Hello and welcome back to Walk About the World, Holiday Travelers.
Right?
Heather's with me. Hi, Heather.
Hi, everybody.
For those of you that are frequent visitors to the Polynesian Resort, you'll know where we are.
This spot, I have to admit, is new to me and is the best place on planet Earth.
Period.
You cannot argue this.
So where we are, we've come down from the lobby to the water.
We've turned right.
We've went along the trail.
And then there's a trail leading up to a little hill.
And this hill, I'm guessing, is a fireworks viewing area.
But setting the scene for you, the longhouses are behind us.
In front of us, well, there you hear a ferry. In front of us is all of the Seven Seas Lagoon.
There's another ferry. So you're at the top of a little hill, palm trees all around you,
grass in front. All of the scene in front of you is all the Seven Seas Lagoon.
You can see the Polynesian bungalows ahead of you.
To your left is the Grand Flow.
To your right is the Contemporary.
Directly in front of you is a very clear view of the castle.
The ferries are coming and going to the left and the right. Water is lapping on the castle. The fairies are coming and going to the left and the right.
Water is lapping on the shore.
And you have Christmas music of the islands playing
right by your bench.
And so this little episode
is just literally to bring a little bit of
how much literal happiness this little spot has brought us today to you.
Wherever you are, we hope you're well.
And please enjoy about 20 minutes of Polynesian goodness.

It's Christmas in our old land, on the sandy beaches white as snow.
And little children understand, Santa Claus is on the go, go, go, go.

Padding on a magic sea of blue,
With a ho, ho, molly, molly, Merry Christmas to you.

Here comes Santa in a red canoe. I'm dreaming of a white Christmas O Calvary, where the treetops glisten And children listen to hear sleigh bells in the snow. A cuica new

May your days be merry and bright
And may all your Christmases be white

May your days be merry and bright And may all your Christmases be white I'm going to die. This time of year the nights become longer
And the cold winter winds start to blow
And the feeling deep inside me is growing stronger
And returning to the islands is all I know And the feeling deep inside me is growing stronger.
And returning to the islands is all I know.
I'm coming home for Christmas once again.
I'm coming home for Christmas once again.
It's been too long Away from those I love And all the memories of
Christmases before
Bring me home again
When the Christmas lights rise up
In the city
And the first snowflakes fall to the ground
I keep warm with my thoughts of Hawaii
To the islands I'll be homeward bound
I'm coming home for Christmas once again.
I'm coming home for Christmas once again.
It's been too long away from those I love.
And all the memories of Christmases before
Bring me home again
The sea, the sun
The magic of all of us calling me
And soon I'll be home
For Christmas once again.
I'll come home for Christmas once again.
It's been too long away from those I love.
And all the memories of Christmases before Bring me home again
It's been too long away from those I love And all the memories of Christmases before
Bring me home again
I'm coming home
