So we have the wonderful Emily in her boot in all its glory. Oh, yeah. So I'm an injured soldier.
Starting point is 00:01:41 I don't know if you can see this, but this is the kind of situation. The crutches are over there. I had a bit of an injury at the weekend. I rolled my ankle. Yeah. And tried to power on, but I probably will be suing Grindhouse. Can you actually do that?
Starting point is 00:01:57 No, definitely can't. It's my fault for being so clumsy, basically. How annoying. It's really annoying. And it's just one of those things. And I woke up this morning as well and I was like oh I think I've got
Starting point is 00:02:06 a stye in my eye as well no yeah so the third thing is coming I don't know what it is yet fuck coming threes don't they
Starting point is 00:02:12 I can't see the stye that makes me feel better at all I think it's gone down a bit sometimes it turns into something sometimes it's an eyelash yeah it spins around
Starting point is 00:02:20 it hurts like I basically didn't have a crease in my eyelid this morning is that Buffy yeah oh my god yeah surely she's in the wars i actually think almost the boots kind of trendy adding to the
Starting point is 00:02:31 accessories i should not remember at school and i'd be like dying to have a cast on my ankle in a weird way this is weird because ligament damage is actually takes like ages to heal yeah in a weird way i've never broken a bone before and when they did an x-ray at hospital I was like please be a broken bone I was like quite cool yeah because ligament knowledge is worse isn't it
Starting point is 00:02:49 yeah I think it kind of is yeah so I was hoping that it might be in a broken bone just to be like have the x-ray have the cast
Starting point is 00:02:55 have the x-ray have you all sign it oh my god what legends and you'd be like yeah I'm getting let out of like lunch break early
Starting point is 00:03:03 to like get do you remember like all that shit I used to be so jealous you'd be let out of class early to early to like get do you remember like all that shit I used to be so jealous I used to be so jealous have you ever broken a bone and you got to wear like you got to wear
Starting point is 00:03:11 like sports kit and everyone else and like school clothes yeah I've never broken a bone in my life strong bones right I'm just having
Starting point is 00:03:18 some wine this is from The Co-op Vale de Itata Hayes wine of chilli would you like to try some of it why not go on pass it over juicy light Co-op. Vale de Itata. Hayes wine of Chile. Would you like to try some of it? Why not?
Starting point is 00:03:26 Go on. Pass it over. Juicy light. Bodied berry and spicy notes. Sounds very you actually. I actually haven't, because it's supposed to be in summer in the UK. This is red wine. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:03:38 Haven't had a red wine. It's going up to 27 degrees today and then next week it's going to be 30. What the frick is going on So you don't speak too soon Honestly that red wine Almost went all over me I don't love it
Starting point is 00:03:52 You know what I It starts off nicely It's more like the aftertaste I don't mind that I don't mind it I quite like a jammy wine I don't love it
Starting point is 00:04:01 It's a bit too citrusy for me If that's the right word What is the What type of red wine is it It's a It's a bit too citrusy for me, if that's the right word. What is the... What type of red wine is it? It's a Chilean wine. Chile, yeah. And it's vegan, but I think all wines are vegan, aren't they?
Starting point is 00:04:14 No, we spoke about this in the podcast before, Sophie and I, that vegan wine, right, because normal wine, if you Google it, is like filtered through fish guts and animal stuff. i know i know and that's why it's not normally vegan interesting because it's part of the process yeah yeah so okay so why isn't wine vegan this is so interesting right you ready ready ready ready Are you ready? Are you ready? Are you ready? I'm ready. Popular animal divert finding agents used in production of wine include blood and bone marrow,
Starting point is 00:04:49 casein, shit and fiber from Christmas shells, egg albumin, fish oil, gelatin, and gelatin from fish bladder membranes. No, no. Why specifically the fish bladder? So I don't know. So that's just things that are in normal wine i don't know how and why to some something to do with the process but um in vegan wine obviously it's not so i don't know if all wine is like that but yeah mental that's in forbes magazine by the way it's legit yeah legit sauce now knowing that i will only drink wine i was mocking that just
Starting point is 00:05:22 then but i feel like i will only drink wine That says vegan Most wine is vegan Oh my god I had the most phenomenal Wine last week Oh tell me You will love it Trace's wine So I didn't actually try On the podcast
Starting point is 00:05:31 With Soph last week I just like looked at it And like said it looked nice And I was going to take it And try it I tried it when I got home It was phenomenal So it had like
Starting point is 00:05:40 20% less calories in it But they removed all the sugar So there was no sugar in it, but they'd removed all the sugar. So there's no sugar in it at all. It was so smooth and like easy to drink and light and fresh. And like, it was almost like too watery almost. Like maybe some wine lovers, but I absolutely loved it.
