Hello, my dear fellow, fellow theme park travelers. Podcast extended family, far and wide, hope you are well. Yes, I'm still here. Life has been a little lifey at the, uh, at the Jeremy household. lately we've sold her house we've moved across town we didn't go anywhere we're still in the city beautiful just kind of like different uh different street same day same place different street but welcome back and greetings once again from disney's hollywood studios guessing you knew that already so whoa

Did you guys hear that? So we're about lost their lunch there, I think. But we are standing at Hollywood Boulevard and Sunset Boulevard, right next to the Starbucks, the trolley car cafe, and right across from Hollywood Junction. And we're going to be spending our time today only on Sunset Boulevard. We're going to do a deep dive into Sunset Boulevard, daring to be dull.

going to dive into the details. That was a lot of D's right there. A lot of alliteration right there, but we're going to just stay here on sunset, poke into every single store, look at a bunch of the details, listen to some stuff. So what are we waiting on? Let's go. and sunset at the intersection. And we're going to start off by going to the water feature because that's what we do. You know the one. It's right across from Taylars to the Stars. Right across from Keystone Clothiers.

Clothiers? Is that it? And it's green, tile, and concrete with deep azure blue bottom. There's our stop sign. Let's park a minute. Oh, that's all right? Oh, that's all that. When you go to look at me, this crock. Oh, I don't know for the bomb.

I get a good out of it. You're welcome. You're welcome. You know what I'm going to be able to do. I don't know. I'm going to do. This is great, yeah, me. Ah, yeah, me.

We're all my favorite vantage points, because you can see everything. You can see all the way back down Hollywood Boulevard towards the entrance And that whole streetscape You can peer out towards Echo Lake And the SS down the hatch And the blue umbrellas where people are eating Glanced off to your right towards the Hollywood

Brown Derby And then behind us where we're headed Sunset Boulevard And this is just one of these Lovely little pleasant Water features Sets here and just burbles happily and gives me endorphins.

Into a bustling cafe Spanish style architecture stucco Large tall red doors Somebody blowing their nose we're going to stay on one side of the street on the way down the right side and we're going to stay on the other side of the street on the way back and talk about everything that we encounter and stop and see what we can see with our ears

Can you hear the SS down the hatch in the distance? You hear the SS down the hatch in the distance? Rounding... Rounding the corner of the corner of the corner of the corner of the corner here. Past the Charlie Car Cafe. We see the legends of Hollywood off to the right with the streamline modern architecture, the neon. And this entire area is 30s, 40s, classic Hollywood, bustling, shopping, dining, entertainment, streets lined with theaters and stores and eateries,

where everybody's out on the town for a good time. Sign here for Legends of Hollywood says Sparkle on Sunset Boulevard. This is the Pandora store, and we're going to go in every single store. I know. We normally don't do that. We're gone. Let's go. Outside has a classic-looking starlet, and the sign says, be the star you wish upon. Come on. Let's sign inside. boulevard here Storm clouds are brewing overhead, by the way. Across the corner is Sunset Club Couture in blue and black tile. To our right is the restroom area. Restrooms and telephone, shipping, receiving, L.A. Cinema Storage. and the loading dock. Oh, man, guys of the gate. I can't see it.

Oh, man, guys. I can literally see the wall of rain. Across the street past the Paradise Pier sign. Oh man We'll see what kind of trouble we can get into here This is sunset club couture fashion and fun for everyone And above the apartment above Or the building above is director's best friend

Incorporated stunt dogs All right, let's Step inside, come on. What do we have in here? This really is Stitch HQ. Handbags, shirts, crocs, shoulder bags, cups, all the stuff, all the stitch, which is co-host Pete the Neverland Locals' absolute favorite character. Moving on down past that, we have an entire display of just Winnie the Pooh.

Shirts, dresses, some really cool tumblers, all Winnie the Pooh themed. A little cookie jar. And, of course, plush. Probably the biggest selection of that I've seen anywhere over here other than maybe World of Disney. Everything in here is the dark woods and silvers and angular metals and it looks very ornate in here. Dark tile. They have everything.

Just about ran over a fellow travel. And as we come through, like, a little archway into, I'm not really sure what this next door is until we go outside. But the theming instantly changes. It looks like a fantastical, like, castle or cottage. But inside here is loads of Halloween merch. Brand new Halloween stuff for this year. The Halloween Mickey plush looks incredible. All right, we're going to pop back out and then I'll tell you where we were. a circle building where we were. Once upon a time, that's what's going on. Now once we come out here, you get a huge and looming perfect view of the Hollywood Tower Hotel that has authentic battle damage.

Theater of the Stars. to our foreground right. Well? And there's a seating area out here with a lovely little tree for shade and stone balconies to our right that you can do. I'm like a little duck. I'm live here right now. Of course.

we have a lovely seating area that's in view of the theater of the stars. And it's kind of quiet and tucked away. It's got water fountains out here, and like I said, a beautiful stone bench to set on. It's under some shade. It's one of our favorite places to come and set it in part. and just listen. Just taking a moment, y'all.

