Guys, it's dilemma day.
We have some juicy stuff coming up.
My dream guy has a belly button fetish.
What's he doing with the belly button?
It's not really much to play with it.
Is he putting his finger in there?
Is he licking it?
What's wrong with a little asshole, Fidel?
Let's bring it back to the basics.
We're going to attract weighty to any belly button fetish people.
I'm excited to be back in London all.
I'm excited to help me back.
It's so nice to be back.
Mind you, it does feel like...
It feels like whenever.
I see you like no time, we literally go, no time has passed.
It feels like you were here two weeks ago.
Literally feels like I was here two weeks ago.
So what are your plans whilst you're in London?
What am I doing when I'm here?
I'm actually, I have a wedding this weekend.
Of course.
Tomy's getting married.
I'm very excited.
Do you need two outfits for that?
Yeah, she's got illegal on the Friday, legal ceremony.
And then we're going to Mr. Chowell's for dinner, which is really fun and nights forage.
And then her big wedding day parties on Saturday.
And where's that?
Old Sessions House and East London.
Oh, fun.
It'll be really fun.
I'm really looking forward to it.
So that's this weekend.
Then I'm going to Soho Farmhouse for my dad's birthday.
God, you've got a lovely little.
And we've got like work things on.
I've got a few, like we're going to a few, a couple of events.
We've got some podcast recordings.
We've got.
We're going to go to Sof's tomorrow.
We're going to go to Sof's tomorrow for some lunch.
Yeah.
We hang out with Ziggy.
We've got a fun few weeks in store.
We do.
I'm trying to like, I love coming to London and just trying to get like utilise as much
possible.
I know. I feel like I want to see everyone. I feel like it's also never enough time.
You're so nip into Zara. I'm also desperate to go like, I want to do a spot of shopping.
I want to nip into Zara and I want to go into skims. I want to like, I'm going to mooch around selfridges and just like, just moot. Just lap up the Londonness.
Lap it up. Okay. Dilemma one, the first dilemma that we're going to do is called London wedding advice.
Ready? Okay. Hi girls. Longtime listener here with all the recent talk about how much you both love London.
Oh my God. We need to shut up. We need to shut up.
That's really embarrassing.
I thought I reached out for some advice because I'm actually getting married in London very soon.
I'm so jealous.
Congratulations.
You're living out our dream.
We're not from London, but me and my fiancé love London, especially Chelsea.
Which is why I've decided to get married that.
Sorry, 10 out of 10 decision.
10 out of 10 decision.
It's black tie, so chic, but I want the vibes to be fun, but quite chilled.
Fair.
I really want our family and friends to experience London properly,
and I hopefully fall in love with it as much as we have.
have, oh my gosh, girls after our own hearts.
You both know the area so well.
I would love some recommendations or tips for making the whole weekend really special for ourselves and our family.
Lots of love, Danny.
P.S., here's a pick of us attached.
I thought you might enjoy knowing our wedding is at Chelsea Old Town Hall and then the orange pub.
Okay, firstly, I need to see a picture of Danny.
I love the orange.
Gorgeous couple.
I'm so excited for you.
Oh my God, his shoes are matching.
I heard green.
Oh my God, I didn't even notice.
I love.
They look gorgeous.
how fun. I think they're going to have the best day ever.
You really are.
If we stay near where you're getting married in Pemlico, right?
Let's say they're getting married on Saturday morning.
They're coming into London.
Friday morning.
They're getting the train down and they're coming Friday morning.
So I would check into the hotel.
I'd then stroll down the King's Road.
Stroll down the King's Road.
Stroll down the King's Road.
They'd pop into Gales on the corner near the fire station and I would get a coffee and then I would
keep strolling, right?
Actually, no better yet.
Wait for your coffee and your cusson and go to the George Cafe, the coffee bread, olive oil cafe.
Is this new? I don't know about it.
Oh, I don't know because you don't live here anymore.
You can tell me.
They do the best pan of chocolate as I've ever had.
Oh, you know. Wow, okay.
They're many.
Oh, my God, perfect.
Tim, they're so good. The coffee's delicious.
Wow.
It's so good.
I want to go with you.
So maybe you should.
She's like going to cry.
I want to go with you.
Maybe you're right, get the coffee from Gales stroll down the Kings Road.
Yeah, because then you're like halfway.
It's a nice point.
And then you can go stroll down.
You can like also the Zara in Chelsea is one of the best Zaras.
I highly recommend browsing that particular Zara, Duke York Square.
And if you're doing this on a Saturday morning, by the way, you could go to.
Scallop, Scallop.
My brother, there's a Chelsea market, which is phenomenal and also just nice to walk around and have like a bite to eat or a coffee.