Starting point is 00:05:58 And they do red and white and I want to try all of them. And which one did you have? Was that the white one? I had the rosé and it was phenomenal. Like the nicest rosé I've ever,'ve ever ever ever had and it's vegan it was um gluten-free and sustainably sourced the glass the bottle was really cool amazing i think it was like 12 pounds 13 pounds for a bottle gorgeous really good that was my only wine i'm ever gonna rate 10 out of 10 10 out of 10 for that 10 yeah also that's amazing i feel like that you wouldn't get so much of a hangover is it like organic then as well i don't know if it was
Starting point is 00:06:29 but you wouldn't yeah because the sugar fucks you normally like i find now i'm getting to an age where like i'll have like a boozy evening of just wine i wake up 3am and i'm like why do i the sugar wakes me up and i find it hard to go back to sleep. Yeah. That's what gives me like the morning anxiety. Yeah. Yeah. Just never leaves you for the whole two days. And then it's the two day hangover thing that I'm now getting. Oh my God.
Starting point is 00:06:52 Yeah. No, it's a lot. I was actually watching, I'm just on my Instagram, scroll, scroll, scroll. And I saw this other podcast, this American one, them reading out like a story from someone Also writing in
Starting point is 00:07:06 About the fact that They've been abroad To get like a nose job And suddenly they had Backache No no And their kidneys Had been taken
Starting point is 00:07:14 I am sick of this It's happening All of the time It makes me feel ill It's really wild It is mental And also like They're not even like
Starting point is 00:07:24 Okay it's a cheap surgery But it's not like 200 pounds they're still paying like two thousand thousands yeah and it's wild like how is this not regulated i also don't know like i feel really sorry but like i'm trying it's hard to imagine who they're going to that like this fucked up that would do this to people like you kind of think think surely you vet the place you go know someone else that's gone there exactly I'm imagining like a warehouse
Starting point is 00:07:49 at this point I know I'm like trying to imagine also like the people the surgeons that are actually performing this like how the fuck they sleep at night
Starting point is 00:07:55 well speaking of which I'm having surgery on Monday Emily's having surgery on Monday I'm not paying sadly I am paying a bit more than a she's not going to Turkey no no not going to Turkey no no
Starting point is 00:08:05 not going to Turkey staying in the UK but she's having her baps done woo woo I love all the baps she's got her baps
Starting point is 00:08:12 oh that'd be good my melons my melons why so talk us through the reason behind do you know what guys why
Starting point is 00:08:20 how long have we been thinking about it so ever since I was like obviously when you hit puberty supposedly I'm like did I hit puberty i still like the only way i know i've hit puberty is the fact that i had periods that's the only way how old were you when you had your period i think i was about 15 i was 13 i was so young oh my god that is young a lot of my other
Starting point is 00:08:38 friends had had similar yeah so it wasn't like i was doing i wasn't the first so i wasn't like freaked by it so it's fine but. But yeah. But did you have, did your boobs start growing when you were? They started slightly before the period. Really? Did yours? Mine did not grow. So the nipple popped out.
Starting point is 00:08:54 That's all I remember. And it happened to one before the other. And I was like, my nipples popped. And I'll never forget. I was so excited. I was in my front march. And we saw it and we were like,
Starting point is 00:09:02 oh my God, the nipples popped. The nipple has popped. Like, oh my God. nipple's popped the nipple has popped like oh my god Ellie no it was very exciting
Starting point is 00:09:10 for my life but then the other one didn't pop for like a year or something and then I don't really think anything much happened so were they inverted before? not inverted
Starting point is 00:09:17 but like flat flat flat like how a boy's chest is right like there's nothing like it's flat to your skin yeah and my mum had enormous enormous enormous enormous boobs
Starting point is 00:09:26 by the age of 15 like we're talking double d's huge obviously that never happened to me sometimes well this is the thing and my mum kept on saying to me so when i when i say i remember my mum wouldn't buy me a brush that you don't need a bra and i was like it makes them look bigger mom yes god how did you not get it and then my friend had a training bra because this is the stage where everyone's getting these training bras and like from m&s or whatever oh my god i remember those days and bless her she gave me one because my mom wouldn't buy me one and i honestly couldn't even feel it but i just felt good wearing a bra like having a bra up showing you know underneath my shirt was like i was like yeah i've got a training bra on i'm a woman now
Starting point is 00:10:01 my mom was like and i had to put it through the wash i remember being mortified my mom's like why have you got this and i was just like oh my god no stop cool but my mom's like oh trust me like your boobs gonna grow your boobs gonna grow got to like you know going to university that i mean ever so slightly obviously they'd grown and like the nipples weren't inverted like they were when i was younger great um honestly i think it's like a curse from like my parents or something and um my mom was like my parents or something And My mum was like Honestly when I was 21 Mine Just like your mum
Starting point is 00:10:28 My mums are Really really big Big Anyway Surely that shit's genetic Like what happened to us Yeah 21 I wake up
Starting point is 00:10:35 You know 21st birthday I'm thinking This is it This is it Look down Any day now Any moment
Starting point is 00:10:42 I'm like Do I feel something No nothing I'm just gonna buy my double d bras right now just in preparation for the next six months so they're just gonna go to these huge tits and honestly i'd say that like for sure i don't care so much now because i'm you know i've had two i'm in my second like long-term relationship and like you get more confident but i've never ever felt womanly in my entire life like ever i've never felt sexy i've never felt womanly and like I remember actually getting upset when I said this out loud to my boyfriend the other day
Starting point is 00:11:08 because I was like oh god it's quite sad isn't it to have not felt womanly and I've kind of I kind of power through a lot of things in life but actually if I really think about it um you know why my mom's like wait until you've had children but I kind of like people do say that but then so many people have boob jobs and then have kids exactly and it's like you know even if you couldn't breastfeed or whatever like most people still can but like bottle feeding like you know formulas are so good these days and i just think that so i basically went for a consultation with a surgeon um in um like the malabon area in london and actually when i went to have the consultation he was like um you actually have an ever so slight deformity in your boobs and i was like excuse me i remember
Starting point is 00:11:50 you voicing yeah because i'm basically more so i like having small boobs for me it's more so the shape i feel like my boobs are quite like instead of being like round they feel quite like almost as if you're they're still developing like quite, like I just don't like them. And he said that apparently, and guys, if you look this up now, then this is gonna be the extreme version, okay? This is not my boobs, but this is some people's boobs to be fair.
