Starting point is 00:00:23 Download today. The first ever All-Electric-26 Subaru Trail Seeker is the EV for the trail obsessed. With up to 444 kilometers on a full charge and DC fast charging from 10 to 80% in about 30 minutes in ideal conditions. Plus, ample ground clearance and symmetrical all-wheel drive
Starting point is 00:00:44 make the 2026 trail seeker the most capable EV Subaru has ever built. Test drive it at your local Subaru dealer or visit Subaru.ca. Sorry. Does this even work? Give me a second. Andrew.
Starting point is 00:01:00 No. David. Yo, what's up, people of the internet? Welcome back to another episode of the Waveform podcast. We're your host. I'm Marquez. I'm Andrew. And I'm going to be the winner of the trivia extravaganza.
Starting point is 00:01:16 And that's because today we are all pitting ourselves against each other. And you heard it here first. This is the trivia extravaganza. And I'm David. Season four or something. Who knows what number it is. But the idea is we've been accumulating trivia points for the past couple months last years. I don't know how long it's been since the last one. And now we'll be answering many more
Starting point is 00:01:37 questions. Plus, we'll have our existing points as a starting baseline. And we're going to have some fun and hopefully we have a winner at the end of this. That means also over at the table, we have our esteemed panel, which is now Ellis, Rufus and Adam. You might remember the last trivia extravaganza. The scorekeeping becomes a big challenge. So they're going to hopefully keep score over there and keep us honest. And hopefully we learned something in the process. So take it away. So yeah, no, we've got a lot of, we've got a few games coming back from the past.
Starting point is 00:02:09 We have a lot of new games. We have some twists. We have some surprises. So without further ado, let's do some trivia. Let's go to expect you. It has not been here for almost 12 months, 11 to be exact. But now we can bring it back in full glory to hear the scary organ. We wanted to do like spooky theme this time.
Starting point is 00:02:41 The time in Halloween. Don't worry about it. It's still spooky. Did I get you? That was pretty spooky. I did think. Yep, I liked it. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:02:48 Yeah. Spooky. Is it all spooky questions? No, actually, nothing about it is spooky. I just didn't know what to theme it. You know, it's the return of trivia extravaganza. That's kind of what I was going for. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:02:59 And that just felt kind of like vampiric. Here's a spooky thing. Yeah. One Plus is dead. That is recording you all the time. That's actually scary. That is. Terrifying.
Starting point is 00:03:11 The first game we're going to be playing is made by Adam, and I think it is one of the greatest ideas for a game I've ever heard. Oh. But before I can tell you the game, I have to tell you the twist with this season's trivia extravaganza finale competition to the death. And that is, for most of the game, not the whole game, but most of the game, you guys will be playing on teams. The way this is going to work is,
Starting point is 00:03:44 Two of you will be on a team at once trying to answer in question. One of you will be the odd man out. Uh-oh. If the team gets it correct, both of you get the point. If you do not get it correct, the odd man out gets the point. And the odd man out doesn't have to answer anything? I want to be the odd man out. Well, no, it rotates.
Starting point is 00:04:05 Arquez and I famously have not had the best. You're not what to play, bro? That's my best chance. If we go historically through the amount of points that have been given out over the last season, historically it would be better for me to not answer. So here's how, here's going to go. Damn. The teams, it's going to go like this.
Starting point is 00:04:21 So first, hypothetically, it'll be team David Andrew. When we were testing this, we called your team the missing president because David Andrew just sounds like a guy who was president. There obviously was no president of the United States named David Andrew. Can we be team Andrew David? Because that's my name. Your middle name is. Oh, my God.
Starting point is 00:04:39 That is his middle name. I am older too. And first in the alphabet. In fact, how did you name it David Andrew when every other thing points to me? It makes sense. It has to be David Andrew because it'll make sense. Because next is team Andrew Marquez, which we named team lawn sports, because both you guys do that. And then after that, we'll be team Marquez David, which we called the phone zone.
Starting point is 00:05:03 The phone zone. Exactly. Okay. Wow. Okay. Lawn sports? Yeah. I guess you don't really play disc golf on a lot.
Starting point is 00:05:12 lawn, but there's grass. You don't play ultimate on a lawn either. But I have a feeling Marquez and I would be nasty at lawn sports. Ball golf is a lawn sport. Sure. I think of a lawn as like a smaller space. I would say like curated grass. Yeah, like when you play at McCarran, that's, is that a lawn?
Starting point is 00:05:34 It's a park. Yeah. I don't want to get two. All right. Spike ball. Hand jam. Those are lawn sports. Cornhole.
Starting point is 00:05:42 Lond darts. Basketball. Guys. Yeah, not that one. Okay, no, guys. Games. We're playing games. The first game created by Adam, absolutely genius creation, is called the keyword search.
Starting point is 00:05:52 It's just called keyword search. There's no article. It's just keyword search. Command F. The way keyword search works, no, David. The way keyword search works is, I'm going to give you a question. It could be an easy question. It could be a hard question.
Starting point is 00:06:01 However, you cannot answer the question. You and your teammate have to come up with three words that when I put them into a Google search bar, the answer to the question is revealed on the first page of Google. So, for example, if I ask you the question, who was one of the dudes that founded Reddit? You could not Google Reddit founder, but you could Google Serena Williams' husband.
Starting point is 00:06:25 And you can't use the actual name. And you can't. No. So it's like taboo, you can't use the... None of the words from the question or the answer may be present in your Google search. We're so good at Googling. I'm pretty good at Googling.
Starting point is 00:06:37 So, okay. We'll see. Godly Google. First page, anywhere on the first page? Let's go phone zone. We'll start off with some easy ones. So it's David and I first? Yes, it's team David Andrew.
Starting point is 00:06:45 Yeah, David Andrew. Team David Andrew. What is the name of the podcast that we are on right now? I almost want to say if we typed in Marquez Andrew David, would that come up? MKBHD. Oh, no, we can't say podcast. How many words can we use? Three.
Starting point is 00:07:03 How many words can we use a full string? It's three words. Oh, three. But we can't use podcast, right? No, you cannot use podcast. Um, how about scientific sound? How are you, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait. Can you spell the answer?
Starting point is 00:07:24 What? Just do it. Why? What are we trying to figure out? No, that's for you guys to figure out. What's the name of the podcast we're on right now? I know, but some people name it W-A-V-E-F-R-M. I get it. I get it.
Starting point is 00:07:38 It's spelling independent. Okay, how about MKBHD has to be in it Okay, MKBHD podcast Oh wait, What about MKBHD Show names?
Starting point is 00:07:51 Pocketcasts? Or MKBHD Spotify Show Yeah, Show. MKBHT Spotify show. I like that. I think MKBHD,
Starting point is 00:07:58 do you don't think PocketCast would work better? Spotify show Spotify, Spotify, Spotify, or PocketCats. Well, PocketPagest is one word. What about sounds? Oh, wait, is it one?
Starting point is 00:08:09 Can we just do MKBHBHs? Shopify, Shopify? Shopify. Three words by the end of this. They didn't pay for that. Oh, yeah. Yeah, just...
Starting point is 00:08:17 Do both of them? I think show is probably good. Okay. Let's do MKBHD... Spotify. Spotify show. Okay. Or PocketCast show is a better idea
Starting point is 00:08:27 because Spotify has a lot of music. It's hard because... Yeah. Let's just do MKBHG... There's those people that upload all our crap there. It's MKBHBHC Spotify show. No, PocketCast. PocketCast.
Starting point is 00:08:37 Oh, my God. Pocketcast is one word? Yeah. It's a name of a company. Yeah, it doesn't mean it's one word. All right. You got it in the AI overview, Waveform, the MKBHD podcast. In tests, we found that the one that most people went for immediately was MKBHD, Andrew David.
Starting point is 00:08:55 Really? Yeah, and that would almost always resolve. Oh, yeah. MKBHD includes you. I forgot about that. I forgot. I was like, what about Marquez? He's on the show, too.
Starting point is 00:09:06 All right. So, David, Andrew, you have each earned. One point, Marquez, you were not given a point by their failure, but now it is team. Lawn Sports's turn. This is? Oh, yeah, this is tough. It's like, damn, that was great working with you. You want to work poorly with David and work well with me so we can catch David.
Starting point is 00:09:25 I'm just saying. All right. All right. Ready. Lawn sports. What standard port was mandated by the EU to be on all chargeable portable devices? Okay. So it's the USB type C port.
Starting point is 00:09:40 So they want to have three words to Google to make USB Type C burr come up. Yeah. And we can't say... Is USBC or USB Type C either of those words? We can't say port. I will accept either of those. You cannot use the word port. Yeah, yeah, we can use port.
Starting point is 00:09:54 Okay. It's significantly harder. So Europe iPhone plug? New iPhone charger. New iPhone charger? Yeah, because it was lightning and now it's USBC. Yeah, but if you type that, you might not get USB-C. You might just get like MagSafe and other new charger.
Starting point is 00:10:10 I think if you type Europe iPhone standard I don't say iPhone wait can we not say iPhone You can say iPhone okay Europe iPhone iPhone iPhone could have done it Cable plug cable I think cable would be better standard standard well we need to have like cable in there something because there's just Europe iPhone standard right true so Europe iPhone iPhone cable plug plug plug plug plug plug plug okay Europe iPhone plug sure Europe, iPhone, plug. That's not what I would do. What would you have done? Well, I feel like plug assumes the thing you put in the wall.
Starting point is 00:10:48 That's what I, that's why I like cable a little better, but I don't. And Europe has the three pro. Oh, it might do the adapter. Europe has the adapter. It might list like in it. But if you say I do cable. I would do Europe iPhone cable. All right.
Starting point is 00:11:01 You got it, guys. Okay. Nice job. It was looking at a little dicey. It was pretty low on the page. Oh, wow. Oh, it just has to be on the first page. Yes.
Starting point is 00:11:07 Yeah. You got a lot of Euro, Europlugs. Plug. Like adapters. You have to be in the first link, I feel like. That would make this really hard. Really hard. Should we do it?
Starting point is 00:11:15 Wait, wait, you could do, if it's the first link, it's two points. Yeah. I'm not going to remember that. All right. The phone zone. Are you ready to compete? Lock in.
Starting point is 00:11:26 Yes, I'm locked down. Lock in guy who trying to kill me last match. I don't know what that means. Can I play defense? Okay, ready? Does your sport have defense in it? Yeah, long sports has defense in.
Starting point is 00:11:36 Okay. Okay. Guys, what is it? I knew he was going to do that. That hurt so bad. Guys, what is the name of Apple's VR headset? Okay. Apple's VR headset.
Starting point is 00:11:52 You cannot use Apple, VR, or headset to surface the name of this. Vision Pro. Okay. You can't say Apple? No. How about best AR? Wait, you can't say A or VR? You can say A.R.
