Hey, hello travelers. Welcome back to Walk About the World. Welcome back to Disney's Hollywood Studios, as you could guess. You and I are on Hollywood Boulevard, as we should be, looking down toward Mickey and Minnie's Chinese Theater. Keystone Clothiers to the left, Five and Dime to the right. You can smell Starbucks, which makes me want to go in and get a sugary treat, but I'm not going to.

Let's take a walkabout in the studios on a super lovely, breezy fall day here in the city beautiful it's finally comfy it's florida fall which means low 80s i'm here for it come on let's take a walk Storbritannia standing next to the trolley car cafe we've walked up here past vine street and to our right here is sunset boulevard this is one of those rare days where you get here and you're just like wow sky is crisp and blue wispy clouds low humidity breezy so the palm trees on sunset boulevard are blowing and it is just gorgeous we'll head over to a water feature real quick Let's take a quick seat here next to Ticket Central, Hollywood Junction. We can see sunset, we can see Hollywood, Tower of Terror in the background, Echo Lake across the way. One of the shows favorite places to relax. You can kind of see a view of everything from right there and you get a water feature. Over here it's starring rolls area.

I'm actually checking to see if there's anything that says starring rolls anymore. Oh, I don't know if there is. So right next to the Brown Derby, there's the Brown Derby Lounge outside, and right next to that, there's a wide patio with steps leading up. And that used to be Starring Rolls Cafe. R-O-L-L-S. Oh, Starring Rolls is not even on the umbrellas anymore. Dang. Brown Derby Lounge. Used to have my favorite bloody mary sure i've mentioned that they no longer do bummer what we're going to do is we're going to walk up, we're going to get in line. I'm going to save you guys a line experience,

because through the magic of Walk About the World, you can skip the line, and we're going to take in a ride on Mickey and Minis. Haven't done that in a while. But before we do, let's wander up through this area with a lovely ambience. Come on Oh, and I'll bring the box. Okay. Let's go ride Mickey and Minnie's. I'll see you in there. Seven stars. I'm not going to let you go. I'll be every time you do it! Well, you make me feel numb! You're making some terrible friends! You want to spare a life?

What could possibly go wrong? You're a little cocky, aren't you? Oh no! I must have hit that track stretch! I mean, when? And that's it! Oh, how I would fall! Oh no!

The jet is in the track! Hey! Let's get that runaway train! You got a chance! Hurry, hurry, hurry! Step right up, ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls! What the hell? Where are they all? Ruby, run down! Oh, my God. Woo! Hurry Nikki, hurry!

We have to stop them, or we're going all over the place! Woo! I'm sorry. That's right. Everyone to your positions. Ready? And... One, two, three. One, two, three. Oh, excellent. You're all waltzing so beautifully together. Oh.

Now, let's... Konda! Konda! Konda! KONDA! Where's the switch? Wait! Now! Do it! Don't! The switch! Now do it! Well, that concludes my guided tour. Hope you had a relaxing ride around the park. And thanks for sticking with me.

Haven't done Mickey and Minnie's for a while. Back out here, headed towards Echo Lake. It is so beautiful. I wish you guys could see it. Perfect fall light. There's something about the light in the fall that's different here, but we moved here around this time of the year and always seems very familiar and comforting to me. You can drop anchor

for a snack. I always think that sounds a bit weird, but over at Men and Bills Dockside Diner, which is coming up on the left, India across the way. Guys, it is crowded here today. Sea of people leading over towards

back lot. Let's take a swing through Echo Lake area. Come on. I just heard. Oh, I love it when I encounter a fellow traveler with my sense of humor. Dad just said, drop anchor for a snack. That doesn't sound right. Okay, here we are at Echo Park Drive in Sunset Plaza. You ought to be in pictures, says the sign. To our left

is Peavey's, Rocketeer themed frozen Coke. Oh, hello SS down the hatch. I think a frozen coke is in my future today. And here we are. Echo Lake. that's on the side of the ship that normally is running is not running. I don't know why. Michelle, there are two Disney ducks right below me down in Echo Lake just having their best life. The water is beautiful and turquoise today got a slight little waves going on because of the breeze it's beautiful Gertie is directly across from us let's head that way The here we are at Hollywood and Vine I'm going to go over and read their little sign here for what they've got going on right now

because it's got a ghost on it Minnie's Halloween Dine at Hollywood and Vine come trick-or-treating with Annie and her friends okay okay Tune in lounge and echo like apartments here to our left and I'm going to take a picture because I have to Here we are. Gertie's coming up on the right. Is the ice cream shop open? Let's see. Yes, indeed. You can get some ice cream today it seems like a good day for ice cream because even though it's pleasantly warm it's not florida hot where your ice cream melts before you can take the

first bite in the epic stunt spectacular coming up on our left i want to head over to the grand avenue area just because i want to we've recorded the indie stunt show fairly recently and so if you found us recently via spotify or somewhere else and just in, and you want to hear an entire... Christmas season because it is the best Christmas park in my opinion Passing Backlot and Star Tours is coming up on our left. 20 minute standby. Wait. I can smell hamburgers and fried things. I kind of love Backlot, not going to lie. Did you get to hear the AT-AT firing? Yes, it's an AT-AT. Child of the 80s. You say AT-AT, I still love you, but it's not what I call it. Let's go to Grand Avenue.

