Hello and welcome to watch what crap is a podcast about all that crap on Bravo that we just love to talk about.
I am Ben Mandelker and joining me today is the one and only Ronnie Karam.
Hi Ronnie.
How's it going?
Hello. Good.
Happy Monday.
We did it.
We did it.
Happy Monday to you too.
Today we are talking about Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip, Roaring.
20th, which is funny because you know what today is for me?
It's my roaring 25th, 25 years of living in Los Angeles.
It may have been yesterday.
I think it's today.
But today, it's an anniversary 25 years in.
Who would have thought that this is where the journey would take me is sitting here talking about a whole bunch of other women who've been on a journey?
It's wild.
But it's exciting.
The ultimate girl's trip.
Get a jab.
Well, you've been there for, I think, actually, like, pretty much over half of my journey.
So thanks for being here.
Yeah.
Thanks for being part of it.
I got here 22 years ago.
Wow.
It's crazy.
Actually, it's almost my 23rd because I came on my birthday.
That's when I move on my birthday.
It's when I first moved out of my house when I was 18.
I moved to New York.
And I moved to L.A. on my birthday when I was 28.
Wow.
old bitch well when i i will always remember my dad moved me out here and then we stayed we we we like
flew out here to um la i had to sort of like just come out here like spur of the moment because i got a job
as a pa on a tv show andy richter controls the universe for those who remember that show which was
really good and then um so my dad flew me out here and we stayed overnight in a hotel and then the
next day um i moved in with my cousin for a few weeks and he flew
what he flew back to new york and then that first that friday night i went to a johnny rockets on
las yanica and i just was alone and i was just sitting there i was like oh my god i moved to los angeles i'm
just like here in los angeles and i was looking at the traffic going by on las yanoga and in my mind i was
like well it's l a celebrities everywhere and i swear to god i convinced myself that there was like this
there's like a nison maxima that drove by and i'll always remember this i convinced myself that michel fifer was
driving it. I was like, I think that was Michelle Pfeiffer. I was like, wow, there are celebrities
everywhere. And I was like, no, that couldn't have been Michelle Pfeiffer. That car wasn't nice
enough. But I think it was Michelle Pfeiffer. And I was just so convinced that first night.
And, well, then you realized you live in a city where a lot of people look like Michelle
Pfeiffer. That's right. The most gorgeous people in every place move.
Yes. And you just watch them out the diner window.
could have been the fire truck driver you never know who would who would know that five years later the real housewives would then enter our world and 20 years after that we'd be sitting here talking about them actually and as long as I'm waxing poetic I remember I didn't really watch season one season two I sort of like sampled a little bit but I didn't get really into it because the show was so much slower back then it was just like here's some women doing stuff and I tried to get to
get into it. And I remember in 2007, I went to France and Vicki and Tammy
Nickerbocker were on my plan. I've told this story a million times. And it still kills
me that that was like just before I started watching the housewives. And I could have like,
man, I would have, I would have pumped them for so much information back then. It kills me.
Kills me. I took an entire flight to a different continent with Vicki Gunfelson and Tammy
Nickerbocker, uh, could have been great.
Tommy Nickerbocker.
I hope somewhere Tammy Knickerbocker is listening to this being like, that's right.
Still got it.
Well, she is busy.
People still bragging about seeing me on a plane.
She is busy hosting the Great British Bake Off, I believe.
I think I've seen her there the past few years.
Who is it really?
No.
No.
I didn't.
I'm going to have to spell it out.
I was hoping the joke would just...
You do for me, though.
I was hoping the joke would just sort of hang there and be acknowledged and we could all move on.
But, you know, they always say, like, a joke is one you don't have to explain.
But they don't act like to do it.
I started going, I started flipping through all the cast.
Of course, it's normal.
Of course.
You do like, it's not real.
You're like, no reielding.
All right.

Wives Ultimate Girls Trip Season 5, Episode 2.
What do you think of this one?
I thought it was a little bit better.
I definitely had some moments where I laughed.
I still feel like there's too many clips.
Like I understand why they're doing that.
I get it.
Like, this is a celebration in many ways of these things.
I'm like, too many flashbacks as I sat here for 15 minutes.
And then there was this one time I was at a soda fountain.
And I thought that I saw Mariska Harcateate.
But like, the real Ben Duker ultimate Ben trip.
I have always, I know, the ultimate Ben, like,
trip would be, uh, be a hilarious flashback.
Um, I have, I have always been a bit resistant to any show on Bravo that relies too much on the flashbacks.
I think it breaks up the narrative flow.
I think to me it usually signals that they don't have enough content to go forward.
And like, it's fun to see the clips.
But I almost would prefer, and this is just saying in general, if we were going to have like a moment where we like look back at the housewives, I actually would prefer kind of like a full on documentary style like they did when they like they did the, they think for.
Beverly Hills or they did one, they did one for OC at one point.
Oh.
It's almost like how, you know how like SNL?
yeah you know how like correct and you know how like SNL will often have a special on NBC
where they sort of like look back and so you're seeing like lots of clips but you have people
sort of like talking us through whatever I really love that kind of stuff and those are moments
where I love the flashbacks guys those are the mom's right the flashbacks um but I really do
I like that format a lot so like here um you know I thought it was better than episode one I'll say
that long long winded answer what did you think i love it i'm very simple with this one i just love it
i think it's so funny i let's start cracking up from the beginning to the end i like this one better
because i'd like it better than the first one even though i like the first one too but i i thought
they really started to get in their groove pretty quickly on this one and they all got annoyed
with vicky right it's like they were all onto her bullshit already instead of letting her just go and
be Vicky. Like let Vicky be Vicky. I like that they kind of were like, no, you shut the
fuck up. Okay, let's keep having fun. I like seeing a different side of Lisa Barlow because I'm a
Barlow Stan, you know, and she takes a lot of shit. And I do see, I'm usually on her side on the show. I mean,
she can't be such an asshole too, but I'm usually on her side. I feel like they're always poking
at her and starting with her, you know, especially like Whitney and Heather.
They're always acting like they're her friend and then turning it on her and they think it's so hilarious and I don't.
Like I'm like, this isn't fair.
This isn't fair.
So it's kind of nice to see her in a season where she's just like, oh my God, I can't believe.
Like this is so fun.
And I'm not, I'm not crying.
You're being attacked.
Like she's so shocked to be having fun that she cries.
So that's cute.
Like it's nice seeing a different side of all the ladies.
Yeah.
I think it's funny that Vicky does not fit in whatsoever.
And she's sort of in like the Ramona role from the first girl's trip that they did.
And I think that's like very funny.
Ramona just was like annoying to everyone.
She started trouble with everyone.
She just got getting into fights and issues because she's just Ramona being Ramona.
And Vicki's sort of doing that.
I think Vicki's doing it in like a maybe slightly less entertaining because like no one could put their foot in their mouth the way
Ramona Singer can and just like create an awkward moment. But like,
but like he's definitely having those moments. And like,
don't get me wrong. I was definitely laughing in this one. Like I,
I had some full on belly laughs. So I did think it was an improvement over the first
episode, but I just would like fewer flashbacks.
Yeah. Well, let's get into it. It's day two. They're still in Orange County.
And, uh, they meet up and they're going to go to Beverly Hills today. And then we get
Kyle behind a planter crying. I can't. Kyle with the planter.
Yeah. She's like, I got a text from Maurizio. And, you know, he said happy anniversary because this is our 30. I don't know. I can't believe in it. I just feel like it's my fault. You know what I mean? Because like, it is your fault. You ruined everything. You're ruining your life. You betrayed your children. It is. You did everything wrong. You ruined your children's life. How does it feel? You gave up. You gave up on a marriage that was on you, okay?
like that's your fault.
Kyle's like, geez.
I'm cracking up.
