Starting point is 00:02:57 So excited to go back to some cities we haven't been to in a little bit and revisit those where we've made friends with all of y'all on the road all this time. So that is the sketch. How excited are you, Ronnie? I'm excited. Yeah, it's a lot of a lot of shows. I know. It's a lot. As I was reading it, I was like, I kept on lilting my voice.
Starting point is 00:03:19 up like and the grand finale i was like no we got more it's so exciting it like you hadn't seen it before which i really loved like whoa charleston i was i was acting like i know but i kind of was there's something about like reading it out loud where you sort of realize the like wow we're going back to charleston that's crazy like you know like you know we knew now we know yeah you're right i mean hearing you read it out loud i'm i definitely thought about halfway through that oh shit shit we agree to all this i'm i'm tired i know next every year we're like next year we're just going to do 12 cities now here we are 21 21 cities or so again it's gonna be so much fun we love it and you know we're as disastrous as possible so we're making
Starting point is 00:04:11 sure to do a lot of this in the winter so you know we you know how we roll we're like we like to travel during bomb cyclones. So we do. And we love cuddling up in the theater with people when it's freezing outside. I mean, there is something so far. It's not our first time that we've done that. And we always have such a good time, just kind of cuddling and bitching about stuff. But my hot take is, oh, good.
Starting point is 00:04:37 I was going to say, my hot take is I think actually now, nowadays, summer travel is riskier than winter travel. With the increase of severe thunderstorms, I think there's more cancellations and delays. in the summer now. That's my hot take, everyone. Well, there's a lot of delays, period, now because the way everything is being run is absolutely off the rails. So you'll land and then the plane, I'll be like, oh, just sit there for a couple of hours. We're just waiting. We don't have any employees to come to the gate because we fired everybody.
Starting point is 00:05:08 So hold on, the guy who's delivered the donuts will be coming to the gate very soon. Once he's done unloading all of the luggage and letting the dogs out to pee that have been in the cargo hold and cleaning the commissary. I just can't believe that the combination of climate change and the guy from the real world running our FAA has led to all this travel chaos. It's crazy. It turns out you eat an airplane now. You get Ebola. You can't even have a decent airplane salad anymore. So, yeah, the world's falling apart, but so are we. And we'll all be together. So join us. us for that today is real housewives of orange count if you want this on video it's on patreon go there and get it um so let's get into it real housewives of orange county wow this show okay you know
Starting point is 00:06:04 how it's been hot it's the end of summer everywhere is probably hot and i'm in l.a right now it's almost 100 degrees and everywhere you go people are like pretty odd out there huh god i can't stand this heat god i hate this heat that's so hot. I'm one of those people. But I also think to myself, we know it's coming every fucking year. We know why are we sitting here complaining about this? We know it's going to be a disaster. We know we all hate it. And we're just sitting here as it happens. Basically, I was thinking of this because it's the same feeling I have when I watched Gina and Emily. It's like, what are these fucking why? Why are these fucking losers on this show? I think you knew this was coming.
Starting point is 00:06:47 It's just, it's, it's butt swamp. It's heat swamp in your butt and you know it's coming. And here they are, being dicks for another hour of my life. Yeah, it's just, Bravo. Bravo has really been pushing their luck with these two over the years. They're like, well, let's do one more season with them. One more. Well, congratulations.
Starting point is 00:07:15 Now you made it to your landmark season, 20 years, celebrating 20 years of Housewives, and you want this season to be really as great as possible. And you pushed your luck too far. And now guess what? You busted. You busted with Gina and Emily. Arguably your most valuable season of all time. So I hope you're happy.
Starting point is 00:07:36 We are taking back your bets. Yeah. Sorry. The House always wins. But unfortunately, it seems like the Casita won this time. The Casita always wins. I have never lived in a Casita. They show that coming up next week and I died laughing.
Starting point is 00:07:53 Yeah. Girl. Yeah. Girl. We saw the show. Don't be a Casita denialists, okay? Yeah. You lived in one.
Starting point is 00:08:03 That was your thing. That was your thing with a fireplace in the middle of the room for no reason. Do you remember? That was, wait, that was like a, that was not the Casita. That was the pre-Caceta. Oh, it was pre-Casita. Yeah, that was more of the marshals, her like house that she had with her ex. Well, I used to like that fireplace was once against the wall, but then it saw how Gina dressed every day and was just trying to get to her and ended up.
Starting point is 00:08:30 Just trying to stop her from going out into the world. I'm just trying to start her outfits on fire so she would have to change and just kind of got stuck there in the middle. I hated her original house. Like, I just seemed to remember there was like, yeah, there was that like fireplace right in the middle. middle and then like the living room was like weirdly shaped wasn't it like just strange angles it was like not like a I don't know I just remember nothing made sense about it and it just drove me nuts it was bizarre it was bizarre yeah and the fireplace was also triangular or something or like diamond shaped yeah everything was just it was a nightmare and then she got the casino trauma the trauma sticks with me is what is it nine years and I'm still like why why and then she seems like she's fine and nice but she's not fine and nice and that's what makes me crazy like I'm I fall for it every time and then she just does some mean shit just to do some, just to say she could do something, which I know isn't that rare in the housewives world, you know. But she just has no class about it or any humor or grace or charisma. It's like both of them.
