Hey guys, it's me Devorah. I just dropped an all new bonus episode inside my new subscription
channel, We're All Insane Plus. This week's bonus episode is called My Brain was slipping into my spine.
Listen now by subscribing to We're All Insane Plus inside your Spotify or Apple Podcasts app or go to
we're all insane.com. So hi, I'm Ashley. I'll be 25 in a week and I've had multiple alien encounters.
I guess I should start about how I got to the encounters.
I'm from Brooklyn, New York.
My mom and my dad had me young.
My mom was 22.
He was a little bit older, so they got divorced inevitably.
And I moved to Jersey, and my dad moved out to Long Island.
Are you in Jersey now?
Yeah, I live in Jersey.
My mom, she was single for a while, and then she met this guy.
He was actually my, her boss's son.
It was in 2005.
I was about six.
She was working at a dance studio, and her boss's son was, you know, around the same age,
and she thought they'd be perfect.
So they forced, she got forced together, basically.
She didn't really, wasn't really interested, but he happened to be active military.
Okay.
So I remember not long after they started dating, he was in the house, and then he was gone.
So he got deployed very soon after they started dating.
And then he came back.
They got married in December of 2005, like that same year, and we ended up starting moving.
We moved all around later in life.
But our first move, my dad didn't want us to move, obviously, but my mom had full custody,
so there really was no say.
Our first spot happened to be Jacksonville, North Carolina.
We were stationed near Camp Lejeune.
We were only there for about a year.
and then we went to Florida for even shorter, maybe like eight months.
You got to go all over, though.
I did get to go all over.
And looking back, it was really hard, but I think it shaped me in a good way.
It gave me a good personality and, you know, being able to talk to people and was out there without feeling shy.
But, you know, it happens.
Right.
So I was like six when we started moving.
And then when we left Florida, I was just starting the first half of my third grade year.
And then they got the call and let's go.
Hike up.
Time again.
Hike it up.
We're going.
We moved back to North Carolina.
But this time we were out in like rural rural Villa, North Carolina.
We were in Richlands, North Carolina.
It was a small like agricultural town found in like the early 1800s.
There was nothing really out there besides farmlands, a lot of cotton and cows and corn.
I love corn.
Me too.
That's my favorite food.
It was a really nice area.
I think it was about 20 minutes to the nearest town of Richlands.
And there you only had the Pickly Wiggly, a liquor store and like a Mexican restaurant.
And then like a run down like old Main Street type feel.
But then we were about 40 minutes from the military base.
So it was a long drive from anything like technological, you know.
Right.
So we, our road was fairly new on the.
left side of the street were all brick houses one story like duplex houses all the way down maybe two
miles and then on the right side where we lived were a brand new two-story like really nice houses
all the way down the block um they ended up clearing out all the trees from the right side of the road
and built the houses each house had about an acre to an acre and a half of land on it and there's
about a half acre in between each house that's so nice it was really nice my mom always
wanted privacy when she moved. And I think this was, this was it. This is privacy. And this was all kind of
through the military, right? Like your living situation? Yeah. Okay. We always decided to stay off
based just because it was nicer schools, um, wasn't much rules, you know. It probably felt more like
a life and like a hometown, yeah, than like a slave to the military. Right. Yeah. So we tried to stay
off the base as close as we can, but still having a good life. So we ended up, um, getting this one house in
the middle, 767 Franktown Road, the most beautiful house ever. I had a huge room, a walk-in closet,
open floor plan. We had a pool, a fence. It was great. So I guess I have to describe the house
in the backyard to really paint a picture of what I was seeing. So we had like a concrete patio
in the back, and you look back into the backyard, and you see the pool on the left-hand side,
and then a strip of trees behind the fence that had a ditch in it. And you look back into the backyard. And you see the pool in,
and then a clearing.
And then on the right side, there was also another ditch.
But somewhere in the middle over here was a standalone tree that was never cut down.
It was a really tall, tall tree.
If you've ever been to North Carolina, you know these huge trees that they have.
And everything else in the middle was kind of like dead brush.
It was always weird because it's always kind of warm in North Carolina.
But all this stuff was dead.
It was all brown and dry like all year round.
It was never green.
And if it was wet and moist because it rained.
And our house was just a normal two-story house pretty big.
So we had a lot of land and a lot of space and a lot of openness.
So I guess it always felt kind of weird around the house.
It just felt like empty in the back almost.
But like before we had any type of property, like our trampoline and everything,
it just felt open and weird.
I was never used to that much land.
And I always felt like something which is like not right.
You know how like sometimes a fire alarm cast a shadow.
I would felt something was just like watching me all the time, but maybe that was me being a paranoid, like
eight-year-old, ten-year-old at the time, but I don't know. So we moved there in about 2008, I would say. I was
nine. And these encounters didn't start happening until I was about 12. So all this happened in July of
2011, but it's probably started like December 2010. And it was in the same house? Yep, the same house. It's a
fuzzy on the timeline because I was so young, but this is clear as day. Yeah. It's clear as day.
