He just any grill to her on all this stuff and yeah, she probably could have used a little coaching before she went on

bullodic midi-terranean honi! Bullodic Mediterranean are you cray Ray? Real Housewives of Potomac.
Oh, Real Housewives of Potomac.
Oh my God, I do have a case of the Mondays.
You do have a case of the Mondays.
You just went right to Tuesday.
I don't know.
I always appreciate it.
I thought any of this happened on Belodak Mediterranean.
I'm going to get into what Monique said as we talk about Belodak Mediterranean.
Here's how I would have done Belodak Mediterranean today. I like you're like, you know, I'm gonna get into what Monique said as we talk about the low deck Mediterranean.
Here's how I would have done below deck Mediterranean today.
First meeting, I went to Howard, I'm just to congratulate you from Howard.
You've gone damn idiots.
Yeah, let's just do Potomac with blow deck med voices.
Now listen, between me and me and Candy Ass over there it was instant chemistry you know.
We were real good friends us too.
I brought my security his name is KB Gavre KB.
Oh you shouldn't have grabbed a ball the heel on there.
I'm embarrassed but I'm not remorseful.
Rob could have just been baby Dean.
Wawa, wawa, wawa, wawa.
Wawa.
Wawa.
But she made a mistake.
I'm totally out of it.
OK, so Rojas was a Potomac Opens
with a love letter to the close, unbreakable friendship of Monique and Candy-ass.
Yeah, we got this big previously,
that's narrated by Candace, which already shows
which side the, you know, production's on.
And she's like, you know, Monique and I, Monique,
you know, Monique and I were friends
and we like, we hit bumps along the way
but we were always able to come back
and we see them being friends, we see them like getting into an argument at like the pumpkin patch last year.
And then, but we see them like, you know, apologizing at the reunion and just like saying that they really, they really are real friends.
Yeah, and seemingly out of nowhere, she just flipped on me.
Um, yes, and then it ends with I'm gonna kill this girl and
cauliflower, the call the famous cauliflower on the floor, the
cauliflower, the poor, the real victim here, the cauliflower.
By the way, I have to say this episode was tremendous. I
loved this episode. It was fascinating to me. This is like
the equivalent of like a bottle episode on TV, you know,
bottle episode being that like, they are, they
got to do an episode but they run out of money in their budget so they just have all the
characters at a room just talking, you know, and that's basically what this was and it
was great because it was both hilarious and also like very like visceral, you know, I thought
was like important stuff being discussed about but somehow it could still also be funny.
I loved it.
Well, I loved all the music because the music, you know, the music
department on this show really ups it every time. And I think they've
really found a niche in housewives horror music because they've got so much
of it. And they really branched out this time. And we don't only have
that squeak of the horror door opening and closing.
But this time they added the horror triangle
like the instrument the triangle.
It's just like, right. Bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing, bing or a triangle. So I was already in. And there were a lot of echoey flashbacks.
You just hear voices, just echoing through the show,
which was really a great touch.
And so the episode opens up.
It's five days after the fight.
And there's that serious beat with a horror triangle.
And we just see Candice arranging plates
in her living room very seriously or a dining room.
And that's like her whole scene.
Like everything that we were about to say
is set against the backdrop of Candice,
stacking some plates, moving them somewhere else,
and moving other plates into the plates
where the other plates were.
I'm like, why is this the image that we're going with?
Because I guess when you're really traumatized,
you can only stack plates.
We've all been there.
You can just find every mismatched plate in your house
and just stack them up.
I'm not really sure what she was doing, but I kind of felt it.
I yeah. So she was like putting like the smaller plates on top of the
larger plates, making her little stack of plates.
And we have these like these violent flashbacks.
Are we just keeping hearing Karen saying,
no,
Nick let her go.
Oh,
Nick let her go.
Yeah, the echo.
Oh!
Mmm, mmm, mmm, mmm. Secure, t-t-t-t-t-t-t-t-t-t-t-t-t-t-t-t-t-t-t-t-t-t-t-t-t-t-t-t-t-t-t-t-t-t-t-t-t-t-t-t-t-t-t-t-t-t-t-t-t-t-t-t-t-t-t-t-t-t-t-t-t-t-t-t-t-t-t-t-t-t-t-t-t-t-t-t-t-t-t-t-t-t-t-t-t-t-t-t-t-t-t-t-t-t-t-t-t-t-t-t-t-t-t-t-t-t-t-t-t-t-t-t-t-t-t-t-t-t-t-t-t-t-t-t-t-t-t-t-t-t-t-t-t-t-t-t-t-t-t-t-t-t-t-t-t-t-t-t-t-t-t-t-t-t-t-t-t-t-t-t-t-t-t-t-t-t-t-t-t-t-t-t-t-t-t-t-t-t-t-t-t-t-t-t-t-t-t-t-t-t-t-t-t-t-t-t-t-t-t-t-t-t-t-t-t- still have trauma from being grabbed by my hair and pulled down onto a table and then
we see flashes again and she's cleaning the table really hard now.
Yeah, she's like trying to wipe away the trauma of the table.
It's like, they're really punctuating her trauma with some windexing, you know, just
to drive it home.
Yeah, she's really going at those plates.
I mean, listen, if ever you've suffered some trauma, just get some dollar store plates and scrub them very, very hard on the table.
That's right. So she's like, you know, I'm in shock and what really twists the knife
is that we had it that she was a genuine friend in my mind and she called me her sister and
so I'm just trying to understand what I could have done to warrant this kind of behavior.
I mean, I'm in a complete loss. It makes me sad.
Well, there are a few things you could have done. Probably, you know, listen, it's not,
I'm not making victim shaming because Monique is really very much in the wrong. But in
terms of like where things went awry, like you were being a little crazy at the winery
as well, you know? Yeah, she forget that she, this is a whole episode of her being like,
what? I have no idea. Well,
I have no idea what happened. So then we get new horror drums. And it's like a kind of an upbeat
horror music song. And then we go over to Monique's house and she's you know with her kids and she's
like, could you kids do me a favor and not wake up at 6 in the morning and climb
into our bed?
You know why?
Because I'm exhausted, okay?
Yeah.
She's had a busy day of telling people she's exhausted, you know, and that's exhausting.
It is, yeah.
And Chris is like, well, maybe that stress is what led up to what happened.
Yes, probably.
We're also, she is, has a little bit of a violence streak in her.
I don't know.
They sort of get into that later on.
What I was really most concerned about was that in all these years of looking at Monique's
house, I never realized that she had one of those hanging chairs in her living room. And by those hanging chairs, I mean,
it's like a plexiglass sort of circle that hangs from the ceiling.
You know, like those sand bees chairs, yeah.
And so here in this like mecca
for Ashley home furnishings,
there's this random attempt to have like a very chic,
you know, Miami hotel or the standard hotel
Seating things just sitting there and I'm like first of all that also is balls
You have you have Chris Amuels in this household and you're gonna put a hanging seat from the ceiling
That is balls, okay
Is that like a two-rest frame?
It was so many little kids
What would you have done with that chair as a little kid?
I've got to not believe I mean that's a strong chair. I'll say that. That is a strong chair, but it also didn't match anything.
I was like, are you really trying to make your living room
into a club right now?
It was like right next to like a normal chair.
I was like, it bothered me so deeply.
I had the whole time I could imagine putting my little
baby sister in that chair and then pulling it all the way back
and standing up on a couch and then just pushing it as hard
as I can and swinging it.