Kyle goes, she's like, well, I feel like I'm not like ashamed.
She goes, well, you should be.
She literally is like, and like with her tone is very sympathetic, but her words are like,
you messed up.
You let everyone down.
You let yourself down.
You let your kids down.
You let your family down.
You let your God down.
You are a failure.
But all you can do is is look back.
It's Vicky, which is obnoxious.
but it's anti-Kyle.
So I was just dying laughing how she told her,
because Kyle, of course, is so Kyle about it.
She's like, you know, the thing that really upset to me the most
is that we were just like, everybody loved us, like, as a couple.
We were like a thee couple.
We inspired people.
I mean Canada, others, every day, and I,
and sure we left that success.
Okay, Kyle, okay.
I hated when she was like,
when Kyle did say something along the lines of,
of the thing that hurts me the most
is that like people felt like
you know we made them believe that true love could work out
I'm like I still remember
when I got this enormous box
from the knot dot com
and you open it up and it was like
Kyle and Maricio celebrating 25
years and like you open to the box
and like a little recording went
hi I'm Kyle Richards and we're celebrating
25 years of love and we're going to tell you
how to make it work and it was a whole
like cover spread in their magazine
and they had all these little chachis in that box of like to put up a date and night and everything.
I'm like, you actively were selling your marriage and you were actively going around telling
everyone why you guys had the best marriage out there.
So then when she's like, the worst part is that like we made be like people would come up to us
and be like they believe in us.
I was like, no, you sold them on them.
It's not like people just watched you guys and thought that, you know, you guys are the ones
that I really want to like, I'm watching you guys on TV and now I know I can be just
like you guys.
I'm like, no, you went out of your way to inject your marriage into everyone's lives.
And then I're like, now I feel really bad that people just saw us and were inspired by us.
I got a box because of you guys.
Yeah, there was a box.
I forgot what it was even in that box.
But it was, wasn't it right before?
I felt like it was right before they went through all of this.
It was like a year before.
It was a great box.
We got the box.
And then she was like, yeah, I think I'm in love with the country star.
that I de-empt on Instagram.
I'm out of here or whatever.
I don't know.
Like, for some reason,
just rubbed me the wrong way of her saying,
like, oh my God, we gave hope to so many people.
You know, and I do think that there are people that were like,
oh, wow, Kyle and Marisa are the only good relationship.
But I also felt like she spent a lot of time
talking about how they were the greatest relationship
and, like, pushing it.
And, you know, you don't wind up on the cover of the knot
just by accident.
Like, I don't know.
I just, there was something that I was like,
know, don't, don't be, don't act like you're passive in this story. I don't know why it annoyed me so
much. Well, yeah. I mean, that's your whole brand. And then you're like, no, it's like,
I didn't like, I didn't like, I didn't love the product in the first place. I mean, I didn't hate
their marriage or anything. They were a cute couple and stuff. It's just very, to me,
it's just so Kyle to be like, oh, we're the most inspirational couple in America. And that's what
hurts. I haven't really found a way to brand this new one yet. So.
I'm just really.
Of course, it's a long marriage and you get it, but it's just Kyle crying behind a planter.
I can't.
So I love this.
And she's like, I just feel guilty, you know, like, ashamed?
Like, that's probably the wrong word.
And Vic is like, no, that's the word, ashamed, you know?
Let everybody.
Just, you might as well have just taken your car on the freeway, started driving 90 miles an hour, and pushed all of your children out.
That's basically what you did.
You left your entire family in a hot car.
That's what you did, Kyle.
So enjoy yourself, okay?
Because, you know, you're supposed to grow old together.
You're supposed to, you know, you're supposed to have grandkids.
You're not supposed to cheat on Don.
Vicki says, I just wish someone would have come up to me when I decided to divorce Don 16 years ago to say, stop.
Okay.
Because I was caught in the, like, being on a reality show and traveling and nobody told me, like, shape up Vicky.
Like, this TV life is what is, that you're living is temporary.
I'm like, first of all, I guarantee there were people that said that to you.
I guarantee.
And I guarantee you could not hear them, much as you can't hear many people when they try to give you a gentle note here and there.
Yeah, Vicki ain't going to listen.
And also to say this reality TV life is temporary, I mean, it's longer than most marriages, really.
It's the 20th anniversary.
And I know that Vicky was fired-ish a while ago, but she's still been on here and she's still been, you know, doing the rounds and stuff.
Yeah.
Yeah, she's a friend of girls trips.
And she's been on O.C. She's been a friend of. So this stuff lasts more than most marriages, I think. So don't distribute us career. It's not so temporary. I would say, why get a man? They're so temporary when I could have housewives and be on there for 40 years. Yeah. Now, if Kyle Richards just sent a box that said, celebrating 25 years of being on the housewives, I'd be like, okay, I support it. So Kyle is like, I mean, is it still going to bother me in like 40 or 50 years?
years, Vicky's like, of course it is. It still bothers me to Dom. She's just, but like, I mean,
I would hope it doesn't bother me. She's like, no, it'll bother you for the rest of your life.
You've made a colossal mistake, Kyle Richards. You might as well just throw yourself into this
planter and cover yourself up with dirt because guess what? You've made terrible decisions.
Yeah. Yeah, you know what? 20 years from now, you think it's just going to say 20 years from now,
you're not even going to think about it. It's like 20 years from now when you're older, it's going to be 50
years. Think about that. It's going to be 50 years your anniversary. You fucked up. You didn't. It's
going to bother you. It's going to bother you every day of your life. And she's like, well, I mean, when Vicky,
when I hear Vicky said, you know, that the pain still is with her. I mean, I don't want to turn
into Vicky. Well, you won't. And actually, a great example is everyone else who's on this cast. I mean,
it cuts right to Lou Anne. Talk about someone who's flour since divorced. Honestly, Portia,
Porsche has flourished the most.
And actually, we did see some clips later on in the episode of Portia's when we first met her with What's His Face.
And like, she was a completely different person.
So I say, I don't know you worry.
Well, literally every person on this show has flourished because of divorce.
Like everybody else.
Yeah.
Lisa Barlow hasn't.
You're right.
But I think, isn't it 90% of the other lady?
Oh, yeah.
They show us right here.
They put it on the screen.
Giselle divorced 2009.
She's doing much better.
Her husband was a philanderer.
Lou, I mean, obviously, became an icon after her divorce.
Portia, obviously.
Teresa.
I mean, Teresa's with that guy, but she's still, you know, the eggplant guy, but she's still.
She's remarried, so.
But they've all gone.
She's still doing great.
And at least she's happy.
It's not like with Joe, you know, that was a dick.
Vicki.
Vicki says she's happy.
Well, she doesn't say she's happy, actually.
She's like, I missed Dodd.
Why did I ever divorce, Dodd?
What was I thinking?
Yeah, and then Lisa's still married.
Yeah, but they're all...
Divorce. Do it.
Divorce.
Yeah, that's good for the body.
So then Lisa's like, I'm gonna cry.
It's time for a commercial.
It's time for a crappence commercial.
So then, Giselle's just saying how...
They all know the pain of it and you can, you know, you can get to the other side.
And Luan's like, all right, well, anyone want something to drink?
All you sad sacks over here.
I was like, I need some, like, non-alcoholic champagne.
Okay, guys.
So they test whatever the future holds.
I have some things to talk about, by the way.
This morning, I got a little visitor called Lisa Barlow.
Lisa's like, oh my God, that's like my name also.
That's so funny that there's someone else staying here with my exact.
It was you, you idiot.
Oh, it's another Lisa who has no idea what it's like to live my life.
Does that Lisa also live a very different life than you guys?
So we see a flashback and Lisa was talking with Giselle and is like, so last night when I was driving back with Vicki, Vicki was like really upset.
And so there we go.
