Hi everyone, welcome back. This is part two of a two-part recap. If you're wondering where part one was, we'll go check in the feed and be sure to subscribe. So that way you always get your episodes. But enough of that, let's get right back into the episode. Wait a second. Ex-Mormon in a Cape Pier is the push and pull because of your lifestyle because you're not Mormon. Would you say that this goes into your experience in surviving Mormonism?
Do you think your mother is upset with you because you're a bad Mormon available now on Kindle or Audible?
Speak it, sister.
So, I think a lot of it.
I love Heather getting in plugs in the middle of Bronwood's sobbing.
Yeah.
She's basically like drawing it all to Mormonism, which is not necessarily wrong, but it's just hilarious that she's like,
this seems like a good opportunity to reassert the fact that Mormonism ruins everything.
And I'm selling it all over the place.
But basically, Brahman's like, yeah, it did kind of feel like she was, you know, she basically says, I love my mother.
We have a good relationship now.
But on TV, it felt like she was kind of signaling to the audience, the fellow Mormons in the audience like, this wasn't my fault.
I was doing all the right things.
She's the one who fucked up, right?
Yeah.
She's, you know, she's saying, yeah, those are our values.
And you went against our values.
And Heather's like, well, is it allegiance to principles of the church or allegiance to her daughter?
Heather, just let her have her own fucking segment.
Can you let anybody just have their own segment?
It's not fucking about you, bro.
So she's like, but, I mean, even, you know, like about me,
it was about pointing it out to the whole world that she never agreed with this.
And she'd never done that before.
And Heather's like, yep, see it all the time.
Chapter 3, 9, 12.
I mean, basically all the odd numbers.
Heather pulls off some sunglasses like David Caruso.
Looks like we've got a case of Mormon trauma.
Dun, dun, don't, don't, don't, dun, dun.
Who are you?
Mormon, Mormon.
Sign this release, please.
So Andy's like, well, you said Todd stepped up and helped support your parents financially.
And what did that entail exactly?
What do you think it entailed?
Paying for them.
Like, I think they get all.
Hookers and blow, Andy.
That's what they entailed.
Well, they have to increase their fig Newton budget.
I mean, of course.
But this is just an opportunity to paint Todd as a sympathetic figure for a man.
moment. So he, and he is, it sounds like he was doing all the right things, you know, he paid for
hospitals. He helped move in Muzzy, the dad, memory care, all that stuff. It was, it was very
lovely. And he stepped up and did all sorts of things. And in Greece, we all saw that he was helping
mussey with a move and all that stuff. And, and Andy is like, well, maybe that was a side of
Todd that none of us had really seen before. Maybe Todd is actually kind of a good guy, right? And
And Bronwyn's like, um, this has been nice.
But before you try to paint Todd as a hero, can we just, um, can we just get to the question?
Like, I have a big announcement to make and we're taking a long time to get to it.
I'm getting kind of impatient.
Can you just ask a different question about Todd?
So thanks so much.
This is funny.
This was funny because he was painting him to be too nice.
And so she stopped him and was like, um, do you have any more questions about Todd?
Can we move on to those?
That would be great.
This is told Todd as a hero thing is really getting old.
So that would be good.
I have long hair now.
So we can move on.
Thank you.
Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm. He's like, okay, I guess I'll move on to the next Todd section.
Do I do have more questions? She goes, well, do you want to start with where we are now?
Or do you want me to start with where we were on the show and work our way forward?
Because I can do this however you want. I've been waiting 18 hours to get this out during shooting.
So it would be great if I could just get my victim storyline out right now. Thank you. We're still on a muzzle wave. Okay.
I love her actively producing Andy.
Okay, well, I want you to tell me where, what do you want to tell me?
me and she goes, oh, well, I don't really know what to say.
Well, that's funny that you just told me what you just got to, you sort of steered the ship over here and now you're acting like you're on a train.
Make up your mind, but you're teeing yourself off.
And then you're like, no, I can't do it.
Oh, for Christ's sake.
Sorry, I thought you'd help me transition out of producer mode into, um, uh, into first chair mode here a little bit.
Okay.
So Todd and I are separated.
Oh, sorry.
His choice.
Did you not accept his brother's original?
No, no.
It was my choice.
Oh, well, what would be the thing that made you say enough is enough?
I mean, have you seen Todd?
I mean, how many Fupas can he really take?
You know, Lisa's talking about two-cafars, but how many nights am I going to try and make out with Walter Mathau, Andy?
You know?
I mean, it's a lot.
It's a lot to take on.
And so this year was hard for me.
And I watched myself in some of those conversations and saying things that I don't think I meant, that gets a double.
And when I was like, if you wanted to be open, of course, I tried.
But I didn't, I don't know if I was really up for that.
And I was like, it's something that I wanted to be up for, but I don't know if it was up for that.
And I don't know.
I talked to Whitney.
And it was just a good conversation.
I thought to myself, wow, am I really in the place where I'm confined?
writing things to Whitney of all people.
I mean, look at her over there.
She's staring at the lights up above our stage.
She's totally lost.
And this is my confidant.
I can't live like this anymore, Andy.
How come I sing that?
See? See?
I was just like,
he was like, you shouldn't be talking to anybody about this,
especially not that ding-dong over there.
I thought he's right.
So he's got to change.
Mm-hmm.
So Heather's just like,
do you think this was to do with Mormonism?
Well, you know,
I just see, you know, things are harder for me and we're at a place where it's not just me forgiving him or understanding him or trying to move forward.
I mean, he's now saying that he doesn't want to talk about it and I can't talk to my friends and I can't share with the public, you know, like I started to feel isolated around the choices that he was making.
I mean, I can't go talk about what a slime ball thought is on national TV and then what am I even doing in this marriage, Andy?
Did he want him, did he want you to quit the show and join the Mormon Tabernac Laquire?
He wanted that for you, right?
