Well, hey there, travelers. Welcome back to Walk About the World.

minute and head over to Epcot come on let's go And away we go.
Up, up, and away.

In just a few moments, we will be traveling over the headwaters of the Everglades. The water that flows from the protected wetlands around Walt Disney World Resort
travels all the way to the Everglades, the Atlantic Ocean, and the Gulf of Mexico. Did you know that the entire Walt Disney World Resort is over 40 square miles?
That's about the same size as the city of San Francisco, and double the island of Manhattan.1987年 4月1日 東京都交通局8000形電車 visit World Showcase today, now might be a good time to practice your olas, ni haos, and konichiwas.
When you arrive at each nation's pavilion, cultural hosts will be waiting
to greet you in their native language, helping make your visit to Epcot
a truly international exchange. We are now arriving at Epcot.
To all who come to this place of joy, hope, and friendship, welcome.
Please remain seated until the doors automatically open.
When exiting the cabin, please supervise children, collect your belongings, and watch your steps.
Thank you for flying with us. So here's my little skyliner pro tip for you if you're all about that view see if you can
request a uh a gondola without a wrap because even though the wraps are really cute with all
the characters on them and stuff they do kind of ruin the view you can't really see as well outside. I prefer the one without them.
So if that's what you want to see, you should always at least ask. Today they were kind
of shoving everybody in. So I don't know. I'm sure they'll accommodate if you ask them. Need an app card? Some days you just have to come into Epcot
right into World Showcase.
It's a different feel than coming through the main gate.
It's a different feel, especially if you're hungry.
It's a good choice. especially if you're hungry. It's a good choice.
Which is what I am.
So I'm going to get some fish and chips.
And I'll see you on the other side. Kampung Kampung All right, leaving the Yorkshire County fish shop, famous fish and chips delicious belly is full and i hear the band
over in uh does that have a name tudor lane so if you go down tudor lane
down to the little pavilion we will find command performance let's take in a little bit of this She wouldn't understand Pump it up Until you can feel me
Pump it up
When you don't believe me
Hey! A little bit of Elvis Costello. All right, back to the showcase.
Let's go left.
I'm trying to think if there's anything we haven't really recorded.
The only thing I can think of is maybe the China movie.
So let's go over to China and get you the China film.
I don't remember what the last time I saw that was so... Let's walk over that way.
Did you hear that?
That's a Disney duck.
I don't know if you could hear her or not.
She was talking.
Oh, this is nice. So the sun has set, or is setting currently
as we walk toward Mexico.
We're just past Canada.
And there's a beautiful breeze which is nice because it was another hot one today.
Crowd's pretty large.
We are in the middle of food and wine so that would make sense.
Little heat's not keeping them away. Okay.
Here's where it starts bottlenecking.
Oh, one of my new favorite puns to the left.
Swirled showcase.
This off-serve place.
Swirled showcase.
Good job. Port of entry. gift shop to our right. There's Dante barking at us as we walk by. There was a rocket launch a little earlier, but it was a little too cloudy.
We weren't able to see it.
But if you're ever at Disney during a rocket launch, it is a very cool thing to see.
One of the perks of being a Central Floridian.
Mexico Pyramid right in front of us.
Gotta love when you walk by Mexico on a hot day and you can just feel the burst of AC coming out of the pyramid.
Oh yeah, that's nice. Definitely draws you in. Not crowd as we're walking by.
They seem to be going in the opposite direction of everybody else.
Nice little break here in Norway.
Let's take in some Norway.
Thank you. Thank you.
Royal Summer House.
Meet Anna and Elsa.
What? Nothing. Do you remember when there used to be a Viking ship back here?
Was it a playground? Or was it just decoration? I don't remember. There's a little ship back here.
Is it a playground? It was just decoration, I don't remember.
We're gonna go through the bathroom!
Daddy, we have a surprise, right?
Yep.
Be careful.
Some frozen treats to our left.
Pun intended or no?
I think it was just coincidence. Frozen treats next to Frozen the ride. Alright, China. So we'll turn left into the pavilion under the gate, get out of the congested walkway.
615 Front Lane.
Good evening.
Tonight at 9 o'clock,
we invite you to join us for
Luminous, the Symphony of Ice,

