We're so excited. They give us actually all the tea we get the Sammy tea we get the screenshot receipts
We go into that Lucas really vulnerable with us with us. Really vulnerable, so sweet.
Anyway, it's the best episode ever.
We hope you guys enjoy.
Love you!
Love you guys, enjoy.
["Dreams of a New World"]
Guys, we're so excited to have you here!
Hey!
Congrats!
Oh, thank you.
We just disclaimer, obviously we love Casey and Gabby,
but we were like, from the beginning, we were like, we have to have Grace and Luca. Yeah. Aw, obviously we love Casey and Gabby, but we were like from the beginning,
we were like, we have to have Grace and Luca.
Yeah.
Aw, thank you.
Aw, thanks guys.
How are you feeling?
We're good.
Yeah.
Yeah.
So good.
Really good.
It's just mad to be back and Grace hasn't even been home yet.
Oh my gosh, really?
Have you not?
I've not even been home yet.
Literally just we've been in hotels, haven't we?
So haven't even unpacked.
Just straight back to it.
Just doing press and like all these things.
Yeah, because I think it's just such a whirlwind isn't it when you come out, but just you know,
taking it as it is. Yeah.
It's good to be back though, it's nice. Like just seeing the family and then off doing
our things now.
It's back to real life.
Yeah, I know. Okay, we've got so many questions to ask you.
Okay.
We want to just start, I just want to know a little bit about going in before.
So obviously, Luca, you were in there from the beginning.
Yeah.
Gracie came in as the bombshell.
Yeah.
Did you, you know, like this is the second Love Island All Stars, right?
Yeah.
Were you ever thinking like, oh, maybe I'll go back on that?
Or was it sort of a surprise?
Like when the first season came out, you were like, oh.
I think a lot of people watched the first season
and thought, let's see how that goes.
And then when it done well,
and when like other people saw how it went down,
it enticed other people to do it.
How did you, do they like message you or call you up?
Like, are you single?
Would you be keen to coming on?
Is that just how it works?
Yeah, kind of.
Cause I did the summer one,
which was only like six months ago.
So I feel like I literally slept and went back in.
But I left with someone, but obviously didn't work out.
And then I think it was literally as that came out in the press that we weren't together
that they contacted me.
So I think that was probably about like September, October time.
So it was two months after I came out of the villa.
And I was very like, I wasn't sure that I really wanted to go back in and do it,
because I was like, I feel like I'm trying to just navigate this life anyway,
and I've just done it, do I want to go back in and do it?
And then it was literally like two weeks before I just signed the contract,
and I was like, I'm just going to do it.
Did they sort of tell you like, look, this is going to be a people talking?
They ask who you fancy and stuff like that.
Yeah, they'll say like, okay, so give me like your top three if you could pick anybody from
any series, who would you pick?
Who did you pick?
Oh my God, yeah.
Luke was in that.
Yeah, absolutely on here.
So who's you pick?
I didn't pick anyone.
I literally said, honestly, like I fancied one of them now that I was interested in,
I would have messaged them.
So I'd just rather go in blank canvas.
Yeah, I think that's good not to premeditate.
And then just before I went in, I said a couple of names. It was like a panic, like just make
sure someone-
That is good. It's gonna come in for me.
Yeah, it's gonna come in. Grace was in there. Grace was in there. You know you were.
I know I wasn't.
Yeah, well, we all saw when you walked in, it was like, oh my God.
Grace, when you were coming in as a bomb shout, what was that like before you came in? You
must have felt so nervous.
I feel like it's always really nerve-racking walking in as a bombshell because I feel like
there's a lot of added pressure to be in a bombshell because it's like you need to go
in and have this stir and split up couples and do X, Y, and Z. And it's just a lot of
pressure. And then when I actually got in there, which is just so funny, because I don't actually date on the outside,
I don't go on dates,
I don't like really ever do that.
I got in there and I got to my first chat
and I thought, oh my God, what do I even say?
And I literally thought, oh my God,
thank God I was with Casey,
because he's just a chatterbox
and we were just talking about everything and nothing.
And I literally thought, oh my God,
why did I not think of like any questions to ask
or anything like that?
And I just went so blank. And I was like, oh my God, I need to pull this round
when I speak.
Yeah, you did it so well. We were like, we were amazing. We were like, it's your, you
could try. It was really good. Okay, we're going to go into the actual villain now.
Okay.
We've got so many things to cover. I'm like, I want to get away.
I know, I know. So Luca, you were attracted to Grace when she walked in.
Yeah. You were the same, right? Mm-hmm. I know, I know. So Luca, you were attracted to Grace when she walked in.
Yeah.
You were the same, right? That was nice that you both had that mutual like first attraction.
I feel like you know when people talk about the slow burn thing, I'm like, that's not
for me. I need it to be straight away.
No, I need it to be.
The excitement.
Yeah.
The butterflies.
Yeah.
I think you know, don't you, if you fancy someone.
I just didn't have that. Like, and then when Grace walked in, I was like, right, we've
got something to go with now.
Yeah.
Yeah. And it was so sweet by the way.
It was so nice to see an emotional and vulnerable side.
It wasn't, people think, oh, it's just because there wasn't a girl in there for me.
It wasn't just that.
Going in, there was obviously a lot of stuff which happened before,
which had, leaving my sister with my socials and my family, seeing everything.
I wasn't keen to go in this time.
I was so unsure about it.
And I said to my mum before leaving, like I was worried about my sister because last
time it affected her in how like, like you get like the abuse, the hate and stuff like
that.
And I was like to mum, all I care about is just like make sure, because my sister lives
in Marbella.
I was like, just keep an eye on her.