So our first encounter, a random night. I was in my room. I have a little brother, by the way,
I forgot to mention him. My mom had him when I was eight in when we're first living in North Carolina.
So we're eight years apart. So I was always like the babysitter and the big sister. So one night,
I was hanging out with him, watching him. And you hear sirens and fire alarm and fire still in trucks.
and my mom and my stepdad go running outside and our neighbors were really close with.
They're also outside.
And there's a fire in the backyard.
Of your yard?
In between my yard and the neighbor's yard behind the fence line where that shrub all that dead stuff is.
Okay.
And it wasn't really like a big fire.
It was like a low kind of like charring fire.
I just tried it as like almost like, I don't have seen like Harry Potter.
Yeah.
But when like I'm serious blacks in the logs, it's like it was like, it's like,
It's like a low ripple kind of burn.
It wasn't really spreading.
And we were the only one with a fence.
And you would think that it would spread to the fence, but nothing spread.
It was kind of like contained in that one area.
And I wasn't allowed to go outside because I had to watch my brother.
But I had a perfect view of our backyard from our two windows.
And you saw it was really like a huge circle.
I mean, maybe like the size of this room.
It wasn't too big, but maybe like 10, 20 yards across.
and I saw it.
It was there.
And no one could figure out like what happened.
They thought that we were young kids just playing outside with like the bonfire we used to have.
But no, they really didn't say anything about it.
So it was just like a circle of just like low fire?
And was it like a perfect circle?
Yeah, it was pretty perfect.
Okay.
It was pretty perfect.
The next morning my mom went outside and I went there with her and we saw it.
It kind of looked like someone took a blow torch and just kind of went around in a circle.
with it. Yeah. There wasn't really much ash. There wasn't really much, um, fire on any other
strawberry. So, okay, this is weird. Maybe like, who knows what the hell happened? We kind of just
brushed it off. Well, okay, that's weird. So after this, maybe two months later,
I'm having these weird feelings again. Like something's not right. And it's like you're pretty
young to be like having. Yeah. I'm very aware. Right. My whole family's been like,
very aware, I wouldn't say spiritually, but you know, just like aware. And I'm really in touch with
my feelings. I know something's wrong. My bed used to be on the wall, like adjacent to the window.
So there was like a spot in between my bed and then swap in between. So my head would always face the
window. And I had a perfect view of that one standalone tree from my window. And I remember one night
it just started happening. I would close my eyes and I would see these two little black figures,
almost like children-esque, like full sprint running from the tree that wasn't cut down,
through the brushes, over the fence, down the fence, through my backyard, and up my house.
And I'd open my eyes before they would get to me.
And I had almost like a drone view, like full speed.
And I played as gave it myself, like how many times I can close and open my eyes before they get me.
But it came to a time where I just got too tired and I couldn't keep my eyes open anymore.
So I ended up so long asleep.
But I wouldn't sleep for a good three months during that time.
And you were like fully awake.
It was just that when you would close your eyes, this is what you would see.
Yeah.
Like you're running for bed.
I'd be in bed.
I'd be facing the window, closing my eyes, and I would see them running.
And the same scene would happen over and over and over again.
And it would be scary.
Being like nine thinking that like I'm crazy.
Like I'm seeing these things.
I didn't tell anybody because, you know, my mom always just talked.
I felt like a hypochondriac and make things up and stuff.
So I never just like, whatever, I'll just deal with it.
Yeah.
It happened for a while too.
It happened for maybe three months.
Eventually I have my mom move my bed.
Now I'm on the wall.
That's with the window.
I stare at the fire alarm again.
And I swear to God, I see this black figure standing in my room.
And your eyes were open this time.
Yes, my eyes are fully open.
I'm staring at the fire alarm.
And I swear to God, I can see an outline of a figure.
And was it like the same?
Hey, I'm Jeremy Schwartz from American Criminal.
On this season, robbery gone wrong or cold-blooded murder?
Either way, Boston will never be the same.

It was a little bit taller.
It was maybe like door length.
Okay.
Like maybe like five, five, eight, five, ten, like six foot tall.
Okay, that's tall.
Yeah, this time it was tall.
Okay.
Yeah, and I would see him almost like every other night sometimes.
Sometimes I thought it was in my head.
Sometimes I thought it was real.
But I could never figure it out.
Did you ever, when you would see this figure, were you ever, like, very scared?
Or did you, like, get a feeling of, like, darkness?
Or was it more so just, like, I don't know what's happening.
I can remember, like, feeling it in my chest, like, I don't want to go to
sleep right now.
Like this, he, it feels like I was just scared of something.
I don't know what I was scared of, but I was scared.
So, because it makes me wonder, like, I guess for people that would believe in spirits
and ghosts and stuff like that, which I do also, but I believe in like everything.
So I think anything is possible.
But like, what makes you think, I mean, I guess maybe you'll get there.
Yeah.
But like what would make you think that it's like an alien versus.
a ghost or like a spirit or something.
At the time, I thought it was a demon and a ghost.
Okay.
Because I was, I believe in that stuff too.
Like, my first thought was, that's a freaking demon.