Here at the foot of the stairs for the Beauty and the Beast show. Love this area. And I, I've only been to California twice. So I don't know this area of California for realzies. But I know it's inspired by the, the real thing, but I love this area over here because it has high stone walls, and behind those stone walls are elaborate planter beds. And what I'm looking at across the way is roses. It's just a huge rose garden in view of the Hollywood Tower Hotel. I'll just love it.

And the duck we were given is a dragon. I should have got the name of their channel, but I wasn't thinking. He to the moment, you know. All right, let's turn the corner. How do you do? And we are going to take a seat on said stoned wall. Does I say stoned wall? This is a stone wall?

And see what we can see with our ears for a minute. Hollywood Tower of Terror, to your right. And directly across from us is Anaham Produce. Fairfax Fair All that good stuff We'll get over there in a minute Let's take a listen Can I go to the, um, to the wireless charger?

Yeah, after a while. Yeah. Yeah. You can't get it. The type is the show. What are you want? Oh, good. That's never paid a computer.

Wow. So, it's a long way. hard. Hard to beat. All right. You're going to go. Hard to beat that vibe. All right. Thunder clouds behind us, wall of rain in the distance.

What happens when you're out here at the park on an adventure? I just walking away from here. Right there, everybody's blind. Lime there. Rosie says, stay true to the red, white, and blue.

Keep them flying. V's for victory. They guys sit down. There's an airplane prop over on the wall over on the wall next to Rosies with a poster for buying war bonds to keep them flying Next door to the sign says send your taste buds soaring at Catalina Eddies if we were in for a long soak or if this is just a pass-or-bye. I'm going to hang out here in the pouring the rain with our fellow travelers for a minute

So we are now over here to Sunset Ranch Pins and Souvenirs. Lovely little baskets of caladiums. lining the streets the military green box to our left says buy war bonds and stamps US mail here's anaheim produce looks kind of good actually hot

pretzels fresh fruit fresh lemonade with oranges and get your cuties little mandarin's frozen margaritas too and over here is the sunshine day drinking bar it's just a sunshine day bar day drinking bar too you can get a cherry blossom a south side fizz and a black cherry moonshine lemonade

every one of those sounds good Here's Warehouse A, Cab Garage, Disney Vacation Club. Sites to C with DVC. Spring flings and fall getaways. I'll see it through. I'll see it through. All right, we are at the Real Vogue store and the windows above say

International Brotherhood of Second Assistant Directors We're standing behind you And the Muscle Beach Bodyguard Service, of course I would pop in this store but every soul in the nearby area is already there. So let's not do that.

Come on. This may be a passing shower but it's not a quickly passing. The majestic theater across the way glitz and glamour for every occasion where the stars shine. Majestic theater. And one of the most beautiful buildings on this entire street coming up on our right, the Beverly Sunset Boutique.

And pastel collars of brown. and cream and blue and bright red Beverly Sunset neon ornate, beautiful if I can remember got a lot of toy story stuff

in there oh here we go Josh can you hear it guys can you tell or is the is the umbrella too loud even on a rainy day we begin the beguine I have to really respect the people with no poncho, no umbrella,

and they're just like hardcore. You're just like, don't care. And we're just like, don't care. Trolleycar Cafe to your left. And what used to be the starring rolls off to our right, if you guys remember, the little sunken seating area over here, lots of tables with covered red umbrellas, they still exist. They used to say, starring rolls, R-O-L-L-S. They no longer do. Which is a bummer.

Forgive me a second. That was me. Oh, I see sun shower. In Florida, that's when it's sunny and raining at the same time. Sunshadow. Did you know, my dear travelers, that there is a Braille map of this park that you can find? We just walk to it. It's a map of the entire park, but it's also in Braille.

Right. right at the entrance to the plaza for the Chinese Sea. Round Derby offshore right. Let's head that way real quick. There is a river running by us. The drains here at Walt Disney World, they don't keep up sometimes. Passing the Brown Derby Lounge to the right. Brave homies still outside eating and drinking. Godspeed.

speed, because they're getting wet. Rain doesn't fall here in Florida. It doesn't just fall to the ground. It goes sideways, always. Ah, slowly but surely clearing up. Hollywood Theater and the, uh, Hollywood Theater. Chinese Theater in view. Tons of little ones running and splashing in the rain, which I would be doing too if I was them. Just to let you know, when I ventured over here today, it feels like 107. So Florida hasn't got the notice that it's almost fall yet.

Still full bake here in Florida. But now, it is cool. There's a slight breeze blowing. There wasn't one earlier. The palm trees over by Echo Lake are swaying. and the sun's coming back out and it's cool and deep breath in and out Disney meditation with host Jeremy All right, the sun is back out.

There's some drops falling, but it's mostly past us now. Everybody's out and about. The humidity's rising. We still have a little bit of the cool breeze.