And then like when it was week one, like you feel the weight of like the pressure, like my mum was like to
me as well, do not leave, like you do not walk out. And then I was like, I had like,
I was just sat there and I was like, what am I doing it? Like I didn't, I wasn't sure
anyway. And then like, yeah, just towards the end of week one, I was like, this is just
getting too much for me. It wasn't to do with the girls, it was me thinking about that time. I don't think anyone thought that. I think it was nice to see, obviously a vulnerable
side and it won over the public straight away because you don't really ever see that sometimes.
Yeah, obviously it's nice to have someone in there and it was different this time, but
as soon as Grace came in it sort of changed how I felt in there and I felt like I could
trust someone and I was talking to someone every day.
It was also nice to see someone with you equally into each other. It looked very reciprocated,
which was lovely.
You guys looked so vulnerable with each other.
Our first chat was awful, wasn't it?
Our first chat was terrible. I walked away thinking-
I was staring at the stars.
He was nervous and was looking all over here and I was thinking, I don't want to be rude,
but I want to say to him, I'm literally sat here like he was like
looking behind going like this and I was asking questions I was thinking what's going on?
Is that because you were nervous?
Yeah it's weird because from the start you like you look around and you're not sure like you're
because of nerves and then like as soon as you get comfortable all you want to
do is find like that person like you you're looking for each other around you
yeah yeah yeah
When you were out of the villa before you were in,
were you watching Luca on the screen?
Mm-hmm.
Oh wait, so you like isolated in a room?
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Watching what happens.
Oh my god.
So you're in cast holding, yeah,
so then you can watch the episode a day later,
so I could see everything that was going on,
because obviously you have to keep updated
with who's in a couple, the drama, kind of what's going on.
Because if you go in with like blank canvas, you have no idea who's with who and whatever
is going on.
It's a bit like you're all over the show.
So they do let you watch it a day late.
So I think I was a day behind when I went in.
I think India had been dumped and I didn't know that.
But yeah, I could see what was going on.
And your bestie was in there at this point, wasn't she?
No, she came in about a week.
Oh, of course she did.
She came in on that snog challenge.
The kiss challenge.
So this is really off the topic.
So you know Harriet because I don't understand that.
Yeah, so I saw this on TikTok.
None of you really understood.
It was never covered on the show.
Yeah, so me and Harriet grew up together.
From like young, like our mums were best mates, like had the same circle.
How weird that you both ended up on the plane. So crazy.
And then, yeah, she walked in and kissed me and I was a bit like...
I think the edit wasn't showing us what was going on between you and Harriet. I didn't
understand why she was upset. I didn't understand.
Right at the end, it's sort of the same issues.
I got what you were saying. By the way, I love Harriet.
We think she is... I'm obsessed with how much she backs you.
Yeah, yeah, yeah. She's so great.
I'm obsessed with how much she backs you. I'm obsessed with her. She's so great. It's unreal.
But I think it looked like you were just like, you just called someone, said shut the fuck
up.
Like I'm not going to spoil that, but like obviously you're still like my friend.
I just didn't know like what you wanted me to do.
I also think when you're like sister, brother friendship, it's like, it is a bit different
because there's not as many barriers.
I would expect you to.
I'd be like, you fucking said the wrong thing.
Yeah.
Do you know what I mean?
Like if it was my brother, I would say that.
But as my best friend, I'd be like, no, no, you said the right thing.
Don't worry.
Have your back on it.
But I think as well in the villa, like people didn't understand like how close and our bond
is.
So like if we do ever bicker within a day or two, it's sort of, yeah, we're like in the
villa, it's like they hold to things or they see things differently
where like Harry and me have came in with that bond already.
Yeah, it was really cute. I think we got it towards the end but the way they edited it
I was like, I'm missing something.
There was obviously a few things that were missed out probably.
They can't include everything in the whole like 24 hours. Is it also true you're filming
like until the early hours of the morning sometimes?
I think the heart rate challenge we went to bed and it was like light.
Oh no, when the birds start chirping I'm like, no, no, no.
Yeah, the birds are going and well, to be fair Curtis, I'd stay up all night watching
him.
I'm really sorry.
I loved him towards the end.
I think he's so funny.
So funny.
I actually think he's hilarious.
He is such a character.
He's great.
He's great. He's so naughty. He's great.
He's a sight too much. Okay guys, that's you. Watching you guys was so sweet. Like obviously
you must be mental coming out to the support. Like everyone is so behind you, loved you.
Like it felt so authentic. Has that been said?
No.
I said nearly. Like nearly.
It's funny how it has to be so.
I don't know.
There's pressure on you guys. I just think like boyfriend and girlfriend first.
No, would you say it's the right way around or would you say love you first?
And then boyfriend and girlfriend first.
Yeah.
I mean, I'll take whatever that way.
Yeah.
So that's on the card.
Yeah, for sure.
We already feel like we are.
Yeah, I get that.
I just want to do something nice.
Yeah. I also do get waiting till you have privacy to do that.
Yeah, exactly.
We wanted to wait. I feel like it wasn't something we wanted to do on the show.
For me, I wanted family involved. For what they see on the screen isn't everything. So
sometimes you want them to experience exactly
who Grace is and like vice versa.
Okay, right, Sammy.
So that whole situation was just, I mean,
it was a weird one because it was like,
naturally she wasn't necessarily doing anything that wrong,
but it did just cause a stir.
And I'm sure there was like producing and bits and bobs.
She came in to do her job, you know?
Like your bombshell, you've got to do what you've got to do.
Yeah. I feel like it must have been really shit for you.
It was like something weird thing.
It was like six months before as well. It was really heartwarming when you were like,
why does this happen again?
It felt like repeat. Yeah. Yeah.
It was nice to see, I also feel like that showed how much you liked Luca in that moment
as well.
I think that was the time that I clocked and I was like, oh shit, like, because I really
didn't want that taken away from me. And I was kind of like, if it does, then it's for
the best. If it's going to happen now, it might as well happen. But I was just like,
but do you know what? I knew in my heart that it wouldn't, but you just never, you can't
trust someone like a hundred percent. You can't like, I'd known you for like three weeks.
