Well hey travelers, welcome back to Walk About The World.
We are your weekly audio stroll with a friend through the parks and resorts at Walt Disney
World and Disneyland.
Producer Josh with you today, Back in the Hollywood that never was
and always will be.
The Disney MGM Studios.
You know it as Disney's Hollywood Studios.
Currently standing on the corner
of Sunset Boulevard and Gower Street.
In the looming
shadow of the Hollywood Tower Hotel.
Oh yeah, that's good stuff right there I
think today we'll start you over here take a walk down Sunset Boulevard
take a stroll down Sunset through the middle of the park over to Grand Street
to our final destination the one and only
Muppet Vision 3D
We need some Muppets in our Lodge right now
So let's see what we can hear along the way
What do you say?
Let's go. Thank you. Terima kasih telah menonton We're hanging out by the tower. Let's go down Garo Street and head to a Rock and Roller Coaster and see if there's any
good stuff over here.
Since it is back open now. G-Force Records.
Little Zeppelin for you.
It's only a 35 minute standby for Rock and Roller Coaster.
But we have some Muppets to meet. It's only a 35 minute standby for Rock and Roller Coaster.
But we have some Muppets to meet.
Heading back to Sunset.
Plus I had to get out of there. I don't want to get sued by Jimmy Page or Robert Plant.
I would just blame G-Force Records. They'd be like, who? Ready? Smile! Big hug!
Did you smile?
Hollywood Scoops, Ice Cream, and Fairfax Fair to our right.
Beauty and the Beast.
Live on stage to our left. Passing our little one and only little red car trolley. That is actually a caricature spot.
In our little baby Carthay circle to the left. Oh, it's time to begin the beginning you guys.
Oh, this song, I tell you.
This takes me back, Jeremy.
This takes me back.
Back in that first season of masking up and all the announcements.
And we asked the age-old question, what the heck is a baguine?
Turns out it was a dance.
And now we know. One of my favorite little parts when you get to the end here of Sunset Boulevard, right between the Majestic Theater marquee and the, what is this, the Legends shop,
there's a little facade that is yellow and red and blue,
a little primary color scheme,
a little Art Deco-y looking.
And it looks like it's straight out of Dick Tracy.
It's like one of my favorite little bits of old Hollywood studios, old MGM studios.
You might call it the Mickey Mouse building because it's Mickey colors.
Red and yellow and black.
I'll take a pick. They survived.
Another one of my favorite details you might miss if you're not paying attention. In between the Legends of Hollywood store and the old Starbucks, you'll see over in
the seating area, just above the seating area is a billboard for the Hollywood Tower Hotel. In its prime, it looks like they've redone the sign itself too.
Looks great.
Love when they refresh things here and there.
Okay, let's talk or walk.
Let's head back over to Hollywood Boulevard.
Chinese Theater, straight ahead of us. One way railway sign, neons flickering. Terima kasih telah menonton Kampung Kampung I see a show. Terima kasih telah menonton I wonder why he's only at 30 minutes.
These are some of the lowest times we've seen in quite a while. I'm not sure.
We could cut through Commissary Lane and get right to our destination,
but I think we're gonna go a long way.
Head over toward Echo Lake
say hi to Gertie Indy I can really feel the lack of crowds.
You can probably even hear it.
I mean, not a lot of people around me. Hyperion Theater and Frozen to the right. Dr. Jones towering above us straight ahead, looking epic if I do say so myself. Nobody over here.
Echo Lake by Gertie.
Wow.
This is great.
Let's just hang out here for a minute.
Enjoy the quiet. I'm going to go to the next one. Kampung Kampung Vamos lá.
Vamos para cá, vamos para cá.
Mais um? so
so it's actually a positive sign.
Slowly just moseying back toward our destination.
Mickey Shorts Theater about to pass on our right. With of course that beautifully, beautifully done play on words.
Because it looks like Mickey's shorts and they show Mickey shorts This is a washing machine. He said it'll keep his smile away. Yeah, well he had chicken for lunch. Star Tours of the walk home. Turn the corner, we're on Grand Avenue.
A tiny bit left of the back lot. I'm going to go to the front. This is a good one.
Into Grand Park.
More affectionately known as the Muppet Courtyard.
You know where we're headed. Yay!
Vale.
Vale.
You? Ravnig Let's go meet some Muppets. This sounds like what I'd like.
Let's go meet some Muppets.
We'll see you again soon, Piggy Mountain.
After our glorious three-hour finale. We did good.
Just me and the cast. It's so good. I'm gonna hold it for the camera. I'm gonna hold it for the camera.
I'm gonna hold it for the camera.
I'm gonna hold it for the camera.
I'm gonna hold it for the camera.
I'm gonna hold it for the camera.
I'm gonna hold it for the camera.
