Welcome back to Walk About the World and hello travelers from the Magic Kingdom. I just rode the Walt Disney World Railway this morning because how can I not? Oh, it's morning by the way. A very lively Magic Kingdom this morning and we are standing at the confluence of Fantasyland and

Tomorrowland. I just got off the train at the Fantasyland station. The castle is in view standing right next to Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, as you just heard go by. And to the left, as you can probably hear, are the motorcars of the Tomorrowland Speedway. Here comes another crew. Here they come. okay so that ride is fun but it's uh it's a short very short ride for the amount of wait time which is why i normally don't go on it but today's mission is absolutely nothing is exactly what you would expect from us if you've been a listener for very long. We're going to just walk about the Magic Kingdom and see

what we can see with our ears. You ready? Let's go. Ah, the comforting and melodic sound of hundreds of what I'm guessing are propane-powered vehicles. Ha ha ha. Not really, but kind of. Kampung Kampung If you're a frequent visitor, you know where we are. We are standing next to Cosmic Ray's Starlight Cafe and across from Tomorrowland Speedway. Where some of the best Tomorrowland ambience can be found if you can hear it over the motorcars. Let's take in a minute. I'm not sure. I think it's more like basic. Kampung Kampung Leporello Kampung Kampung There are very few places that bring me the same amount of serotonin as this area does, I have to admit. Do you seek out Disney World signs like I do? We're approaching Star Traders, and it's one of my favorites.

I actually don't know if it's the original sign, but it looks like it might be. There's also a sign over here for the Sun Care Center brought to you by Coppertone, which is very much a retro-looking sign. I love both of them. That was random, but that's also what we do. Passing Antigravity's, Antigravity's Galactic Goodies, and also the Merchant of Venus, best store name ever. Tomorrowland. PeopleMover directly above you now. And the

lunching pad straight ahead. The We are seeing the the U-turn is at the four-duty for-rises. Please mind the flight-blast doors. Thank you. I'm going to go ahead and stop here. Right in the middle of Tomorrowland. One of the best ambient speakers right above us. Up near the Astro Orbiter.

People movers surrounding us. It is bustling here today. Thank you. Buzz Lightyear line is booming. Bunch of people going to go defeat Emperor Zerg. Okay, you know what? Strangely, the PeopleMover has no line whatsoever. Let's go do it right now. This is the TTA Blue Line non-stop service. Hello there, Stephen Stanton. Greetings, intergalactic travelers.

Welcome aboard the People Mover, presented by Enhance. I'm Orak V, your guide aboard this highway in the sky, the absolute best way to see Tomorrowland. And my stars, is there ever lots to see. From spacecraft to monster labs, there's really nothing like today in Tomorrowland. For your safety, if you have wings, jet packs, or gravity polarizers, please do not fall on board.

Thank you. The next station is Tomorrowland Urban Planning and Star Traders. Transfer to Green and Red Lines. Don't worry, your express train keeps on rolling through the future. Right by two of my favorite spots. First up, Progress City. Walt Disney's amazing dream for a community of tomorrow. Did you know Progress City is Spider-Tapcock?

And a lot of the visionary ideas throughout Walt Disney World. Look, there's even a tiny people mover. I wonder if that means there's a tiny bull rack. Always love the Progress City model. On your right is Star Traders, home to the greatest goods in the galaxy. Except there's stars. Those are the long ones.

Now approaching Tomorrowland Speedway and Tron Light Cycle Run. I love a good circuit and these are two of the best tracks of the cosmos for a bit of light speed competition i can see the lucky users who are in line to ride tron for the customer for previews i'm jealous attention all visitors from galaxy and 31 please forward-facing tentacles clear of Pisces 7. You H2O it to yourself. Book today! Launching service from Galaxy S-31. Please keep all your facing tentacles clear of oncoming vehicles. Thank you. What was and maybe still is the gift shop for Space Mountain is still under construction. To your right is the Astro Orbiter, our celestial symbol of interplanetary harmony and fellowship.

Hop aboard and launch high above Tomorrowland for a spin amongst the planets. The next station is Walt Disney's Carousel of Progress. As usual, we'll keep moving ahead, and so does the carousel. Like progress itself, this theater never stops, inspiring new generations to dream of a great, big, beautiful tomorrow. I love it. I don't ride it enough. But I do love it. It's been a pleasure to have you aboard. And even though we're concluding, this is always my favorite part because now is the time. Now is the best time to go out and explore tomorrow. Today. See you in the future. I have the need to go to Adventureland.

Let's cut through the castle hub here. There's a stage show going on, as you can tell. I agree. Thank you. I know what it's like when you're here and I can't look away. Hear what I'm saying, make you feel alright. Well, when the evolution of the world comes from the land of the witching lion, I know it's the same as the land of the water. It's great to meet you. Oh, the land of the witching lion. What's that like?

It's a land of dreams, wood cooking, and jazz! Our first love is playing cards with the big boys! Sounds like a swingin' guitar! Make it big, boys! Kampung Kampung Makes you want to do a little soft shoe, doesn't it? Swiss Family Treehouse to your left. Just past the Skipper Canteen restaurant. I know somebody who works in there. I haven't been in a while. I need to revisit it. The spitting camel is spitting. Both of them, actually.

Yes, there are two. One of them spits at the ride. Here's Aloha Isle, and I'm going to investigate. This is indeed the Dole Whip Place. I know, those of you... Those of you who come down here for vacation are probably yelling at me right now. How can you not know these things? I will tell you because... I'm a flea-bitten local that pops in for a couple of hours here and there, and I don't often do a lot of these things. Like, get a Dole Whip. I know, I know. Stop yelling at me. But because of that,

I'm like, is Dole Whip over there? Is Citrus Swirl over there? Yeah, just bear with me. Okay, passing the Tiki Room on the right. Let's head back over towards Pirates. I may actually ride it today. And you may too. I have an unusually stormy evening for February here in Florida, but clouds are boiling here behind the Torre del Cielo. Tower of the Sky?

Correct me if I'm wrong. I think so. We're at Pirates. Let's see what we're up against here. Ah, you hear that? That's my choo-choo. Standby says 25 minutes. Let's give it a shot. Strike your colors, you blooming cockroaches! Surrender, Captain Jack Sparrow, or my thunder will burn the city to the ground! They need a bit of persuasion, they need... Fire in the hole!

Without all four heads, then! It's past my speed. When he's stale, tis only me what's got the goods. Keep still! I'm studying me map! Oh, it's the treasure map for sure and no mistake! Turn 500! Let's scramble and catch fire!

Oh my god! I see a window! A donkey! Oh yeah. Hey, thanks for hanging out with me today. It's been fun. I'm sure you know where we are. Standing right outside the queue for the Tiki Room. That's some really good ambience.