Do you know what I mean? So, but I felt like even though it had happened to me last time,
the person Luca is is a completely different person.
So I did trust you.
And you proved her right.
Yeah.
It was crazy.
It was like a roller coaster.
Scott leaving, then Ron leaving, then Sammy walks in
and I was just like, oh my God, why?
In the space of like three, four days. The producers was just like, Oh my God, like, why? Like in the space
of like three, four days though.
The producers were really like, let's give that to him.
While he's low, let's hit him.
Yeah. Okay. So your dad, your dad mentioned the bedroom, aren't it?
The tents.
Loved it.
Your reaction to that fucking killed me. Cause you were just like, why are you saying that?
I really didn't know where he was going with it because he asked me like, he didn't produce
the other side.
I don't know, he's like quite witty. I feel like that was like his dad joke. That was
him. He will have thought about it and said it. But he was like, it was Lucren by Scout.
And I thought, what an odd question to ask.
You said it to me, I was like, what?
Yeah. And I was like, why? I was like, I don't know. And then he said about the tent thing.
I was like, what? I will also say, you, why? I was like, I don't know. And then he said about the tent thing. I was like, what? And I was like, oh my god.
I will also say, you guys are the only couple
that the tent was being showed for.
Yeah, and why?
There was a few other tents, all right?
But no one else was seeing the tent.
Can we just cover that?
We would just go, because there's mics everywhere, guys.
There's a mic in your bed.
And there's a mic in the bed.
How do you whisper stuff?
We would move the pillows down to speak
and go under the quilt and hold it up.
And try and put a pillow. And try and put a pillow near the mic to try and and go under the quilt and hold it up.
And try and put a pillow near the mic to try and block it a little bit.
But look like we weren't actually blocking it.
Yeah, otherwise they'll tell you to move it.
Accidentally the pillow landed in front of us.
So do they come in and they're like...
They'll say it on, it's called Vogue, like Voice of God.
And they'll say like...
Shut up, this is inter.
Yeah, you can't speak about anything really because everywhere is miced up.
Talk to me about the bedroom stuff. Are things happening?
Yeah, are people having sex? Let's be honest.
Because Harriet and Ronnie were definitely having sex.
I have no idea.
Shut up, show me your notes.
Will you debrief the next day?
No, the boys do not speak about that.
Because you're being filmed and it's cameras and it's,
do you know what I mean?
And if they don't, the producers.
None of the boys would say,
oh, this, like, unless there was a chance
where you could say it and it wasn't being filmed, you know?
Yeah.
And Rachel's Gabby said it once
and she got annoyed about something.
She was like, I fucking slept with you
or something like that, or I fucking slept with him.
I'm sure she said.
What about Casey?
Oh, really?
Yeah, she got like annoyed about something
or she was frustrated and she was like, God, I've slept with him and everything or something along the lines of that. So I was like,
right, well I definitely know someone's happening. Sometimes you could see because it's even on the
feet and I'm like, guys, put your feet under the duvet because it is such a giveaway when you zoom
in on the foot. No, I used to hang my feet out. I used to like it. You can tell when you're not
positioned the feet. I think everyone was making tents just depends how long their tent was up for.
We would always be the ones awake the latest. We would just chat and chat.
Yeah, we would chat from outwards.
I don't know why, but in your bed and putting that duvet around, it just felt like a safe
space. Do you know what I mean? Just to talk about everything, anything you didn't want
on camera.
Because that must be such a weird... We kind of know what that's like. I remember when we used to go
to the living room filming and we'd be like, and like hold the mic down in between scenes and like
have conversations. This moment is just never good at it. Right. Okay. So we need to talk about this
and this is something that really upset me for two reasons. The whole Olivia coming out just and saying that thing about like, I've seen these screenshots.
Firstly, I'm really upset with Love Island for even airing that because I just don't
understand why they would, I don't know, I find it really strange they would air something
like that.
And why would she just want to randomly take you down like that?
That's not even benefiting her.
It was so bizarre.
It was so bizarre.
It was such a sabotage attempt.
I just was like, what the fuck?
Yeah, that's exactly.
It didn't go well for her. No, I just thought it was such a sabotage attempt. I just was like, what the fuck?
Yeah, that's exactly.
It didn't go well for her.
No, I feel like it completely backfired.
Whatever she was trying to do there, completely backfired.
And I think because I think you could probably tell in my reaction
that I was so gobsmacked by it, because I think if I'd said it,
I probably I would have looked a bit sheepish and I maybe would have tried
to own it or I would have pushed it off as like, oh, it was banter, I said it
to a friend.
But because I know it's not in my personality, I know it's not in my character, I didn't
go in there to try and be...
Do you know what I mean?
You would have known.
When we chat all the time, I would have been mentioning it in the final.
I lost.
You know when it came out straight away in my head, I was like, she's not said that.
Like, you know me.
I didn't question it.
You didn't even have to ask me.
But I felt so humiliated, like publicly humiliated,
because I was, I was sat there trying to defend myself.
Everybody around the fire pit was like nodding,
like, yeah, we've seen this.
It did make it look like that.
It really did.
I just felt so embarrassed.
And I felt, because that's not in my character,
all I could do was defend myself with words.
I didn't have my phone.
I didn't have any, I didn't have a clue
what was going on on the outside.
Then I'm saying who's fabricated these screenshots?
Who's got it in for me?
I can't even call a friend or call family.
This was filmed on Friday and the final was on Monday.
So she didn't sleep for like three nights.
I literally didn't sleep.
I was so upset and I feel like that was like quite a low time.
Like I don't, I feel like that was quite a low time. I feel
like emotion wasn't quite good.
That was our lowest point in the village. Definitely Grace's lowest point in the village.