He never said that, but I feel like if I had kept doing the show,
then the spotlight on the cracks in our marriage was just going to continue to be magnifying.
And if I can't talk to him, if I can't talk about that to him or to anybody else,
I was like, well, I just have to deal with it.
And when we're not moving forward anymore, we weren't a team anymore,
except for the fact that he took care of my parents while they were both sick and did this all while I was out of town.
And, you know, it was just like PR for, I was just PR for him.
I was just PR for him.
And it no longer felt respectful.
What of ego?
Got one.
No, no, not Puerto Rico, but that's, but in some ways, maybe, yes, I was sort of like a vacation destination and just didn't feel respectful and just really hard to separate that interaction with the Todd this year from the Todd I've known for a decade.
And I think that while we were filming, I don't know, it's like, this is like a dance and I've danced maybe too many times and dance with the stars call me.
I'm available and how I show up to rally around the choices that Todd makes on behalf of Todd is, you know, and not behalf of my.
myself. I don't know. She's just very delicately trying to be like, he's not supporting me on this show.
And I don't like it. Well, yeah, she's, I think, yeah, she's pretty clearly saying, like, I'm on this show. I'm bringing all of our issues to light on the show. And he doesn't want to talk about that shit on the show. And he was getting pissed off because I'm constantly throwing him under the bus on the show. It's like, and from what we saw of Todd, you know, like, I'm no fan of Bronwyn. But listen, I would leave if I was in that marriage. And if the marriage is really like that.
all the time. I mean, there's, you know, two schools of thought, right? Like, is it always like that?
Is Todd just like completely dismissive? Or is Todd like that because he's asked not to talk about
this shit on camera? And the second the cameras are going, she's like, so Todd, let's talk
about the pictures on your phone or whatever. So is it like that he feels like he's getting
thrown under the bus. Whatever it is, he does not want to talk about it on camera. And if she's
going to do this show, then she's going to have to talk about it on. And some of them don't. Some
of them just leave their relationship off the show, but she's like, no, I'm bringing this on the show.
He doesn't want to talk about it.
So, well, she also said that, like, you know, I showed up for him when he had issues in his life
and I was kind of like PR for him.
And he doesn't do the same for me.
Meaning that like when he cheated or this or that, whatever this situation was, she still
went around saying Todd's a great guy and went to work dinners or whatever it was and said everything
is fine and didn't, you know, didn't protect.
And she protected him.
but now when like she's doing her thing he's like I don't want to be part of that and she's like no you got like you got a you got to show up for me now but but yeah this was we all knew this is just not going to work out because she's thriving from the beginning you know this was one of those I think everybody from the beginning was like oh this is one of the people who's going to come onto the show to make her own thing happen to leave her husband I mean I think we all saw it pretty clearly you know Todd I think is Todd has looked like a jerk a lot on the show and especially with the you know the stuff that
that has been brought up about him, like, looking at ladies' lingerie on the plane.
Do I think men do that?
Yeah, of course.
But still not a great look.
Then the stuff about the affair, was there an affair, wasn't there a fair?
We don't know because it was just so Bronwynized last year that we can't, we, our brains were bubbled by the end and we don't really know what happened with that.
But then there's the other side of Todd that's like, raised her kid and like helped her family and like supported her family when they're sick.
And I'm not saying that money replaces all of that.
And I don't think it should.
But it seemed like it was more than money.
Like when he was dropping everything to go move the dad and help the mom and move the mom from the house and stuff.
So I don't know.
There's part of me that kind of feels for Todd.
But also it's where the rest of this keeps going that I'm like, ooh, am I feeling for Todd?
It doesn't mean I'm anti-Bronwin in the whole thing in this particular situation.
But I did kind of feel for Todd.
Did you?
I, no, I don't feel.
No.
He cheated on her.
He cheated on her.
And they knew what they were getting into.
They're intelligent people.
And if this was something you were going to be uncomfortable with,
you just have to, I don't know.
I just,
yeah, I don't know.
My whole thing has always been the whole season and even last season, like, leave him.
Like, I feel like if you're not happy in your relationship,
then you should leave.
And a lot of the behavior we saw from Todd.
I was like, just fucking leave that guy.
I mean, I've said it a million times.
I guess I just kind of felt bad for him in this,
just because of all this stuff.
with her parents. Like, that's all mixed in and his help with that. And then the stuff that she says next,
I was like, ooh. But also, like, it's, it's really lovely that he did that for the parents,
but also, like, that's what you should do anyway. Like, that's, it's like, congratulations.
You did the basic thing. Well, not everybody does. That's true. Not everybody is going to show up for
your parents like that and, like, ride for them and help them and move them and move them into
your house and get them, you know, all the specialized care. I mean, not everyone's going to do that,
you know. But it doesn't mean I have to feel bad for him. I think that's very, you don't have to. I'm
I think that's very nice.
But don't forget, this is a man who shook my brother's seat on a Delta flight recently.
He attacked my family.
He attacked.
That's true.
Fuck Todd.
Down with Todd.
Never mind.
I erased everything I just said.
On an airplane.
He was the,
he Meredith marks my brother as Brittany.
It's time for a commercial.
It's time for a crappence commercial.
So,
anyway,
Bronwyn is basically saying it was like the worst thing was being like,
yeah,
you have to go.
And then there's this whole crazy story that Todd, like he, they were living separately.
And he went and he watched all of the show.
He started season one and he binged the show.
And he called her up and said, well, Bronwyn, Meredith Marks is an icon.
I get it now.
Icon.
Mother.
Antichay's husband is like, right, icon.
Ask her if she'll sign my poster.
So, yeah, apparently this is where I was like, this is where I kind of felt bad because I guess Todd was like, all right, this is your own thing.
I don't want to be involved in this shit.
But if you want to do this housewives thing, fine.
Just leave me out of it.
And then she does it and he doesn't watch it because he's like, it's a bunch of bullshit.
