Hello everyone, I'm Jamie Lang. Hello everyone, I'm Sophie Abu. She just copied me. And this is our brand new podcast, Nearlyweds, which is about us. Getting married? Yeah. No, no, no, no. That makes it sound really narcissistic. It's not about us getting married.

It's basically about the process because I don't know about anyone out there, but we're finding it slightly stressful. Oh, listen, speak for yourself. I find this a breeze. I find it a breeze. Because you're doing zero of the hard work. Oh my, are you kidding me? No, you're not doing anything. I'm doing loads of the work. No, you're not. Okay, yeah, I am. Listen, this is all going to be in the podcast. I booked flights to go and look at the venue. No, you didn't. Your PA, Freya, did. Doesn't matter. Shout out to Freya. Yeah, okay, whatever. But through degrees of separation, it was me.

No, no, Jamie. Okay. Anyway, the point of the podcast is Sophie and I got engaged. It's very exciting. And we now realise how incredibly stressful it is to get married. And we're thinking, surely everyone else is in the same boat as us. We're really hoping that you are. Oh, we have to think about who we invite.

Wedding dresses. You have to think about wedding dresses? Yeah. I didn't know that. Well, I'm worried you're going to pick the wrong one. You keep saying this and it's really unacceptable. We have to worry about who are going to be best men. Bridesmaids, speeches, planning, venue, hen-doos, stag-doos. It's making me stressed thinking about it.

We have to worry about food, tablescaping. Tablescaping? Invitations. Sorry, have to worry about food. Tablescaping. Tablescaping? Invitations. Sorry, what's tablescaping? Tablescaping? Have I made that up? You just have made that up. No, no, no.

What's it called? I don't know. Listen, everyone. Hopefully you enjoy this. We're going to be documenting everything. Hopefully the process is going to be fun, interesting. Hopefully we won't fight, but I think we will. And most importantly importantly we're going

to be authentic but also to everyone else who's getting married out there learn from our mistakes because i think we're going to make a lot don't speak too soon okay sorry we're not going to make any mistakes so you're just going to enjoy listening to us talking about getting married and that's what's going to happen we We're launching very soon. We're very excited about it. Nearlyweds coming to cinemas. It's not coming to cinemas. It's coming to your ears very soon. We're getting married. We're going to probably fuck up along the way.