My brother has a stool there called Scallops Scallops and it's so good.
It's so good guys.
It's a nice little like bite if you're not wanting a full meal that I'm going to stop plugging that.
And it's just good vibes around that.
It's good vibes.
I love it.
I love the Chelsea Market.
And then you could stroll up.
Pavilion Road.
Gorgeous.
You could have some breakfast or some lunch wherever the time is taking you up in Granger.
Yeah.
The eggs are amazing.
Salads are great.
Walk around the old street.
just, you know,
sort of lather up
that London living vibes.
I will say not to disappoint you.
Chelsea's gorgeous,
but there's not as much going on
in terms of like sexy night owl.
No, no, it's not that vibe.
But if you do want to go for a nice place...
It's a daytime mooch.
There is a few pubs and restaurants
I'm going to recommend
just off the Kings Road, off the bat.
Pigs here, fantastic pub.
Great for just drinks.
Fantastic food.
Great for a quiz night on Tuesday.
I think they do.
Oh, I like that.
Cadogan Arms, good, a bit more commercialised.
There's a bit more of you, like, I feel like the people, like that schooner,
a person's going to be there with the beer.
Like, it's going to be a bit more on that, like, made-in-chelsea vibe.
You're going to bump into someone from the current cast.
Yeah.
You are.
But then opposite, that is something called the Chelsea Grill, which is so a really nice restaurant,
which is just, like, steaks.
And, like, there is some fish and other stuff.
It's fantastic.
White tablecloths.
Sexy candlelit vibes.
Just a really good steak or decides, that kind of thing.
But check out their menu.
Do you have other stuff?
Bataga at the other end of the king
Like back full and way in the Kings Road
Really good really good
Hard to get in so I recommend booking in advance
But Tagga's great I also think the surprise in Chelsea's
A really nice pubs surprise really nice
Really like drinks there
Builders arms quite nice not so bad
I've got so many happy memories at the builder's arms
Oh
Comes my storm days that was like our like one of our locals
We used to have many a
A pint down there
Is there any like sexy
Oh my God
At Sloan for dinner
God, go there.
And their bar is so cool.
It's like the hotel coffee.
It's really sexy.
It's sexy.
I haven't been there in ages.
I went there when it first open.
That's a sexy date night.
They actually also do a really nice brunch.
You could go there on the weekend.
I haven't been there for dinner.
I've only been there.
I've only been for dinner.
Like a brunch breakfast.
Gorgeous.
God, I feel like I could really get into that there.
Just keep on triming about the King's Road in Chelsea.
What else?
I was like, it's not much.
And I'm just like, what a phenomenal itinerary and this.
Thank you.
I don't know what I'll be doing this week.
There's a new restaurant on Sloan's opposite.
Martina, I'm desperate to try.
Can we do?
I dinner there maybe.
Yes.
I really want to try it.
Let's try go there.
That's what I want to do.
Okay.
I want to get dressed up.
I want to go there.
Oh no, can we go to the Pembroke?
No, we'll go to the Pembroke.
I just want to get drunk.
I'll go anywhere.
I'll just want to go out with you, Tim.
We need to go and have a drink and have a party.
Yeah.
It's needed.
Blow out the old pipes.
I need to blow them out.
Yeah.
Okay, well, honestly, you have the best wedding.
I'm so excited to be.
I think it's going to be the best day ever
and you've made a fantastic choice there with the orange.
Like, I love that pub.
I agree.
I love it too.
And you look like the most divine couple.
You really do.
Enjoy it.
So, yeah.
We really love it when you guys follow up and let us know
what you end up doing.
So please let us know, firstly, how the wedding goes.
If you go to any of the places we recommend,
send in photos.
We would love to see how you spent the lead up to the wedding
and enjoy your time in London, I hope.
And also, like, you are living out one of our fantasies.
a London wedding. So please show us pictures of the wedding as well. I really need to know.
Yeah. And obviously this is great for Girlie's other people doing this. I forget London's like a
destination. I forget. For people to come to get married. Do you know what I mean? Yeah, yeah, I do.
I do. And it's just such a vibe. Like it's so cool. Such a vibe. And also like if you didn't know
it very well, it could look like such a big intimidating place. It'd be like... All the more magic as well
though sometimes. Yeah, all the more magic. You will have the best time. You have to. It's London.
Yeah, you will.
All right. It's your turn.
Okay, I've got a friendship dilemma.
Hey Wednesdays. I'm 27 single and I'm living my best life in Manchester.
In the first half of my 20s, I was in a relationship.
So now that that's over, I want to have fun and make as many memories as I can.
A few months ago, I met up with my oldest friend.