I'm not getting involved in that.
And then he doesn't realize how he's come off in it and how she's been talking about him in it and watched it all and was horrified and calls her sobbing, apparently.
And then he went and mainlined Reddit, which is, ooh.
Oh, don't do that.
When you're feeling low, Reddit is a dangerous place to go to.
Yeah.
Be careful.
He went and read about himself on the Reddit and apparently called her sobbing about it.
And yikes.
Yeah, that's.
So that's when I felt a little bad.
I do feel bad.
That's getting dragged on Reddit is.
Because I've been on there.
Not dragging him.
So I was like, that's me.
probably me. I know. By the way,
did you feel at some point that they were like,
Todd listened to Watch What Crapins?
I was like, oh.
Well, you know, just like someone, it's, I'm sure it's hard enough being on these shows,
taking it, you know, all the hatred that you get from being on these shows.
But having no idea that it's even out there and then just getting it all in what.
It's like two years of just like this, this man is a piece of shit, you know?
But also like that speaks to his, but he earned it. I'm sorry.
Like, I'm sorry. There's something like, the fact that he,
like didn't even watch the show or didn't do his homework or just wasn't paying attention like
I respect that there's a mindset that says I'm saying my bubble I don't care what people have to
say about me I don't care what people on the internet have to say about me or whatever fine
that's that's okay but sometimes there's an element of like this silly show that my wife is on
this trifle this whatever who cares and it's like no these like it's a it's a legit thing and it's
like, wow, people watch this show.
People have thoughts on me.
I'm like, yeah, bro, this isn't some, you know, rinky dink, you know, community production of
guys and dolls, you know.
I mean, although it is Salt Lake City, so it kind of is.
But I get what you're supposed if you, if you wanted to join that.
He's like, yeah, your point stands.
So, Bronwyn's living in Utah.
Todd's in New York.
They're living separately.
And she's not going to see him while she's in New York.
I was like, wow, that's rough.
And Andy...
She's rumored to be dating some haughty.
She's appeared in some pictures with some haughty.
So, yeah, good for her.
That's clean.
So Whitney is crying.
You know, they keep cutting to Whitney and being like,
ah, ah, ah, ah.
And so finally, Andy's like,
okay, Whitney, you're apparently need some attention.
So you're emotional hearing Bronwyn's story.
What are you thinking,
even though I've already asked you about your own marriage,
and you answered like a dingbat.
So go ahead.
And she's like, well,
I just relate so much to Bronwyn.
And it's so hard because I like, I'm going through something hard myself.
And Bronwyn says I know, but the way she looks at Whitney was so funny.
She's like, really, bitch?
She's like, this is my scene.
I have not spoken for two hours.
You just tried this in Meredith's scene.
And when he's like, just, I'm on the reverse.
I'm on the reverse side of Bronwyn.
She's like, no, you're not.
I'm looking right at you.
No, no.
Metaphorically, I'm the one that feels like I always fuck up.
So that's why I'm so.
because I'm like relating because Justin's like the most incredible husband and like he
he puts chocolate syrup on his body for me and he's the most amazing man and I'm the one
fucking up I'm the one who's always getting him fired from his no job and Whitney's like
because I make it this hard it's hard and unless you're in it you don't know it's hard
you understand can I have a minute I got me so Whitney goes off crying Whitney the only person
to walk off during someone else's segment I can't so she goes off and she goes to talk to
Justin. And she's like, Brahmin just told us that her and Todd are separated. And it just triggered me. And I don't know. It's everything we're going through. I felt so bad. I tried to keep it together. And he's like, you're strong, babe. You've got this. We're good. You know, we're good. Right. Stair into my teeth and we're feet after me. We're good. We're good. We'll figure it out when we go to Sturgis this summer. So then back on the stage, and he's like, wow, I don't know what that was about. I wasn't really listening. So, you know, um,
there's a, there's a lot of love between you and Todd, right?
She's like, and a lot of farts.
And I adore him, but I'm worried about him.
I mean, the worst thing for Todd is, you know, when he's watching the show, he's like,
do you ever feel like I never look at you when I talk to you, when you talk to me?
And he said, do you feel like me taking the cherry was this huge thing?
I mean, he was generally confused by it.
And Heather goes, yes, taking the cherry was a huge thing.
That's a massive sign in Mormonism.
You have five seconds before this whole place explodes.
Get out.
Well, he thinks that we have this history where he's shown up for me and loved me and been my friend and been my supporter.
And so who cares if he ate a cherry?
Like, who cares if he didn't look me in the eye in that one conversation?
And he goes, yeah, I mean, it sounds like a normal guy.
Sounds like a normal guy to me.
Everyone also is like, that's such a, he took the cherry.
That's a big deal.
Because we all were like, how dare Todd take that cherry?
But Lisa's like, I mean, like, that's normal guy.
Like, that's what guys do.
It's just like when you're like the cheerleader and he's the quarterback and they take your chair.
And you're like, oh my God, that's so funny.
Oh my God.
And that sounded so much dirtier than I meant it.
Wow.
Mary's like, well, Heather got her cherry taken by like 20 guys in college.
Good time, girl.
Mary's like, I loved it.
I loved that he took the cherry.
I thought it was cute.
And then right afterwards, she was like, don't touch the cherry.
That was my favorite part because the man got to do what the man wanted to do.
It was so adorable.
Well, Mary, Mary, I didn't think that was very cute.
And Heather's like, I didn't think he did it to be funny.
He did it to steal your soul like Mormonism.
Mary's like, well, I don't think he meant me harm.
Meredith's like, well, I mean, maybe if they were in a healthy place,
it would have been a light jump,
and they were stealing so much cherries a big meal.
It's how crazy rotation ended.
Not well.
People stealing cherries.
And he was like, well, if I asked you,
if you felt that the show broke you up,
you would say, well, I'm contractually obligatory.
to say the show did not break us up.
