Starting point is 00:00:23 Call 1-866-531-2600 or visit connectsontario.ca please play responsibly hey guys it's sophie here i'm melissa and welcome to our new podcast wednesdays we drink wine happy christmas merry christmas i mean it's not officially christmas yet but we're very close and it all feels a bit bizarre right now doesn't it it really doesn't also i've i've been doing like a lot of well i guess everyone doubts like the christmas we got honestly became a yes day to so many lovely lovely various board deliveries like hotel chocolate all of those things I haven't had a single thing we dug into everything and I wake up this morning I was like I'm as full as I am
Starting point is 00:01:11 bring me some today if you come and see me bring me some of the chocolate oh yeah of course I will actually just Jamie was like can you throw it out because it was too yeah yeah yeah he'll just sit and eat the whole thing guys whenever I go obviously so me and Jamie Jamie's such a little sweetie he gets himself an English breakfast tea he sits down on the floor and then he gets himself a little bar of Tony's chocolate and it's exactly what I do when I go home like we all sit and have a coffee and a cup of tea and we eat chocolate and have our coffee on the floor and it just made me die why do you do it on the floor? I don't know I just my parents don't but I always sit on the floor right next to the coffee table, so it's like easy access.
Starting point is 00:01:45 Yeah, so it's easy access. He loves to do that. Funny. Too, too sweet. Too, too sweet. I hope everyone's plans have been okay for Christmas. We were all just saying ours have been a bit screwed over. Ours have all messed up, but I'm still going to be with my family, so that's okay.
Starting point is 00:02:00 I'm really grateful for that. I might not be. You're not going to be. I know, I know. but that brings us on to having christmas with your with your partner yes it does it's swiftly on lovely little um swiftly should we go straight into that yeah let's go straight into that we've got a couple bits this is like a different episode isn't it yeah we we've done some assumptions um wanted to see what you guys thought about us and we were gonna answer
Starting point is 00:02:26 some home truths so we've got a few of those what order should we do should we do them first should we no no should we do assumptions last as if it's single diaries and then should we do the like mini dilemmas about christmas yeah okay fine fine fine fine okay do you want to read the first one okay right so we've just got these little snippets so at what stage do you spend Christmas with your boyfriend slash girlfriend and their family I've never done this you're quite the expert right so we had a when Jamie and I had but we probably hadn't even been going out for a whole year we both went to Mawzine I went with my dad and he went with his dad completely coincidental and
Starting point is 00:03:05 they really kindly because there was only three of us it was my sister my dad and myself they invited us for christmas day and it was really lovely like i didn't think anything really of it it felt quite normal but i think that was just circumstance like do you know what i mean it's quite circumstance and also i think it's like different if only because i think if your parents aren't still together and you're like no only family only family i think if your parents are still together it's so different for me it feels different yeah so for them it's just like christmas is what it is like let's just all have fun together like it doesn't matter and the same for me because my parents are together so we're like come over so that worked really well for you
Starting point is 00:03:40 guys yeah it's quite very relaxed also my friend izzy who's just got engaged um well when she got engaged in the summer yeah lost track of time they're spending christmas this year together and so i think that's also quite telling like she's got a ring on her finger now they're also getting a puppy straight after christmas oh my god i know i know so you know what i would find really hard about that whole thing? Like, whose parents do you spend Christmas with? Like, are we going to spend it with your parents or my parents? Yeah, that's the thing. I think it's hard because, oh, it's hard for us because we live abroad.
Starting point is 00:04:12 Like, most people don't live too far away. So it's like, oh, we can go to you or Christmas morning. Christmas Eve and then Boxing Day or whatever. Yeah, yeah. For us, it's like, oh, it's got to be one of the others. For one of the others. My sister's quite like that as well because her boyfriend's from up north. So it's quite, you know, it's not going to be like...