Watchback of that.
And Vicki's like, you know what?
She's getting nothing for me.
Guess you know what?
guess what? She's invisible to be, and I know a spot with her now.
She's obviously, I don't need to ruin my life. Why would someone try to start stuff like that?
Why would someone try to ruin our friendship, Tamara?
And, of course, Giselle was the one who started that whole mess, and now Giselle is going to have a confrontation about the mess that Giselle started.
Yes, Giselle, always working.
And most importantly, Lisa reports that Vicky said that Vicki said that Vicki is going to put Gisle in a box.
And box is like a trigger word on Orange County these days.
So those are fighting words.
So Giselle is like, yeah, that was right in a row too, because they did this and then
they did Orange County.
It's just like in a box, in a box, in a box, in a box, in a box.
What on a box, bitch?
Okay, I guess Heather's gonna put me in a box.
So Giselle was like, well, Lisa did tell me that.
And Vicki, I don't know what's going on.
Vicki, you're on the phone, you're on your computer because they're in the
and Dravand, by the way, we forgot to mention.
And Vicky's on her laptop doing insurance work.
And so Giselle's trying to talk to Vicki, and Vicki's, like, not listening.
Because she's like, well, I have a lot.
I have a lot of work to do in the next two hours.
Okay.
So I don't have to do it like when I get there.
Okay, I'm working.
Okay, good job.
Good job.
Vicki, you are at work.
You're on a TV show that you're being paid for.
And as being filmed at the moment, put your fucking computer away.
So rude.
She's so rude.
And Giselle, who's ABG, always be Gazzle in.
She's just like, no, this is your work.
right now.
Lisa told me after last night,
it was loud, but you know, fun.
And you said you put me in a box,
what's up with the box?
And she's like, well, it's,
look, you would try to stir something up
that wasn't there.
And so I'm going to put you over there
because I don't understand why you did that.
And I wasn't prepared right now
because I'm literally in the middle of quoting,
huge clients, huge.
Do you know how many people
could hurt there any in the future?
Do you know how many people could get cancer?
Do you know how many people
whose house could start sliding down a hill?
This is what's important right now.
Well, it's not, it's not a conflict, it's just a conversation, nah.
And Vicki is like, yeah, but it's a conversation, but it's a conversation conflict for me, okay, because you went into a relationship that, you know, I've been at for like 17 years and you put yourself in that place, and like, that was not your spot to do that, okay, I don't even know you, I don't know who you are.
It just says like, it doesn't matter, uh, this is about being accountable owning your shit, ah, okay?
Okay, you know what, I'm working, so you guys fight, okay, I'm out, I'm out, I'm out, I'm out, I'm out, I'm out.
Lisa's like, no, you're not out.
Like, we're still here. Where are you going to go?
You can't go out.
No, out denied.
So, Giselle's like, well, I have several things I could be doing right now.
I work very, very much.
Okay, well.
Name them.
Miam.
It's definitely not in the fashion industry.
So Lisa is like, I don't know why Vicky thanks that were like going to have like a calm like
that moment.
on the Sprintovan,
kill the clubs.
And then like 15 minutes later,
we're done looking at clips of Sprinter vans.
Yeah, so let's like close the laptop kiss and engage.
So what you said to me on the yacht,
I don't even know why you would be upset that I told her that.
Because, Giselle, she didn't tell you that.
You said, how are you with Tamara?
And she said, well, you know, I just,
I get scared because Tamara, you know,
she'll start fights and stuff.
And Giselle took it like,
she doesn't trust you because you are always trying to ruin it.
You know, Giselle makes it, yeah, the Giselle version.
And she's like, well, you know, I don't want her to think I'm talking bad about her or you because I'm not talking bad about you.
Mm-hmm.
And, uh, Giselle's like, but you didn't talk bad about her to Nguyen or so.
And Llan's like, well, just, just that you said, you know, basically the same thing.
That's all I'm saying, cabaret.
So Vicki's like, yeah, you were just saying she could be really mean, girls.
What's the big deal with that?
You said she could be mean.
Well, she can be mean.
And she'll admit she can be mean.
And you know what?
I'm not talking bad about her.
It's who she is.
It's who she is.
Am I going to get mad that people say I'm an amazing insurance person?
No, it's what I'm doing.
It's what I'm doing right now.
I don't appreciate Giselle getting involved.
It's like not her business.
And I've had conversations like that with Tamara in the past.
And I will see a Sala again in the future if it goes sideways.
And now clips of Tamara and Vicki's conversations.
And Giselle did not need to come in.
Okay.
I think I said to Giselle that I wouldn't say to Tamara's face.
And I've told her many times.
So she's like, listen, Tamara Shannon and I, we're all fine.
I shouldn't have said anything to Giselle.
Okay.
And Lisa's like, yeah, I don't think Giselle's the problem.
Okay, we'll give it a minute because she'll start shit with you too.
And Giselle's like, yeah, I'm not the problem.
If I'm in a box, I want the box to be pink.
I want a pink bow on the box.
And Vicky's like, but I never said anything to either of you, all of you, all of you, but like that I wouldn't say to Tamara.
So she is mean, sometimes.
Not all the time.
I mean, I could be mean too.
And then Teresa's like, ah.
Vicky, Vicki, Vicki, Vanky.
After you got done with this, you was mean to me too yesterday.
Ving, bling, bling, pink, pink, pink, pink, pink.
What did I do?
Yeah, I heard things that you were saying, like you were saying that I changed the more.
Like, what?
And that was so funny when they all saw their cut out standing there.
And Vicki's like, I think Teresa's changed the most.
And Trees is like, what?
I didn't even get nothing down on my whole face.
All I did was get my nose, like the tip of my nose, I got an injection.
Then everybody just kind of looks around like, uh.
Teresa, Teresa explains to us.
She goes, see, this is how I am.
Sometimes I have to process things.
Like, it don't hit me in the moment?
Like, you don't say.
You don't say, Teresa.
Things don't hit you in the moment.
Like, Teresa, who's, like, looking like she's forever trying to figure out an eye chart.
Huh?
Huh?
Well, word is that?
From a little...
I loved when Marge said something like...
Teresa, like, she doesn't even know what's going on.
Like, she has to hear something, and then it's like a week, where it spins around, goes
down a roller coaster, go through a tunnel, makes a loop to loop, go to hell, comes back, and then
she'll hear what you said. But it takes like two weeks. What are you going to do? She's a moron.
So, Vicki's like, you're beautiful. It was a compliment. It was a compliment about how you're
beautiful and you used to be ugly. And now you're beautiful. So it was a compliment. Trees is like,
I mean, I think I've aged pretty gracefully. She's like, yeah. No, that was never like, it was never
related like you're uglier. No, no, no, never. Yeah, but then at one point, remember
night? She was yelling like, pay your taxes, pay your taxes. Like, who said that? And she's like,
oh, I wasn't referencing you. It was just, you know, I was referencing someone else on my cast,
but, you know, I don't talk bad about people. So I'm not going to say, bear it, I just met it
to some, another person who's ugly on my cast that doesn't pay their taxes.
Wasn't you, Teresa?
Who is having tax issues?
on Orange County.
Is it Carmela?
I don't know.
I don't know if she was referring to a past person or who knows.
Emily's like,
yeah,
but you say you weren't talking about her,
but you were looking right at her.
Yeah,
I don't want to relive this because, like,
look, I did it already.
It just happened 10 years ago.
Like, I just realized that I was out of prison yesterday.
And Vick is like, okay, okay,
you know what, this is a great clothing store.
Look at this store.
Look at the store.
It's great.
High-end stuff.
Gucci, amazing Valentino.
Oh, my God.
I'm having a Lou,
I'm having a Ramona moment, everyone.
She's so rude, rude.
I love Luan just hating Vicky.
