Starting point is 00:00:00 Hello Travelers, it's your old friend here, Rick, over on the West Coast at Disneyland giving you a nice little view of Toontown today. Today is the official reopening of Toontown, and so I'm on the walk back here through the edge of Fanny Sand, as you can hear me going past Matterhorn on my right-hand side. And I'm going to let you hear the sounds

Starting point is 00:00:32 and the sights of Toontown. The new version of Toontown. And I can't wait to share this all with you. We're just going to walk back here, let you hear it all. I might occasionally interject just to explain what I'm seeing, but for now, I'm just going to let you enjoy this. I'm walking back towards Small World here, about to take that bend towards Toontown,

Starting point is 00:00:59 right underneath the Toontown Disneyland Railway Station. Hey, the Toontown Hysterical Society is in. It's a very toontastic day here in Disneyland. Listen to that happy music. Wow, look at the crowds. It's definitely back. Wow. I'm almost turned around. It looks so different.

Starting point is 00:02:17 We're bending around the new fountain here. Right in front of El Capitun. Walking on the grass. In the new park. What an energy. Listen to that. Miska muska. Hot dog. It is, but it's not.

Starting point is 00:02:47 You might just want to go to the pool. Taking the bend past the new playground here at Goofy's. What a completely new space. I feel little patches of grass everywhere to chill on. Way more trees than there used to be. The new cast member costumes are really fun and playful. Just love the new look. Everyone looks so happy and bright.

Starting point is 00:03:32 Walking past the line for Pluto here on my right. Can I get a picture of the costume? Oh yeah, of course. Thank you. Thank you so much. Mickey's car is parked out front of his house at the garage. The line for the popcorn? No, no, no. The line for the picnic baskets, right no, no. It's over there. Starting point is 00:04:05 Yeah. I see some familiar faces. All right. No. Just walked past WDW Net News. Look at this little picnic. All the picnic blankets. They're so adorable.

Starting point is 00:04:26 Okay, I might need the picnic blanket. I figured you were going to want that. Look at this actual shade, a place to sit in the grass. This is a much more kind of friendly and warm space now. I know you miss your Chip and Dale. The music you're hearing in the background is for Gadget's Go Coasters line. Looks like that ride really hasn't been changed at all. It's just so's go up in here let's go say hi y'all look good right here baby I'm going to say bye to him. The playground in front of Donald's is really great.

Starting point is 00:06:49 I think we're going to get in line to try to nail the picnic blanket. If I can figure out where the end of it is. um oh I'm going to try to get a photo. Starting point is 00:11:27 All of the non-costume cast members, all the execs, they're all dressed up. They're dressed in period clothing from the 50s.