Starting point is 00:04:31 It's not like you can nip in a car for an hour and a half and you're there. No, but maybe she'll be spending it with his family this year, who knows? Oh God, yeah. So I think it's circumstantial, but I think for people like Melissa, who, fat parents, are still together and, you know, it's very, very family family oriented I think it'd be quite a big deal for you to bring it would be a huge deal I would never do and also my parents would be like no unless you're mine which I totally agree I'm like I don't want you invading on my private family like day no thank you I always my ex used to get quite upset about how disgusted I was about that whole thing he was like I wouldn't
Starting point is 00:05:04 I was like I would never do I remember you used to always say it to me and I used to get quite upset about how disgusted I was about that whole thing. He was like, I would never do it. I remember you used to always say it to me, and I used to be like, all right, calm down. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I'm so upset not to be with Jamie for Christmas. I'm like, God, can't you look after me? I don't have a Jamie in my life, but yeah, no, I don't. I like spending Christmas alone with my family. And I'm like, where would you fit in?
Starting point is 00:05:22 And also, opening presents from family members is, like,'re an awkward when there's like another person sat there watching like do you know what i mean i know and they've got like one present and yeah yeah yeah it's like oh god i know i'm just picturing i actually oh god i have no freaking clue what i'm doing this whole thing's just weird but neither um but yeah i guess do you know what i just a bit of a nightmare. But, yeah, I guess... Circumstances. Do you know what I think a lot of people do? Tell me. I think they have Christmas with their parents, and then they go... Everyone gets a bit boozy, don't they, at Christmas date?
Starting point is 00:05:54 And then they go and have... Or, like, they're put there... Depending on who's got the sort of more lively family, they invite that partner over to, like, have drinks and play games in the evening. Like, I would invite someone over. It's like my hairdresser was saying we're really tight he was telling me that his his last year because of covid he has to spend it at his girlfriend's house and they're very you know quiet reserved like civilized and he's got a huge family loads of cousins loads of like
Starting point is 00:06:21 brothers and sisters all got really pissed and he was like she's gonna come to mind this year because it's just you know a bit more of a party yeah right reacting to gifts you don't like we've all bloody been there so here we go so i specifically asked my partner for this one necklace for christmas sent him about a million notifications on instagram hinting that i wanted that one and i know for a fact he's gotten me a different one we live together and i'm the one that grabs the that one and I know for a fact he's gotten me a different one we live together and I'm the one that grabs the mail how do I hide my disappointment have you ever received a gift you didn't like from a partner and what did you do I know this dilemma is a bit materialistic oh god that's quite annoying because like I've been do you know who does this my dad bless his
Starting point is 00:07:01 sweet sweet soul every year well he's kind of got better as we've grown older when i was younger he would get me something really like extravagant and like it wasn't like like a shit present i'm like you spent a lot of money on that and it's gross i don't oh no not a lot of money which you know what i mean like it wasn't like yeah he'd just given me like a shit he'd like basically thought put a lot of effort into it and i was like why wouldn't you just listen to me and get me the thing i want because i'm never gonna wear that you should ask the other sibling or yeah it's hard though because he doesn't have another woman to maybe ask oh no no no my dad just goes on his own thing he's like no no i don't care this is cooler he goes into this shop and it's called like uno de
Starting point is 00:07:45 the finko which is like one of five there's one in london and he the woman he thought oh there's only one there's only one of 50 of these in the whole world like it's amazing i was like no there isn't it's a chain there's one on like regency oh bless him bless him um what would i do i've i've only opened one gift i really haven't liked you have to be honest if it's expensive otherwise you feel too it's such a waste of money i don't know if i could do it to a partner though i could with jamie just because i'm just like that but i i would feel bad to other i know he wouldn't get offended like he'd just be like i would rather you you spend it on my season. Like it.
