quite want to go with them oh i'd love that i just don't want i just don't want the party and i have like i have like blues but then I'm also like three days is definitely enough yeah do you know what I mean oh yeah like the last day I felt like I was like looking for a drink that will kind of get me through me too me too me too I was really quite struggling on that last day yeah and I was sick let's not glaze over that one you were sick I was sick maybe we just dive into those details later. We'll start from the beginning. Because this is just, we're going to debrief into deep, deep details for you. So we're just diving into these moth drinks just to, you know, get back on the wagon. I don't know if I'm going to be able to drink much of this.

It's the Moth Aperitivo Spritz. This is obviously an Aperol Spritz. I'm guessing that's what that means. Yeah, like their version of it. And I'm pretty sure we had these at the wedding as well. We did. At the pool party. There was big claw for a bath pub with ice in by the pool and it was full of these drinks not gonna lie I didn't have any of them but

I just see them there should have a little taste orangey weirdly that that's weird that's absolutely stunning but I need ice yeah yeah gorgeous but I need ice also a slice of orange that's the thing that i guess you don't get with a can no a tinny is just just a quick sort of give me festival vibes well let me just get a bit deeper into it and then like if you're ready to let you know once we've devoured it all i've had the smallest step as well so maybe it's like a bit big guys we obviously just we're in deep deep recovery it was the weekend I mean blew expectations out of the water oh 100% guys it was the I think that will be the best wedding we ever go to

not gonna lie it actually will I've had people message me at the wedding saying if you weren't at the wedding what were you doing basically yeah and I was like yeah because it was the best truly like spectacular should we talk through the itinerary so we both arrived on the same day yes we did Friday morning yep lovely we touched down in Gibraltar and that was sunny that day gorgeous weather yeah whereas the day before when lots of people arrived it was thunderstorms but we brought the weather with us. We did. I arrived at the villa. Well, Toby and I arrived at the villa. We get there.

It's like early morning. I'm like ready. Like, give me an Aperol. Like on arrival, everyone is so hungover. I was so pissed off. And I was like, we went a huge last night. I was like, perfect. Yeah.

Well, I'm really ready to get into the swing of things. Because this was like the official start to the wedding. So like the Friday night. When we arrived, we went to have this lovely dinner, which we all did. Yeah. And then obviously on Saturday it was the wedding and then Sunday it was the pool party. Yeah. So on Friday I was like, this is the start of the celebrations.

But no, they started on like Wednesday. I was like, what the fuck? Yeah, they actually, it was like a big run up. It was like a week long wedding. I was almost like, why did we not come early? But then I'm actually glad I didn't because I don't think I'd be able to hack for three days like a lot of the people that did do the first few days on the Sunday were like oof no yeah it's a lot it was a lot but it was perfect and I think what we did yeah for three days you know when you go to the doctors and

you sign those you like fill in those forms it's like how many units on average do you drink a week yeah and I always go to them I try and make a joke out of it I'm like oh god what what if I have a big weekend out and they're like just put the units like if you drink that much put the units down I'm like I don't know it's so hard because if you have like three huge weekends and the rest are like it's tricky and then the one quiet week left of the month no no I can't drink and I cannot drink again for like at least I don't know how long I really need to just detox my whole liver oh yeah I was taking peppermint oil tablets I think't know how long. I really needed to just detox my whole liver. Oh yeah. I was taking peppermint oil tablets.