We were going in different paths, and
it put a spotlight on it
and it just
accelerated it, just sort of the way
the farts. We're accelerating
in frequency from Todd's butt.
I'm back. Oh, God. Whitney, are you
okay? Yeah, I'm just relating
to Bronwynn still, because I know
how hard it is to fight for something
that you love so much. Okay,
it's still not your turn. Just sit down. Okay,
so Bronwyn, in your best,
universe, would your future involve Todd?
And she's like, oh, I don't know.
I don't know what to say, Andy.
I just think we got to see what happens from here.
Mm-hmm.
Mm-hmm.
Well, take your time.
Take your time.
Mm-hmm.
All right, Meredith's on a Benzo again.
Well, thank you for sharing tonight.
And, uh, and, you know, there's a lot of strength.
And it's, you know, it's going to work out.
It's, it's going to work out.
I don't think so.
Uh, I told Todd that my phone has a map feature and he said,
you're lying to me. No phone is capable
of that. And I said, Todd, there's a whole
world outside of Palm Pilot. And he said, stop saying
those things. And he cried.
And he stole a cherry for me that I didn't even realize
I had on me. Then he turned his hand into the shape
of a veneer plane and started flying away
Andy. His Palm Pilot. It was terrible.
And Heather goes, good job. You did such
a good job. Bad Mormon. Out now. Parts one, two,
and seven. So we go to
commercial. And when we come back,
And he's like, okay, before I get to questions about Greece, Meredith and Heather, where do you two stand today?
I want to hear Meredith and Heather yell at each other more.
Oh, for Christ's sake.
They're sitting.
All right.
You don't have to interject.
And Heather goes, yeah, I mean, we're not friends.
So, you know, we'll see how that plays out next season.
This reminds me of me and Justin.
I need a moment.
All right.
She's gone.
Well, I mean, Heather's told me three times at this reunion.
so I guess we're not friends.
I mean, I'm hoping for resolve,
and I don't think there can be any resolve
without an apology or just a level of accountability
that we've all had to take
the kind of accountability you take when you leave Mormonism.
And well, exactly, and I'd be happy to talk to
about that you lied or liar comment or whatever.
It was, you lied, that was the comment,
and you just pointed at me,
and you said that I lied, and I didn't lie.
Yeah, I did do that, and I'm sorry I did that.
wasn't actually intended to be in you, and that's why I stumbled with it for so long.
So what actually Meredith is talking about is at the, they're like their tea party thing,
the spilling the tea party that we see a flashback where and where Meredith was pointed at
Heather and at like Brittany or Whitney and said, you are, but then later she was like,
no, I am sorry, Heather. I didn't mean to point at you. I was, my vision's a little blurry today.
I'm seeing a lot of things. I meant to point at Britney. She was a lot of.
there. I take it back. But I don't think
this is Meredith being truthful because
she did mean
Heather. Because Heather and Whitney were saying she was
screaming and yelling on the plane and she said
she wasn't screaming and yelling on the plane so she called
them wires, right?
And they call her out too.
They're like, didn't you point
at three people? And she's like, no,
I pointed at two people. And they're like, that was three.
Well, there were six people there to be fair.
So she's like, well, I meant to say Whitney
and Brittany and Brittany. Well,
why didn't you in the moment correct the fact that you were pointing at the wrong person?
Well, I tried.
I did try to.
And then we see a clip of her doing something.
I don't remember.
And she'd like talk to back.
We see that she talked it back like, oh, I didn't mean you, Heather.
I meant Brittany or whatever.
Yeah.
And so he says, well, it sounds like you pointed three times.
And Brittany goes, she did.
And she goes, well, because Brittany said it, well, she's not a very reliable source.
Well, actually, production just told me in my ear.
Oh, well, they did.
Well, I don't recollect pointing three times, but I didn't mean to point it Heather, and that's the bottom of my.
So you believe I'm a liar like Mormons?
Well, no, I did point you, and I did say it.
But you don't believe that about me.
Well, I didn't at the time, but I don't know.
I have some question marks on some things.
I'll be totally honest, and there's some trust that it has to be rebuilt on both sides.
She's like, oh, amen, girl, amen.
All right.
Brittany, why were you so offended when Meredith was talking?
to her son on Mother's Day.
Well, I mean, I just thought it was rude.
I mean, we all were desperate to talk to our kids.
It was right in the middle and, you know, she was in the hot seat and something that if I had
done, I would have been destroyed, destroyed by everyone.
Since when would anybody be destroyed for their child calling them on Mother's Day?
So bizarre.
And Mary is like, well, did your daughters call you?
And Andy's like, well, was it a big problem for, I'd like that there is no answer.
And Andy's like, was it a big problem for everybody else or just,
Brittany. Not me. I mean, I don't care. Well, I was irritated by it because we were all there on
Mother's Day. It's like when I heard you were kind of losing it over not talking to Brooks. I mean,
I was there on Mother's Day. I wasn't talking to my daughter either. And she's got a Bob.
She's got a Bob. So. That's not why I was losing it. It's because you actually tried to put a
Bob on Brooks scene. He's just a toddler. It's not ready for his Bob. Well, you know what? It's another
issue. And we're not going to go anywhere. Because Andy's like, well, why were you losing it, though?
And she said it's another issue. And Brom was like, well, no.
tell me. I mean, if you, I don't understand.
I mean, tell me, well, you were mad at production.
Just say you were mad at production. And Meredith just goes,
she just shrug nod.
We're like, well, okay.
Well, you want to say it at production.
You're the one who said it. I did not say that.
You know, it's not going to go well.
You know, and when he's like, well, I actually have a big problem with this,
because all day, I've heard you throw production under the bus.
And we see a flashback of Meredith saying that she was like set up
And there was a whole thing that got edited out.
You know, that's what she said?
And so Meredith is like, well, what do you want me to do?