Just waiting to see if I can get her to like,
swing it across the room or something.
Those chairs are truly only made for photos.
Like if anyone's ever been to the standard hotel
in Los Angeles, it's made partially famous
because of that second city episode back
when the ladies went to LA for the first time
and was like, wow, there's a lady in a glass case.
As soon as you walk in the front door,
they've got two of those chairs just hanging right in front of you.
And every time anyone who's gone to the standard hotel
for the very first time ever, including yours truly,
you just jump into those chairs,
like, oh my God, somebody take a picture of me,
there's a chair hanging from the ceiling.
Mine would just be covered in like moisturizer and skin marks,
you know, like the, the, the, the marks for my skin or whatever.
So Monique is like, well, here, I don't remember anything.
I'm just, I'm getting flashes of things, but I just don't remember the order it happens.
So I'm going to call Karen and see if she can help me get everybody to get there.
So she's like kind of phrasing it.
She's kind of setting it up to be this mystery where everybody can help her remember what happened.
Yeah, it's like sort of a weird thing.
I think it's her way of delaying her emotional response.
I think that maybe she's probably trying to take
the temperature of the room before she gives
an official response and the way she's gonna do that
is by pretending she can't remember anything at all.
And so needs to, needs everything pieced together courage under fire style.
Yes, I'm not remembering that she's already given a full confession on camera.
She's got my staff what happened.
So she calls Karen and she's like, what's up Karen?
I'm just, you know, Chase is saying hi and Karen's like, hello, bang, hello.
I have no more money for you bank I've already
given you half of everything I own call Ray bank so she's like money it's like I want
to trust the ladies because you know they were put in the harm's way and you know I feel
really bad about that and then we like cut the chala cleaning his talon like you know
one of the victims of this is the chalaalla. And then, um, uh, she's just saying that she just wants like,
everyone to get together except for Candace.
And, you know, you're such a neutral person.
I was wondering if you could host us,
because you're so neutral.
Oh, yes, of course, I am very neutral.
They're actually debating me and the FCC, current neutrality.
And you know what? I'm gonna win.
This should be about you, saving your truth.
Unless your truth is
you don't know if you're in love with me
anymore after I make you a miso glazed
chilean Z-Bass. My house is a safe place
you got that chair spank so all my money's
in the wall. So then Eddie is on the phone
with Wendy and he's like well are you
ready for this encounter? She's like
I don't know because what I saw I saw what I saw and right is right
and wrong is wrong.
And that we're supposed to go sit and have a conversation with her.
Yeah.
And so she's not really, she's already like not really feeling this.
Then we see Robin on the phone with her mom.
And Robin's like, Monique is the kind of person that makes excuses for her behavior.
And then Jacelle is talking to her, her daughters
and saying how she predicting that Monique's not going to feel bad whatsoever. So clearly,
all these women are really not anticipating a lot of contrition from Monique.
Yes. And Jiselle, who's very Christian today and very Christian now in general because
she's the first, about to be a first lady again at some point. I'm guessing, Angel's like,
are you gonna forgive her?
And she's basically like, no.
Very Christian.
Yeah.
So then we go over to Karen's house
and Karen is setting out some tea or some shit.
And...
Decorative boards.
Decorative boards.
Yes, decorative boards.
Decorative baths and decorative boards.
Decorative boards and also...
Oh, of course.
Giant bath. Okay, yeah. Yeah. She got also a giant bath from Le Pencotidian. Bats and decorative boards. Different of gourds and also, she got giant bags.
Yeah, she got also a giant bag from Le Pen Cotidian.
So she's like, she's also got,
got that, has that going on.
And what I loved about this is,
when we go over to Karen's house,
she's very quiet,
because this is a very serious thing that's happening.
And then there's no music playing
and she's very silently, painfully putting out these gourds.
And then they cut to, you know putting out these gourds and then they
like cut to you know the little interstitials they showed what says like this is Karen
scene and they just do that interstitial where she has her hands on her chest and she's
like doing that laugh like ha ha ha me yes me it just was like so strange with this very
serious scene of her like elegantly laughing at the camera.
Well I'd be laughing too putting out decorative gourds I mean that's basically what half So strange with this very serious scene of her elegantly laughing at the camera.
I'd be laughing too putting out decorative gourds. I mean that's basically what half of Bravo would look like without plastic surgery.
So she calls Candace and she's like hello Candace how are you?
And Candace is like pretty good. I'm on my way to therapy where I'm going to lie my fucking face off. How are you doing? And Karen's like, well, I just wanted you to know what's going on at this end of things, me and my gourds, and the spirit of writing wrongs.
We're gonna hear what Monique has to say because she's coming to my home.
And if you want the opportunity for all the ladies here from you, you are welcome to my safe space.
Because it's important. We all have the opportunity
to hear from the both of you before we cast all votes in this election. Chris Wallace, take the floor.
So Candace is like, well, I think it's very gracious of you, Karen, to extend grace to Monique,
but I've spoken to all the women and everyone saw what happened and she has shown who she is and what she is all about.
And Karen, the entire time, Karen just like,
Can we be good to die?
Can we continue the end background?
Well, Santa Karen, here you are putting out some
some still close-ups that have no combination.
Well, it doesn't, I have to say, Karen, it doesn't sit well with me that you were extending
this much grace to her. And she's like, well, that's't I have to say Karen it doesn't sit well with me that you were extending this much grace to her and say well
That's what I am. I'm a grace and a file regular
Red Butler over here. All right
That's what that's what I do. I was gonna make the same joke actually. Oh, yeah, I mean, that's it just it writes itself
How can you not you know, you can be a real housewife soon? I mean, I feel like she's ready for that
So how can you not you know, you're gonna be a real housewife soon. I mean, I feel like she's ready for that
I mean, what is she doing these days?
Yeah, you want to talk about someone who will punch you right in the face. It's Brett Butler, okay? Yeah, she's terrifying
Oh, so there's silence and the Candace is like okay Karen and she's like well, I'm putting out cookies, you know
That's who I am. That's what I do and I'm going to change that because people I love are on opposite sides of these gourds.
So then Robin shows up and then Jizzell arrives like chewing some gum and then like the camera
pans to the left as when Jizzell arrives and we see that there's this guy named KB who's a personal security. So they
just all brought personal security. Come on. Yeah. Karen Bueger. That's what KB stands for.
So, and you can see Karen was so pissed, not that not that Jizzel not not that Jizzel brought
security, but that Jizzel thought of bringing security before Karen thought of it, you know
It's a camera's like oh security
It's weird to ask that question in this tone security
Look at security there while I was calling few years ago when Jizzel was on top of me
So that would have been nice if you had shown up then
So they put KB in the kitchen
Which is kind of money just like sit there in the kitchen, which is kind of funny, just like sits there in the kitchen all at the
She's like, can you sit in the kitchen KB?
You're gonna sit here anyway, so you'll be close enough just sit there KB
Tell me
Do you related to Mr. KB of the Toys to have?
Because I'm looking to get some Legos for Raven
So to Zal tells us there will not be a Google search and it says just a little Bryant was in an altercation fighting
Fighting and wig snatching
None of that the security guard right here will ensure that none of y'all ask it frocky
Yeah, so I
Don't know. I would like to see KB at work because he looked a little lethargic
He did yeah, he he did because I think that security guys like that. It's like okay
Here's your job stand around all day eating something and then just separate people
When you're not separating people you're just like sitting there like
Yeah, at least you're getting paid to sit there. Yeah, exactly. Front row seat. So Karen wants Monique, Karen's saying that Monique wanted
to dress everyone. And she's like, and then if you have any questions, this is the time
to ask them. Okay, press conference. Okay, who has a question? No heads up. Anyone? Anyone?