Starting point is 00:12:14 Yeah. And he was like, you've got slight tubular. And basically what that means is if you get to the bottom of your nipple to like the fold, the crease in your boob, and you measure that, technically it should be about three and a half inches to have like the perfect boob crease in your boob. And you measure that. Technically, it should be about three and a half inches to have like the perfect boob.
Starting point is 00:12:27 Mine's an inch. So you can imagine that. Right, so the nipple's close to the bottom of the boob rather than like in the middle of the boob. Exactly. And he said to me, another question I had was, will I be able to breastfeed after surgery?
Starting point is 00:12:39 And he's like, most people can. It's only if it disrupts the nerve, if you get like huge ones, which I'm not going to do anyway. And he said, but you won't be able to breastfeed anyway and i was like okay you wouldn't be able to because because of this people with this kind of type of boob apparently the ducts your milk ducts can be quite can be closed so he said by having the surgery because he's technically a plastic surgeon he was like it won't be cosmetic it would be plastic and it um he would open up those ducts so he can make you breastfeed he was like there's more of a chance of being out of breastfeed by having the surgery so i was like honestly oh my god put me
Starting point is 00:13:13 under the knife and get me oh my god imagine if you never went for the consultation like found all this stuff out and you had the baby and it was almost like i know so i went thinking like you know i've never like i'm not like adamant i want my my breasts done but afterwards i came out and i was like i've never sold to me now yeah sold can't wait to be more proportionate to my body um feel more confident wear tops with like no back exactly go on mediterranean holidays and take my top off like feel comfortable comfortable and actually like sexy in front of my boyfriend will be like really epic. And also sexy to like yourself. Yeah, exactly.
Starting point is 00:13:47 The weird thing about like us wanting bigger boobs, right? Is this weird psychological thing that men look at women and think subconsciously they'll be a better mother to my children because they can breastfeed and they've got big boobs and it's womanly and it's actually a thing about being a good parent. Yeah. Which is so weird. And it's the same with us girls going for more manly men they've got wider jaws etc etc like they'll be able to protect us yeah it's like all good it all throws back to us like basically like living in the old days and like our instinct so then in this day and age it's obviously been it's still in us to want big boobs as women and for men to want women with big boobs
Starting point is 00:14:25 yeah because it's in our dna technically to be healthier it's it looks healthier yeah and it's like it's like child uh bearing hips it's a thing for guys too which is why the hourglass is like yes you know it's been like obviously like sexualized or whatever but it actually is like that technically a more healthy mothering thing mental wild but hopefully i mean well i know that this surgeon is um not going to steal my kidneys which is a good thing it's a big plus i will be going into this with an injured foot oh my god she's got double whammy i'm gonna need a wheelchair and your boyfriend's gonna take care of you yeah and my mom and the recovery is not like horrendous i mean the foot will probably be fine by next week yeah hopefully i'm getting um i'm getting over the muscles you can get over
Starting point is 00:15:09 the muscle or under the muscle when you get a boob job and i'm getting over the muscle which i think is a little bit less recovery way less um so is that because the duct thing that is apparently because of the amount of tissue that i had in my boob already um apparently based on how much tissue you already have in your boobs they choose whether to go over the muscle or under the muscle and also like because i'm quite broad already apparently that was also something they took into account very personal isn't it like good that they don't just say yeah under the muscle because apparently under the muscle is i don't know if it is more expensive or if it isn't probably it seems like it's a everyone says it's a huge deal compared to the other one.
Starting point is 00:15:46 Yeah. So that's good that they just be honest with you about stuff like that. It's like people with nose jobs, right? Like people get it where they cut that part there and they fully go in and do a full thing. Or apparently they just go through, they don't even cut and they just shave down the bum. Interesting.