Them three nights, the boys and the girls were kept separate, so same sex beds. I was
downstairs in the living room and she'd come down saying, I can't sleep.
Oh no, that's not good.
No, I can't bear it.
So that's when I started thinking, this is getting a bit too much.
Yeah, yeah. Because I knew it wasn't true and I could count on one hand who I'd spoke
to about Love Island.
You start to go mad, don't you?
I was driving myself insane and I just knew, do you know like in your gut when you just
know you've not done something, but I couldn't get my phone out and be like, okay, show me
the screenshots because I've got the actual messages.
Who was it? It was Messy Metro, I really thought. Yeah, so it's come out and obviously now I've seen the screenshots, I've got the actual messages. And like, thank God that- Who was it? It was Messy Mitch or whatever he's called.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Oh yeah.
It's come out and obviously now I've seen the screenshots, which they're the most ridiculous
screenshots I've ever seen in my life.
Like I've seen two different screenshots.
I've seen two or three different random things.
Yeah.
Something's ran into me.
Some Messy Mitch.
Is that what we called it?
Yeah.
Honestly, I couldn't even tell you.
I've never met the guy in my life.
Like honestly.
What the fuck? But didn't he say he just did it to make his friend win because he was desperate for his
friend to win?
Yeah, it's crazy, isn't it?
I'm like, ridiculous.
Why is he in there?
Nuts, that, isn't it?
Surely people are like, he did it on Instagram Live, I don't think anyone captured the footage
of him doing it. I found it quite frustrated that he said it on a live.
Yeah, he apparently basically said that, you know, I've got the screenshots, I can
prove that I've got the screenshots, I can prove that
I've got the screenshots and then came on.
Then posted some fake ones.
Then posted after saying, like they're fake.
Like they didn't actually have the screenshots. I was doing, I don't want Grace and Luca to
win like, like saying very negative things about me and Luca and then it obviously took
Casey and Gabby to win.
And then like two days later comes out and goes, I love Grace and Luca.
Love Grace and Luca by the way.
We're like, you need to fix it.
He's like really had a moment there.
But do you feel like you've had your fat, you like you've spoken and like you've said your piece on it.
I mean, you've spoken about it here.
Yeah, to be honest, I feel like I don't want to go too into it because this is not why I wanted to come on here.
But in a way, it's probably nice for me to say it from my point of view. But yeah, all I can really say is that I felt
very publicly humiliated, backed into a corner.
I also don't understand why you'd want to take a woman down like that. I just don't
get it.
Yes, that's what I said.
I get it.
It's so horrible.
For someone that's in the industry that I know has struggled with public hate
and that type of thing to come in
and be so okay with that happening to me
when even if I had said it, even if I had said it,
we're not all in there to be in there for a few days,
let's get it straight, we're not.
This is what we'll say.
I know, and who actually fucking cares
that you're all in there to kind of be your-
People at that fire pit were saying,
We'd love to be in your place.
We'd love to be where you are, but I'm not there.
I'm not there.
I'm so jealous.
I'm so happy for you, but I'm jealous.
I'd love to be there with my man.
So you're saying you'd love to be in the final, right?
But when it flips-
Screams at us.
And I'm apparently saying I'd do anything and everything to be in the final, it's wrong
for me to apparently have said that, but you're okay to say, I'd love to be in your position.
Like you're saying the same things, but different wording.
I just felt it was very disrespectful from Liv.
We weren't even in the firing line
and we might as well have been.
We was in the top three couples
and they were just all coming for us.
Then it's backtracking saying,
actually on the final, you know, girls coming over,
I've not seen the screenshots.
I'm really sorry, I've not seen the screenshots.
So don't sit there and back it saying, I've seen the screenshots and make me feel ridiculous
because I felt like I was going insane because I knew I hadn't said it.
There was just nothing in my mind that I was like, she would write, I'll do anything I
can. I can't even remember what she said.
I'll do anything, I can. I'll do anything and everything I can to get to the final.
I actually feel like it brought us a bit closer because I think the fact that I opened up to you
and was speaking, I was so upset to you,
but you didn't even have to question it.
That night, it wasn't on camera.
At dinner, she just, like, they keep boys and girls separate
and I could see she was upset.
And I went over and they were like,
please leave Grace alone.
And then she just burst into tears.
Like, it didn't, I don't think like,
they really, like, she realized what damage she'd do. She had to sit there
for three nights just thinking what's going on on the outside, this is ruining my experience
now, there's no way I can clear it up because it's the day before the final.
Horrible.
Yeah, it was really damaging and I feel like I carry things quite well but that really,
really hit me hard.
What was your best part of the time? Because I'm sure that was probably your lowest part.
Best part? We were saying this like when we had the dinner, do you remember the brown
table? Everyone was going to hide away or a date and we just didn't have any of that.
We were so shocked that we were in the final because we were the only couple that didn't
get a date. We didn't get a text about going on a date. So like half of the time you think,
maybe people don't want to see it. We had no idea what about going on a date. So like half of the time you think, maybe people like aren't-
Don't wanna see it.
Don't wanna see it.
We had no idea what was going on.
So I feel like it would have been nice for us
to have a date, but I feel like every day
we just spent a lot, we were just glued
to each other's side.
Yeah, we got called boring for it,
but I guess that's what you're in there for.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Is it like everyone's hanging out together
and you guys are just like, mincing?
In the daybeds, in the shade.
We would mix with people though. Yeah, we would. We. It's 24, I mean it's a long time.
I feel like our social battery also like it's a lot to be with that many energies and people 24
7. And it's the similar chats as well you know. Because it's the same thing going on. What is
everyone talking about? Just the shits in the villa. Sometimes it's like KC jump scaring people
from looking at their CD.
Yeah, sometimes it's a lot
and you just wanna be with your person in silence.
Sometimes we just chill there and not speak
and I'm like, oh, heaven.
Like you're actually on a proper holiday.
