Starting point is 00:00:00 Hey Tiny's, welcome back to Wednesdays coming up. I would really love an apology for Alex out from Alex Cooper. Are they playing into it with one another? She took off her shoes, stepped in the sick, and then walked off down the road barefoot. And I remember just thinking, when is this going to happen to me? What? Did he? Shut the phone up.
Starting point is 00:00:22 Hey. Hey. So you know last week we were talking about this Mason-Mount thing, how you went on a date with him and blah, blah, blah. Yeah. And I was like, oh, he's not actually an England player and all this stuff. Yeah, Toby told us that. I told you that. I was then talking to Toby and his brother about it after us, and I was like, they didn't play for England.
Starting point is 00:00:42 They were like, what? And I was like, wait, hold on. What? And they were like, no, he did play for England. And I was like, I swear someone told me that actually he wasn't that, that good. And he didn't play for England. And they were like, no. And I fully created this whole thing in my brain.
Starting point is 00:01:00 that I said to you last week, which is just completely not true. And I've just made the whole thing up. And I was like, I swear someone don't mean. They were like, no, I think the whole thing was that we thought he played in the Euros or the World League or something. I got confused with which one he played in. The World League. What's the World League? Premier League.
Starting point is 00:01:22 We're doing it again. The World League. We've made that up. The World Cup. Yeah, yeah. I see what you're saying. Tournament. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:01:29 And I think. I think I basically just got myself in a bit of a twist about which one was which, and I was then corrected by Toby about which one he actually did play in at the time that we were talking about, this all happened. And somewhere along the way, I've created this whole thing in my brain that actually he's like not that I get at football and never play for the country. So that's not true. I was down to myself for a second. Okay, we'll just go clarify that he did play for England and he was a good, at one point, a good player. I hope he still is. Okay, Mason, I'm sure you're fantastic.
Starting point is 00:02:03 I can imagine because he's really retired. Okay, that's good to know. I was doubting myself for a second. I thought I did. Yeah, you dated like some sort of second grade footballer. That would have been a bit shit, really. No, she's only top tier for our Tim. Top tier for Timmy.
Starting point is 00:02:20 That arrives. Only the best. Okay, loll. God, what time, Mason. You would never have dated Tim unless he played for England anyway, would you? Just be like, what's the point in dating a footballer that's just like, de-list? I always think this. But then I'm like, I've never, I've never, I've never dated a footballer.
Starting point is 00:02:40 So I can't really. The mount. That's true. A lot of people love dating footballers, right? So I guess if that was like your cup of tea, you would want to make sure that you were dating the best at the best, naturally. Yeah, you would. You would. I know some people that just like love a footballer.
Starting point is 00:02:59 They do, and then they date footballer from footballer. But like, I guess I used to say their own, everyone's got a type. But I think dating an athlete, like a professional, like actually like dating would be tough. What's worse, an athlete or an actor? Definitely an actor. It's obviously she good to be dating an actor, but act is tough. Unless they're purely action, like Jason Statham vibes. There's no romance going on in his films.
Starting point is 00:03:24 That's okay. We can deal with that. Have you watched the new season of The Gentleman that's just come out? Yeah. Yeah. So he's my new celebrity craft, Theo James. Oh my God, he's fitted his season than he's ever been. He's the fittest thing I've ever seen in my life. I couldn't agree more.
Starting point is 00:03:42 What I will say is, first season, all I could see was him sniffing poo up his nose from the end of the movie. I had a real problem trying to like park that. I'm over it now. Okay, you're over it now. And now I just see sex. I just see sex. I'm like, I look at him and I'm like, you are the sexiest thing. He is so hot
Starting point is 00:04:01 How do you feel about Maya Jammer being in it? I just thought I saw Love Island and I saw ITV I need some time to pass and I'll get over that too because she is actually great in it I was watching it with Gab who doesn't know who Maya Jama is nor ITV
Starting point is 00:04:16 and I was like sorry I was like is that Maya Jama He was like What? I was like What? And then he was like Who's Maya Danner? And I was like no no
Starting point is 00:04:27 Maya Jama but he was like, she's hot. I was like, she is hot. She looked great. So hot. It's really a breakthrough for her career. Like, it's so amazing. Like, really incredible that she's done that.
