Hello, travelers, and welcome back to Walk About the World.
I am your host, Michelle, currently standing outside Mickey's Toontown at Disneyland Resort.
I thought we'd go into Toontown, press some buttons, read some signs, maybe get some cartoony trouble,
I don't know.
We'll see.
But let's head inside. The train is now departing. Ah! so
so Music Coming up on the fire department. That's absolutely my favorite button to push.
When you ring the doorbell of the fire department, a Dalmatian pops out of the window to bark
at you because, you know, why would you ring a doorbell? Let's do it again just because
There is vicious Coming up on the gag warehouse. There's some boxes up should we open it? Alright.
Fireworks Factory. It's a dud!
Another doorbell here with a dog.
See?
That wasn't a...
It was a cat.
I don't understand.
That's fine. See, it wasn't a cat.
Toontown glass factory. Alright, this one is one of my favorites too. It is...
The Powerhouse.
By order of the Toontown Power Company, opening this store is absolutely positively and unquestionably
forbidden.
Unless you really feel like it.
I really feel like it, everything's fine.
Coming up on the camera shop, I'm going to ring the doorbell. No sound on that one, just a very bright light.
Alright let's enter the post office
few different boxes here I'm gonna go for Roger Rabbit
boy you're pretty nosy aren't am I doing in this mail box?
What's wrong here?
Donald Duck?
The Minnie of Brie and Brie.
Mickey Mouse?
Ha ha!
Mail's here!
Oh boy!
Minnie Mouse?
Mickey Mouse?
Oh boy!
Oh boy!
Oh boy!

Oh boy! Oh boy! Oh boy! Oh boy boy oh boy! Mickey Mouse?
Ha ha! Mail's here!
Oh boy!
Minnie Mouse.
My name's Minnie Mouse.
What's yours?
Huh.
That's neat.
We have Mickey Minis runaway, rail away to our right here. I'm going to walk around some more. City Hall is straight ahead with the courthouse next to that.
Samba school with Jose.
Three nephews from Duckbird Catering.
Then we have Cafe Daisy.
Department of Ink and Paint. And we have Good Boy Groceries Market. In the window of the market they have a little display that fountain in front of us. We have Goopy's house to our left.
Should we go inside Goopy's house? Why not, right?
Goopy's house has a whole yard of a play area which is kind of neat. Close line. There is a lot of craziness in here. That was getting to be a little too much for me. All throughout Goofy's house there are these little balls that kind of travel all over
the place through these tubes.
And you can interact with all these different stations to make different sounds and very
loud sounds. Up next we have Donald's boat. The Miss Daisy. You used to be able to go in the boat. I don't think you can do that anymore.
It's just kind of windows looking into the boat, but it's really just more of a facade. When you do this one, you can go up there. Alright, let's keep going.
Looks like Minnie is meeting guests inside her house, so I don't think we're gonna wait in line to do that. Mickey's house looks wide open so let's
let's do that I'm going to go to the There's a lot of puns here.
The doggy door says ace doggydor. It's got a cut out okudo.
That's not really a pun, but it's more funny. Tickling see all you toons out there in radio land who puts that smile on your radio tile
Giant radio playing a randomness
There's a steamboat in a bottle here. The time of the fall of the school is only predictable with the
total time of the school.
I lost my sense of order.
I am pretty much here, well, not exactly.
I'm in my living room right now and I'll be there all day.
I'm filming you, not exactly. I'm in my movie bar right now and I'll be there all day.
I'm filming it, you know.
I'm sure you'll be visiting on the set.
See you there!
Look, I'm in the workshop.
I'm just watching some of it.
The fun part about Toontown is everything looks like super soft and plush, but it's
so hard, it's like cement. The Now entering Mickey's watch room.
Got some mouse and glow floor wax.
Toon Dust.
Comics cleansing. Next one too. 4-0, 8 and a half formula. Who's dog house houses out here.
Mickey has some cabbage, turnips, and carrots. Now entering Mickey's some chickens.

I don't see a duck, but...
There's a bunch of canvas and paint cans everywhere.
So maybe at some point there was a duck at work. Oh and the paint I'm going to be a little bit of a little bit of a little bit of a
little bit of a
little bit of a
little bit of a

While you wait in line to meet Mickey, they show you Mickey cartoons.
Obviously.
I don't think I'm going to meet Mickey today, so I'll make my way back to Toon Town. Now exiting out through Mickey's garage.
On our right is Gadget's Go Coaster. Or is it Go Go Coaster? Gadget's Coaster. You need interviews for your channel?
No, just Gadget Coaster.
Is GoGo?
Oh, that's a different cartoon.
Ignore me please, ignore me.
And that is it for Toontown.
Making our way back towards the entrance here. The The The music sounds so good here.
You know what, we're passing by the fire house again and I'm tempted to push the button again.
And you know what?
I'm going to press the button again.
There's a good buffer up there.
Always on duty.
Wow, Roger Rabbit's only a five minute wait, so I'm gonna do it.