I think you recommended them every day. I was like handing them out to everyone. You were handing them out and milk thistle. Really good for the tummy actually. I was having detox tea, like dandelion tea, which is a bunch of like really healthy, cleanse the liver. I had three mugs of it on the wedding day

in the morning. So I was like, just to try and prepare myself for what's to come. Let's just like undo the damage now before it happens i don't know if it helped i was actually feeling so fine like after the wedding day right let's just so so we arrived and then when we all came together the first time was trocadero for the evening before the wedding evening before the wedding and it was such good vibes it's just like stunning weather like out having drinks like by this lovely pool the pool i'm like there were so many pools at

every venue and no one fell into one i'm really impressed i'm really impressed i was like there's going to be a point because at the main wedding of venue guys there was like three separate pools there was an actual swimming pool then there was like two like shallow pools and i was like someone's going to be a twat and like jump and no one did no god they're good aren't we a bunch of humans um so then I got quite pissed on that dinner oh yeah same and I don't know what it is like almost the willpower is just not there but also it was just so ready that gasping for a drink I was really really ready and I also hadn't drank for like two weeks before that yeah I was like I must wait until the wedding yeah so I was just so ready for it so I was quite pissed before dinner and I was saying to Chrissy like I can really like I feel like you know when you're

so young and you've like you're having your first drink I was like I could I was so aware of every ounce of like alcohol going into my body and I was like oof she's drunk already it was gorgeous vibes it was so gorgeous yeah lovely big long table so much delicious food oh my god that paella at the end wow wow yummy it was insane yeah delicious so then we probably left there what was it it was like 11 p.m yeah I think I was in bed by like midnight yeah and then it was the morning of the wedding. So much wedding prep, guys. So we, all the girls, all the bridesmaids, met Sophie at Palm Rock, where you guys were staying.

And some of the guys were actually already still there in the morning, so we basically kicked them out. Yeah, so basically, Sophie and Jamie were staying at Palm Rock, some of the bridesmaids, and then some of Jamie's best friends, basically. And obviously all the partners of the bridesmaids were there but the rule was no boys

there all day so like the bridesmaids all arrived like right let's get ready the boys are still like mincing about we're like guys you need to just piss off you have to get out of here this is girl time only also they did eventually go didn't they yeah they did we were waiting wanting to go for a nice little dip in the pool

just like girls only kind of vibes and also we wanted to like sunbathe topless and stuff like get our strap marks like there was things that needed to be done no anyway they did leave about

maybe about because you guys got picked up at 9 o'clock you got to us for like what time 9.30 yeah about 9.30 we were actually supposed to pick up Willis

the fantastic hairstylist who will come on today because he deserves the story he needs the whole podcast yeah he does he really does and the taxi driver didn't pick him up and i was trying i can't speak any spanish so that went down super well

and before jamie left we got a little gift didn't we as bridesmaids you guys he took us away separately and then gave us all these like diamond necklaces that have our initials on honestly it was like a mini speech I like literally shed a tear. I was like, oh my God. Yeah. And then we also got letters from Soph as well. Like all of us, like a lovely handwritten letter. And they were really heartfelt, weren't they?

Like really, they made us all cry. Everyone cried. Yeah. It was just a really, really gorgeous. And then it was just all. Time to get ready. Let loose on the getting ready shenanigans. Because we started honestly getting ready at like like 10 a.m and the wedding wasn't till 6 p.m we were like so i've done my

makeup and i've done my hair now what and it's got five hours to go should we um move on to sweet or dry let's do it calls you their lover i don't really get that so if i go my lover you know what i can't hear the word lover without thinking of it in a farmer's accent like my lover yeah yeah summer sack so that's gonna say for me dry personally extremely dry yeah yeah all right but if it's like no i can't it's just my lover it's quite dry yeah I've never heard anyone say my lover open the car door for you sweet sweet as anything very sweet chivalry like there is also like I feel like for example if we get onto this a random example if we get onto a train or like a plane or something and if Nick my boyfriend doesn't like a woman struggling

and like put their bag up if Nick wouldn't it doesn't like if a woman's struggling and like put their bag up if nick wouldn't it doesn't help her that would be like so dry to me like i would need i like find it so attractive to like do nice chivalrous things i'm toby i'm toby's being trained up to be better at that he wasn't he wasn't that great but we're getting there with him he's just very much a friend for yourself kind of guy ah yeah yeah you know you got some tough kids then he always he's always very good he always like lets me sit you know when you're in a restaurant and there's like a booth that faces the restaurant so you can see it and there's someone facing the wall yeah he always like make sure that i'm sitting so i'm facing the restaurant so i can see everything that's really sweet which is the

more polite thing to do yeah Walking on the side of the road I'm always on the inside he's on the outside. Quite nice. It's just I have to ask him to like take my bags for me and stuff. I'm like can you take it?

