I'm Kyle and I'm Jack.
And we are a part of the Honings of Ohio group.
We started this back in 2019.
And yeah, you called us and I'm like, well, it's kind of far away.
We can make that into a pretty good opportunity.
We have a few things planned.
So we are going to, it's actually in Virginia.
Okay.
So it's about two hours away from here still that we have to travel for our next investigation.
It's the blue ball in.
He knows a little bit more about it than I do.
Oh, my God, fill us in.
It's an old house over in Virginia.
There's some civil war ties to it.
But that's about the surface level I know about it.
They follow us on TikTok and that's how I found out.
So do you guys sleep there?
Or do you just go and investigate?
Like, what's, or is every process kind of different?
That's a touchy subject.
Oh, God, why?
Okay.
Well, we were actually talking about this on the way.
Maybe you should explain this one.
All right.
So we were in Indiana at the Randolph County Infirmary.
Okay.
Dubbed as one of the most haunted places in the world.
Okay.
And usually whenever, you know, it depends on the kind of place that you get.
A lot of the time there's an owner of the place and you talk to them and they'll say, yeah,
we'll rent it out to you for an entire night for a fee.
And sometimes, you know, like they just said, yeah, as long as I'm,
you're out by 11 a.m. And whenever we have 11 a.m. out time, cool, we'll sleep there. We don't have to
get a hotel. We don't like sleeping there, but why not? We'll do it. And we had a pretty crazy night
regardless. The place is no joke. It's pretty scary. And the last, or I think it was the second to last
session we had, was really driving us up a wall with some of the responses. We can get into that
a little later. But it was a very threatening environment that we were in.
Not good.
Not good.
It's just so funny because I feel like with ghost stuff, first of all, there's so many people
that don't believe in it, which is insane to me.
Because I'm like, in general, I'm like a big believer in the balance.
If there's good, there's evil, vice versa.
And it's like I was actually saying this this morning too, is I feel like there are,
and I'm curious, like I said, how you guys got into it because I feel like there are people
that are obviously just more in tune and in touch naturally.
with ghosts in that world,
and I feel like they can just see things, hear things without trying.
And then I think there's people that maybe they're just oblivious to it.
They don't really care.
They might not have that experience,
or maybe they go searching for it,
and then they start to believe because they see it or hear it.
But I just think it's crazy that there are people that are just like,
it's not real.
It's real.
It is.
And the reason why I say that it's not because I'm out here doing it
is because, I mean, think about how long this.
has been going on.
Yeah.
Since before we can even think of, you know, 1,400, 1,300's,
there's still these stories about something being out there.
And right, I feel like a lot of the scary movies are based on years and years ago.
And if you look even far, you know, that far out with mythologies,
religion at the time that we call mythologies where people have kind of moved on from them.
And then obviously there are some religions that have stuck throughout all that time.
but this has people swear by it.
Yeah.
In generations, in centuries later, people are still claiming that there is something out there.
Now, not everyone is going to see that, and that's fine.
But for the people who do, how is it possible that it's not real at all if it's been going on for so long?
And we knew that.
And but when we got started it, it was 2019, we had the idea, you watch the TV shows.
You watch really at the time actually paranormal YouTube really wasn't that popular whenever we got started.
It was there.
It was definitely there.
Yeah.
But you see all the TV shows that you grew up with and you're like, wow, this is really kind of scary.
But how real is it?
How much TV magic is there?
So did either one of you grow up with any type of paranormal experiences?
Absolutely.
So growing up, I've had so many paranormal experiences in our homes.
Like one time, I'm downstairs high school, playing video games.
and we had a deep freezer down there.
And I'm sitting there just playing, had my headphones on.
I hear it open and slam shut.
I was like, okay, maybe it's my mom making, you know, getting stuff ready for dinner.
So I take my headset off.
I walk over, no one, just a dark basement corner.
It's like, all right, I acknowledged it, and I resumed what I was doing
because I feel like most of the times when you acknowledge it, you know,
Gagent's at power and knows you're scared.
So I wasn't trying to be scared.
So I just resumed what I was doing, I could block it out.
And then same basement, my room was down there.
And we had our house cat.
And he was, you know, scratching at the door, went and out.
I was in the middle of a game online, so you can't pause it.
So I said, one second, buddy.
And then I turn around.
I see I'm looking up at the door and the door just opens.
It was the realest thing I've ever seen.
So in that moment, did you, what did you feel?
Like, was it fear?
Was it just like, what the thought?
Just shock?
Yeah.
I was just like,
All right.
So we're doing this.
Yeah.
I said, I appreciate you doing my job for me and I shut my door.
My cat went out and I resumed what I was doing.
Okay.
But those were your first kind of experiences with it?
Yes.
Okay.
And that was in your house growing up.
And then what about you?
Nothing.
Okay.
Nothing.
I'm sorry.
I don't have any cool stories like that.
So were you like a believer always or did you, when you got into this,
were you kind of just like, let's see if it's real?
Well, like I said, I grew up watching the shows.
Okay.
I mean, it's good television.
That's early 2000 television.
As I say it all the time, that's the pinnacle of television.
It really hooks you.
So I'm like, well, how real is it?
And we've been friends since middle school for sure.
Okay.
We went on, it was a ghost walk in seventh grade, and it was for a friend's birthday party.
And it was the anniversary of this haunted area.
It was Gretchen's Lock over Beaver Creek, a very small local place.
And the ghost, that is.
known to be there, Gretchen. We're on the anniversary of her death at the location. So we're doing this
50-person walk. They're telling the stories. They have the equipment. They're doing things. And
it was really cool. Fast forward all these years later. And we're still like talking about, you know,
paranormal stuff like we're all interested in. And I said, why don't we start a YouTube channel
based off of a paranormal investigating style show,
and we see for ourselves how good it is.
But we actually have to do this.
It's not one of those ideas that you go,
and then you never actually – I said, we actually have to do it.
So we said, all right, we're broke college kids.
We're going to devote $100 each,
and we're going to get the necessary equipment,
and we're going to go back to that original location
that Gretchen's Lock for our first investigation.
That sounds like a good starting point.
And when you say the equipment,
what kind of equipment were you guys getting?
So I guess I
investigating 101, we had our night vision camera,
which was 60 bucks.
We're getting close to the $100.
I know, you're right.
That was half my budget.
Right, literally.
Oh my God.
And it was the worst night vision camera ever.
In fact, we actually stopped using it after our second video
because it broke.
And we started using our cell phones.
So in a light, we didn't have a night vision camera
And the battery was awful.
And then what about any type of, like, ghost equipment?
We got a digital recorder, which it's funny because the best paranormal equipment is not meant
for the paranormal.
So a digital record, what is a digital recorder?
It's just, it's a lecture recorder back in the 90s, whenever you're interviewing someone,
you have the recorder or you put it on a desk for class.
And that way you can listen to it back and have all the notes.
Yeah.
But those lecture recorders, they're meant to be.
heard from far away, because if you're in the back of a lecture hall, you want to be able to hear
what the professor's saying. Yeah. So they have sensitive microphones. Now spirits are said,
and this is theory, we're not theorists. We are on surface level investigators there to just see
if it's real, our entertainment, your entertainment, and, you know, they have sensitive microphones,
and it's said that spirits speak in a high frequency beyond what our range of hearing can hear.
Right. So that's why it's really hard to kind of hear anything with your own ears, and that's where
a lot of the speculation is. But if you have that recorder and you have it setting down and you're
talking, you ask a question, you wait, you're silent. You ask a question, you wait, you're silent.
It's kind of a brutal process. Because in that moment, like in real time, you guys probably
won't hear it. But then when you listen back, you might hear it on that recorder.
And it's terrifying. It's terrifying. So does that, is that like usually what happens with you guys
when you guys listen back to it?
Well, usually is not a word I would use.
It's so rare.
It's so hard.
It's a very hard session to conduct because, first of all, it takes a lot of time.
Because every, let's say we're talking for 10 minutes.
Now that's 10 minutes of listening.
And you're really wanting to hear anything, to I hear anything.
But sometimes it catches you off guard where you're talking and you ask a question
and you know that there's a break of silence and then you hear a response.
Well, wait a minute.
You didn't say that.
Well, good thing we have our camera.
And we sit there and we record, all right, did you move your lift? Did you shuffle? Did you do something?
No. No, we didn't. So that's unsettling.
Right. Okay. So you guys get your equipment and you go on your first investigation.
Yes. And what happens? Any success? Any luck?
It was a slow start. We got comments, I should say, about like, wow, they didn't capture anything until 30 minutes into the video.
That's the reality sometimes.
I feel like so many of us have a wake-go in mind, but actually getting there can be really, really
difficult and challenging, especially when we don't know where to start.
You know, we make all these lifestyle changes, these diet changes, and we can feel like we're
starting to make progress and then eventually start to notice that we're plateauing, or we feel like
we are right back to where we started.

In my opinion, when it comes to starting a business, it's not the idea itself that's the
hardest part. It's actually doing something with the idea that you have, taking action,
and honestly, the thought of that can be really overwhelming, which is,
completely understandable. And I feel like something that a lot of people struggle with that have a
really good creative idea in mind. Obviously, it's super understanding that it can become so overwhelming
because you have this amazing idea, but then you think about creating a website, inventory, customers,
payments, all this stuff. And then you just throw your hands in the air and you say, yeah, you know what,
never mind. I don't want to deal with that. And that is why platforms like Shopify are so freaking
helpful. They change the game. They make this whole process easier. And they basically just handle
everything for you so you can take your creative amazing idea and turn it into the business of your
dreams and basically all of your ideas completely come to life shopify actually has pre-built website
themes and an ai site builder that makes launching your website so seamless so easy you don't have to
know how to code none of that complicated crap and with the holidays coming up timing is so important
so you can actually launch your business before black friday which is obviously a time of year when
everybody is ready to shop and everybody is online. So if you're ready to launch your business before
Black Friday, go to shopify.com slash insane to start your free trial. That's Shopify.com
slash insane. Go to Shopify.com slash insane today to hear your first, chiching. Not every
investigation is going to be this crazy, scary thing. You might get something. You might not. We actually
were on a cold spell the last couple ones. Like we didn't really get much. Yeah. It is disheartening,
too. Whenever you go out there and you can.
kind of feel like a fool because you're out there. We have videos. If we make it to an hour-long
video, that's a really good video. Usually they're around, I guess these days, maybe 40 minutes to an
hour. If you can go over that hour mark, then you really nailed it. We are out there for 12 hours.
And you take 12 hours of footage with multiple different camera angles and we're in this brutal
editing session and you crunch it down into 40 minutes of, you know, entertainment or the,
you know, the hot stuff that we can show to the viewers.
Of course, we want them to be interested in it.
No one's going to want to sit there and watch a 12 hour.
Right.
We're sitting there and nothing, nothing, nothing, nothing.
Or else we get the comments that we did on our first video.
But it is brutal when you're there for 12 hours and you capture nothing at all.
We've been sitting here in the dark talking to nothing for, you know.
Yeah.
And don't forget the sub-exam.
zero temperatures of our first investigation.
Yeah, so that was the first one.
It was like 12 hours that you guys were there.
Well, the first one probably was a little less.
Five four to six.
Price, yeah, I'd probably six hours.