No? Okay. The croissant is from La Panicatidean, the Gord. Well, I'm not going to say where I got
that. And just like, well, I have commentary, but no questions.
Ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding,
That's that ring doorbell that haunts us all these days.
I hate the ring doorbell sound.
And Ashley has wrote her spokesperson in baby Dean.
Wai, wai, my baby city was available, so on eating lunch in while out.
And by eating lunch in I mean snacking on mommy's titties.
Where I've brought home cooking out for the day, ladies.
It's a little DIY as in put the nip in yourself
Where problems cracking up and Karen's like team can't be part of this
You got to the beauty the juxtaposition of just helping you a bodyguard because she's terrified for her life And then actually bringing her baby. I know and they put baby Dean with KB initially
So that was what's like KB and baby Dean are like in like the JV corner
If a fight breaks out someone's just gonna throw a baby at your head
Where we have come to save the day
I'm just a baby, but I can grab your ass and distract you away from danger
Yeah, and Karen's like you can't bring a baby to the ass and Dean is smiling so big
He's like, are you kidding?
I wouldn't miss this for the world.
I told all my favorite little toys on my mobile,
what I'm doing today.
I said, I'm gonna go see an intervention
and little elephant and little airplane will like,
I'm so jealous.
And I said, suck it.
Where, where?
I told Buzz Lightyear, buzz your green within V. Where, it, where where? I told Buzz Lightyear, Buzz, you're green with envy.
Where where?
I said, I said blanky, you stay here in the crib and I'll tell you everything, don't
even try to come, this is my moment, where where?
Come here comes one right now.
Raising kids can be one of the greatest rewards of a parent's life.

feel less alone.
So if you'd like to laugh with us as we talk about the hardest job in the world, listen
to, I love my kid, but wherever you get your podcasts.
You can listen ad free on the Amazon Music or Wondry app.
So Karen's like, well, just out of broad security.
His name is KB if anyone wants to say hello to him, Dean.
Well, hello KB. I like your ass. Where were?
I'm quite enjoying the dinner you've
set out for me KB. Like, let go of his boob.
And appropriate. I have a question for KB. Have you ever played that tour where you put a square through a square hole?
Gold that sephon, isn't it?
Wait, wait. So I asked, she's like, well, I saw Monique today after it happened and she said she's not proud of her actions.
And Robin's like, well, she's fine. You should read her tweet.
And then we see the tweet and Monique tweeted, ask and you shall receive.
I mean, Monique, again, stop confessing on camera, stop confessing on Twitter, you're like,
what are you doing?
Stop.
Yeah, exactly.
Exactly, especially if you're going to try to be, you know, you're going to have a humble
moment, but you're going to say like, you don't remember what happened, but then you're
going to like be tweeting about it and it's not going to work.
That would be, and then Karen're going to like be tweeting about it. Yeah. It's not gonna work. That would be.
And then Karen shows her just made by going
A very deep nose breath.
She's straight.
Well, great news everyone.
That booker that was lingering there as down my throat.
So open air passages.
And then we get a new garage band violin set as Monique drives and she calls Chris and she's like, well
this just makes me nervous because everybody's already got their minds up minds made up and he's like, well hopefully
Everything will be better. I'm disappointed obviously because I like that couple. Mike. Why do you keep talking to Chris about that?
He's gonna change his answer, you know, I know
Also, Chris's boy, I think he just woke up from a nap
because it was even deeper and like,
Huskier than normal.
So he actually sounded like he was on like,
in like a witness protection program at this point.
Like it just was like, I'm like,
this is not his real voice.
Have we just been,
have we just been,
are we just being bamboozled all this time?
Is it like, is his voice really like,
hey, Monique, what's going on?
Yeah, it's a special Chris filter. Yeah. Monique is also, Monique, what's going on? Yeah, it's a special Chris filter.
Yeah.
Monique is also, what I like about Monique is that she's coming here to basically ask for forgiveness
more or less, but she's also wearing a shirt that is like all the awful colors of her guest
house and her lake house, all in weird color blocking.
And it's like her way of saying,
I'm going to subliminally remind you guys
that I invited you to my house.
So you have to be on my side.
Well, she's also gonna remind them
with her shoes and her purse
that she's richer than all of them put together.
That's true too.
Not the most humble.
Like if there's any time to whip out
like a Michael Corus purse, it's today, you know?
Yeah.
So then Wendy shows up at Karen's house, and Karen's like,
hi, Wendy, yeah, that is your name, right?
Anyway, I think you are at the wrong house
because this is reserved for people
and friends with.
Who are you again?
Then I forget a board meeting.
Mm-hmm.
I'm on the show, Karen.
Which show?
This show?
Congratulations. Which show is This show? Congratulations.
What show is that?
Mm-hmm.
So Wendy's like, oh, she says,
Monix coming over, this is a safe place.
Mm-hmm.
And Wendy's like, I believe in safe spaces,
but I also believe in brave spaces.
And there's something that happened
to put there's other things that have transpired
after the fact.
And Robin's like, were you talking about the blogs?
And she is because basically,
uh, yeah, she's like, you know,
there's been a blogging issue in Karen's house.
Oh, can you share with us?
Cause I'm not a blog.
I'm not, I'm not a social media wizard.
I don't even know what I, what is a blog?
Is that a blue log?
I don't understand.
I'm not a computer expert.
Can someone explain blarrang?
Okay, should I fire up my Tandy computer?
Should we find it on there?
And Robbins, like, well, somebody from Monix can't complete the story and you can tell
because it's very one-sided.
And then we see the headline from Reality Blurb report.
Candice Dillard and Monix Samuels got in a physical fight with one another during filming
on Real Housewives of Petermic Season 5.
Candice Dillard threw a drink in a glass in Monique's face.
Oh yeah and then Monique responded.
So like the whole framing is that Monique was on defense and didn't Monique have, wasn't
this was like giving me some sort of flashbacks
I was trying to remember to maybe was like two seasons ago or so where she had another issue with
her team or whatever there was some sort of meme was it a meme of Robin and Robin got all
sensitive about it and right like there was like Robin and the reason for cousin of running all of her social media stuff. Yeah, and after her.
Right.
And then, and, and, and Monique was like, what?
I don't even do any of that stuff.
Like, whatever, it was just a meme.
I mean, it was funny because Robin was being ridiculous because it was just like a stupid
meme from the reunion.
But I was like, I felt like it was somehow relevant to this.
Like, it was like proof that she has people who do this shit, you know?
Yes.
They're all just using her of like coming through shit. Yes, they're all using her,
of coming through her, using all of her lackeys
to do her dirty work.
Oh, so Sean Matiah!
So Ashley's like,
What, there were other people in the barn.
I mean, how do we know it wasn't them that didn't,
didn't decide to try and amp it up?
It was Ashley, okay.
Like everybody, here's a mystery solved, okay.
I think it was baby Dean.
It was like, well, here's the latest rumor
that I just heard while I was in my binky,
turns out Candace attacked Monique
and Monique responded and defended herself,
sort of like the way I defend myself,
when mommy tries to fly that airplane of
Applesauce into my mouth and I say no mommy. I don't like it
Monique responded by grabbing candy by the hair slamming her face in the table and nobody fed the sweet dashing young man
Who just wanted to spot milk
Meanwhile in the corner there was a handsome young man just begging to be bet and did anyone bet him now?