I'm not strong enough. And then he does it. But like I don't it's becoming better but it's not like an immediate habit of his. Yeah. But the walking on the inside

of the road that's really sweet. Shouting at the TV during a football match. I it's all right you gotta be passionate about something i don't know what it is for me it's a bit dry it's for me it's a bit dry i don't know what it is it's when people say they support a team and they go we they talk about like the football team as if like we and i'm like you didn't play like nick nick will be like we're doing so well did you see us do that and i'm like what do you mean you you weren't on the pitch you know no one knows you're here you're screaming at the tv no one can hear you i'm like oh yeah i'm like oh thank god the ref can like thank god the players can hear you

i'm like that's really helping isn't it like come on lads we're doing so well yeah if only we did that i'm like oh acting like they should be like literally the football manager. Yeah, yeah, yeah. In fairness to you, I don't think I've ever witnessed that. And Toby's not really a big fan of football. So you've had not had to deal with it.

He kind of pretends like he's an Arsenal fan, but I think that's just because his roommate, his flatmate is like the biggest Arsenal fan ever. So he's just like in support of his mate basically. But really, I don't think he cares then guys we had to walk down the aisle obviously we had did have the rehearsal the day before yeah we did thank god i don't know how people just do it with no rehearse i mean people maybe people don't but it was quite nerve-wracking yeah and we like fully acting like it's like choreograph routine we're like and one and choreographer team was like and one

and two no it was like we went at the wrong time there was like a bit of a cock up like no one noticed though but basically there was two different like wedding planners like one with soph behind and then one sort of in front of us so me and emily as other emily which is jamie's sister were walking first and um the wedding planner that was in front of us that we could see told us to go but the wedding planner behind us that was with Sophie was telling us not to go so we were like well what the fuck do we do we should just fucking go I got told off because of that sorry you took the wrath yeah the wedding planner came up to me and went why are you going and I was like I don't know I was like, I don't know. I was like, I'm one.

Off I go. I thought you were on a roller coaster. I was like this. Oh my God. I'm going to smile and wave. Just keep going. I don't remember walking down. I don't remember like doing the walk. Do you?

No, euphoric. It's all a blur. It was honestly euphoric. Poor Soph must have really blacked out. I literally have no idea what happened. No. Before I know it, I got up there and I turned to, tried to turn around to see her and she was already

like up on the stage I was like whoa you were speedy what the fuck I didn't get to see anything no I also didn't even get to see Jamie's reaction no I was too busy finding my seat I would just like there like a lemon it was it was really just quite an intense moment for all of us but then as soon as we sat down and then obviously the weather and everything like sophie literally looked like she was like this fucking angel that'd come out from heaven like this this the spray of like sunshine was just like setting on her face and i was just like wow this is just like the most ridiculous moment i was like could this have gone like any better like how insane unbelievable

unbelievable the most beautiful bride I've ever seen he was and that dress we're missing out a huge part when Patrice came to the house and she walked down the stairs and we saw her for the first time it was literally such a that got us all oh yeah because we I well me and Emily have also seen Soph's dress before anyway the other bridesmaids hadn't so she came down in front of all of us that was very emotional her mum was crying it was just a very beautiful moment then we had to do it all over again for when patrick arrived and um obviously none of us cried the second time but then when when patrick started crying and he said something all of us went but like all of us like looked up like shit we're gonna to like try and stop ourselves because at

this point all of our makeup was done we were like no no no no no we must have cried off it was so beautiful such amazing no it was absolutely incredible and then actually getting the taxis to go there we were literally like standing up like we were kim kardashian like didn't want to get creased we were going on our way to the met girl and we were like stood up in the taxis because they do crease quite easily because they're self yeah and then we we had willis in our dress. It was Melissa, myself and Willis the hairstylist. And we thought, ooh. So he's been paid to do Sophie's and George's and their mom. Sarah's hair. Yeah. Not to do ours. And I was like, ooh, I've got a little strand coming out here. And he went, ooh, should we just touch that up?

