Well there was no Bravo one last night, so instead of taking the day off, we headed up the Hollywood Hills to have a chat with our friend Leah Black at our fabulous home! We just sat around the table with one little microphone and laughed our butts off. You can follow Leah on Instagram and Twitter at LeahBlackMiami and go to LeahBlack.com for all her fabulous jewelry and face products.
Starting point is 00:01:55 We love you Leah. We love you guys. Enjoy the show. We will be back tomorrow with below deck Mediterranean. Hi everybody. Hi Leah. Fabulous Los Angeles. 100 degrees in heat.
Starting point is 00:02:04 Hello. We're doing this as professionally as usual. Hi everybody! Fabulous Los Angeles! 100 degrees in heat! We're doing this as professionally as usual. We're just sitting at the East Table. Yep, right now. Our fabulous Longwood Lod Table thing. Hanging out and being fabulous. Yeah, looking over the coast.
Starting point is 00:02:18 Exactly. We're using one mic, so that's why it sounds like, in a co-eat room, because we're in a big, gigantic house right now. Just talking to can I call you a room? Because we're in a big gigantic house right now, just talking to tape. With one microphone, because we're in a budget. Yeah, exactly. People may remember Leo Black, of course, from Real Housewives of Miami,
Starting point is 00:02:34 and more recently from flipping out, you're on last season of flipping out. And the season two. The season two. Yeah, we renovated the kitchen this season. I can't take any more renovations. What are we learning? Spoiler alert. I know, we're looking at it right now. Yeah, is it worth the kitchen this season. I can't take any more renovations. What are we wearing? Spoiler alert.
Starting point is 00:02:45 I know, we're looking at it right now. Is it worth the trouble and the money? It looks amazing. So something don't ask. It looks like a digital man. It took me three hours to notice the... Yeah, it doesn't look good. Did it used to have...
Starting point is 00:02:57 This is different. Did there used to be handles on the cabinets? I think you remember there were no handles. Yeah, there were no handles. Yeah, because I remember one time. They were black. Yeah. You have to press them like magnet type candles. Yeah, I remember coming over here. Jeff has to do everything
Starting point is 00:03:09 first class. Jeff Lewis can't involve tonight's breakfast at Wright and Checks. Yeah, exactly. No kidding. You added all those sandal leaders in there. Oh, those weren't cheap either. I said, can we go some other part of town to shop at Beverly Hills. He's like no absolutely not. I thought he took you to that. What they called that place? A huge furniture center in Culver City. Oh I want to know if you're again. I want to do it too. Yeah Culver City is the place. So can't you step us when going on? So well we're here all summer and all this heat we came away to came away from the heat. We came here.
Starting point is 00:03:46 I'm thinking about heat. And now, I know. And then Roy said he went there for three days. He said, it's 88 degrees and feels like 200 degrees there. So 100 degrees here is not as hot as 88 degrees. And Miami in terms of how it fills, he says. Yes. Because of the humidity.
Starting point is 00:04:01 And everyone here is laughing. They're going, oh, my clod is class quick. Oh, it's just so humid. I'm like are you kidding me? It's I don't even see one bit of humidity and back to everything is brown and needs water I don't see any humidity. Yeah, they did say that on the first They did say that on the radio today. They said it said to be hot and humid and it's like literally like crispy out the town of Thurston's funny that you could take that in a lot of different ways. What a furs!
Starting point is 00:04:28 These people here! Well theoretically it is supposed to rain tonight. I heard that. It's a 50% chance of rain tomorrow is what I just heard. Which is good because you know the city's not far. I hope it does rain. And then the Griffith Park is apparently as far there today. They put it out already.
Starting point is 00:04:44 Yeah, that's pretty close. That's not that bar from there. I know. Well, so Miami doesn't get far as far as you're trying. No, they get hurricanes. The climate change is real. It is not a hoax. I mean, everywhere you go, there's a volcano erupting.
Starting point is 00:04:56 A hurricane, a wind storm, a fire. I mean, everywhere you go. Oh, sorry. I remember now when his arc, the EM, all But that was the great time to eye it, folks. And the time. Well, straws, you know, Starbucks is getting rid of straws. Did you do that that by 2020? Yeah, and I agree with that.
Starting point is 00:05:15 I think it's great. They cut up with that welding of their days. The thousand pound weld. No, it was a big huge one. A thousand pounds of plastic on it. That's terrible. It's ruining the coral reef. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:05:24 I mean, can we get rid of plastic and other things? Yeah, I agree. I'm a sloker and a coffee drinker and have some of my white teeth. Yeah, but you they're making straws. They're making straws out of like wood and thick paper now. They're biodegraded. Yeah. Yeah, they are. Yeah, I will say a paper straw is sort of a sad experience. No, not only for the wondering, you know, wandering can't use it all day, but now the wooden ones, they last for a long time. I'm concerned because I totally support getting rid of the straws, I think we do have to start getting rid
Starting point is 00:05:54 of some of these plastic things. However, on the podcast, normally I have a little Starbucks and I'm like sort of drinking on the side. And now- We recycle that cup, just keep that cup. I keep using it over and over again. But if I don't use a straw, you hear me slurping. And that's not nice.
Starting point is 00:06:08 I'll get one of those plates. Oh, you don't have to. I bought the metal ones for the house here and the one in Miami. I don't remember what you said. And each one of them has a different design on it, so everybody has their own straw. Oh, that's what I'm doing for the world. I'm not having babies. Yeah, that's true, man.
Starting point is 00:06:21 And I'm not driving. I'm a scooter. And I'm just going to be siling. I keep my sure. I'm not a scooter. And I'm just like, you're so good. I keep my police. You've got a very small footprint. That's true. We do have a small footprint. The podcast is a small footprint.
Starting point is 00:06:32 Yes. All you people lecturing me about straws and drawings as he holds a plastic water bottle. This is a smart one. It was a smart one. So you, well, that's the thing. I mean, that's right. Why are those buyers of Gradwal or something?
Starting point is 00:06:44 The smart one? It says smart one. Oh. So you well that's the thing I mean that's why are those buyers are gradable or something this morning? But isn't there a whole thing with the bottled water that it's actually not so great for the environment because the amount of resources It takes to get the water in the bottles and you're using like those ship the shipping itself is like There's a new water bottle out that was created or Venet or whatever by Will Smith's son, James Smith, you know that and it's probably as completely biodegradable like it's like a milk carton water bottle. Well I was just in CVS and and and boxed water was there during your promotion and they were doing a they had a guy from you know that that that water that's like drink box water or whatever it's called yeah they're
Starting point is 00:07:21 trying to do a two for one he was like is this hipster trying to sell the box of water? Did it sell it? No one was buying it. Well, listen, you know, for a lot of people, I am like six or seven years ago when he was working on making jeans out of plastic. I said, why don't you solve the plastic bottle problem with, you know, milk cartons. He goes, yeah, that's a good idea. You're going to work on that.