Starting point is 00:16:02 So it all makes a difference. I think there's a huge price difference right so it's like whoever you go to like if they're going to be super honest with you about what you need and want yeah yada yada yada well um not to be crude but i feel like it's quite interesting to know how much they based on people going to turkey that's like two thousand pounds for this in london i know of some people that have had it done really well and it's been about five thousand like seven hundred mine is costing 6,900, which is like,
Starting point is 00:16:26 I feel a little bit ill, but that's kind of a normal price. I think that's probably quite a normal price. I know people have paid like over 10,000. Wow. But they were like, it's the best surgeon in the whole of London. I'm like, well, okay, well. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:16:38 I also feel like because of this milk duct thing, this is actually like- It's quite big. It's another part of it. So if you didn't want the boob surgery as in for like larger like yeah would they still be able to do the surgery on you for the milk i think so because you know i told someone this the other day and they were like oh my friend is getting a boob job um but not having silicones put in yeah purely to get that
Starting point is 00:17:00 sorted so again i honestly never knew that was a thing and it's like all these things in life like it's you know these expenses add up and it's like it's all very easy to be like oh girls go get checked go get your boobs checked because there might be like a few thousand pound surgery you can get to sort the ducks out but like it's just one of those things yeah um and but we can't all be doing that so um but what i would say is like never ever get a boob job because you feel pressure from someone else it should always come from within you like i'm literally i couldn't care less like and i love nick my boyfriend dearly but i couldn't care less what he thinks in a way like he obviously loves your boobs where they are you've been here for
Starting point is 00:17:38 like many years and he obviously thinks you're sexy as hell and now he knows i'm having it he's a little bit excited he Is he on board? He's on board. He's on board. He's like, is it okay to say that I'm actually a bit excited? And I'm like, oh,
Starting point is 00:17:50 bless him. He's also probably excited for you as well. Do you know what I mean? Like, you're going to wear a dress and just feel like, and be like, I look 10 out of 10. And like,
Starting point is 00:17:58 that feeling is like really, really great feeling so confident. Exactly. Yeah. So, I mean, next time, if I'm invited back to the podcast. We'll have a preview of emily's tits tune in make sure you take a before and after yeah no i'm going
Starting point is 00:18:12 to i'm going to oh my god honestly it'll be illegal the amount of people that i send around like on whatsapp i'm gonna be using those like encrypted messages or whatever disappearing what the disappearing the one time yeah yeah definitely do that oh my god how excited yeah i'm really excited i'm so excited for you thank you and thank you so much for sharing that because i feel like there's probably so many girls i mean if you guys have like dilemmas or questions or anything like that maybe it's something that we could then get emily on afters and you could ask her questions about it i can answer everything anything like that but yeah thank you so much for sharing that. Sweet or dry,
Starting point is 00:18:47 are you ready? I'm ready. Deep diving in, deep diving in. Ask if they can kiss you whilst on a date. Depends how. Depends how it's done. I was about to just check in on that.
Starting point is 00:18:58 Also, it depends when. Like, imagine if they bolted through the doors. Hello, please mind kissing me. Like, obviously it's no. Yeah. That's obviously not sweet. But if it's at the end and it's like you've been going really well it's like there's a way of asking in a fit way can i give you a kiss yeah yeah yeah because then it's actually
Starting point is 00:19:14 quite nice quite like i'm asking for your consent like i'm not just going to move in yeah but in the 21st century and then it's also i think correct me if i'm wrong it's also like trying to make you feel a little bit nervous on the spot because Because it's like, then you have to answer and be like, yeah, okay, okay. Yes, you may. I give you permission. Like, do you know what I mean? Like, it's quite funny.
Starting point is 00:19:32 Makes you a bit nervous on the spot. I love it. I love it. I don't think anyone's ever asked me that, though. Oh. Has anyone ever asked you that? I'm trying to think. Oh.
Starting point is 00:19:40 I know. I'm like, oh, I just went past. No, I actually don't think. No, it's never. No, I've never lost. No, I think I've seen it in the films and movies I actually don't no it's not I've never lost no I think I've seen it in the films in movies
Starting point is 00:19:47 I've seen it in movies I've seen it in TV shows I think I saw it on Love Island this season yeah also I think I've seen it in like Love Actually when they're like
Starting point is 00:19:53 would you mind awfully if I like they said it like that way and that's made me stop Hugh Grant yeah yeah yeah I know exactly what you mean
Starting point is 00:20:00 oh my god what I saw the most phenomenal film called Made in Manhattan it's so old the one with Jennifer Lopez and Muti have you watched it oh my god what I saw the most phenomenal film called Made in Manhattan it's so old the one with Jennifer Lopez
Starting point is 00:20:08 and Muti have you watched it I've never seen it it's gorgeous Made in Manhattan you must watch it it's like an absolute classic and what's that guy
Starting point is 00:20:16 um Ralph Fiennes Ralph Fiennes but when he's young and sexy and it's just a lovely lovely lovely film Made in Manhattan
Starting point is 00:20:22 I'll watch that gorgeous film okay lovely gorgeous film and JLo is like so fair. Sorry, we're just off topic then. Okay, right. Sleeping with socks on until you're dry. I don't think it's a bit dry. I would just take your socks off.