Starting point is 00:04:40 And like, she deserves it because like she's obviously a great actor. But like, I just, tonight is all that was going on in my head for a really long time. I was like, shit. It's like when you see Daniel Craig, right, like he's never not going to be James Bond to me. Like, I've identified him as James Bond. I think it's a similar. similar thing with someone that's so on our screens for so long that's quite iconic. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:05:04 That we've had for such a long time. Like it's really hard to break her out of that character and it's so different. I'm surprised she's done it. She's done it for as long, Love Island, because it does stereotype you. This is like prime example. It's like I look at her as the Love Island host. Oh, so she is good at it. I don't know what episode I'm on.
Starting point is 00:05:22 How many of you watched? I've finished it. Okay, fine. So I got to the part where he's proposed to the Italian. Allian girl. Oh, okay. Have you got further? No, that's the last episode.
Starting point is 00:05:33 Oh my God. Okay. I just love Effie Stone and so much. I know. Effie Stone from Skins. I know, Susie Glass. I was like, Blast for me.
Starting point is 00:05:45 Blast for me. I was like, that is like a rite of passage growing up in the UK. Who were you, Freddie or Cook? You were Freddie, probably. I was Freddie, but now I'm older. I'm more cook. He was hot. were both hot. She used to get with them both.
Starting point is 00:06:00 I used to be so jealous. She was just, it was the coolest program. It was just so, like, naughty. Like, I remember watching it thinking, like, they're so naughty. This is the problem with the Brits, right? And I don't think Americans do this
Starting point is 00:06:14 to their younger generation. Like, when they have a main character in a TV program, Hannah Montana, happy go lucky, really fun, really friendly, like, smiley, like polite to her parents, like, whatever. F. You still.
Starting point is 00:06:28 And Stonen and all these other things that we used to watch, like depression was cool, doing drugs and smoking from a young age was cool, missing school was cool. Like all this stuff sort of like romanticised like darkness in a weird way. And like I kind of was like really want to have like shit relationship with my parents right now so I can be like Effie. Why do you think I had my goth era? It was all stemmed from them. That carried on waiting on into adult life. I just wanted to be like effie stones from skin. I also thought like the chip nail polish, like the, you know, the broken tights.
Starting point is 00:07:05 Not getting on with anyone. I thought, perfect. Having a little bit of vomit in your hair. Perfect. Oh, so cool. Do you remember she bombed on her shoes and then she took off her shoes, stepped in the sick and put her shoes in the bin and then walked off down the road barefoot. And I remember just thinking, when is this going to happen to me? I need to vomit on my shoes.
Starting point is 00:07:26 How do I make this happen for me? It's you saying you wish you'd have a complicated relationship with your parents. I remember watching that and thinking the same. I was like, today's going to have to be the day. I'm going to have to make things complicated. Anything to be like her. It's not like when you're dating a boy being like, yeah, I've just really got all this trauma and I'd be like, literally have nothing.
Starting point is 00:07:54 Someone give me something. Someone give me something. Literally. It just was really bad. for us, like really not good. However, we're out the other side, and I can just appreciate Effie for what she was. And now she is Susie Lass.
Starting point is 00:08:09 She fucking nails the role. Like, there was no one better for this role. I agree. It was made for her. You know what I saw also yesterday, and I've written this down because I want to talk to you about it, this really cute podcast, I think it's Australian or American. And it's called like Two Hot Girls.
Starting point is 00:08:25 I can't remember the name. You would have heard of them. It's a really famous podcast. Two broke chicks. I found them on your page. It's Alex. Sit there, Sydney. Oh, cool. They were talking about all this millennial stuff coming back. Like the millennial quiff. Have you seen this?
Starting point is 00:08:44 And when I say the millennial quiff. You don't know what I'm talking about. I don't know if I do. Millennial quiff. Stop, right. It's this. Half up, half down. Then we're going to back comb it. Okay. Come on, Tim. And it's sort of like, I can't even like, like,
Starting point is 00:09:00 this. Oh, and I'm going to back home that. Yeah, yeah, I know. Now that you've given me a visual, I rocked it many a time. Back in fashion. But I didn't know how the name.
Starting point is 00:09:10 Okay. That's back in fashion. Which is just so weird to me because I'm like, now I'm doing wardrobe clear outs, right? Because I'm moving house. Melissa's wardrobe. Can I just caveat this with, right? I would occasionally try and come round.
