I don't know how a video game. I've heard they're very good, but I don't know what that means. Judging by this movie, they are not. Yeah, I have heard they are good. Yeah, President Evil too. Yeah. Is it good? It's supposed to be really good too. The movies are the video game. They need like eight of those movies. I liked the first Resident Evil movie. I never saw. What we could do it sometime? Maybe. interesting. Yeah they basically condemned everything and then there there was some lawsuit a couple years ago that allowed the last,they die. Yeah. Because why they, I guess you know, you live on the land, you live on the land, right? Yeah. There's a really good documentary about it. Yeah. About a guy who mows all the lawns there. Wow. Okay. But yeah, so silent ill, based in reality. Ah! This movie, oh my god. well it gets right into it for a movie that's more than two hours long. Did you feel, so this movie, yeah it does get right into it so much so that I felt like

when I was streaming it, it fucked up and missed the first half hour of the movie. Yeah, there's just no exposition whatsoever. None. None. None. It's also like a decent concept. There's a little girl who's adopted, thapapapapapapapapapapapapap. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. thi. thi. It's, I, I's, I's, I's, I's, I's, I's, I's, I's, I's, I's, I'm, I's, I's, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the, the, the, the, the, th. It's a little girl who's adopted, she's been sleepwalking and yelling about a town, and her mother wants to take her to find this town to like find her all her past.

Okay, fine, sure, I'm in. She's doing the disturbed kid drawings, which I wish we had a running count of. I had no idea why they were going looked on that pit and saw the face, which was the dumbest thing I'd ever seen. Not saying a lot, given that we were in episode 111. Given that we see the Wickerman, remake. It also felt like it was the first time she'd asked the child about it, which was like, I don't know.

Oh that's right, when they were like, by the tree. Yeah. She's like, why do you do? Well, like, get this kid to therapy. I think Sean Bean probably wants to take her to therapy. Sean Bean wants to do something. He has nothing to do in this movie. Why can't he come? Why can't he go with them? So they're on their way to Silent Hill, which in this is in West Virginia because it's scarier than Pennsylvania. I think we can all agree on that. Yeah.

Some deliverance shit. Sure. And they're stopped by a cop who is wearing head-to-to-toe leather. Sexiest cop ever. She is like, first of all, she's a Marita Covahubius for UX Files fans. Oh. She's also on The Walking Dead. Yeah. She is like literally a hot cop from Arrested Development. Like she is not a person in a position of authority.

She looks like she's dressed like Rob Halford, the singer of Judas Brist as well. Yeah. And the mother, whose name I already don't remember? No, gone. Yeah, it doesn't matter. I feel like she should have a name. We should give her a name. All right. Because we're going to talk about her. There's only like three characters in this movie. I just have the cop written down as leather lady-lady-law.

Leather-lady-law. Um, I really almost there. All right. Rose. Rose to Silva. Rose to Silva. So she's got the kid in the back seat. She gets pulled over by the cop who was like a little suspicious

because the kid was freaking out at the gas station. Just fucking runs. Why would you run? You haven't done anything wrong. Why would you run? It doesn't make any decision that anyone makes it. Like even when the cop is like being suspicious of the little girl freaking out the gas station. I think she thinks she's being abused or something. Fine. She is suspiciously staring at them before the little girl starts freaking out. It's true. It's true. It's like the liquid Terminator from Terminator 2. When mom stops at the gas station, Rose De Silva, she asked the Surly Teen who works there where Silent Hill is, because it's not on any of the maps. Why would

it be it's a ghost town? How would she know where it is? It's not on any of the maps. How did she even get to there? Exactly. I'm just driving to, yeah, then that's, I get, oh God, I don't even know what the fuck happens in this movie. I don't either, and this is the second time I've seen it, I saw it in the theaters when it came out. What? I lived right by the movie theater. I saw a lot of dumb And now that we're discussing it, I don't think I've ever seen it. No.

Yeah. I have what is going on written multiple times throughout my notes. So their mom speeds away from the leather lady law and wrecks the car. She makes only bad choices. Right. They wrecked the car because somebody runs out on the road who looks exactly like her daughter. Right. She, I guess, comes too, and she's in this, she's in the car, it's wrecked, it's really foggy outside and her daughter's missing.