Starting point is 00:12:07 Oh. How about Best A.R? expensive most expensive AR or expensive AR expensive AR expensive AR iPhone iPhone because that'll connect it to Apple M5 AR M5 AR expensive M5 AR didn't they add like a panoramic feature or something That's not going to be the headline I need an answer here
Starting point is 00:12:29 It's expensive AR what was that the one we did M5 or IPAVR M5 AR expensive Yeah M5 AR expensive in that order. Yeah. Or expensive M5 AR. There is a drug, it looks like... Can I guess one?
Starting point is 00:12:49 Just for... Okay. There's a firearm called the Aero Precision A.R. The Aero Precision M5, otherwise known as the ARM5, which is clouding a lot of these results. These are all about guns.
Starting point is 00:13:01 Wait, can I guess one just for fun, even though I don't get points? Wait. Or I already get points. Make sure it's not on there. Yeah, I searched there any. Unfortunately? Oh my gosh, really?
Starting point is 00:13:09 That is a point for Andrew. Shoot. This one routinely stumped our test sets. I got it. Yeah. Vision OS. You can't use the word of vision. I can use Vision.
Starting point is 00:13:19 No. Okay. So, 3,500 XR headset. You cannot use headset. You can't use it. It's an Apple Vision Pro. Yeah. Oh, okay.
Starting point is 00:13:29 Yeah. I know. I just wanted to show them up. Just want to flex on. All right. Vision OS. It's not Vision OS. It's one word.
Starting point is 00:13:37 Is it one word? It is one word. It doesn't matter because we're back to team. I guess. the missing president. Yeah, shut up, Marcus. Take it away. The T-Mobile hip-top.
Starting point is 00:13:47 What's up, bestie? Two scrawny white guys. Do internet meme? Guys, the T-Mobile hip-top was also known as what? I don't know what that is. The hip-top was the... Oh, gosh. I don't know what the hip-top was.
Starting point is 00:14:07 It was literally the first... It's been a trivia question before. It was the most popular. The sidekick. The sidekick? But we can't use sidekick. Why not? Because we can't use that.
Starting point is 00:14:17 Shoot. Oh, whose music video was that? Is there a song called Sidekick? No, but there's one where she uses it in the beginning of the music video. Phone beginning music video. Sorry, sorry. No. Okay.
Starting point is 00:14:30 How about it? I got it. I got it. Phone music Excel. That is pretty good. It's a soldier boy video. I don't know. Is it the command F?
Starting point is 00:14:44 You didn't say anything. I started to it and then you talked over me. We were over it. I'm sorry, guys. That did not serve this. What was yours? What was yours? Mine was Kim Possible, Rufus. That's three words.
Starting point is 00:14:56 That's an animated show. Kim Possible's a name. Yeah, but it's his sidekick. But her sidekick. So in test subjects, the two groups that did get this, the first one googled superhero other guy. Yeah. And then I. Superhero other guy?
Starting point is 00:15:11 Superhero being one word. A lot of compound. warrant's here. The other one that worked was Tony Hawkphone. Tony Hawk phone. Sidekick. He was in all the ads for it.
Starting point is 00:15:20 So it was the sidekick, right? It was the sidekick. Marquez, congratulations on your point. Hard earned. I'll take it. Thank you for the point. Also, Andrew, was Kelly Rowland.
Starting point is 00:15:31 It's not Silver Boy? Oh, it's Kelly Rolland. What song? Do you remember the song? It was Dilemma by Nelly and Kelly. Wait, can you search the Kim Possible one? See if it shows up. Kim Possible Rufus.
Starting point is 00:15:41 Impossible Rufus. It probably says sidekicks somewhere in there. Which is why I was trying to tell. But we have had to do... Oh, come on. It was after the thing. It was not on there. Okay. Okay.
Starting point is 00:15:52 There you go. All right. All right. Okay. The original... Wait. This is Team lawn sports. Yes.
Starting point is 00:16:00 Team lawn sports. The original iPod's physical appearance was inspired by the Braun T3 radio, which was designed by who? Oh. I know this one. I'm trying to design that. This is a trivia question. He was the lead designer at Braun. This is someone we've talked about before.
Starting point is 00:16:19 One of most famous designers of all time. Yes? I should not have said that. I still have no idea who it is. Most famous designers. I don't know. I just Google most famous designers. Honestly, that's an excellent strat.
Starting point is 00:16:32 Yeah. Or famous industrial designer? You think it's one of the most famous designers of all time? Famous product designers? Need an answer. Why, that's why I said industrial. Famous product designers. Honestly, yeah.
Starting point is 00:16:47 That's a great. That's a really good one to be honest. Yep, he's there. Dieter Rams. Incredible work, Marquez. Good job, Marquez. Thank you. All right.
Starting point is 00:16:54 Go vague. Honestly, yeah. Go vague. Shoot, I'm falling behind right now. This is team phone zone. All right, phone zone. Bestie, let's go. Let's do it.
Starting point is 00:17:05 Marquez Brownlee, also known as MKBHD, once made a video on something called Aerosnap, which was a window management app for what operating system? Arrow snap. So that was for XP to be a Vista feature because it was built into Vista, but I made a video on getting ArrowSnap for XP.
Starting point is 00:17:23 Okay, so XP is what we have to figure out. So we just need to Google, like, best Windows version, and XP has to be on the first page. How about old Windows versions? Or famous wallpaper, too. Old Windows. Famous Windows wallpaper or something. Famous Windows wallpaper.
Starting point is 00:17:40 Yeah. Yeah, let's do that. Famous Windows wallpaper. All right, congratulations. I remember making that video. I have no idea what you were talking about. I don't even know what that is. I got you.
Starting point is 00:17:57 Should we go around one more time and move on to the next game? Yeah, I like this. That was good. We have to do a full cycle, yeah. One more cycle. One more cycle. So three more questions. All right, Bestie.
Starting point is 00:18:08 I won't yell at you this time. I'm just kidding, no promises. They started the timer way faster on that one, and we were... Yeah. Team missing president. Apple used to make a router. What was it called? Power.
Starting point is 00:18:23 Is that what it was called? No, it's airport extreme. Airport extreme. I think it just could... Yeah, airport, airport extreme. Oh, uh, old... EWR. Old...
Starting point is 00:18:32 Why don't we just do an airport? Oh, yeah. LaGuardia, EWR, JFK. Yeah, yeah. LaGuardia. F-O. Yeah. Just like LGA, SFO, J-F-K.
Starting point is 00:18:48 Do E-W-R instead of J-F-K? E-W-R-S-F-O-L-GA. No parking or something? It's just going to say airports. That's fine. Do you have to say extreme, too, or no? No. Oh, you said it just says to do airport.
Starting point is 00:19:04 They had a regular one called the airport, and then there was an airport extreme. I think so. I think you're right. We were looking for airport extreme, but I will give you airport because that that was a product. Yeah. Okay. Thanks. Sorry to cut you off on your thought, but there was the easier version available.
Starting point is 00:19:16 David's second point. No, David's, you have more than two points. You should have three points because you got the one with Marquez on that last one. Team Lawn Sports. In June of 2013, Google purchased this company for $1.3 billion. What was that company? 2013? Apple.
Starting point is 00:19:35 So this is post- YouTube. It was 07 for a billion. Here's a hint. Marquez uses this every day. Is it post-year? Fitbit. Fitbit. Okay, so.
Starting point is 00:19:47 That was too long ago. I'm not, sorry. I'm not going to stop talking. Fitness tracker. Do you think it's Fippet? I don't know what else it would be. Most of they buy for a billion dollars. Wearable fitness tracker.
Starting point is 00:20:00 I don't know what else. Is it not Fippet? I don't know the answers. They didn't buy Fitbit. I'm good at the other part. It's not Fitbit, but I'm really curious if it'll happen to come up. We could also Google largest Google acquisitions. And it would probably come up.
Starting point is 00:20:09 It was 2021 when they bought Fitbit, right? Sorry, we were looking for ways. That is a Fitbit. 5th point. When do they buy Fitbit? 2021? I don't know. You're the one that's a computer.
Starting point is 00:20:19 Would it be allowed for me to say? I can't say Google probably. You might have been able to get away with Alph. Yeah, exactly. Can I get a point for that at him? Damn. I do use Ways every day. That's good.
Starting point is 00:20:34 Good job. Ways sucks. So I got that point, right? You gave me that point. You're right. You're right. You get, just making sure you guys gave him the point. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:20:42 Rufitz, did we give him the point? Did we give him the point? Did we give him the point? David? David the point? David the point. Oh, because they got it wrong. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:20:49 Oh, my God. I think there was only two of those. Don't talk to my boy, Rufus like that. Ellis's web app that was delivered. Doesn't have a plus or minus button. It just has a left button and a right button. Excel. It's just Excel.
Starting point is 00:21:07 We should just want. The web app was delivered. Web app delivered. The phone zone. What? iconic designer is responsible for brushed aluminum, the death of skeu-morphism, and Steve Jobs yacht. Ferrari-Lucci designer. He can't say designer.
Starting point is 00:21:25 Ferrari-Lucci guy. Love from. Do you say Apple in that? Honestly, you could just go. Just say Apple. One shot, Love From. Apple, Love From Guy. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:21:36 Yeah. You want to go bald? No, it's a brand. Love From is one word. It's a one word. It's one word. Also, we could just do Love From and it'll come up. I know, but let's just do Apple Love from Guy.
Starting point is 00:21:47 Sure. Yeah. You didn't say Apple in the question of this one? Didn't say Apple. Yeah, good same. All right, way to go. Let's go. Easy.
Starting point is 00:21:55 That was the easiest one. That was the easiest one. That was the easiest one. Yeah. We have one more game before we go to break. Okay. Okay. This one will also be done in teams.
Starting point is 00:22:07 So you'll be able to... Same kind of teams. Same kind of teams. We're just going to keep it going. This game is called... That's a... totally normal thing to say. We did a version of this in the past where I gave you quotes and you would to guess which
Starting point is 00:22:21 tech CEO said it. This one has a twist. The twist is, if you think that this quote is in fact a totally normal thing to say, I will give you five points on the spot for tweeting it out of context right now. What? Yeah. I haven't tweeted in three years. You.
Starting point is 00:22:45 If you both teammates want the points, you both have to tweet it. I feel like the five points should be weighted. Are they? Fine. I'll come up with those specific point value for each one. Are they things that these CEOs have said? Yeah. Okay.
Starting point is 00:22:59 They're taken completely out of context. They're taken completely out of context. Yeah. And we're also not billionaires. No. Maybe people will understand that we're quoting the CEOs and they won't get it. You have to do it right now, which means you. You almost a week before the context comes out about it.
Starting point is 00:23:17 Andrew, you see now why I messaged you asking if you had any active social media accounts related to your internet person? I can do it on an end. Oh, I have to tweet it. You have to tweet it. I'd post that shit on LinkedIn every single one. Honestly, I would put that on LinkedIn right now. Yeah. Do Twitter.