Starting point is 00:09:23 And I would be like, let's have a sort out. Let's have a clear out. And we would look at her and she'd be like, yeah, sure, let's do it. We'll do it. And then we'll get to like the denim section, right? She's got 9,000 pairs of jeans, all in the same wash. And she loves the H&M and Zara ones, but she's got a million of them, right? So I'll be like, oh, should we get rid of four of them? But then she'll then try them all on and give me a spiel on why that pair must stay. And I'm like, this is for you, babe. Like, you don't need to, you don't need to persuade me on why you should keep them. But like, you might feel better by getting rid of like one out of the four pairs that all look the same. you're not wronged him. But she's having a clear-out because she's moving. There needs to be a big clear-out. I also really struggle to do these things by myself
Starting point is 00:10:10 because even when someone's there, I'm trying to convince them why I need to keep stuff. But like if I'm alone, I'm keeping it all. No, then there's no... There's no help. But now I'm like, right, these clear-outs of going, yeah, never going to wear that again. That was in fashion like three years ago.
Starting point is 00:10:25 That's never coming back. I'm like, everything's coming back now. And also, like, the things that we probably would have wore, six years ago is going to come back in fashion probably in the next two years, right? I wonder if the Stuart Whitesman over the knee boots is going to come back in fashion.
Starting point is 00:10:38 I've kept those bad boys just in case because when they come back in fashion they'll be like... I'm ready. Yeah, they will. And you know what? I'm so thrilled. I didn't get rid of any of my Rayband sunglasses because they went out of fashion and now look straight back in fashion. Yeah, they are.
Starting point is 00:10:54 Actually, all those big aviators sort of shapes they're back in. They are. So you just can't get rid of anything these days, guys. I think if you spend a little bit more money on something or something looks quite iconic, keep it. Yeah. I'm going to get one of those suction things, right?
Starting point is 00:11:09 You know, and it takes all the air out of it. And they condense down. Oh, that's a really good idea. It's good for traveling. As in put your stuff in the suction bags. Yeah. And just maybe keep things under the bed that I think are going to come back in fashion in like 10 years time.
Starting point is 00:11:23 It's a really good way to store things because it's not bulky. And it's like you can just jam pack everything. And I don't think they get damaged. that either. I think that it maintains... Because there's no air in it, right? So I don't think it can get damaged. Yeah. Okay, me and me really really need to talk about this because we've been holding off chatting about it in depth because we wanted to say it for the pop and we were on FaceTime the other day. We've just finished El Meet's World, the show on Netflix about Alex Earl and her whole family and it's so good.
Starting point is 00:11:54 Wait, have you finished it? Wait. Is you finished? I haven't finished. I haven't finished. Fuck. I haven't finished it. I haven't finished it in like two days.
Starting point is 00:12:02 I have one more episode to go. But I've watched the majority of it. God, I have so much. Is it groundbreaking the end? Kind of. But then also, like, now what's going on on on social media is crazy. Crazy with Alex Cooper drama. Wow.
Starting point is 00:12:16 Is that what you're talking about? There's two parts of this whole thing. Firstly, how much do we love Alex at all? I love her. I don't know why I just like her even more after this TV show. So likable. So relatable. Do you know what my first thought was after watching her?
Starting point is 00:12:29 I was like, I wish she was coming on your head and do. Like, how much fun would she be? Oh my God. I want Alex with us. Like, can't she be our friend too? And Ashton. I want them all. And that other little Sally, what cutie pie. I'm like. Sally Carson. She's so smiley and happy to be there. Just on the payroll. Just literally paid to BMA. I'm so funny. I love it. Also. There was like no shame around that either. She was like, yeah. I'm an effow friend. I was like, that's so brilliantly worded. She was great. She's so cute. I also thought the mom was great. I would like be friends with the mum do. I love the mom. Stepmom has a really tough situation and oh my god right. The part when she's looking around the house, okay, with her stepmom and her dad. When she then cried. Yes, but before that she came to them and was like, please don't. I feel uncomfortable about the video. Yeah, that you posted wasn't good. And then like
Starting point is 00:13:28 in the following app or later on in that app, the stepmom was like, I really didn't appreciate being like shouted at, screamed at. and people are going, she literally had the most chill conversation with you. Me and you know this from filming, that there probably would have been a whole thing cut of Alex freaking out screaming. And then, because I'm assuming Alex is like a producer on it, so she probably would have been like, no, I need to redo that scene. So then the stepmom's referring to something that was never put on camera.