And now it's snowing. Yeah, but it's not snowing. It's not snow. And see, I'm on board at this point. This is fine, this is great. Even though the town is CGI-eyed? Yes. When she first shows up in the town, it's not there. It's not there. It's a green screen, yeah. Yeah.

Is that what it would be a green screen? Sure, sure. OK, good. Also, the child Sharon and she keeps going, Sean, Sean, and I was like, is this child's name Shan? I don't know what you're saying. Maybe she's doing an impression of Ozzy from the Osbournes. Maybe. I do have, there is a Nick Cage level of yelling in this movie.

A lot of yelling. And it's just, there's nothing, none of it makes any sense. She finds herself in this sort of dark, the dark and just pulls out her zip-out. Why does this lady have a zip? You're a suburban housewife mom. Like, what are you doing with it? You don't smoke? Why does anybody have a zip? If they don't smoke?

I don't know. I don't know. I do like a lot of the overhead shots. I do like a lot of like a video game effect, but I really liked that. I like the website that she was looking at for Silent Hill that said, it's a town in West Virginia, a ghost town. The tainted town. Ew. That's weird and gross. Speaking of weird and gross, when she gets there's weird, like, thiii's weird, like, their firffewlip.... th. th. th. th and th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. thixts, thixts, thixts, it's their their thixta'a'a'a' tha's tha's tha's a thaa' thaa' thauilet's thaa' thaa' thea' tian tian tian tian tian tian towlite's a towlite's a towlite's a towlite's a towlite's a towlite's a towlite's towlite's to towli. It's tooom. It's tooom. It's a toombite toom. It's a to-s. It's a to-s. to-s. to-s. It's to-s. It's to-a'a' of them? Yeah, there had been like just one, I think I would have been on board. Because they keep getting shittier looking as more overcoming. Yeah.

Like they were using up too much RAM on the computer to generate them. That's a thing, right? Yeah. I feel like my notes are jumping around all over in this movie, but it might just be the movie. I think it's just a movie, because like next she meets the woman, the only other person she meets for a while is the woman, the disheveled woman with a long cloak. Yeah. Because if I ever become a crazy disheveled lady, I'm definitely getting a super long cloak. Oh yeah, the one who looks likethat she has lost her daughter too. So that's of import, I guess.

At this point I'd gone and, like I was so confused that I stopped the movie and went and read the synopsis. Okay. And it talks about Sharon being sick. Yeah, she didn't seem sick. And it's never said earlier in the movie. Something I read, I think it may have been on Amazon, it was like a mother who refuses to accept that her daughter is dying. And I was like, that kid's not dying, she's just sleep walking.

You fools. I, she wasn't sick, she wasn't, she's fine. I mean, she might have needed intensive therapy. But that's not the same thing. So then we see the cop. The cop has also wrecked on her motorcycle. Right. And she's now in this like weird world too. Right. I guess you can only get there if you wreck. Well I think that's shown later. Okay, explain it to me. I think they're dead. Oh yeah. I think they're dead as soon as they're in Silent Hill, in that version of Silent Hill. Because Seen Bean, Sean Bean, sorry, threw it in there. I don't think you can do it.

I don't think it's going to fly. Sean Bean goes and is bribing people to find out where the town is. Yeah. He's TIG in Sons of Anarchy? Anyway, it doesn't matter. I don't like that because I don't really like motorcycles. And the cop is immediately like, all right, well, just coming to the town and let's look, because some weird stuff's going down. All right, what the fuck is going on? Like, this isn't what cops do? No, no, they don't just take the husband of the missing person and be like, well, I guess you can come to this ghost town and help me look for her. She thinks she's in the school because she'd seen a drawing of a school. Okay, fine. I guess that kid doesn't go to school, IRL, but whatever. Apparently not it just runs around million feet tall waterfalls. Yeah. Is this before, after Meat sack Man shows up? Meat Sack Man. There's like the CGI, Meat Sack Man that's like stumbling around and chasing mom and the lady law for a little while?