Starting point is 00:09:32 Emily and Gina, they're like this one they spend the whole time like, oh my God. How are we even supposed to hang out with this guy when he cheated on his. Oh, okay. well then don't go to his house you know isn't there a rule like you don't go to someone's house and like treat them like shit like that's a big thing on housewives it's just general manners you know what i mean i'm not sticking up for the guy it's just like get some class and you're sitting there on their furniture with your heels all over it's classless yes this is a new a new a new tear of being angry at emily and gina is that now they're classless which says a lot if we're talking about orange
Starting point is 00:10:11 County. I mean, Tamara's on this cast and we're calling out these two for being classless. I think for me, it's more just like I see with the two of them that they understand the assignment that they just can't execute it. I see them trying every season. I do applaud them. They do try to stir the pot. They ask questions. They try to get things going and moving. But there's just not that other side that makes it compelling. It's like they are, they're not agitators in a way that's like super amusing i'm trying to think of a good example of an agitated you know you know it's like i think this is a this is the i'm sorry this is the first person that jumped into my head it's probably not the best example but i think of whitney rose who also is an
Starting point is 00:10:56 agitator and and she's so blatant about it but i think she kind of is more successful than these two because she's so ridiculous there's something kind of campy and silly and stupid about Whitney Rose and she's also like, but wait a second, weren't you saying that they cheated, huh? I don't know. And you're like, oh my God, it's just so on the nose. But I can't describe what it is. I almost wonder if there's something more shameless about her, the way she does it versus Emily and Gina. I don't know. I have to craft this hot take a little more. Like if you're thinking of Whitney, if you're going to describe Whitney to someone, you're like she's one of the biggest ding-dongs on the show. which I love a ding-dong character. I think they're the funniest, you know. I'm no huge fan of Whitney
Starting point is 00:11:42 Rose, but I see what she brings to the show. I mean, she's funny in that way. Her outfits are like stupid and funny. She's always starting fights that are so ridiculous. You never believe her in the beginning. Like she literally in her first season had to stop and be like, can we do that again? Which was hilarious trying to start a fight. I mean, there's character things about her that are just funny. She's a funny character character. these two just they just don't have it. I mean, for Christ. Maybe a better, maybe a better example would be like an Adriana Demora. You know, you know she's going to, you know she's going to start the pot. She's knows she's going to do something, but she does it in a way that's like, can't be an entertaining.
Starting point is 00:12:22 Or Giselle Bryant, you know, she's always going to like bring something up. She tells Angel Massey, like, what was going on with your photo? And then that becomes a thing. I don't know. Like, they're able to like move story along in a way that's like funny and entertaining. And you sort of are like, secretly looking forward to, oh, no, someone gave Giselle some information. This is not going to go well. It's like, but with Emily and Gina, and I would even extend this to someone like an errand on New York City, like they all understand what they have to do. And I appreciate that.
Starting point is 00:12:54 But somehow the execution just does not work for me. Yeah. So here we are with Gina and Emily. So Gina and Emily show. I'm glad we, I'm really glad we covered this topic because I feel like we really have not talked about this before. Yeah, we really have never talked about how obnoxious these two are on this show. But you know, you never know when casting just happens to think, well, I'm going to turn on this random podcast today. I know what they have to say. You know, maybe someday we'll get through. Maybe. All right. So we're at a place called we vitalize. Yeah. And it says they have a neon sign that says health is wealth. We vitalize. Is that a pun?
Starting point is 00:13:39 We vitalize. Yeah, health. It said health as wealth outside. We vitalize. So here's what I love. We have Tamara, Vicky, and Emily gathering at We Vitalize to get hydrated
Starting point is 00:14:01 after several days of being in Vegas. And Tamara comes in with raising canes, salty ass fried chicken for them to eat while they're hydrating. I was like, okay, that seems like it's an affront to the we vitalize community, but that's fine. Yeah, you're getting, you're getting we vitalized while you're shoving down sodium. We fritalized. Um, so Emily's like, I love, oh, I love chicken. Is this a diet Coke? I just love fried chicken.
Starting point is 00:14:39 And Vicky comes in. What is this for the South? What is it? It's like fried chicken. Is that for the South? Yes, Vicky. No, it's from northern Sweden. It's literal Samaros.
Starting point is 00:14:57 Like, what do you think it's from? Can I tell you something? Two things. First of all, this will be a three-hour recap because I keep on doing this to you. But second of all, Well, last night, some friends came over and they brought over Popeyes and I had a Popeye's chicken sandwich for the first time in years, you know, with like the fried chicken, with like the
Starting point is 00:15:15 pickle and like the sort of wasn't mayo. It's like a, I don't, the special sauce. When I tell you, where was it from? Popeyes. Oh, okay. I've always liked Popeyes, but I just haven't had it in forever. I try to limit my fried chicken because it's so good and I know it. It's like I, my cholesterol.