Starting point is 00:20:35 Yeah. Do you know what though? I actually have a confession. Film now, I've answered that. That's all good. I'm guilty of, I have done that before. Do you want to know why this is gonna open a whole can of worms basically when i was younger and everyone no one needs to know this okay absolutely no one needs to know this um when i was younger someone dropped a table on my toe um and it was never the same so i used to i'm like no one would notice i look at everyone's feet by the way because no one looks at your feet realistically because i've got an obsession with it i look
Starting point is 00:21:08 at everybody's feet so everybody put your shoes on i'm sat here barefoot as well on the sofa i'm just gonna cover them up with this pillow so oh my god yeah it's just never quite been the same so i wore like fake i've worn fake toenails before i've allowed it to like it doesn't which one not the big tick Yeah the big one Brick But I've seen your toes before They're fine Yeah yeah yeah Well
Starting point is 00:21:28 So did you have to have A fake toe on it? Nail? Well I did And then I injured it again Because I was going up The tube steps The passing screen
Starting point is 00:21:34 My fake one got caught Because it was so Yeah Because it was so Like fixed on It pulled my real nail Out of the nail bed Oh Emily
Starting point is 00:21:44 I had to go to A and e and um they tried putting it back in i was on gas in there and they like put like a big needle to numb my my toe which i was like oh my god and then they tried putting it back in couldn't so i had to wait for the whole thing to fall off so anyway back in the day, I wore a sock basically. And like, I'm sure guys were like, why is she wearing like socks? And like, honestly, they would literally be like, obviously because they're like unjust or whatever, would try and take the socks off.
Starting point is 00:22:14 I'd be like, oh, no, no, no. Just leave those on. You know what? As you grow up, you realize it's actually not a huge, a huge deal. What I used to think, I always think, when it doesn't seem like there's any possibility, I'm like, what kardashian do because surely she would have a toenail surgeon or something i was like is there surgery out there there must be and there is there definitely is cosmetic surgery you can have to have a toenail put on haven't had it myself but will it stay there forever so at first
Starting point is 00:22:38 mine actually didn't really grow back much and my doctor went to my doctor and he was like looks like you've got like a fungal infection or something yeah i didn't i take it took all the pills whatever it basically um i went to a podiatrist the other day and they said you've got three layers in your nail yeah because it's keratin just like your hair it's the same material and if you have something that drop on it or something like that you damage it so you only have one layer left so that layer comes out and it's not stuck to your nail bed anymore it's just above it so it feels kind of like plastic it feels a bit like you could assume it was like a fungal infection but it's not um so i would just say like i mean some of this like no one's super clean super clean it's not going to stick to your nail like stuff exactly
Starting point is 00:23:21 and also does a good one of those guys oh my goodness yeah good antibacterial spray for your feet if you've got that problem and also just go and get like a pedicure like i if you're careful you can get a um fake nail put on but just try not to obviously trip up on it because that's like maybe don't get it too long get it short get it short exactly shorter or if you can you get a nail like that grows back a little bit just go get a pedicure have it like filed down have a bit of color put onto it like just a nude nail so it's not like attracting tension down there and um i just think rocket like no one looks at your feet maybe a plaster and be like yeah my toenail's broken and it's growing back and i don't want to look at it so i'm just wearing a plaster on it then you can
Starting point is 00:23:57 take the socks off and it's just like you've just got a little plaster on your toe keep it super clean though and then i just do that until it grows back and i used to be so self-conscious and then i realized that no one noticed and i would I used to be so self-conscious and then I realized that no one noticed. And then I would tell people and they'd be like, what? And I'd be like,
Starting point is 00:24:08 I noticed this so much. I've never noticed that you've, well, you've got a toenail now, haven't you? So. Yeah, something bad happened
Starting point is 00:24:14 the other day, but we won't go into that. That's really bad luck that it's happened twice on the same toenail. Oh my God. We'll be wearing sandals for a few months,
Starting point is 00:24:24 let's put it that way anyway right next year right calling you this one eg hot lovely holiday with this one no no no that's a huge try for me for me no no no that's like me thinks that's like me think that's the same person it's the worst thing i've ever heard With this one Like this one came along No Do not Fucking call me What would you do If Toby turned around and went It's like when they're talking
Starting point is 00:24:50 About you when you're there As well Oh this one over here No It's just a one No No No
Starting point is 00:24:56 It's so icky And like unpersonal And what is that Like writing English It is like me thinks It's like me thinks 100% Yeah
Starting point is 00:25:04 Really sorry Not hating on anyone Who does say that But I am Is that how you pronounce it in English? It is like me thinks. It's like me thinks, 100%. Yeah. Really sorry, not hating on anyone who does say that, but I am. It's not a vibe for me. No one say that in my facility. Dry, dry, dry. Hey, Dynamo One.