Starting point is 00:23:33 Are you sure about that? Do Twitter, wait. Do Twitter because David's doing his. So, David, you're willing to tweet whatever or post on LinkedIn whatever I'm about to say right now? Is it an Eohan quote? because I really don't want to post any along quotes. Some of these are going to be multiple choice because not all tech CEOs are household names.
Starting point is 00:23:49 If they are a household name, I will probably not make it more choice. In this house? Team missing president. Okay. The quote is, let me show you. But first, let's set the mood. Was it said by A, Google CEO, Sundar Pichai? No.
Starting point is 00:24:05 B, future Apple CEO, John Turness. Maybe. C, Apple executive, Craig Federici. almost definitely. Yes. Or D. Milwaukee Bucks Power Forward, Kyle Kuzma. It's not a CEO.
Starting point is 00:24:19 Neither is Craig. Oh, yeah. Oh, we're just executive. Probably Craig Fedderfriky, for sure. Yeah, Craig Federegi is correct. Well done. I would tweet that right now. I'll give you, I think Marquez right, it's going to be a scale.
Starting point is 00:24:35 I'll give you one point for tweeting that out of context. But Andrew also needs to do. I'm not tweet. I'm not tweeting anything. Tom's screwing. Because nobody else has the doll. I'll change that rule. If you want to tweet, let me show you, but first I'll set the mood.
Starting point is 00:24:52 Out of context. Is that worth it? Right now, I'll give you one point. Let's move on. I'll think about it. All right. Team lawn sports. The quote is,
Starting point is 00:25:01 Dr. Chat GPT is a better doctor than 99% of doctors. Hint, the VC firm owned by this person invests in a medical LLM. Yep. Was it? A. Don Valentine, founder of Sequoia. B, Mark Andresen. That's who I was going to guess. We all know Mark Andreason. C. Chummouth, the king of Spack.
Starting point is 00:25:25 Or D. Larry Page. I think Mark Andreessen. I'll go with that. That sounds like something he would say and invest heavily into something along those lines. Final answer, Mark Andreessen? I trust you. Let's do it. Mark Andreessen is correct. Shook your head no.
Starting point is 00:25:42 first. But that was probably just because you were thinking about what he said. All right. Team Phone Zone. Are you ready for the next quote? I'm ready. Right for the next quote. Okay. This one's a long one. Oh. Okay. We ask not what you can do for your country. I'm sorry. I'm sorry people of the internet for blocking my face. I just, I need to read this. All right. The quote is, the infinite bowl making machine. It can make salads. It can make fast casual Mexican. It can make Greek bowls. Pokey. Any kind of bowl. The beautiful thing about this machine is the bowl is actually on a maglev.
Starting point is 00:26:18 Was this quote said by? A. Scott Boatwright, CEO of Chipotle. B. Jonathan Neiman, the CEO of Sweet Green. C. Jalen Brunson, investor and board member of Just Salon. Notice how I didn't say NBA champion. Or D. Mark Lour, the CEO of Wonder. I don't really know any of these guys, but I'm going to guess D. because Wonder makes a lot of different types of foods.
Starting point is 00:26:45 Yeah, I don't know this either. So, yeah. Unless you want to go with sweet green or just salad. I don't. I don't want to. Let's go. D is correct. Let's go.
Starting point is 00:26:56 Although it is worth noting, he is describing a patent that he bought off of the people at Sweet Green. Next quote. Infinite point machine, am I right? That's right. Wait, they got infinite points from that? Do you know what Wonder is? I have no idea.
Starting point is 00:27:11 It's like, it's like, a restaurant that is many restaurants. Oh, like a ghost kitchen? No one wants to tweet that? I'll give you three points for tweeting that. That bowl machine thing? The infinite bull machine, yeah. Isn't it a whole thing?
Starting point is 00:27:23 I think I could. How long do I have to keep it on my page for? Ever. Until this episode comes out plus a week. Jeez. Because that people can go to your Twitter and see. I think there will be better quotes. I think they'll be better quotes.
Starting point is 00:27:35 Okay, fine. How about this one? I don't know about better. Team missing president. The quote is, and this is not a multiple choice one. All right, best do let's go. I just killed. a pig and a goat.
Starting point is 00:27:45 I know who that is. Give me the answers. It sounds like Zuck. Give me the questions. There's no multiple choice. Oh. I'm guessing Zuckl. This sounds like Zuck.
Starting point is 00:27:54 This sounds like Zuck. And his, yeah, cattle farm-esque stuff. I'm down for Mark Zagreb. Yeah. Oh, yeah. Yeah. This is definitely Zuck.
Starting point is 00:28:04 Yeah, no, that's Zuck. That's Zuck for sure. Nice job, guys. Yeah. That's the tame as Zuck quote you could have ever bit. I would still rather tweet. about the Infinite Bowl machine, though. Here's another one. This is for team.
Starting point is 00:28:16 Long games. Long games. Thank you. Long sports. Long sports. It's a sport, not a game, mom. Dota 2 is a sport. It's not a game. I think a majority of people don't enjoy the majority of time they spend
Starting point is 00:28:32 making music. Yeah. Was this A, the CEO of Micron? Wasn't it? Oh, wait, sorry. Sorry. I'm talking about.
Starting point is 00:28:44 Thank you. Was it A. Mikey Shulman, CEO of Suno. Was it B. Daniel X. CEO of Spotify. Was it C. Alex Carp,
Starting point is 00:28:52 CEO of Palantir. Or was it D? Kyle Kuzma, power forward for the Milwaukee Bucks. You think it's Spotify? Yeah. Over Suna, the one that does AI music.
Starting point is 00:29:04 Oh. Damn. I think. You think is that. You might be right, but it makes more sense for it to be a. A. It doesn't answer.
Starting point is 00:29:10 A. Okay. A. You guys, no one's gotten one of these wrong. That's crazy. Yeah, we're cooking. Now I know who that carp guy is. Alice Carp is the Palantir. Yeah. Yes. Combined technology and markets, and you get what Nick Lanz has termed, the techno capital machine, the engine of perpetual material creation, growth, and abundance.
Starting point is 00:29:32 We believe the techno capital machine of markets and innovation never ends, but instead spirals continuously upward. This is not also Mark Andreson? Yeah, it was Mark Andreessen. We'll take the points. We'll take the points. All right. Incredible.
Starting point is 00:29:54 All right. These people say these things? All right. This will be the last one before we go to break. Too many executives have like podcasts and Twitter. That was actually from his manifest. Yeah, from the techno-optimist manifest. What's even, what the funniest part when I was reading that manifesto looking for quotes.
Starting point is 00:30:11 Yeah. Was, um, at the end he's like, that's why you're reading it. Yeah. At the end, he's like, if you want to read more of these ideas, you should check out these authors. And the first author on the list. No, it was the Beth Jzos Twitter account. What a loser. All right.
Starting point is 00:30:26 This is another long one. Are you guys ready? What team was that? That was you. Phone. No, phone zone. No, phone zone. Yes, it's us now.
Starting point is 00:30:32 This one is not multiple choice. Okay. So there's three more. You're doing three more? I think this is going to be the last one and I think this one I'll open it up to everybody. Don't you have to end on phone zone? Yeah, but I want to do one more.
Starting point is 00:30:44 Oh. So this one, no teams, whoever gets... Oh, this is just anyone? Yeah, yeah. Elon Musk. Why don't we whiteboard this one since we're going to break out? Oh, okay. Everyone have a whiteboard?
Starting point is 00:30:53 Yep. Okay. This is a long one. So pay attention. All right. I think the only way to solve obesity in America is to allow anybody to eat as much as they want of anything.
Starting point is 00:31:05 with no self-control or changes to their physical activity whatsoever. It has to be the Holy Grail, or we're all just going to keep dying of obesity and related problems. And so, if you're a food scientist, you generally make things out of foodstuffs, and I think that's a big mistake. If you're a chemical engineer, excuse me, if you're a chemical engineer or a material engineer,
Starting point is 00:31:28 and you want to make something with a certain texture, a certain feel, a certain property, you start with long chains of hydrocarbon. oil. It is the perfect building block for everything. You can build tires, gels, glues. You can build anything out of it. So, if you're going to try to make a fake burger that tastes like a real burger and feels like a real burger, why would you start with plants? You wouldn't build tires out of plants. You wouldn't build gels out of plants. Why not? You wouldn't build rubber out of plants. So why would you try to make something that has many of those same properties out of plants because plants suck.
Starting point is 00:32:08 So if you could make synthetic foods out of petroleum derivatives, you can make foods that have largely the same characteristics as real foods, but have zero calories because your bodies can't process them. That's, is there multiple choice? No. Oh. That was a tweet? No, wait.
Starting point is 00:32:31 That was said during an interview where this guy went so far off topic and then just dropped that absolute banger. While barefoot. Oh, yeah, while barefoot. He was not wearing shoes. Oh, that changes everything. Yeah. And not like he was in, like, his house. It seemed like he was in a studio.
Starting point is 00:32:48 I think it's that guy that I don't remember his name that I just learned about what his name was, but I wrote something else. All right. What do we got? I said Elon. Elon is unfortunately incorrect. That's really good. I said Elon also. That is unfortunately incorrect.
Starting point is 00:33:01 I said the David bars guy. Is that a guy? Yeah. The guy who made David bars? It can be a... Oh, David bars. That was everyone's favorite... Careful.
Starting point is 00:33:16 Caramel is. Everyone's favorite in Minecraft. Palmer Lucky. Oh. Palmer Lucky wants you to eat petroleum. He didn't even talk about weapons once. What? He didn't even talk about weapons once?
Starting point is 00:33:29 Or how cool is you? He did in the... Or is Game Boy or his Wifus? He talked more about weapons in this interview than the Game Boy, if I remember correctly. It was a long one. This was when I had to comb through and then when I found this jam about how you can eat as much petroleum as you want and not get fat because there's no calories that... Anyway... Yeah, Rufus brought up a really good point.
Starting point is 00:33:51 Rubbers are a play. Yeah. Well, you also brought up the point that gasoline by weight is one of the most... Yeah, it's one of the most calorie-rich foods... prod, you know, not foods. If you had a gallon of gasoline, you would be fed for the rest of your life. I'll let. Anyway, don't eat gasoline.
Starting point is 00:34:07 I don't recommend it. How many calories are in a gallon of gasoline? We'll be right back. The Hulu original series Furious is coming to Disney Plus, starring Emmy Rossum. Starting point is 00:35:33 Wayfair, every style, every home. Welcome back, everybody, to return of trivia. Extravaganza? I should have tweeted. Guys, you should have tweeted. You should have tweeted all of it. Yeah, true. Every single one. Especially the petroleum one.