Yeah.
Aw, that's really nice at that start
of the relationship as well
when you're first getting to know someone
to get to be with them 24 seven.
It's quite magical actually.
And actually I think that really gave everyone
the impression that you guys were so into
each other because I was like, well obviously they're going to hang out on their own. That's
because they actually like each other.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
That's why.
Exactly.

We're going to go into just the villager. Any islanders that you were shocked to see come back?
I was shocked, but I knew before she was coming back, Eken.
Really?
Yeah, because me and Eken were convincing each other to do it.
Ah, and the natural relationship in there.
Same.
Me and Eken were convincing each other to do it so I think for
everyone else Ekin would have been a massive shock. Why? Just because it's Ekin.
You know? So what is this? Tell me what does that mean? I look at Ekin I think. She's like one of the biggest islanders ever.
I like for her to come back I think was a big thing. Like I don't think you'll get a bigger one in the next All-Stars.
No it was too much when she was like, not being funny, but I'm not doing it for Clout.
And I was like, fair, Clout.
She was like, I've got Clout.
And I was like, yeah.
Yeah, we were like, yeah, fair.
Absolutely fair.
That definitely was sort of like a bit of a, like not from the boys at Ecken, but I felt
with the girls maybe.
Really?
Queen Ecken.
The girls, there was a lot of big personalities, like a lot.
And we were all very different, but it kind of worked
at the same time. We were all kind of like a sister, best friend, friendship group.
The clothes situation for the girls getting ready. Do you guys have like dressing in there?
Cause it looked like there was loads of shoes in the background.
They have so much more stuff than us.
Yeah.
So ours is our two cases and that's it.
Oh, that's so sweet.
Now we get eBay, we get eBay.
No, no, no, but a commercial would come in and it's sponsored. Oh, that's so sweet. Now we get eBay, we get eBay. No, no, no.
But a commercial would come in and it's sponsored by eBay, but it wasn't like horrible things
from eBay.
It was like designer stuff.
Yeah, like vintage stuff.
Yeah, like vintage cool stuff like IMG or like Australian brands.
It was good.
No, the girls had like a triple wardrobe.
We had one like little thing.
And you wore some eBay bits. We had one like little thing and you also gave me every thing that came in was extra
large or large for all the tool fuckers. And like, I'm standing there like in a small medium,
just like getting a flowery shirt. And I'm just like, this isn't me.
I basically wanted to ask about the public kind of turning on Elmer a bit. And then also
your real thoughts on like Echin at the start I feel like as a viewer
it felt quite acted towards the end it didn't and I don't know if that was what was what you saw in
the villa and then her we have to talk about the Elmer fight like what do you think about that that
was I've never seen anything on Love Island like that. I think I was in a beach hut when that was all going on.
What the fuck?
So I actually can't comment that much.
I mean, it was great to watch.
It was really good TV.
I didn't see any of it.
Like, I literally came out and you guys were like, there are you in.
I was like, you just missed the best.
If you're going to watch any of it back, because honestly, All Stars is, like, this is probably
one of the best seasons.
Yeah, it really has.
Maybe like a few little bits.
You really should.
Yeah. We've seen enough TikToks already.
Yeah, the thing is like, you see all the TikToks
and I feel like they're all like the best bits of like,
so you don't, you know, to sit back and watch it all.
We didn't know that late show Eken Swirl,
Oh yeah, she missed it.
She did miss.
I think she thought I'm gonna do this
and then bottled it last second and just poured it on his leg.
I know, I died, I was like, ah, so close.
It was so funny.
Can I also ask a personal question
about Elmer and Sammy's age gap?
What is their age gap?
Because they mentioned it a few times.
Eight years.
Oh my God, really?
Eight years.
You wouldn't know.
No, I wouldn't guess that much.
But Sammy is, for a 23 year old, very mature.
And I didn't ever feel like, oh God,
Sammy's so much more immature than Elmer.
Elmer would always take the mic and be like,
I am way more immature than Sammy is.
And she was eight, yeah, she was in her thirties,
wasn't she, eight years older, so.
Wow, okay. Yeah.
Shall I tell you what my view of Elmer is?
I'll give you my view of DB.
She did change dramatically from the outside.
There was a change from the viewers side.
You know, like we've done around TTV,
like the edit folks, she sometimes, so.
When do you think she changed?
When she got voted.
Do you think? Yes. And it she changed? When she got voted.
Yeah.
It was quite when she got voted, what?
Yeah.
I don't know.
Honestly, like in the Elmer and Ekin situation, a lot of us didn't really know what the argument was carrying on for.
Like they've said it, like you both just need to agree to disagree and move on
and don't bring it up again. But like one thing I'll say about Elma is like, she is like, she was
like the mum of the group. Like she was literally the nicest girl to everyone.
The nicest.
The nicest.
She would like bake things for us all.
Yeah.
She would clean, like say we would all finish with our plates at dinner, boys and girls,
she'd clean everyone's plates.
Yeah, she was the proper mum girls, she'd clean everyone's plates.
Yeah, she was the proper mum.
She'd look after everyone.
She didn't get none of that shit.
We haven't seen it.
We've not seen the edit.
We haven't seen what's been shown.
But one thing you can't question is that girl's moral was impersonal.
She's like a ride or die.
She will have your back and she's just so lovely.
And I think that's what's hurtful.
And I don't think one argument should define
your whole experience, you know what I mean?
You know what, I think if there was a quick apology
straight after, or like the next day it would've been fine,
but there was a stubbornness in refusing to apologize
and the fact that she just didn't like Curtis as a person.
Well look, I thought-
She was like, I just find him really jarring.
And I was like, oh poor guy, like he doesn't mean any harm.
Like he's actually always just been so nice.
Their argument at dinner table was funny though.
It was funny.
It was funny.
They did it.
No shit Sherlock.
No shit Sherlock.