Starting point is 00:07:42 But then I never heard any more about it. But then I see this bottle of water. Is in my Plotty Studios. You're gonna work on that. But then I never heard any more about it, but then I see this bottle of waters in my Plotty Studios, you're made out of milk, hard type things, and apparently this Jaden Smith came up with it. So that was what I was thinking. So Ferrell is sitting in animals by making plastic pants, and I can't drink out of a straw.
Starting point is 00:07:56 Yeah. You guys, that's good. Well, he's very socially conscious, Ferrell. He's one of the good guys. How handsome is he in person? Let's be honest. He's horrible, and he's really could have been a stand up comic. I really. He's absolutely as steric, like at a party standing up and just holding
Starting point is 00:08:11 court and talking. People are crying. He's really cute and really funny. See that's the thing. I mean, I love For Elle in terms of, you know, like I loved his band AnyRD. I was like, I was always a big fan of theirs. And, but I never would have thought of him as like a funny guy. He's the sweetest thing. You know, he performed at our charity for free.
Starting point is 00:08:29 And that's how I really got to know him. But he's just one of the good guys. He's always working on the environment. And he's always working on something. He's always helping somebody make it in the world. I mean, he's just one of the good guys. But he could be a stand-up comic. He's funny.
Starting point is 00:08:42 Who are some of your favorite celebrity guests that you've had at your gal? Gala? Yeah remember Flo Rida from the show. I love Flo and Flo. I love Flo because Flo has supports like 20 or 30 football teams in Miami that he funds himself. Oh really? With his self and money he raises and he pays for them. These are inner city kids that don't have money for football teams. So that's what I love most about him. Plus, he wrote a song for me about me. Really? I would like to get it from him.
Starting point is 00:09:10 I don't remember. He played it at the gala. Oh my god. And then the other one I love is DeGonmore. Like because she funds this school in New Jersey where she's from, where she's helping these kids there. So I prefer and like the ones that are up to something really big.
Starting point is 00:09:26 I mean, we've had a lot of really big talent, but I always gravitate the ones that are doing something bigger than just performing. I'm just when I think back we've had so many. I've had Pavilla Bell and Pitbull and. Pitbull's huge in Miami. He's basically like the mayor of Miami. You know, the Estefans are very social gorgeous. I've had very good.
Starting point is 00:09:48 I mean, we've had so many. I mean, I'm trying to think that we've had, I think, oh, you know, we had a wreath of Franklin. What? She came on a bus before, two or three or four day bus trip. Oh my God. So she was hilarious. So legend, right there.
Starting point is 00:10:03 I really mounted a wreath of Franklin. So I bought a. So legend, right there. I really wanted to read the Franklin. So I bought a acoustic us here. Oh, she was like, oh, really? And then they sent, um, um, I'm a, every, woo, woo, woo. Shaggy Khan. Shaggy Khan's voice sounds great. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:10:17 But it's still, it's not a read the Franklin. It's an unfulfilled expectation. You go there expecting, you know, to see somebody. I'm just trying to think you all. It's like any of your favorite stories. we had Queen Latte even Tony Bennett. And she was lovely. She couldn't have been more lovely. He's a little, he's a little bit of a standoffish kind of a guy. You know, like he's heard it all seen it all. He just shows up. He just shows up.
Starting point is 00:10:40 performs and doesn't really, but Queen Lat Queen Latifa though, she was very engaging with the audience and with people and everything. But he's a legend. I mean, let me tell you, we sold a lot of tickets because of him, because a lot of these older people knew they never in their lifetime see him again. Yeah. So they were like, glamin' on to coming.
Starting point is 00:11:00 I sold front-roast cables for a lot, if that were them. Yeah, I saw him years ago at random, at the Charter Egaela, and it's weird, because his voice is not so great anymore. But he on stage presence, he's like, he still sells it. He sells it. Roddy, yeah.
Starting point is 00:11:17 He's the creator. He's the creator. I almost had Andre Bochellian it fell through. But the one that I love was like like my close friend was Nally Cole Oh, yeah, heart-breaking what happened to her. Yeah, so sweet. She carried my handbags You know to remember them and she was just so sweet and and then you know Courtney love came She Courtney loved it together Courtney love is one of the most generous
Starting point is 00:11:44 Nices people she read my book and she raved over it and tweeted about it, you know I loved it together. Courtney Love is one of the most generous, nicest people. She read my book and she raved over it and tweeted about it. So I like the people that, you know, I love the talent. Of course I love the talent, but I like the people that have more substance than just the talent, you know. I'll always remember was I think it was season one when Christie race. Yeah, Christie race and Lars. Try to or was a marathon someone's trying to get in for free. Well, you know what I found out there was more to that story. See, I was upset with Christie because she did just show up and didn't want to buy
Starting point is 00:12:17 a ticket. And I did talk to her the night before. Tell her if you're going to come the tickets are $600 was the minimum price ticket. And she came and she didn't pay But then later she did pay but then she told me later that Marisol told her to come for free Oh For the show and she never to pay so she's always she's the one the devious one so I I Kind of felt that she was she's Honestly, I can't I feel like Marisol is always sneaking into people's photos. Like to this day, anytime any like Bravo Star goes to Florida,
Starting point is 00:12:52 it's like there is very small, every single time. She watches social media. If anybody's any celebrity is in Miami, she happens to go hang out where they are to get in that picture. I mean, she is, she's the one to be it girl. I mean, this is too much for her. I can't do it. Do we know how mom Elsa is?
Starting point is 00:13:10 She says. She was in poor health. I've reached out to her 50,000 times. Marisol is circle a wagon on one of my nearer and moved her out of her house. Marisol is living in the house now and the mom's living in some apartments. I'm aware. Wow. Maybe.
Starting point is 00:13:23 Yeah. So I have no regard. And how about is there an update on Adriana? Because last time, things were not good. I don't think up with her. You know what, when someone, I did so much for her for so many years, many years before the show, many, many, many years.
Starting point is 00:13:40 And then she comes on the show and says, oh, you only did these things for me for the show. Well, let's see, that was like seven years ago that I did all these things for you. I don't think I knew seven years ago we would have the reality show. And she's ungrateful. And she's, uh, feels entitled and she's a liar. And she's phoning. So I just feel like if someone's that person, I mean, I, what do I need them in my life for all? I'll never forgive her for making all her guess weight at her wedding for what? Like six hours? Oh, yeah. Remember that?