Starting point is 00:35:46 That one would have been annoying just to type. I would have, I would have slack to say it. You know, whatever. Honestly. I don't have blue. Yeah. It would have probably been ennoxious enough that people would have realized that was not something I would be normally saying. We're playing more team, extrivia, travaganza, super.
Starting point is 00:36:04 Extrivia. The greatest thing ever. We're going to play around a taboo. It's exactly like the, it's nothing, it's nothing like the trademarked game taboo. You know, where I'm going to, there's going to be teams again, the same three teams we've been doing this whole time. I'm going to slack you, or excuse me, I'm going to slack one of you a word and then you need to give your partner three words that are not that word to have them guess the word I slacked you. For example, maybe Adam gets the word. I can't think of anything that's not on this list right now
Starting point is 00:36:43 because my brain is fried from the heat. Sure, SM7B. Yeah, exactly. I'll slack Adam, sure SM7B, and then Adam would say to his hypothetical to Rufus. My podcast, Mike. Yeah. And then Rufus would say SMC70B.
Starting point is 00:36:58 We all make sense, we're clear. So only one guess from the guesser? One single word. Yes. Got it. Um, okay. Not one single guess. Some of the answers have multiple words.
Starting point is 00:37:09 Team. Missing presidents. It is so hot in here. Yeah. I have a fine layer of moisture. Wait, so how is, so. I was about, I know what you're going to ask and I have the answer right now. I'm going to ask which one of you wants to be the receiver of my word and which one of
Starting point is 00:37:24 you wants to be the guesser of your partner's clues. What do you want to do? Do you want to be clue giver or clue guesser? Cluegiver. Okay. All right. David. I'm going to give her like Chapo Rhone.
Starting point is 00:37:36 And obviously, you cannot use, I just slacked it to, you cannot use any of the words that I just gave you. Okay, so only three words. Yes, you have three words to give the Andrew. Okay. Third Apple phone. Okay, say that. I will not let you use the word phone. Well, now it's, yeah, that's.
Starting point is 00:38:05 I think it's an auto loss. Is that ruined? Third Apple handheld. What do you think? I need to confer with the council. It is allowed. iPhone 3GS. Team missing presidents.
Starting point is 00:38:19 You've each been awarded one point. Yes. All right. Team Phone Zone. It is, yeah, it is a tough one of if you say the word, but it can't be used. Well, the one that I was stuck on was you said third, and it's three G.S. And I was like, third spelled out is different than the number.
Starting point is 00:38:39 I know, but it's the same thing. So I was like, but you're right. That's the conclusion I came to as well. So I was like, alright. Marcus, what do you want to do? I'm about to make these harder. Okay. Glad I got the point.
Starting point is 00:38:48 Let me go clue. I'll go give her. I'll go clue to her. Yeah, yeah. I'll guess. Great. Wow, that's done. Yeah, okay.
Starting point is 00:38:55 Well, great. This is going to suck. I'm going to try. My best. Marcus says no. Oh, it's on my slack. You have the word. Oh, okay.
Starting point is 00:39:05 Typing bad switches. Bad switches. So mechanical. mechanical. It's like the red, the good switches for typing. So the bad switches we're typing are like rubber, which are like chicklets. I got to pick one word for a bad type of switch. Not one word. This particular one has two words as the answer. But you get one guess. Chicklet style. Is that, I don't know enough about keywords to know if that's correct. I don't think so. Butterfly keyboard. Oh. Yeah, there's a lot of. I'm sorry. I should have went laptop more.
Starting point is 00:39:43 Honestly, me being me is probably what screwed that of. Broken MacBook feature. Yeah. Broken MacBook. Bad Apple. I couldn't say keys or buttons, I guess I could have said. Bad Apple buttons. Bad Apple buttons.
Starting point is 00:39:57 Bad Apple buttons. If I said crappy MacBook switches, would you have gotten that? Yeah. Okay. I should have MacBook. I was thinking in your lane of like. I know, I know. The minute you said Reds, I was like.
Starting point is 00:40:09 Oh, give David a point. Thank you. He did. It was done. I can't see if I didn't even get points. Phone zone. Okay. Who will receive my word?
Starting point is 00:40:21 Do you want me to receive it again? Who wants to receive the word? I'll try it. Let's give it to Marquez this time. I'll try it. I'll give the clues. I'm all scared, but. Okay, I got it.
Starting point is 00:40:38 Worst product ever. You made an AI pin. That is one phone zone point. Nice. All right, back to team missing presidents. I was like, that's too vague, which is really bad for Humane, that it was that vague,
Starting point is 00:40:55 and you got in 0.5 seconds. That's an easy point, yeah. What do you want to do? We got it right last time. Okay. Should we run it back? I was kind of cheating, though. So it's up to you.
Starting point is 00:41:05 What do you think? Can I try and read a good giver? Can I try and redeem myself from the other dean? Sure, yeah. Okay, I'll do the clue again. All right, I'll be the receiver. Get a delete this. You have to delete this.
Starting point is 00:41:17 Okay. Between CPU fan. What? That's acceptable, but I think you're wrong. Am I right? Just let them. Those are his three words. Between CPU and the fan.
Starting point is 00:41:35 So it's either thermal paste or filter. Thermal paste? I thought it's a thermal paste goes between your CPU and your heatsick. But I could still feel that store. The heat sinks connected to the fan. The heat sinks two words. That was like good enough to it. You're right. No, you're right.
Starting point is 00:41:49 I shouldn't have interfered. They worried me about that. I'm like, I'm pretty sure I built more computers than Ellis. I would have had thermal paste too. Someone write down that Ellis has minus one point for that one. That was good. That was good. That was good. I don't think I could have done that as well.
Starting point is 00:42:04 So that's good. That one stumped a lot of people. I was said on top CPU. Yeah. Yeah. I guess you could have thought the heat sink was on top of the CPU. Cooling CPU gel. Gel would have been a good.
Starting point is 00:42:16 Yeah. CpU cooling. cooling gel. I used goop in all of mine. But anyway, team lawn sports. Do you want to do a clue this time? Sure. Okay. I'm going to clue. Sorry, Marquez is doing the clue. I'm going to need something. Intel based or Apple Silicon. Yeah, I think that's what you would, yeah.
Starting point is 00:42:57 It's an AMD. arm we're looking for arm advanced risk machine how else what I've gotten someone to say arm oh are not leg butt I would say oh I guess start of hand I would say M series architecture wait does the hand under I guess I could have just said yeah series architecture between hand and children I would have gotten that wrong that's I'm being honest okay that was done with me I could have said that no that was a hard one more test that was a really hard one all right I would have screwed that this is cooking us This is crazy.
Starting point is 00:43:30 Phone zone. Phone zone. Okay. All right. Yeah. Remember Marquez, if I win, you win. Right. Are you cluing or am I cluing?
Starting point is 00:43:38 Do you want to be the receiver or the giver? You'll clue, I'll guess. All clue. Yeah. I'll clue for you. Oh, come on. Okay. What, David?
Starting point is 00:43:48 Mark Zuckerberg film. The social network. Yes. Pretty good. Nice. Nice. That's really easy, but I think that's just a really good clue. I was like Marquez doesn't watch movies.
Starting point is 00:44:00 I know that one, though. Okay, that's good. Yeah. Legendary film. All right. David Fincher movie. David Fincher Andrew. Who?
Starting point is 00:44:08 That's true. Andrew Garfield, wasn't it? David Fincher, Andrew Garfield, Mangonelli. Who wants to be the guesser and who wants to receive the clue? You want me to... You choose whichever you want to do. Oh. You do it for me.
Starting point is 00:44:25 Okay. Yeah. What is it, Andrew? Kodak, film, uh, ISO. Um, it's like ASA,
Starting point is 00:44:48 but like I can't. What? Kodak film ISO. Uh, I should have thought of it. Sensitivity? No. I was just thinking of like
Starting point is 00:45:02 standard ISO is 800. It was Portra 800. That's the point. Because that's a point for you. I am so happy to take that point. You didn't even guess the type of film. No, because... What clue would you have given for portrait?
Starting point is 00:45:15 Yeah, what clue would you have given for... Yeah, yeah. Nothing. You wouldn't have gotten any... Yeah. That one was really... That's why nobody likes film. All right, all right, all right, all right.
Starting point is 00:45:26 Wow. I wish Tim was here. Law and sports, my man. Law and sports. What do you want to do? Oh, sorry. Wow. What do you want to do?
Starting point is 00:45:33 That has I have you clue Okay, let's do it I would have said the best Kodak film I've only ever heard of Kodak Portra 400 So I just assumed that was the one everyone loves It is I like 800 better That's really good
Starting point is 00:45:49 Marquez does not need to give me This like the exact name of this You'll know it or you want Okay but I'm going to say a word and tell me really quick If it's one or two Mac OS That's fine MacOS freezing icon
Starting point is 00:46:03 macOS freezing icon macOS freezing freezing icon need an answer if he gets
Starting point is 00:46:22 when he gets it wrong can I just try one different word and see if he gets it from that sure but David will be yes but David will be receiving the point yeah I don't know
Starting point is 00:46:30 macOS freezing cursor oh beach ball oh icon I was thinking of icons it is also a beach ball of death that was word for word that's what he wrote But yeah. David.
Starting point is 00:46:41 Congratulations. Sorry, I used Ike on instead of cursor. I still think. Keep it cooking. I'll have to be real real real real real quick. What? What? In the middle of the podcast?
Starting point is 00:46:51 2000. I don't even know if I'm in it. I don't see. What is this? This is the fakesest thing I've ever seen you do. I like, no, it's a. I've never seen you be real once in your life. I just started doing it again with two people.
Starting point is 00:47:04 Why? What? Because it's the only way we communicate. Oh, my God. All right. Team Phonezone No, yes, team phone zone. Are we having fun?
Starting point is 00:47:12 Do we want to do one more these? I like this. I like this except for when our team gets, I don't care about that. All right, team phone zone. I feel like I let someone down. Lock in. Do you want to you want me to clue?
Starting point is 00:47:24 Yeah, because I clued for you last time. All right, I'll clue. Yeah. That was a very intense look for a second. Is you give me. I'm ready. Weekly? No, that's not what I'm.
Starting point is 00:47:43 want to say. Sorry, yeah, I don't want to say that. We're going to erase that from my brain. Okay. Strike it. Pre- YouTube video. Pre- YouTube video. What was before YouTube?
Starting point is 00:48:05 TV show. Flash. We were looking for... Daily motion. Daily motion? That's a really specific one. Yeah, there's a couple... Daily motion is not the one where they were like all died, right?
Starting point is 00:48:20 What's the one that had all the animations? And that was LiveLeak, you're thinking of either E-BOMS world or... LiveLeaks does not have animations. No, yeah, yeah. What's the one with all the animations? It was... MiniClip?
Starting point is 00:48:32 Like, mini-clip or E-Bomb's World? They all had, like, flash animations. But there was one where a bunch of careers got kicked off from this website. College humor? Is you a mini-clip? No, Miniclip was a game website. I know. I had a...