He's just funny because they're two polar opposite people.
So she's very fiery and very like Essex in like how she speaks and he's very monotone
and quite calm and like she would never get much back from him which would rile her up
more and I think they were just two polar opposite people weren't they?
They were just needed to agree people, weren't they?
They just needed to agree to disagree.
But that's what's really nice.
I like that we've asked you that question
because I was quite conscious.
I was like, how did she come across so well?
And they flipped it.
And I just thought maybe this is a bit of an edit.
And don't get me wrong, Elma coming out,
she's upset.
Like she is like proper upset.
Oh, you guys are setting the record.
No, like the video.
Yeah, reactions. Yeah, like I view. Just a whoppy no desk. Yeah, reactions, yeah.
Yeah, like I don't think any of us expected that.
No, we didn't.
That's what's so scary about these things
and like that is what's so mental no one realises.
You go and you put yourself out there,
but you can't always predict what's gonna be shown.
That's the thing.
Like Elmer like actually has such a sweet soul
and like when she does something wrong
or feels like she's done something wrong,
like sending the three islanders home, that ate her up for time.
Sorry, but can I also just say, I don't understand why everyone cried so much when someone left.
I'm like, nothing bad's happening. You're going to see these people in two weeks.
No, but I don't know.
Why does everyone cry so much?
I can't even explain the bond you feel with these people.
I just want to understand.
No, but when I used to watch it, I used to think the same. I'd think, grow up, why are
you crying when people leave?
I'd be like, Why is it so emotional?
It's so sad.
It's happened to me like three or four times now.
Honestly, it's the saddest thing
when someone's packing up their case and like,
I can imagine that.
It's really heart wrenching
because you get so close to people
and like you sleep next to them, you eat with them,
you talk to them all day every day
and then the thought of them not being in the villa
is like heart breaking.
Especially when it's your person.
If it's your person, it's horrible.
In my first ever series, I had Jack's leave.
Just like he was like-
Oh, God of course.
No, I sobbed.
I actually sobbed.
Yeah, that was a lot.
Yeah, I really felt sorry for him.
You two crying together.
He was going through a tough time.
And then I like going into this time when Scott came to me and told me he was leaving,
it just brought back what Jack was like.
And when Jack's left my journey, it just completely went downhill. So I was thinking the same sort of thing. Then
literally the next day, Ron left and pulled me for a chat. And I was just like, what is going on here?
Like my two closest people probably left in the space of two days. And like you're filming until
you said the early hours of the moon, you're fucking exhausted. You're not seeing your family.
Like it's such a weird experience. I can't even imagine how,
we used to go away on a main Chelsea
away trip for three months.
We were roaming free and I would be like
fast on the way across the road.
I needed to get home.
It was so hard.
It was so hard.
No, I miss my family so much.
The night, after Vegas night when me and Scott had our out,
that night for me, all I thought about, as much as I was
sorry to Tina and I shouldn't have reacted in the way I did, all I thought about was
the abuse my family were getting and how I couldn't speak to them because of what they'd
been through before. And I was like, I've ruined it. They're going to get so much stick.
And all I kept saying to the production was like, I'm so scared for my family. I don't
care about it. I just want to speak to them to say like, I'm fine. Like did like whatever comes your way,
like do not worry, like I'll accept it.
But like it was just horrible.
Like I kept saying it to you, I was like,
I'm just scared for like my mom and sister.
Like, cause when you slip up in there or you feel like you,
especially when you know you've done something wrong,
you know how the public will perceive that.
So I was like-
Yeah, and I feel like they're 10 times harder on you,
aren't they?
The public, you know what it's like.
Luca, could you explain to us what happened to your family last time?
Yeah, so there was a lot of stick last time, like hate and obviously death threats, which
I think is nuts for a TV show. And I know people get invested, but it's crazy. Like
saying they're going to chop my sister's head off and rape her. Like it was, yeah, it was crazy. House got robbed. Yeah, smashed him through the back when no one was there. And yeah, like that's all that
just goes through your head when you're in there, I guess. Like what would be happening
this time.
I mean, that's so much worse than just thinking I'm going to get some hate on him.
This is what I mean. This is why like the first week I was just so like scared. Like
I've done this and like there's nothing in here for
me and I'm just doing nothing and there was pressure and I was feeling like what will
happen on the outside, I don't know.
There's so much that goes through your head.
That's horrific.
Well, I'm glad that they have not got that.
We've only got one this time.
We've got a lovely experience.
Still got one?
What?
So shut the fuck up.
This has become a bit of a famous thing for you.
It's kind of like, it was unbelievable.
It was just really like, shut the fuck up. I don't know what it was.
It was just quite great.
It was my tongue.
I knew I would react.
Exactly. Like, if that was Jamie, I wouldn't even look at him. You were like, trying, you're
like, shut the fuck up. And I was like, that is a lot.
Shut the fuck up. Do you know what I was trying to do? Because I didn't want to make it. You were like, trying, you were like, shut the fuck up. And I was like, just shut the fuck up. I would do, James was like.
You know what I was trying to do,
because I didn't want to make it a thing
in front of everyone.
The cameras as well.
And just in front of all the islanders.
And he kept prodding me, going,
gee, gee, you okay, Grace, you okay.
Around that far, yeah.
And I did say to him, don't do this.
And I'm trying to, under my voice,
to like, don't make it a thing, smile and wave.
But I started getting worried,
because we were going around again with the questions. And she was digging through that box. And I was like, what't make it a thing, smile and wave. But I started getting worried because we were going around again with the questions and
she was digging through that box and I was like, what are you digging for?
Oh, I was on one of those moves where I was like, give me something good.
You pissed me off, I'm going to piss you off.
I was in like one of those.
You didn't get anything good though.
I did.
That's what I said in the argument where she started laughing.
I was like, you dug through that box and asked the most thing, like what would I what would I be like jealous about or something. That was worth digging through.