Way away.
So Robyn's like, I mean, come on, where would that come from?
Now we know none of us did it.
And she's like, and actually like, no, no, I didn't have to be her.
And so just like, well, nothing happened, okay?
Like this, this all went down on one day,
nothing was put out.
And then came out like,
It was like two or three days later.
So two or three days later,
and that if it had been someone who's at the barn,
they would have, they would have like,
That's, thank you.
I lost a mile.
They would have sent it out, you know?
Yes.
So Karen says, well, it upsets me today to think about it.
No one, no one should put their hands on anyone
They should put their hands on a giant bag from the pan continue who wants for sounds
And then Wendy says the moment you put your hands on someone you continue the narrative the black women continue to be angry and
Violent and that's a problem. Yep, and one thing Monique said on watch what happens live was she thinks that's a bunch of bullshit because every race gets violent
And you know, I think that that is a point
You know, I know that there are people who stereotype and say all sorts of mean shit, but you know
That doesn't make it right to be said in the first place
I mean, yeah, all races all humans get violent, but the I think the issue is that like black women are judged and viewed
only in that form, right? And that like, like if a, you know, like, if a white person got,
you know, a white woman, like a tamerbarny throws wine in someone's face or whatever, you're
like, oh my god, look at that trash. But I think the idea is that like, we're not thinking
that all white women are like that. We just are looking at Tamer and saying that she is more of almost like an outlier because
she is, we, when we call, by calling her trash, we're almost implying that she is not the normalcy.
Whereas with black women, my understanding, not to be this white person being like,
this is how black women work, but my understanding is that like, this thing happens like,
well, that's it. There you go. Typical black woman being angry and violent like well that's it there you go typical black woman being
angry and violent and that's like the uphill battle and that's why you know Wendy is so
pissed so it's sort of surprising to hear that Monique would say that I don't want to happen
alive.
Yeah well I mean I think it's kind of unfair to put I think it's unfair of racist assholes
to say that in the first place and I don't really know what kind of love,
I don't love one person having to take the brunt
of all that responsibility,
but I'm also not really in the position
to tell a black woman how she should feel about that either.
So I see that side too, but yeah.
It's a tricky one.
I feel like Wendy said felt very, very true.
And I didn't see what Monique said.
So I'll just go on what I saw at Wendy said.
And I was like, I feel like I get that and I understand.
And I understand why she was frustrated by the situation.
Yeah. So Jacelle's like, well, we've been able to hold ourselves
above the stereotype.
And in five minutes, she took it away.
Now, this is just like Jacelle, be quiet. Well, we've been able to hold ourselves above the stereotype and in five minutes she took it away now
This is just like Jacelle be quiet. Okay, you were the first of all Jacelle's always trying to start all this shit
She started a lot of shit today and again. This is not like then so Monique should have been able to hit somebody
I'm not saying that at all, but Jacelle being so high in mind the all the time is really
Yeah, I think I think out. I think you might drop it into the restaurant and Robin was at her
finger all up in Ashley's face a couple of years ago.
You know, Robin was getting, Robin has had a couple of times in
the show where she gets on people's cake.
I don't know.
I think they're being like maybe a little too hard on.
I mean, I don't know.
I think that's a valid.
I think that Jazeal's feeling as valid there. I think you's a valid. I think that Jacelle's feeling is valid.
There I think you can be petty. I think it can be petty like Jacelle is messy like Jacelle is,
but also still, you know, like you walk it up to a line, right? And, and that's the whole
point. Is that right? There was no, they professionally walk it up. There was actually no physical. Yeah.
And she's basic. Yeah, you could still be messy and still be angry that like, you know,
that holding yourself up like above a stereotype
does not mean that you're not necessarily gonna be messy.
You can still be messy and still hold yourself up
beyond the stereotype.
And so I understand her, I understand her frustration with it.
I mean, yes, is Jacelle for sure relishing an opportunity
to, you know, like to go after Monique
I'm sure but I think in this moment this was yeah, that's that's but because it bugs me
You know because another thing said and I won't do this the whole episode by the way
We can it's all about discussion
Yeah, one of the other main things that Monique said was that she brought up the rumors that we talked about a last week or a couple weeks ago
That these ladies were trying to bring on camera
that she was having a affair with her trainer
and that her baby was not Chris' baby,
it was the trainer's baby.
So there was a lot going on off camera
that she was really pissed off about that we didn't see,
which is I guess that.
So Jacelle was one of those women
who's trying to bring this on camera.
So it's like Jacelle's always trying to poke, poke, poke, poke, poke, and then it's So, just, I was one of those women who's trying to bring this on camera. So it's like, just, I was always trying to poke, poke, poke, poke.
And then it's like, oh, she's just so high in mighty, you know.
Right.
But I understand.
That's a separate issue.
That's one thing and getting physical is a different thing.
Yeah, I think, yeah, yeah, I think that's a separate issue.
I think like her being hypocritical and being high in mighty when she's like so messy with other stuff is like,
that's a whole other issue and it's also a hilarious issue
and that's what we have like tuned in for.
Sorry, I just hit my microphone.
So if you heard some noises, way, way.
But I think that like,
but when I think when it comes specifically to something
like, you know, violence and making a scene
at a winery and pulling hair and throwing glass, et cetera.
That's like one of those things where it's like,
ooh, it's okay to be messy and have an argument
because we're doing a TV show,
but this is like, this is not what we want, okay?
Like we want the nadir of this season
should be my horrific fashion.
It should not be the fact that we had a fight
in a wine tasting room.
Yeah. So Robyn's like, well, she's a awful role model not be the fact that we had a fight in a wine tasting room.
Yeah. So Robyn's like, well, she's a lawful role model for women and for her daughter.
And she's like, well, why don't we hold men to the same same standard? You know, we don't
hold men to that standard. Oh, I don't think anybody's calling Michael a very good role model
for. Yeah. I think we actually do hold men to, I mean, in some ways, yes, but like we do
actually want better role models from our men.
And just because maybe you have very relaxed standards for Michael does not mean that's what we all think.
Yeah, and so it just like, well, we don't care because we're talking about women right now.
And so they all start kind of talking over each other and stuff.
And Ashley's like, well, we don't have to say she's a bad role model for her daughter.
And she's like, well, you might, Robyn's like,
you might have that argument if she wasn't bragging
about it on Twitter.
I mean, if she's not leaking it to the blogs,
and Wendy's like, yeah, and then she's running around
the barn saying, I'm gonna kill her.
So, like, be quiet over there, Ashley.
And then Ashley opens her mouth to be like,
well, but I mean, like she's about to say,
like, go against it, and then all of a sudden, the screen goes like black and Ash, and then Ash, he opens her mouth to be like, well, but I mean, like she's about to say, like, go against it, and then all of a sudden,
the screen goes like black and white,
and then like, borders come in,
and like, like from the side of the TV,
from the side of the frame,
and then like, there's a transition,
and then all of a sudden,
a white Lexus pulls up to a house,
and Candice gets out of the car.
I was like, that was a really odd transition,
and I love that this show is like,
always, every single episode,
serious episode, non-serious, consistently,
real housewives of Potomac
really wants to experiment with the transition suite
on their editing software.
They're like, this week, let's do like a barn wipe,
let's a barn door wipe.