Starting point is 00:48:44 One of the keyword search questions that we didn't use, mini-clip was the answer. And I was like, there's no way any of them know what that is. Oh, we don't. Oh, of course you. You're younger than you. Are you thinking of new grounds? New grounds.
Starting point is 00:48:56 New grounds. New grounds. Yeah, I was going to try to do something like weekly movement. Daily motion is a really specific version of it. Daily motion is what I got. I never really watched daily motion. Actually, weekly was probably a better clue. I don't even know what you mean by that.
Starting point is 00:49:11 Yeah, I realize it would have taken too many words to do that. Dang. One more round? Yeah, yeah, yeah. Damn, Andrew. I'm going to wait for that. Yeah. So that's me and Andrew.
Starting point is 00:49:21 I'm really cooked on the team stuff. I'm getting... Okay, you clue because of how mad you were at me last time. What? Give him a keyboard one so I can call him an idiot. I didn't call you an idiot. I said that was a hard... That was a dumb question.
Starting point is 00:49:35 Oh. Because nobody else knows the shit I know. Good save. Nobody here cares about the same shit I care about like Street Late Manifesto. I'd laugh so hard if the thing you just sent him with Streetlight Manifesto. That would be amazing. I should have used that one. Okay.
Starting point is 00:49:54 Device Painting Company. Colorware. Yep. Colorware is correct? Bang it. Okay. Good job using painting and not.
Starting point is 00:50:06 Coloring. Well, Dbrand would be the other thing you would think of. Oh, I see. But they don't paint. That was money. I'll clue this one. I'll stop the world and clue for you. Wait, you haven't gotten any of them right.
Starting point is 00:50:19 No. And like I said, I'm getting cooked right now. And David has way too many points. All right. I just have to get him to say that. Yes. Okay. That would give you 10 points if you tweeted.
Starting point is 00:50:35 Anthropics, LLM, name. I should have made a rule about that. It sounds too easy. Claude? Okay. Okay, my bad. Minus two points for Ellis. If you'd put Anthropic in there, it would have been harder.
Starting point is 00:50:49 But I feel like that was pretty easy. That was hell of easy. That was pretty easy. That was easier than the Windows X-P. I know. I get it. I ruined it. I ruined everything. You guys want to hear a fun fact.
Starting point is 00:51:00 Okay. Okay. So back in the day, around the time of in the Great Gatsby time, they had this special glass that you would look at, that you would look at sunsets. It was that you would look at the reflection of a sunset. And it sort of, it was almost like an ND filter, but also a mirror. And it was called clawed glass. and you would use it to watch the sunset.
Starting point is 00:51:21 Where did you learn about this? I'm on a podcast. Okay, because I'm reading a book right now, and I learned about what this is like two days ago. It's called the Great Gatsby. No, no. It's called. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:51:38 The Alps, a human history from Hannibal to Heidi and beyond by Stephen O'Sha. And they talk about Claude Glass and that? Yeah, they do. Yeah. Anyway, I was thinking that I wonder if Claude Anthropic is supposed to be like a looking glass. You're looking in a mirror sort of at. To reflection of humanity?
Starting point is 00:51:54 Yeah. Damn, that might be too deep for them. I think that's what it might be about. Maybe. I just, I thought it was Claude Monet. I thought they were just like, and then Google's like, nanobanana. All right, last one before we take it to break.
Starting point is 00:52:06 Okay. This is team phone zone. Phone zone. Do you want to clue or an urs? I'll do it for you because you just did it for me. Okay. Send it Ellis. I did.
Starting point is 00:52:23 Okay. Apple 720P screen. iPhone 10R. I get the site for my answer. I was looking for retina display. Yeah. Remember when Steve Jobs branded it, retina? Was it 480?
Starting point is 00:52:49 Retino was just a matter It's a moving target But it is a pixel density over like 350 or something on your phone Because you can't discern individual pixels Yeah I should have said like Apple minimum pixel You should say yeah like can't see pixels or something
Starting point is 00:53:04 But 720P specifically was like a big Talking point with the iPhone 10R Because it was like a Oh only 720P And everyone was like well you can't really tell It's basically you know John Morrison like tape the outsides of two of them I put up next to it was also that it was an LCD though
Starting point is 00:53:19 Whereas the regular 10 was an O-led. But I remember the 720P bothering people on that one. I went a little too nerdy on that. But that, now I get it. That was a tough. Damn. That was tough. How far behind am I?
Starting point is 00:53:31 I'm getting. I mean, we just gave Andrew a point, too. Oh, no. I might have gotten the worst of that last game. Don't worry. I'm going to get the 300 point question. We'll be right back after this break, everybody. What could I have said to get 800?
Starting point is 00:53:49 in one word. Summer heats up in FX's The Shards. Set in 80s, Los Angeles, the Shards follows a group of beautiful, privileged prep school students who are preyed on by The Trawler, a serial killer targeting teenagers across the city. This fever dream of youth,
Starting point is 00:54:20 beauty, sex, and mystery is a must see. FX's The Shards, streaming August 5th on Hulu on Disney Plus. Sign up now at Disneyplus.com. back to the final segment of Waitform trivia extravaganza, the return of. We're going to be doing a game that we've already played. It's called Reddit feud. It was invented by Rufus.
Starting point is 00:54:44 It's awesome. It's one of my favorite games. I'm going to read you a Reddit post. Quinn then performed a sentiment analysis. I repeat, sentiment analysis on the comments of said Reddit post. And you guys have to tell, and we're divided it into the top 10 things that people commented. you have to guess what the most common things people commented, not the most upvoted,
Starting point is 00:55:06 the most common things that people commented. And it's like we say one thing when we buzz? Yes. And when you get it right, you have control of the board, meaning you can guess until you get it wrong. Oh, like it's,
Starting point is 00:55:19 well, so well, it's hard. Can I ask the question that you don't have to leave in the pod? It's fine. So it's not taking into account upvotes? No. This is the most common thing people call.
Starting point is 00:55:31 commented. I feel like that's like not accurately describing the comment section of a Reddit thing because you can assume that every upvote counts as the same thing said again. You sound like a real redditor. I know. We can make it most upvoted. We have those comments with us, but that makes the game so much harder because you're guessing what one person out of 10. No, yeah. I guess like it's, if it's sent. I promise. I see what you mean. This really distills the opinions of Reddit down into a hive mind. When we get through this. Okay.
Starting point is 00:56:04 All right. Rufus, since you unfortunately have to leave to go to Philadelphia, God's country, would you like to pick the question that we open up with? Hello, dear listeners slash viewer. So this is Adam coming from the future
Starting point is 00:56:17 to tell you that this particular part of the podcast was a little bit hard to show visually what was happening with the score. Thankfully, Ellis and Rufus had a nifty app that they were using to keep track of the score. So the winner at the end is the correct winner all the points were accounted for. But there's just so many points up for grabs here
Starting point is 00:56:32 that it didn't really make sense to show it in the edit. So yeah, let's get back into it. How do we buzz? What is the... Yeah, let's... What's the rule of answering the question? Well, you just buzz. Like, I'm going to read you this question,
Starting point is 00:56:47 and then you can sort of buzz. And then once you buzz, you answer the question. And then if you get it right, you can answer more questions or you can keep guessing of other things. So there's going to be the 10 most popular answers. So you can just keep trying to shoot for other answers on the board if you get it right. If you get it wrong, you die and your chance goes to somebody. Like anybody else can then just buzz in whenever they want.
Starting point is 00:57:08 So it becomes anyone's game. We'll start off with question number one, straight and simple. If you were given a one-way ticket to Mars, would you do it from R-slash Ask Reddit? Oh, I can go? Yeah. I wouldn't want to be first. That is... Yep, that's the number four answer.
Starting point is 00:57:30 for later missions. Cool. No. Sorry, you're right, you're right, you're right, you're right. Okay. Only if it is SpaceX. No, I don't think. No.
Starting point is 00:57:48 Number two answer. Okay. No. Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait. No. Thanks. Give me a reason why no. I don't want to die.
Starting point is 00:57:58 There we go. Okay. No is the number eighth answer. No fear of death slash survival. concerns. But there's also a no, that's the number two answer? I mean, there's a few different, like, it's either sort of like yes and no and. Oh, yes.
Starting point is 00:58:14 Because it's Mars. Yeah. Okay. That's pretty much the one answer. Okay. Yeah. Yes. Pioneer slash explorer spirit.
Starting point is 00:58:23 No, because I live a happy, fulfilled life on Earth. That is the number two answer. No. Because Eli. Okay That's a good Got another rule Snooze you lose
Starting point is 00:58:41 But when is his question No because I would die Before getting there That is already been done That is no Wait Oh because it's too far away No, not
Starting point is 00:58:52 No sorry Does this even work? Give me a second Andrew B David How about Let's send Elon
Starting point is 00:59:04 instead. That's a good one. No. One ticket. Yes, because I want to meet the aliens. No, people continually guess that in our test rounds, but it was not on there. Andrew. Yes, because I have a blue check on
Starting point is 00:59:18 Twitter. Is so? Right? No, I'd want a round trip. No. I don't think my button works. No, I don't want to spend the rest of my life on Mars. Oh, wait, yeah, one-way ticket
Starting point is 00:59:35 That kind of implies it It'll take too long to get there That's what he said that That's what I said Yeah Oh, I I see what you mean I thought Marquez meant like
Starting point is 00:59:44 I'm gonna die before that ever happens There's a similar There's a similar answer to It'll take too long I'll get bored On the way there Yeah the trip there Are you a little
Starting point is 00:59:55 Is he still going or is it my turn No, I'll give you the pity points Number three is What would you even do there? Oh. Yeah. No, my family's not there. Lack of family?
Starting point is 01:00:09 That was actually the number two answers specifically. We already given you those points. Marquez, I'm gonna, Marquez. I missed a Marquez buzz. Couldn't spend that long on a spaceship. Yes to eat the rocks. That's good, not on the board. Dang, that's a Reddit answer.
Starting point is 01:00:26 No, it's cold. Number 10. Yes, number 10. Only of certain conditions. No, how would I breathe? Sorry. All right, David. No, how would I breathe?
Starting point is 01:00:41 Oh. Would you take? How many more are there? Can you read it one more time? There are four left. This is on Ask Reddit, R slash Ask Reddit. If given a one-way ticket to Mars, would you do it? Mark, yes.
Starting point is 01:00:55 I don't know. I don't know? That's not on there, but that is exactly the right kind of thinking. David. Yes, I hate being here. No. I think we can... I'd try anything once.
Starting point is 01:01:12 That's pretty good. Honestly? What? You don't think that's number seven? Just because of the way you said it? Yeah, I'll give notes to that. I'm cooking. What is it?