This is a shit question. I don't want this question.
Thank god you didn't get something bad though because then you just came out with like being the angel.
Exactly and I think maybe it would have been a bit of a petty one like I didn't
I didn't want to even involve myself in that but I was just...
You tried.
I think because I was the only northern girl in there as well and everyone was
southern so everyone would always like say things about me.
What was it you said that we always-
Shut up Luca. Like they would always-
Shut up when I'm talking to you.
That was it.
That's unbelievable.
That was another one.
That was it.
That was it.
That's not how I sound though.
Yeah it is.
I think that sounds really-
Go on then.
Shut up when I'm talking to you.
I know it, yeah.
Shut up. Shut up.
Shut up when I'm talking to you.
Shut up when I'm talking to you.
Not you, yeah.
It's yeah.
Shut up when I'm talking to you. It's like I say yeah. Shut up when I'm talking to you. Shut up when I'm talking to you. Not you, yeah. It's yeah. Shut up when I'm talking to you.
Should I say yeah?
Shut up when I'm talking to you.
That shut the fuck up went down because it was just like, I'm upset.
There was two in one guy.
It was literally two.
There was another one where you said it to that other guy too and you were like shut
up.
Omar.
Omar because he was, he was riled up.
No, I rated it.
Yeah, you did.
It was shut the fuck up.
I was upset about obviously Lucas Kissing Sammy and I would think I was trying to speak to
Tina about it and then Omar does this thing where you never know if he's joking
or bantering, but he sounds like he's being serious. So I think he was like maybe telling
me to stop speaking while the game's going on. And I said, okay, let me just get this
off my chest and just let me have my little rant for two seconds. And then he was like,
well, no one's going to play if you don't shut up. And I said, well, why don't you
shut up? And this is how it started because I was already riled up anyway.
You'd stormed off from the game drama.
I wasn't in the kitchen actually.
I went off for a while.
As if I'd done something wrong.
He'd stormed off from the game
and it was just all high emotions.
I stormed off because I was like,
I'm not playing this game if I can't deal
with what I wanna deal with.
Okay, just going back to the same thing
and we've covered this and we're all for you and whatever.
But I just wanna ask, do you feel a bit like, okay, you've mentioned the two DMs, so I was
like, maybe drop it a bit?
Was there any of that?
I mean, the DMs, at the fire pit, you know, when she came back in, I was like, yeah, you
put your two pence in about the DMs.
I didn't mean the DMs that she started talking about.
I meant the ones that Liv was on about, like when she-
Yeah, sure.
About the screenshot.
And I was like, oh, we're talking about the DMs again now.
Great.
Oh, God.
But like, it just got brought up.
So I said happy birthday to you, like two years ago.
Oh, was that what it was?
Yeah.
And I also said Merry Christmas to Grace recently.
I got a Merry Christmas two months ago at Christmas.
Like, I don't need to be-
Did you?
This is such a-
I don't need to be ding, ding, ding, ding, ding.
I got a Merry Christmas.
When you guys had met before, like was it just, can you just give us like how?
Yeah, so we'd met in like a social setting
with like a bit of work that I'd done.
And to be honest, we didn't really speak much.
No, no.
We didn't speak.
Like we said like, hello, I always thought
you were good looking, but I just think like,
we just didn't, I don't know.
And I also was very anti-boyfriend or anything like that.
I was with my best friend at the time.
Like we were just like having fun and like working and whatever. And I just think we anti-boyfriend or anything like that. I was with my best friend at the time. We were just having fun and working and whatever.
And I just think we just never really spoke.
We knew of each other.
No, it was in the environment to kind of speak boxing,
like fights and stuff.
Yeah, it was boxing stuff.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
It's funny how you actually all cross paths with each other.
While she was in the ring,
can I pull you for a chat?
We've literally been at dinners together
with big groups and never spoke.
Yeah, but on the same night.
Well, you clearly wanted to because you messaged us saying, Merry Christmas.
That's like you're sliding in someone's DMs there.
Have you had time to go on a date in real life?
And we're outside.
We went, we had dinner the day we landed with my mom and sister.
And then we had dinner with her two best mates last night.
But like a proper date, date we've not actually.
Yeah, just the two of you.
Just the two of us, yeah.
I haven't planned a date for so long.
Oh, you got to now.
Like so long.
But we're, like I booked us a spa today.
Oh, nice.
Just like a hotel in London, just with a swimming pool.
Gorgeous.
Oh, this is.
But it's just like, just to chill for a bit, you know?
Yeah.
Before we go out tonight, we can go chill by the pool
or something.
And then we're also trying to get a holiday in when we can.
But it's just getting back into the routine.
Yeah, want to get back into life, like see family, see friends.
I think that's why we've not tried to seclude ourselves to be like,
we'll just go on a date, me and you, because I want, obviously,
obviously I've been with his family.
You've been with each other also the whole time.
The important thing for us is like, just introducing everyone.
Yeah, integrating everything in.
That's a lot.
It's so exciting.
It's a lot.
But it's gonna be safe, fam. So exciting. Okay, we've got some quick fire questions. Mess, integrating everything in. That's a lot. So exciting.
He's so fam.
So exciting.
Okay, we've got some quick fire questions.
Messiest islander in the villa?
What, like, drama or like, filthy?
Messy clothes, filthy.
I'm thinking messy clothes.
Messy clothes.
Oh, messy clothes.
I don't know, the girls weren't that bad.
In the boys, Ronnie.
Most fun in the villa.
Casey's funny.
Casey, Casey's good energy.
Casey's good energy. Do you know who actually
was loads of fun when they were there? Chugs. He is funny. He's so funny. I saw the mummy
and daddy thing. I'm really upset he got really bad at online because I didn't feel bad with
him. But you all rated them boring. Yeah, so I'm sorry. But they didn't even like each
other so what? It was because Tina and Chugs were boring together.