Starting point is 00:15:32 But I'll tell you, that fried chicken sandwich was. was so transporting. It was so, I felt like I was in we vitalized myself. But it was, it was, it was a dream. And I just need to say like, thank God for Popeyes. I just want to say, pop pies, you're doing great, great work. I feel like I sort of got disconnected from you for for a little bit. And I'm, I'm so happier back in my life. And they're not even a sponsor. I just felt like announcing telling people. that pop-ice it's a pop-lice something more entertaining than orange county that happened last night at psa hey you gotta get something at least there was one thing that happened in your life last night with some taste that's some seasoning glad to hear it it's time for a commercial it's time for a crap and's commercial so he's like oh wow this is for the south right fried chicken. I kind of feel like Brooks would eat this, like Mississippi style. What is Mississippi
Starting point is 00:16:39 style without teeth? You got him the teeth. Vicki. Vicki's really just bringing up all of the past failed relationships lately. And I'm wondering, I was wondering, like, are things just not going well with Mike? But then we see in the previews that things are in fact not going well with Mike, which I don't know that anybody's really surprised at. I think we knew that when Mike was like, yeah if you're a good girl I'll give you this ring I'm gonna keep it in the safe till you're a good girl
Starting point is 00:17:07 yeah it's strange because she's usually pretty good about picking out men so they are they're there and they'll falter even a broken clock is right twice the day or in this case
Starting point is 00:17:23 wrong literally almost the entire day so they are getting we vitalized and Emily's like I don't know what's harder being in Vegas with you ladies or being at home with my children
Starting point is 00:17:39 just just earmark that for your future therapy bills for them so then Tamara Tamara's like being help with your children's harder bitch it's harder being harder than your children am I right it's all exhausting I mean the minute I get home he's like I've been
Starting point is 00:17:57 with them for four days straight here they are well yeah I would too too stuck with their kids for four days like here take these fucking kids I'm going to temple or whatever like I don't know we'll go anywhere the hell out of here it's literally gonna go to Temple University he's like I'm gonna fly to Philadelphia just to get away from here so Emily is like yeah there's no how was Vegas was it fun did you have a good time it's like transactional it's like tuck and roll it's like he's already driving down the street and again I'm like I I get it personally
Starting point is 00:18:31 I would be like, like, bye. Oh, now, oh, you just got a break. You got to go to Vegas with your friends for four days. Well, I'm stuck with these monsters alone. And now you want, you want me to, like, sit here and put a smile on my face and ask you how great it was and then listen to you go on about it. No. If anyone gets to bitch, it's the person that got stuck with them kids. Okay.
Starting point is 00:18:57 I agree. You should have said, how did it go with the kids? You want to complain about it for three hours? and drink Diet Coke until your head pops off, great. I'm here for you. Yeah, yeah. I sort of get it. So Vicki's like, not to talk about me for a second, but like my spike protein is at 2,800.
Starting point is 00:19:17 It's over 2800. We should be between 0.0.0,000, okay? And I don't even know what spike protein is. And Vicki's like, Google it. It's not good. Yeah, I don't have my phone. I don't want that on my aisle, though. Can you just tell me what it is?
Starting point is 00:19:31 spike protein can persist in the brain's protective players, contributing to long-lasting neurological symptoms. So now when I tell you, I can't remember Carmilla's name. I can't remember that. It's spike protein. Maybe it's because Vicky got hit by that football all those years ago. That's literally like it was spiked into her head.
Starting point is 00:19:49 That's how she got her spike protein. Now, speaking of which, speaking of Camilla, we go to the Oppenheim group, and Carmela is at a table, and Heather walks in. Heather I'm sorry.
Starting point is 00:20:04 Everyone, every time Heather's on screen, I just laugh. She does nothing, and I just laugh. Because I feel like she comes in with this idea of what her scene is going to be like. And it just, like, her little plans just crack me up. She's like, in this scene, I'm going to walk in and be totally cool. I'm going to hang out with Camilla in one of those cool desks that's like a wing from an airplane. I love it here. I don't know.
Starting point is 00:20:27 And her eyes, she always does a thing where her eyes are both squinty and wide-eyed at the same time. like that's her talent. But it's out of control now. They're so wide town. She's just like, Hello, Oppenheim Group. How lovely. I'm television's Heather Dubrow.
Starting point is 00:20:42 I can't wait to see what non-set homes you have. Are you my new buddy, Carmela? So Heather's like saying the most shocking place for Carmela to be working in all of California. I know, right, is the Oppenheim Group. Wow, can't believe it. A gorgeous, a gorgeous, women on reality TV. What? Oh, wow. Look at you. Uh, just, uh, tagging along on selling the OC. Uh, some of us have been tagging along on the original show, million dollar listing Los Angeles,
Starting point is 00:21:17 but that's okay. You've got to start somewhere. Am I right? Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha. So, you saw the place that I texted you and Max sent me. Do you think that the, do you, do you call that South County? Not that this is a test. Don't fuck it up. Well, actually, that's kind of North County. Oh, but it's south from here. Okay. Well, hold on a second. I'm just taking this pen and I'm writing down in my pocketbook. Bing! Bing! Okay. If you ever say that someplace south of us is north of us, it will cost you a lot. So we see the house. It's a two-bed, two-bath in La Jolla. And, and... It's gorgeous. It's amazing.