We used to start it at midnight.
We don't do that anymore.
Okay.
So you'll do it basically, that first one, I guess, going back to that,
you did it late at night.
Yeah.
And then did you guys have any, like, experiences there that you guys were able to get and
pick up?
At the very end, we were a little bit more sensitive
to things and like we were like you know scared because yeah first investigation and um you know we got
the word what killing was it it was on our spirit box on our spirit box and like we're like okay
this is too this is too much for us we got to leave and looking back at looking back that's nothing now
compared to like what you guys have been threatened yeah so what is a spirit box all right so spirit box is
now and this is where a lot of people will this was designed for paranormal investigation there's a theory
that you take a radio and you take the dial of the radio and you kind of go through the channels
and it's kind of creating that shh-sh-sh-sh-sh-sh-sh-h-h-h-h-h-h-h-h-h. It's like a white noise. Think about if you're
in-between channels and static, yeah. So if you do that fast enough and it's cutting through all
these different frequencies and you can hear that da-da-da-da-da-da-da-chch-ch-ch-ch. And it's said that
spirits can use the white noise to get their voice out. It helps. I don't know why that makes
sense, but it does. We try it and it works. And I know you're going to hear voices like,
I don't know, like you said, we had the word killing from it. It was like scary for us at the time.
Yeah. We'd never done anything like this before. But, you know, who knows? Did it actually say
killing? It sounded like it, yeah. But we're thinking about the times where we're having a full-on
conversation as real as me and you and as accurate as that. So the,
I guess the skepticism is it, how do you know it's not just picking up random radio voices
throughout the white noise?
And sometimes it does.
Sometimes it does.
But what are the odds that we're having a 30-minute conversation just me and you
through coincidental voices that happen to be driving through?
Not to mention, whenever it's going through, if you hear a sentence and it says, I don't
know, it says like, I am dead or something like that.
If you hear it, you can hear it get broken up.
It's like, I am dead, you know, because it's getting broken up by those
sh-ch-ch-ch-ch-ch.
If it was one radio station, it would be in between one-ch, you know, the different frequencies.
Because if you're on 94.5 FM, it would be in that little tiny split second of a
time frame.
But if it's drug-out through 10 frequencies, it theoretically, that same voice went
through 10 different radio stations.
Right. To further it, a lot of people take out the antenna so that way there's zero way that they can get any kind of radio interference. And we've done that before. It's just a lot of work to modify the thing. Yeah. We're not that savvy. But yeah. So that's where the controversial things happen. So you were asking about the equipment. We got our night vision camera. We got our digital recorder that have nothing to do with paranormal. We got the spirit box because that is a staple in the paranormal community. And we want to blend the two types of equipment.
together. We never go into an investigation with one piece of equipment. We have over, what,
$10,000 in equipment now of the most highly scientific and experimental stuff that a lot of people
are like, okay, no, that's a bunch of crap. I want to stick with dowsing rods, digital
recorders, and night vision cameras. And just overall senses. And overall senses. And yeah, sure,
I get it. For us, it's kind of boring. Why not try the other stuff? And then confirm it
with the stuff that you know works. So that's what we do. We like to just kind of
balance things together. We always have several pieces going at the same time.
So like we'll have like a something to confirm. So before you talked about it, the K2 meter,
it takes the electromagnetic field and if there's interference with it, the lights will go up
to a certain level from like a green to a red. Okay. And like yellow, orange in the middle.
So we'll always have manipulations in the environment, energy spikes. Yes. Yes. And we'll have
that. And then we'll also have the spirit box going. And if we get a response,
like saying, I am Steve.
Be like, okay, Steve, if you're here with us, can you touch this K2 meter or we'll just
say this box because they might not know what that is.
Because you got to think we're talking to spirits from like 1900s, 1800s sometimes.
So we always like to describe it as it is, like this box and you just grab it for us.
And so we're like, okay, Steve, can you touch that box?
And, you know, sometimes we get lucky and it will actually spike up a little bit.
But with a K2 meter, that goes back to equipment that was not originally designed for paranormal
vascular. What do we use it for? We hold it up against a wall before we make it cut for a new door
and we see if we're hitting any wires. So it'll spike up red if we're on a wire. Okay,
we'll avoid that area. So if you're on the middle of a field where there's no electricity,
well, how did it spike up? And how did it spike up right when you asked?
Okay. Make sense.
That's where it gets cool.
And then also, if you're using that, you also have to make sure your devices are on airplane mode
because the signals will interfere with the meter and I'll make it spike randomly.
So you got to make sure all your bases are touched.
Like no devices on you.
Are you in an area where there's a lot of like Wi-Fi radio frequencies?
Just the other day.
We were at, it was a place called the Octagon House.
And we look up right next to the building and there is a giant 5G.
tower. You're like, well, that's not going to work. Yeah. And we couldn't use it. Okay. So because there's just
too much other frequency. It was shooting, you know, I was powering the whole town with 5G network.
Okay. So we were outside. We're like, okay, certain areas of the house, we could set it down,
like, okay, it's not getting affected. Yeah. And we'd have to do a complete way. And that's actually
the first thing we do whenever we get to invest, we take our equipment when we're on site.
anything that's in, I guess, affected by the environment, like a K2 meter or we have a bunch of
other stuff too.
But we'll walk through the entire building and map out, okay, this is no go for this piece
of equipment, that's no go for this piece of equipment.
We're just going to map out where there might be interference so that we don't
contaminate our own investigation.
Gotcha.
And then before we kind of get into your guys's journey after that first investigation,
just throughout the years of you guys doing this, how have you made sure to,
to protect yourselves.
Like, have you ever had any experience where things have felt like they've attached to you
or followed you or did you ever feel like that or like you guys needed to kind of go in
with more protection?
Well, part of not as good as we should have.
What we do, we always say goodbye to the spirits.
And I know that sounds weird.
It doesn't.
I was just saying the other day, and I never used to do this, this is like more recent for me.
Whenever I go places, if I get like a vibe or a feeling or I know it's somewhere old,
I will literally say, all right, guys, you stay here.
Like, nice seeing you, but keep your ass here, guys.
And it's funny.
People will look at you like you're crazy, but I'm fucking serious.
Oh, yeah.
That's essentially exactly what we do.
Yeah.
Every location.
We want to thank them.
I thank you whether it was bad or good.
Yeah, thanks for your time, guys.
I appreciate you participating in helping us out here, but we're leaving.
I don't care if you stay here, but you can't come with us.
Okay.
And there have been times where we have staged ourselves, not that we have any of
that stuff, but it's if we're someone else and they have better methods than we do.
I should have done that when you guys walk in the door.
I know, right.
I don't think we have juju on us.
We should.
No ghost gung.
No ghost gung.
I don't know about you guys, but I feel like every change of season, especially in the
fall, I find myself going through my closet and realizing I have so many clothes, but I always
tend to pick out the same things and wear the same things over and over again.
For example, that sweater that you always reach for, those one pair of jeans that just fit
perfectly, unlike any of the other pairs. The bag that you just pick up and you don't even think about
it, those are usually my favorite staple pieces and the things that are just easy to throw with
anything. And obviously the best pieces for fall because that's when we're layering all our
different clothing. And that is honestly what I love about Quinn's. I find myself wearing their pieces
all the time. They have amazing basics that I just find myself gravitating towards layering and
absolutely loving. They make elevated basics using amazing material like Mongolian cashmere.
organic cotton and premium stretch denim without making things way too expensive.
And like I mentioned, as we're getting into fall, I love the idea of just knowing that I have
some really good staple pieces in my closet that I can just layer with pretty much anything
and it's good quality and I know I'll look cute.
One of my favorite things are their 100% Mongolian cashmere sweaters and they literally are just starting
at $50, which is insane when you think about the quality.
And when you think about you get to look cute and stay warm all fall and kind of into winter.

But have you ever had an experience where you felt like something followed you guys or no?
We thought for sure a couple times there would be. Yeah. Well,
We never even finished the story where...
Yeah, tell me.
This was at the beginning.
You asked if we slept on location.
Yeah.
And we said we had that bad session.
And we finally went...
They had rooms made up.
Grungy beds.
Is this the asylum?
This is that asylum.
Okay.
Kind of grungy beds.
It was nasty.
But we go to sleep.
Jack throws a mattress on the ground next to the door because there is a working
outlet there.
Some of the buildings, they have power in certain areas.
Okay.
They'll say, like, or we're going to power this building so that way you have areas.
So is this place abandoned?
It's own.
privately. It's own. It keep up with it. Gotcha.
History alive. Did they, do they still have old equipment in there from when it was inside?
Oh, yeah. It looks, it looks abandoned, but it's not abandoned to the point where it's unsafe.
Gotcha. Okay. So you guys stay in there. You set up a door next to the bed, right?
Yeah. Yes. And I have, and I took, I took the main bed because, I don't know, I felt like I deserved it.
Yeah. Yeah. We always fight over it. We always fight over it. So he had one all the way over to the other side, and he drags that mattress over to
the door because there's a there's a thing there and he locks the door for some reason i don't know if he's
afraid that ghosts are going to break him or what i don't understand how this guy thinks and i have to it was
you know i get like an hour of sleep and then i wake up and i'm like i got to go the bathroom so i go over
and i go to touch the lock to unlock it and i see jack's head and there's a window where there's a
light outside shining in so it's kind of gloomy in there you can see just enough okay
and i look over and he snaps his head up almost in an unnatural
I'm not, I'm not saying it's like, you know, like crazy. Like he could do it, obviously.
But it was just like, geez, what are you doing? Like, obviously, you're still awake. And right
when I get to say something, he starts screaming, bloody murd, like he's getting stabbed
to death. I have never heard this guy freak out before like that. And he is like, I don't,
I don't even know how to describe it. It's on video. So this is when you're at the door about to unlock it
going out to go to the bathroom. Yeah, I just want to go to the bathroom. And you look down and
His head snaps up.
And he's right there.
Okay, so was it you?
No.
I don't remember anything.
That's the scariest thing.
I don't remember anything.
He's screaming bloody murder.
I'm like, Jack, it's me.
It's me.
It's me.
And I'm like jumping out too at this point because I don't know what the hell is happening.
And at this point, I'm in a sleeping bag.
So my whole body is, he's bound.
Restricted.
Yeah.
I jump on him and I'm like grabbing him, trying to wake him up, shaking him.
He is kicking me with both feet, like trying to get me.
off and I'm like, and I'm at this point, I'm punching. I'm trying to wake him up.
Yeah. And he finally like. Snaps out of it. And I'm like, it's me. It is me. And then that's
where I come to it. Like, I'm like, he's on me. I have no idea what's going on. He's like out of breath.
I'm somehow out of breath. I don't know what happened. And that's never happened to you before.
I'd never seen him have a sleep panicking. It was sleep panicking. He was panicking. He was a sleep.
The weird thing that his head, his head, like, was...
Yeah, he, like, snapped his head up, like, in a weird way.
I'm like, what the...
What are you?
I thought he was trying to be funny.
Like, ah, I spooked you kind of thing.
He spooked me, that's for sure.
Right.
But we also got to remember this, the last, the second to last session, it pulled us to go to sleep.
It kept...
So, we're replaying everything that we got in that second to last session.
It said, what do we do now?