I'm gonna hold it for the camera.
I'm gonna hold it for the camera.
I'm gonna hold it for the camera.
I'm gonna hold it for the camera. I'm gonna hold it for the camera. I like this I got like a whole thing Nice, alright
Ya, como tu lo sientes

Ladies and gentlemen, can I have your attention please?
Excuse me, uh... Quiet!
Well, you gotta project from the diaphragm.
Thank you, Rizzo.
Ladies and gentlemen, if you could step as far forward and close together as you can.
Yeah, yeah, yeah. Get real close.
You see, we're doing research on deodorant strength.
Rizzo, you're disgusting.
It's a gift.
Well, we're ready to start Muppet Vision 3D.
And if you'll...
Excuse me, excuse me, excuse me, but what's coming?
Oh, he's inside getting ready.
Oh, great.
I've got a whole act of a 3D movie just waiting here.
I'll get it.
OK, get ready, girls.
Scooter, I'd like to present the 3Ds.
Hi, I'm Dorothy.
I'm Dinah.
I'm Max.
Yeah, Debbie was sick, so the union sent me.
Daddy was sick, so did you.
One, two, three.
By the light.
By the light.
By the light.
I'm the king of the people.
Not the sun, but the moon.
No, no, no.
Come on.
No, no, no.

No, no, no. No, no, no. No, no, no. No, no, no. No, no, no, no. Fozzie, get him out of here. Okay, come on girls, I'm sorry.
Okay, I'm sorry.

Maybe another time.
Another time.
Come on, man.
Come on, now.
Come on, now.
Oh, brother.
Now folks, if you.
Ice cold?
Bean, where are you going?
Oh, I'm going to help Miss Piggy with her musical number.
But Bean, you know nobody interrupts Miss Piggy while she's rehearsing?
Oh, my God!
Oh, my God!
Oh, my God!
Oh, my God!
Oh, my God!
Oh, my God!
I warned you.
Oh, Scooter.
Oh, nice outfit.
Scooter, Scooter, there's a telephone call for you.
It's urgent.
Oh, thanks.
Yeah, yeah. I got him. We don't have a telephone.
And now, ladies and gentlemen, while you are a captive audience,
a display of tremendous tap dancing talent with the added cultural component of...
a puck of flowers balanced on my head.
Hit it, Rusty.
Yeah!
Hello, friends.
It is time for our annual Muppet Vision Dance Competition.
So, as Gonzo is tip-topping away,
I'm going to need everyone to stand on up
and you're going to start tip-topping your way
to the yellow lines right next to the doors.
And while you're at it, show them those best dance moves.
This is the Muppets after all.
Yeah, thank you.
You're welcome.
Thank you.
Congratulations to the winner of our dance competition.
It is the woman in the black tank top with the sunglasses on her head.
Who is still dancing. I love it.
We have no phone.
Well, I'll find out if you want.
Where was I before I was interrupted?
Ah, yes, I was going to tell you about the three...
Hello, Scooter.
Bean, Bean, Bean, where are you going with that?
Oh, I thought this piggy might need a prop for her number.
Bean, can't you see the piggy doesn't want any help?
Oh, I'm sure she'll like this.
Look, I'm sorry she'll like this. Look.
Look, I'm sorry about these interruptions. No!
No!
No!
No!
No!
No!
No!
All right, we're just about ready to start the movie.
So if you listen carefully,
you can hear the orchestra tuning up.
Hey, now wait a second.
Hey, you penguins can't go in there,
you'll interrupt the orchestra.
Stutter, stutter, these penguins are the orchestra.
So Mikey, gee, you got it, Estelle, come on, let's go.
Come on, come on.
Well, all right, but before we go in,
here's Sam Eagle with some important safety instructions.
Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls,
I am Sam Eagle,
and these are some important safety instructions for you.
Sam, Sam.
Not now.
Sam, this is urgent.
Come here.
What is it?
Let's go.
What?
Yes!
Here?
Yes, indeed.
Right over there.
Oh, of course, certainly.
Ladies and gentlemen, we have an unexpected surprise.
I have the great honor of introducing the one and the only Mr. Mickey Mouse!
Hello!
Hi, dear.
Welcome to the Mickey Mouse Museum.
I'm Mr. Mickey Mouse.
I'm the one and the only Mr. Mickey Mouse.
I'm the one and the only Mr. Mickey Mouse.
I'm the one and the only Mr. Mickey Mouse.
I'm the one and the only Mr. Mickey Mouse.
I'm the one and the only Mr. Mickey Mouse.
I'm the one and the only Mr. Mickey Mouse.
I'm the one and the only Mr. Mickey Mouse. I'm the one and the only Mr. Mickey Mouse. I'm the one and the only Mr. Mickey Mouse. I'm the one and the only Mr. Mickey Mouse. I'm the one and the only Mr. Mickey Mouse!