Right.
It's a connet or something.
Right.
Yeah, I thought there was a demon.
That's what I thought it was.
I thought he was, like, haunting me.
Okay.
And I thought, like, we had, like, old Indian burial lands that we were on and there
was, like, spirits coming.
Okay.
But soon we find out they're not.
Okay.
So let me introduce Lindsay.
She's like the key factor in this.
Like she's what makes it believable because it's not just me and my mom.
It's like a different, different person.
Okay.
She was my best friend.
And she's the type of person that you can just talk to.
It's been 10 years.
And she's just like so cool.
Yeah.
Are you guys the same age?
No, she's a year and a couple months older than me.
Okay.
But we went to the same school, gratefully.
And we were in Girl Scouts together.
And we were just best friends.
Her mom and my mom are best friends.
Like she would sleep at my house.
and school nights for days and vice versa.
We're just so close.
So one night in July, here we go, we're in July.
We're night swimming.
I have a pool, like I said.
So we're night swimming.
It has to be like maybe 10 o'clock.
I don't know why we wanted to go night swimming because we never do.
My mom is in her room.
My stepdad is in Arizona for EOD training.
So he's not home.
He has been home in months.
So it's just my mom, my brother, and me.
this night we're outside swimming and um we're just chilling and um have you ever seen a chinese
lantern like no those balls it's like a paper ball and you light it on oh yeah yeah it goes up and it goes
up to the air yes so the trees on the left hand side behind my fence line it starts there it comes up on a
diagonal into the sky and then over that right side of strip trees maybe like 50 feet you need
the air, it just disappears. I'm like, Lindsay, did you see that? You see that? She's like, yeah,
I saw that. I was like, maybe someone died. Like, maybe they're having a celebration. Like,
okay, it's kind of freaky. So we go on, we're swimming, we're playing like Manhattan in the
water. I don't know. And then where that lantern disappeared, maybe a few minutes later,
we saw red, blue and green lights dancing in the air, kind of like this, kind of like just not
like frantically, but just kind of like circling each other and just like making weird patterns.
So at this point, are like, get the fuck inside.
We go running inside.
We're like, oh my God, there's aliens outside.
And my mom thinks I'm crazy.
She thinks I'm overreacting.
Like, it's fine.
But me and my parents are like hugging each other, like grabbing each other.
And she's ghost white.
Like she's pale from chin to toe.
Yeah.
She's pale.
So my mom's like, okay.
So my military family, she grabs her gun and we go outside.
We're freaking out, we're like, yeah, we're swear to God, we just saw this.
Like, this is happening.
And I was like, yeah, right, okay, okay.
And then all of a sudden, so my road runs like this, and there's a main road that comes
this way, about four houses down.
We see the red light shoot down the main road, probably about a story and a half above the
ground, maybe going like 60 miles an hour.
Like, was it like a circle?
It was like a circle of light.
Okay.
And it shoots down the main road.
And I saw my mom's like, I saw that.
So we're like, yeah, told you.
So she's like, Ashley, go get my camera.
So I run upstairs to the office, still dripping wet, by the way, in my bathing suit from going swimming, running upstairs, grabbing the camera.
And it's 2011.
So we have this like, I think it's like a Nikon, like red digital camera and the, you know, the lens pops out.
little bit. Yeah, it's old. It doesn't do shit. Yeah. So we're like trying to point it at the sky and trying to like
take pictures of the sky, but it's black. It's, it's black. A few minutes goes by, um, and you're looking
straight out my patio and there's the tree and then like a north star. So we're looking around the sky.
Look, yeah, that's bright. That's bright. What's going on? All of a sudden, there's another north star
above that that original north star and it's getting closer. It's getting closer and closer and closer. But there's
no noise. There's no wind and it is silent. All you hear is my dog's barking and us screaming.
And it is getting close. Like I said, I have a two-story house. By the time I looked up, it was,
I could touch it. What was it? Like, it's a ship. It's a ship. By the time it got close
on a Vero's, it's a ship. How big was it? It wasn't that big. It, like the size of this table?
It was wider than my house, but smaller than an airplane.
Okay.
And it was a shape of a triangle.
It was a triangle.
And was it like could you see through it or was it like solid?
It was solid.
The sky was black, but the ship was blacker.
It was like solid black.
And all you saw was the big white light in the middle on the underbelly on each tip had a white light.
and then almost like a guide was the red, blue, and the green lights guiding the ship over our house.
So I ended up looking up and seeing it.
I freeze.
My mom has to drag me inside.
We're rallying up everybody.
We're like, get in the house.
Get in the house right now.
So we run upstairs and by mom's rooms, the master bedroom.
So we allot ourselves in the master bedroom.
And my brother, who's four, is in the opposite end of the house.
house sleeping. So we're okay. We're in the bedroom. We're freaking the hell out. Was it still over the
house? Yes, because we looked out the window and my mom has a view of the driveway and you can see the
shadow of the ship. I'm shaking. The shadow of the ship from the moon over the house. It was hovering
over my house for, I think maybe like it felt like forever, but maybe like 10 minutes. That is crazy.