Go to sleep, go to sleep.
Like, okay, well, no, we're having a session.
Yeah.
Brush it off.
Yeah.
And finally, like, all right, well, I guess we didn't get anything else after that.
Yeah, it just kind of died out after that.
Okay.
And I don't know.
It was just awful.
I didn't sleep the rest of the night.
And we have a six-hour drive home.
So I'm asleep deprived.
Right.
Never going to sleep in a location ever again.
Yeah.
That kind of thing.
So that was your first sleep?
No, it wasn't our first.
Okay.
No, that's the thing.
Okay, got you.
It wasn't the first.
So what happened?
Now, he had a sleep.
I don't think he was possessed.
No, I don't think he was possessed.
I think something definitely influenced the terror, though.
Okay.
Whether that was something from that last session that just triggered some kind of instinct
where he was freaking out and he didn't know who I was.
Yeah.
I don't know.
Because like before he went to bed, we were joking and laughing about memes before bed
to kind of like lighten the mood to get comfortable.
Yeah.
And then that happened.
I don't know.
Weird.
Yeah.
It's not like we went to bed necessarily.
necessarily afraid. Yeah. Okay. And then like something like that, then you just, you obviously didn't
sleep much, but you just woke up the next day. And then what does that process look like, like when
you go home and then you're just going through all of that footage, just like relistening to
figure out what you guys are going to put into a video? The funny thing is, so after we turn off,
after we're done with our last session, we turn off all the equipment, we pack everything up,
we're ready to go. But if we sleep on location, sometimes we have a security system stringed out
throughout the house with a TV, like just in case something gets caught on those cameras
or we hear something, let's have those cameras rolling because they're wired in, their batteries,
they don't have batteries, they're direct wired. And there is a camera, one floor above or below,
below, down the hall. Yeah. The first thing I did is that I'm going to that camera and I know it,
I know it heard the audio. Didn't see what happened, but it heard the audio. And we have the audio.
And I showed everyone.
We were co-labbing with a different group, spiritual connections.
They're also on YouTube.
But they, somehow, half of them didn't wake up with the people in the room next to us thought we're, they didn't want to go see what was going on.
They thought someone was dying.
I'm just going to close my eyes and pretend it didn't happen.
Ghost has taken him out.
Right.
Yeah, like, and I'm like, is everyone okay?
Right.
And he was like, are you?
Uh-huh.
No, they said, Jack's not.
Yeah, because I could hear his voice.
But yeah, we heard the audio, and I showed everyone.
I said, I don't know how everyone didn't wake up sprinting in the room
because this was bloody murder.
Like, he was getting murdered.
Like, you was getting stabbed.
And that's what it sounded like.
Yeah.
So it was, I mean, that was terrifying.
That was the time where what did we do afterwards?
We didn't investigate for three months.
Really?
We quit.
We were done.
I said, I'm taking a hiatus.
Was it just because of fear, you think?
Yeah, we needed a break.
Both of you were just, okay.
Yeah.
And was that in 2019 when you guys started?
No, that was last year.
Okay, so that's recent.
So you guys were doing it.
And was that, would you say that was like the first kind of like experience that you feel like it kind of involved you guys?
To that extent, I guess, because there's some times where you're investigating you're like, hello?
You're right?
You're right?
You're right?
You're zone or not.
Like, I don't know, I just, something's coming over me.
Yeah.
Like I'm drained.
I'm feeling angry.
It's the energy.
Yeah.
Yeah, you kind of feel the energy of what is affecting you.
That was the first time that really something like, I think, truly triggered them to that extent.
But you go into these places.
I mean, you're going to feel something at some point.
Right.
If you're there for 12 hours.
And then are you guys going all over to do these different investigations?
Okay.
So I moved into a new house.
And if you've ever done that, you know the air feels a little off at first.
between new paint, new furniture, funky old vents, who even knows what you're actually breathing in?
That's why I got Jasper and I am absolutely obsessed.
It's a medical grade air scrubber.
So it doesn't just filter the air.
It scrubs it completely clean.
Smoke, mold spores, VOCs, chemical fumes, all of it completely gone.
I feel so much calmer knowing the air in my home is actually clean.
Like I'm not fighting invisible stuff while trying to take care of myself and even all of my animals.
and even all of my animals.
Jasper gave me a code for $200 off.
Use insane at jasper.com.
That's insane for 200 bucks off.
We talk a lot about taking care of our minds on this show,
but the air we breathe matters just as much.

Yeah, we kind of started as the hauntings of Ohio.
Like, just, you know, broke college kids.
We're going to stay local to us in northeastern Ohio.
But then we started going to Pennsylvania and then Indiana.
And then now we're going to Virginia and possibly Maryland.
Well, we're in Maryland.
Yeah.
We possibly have one tomorrow night in Maryland.
But, yeah, we were.
What place?
USS Constellation?
It's a big warship in the,
port of Baltimore.
Okay.
It's a 19, what, 50, or I'm sorry, 1856, I think it was a naval ship.
So it looks like a big pirate ship with cannons off the sudden.
And it's haunted.
We're waiting on one more confirmation email.
So let's see that.
You guys, I wish, there was a plate, have you guys heard of Rosewood?
No.
So it was an insane asylum around here.
It's only like 20 minutes away.
And 100% haunted.
I mean, like 100%.
They tore down all the buildings now, because they're,
building a college on it.
Yikes.
But there's shit there.
100%.
I was just telling the story the other day.
But I remember it's always been known to have, be haunted, have spirits there.
People have had a lot of experiences there, like just darkness, heaviness.
Because it was like, I think the patients were getting abused.
I remember I was probably in high school.
And I had one of my little camera.
And, you know, that was the fun thing to do once again, like go fuck with ghosts.
see if you find anything. So my friends and I, it's kind of like if you drive on the road,
it was like kind of further off the road, but you could see it from the road. So we drove,
we stopped the car, and a couple of us just ran out and we just were taking flash pictures
at night. And I took probably like 10. And only one of them came out, which was like the building.
All the others, it just stopped, the camera just stopped working. Like all the pictures were black.
It wasn't picking anything up, nothing. But that one picture, it was like hazy. There was
orbs everywhere. And then in one of the windows, there was a red orb. And it wasn't like from
the camera flash, because like I said, I was so, so far back that it's like, it's not going to
pick up that. But also it was like in one of the windows. And it was just the creepiest thing on
top of the camera not working anymore. And like I just, it would be cool if you guys could like
even just go on that property. I don't know. It's weird too because they were always very strict
about people. Like it was like there was always security driving around. But like it was just dark.
There's darkness over there for sure.
But there's a lot of places in Maryland that, I mean, have you guys done Gettysburg?
No, no.
You guys should do Gettysburg.
That's really haunted too.
Yeah.
And a lot of the, it's kind of difficult to get access.
I'm sure.
Yeah.
I mean, because we need an entire night.
I was going to say, you need all that time to.
We need exclusivity.
Yeah.
You know.
No interruptions.
Contamination.
Like, if we know there's tons of people on property and we hear foot steps, well, how do you,
how do you know it's not someone else?
Right.
What do we need to do?
We need to walk down the building.
I don't know.
I don't think people think about that either when it comes to what you guys do,
is that like, especially if you're taking it seriously and doing it the right way,
how much goes into it.
Like, it's not like you're just going into a place with a camera and other people there
and hoping to pick up on things because then it can lead to, you know,
like you said, things being contaminated and stuff like that,
which I'm sure, like, when you guys post stuff,
you probably have a lot of people in the comments that speculate and, like, this isn't real.
Yeah, and I'm fine with that.
Yeah.
I truly am.
I hear the comments.
The truth is we don't fake our stuff.
Trust me, if I wanted to fake the channel, I wouldn't, A, it could make it a lot more exciting.
B, I wouldn't spend as much time out there as I am right now. There's better ways.
If you don't want to, if you choose not to believe the equipment, that's fine. That's fine.
I don't, I understand that. But that's why, like I said earlier, we bring multiple pieces of
equipment that have no relation to each other. We have something that's used for interviewing
lectures and stuff like that. And then we have something that's designed for ghost hunting.
But if these two unrelated pieces of equipment can agree on one thing that's currently happening,
well, how do you explain that? Right. And that's what we do. Yeah. In a nutshell. So how are
your channels doing? Are they grow, have they been growing well and doing good? Yeah, very well. We're at
$25,000 on YouTube. Amazing. 167,000 on her TikTok. We just had a, like just randomly posted
a long form video, an hour long video on TikTok, hit almost four million views.
Wow. Amazing. Oh, that's incredible.
It was one of our scariest nights, too. Not the asylum we were talking about.
It was probably the only one that would beat it. Yeah. Okay.
But that can be there.
I was going to say it. I want you guys to walk me through some of your, like, scariest experiences and all that good stuff just from both your perspectives and take me through it.
Scare the shit out of me if you can.
I guess I'll say the name of it. Now, we did have it disclosed, originally.
originally, Maslin State Hospital.
Which is where?
It is in Massland, Ohio.
Okay.
And it is abandoned.
It's completely abandoned.
There were groundskeepers there, and we were under, we don't condone trespassing.
Don't trespass.
Don't trespass. Don't get in trouble.
But we had someone who was a groundskeeper who told the team that we were collaborating with.
Yeah.
You know, you guys can go out there, do the thing we got permission.
Well, I guess the guy wasn't the proper person to get his permission.
So the owners got pretty upset whenever the video started doing really well and said,
hey, we have an older, what was it, elders.
They have some sort of patience over there that they take care of.
On the working side.
There's the abandoned part.
I think that's how Rosewood was too.
It was like the main thing was abandoned.
But they did have like working office buildings or like something.
Right.
And it was a complex.
So there's multiple buildings.
Gotcha.
One building was still in use.
and they said, yeah, it's freaking out some of the people who live here.
Yeah. So we're like, oh, yeah, we'll keep it anonymous.
But since then, they've torn down the building.
So it's gone.
Gotcha. Okay. So you guys went into this place.
And if you want, like I said, don't trespass,
but if you want the best paranormal captures and you really want to be scared,
abandoned buildings is where it's at.
And the reason why is because if you have a place that advertises,
we are haunted, you can rent out the building, we'll give you the history, and it's booked out
week after, with different paranormal investigators. Ghosts aren't dumb. They understand what's going on
after every single week. People are going there, what's your name? Who are you? And then, like,
oh, you know, talking about you do podcasts, huh? You know, they're saying the same story over and over.
And, you know, maybe certain ghosts, like we've been told this before, maybe certain ghosts,
not even like say a ghost named Jeff, you know, there's a ghost Jeff. He haunts the third floor.
But there's a ghost on the other end of the third floor that isn't Jeff, but, you know, he hears the story over and over again.
I'm Jeff for today. I'll be Jeff. Yeah. I'll play along. Are they, you know, taking that, changing the story up a little bit? I don't know.
It does make sense, though, because if you're going into like an abandoned place where people usually aren't, I feel like the spirits would be more inclined to like, listen to me, listen to me,
versus like if you go somewhere where it just flooded with people and energy all the time.
I feel like it's just.
They have no idea what's going on because we're the first people who have ever came in here
with looking to talk to them.
Looking to talk to them.
And like I said, we have a pretty big arsenal of, we have a pretty big collection of stuff
that we work with.