Starting point is 00:08:26 But if they've thought, oh, it's quite sweet, isn't it? If they've thought on longer and they've done it, it's like a big old surprise and they just don't like it. Oh my God, that happened to me with a partner before
Starting point is 00:08:34 and they even asked you for advice and I put it on ours and I don't like it. What, what, what? It was this like fluffy big coat. I don't remember that. Do you not remember? No.
Starting point is 00:08:44 It was like four years ago to be fair I personally if it was really expensive I'd be like I'd feel so bad if you're not gonna wear it then you
Starting point is 00:08:55 I'd probably be like I'm so sorry I love it but it just doesn't look right and I don't want you to waste your money but if you are gonna wear it and it's just not the perfect one
Starting point is 00:09:03 and you actually really like it then I wouldn't say anything. I also would maybe save saying something until the next day. Like, don't open it and be like, I don't like it. Oh, God, no. A week later. Be like, pretend. And then after a week be like, oh, you know what?
Starting point is 00:09:15 I'm trying this one again and I'm just really not sure if it's actually quite right. Yeah. Do you know what I mean? Oh, God. Terrible, terrible, terrible. Oh, no. What I'm like, my heart's kind of hurting a bit is the fact that he's bought it and sent it
Starting point is 00:09:27 and she's already seen it. Seen it, and she now has to act when she opens the present. Oh, God, guys are so sweet. It's just one of those things you've got to go along with it. It's just one of those things. Yeah, it does happen a lot, though. Should we do another mini one? Yeah, do you have one?
Starting point is 00:09:44 Okay, boyfriend earns more money than me and i feel guilty because i can't afford what he spends um i just think that that's a very common thing like there's always going to be something you're never going to earn exactly the same oh yeah oh sorry i didn't want to be silent on that i'm sure jamie earns way more than i do i don't care yeah more presents for me. Take me to Cartier, please. No, I don't really think that. Don't feel bad. You just have to embrace it. Let him spoil you so that you deserve it.
Starting point is 00:10:11 Do you know what I mean? Yeah, I wouldn't feel bad. I think everyone, you know, it's all relative, isn't it? And I don't think, you know, if he wants to spend that. He's not going to not appreciate your gift because it's not as expensive. Like, I don't think. It's really not all about that as well, is it? No, it's not. It's more thoughtful. Like I said i made jamie a scrapper for his last bath and he
Starting point is 00:10:28 loved it you're such a sweetie i know right should we dive into the big old long juicy ones now i feel like i'm ready for this okay yeah okay so is this cute or creepy i have a festive dilemma for you two nights ago my uber was hit by a Long story short, the guy was meant to be meeting for drinks, a new date from a dating app, but we'd been talking for a couple of months. Took me to the hospital. I was admitted with a brain injury. While we were waiting around for a doctor
Starting point is 00:10:55 in the emergency department, we kissed. Oh. I thought it was cute. He'd been so sweet since and can't wait to take me out. When I'm better. Turns out bad concussion takes some time but my friends are livid he kissed me in that situation to say he took advantage I know I was fully into it at the time but still recovering from a head injury so outsourcing the decision
Starting point is 00:11:16 to you guys let me know if you think what happened was cute or creepy thanks and avid Wednesdays we didn't want to find oh I think it's cute I think it's cute I don't think that's creepy at all. You've been speaking for months. You were going on a date, and he was probably worried about you, and it was probably a moment to be like, like a moment of, like, empathy and compassion.
Starting point is 00:11:36 Yeah, he probably, like, felt like he really could see you and really cared for you. Gave you a kiss. He took you to the bloody hospital, and he's still talking to you now after. Like, I don't think that's creepy at all. I don't think that was creepy at all. I don't think that was creepy at all. I think it's so romantic and very sweet. And I hope your head's okay.
Starting point is 00:11:49 Yeah, I know. A bloody bus. But that's not... No, I've heard some horrible stories about, like, Ubers being hit. My friend Alice was hit by... She was in a Captain. Do you remember those Captain things? Basically the same as an Uber or a Bolt.
