Welcome to the Weights and Plates podcast. I am your host, Robert Santana. I am a registered dietitian, I am a strength coach, and I am a strength training and food enthusiast.
I started this podcast to kind of bring things back home, and by that I mean that exercise and nutrition advice has gotten incredibly complicated over, I don't know, the last 20 years or so,
to the point where most consumers of information regarding these topics walk away feeling as though
their whole life is a science project and they're in a controlled lab setting when they're eating
or doing their workouts. It can be very overwhelming for many.
The goal of this podcast is to educate you on nutrition and exercise in a digestible way. By
that I mean you don't need to feel as though you're living in a controlled lab setting just
to eat and work out. My goal is to share information with you that you can apply in a practical way to help you live a healthy way of life without feeling so overwhelmed.
So with that said, stay tuned.
Our first episode will be released within a week or two, and then we will release one every other week.
I will be the host of every episode, and I will bring in some guests that have relevant experiences to contribute, and hopefully you will learn something from all of us.