And I went, hmm, go on. Yes, go on. I give you full on permission to do it. And then I went, go on, touch me. And I could tell he was itching to do something to my house go on yes go on i give you full on permission to do it and then i went go and touch me and i could tell he was itching to do something to my house like go on do it do it do it so we had like a mini zhuzh up in the car on the way which is great stunning we arrived looking better than when we left like when we left the house then the i mean the whole the whole wedding was just fucking bonkers, really. It was just the journey from start to finish. So like the ceremony and then this whole other section for the drinks. It was like a circle, wasn't it?

so then he like split up with the older sister then ended up eventually marrying the middle sister they're now divorced so that don't that don't last I was gonna say if they stayed together it kind of would have been okay but now the old and but the old sister and the middle sister completely obviously fell out and they're still not really okay oh my god savage what is wrong like honestly you can't mess with family you can't like you've got to agree also the fact that it fair enough if they were like we are really in love like and they had like they stayed together and they like had babies and then you'd kind of just have to get over it but the fact that they haven't they've now got divorced it's like

we're really in our jobs i'm a big fan listening all the way from south africa oh my god wow that's quite huge big family yeah lovely a few weeks ago i went out and kissed one of my guy mates it was all very chilled and we started chatting but i felt rather awkward as we both stay in the same hostel at our uni campus and he never asked to see me or anything which was odd because we literally live about 500 meters from each other we used to all chill together as a group and have so much fun together and now things are weird why do boys just get so annoying about shit like this they think with their penis they honestly also then just like don't be awkward about it yeah just fucking like let's just carry on it's not a big fucking deal it's bizarre i also think some guys have some serious like

commitment issues and they like bridge over that like really risky line and then yeah and then they act like idiots about it so last weekend i went out had a great time and drank probably a bit too much we've all been there on my way walking back on my way walking back from the bar a friend and I thought it'd be funny to stop at the other guy's friends, we were all part of the same friend group, room, and see if he was up. Once we got there, for some reason, I asked where the friend's room was

that I'd been kissing and insisted on finding him in the middle of the night. Uh-oh, never good, never good idea. Obviously, this gave off the wrong impression. Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah, you're right. uh-oh never good yeah obviously this gave off the wrong impression oh yeah i didn't end up finding him thank god but now i'm so embarrassed and feel as though i made myself look so desperate especially considering this guy was seemingly avoiding me i really don't

want anything more and wish we could go back to being friends i feel so uncomfortable and literally avoid all of my guy mates around campus do you think i should be feeling this embarrassed and how do i play off this awkward situation and ensure we all go back to being friends p.s we're still texting and i still haven't seen haven't seen him since we kissed making it just a bit more awkward would really appreciate your help lovely guys i think the fact that texting is like quite a good sign like he obviously doesn't it's almost like he's wanting to glaze over it a bit yeah and i almost can't face up to it if because meeting in part when you see each other face to face you like you can read each other's like facial expressions and

i always feel like you need to just be like it sounds like if you want it to go somewhere um as in if you don't want it to go anywhere like that but you want it to like just be pushed over and you like want your friendship to get back to the way it was you might just have to be like look I know I haven't the other night like I don't want us to be weird like love you so much and like the friendship group ultimately is like my main priority and I just prefer us all hanging out and it's like awkward for everyone so yeah we just like why don't we all just do something on Saturday night and I not talk about it again exactly we need I'd be like I kind of feel like it's needed to be addressed at this point yeah it's just a bit weird and it's annoying because I do feel like a lot of