Starting point is 00:13:54 I'm assuming that's what happened, because otherwise the stepmom does kind of look a little bit like she's making shit out, which I'm sure she wouldn't. Because Alex was like so apologetic. So I was like, why is she apologising? something that didn't happen, it must have happened, they just didn't include it in the dock. I agree. They also wouldn't have been able to air Ashley saying, this is the stepmom, you screamed
Starting point is 00:14:14 it shouted at me if she didn't, because production would be like, it doesn't make sense, so we can't even use, it's unusable. Like I've said things on camera before, but because that initial part of that conversation hasn't been used, they're almost like, we can't use your reaction. So it's like that definitely, that aggressive or like confronting conversation would have happened. Yes, yes, 100%. It's funny having done television actually because you look at these situations differently
Starting point is 00:14:41 and you suddenly picture the scene with like all the cameramen, all the producers and you know that they've like, you can tell what questions have been highly produced and what they've been like made to say to some extent. But they've got to make a show. A hundred percent. I mean, it was a really good show. I loved it. I thought it was a really good balance of like drama, like cute family time.
Starting point is 00:15:02 I think having those kids like these. kids like the young siblings in there. Thomas. Oh my god what a character. It's so cute. The whole thing is just really well done. Also Penelope and Isabel. She said one of them was like, oh I've got to do some content now. She's 10.
Starting point is 00:15:17 And I was like, what? And this is my outfit, Brandy male, her pants. I'm like, oh my God. When I was 10, I was like making fake music videos in my room with my like Apple Mac thing and like putting like a background on. Same. Williams, Lily Allen. Will Young.
Starting point is 00:15:36 Who else? He commented on our video. Love Will. What? Did he? He commented on our video. Shut up. We've pinned it.
Starting point is 00:15:49 It's so great. I couldn't believe I sent it to my mom going, Will loves us. My mom will die. Well. He's obsessed with him. Oh my God. Yeah, we've got it to send it to your mom.
Starting point is 00:15:59 Wow. Thanks for the love, guys. I was like, sorry. We're famous. We're famous. Oh my God. Will now newsy we are. That's.
Starting point is 00:16:06 Oh, yeah. Absolutely mental. So good. Right, who can we talk about to see if they'll comment? Alex, please. Because we're your number one fans over here. Also, really love, Ashton. I think Ashton's cool.
Starting point is 00:16:17 Ashton reminds me of you. She reminds me of my family friend, Alex, weirdly enough. Really? She's just quite... At all. She gives me Ruby 2020-21 vibes. Little bit Gothic. It's a good thing.
Starting point is 00:16:34 Ruby 2021. I don't know if anyone wants to be Ruby. 2021. Stop. She was a cool girl. She's just, you know what it is. She's quite cool.
Starting point is 00:16:42 Like, she's just quite, like, happy to be there. Like, she's just fun. Doesn't take any shit either. It's clearly Alex's world
Starting point is 00:16:51 and everyone else is living in it, which is fine. Yeah. Because, like, there's always that dynamic in, like, a lot of families. But Ashton is just,
Starting point is 00:16:58 like, so chill. And, like, doesn't get jealous, like, so comfortable in her own skin, just really rate her. Because that's like probably quite hard having a sister that's like that in the lime night and successful.
Starting point is 00:17:13 And like especially when the dad like clearly just like really didn't give a fuck about all her meetings and stuff. I was like, that's not good. Obviously having four girls, I can't even imagine as a dad. That's quite intense. He runs an operation, I find. He does run an operation. I was also saying to you the other day, I was like, I don't know if I can quite tell. If he's like being serious about certain things or if he even cares, it's like this.
Starting point is 00:17:42 Yeah, it's all quite static and unemotional. Yeah. I feel that too. I feel like it, he's almost running it like as a business. But I still like him. Like it's not, he's likable. So like him. I really like him.