Starting point is 00:25:54 Hi, guys. Love the pod. I am recently single and also have recently moved job. Everything is chaotic at the moment. I love a lot of change in one go. Yeah. I also feel like
Starting point is 00:26:02 if you've gone through a breakup, sometimes you need a new change of scenes. This is perfect there's a guy at my new job here we go he was very very persistent and despite me telling him multiple times i'm not interested in anything serious he keeps pursuing me and every time we go for work drinks which is every week lol he ends up taking me home to make sure i get home safe oh my god that's so sweet so sweet do you know what it's tricky because if um if that person is like, if you fancy them really lovely and lucky you, but if you don't, I can imagine you can be a bit like,
Starting point is 00:26:30 it's just so annoying. Oh, here we go. We've kissed a few times, but it's not to the point where he's definitely more invested. It's got to the point where he's definitely more invested in me and is using me as an emotional support. Oh God. I don't know how else to deal with this situation
Starting point is 00:26:43 as he obviously isn't listening to anything i say if i didn't work with him i would just cut it off and block his number but i have to see him basically every day help please oh my god how do you go i've never gone to an office job before i've never really oh well it's very intimate very very intimate normally yeah exactly and it's if you're like i feel like I've never had this But like if you were Fancying someone I can imagine it could be Quite like a
Starting point is 00:27:06 Quite sexy thing Yeah Like it being like In an office environment Having to hide it whenever So fun so naughty But if they're coming over to us You have to remain professional
Starting point is 00:27:14 But at the same time You'd probably feel Quite claustrophobic So I can understand That's not a vibe I would say you've got to Be honest with him I honestly think that
Starting point is 00:27:21 You've got to like Probably accept him In one of his offers To go for a drink And be like yeah I think we're due a chance And then just break it down and then just be like look i've actually just blind so you're seeing someone else that you really like yeah and also i think it's fine to like he'll probably die when you say this but to say that it was making you feel like a little bit uncomfortable i think that that is fine to say and also because you've kissed before he doesn't
Starting point is 00:27:40 maybe know where he stands and yeah it sounds like we need to be a little bit more firm exactly exactly because you're thinking all these things right now but actually he might not have no idea and he just thinks oh she probably wants another one yeah yeah yeah oh my god poor guy and as you said if you fancied him it would just be the most exciting wonderful thing yeah it's just not a vibe when you don't fancy them but you know if you're not feeling it you're not feeling it just be honest right you want to read Dylannity looks fucking good oh my goodness this looks like the best I've ever had why do we ruin it for ourselves i know i just scrolled the bottom okay dilemma two and buckle up is a bit of a long one a bit of background i have been single for the last five months after a seven year relationship that is long i did the typical clear out of all
Starting point is 00:28:23 my pictures on instagram and it sparked a very old friend to message me. Oh. Friend is in inverted commas, by the way. We used to have a thing 10 years ago when we were 17, 18 until he went off to uni and things ended. So let's call him Dan. Okay. Dan sends me a message checking in and asking how I am, etc.
Starting point is 00:28:41 Joked about my pictures disappearing and asking, is it finally the moment he's been waiting for for the last seven years? Yes, Dan. Yes, Dan. Go on, Dan. He asked me out for a date.
Starting point is 00:28:52 I go thinking, what have I got to lose? Go on, honey. We had a gorgeous evening. Everything went far too well and I was worried for myself. Why? No, no, no. We saw each other a couple more times,
Starting point is 00:29:03 but he's got a demanding job and has to be flying here, there and everywhere so I know his schedule isn't simple. He gets six weeks off in off-season and said we would have
Starting point is 00:29:13 the best six weeks of our lives until he had to get back into work. He'd booked a week away to his parents' apartment in Spain and asked if I wanted
Starting point is 00:29:20 to go for a long weekend before his mum flew out to meet him. I turned it down a couple of times, but he was very persistent, so I went. We acted very couple-y. Monday came, I left before his mum flew out,
Starting point is 00:29:33 or so I thought. Monday morning, something was off. My gut was telling me. He was being weird. The whole vibe felt odd. I get in a taxi to the airport, call my best friend and tell her something's not right here. I think he's got another girl flying out. She told me to stop being so stupid.
Starting point is 00:29:53 Oh my fucking God. Right, over to you, honey. Fast forward a few days. On the way out there, me and Dan had made friends on the plane, who I followed on Instagram and we had met up for an evening in Spain lo and behold
Starting point is 00:30:08 they posted a photo of Dan and another girl Dan how stupid can you be also like you gotta always
Starting point is 00:30:16 remember the trail you know I messaged the plane friend and joked who's Dan's new girlfriend laughing and crying and she responded
Starting point is 00:30:24 to say someone, it was someone one of the other girls was seeing, kind of implying that there was another girl there and she had brought another friend along,
Starting point is 00:30:31 I'm guessing. Got it, got it. I thought maybe I am just being a nutter until I saw Dan was following said girl. Shit.