Starting point is 00:12:00 Oh, yeah, like Bolt. And they had a really bad accident. And I think it was her driver's fault. That was just really awful driver i mean you do get some shocking drivers you're like i'm gonna get hit like so scared and she like really messed up it like really messed up like the whole of her neck and the whole of her back and she had to have like so much treatment she had to have loads of botox because all of her muscles seized up so in the muscles to try and relax them she was like this honestly for like eight weeks oh god it was awful and then they didn't give her any conversation they were like and my friend was like we need to take you to court and they were obviously because they're
Starting point is 00:12:32 a big company they just refused terrible when these things happen but um yeah i think it's a really cute story romantic i think it's a really cute story and i think lovely guy took you to hospital i mean he'd be pretty fucking awful if he didn't but i'm picturing like you being held in his arms while he kissed you you know like a baby he was probably so worried about you as well and you probably looked really sweet and like innocent and like where am i you know when people are concussed and they're like what yeah and also you remember the kiss it's not like you were blacked out and he like when you were passed out he kissed you like yeah yeah yeah like those stories when everyone's like i was asleep and someone did this yeah and you were in a dark room and no one could see you and you took you're in a hospital in the middle of a room like it's fine it's not like
Starting point is 00:13:18 you're really underage and he's really old yeah i'm sorry there's nothing creepy here it's i don't think i ever think that it is it's just a kiss like and it's sweet yeah okay i've got a little one boyfriend didn't buy me a christmas present but sent my family a card dot dot dot what does this mean he sent the whole family a card but didn't buy you a gift did you buy him a gift but also writing a christmas card like i haven't written christmas cards in so long my family don't send them out anymore because they're like it's such a waste of paper as well yeah no no no send a nice text but why go through the whole effort of right buying a card writing the card putting it in the letterbox going to the post office is it just buying your girlfriend like a lovely little like i don't know like a nice jumper like pop to the shop and get a nice
Starting point is 00:13:57 jumper for christmas i don't know probably because the car's a lot cheaper he's probably just a boy like i really it's just i, I don't know him. I need a bit more backstory on this, but I'm imagining he's just, like, a bit of a shit, you know? Imagine if Jamie did it to you. You'd be a bit like, what? I'd be like, where's my present? Yeah, where's my gift?
Starting point is 00:14:14 No, as in, like, I'd be a bit confused. I'd be like, why have you sent my family a card? Like, Jamie would just never send people a card anyway. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Card is quite, like, old school, especially if you're not going to get a present. It is a bit of a weird... I don't know. If he's always got you gifts and it's suddenly with he suddenly doesn't but maybe he just thinks it's not appropriate to get each other guests unless you're spending christmas
Starting point is 00:14:32 together and he's just being polite by sending your family a card yeah for some reason i've been picturing that they've been living together and he's sent them a card and i'm like this just is odd but yeah it probably isn't as odd as we think i think he's probably just a bit of a boy and just probably they are a bit classic they're just they're just not with it are they they're really not okay now we've got some juicy well they're not that juicy but like we've got some assumptions about sophie and i either our friendship yeah i thought you guys would have given us some juicier ones not lies slightly disappointed disappointed in you well will you forgive me i'm joking um okay so one assumption is that you are very fulfilled in your life right now but used to be insecure did you used to be insecure and are you fulfilled in your life right now i'm very
Starting point is 00:15:21 fulfilled there was like moments i think with my ex where I was like what the hell am I doing in my life that was an insecure moment do you know what I mean yeah when I was like you kept saying that to me you were like we need to be doing something I was like no as in not as in like what I was doing but like my situation with the ex and I was like what am I doing with my life right now but I'm so fascinated I used to ask you all day about it so how long have you been having these thoughts I've asked her so many times guys and i still just liked her again um i don't i just remember like we would sound like he had like a youtube channel for a bit and he would do like a q a and there would always be questions on there like when do you guys want to get married when do you want to have children that was like a year and i would literally sit there and be like i don't