Starting point is 00:14:09 Why the way? That was season three. I was getting so mad. She's making all those guess weight there for hours and hours and hours. No one knew. And I heard from people at work at Val Harbor is her boyfriend, quote, who had been married to her for for two years before they pretended they were getting married. Was trolling while Harbour looking for pretty people to show up at the wedding for the show. Didn't even have to be able to win the wedding and they only had like 30 people. I mean there's all those so desperate. I just can't with these people.
Starting point is 00:14:40 So who are you like modern real housewives ladies that you hang out with? You're going to be passed to my own show right now. Well, I've always liked Joanna and the reason I liked Joanna was because those girls were also jealous of her. And she never flaunted her beauty. She never bragged about being fabulous or gorgeous. She was just herself and she was always trying to rescue the next dog and she was supporting her mother and she was always trying to rescue the next dog and she was supporting her mother and she was helping her sister. And you know, she marries a guy that owns a nightclub when she could amari to Saudi Arabia in Prince. I mean, so I always had a soft spot for her and I still do
Starting point is 00:15:13 and she's always been really good to me. We've always, I've never, she's always just been objective and nice. So I've always liked her. And, you know, I don't have any issues with Lisa. I Lisa and I get along fine, but Lisa says she's not a deep thinking. You know, I mean, she's not rescuing dogs, you know, I don't have a lot of knowledge. But she's understanding the immigrant experience. Do you remember that? Yeah. Two immigrants there. The Canadian immigrant experience. Yeah, but two immigrants are in her husband that are crump supporters. Yeah, got it. Yeah, exactly.
Starting point is 00:15:52 You know it's so funny. Joanna was on her show about a year ago. And we were just like bantering with her and we were like, well, Joanna, we do have to say, you do have the hottest husband. You're like, Romaine is so hot, you were so lucky, you got roommate, we were just going on, at least I was, I don't want to drag you into it. And you didn't know.
Starting point is 00:16:11 Literally at the next day, hit the news, like they're getting divorced, and she's like, yeah, no, he's great. He's got, like, aren't you so lucky? This is who Samuel were pronouncing his name wrong. It is, it's Roman. Yeah, it's Roman. It says his name wrong, and I was like,
Starting point is 00:16:23 well, don't spell your name like that is, if you don't want to come. Yeah, but he's from, he's Roman. It says his name, Ron. And I was like, well, don't spell your name like lettuce if you don't want me to call you. Yeah, but he is from, he is not from the state. He's like French. He's French, so it's French. He was French. He was our former co-host, Matt, which he's always called, Romain lettuce.
Starting point is 00:16:35 And we all started calling it that. So now in my mind, his name is Romain. I think it's, yeah. Yeah, it's always in my mind. But, you know, he's a lovely guy too. He's a nice guy. He's one of the nice guys. And, you know, I always, Lars and I, I was got along. But, you know, he's a lovely guy too. He's a nice guy. He's one of the nice guys. And, you know, I always, Lars and I,
Starting point is 00:16:46 I was gone long, but, you know, Lars always, always, a little standoffer. She didn't really want to film with the girls on the show. She wanted to film with her sister, her brother, one of her friends. She never really got into the groove of it. Yeah, she's actually one of my least favorite housewives of all time. A lot of people have said that.
Starting point is 00:17:02 I think she felt the first to ever be the best. She wanted, yes. We would play these games like, who's worse? He would like write down on paper. Who's worse? And I do like a flash card like this. Yeah, I was Hitler. Larza Pippin. I always remember it was like I was always like larsa pipin or I remember one time the one that really got you It was like what's worse larsa pipin or the economy? Oh God Oh yeah, you know Scotty I always have gotten along the horse. So I don't mean anything but she's got a great body I mean she works out she looks fabulous but and she got the cutest kid you've ever seen, but Scottie's really the real, sweet heart in that family. I mean, he's just, please, Scottie Pippin.
Starting point is 00:17:49 I think he's the first and then your last name is Pippin. You're musical. Yeah. You know, he, to my knowledge, you know, all those basketball players grow around. He never screwed around. He may like, he might like go to one of those club night clubs where the girls dance or something, but he never screwed around. He was always a really strong family man.
Starting point is 00:18:07 He treated her like a queen, put her on a pedestal. So I always had a soft spot for him too. And then Christie Rysed, believe it or not, other than the fact that we got into that bra, because I make everybody buy their tickets, including Roy Black, myself, Roy Jr., Black, I'm afraid to go, she buys the ticket. I mean, everybody buys the ticket.
Starting point is 00:18:24 So other than that, one incident with Christie, Christie was one of the most authentic people on the show, one of the most fun people, and Christie's an amazing mother. I mean, really, she is all about her kids. Everything is about, she spends every minute with them and every dollar on them. And our sister and her parents.
Starting point is 00:18:43 If it was happening now, what are your like modern friends? Would you have not modern? Oh my god. I have a lot of great friends in Palm Beach. And I want a great friends in Fort Lauderdale. So it would have to be housewives of Southern Florida. If it weren't going to be the friends that I really think are fabulous of hang out with.
Starting point is 00:19:02 You know, we're going to Palm Beach. Did Ryan tell you we're doing a show of Palm Beach? We're doing a show at the I think it's the Palm Beach the improv down there. Oh well you got if I'm into I don't think I'm a talent. I think you just I guess I don't think I'm there. You are. It's August 20. Oh yeah I am. I am. I go back before then. Then I'll come and I'll get some girls to come. But yeah but that most of my friends are you know North Miami Fort Lauderdale and and, uh, Palm, I would say Palm Beach. And then of course there's Jackie, Queen of
Starting point is 00:19:30 Resilience, Orlando. Oh my God. Jackie, I have a Metriot actually. I love her. She's just a Chetcho. She's hilarious. She really is. She's just like a walking reality show. She really is funny. So I mean, walking reality show. She really is, buddy. So I mean, I have a lot of really fun fascinating glamorous fabulous. But her husband, that's the one that's right there.
Starting point is 00:19:50 But the camera's in there. You know what I'm saying? That's what Kim Solce is. Not so much. I think what happened when they did the Queen of Versailles, which by the way, won awards at the Sundance Film Festival. That's great movie. Yeah, it was great.
Starting point is 00:20:02 And when they did that, that one dragged on for 18 months. And I'm going to be honest with you. If somebody had the, you know, my wife, for example, is doing a project and 18 months later to get the camera in my face, and I'm going bankrupt and struggling to save my business at the time, I'd probably be perturbed to. They trick her. They trick her. They trick her, but they definitely trick her.
Starting point is 00:20:21 She signed a horrible contract, and there's still benefiting it from from it today she's been a million dollars on lawyers getting out of it and so you know she she made mistakes you know but I don't blame her okay so she would be one of the house well I don't know she's an Orlando but you know I have to do it like I don't understand You could take your ideal cast in my am florida anywhere How about? So I couldn't pick them because they already have a show But I do have some great funny fabulous friends here too, but I'm listening a lot of the girls on the show here are my friends. So I like that.