Starting point is 00:30:40 I messaged Dan, no reply. I knew I wouldn't hear back until he was home on Friday. He admitted it. He had been seeing this girl before he had taken me on a date. I wanted to take her away to see his parents' apartment. But as he'd such a good date with me, he wanted to take me instead.
Starting point is 00:30:56 Question. Okay, I'm kind of getting this, but we need some honesty here, Dan. We can't be taking two girls on holiday at the same time. But I get that there's overlaps and things happen when dating's going on he apologized profusely and I haven't heard from him since I haven't told the girl he was seeing even though part of me thinks it's the right thing to do what would you do he still follows me on everything I just feel sad that after knowing someone all that time they can treat you like that and then not give you the time of day so that's weird he's not a ghost to tell yeah i can't get my head around he asked for photo oh you asked for photos here
Starting point is 00:31:29 we are on a weekend oh my god you guys look beautiful look the sweetest shit this is the photo which i caught him out his mom stop stop stop you are absolutely stunning i'm not gonna call the other one but you are absolutely gorgeous yeah you really are and you both look really really happy yeah what the hell and he goes she goes what should i do block him tell him he's a knob tell her do anything help right i i don't know whether you should tell her i don't think you should tell her it's not like they're in a relationship i find it weird that dan's just kind of ghosting i thought dan would fight for you and be like look i'm really fucked up like i was seeing this girl it was already going in a certain
Starting point is 00:32:04 direction but then obviously when I found out you were single and we had our date, like I was feeling very strongly towards it and I couldn't deny it. And I fucked up by not telling you and sorting my logistics out
Starting point is 00:32:13 sooner with the other girl. Exactly. Because it's also like, although it's not the best thing to do, it's not the biggest deal and you can't deny love. And if he's suddenly falling for this girl.
Starting point is 00:32:20 His excuse was that he was already dating this other girl and she was already coming out to Spain. Then he obviously then went on a date. But like, don't cross over the paths. He should have been like, look, I'm dating this girl. His excuse was that he was already dating this other girl and she was already coming out to Spain. Then he obviously then went on a date. But like,
Starting point is 00:32:26 don't cross over the paths. He should have been like, look, I'm dating this girl. It's a bit complicated. She's coming on holiday with me. Like, I do want to carry on dating you, but like,
Starting point is 00:32:34 I don't really know. He should have then sacked off the other girl coming out on holiday. He's having his cake and eating it. Exactly. It's pig-like behavior
Starting point is 00:32:40 and I don't like it and I think you deserve better, but I don't think you should bother taking this other girl because I don't think it's his girlfriend. A real gentleman would have cancelled the other girl and said, don't like it and i think you deserve better but i don't think you should bother taking the other girl because i don't think it's his girlfriend a real gentleman would have cancelled the other girl and said don't worry you know i'll pay for your flight and whatever but i'm really sorry like i'm actually oh my god you guys look so happy like you look like a fully
Starting point is 00:32:54 fledged couple in this photo such stunning girl and also he's probably laughing now because he's like okay well i don't have her but i also do have another girl still but also not laughing because like it sounds like the love of his life's got away I also think it depends on how you feel so obviously none of this is right I'm not excusing it but I think in the early stages of dating sometimes people get themselves in a pickle right they don't really know what they want they're trying to keep their options open yada yada yada if you feel like you really strongly feel towards him something I would maybe it's maybe really bad advice but I would maybe reach out and be like look i'd love to meet you and then i would just sit down with him be like look i actually feel
Starting point is 00:33:28 a certain type of way towards you and i do want to like see where this goes but obviously i can't have you seeing another girl at the same time yeah you fucked up i need some growth i need you to graft a bit and like apologize if you don't feel like you want to do that then i just want to give him the time of day and i just block him be like see you later but if you do think you really like him there's something there then like i feel like sometimes like we said before like guys don't necessarily the other person doesn't always know how you're feeling so he might think oh i've screwed up there's no even there's no point in me even trying to be cowards sometimes they need a little bit of a reassurance and obviously he's got some insecurities there hence why he's seeing two
Starting point is 00:34:01 girls at the same time like it all stems from like unfortunately the way they feel about themselves i feel like yeah and also wait did we say that she's been in the seven years no not him so yeah you've heard your fresh out of relationship he's he's been like waiting on the sidelines for that he's been desperate for it i would if it depends on how you feel if you really like him i'd meet up gauge it give him like a chance and as you say he might be being a coward if you don't you don't care for it just give him like a chance. And as you say, he might be being a coward. If you don't, you don't care for it. Just sack him off. Don't bother telling the other girl anything. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:34:29 And also you're about to go into a really, really fun, exciting time of your life after seven years being in a relationship. Sorry. Just sing you a song. So it's so fun. Also six months is such a sweet spot. So she's six months out the breakup. Like you're going to be having the time of your life.