We did say, and I think individually we would never say either of you were boring.
They were both so funny individually but together they were boring.
I also don't think they should have been in that game. It would have been a lot better game if Tina and Chugs were presenting it.
It gave people a cop out to just pick them.
I agree, I agree.
Well that's good intel. Ch is funny loudest snorer.
Catherine or Sammy? Sammy. Which one? Sammy was a... The boy? Yes. Or Curtis. Curtis?
Yeah. Wait so you have to sleep with them just snoring? Sammy would have full conversations in his sleep like full conversations. Yeah. That's a new idea. He has a sleep talker. I used to throw
pillows at him. Oh, okay, right.
This is quite good.
What and when do you eat?
Chicken and rice nearly every day.
Chicken and rice.
No vegetables?
Yeah, the veg.
Yeah, yeah.
Do you know what?
The food wasn't that bad.
It was a lot better than the summer one I was on.
Just cover it in sriracha mayo.
Yeah.
You don't eat together?
We don't eat together.
No, boys are separate.
They split girls and boys off.
They don't want you to have chats over lunch because they're not like, they're always filming, but it's not like people put hoodies on and will like
change and stuff. So they're not showing that as a proper scene.
And like apparently us eating isn't sexy.
It's so funny how it's just anthropology. Like we're literally just watching a bunch
of humans go about their business and we all love it.
It's kind of like Little Sims, isn't it? Like when I was watching in Cast Holding Up, it
was like all these little sim characters and I thought I'm going to be in there and it's
so weird to go in and then see them all there.
It's like sim characters.
Yeah.
Okay, right. Snakiest person in the villa.
Oh, T. Snakiest.
Snakiest.
There hasn't really been that many snakes this season.
I also feel like everyone was, like, I feel like this is why they maybe didn't do a movie
night because if anyone said anything.
I was so bummed they didn't.
You probably know who was more snaky than we know. You probably know more than us. No, quite frankly, there wasn't really anything snaky. No, everyone was really nice said anything, I was so bummed they didn't. You probably know who was more snaky than we know. No, quite frankly, there wasn't really anything
sneaky. No, everyone was really nice. I was hoping to get the tea then. Oh, Ronnie, to
you. Sorry, I didn't like that. He was really not very nice about Luca. Yeah, we only found
this out as soon as we got out. He was so nice to him in every scene. Jamie was convinced.
But I could only go off what was happening in front of me.
I heard a lot of like, I've heard since.
What did he say again that he just didn't like you?
I think that was him just overly having Harriet's back in that moment.
I agree, but it wasn't-
But like I didn't hear any of it.
I pulled him up like a few times and said, I've heard this.
What did he say?
Like, no, that's not true.
Who's the person you trusted the least?
I don't know who I'd say least.
It's the same as like being a snake basically, isn't it?
Yeah, kind of.
I know.
I trusted the most in the boys, probably Curtis.
I love it.
You and Curtis' friendship, they really didn't say that.
Me too.
I'm really obsessed with it.
Curtis, I would confide in everything.
Because he's like salt of the earth, isn't he?
Very level-headed and very mature.
Won't we act like I know everyone?
I'm like, yeah, I'm cursing it.
The least, the least, Liv. Oh yeah, obviously. That was like I know everyone. I'm like, yeah, I'm Curtis. Do you think you're gonna like me more or not?
The least, the least, Liv.
Oh yeah, obviously. That was so stupid of her.
Liv and Sammy.
For Snake and the least, yeah.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Can I ask, do you think Eken and Curtis will last?
I really hope so. They bring out a really, really nice side in each other.
They're crazy together. No matter what they're talking about, you're just like, what are
they even talking about? How's that that happened? Or like, it's just, they're just crazy. Yeah.
Couple you're most excited to socialize with?
Harriet and Ronnie.
Yeah, we would have said, yeah, Harriet and Ronnie always.
Okay, so you and Ronnie are going to have to get over this hurdle then.
Well, I didn't know there was a hurdle till I came out. So now there is a hurdle.
That anything had been said until we landed back and got our phones back.
Then my boys are piping up like,
what's this like he said this behind,
but we'll have a chat.
Yeah. I'll pull him for a chat.
I think it's very like you said in the moment,
I think he's very protective of Harriett
and I think he'd thought you'd done wrong.
So it was kind of like, do you know,
he was just saying what he felt like he wanted to say.
He's just fiercely protective.
Yeah.
He is a head over heels. You know what, it was actually really say. He's just fiercely protective. Yeah. Yeah.
He is a head over heels.
You know what?
It was actually really great.
He's obsessed with her.
And also I liked it in the moments.
I don't think people spoke about this enough in quiet moments, like in bed and stuff.
You would see how much she also really loved him.
She'd be like, I really love you too.
But like, she never said it like that.
It was real cute.
Yeah.
She never really said that.
So then when they'd come out and she would say, oh, I've not said I love you to her.
Yeah, I know. In the day, she'd be like trying to hide it.'d come out and she would say, I've not said I love you to her. Yeah, I know.
In the day she'd be like trying to hide it.
But I get that she's trying to say face a bit from last time properly.
Yeah.
I get it.
Okay, first message that you saw when you got your phones back?
Group chats.
Yeah, I think it was just group chats.
One of my best mates, Billy, was texting me every day what he thought.
That's so cute.
That is cute. That's a lot of messages to look at.
And for like a boy to do that I was just like no.
But like an awful by the time you got out.
Yeah, basically.
And I flipped through them and then yeah.
I think that was one.
I think he was one of the first I called as well.
Yeah, I think it was group chats for me.
And like family, to be honest, I can't remember the exact message but.
You just see a few and some catch your eye, you know.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Oh, well they must have been so proud of you guys.
Oh, thank you.
That's the end of it.
We could just speak to you guys for so long.
Thank you so much.