Starting point is 00:21:06 It could make real housewives of the Hollywood Hills. Of the Hollywood Hills? I don't know about many people in the Hollywood. I have to have Jeff and Gage on there. You can see their house from here, right there. Thank you. Thank you. But I know that all the girls on the Beverly Hills show.
Starting point is 00:21:22 So they already have their own show. So that's kind of a, not- Would you ever guest on Beverly Hills if given the opportunity? No, I don't know. I think those guests, like, you know, I might, I wouldn't say I wouldn't have to think about it, but more likely they not know,
Starting point is 00:21:35 because I always feel like that those girls that go and hang on in the background and try to get in the picture. I always think it makes me cringe. So it would have to be something really organic and authentic. Like I can't tell you, many times I've been invited to one of their events where they're filming that I have.
Starting point is 00:21:52 I don't go or I go stay outside and when they're finished filming, I'll go in like an art gallery or something because I'm not going to be one of those people lurking in the background like, you know, I could hear you that are just desperately trying to get FaceTime on the camera and trying to get back on a show. I would never do that myself. That makes me so I just tried.
Starting point is 00:22:11 I just died for them. This is amazing though because I have a friend who is on the episode of Beverly Hills. So it's one of those part. Right. Yeah. You didn't even say anything out there. Right. There's a friend of somebody, somebody who's on you know.
Starting point is 00:22:24 Yeah. It's a friend of somebody who's on you know. Yeah. So anyway, you're one of those people, I mean, years later, people still come up with it. Yeah, had I never ever. But if I had never been on a housewife show and then they invited me to a party where they were having a housewives there, yeah, I'd probably do it. I would think nothing of it. But to go as a former housewife in the honest show. It's like you're desperately trying to get on a show or get back on a show or get on somebody's radar. I just find it to be. I think they should have you on there. I think Beverly Hills needs a little bit of like a spark and I think that they actually
Starting point is 00:22:56 should have you ask the real housewife. Well that's another story being a being actually a cast member. That's a different story than just being there, kind of getting in the back, like a little... I just like that. I like that. But I like their cast. I think the cast, I think the cast they have now is really good. I like the cast.
Starting point is 00:23:17 The cast is good, but it needs a spark. I think part of it is that I think Lisa Rina has to come back to life. I think she just decided to take a break last seasonina has to come back to life. I think she just decided to take a break last season, which I totally respect. Lisa Popporn, I think there was a little more to the, I kind of know the little backdrop on that, because I think there's a more to that story, but you know, I'm friendly with Rina. Rina has been so good to me. She has bragged about my skin care at nausea on her Instagram and on Jeff Lewis radio show, Chuck Sweat, Sud and Youth and how much she loves it and where to go online and buy it. I'm gonna leave that. I mean, it's go only at mad.com. You got to buy that
Starting point is 00:23:51 Sud and Youth, your scandal never looked better. I mean, she's like my biggest salesperson and you know, she's great on QVC. So I love her. She's been so good to me and I knew her before she was on the show and I love Harry who's so smart. Roy loves Harry because Harry's one of the smartest people you ever I mean really Harry could have been like a rocket scientist he's that smart really really smart. Well when we met Anne I was like so what did you do today right you know to love make for me because it's always like well I was building a new pyramid Egypt for 100 children.
Starting point is 00:24:25 He was the only, he had literally got to NASA, like a NASA, a Jeff Paulson, I love him for that. He was literally like up in like Monterey at some markets. Yeah, I, I, I, he's so smart. And then you know, I knew the Vanderpumps before. She was ever on the show. And then Kyle had my handbags and Kyle's store
Starting point is 00:24:41 for a couple of seasons. Kyle, Kyle, Kyle, Violin. And I know the girl that is her partner very well, Lizzie from she's from Southern Florida. So I know I have connections with all the girls. No, Alina, I think Alina, maybe your mother's name, I don't know, but her name is Lizzie. She's a great little girl. She's got two or three stores now. The open one they have to have two in Bokin and they have this one here. Kyle's name on it. And I like her. So Kyle, you know, I appreciate you Kyle putting my stuff in there. And you know, my art days have play days with Brandy's kids. Really? Back before, I don't even think Brandy was on the show yet. I'm not sure if she was,
Starting point is 00:25:18 she was just maybe barely that first season as a friend or something. But yeah, so I have connections with the girls here. So I feel that's organic. But to go on, the show's, I mean, even like I love Shelley at OK Magazine, but she invites me every time they have an OK Magazine party. And I'm like, you know what, if I'm in New York, or if I'm in LA, I'll go. But she's like, come on, you got to fly.
Starting point is 00:25:43 I'm not going to get on a plane and And fly to New York or fly to LA. To go to an okay party, okay magazine party, to get my picture tape. So I can be an okay magazine. We had a moment, we had a moment when we were like, I'm like, for like two months, we were on like the Star Magazine, okay magazine circuit, we got to go and walk the red carpet.
Starting point is 00:26:04 It was so fun. And I got like all these new outfits, our magazine, open magazine circle, we got to go and walked the red carpet. That's true. It was so fun. And I got like all these new outfits. Like, I was like, oh, it looks like we're going to be going these parties every month. And then they just stopped. This is the only time I saw a red carpet picture with Ben. I was next to Ben, I was standing like this. It's true.
Starting point is 00:26:18 It's true, bro. It's true, it's true. But you know, it's different. You guys are promoting your podcast. You're funny. You've got a good podcast going people like you It's not like you're a former housewife trying to beg to be back on reality They're fun parties. They're fun parties. I got to sit in the booth with the dance malls lady
Starting point is 00:26:40 Yeah, so rare no one was talking Her and she just had this boss ask who thought my ex-self, but they're like, she's, you know, I think she has like cancer too. I think she's like a hospital, like a jail hospital or something like that. No, I've been to a few other parties. When I was on the show, I went to their parties and then when I, if it's organic and I'm in town and Shelley says, come and hang with me. I'll do it. But I'm not going to get dressed, fly higher here, make up and close, and run there and pray that someone recognizes me, gets my picture like some of these former reality people do.
Starting point is 00:27:15 I just embarrassed for them. It just cringed. Like I didn't have any problem being on Jeff Lewis' show, because one, I've never been on that show, so it wasn't like I was on that show and then fired, and then, oh, I come back on and try to be on number one. Number two, we are generally good friends who lives five doors down.
Starting point is 00:27:34 And three, I was actually really renovating my kitchen. I mean, renovating my house and decorating it and putting it in the bar. So it was organic, you know, but I didn't like though, oh, I'm gonna, I'm gonna fix up my dressing room so I can go talk to Jeff about being on the show. I mean, those are the things I just find humiliating.