Starting point is 00:17:56 I love it that he got Alex like the tips for Christmas. And what did he get her for Christmas, the oranges? I was like, that was funny. And he was like, not everyone gets my humor. And I was like, I get it. I get it. The Brits, the Brits got it. That's just not really American sense of humor, I guess. I will say, I do feel like they are so American. Like, Alex L is the American girl. She's the American girl. Like, she should be, like, the American doll Barbie. Like, that should be her.
Starting point is 00:18:23 Like, she looks like an American living doll. And, like, the way she lives her life is, like, so American. Like, everything about it. It's, like, stereotypical, but in the best way. London vibe is just so different. Like, it's just a. different vibe. And that's the only way I can describe it. He's like the cool London cool girl, like that Lila Moss girl, probably, Kate Moss's daughter. She's like the equivalent of Alex L. I would say. Yeah, you've got that whole girl gang there, which is like Olivia Neal. Lila Moss, she's the true. She's cool.
Starting point is 00:18:54 Yeah. And I feel like she's probably the same age as Alex Ler. They're probably both like 25, right? Which is crazy. I know. I know. But this is not even 30. yeah though. I'm 31. It's coming up thick and fast. Let me tell you. I've got it. I'm clock watching that shit. So, so now Alex is obviously like, I'm not sure what your thoughts are. You haven't seen the end of the episode. But I'm sure you can see from social media that her and Baxter are not together obviously right now, right? I've seen the, I've seen the snippet of like, when she's, it's ended on a cliffhanger. I know how it ends. And I've also seen obviously stuff that's
Starting point is 00:19:30 circulating on social media. He's dating Lando Nauri's ex. X. I can't get over it. What a full circle moment. But like, it's kind of cool, but then also I'm like, guys, like, are you in school? Like, why are you like fucking wife swapping? It's wife swap. I know, I agree. You've seen she's done a TikTok to the same sound that Alex has a TikTok.
Starting point is 00:19:53 The whole thing, I'm like, oh. Melissa's in on the TikTok scene. Oh, God, it's what's happening on TikTok. I'm like, that's just where I get all my tea. But I'm like, you were quite cool and now you've done that. I'm not sure. Not that it makes it always any easier, but like she did break up with him. And then she did like...
Starting point is 00:20:09 I don't really get why. Do you? I don't really get it. I mean, she said like lack of intimacy and their lives are going in different directions. Like, I guess that like she was so busy. But then I also believe that you can be so busy and like want to make something work. I don't know if it's because she was like, I'm young and my career's thriving. So like...
Starting point is 00:20:27 She is so young that like she doesn't... Wiping myself up to someone or following my career. I don't know. I don't know. But, you know, that feeling when they were in Aspen and she was like, oh my God, he's here. Like, there's so many moments I just related to it. You know, like the first time you see an ex after a breakup and like you're obviously still interested and you're confused and they're there and they're in the same. And there's that heart dropping like, do I look good?
Starting point is 00:20:49 I just felt all the feels. I felt it. Me too. I felt like my ex was in the room. Okay. Oh my God. Also, how are we not speaking about Alex Cooper in this whole thing? Oh my God, I don't know how we've not spoken about Alex Cooper.
Starting point is 00:21:00 So if anyone's not seen it, Alex Cooper in this is. brought up in the Earl meets world show. So they've got this online feud. And I remember her saying she was so excited to go on that podcast, The Call Her Daddy podcast. And she felt like it was such a groundbreaking moment for her career and for her. And she went in with like the right intention and like wanted to give it everything. But then almost felt taken.
Starting point is 00:21:23 I think she just felt taken advantage of. Yeah. And like you would. For views and clicks. And then I think it's been this this feud that's gone online. I think she just felt. just felt upset from the way in which she was spoken to, treated and the way that interview went
Starting point is 00:21:38 is my impression. I would really love an apology from Alex Cooper with this whole scenario, because I think she deserves it. But then it's like, do you know if it sometimes think, like, are they playing into it with one another? I know, I do think that sometimes. I do worry.