I'm telling the truth.
And they impacted my behavior.
And Mary's like, it's not production, Meredith.
It's not production.
Everyone on this couch, there's a second half to why we were recognized in Us Weekly
will everyone but Brittany?
And there's an entire team behind the scenes.
There are other half.
Yes, for production.
I love that they act like Us Weekly is the preeminent.
literary source in America.
We were recognized by us weekly
because of the heroes behind the camera.
They fight for our country.
They feed our children.
They put water in rivers.
Why are we acting like production
is this innocent group of people
who never fucks you guys over?
Are you fucking kidding?
I love that they're acting like,
oh my God, production,
who only has our best interests at heart.
Really?
then why did they fire half your production team after this season was over?
Because they did, you know, right?
Yes, they fired Lori Gordon.
They fired a bunch of people.
They're like, wow.
They're like, yeah, they're making a lot of changes over there.
So if production was so great, why'd they all get fired everybody?
But this is clearly Whitney's stumping for another season, you know?
Yeah.
And Meredith's like, well, I completely agree, but I can't lie about what I'm upset about
and say it was the phone call when it wasn't.
Well, I've been hearing you all day.
under your breath, throwing production under the bus.
You're a liar, Mary.
Liar, liar, you're lying.
Call me a liar all you want, but you're lying.
And I'm so sick of you throwing our team under the bus
because I've opened up our life because of our team.
And for you to sit here and throw them under the bus
when I am here, perhaps they'll be back next season, maybe.
I don't know, because I love production.
I don't know.
And Mary's crying.
And Andy's like, why are you crying?
Because I don't like that she would talk about protection.
What are you guys doing?
And Brittany's like, I don't like it either.
And I've said something too about it.
Okay, but so far we know that something happened that Meredith was really upset about that wasn't talked about on the show.
And she had to make it about Brooks.
And we also know that this whole thing with Brittany that happened during the season was cut.
And so Meredith had to be pretending to be mad about something else.
So production is obviously steering things and trying to cut things.
and they're also making her look crazy for things that might have looked a little bit more legitimate had she been able to vocalize them on the show.
So I don't know.
And also, how she's weird?
Yeah, it's a whole, it's another Salt Lake City thing where we don't really get any answers.
But the whole thing is a little weird.
Commercials.
Here comes one right now.
Then Whitney goes, when we're at work, it's expected that we're not on our phones.
We're engaged in the conversations.
I'm like, the most iconic moments from the show.
what happened when people have been on their phones.
Lisa Barlow, get my nine lawyers on the phone.
I want to go to the distance.
You know,
so Andy is like,
well,
what's such you off about being on,
on her phone?
Well,
because she was getting out of being in the hot seat.
And so they're mad that,
I mean,
it seemed pretty obvious to us.
She did have a very convenient phone call
with Brooks in the middle of a fight.
Renate,
it's like,
well,
so I couldn't pick it back up
in three to five minutes
after I was done talking to my,
I learned hearing how he was doing
what's awful bad. No, because
then you victimize yourself and make us feel
bad. Like, how are we going to bring
it back up when Meredith's sad?
That's what you do.
Well, I couldn't have been sad if
I just sat and talked to my son, maybe.
Well, there's always some big, grand thing that happens.
And then we can't bring it up, Meredith.
Meredith, what was your reaction when
you saw Whitney, Mary, and Bronwyn
expressed their concerns about your mood swings?
anyone who doesn't remember
this is when they went to lunch in Greece
and suggested they're all terribly worried about
Meredith for not remembering what happened
on the plane suggesting that it's got
to be some kind of substance abuse
problem no matter how they try
and make it sound today. Yeah, Meredith
says that, you know,
she was sad that they felt concerned
but there was no
truth to it. And Andy's like, well, Whitney,
you apologize to Meredith for accusing
or abusing substances, but you later
double down as your own experience with your dad.
as it related to these things.
So why did you apologize if you didn't mean it?
No, I apologize for labeling her that,
but I don't apologize for insinuating her is that.
Liaholic, lie popper.
And Bronwyn's like, well, none of us were saying that you're an addict.
You have mental health struggles, that you're cheating in your marriage.
We were just leading the audience there and they could just go the rest of the way.
And that's it.
But we were actually saying this is what makes me crazy about.
Of course you were.
You guys are such gaslighters.
Just admit what you were doing.
You were completely insinuating that.
And you've done it the whole season.
And Andy's like, well, how do you think it came off on camera?
And Meredith's like, well, they were making accusations.
And Meredith, Mary's like, no, I wasn't.
I was just comparing you to my son who is an addict.
And saying it's the same thing.
And that's why I'm worried for you.
And Bronwyn's like, well, I said very clearly that this is how I have it.
And this is how I feel that, you know, if you're an addict, I don't know.
I didn't say you were an addict.
It's like, well, we don't do things.
We're all different people, okay?
I'm going to tell all 13 of you right here and right now.
I cannot walk a straight line.
That's a big group of people that I'm seeing in front of me.
X, Y, W, B.
Are you saying the alphabet backwards?
Yes, I made it to A.
Thank you.
Thank you.
Ron one's like, well, all we said is we're concerned about you and I didn't make a single
accusation.
I spoke from my own experience.
I'll say what they really have to say is, look, we're not saying you're any of these
things, but we're also saying that we have had experience with people who have acted
in similar ways and we want to make sure that you're, since your behavior reminds us
of that, we want to make sure that you're not going through something like that.
We want to double check because we've also like that.
Yeah, like have to say it with your whole chest.
I mean, you guys have been insinuate, at least Whitney did earlier, kind of, in her half-assed apology, but at least Whitney's done it.
But, I mean, the rest of you, if you're going to make the, if you're going to go on camera and make these accusations and stand by them and say, I said that you're a pill pop.
I think I'm worried about you because you do seem like you're abusing drugs and alcohol.