Starting point is 00:16:01 want to get married and then he'd have to stop recording he'd be like what why are you saying that and i'm sorry oh my god like i just like it's always like three years later he's still having a thought i just always just had this like like it just like i don't know like what the fuck what the fuck am i doing like and then it would go always not always then it would go it would just like bubble up every couple of months and i'd facetime my friend ali and i'd be like oh god you really hit it while i was just still fucking over it and then yeah also thinking back to croatia that should have that really should have been oh my god i know how bad was that but you know when you're trying to prove everyone wrong you're like no i'm right and also you probably weren't so in love so you didn't actually care that much you know if you really love something yeah yeah yeah it's like the end of the world it really wasn't you couldn't have given a shit you just kind of didn't want to look bad yourself
Starting point is 00:16:52 yeah yeah yeah that's what really was that's what it was really about you didn't want to be stupid if anyone was a an avid made in chelsea fan you'll suck back to 2017 or something oh my god it was a long old time ago wasn't it jesus there was some some rookie things happening um have i been in school i think when i left uni sorry i forgot about this when i left the year i got back from traveling so i left uni before i didn't didn't know what i was doing i was really like what the fuck am i doing and honestly i literally went and tried so many different things and then she came and made Chelsea and boom oh god problem solved
Starting point is 00:17:28 then I just decided you know reality TV was the most aspirational thing I could be doing daddy would be proud goal in life
Starting point is 00:17:38 rich and famous that's so funny I went to quest with a girl who said that and I was like you know what I rate you so much
Starting point is 00:17:44 for saying that what did she say she was like joking we were like 18 she's like it was like we're going around the room like asking like ideally like what we do she's like I just want to be rich and famous and I was like I wrote you because like we all secretly want the same thing it was just so funny and she was like deadly serious I don't know what she's actually doing now but it was very very funny let's hope she's rich and famous but yeah that was probably the only time well i've definitely by the way been in school i think there was a blip for me but that was like a real a real time and i was like i think that happens to a lot of people the hell am i doing shit i'm gonna have to go and get a job now it's the real yeah they called it like the last year i
Starting point is 00:18:22 think it's like a year when you leave uni before you sort of get a job when you turn and now and like no one really knows what they do i still don't know what i want to do people say that until the day they die but i'm like the fact that i don't it's not that i don't know what i would but i really like what i'm doing like i love what i'm doing do you know yeah i like what i do but i also don't know like if if someone's i can't stand it when people go so what what what are you doing and I'm like this no no no what are you doing at the moment when you go to a fucking house party and there's like a couple people that you haven't seen in a long time and you have to have the same conversation with like five of them no I'm talking about like
Starting point is 00:18:58 parents because also like if I were to sit trying to explain it they'd be like well what's that oh god parents I think are quite like I'm not impressed explain it, they'd be like, well, what's that? Oh, God. Parents, I think, are quite not impressed by it. But they're like, oh, OK. Oh, God. No, mine's the opposite. Really unimpressed. Really? Yeah.

Please play responsibly right you knew from an early age you'd be slash want to be in the public eye i always wanted to be an actress or an actor so my mum always used to say about me that i'd be on the stage just because i was very like like there's like home videos of me and i'm so like preco precocious, and I'm, like,
Starting point is 00:20:05 I'm, like, pretending to be, like, a Blue Peter presenter and stuff like that. I always was on the stage. I did loads of acting growing up. Did you? Mm-hmm. Always. I did loads of dancing on the stage. Look at us.