Starting point is 00:22:05 Way too nice for someone who's like just a recent college graduate. I'm sorry. You do not need to be, you do not need to be paying for your kids' apartment at this place. At this point. I understand if you want to pay for them to go to school. Fine. But like now they're an adult and they're out in the world. They can get a dingy studio apartment like the rest of us did when they were 22.
Starting point is 00:22:30 I feel like that's a part of. of, you know, growing into a good person is living like other people live, at least for a minute. For one minute. For one minute. Like, I think you have to, I think you have to like live in a studio apartment at one point in your life and understand, like, understand the madness of a studio apartment. You have to understand what that's like. You have to understand a futon life. Yes. So she's like, okay, well, I know that rental. are, you know, below your pay grade. But I wanted to find her something where she'll be happy.
Starting point is 00:23:08 So will you slum it for me? Yes or no? Do not make me write Dean down again. Do not make me do it. And what is your pay grade anyway? Is it like $7 an hour to find this? Just let me know. I'll have Alfredo write you a check.
Starting point is 00:23:23 Business Alfredo, that is. So Carmela's like, yeah, well, the ones that she sent me in La Jolla, like it's really different to get in. out of so if she has a four o'clock class she's going to take 40 minutes to get to school i'm not a carmela hater i would appreciate something that carmel is not really a big character either she's just another lady with kind of low energy i'm not really sure what they're doing over there we're on we're like on episode eight or nine at this point which is crazy and i'm i'm i am i flagged it a few episodes ago i was like i think that carmella's a one and done she's just not doing it
Starting point is 00:24:01 Although, you know, this show, I mean, we got Emily and Gina. So when I say one and done, I may be talking about decade, right? But, um, she's, she's not very interesting and hasn't contributed much. The show, let's put her on for 10 years. But seriously. Yeah, I mean, I think she seems perfectly nice. She's fine. You know, I mean, I like her okay.
Starting point is 00:24:21 I just, wow, she's really, she's really low energy. And she looks to me, she still just looks like Sheena. And not even in a different font. Like literally. Sheena and she even poses like Sheena. When she took a picture today with her kid, she even turned to the side and gave Sheena's good side. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:24:39 I agree. I think Carmel is likable. I think she has like a good curating. But like she's just, I don't think that she's I've yet to find her to be incredibly interesting. I think that's my issue.
Starting point is 00:24:57 Yeah. So she's going to show her a place. in Bankers Hill and there's coffee shops. I mean, it's a vibe. And so Heather's like, well, she's a realist agent in this exact area. Plus, her kids are already similarly the age to my kids. Seems like a no-brainer. Hmm. We'll see if any wackiness ensues with this one. I don't understand what the kids being at the same age has anything. What is she even trying to say here. She's saying like because our kids are the same age, she's going to be an even better real estate agent for me. I guess maybe she's saying that she knows my my needs. I don't know.
Starting point is 00:25:35 She's just I don't really know. He's like, well, we have kids the same age. So she'll know what kind of apartment my daughter would like. I mean, I don't, I don't really know. We are so similar. Carmela, where is your Drake? You have a Drake next door as well? No. Oh, is that just me who lives next door to Drake? Oh, my apologies. You know, it's funny. The other day I was asking Drake, do you know any neighborhoods with good neighbors? And he's like, I don't know. But if you find one, tell me. I didn't realize how rude that was until I got home.
Starting point is 00:26:09 Then I called the HOA. Drake's got a little notice about his trash can being out a day later. I just say that. Drake. She's like, get this woman out of my, she's on his lawn every day. Well, just happened to be. be walking by hello Drake Drake would you like to see my hotline bling Drake no um so they put up the ages of the kids I don't know why but it really
Starting point is 00:26:39 jumbled my head because she's like my kids are our kids are similar in age so it says Heather's kids 15 19 22 22 Carmela's kids 14 15 17 17 Literally not like there's only one child that was the appropriate age range. There was like a 14 and a 15 and a 15 and 19 is major. One's in college and one's a freshman in high school. That's they're not hanging out. And then 22 and 17, two are college graduates and two just got their driver's license. There's nothing.
Starting point is 00:27:10 Whatever play date she's ready to set up, it's not, it's not working in my brain. Yeah. So Carmela says, oh, you know, it's a nice option. It's a nice option. Everything I can do to get your baby home is going to be great. What's going on the friend front? Let's talk about that. Well, I was very upset with Emily.
Starting point is 00:27:27 I did not like all of these, you know, character assassination vibe she was giving me. I just, I said, listen, just because I'm a character actor, does not mean I want character assassination. Am I right, Mindy Kaling? So then we, that we see a flashback and Jen, Jen, is telling us, you know, she doesn't like it. She doesn't like when you try to tell her how she should operate.