How about Star Wipe?
Next, how about this?
Chuck a board fade.
Yeah, so where at can, this is therapist house, Dr. Kim.
Yeah.
And so she's gone to Dr. Kim before to work through issues
with her mom and all that stuff.
Her mother daughter, trauma, she calls it.
Yes.
So she goes in and he's like, well, I got your text.
How's it going?
And it's like, do you have tissues? He's like, yes, I knew you were coming. Okay. I have a special box of pre-folded
construction paper. Here you go.
Here you go. She's like, I'm not crying over this. I'm not. I'm not. He's like,
okay, what happened? Your mom hit you with a bag again? No.
Hit you with a bowling ball? No.
Did you hit you with just like a pole of some sort?
No.
Okay, so he's like, so tell me what happened.
So she tells the whole story.
And now we see it from her point of view.
And we're seeing again, we see like the video
that like corresponds with whatever,
like you know what she's saying.
And he's like, so at this point, you're engaging her, right?
Cause she's talking about how, like,
she's talking about how, like, they were things to start,
before they even started to get physical,
they were just already going back and forth,
you know, with their words.
And she, she's like, so you're engaging her and she goes,
yeee, yes, you were engaging her.
You were, he's just like already so annoyed
with her, he's like, oh God, this could be painfully ass
trying to get her to admit any sort of role in this fight.
Yeah, and she's like, but it's more,
it was more of like a girl I'm over you, you know?
And at one point, she says, get your hands out of my face.
And he said, well, where are your hands in her face?
And she's like, they were not.
I mean, I talk with my hands.
And then so we see a clip of her hands on her face.
Yeah, it is. Mm-hmm. She's like, I talk with my hands. And then so we see a clip of her hands on her face. Yeah, it is.
Mm-hmm.
She's like, I talk with my hands.
And I even talk more particularly
when I have a knife in my hands.
So like, it just leads to a lot of confusion.
Yeah.
And she's like, so then she said, get your hands out of my face.
So when she said, get your hands out of my face,
I said, are you going to drag me?
And then we see a clip of that.
And then she reaches across the table,
and she like flicks my hair. So I reached back and I flicked her vest. And
then we see a close up of her actually grabbing the vest. Yes. If you guys saw on Instagram
when this was all slow down, a bunch of people did slow down to the scene. So we could see
like the shot by shot. And so she's flicking the hair and then you see Jacelle's arm kind of push
Monique back, right? It's not getting a fight. And then Candace grabs her chest to pull her back in.
But still even even with all those slowdowns still, The hair flicking with the first. The first. Yeah.
Yeah.
So then Candice is like, so then she reaches back across
and pulls me by my hair down onto the table
and starts punching me at the top of my head.
And now I don't feel safe.
And it's like a very traumatic thing,
but Candice with all her like,
it's a traumatic thing,
but Candice with her dramatics,
it's like you can't help to be like, for me,
it's not that I was discounting any of it,
but I'm like, she's so ridiculous
the way she retails the story, which may be totally genuine,
but I can't, like, but with the tissue and her,
I don't feel safe.
Yeah.
You know, it's like it's so can be leaving things out.
Like the twirling around, yelling drag, we drag, we,
I mean, come on.
Yeah. I mean, I think it was probably very scary when she had her hair, like had her face down and there was glass around.
That was very scary, but I just think that the tissue, it's really just about the tissue
in her eye at all times.
So then we go back to Karen's and just like, what time is she getting here?
I have stuff to do.
And then Monique shows up and ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, hello, hello, hello, hello. Can I hate that ring too? Can you change ring doorbell sounds?
I know, can you can.
Oh, it's awful.
It's like literally my least fit.
Doorbells are so nice sounding.
Like every other doorbell in the world is nice.
Like ding dong, like it's like classic.
Ding dong is like so classic, right?
Everyone likes it.
No one has everyone as anyone in the history of the world
ever complained about the sound of ding dong
No, no one ever has.
Stupid ring people were like no we need to brand it.
We need an even more iconic sound than ding dong and I have to have it to them.
I think they might have found it because it's so terrible.
I will never ever hear that noise again and not go fucking ring.
So they found it.
Yeah, and it's like not even like, there's like, since we're like, graininess to it,
where it doesn't even sound,
it doesn't even have the pleasantness of like,
a doorbell sound, it's like a weird chime,
like an electronic chime for like, 2003.
Yep, so Monique comes in and says,
hi to everybody, and then she starts giving her,
she starts with a speech.
She's like, you know, first of all, Karen,
thank you so much for letting us get together here.
I just wanted to get everybody together
and just say, you know, I'm not here to explain what happened.
There's no explanation.
I'm not here to talk about Candace just myself
and that is not who I am.
What you saw is not who I am.
And just like this, crunching her face. Yeah, she's like, because Monica's not, she's like choking up, like that's not who I am. And just like over there scrunching her face. Yeah, she's like, because Moneca's not, she's like choking up.
Like that's not who I am. It's like you did it.
So it is who you are.
So, um, so, uh, Karen's like, well, okay, well, let me tell you something.
This is not easy for any of us to be here.
Like it actually is not easy.
People had to drive many miles and they're sitting on very uncomfortable like here furniture.
But we never thought as black women we would be here, but we are.
So therefore, please enjoy a croissant because I cannot have these Le Pencadilly
and croissants here all by myself. Please take one, take one!
If you feel uncomfortable, please talk to the gourd.
So Monique is like, look, I'm embarrassed, I'm ashamed, that I would let anyone
get under my skin to that point. So I just don't want to be defined by one bad choice and one bad moment that turned into something
Completely crazy and I apologize to all of you for putting you in harm's way
So what do I need to do to make sure that doesn't happen again?
I mean could it happen again? I mean it could any one of us because we're human and that's where she just totally loses them
Right, yeah, I just I was like her And it could any one of us because we're human. And that's where she just totally loses them, right?
Yeah, and Juzelle's like, her face is just like super scrunchy.
She's like, okay, I gotta take notes.
So she's, because she's gonna want,
what you want to take notes to respond to everything.
And when he's like, well, we could be all self-righteous
and be on a high horse if you want to.
And it's like, first of all, and well, Juzelle's like,
well, this is not self-righteous or a high horse.
I'm taking notes so I can discuss the things
that you said, but also like if you were the one
who created a huge fight, then you kind of don't get it.
You don't get to tell the people that you're apologizing to
or asking clarification to.
You don't get to shame them for being on a high horse
because like, they've earned that high horse.
I mean, just I'll hold out her phone to take notes.
Come on.
I mean, I don't think Jizal has really earned a high horse.
I will save that.
I think she's earned a high horse.
I think that Monique has, I think Monique is in deep water
and she should be apologizing.
First of all, and she shouldn't be smarting off.
I get that, but she's, you know, I don't think
Jizal has earned any high horse.
I just feel like when you're in asked.
When you're apologizing, if you've done something really wrong and you're apologizing, you
don't get to tell people how they're supposed to receive your apology necessarily.
Like people have to process or whatever.
And I do think that actually Jacelle was like, I'm going to take notes because I need to
respond to these bullet points.
And Monique was like, it's just like a moment where Monique should have been like, okay,
I understand that.
I'm going to continue on. Like that's what Monique should have been like, okay, I understand that, I'm gonna continue on.
Like, that's what her response should have been.
Yeah, so then she's like, well, go ahead, that's fine.
But basically, you know, anything I've ever done
is out of, if I'm attacked, basically.