Starting point is 00:27:53 But how do you say that? Well, especially on Jeff, because then you do that to me on Tashhtha and then he'll just like embarrass you anyway, just for fun. I just for fun! I was talking about. Jack was on his show and he's like, what is this?
Starting point is 00:28:08 A best Western and not the best Western. Oh, that's right. Oh my God. I don't remember. It's like Robert Koolett threw up a best Western. But you know, Jack, he's got a good sense of humor. You know, she did not take offense to any of them. Jack just says good.
Starting point is 00:28:23 She did not take offense to that. She's like, oh, that's just Jeff. You know how Jeff is. You know that she's like oh, that's just Jeff You know Jeff is you know she's a good sense of humor He really is he really is hilarious I mean when he when they came on tour our live show. I mean he really like Turned it on he turned it on he got on stage and wow like the things he was saying things that he wasn't really supposed to be saying Yeah, well, that's what he always was I mean he was, it felt like he was laughing it up in the best way. Like because the audience was loving it, the audience has questions.
Starting point is 00:28:50 He was so good. And he would just start saying all these shady things. It was, he was so magnificent on our show. That's why his radio show, radio on Radio Andes, on Friday and the news. He was so much trouble, I love that. It's on Fridays at 11, at Eastern time. And I always make sure I'm at the office with
Starting point is 00:29:07 it on or in the car with it on because he's just so good on that radio show. Well, apparently Durrindo was on last week and she told a whole story about telling off someone at McDonald's. Yeah, I heard that. Did you hear about this? Oh, it's on. So she apparently Durrindo, the McDonald's worker was being rude to people in line and Durrindo's like, hey, Joey, be that way, you can't be mean to customers and they were like fuck you
Starting point is 00:29:28 Durinda so she called up corporate right and they actually fired the person. They got like 25 guests. Yes, you got to give some improvements. Yeah, I'm gonna be on his show on August 3rd here while I'm in L.A. How you been doing my hair show? Lunch with Leah. Lunch with Leah. Facebook. here to lunch with Leah. We are. Facebook.
Starting point is 00:29:46 Facebook long. Every week. Every Wednesday for two years minus the summer. But now they're putting it on all summer, the former shows. I guess you find it on iTunes. But then now, thanks to you, it's going to be on a podcast. Okay? Visit Acast, Sparklust.
Starting point is 00:30:02 Acast, yeah, but it's on iTunes now. The other time it comes back in September, all the aqua will be there for people to get. Yeah, right. That's why they're posting one or two a week now so people can catch up. It's funny. It's a funny show because it's just me sitting and talking trash and gossiping and Jason and James laughing at my jokes. I mean, it's really a flankful show. It's all about nothing.
Starting point is 00:30:24 And yes, it's all about show. It's all about nothing. And yes, it's all about nothing. It's also about nothing, laugh about being talk trash about everybody. You know, terrible. What are raising up with the show's neck is that it's going to be out of town for like a week and half in the audience. Yeah. What shows you can talk about? Well, I follow Beverly Hills. I follow Orange County. I follow New York. Okay, those are the only ones I really follow.
Starting point is 00:30:46 I kind of follow Atlanta a little bit now and then, I kind of follow Jersey a little bit now and then. But what I do is I teavow them and just kind of catch them all, you know, like during down time. But I, you know, I kind of catch the, I kind of like watching them now as an observer. It's a lot more fun than when you're a participant because when you're a participant,
Starting point is 00:31:07 you're some of this and a not waiting to see the next, what's the next thing in the show, where you need a fuller or something. So it's easy to comment to. I'm not so particular, are you like, and that was an 8.5. So you can start that back. Well, I can tell, and you know,
Starting point is 00:31:20 listen, I'm not an expert, and I can just be fooling myself, but I can almost guarantee you when it's contrived and when it's real and when it's authentic and I can pretty much tell It's going on behind the scenes because I've been there so much and the shows I find that work are the ones that just They just let the cameras ride That's what I always say and that was a problem with ours We're always driving some story some story, and somebody always had some agenda
Starting point is 00:31:48 and some this. And it wasn't organic enough. Well season two was amazing. Well season two was organic. It was pretty much all that was really organic. Yeah. But the first season, the state consistent with the people. Like in season two, they got all these new people.
Starting point is 00:32:03 And it was really hilarious. And then they got rid of all the things. Well, but then what happened season one, people and it was really hilarious and then they got rid of all the things. Well but then what happened season one they said it wasn't a housewife show when they filmed it was something else than they turned it into one and it was a very short season and season two they got it going really well. Then season three the producers took on other projects one in Atlanta and one I think somewhere in Brazil or whatever and they turned it over to other producers that worked for them.
Starting point is 00:32:28 And I just feel like the hate club just kind of hijacked the show. And it wasn't interesting anymore because once it becomes about, hey, hey, hey, get even good even, vindictive, get me more camera time. I want to flip a table. I want to pull here. It's not interesting anymore. Yeah. You know, they just couldn't let it go and move on.
Starting point is 00:32:44 They just got stuck on a mirror and go around and hate. And who wants to watch that? So I knew myself and I told people this at the time when we did the reunion, I just could read the production and Andy and everybody. I just felt that they weren't going to renew it. Yeah. I always felt like they were kind of... I also felt like with season three, Joanna,
Starting point is 00:33:06 I felt like Joanna held herself back. She did hold herself back. And I feel like anytime you have a cast member that does that, I think it actually has a big effect on the overall cast because if someone's not giving themselves all the reason she held herself back. Well, she was so open that she felt
Starting point is 00:33:22 like they were not gonna bring the show back. And she's like, if were not going to bring the show back. And she's like, if they're not going to bring the show back, I'm not going to ruin and destroy my, the rest of my reputation over a show that's not coming back. Oh, that's what you're saying. That's the first thing. She said, they're never bringing the show back, Leah. And I'm not putting myself out there. She said, these girls have done nothing but try to tear me down.
Starting point is 00:33:41 They've done nothing but try to make me look like the hooker in a whore. They've done nothing but try to destroy Roman. I'm noter in a whore. They've done nothing but try to destroy Roman. I'm not putting myself out there and going to give 100% to show that I know they're not going to bring back because who wants to watch this? That's what she said. And I tried, of course, my diplomatic way. You know, like, come on, you're in it, you got it, you're in it, you got to go for it, you know, and but she made up her mind.
Starting point is 00:34:03 Joanna, see everyone always said, Joanna is definitely a puppet. No, Joanna's the most independent thinker, stubborn, do it her way person. You'll ever meet, like when she got in that brawl with Brandy, I gave her great advice on what to do. She did the opposite. She didn't listen to me. So Joanna makes her own decisions.