Starting point is 00:27:53 And Heather goes, I don't care. I don't understand what that flashback was, but I love it. I love Heather being like, excuse me, poor people are only allowed to talk until 9.30 p.m. And it is currently 9.47. Like a McDonald's breakfast menu, this option is closed for you after 10.30. Could you have Susan Bender send in a pair of size If Emily something to focus on, that would be great. And we see another flashback of Emily being like,
Starting point is 00:28:26 Oh, no, you're acting like you're the rule follower? What's that about? And she's like, oh, to someone, oh gosh, you need to talk to me, great. Well, does the waiter need to have a talk with me too? It's just going to be a flood of poor people trying to talk to me. Sounds great. I, you know what's so funny. I, first of all, I also want to point out, I'm not going to lie,
Starting point is 00:28:47 I did I did watch this episode kind of drunk. So I thought that Heather said, you know, Popeyes, there was a, things were going down last night. I'll tell you the whole is going on last night. I love it. I had a, I had some friends over, so double birthday party. It was, it was fun.
Starting point is 00:29:06 So Heather, I thought when Emily's like, you always are acting like you're a rule for, now you're actually like you're a rule follower. I thought Heather said, does someone else have a greater need to talk to me as in like, like surely someone else wants to talk to me. I don't, not just Emily. I'm so sick of hearing from Emily, but it makes more sense if she's like,
Starting point is 00:29:24 does the waiter need to talk to me? Look, everybody decides that Heather's going to be the one they're going to go for this year. And that's kind of the problem with the show. Like, Heather didn't even do anything. And listen, I'm all for giving Heather some shit, but she didn't even do anything. This is so stupid. And so Heather says this is hurting the group because they should all be adults.
Starting point is 00:29:46 And now we're going to go to the game. Canine Learning Academy where Shannon is getting her dog trained by a person and she's wearing a four-leaf clover sweats out Skin suit four-leaf, top of the morning to you. Production was like, we're not going to sit through another year where Shannon yells, tap with them wanting to you all day long. So like, well, shoot one scene with a dog and she can say it once and never again. She will not be in a bar. Get out her skin tight, Timo, you know, St. Patty's Day outfit. Jen's like, oh, my God, I love your outfit. What beautiful daisies.
Starting point is 00:30:28 Those are Clovers, Jen. Oh, I'm so sorry. I don't know anymore. I was told I'm not allowed to even talk until we hit 11 a.m., according to Heather. Clovers, Jen. What does this not surprise me about you, that you're wearing a sparkly green shirt to the doctor? trainers. Shannon, thank you so much for being so you. Well, I, I, you know, I have to every year. Oh, what do you call your dog? Hello, dog. That's Rita. It's Rita. She has a new
Starting point is 00:30:57 harness, Shannon, because we grew a little bit. Okay, don't be blaming the dogs for getting Chetheed. You are feeding that dog, that poor thing. Susan Bender is getting that dog and outfit ready. So then, um, for Rita. Rita. Rita, like, I love that. Everyone's weight shaming me here. I don't even have opposable thumbs. You guys are acting like I'm calling dominoes and shit. I'd love that there's a dog named Rita that Jen has a dog, just a big old dog named Rita. And you know, like, in my mind, I'm hoping that it was that Rita was named after like Rita Rudner or, you know, or someone like that. But like, you know, it's going to be something to be like Margarina. But you know, it was probably named after like
Starting point is 00:31:40 Margarita, which is like so much more basic. Yeah. Um, well, I, Well, I've got someone who's kind of like the death of me over here, Troy. Jesus Christ. Gets me a kill his heel every time, Troy. So she complains that Troy is a pain in the ass, but Troy is a baby. Okay. We need to leave Troy alone. She got Troy to help her with Archie because Archie is getting older.
Starting point is 00:32:11 And I think it was like a sometimes people do that. You know, you get like a transitional pet. So you're not without a pet. When the other passes, I don't know, to me it's very sad. You know, it's dark. I couldn't. I can't do that. My sister wants me to because Bueller's so old.
Starting point is 00:32:26 And I'm like, I'm not bringing in like Bueller's replacement while he's still at his desk. Like, that's just so weird. I don't like the thought of that. I'm not really judging anybody. My point is when they got Archie, I'm sure there was someone else there to train Archie, because Archie is so well-behaved. And now you've got Troy. And all Troy has is Shannon.
Starting point is 00:32:46 And this dog is not. well trained at all and it seems like he's not well trained but then he's very well trained when we see him with the trainer he does everything the trainer he wants and gets a cookie so maybe Archie's the bad influence I mean let's also you know let's not forget I mean when Archie him around there was also a fuller house you had like the meaning I mean who cares about David but you had the three daughters that could probably lavish a lot more attention onto that dog I mean Shannon's not really doing much so she can lavish a lot of attention but like Shannon's
Starting point is 00:33:17 going to lavish neurotic attention that will probably make the dog like neurotic and as opposed to the kids that could probably give a different kind of vibe so like no surprise that a dog that's getting 100% Shannon Mature energy is like
Starting point is 00:33:32 Is that a shoe? I think I'm just going to have a little shoe for a snack. Okay thank you Yeah yeah I see that I feel for Troy because that Shannon energy has got to be Okay see you're not sitting Where are you sitting? What is wrong with you? I told you to sit.