I'm not the person that would just go in someone's face
and assault them for no reason.
That's not who I am.
So Candace got in my face and she says,
what are you gonna do? you're gonna drag me?
And then a glass goes in my face
and I start swinging and I completely blacked out.
Oh, you blacked out, you blacked out.
Sort of the way I felt when I walked into living spaces
and they had to sail on guards.
And now here we are, so many of them.
And she's like, yeah, I blacked out.
And the next thing I'll remember is production,
yelling, let it go over and over.
But initially I couldn't remember anything.
And then a clinic was in the car just saying,
well, here's what happened.
I had her hair in one hand.
And then I was punching her with this hand.
And then I grabbed her hair with this hand.
And then I saw her picking up a wine glass and
Wine glasses. There was three pieces of cauliflower on the floor. There was a cherry tomato
There were three women in the corner and they all look shocked and I was like are they gonna get the cauliflower
So then I grabbed her other piece of hair, which was a little softer than the than the initial piece
So there was like some discrepancy in the softness of her hair and I pulled her probably at approximately 12 degree angle down towards the table
You know just some just some vague specifics.
Yeah.
So she's like, well, the days go by, I remember more and more things.
You know, I still remember her yelling.
And then I just remember, you know, I was in that back hallway with the producer, and
I'm yelling, let me back in there.
And my adrenaline's going and I'm amped up.
And you know, I just, I learned I need to take a step back and take a look at
myself and make sure I'm always in control.
And Karen's, at this point Karen has like, her lips have fully folded into the back of
her mouth.
Like, like, she has like all her lips are like fully inside her mouth.
Like, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh,
yeah.
And she's like, but at the end of the day, a glass of wine went into my face, and
I remember reaching in Robin's stop, sir.
And she's like, oh, actually, a few things.
You almost had me, but that is a 100 absolute percent lie.
And then we got a commercial and we come back.
And Robin's like, yeah, you almost had me until the wine was thrown in your face part.
And then you decided to contact, because that's not what happened.
Okay.
Yeah, exactly.
And when it's like, well, I'm trying to remember and Rob was like, no, that did not
happen.
Candice did not throw wine in your face.
Candice had white wine or glass and you had red wine in your face.
And the reason why you had red wine was because of the velocity of the table
of things flying everywhere.
And then they cut to KP nodding like, oh, good point. Yeah, that's pretty cool.
Yeah.
But that wine splashing in her face in the clip wasn't just a glass flying off the table.
It was like wine splashed hard in her face.
Yeah, it's hard to tell.
It's hard to tell.
There was a lot of activity in motion.
There were also a lot of wine glasses around.
So I think the wine glass defense is a little inconclusive.
I do think that ultimately Monique was tussling or she was like messing with Candace's hair.
Candace came in for the vest so there was like, now physical contact.
And then I think everything just sort of like happened all at once.
Even on, and see here I'm doing it again, but even on what happens live.
And the asset he's like, so do you admit that the wine thing didn't happen first?
Like you, you went physical first because it's on tape.
I mean, how are you arguing it?
If, if you see it, if we all see it on tape.
And she's like, well, I've seen the raw footage and that's not what the raw footage shows.
And, you know, everything just happened at one time.
But I don't know, she's still arguing it,
even though there's footage.
She's claiming that there's other footage
that shows a wine glass in her face first.
And she's like, I have the wound on the inside
of my mouth to prove it.
Yeah, I think it's, I think.
By the way, this is it's, I think- I have to wait, this will say Andy's face.
Shh.
He's like, oh, oh, really?
But then Wendy is like, but you touched your hair first by flicking your hair.
You touched your first, basically.
And that's ultimately what it comes down to.
The sequence of the wine glass is hard to tell.
From what I could gather, it looked like Candace was waving
that wine glass round because she was at that point, like, Monique had clutched onto that
hair and Candace was face down and she was getting punched at the top of her head and I think
she was just swinging truly to defend herself.
Um, so, uh, she's, so then Robyn's like, well, that's the first thing and the second thing,
if you're so embarrassed and upset, why would you leak this to the blogs? Why?yn's like, well, that's the first thing. And the second thing, if you're so embarrassing and upset,
why would you leak this to the blogs?
Why?
She's like, I did not leak anything.
And Robyn's like, well, the blog was very anti-candace.
You know, of course, Candace threw a drink in your face
and the Monique dragtor.
So someone in your entourage, your group,
or whatever had to have leaked it to the blogs,
because that information didn't come from anyone here.
And Monique's like, well, I only told one person
about the wine glass, and that's because it was literally-
Literally, a media manager.
Yeah, my cousin.
I only told one person about the wine glass,
and that's because it was literally two days later
when I recalled things.
They're like, that's literally when the story arrived.
It was two days later.
It matches up perfectly. And then Monique's like, no, no, she're like, that's literally when the story arrived. It was two days later. Yeah.
It matches up perfectly.
And then Monique's like, no, no, she's like, no, I don't want this out there.
Why would I want this out there?
And Robins was like, oh, no.
And she's like, but then on Twitter, you wrote, like, ask and you shall receive.
And like, that wasn't a response to what happened with Candace.
And like, that's not cute.
It's not about how tough you are.
Well, she goes, you said asking you shall receive.
Sure did.
And that was a response to what happened with Candace.
Sure was.
Oh my god, what are you doing?
Yeah.
Yeah, you just said you don't want to put it out there,
but you put out a tweet.
And then some money is like, well, someone jumps in your face
and says, what are you gonna do?
Drag me? It triggers. Which I understand it triggers. out of tweet. And then some money's like, well, someone jumps in your face and says, what are you going to do?
Drag me?
It triggers.
Which I understand it triggers.
But like, the point is that you're, you're, like, you don't have to act on a trigger.
If, like, I mean, ideally in a, in a perfect world, you aspire to act on your trigger.
Of course, the trigger is a trigger.
That's why they're called a trigger.
But she just sort of, she phrases it in this like defense-less way and none
of the women are buying it.
Yeah, especially not Wendy.
Wendy is great.
Yeah, Wendy's like, nope.
Yeah, Wendy's like, listen, it sounds like you're trying to justify what you're doing.
You're justifying it.
It was not warranted.
And as a black woman, this is this woman.
This is not what you're what we're trying to put forward.
And you know, she, what Monique did,
brought everything that people have said
about black women to light.
And that right there was not the move for Monique to make.
And then we go over to Canvas and therapy.
She's like, since this happened,
Monique has not reached out to me.
She has her lack of spreading lies.
And as a result, I've been completely pummeled.
And then we see tweets saying like,
ha ha, heard you got your face bashed in.
Right.
And calling her guinea pig face and a superficial brat.
And Ken's like, but what's that emotion?
What is your emotion?
And she's like, well, it makes me question everything.
And I feel like I'm between a rock and a hard place.
And he's like, and do you work close with her?
She's like, I mean close.
I mean, your house, my feet on your couch,
I hold your kids, we were close.
Yeah, and we see all these flashbacks of like
their former friendship and Ken,
Dr. Ken's like, you loved her, didn't you?
And she's like, I did, I did, I did.
And she has like, you know, the tissue in her eye, et cetera.
And then she's like, well, I love to why I thought she was.
And then Dr. Ken is like, do you think you did anything
to contribute to what happened?
Which felt a little gaslighty,
but it was also I feel like,
probably the question everyone was thinking.
And so she's like, no, he goes,
well, think about it for a second, think about it.