She's like, just not.
It's like, to her, it's all the downside of Ramona
without any of the upside.
It's just a purely downside of Ramona.
And which is a really, that's like,
Ramona is pretty much all downside anyway.
But like I can admit that there are certain elements of Ramona that obviously there's something there that all these women still like about her.
But I literally have the Ramona shirt on today.
I didn't do it on purpose.
I wear it all the time.
It says, we are pop icons.
Icon.
Okay.
Yes.
From that amazing interview she did that at Crappins.
And I've kept this for years and years and years.
So, you know, Ramona's annoying.
but at least Ramona's a terrible human being, but yeah, at least she's funny.
There's something.
A terrible human being.
I do think that there is as awful as Ramona is, as problematic as Ramona is.
I do think there is like something about her, which is what has brought her back over and over again, is that like there is like a weird warmth about her that comes through.
And, well, and she's also, I mean, like, she is probably the biggest, it's not train wreck.
I mean, train wreck, yes, but like, I don't know how you describe Ramona, just someone who puts their foot in their mouth.
Like, no one is to that degree on Bravo.
Like, she is the number one of that.
She's detached in such a way that you're almost like, oh, like, there's something wrong.
You know what I mean?
There's something wrong with Ramona that has not been diagnosed.
We don't know what it is.
I'm not going to sit here and diagnose it or hurt anybody's feelings.
But there's something detached about Romona.
from humanity that you're just kind of like,
you know, you're kind of like,
I don't want to say I feel bad for her,
but there's something where she's just so much
not like a real person or like a regular person
that, I don't know, but Vicky's just a horrid human being.
Yeah, I think that with Ramona,
like we've seen her be very warm to her girlfriends,
as much as she is an underminer of them.
She has moments of like genuine warmth,
I think, where she just doesn't,
I think she sometimes she tries,
She just doesn't know how to get beyond whatever damage she has that causes her to be an awful person.
But like with Vicky, I think that there isn't really that same warmth.
I think she, I think Vicky is just, she's just like just a nasty lady.
Yeah, I don't know.
I would never accuse Ramona of being warm, but I do see what you're saying.
I guess it's humanity.
I don't know.
This is the trouble.
And I see that we're both kind of stuttering on this because this is where you get in trouble on Bravo, is ever trying to make comparisons because they're both horrible.
We personally love making fun of Ramona.
And that's it.
I mean, I think it's just as simple as that.
You know what?
That's it.
Okay.
Sorry.
Yeah.
I don't know.
I think, you know what is?
I don't know.
I also kind of feel like Ramona's smarter than Vicki, believe it or not.
like given the lowered bar between both of them i i don't know like i feel like there's just like
there's more substance with romona than there is with vicky i think i mean vicky obviously
vicky works which i always respect i've always respected that she as annoying as she is about
talking about it but i don't know i think that there's like i can't describe that i get and i think
that luan is picking up on this louan's just like you're just like some like you're just like an empty
or something. Like, Luann just doesn't, has no tolerance for Vicky whatsoever.
Yeah. Well, Teresa's like, well, I don't want to talk about what happened 10 years ago because
I got like anxieties about it, you know? Because like my whole thing is like I don't want to
get reminded of like it's a cross I got to carry, you know, and I've been carrying it for 10 years.
Like, I want to take the cross off already, you know?
Hmm.
So,
Portia says,
is that the only thing
that made you feel
like Vicky was coming for you?
And she's like,
um,
wait,
there was like another thing?
And Jaze was like,
was it about the overrated comment?
Oh,
yeah.
That was the other thing.
Teresa.
Teresa asked to just be dragged along
for every little thing.
What was I going to find about?
Yes.
Here's what you're going to.
gonna fight about. So Vick, he's like, oh, that was yesterday. That was 12 years ago. That was 12 years ago that I said that. And then it's like, but why? Why? Why would you be the most overrated housewife? Why? Okay. Andy asked me a question. And then we see at 2022 BravoCon, which, by the way, is not 12 years ago. And someone asked who is the most overrated and she said, Teresa. So Vick, he's like, at the time you were getting dancing with the stars, prentice, traitors. And I was like, oh, hello.
Why? Why not me? What, what have I not done to be the apprentice? Why?
Of all the people who get to work with Trump, why would they choose me?
I know. Vicki, that's why Vicki's really upset. She's like, you have to be Dancing the Stars.
I was like, Vicki, you can't be on Dancing the Stars. You're in like a knee brace at all times.
Like, you're getting traitors. She wasn't on traitors, but that's okay. And, you know, I don't understand why you're getting these things.
So, Teresa, I didn't remember Teresa being on traitors.
I thought, God, my memory really is worse.
She was on House of Villains.
That's what it was.
So Vicky's like, I don't know, like maybe it came from jealousy.
I mean, I do think Teresa's a little overrated, to be honest.
I always have felt that way.
But I also think Vicky's overrated, too, to be honest.
I do appreciate that Vicky is our number one.
But like, Vicky is kind of, in terms of like providing us with entertaining content and storyline,
Vicky, he stalled out somewhere around like, I don't know, seasons.
in eight or so. So, Vicky is...
You know, I'm a current, I'm an all time, always, I was going to say current, but
I always have been an overrated of Teresa. I think she's just so fucking funny. And she's
one of my favorite kinds of housewives. I just love a dingbat, you know? And Teresa's
mix of like dingbat and rage, you know, her rage flipouts, I just think she's so fucking
funny. She's always made me laugh. And that's really my requirement. That's my only requirement. I never
agree with her. I think she's usually wrong on her seasons, but I always end up standing up for her just because she makes me laugh. So, there you go. I mean, I think that there was a period of time where I really, really disliked Teresa. I was like, I just couldn't stand her. And I felt like she was massively overrated. At this point, I do see that she is, she's like, you know, the god to your housewife. I get all that. But there's sometimes I'm like, well, she's not as amazing as everyone says, but I just make me crazy that Vicki makes it like,
I'm the OG. You wouldn't be here without me. Vicky, you know the original bread sucked.
It wasn't this like white, fluffy gorgeousness that we have now. It was just like grains shoved together.
It was hard. It wasn't fluffy. It wasn't good. You know, bread has improved. And I feel like that with her.
Like maybe you're the original bread. So thank you because I love bread. But bread has really improved.
and I don't want your original medieval chewy shit.
Give me some modern fluffy bread.
So just because you're the OG doesn't make you the best.
You've been approved upon.
Now go away.
A bit of an issue.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
She's like the Model T.
She's the Model V, which had no air conditioning, I'd like to add.
So she basically admits that she was jealous of Teresa and apologizes.
She's like, oh, thank you.
That's all I want it.
So Porosha's like, listen, I have to give my hat off to Vicky because she's a real OG.
She's not dragging out the drama.
She's like, yeah, I said I didn't mean it.
I'm just like, yeah.
And did you take it?
And that's what it was.
It was cool.
I was like, what?
Where's this from?
Like, at least it's like, yeah, I think everybody has this idea.
I thought Teresa's like, right to flip a table all the time.
I'm like, that's because Bravo shows that clip every five seconds.
It's like, oh, hi, nice to see you again.
Cut to Vicky flipping a table.
and we're like not even on the New Jersey franchise.
So,
but she's like,
really not like that at all.
Yeah,
everybody is kind of weirded out
that this was nothing.
They're like, okay.
Teresa really gets over it.
And Lisa says,
yeah, Teresa's just like,
feed me and tell me I'm pretty.
Like it's over.
That's all she needed.
So then we go to Beverly Hills,
and it's the Beverly Hills theme song.
We're here, guys.