Starting point is 00:20:18 Look at us. I never really thought, oh, God, I want to. No. I never thought, like, oh, I'll be on. Well, maybe I did. Like, I just don't know. Did you? it no I think being on mini Chelsea that that literally fell into my like lap a couple times over the space
Starting point is 00:20:31 of you and it probably did for you as well it wasn't something that you it's not something that you can go out and be like right I want to do this like it doesn't work like that what do you know what I mean it's not like being an actress where you're like right I'm my passion is acting I'm gonna go to auditions I'm gonna make this happen for myself like being an actress where you're like, right, my passion is acting. I'm going to go to auditions. I'm going to make this happen for myself. Like, being on shows like reality shows doesn't happen like that. Like, they come to you. It's not something you can go out and seek and make happen for yourself. You know what I mean?
Starting point is 00:20:55 So you're achieving a goal. Well, kind of you can now, actually, with, like, Love Island, you apply and stuff like that. And I'm pretty sure maybe Chelsea people, I don't know. But anyway, I actually did go to auditions i actually genuinely really wanted to be an actress and then i i went and did like a rada thing and i was around oh my god everyone and i was like fuck i just i was like and i was like i want to go out and party tonight and everyone was like doing rehearsals all through the night and i was like i don't love it enough to yeah and so I was like this this
Starting point is 00:21:25 can't be good for me but still to this day my dad thinks I'm going to be a famous actress I'm not even joking honestly he does screw that for yourself by going on reality tv that completely ruins any chance of being taken seriously as an actress doesn't it actually no ollie lock was in quite a good film as a reality star but yeah he was oh was he okay um you are totally different on screen versus off screen well this is off screen so this is what we are like yeah i would say we're obviously a bit more silly off screen yeah i'd say we have we're our age as off screen yeah yeah we're a bit more silly i'm also just a bit more like slumpy slumpy. Like, we don't sit and have, like, lovely, normal... I don't know.
Starting point is 00:22:07 Actually, no, of course we do. Like, if we go out for a coffee, of course we do. But, like, a lot of the time, like, we're sat on Sophie's sofa, just, like, slouched. Yeah, we don't look... And I'm eating Sophie's chocolate. Not that you guys see us now, but we do not look pretty. Yeah, yeah, yeah. We don't.
Starting point is 00:22:19 Like, spot cream on the spots. Tracks. Greasy hair. All we wear is trackies. Trackies. A cap and a puff jacket. Nonstop. Also, if you see us out,
Starting point is 00:22:29 that's all we wear out as well. It's not like we just wear that in the house. I'm going to go get my nails done. I'm wearing this. That's all I wear. Full song. Unless I'm going out for dinner or to an event. Yeah, I don't make an effort.
Starting point is 00:22:41 Trainers, a hoodie, a puff jacket and a cap. Sometimes I'll put jeans on. Sometimes I'll put jeans on. Sometimes I'll put jeans on. Sometimes if I'm feeling like a boss. When we went for breakfast the other day, that was quite nice. We both wore semi-nice outfits, but still very relaxed. Yeah, no makeup. Never a drop of makeup.
Starting point is 00:22:54 No, yeah. Or hair's never really done, to be honest. Oh, God, no. I haven't curled my hair. I haven't honestly touched my hair since we stopped filming for Chelsea. Lol. Lol. Disliked each other at first no always really liked each other or did we like no no we liked each other at first
Starting point is 00:23:11 and sophie was really nice to me she was the only one that spoke to me like it can be like quite a bitchy like scary environment it's like imagine walking into like a house full of people that are all friends that are all old than you definitely hierarchy we're really going down such a hierarchy yeah it's like she's been there the longest longest the noob it's definitely like newbies oh geez oh god yeah 100 and also everyone hated my boyfriend at the time so everyone like sort of automatically hated me apart from sam thompson oh no that's so mean i didn't i actually and sophie was really nice to me yeah i slid into her i d DM'd her. Yeah, you did. You were like, are you going to the event day? What are you wearing?
Starting point is 00:23:48 You were so sweet. And I was like, oh. And I remember being like, is this real? Or is she just saying this to find out if I'm filming? Like, does she actually care about what I'm wearing? Or is she just trying to find out if I'm going to be in her scene or something? Because it was like a lingerie one. I was going to go wear sluts. And everyone else was wearing like woolly slippers and stuff.