And if you say you're not, then fine.
But that's what it looks like to me.
Yeah.
But this whole like I've seen it in my life.
It looked like this.
So I'm seeing it in you.
I don't know whether you are or not.
But I have to check in because if I don't check in, I feel like I'm being irresponsible.
And Meredith can be like, I'm not.
But instead, Bromwin does this thing that she always does.
And it's like, I didn't say that.
I didn't do that.
You didn't do it.
Blah, blah, blah.
She starts denying it.
And so Meredith is like, well, you did make an accusation about me.
And she goes, well, what accusation did I make?
What did I mean?
She goes that baby voice.
And she's like, well, that my husband was on a date.
Oh, no.
I said at least two or three times.
I don't know who he was with.
And it's not my place to say, Bromwin, you 100% insinuated that man.
You caught that man.
cheating on her in a restaurant, New York.
Stop it.
And she goes,
and you haven't seen where Todd and I both said,
there's no way that that's what's going on.
But what we both said...
Oh, so were you saying...
You're saying production cut that out.
So you're blaming production
for her not seeing that? Oh, I see.
Okay. So it's okay for you.
But what we both said
is that Todd was out and one of you had seen Todd
that that would have been what was run with.
And I'm so defensive about my marriage. Well,
I mean, that's a fine point to make, but that wasn't the point
you were making. Yeah.
And that's the context of like, I'm concerned and like, you know, here's something that might be going on, which is that I saw Todd with a woman.
It was not like, you know, this is bullshit because I saw Todd with the woman and I don't even think he's cheating.
But I know if Todd, I'm sorry, I saw, I saw what's his face, Seth with a woman.
And I don't even think Seth's cheating.
But I know if Todd were women, then I'd be getting it from all sides.
But that's not what she was saying at all.
At all.
It was not the context of it.
And the Meredith is like, well, I never said anything about Todd, Bronwyn.
I don't even know who the Todd is.
Who's Todd?
I wasn't even listening.
No, but you've said, I'd be by while your bestie has over and over and over again.
And it wasn't a problem that my marriage was talked about until this one talked about your marriage.
Well, this is a different point.
Yeah.
Not a terrible point either, I have to say.
But this is a totally different point than what Bronwyn was bringing up earlier.
It's deflection from what Bronwyn actually did.
Meredith never did that to you and you did that to Meredith, period.
And now you're trying to make it like, oh, Brittany did it.
Yeah, but you did it too.
And you did it after Brittany did it.
So you know how bad it was.
still did it. So
she was like, well, you didn't do it. You didn't stand
up for me with your bestie. And Meredith's like,
well, then I ever contribute to saying anything
about your marriage. And she's like, no,
but you didn't contribute to stopping it.
Oh my God. Then we're all fucking
guilty for forest fires because we didn't
bring out a hose. Well, she's basically saying
you're taking this righteous stand about
marriages, but you didn't take this right to stand
when my marriage was involved. It's only when your marriage
was involved. Well, if Meredith had
had taken a stand against Bronwyn,
having a righteous stand about her marriage,
talked about, then that would have been the same thing.
But this isn't the same thing. Meredith,
Meredith's marriage was attacked two times and she has the right to
take a stand. And the fact that someone's being like, well,
it's fine when someone else does it to me.
Yeah, she didn't do it to you. So
Amy and also, Ron, why didn't you take a stand for Meredith?
Exactly.
Like, Todd was just accused of making out with the girl while farting.
And you don't like that at all. So Meredith is like,
but Meredith is very funny because she's like, well, I didn't
jump in because you're handling it. I mean, why would I speak up in that moment? You made it very
clear that I don't know. The problem's like, you know what, Meredith? Because I thought we were
fucking friends. And that's why. And you want to, you, you want to get into the you and me not being
friends or being friends or I'm just your fucking assistant. Let's get into that. Because I'm sure
that's what's next. Right, Andy, you have that next. Okay, we're going to go there next. All right.
Judy from Judytown asks, what's the situation with you and Meredith? Well, thank you for asking that
because I'm going to answer it right now. You're kind of taking over. That's right. I am taking
you over, Andy, because I'm the host now, all right?
Because, like, you don't think you asked me to do much.
Just report back to you on what all my conversations worth with everyone.
And then just sit there and eat shit when you out me in front of everybody else and then be like, oh, that was off camera.
We can never prove it convenient, Meredith.
So, um, okay.
So Meredith is like, well, I didn't say we didn't have a conversation in my room.
We did.
We just had a disagreement about what was sad.
Meredith, I've gone and I'm going to tell you this honestly, Meredith.
I valued our friendship, like when I suggested that your husband was cheating on you and that you were an alcoholic and then said that you had me to your room and screamed my head off and threaten me with a knife.
And she's like, you know, and I would love for us to be friends.
But today what you are not going to do is you were going to question the statement of bullshit with me.
And we are not going to do it.
And we have gone to come to Meredith or Bronwynne conversation about what happened.
And all of us have to sit here and had hard conversations.
and why are you above it? Sit the fuck down and talk through it with us.
She's having the conversation.
She's calling you a liar for what you're accusing her of in the conversation while you deflect
and lie about what you actually said in the other conversation.
Well, I'm not above it.
Just don't talk to me that way.
Don't talk to me that way.
Oh, I absolutely will.
You talk to me that way when I came to your room, raging and raving that this was all happening.
Oh, so now she was ranting and raving at you and going crazy in the room.
I'm lots and up.
You've just up that story.
Before it was, she asked you what happened at lunch.
And now she was ranting and raging at you and screaming at you.
Okay.
Well, I told you to sit the fuck down.
I never said that you just sit at the fuck down.
No, Meredith, but you scared me into your, into your, into your, into your, into your stink.
You were yelling at me.
You were yelling at me.
I was not yelling.
First of all, there were two people there.
Why would I make a seem that there's two, I'm outnumbered.