Let's call her Susie, one of those two-hour cat shops where you tell each other everything.
I told her details about the guy I've been seeing that I would genuinely not repeat to anyone else.
Fast forward three weeks at a birthday dinner at Susie.
house. Her boyfriend is across the table, drink in hand, telling a funny joke about me.
It was word for word from my conversation with Susie to a table of eight people, half of whom I've met.
I didn't say anything and I just laughed and I went home and actually felt quite betrayed by Susie.
And now I've started noticing it everywhere. And other friend's husband made a joke at brunch
that only landed if you knew something I'd told her in confidence. So now I've stopped telling people
about my love life completely in Capitals. I now give my friend's career updates and whether
the reports, all the boring stuff. I have a whole inner life that's been downgraded to small talk
because I can't work out how to say, please stop using me as pillow talk without them deciding
that I don't like their boyfriend. Do I say something and risk the friendship? Or do I accept that
the moment a friend gets a partner, everything I say comes with a plus one. Please help. Yeah, I don't think
that would be really nasty if anyone was intentionally like making a joke about her and her love life.
Yeah. I'm sure it's said I would have hoped in like a slightly tongue and cheek like loll. And they think that
they're laughing with you. They think that they're laughing with her because she's also laughing along too.
Yes. I think she would, if it's obviously upsetting her and then she's just stopped diving into anything with her love life, which I'm sure would be really lonely if you're just not talking about what's happening in your life.
You're going to end up probably distancing yourself more with your friends if you're literally just talking about the weather and career updates.
Yeah.
Like you're going to, like that's not fun for anyone.
No.
So I would have the honest conversation and I would just say that I feel a bit sad how everything's been repeat.
and laughed at. And I also think if you were wanting to tell your friends something really
personal that you don't want to go back to their partner, I sometimes think you have to spell it out.
Yeah. And you could just be like, hey, I'm telling you this. And it's, I feel a certain type of way about it.
And I would really, you know, respect you to not repeat anyone or your partner because I'm telling you
this in confidence. And I don't want it to get out to a further group, a wider group. Yeah.
And I think sometimes things need to be spelled out a bit because otherwise people like, I'm guilty of it.
I'm sure you are too. Like you can actually repeat things to your partner who you live with.
And then like, you tell them about your day, tell them what's going on with your friends.
But if you're being told to not say something, I think that they've got to respect that as your friend.
And you've got to make yourself clear that it's upset you.
Yeah, 100%.
And they won't be meaning to, like, be laughing at you, as we said, like, it will literally be like they're just having a conversation.
Like, oh my God, a lot, that's so funny.
Like, they just won't think that it's like that.
But obviously for you, it maybe feels sensitive and embarrassing.
Yeah.
But they're not, which is a good thing that they're not looking at it like that because it isn't.
maybe you should just be like
to one of your other friends
like I don't know if it's just me
but why is everyone sudden
like is any of your other friends single
like is this happening to you too
like say to your other friends
single like yeah that's a good point
yeah you can find everything that you're saying
about your love life is it is it being made out of a joke
am I just being sensitive to it
you could confide in your single friends
because they might be feeling the same way actually
or a friend that hasn't done it to you
it still might be in a relationship
yeah good point and just see
because you might it might just be bad luck
for this happened twice and it might not ever happen again.
Yeah, true.
And then the next time you say something,
because sometimes these things can cause a bit more drama than it's worth.
So like the next time you're going to want to say something,
be like, can you just like not tell anyone about this?
Because I don't want it to become a big deal.
Yeah.
Because you can't keep stuff like this in.
And actually, the more you don't tell people stuff,
I do think then it becomes a bigger deal in terms of like,
oh my God, you went on a date.
You didn't tell me why?
Why are you keeping that secret?
Then it feels like you're being in cagey about your dating life.
Agreed.
This is a difficult one.
This is a hard one because then things could come out and then it's like, oh, you didn't tell me that.
And then people feel like they're almost like...
You get upset when people don't taste.
You get upset.
You want to be involved.
And I understand that too.
I think that we just need to confine in the other friends, see what they have to say about it.
And then actually, if they have, if it happens again and they bring it up again and be like, guys, please stop because you're embarrassing me.
It's made me not telling me about my dating life and I don't want to feel insecure.
But it also doesn't have to be this big computational conversation.
where you have to sit someone down.
Like, if it's brought up again, you could be like, actually, like, I don't find it funny.
It's making me feel, yeah.
I already feel a bit embarrassed about it.
Yeah.
I need support.
I don't want to laugh at this.
No.
But, like, say it in, like, a semi-joke way, like, please, guys, like, I need support.