Starting point is 01:01:23 What? I am getting... It's just like... Blast joke. What? What? Huh. Is your mom one of them?
Starting point is 01:01:32 That was essentially the vibe. Yeah. I don't want to read the full thing. I'll tell you after we're done recording. But joke is good enough. Okay. Would rather go to a different place in space. Number nine, prefer moon colony instead.
Starting point is 01:01:48 That's good. Moon. It is boring. Oh, sorry. There's two more? Yeah, I can't think of anything else. What would a Redditor be most concerned about? No internet.
Starting point is 01:02:00 Oh, I should have buzzed. No internet. No Reddit. slash internet access is the sick highest. My next one was going to be motion sickness. Actually, that was going to be my one until Marquez gave it for it yet. There's one left. I don't think you guys are going to get it.
Starting point is 01:02:15 Yeah, that's going to be. It's, Andrew, you still have, I think, right? Yeah, that's fine. We can just. You don't want to go for this one? Motion sickness? Yeah. Nope.
Starting point is 01:02:25 Mars ain't the type of place to raise kids. I feel like that is the same as like I want to eat the rocks. Is it a window seat? All right, so, Andrew, you cleaned house that round. Space. Marquez, you got 57 points. Oh, my God. David, you got 51 points.
Starting point is 01:02:46 Okay, that's not that bad. Andrew, you scored 180 points. What? Brother. Oh, brother. Brother. Oh, my God. The turntables.
Starting point is 01:02:58 Okay. I got to lock in. I got a lot. Those scores already had your previous. points factored in as well. This is like this is like Oh my God. Holy I got locked in.
Starting point is 01:03:12 All right. I need to triple my score and maybe I'll be close to Andrew's score. Oh my God. Oh boy. The good news is that's possible. Yeah, it just happened. Okay.
Starting point is 01:03:24 Guys, this is on R slash stupid questions. It was asked, why are electric cars seen as the ultimate evil these days? Markers. because of where you get the minerals for the batteries, the mining, etc. That is correct. The number four answer was batteries mining slash environmental problems. Elon.
Starting point is 01:03:44 Yeah, frick. That's nine. See, virtue signaling. Hold on, hold up. I feel like. Hold your horses. Yeah, whatever. Okay, you said virtue signaling?
Starting point is 01:03:54 Yeah. Did you count his Elon one, though? Okay. Number nine was the Elon Musk factor. Okay. You can't even go far. You said range sucks. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:04:03 I don't think so. I think it's not a different. Yeah. I'm sorry. Fire safety. No. Battery fires isn't one of them? Reddit did not think so.
Starting point is 01:04:17 Marker. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I keep forgetting to clear the buses. Only rich people can afford them. Yes. Number six, cost and economic returns. Okay.
Starting point is 01:04:29 Evil. Big heavy batteries and related to big heavy. Why? Oh, it is a stupid question. Right, it is on R slash stupid question. Yes, that is infrastructure capacity issues. I'm still gone.
Starting point is 01:04:45 Let me coach, hold on. Unfortunately, that is correct. And then why are they the negative? I forgot the question already. Why are electric cars seen as the ultimate evil face it? They're not. They're not. Yeah, they're not.
Starting point is 01:05:00 They're not. That's your answer? They're not. That is the number five answer on the board. No one actually thinks that. Wait, it's the number five? Yeah. Number five answer.
Starting point is 01:05:08 There tends to always be some Reditorism. Contrarism. Yeah, just Opie is wrong. This is not real. Yeah. Damn, Marquez. Catch it up to Andrew. I need another one or two good ones.
Starting point is 01:05:19 I seed my time, but I'm going to think real hard. David. David. Okay. Because assholes own them. Market. Wait, everyone stop. Everybody slow down.
Starting point is 01:05:35 Is that the number one answer? I don't think so. I think that misses the core of it. I'm sorry, David. I buzzed. Okay. I'm going to give it to David. He's far behind.
Starting point is 01:05:44 Okay. But I'm ready. Have you seen the way they drive? That is the number eight answer. What? No, sorry. Okay. Andrew. It's no.
Starting point is 01:05:56 No, it's still me. Thank you. I lost. The new designs all look weird and evil in bed. No, Andrew. Autonomous driving. No. That's a good one.
Starting point is 01:06:08 It uses gas to power the electric charters anyway. Come on, David. You got to think stupider than this. Oh, that is stupid. Andrew. It takes forever to charge? No. That's really, it's not?
Starting point is 01:06:21 Stupider. Stupider. David, baby. Hillary Clinton. Yes. Yes. Here we go the number one answer. Political and culture of one reason.
Starting point is 01:06:32 Looking for it because woke, but I will accept Hillary Clinton. I thought when Marquez said it's not, it counted as the same thing. That is the first non-Marquez points awarded in this question. I was going to say Republicans. Yeah, no, no. But there's specifically some people wrote Elon Musk and then other people wrote because woke. And so we decided those should be separate. That makes sense.
Starting point is 01:06:57 All right. You keep going now. Okay. How many more are there? Three. Three. Three. Three.
Starting point is 01:07:00 Two, seven and ten. Are they stupider? Two of them One of them is done. Actually ruin the environment. Oh. They look stupid? I think Marquez said that.
Starting point is 01:07:14 Oh. Did you? Short lifespan? Oh, yeah. The company always go out of business. These aren't stupid enough. These also are not stupid questions. I guess they are.
Starting point is 01:07:33 Funded by Saudis. greenwashing, etc. Greenwashing. No, but that was the closest to any of you have gotten so far. Do you think we're going to get it or no? All three of these were gotten in our test rounds. Hypocrisy.
Starting point is 01:07:48 No, I mean, you're on the right track, but now. Electricity sucks. No, but that intelligence level. Yeah. They're bad? Oh. I can see what I just like gas cars. Yeah, that sounds good.
Starting point is 01:08:05 That's not one of them? That's what I was going to say. No engine noise. But none of these are why they would be evil. That's lumped into car culture. They're not why they would be evil. Did we say car culture? Yeah, it was like how they drive.
Starting point is 01:08:16 But they're not why they'd be evil. The opposite. They're quiet, so they like hit people and stuff. Tom. Yeah. The number 10 answer, public transit would be better. Okay. The number seven answer, privacy slash tech surveillance fears.
Starting point is 01:08:30 Oh, yeah, fair. And number two. That's just new cars. Government mandates and control. Oh, I forgot they always saw that. Oh. In the words of Rick Ross, I would never own a Tesla because they would drive me straight to the police.
Starting point is 01:08:41 Actually, they did, the Waymo did that. They did do that. Rick Ross was right. Notably, Tesla's can drive themselves. Anyway. Okay. All right. I got cooked.
Starting point is 01:08:53 Can you ask a film question? No, you got the number one, though. Yeah, that's a lot. That's usually a top one. I got the number one. I'm just glad Andrew didn't get a bunch. I didn't get any. Any?
Starting point is 01:09:03 So I have a chance? Oh. Hello, chat. Hello. Chat. From R-slash out of the loop. Wait, wait. How many points I get?
Starting point is 01:09:11 David, you have 75 points. Okay. What is Marquetta said? 131 points. From that? You still have 180 points. Let's go. 180?
Starting point is 01:09:19 Oh, my. Wow, I really did cook that one. Yeah. Okay. From R-slash out of the loop. What is up with everyone afraid of 5G? It gives you COVID. That is number one.
Starting point is 01:09:31 That is number one. It's on the board. David, you just. Oh, David. David, you just passed Marquez. It gives you cancer. Cancer. Nope.
Starting point is 01:09:41 Unnecessary, not really better than 4G. That's eight. Yeah, it's number eight. More expensive. No. Really? Wow. Conspiracy theories.
Starting point is 01:09:52 There's slightly more than one. Mind control. Mind control. Yes. Yeah, number three. Government surveillance slash mass control fears. Holy. Makes your phone slower.
Starting point is 01:10:07 What? David. Oh, I should say battery light. Yeah. Yeah. Okay. If he makes your phone slower. Bill Gates.
Starting point is 01:10:14 Bill Gates. I think that... I think that's number six, right? Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Distrust of tech companies. Yeah, I will accept Bill Gates as an answer for that.
Starting point is 01:10:25 Cool. David, you've controlled the board. Tech companies are tricking you. It's a lie. That's what it just was. It just was. Oh. Oh, yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 01:10:35 Why not 6G? Oh, yeah. I feel like that making that joke and that thread is a solid. Okay. They don't know what the G means, so they're scared of it. Is that number four?
Starting point is 01:10:49 I don't think so. Microwaves are cooking your brain. Oh, that's number two answer on the board of radiation slash health concerns. Real or perceived. Yeah, health concern. David, with that, oh, no, never mind.
Starting point is 01:11:02 You're still behind Andrew, but you're really close behind Andrew. Okay. Why does everyone hate 5G, that's it? Afraid of 5G. Afraid of 5G. That's not just... We already talked about
Starting point is 01:11:13 government surveillance. Can you list what we got already? You have gotten its marketing hype slash nothing new. You've gotten distrust of big tech slash telecom companies. You've gotten government surveillance
Starting point is 01:11:27 slash mash control. You've gotten radiation and health concerns and you have gotten a COVID-conspirators. C-R-Z connection. Okay, it's still me, right? Oh, sure. Yeah, right. David.
Starting point is 01:11:42 I don't know to get it to work. Marquez. Don't know what we would do with it, because the robot surgeries are not a real thing. No, I'm sorry. Wait. He doesn't do anything they say it does. No. No.
Starting point is 01:12:04 Okay. Actually, because he's not. you specifically said they, I'm going to give you number 10, general distrust of authority. Nice. I'm sorry, you're still going. Oh, I'm still going. Oh, I'm still going, yeah.
Starting point is 01:12:21 It makes you sick. Didn't you did that already? I know, but. It's not that bad. It's fine. There's nothing wrong with it. There had to be somebody in there being like They're asking what is up with everyone who's afraid, yeah.
Starting point is 01:12:36 These companies have hurt me in the past or have hurt us in the past. I will give you number four for that. Anti-technology slash, it's too fast. Anti-technology is different from distrust of tech. Distrust of authority was what you guys. Wasn't there distrust of tech companies too? That's why Bill Gates. No, that was, where was that?
Starting point is 01:12:57 That was, sorry, that was distrust of tech companies slash telecom companies. This is anti-technology slash it's too fast. I think those are two separate things. Oh, okay. That's like Bill Gates is going to spy on me with my phone versus like my phone is going to give me disease. Yeah. The government is pushing it on us.
Starting point is 01:13:16 That's my other one. I think it's Marquez has the board. The government is pushing us. That I would describe as distrust of authority, which is God. Mind control. I said that already. There's three left. One of them is rational.
Starting point is 01:13:37 Who are not? all irrational. But we already used microwave radiation poisoning. You did use radiation poisoning, but there is a slightly related poisoning that you have not used. Air pollution. Not air pollution. Similar type of poison. I'm trying to think as dumb as I can.