Which, by the way,
I think one thing we didn't talk
about last week or this week is the music for this show, which is really fun because the theme song,
every season of Girls Trip has a different unique theme song. Obviously, we'd love the very first one,
House Lives on the Island, Baby. And then the Blue Stone Matter one sort of sounded like succession,
which was kind of fun. The one in Thailand had nothing memorable. I don't remember. You know,
there's something about like between the White Lotus and this one, the Thailand theme songs are flopping a little bit,
although then we ultimately came to really like the
the Thailand White Lotus theme song.
But this one is interesting
because it weaves together all the famous hooks
of all the franchises,
which I really like.
The only thing that bothers me about it is that they play
the Atlanta song when they show Teresa
and they play the New Jersey song
when they show Portia.
And I'm like, was anyone paying attention
to this part of the opening credits?
Did you notice that?
No, I noticed that they were all put together.
but it's kind of jarring hearing all of those go one right into another.
It sounds kind of like a wind chime, you know, where it's just like clanging.
And once you know what it is, you're like, that's pretty.
But when you first hear it, it's like, oh, God, why do people put these on their homes?
Why?
I mean, it's also funny.
I haven't been able to pick out which one's wrong and which one's right.
Well, it's kind of funny to also like, some of them have to be able to pick out.
Some of them have a very distinct sound.
Like the Orange County and the Beverly Hills theme songs are very, very, like, they have more of a melody.
Obviously, Orange County has the do, do, do, do do do do do do.
And then Beverly Hills has that dun dun dun dun dun dun dun dun dun dun dun dun dun.
And then, but for like Atlanta is like, wow bram brimmy.
And then New York is like, and then New York is like not well defined.
Like the original New York theme song was like, do do do do do do and then the rebate.
New York never had a great one.
And then they changed it during the reboot, the first reboot with Carol and Heather and all of them.
Yeah, which was good.
I liked the new one was really good.
But again, it never really had a melody.
It was more just a vibe, right?
And then Potomac, it's so funny, I went back and I, does anyone still listen to this podcast?
Am I just boring everyone right now with the tales of like going back and listening to music?
But the little bit that they included for Potomac was this little violin part in the Potomac theme song that's so small obscure.
Because like Potomac is just like, da-d-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da.
And then...
Potomac's great.
the rhythm in Potomac is.
It's got a good vibe also.
And then for New Jersey,
you hear New Jersey on this one very clearly
because New Jersey, they just go, you just hear
it's like a mandolin, right?
Yes, that is like the typical,
it's like a Disney, it's a Disney ride
that takes place in Italy, you know,
or when you walk into Italy or something.
Yeah, and Salt Lake City, we don't have enough.
I know.
They sort of have it in there.
They actually don't, I feel like they don't pull much melody from Salt Lake City.
They just use it as the end of this as like a, like an ascending sort of sound, like, but I love the Salt Lake City theme song.
Like that one, again, is more vibe than melody, but it's so dramatic.
Like the Salt Lake City theme song is the most dramatic of all of them.
I love it.
Yeah.
Well, I love all those theme songs.
Great musical stuff going on with this show, as usual.
Catch me on the Exploder.
I was just listening to that.
That's a good one.
So we see the ladies get to the Beverly Hilton Hotel.
And of course, Kyle's like, I've spent so much time here over the years.
Oh, I can imagine.
I don't even think I've ever been in here.
I do recognize the, why do I recognize the wallpaper?
The wallpaper is very restaurant and hotel that Luann was arrested coming from.
That leaf wallpaper.
It's like I remember we saw that and I was like, yes, that's in the Beverly Hills Hilton, right?
Yeah, it's iconic to Beverly Hills.
I don't know if that's where it started, but it's like iconically associated with the Beverly Hills Hilton as that sort of like green like Monsterra or I don't know if it's palm fronds or monstera, but it's like green leafy wallpaper in every room.
I almost want a fucking stranger in the wrong room.
This place looks familiar.
I don't know why, girls.
So, yeah, they're just like, oh, this is great.
And then Lisa's like, oh, my God.
Like, is this where the Oscars are?
And the ones like, yes.
It's not.
The Golden Globes.
It used to be.
Maybe.
But the Golden Globes are there for sure.
Oh, you're right.
I'm always thinking of the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion.
They're just staying at the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion.
Yeah.
I was like, Kathy owns this place.
So I should pretty make the here.
Yeah, so Lisa, so they go to their rooms and then we see them all getting to their rooms and all that good stuff.
And Lou just sprawls out on the bed.
It's like, I feel like I'm totally viving Maryland right now, girls.
Don't vibe her too hard if you know what I'm saying.
And then Lisa, sorry, too soon.
Lisa's like, oh my God, I like fully expect you to have a sake right here.
Darling.
So Kyle's like, I don't know if I want all this energy in my house just yet.
So I got them in the hotel that's in my family.
Oh, and then in another room, Kyle's like, look what I do.
I sleep with a pillow between my legs.
Isn't that crazy?
Aren't I wacky?
I can't believe I've made people lose faith in pillows not being in their legs.
The pillow between my legs.
I rise me a beat.
America said you are the best pillow between the legs.
a couple of whatever.
I got everyone loves this.
I'm a hero.
So in the other room,
people are putting on glam,
Kyle's FaceTiming Porsche.
They're going to have a pajama party.
It's a Hollywood gowns,
glitz and giggles party.
But I just want to see this right now.
There's nothing that feels like
Hollywood glamour about this party.
They're like in a small suite.
They're like in like a standard junior suite
with like a little like
gathering like a little couch.
So Kyle's like today,
the truth is today's been just a little bit of an odd day
from me, Portia, because she's Face-Thing Porsche.
And Porsche's like, congratulations on 30 years strong, mother.
She's like, yeah, 30-year strong.
Thanks a lot, Porsche.
I was just thinking tonight would be like a good night
to stay in and relax and just like really get to know each other.
Yeah.
Well, I love small parties for us because we really let our hair down.
Do the clips, small parties.
And we see a lot of, you know,
Ashley Derby twerking.
Men twerking on the SLEs,
SLC girls.
A lot of twerking.
There's a lot of,
a lot of twerking happening.
And then we get
Lou facetiming her new boyfriend,
Michael.
This guy.
Wow.
He's like, hey, baby,
show me your boobies, baby.
Show me your titties.
I want to see your tits.
He's German.
It's pretty hot.
Yeah, let me see the magic.
She's like,
well, I can't.
really do that right now, handsome.
So then,
Giselle, they're gathering a little bit,
and Portia's like, I'm ready to party!
And Lisa's like, oh my God, she leads with Coco and Chanel.
So then Teresa Char, talking about her boobs,
and if she would name them, and I was like,
oh, my God, are you about to get like a boob flashback montage?
But shockingly, we don't.
I can't believe it.
So they're talking about boobs.
And then Lisa's like, and Portia says,
what did you name your boobs, Lisa?
and she's like,
John Barloves.
There's a difference
between an East Coast girl
and a West Coast girl.
On the East Coast,
you wear barely their makeup,
all cute and bony.
But like,
you move to the West Coast
and you go home
and full glam
with a boob job.
Yeah.
My boobs are named Vita and Tequila.
Commercials.
Here comes one right now.
We go back to
Michael.
Oh,
the boyfriend, Luce boyfriend.
And he's like, did you notice how huge the rock
on your finger matches your outfits, baby?
It's like, isn't that true?
Yeah, I have my little Tiffany box over there, stud.
You're such a guy.
We just want to see my boobs.
All right.
I'll show you a little bit.
Take a look there.
Oh, do you have underwear on?
No, of course not.
Prove it.
Oh, well, I can't do that.
Not right now because there's a lot of cameraman in front of me.
Too many guys standing around.
Hey, boys.