You and your sister.
Meredith, it's.
enough. Come on. Okay, Meredith
said she never asked you about the lunch.
And Meredith says, we did have a conversation
about the lunch, but I didn't ask her. You did
ask me, and I didn't want to tell you what happened
at our lunch because that was the lunch that I was
adding your husband for having an affair that he didn't
happen calling you an alcoholic.
Which I think is funny. I mean, we have to remember
that this conversation happened right
after this lunch where Bromwin did all that.
So Bromwin was the one guilty at that
lunch, and then she's coming back and like,
so she doesn't want to tell her what happens at lunch.
So she wakes up and turns it into this big
thing that Meredith was abusing her by trying to get her gossip out.
No, you were talking shit and you didn't want to be caught and now you're deflecting.
So Meredith says, well, I just know, how was your lunch?
You know, I didn't say what was everyone saying.
I didn't ask what anyone said.
I don't care.
I don't care.
That's just like that.
And that's just like that.
And that's what you're not getting.
I don't care, Rowland.
And he's like, Ron, do you feel used by Meredith?
And Meredith, what's your response to her feeling abused by you?
She's like, well, I'm not using you.
And I'm not trying to gain anything.
from you at all. So, well, you didn't gain the upper hand when I said to you that there's
an accusation about you that I feel is a dangerous implication. And you volunteer that to me,
Bronwyn, and you gain the upper hand. I mean, I'm married with my, I'm a icon. I already
have the upper hand. I'm a DJ. And instead of just being prepared to handle that conversation,
you deflected from having to answer that by saying that Whitney, okay, but you, Bronwyn is,
Bronwyn does that too. I mean, Bronwyn is the one who goes and yaps everything that people tell her
confidence constantly. So the fact that she's up here at this like, how dare you, Meredith? I told you
things in confidence and then you use them against me. You do it to everybody on the cast. You've literally
been yelled at by everyone in this cast for doing this to them. I don't get why she's so like,
how dare you saying something that I told you in private? My God. So Bronwyn basically,
like then she's also mad because she's like, well, you put words in my mouth when you talk to Lisa and
Brittany about Brittany and saying, you know, she's mad that basically Bronwyn told Meredith that,
um, what Brittany was throwing up on the boat. And then Meredith told Lisa like, why her land?
Britney was puking everywhere. And he's like, whatever. I just made a joke. It's not a joke.
Those are there people on these couch that who deal with those addictions. Stop it. Stop it.
I have a problem with that. As if you haven't been doing that the whole season, you guys. Come on.
I know. Now it's like, oh, but people who have real problems don't want to hear that.
Yeah, but you guys are the ones who've been doing it.
That's why Meredith did it.
It was like her revenge for you guys doing it to her.
Like, what's confusing?
So Whitney is upset because Meredith would like not engage with any sort of conversation about whether or not she has an issue.
But then she turns around and just tells Lisa, implies to Lisa that Brittany has actually an issue.
Well, yeah, because Brittany implied that she had an issue.
It's like a stupid revenge.
It's like, oh, I have a problem.
Well, I heard she was drunk and throwing up.
I mean, it's fair.
they brought it, Brittany is the one who brought it into evidence.
So she's allowed to counter.
She's allowed to cross.
So Brumann's like, well, she's like, well, this is the problem.
You talk to me off camera or you check me to come to your room and there's no cameras.
Or I see you with your hand over your mouth and the sprinter telling Heather, let's talk.
Or I called you and we weren't filming.
At least I was, at least I was, she wanted to talk to you like whatever.
She's like, no, no, I'd like to jump in.
I've been quiet for too long on this.
She wanted a one-on-one and I didn't want a one-on-one.
I didn't want it because we haven't.
Sisterhood, we are a six on six, sisterhood.
Yeah, but that's not an example of Meredith trying to be shady by telling Heather, I want to speak to you one-on-one.
She wasn't saying, I want to speak to you one-on-one off-camera.
She said, on camera, I want to speak to you one-on-one.
That means I don't want to do it in front of everybody.
And Bronwood's like, how dare you?
This is another example of you trying to manipulate.
So Meredith is like, well, that's 100% true.
I did want to get resolution with Heather.
And every time I tried in the group, everyone was yelling and screaming, and I couldn't.
Well, that feels very convenient to me.
It feels like you can do stuff off camera when it comes up on camera.
You say that's not what I said and that's not what happened and no one can prove it.
Well, Browen in case it didn't land because I feel like we got sidetracked.
I would never want you to feel that I was using you.
I'm not using you.
I'm sorry that it came off that I was and I want to be very clear.
I don't want you to feel that way and I'm sorry.
And to quote your mother's t-shirt, everything's okay.
everything's okay
frazzled cat
so Brahman's like yeah sure I accept the apology
I had my scene I'm done we can wrap this up
so Andy is
Andy asked Angie why she wanted
Stella to write a play and Angie's like well it'd be good
for people to see ourselves out's you know
whatever outside of ourselves
and Andy is like well
Lisa you had you two had an emotional moment
after the play it seems like you too
bigger like sisters but you always come back
like sisters, what's your relationship been like?
Wow, oh my God, Andy.
You know, when I saw Angie at the Us Weekly Shoot, oh my God, what an honor.
What an honor.
Like, I went right off to her and I felt like this.
I could just be like so myself with her and I just like went up to her and I was like,
hey, this really bugs me because I was hanging out with Ben Affleck and I didn't have anyone
to tell it to.
So now I can tell it to you and this doesn't bug me anymore because I can get it off my
chest.
I got to speak to Ben Affleck, Angie.
I just felt like such a soft spot for her in that moment.
You know what?
I love Angie because we have talks, you know?
Like I've told her, like, I love hamburgers.
I love Diet Coke.
I love French fries.
And then she could like turn on me and like hurt my feelings.
And I hurt my feelings.
You know, like I want to resolve and move forward.