the time a lot of men do shy away from these things and I don't know why it has to be can't be cowards I know that's such a horrible thing to say but sometimes it's just the case so I mean I think personally like I get why you're embarrassed I feel like if it happened to me not again that I should be embarrassed or we should be embarrassed but I would I would feel the same way yeah so completely valid feelings I just think that yeah the best thing to do is face these things head on even if they feel really awkward to begin with because it can only get better really exactly and um also he'll probably feel a bit like stupid for like not actually like he'll be like oh fuck we should just have the conversation

yeah exactly exactly you'll come across as the bigger person and just and you never know maybe he does think that like you really fancy him want to be with him so he's being nice but a bit awkward yeah and you're like fuck now if you haven't had wrong impression, you're like, no, no, I just want the French group to be the same again. Exactly, you tell him. Yeah. So we had the, yeah, after the ceremony, we came down and actually Sophie threw the bouquet as you do as tradition, threw it past all the bridesmaids into the audience. And was it Jamie's mum that caught it? No, no, she threw it into the pond. Jamie's mum had to fish it out of the pond.

And then Jamie's mum threw it to her own daughter. I i was like really not how it's supposed to go but okay i need to get engaged to you it's immediately to be fair i kept my hands firmly down i wasn't even gonna attempt no i wasn't either it was actually thrown kind of above me before i went into the department you could have jumped i didn't know what it was i just stood there like you just too nervous i was like no no it can't be can't look desperate also we didn't rehearse the whole like and now i'll throw the bouquet otherwise we would have been like okay well we'll get ready to catch it then no one knew no one knew what's happening she just suddenly went whoop like that i was like whoa

warning next time please yeah into the pond it went it's my trainers i didn't change my shoes the whole night did you no um we've got nerve damage we were just saying that yeah so literally i woke up the next day and i went out of bed put my foot down i went oh can't feel my foot on the floor that's weird yeah and that's just feeling around even now the last two toes they're dead it is like a bit of a problem the balls of my feet like the feeling only came back really like this morning when i got up and i could really feel i was like okay fine now it's come back but it will come back but it's a fucking odd um then what happened then we all sat down for our dinner oh my god and then

what was your so can you tell me we all had these poems oh yeah so the amazing tally from pinky studios basically helped jamie and sophie write a little personalized poem for every single of the 180 plus guests that were there how was yours did you i was like tally and pissed off with you and really pissed off with sophie and jamie you know it wasn't that bad it was like it was something like she's got a bitch face when she drinks or something else it's like what the fuck

and then Toby's which is funny but you were thinking really Toby's was so nice Toby's was like you're the most beautiful angel boy I've ever seen

or something ridiculous love you so much it was literally should I read it out let me just what Toby said Toby Watkins a real life

a real firecracker the biggest sweetheart we've ever met. With his diamond chin, unreal good looks, let's not forget. You bitch face. Mine was horrible.

I actually had the, I think I had someone else's food

What is it about our listeners and dreams? Oh my goodness. I really enjoyed that episode. Really enjoyed the dream episode. I thought I'd write in and share my dream story. This is going to spook me out because I actually had a dream that I was pregnant the other night. Uh oh. I found out I was pregnant because of a dream I had. One night I had the most vivid dream where I took a pregnancy test and it was positive.

My dream felt so real that as soon as I woke up I already knew it was my body's way of telling me i was pregnant i got straight out of bed and took a test when the two lines appeared it just felt like it was confirmation of what i already knew rather than rather than a surprise baby was planned but you know you can never predict these things okay lovely yeah it was also super early as i hadn't even missed my period so I wouldn't have even taken a test for another week. But clearly my pregnancy hormones had already kicked in and I manifested in my dream. I thought you'd find it interesting as I found it spooky but amazing. Just how innovative our bodies, intuitive our bodies can be. And sometimes it can really be our brains telling us something is up.