No underwear.
on below here cabaret star going commando so then teresa's like hi so what's going on girls i want
i want this look for you ladies like oh good uh so they gather around and we play my favorite game
is this a shwarma is this shwarma is this shorma is this shorma no i think it's cold
i think it's a shakoda it's not what that means is this a kebab or shwarma who is this
So there's an issue because Luan eats, I guess, half of her kebab and then puts it down on Vicki's plate because it's the only plate that's nearby.
And Vicki's like, did you just put that on my plate?
She's like, yes.
But you, was that in your mouth?
Yes.
What else is new?
She's like, but that's on my plate.
She's like, yes.
You should be so lucky having meat from McHap Raystar's mouth.
Yeah.
Wow.
God forbid you swallow some talent.
I am controlling what I put in my body and it's like not going back in my body.
Okay, it's like, well, it's a piece of kebab.
I just had half of it.
Get over it.
Boy, that's it on my plate.
Because I don't have one.
How's that?
Just laughing, watching that.
Guys, I don't like have cooties or anything.
And Vicki is so grossed out by the fact that Luam put a half eaten kebab on her plate.
I think it's like, that's not a terrible point for Vicki.
Well, at first I thought it was like it was chewed on and then spat out.
I think it's just that like Luann had nod on some of the kebab.
She took like a bite of,
she took a bite of half of one of the little squares and then put the rest at the other little half.
I mean, she did.
It was, it was gross.
And it was funny because Luann was just in the, in the van or whatever going, God, Vicky's so rude.
She's just so rude.
And then the next scene, she's like, whops it right down on Bickie's playing meat cube.
And Vicki's like, do you gag?
Do you have a strong gag reflex?
Oh, absolutely, absolutely.
Cue the Vicky gagging.
I'm no gee of gagging.
And we see a lot of clips of that.
So 30 minutes later,
Giselle's like, Vicky, you don't suck penis.
She's like, what are you talking about?
Cause like, I'm, she's talking about food.
She's like, I never said that I did that.
Oh my God, you guys, stop.
They're like, you need to loosen up, bitch.
Vicki's like, no, I'm good.
I'm perfect.
I'm perfect.
God made me perfect.
Well, Luen, you did make a strong suggestion in the splinter
that Vicky gets some penis.
Vicky, get some dick.
And so we see a flashback of Lujan saying that Vicki needs some dick.
Yeah, she needs to have a good time, possibly have some sex, girls.
Vick's like, I'm in a relationship, a committed relationship.
You don't have sex and committed relationships.
Kyle's like, what does that mean?
Give some penis.
How would she give some penis?
No, get some penis.
Jeez, Kyle, come on.
I mean, even though you have a man, are your orgasms that good?
Come on.
I don't think I had to talk to you about that right now.
Well, you're in a pajama party with girls and one cap-ray icon.
If you can't talk to girls about orgasms, who can you talk to them about?
The mailman, the person at the deli?
Well, I mean, I do talk to them about that.
But who would you talk to them?
I'll talk to them.
I'll have orgasms with them.
But hey.
But why aren't you talking about your own orgasms?
That's just, oh, I'll tell you.
Where do you want me to start?
I've got the best orgasms.
I've got no problem.
problem with I just had an orgasm right now. I had a half a kebab orgasm. It's amazing.
Listen, in the sprinter van, you're on that computer doing, what's that concept?
Work. Yes, whatever the W word is. She's like, yes, I was because that work. Well, guess what? You have to
work, work, work, work, work, work, work, work, work, work, work, work, work, work, so much to make a song
of that. And Boris was just like, well, I bet if one of us had filled out that damn clipboard,
she would have talked to us, and if one of us had just said, hey, I sign up, you would have
turn over and be like, hey, what's your date of birth?
All right, let's see what happens, because I filled out the farm.
Because like, you filled out the farm.
Email us to my office.
Email us to my, we'll take care of it tomorrow.
Portia's like, is she trying to kill us?
Well, I mean, are you just trying to insure?
Like, wait for us to die so you can have us insured.
And Portia calls it because she's like,
I think for Vicki, this is our love language.
Clients.
That's true.
Because when Lisa says, I filled out the form, because
Vicki is in the middle of being like, I don't want to talk about orgasms.
I don't want to talk about it.
It's she whips around with a smile, being like, you filled it out?
You filled out the form?
Finally, we got her to have an orgasm.
So, all right, here we are in a very iconic place.
It's like, lay down your hair, girl.
And if you must, you can steal mine.
Like, Bethany.
I'm happy.
I'm happy.
Look, I'm good.
I'm good.
It's me.
Vicky.
This is a Vicky smile.
Okay, I'm good. You're not very convincing. Well, you're kind of cutting me down. I don't like being cut down like that. I'm not cutting you down. Jesus Christ. You dumb hooker. I'm very defensive right now. Don't be defensive. Well, I'm telling you I'm defensive right now because you're telling me I'm controlling and I'm not controlling. I want you to not tell me I'm controlling and I want you to do it right there and I want you to do it with your chicken on your plate.
I don't think you're controlling. I know you're controlling. Well, you don't know me. Well, maybe I know you better than you know yourself. Like, no, you don't know me. And just else.
I was like, but when, what makes you think you know her better than anyone else?
And Vicki's like, yeah, it's been 24 hours.
How about you lay off me for a minute and just have fun?
So, Trees is like, he's so bothered by Louaam, but frankly, it's like hilarious.
Like, she has, like, a lot of angry growls.
Like, I wonder if she doesn't embed, you know?
Like, grouse.
You know, angry grows, right?
Well, I'm like a scanner.
That's how I know people.
I know you.
I scanned you.
You know what?
you're putting yourself on a pedestal.
I'm not putting off myself on a pedestal.
It's a stage.
And I'm not judging you.
You're just an asshole.
So everybody's like,
You don't work in an office.
I do resent that you compare yourself to a scanner.
Okay, that's reserved for my world.
So please don't do that.
So Carl's like, you guys are just opposite.
Okay.
So don't worry about it.
Well, just relax.
Relax where you are.
She's like, tell me what to do.
Stop, tell me what you do.
Kyle's like, oh my God.
I mean, I just feel like there's,
like no point in giving these women any advice, which is too bad because having been married for
25 years and celebrated that before I got divorced, I have a lot of advice to give. So Kyle says,
guys, it's only day two. I would like to remind you, we're only day two. Isn't this a crazy
show that we're filming for America? Only day two, and there's been all this drama already.
So they're still kind of going on about this. And then Portia knocked something over with her
butt, sucks like a dish down with her butt, and spill something on the rug. And then Luann goes,
well, don't worry. It's synthetic. It'll dry quickly. Just my sister's hotel, Luan.
And then it cuts into like this, like, hey, let's learn how to strip teas and dance and twerk and
everything. So Portia starts showing things. And she's like, you do this, you do a whiff, do it whiff,
and then a whiff, and then a whiff. And like, whiff, that's crazy. And then Kyle's like, oh, my God,
Let me see what I can do.
So Kyle's now dancing and Kyle's doing the splits and Kyle's shaking her butt.
And then Lisa's like, this is how I do a split.
And she does her split and everyone's dancing.
And it's like fun times.
Yeah, it's fun girl.
Girl dancing and twerking times.
Portia's whiff is because she puts her butt in someone's face and then goes, whiff.
That's where the whiff is.
Like, uh, no.
So Kyle just does the splits.
And then the real housewifts.
Yeah.
And then they're trying to get Vicky to sexy dance.
And of course, she won't do it.
Carl's, Carl's like, guys, it's Vicki's time.
We're going to get, we're going to talk dirty to Vicky.
We want insurance.
We want to buy insurance, Vicki.
Yeah, you're gorgeous.
Slide batch, slide.
Yeah, come on.
We're going to fill out that form.
We're going to, like, fill out that form, Vicki.
We're all pre-approved.
Just like, stop it.
Stop it.
It is very sexy language that you're saying.
But stop it.
You're not going to make me dance.