Starting point is 00:33:49 Why are you said? Just sit down flee. Oh, now you sit. Now I don't even care that you're sitting. Well, thanks a lot. I guess I'll just eat this treat. What, my meeting it. What? My meat. Oh, you want the treat now? Okay, maybe I'll sit down for it. Okay, he's standing up again. God damn it. Maybe Troy's just trying to get an alibi. Troy is like, let me tuck her myself out during the day by acting crazy around the house.
Starting point is 00:34:10 So that way, I won't be accused of needing a midnight walk when someone crashes into a house. He's very forward thinking. It was bizarre. Did we ever question why Archie was even in the car when she was having, when she had her DUI? Wasn't she coming from a party or something? Huh? It is kind of funny to think of that or why Archie was in the car.
Starting point is 00:34:36 Like why was Archie actually in the car? Yeah, Archie was in the car. Because then she walked, she got the car and pretend like she was walking Archie. Yeah, I don't know. What do you mean house? Did the house crash into my car? while I was walking Archie up. Yeah, I don't really remember the whole story there.
Starting point is 00:34:54 But the point is, Troy was being a good boy here. Just kidding. The point is she's trying to train Troy. So she's like, well, Troy is very sweet, but he is a lot. He has eaten well over $12,000 worth of shoes. Oh. This is the point where you don't leave your shoes out on the floor, I think.
Starting point is 00:35:13 This is where you put everything away from that dog. because that's crazy. It's also $11,860 more shoes than Gina's ever displayed on the show. I know also like, why don't you go get like a $30 pair of shoes that he can just chew on? Does that ever work if you give like a dog like just some cheap shoes to chew on instead? Girl puppies eat everything. They just eat everything. Bueller ate a Diet Coke ham when he was a puppy.
Starting point is 00:35:42 He ate it. The edge of the diet. The circular part, well, I guess it's all a circular part, but like the part where the pops open, that part was the only thing left. And he actually ingested it? He ate it. He ate a Diet Coke. I didn't see him do it. Obviously, I would have stopped him.
Starting point is 00:36:02 But yeah, he ate it. And then I was pulling Diet Coke out of, Diet Coke out of his butt. Thankfully, he had like crunched it enough that it was, it didn't slice him open or he wouldn't still be here. And here he is. Wow. Dr. But yeah, puppies will eat literally anything. So I don't know. Commercials, here comes one right now.
Starting point is 00:36:27 So Jen, now they're talking about Vegas and they feel like old ladies and Shannon's like, well, I just, I'm an old lady. No, Shannon, I'm an old lady. All right. The both of you, just stop. Silly. So back over at We Vitalize.
Starting point is 00:36:44 So Emily's like, after the last in Vegas did you guys go out yeah we went to have this room do you guys catch us walk into the casino and Heather was like in front she was walking like this she she she she she she she she be a big she she but i'm in front um the return of the walking in frontlight she kept walking through there to I'm in that dollar m m'am in the he name he me and they're putting yourself in they give me a break opening Show me that walk through the casino. Walking from Ler, the biggest time, you are the most important person in the group being center.
Starting point is 00:37:29 Hey, baby, give me talk down and then scramble things. Strait of the China never matter before. No one cares. It is. I wasn't gonna stop until we got that, damn it. It's not gonna stop. I was just like pressing next on the jukebox. Waiting until Mr. Belvedere comes.
Starting point is 00:37:57 Mr. Melveteer is. That's my camera. Weird Al, it's the thing about Heather. Yeah, they're mad about this because they were doing one of the, okay, housewives, let's do an entrance scene. And that's when they all walk and they're all dressed up, and they do it in slow, And then, you know, they're like,
Starting point is 00:38:17 Mm-s-ts, mm-s-st-s-th. And so they're mad that Heather was insisting on being in front of shooting this slow-mo scene. It's basically the unsaid part of this argument. And I was cracking up. And when it got to be a fight later, and Heather's like, well, I want the better lighting. So what? But also, when they do show the shot of it, you do see Heather's in the center. And she is walking like, look at me.
Starting point is 00:38:41 Like when you used to always talk about how Heather and her assistant would walk. like her assistant would walk behind her with the bag like Heather is walking like she has like like a gaggle of assistants behind her and she's like which way to the Oscars please you know it's i just like cracked up the assistant used to crack me up because she would follow Heather in walking exactly the same as her and they would both have their own bags but they would be holding it up like this like a waiter holding up a tray and then the bag would be hanging off the hand like that and they were holding it the same way like dangling back and forth the walking in the same exact much and the assistant would talk just like Heather.
Starting point is 00:39:17 Oh, it's so funny. But here, yeah, she's just in the front of this stupid group entrance line. And I, well, is Heather always get to be beside the group entrance? That's not bad. I'm going to be beside the group entrance one time, Steve. Yeah, and Becky's like, yeah, I mean, it's ridiculous. She's got to be front and center. Always getting the room key, getting this, getting that.
Starting point is 00:39:39 What? Look at Heather. Always got to be getting her room key. getting her room key. Don't you hate people who try to get into their own hotel rooms? Ugh, so annoying. And we're like, we're supposed to be together as a family. She's very entitled.