But it's like a hamster on a wheel.
It's like a hamster on a wheel who doesn't even know Plague lively.
And I'm just like, I'm dizzy.
I'm dizzy.
So, so Mary is like, well, what did you?
what did you, what did Angie say that you heard that you didn't like?
And Lisa's like, well, she said that I'm running the show and like, and I'm not this and I'm not that and all but I'm like.
Well, sometimes it's hard to be your friend because I feel like your expectations can be unreal because you are not Greek.
It's, it's hard to be your friend because you expect your friends to not go on podcasts and say that you should be fired from the show.
It's really, that's a really huge expectation to have of your friends.
And she's like, yeah, but you know what?
Like, my expectation is like, let's have together, you know?
Like, let's talk about, like, how good our hair and how bad Britney's hair is, you know?
Like, I make a concerted effort to go deeper with you, Angie.
Like, I talk to you about emotional things.
Like, when Wendy's changed its french fries and sensitive things, about, like, when I tried a white chocolate kit cat and it didn't really work for me.
You know, and everything, like, it felt like we talk about God, our kids, Louis, Vatan, your mom,
experiences, you know, real things.
So for me, when we're friends, I just feel like we're really friends.
Like, it's not superficial.
But you talk about superficial, but you sometimes do lead with your stuff and like who you are
and you love things, but you have another side of you that is like very lovable.
And I want to see that more.
Yeah, you say that, I really don't.
I really don't.
Are you saying you don't have another side that's love?
No, no, no.
I'm saying I don't talk about my material things.
Like, for instance, when I was at this party with like Ben and Blake,
and I had this like amazing Chanel bag with me.
I was like, look at me.
I'm lovable.
I'm relatable, right?
I like the Andy's like, you know, you're superficial sometimes.
I mean, I have five porches.
I got like the first one.
So I've had the first force.
So whatever.
So basically Angie's like, look, yeah, you do have like,
you have this wonderful side of you,
but you also get really defensive
because you sort of get wrapped up in the material stuff.
And she goes, but look at our conversations.
The proof is in the pudding.
The pudding that they now sell at Wendy's.
What a great addition to the menu.
I want to move forward with you.
I just don't want to go backwards.
There's no point I'm going backwards.
Oh, it's so tit for a top.
Okay, let's go forward.
Let's go forward.
My little Scorpio.
Oh.
Yeah, so they decide they're going to move forward because we're nearing the end here, people.
So I'm just like, okay, we're back with final thoughts.
I want to close on a positive note.
Let's go around and say, well, we learned this season.
And the answers are bizarre.
Mary's like, it's important to see yourself, put out energy that you want to
receive. And Whitney's like, um, failure is the universe or God redirecting it. You guys are not
supposed to be reading off Instagram like pop psychology like thirst quotes. Like, what are you
reading? Yeah. And Brittany is saying, I just, you know, I've learned to be patient. Good things
will come for people who are patient. Like, what are you patient over? And Angie's, Angie is, you know,
she's learned about acceptance. And Meredith is like, well, I've learned that, um, crazy rich Asians
is a more complicated film that I originally thought of,
and I really owe it another viewing.
If you're going to pop a pill,
do it in the privacy of your own room, I guess.
Jeez.
Did we, I think we didn't,
I think we may have missed the part where,
I think we came back from break,
and there's this, like, little spread of Greek food on the table in front of them,
and Brittany's like,
oh my God, I can't wait to eat.
I've been eyeing those chocolate-covered cherries all night.
And Angie goes, those are olives.
I mean, like one of the...
She thought olives for chocolate cover cherries.
Well, Andy, I don't know if I really learned this, but it really became crystal clear to me that the best moments of my life have been with you guys.
And also the darkest.
Hey, why are you looking at me?
you're spray tan
it's really really dark Lisa
oh okay
it's natural though
the sun loves me
I'm sorry get mad at the sun
well I can give it to all these women
when I say that
I can give it to all these women I really can
I guess I just want to say
how much I truly love
and cherish our friendships
even if you are gaslighting me
but the highs and lows of them
when we have fun we really do have fun
when we love each other we really do
And when we leak to the press, I still love you despite the fact that you're a duplicitous bitch.
That's just who I am.
You know, sometimes I learn that change is negative and it means there's been a failure or an ending or something you did wrong.
And change can be a good thing.
And change has to start with me.
And so I'm changing everybody in my life.
And I'm changing the way I show up some of these friendships.
And I have to change the way I interact with my own mom and maybe Todd.
And I have to be good with Quinn doing the change in her own life.
She's not going to grow out her hair.
She will keep a bob, but other changes are okay.
Okay.
All right.
Lisa, what have you learned?
Um, well, uh, intake.
It's really important.
Intake.
You can't go to a doctor without answering their questions.
Yeah.
When you set up an air conditioner, you can't block that intake.
It's otherwise you don't get the cold air.
Yeah.
If you have French fries, but you don't give them intake, you can't digest them.
All right. Well, for our final toast, we have some baklava here.
Who wants some baklava?
Brittany, it does not mean you've got lava on your back.
Oh, God, I was so worried there for a moment.
Okay.
Well, Mary, it's like, I can't have sugar, Andy.
I'm not going to eat it, but it looks delicious.
So I just want to congratulate all the fat people here for just being so bold.
Go, fat people.
Enjoy your baklava.
So they do a bacclova toast, which then made me want to have bacclova.
Quite frankly, I may have to source some later today.
And that concluded.
I don't know why it made me laugh that Meredith was really enjoying her.
She was like actually eating it and being like,
hmm, well, baclavas.
Who knows?
The layers of phylo are really distinct and delicious.
The ratio of honey and walnuts is really perfect.
Yeah.
So thanks for the season in Salt Lake City.
I think overall a pretty good season.
I got a little frustrated at the evening.
end, but that's kind of natural for me at the end of a season. But I thought, you know,