I'm not going to dance.
I all crack up and Lisa, this is where Lisa's like, you know, I've had so much fun tonight.
I haven't laughed this on his head's a look. Hold on, could you guys open the windows?
It's a lot.
A la.
This just starts crying because she's not used to having fun with housewives.
And she says, you know, like, normally we get together and I'm ready to have fun,
but then you're going to laugh and then somebody wrecked it and it's usually at my expense.
And then we see clip after clip of them coming for Lisa.
And she's like, this is why you're supposed to have girlfriends.
So Portia is like, yeah, because before I even began my housewife, I don't know if I told you,
but I was actually a housewife and that business is prior to getting married.
And I sold them and like, why to be, I just wanted to be wanted, what he wanted.
And like, you know, I watched you guys on TV and it was like amazing.
And then you guys came along in this show and then like to be part of her is amazing.
And we also see clips here of Porsche when she was married to Cordell.
And she's like, Cordell wouldn't want me to do this.
I can't see the strippers.
Cordell, Cordell, Cordell.
So she's like, yeah, you guys led the way.
And, yeah, so she's just great.
Yeah, so now the next day.
Yes, she's like, you guys were also inspiring to me.
Well, not you, Lisa, because you weren't on TV yet.
She's like, yeah, I was no.
I was no.
But, you know, I inspire you now, right?
right? Right?
Spiring children everywhere I go.
You know, the other day, I just passed a kindergartner, and I saw one of the little girls drinking tequila.
And I thought, you know what? I'm doing my job. I'm doing my job.
Leading the way. So now everyone's getting ready the next day. And Porsche calls her mom.
And she's like, oh, my God, it's been three days. This is so much. And then Kyle's FaceTiming with Sutton, who's wearing, and Kyle's wearing.
wearing like that infrared mask and something's like,
you look like a monster.
I'll start calling you Vera.
Kyle's like, yeah, well, what are you doing?
She's like, well, I'm finishing up little details
in my house for all you people to come over.
And I'm gonna wear couture.
But it's gonna be an ugly leather pants party
in honor of Crystal of all people.
Yeah, well, in honor of the Seton's,
one of Seton's most famous lines,
So now, Giselle and Lisa are talking about, you know, everybody's putting on their ugly leather pants, basically.
So then we go over to Sutton's house and she's with Nick, her party planner guy.
That guy really has done a lot of parties on this channel.
A lot.
A lot.
Yeah, he's good around.
Crystal comes over and she's wearing the same leather pants outfit that she called out for, which I love.
And her and Crystal are getting along still.
And Sutton's like, what are we doing to flashback?
Are you kidding?
me the same exact ugly leather pants outfit.
Crystal's like, yeah, I put it on this morning.
And I was like, gosh, it's kind of ugly.
It is sort of wild.
I mean, of all the Beverly Hills Housewives that they brought back, they brought
back Crystal.
But I actually, I really do think it's because Crystal has been like, her profile has
really risen in the past like two years because she's been like, all of some people are like,
wait a second.
Crystal's actually not like quiet.
she's like very very very very very chatty and now i think i i do isn't there a talk that she's
gonna be like a friend of this season on beverly hills is that what they say oh i don't know
i thought that's what i think that's what the rumor mill is that crystal might be back in the mix
yeah uh so then uh kyle's like oh it's so weird to be at lunch and it's setting it's and i feel
like i can exhale and uh you know setting is greeting everybody and this is a very
fancy party
You know, there's like servers and butlers and Sutton.
Yeah.
And Vicky is telling us, before the luncheon starts, they're all like mingling, I think, in the backyard.
And Vicki's talking to Crystal, having a little conversation, et cetera.
And Vicki tells us, I didn't know Sutton prior to this.
But like, for her honoring me, it was really special.
And like, I really appreciate it because we see Crystal saying like, wow, Vicky, you're the one who started.
Like, we wouldn't have been here if it hadn't been for you.
And Vicki's like, wow, that was so nice of Sutton to say.
And they're like, that was Crystal.
Well, I don't know who Crystal was.
It's like, ding, not Sutton.
Yeah, I really appreciate it because, you know, it's true.
You know, if it wasn't for me, I like Bore season one too.
You know, there would have been there with the franchises.
Yeah, but what made this show really popular?
What truly made this show great?
Jersey and Atlanta.
Atlanta probably more than Jersey
I think Atlanta
Vicky New York
I think started to change the
I think Tamara was the first big thing that happened
Like you have to admit
Tamara came on and she's like they're like
We're going to make this show
Well she was season three right
Right so Tamara comes along
New York comes along after that
And New York is really good out of the box
Like out of the gate out of the box
It's like whoa New York's really good
And then Atlanta comes
And then that's the moment it's like
Just like a thing
And then by that point
Jersey, you know, the table flip.
Now it's just like everything's locked in.
So, Vicky is like,
yeah, by the way, the funny, like, ongoing thing
with this show is how little they listen to each other
and pay attention to each other. So as
evidence by Vicky thinking that Crystal is Sutton,
as evidenced by like half the things that the WAN
says, you know, all the time, including later
this episode, they're just also
self-involved. Yeah.
So, um,
there are place cards because this is a Sutton part.
So there's going to be a place card and Luann sees that she's next to Vicky and she's like,
I'm moving my card.
I'm not sitting next to Vicky.
Okay, I need a break.
I need a break.
I mean, God forbid, what if I eat something and put it down on the wrong plate?
So servers are coming out and they are serving food and just,
Giselle's like, what kind of fish is this?
And it's sea bass.
So Luana's like, oh, sheik's a love eat.
That's a reference to one of my.
iconic hits made it to number 50 in the top 500 songs that are below the first 500 songs of
America. Thank you. Thank you, everyone. There's like violins and butlers and everyone's like,
wow, this is a little fan. Yeah, Orange County, like we just deliver our own lunch to our guests.
Like, we don't have, we don't have weight service for Christ's sake. I can't even tell you these
people to get a job. They all have them.
I guess she has not been in Heather DeBrow's house recently.
So Sutton's like, okay, ladies.
So you started in Orange County.
What was the highlight?
Just kidding.
There is no highlight in Orange County.
But I guess humor me.
And so Vicki's like, well, there was a boat.
There was a boat.
It was hilarious.
And there were all these pictures of these women when they looked much better 15 years ago,
including Teresa, who looks worse now.
She's changed the most.
What, did I say that part out, lad?
Whoops, sorry.
We went to a place called Quiet Storm, Ma.
It's a quiet woman.
And Dickie's like, yeah, we were all reliving what happened 20 years ago.
And we were at the Quiet Woman, and we played Belko, and I got mad at Crutched.
It was hilarious.
It's iconic.
It's iconic.
It's already going around in the clips.
Yes.
And she did a shrine for Slade, who told Vicky that she looked like Porky Pig.
I was like, oh, you made it work.
A porky pet.
Yeah, it was Miss Piggy.
I was like, yeah, it's Miss Piggy.
Oh, God, you're making this worse than it already was.
And Porsche, I guess.
Well, we ought to you look like some kind of animal.
Don't worry about it.
I was a Muppet.
I was not a real pig.
I was a Muppet doll.
By the way, Miss Piggy is beautiful.
Of course.
I don't like all this.
It's always bugged me ever since this season.
And it's like Miss Piggy's slander.
You know, I get why someone wouldn't want to be called Miss Piggy.
But imagine how you feel if you're Miss Piggy that everyone's fighting.
Like, oh, God, that's the worst thing.
How could anyone...
Miss Piggy is the most glamorous fucking thing on that show, you know?
Yeah.
She's beautiful.
She definitely is.
She definitely is.
We look...
Totally more than...
What's that one?
I always forget, there was this one...
Never mind.
There's one Muppet that's really the anti-Miss Piggy.