I don't need to be laughed at because it's making me, like, feel embarrassed about dating.
And I need more confidence.
Because it's hard enough out there.
Fucking tough out there.
I also think it's, like, healthy to, like, express how you're feeling.
And not, like, just hide this in.
Like, the fact that you've written, like, you have this whole.
a life somewhere. Like that's really sad. And it shouldn't, like, you should have your friends there
to talk about things. You should and you need it. It's so important. And you'll actually, I think if you
don't say something, you'll probably end up resenting them at some point. Yeah. Because you feel like
you just can't talk to them about anything or that they're just laughing at you when you do.
Yeah. I feel like I would just be like upset the whole time and life's too short. You shouldn't
know. I know someone that's single that someone is like, I don't want to tell people even if I go on a
date because it feels like it's such a big deal. And I was like, oh my God, you've been on a date.
Yeah. I've had that feeling a bit at times. I don't know. I've had that feeling a bit at
and then like everyone wants, like, when I...
People are excited because when they're in relationships,
they don't date anymore.
Yeah, I get it.
I do get it.
Like, oh my God, I want to know everything.
Like, I fucking love hearing, like, someone writing into me
telling me about that dating life.
I lap it up.
So when it's your friend, you're like, oh my God, I need to know every detail.
Yeah, yeah, I agree.
But then I will say the novelty of that will wear off.
Like, the more dates you go on, they'll be like, oh, so another, another date.
How is that?
And people will give less of a shit.
Yeah, they will, yeah.
It's well, at the beginning, I feel it's more exciting.
100%.
Hey, good luck.
Love you so much. You're going to be fine.
You're going to be so fine. Good luck. And I hope you have that conversation. Let us know, actually,
right into us. Keep us posted.
Okay, dating dilemma. Hi, Melissa and Roobes. Everyone's nicknaming you, which I love.
I like the Roobes. I'm not going to lie. It makes me feel like we're kind of like connected.
I have been watching the podcast for ages now and I love that Ruby is now on board. You're doing amazing, sweetie.
Okay, so I have a dilemma. I've been dating a gorgeous guy. Wow.
See, we're excited.
I mean, he's going to go to Skype for a couple months now
and it's been fantastic.
He's been really fun to be around
and I have high hopes for us moving forward.
However, it's now become evident
that he has a belly button fetter.
Oh my God, I wasn't expecting that.
Not really took a turn.
And whenever he comes near it,
it ruins the mood completely.
I would hate someone going in my belly button.
Or leave it alone.
Leave, like, no.
I'd hate that.
I have a particular phobia about belly buttons.
they creep me out, not surprised.
It's giving alien.
It's giving like that's not, like, almost meant to be there.
Well, it's not really.
It was left over from when we were in the womb.
Should I run for the hills?
Is this weird loves and kisses anonymous?
I guess it depends, like, how much he's really going for her.
What's he doing with him?
But, like, what's there?
It's not really much to play.
Is he putting his finger in there?
Is he licking it?
What's wrong with a little asshole, Fedor?
let's bring it back to the basics what is going on
I've never heard of a belly button some fetish
I had an Instagram called Melissa Ballin's
Melissa Tassin's belly button once
Can I actually say Melissa actually has
No I don't I really don't
Maybe she has it you have a nice torso
Like a nice like that belly button's weird
It's like any with a little like sort of button in the middle of it
No it's cute
I've always thought you like I don't think it's that unusual
but it's not that nice like it's not a full on any
We're going to attract a way to any belly button fetish people
I don't think you should run for the hills
Yeah I agree
Because if he's gorgeous and he's fun
And he seems like you seem like you really like him
And there's probably things about him that are great
I would just be like can you just not touch that
Yeah I've got a phobia of my belly button being touched
And you have a fetish for it
Yeah maybe it won't work
It's like having a foot fetish
And then someone like not liking their feet being touched
It might not work
And it might just run its course
But I would say because you like him
and he's obviously a great guy in other aspects.
I would say, I would not just give up on this.
I would say, look, I'm not that comfortable with it.
And it makes me feel funny.
I think just set your boundary and see what he says.
This is quite a normal thing for someone not to like.
I agree.
If it's your dream guy, I'm just literally imagining Clark Kent,
like with a belly bum fat, all I can think about.
I think we need to just communicate.
Let's bring it back to the basics.
No, don't like that.
Please don't do it.
And then if he doesn't, if he's not going to work for him sexually and, you know, he needs that void feeling, then I'll find someone else.
And then it's not the guy for you.
It's not your dream guy because he likes belly buns.
Agreed.
Good advice, Tim.
Yeah.
Thanks.
Okay, love you.
That's the end of the podcast.