Right.
So yeah, we're putting a lot of energy in there and they have zero clue what's going on.
Like, uh, what?
And they don't like it.
Okay.
They want to be left alone.
So that's where you're going to get your times where you're like, oh, you need to be careful.
And that was one that we staged ourselves after.
So we're in this Maslin State Hospital.
And we split up.
We have a group of how many total?
There was six.
Six?
No.
Nine.
Eight, I think.
Eight people.
So usually if you're all together, it's a lot of noise going.
So we split up.
All right.
You go to that room.
We'll go to this room.
You're over there.
on the bottom floor of the building, we're over here, can't contaminate each other's evidence.
And it is, first of all, it's scary because you have chipping paint, you have cracked floor as
graffiti everywhere. Unsecure building. Unsecure building. And, you know, at the time, we thought we had
to be there. But you're going there and you get some of the more darker responses on your
equipment, your spirit boxes, your digital recorders, your, even a K2 spiking up. And there's no power
in that building at all. So if it's spiking up to the highest reading, that's bad. But
what is the scariest thing that we can experience? A lot of people ask, what's the scariest
thing you've ever captured? And it's so boring to talk about it because it's not what you would
think. You would think it's like this threatening thing. It's whenever you hear footsteps.
And why is that? It's because all the equipment that we use is it's a map trying to guide us
to where something is. Now, if you are on a complete secured location, you know that there's
knowing there and you can hear heel toe, heel toe, heel toe on these floors walking towards you,
that is terrifying. And you can't see it. That is completely unexplainable. Yeah. Yeah, you can't see
anything. Okay, so I moved into a new house, and if you've ever done that, you know the air
feels a little off at first. Between new paint, new furniture, funky old vents, who even knows
what you're actually breathing in? That's why I got Jasper and I am absolutely obsessed. It's a medical

Cute, Kevin, but I disagree.
Like with Bet365.
I get paid the second my team goes up big with early payout and can cash out at any time before
the game ends.
No hard feelings, Kevin.
Just faster payouts from Bet365.

If you were someone you know is concerns about game,
visit connectcentario.ca or call 1866 5 through 1.2600. Terms and conditions apply. So we were on this third
floor of the building and I don't know. Apparently we didn't know this at the time. I guess the group that
we were with did know this. There were some break-ins, early 2000s maybe, where they were doing some
satanic rituals there. And I think that kind of really stirred some things. Yeah. Yeah, it made sense
It's now looking back at it why it was so dark.
And when I tell you, we're all standing there and we see our K2 meter flashing red and
we have another device going off.
I'm like, wait a minute, wait, wait, wait, wait, it was completely silent.
That's going off all of a sudden.
This is going off.
It sounded like someone was in there and they fired a gun.
I don't know what it was.
It was the loudest slam I've ever heard in my entire life.
We all jumped scream and were like, who is here?
We thought someone was there.
I'm telling you it was so loud.
I don't know what it was.
It was like, if you drop the washing machine, I don't know.
It was so loud.
And then at this moment, I'm actually down in the basement with the other half of the crew.
We're not getting anything.
Did you hear the bang?
No.
And we're in the basement.
We're way far away from each other.
Okay, but still, you would think it's something that loud.
Because we met up and, you know, you know,
He was like, dude, we had the craziest session.
I'm like, we had nothing.
Okay, not a single noise.
But same building, just two different, okay?
And I'm like, what did you hear?
He's like this giant slam.
I'm like, we didn't hear anything.
Yeah.
We were probably separated for about an hour, maybe a little bit more.
And then we, I was like, well, let's go right back up there.
And then, I mean, we got some good stuff after that.
But that session was, it was good session, but it wasn't like a crazy session.
So we were hearing that loud slam.
and we heard a bunch of other noises getting some weird responses.
There's cameras dying.
We got a voicing, depleted batteries or something like that,
and it was just, wow, that's kind of relevant.
Later in the night, we did it.
We like to set up experiments where we really kind of get creative with it.
We have a grid that shoots like a bunch of red squares on the wall,
and what it's doing is it's measuring changes in temperature.
So like, if you ever, like, oh, I felt like a cold breeze, you know.
They say it's a spiritual presence.
Well, we actually have something that,
monitors that like, well, did you feel something? Because this will tell us if you did.
And we always tested out, like it has a grid, red's hot, blue's cold.
Put my hand in front of it. It's going to map out my hand in all red dots.
Take it out. So that's how we tested. We had that. We had our trusty K2 meter that measures the
changes in the environment. And then we had something called an SLS camera. Do you know what
like Xbox had that connect? And it was like the big deal because it was
motionless or no controllers and you just did things. How did it work? Well, it takes the same
technology of it maps out your body, it sees the presence of your body, and it creates a skeleton,
like a stick figure on you. And, you know, if I do that, the stick figure's hand will do that.
So that's how the game would work. Well, we use the technology in ghost hunting. And how it works
is it sees me the stick figure, but if there's no like person there and it creates,
it's a stick figure, what is it seeing that it's confusing the system to make a stick figure
moving? Yeah. So that's really neat. And then once you see it, you're like, okay, well, hey,
can you wave? And it would wave. And it's scary. It's really scary whenever that happens,
because you feel like you're seeing, what, this device that is used for video games is seeing
something that's not there. And it's, it's mapping it out because it has these crazy cameras.
And sometimes it can, like, say if I'm pointing it at your light here, sometimes it will, like, try to pick it up as a person.
So you have to kind of go around and kind of see what is, what's not.
Manipulation.
Yeah.
Gotcha.
Of the device.
So.
But we were in, are you talking about the hallway?
A hallway, yeah.
Yeah, we're just in the middle of a hallway.
We're not moving it like a lot.
We're just keeping it pointed down the hallway.
And then I go stand in front of it.
He stands in front of all the devices.
We have the camera.
We have, we give him the meter.
And we have the grit.
shooting at them. Jack's the star. And right as we get up there as we're setting up,
another member of the other groups who really doesn't react a lot, started crying.
What's going on? I don't know. Something affected her. She was feeling really sad.
Okay. All right. Get our composure. We had work to do, you know. And we're shooting at Jack,
and we have our camera there, and it mapped out a figure, a stick figure, you know.
oh, what's that? Because it sees Jack. We know Jack's there. And then there's something next to him.
Ah.
It disappears. And now we have the grid shooting out it. I said, Jack, do you feel anything? He's like,
I don't know. I feel uneasy, that's for sure, because he's in the middle of it.
Yeah. And then our grid starts getting a wave of blue. There's no air conditioning. There's no,
there's no breeze. There's no nothing. It's stagnant air. And a wave of blue starts coming
and overshadowing Jack's body heat on the thing.
Now, what is that telling us?
It's in between Jack and it's in between us and the device.
So something is in between it to the point where it's seeing the blue
and it's not even registering Jack's body heat behind it.
Did you feel any coldness?
Yeah, actually.
It was kind of insane.
But they weren't telling me this at the time.
Okay, so you guys were just watching and you're just feeding the test on me?
Yes.
And coincidentally, if you want to call it,
the meter in his hand starts spiking all the way up to the max,
it's sensing something as well in a completely powerless building.
And then eventually I put it on the ground
because I just wanted to make sure I wasn't manipulating.
Cover all bases.
Yeah.
But it was still going on.
And you felt coldness too.
So that's three pieces of equipment plus whatever she was being emotionally affected by
before we even started the session.
And then later that session, another member,
of their crew started getting busy and sick.
Yeah.
Right.
And I don't think people...
Like almost about to throw up.
Yeah.
I don't think people realize, too, like how powerful that the energy can be.
And I kind of think...
And correct me if I'm wrong, but I do think, like, kind of going back to what I said is I
think there are more people that are, like, can be in tune and manipulated by things and
actually, like, have waves of just, like, that energy come over them of whatever those spirits
are feeling or want them.
to feel. Right. Yeah. Yeah, exactly. And a lot of people, that's where a lot of the skepticism,
oh, okay, you can say that all you want. Okay, that's fine. I don't know if I believe you either,
but we're going to bring you out here and we're going to see if it makes sense. Right. And that's all
we're doing. And then in general, have you guys, when you guys look back at footage sometimes,
not at this location specifically, but have you ever seen figures or have you ever captured figures
on film or like any type of movement or things like that?
Not, we haven't captured shadow figures on camera, but I've seen one clear as day, like at the
haunted Hinsdale house in New York.
It's one of the most haunted houses in New York.
We're getting ready to do a session.
We're not filming because we're just kind of getting ready, you know, like take a little breather,
get a snack.
And we're going outside because the whole land is haunted by Native American land.
And it's old Native American land.
So we're okay, okay, we're going to go out.
There's a little tree with trinkets on it.
or go investigate it.
And then I open the front door.
I look towards the road.
And then there's a black figure standing there.
And it's like almost as if we made eye contact with each other.
But there's no, it's just a black figure.
Yeah.
As if a person was standing there just completely just shadow.
And I see it bolt behind the tree there.
And then I pretty much tackle him back into the building.
I'm walking behind him.
Because I'm like, there's someone out there.
I got, because the owner is like, you may get somebody that might stop and, like, take a look because the house is pretty famous around here.
So I was like, okay, that's what I thought it was.
And then probably within 30 seconds, I peeked my head back out the door.
I don't see anything.
So I'm not telling him anything yet.
And then I walk all the way down.
It's snowing.
And then I look for fresh footprints.
Nothing.
No animal prints or anything.
Also, we're a mile up in the, you know,
hills and there's no houses around us. There's no cars. I also think if somebody's just going to
like stand there and look, they're not going to disappear and then not be there. Right. And the thing is,
and this is where it's really stressful, we shut the cameras off. This is in between sessions or even
sometimes it happens at afterwards where we're packing up and bringing things to the car. And we're not
shows over. Like we're not trying to find anything here. We're just trying to get outside to do our
next session here and he sees this and tackles me. And I'm like, okay, I got to.
I'm not going on.
And like, there's some things that's like, I think I saw this.
Like, something's right there, but that is 100% what I saw.
There was no, like, I don't know.
I still get kind of freaked out about it.
Okay, so I moved into a new house and if you've ever done that, you know the air feels
a little off at first.
Between new paint, new furniture, funky old vents, who even knows what you're actually
breathing in?
That's why I got Jasper and I am absolutely.
obsessed. It's a medical grade air scrubber. So it doesn't just filter the air. It scrubs it
completely clean. Smoke, mold spores, VOCs, chemical fumes, all of it completely gone.
I feel so much calmer knowing the air in my home is actually clean. Like I'm not fighting invisible
stuff while trying to take care of myself and even all of my animals. Jasper gave me a code for $200
off. Use insane at jasper.com. That's insane for 200 bucks off.
We talk a lot about taking care of our minds on this show,
but the air we breathe matters just as much.

In general, like just from your guys' perspective of talking
and interacting with different spirits,
what do you think, like do you think that these,
ghosts are trapped? Do you think that they're like all dark? Do you think some of them are good?
Like what are your thoughts like from what you've experienced and heard?
That's the question.
You know, a lot of people think that every spirit is a demon.
And whether it's acting nice or not, it's a demonic entity toying with you.
Don't mess with it.
And a lot of people, and they'll say everything's a demon.
Oh, you're talking to a demon.