Maybe around the part where like you said, like, you know, drag me and you were saying
those things about it.
Do you think you had any partners?
She's, I have.
And nothing that I did warranted what she did to me, which is, that's, that's a different
answer.
Nothing that true, nothing that Candace did warranted what Monique did to her, but
did you have a part in this, like in this, and so he's like, okay, so let's take out the
physical part. Let's just think, like, what role might you have played in her betraying
you? And she's like, I didn't play a role in that at all. Like, okay, okay.
Yeah, and so she says, when we argued last year, I admitted my delivery was not the best, but and he's like and you've changed
And she's like yes, and every time we've had a problem this season
I've approached it differently and then we see a clip of her doing that really she does doing actually
Yes, staying calm and being like well, I'm sorry that I offended you or whatever and she has a much calmer this season
Yeah, and yeah, this Monique stuff with her,
you know, Jiselle telling her like, well, you should be mad at Monique because Monique had
Sheree since Sheree is spreading all these rumors. And then Monique's like, oh, I guess I should
be mad at her. And then Monique is now mad at her. And yeah, this whole time we've been like,
oh, why is she this mad at Karen this? Like all of a sudden, just because she's
all told her to. Because listen, we all everyone agrees that
Kandis is a brat. Everyone knows she's a brat, okay, and she
has been a brat. She has been better with her apologies the
season for sure. And, um, and Monique honestly, like, she was
already on the losing end of this, like, the needle was, I
guess, sort of like against her, because she got into that she got so angry about those smores a few weeks ago.
And that was when we were like,
are you forcing us to take Candice aside?
So Monique has really...
Something's going on with Monique.
Something is definitely going on with her.
Yeah, so he's like, well, what would it take for you to forgive her?
And she's like, time. And then he says, if you could say something to Monique, what would you say?
And she, and we just hear the, my favorite sound effect. And she says nothing. So then we're back
to Karen's and Ashley's like, okay, so I was not there. I went to the bathroom. And I've been
getting all these different accounts.
And the way you acted was wrong
and you've taken ownership.
And to me, it's how you act moving forward.
So if I thought you had a streak of violence
and we're gonna do it over and over again,
I would have a problem with you, but I don't think that.
And just I was like, yes, but you're acting like
this is a one off year I met you.
You said you would punch me in the face.
And we see a flashback of Monique telling Jazeal, like that Jazeal.
Well, say telling us that Jazeal was an inch away of getting punched in the face,
which I don't think counts. I don't think counts. I don't think like, I think a hyperbolic joke
in a confessional does not count. But then she's like, but the year after that, you and Robin got
into an umbrella situation. I was like, okay, that is more valid. And then the year after that, you told Candace,
you would drag her off.
And then last week, you actually did DITTA.
Well, now we see why the notes were coming in handy.
Because she was ready to go with that one.
And Monique's like, okay, well, let me take notes too.
So at the end, I can address everything you're saying.
So she starts taking notes.
And now it's like a battle of the notes.
And it just sounds like, look, it's not like all of a sudden
you went crazy, you know, you told us you were gonna do it
and then you did it with six cameras watching.
And I 100% believed that that's who you are.
And I don't represent that.
And I went home and discussed it with my children.
And the first thing they said was do not be around her.
I'm only, it's like, well, I would say the same thing if I was your children and I heard
your version. Yeah, although to be fair, her kids probably also told her, don't go
back to Jamal. And so we know how well Jacelle is.
That's the thing. Well, yeah, they did. They said that on camera.
Yeah. So then Jacelle was like, well, my kids are 13 and 14 and they know better
because I'm raising women that will never put their hands on another woman.
And when he goes, okay, good for you.
And the Robin, I loved this.
Robin goes, can you pause for a second?
You're being so fucking condescending.
And this is serious conversation.
I was like, yes, Robin.
Yes, such a great moment.
I love that.
That was like, I think my favorite Robin moment of all time.
And she's like, Karen, you're the moderator.
You brought us together and you're just setting her get away with it.
And Karen's like, you know what? I'm gonna ask all of you in my house to lower your voices
Stuck in my lips down my throat
One of the time listen. This is not time to talk over each other. It's time to admire
Gord from home
All right, here's the new rule if you want to, you must hold this knobby guard here, just out.
The talking guard.
So Robyn's like, well you know Monique, you would cut us off if we were big on descending
and Karen's like, no, listen.
Monique is listening and even though she doesn't agree with everyone, she's listening.
Now and Monique, as a friend, let me tell you something.
Hold on, let me suck my lips down my throat for a moment. Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm She says, these women have attacked me left and right, and I never put my hands on one of them.
I was so caring to make it about her.
I mean, I've had prank pizzas put at my doorstep, I've had to sit on the edge of a bank
kept on my birthday, and never once did I lay a finger on someone, never once.
So Wendy's like, so what are we even supposed to do here?
And Monique's like, I just listen, I don't have any justification, I'm going to talk to
my pastor, and you know, I just know me, and have any justification I'm gonna talk to my pastor and
You know, I just know me and I know I'm not the type of person to attack someone and just I was like but you did
Yeah, and this is what I needed to hear and I'm proud of you to say this that you're gonna go see a pastor
That's what I needed and when he's like oh god
Give me a break like you know letting her off the hook, right? And she's all like there's no humidity
Yeah, there's no regret no literary awards. Uh, no. Oh my god. I'm sorry
Yeah, and Wendy points out that she said she blacked out and then she came to so everything that happened after the fight
You were aware of and she's like yes, very aware she goes so running around that barn screaming
I'm gonna kill that bitch. You were aware of that. She's, yes, very aware. She goes, so running around that barn, screaming, I'm gonna kill that bitch, you were aware of that.
She's like, yes, very aware.
That's a problem, see what I'm saying?
She's like, oh, adrenaline, the adrenaline's still pumping.
I mean, my body's still, you've ever been into a fight
where your body's just like pumping everything.
And Wendy is like, so you're not remorseful.
She's like, no, not right now.
I'm like, oh, money, you really have to work on your,
yeah, your optics a little bit with these situations.
Yeah, so, Monique's like, well,
I was embarrassed to display these type of actions,
and I'm embarrassed that people might not want to be around me
because I think I'm dangerous, but no,
I don't feel remorse.
And she's like, yeah, well, embarrassment is when you're
embarrassed as a person and remorseful means you're sad that you did that to the other person and
she's just embarrassed, which is selfish.
Yeah, and it also means that it can happen again.
So some money is like, you know what, it's been a week and my body still has so much
adrenaline pumping through it.
I'm like, okay, that's not, I don't, hmm, this is, this, okay, I don't, I just don't believe that.
I don't believe, your adrenaline has been pumping nonstop for five days. I just don't
believe that. It's, I don't think that's how it works.
Well, it just feels like, I have zero respect for you, your liability, and I by no means
want to be anywhere near you. And Kaby, let's go. She just gets up and walks out.
Kaby, like, goes to reach for a croissant.
Off it, no, goes up for the ladies only, Kaby.
So Moni's like, okay, we'll find and just leave.
But I'm trying to figure it out.
There's no justification, and Jizelle leaves,
and then Jizelle tells us in one of the funniest
Jizelle lines of all time.
Do me and Jamal, a pastor, have an image to protect? Absolutely.
The only physical contact this family condones with women is impregnating them.
Right?
Yeah, all of a sudden Jacelle is concerned about her image with Jamal, okay. Yeah.
So Karen, so she leaves.