Oh, I think after. Because she's handcuffed for a while there. Oh, that's right. Because this is where the cop shoots her and mom runs off to find the school. Yes. The meats. MeetSec Man was before the school. There's a weird thing on the wall in a public school. It was just like, you know, Silent Hill Elementary or whatever, and it just was like written on a big plaque on the wall that just said foes of righteousness will be condemned. My high elementary school did not have that kind of thing.

Mine said shit like reading is fundamental. But fun and demental was hyphenated because it's a pun like that. And so the mom starts seeing flashbacks of things she's never experienced, which as you know, I hate. What were the flashbacks? She's like having the flashback of like in the bathroom, the little girl. Oh, right. Yeah, but she wasn't there. She has nothing to do with her. Yeah, I don't know what the hell was happening.

And like the, then the, the coal miner looking like, like, dudes and the suits that are, have the canary with them? Yeah, they're like wearing biohazard suits and they have a canary. But are they real? conceits of this movie is an air raid siren goes off and then it becomes like fake world and all these fake monster guys come out and then the air raid siren does it go off again to indicate that the world has gone back to normal? That's where I was kind of like what? I think so but so the the coal miner guys in the in the biohazard suits and like the steam punk biohazards are carrying a canary with them th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. this th. th. this th. this th. th. th. the movie the th. th. th. th. th. th. the the the th. Is is is is is is the the the the the the the the the th--up. Is. Is. Is, the the the the the the the the the thi, thi, th. Is. Is, th. Is, th. Is, th. Okay, okay. That's cool, I guess. I guess, but the airyid siren seems to give you more than enough time to get to what you need to be. The canary is just superfluous at that point. All right. I's, th. Yeah. Well, I don't know. In the bathroom stall, too, she finds that weird desiccated corpse, which I thought was kind of scary. But she just knows to look in his mouth for something. Well, there was an arrow pointing down to it.

Was there? Well, that's better then. Total video game. Like, there's a lot of little nods to the video game and I assume I'm never playing the video game but it felt like like there's the scene where she has to like jump over there's girders that felt like you were playing Tomb Raider. Yeah I actually kind of like that stuff it's I feel like it's sure a nice little something different I don't know trying to be nice but like okay so the area it's iron goes off and all of a sudden it's bad guys again and you see the pyramid the pyramid the pyramid the pyramid the pyramid the pyramid the pyramid the pyramid the pyramid the pyramid the pyramid the pyramid the pyramid the pyramid the pyramid the pyramid the pyramid the pyramid the pyramid the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the their their their their their their their their their the the the the the the the the the their.e. What is he doing? What is his backstory? Why is he mad? What have these questions become answered? None of them? Yes, a couple questions get answered near the end of the movie. You may have to answer them for me. OK, great. the paint peels up and like floats up and then everything kind of turns bloody and rusty. And the guy that she'd found where she pulled the thing out of his mouth, hops out and he was just like moving around on his hands because his legs were barbed wired to his mouth and I was like, Oh, that's gross. Yeah, it's very very gross throwns in this. Um, you didn't you didn't think pyramid had guys scary? I didn't because immediately looking at it. I was like, you couldn't do dick shit with that pyramid on your head. Like you'd be like, oh, they ran around the corner, bang, I'm in the wall. Thuck! What's going on? Why is my base so wide?

He should be slamming into everything and then like the crick that you'd get in your neck from carrying that thing under his head. I don't know, he's pretty buff. He was really buff. Yeah. His fake muscles were amazing looking. the cop who apparently is running out of ammo but doesn't use it wisely by like I don't know aiming her gun just wildly firing at everything all right but at this point the cop only likable character in this movie yeah poor marita coverubias nothing good ever happens to her is that the

actresses name or the character from the ex-os she's like an informant to agent Mulder but then some bad stuff happens to her. No, I mean, but she also double crosses the double crosses a double cross. What? Yeah. You cannot trust Marita Covarubius. Also, like, who the fuck wrote that? Marita Covarabius, it's so good. Chris Carter. So good.

Okay, so then we are like getting these visions of a child who looks just like like disheveled version of Rose's child. Sharon. Yes Sharon. Shan. At one point she just goes, look at me I'm burning. And I was like, oh, what? Okay.