And a lot of other people are upset by it.
You don't know what a demon is.
You would know if you came in contact with the demon.
And then a lot of people say, unfinished business, trapped souls, sat.
I don't know.
I don't know.
And that's, we ask those questions.
Have you ever gotten any answers?
We've gotten some pretty sad responses.
We haven't, it's almost, it's hard to bring it out of them.
Yeah.
Like, they don't want to talk about it.
And the best chance you have at capturing the right answer is by going to a place that's not
investigated because if you have the place that's booked out every week. Everyone's asking the same
question. They're not here for me. They're here for them. Yeah. You know, kind of thing. They just want to
capture a bunch of stuff on camera for their own pleasure. There was one where it was so real.
We were having a conversation that was through the spirit box, and this is one of those conversations
that went on and on and on that was talking about. So what's your name? And it's Carl? Craig. Craig,
is Craig. I always say Carl for a lot. Sorry.
Sorry, Craig.
Sorry, Craig.
My name's Craig.
I said, do you have children?
You, like, cried.
And it was like, you could hear the brokenness.
He said, I don't know.
And then he says, they ran away.
Like, I don't know.
It was just kind of a weird conversation.
And then he was talking to us and was sad and didn't know what was going on.
But we were in a funeral home and there were some forgotten ashes there, urns that were abandoned.
And we wonder if it's, you know, this Craig guy is one of them.
And have you ever sleptwalk or heard stories of people sleepwalk?
I don't know. I haven't done that shit. I hope I never do.
Well, it's almost like if you are, you're aware, but you're not aware.
Like, it's almost like so fuzzy. Like, did you have children? I don't know. I think they ran away, though.
Like, I'm forgotten here. Why did the children not pick up the ashes, if that's the case?
You know, why were there abandoned ashes here? I don't know. Maybe Craig is one of those ashes.
And you can hear the tone and the voice whenever you're, that's why I like a spirit
spirit box so much, because you can get a little bit more direct emotions and you can have
a more, I guess, conversation of substance. We try to structure our investigations. We don't
necessarily want to talk about what we want to talk about. And you hear it say it over and over
again. We want to talk about what you want to talk about. Is there anything that you want to talk about
so that way we can open the door for maybe something that's meaningful and not just what you do
for work, would you do for this and that and that?
Do you guys notice that you get a better response when you do that?
Yeah, typically.
Yeah.
Okay.
Uh-huh.
You have more interesting conversation, too, rather than hearing the same story that
you just, you know, heard.
And what does some of them tell you?
Uh, we, well, like I said, Craig was sitting there saying, you know, talking about his
family a little bit and how confused he was that he was there.
Um, we've had people, we've been in prisons where they've talked about what they've
done. Really? Oh, yeah. And we got, we got some pretty, we gotten some pretty mean responses.
Threatens like, yeah, this person prices should still be in prison.
Threats to like to you guys?
So this is really funny because do you know whenever you post something on the TikTok and you have the AI captions where it's like closed captioning?
And a lot of the times, you know, it won't pick up what you're hearing on a spirit box or something like that.
It doesn't know what it's saying because it's so broken up.
And we were asking, like, what are you going to do to us?
And the guy was like, I'll kill you.
Like, I'll kill you.
And it was clear like that.
And it was so clear that.
Is this on your guys' TikTok?
Yeah.
Okay, I hope to watch it.
The closed captioning picked up what he said.
It was that clear.
It was like someone was sitting there and it says, I'll kill you.
I'll kill you.
We had to go and bleep it out because I'm like, well, this AI is going to get us canceled here.
This ghost is about to get it.
just, yeah.
Yeah.
And it was, it was.
And that was an example of one that you heard in that moment.
Oh, yeah.
Yeah.
It was so clear.
What did you guys respond back?
I was, I was shocked.
Yeah.
And I said, what did he just say?
He's like, he said, I'll kill you.
And I'm like, oh, well, no, you're not.
You try to fight back, try to act all tough.
You know, we've heard it all.
But we've gotten stuff like that before.
We've heard, you know, I'm going to effing kill you, you know, kind of thing.
but it was broken up.
That was clear.
That was probably still, to this day,
the most clear voice we've ever captured.
And it was funny because it was like, geez.
Right.
And I'm sure, too, like, you know,
like we were saying,
anything with social media and just in general
with what you guys do,
it's so unpredictable, like what you guys are going to get.
And I'm sure, like, how do you guys,
just in general, decide to,
okay, we're going to stick with this?
Like, you know what I mean?
Because I know that you guys said
you had like a three-month kind of taken a break
after your,
whole experience. And then just in general, like, if you have those moments where you're like,
you don't pick up on any, on any spirits or anything a few times in a row, like, how do you
guys make sure that, like, all right, let's stick with it? Keep going.
We do a lot of research before we go to buildings. So we kind of filter out the ones that are
going to be. Bullshit. Yeah. And we can, talking with people, we kind of know, like,
do you really know what you're talking about? We'll try it anyway. Sometimes we don't,
I don't think we've been on a dry spell long enough to the point of
or completely discouraged because we've known what we can capture.
I was going to say, like, I feel like because you guys, thankfully,
have had these more intense experiences,
it's like you know that they're out there and you can find them.
And I feel like the haunted opportunities are endless.
It's just depending if you want to travel for them.
You know what I mean?
You guys should try to do a good amount here.
There's a lot.
It's really not that far away.
I know five hours, but like, you plan out a couple.
You make that weekend.
I know Gettysburg is a big.
one. There's just, there's a lot. There's a, there's something, I don't know what it's called
off the top of my head, but I've heard, I don't know if it's a house or an asylum or something.
It's like labeled as one of the most haunted places and it's here in Maryland. I don't remember
what that one was called, but I know that we have a good amount here that you guys have to do.
Well, we'll definitely. Yeah. You guys got to do your research. Yeah, and do a bunch.
It's interesting though, because I just feel like, you know, we're showing all of these
scary movies and things that are like over the top
with possession and like
seeing spirits or figures or the scary faces
and things like that. And I
definitely believe that stuff's real too, but I guess what makes it
difficult is like when you guys are doing that, I feel like that's, when people
that are kind of maybe not familiar
or into it as much, like, I feel like that's what they're expecting to see.
That's what they want to see. So it's the most like,
I guess, I feel like that's kind of where it would be difficult
is in the sense of it's like not enough for people.
people. Right. You know, like not enough proof for not enough this or, you know, it's, I feel like
that's what makes it hard sometimes. Yeah. I mean, we brought a skeptic onto our channel once before.
It was a good friend of mine. Okay. I work with him. And, you know, he's very religious. Like,
I never experienced anything. I think most of it's fake, this and that. I think it's, you know,
pushed to be this crazy thing. I was like, well, I could take you on one if you would like to.
And he's like, okay, I'll go. And then he, you know, went into him.
it's skeptical, you know, skeptical of all equipment, just everything about it.
Where'd you take it?
We went to the Fairfield County Infirmary over in Lancaster, Ohio.
I said it right that time.
Lancaster.
And so we took them there.
That's a place that we've had.
We've experienced seeing shadow figures, footsteps, all of our equipment going crazy,
intelligent conversations.
We're like, that's the perfect place.
We've been there probably three times at that point.
Yeah, probably.
And that was our fourth.
Yeah, that was our fourth.
It started off slow and eventually got to the point where we started getting stuff on our K2 meter, our REM pod, which is like essentially just like a K2 meter where it has a rod that sticks up that the EMF field can get manipulated to light up.
And we're getting a little bit of stuff there and we get to the end of the night and we start hearing footsteps above us.
And then he starts getting freaked out.
Yeah.
And then we go up there, there's nothing.
We sit, stand there for a couple minutes, doesn't hear anything.
So he's like, okay, it's starting to get a little weird.
And then we stick him up there by himself.
Oh, God.
And then he hears footsteps coming, like, down this deep, narrow corridor.
And he starts freaking out a little bit.
And then we're down in the basement, like doing our own little thing.
And we hear him running down the steps.
Oh, my gosh.
You guys probably look at each other, like, told you so.
Yeah, I was like, yeah, he called it early.
So did he start believing after that?
Yeah, he's like, I couldn't explain that.
There's something in there.
And there's definitely something to be said about it.
Yeah.
So like, because people online, they think the same thing.
They think, oh, it's just YouTube magic, editing magic.
But in reality, it's just what we captured.
And then when you guys go into these different places, like even just up into this point,
do you guys feel nervous and scared or are you guys excited when you go?
Okay.
So I moved into a new house.
and if you've ever done that, you know the air feels a little off at first.
Between new paint, new furniture, funky old vents, who even knows what you're actually breathing in?
That's why I got Jasper and I am absolutely obsessed.

And then, like, by the end of the night, sometimes we're like, you could see it's changed.
Does it ever make you guys feel dreamed?
Yes. Yeah. Bad. I call it the paranormal hangover.
Okay.
I mean, the next morning is so bad.
Really?
Because you've been in this building for 12 plus hours, dusty, breathing in a bunch of asbestos
and talking about you're drained, your emotions are all over the place.
And it feels like you just got hit by a truck next morning.
It's, we're out for the count.
We're not doing anything.
We have a back-to-back one coming up here tonight and tomorrow.
I was going to say, how far apart do you usually film these?
A week or two.
Okay.
Yeah.
Yeah.
It is awful the next morning.
That is, that is the way worse than being in the building.
Yeah.
It's in the whole recovery.
You don't even have to drink.
You're going to.
Exactly.
I mean, I've had some pretty crazy nights where I felt better than whenever I'm
stone cold sober doing an investigation.
But it's, it's awful.
It's, you are out for the count.
You are useless the next day.
Yeah.
So.
And then what do you guys have come in?
up. Like I said, we've been on a dry spell here. So we have... Well, you better get out of the dry spell.
I know. It's spooky season. We've got to capitalize it. That's why we're doing two here.
We got the blue ball in. We got hopefully the USS constellation. We're looking at,
was it St. Fathers or Father John's? The Recrelly at St. Reckler.
So like with any of these, do you, whatever it is. With any of these, do you, are you guys
planning to stay the night or is it just like hour, a lot of hours there? We might stay the night
tonight at the blue ball in.
Okay.
Hopefully something good and crazy happens.
Yeah.
Yes.
Okay.
So they gave you, so like a place like that, for example, they gave you permission,
like you guys rent it out, stay there, set up, and do your...
They say get out by 10.
Okay.
Okay.
Gotcha.
Yeah, 8 p.m. to 10 a.m. for like $300.
Is it just going to be you two?
Yep.
Yeah.
Do you guys typically do your investigations just you two, or you guys usually have like a crew
with you?
Just us.
We're the crew.
Okay.
Cool.
But like some of the other ones you were doing like collaborations.
other investigators. And that's always fun. Okay. And then, so when you guys go, now you're just
bringing all that same equipment that you mentioned and doing your thing. Cars packed.
Okay. Wow. I'm excited to hear about it. I hope you guys have some crazy shit happen.
Yeah, me too. We're due. We did a few investigations. We had someone call us, they said,
hey, I had this, it's a five-plex building. So they have a, we had. We had a five-plex building.
has a couple apartments and a few storefronts.
We were there for probably six hours.
We captured some stuff, like, I don't know.