Starting point is 00:34:21 Right. A lot of people felt like, you know, that she, I didn't influence her, I don't have any influence over her. Well, I think you're right. I think that when something's organic, when the producers have faith in their content, and they say, look, I'm just going to put the cameras up, and it will be compelling.
Starting point is 00:34:39 That's always the best, because the audience is sophisticated. The audience can tell when things are manufactured. And if you have good characters, interesting people, that's a better way to say. Yeah, it'll go on about it. It'll work and the audience will be there for it. I always feel like when producers try to drive it too much, try to manufacture it, it sort of falls flat. Well, then, you know, what happened on season two?
Starting point is 00:35:00 Dot, dot, dot. It's time for commercial. It's time. Celebrity beef. You never know if you're just going to end up on TMZ or trending on Twitter Season 2. Celebrity Beef, you never know if you're just going to end up on TMZ or trending on Twitter or in court. I'm Matt Bellasife. And I'm Sydney Battle, and we're the host of Wonder E's new podcast, Dis and Tell. Each episode explores a different iconic celebrity feud, from the build up, why it happened, and the repercussions.
Starting point is 00:35:25 What does our obsession with these feud say about us? We're starting off with a pretty messy love triangle between Selena Gomez and Justin and Haley Bieber, a seemingly innocent TikTok of Selena talking about her laminated eyebrows. It snowballed into a full-blown alleged feud. But it doesn't seem like fans are letting up anytime soon. Despite both Selena and the Bieber's making public statements denying any bad blood. How much of this is teen jealousy and lovers quarreling, and how much of it is a carefully crafted narrative designed to sell albums?
Starting point is 00:35:58 Follow this and tell wherever you get your podcasts. You can listen ad-free on the Amazon Music or Wonder Yeah. I'm for a crap and it's commercial. ever you get your podcasts. You can listen ad-free on the Amazon Music or Wondery app. I'm for a crap and it's commercial. What happened on season two, I saw the writing on the wall. The girls were also very jealous of current, the Latin girls. They were very jealous. Here she was gorgeous. She was from Columbia. For some reason, much of the Latin community has a problem with Colombian women. They have it in their head that Colombian women. They have it in their head
Starting point is 00:36:25 that Colombian women are just going to try to look pretty and steal all the men. So they had it in for a parent and they wanted to take her out from day one and I didn't agree with that and I didn't like it and I backed away from it. The minute they tried to suck me in I just backed away. So they were trying to get rid of a parent then they were trying to get rid of Joanna and then Marisol had to try to get rid of me because she got a major business look at. So they were trying to get rid of Karen. Then they were trying to get rid of Joanna and then Marisol had to try to get rid of me because she got a major business look back. So they always were like a hate group. And you know it's just and they found each other and that's just not interesting. It's like you have to mix the after mix it like Rahos was in New York does
Starting point is 00:36:58 it really good job of being totally hateful to each. Right. But then they kind of like move on. And then they move on. If you think about the things Iful to each other. Right. But then they kind of like, look at that move on. And then they move on. And if you think about the things like psych of each other just this year, it's like, we're not crying. But then they move on. But you know, the difference is, well, it's in my house, you know, on national TV, like, Root Bring, each other down.
Starting point is 00:37:15 But then the next day, it's like, okay, they get over and then they should see mine. But the thing is, they're more interesting people. New York, they're more interesting. I mean, honestly, they have substance. They have things to do. They have a life. These girls are mine. They had nothing going on. Yeah, I mean, I was like Lisa, like, I mean, honestly, they have substance. They have things to do. They have a life. These girls remind me of nothing going on.
Starting point is 00:37:26 I mean, I was like Lisa, like, just as a viewer. Like Lisa is like a nothing, Lisa Hawksdien. And then also, I can't remember what's her face. Who? I don't remember. Marisol. Marisol was like a nothing. Like she wasn't there because of her mother.
Starting point is 00:37:41 Yeah, she wasn't an interesting person. Where's in New York? They're all interesting. They're all uncertain about it. I can't help the way They're the girls in Miami that especially two of them They could dish out that criticism, but they could not take it You couldn't say anything to them without them going fucking crazy and holding a grudge for the rest of their life Yeah, whereas Joanne and I took the punches and we tried to laugh them off, but after like 12 episodes, we're like, we're done with it.
Starting point is 00:38:09 You know, we're trying to move on, you're not gonna move on, so we're not gonna just say, you're gonna take it anymore. And in New York, they move on. They do. They have it out, they move on. I mean, yeah, instantly. And so.
Starting point is 00:38:21 Well, I wonder if they move on or they just understand, look, we cannot sit in this fight for too many more episodes. Like, I may still be bitter, but I'm gonna move on because we've got a show to do. It could be that, too. But if you move on and then they completely, it's like they forgot. No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, It's been a lot of photos on Instagram of like Tamra Shannon and Vicky all hanging out having fun like even just today. Well they're smart, you know, if they want to have a show it's an unsolvable cast.
Starting point is 00:38:49 I think that's the thing. No one wants to watch this camera. And you know, that's the other thing. Well I think someone says something like this view, this fight, it's gotta be over. It's so hard to show. Just either like, either like fake it till you make it or figure it out. I think they're out of it. or the shows that they all have. Just either like fake it so you make it or figure it out. I'm just coming with her feelings here all the time. The camera isn't a lot of the party with anybody, you know.
Starting point is 00:39:10 Well a lot of it is when you feel like you're not getting hurt. And that was part of the problem, Miami. You had this gaggle of haters that were not gonna let anybody else get their side of the story out. You know, they would scream over you, talk over you, plot behind your back, can try, practice what they were gonna say, have rehearsals. I mean, they were not gonna let anybody get their side of the story out And so at that point you're just like stuck you're just like up against the wall like this isn't how I live my life
Starting point is 00:39:33 This isn't who I am in the world and I don't have people like you in my circle of friends. Yeah, so what are we doing here? You know, whereas in New York you get the feeling a lot of those girls like a lot of them are Jewish and they got that whole little Jewish thing going on and they have a click amongst themselves and you get the sense that they're friends. You know the same thing in like Jersey they were family or they were long term friends and you get that feeling. My enemies got the feeling that they were aligning. They were aligning themselves.