Yeah, it was over our house.
I would shit myself.
I think I did.
It was terrifying.
Absolutely terrifying.
I, this is like, I mean, it's not off topic, but it's random.
I think I watched a documentary about people that have had alien encounters.
And I don't know, I don't remember what it's called, but maybe if you watched it, you
would know.
But it was like a documentary on maybe on Netflix.
And I think somebody said that they, they were abducted, but not in a way that it was
like they were grabbed and they knew what was happening.
but I think that they said they have these memories or they woke up and the aliens were like
sticking things in their belly button.
Oh my God.
And then they were like back home.
Like they do like experiments.
Yeah.
My mom actually has something like that.
But I'll get into that too.
Oh my gosh.
Imagine that.
It was really scary.
Yeah.
So we're in the bedroom.
We keep peeking out the window.
Picking out the window.
It's still there.
It's still there.
And then all of a sudden the house shows.
shakes like so hard like an earthquake it shakes so hard the picture falls off the wall like it shakes
and then it's gone it's gone just like pooh just just gone so we're like well it makes me wonder too
like what the hell's it doing over my house right like is it the house or is it like you guys like
why is it like why is it messing with us right why did it leave a crop circle why why did it give me these
visions why did it make itself known to us yeah
We have no clue what was going on.
But, yeah, I was gone.
And then I'd see, we, I'm not sleeping alone tonight.
So my friend Lindsay and I, we get changed.
We're crying still.
We grab our pillows and our blankets and we sleep on my mom's floor.
What was your mom saying?
Oh, she was freaking the hell out too.
She had the gun.
She was like, did she try to call your stepdad?
Yes.
But he didn't believe her.
Right.
Yeah.
And usually we call our neighbors.
So we called our neighbors first because we were close with them.
But ironically, she's not home.
She's feeding.
She's dog watching for her brother's dog.
Ironically.
Yeah.
Ironically, no one's home.
But my brother is still here, remember?
Hey, guys.

And now back to today's episode. So maybe like 15 minutes past, you hear him like,
like running to my mom's bedroom, like screaming.
Like there's a black figure in my room.
He's following me, but he won't come in your bedroom.
So my mom grabbed my brother and slams the door.
Ew, I have chills.
So, yeah.
Oh my God.
I feel like they entered the house.
Like it was right.
Yeah.
Like they were stopping to come check out my house.
Like, yeah, which goes back to that black figure in my.
fire alarms. I thought we'd see any there. Oh my gosh. Yeah. I have chills. Oh my god. Me too. Keep going.
I want to hear more. Now I have to watch an alien documentary after this. I know.
Or maybe not because I don't want them to be over my house. Well, I watched it. I watched and okay,
after that started a whole like obsession about space and aliens and planets and the universe and I
so you I'm sure you know a lot at this point right. You have a lot of information. Oh yeah.
Do you share too like anything that you want to and anything that you know about it because I don't know
anything. Well, it's really hard with aliens and stuff. Alien is anything not from Earth or anything
like that's not normal to us. Right. So anything can be an alien. Like do you, why do you think if you
have an opinion on it? Like that the government and whoever else like it's not really talked about
or it's something that once it like seems like it wants to be hidden. Because there's a big like it's going
to cause like a whole like hysteria. Like everyone's going to go crazy. Okay. I think the world's ending.
I don't think they're in danger.
And there's not, I don't think there's enough solid, like, evidence, honestly, to come out to the world.
Like, they are real.
Yeah, okay.
Because everyone you hear who is saying, like, I've been abducted or I've seen them, they think they're nuts.
Because they're usually from, like, a small town, a small farm town, and think that they're just trashing and crazy.
And when I started telling people about the aliens, they thought I was nuts.
They thought that, like, I needed to go, like, to the hospital.
I need to get, like, I'm, like, delusional.
So I just don't think it's a good thing that they keep it secret.
If they are keeping it secret, I have no fucking clue, honestly.
Right.
I just think that it's better to be left unsaid.
And what you don't know won't kill you.
You know, like what you don't know is not going to hurt you.
Yeah.
But I feel like they make themselves known to people that they want them to see.
Like, see them.
You know what I mean?
Yeah.
But like lately, there's been a lot of videos of ships and stuff.
Like, remember the one in, was it, like, Nevada or California?
Like crashed in the, in that backyard.
Yeah.
Yeah, I don't know.
I don't believe that.
Okay.
I don't believe that.
Just because what I've experienced.
They're not going to crash.
Yeah.
And I've seen, yeah, they're not going to crash unless they got shot down.
But, like, in Independence Day, so that's not happening.
Yeah.
Yeah.
So I started a whole obsession and everything.
Um, we thought we were in the clear.
We thought we were good.
We thought like, it's over with.
That was just like a phenomenon.
That was crazy.
until my mom, she had an actual, like, closer encounter than just a ship.
So my mom is a very heavy sleeper.
She sleeps on one side of the bed and she doesn't move all her life.
She doesn't move.
My dad is also deployed again.
He's back in training.