the symphony of us,
beginning this evening at 9 o'clock.
We'll be gone before then.
Found Remy.
I won't tell you where, though.
That's a spoiler.
Part of this scavenger hunt food and wine Found you a water feature back here.
Quiet path to the right in the pavilion. Kansai International Airport All right, let's go in and catch the show. if you've never been in. Thank you. ¶¶ Hello, Ni Hao.
Welcome everyone. Due to the nature of this film, there may be times when you feel as if you are moving.
For this reason, we have provided lean rails.
Please feel free to lean on them at any time.
However, for your safety, please do not sit or swing on the rails, as they are not designed
to support your full weight or the weight of your children.
If you need to exit during our show, please feel free to use the doors to your left over there.
And as a courtesy to other guests, we ask that you please refrain from eating, drinking, smoking,
or using flash photography while in our theater.
Thank you, and now please you a reflection of China.
Ah, China. When one thinks of this magnificent country,
one cannot help but envision the one Li Changcheng.
The Great Wolf.
It once stretched like a mighty dragon across 4,000 miles of China.
Welcome. I am Li Bai, a poet of the Tang Dynasty. And I have returned to share with you
reflections of my beloved China.
Like this great wall,
it winds like a road
across timeless landscapes.
But one can also find landscapes
that are ever-changing.
Shanghai, a city forever reinventing itself.
Vibrant, sophisticated, romantic.
As Shanghai reflects modern China, historic Nanjing Road reflects modern Shanghai. Set your gaze across the Huangpu River and you will find a new China that reaches
for the sky. Yet in this city of East of modern China, there is always time for
Tai Chi, a tradition that has endured for centuries.
Up here on Hongshan, at the Sea of clouds, painters and poets like myself have been inspired
for generations.
In China we say, a poem in every painting, and a painting in every poem.
We have had a long history.
Much of it has been recorded in this fashion.
However, it may be said that the history of the Chinese people
is not rigid in ink, but with water.
The mighty Yangtze River.
A fellow poet once wrote,
traveling against the currents of the Yangtze
is more difficult than climbing to heaven.
That may have been once true, but no longer. The course of this great river
through mountains and valleys
touches the lives of 500 million Chinese.
There is no better example of China's harmony with water than Suzhou.
This ancient city sits on the
longest man-made waterway
in the world.
When Marco Polo traveled
this way, he called Suzhou
the Venice of the East.
I suppose
if I had traveled to Europe,
they would now call
Venice the Suzhou of the West.
So vast is China that even within her borders are many exotic lands and contrasts.
From the serenity of Heavenly Lake to the busy night market of Urumqi.
Here one discovers that Xinjiang province is home to many ethnic peoples with their own unique customs
and their own unique cuisines. Out here in the Gobi Desert, one still finds travelers on the ancient Silk Road, the same
road that over 700 years ago brought Marco Polo to these very gates.
The gates of Charyugwan,
the extreme western end of the Great War.
A visit to Inner Mongolia shows us a reflection of an earlier time.
Here, the nomadic people still live much as they always have.
Far to the south is Yunnan Province, home to many of China's national minorities.
The cultures of this province are as diverse as the landscape.
Like the Shilin Stone Forest, one of nature's unique wonders.
In the far northeast is Heilongjiang.
Although winter here can last six months, the people celebrate by carving magical sculptures of ice.
Macau. After 400 years, this exotic land of Portuguese charm is once more within China's borders.
Ah, Hong Kong.
One of the most exciting cities on earth.
A city steeped in western culture, but still uniquely Chinese.
Even Hong Kong's buildings, thrusting ever skyward, reflect the city's vitality.
Hong Kong, ever on the move.
Yes, the Chinese landscape changes swiftly, but one can also find enduring legacies that reflect our past.
Everywhere one sees our history,
ancient treasures like the nine dragon's screen reflect our traditions.
Dragons were a powerful symbol of the emperor's authority.
For centuries,
the tombs of China's emperors have been watched over
by these remarkable warriors
of terracotta
and these figures of stone.
And for 800 years,
this intersection of three rivers has been protected by a silent sentinel,
the giant Buddha of Lishan.
One can find a living legacy of China's past in the world famous Peking Opera.
In the center of Beijing is perhaps China's greatest legacy,
the Forbidden City.
Imagine courtyards that could hold a hundred thousand members of the imperial court. For 500 years, this vast, walled city was the home of 24 emperors, the sons of heaven.
But today, all the world can pass through this gate. Tiananmen Square.
To stand here is to stand at the heart of China. Beihai Park was once a playground for the Emperor,
but now it is a playground for all of China. China. I have brought you to a place of unique beauty called Reed Flute Cave.
The same forces that shaped these pillars of stone have done a more remarkable job directly above us.
The landscape of Guilin is unsurpassed
in all of China.
Countless artists and poets have struggled to capture the unique beauty of this region. The Lea River winds like a silver snake through these scattered dragons teeth.
I once wrote, whoever looks on this,
loses himself in eternity.
We have seen many reflections of China,
but the true face of China
can be found in our people.
We have now come full circle.
Sadly, that means this is where we must part.
But I hope you will return to China someday.
A wave of the hand now, and I am gone.
Lowering my head, I dream that I am home.
Until we meet again,
Sightseeing.
Thank you for coming today.
I hope you enjoyed the show.
Please get on your personal with IAS.
It's purely all endorsed.
Have a good night.
Bye-bye.
All right.
I hope you enjoyed Reflections of China and our walk today.
I love coming out here.