Starting point is 00:34:43 It's going to be snapped up. Oh, that's gorgeous. That is. Oh my God. So she's six months Out of the breakup Like you're going to be Having the time of your life Snapped up Oh that's gorgeous that is Oh my god We've had a stunning Stunning Stunning Tiny whiny message
Starting point is 00:34:52 With photos Guys I don't know If you remember this Tiny tiny tiny whiny So There was a girl That wrote in a dilemma Who got pregnant
Starting point is 00:34:59 From a one night stand And she wrote in After the dilemma Basically saying She was pregnant Should she tell the guy or not Soph and I were like Yes you should probably she was pregnant should she tell the guy or not soph and i were like yes you should probably tell the guy yeah so she told the guy he said he didn't want to be involved in any way um if she decided to keep the baby they live quite far away from
Starting point is 00:35:15 each other she went to see him to discuss it all properly in the early stages of the pregnancy and he legally signed basically all parental rights over to her okay hi girls i'm assuming this will be the last update of my previous dilemma but i just wanted to to again say thank you for your advice and kind words you were a massive help oh my god this is gonna make me cry i think so that being said i thought i'd come on here and again and tell you girls that after a very long home birth my best friend right by my side my daughter matilda was born on august 1st at 4 0 6 a.m at a massive nine pounds and 14 ounces ouch i i become more and more obsessed with her every day she's the
Starting point is 00:35:54 best decision i've ever made a perfect little ball of sunshine i've already introduced her to the podcast and i would say she is definitely a tiny whiny, tiny, tiny whiny. Now, as she's happily and quietly sits through all full podcast episodes as I catch up with them and miss during the last months of pregnancy. However, something odd did happen about a month or two before Matty was born. One of her biological dad's friends followed me on Insta. I'm not one to post a lot on there anyway but i did have a picture of or two that featured my bump i panicked seeing that he followed me and deleted the pictures and decided not to post any photos of her online as i thought it was a bit odd
Starting point is 00:36:36 considering her dad expressed how he didn't want any information about her at all didn't want her didn't want contact ever again signed over all all parental rights. Oh, my God. I'm probably overthinking it. He was probably just curious, but it put me on edge a bit, and I found it all a bit strange. I think he would have just been curious. Yeah, I think so. Anyway, thanks again, girls. Can't wait to listen to the podcast during many sleepless nights that await me.
Starting point is 00:36:58 Sending all our love to you, Matilda and Mama. P.S. I've inserted some pictures because, like anyone, I love showing her off. Oh, my God. She is so beautiful. my god gorgeous little face what a lovely little like outfit she's in as well all those two flowery outfits oh my god that is like the most wholesome gorgeous amazing listening message i think we've ever ever heard gorgeous that is incredible oh my god i'm lovely so sweet if i was you also i would remove the friend that's following you as a follower yeah i would make your instagram private and then post all you want yeah exactly you shouldn't have to
Starting point is 00:37:36 stop for anyone really and also i mean you you sign the paperwork yeah it's all signed so delivered but i know what you mean it would probably put me on me on edge too because you're like okay well i don't interrupt my good flow that i've got going on here i've just this is the path we're going down this is the decision we've made exactly i'd remove them as a follower which you can do so you no longer follow so you make your instagram private and then post what you want keep those pump photos in put some photos of the little beautiful baby matilda in there that is gorgeous do you think you um if and when, like as and when you have a child in the future, do you think you would
Starting point is 00:38:06 post them on social media? Probably. From like as soon as they're born? I think so. Yeah. Some people block their faces, don't they?
Starting point is 00:38:12 Some people do block their faces, but I don't think I'm like famous enough to worry about them like being like, like people like identity theft or whatever. I don't know. People do it,
Starting point is 00:38:21 like I know there's like bloggers that have done it specifically, but I'm like, well. It's quite nice to share, isn't it, I think. Yeah. Also think yeah also it's a baby yeah so many of them in the world it's just another place everyone's on social media these days but i guess it's also like people are looking at it from the perspective of i want to give my baby the right to make its own decision when it's old enough which i get because there are some people that make so much cash off their like
Starting point is 00:38:41 babies i don't pay attention with them and shit which i think is like fair enough like probably the same way so will i be making my baby an instagram account before it's walking down that handle imagine i've already got like five instagrams like just all my future kids names me when me and tony just did this podcast i have like a list of baby names on my phone do you oh my god deep it's not very long can we go through them wait no because then people will take them and we were just having this thing. It's not allowed for any of our friends to take the baby names. No, but maybe you should then say them so they can't.
Starting point is 00:39:11 It's really difficult, isn't it? I'm also like, I'm just going to have to get that first. I'm just going to have to have the babies first. I'm going to rate this wine, just going back to the wine. I'm going to rate it four and a half. That is brutal i know i don't think it was disgusting but i just didn't love it and i'm being really harsh with my rating and i've also given a 10 this episode of the previous one so i've got to give some contrast
Starting point is 00:39:34 well i would love to be similar to i actually would give it a seven really yeah because that's my kind of red wine that just shows how much yeah i think it's really nice one and it's vegan guys no fish guts here that That is also quite important. I think the vegan wine thing needs to be a thing that we all do. Yeah. Gorgeous. Love you guys. Thank you so much for listening.