He's never home.
As you can tell, he's never home.
So one night she's sleeping and she wakes up and she is laying diagonally.
across her king's-sized bed, like laying on her arm like this.
And she can't move and she can't talk.
And all she can do is open her eyes.
And she sees the giant black figure standing by her dresser by the door,
just watching her, just like standing there, like not moving.
He's not really moving around.
He's just kind of standing there.
So she's like trying to like, you know, like get out of it.
Like wake up, get out of it.
And eventually she does wake up and she turns all the lights on.
But she's an excruciating pain where she was laying.
Sometimes when you lay in your arm, you get tingles, but like it wouldn't go away.
I remember for a month she was going to doctors and physical therapist and she got painkillers.
And like they gave her like antipsychotics.
I thought she was crazy.
But they couldn't find anything in her x-rays.
Comes out, she's having these dreams.
She's looking over her window onto the garage floor and seeing the two little figures again.
But like looking up at her from the bottom of her window.
She's having these dreams, like over and over again.
Like you were having.
Mm-hmm.
But except they're not running into her room, but they're coming up the garage, like, looking at her.
I remember we were in, we were in Disney, and the pain was so bad that she couldn't even walk around Disney.
Like.
And it started after that one night.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Sorry, Mom, but it kind of ruined the trip.
But yeah.
Just a little.
Just a little bit.
And so, yeah, that happened.
And then one night, like I said, my mom doesn't move.
one night I hear the alarms go off in the house.
We have a, we have like a security alarm in the house.
And I find my mom on the back patio.
She's on the back patio, just standing there.
And I'm like, Mom, Mom, what the hell?
What the fuck's going on?
We have mom.
She wakes up.
She was, I just had a dream.
I was on the back patio.
I'm like, you're not dreaming.
You're right here.
She said that she was, she had this dream that the black figure,
she had her arm out like this.
She had a dream that the black figure was touching her
arm and when he disappeared it was gone that's when i that's when i like woke her up and she said that
she was having a dream that this black figure was taking away her pain and that's where she was on the back patio
getting her pain taken away and did it go away yeah she didn't take any pain pills any more
antipsychotic pills after that it was just gone it was just gone that's wild it was just gone it was
months of torment too like months it was bad and then just one night gone when it was like in
when she had that realistic dream but she was actually outside like she wasn't in bed anymore
she was actually outside and i woke up because the fire because the alarm was right
system was on wow it was weird like she was walking back to where we saw the ship it was weird
right it was weird and it's interesting too because it's almost like it's almost like it's almost
Like it wanted to show her like, I don't know.
Like, we can hurt you or we can heal you.
Yeah, literally.
Like, maybe they were like running tests to see like what hurt people and what didn't
and like what could be detected and what couldn't.
It was weird.
I'm not speaking for their intentions, but that's what I thought.
That is wild.
Yeah.
She never had anything like on the ship or anything because like it didn't happen to her, I guess.
But she just had that happen to her.
Jeez.
And how old were you at this age?
I was 12.
Okay.
So you're so.
young. My mom was about 34, 35. She's pretty young too. After that, we thought we're in the clear.
Again, without we're in the clear, we're just going to go on with our lives. So now I'm in my bed.
It's still on the wall. It's not next to the window anymore. But I have like a trophy shelf
kind of thing. And I'm on my computer. I'm on a computer. My stomach drops because the house shakes again.
it's it I'm like and I'm like oh my god the ship's back
the shit they're like they're back no way so I throw my laptop I run downstairs and my mom's
already sure I felt that I'm like okay so like what was that because with the shake we heard like
crashing like boom we're like what the fuck yeah so we open our front door and um we have two tin
recycling cans on like the side of the house like not in front of the
the garage on the side of the house and they're filled with um beer cans and dog food and canned goods
so they're actually thrown across the driveway and onto the front lawn so it had to come around
the house to get onto the yard and ironically we have a single tree in our front yard to just like
the one in the back kind of almost in line with it now that i'm like thinking it's like almost in
line with it. And you saw all the dog food cans and they only used the dog food cans. Everything else
was still over there. They only used the dog food cans and they were all pointing the same way,
like the openings, like someone had OCD. They're all pointing the same way, all kind of mapped out
along the, along the grass. The lid was in the middle of the front of the driveway and the can was in the
ditch. So we're like, what the hell is going on? So the dog food cans, they were like,
specifically placed.
Yeah.
It's not like it was scattered,
like the wind took it.
It's like they were laid down like this and this and this.
Like all the openings facing the same way.
Like facing the house.
Like lined up.
So we're like, what is this?
So again, I grabbed the camera.
Nothing to see.
I go upstairs to the office with the view.
Nothing to see.
It's too dark.
It's like 10 o'clock at night again.
And did these things only happen at night?
Yes.
Only happen at night.
Nothing during the day.
It was all at night.
I mean, you can't see them, maybe?
Like, then, I don't know.
But if you kind of looked at the can and looked up at the sky and looked at the can,
we looked at the sky, it was almost like they were marking, like, the stars in the sky,
kind of based around the tree, almost like a map.