Hello! Hi there! Welcome to my pond!
How you doing? Hello!
Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa!
What?
You are not Mickey Mouse, you are a rat!
Ratschmack! Besides, they're tourists. What do they know?
Will you get out of here?
Okay, the door. I still get my ten bucks. Get out, get out, get out! I've got Donald Duck back here. Will you get out of here okay the door still get my tin bucks get

where was i yes safety instructions first when entering the theater please move as far to the
end of the row as possible stopping in the middle is distinctly unpatriotic.
Second, do not attempt to walk while wearing your 3D glasses. You may trip, and frankly, you will...
What are you doing?
I'm just showing you how you can trip if you walk with your glasses on.
Will you stop this foolishness?
What foolishness would you like to see?
Will you get out of here?
Jesse!
Excuse me, Jesse.
What now?
We're almost ready, Sam.
Oh, fine, fine, fine, fine.
Okay, thank you, sir.
Ahem.
Now, the performers will all go in the theater first, and then you, the audience, will be
admitted.
All right, performers, let us enter in orderly fashion and provide an example of...
You're not allowed to go in the theater! I've got you covered, Sam.
Welcome everyone to Muppet Vision 3D.
At this time, please make sure you have a pair of our 3D glasses.
Go ahead and wave them in the air and say,
Waka waka.
Waka waka.
Please make sure, though, do not put on no 3D glasses
until you're seated inside the theater
and you are told to do so by one of our lab technicians.
Hey, Wal-Mart, what are we going to see in here anyway?
Some of those 3D movies.
Put on your glasses, Edward.
Hey, look.
Look at the guy in the goofy mask!
That's not a mask!
Sorry, lady!
For the comfort and safety of everyone around you, please no flash photography, video lighting, or cell phone usage during the show.
Go ahead and put on those 3D glasses as covered in the game College Reset Muppet Vision 3D. What the fuck is this movie?
You're a true pain in the ass! Yeah, I probably took the job for that hell of a job!
Oh, come on, let's get in! I'm sorry boss. Hi ho, Primity Frog here and welcome to Muppet Vision 3D.
Now let me show you around our research center.
See here in this modern high tech facility.
Hey, careful.
Now here in this modern high tech facility we have perfected Muppet Vision 3D.
A new film processor that we're about to demonstrate.
Now, the working projector is an old-time Mars degree sweetie. Chef, Chef, everything okay?
They're humping, humping, their machining is going, they're floomy floomy.
Exactly. And our demonstration includes a little song from Miss Piggy.
Little?
Did I say little?
I meant to say it's a huge, show-stopping major song
from Miss Piggy.
That's more like it.
Good.
And we've also got a big musical finale from Sam Eagle.
Sam, what's it about?
It's called a salute to all nations, but mostly America.
Great.
So it's going to be a swell demonstration, and at no time will we be stooping to any cheap 3D tricks.
Did you say cheap 3D tricks?
Uh...
Oh, and here's something I wanted to spring on you.
Walmart, it's that dumb bear again.
Hey, bear, you're not even funny in 3D.
Oh, not you guys.
How did you get here?
We entered a contest.
Yeah, we lost.
Oh, yeah?
Well, my new 3DX is going to shower you all with humor.
Waka, waka!
You planned to drown us! But how you act is that...
That's mercy!
It was very federal thanks time, Fozzie.
Okay? And now, if you'll come this way, I can show you our secret laboratory.
You see, we invited distinguished scientists from all over the world to come and work here. Unfortunately, none of them showed up. So instead, I'd like to introduce
you to the guys who invented Muppet Vision, and I can show you some of their...
Right now, I'd like to turn it over to Dr. Bunsen Honeydew and his assistant, Beaker.
Well, thank you, Mr. Kermit. Today, let's look at the advancements we've been working on for Puppet Vision.
Beaker, would you turn on the machine? We at Welcome Labs have been able to grab the phone of the future.
The wheels of progress turn swiftly here as we strike upon ways to bring science safely to use.
This user-friendly machine will now generate the first living 3D effect just by picking a simple switch.
I'm Waldo, the spirit of 3D! Thank you, I'm out of here!
Ooh, cute outfit! Watch this!
Don't you just hate it when your nose runs
out of reach? You know, all these other people think I'm talking to them, but I'm really just talking to you!
Well, I think I'll be just about enough of a wall-door beaker. You may deactivate it.
What? What are you...
Oh dear, he won't deactivate!
Ladies and gentlemen, there's nothing to worry about.
Please keep your heads down.
Beaker, Beaker, activate the inflatomatic.
Hurry, Beaker, hurry.
Great, now I can start my own football team!
Oh!
Oh!
Oh!
Oh!
Hey, girl!