Starting point is 00:40:04 You know, they had these alignments and they couldn't you couldn't cross the room What you run this team you couldn't say anything nice about the person on that team yet Stupid do you watch sudden charm at all? I don't I think you would like that I think you really would suck and anymore shows I'm too busy watching Trump destroy the planet So show. Some of the busy watching Trump destroy the planet. That's the reality show too. That's where we ask for your backslurry. That is a two hour show. That's not an easy show to get through. Backslurry out. You want to be beloved that show though. And our into what's hilarious. Yeah. But an hour into the show, you're like, the world was empty. It's like done, done, done, done, done, done, done, done, done, done, done, done, done, done, done, done, done, done, done, done, done, done, done, done, done, done, done, done, done, done, done, done, done, done, done, done, done, done, done, done, done, done, done, done, done, done, done, done, done, done, done, done, done, done, done, done, done, done, done, done, done, done, done, done, done, done, done, done, done, done, done, done, done, done, done, done, done, done, done, done, done, done, done, done, done, done, done, done, done, done, done, done, done, done, done, done, done, done, done, done, done, done, done, done, done, done, done, done, done, done, done, done, done, done, done, done, done, done, done, done, done, done, done, done, done, done, done, done, done, done, done, done, done, done, done, done, done, done, done, done, done, done, done, done, done, done, done, done, done, done, done, done, done, done, done, done, done, done, done, done, done, done, done, done, done, done, done, done, done, done, done, done, done, done, done And then it becomes this announcement thing.
Starting point is 00:40:46 And the graphic they use is the Supreme Court. They did it. Justice Kennedy, he's gone. They already announced that they're just basically saying it's another generic white guy. Because of course it's going to be a white guy. It's going to be a white guy. Of course it's going to be a white guy. And an empty suit. I mean
Starting point is 00:41:05 I'm at the end of both episodes at the end of the Trump episode and the best world episode I mean they both ended up taking shortcuts. They were casting. Well the good news is they rescued all those those soccer players. That's right. I found that. But I have a question. They finally got us. Well, like some kids.
Starting point is 00:41:27 They were nine or 11 was the youngest one. And then they were up to 15 to 17. I don't know. And the coach was like 25 years old. What, they how would I know? Yeah, this is safe. Of all the things I've been reading, not a single thing I've read so far has explained
Starting point is 00:41:40 why they went into a cage. Well, someone told me to cage. But somebody told me today they were just exploring. But I mean, I wouldn't listen. If you're on a soccer team, the coach says, let's go explore. That's one thing. But if my son came to me and said, hey, my coach wants to go explore these cages in Thailand.
Starting point is 00:41:57 And like, yeah. During monsoon season. Yeah. Oh, not happening. So I don't know a lot of the culture. And they just do that there or it's like a tourist thing and everyone tourist these caves but I mean whose decision was that? I know I'm like no now that they're all safe. I feel like I could start saying like so why did
Starting point is 00:42:18 we go in there in the first phase because when they're still like a question it's like you can't ask that. You just have to have a good. And one guy died. I know a but I know. I know. But I know. I know. I know. I know. I know. I know. I know. I know. I know.
Starting point is 00:42:31 I know. I know. I know. I know. I know. I know. I know. I know.
Starting point is 00:42:39 I know. I know. I know. I know. I know. I know. I know. I know. I know. I know. I know. I know. I know. I know. I know. I know. I know. I know. I know. I know. I know. I know. I know. I know. I know. I know. I know. I know. I know. I know. I know. I know. I know. I know. I know. I know. I know. I know. I know. I know. I know. I know. I know. I know. I know. I know. I know. I know. I know. I know. I know. I know. I know. I know. I know. I know. I know. I know. I know. I know. I know. I know. I know. I know. I know. I know. I know. I know. I know. that it down to the last group coming out in eight hours. Do you know what it's like to be underwater swimming when you never scuba dovetail in all dark cage a cave for 11 hours. I can't. I'm it's not man. I can't even run. I'm going for 11 hours. That's why I'm going to cave. Or I went on the subway with Frankie
Starting point is 00:42:58 Grande and I got so claustrophobic under ground. I thought I was going to get out of the line. That's a lot. I mean, under the ground in the summer, it was like, I can't be, I can't be underground in Thursday. Yeah, would you go into a cave with Frankie Grande? No! Maybe they went into the cave with Frankie Grande. Yeah, just like. The cave was like, what's that?
Starting point is 00:43:17 There's too much noise in the cave with the rocks. Who's like doing mama Mia? I love him so much. He's got to be one of the most fascinating. He's the gayest gay guy I know. I think he's the gayest gay guy. He's glitter gay. Glitter gay. I love him so much. I think you're a bi... He's so good. He's so talented. What was that we saw him in, uh, Ronnie?
Starting point is 00:43:44 The Rocky Gold? Oh, yeah, he was good and then he's a mom of me. He has a one-man show. He has a one-man show. Yeah, he's done it at several times. Frankie Frankie Frankie. Three Frankie's one Frankie. He's so good.
Starting point is 00:43:57 I was like, I believe that. I believe that's like three Frankie's all played by one Frankie's. Frankie's because we only know him from seeing Big Brother. Yeah. Yeah. Oh no, I just know him from seeing Big Brother. You're so early. Yeah. Oh no, I just love him. And I love his mother more. She cannot stand on the front of the mother.
Starting point is 00:44:12 So I love her for that. And this sister is adorable too. They're a great family. I mean, that mom, single mom, raising those two kids and both of them turning out to be fabulous like that. I mean, she can't lie. My hat's off to Joan Grande. I like that. I mean, my hats off to Joan Grande. I love her. I just love the name. Joan Grande. I prefer a Venti. I heard
Starting point is 00:44:34 Joan Grande will no longer have straws. She's amazing that way. I just love that the name is so like a like out exact Grande, but her name is like very like normal Jim You know a John Grande They are very well. I remember on day is really beautiful. Yeah, I do I wanted to change up her look though I really wanted to change up her look Well to Pete Davidson You know when you're engaged at 25, does it mean any to get disaster? Let's see if she gets married. I don't know. He's cute enough, you know? He is cute, but he's kind of a disaster. Is he? Yes, I know that. Yeah. I mean,
Starting point is 00:45:15 he's funny. I mean, am I never heard of him before? He has been in that rehab and like bipolar, all that stuff. I mean, I hope to rehab his stuff. I'm not saying that being out of control. No, the bipolar thing is serious, because when people are bipolar, I mean, that is so hard to manage a control for your lifetime. The rehab thing, you know, people get over it. I didn't know any of that. But, you know, she would be a good influence on him,
Starting point is 00:45:35 because let me tell you something. She doesn't smoke. She doesn't eat anything she shouldn't. She doesn't drink. I mean, you know, they live a very pure life. And so does Frankie. I mean, he will look at his body. He doesn't have a tenth of an you know, they live a very pure life. And so does Frankie. I mean, he will look at his body. He doesn't have a tenth of an ounce of body fan on him.
Starting point is 00:45:50 His body is perfect. I mean, he works out like a few and he's in great shape. You know, so she would be what influenced. I'm now quietly spiraling down. I'm going to, I'm going to go just spiral down that way. I did have a salad today, so I'm riding high. But I made pasta. You had a salad and then you had the soufflé chocolate. Because I did before I came over. I said I want to stick a butter so that when I get home, I can make the banana bread.