It looks like a map.
That's what we called it.
It was like a map of the night sky.
It's interesting because maybe that, like, where they built your house, specifically,
like that area at one point was something.
That's what we went on.
Yeah, because.
you said it was new construction.
I tried doing research before I came here and I couldn't find anything.
Yeah.
Well, maybe it wasn't something on the record, but for them, it was something.
Yeah.
A long, long time.
Yeah.
It was crazy.
And of course, my mom's like, I'm picking this up right now.
I'm like, no, don't do it.
You're going to make them mad.
You're going to make them mad.
And she's like, no, I'm like, Ashley, it's fine.
I'm going to pick them up.
I was like, okay, fine.
She picks them all up and puts them back and it was over.
nothing else happened again until um a few months later i'm with lindsay at her house and this is actually
daytime this is she live in the same neighborhood yeah she lives about 15 minutes from me she was on this
long dirt road um yeah at the end of this dirt road and it's about 15 minutes from town um but at the time
we were both track runners so we trained together um like we always do we always ran we always run the same
loop, everything. One day we're running. It's after dinner, before dinner, so maybe around like five or
six. It's hazy. It's like the sun setting. We're going up and we come across this like old
construction that's always there. And all of a sudden, it's like a piercing sound like,
like, very piercing in my ear. And I'm like, what the hell? I'm like, ow, it hurts so bad.
I lose like some of my hearing in my ear at the time. It goes into my ear. It's just, like,
dog down my neck. It's excruciating pain in this sound. So we're like, what is that?
Like, did she hear it too? She heard it, but it hurt me. Okay. It hurt me. So we're like, oh my
gosh, so we're running back home. We're running back home. We didn't even think to look up.
I'm just getting the hell out of here. Like, I know what's going on. I'm getting hell out of
here. So we ended up running about maybe two more miles back home. And we're at the house.
I told her parents with everything that happened.
They're like, oh, okay, well, you're okay now.
It's fine.
After dinner, we go outside again to sit on her shed like we always do.
It's probably about 637.
It's like dusk.
And there it is.
There's a ship.
Really?
We're staring at it.
It's over her neighbor's house, like across the street like this way.
The houses are this way.
We're looking at it this way.
And it's over her house again.
It's there.
Like, I.
I'm not.
So this time it was over somebody else's house.
Yes, but I think it was like tracking me almost.
I think it was like coming for me almost.
It was crazy.
How close was it to where you guys were?
Pretty fucking close.
Okay.
Pretty close.
Like the neighbor's house is maybe like normal distance away and it's there.
And what did she say?
She didn't see it because it was outside.
Okay.
So I run inside.
I grabbed.
Oh, you were outside by yourself.
With her, with Lindsay.
Okay.
And her parents are inside.
So we jump off the shed.
But she saw it.
Lindsay saw it.
Yes.
We both saw it again.
We both saw it again.
So we run back inside and we try to go grab her parents.
And by the time we get outside, it's gone again.
It had to be maybe like 30, like 45 seconds.
But the time we got to the ground and they got outside.
What did they say?
They were like, why don't we ever see it?
Like how come it just you two only seeing this stuff?
But I think that was actually like the last time it ever like showed itself again.
because after that I moved.
Wow.
I ended up moving out.
I ended up moving away.
And was that because of your stepdad, like with the military?
Okay.
Yeah, we got stationed to Virginia.
And what age was that?
Were you still 12?
13?
Yeah, I was 13.
Okay.
I was 13 at the time going to Virginia when we left.
And have you had any encounters since?
Not that I believe.
I don't think so.
So it was only there at that house?
It was only there at that house.
Wow.
Yeah, and like that little area of Richlands, North Carolina, I guess.
I really think what it sounds like is that that land or something, it was something.
It was like tainted.
Yeah.
Yeah.
And I feel like maybe that's where they landed their ship before or something.
I don't fucking know.
Yeah.
But they didn't like the house was there.
They were probably trying to rattle it to see if they could move it.
Like get off my yard type thing.
That is crazy.
Yeah.
We always called that big tree in the back.
the tree of life.
Yeah.
Because it never got torn down.
Right.
But we were there for four years and nothing ever grew.
Like where everything got torn down, nothing ever grew.
And we were always so scared to go back there.
Like people, I was asked like, did you go to the tree?
And like, I was too scared.
I didn't want to go back there.
Yeah.
I wanted to, but I was so scared of what I might find or like what I might not find.
Yeah, but now I was going through Google and it's full of trees now.
It's all green and like it's all back.
Yeah.
But when I was there for four and a half years, nothing ever grew.
That is wild.
Yeah.
And then you said that you like had an obsession and like started researching.
So when you did that, was there anything like interesting that you found as far as like space goes or aliens or like any research that I guess has been confirmed?
or like things that you believe in.
Well, I believe that there's life, obviously.
Yeah.
I just, I think they're so advanced.
And like, even if they're not human, there's something.
Right.
There's something.
I believe that this universe is so vast and so deep and so open that anything's possible.