Starting point is 00:39:56 She's very entitled. And she makes me feel like she's, you know, head of the troops. She's ahead of the troops. Yeah, we have to fall in line with her. I'm not going to follow. I'm not going to follow in line. Well, also, of course, Vicki's pissed because Heather told her to shut the fuck up when Vicki was trying to like, you know,
Starting point is 00:40:13 set shame or slut shame, mom shame, or whatever you want to call it, the newbie who she considers to be a slutty slut mix in. Yeah. Heather, that is one of my favorite things that she did this season. No, stand down. Stand down.
Starting point is 00:40:32 Stand down. No, kids. Stand not. She should be a hostage negotiator. Get out of that. Stand down and get out of that. bank right now. Otherwise, I will
Starting point is 00:40:43 do you want me to recite my monologue from hot in Cleveland when I was a guest star 2011, across from Jane Leaves? Do you? Well, here it goes. Table for three. Thank you. So,
Starting point is 00:41:03 somebody's like, well, you know, I'm not going to follow. I go rogue all the time. That's why I eat fancy food in a funny way and let it dangle out of my mouth. because that's me going rogue. That's why she's always mad at me. And Tamara's like, yeah.
Starting point is 00:41:16 And when you got in, like, when she got in your face and like, yeah, you have the casino. Remember that? Remember that? Vicki, do you want to be mad about that? And because, like, yeah, she told me to stand down. Is it like, stand down. I was like, I was like, what? Standing dad?
Starting point is 00:41:27 What? And they didn't show the clip. I was shocked. I was like, why are you not giving me this clip again of Heather yelling, stand down? It was like the best thing that happened all season. Yeah. Just a couple things. Emily, Heather is not always mad at you because you won't.
Starting point is 00:41:42 fall in line. She's mad at you because you're always trying to come up with reasons to yell at her in public when she's never done anything but be nice to you. I'm getting season after season. You do the same thing to Shannon. Like you're just switching back and forth because you've got fucking nothing. You've got nothing going on. I can't. This Heather's always mad at me. You're always starting shit with people and then she always makes it about herself like, oh, I can't believe so and so is mad at me. It's because you're an asshole on purpose all the time. I think Emily is actually uncomfortable around wealth. I think that's, you know, and obviously, like, you know, we owe it like in every story,
Starting point is 00:42:20 it's always like the super rich people are like the villains, right? Because it's like they're disconnected and they're mean and they control things. But I think in this case, I think Emily is like really, I think, I think there's, I think, Heather's wealth fundamentally bothers Emily. And that's why she keeps coming after Heather over and over again. I mean, Heather's also an asshole. That could, that could probably contribute to it too. But I think she has, I think for Emily, based on everything she's told us about like how she was like the environment she was raised in and everything, I think she has a worldview that like people like Heather are like fundamentally awful. And guess what? A lot of people who are as wealthy as Heather are fundamentally awful. But at this point, you've been on the show with her for like seven or eight years. You know who she has? Why are you still coming at her for the same thing over and over and over again? Just like accept that she's just like,
Starting point is 00:43:10 wealthy, like she's just wealthy Heather Debrough. Like, like, I don't know. I guess what I'm trying to say is that I feel like she's prosecuting the same thing over and over and over again. And it's like, now this is becoming your issue. It's not Heather's issue. If it was even bringing up something that Heather actually did or when Heather is actually being annoying.
Starting point is 00:43:28 Okay. But this like coming up with like, oh, she yelled at Vicky in her face and she calls me aggressive. You are aggressive. And then they show clips of Emily being like, oh, fucking general. And she's like, okay, well, I can't be aggressive. But still, like, she was really aggressive with Vicky.
Starting point is 00:43:47 Well, maybe Vicki shouldn't be telling people they're terrible mothers. And then pretending she doesn't know their name and slut-shaming them and doing all this other shit that you guys let Vicky. It's like you you guys stood up for Gretchen, the one of the worst, like the shit that was coming out that Gretchen was liking and all that on social media. And you guys are still trying to make it somebody else, somebody else's fault. so you can stand up. You guys are the worst. I'm going to revise my thing about Emily and Heather. I think that Heather, like,
Starting point is 00:44:22 I think Emily feels lesser than around Heather. I think Emily sort of has a feeling like, I'm the poor kid. I'm the poor kid and Heather's the wealthy one, and she probably disapproves of me. I think that Emily feels like Heather just thinks of her as like, whatever you're just like a like a support person Heather may think that but I think that these are what I'm trying to say is I do think that like Emily is bringing an insecurity to this so
Starting point is 00:44:51 I'm revising what I said before about like she's not comfortable around wealth or whatever she's she's angry at wealthy people it's not that she's angry at wealthy people I think that she is I think that she I think she's taken back to someplace that she was in her in her childhood where she felt lesser than as someone who's had like like was maybe there were wealthier classmates or something like that like that's what the vibe is over and over and over again and so for me it's like you're bringing your childhood like insecurities around or like you're putting them all onto Heather in a certain way Heather is a wealthy obnoxious person but I'm just saying like at certain point I feel like this is moved into like
Starting point is 00:45:31 you have to sort out your your shit now because you're coming at Heather each and every time and I feel like you're the one who's feeling like you're lesser than and then because you act then because you come at heather heather's like fuck this person and so it's a self-fulfilling prophecy where heather is going to be like dismissive of you and like just brush you off because you're awful to her yeah i mean i think that's a very compassionate take of like oh her childhood and her this and like i appreciate that you know um i just think emily is a fucking asshole and i think she's always coming after people because she considers it to be her job And she's just going to do it, no matter whether she has anything real to come at or not,
Starting point is 00:46:11 she's going to team up with whoever. And she always does it in teams where she goes behind. She's doing it all season against Carmela. Like, well, Carmela got me this bag. And I don't know if Carmela should have got me this bag. I mean, what is she trying to buy my friendship? Oh, Gina, you're mad about the bag too. Oh, Gina said it too.