Starting point is 00:46:23 Oh, you're still making the banana bread. Oh my god. Are you on a new recipe? I'm learning get home and make the banana bread. Oh my god. Oh you're so making the banana bread. I mean, the stuff's for a while. Are you on a new recipe? I'm learning this one. It's like half a bar. It's like, I'm on the food network star. I have all my little things. Question, questions.
Starting point is 00:46:34 So the first one didn't work out. Oh, you didn't have nut dollars. Yeah, it's perfect. No, it's beautiful. So what do you need to do? Okay, so listen, why don't you take oatmeal and bananas and mash them up, okay? And put a little egg white in there,
Starting point is 00:46:45 and then just to make yourself some banana milk cookies in their healthy, light and not bad. And now is that all you want to do? Oh, okay. One way. And a little bit of egg white in there. And when you call it oatmeal, and then you have a great little cookie,
Starting point is 00:47:02 and it's not like loaded butter. I mean butter is not good for you You know the French are thin the French are thin I literally have a stick of butter you know butter. I mean butter. Obviously not the health is But it's also not the enemy sugars the enemy No butter is not that bad, but it's not like you don't believe it or not. Lord is not bad. Lord has a reputation being like the worst, but here's the story with Lord. So Lord actually has sugar as the enemy and I'm the worst at that. So Lord, you know, Lord is an animal fat, you know, and there are actually some real health
Starting point is 00:47:40 benefits from Lord and what happened, Lord was a very common fat that was used and back in like the 1920s when productoring gamble, I think it was productoring gamble came out with Crisco which is like vegetable shortening which is really, that's like the worst. They needed to sell it and so they basically released a smear campaign on Lard saying Lard is terrible for you and that's how Lard became smarter. Well Lard really much better for you than Crisco but if you make that's how Lord became smarter. Much more better for you than Chris guy, but if you meet that banana, not bread, drink bread.
Starting point is 00:48:07 I think she loves that. I was gonna make it before I just saw my house. I know, so. And then also the bread, then and Lea banana. I would have given my bread. Oh, I know, this is so good. Well, I would have had a salad.
Starting point is 00:48:24 No, no, no, no, I would have had a salad in the big one. No, no, no. I would have totally had it. By the way, with lard also, I'm set talking all this stuff about lard. I still have never cooked with it, or used it. But people actually will scrape, use it as a spread on things.
Starting point is 00:48:37 And apparently it's delicious. It's not nearly as bad. It's like lard is better. I don't know. I don't know. Border 10, you don't get away with how to be lard. Everything's made with lard. Like, Turkey is when they like this. Oh my god. I want to cook something with lard is like butter. I don't know, border 10, you don't get away with how to eat lard. Everything's made with lard. Like, tortillas, that's when they don't like this.
Starting point is 00:48:47 Oh my god. I want to cook something with lard now. Oh my god. I'm ready. Now you guys are making me hungry. Yeah. So Arte had to go to El Picolino for lunch. I'd take him there.
Starting point is 00:48:58 That's where he wanted to go to day. Where is that place? Oh, it's down in Robertson and something. Oh yeah. I heard it good. But it's very good. But Arte is a connoisseur of food. I mean, he has an eating machine
Starting point is 00:49:08 and he knows it ever is from good food and not good food. And he always wants to go to the good places. I'm happy just going down, getting a salad at Trigree. Do you know? Mom, we gotta go, here we gotta go to Santana. So we have to go to Santana as we got here. I've never been to Santana. Yeah, I mean, we're not going to go to Mal.
Starting point is 00:49:24 We're all going to the great food. Roy goes to Mel's for breakfast I've never been to that kind of. Yeah, I don't mean anything. He won't go to bed. That was all the great things. Roy goes to Mel's for breakfast every morning. Argy's like, I'm not going to go down. I know the other day, no Gage said. I saw you at Mel's the other day and he goes, why didn't you say hi? Because you look like you were just reading. Yeah, I love to go there and just read my paper.
Starting point is 00:49:41 That's what he was like. It's a fucking weirdo. Wait, Jeff and Gage saw each other at Mel's and didn't say hi to each other. No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, He brings me two scrambled eggs and he brings RJ and iced tea and then RJ gets up and makes a protein shake and makes his own eggs. You know, it's a great play. He's throwing two feet in the corner. Oh my god, it's so tall. It's ridiculous. You know, it's a great place for breakfast. It's Ray Publike on La Brea.
Starting point is 00:50:18 It is fantastic. Oh, Ray Publike. Well, it's great. Actually, dinner. Where on La Brea? It's La Brea, like Jeff's out the sixes between six and a little shirt. I know, it is. It's one of the best restaurants I've ever seen.
Starting point is 00:50:27 After I write it down. It's basically Republic, but they help me. I have the right to talk. And they're breakfast, it's delicious. And what I like about it is, it sounds so pretentious to say, but it actually feels very European in there. It feels like being in one of those like Parisian cafes. Yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 00:50:41 Because you line up the air conditions. I know. So like, you go to extreme. But you place your order and then you go, they give you a number and you sit down somewhere, but there's like a lot of people that you that are there, you can tell like before work, you know, like, you know, it's sort of like that sort of city that like, like, I have to counter thing, but it's not a diner, but it's, wait, I'm gonna write it down, gonna write it down right Ray public there how do you spell it Ray it's R E P okay R E R E P and then you you L I Q U E and are you sure that's just not the Republic? No it's it's a
Starting point is 00:51:18 Republic you hit and it's on La Brea and six yeah just out Brea. And six. Yeah, just out the six. And they are, like if you just get like their basic breakfast just like eggs are amazing. The bread is I think homemade. It's like, it is so extraordinarily good. And they're bacon. It's like to die for. It's called bread.
Starting point is 00:51:36 And they also have a bakery. It's so bad now too. Okay, I'm gonna have banana bread. And maybe some other kind of bread. You guys, I can't wait. Okay, let's wrap this up. Let's wrap it up. What are we talking about? Well, you guys, we're not having any more gossip. There guys, I can't wait. Okay, let's wrap this up. Let's wrap it up. What do we talk about?

I haven't looked at my headlines today. I've been ostriching. I was a bit of a little tired. Well, there was a fire in Griffith Park.
Starting point is 00:51:58 There's a fire in the soccer player's got out. There's an Supreme Court in the middle. There's a lot in the soccer player's. They got out. Supreme Court. White guy in an empty suit getting replaced by another more right wing right right. Exactly. But Anna Brett is.
Starting point is 00:52:12 Lord is good. Not bad for you. And the original two feet tall. Then he was listening. I think that covered. I'm straight. I'm right. I'm right.