Starting point is 00:24:08 I remember what you wore. You wore those high heels and you wore like, it had like feathers on the bottom. No, it was like a silk pajama. It was silk pajamas. What did you wear? I didn't go. I wasn't going to that event. Oh, fuck yeah.
Starting point is 00:24:19 I went as a slut on my own. It was great. Bloody hell. I think Frankie was quite slutty as well. You both wore heels and like bare legs. Yeah. Okay. You like beach more than city vacations yeah yes 100 city vacations i feel a bit sick by the way i feel like you can do a city vacation vacation sorry holiday vacation vacation uh for like two days max and then i'm like done like you can't there's only so many
Starting point is 00:24:42 restaurants all you can do is sit in a restaurant in a city. Yeah. Do you know what I mean? I feel a bit like I've got Greece. The only ones I've really done are Spain. I've done Seville and places like that. But I, yeah, I feel a bit like, oh, I'm full of food. At least on like a hot, like, beach. We also live in a city. You can go in the sea.
Starting point is 00:24:58 One of the best cities ever, so. Yeah, we don't want to go to another city necessarily. I mean, I wouldn't mind going around to a few. But like, I much prefer always, always vote for a beach holiday. I do really, really want to go to another city necessarily. I mean, I wouldn't mind going around to a few, but, like, I'd much prefer always vote for a beach holiday. I do really, really want to go to New York. I've been. And Barcelona. But I would go again and, like, do it properly
Starting point is 00:25:12 and then maybe, like, go on to the Hamptons or something. That's so fun. Part of the popular girls in school. God, I don't know. But my friends are. My friends are really good, fun people. So I just think... My friends were really good, fun people,
Starting point is 00:25:23 but there was never sort of... My school really wasn't bitchy. So, likey so like no neither and there was so many different groups it wasn't actually like there was one not like one big group that was like at the top it was like there's just so many different groups yeah but i would say ours was the loudest it was very like loud loud loud yeah you know we've only got one more left you get envious of one another no no yes all the time everything all of jewelry safe i'm like i am so jealous no i get oh yeah i always get jealous i'm like really jealous of that jacket not like envious as in like jealousy toxic but like i'm like oh so envious of your lovely long legs like we have like a very complimentary like

Starting point is 00:26:42 they entertained me so much like the thought of going to like the party or seeing the boys the thought of even going on lunch like lunch oh my god i only went to school a girl's school but yeah oh my god you poor poor yeah yeah yeah that's more exciting because whenever we had a party it was like i would literally get butterflies from the monday waiting till like whenever it was, the Friday. Oh my God, we used to call them hops. All we would talk about was that. The school disco.
Starting point is 00:27:11 We used to call them hops. And then when we got to school, I remember we got to see New Scotland, what they were called. But we had like, there was like a club that was like, oh no, we would go to London clubbing quite a lot. Terrible business. Yeah, so did we. Libertine was the, Libertine Drury?
Starting point is 00:27:25 Where did I go? I was going to say, maybe we would have been in similar places. No, we didn't. Libertine Drury, there was another one. We went to that place that's still around now. Maddox we went to. I went to Maddox. We went to, what's that place above Jack's?
Starting point is 00:27:42 Above Jack's? Embargo's? Oh yeah, there. I didn't go there until i left school but like it's because we would go out with boys that were like very like loved the mayfair club scene and then they wanted to have a table with all the champagne what are these like sexy yes it was a very sheltered introduction to what clubbing actually is and i really don't like that whole mayfair scene now you know me i love her i love her infernos or a chelsea lodge i'm sorry guys she needs to go if there's an inferno thing honestly everyone have you ever been no but i've i actually have been with the sticky four but it's disgusting yeah it is but it's just so not snobby and everyone's there's just there to have a good