Starting point is 00:46:28 You know, she's always this. She's always like trying to get a team to go against somebody. And she picks somebody different every year. And it's just, I just, I just, find it to be just insincere, you know? Yeah. Like she just doesn't have anything sincere about her. As far as all of her childhood stuff, like, honestly, I don't even care about it.
Starting point is 00:46:47 No, it's just me just trying to like imagine what, what, like, it's not, and by the way, it's not me being compassionate because she has childhood issues. It's just like what I'm, I just feel like I'm seeing it. And it's like, as her point, it's like, if had, like, your insecurity that is coming out being around Heather, like, you have to start dealing with. with that rather than going out Heather over and over and over again okay like like you have to now address why does she make you feel this way why do you feel like when Heather puts together a nice luncheon you have to put a cucumber in your mouth let it dangle out like you're a kid like you know it like it's like she has to like poke holes through this like oh it's too it's too it's too
Starting point is 00:47:28 fancy like oh look how stupid this all is it's like this is actually saying more about you than it is about Heather you know Heather made you a nice luncheon I'm so mad about that cucumber two years later, but she's had dangling out of her mouth, because it was so immature. And I think it's just like, she just has, she just has to deal with her shit at this point. Yeah. And she does that, you know, she puts her initials all over everything at every party. Why don't we do to look at your initials? Or when she's at a really nice Heather party, you're right. She always does try to trash it up to be like, oh, she thinks she's so classy. Well, my husband's fucking me up the butt later. You know, yeah. It's like a rebeen. She's like a
Starting point is 00:48:05 being she's always got to do something to be like i'm you know i'm one of the real ones but yeah you're there is ridiculous come from some kind of in well that's what i'm saying like heather does have a lot of stuff you should come at her for but yeah like the bag she shows up with today that's a debrow on them right a hundred percent make fun of that but like she but emily comes at heather in with such with more than just like you it's her vibe her energy is not like Heather, you are ridiculous. Her energy is like, you're always bossing me around. You're always doing this. Like she basically puts Heather in her, I'm assuming maybe she's also sort of like transferring issues with her mom onto Heather as well, like authority figure or something. I just feel like it's like the energy that she gets Heather is just way deeper than just poking holes in her pretentiousness.
Starting point is 00:48:52 You know? Yeah. It's too much. Much of the energy I've already given. She probably thinks that Heather looks down on her. And I would agree. I think Heather probably does. Heather wouldn't be hanging out with you losers if she wasn't on this TV show. And we all know it. And I think that they all know it. So they're like, oh, we'll just bring her down this time. But it's not just Heather. It's just Heather right now. You know, it's been Shannon before.
Starting point is 00:49:13 We're think, oh, my God. Let's go on with Shannon. We're Shannon's friends now. Isn't it crazy that we're like best friends with Shannon? And then they take minute things that Shannon says there about her feelings being heard about whatever. And they're like, Shannon was talking shit about you, Heather. And she said they dis and da-da-da-da. And then sets Heather again.
Starting point is 00:49:29 against you know, they do it every year. So again, I don't know why I'm surprised. It's not really surprised. It's just annoyance. I think she's just sort of like stuck in this. She has like a teenager thing that she's sort of stuck in and she just rebels against her mom. And one year, Heather's the mom and one year Shannon's the mom and it goes back and forth. And Vicki will probably, Vicki sticks around.
Starting point is 00:49:55 Vicki will probably enter that mix. Tamara's like, well, what you said with nice? Vicki, but still, but still. She's like, well, I mean, of course, you know, whatever I said, you know, I apologize. And we moved on. It was over. It was done. You know, like, she wants to be a terrible parrot. Who am I? Be a terrible parrot. It's a free country.
Starting point is 00:50:14 And, um, Emily's like, yeah, we all told Vicky that, but like the point is Victoria can address it with Carmela herself. Oh, suddenly Emily's in favor of not meddling with something. Oh, that's interesting. So back to Heather. She says everybody. against having to go for heather for the rest of the episode so by the way uh notably we're
Starting point is 00:50:35 still in the first scene of the episode you know what sometimes you just get triggered by gina and emily and that's it if they don't want if they want shorter episodes then get them off this show that's what i say uh so yeah then they go to carmella's house as a boring party and that was pretty much the end of the show but thank you so much to everyone we're coming here We're almost an hour into this shit Okay, let's hustle a little longer Congratulations, you've reached the end of part one Of a two-part recap