Like, us as a humans, we can't wrap our heads around space and time because you just can't.
Because then you'll just fall into this like.
Yeah, I've thought about that too.
It's like if you start to try to break things down and think you can.
It drives you nuts because there's like never an answer and it never ends.
It doesn't.
It never ends because we're always discovering something new.
We're always looking for signs of life or different planets to inhabit because I believe we're going to run this planet out.
Like we're going to run it out and it's sad because she's been here forever.
But I mean, we're destroying her.
Like obviously.
And I think that it's, we're looking for something that might not be there, honestly, like in this solar system.
Yeah.
I know that they say Mars is always our closest planet, but you have to like physically make an atmosphere there.
You have to physically make life.
But I feel like if we keep going deeper, I mean, you might find it.
But that's not going to happen until long after we're gone.
Yeah.
Long, long, long.
I think Jupiter's moons are also.
candidates.
They have a lot of gravity
and there's like ice, like frozen water.
Yeah.
If we can get an atmosphere there too, maybe.
That would be a possibility.
But it's just so wild to me.
Yeah.
Like all, I'm just like in shock.
You know, this is, it's funny, but people talk about Bigfoot.
I was telling my cousin.
This is my big, my big story.
But no, I, people always talk about Bigfoot.
And my mom and I, we used to watch like,
finding Bigfoot and whatever else.
Yeah.
That's the time to take them off.
I just fell off.
We would always watch that together and like laugh about it and joke about it.
And I swear to you, like I was in high school.
I was in maybe like 10th grade, I think or 11th grade.
And I was with one of my really good friends at the time.
And we used to always sneak out.
So like we would, you know, and we could, none of us could drive at the time.
I think our friend lived on these back roads and he had like a scooter.
and it was supposed to be only like a one to two person scooter
but the three of us came picked us up we crawled out of the window
we're all like wang the scooter down going really slow
driving to our friend's house
so we went there we all hung out and we were leaving
and it was me and my girlfriend and we were waiting for the guy
who drove us to come back to the scooter
and like I said he lived kind of in a not in the middle of nowhere
but it was like a lot of land a lot of trees a lot of woods like backroads
and we all walked to the scooter
and our friend I think was like oh hold on I got to grab something or maybe we were walking up to it
it's this years ago but my girlfriend and I like we were in his yard and he had like a fence
and then it was the road and then it was like trees and uh um what's called a street light shining down
but it's pitch black and dark swear to god it was a fucking what looked like albino bigfoot
no way and like it was so fast but her and I both saw it.
it and it was literally like it was tall.
I don't want to say it was like so furry but it was like white but not like not like
skin it was it looked like it was like some type of like fur or something yeah but not like
fluffy but it was just tall and it was like under the light and then in the woods gone and her
and I looked at each other and we both saw it and we were scared as shit and I don't know what
else it could have been but it wasn't human and it wasn't a fucking.
an animal.
Like it was bizarre.
And to this day, like, I'm sure, like, we're not, we don't really talk anymore.
But, like, if I called her, like, she would know.
And, like, throughout the years, we always both said.
Like, we both saw it.
Same thing.
And, like, your eyes don't lie.
Right.
Your eyes don't like.
There's something.
There's, I don't want to say there's something.
There's so many things that I feel like you can't explain.
Yeah.
And that I don't know if we're, like, in your case, I feel like, like you said, like,
it was almost like you were meant to see it.
Like, they revealed themselves to you, obviously.
But I feel like in other random cases, it's like you come across these things that you can't even like understand or like you said wrap your head around and you never forget them.
And you might never see it again, but it's like it happened and you don't know how to explain it or what it is.
And unfortunately, people think you're fucking nuts.
I tell the story all the time and I have a horrible memory, but I'll never forget it.
But people think I'm a nutcase.
But I fucking saw a big foot.
And he was there.
And you know what you saw.
Yes.
And like it's, it scared us.
We were scared and we were young, but it was there.
And it's just so interesting.
Like I love to hear things like this because I feel like, like I said, everybody thinks
it's crazy.
And like of course, like now that we have TikTok and social media, you really never know
what's edited and what's real and what's fake.
And it's funny.
My mom always says like, oh, that's Photoshopped or this at the other.
So it's my boyfriend.
Yeah.
Like, and a lot of things probably are and a lot of things are just fake.
And I feel like we live in a world now where it's hard to believe what you hear and see, like, online.
Everyone just wants views.
Exactly.
So that's what I'm saying.
So it makes it so difficult.
But I think it's so intriguing when people have these stories or when you firsthand see something, obviously, like, as long as it doesn't hurt you.
And it's not like fucking scaring the shit out of you.
But it's just, it's so intriguing to me.
And it's interesting too because, and some people do and don't believe in ghosts and spirits.
But I think that like that's something that I know is very.
real.
And I feel like it's interesting because it's almost like there's more validity in that
than there is things like aliens or like other, which is weird because if you really think
about it, they all are like not technically like human.
So it's.
But I just think that like demons and angels and spirits are more talked about and less
controversial.
Yeah.
Just because it's more normalized in society and like religion.