Starting point is 00:21:55 Like, maybe there is like underlying tension, which has just been, no, she hasn't. Yeah, I wouldn't want to be Alex Cooper right now. Fuck no Okay guys We are going on to Spilling the Tea with Tim Right are you ready
Starting point is 00:22:12 Yeah Okay Hi girls I think I have the best ever Celeb spotting I was visiting London With my sister And we were leaving
Starting point is 00:22:20 Hyde Park And walking around Knightsbridge We spotted Rosie Huntington Whiteley crossing the street In front of us We kept looking around
Starting point is 00:22:29 For Jason Statum as well But we didn't see him She just looks so chic And stunning It was wearing those gorgeous Chanel ballet flats. I honestly just think she's the most fashionable celebrity out there. Her style is so timeless. Love the pod and love that Ruby is here to stay. Lots of love from Lottie. Oh my God,
Starting point is 00:22:45 Lottie. Lottie. Sweetly. Lovely. I mean, not an amazing. That's an amazing sight. What a power couple. She's just, I think I would freak out if I saw her like just she's timeless, classic chic. She's phenomenal. If anyone rich is right at her. Like, have you seen any of things? People who are rich right. I'm like, she rich is right. She is right.
Starting point is 00:23:08 She looks like wealth. If wealth, wealth in all the right way is like glossy money. Yeah, understated, old school. Oh, it's just so high end. So high. Yeah, I agree. So high. And like minimal, but like it's like her t-shirt would just always be from the row or something.
Starting point is 00:23:31 Like, it would. Yeah, of course it would. impeccable taste. Like, the house is impeccable. Jason's impeccable. Everything's impeccable. So my granny, Lassa, she's 96, and my sister, went to Calworth Park recently for afternoon tea. And Rosie Huntington Whiteley was sat behind them on, like, literally my sister was like, I couldn't tell Granny because she would have made it so obvious. But they were literally sat like right, right behind them on the table with her children. With Jason or no? I don't think, no. Jason wasn't there. And she,
Starting point is 00:24:02 She said that she just looked so, so beautiful. I was like, wow. Wow. I'm sure. They have two kids, don't they? A girl and a boy, I think. Don't know. I don't really keep up with that.
Starting point is 00:24:12 I should probably let him to it. I don't really know why I do. But, um, cute. If you guys have any celeb sightings for us, email us on Wednesdays at jampopproductions.com. Or you can DM us at Wednesday's podcast. Oh, you know what?
Starting point is 00:24:26 I would just fucking love for someone to see someone going on a date when they shouldn't or something. Same. I'd love to see what someone on a secret date. Yeah. We can be the new duemois. Yes. We really can. Okay, should I do love letter to your best day? Yes. Love letter from Mila. Hi, Melissa and Ruby. Shout out to my best friend Becky, please. She needs the recognition. Becky moved to Singapore for work two years ago, which puts us exactly seven hours apart. So when I'm having my morning coffee, she's tucked up in bed. And when she's having hers, I'm already halfway. the bottle of wine. It's chaos. We've basically never had a real-time text conversation in two years. Last month, I went through the worst breakup of my life. My ex-ended things over text three days before my birthday. Oh my God. I was an absolute mess lying on my bathroom floor at 2 a.m. UK time,
Starting point is 00:25:18 crying to my group chat. Becky was busy as it was 9 a.m. her time. And she had a huge work presentation that morning. She saw my messages on her lunch break without telling me she cancelled her afternoon in meetings and got on a 13-hour flight the same day. She landed at here at 6am, the morning of my birthday, still in work clothes, and turned up at my door with a box of my favorite donuts and a bottle of wine. She had to work from home overnight, but she says it was worth every 2 a.m. meeting. I still don't fully understand how someone flies 13 hours on 4 hours notice, but it's just who Becky is. Love you, Becky. Thank you for being spontaneous in the best way. Oh my God. So cute. Oh, my God. Actually, you know what? That means.
Starting point is 00:25:59 my eyes well. I think it's because I'm so far away. They made my eyes like to hear like that it's so lovely and like how nice. That's like a very romantic thing being a friend could ever do for someone. Like that's amazing. If Toby breaks out with me, I expect you to do that for me. I would be on the next flight home but we don't have to worry about that because we're planning a wedding. What a shit boyfriend breaking up with you right with you were too? Like, fuck sick that's so mean but then it sounds like
Starting point is 00:26:31 you've now had this better story over it like I was broken up with and then Becky flew over and turned up with my donuts and my wine and then we had the best that sounds romantic in itself
Starting point is 00:26:43 like how gorgeous is that I love that for you guys you've got this whole new chapter yeah how lovely what I will say Mila is there is some pressure on you I know to return the favour yeah