Starting point is 01:13:55 Do you want me to just give you the last three? I think so. The rational one was misinformation spread by social media. Blaming social media. There are people saying, what is up with everything in the print of 5G because they believe what they see on social media. Oh, okay. The number nine answer on the board was Electromagnetic Hypersensitivity claims,
Starting point is 01:14:12 which is a separate conspiracy theory. Is that not radiation? It is not radiation. Radiation is decay of the nucleus where alpha and beta particles fly through the air and break apart yourselves. Electromagnetic hypersensitivity is a conspiracy theory that non-ionizing radiation
Starting point is 01:14:27 like. Like Wi-Fi. Exactly. Yeah, I was thinking that, okay. You're buzzing those because those are all true things? I guess you're right. I'm buzzing those because I was proud of Ellis for knowing that.
Starting point is 01:14:36 Yeah, I, no, that's a great point. And that they're true. And for the electrical engineer who's listening, you can cook them for that. Go ahead. I was, well, you can cook them with the 5G. Yeah. I was, yeah, I was conflating that with like Wi-Fi radiation and stuff. But I guess that's not radiation.
Starting point is 01:14:51 People do think it is. People do think it is. And the last one was, it's the end of the world. It's the apocalypse. What? That was the number seven days? What does that have to do with 5G? It's the religious apocalyptic interpretation.
Starting point is 01:15:02 Oh. You guys want to do one more or two more? Having fun or not having fun? Which more am I? I want. I think like. It's fun. I think it's chaotic for listeners, so maybe just one.
Starting point is 01:15:12 For the last question of Reddit feud. Yeah. This one comes from a little subreddit. I don't know if you guys have ever been there. MKBHT. R slash MKBHD. Nice. Oh, no.
Starting point is 01:15:21 I've got this one. Oh, no. Is there a single thread on MKBHD with enough comments to pull from? There were many. Okay. Really? Mm-hmm. But the one we chose.
Starting point is 01:15:30 Oh, my God. Why should Andrew be off there? No. It's five words. Does the guys hate each other? Why? MKBHD has unfollowed Elon Musk. Oh.
Starting point is 01:15:43 You really? What are the top answers? Sounds like read it to me. He didn't. That is not that answer. Andrew. Good? That is the number three answer.
Starting point is 01:16:00 Okay. Good. Something about cybertruck? What about cybertruck? That he gave it a bad review. No. David. I lied.
Starting point is 01:16:12 No, wasn't specific. No. He was a Tesla fanboy. This one? Yeah. Is that kind of given? Yeah, yeah, yeah. Hey, hey, hey, yeah.
Starting point is 01:16:26 Number five. You said no, and I said, I waited until he said no. I'm going to say number five took him long enough. Yeah. Tesla fanboy, you kind of, we out. Oh. Okay. Mark has very silent.
Starting point is 01:16:37 I've been. he's been waiting his turn. They've been buzzing in the middle of talking. I tried to wait till Adam said no and then Ellis changed. Yeah. So fun fact, this might ruin all future trivia extravaganas,
Starting point is 01:16:49 but I don't care. I'm really bad at coding, like just awful at coding. And so if multiple, if you guys hit your buzzers at the same time, it defaults to Marquez. I don't know how to write it better.
Starting point is 01:17:02 You should not have given that information. You shouldn't have given him that information. That's why. That's why when. Marcus, Ellis Rays, you were getting frustrated, I was like, I can't say anything, but I know exactly what's going on here. All right. Anyway, David, you have control the board. Yeah, true.
Starting point is 01:17:20 I don't think they like each other. Markes. Politically correct. Yeah, number one, political concerns. Okay. Is that not different from? Number two is he didn't actually. Elon blocked him.
Starting point is 01:17:40 Oh. That's too correct. Oh, that is not going to be on red. That is what happened. That was in the thread after. Before they knew that, that's what happened. Okay, never mind. He bought, it's because he bought a Rivian.
Starting point is 01:17:56 Oh. No. He sold his cyber truck. That is the number eight answer. It's because he sold his cyber truck. Got it. He hates Tesla now. They do say that.
Starting point is 01:18:12 who says that really Tesla people love saying that oh yeah Tesla people oh he doesn't say and then the non-Tesal people say you love them
Starting point is 01:18:20 yeah yeah he loves them too much he hates them too much can't win when's he gonna review full self-driving X
Starting point is 01:18:30 you're not gonna say that on on Reddit it's Twitter you're on the Twitter half mind David I wouldn't doubt if a thing in there
Starting point is 01:18:38 is so like well yeah he still hasn't reviewed the FSD version number whatever one was out at that point. Did I just argue myself out of that?
Starting point is 01:18:48 Sorry. Denied. The boy is open. Full self-driving sucks. Marquez. Why didn't he unfollow earlier? I think it took him long enough.
Starting point is 01:19:06 Oh, that's one already? Yeah. Oh, never mind. Elon's a man child. Okay. You know what? Number six answer, cringe about the Keckiest Maximus username. I'll give that to you.
Starting point is 01:19:19 Andrew, you've controlled the board. Who cares? That's what I was going to say. That is the number 10 answer. Literally, word for word, who cares? That's nice. That's good. It's really good.
Starting point is 01:19:28 I don't give it to you, but Tesla disappointment slash unfulfilled promises. I feel like that's kind of Tesla sucks. Okay. Roadster. No, no. Okay. Well, that's kind of the same thing. I was going to say, how is this news?
Starting point is 01:19:43 But that's like that's a good one. yet. Yeah. But that's the same thing. Are we missing any highly ranked ones? Yeah, can you tell what numbers are? He loves Rivian now. I think you said that.
Starting point is 01:19:53 I think you said that already. Oh, I did say that. Which would be funny if he gave you the points for this stuff. Technically, unfortunately, there are not enough points left on the board to beat Andrew. Unless we move to another question. Wait, I'm doing another question. Okay. One more.
Starting point is 01:20:10 One more. Wait, what was left? What didn't we get? Elon posts too much. and that's why Marquez unfollowed him. Marquez should be on blue sky anyway.
Starting point is 01:20:22 And one of the first ones. And Elon is bad at running businesses. Oh, okay. Elon sucks. Same thing you said.
Starting point is 01:20:32 You didn't hear him at businesses after that? Yeah, he's pretty bad at businesses except for the fact that he's the richest huge. It's like if arguably there's something to not.
Starting point is 01:20:41 I was going to say, I think if you're a trillion, you're pretty good at businesses even if you're not good at carrying him up it matters what you consider a business if businesses make money he's really damn good at it he's good at grifting
Starting point is 01:20:55 yeah but that makes money it's still business yeah what I think it's business it's unfortunate it can be unfortunately business but I don't know if you know this
Starting point is 01:21:06 but back in the day people did it good and now it's 2026 were satisfied you could art the MKBHD channel is terrible at business Because we give away, we don't take a lot of money, we can.
Starting point is 01:21:18 Would you say that Polly Market's not a business? Dude, you know what Pollymarket is? Polymarts a disgrace. I agree. But there's still a business. No, they're a cartel. They're a bunch of lunatics. I will give them so many words.
Starting point is 01:21:31 I will never grace them with being termed the business. Okay. Guys, this comes from R-slash Futurology. Oh, no. What futuristic technology do you think we might already have but is being kept from the hidden from the public. 6G. No.
Starting point is 01:21:56 Marquez. Cures to diseases. Oh, that's really good. It's really good. But it's like not. Andrew. No cancer cure. I'm going to say aliens, but like alien technology.
Starting point is 01:22:08 No. Robotics. For the military, et cetera, government. robotics. Is Futurology, a conspiracy subreddit? Because this could go everywhere. Yeah, are they like a realistic subreddit? It's one of those subredits where they just post links to those articles that are like,
Starting point is 01:22:26 this thing just happened that's going to change the world. And then you never hear about it again. That's what the subreddit is. Okay, so quantum compute, some compute stuff. I'll just say computing. Fast computer. Fast computer. Really good computer.
Starting point is 01:22:39 They're hiding fast computer. Amazing computer. They're hiding fast computer for us. Robots. has been the closest guess so far. I said, oh, closest.
Starting point is 01:22:49 Are they hiding from us? Yeah. Oh, I missed, I should have told you guys. This post is from two years ago. Oh. Humanoid robots.
Starting point is 01:23:00 No. I would have given, I kind of assume, advanced AI technology. Yes, there we go. True general AGI. Nice. How high is that?
Starting point is 01:23:09 That's pretty good. That was the third highest answer on the board worth 35 points. You have the board? Nice. self-driving car technology may not hide that from us we just don't got that
Starting point is 01:23:20 no they're testing it on us no yeah this is not just technology that food that can feed every human on earth these are redditors David well yeah I don't know
Starting point is 01:23:33 Marquez Marquez stopping aging keeping people alive oh number six answer on the board anti-age slash radical life extension.
Starting point is 01:23:47 Wow. That's a good one. Wow. Regrowing, regrowing organs. That's like retlyte. Stem cell type shit. Mind control. They ain't hiding that shit.
Starting point is 01:24:01 It's called Facebook.com. Yeah, no, you just don't know because you're being controlled. Called Facebook.com. No, sorry. Can't give it to you. Andrew. Hypnosis. What?
Starting point is 01:24:11 Give me the point. Reading everything that you do, like tracking everything that you do and where you are. No. Marquez. Human to brain interface. Yes.
Starting point is 01:24:25 Yes. Mind uploading digital consciousness. Transfer the seventh answer on the board. Computer to brain. Seven? How about? Because you are 10 points behind David. Okay.
Starting point is 01:24:35 How about? Oh, did. Food that never has past, Never has disease. I kind of said that already. Okay. No food. Man, these people are not optimistic at all.
Starting point is 01:24:47 But they're hiding. Peptides. I'll give you a hit. Wait, wait, wait, wait. Can I just, do one before you give a hint? Weapons of mass destruction. They're not hiding the nukes, brother. No, there's definitely people hiding weapons.
Starting point is 01:25:09 Guys, guys, guys, guys. There's no weapons left. Okay. There's no medicine left. Did we do a weapon? There's no weapons, period. Yeah, that's what George Bush said, too. There's no, no.
Starting point is 01:25:23 There's no food. And there's no medicine. Wow. No weapons, no food, no medicine. And so can you repeat the question? Yes. What futuristic technology do you think we might already have, but is being kept hidden from the public? Teleportation.