So Karen's like, well, you know,
just L's mind was already made up and she came here.
But my mind is wanting to hear.
I just want to listen.
So Wendy asked Monique if she apologized
and Monique is like, for what?
I'm like for a tackier
Monique goes well, I don't feel anything right now. I don't know
I don't feel like I can look at her. I'm just trying to stay in my zone and I'm just trying to figure out if I'm angry or not
Like my adrenaline my adrenaline's still pumping. Okay, and if you want to write me off, that's fine
Oh, I ask is that you all pray for me? Pray for me." I'm like, I mean,
it just, I, I agreed with the women. This was, this was a terrible apology session.
Yeah. And cares like no one's writing you off. I mean, you're not a giant chair that I sat
in during an invitation, which is completely legal right off. And if anybody has something to say about it,
call Mr. Chase over there.
Mm-hmm.
Ha-ha-ha.
I'm gonna make said, you know, something
has to be said for people who disrespect, who antagonize,
who get in your face.
That's just as bad as physical hands.
And when he's like, no, she's like, I have had people call me
the N word.
Every time I'm on stage, I battled my words.
And I have had people call my kids names.
And I go out and bust people's asses with my words and when you tell me have I been in that
position, position, I will not buy that because I have been there, I'm there every day.
You Wendy, Wendy, that's a baby, a baby, Wendy's a baby!
Why, why, let the woman finish, I was loving it.
Why to stop us, she was actually leaning over me for a
second. And it was heaven. Wendy were your thoughts on the seminal hit twinkle twinkle little star
because I love it. Wendy did Mary ever actually have a little lamb because Mary crying about
her little lamb that's lost reminds me of the other seminal story the boy that cried wolf
Can you describe the hill that Jack and Jill went up because it sounds lovely where when
Why were they fetching a pale of water anyone anyone?
So Karen, yeah, they're like there's a baby right near you. There's a baby Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha including me. And then we saw the whole fight with Ashley with the Butterknife.
You will not talk about my mother with the Butterknife waving around.
Yeah.
And Karen says, you know, you're blacking out.
That's, you have your temper is a problem.
And blackout card is not an excuse.
Okay, here's what you call an excuse.
I didn't realize that the taxes were filed. Now that's an excuse. I didn't realize that the taxes were filed.
Now that's an excuse.
I didn't realize you had to pay for gourd,
so I mean, they're vegetables.
Why would the US government care
about decorative gourd from home goods?
And Robin's like, yeah, it's not an excuse.
It's actually a concern if you're blacking out.
And Robin, Monique's like, well, it's not an excuse,
I just wanted you to know how deep it was.
And you know, this isn't just for the show,
I'm not putting anything on, you know,
for me to get to that point is concerning for me too.
And maybe I don't need to be part of this anymore.
Yeah, and then Ash is like, well, maybe temporarily,
maybe just for a little bit, you take a break
and cut us screw the cameras, okay?
Now, do we have a camera closing in on me on this one?
Okay, great screw the cameras wing-wink America
You're my friend and I don't leave my friends when they are going through tough times. I like everyone else
It's me. I soldier up and I will walk with you and I will provide a Danish if necessary and a god when you need it
And Monique's like well, I just don't know how to deal with people who throw grown-up
size temper tantrums.
You know, I don't know how to deal with it.
And Robyn's like, well, yeah, she does make you want to smack the shit out of her.
I mean, listen to her talk.
We know what she is.
We all hate her.
But it went too far, and she's like, yeah, would never physically get it get violent with her like never you know
And at the end of the day, there'll be nothing for nothing
Do do don't don't I'm not gonna let her take me out of my comfort zone
And Monika's like okay new tactic. Can I hold the baby? Can I hold the baby? Okay?
I'm holding the baby. Why why I don't appreciate being used as a prop
Although you aren't quite comfortable.
I'm rather like, oh, so now Monika's kissing babies for sympathy.
This is some real DC ship right here.
So she's like, just don't judge me based off of one mistake, you know, like here.
Don't invite me group things.
I'm, you know, if you're doing group thing, just don't invite me, and I'm gonna meet with a pastor,
and I'm gonna pray on it,
and one of these like,
uh, some things you can't just pray away.
Prayer will handle all good things.
Don't get me wrong,
and even if there were no cameras here,
I would say that.
That prayer is great.
Did you catch that?
Did you catch that?
I'm Monique's like,
I'm hoping you have a good day.
I need to leave the ego aside
and figure out what's right, acceptable.
And I want to be a good person. I'm just's right acceptable and I want to be a good person
I'm just like you are a good person a good person that made a mistake. This doesn't define you
This was ugly you can't let words bring you down to a level that can destroy you and when he's like oh
Yeah, they're basically like okay
This is a session to let Monika off the hook and they're all standing up.
I was like, okay, so I've got lots of flat croissants and things that are supposed to be
danishes from the pancotidian. Help yourselves ladies, because I can eat them all. KB, you, oh, god damn it.
That could just out took KB.
So Wendy and Robin stay in the room and Robin's like, so you're not sold, huh? And she's like, no, what are we even doing here? So they get up to leave too. And when this is, you know, she's not remorseful,
then she doesn't see your actions as wrong. And if she doesn't see your actions as wrong,
then she's willing to do it again.
Yep. And they'll leave. And Ashley is, uh, as she tells us, uh, says like that if Monique is
willing to admit she has a problem, it's
important as a friend to stick by her side.
And Karen is like, you're going to look at this Monique and use it as a positive moment
for younger black women.
You're going to show younger black women that they too can take a go at home from their
best friend's house.
And you're going to show them that you don't do that anymore.
And then she hugs her and Monique, like to. It's like, and I'll also tell him,
don't provoke people and smiles.
It's like, oh god.
Yeah, I thought it was a great episode
and it's interesting,
because it does bring up these questions, right?
Before this season even aired, we were like,
oh my god, we can't wait to see that fight
because there'll be so hilarious to see Candice getting smacked in the face. But then when it shows up, we were like, oh my god, we can't wait to see that fight because there'll be so hilarious to see Candice
getting smacked in the face.
But then when it shows up, you're like,
uh, ew, it was actually more visceral than we anticipated.
And it also made me feel kind of like an awful person
for thinking those things.
But then Candice is also, she is awful and she does provoke,
but then it's like, but that's not,
there's no justification for what happened.
So it actually brings up a lot of complex issues
and almost contradictory ones,
which I think is actually really great that it does that
because it makes you think and really think about
how you feel about these things.
So, you know, God bless reality TV.
Well, then we get the upcoming
for the rest of the season preview.
Ooh!
Oh my God.
People need to be watching this show.
Oh my god, it looks so good.
So Robin hasn't been paying her taxes apparently.
That's her storyline.
And Juan's all mad at her, because I don't know why.
I don't know why.
I guess she's in charge of the finances or something.
So I have no idea what the guy's getting in the fight. So I haven't noticed that.
I haven't noticed that.
Chris and Mike get in a fight.
That's great.
Yeah, this is Chris and Mike get in a fight.
So yeah, it's going to just keep on churning people.
It is.
It's such a good show.
And it really, it does not have amazing ratings.
And I just don't understand that.
Like New York and Potomac are probably
the two best franchises of Real Housewives at the moment and their ratings
I feel like don't reflect that necessarily and it's
It's a shame and so tell your friends to watch this show to make sure it's a it gets the juggernaut that it should be because it's just a great great show
Yeah, really is well