I mean, you could say
Oscar the Grouch, but
does he count as a Muppet?
The anti-Miss Biggie?
I don't know, but I also love Janice.
Love Janice.
Love Janice.
There's that one,
there's that one
Muppet. It's like sort of snuffalo off against
Jason.
The big crazy, the big crazy
Muppet. Animal?
Bha!
Animal lines are all.
Bha!
And that's kind of like Vicky, who has the growl thing.
I don't know.
I'll find out the name.
Don't worry, everyone.
Don't bang her steering wheel.
I'll get the name and you got it.
So they're catching her up on, well, they're fighting about the, not fighting, but they're
talking about this Muppet thing.
And Jocelyn's like, and then Luann broke the picture frame and we had Shannon, Tamara, drama,
and we're all going to leave that no see now.
Wow.
And Vicki's like, yeah, because Shed is stole her bad, basically.
Yeah, so it turns out that
We saw Phil from Bel Air on Orange's right
Yeah, Orange County, I think last season actually
I think like...
I'm Phil from Bel Air!
Hello, nice to meet you.
I'm just a fun-loving single man
who loves to date the ladies.
I hope you don't mind traveling to Bel Air.
And because like wasn't Phil, didn't Phil like pop up on like a bowling night or something?
Like there were like two guys from- No, he was at the first party.
Do you remember when they went to that first party and Shannon got into it?
And then she was eating her food.
She's like, oh, well, I guess I'll finish my taco.
Like really, whatever.
Or they were like, you left your taco.
Yeah, she brought like two of the guys and Phil was one of them.
And I thought, oh, that's nice.
but now it turns out that Shannon canoodled with Phil and they shared a kiss.
At least that's according to Giselle.
She's like, she did end up kissing my men, but that's a whole other story.
No, you need to stop.
I would never kiss.
I was deeply committed to Earl the Pearl.
What are you talking about?
This is ridiculous.
It's ridiculous.
It's ridiculous.
Yeah, wasn't that when Shannon was like, well, you know, I did meet very, very,
nice man like Phil from Love Hotel, but they just don't want to be intimate with me.
So, well, I guess that's done, but at least he got a taco at the party.
Well, Kyle turns the tables on Giselle, surprisingly.
She goes, yeah, but like, um, weren't you the one who, because Giselle is saying how
Shannon violated Girl Code by going after Phil.
She's like, I mean, I saw Maricio, Kyle.
And I immediately texted you, I know what I mean?
Nah.
And Kyle's like, yeah.
And then you said you would have laid horizontal with him.
I just found that out last night because then we see flashback to Potomac when there are Kimisabes.
And Maricio was there.
Giselle is saying how if she weren't married or if she, if Marisa weren't married to Kyle or had that, that history, she would like to get to know Maricio horizontally.
Yeah.
And Teresa's like, wait, wait, can you guys explain how much?
horizontal? What's that? Cause like, hold on. Your phone goes vertical. Okay, Teresa,
pretend you're still in jail and tilt your head. I love Teresa still like, still like trying to
grasp certain basic concepts of direction and like certain simple things.
What's horizontal?
So like it verticals like that.
What?
Horizontal like that?
So what does that mean?
Like 69 in or something?
They're like, sure.
Yes.
Sure.
So.
So Lisa's like, oh my God, Gisal's in the hot seat.
And Giselle's like, oh my God.
Why do I have read on?
So Portia and I did chat with him.
And I'm like, don't bring me into it.
Just like, no, I just, we joked about Maricio in the past and I was rehashing that joke because that's you and I have discussed in the past.
And, uh, yeah, my bad.
Uh, I apologize to the joke.
I mean, it's Maricio.
Everybody wants to fuck Maricio.
Why?
I don't really know.
Probably the $150 million or whatever he's worth has something to do with it at this point.
But Maricio was voted like the sexiest housewife back, or the house husband back in the day.
So.
Yeah.
Mm-hmm.
So yeah.
We have to revisit.
We have to revisit that list.
Yeah.
Who is that, who is on that list?
I don't know, but like, I think it's time to revisit it.
I would love to think about who was, who's number one now, nowadays.
That's a reason.
I have to think about that.
Well, Joellen's husband's pretty hot.
Yeah, he probably is up there.
He's definitely up there.
Gertie's husband's really hot.
Let's see.
Mm-hmm.
There's a lot of cute husbands, but not as many as you would think, actually.
Not as many.
I'm trying to go through the hot Rolodex in my head.
I know.
I'm like trying to think.
Like there was always, there was Donnie Edwards.
He was really hot.
And there was Lydia's husband who was kind of hot.
Dico.
I mean, come on.
Dico's basically walking boner town for sure.
No ball in house.
So then.
They get a dessert, and the desserts are tiny little mice.
They're like a little mouse.
And Kyle's like, oh, my God, I know what this is about.
Let the mouse go.
Thank you, Kyle.
What's horizontal?
So I guess it's a scavenger hunt.
Yeah, so it's a game.
It's called Let the Mouse Go.
So you're going to have little clues and you follow the clues.
and then eventually there's going to be a cage, okay?
Then you're going to go to the cage and then you're going to let the mask go.
It's my favorite line.
These instructions are too long.
Just hand them cards and let them go.
Nobody isn't going to know how to do this anyway.
Yes.
So then we just see a big old scavenger hunt, which is like, you know, going through all the great memories.
And it's all going to lead towards $25,000 sunglasses.
So look at Dana, Dana Pam, making her way into the girls.
trip via reference.
This clip was great, too.
25,000. Did you guys know, these glasses?
25,000. Yeah, these glasses are $25,000.
Do you like them?
I was impressed that they included an e-sig as one of the things they had to find.
I thought Kyle would not be, would not be down for that.
And I was just waiting for a slut pig reference, but that, that never happened.
Yeah.
So they're all impressed because that's a huge, do you think they're really 25,
Knowing Sutton, they probably are $25,000, but damn.
I don't think so.
I don't think so.
So they go through this for a while and they just keep finding stuff.
It's a fun trip down memory lane as we see all the clips.
Jimmy the Curtis holding up a wind chime and Doreet St.
that is the chicest wind chime I have ever seen, et cetera, et cetera.
Yeah.
And Crystal wins.
So richest person wins the 25,000 sunglasses.
And there is an actual mouse in a cage out there that they have to let go.
It's probably like Ava or something.
I thought it was going to be like some amazing cameo.
Like the mouse was going to like pull off the mask and it'd be like Lisa Vanderpomp.
Or someone we just were like, what?
I can't.
Oh, Kim, Richard.
You saw my rat cage.
Carlton Gepia would have been amazing.
Oh, my goddamn rack.
Yeah, Carl, too.
That would have been a joy.
But that's pretty cute.
Yeah.
It was pretty much it, right?
It ends with the tease for next week, which is going to be a white party at Kyle's Place.
And that looks like where we're going to get a big collection of women.
It looks like we're going to get Beverly Hills women, but also Salt Lake City women.
Because this girl's trip is not going to Salt Lake Cities.
they obviously are flying them down because, you know, the Salt Lake City women, they love a regional flight.
And so they're coming into Beverly Hills for this party.
And we'll see what goes.
And we just see little clips of drama happening with Whitney and Giselle.
And then Erica, Luanne, she goes, Kyle says, have you said hi to Luann yet?
And Erica goes, how are you?
She's like, oh, good. How are you?
Good, thank you.
And she walks away.
America goes, he fucking
kidding me.
My theory is correct.
She's a bitch.
It's just a shame that two women
with such strong voices
can't come together
and make a great song.
I mean, if Mariah Whitney
could have done it.
Well, two off keys don't make...
Sorry, what we were saying.
Two off keys don't make a harmony, I guess.
A flat and a flat.
Just keeps it flat.
Yeah, double flat.