Was it paranormal?
We didn't have that much, you know, like,
because we're able to say, like,
we captured something on one piece of equipment,
it could be coincidental.
I'm not gonna sit here and say it's paranormal.
You know, we didn't have anything
where it was completely unexplainable
to the point where it shocked us.
So we did that.
probably won't post anything about it because it's...
And that's the tough thing, too, is I feel like, you know,
just kind of going back to everything we were saying,
even with what I think anybody on social media
or that's making content can relate to this,
that you are putting in so much time and energy no matter what,
and there are sometimes that you just, like, can't use stuff.
And that can be really defeating, too.
And it's also, it's almost overwhelming
because we have three camera angles rolling at most times,
plus our four security cameras that we have going hooked up to our TV set.
So because you guys, I was going to ask,
when you guys are doing this, if it's just mainly you two,
are you guys just setting everything up,
like all these cameras up so that you guys don't have to worry about the equipment
for the most part and just kind of?
Well, the security cameras, yeah, we set up at the very beginning.
Okay.
Anytime we're taking a breather down at, or, you know, call it HQ,
we'll watch the TV, see if there's anything weird happening.
If there's any noise, we'll know where we're going next.
And then the other cameras, we hold their hand cameras that we go and film.
Have you noticed that phones pick up a good amount, too?
Phone cameras, yeah, it's fine.
Okay.
It's fine.
I mean, you're not going to get the same stuff that a night vision camera can,
because it's a different lighting.
But a lot of people are wanting to start a paranormal channel.
We've even talked to these people.
I need to set up, I need to afford a camera, I need to get the equipment.
Don't do that.
We just voted $100 a month.
or a month, 100 bucks each to get the basics.
And we even use the camera that we bought.
I think too, if you're going to the right places, you probably won't need much.
And we started at local free places, state park, cemeteries.
That's where we started.
And we used a phone for the most part.
And we used the ghost hunting 101 equipment.
Right.
And it worked out.
And then we just upgrade as we go.
Right.
And we've been blessed to have our YouTube channels, our TikTok channels,
to help fund get these more expensive pieces.
of equipment, these nicer cameras.
With anything, you just keep upping it and doing your thing.
The goal was to have the channel be successful enough to run itself, so that way we can
we're not taking such a big blow, but we can still give the content to the people who
really like us.
So are you guys, I'm missing me, you guys do this on the side or you do it full time?
Side side.
Okay.
And what else do, what do you guys do for work?
I do marketing.
Nice.
And I'm in finance.
Okay.
You guys are probably like at your normal jobs, like, come on, like I'm ready to do my fun stuff.
Right. But that's like, I feel like it's fun. Like if you can find something like that where you can still, like you said, even if it just runs itself and it's like a little hobby and it's, but at the same time, it's like eventually if you guys could do that full time.
Pretty cool.
Yeah. It's pretty sick.
If we had a spot on travel channel, that'd be pretty cool.
I know, right? Like, seriously. I mean, even though like I noticed too, Netflix now, they have like podcasts on there.
Like I feel like it's so many things are changing now.
But even if it was like you guys had a show on there, like that would be sick.
I mean, Sam and Colby just got a show on there.
Are those other ghost hunter people?
They're like, the more popular vlog style ghost hunters.
So they have a show on Netflix.
They started off as YouTube.
I mean, they're king of paranormal YouTube.
Really?
Yeah.
And they have, I guess, graduated.
Yeah.
No, that's sick, though.
I mean, I feel like it's a whole other realm.
And I think the people that are actually into it is what I was trying to say before
is like I think the people that are actually into it and have maybe grown up watching it,
they kind of more so understand and appreciate what you guys film and your angle and the effort
you put in.
And they would probably be interested in seeing those in between moments.
Whereas like the non-believers or like the people I think just in general, a lot of people,
the attention span is just not there.
So they're like, show me the craziest, the worst thing right off the bat.
Like, you know, which I feel like it takes a certain group to really appreciate what you guys do.
the effort you put in. And it's like that, you know, his buddy that we brought on one of our
investigations with, you know, he was skeptical. We'd have some things. I was like, yeah, that's kind of
weird. I don't believe it until the very end. We're here at the footsteps with his own ears. You can't
just go into a place for 10 minutes. All right, do your thing. Yeah. And that's what a lot of people do.
You got to devote the time. And it's, it is a painful process. I'm not going to lie, but it's worth
it. And it also depends on your energy, too. Because if you go into a building and a lot of people will
say like, oh, I've been to tens of haunted buildings and I haven't captured or experienced anything.
It's like you go into a building with this negative energy and like this ain't real, I'm not going to get
anything. You're probably not going to get anything because the spirits can feed off that energy.
They can read you like a book. And that's where I give my friend credit because he did keep an open mind.
He, you know, was participating in all the questions and it, you know, he got to experience something.
Have you guys ever tried to piss the spirits off?
Like bringing in crosses and doing the whole?
Yeah.
Sometimes they have stuff there that, like, from the time period or something happened.
Like at the Hinsdale House, they have stuff from the exorcism that they did there.
Okay.
Exorcised house.
So, yeah, it had dark history.
And they had pieces there that were, like, for show for a museum purpose.
I was going to ask, like, would you guys be open to kind of, like, messing with the spirits?
or you guys more like going and trying to just get them to talk to you guys?
A little bit of both, I'd say.
Depends on where, like he said with the, what was it, the Hensdale Hut's cross?
The cross and like there's like a chalice or something.
Yeah.
It's like if you went in there like.
Use the language.
You know what I mean?
Like power of Jesus.
And then they're just like, they start flipping out maybe.
And then usually they just give us the bird and move on.
Right.
I was going to say the only, the scary thing is, I feel like at least how you guys approach it, it seems.
Like, you guys are very, like, nice about it and respectful.
And then there's probably, like, I feel like maybe that would be a higher chance of things clinging on and following you.
Yeah.
I mean, it's, it really just depends on where the environment, we're not just going there, guns ablaze and hostile, you know.
Swinging things, you know, doing, yeah.
If we're getting threatened, yeah, we'll bite back.
Okay.
You know, try to see.
Put her foot down.
Yeah, try to see who has the higher ground here.
And we've kind of, has that worked,
we might get some threatening responses back on the devices,
but whenever we are afraid and we're showing that they have the higher ground here,
that's where, you know, you get the, we've had a rock thrown at us before,
like a physical rock lifted and thrown, and it hit, like, right here compared to, like,
where we were standing.
and it was all on camera
and it was twice actually
two different buildings
Hensdown Randolph yeah
yeah
okay so I moved into a new house

So, I mean, stuff like that has happened,
but that stuff usually happens when you let your guard down.
When you let your guard down, that's where something is bound to happen.
That's not good.
And going back to that Masson State Hospital place,
moving on in the night, we always end off our session and we'd find a room, a random room,
because we don't want to go to the same rooms that we've investigated that are hot spots or
anything. We want to go find the room that's not investigated that much because maybe that's where
they like to hide to get away from it all. And usually this room is completely based off
of convenience. Hey, there's two chairs here. We can sit down and relax and, you know, just have a conversation.
And we like to do that because we let our guard down. We're just having more, you know,
non-rushed conversation.
We're just relaxed kind of like how we are now.
And it usually brings success because it brings out those authentic conversations.
But this place wasn't good.
And like I said, they had the rituals, the satanic rituals when people were breaking into that building earlier.
We heard on two separate occasions something sprinting in the hall.
It was, we're in this room and there was a hallway going down that way.
Probably equivalent to where that door is.
Right.
And something sprinting down the hallway fast, really fast.
And we were terrified.
We look outside.
Nothing's there.
We're shaking because of how real it was.
I was going to say, do you guys get chills?
Oh, yeah.
Oh, yeah.
Especially when you hear something as real as that.
Was it an animal?
I don't know.
I didn't see any horses in the building because that's how loud it was.
It wasn't like a raccoon or anything.
It wasn't a rodent because it was too heavy.
And in moments like that, do you just want to, like, do you ever get the feeling like,
I just want to flee?
Like, I want to get the fuck out of it.
Oh, absolutely.
And the scary part is, in order to flee, you have to go towards those out.
Right, you have to go past the sprinting ghosts.
Yeah.
And then I'm like, oh my gosh.
Now, it was the same investigation that we were collaborating with.
And I'm like, I'm pretty sure they're gone.
Like, they're not in the building.
And they're definitely not in this floor.
We call them, hey, where are you guys at?
We're in the car.
We packed up about 15 years.
Right. They're also not sprinting to, like, yeah.
But we were hoping it was them.
Right.
Like for some reason, maybe they got scared and they were trying to find us.
I don't know, maybe.
And they said, no, we're in the car.
Oh, okay.
That's not good.
So we hang up the phone after talking.
I'm like, okay, this camera has 1% off.
I'm going to turn this camera off in case like something happens with the footage.
I don't want to lose that.
I set the camera down and he goes to adjust a camera that we have on a tripod.
And as he's fiddling around with the camera and you can see he is.
I'm like, because like the doorway is like right here.
Yeah.
I'm like trying to stay away from it.
I was trying to put the new mics onto the other camera that had battery.
And I'm, like, trying to plug it in.
I'm, like, ready to run this way.
And then it happens again.
And I just run straight to him.
Because, like, when stuff like that's happening, like, it's clearly active at that moment.
So are you guys in that moment trying to be like, all right, let's get this.
Let's start talking to it and try to get more?
Yeah.
Okay.
Yeah.
There's the initial shock.
Right.
The second one, though, didn't sound like it was quick footsteps.
This was, this is really where it got real because it was the,
the heavy boom, boom, boom, boom, but you're running as fast as you can.
Okay.
It didn't sound like a critter.
So you run it, you ran when you heard the second.
Yeah, I ran back to where we were.
Okay.
And then were you able to pick up with anything else, or was it just those runnings?
The K2 meter again, trusty K2 meter, just going off like crazy.
And we like to experiment as well.
There's ghost hunting apps.
A lot of people, you know, just don't believe them at all.
there, too, blah.
For the most part, that's how we are, too.
Yeah.
We're skeptical.
But we'll never use it as its own self.
We'll have other equipment with it to back it up.
We're also using that, but it's also correlating with the K2 meter.
It's also correlating with the noises.
It's correlating everything.
Okay, so everything was just aligning.
Yeah.
So it's kind of like where it's, I know it's a phone app, but this is kind of weird.
Yeah.
We don't, we're not phone at people by any means.
We like the hardware.
And you guys are hearing it in real time.
too. So it's like, that's wild. I've shit in my pants. I wouldn't be able to.
That was the, that was probably the worst one. Yeah. That was the worst one.
Like it probably felt the most. And I could pull it up for you to see it too. It's,
you know, we have everything documented. It is so scary. We're shaking. We don't know,
like, we're going to have to, we have all of our stuff scattered downstairs. It makes about,
what, 30 minutes? 30 minutes, 45 minutes to pack up everything. We want to get out of there as soon as
possible. We've gotten smart since then. We like to pack everything up before we do the last
session. So that way if we need to get out of there, we can get out of there. But no, but we're
at this giant hospital building at the top floor. And, well, aside from the attic, but we're at the
highest floor of the building, we have a long way to go until we're out in the car. And we have to
go right past where those noises were. So like, I know it's going to happen again. I know it's
going to happen. And we're walking out there. It didn't happen again. But we're like sprinting down
the hallway at that point just to get...