Why don't you try the vacuum weapon?
Yeah!
Yeah!
What?
What?
What?
What?
What?
What?
What?
What?
What?
What?
What?
Ladies and gentlemen,
we are off to the movies
after our best family!
Yeah!
Yeah!
Yeah!
Yeah!
Yeah!
Yeah!
Yeah! Yeah! Yeah! Yeah! Yeah! Yeah! Yeah! Yeah! Yeah! Yeah! I'm a spermling!
Hey hey! I'm free!
Taxi! Alright! Now I'm getting out of this place!
Uh, this is Weevils.
I'm sorry, but, uh,
Puppet Land seems to have been temporarily, uh,
sucked up.
But, uh,
what is that?
Hey, come and see.
It's my new remote control,
Dynamic 3.5.
Ha, ha, ha.
Hey, come and watch, come here. Watch this one!
Ozzy, that's terrible.
You're right. Needs more sugar.
And now, ladies and gentlemen, for the first musical portion of our demonstration,
we have Miss Piggy in a wonderful 3D film.
Uh, uh, at you, Red Rose.
Oh, doesn't that look good?
Yeah, too bad you guys spoiled it for the pig.
Shh! La la la la la la
Ah, sunshine and bright above you
Soft breezes seem to whisper I love you
Yarns singing in the sycamore tree
Beaming into me, oh me
Look in my eyes and it's me No! Come, come!
Look in my eyes and look this way.
Just hold me tight and tell me you miss me.
While I'm only blue as can be.
If I don't bring it on me.
No troubles as like those.
Oh dear.
Still craving a kiss.
Oh, I get it.
Look at all the penguins.
It was going so well.
I will not let this end up like this.
But it was just in 3D.
Guess I'll be needing this.
What's that?
It was for the big water skiing phenomenon.
What?
Me, my friend? What are you doing?
What do you mean?
You are ruining this film.
Well, I was just trying to help. I didn't mean anything.
Don't go away. Don't go away.
Does anybody know the way out of this film?
Hey, you got a map down there?
Well, you can come with me if you like. I just got fired and I'm running away.
Terrific!
Oh. Let's go!
Okay.
Hey, Bean! What's up?
I'm going away. Forever!
Oh, great! Could you get me a sandwich?
Wouldn't any of you people like anything?
Since he's gone out he could forever?
Bean?
Bean?
Oh Kermit!
Kermit!
Hey, sweet him! That's a rare bet!
Thanks, Buzzyie, turn back.
What is it?
Bee-Bunny ran away.
Oh, no.
Yes, sir.
We've got to find him.
I know.
Everybody spread out and look for Bee.
I'll go this way.
Ladies and gentlemen, we'll continue the show in just a moment.
But in the meantime, if you see a rabbit, come over.
Bee.
Bee.
Oh, Bee.
Bee.
Bee. Bee. Bee. Bee. Bee. Hey, Andy! Oh, Ben! Oh, Ben! Oh, Ben! Oh, Ben!
Oh, Ben!
Oh, Ben!
Oh, Ben!
Oh, Ben!
Oh, Ben!
Oh, Ben!
Oh, Ben!
Oh, Ben!
Oh, Ben!
Oh, Ben!
Oh, Ben!
Oh, Ben!
Oh, Ben!
Oh, Ben!
Oh, Ben!
Oh, Ben!
Oh, Ben!
Oh, Ben!
Oh, Ben!
Oh, Ben! Oh, Ben! Oh, And then go, and then go, and then go! Has anybody seen a bunny?
I don't see a bunny.
I don't see a bunny.
Where?
I don't see a bunny.
Where?
I don't see a bunny.
Oh, nothing a player could have won.
A bunny?
Bean!
Hi, sweetheart.
Hey, Kermit, look!
What?
Huh?
Bean, what are you doing down there?
I'm running away.
Nobody would let me help in the movie.
This is a very moving moment.
Yeah, I wish we voted to this bird.
Hey Bean, what are we doing sticking around here?
Let's burn her up!
You guys, he's Waldo, my 3D friend,
and we're both leaving the movie.
What do you mean?
You leave, you'll miss all the fireworks.
Right, yeah.
Fireworks?
Okay, I'll stay.
But I want to help.
Gee, is there anything Bean can do in the final level?
Oh, gosh.
Maybe Bean could set off the fireworks.
That sounds great. Yeah, and I'll stay and help.
Oh, I love fireworks. That sounds great! Yeah, and I'll stay in help. Oh, I love fireworks!
Okay.
Sam, are you about ready?
Yes, it's a glorious three-hour finale.
You've got a minute and a half.
Okay, everybody, get ready.
Ladies and gentlemen,
the Muppets proudly present
the final demonstration of Muppet
Vision 3D. Oh, no! Oh, no! Oh, no!