Do they have a restaurant there? I've got to take a picture of this for you guys because it is literally wall-to-wall sea of people coming from Galaxy's Edge. We should have passed. And we shouldn't have't have. See if I can manage not to get hit. I've rarely seen it. This over here it's like a holiday also Donald and Daisy meeting and greeting to the left and here to our immediate left is the brand new ice cold hydraulic station which is a Coca-Cola station 725 Grand Avenue Thirst Suspension since 1989 Popcorn, churros

premium bars vodka all that stuff welcome to Grand Avenue here we are at the grand lofts one and two bedroom luxury units now available leasing office open daily 728 grand avenue i would love to rent a unit here. Look out over Grand Avenue when I wake up. That would be amazing. Other than the fact that right directly out my window,

I would be seeing the city's top-rated pizza, or its rat pizza, depending on what the sign says at the time. Anyway, I'm standing in the shade of a beautiful crepe myrtle on grand avenue looking across towards grant park and uh the muppets area which we're definitely going to visit here in a second not going to record muppets today because we've also done that recently but it's always a good idea. When you're in Grand Avenue, Grand Park area, you are in Los Angeles. I don't know if you knew that, but that's where you are.

All the signage tells you you are in SoCal. Gonzo's Royal Flush to the left. Muppet Vision 3D to the right. Let's go visit Piggy. Oh, how he is. There you are. Thank you. How are you? Good. Yeah, he's okay. That was good. Yeah. It always gets better.

It sure does. Thank you. Proud to report that all of the little fishies are spouting water. All the rats are present. The wretched refuse is sailing. Also, I'm not sure if you knew, but Gonzo's Royal Flush, you can also pick up plumbing supplies bathroom supplies executive use a toilet showroom let's head down the ramp over here and go past Pizza Rizzo

and here we have the beautiful and lamented Stage One Company Store which hasn't been open in ages. I miss it. Inside is some really cool backstage Muppets set decor. We need this open, Disney. Come on. Everybody loves Muppets. It's a store a store like what are you doing alright passing Pizza Rizzo which is pretty packed today bunch of people enjoying the city's

absolute best pizza best pizza on the planet. Because, you know, pizza planet. And up above, you can see some faded paint that says Rizzo's Deluxe Supreme Banquet Hall. It's a real classy joint, is what it says. Over in the corner, of course, is the tomato loading zone. No parking, standing, stopping, no kidding. And there's a box of tomatoes being loaded featuring the Heckler brand of crushed tomatoes. Only the best throwing tomatoes used here at Rizzo's.

And here is It's a Wonderful Shop, which also has been closed forever. And I see this is the type of thing that I should remember, but I think they're doing something this season with the wonderful shop. Am I right? I hope so. I would love to see it open.

Yes, yes. Yes, yes. Mitch Landis, mama has your table. It's worth taking a stroll down by Mama Melrose just to smell the wood smoke and the cooking meats. It smells so good down here. On the other side of Stage 1 now, which is beautifully decorated with paint that is not quite done yet. It's about half painted.

Wet paint do not touch, it says. Also, in shocking purple, you will see Animal was here. Yay! A little known sight because it's difficult to see, but if you're coming up, if you round the bend and come around the other side of Stage One Company Store and you're coming back towards the Muppet Fountain, up above Pizza Rizzo's green upper level, you can just barely see where it says Metropolitan Department of Power and Water which is what the Pizzeria building used to be. Up above Gonzo's Royal Flush the water tower has a fading sign that says Broadway plumbing so a lot of power and water and plumbing used to happen over

here The The They are not even real rocks. Let's wrap things up here with a little Galaxy's Edge stroll. Stopping over here, look at the A-Wing. You can hear the voice of Harrison Dula over the radio here. You know who that is, right? Yeah. I'm going to go to the bathroom, okay? Drink some tits, Eddie. Here we have three Gonk Droids recharging at a power station. Gonk Droids are the walking batteries of the Star Wars universe. She's got it where it counts kid. This is my balcony balcony. Falcon straight ahead, the dark black spires right behind.