Oh, terrified.
I can only imagine, like, your systems, like, how much they're on overdrive when you're
in those moments.
Like, I can just imagine, because I would be terrified.
Because I can't even go to, like, a fake haunted house.
So, like, even though I'm so into it and intrigued by it, it scares the shit out of me.
So I can only imagine being in those moments, like, the fear.
Yeah.
But I'm sure at the same time, it's kind of, like, thrilling and exciting, because you're, like,
shit's happening here.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
That's the goal.
It's like what we've been itching for.
Exactly.
We hate it more than anything being in that experience.
Yeah.
But what's what we've lived for.
Yeah, the content.
You're like, this is great content.
We'll give me the fuck out of here.
Same is possible.
I'm like, why do we do this for ourselves?
Right.
Exactly.
There's always the moment of suspense too, or the sense of suspense.
Because there's so, there's, in the night, there's the dry spells.
Like, it just nothing happens.
Oh, wow.
That's sexual was kind of boring.
And then it just comes in waves and it hits and it hits hard.
to the point where like, oh, that kind of caught off guard.
And in that case, it was just brutal.
I mean, it was, because you're not, you're not necessarily just capturing things on the equipment
that everyone likes to say is, you know, wow, that's fake, that's fake, that's fake.
It was the real, you know, stuff that you can hear, you can hear the boards creaking
underneath these heavy footsteps of something that's not there.
Now, question, which you might not have the answer to, but in, do you think in situations like
that where you can physically hear a spirit running, doing its thing, do you think that that
specific location or that specific spirit is more powerful than the ones that maybe you will only
hear through a recorder after the fact? Oh yeah, exactly. And like, what do you think causes one to be
more powerful? It could also be with a lot of investigators coming to like these very haunted places
that you can run out for a weekend. I think over two,
time, you know, the more they're communicated with and interacted with, I think, the less
energy they may have. That's like a theory. But like at an abandoned place like that, maybe one
other crews are before us. I don't know. There's no document cases that investigators have
been there before us. So we could be the first crew that's been there. So that could play into it.
So decades of built up energy of just doing what they want and throwing things whenever they want.
Because I feel like there's some that probably can physically pick up objects like that rock.
And there's probably some that maybe they just don't have that ability or energy yet to do that.
Or they don't know how, I guess you could say.
Maybe they haven't been dead long enough to know how to, you know.
And it's so rare to capture poltergeist activity is what's not.
So that's what that's, that's like the term for, for if there's like objects moving around.
Physical movement.
Okay.
Of real things.
So what is it called that you got like?
like what you guys are picking up?
Residual noises, I guess, would be the term to use.
And that's just you hear footsteps that could be,
all right, let's say we're in a hospital,
hear footsteps above us.
For spirits, who knows what that hospital looks like?
Does it look dilapidated like we're seeing it?
Or does it look like back when they were alive,
when they were a worker, a patient, or something like that?
Because there's two separate types of spirits, we'll say.
Well, intelligent spirits who know they are dead
and they know the gig.
They know that we're out here, you know, sometimes looking for them.
Or they know what's going on.
And then the residual spirits who are still stuck in that loop of, I am reliving my life over
and over again.
This is the hospital.
I'm in a hospital.
I am a patient here.
And if you just hear residual noises of like footsteps and going back and forth, that could
be just residual noises.
Who knows?
But then whenever an intelligent spirit is directly answering your question,
that's how you know there's,
they're aware of what's currently happening around it.
Do you guys have any religious beliefs?
Yeah.
So are you guys Christian, you believe in God?
Yeah, Methodist.
So do you think that like they're in their own version of hell?
Like living on loop,
I feel like that's like just what that makes me think of.
Like they're trapped in like a form of hell.
Yeah, that's, that's why it's so hard to prove.
Yeah.
Because if they're reliving their life and you can kind of pick up on those noises or you can hear a voice of like, I don't know, something like, I guess a hospital patient.
So you kind of like kind of connect to.
But you hear those same things.
They're not going to answer your questions when you ask them because they don't know what's going on.
They think they're in a hospital.
Why are you asking me if I'm dead?
I'm in a hospital.
I'm not dead.
And going back to Masselin, it used to be a hospital like setting.
and we were getting responses like, I'm injured, I'm hurt.
I'm in pain.
I'm in pain.
Which also could mean, I'm in hell kind of thing.
So that, yeah, that's where it's.
It's just so sad.
Like, things like that.
Like, it's very sad that there are these spirits in this other realm and frequency that are just tracked.
It's interesting because I, I don't know if you guys know, I always bring him up.
But do you know what Dr. Joe Spenza is?
He's like a, he's more, he's very, like, science-based, but it's like he's all,
and meditations and all that good stuff.
But he's very like more, I wouldn't really consider him spiritual.
He's just more like into, you create your own reality, you can heal yourself, all that good
stuff.
But I was so curious when I was like studying all of his stuff and his research, like what he
believed in ghosts and stuff.
And I found a video, he doesn't talk about it often, but I did find a video that he, I can't
remember exactly what he said, but he basically was saying that all spirits are like these
like spirits trapped in like this different frequency.
Like, and if you don't give it the energy and the attention, you're not really going to
acknowledge it.
But it's like that's why we, like you guys were saying, you kind of experience it on these
other devices because they're picking up on these frequencies that we aren't experiencing
in this realm.
It's just all so interesting to me.
Like religion or spirituality or what's real, what's not, like in all these different
beliefs, but like, and I feel like none of them can like actually be.
proven of which one is the correct one and what's real like heaven or hell or this or that.
Where do we go?
Reincarnation.
And like I feel like there's so many questions, but I do feel like, well, I know that
besides any of that stuff, there's definitely good and evil and there's definitely demons
and there can be possessions.
And it's just so interesting to me how some people can easily just like die and pass over.
And then some people are just like getting stuck in this loop and it just makes you wonder
like what's causing that, like why and all those reasons.
And it's funny because whenever you bring up religion, which we do a lot during the investigation, just to see what their thoughts are, is heaven real?
And we also say it's hell real.
I don't think we've ever gotten a know.
Yeah.
They've all said, yeah.
Other spirits will get pretty pissed off when you say stuff like that.
Like in what sense?
Yeah.
And they're mad because, I don't know.
Are they mad because they're demonic being?
or are they mad because they didn't get to go?
Yeah, I don't want to talk about heaven.
I wasn't, you know, good enough.
I don't know.
Is that what they're thinking?
Yeah.
Yeah, that's the million dollar question.
What's the qualification if you qualify for heaven or qualify for hell or you qualify for
something in the middle?
Like, how does that, is it purgatory and how long is purgatory?
There's just so many things that you just can't answer.
But it's crazy on how many direct yeses, even if it's quiet.
And you're just trying to ask a bunch of questions.
trying to get something. Is heaven real? Yes. That's the first answer you get.
Right. It's powerful. Right. It's crazy. Do you guys ever notice that you, just after any of
these in the years that you've been doing this, that you've gotten any like scary dreams that kind of
just like follow through with you guys, not necessarily saying you guys like something followed
along with you? But I guess after the fact, has there ever been like that kind of heaviness that
has just stayed with you and it's kind of like been a little bit more difficult to shake off?
I mean, after the whole Randolph experience where I was screaming.
And your neck snapped.
Yeah. Kyle was pretty shaking up on our, like, when we came back to it a couple months later,
he was still pretty shaken up.
Yeah.
I feel like because you saw something that in the years that you've been doing this, you haven't.
It was unique.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Exactly.
I think that's a good way to put it, actually.
I felt like I've seen it all.
And that was something that really.
Especially thinking, like, someone that you're close with is like awake.
and they make a action that would typically be someone that's awake.
No, I didn't know what was going on.
I didn't know if it was, like in the moment it was so,
I didn't know if he was possessed or what was going on.
Yeah.
Looking back, I do I think, no, I think he had a pretty bad night terror,
but I think something spiked it.
Something instigated.
Yeah.
I mean, that doesn't happen.
Yeah.
Because there was a story there.
There was a woman who was there for, I think,
some sort of mental disability.
They were saying how she was at the end of the hallway on the ground screaming, on the ground, like rolling around in her own feces, screaming.
She was a mental patient.
Yeah.
Truly went berserk one night.
And whenever I think of that, I almost kind of think that that's what, like, happened to me.
Yeah, like, it was happening through you.
Because, like, I was technically on the ground.
I was probably like on a cushion like this far off the ground.
So it's like essentially I'm on the ground.
So is it the same spirit messing with me?
Like reliving that instance.
I'm just trying to show you.
Yeah.
So it's like every time I think back on it, I think about that woman.
And it kind of sticks with me.
And it like kind of makes my heart sink because it's like I don't know.
I don't like being messed with in that sense by spirits.
Yeah.
Right.
Don't mess with me.
Make yourself known.
But don't start coming into me.
Right.
Yeah.
And that's the danger too.
if you like kind of let your guard down and which you can by sleeping and that people don't really
think of when they go investigate they need to keep their guard up a little bit and be aware of what
is there and you know but that sticks with me I'm sure and I like I you know I'm like I'm like I was
saying before as well it's like I'm very big on like that feeling and the gut feeling and
that's the thing too that you won't see through a camera is like how it's affecting you guys what it's
making you feel. And I, you know, when you guys walk into a place, I'm sure you can feel,
you know, the coldness or like that just that feeling over you of like just a feeling that
you can't explain, that you can't pick up on camera. But it's like, we're not alone here or something
is here. And I feel like, yes, since you guys have been doing this and have had so many different
experiences in different environments, you guys are probably very in tune with those feelings.
And we're pretty big on like, make sure you communicate whenever something feels wrong.
because it's one thing if you capture evidence and you feel something afterwards,
okay, it's biased confirmation.
But if you're feeling something and then you capture it and prove it with the evidence after the fact,
well, that just makes a little bit more sense.
Yeah, makes sense.
And then in general, like through your years of doing this,
are there any other memorable experiences that you have that you guys want to share?
Oh, boy.
I'm sure there's tons.
I mean, there's the Hinsdale House.
The first time we went where it wanted us to use the weed you,
board.
That was actually, thank you for saying that.
That was going to be one of my questions.
Have you guys ever used a Ouija board?
Okay.
We have limits.
Yes.
I was going to say, like it seems like you guys are kind of cautious, which I honestly
like in a pagee because I think that shows like you guys really do believe in this shit
because you could open a door to some dark, dark, darkness.
And that's the thing like Ouija boards are said to open portals or dimensions or whatever.
So something asked you to use that.
Yes.
And it was, everything we captured was relating.
Where, where do we go?
Stand up, go to the door.
Well, what's through the door?
Well, go back up with a couple steps.
We were asking, what's your name?
And it said like alphabet.
Right.
Okay, so it's not, it's just maybe thorough.
You'll get stuff that just come through, like, whatever.
Yeah.
Could have been something interfering with it.
Nothing to take serious.
Okay.
It said alphabet.
Okay.
Okay. Give me an initial for a name. Board. B-O-A-R-D.
Alphabet board. What's an alphabet board?
A Ouija board. We're like, wait a minute, a Ouija board. It's a board that has a...