Okay.
That makes sense.
Yeah.
Unlike aliens, we're just kind of like, oh, like, sci-fi, like, may or may not be real,
but people actually believe in spirits and angels and ghosts and stuff.
I think that there's a lot of things that happen in this world that if you can't explain it,
then it probably isn't something that can be explained.
Like, you know what I mean?
It's not something that has been talked about or has a lot of, like, knowledge or information about.
And I'm like, I'm fine with it.
I just think it's intriguing.
I think it is, too.
Like that is wild.
It's my long time obsession hobby.
Right.
Ancient aliens that show on the history channel.
Maybe I'll watch it.
BBR.
Yeah.
No, like it's so intriguing to me.
And I feel like there's so much obviously that we don't know about.
And it would be interesting like if somehow you guys, not that you would do this, but if like,
is there somebody else living in the house, I'm sure?
Right now.
Yeah.
Yeah, I was sold.
Like it makes me wonder, is it the same?
Can you tell if it's like the same?
like the same people that bought it from when you guys moved out um if you go on like on a zillow yeah
because i was going to say like i wonder if the people that live there now like have had any
i wonder that too experiences because i left like my family left um are very close neighbors that was
right watching they left yeah everyone left the role military so everyone who was originally there
is no longer there anymore right and it makes me curious because it's like if things were still
happening, I feel like that would kind of solidify like, okay, it's probably that area,
it's probably the land.
And then if not, it's almost like, well, and it might not be because now that you said,
like trees have grown and stuff.
So who knows?
I'm just thinking it was like a phenomenon, like a once in a lifetime.
And this was years.
And I can't believe you haven't had any experiences since.
No.
And you never had any before, right?
No.
I mean, I look at the sky now.
I'm like, oh, I wonder what's out there.
Like, I look up.
I'm like, huh, like, is that a ship?
Yeah.
It's my time again.
And it is, it really is like crazy that you and your friend and your mom all and your brother.
My brother.
Does he remember?
Like, uh, no.
He was too young.
Okay.
And that shit was garmy.
I think I'd remember.
I think he remembers like us being crazy about it.
Okay.
He's like 17 now.
Yeah.
Yeah.
He was four.
So I think he remembers us being crazy about it.
But my, my friend, she remembers like, to this day.
I think I texted her about it a couple years ago.
And she still was like, yep.
Yep.
That happened.
Yep.
Oh, gosh.
Well, that was so intriguing.
Seriously, like, I loved that.
Yeah.
Oh, my, like, now you have me wanting to research.
Yeah.
You should, I mean, it's a black hole, man.
Like, once you start.
Yeah.
I mean, like you said, everything with space and the universe and, like, and that's only
one part of it.
Because then if you go into, like, if you deep dive into different religions and, like,
all those go way back.
And it's just, it's crazy to me.
But space has always been something that has intrigued me.
Because if you really think about it, like they say there's so many things.
different atmospheres and then we don't even know what's out there and it's like there could be a
whole other type of something and we don't even have no no idea yeah fun fact actually you know how
they believe that the pyramids were built by aliens okay well they're now believing that we had a
recession in our technology like we were actually technologically advanced at one point
from their help but then we felt we found this like technological like recession and that's why we
can't figure out like how yeah all these like monuments and like all these like macho pichu and all that
shit was made like we can't figure it out but we think that we had help like a technological jump
but then when they left we found it's kind of like recession and we had to start back over
that's what's been kind of going around now yeah well I definitely think like you said it's funny
how you mentioned the the ship crashing like the one I agree like I feel like they are probably
so, so, so advanced, beyond what we can even imagine.
Why would you crash land in someone's like backyard?
I really just don't think they would.
No, they wouldn't, right?
And it's interesting how the media has made us believe what aliens look like.
Like if you say alien and you think of an alien, you think green or you think like...
Martian head.
Like literally, like we have these thoughts of what we think it is and even like the ships.
Like we think just like the round ship.
So it was very interesting that you said like the triangle.
That is so crazy.
I'll never forget that sign.
The lights were so bright.
But like you would, it was, it's not like the boof white.
It's just like like this.
Wait a second.
I have to show you videos when we stop this because my best friend.
Her mom was on here.
She was the medium.
Yeah, I loved that one.
Okay.
So she has sent me so many videos.
She believes in aliens too.
And like she sees stuff in the sky.
And I'm 95% sure it's those colors.
red blue and green or red blue and yellow I almost want to like call her after this so that you can talk to
sure that would like love it yeah oh my gosh yeah I swear she sees it all the fucking time well some of them
are airplanes I've learned to figure out like what an airplane which is my I'll show you the videos
because I'm I honestly if you like wait around for five minutes I'm going to call her because yeah
she would love it I know if she would um but no you did amazing thank you so good I
Thank you for having me.
Of course.
I loved this so much.
This was so intriguing and fun.
Yay. I was worried you wouldn't find me interesting.
No, I had so much fun.
Like I like, like for me, these like kind of stories, they make my jaw drop and they're so intriguing.
So thank you so much.
You're welcome.