Starting point is 01:25:39 Teleportation is the number four answers. Yes. What are people talking? That's literally why is that Is this a conspiracy subreddit Because I was going to say teleportation I guess if that's the level we're on I feel like this whole round has been conspiracy theories
Starting point is 01:25:55 Okay nothing against Reddors I love Reddit Is it not all a conspiracy theory subreddit Is all a Reddit not a conspiracy theory forum That's a valid question Okay well okay keep going Okay, we got that Oh Warp speed drives
Starting point is 01:26:14 like super fast transportation how fast speed of light faster than speed of light no I can't give that to you I'm sorry supersonic I forget I said that
Starting point is 01:26:25 give me another I was barking up the wrong tree I forgot that teleportation was already I had something and then I got it Marquez um
Starting point is 01:26:35 no okay I got sent off the trail of something super strength I don't know oh that's Superman
Starting point is 01:26:44 Yeah? Aliens. No, you already, you already guessed it. No, he guessed alien technology. Cloning. No, but this is... We already do cloning. You're sort of...
Starting point is 01:26:56 Human from non-reproduction. No. Wow. DNA splicing. No. We already do that, too. Give me another guy. Oh, never mind.
Starting point is 01:27:08 David. More water. No, no, no. I'll give you a minute. The number one answer on the... board is so fucking stupid. The government's hiding from us? Yeah.
Starting point is 01:27:21 Melting the ice caps. Oh. No. Number 10 answer is also really dumb. Voting technology. I want everyone to remember futuristic technology. Closing the hole in the ozone. We already did that.
Starting point is 01:27:38 We already did that with a spikins. Oh. I was going to say space travel. I already said that. We got to get number one, guys. This is, we have to get number one. Number one. What are they hiding?
Starting point is 01:27:47 I'll give you a hint. Almost all of these left. One of them just... Sorry. He doesn't get the hint. Don't give him the hint until he's done with this answer. I was thinking about Joe. Give me an answer.
Starting point is 01:27:58 No, I don't want to hear your answer. Okay, it's clear. One of these is just straight up a product that does exist. And it frankly existed when this, like, came out. That's all right. Wait, whoa, whoa, whoa. Well, one of them. One of them is something that has been talked about by scientists a lot for the past 10 years,
Starting point is 01:28:19 but it is not clear that it is actually possible. And the rest you could only think of if you were 12 years old. Making black holes? No. Time travel? Time travels. Oh! I've been thinking that since the start.
Starting point is 01:28:34 Is that number one? No, that was 10. You guys are going way to realistic. That's what I'm saying. Future. Wait, no, no. So my turn. Oh, sir.
Starting point is 01:28:40 Yeah, you go. Sorry, some people are buzzing when other people are. holograms. Holograms are number eight. There we go. How do I get dumber than those? Dinosaurs. That's actually a good answer.
Starting point is 01:28:55 That's a great answer. That's a really good answer. I think along those lines. Jurassic Park. Oh. Robot Butler. No, but it's so close. Humanoid.
Starting point is 01:29:10 That's another. Same universe. The same universe. David, did you... Flying cars. Okay. Why would the government hide that from us? These answers don't make sense.
Starting point is 01:29:21 I don't know. We were trying to make sense before. Atlantis. I don't know. This is like a family feud where you essentially just reduce it to the base question. Or they're like, we asked 100 women,
Starting point is 01:29:34 name 10 things that your husband has worn this week. And it's just like name articles of clothing. Yeah. It's literally family feud. That's just what we're doing. Yeah. Reddit feud. So name a futuristic technology.
Starting point is 01:29:46 Who is the number one? Name a futuristic technology that we haven't thought of yet. That's it. Teleportation, flying cars. Time travel. Shark boy and lava girl. I can't tell if the maid thing was you were just saying. Hybrid animals.
Starting point is 01:30:02 Superheroes? What else is? Superheroes? Ridiculous. Oh, infinite energy. Renewable. Nuclear fusion. Yes.
Starting point is 01:30:11 on there. Oh. What number was it? That was the number two answer. Oh, that was number two? Yeah, infinite energy. I just, this is, this is. We need to get the number one.
Starting point is 01:30:22 This is critical because there are two answers left on the board. The number five answer and the number one answer. Number one is still there. If Andrew gets any of these, he wins for sure. You can't catch out. If David gets the number one answer and Andrew does not get the number five answer, David wins. Markaz, I'm sorry, you're just too smart to have won this game. All right.
Starting point is 01:30:46 What stupid things that we've not thought about? Future technology, the government's hiding from us. If I answer them, then... Markaz could ruin it for David. I could ruin it for him. That was your... From the first question, you said we just need to make sure David doesn't have points. Can't let David win.
Starting point is 01:31:03 Just because I won on the main season. X-ray vision. No. Oh, that's a good one. Oh. Oh, sorry. I have one. I hit the wrong button.
Starting point is 01:31:11 I hit the wrong button. Sing through walls. I was gonna, I buzzed. Sing through walls. Hold on. I buzzed so many times. Mark has buzzed. I buzzed.
Starting point is 01:31:20 And I forgot. Jesus. Sing through walls. What did you just say before? Extravision. Right. Oh, yeah, I guess that's what that would be. Oh, what was like, I'd, invisibility.
Starting point is 01:31:32 No. Another good episode, uh, season of SpongeBob. Wow. That's funny. That's good. I'm holding this now. I need, it's so hot, I'm so tired. Okay.
Starting point is 01:31:43 Futurology is the name of this? R slash Futurology. Okay. Said flying cars already? Yeah. We said flying cars. We already did renewable. Predict the future.
Starting point is 01:31:53 No. We did time travel. I went the opposite way. I can't give any more hints because I don't want, because this is the end decider. This is magic point. This is so close. Stupidest possible answer, but also the most common.
Starting point is 01:32:06 You said number one's really dumb. Working printers. Number one. That's pretty good Reddit. I think number one is really dumb because not only is it something that we arguably like it already exists. You know what I mean? Maybe not in like the weird crazy sci-fi version, but it definitely exists. But it's like, why on earth would the government hide that from us?
Starting point is 01:32:27 That doesn't make any sense. Constant surveillance? No, no, no, no. Think like you're 12. Think like you're six. Three-D like you're six. More toys. Oh, fully on.
Starting point is 01:32:38 immersive video game. No. Ready Player 1. No. No. Yeah, okay. The Metaverse. No.
Starting point is 01:32:45 You guys just guessed the same thing three times. They're hiding that for Martin Zuckerberg, so he can't. Okay. Something the government would have that I'm 12. That's D. My Mac is going to die. You're six. I need.
Starting point is 01:32:56 You can plug in right here. I'm in. I'm. I hope there's people listening to this right now, screaming this at us right now. I've thought of it for sure by now. hiding from us what are they hiding from us a universal translator
Starting point is 01:33:13 no it's not health related translation is not health no I know I know oh it's health related no it's not health related no it's not health if we end it now no stop can you give us like a sudden death I don't know I don't know how that would work what would a hint be well because we all equally have the chance I think that's kind of likely to give it away but it's just whoever buzzes
Starting point is 01:33:32 first I'll give you the hint for the number five answer that if Andrew or Marquez gets, or no, if Marquez gets the number five answer. That's still up in to me. That's just pride. Number five answer, hint. Ready. It is related to a previous question that I asked you today. Melinda Gates.
Starting point is 01:33:59 5G? No. That's a good answer. Honestly, yeah. That's how I feel. It's an Elon thing. It's a young thing. Oh. Reusable rockets.
Starting point is 01:34:11 Space data centers. No. No, we didn't think about that two years ago. They didn't think about that two years. High speed rails? No. Space Internet. No.
Starting point is 01:34:21 Tunnels. No. Come on. Tesla's. No, guys. Electric cars. Guys. Rockets.
Starting point is 01:34:29 I don't know. Neurolink. We said it. We said it. I did neural link. The one thing that's... I promise we're smarter to this. It's just like it's so hot in this room.
Starting point is 01:34:38 No, it's brain works. It's an Elon thing? It's an Elon thing? No, you did it. You didn't name Twitter. It's like the Elon thing. Going to Mars, the ability to go to Mars space travel to Mars. Interstellar travel.
Starting point is 01:34:51 Oh, Mars Colony. Mars Colony. Wait, wait, no. Wait, you buzzed him and then I buzzed. No, you didn't buzz. Rewind the tape. I know. Just rewind the tape.
Starting point is 01:35:00 Adam, click the buzz. I feel like space colony. And click the buzz. That was David's five second timer elapsing, right? Which did happen before he said it. And the green did come up. Who's the on your computer? Who's the buzz right now?
Starting point is 01:35:13 Does it show? Space Colony and Mars Colonios. No, I cleared it. I saw the Baja Blast come up. I saw a Baja blast come up. Mars colonization. I don't know how to, I don't know what to do about this. But I already said it. You said it? That's the number one answer? That's the number five
Starting point is 01:35:26 answer. But that does hand Andrew the game. I'm going to, look, I'm going to give it to David. Andrew, you're still in the lead. Okay. You each. After the buzzer. You each get three guesses for the number one answer of the board, and then we're done and Andrew
Starting point is 01:35:42 wins. Okay. Can we get another hint? I go last since I just got screwed. Sure. Is it material science related? Like hacking? Okay. This is not the E-LON.
Starting point is 01:35:55 It is a device. No. It is a personal device. Oh, wait. I don't know. And it is a personal mobility device. Marquez, you have three guesses in the next 90 seconds. Why does that start with my heart?
Starting point is 01:36:09 Personal mobility device. Okay, what's the technology that heading from us? I don't know. Fixing. Paralyzed limbs. No. Okay. Personal mobility device.
Starting point is 01:36:18 It's just a personal mode. Oh, jetpack. Jetpack is the number one answer on the board. Finally, it was jetpack. I was not thinking that even with all that. I was thinking mecks suit. Jetpack is hilarious. Reddit, you never let us down, man.
Starting point is 01:36:36 That's crazy. That was the number one answer. They're hiding jet packs from us, guys. Come on. What? Oh my God. What? Hey, David didn't win.
Starting point is 01:36:46 That's huge. That's huge. Andrew. Wow. We did it, boys. The comeback. It's true. It was a true comeback.
Starting point is 01:36:58 There was something happening. It was a comeback story. Yeah. I can concede to that. I don't know what's happening. I think Ellis's computer died. Yeah. I think they're trying to find the crown thing.
Starting point is 01:37:07 Andrew, you have 391 points, which is insane. You were only eight points ahead of David. After all of these points flying around, you barely barely squeaked it by him. I'm so sorry, David. But for the first time and some time, Andrew, you are now the owner of the Podman's Cup. I know, it didn't exist when I won that one time.
Starting point is 01:37:33 That's true. Is it that it? Yeah. Thank you. I'm sorry that got heated at the end. Our Kevin and I are like the characters in the back of Super Smash. Bros. When one of the characters wins.
Starting point is 01:37:49 Like a Wii sports character. Nice job. Guys, thank you for playing. Wow. That was exhausting. That was exhausting. It was hot. Any speech you'd like to give, Andrew?
Starting point is 01:38:00 I'm too busy focusing on balancing this on my hat. Totally acceptable. Thanks for watching. Thanks for listening.