Yeah.
Because some of these devices will have set words that need to be triggered in order for them to...
I wonder if it wanted you guys to use that so it could get out.
Yeah, maybe. Yeah.
You know what I mean? Like, bring something in and get out. I don't know.
But Ouija board is not a word that it can, that device is able to say.
So it did the workaround, an alphabet.
Or, you know, it might not know what it actually is called.
Right.
So we're like, yeah, that's a really good point, actually.
So, okay, that's interesting, but that's not, that's not, you know, groundbreaking evidence.
So we continued the conversation.
And we said, well, what do you want to see us use a Ouija board?
And it said, walk.
Okay, where do you want us to walk? Go to the door. What's in the door? And, or I think that's where
we realized the Ouija board was. So we picked the Ouija board up. There was one in there.
They had tons of them. Okay. So we grabbed it and we put it on the kitchen table. Okay, that's it.
That's it. And then we go back to where we were. Because we were on the front porch, we had our
set up with their security cameras or watching the cameras. And then we shut the door to go back into the
house because right in the front door there's the kitchen and um we sit down it's like what do you want us
to do now yeah all right i said all right we put the wee board on the kitchen table or we we we
are we we put it in the kitchen we said all right what next or something like that so go to the
table that's where the board is we just set it down there like okay so it wanted us to go to this
go to the go to this door to get the wiji board then we put it to the kitchen table and i'd say
go to the table like oh shoot
What'd you guys do? Did you go to the table?
We opened the door, and we're standing in the doorway, and we're like, what if we don't use the board?
And it said, what, threat?
Threat.
And then that's when that rock was thrown.
Yeah, like immediately.
Guys, you needed to use the Ouija board.
I want to know what's next.
Come on, risk your lives for me here.
Okay, then that's what, then we sit at the table next to the Ouija board.
Okay.
And then essentially, it wanted us to use it, and then we didn't use it.
So if it wanted you to use it, like, how would you guys use it?
Like, it couldn't just, like, do you guys have to have, like, an object, I guess, to have?
Yeah, it's like the planchette.
I think we'd both have to put her hands on it.
Like, put your hands on it.
Okay, so you'd have to be, like, very much involved.
Yes.
You got to, like, you got to, I'm going to be honest, I don't know how to use it.
Okay.
You have to, like, open the board and welcome it in.
Okay, so it's like a whole.
And then it'll move your hand.
Mm-hmm.
So you guys, that's your limits.
You guys aren't doing wigi boards.
Because, like, you have to close it a certain way.
And we don't want to do something that we don't know exactly what we're doing.
Like what you're messing with.
Yeah.
Okay, but this one wanted you to do that.
Yeah.
And it got mad.
You think it got mad that you didn't?
And that's why it threw the rock.
Yeah.
Yeah.
And then we sat down after that and then it stopped.
Because I think it, the next step was to use the Ouija board and we just didn't.
We just didn't.
So we just, we packed up and left.
But it gave you all those instructions of what to do.
It gave us the instructions.
It said the alphabet board.
Where is it?
Go to the door.
That's where that's where the alphabet board was.
Could you tell if it was a man or a woman?
No, something.
Okay, so just a boy.
It was just dark.
It was just dark.
I guess the reason is what's the, I don't know, like, what's the reward for using the Ouija board?
It's so risky.
And, you know, if you want to do it for, you know, the content, people are in the comments
are going to flame you anyways because they're going to say, where you're just moving your
hands going to the way you wanted to say.
Yeah.
Even though it's pitch dark, you can't see where you would even.
I just saw one.
I think it was on TikTok.
They came up that now they can light up the letters.
Oh, probably.
Like where you wouldn't have to use it, but like they light up based on.
I'd be okay with that.
If they want to light it up themselves and they ain't touching it.
Oh, we're not touching it.
Sure.
Yeah.
I think that there's one like that.
I mean, nowadays with technology, you know, I think as long as you're not using things yourself or having to open anything.
Who would have to test it out and see.
Yeah, like, I'm curious if they'd be able to. I think it would go back to what you said about, like, the intelligent ghosts.
I feel like the ones that are a little bit more powerful would be better at spelling things out or doing their thing.
Going back to personal experiences at our home, my brother actually had a Ouija board.
And then he moved from his apartment to another apartment.
But he had a box of stuff that he left at our house.
Okay.
And where I am at right now, I'm connected to the garage.
and he had a box with a Ouija board in it that he used before.
I don't know what he did with it, but it was open.
He used it.
I don't know if he closed it properly, but, you know,
stuff were falling and slamming in the garage.
My girlfriend would hear like three taps on the wall at night,
and she'd like wake me up and it would stop.
And then the one day I opened one of the boxes because I was looking for something.
And the Ouija board was right on top.
It was like a movie.
And I was like, I have to do something.
about this. Yeah, I had to do something about this. So I take it out and I have a, I put a glove on.
God, I don't know where this thing's been. I don't know what's done. I put like a gardener's glove on.
I grab it. And then I take it out back and I burn it. Damn. And then I took my glove off.
I had a scratch up my hand. And it was like red and I swear to God that I had no scratch before then.
It was, I don't know if I have a picture of it.
not, but it was from like my index finger all the way up to my wrist.
Did the noises stop after that?
Was that before or after we started the channel?
It was after.
After.
Two or three years.
Wow.
I don't know how people don't believe in this shit.
If it doesn't happen to them, there's no reasonable.
It is far-fetched.
The whole thing is far-fetched.
I get it.
Yeah.
I'm not, I'm not saying that it's not, but.
Going back to our conversation from earlier, if we were to fake it,
Why would we go spend thousands of dollars at these locations?
Might as well use AI and do all the stuff now.
Stay in our homes, get some, I don't know, fish and wire or something, green screen effect.
Have people behind you thrown things.
Yeah, exactly.
It's not worth it.
And that defeats the whole purpose because our whole goal was to see if it's real.
Yeah.
I want to see how much is TV magic and how much it or not.
The only, I guess, TV magic, if you want to say it, is it does look faster pace than it really is.
Okay.
Because we have 12 hours of footage or an area.
down to 40 minutes of the best off.
But you kind of have to do.
I think anybody, yeah.
Nobody's going to sit there and watch 12 hours of footage or watch Kyle and I sit there and drink
some water, eat some snacks in between a bright minute session.
The funny thing is, though, you always ask, have you ever captured anything like a person
or like a shadow figure on camera?
And I would almost say statistically, I'm sure we had to have at some point.
But whenever we're going back and reviewing this, we're not reviewing every angle all 12 hours
of that night.
We're kind of just going through the night and we're toggling in between.
So guaranteed there's many stuff that we've missed that are deep in the files.
Yeah.
And why is that that you guys aren't going through at all?
It just takes too long.
That would take way too.
It already takes us over 40 hours to edit one video.
Yeah, that's crazy.
It's brutal.
And you guys are doing it yourself.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Luckily, we've got on a system to where I do one and then he does the other one.
Right.
Because it used to just be me to edit every single video.
It's a lot.
And that on the tone is draining.
I mean, the whole process, it can be really, really draining.
And then you get, you know, exhausted and it's like,
God, you got help me out.
Right.
Yeah.
Take turns.
Yeah.
And it's because you hear something and what was that?
Go back.
You listen to it a bunch of times.
Yeah.
Okay.
That was nothing.
Is it worth it?
Yeah.
Right.
Later that session, something, or later in the night,
something that happened three hours beforehand,
and core lines with that from three hours later,
and then you have to mesh it together to make, like,
this giant voiceover to, like, be like this,
and, you know, foreshadows.
Yeah, connected that we didn't realize it.
Right.
And maybe you think that something's nothing.
And then later on the video, wait, oh, no, that was important.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Oh, great.
Now I have to go and find it while I deleted it.
Yeah, right, right.
Yeah, it's a lot. It's like it's literally sitting back through the whole thing again,
just from a different perspective.
It's really nice whenever we investigate and then like that week we start on the video because it's fresh in our mind.
But whenever we're like backed up five videos, oh, what happened that night?
It's hard.
Yeah.
That's a lot.
Yeah.
Well, I love it.
I think it's amazing.
And you guys need to stick with it.
You guys are going to be on Netflix or wherever.
Seriously.
That's awesome.
It's been a blessing.
The people that are on the Netflix one, the other investigators you talked about, do they have very, do they do it similarly to how you guys do it?
They have a more energetic style.
I would consider them more like a vlog style.
Okay, gotcha.
But our styles are more different, I would say.
As far as what they're picking up, is it same kind of thing, very similar?
I'm not too, too savvy with what they upload.
I haven't kept up with them.
I'm just like curious.
Just, because you know what I mean?
Because everybody has different experiences with things.
It makes me wonder, like, is it, because I, even like, just thinking back when I would watch this stuff,
I mean, even when I think of the one movie I think of that always just was kind of like kept you on edge, but nothing really happened is paranormal activity.
Yeah.
Like, so I just kind of think of it like that.
So I just, I'll have to check them out too and see.
But it just makes you wonder because it's like those were always the movies.
Like I loved watching them.
But it's like you always, it's like I was like watching and be like, okay, like is something going to happen?
Is it not?
And you're like waiting and watching it and sometimes it will.
Sometimes it doesn't.
It's like it always keeps you on the edge of your seat.
Yeah.
The whole time.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah. And that's, I guess, I can't even say it's only TV, because like you'll have the moments in the night where it does keep you on here.
It is that.
Oh, I'm sure. When you're there, I'm sure it's like, like I said, I feel like your systems are on overdrive and high alert.
And it's, I mean, you're in a very, I think like, fight or flight moment that whole time.
And he was saying, like, they're vlog style.
And you know how vloggers are.
Yeah.
They're very, their personality shows.
And I think our personality shows a lot, too, in moments, just not, I guess, the same form.
It's not the same form.
So you all have investigators where it's like, I'm serious, this is a serious job.
I think you guys are more like that classic style.
Yeah, we definitely have fun with it.
Yeah.
No, I love it.
You'll know whenever we're just goofing around or you know if we're all.
Yeah.
Like, oh, shit, something's happening, right?
Especially if you guys are, like, shaking and flipping out.
And you have the nervous laughter that, you know, kicks in, like, laughing about it, like, oh.
Right.
Exactly.
No, well, I love it.
And I think, you know, like I said, when I was looking up ideas of what, because I, like
I said, this is like my favorite season and holiday and all that good stuff.
And I was like, I need to have some ghost hunters, some paranormal people on to share some
of their stories and experiences of what they have been through.
Because I feel like it's one of those things that people are just always, it's like hearing
ghost stories.
Like you're always so intrigued.
It's interesting.
It's like it's something different and it has like a light to it.
also still obviously dark and fun and put you in the spirit and the mood.
Whether you believe in it or not, if you're open-minded about it, go and truly do it.
Yeah.
Like take the time and actually be open-minded about it.
If you're super into the paranormal but you don't know where to start with a team or what,
just go with the basics.
Yeah.
A phone camera, basic equipment, don't rely on phone apps.
Just get basic equipment that's not expensive and build up.
from there. Go to your local cemeteries, your local parks, whatever it is, that's haunted.
And just get started that way. And it's, you'll eventually progress.
You'll find something or hear something. If we can do it, anyone can do it.
Yeah.
