Episode Date: October 2, 2017

"That kid next door is a meatball!" This week we're discussing the 1989 Joe Dante horror comedy "The Burbs." Special topics for your consideration include: a lesson in Pittsburghese, the purpose of Co...rey Feldman and the joys of Tom Hanks, toupees, Germans, teens, Geraldo Rivera and the ennui of suburban living. Allen has a theory that this movie takes place in the same universe as "Fright Night" and "Monster Squad." I don't know. Why is their yard all brown? I don't know. Why did you whisper brown like it was a racist thing? That's brown. Because they could hear me. Oh, that makes so much more sense when it's being a racist thing. I apologize. Are they Slavic? Is that racist? Oh man? Welcome to another episode of Wherew Wolf Ambulance. I'm Katie. I'm Alan.
Starting point is 00:00:46 We're talking about a movie. Dubberbs. This is supposed to take place like outside of Chicago, right? I think so. Because he's like, do you want to go down to the deli and get a beef sandwich? Is that a Chicago thing? That's only a fictional. Yeah. Um, we got a, we got a Tom Hanks. We got a Tom Hanks.
Starting point is 00:01:06 Love a Tom Hanks. The cast of this movie is unbelievable. Yeah. Friend of the podcast, Ross, who was in the house on Huntah Hill episode. I don't know if he still does it, but he remember him talking about that. Tea, Thanksgiving? I get it. It's pretty good. It's pretty good.
Starting point is 00:01:28 For me, this is maximum Hanks. Yeah. This is like Hanks at the top of Hanks Power. When was the money pit compared to this? Because I fucking love that movie. I love them, God damn movies so much. Yeah, I think, um, um, um, um, um, um, um, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, that, that, thi, th, th, th, th, th, th. thanks, th. th. th. th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. Like your neighborhood is the money pit?
Starting point is 00:01:48 With Slavic people? Germans, actually. Because Germans. Yeah. Why are they so potentially upset about Slavic people? I don't know. The Cold War? It's 89. I guess. This is a movie about being Nebbby? Being a Neb-Shit.
Starting point is 00:02:08 One of my first notes says Nebshit. So in Pittsburgh, you're not nosy, you're Nebbby. And if you're a Nebb-person, you're a Neb-Shit, which is a phrase I've been hearing since I was a child and did not realize until I was much older. a phrase, nobody else. Yeah. Speaking of that, this movie has a Mr. Rogers opening it. I, as a child, because Mr. Rogers was such a cool guy, and he and Mr. McPhilly would be like at your school reading books or in like local parades, I didn't realize that people outside of Pittsburgh knew who Mr. Rogers was. Because he was also like visiting places in the city.
Starting point is 00:02:42 And when I found out that he was like beloved by everyone it was like the greatest thing that ever happened to me and then I got the theme song stuck in my head from this movie and then I sang it to my baby and I cried because hormones. Supahms! This is a hormone podcast now. Being a nip shit. Being a nip shit. Being nosy with your neighbors. The cold war. Corey Feldman throwing sweet parties I guess suburban on we yeah and how great it would be to have Carrie Fisher as her wife she's pushy she's pushy but she knows what's best I feel like she's right oh yeah of course she's in all these situations she's correct she also really emasculates him in a
Starting point is 00:03:21 a lot of situations though where she's like, men, gentlemen, my husband cannot come out. They're literally acting like children. Yeah, exactly. So how do we get into this one? That kid next door is a meatball. That's my next note. At that note as well. Corby Feldman serves no purpose in this film. Except to be, he is the audience,
Starting point is 00:03:45 because he's so excited about everything. Yeah, and then he breaks the fourth wall at the end, and I was like, get out of here, Corey Feldman. Was that in the script or was that just cocaine? I bet that was just cocaine. Also he's painting that porch. Did you see how many cans of paint. What are you doing? By the end of the movie, only one pillar is half red. Yeah, and it looked terrible.
Starting point is 00:04:07 How many, I don't know what he's doing. So yeah, this is a movie about the suburbs, living in the suburbs, and what it does to you, I guess. Have I mentioned that I think this movie is also in the Fright Night Monsters Quadverse. Yeah, I like that and I believe it. Yeah. I believe it a lot. The street that they filmed it on was used for the Munsters TV show, which is very exciting and apparently desperate housewives as well. No shit. Yeah. Huh, I like that a lot. I actually I did a lot of research on this one because I feel like this movie. Just kidding, I watched it.
Starting point is 00:04:48 I wouldn't say up to, rest in peace, Rick Ducaman and Carrie Fisher. Yeah. What, Rick Ducam, it was like diabetes, yeah? I think so, something along the signs. Couldn't try to figure out what I knew him from it thean. Oh, really? Always incinc Enc Enc Enc Enc Enc Enc Enc Enc Enc Enc Enc Enc Enc Enc Enc Enc Enc Enc Enc Enc Enc Enc Enc in this this this this this this this this this this this movie this movie this movie this movie this movie this movie this movie this movie this movie this movie this movie this movie this movie thisino Man. I know him from this movie and he is, he works for the Electric Company in Die Hard. He's the guy they come to to shut down the bower to Nakatomi Towers.
Starting point is 00:05:13 Never seen Diner. I know. I know, I know. I don't like Christmas. But you do like Bruce Willis. Yeah, it's a dichotomy I can't. And Alan Rickman? RIP? RIP. RIP. That's Professor Sneep, right? Everyone's dead. We were we were off when George Romero died. Yeah, that was a real bummer. Toby Hooper died. RIP him. That's why we're doing his movie next week. No, no, not his movie. You'll see. Martin Landau died. He had it coming though, like let's be real.
Starting point is 00:05:45 He was old. He was an old man. That's true. Harridine Stanton just died. I saw that he was also a very old man. He was like 91 or something. I'm not saying that these aren't sad. I'm just saying like, they live full lives.
Starting point is 00:05:55 He was one of those roles. But yeah, there's been so many like, I guess this is just what happens when you get old. People die. Yeah. My Nana said something like that to me recently where she was like, everyone I know is dead. And I was like, oh, what about? Am I, am I?
Starting point is 00:06:17 Maybe I've been dead all along? I don't know. What's that kid's that kid kid kid kid kid kid kid kid kid that kid that kid that kid? that kid? that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that's that that that's that that's that that that that that's that's that's that's. that's that? that? that's that's. that's. that's. that's. that's. that's. that. that. that. that. that. that. that. that. that. that. that. that. that. that. that. that. that. that. that. that. that. that. that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that th. that that that that that that that that. that. that. that. that. that. that. that. that's that. that. that. that. that. that. that that that that that kid's name? Haley Jol Oswald? Yeah. Have you seen him recently? His face is so fucked up. He's a garden gnome. He's great. His face is so small and his head is so big. Was it you that I was talking to once? Okay, I wanted to make sure it wasn't just.
Starting point is 00:06:37 I wasn't just... I was excited to show. Yes, this movie. It's a comedy horror movie. It's kind of a story about crust punks moving into your neighborhood, don't you think? The oldest cross punks? Yeah. Because you're just like, oh my god, take care of yourself. Why are you being such crust punks? Nothing against crust bunks. But they're treating them like that. A little bit. It's a little bit like a bunch of oogels just moved in town.
Starting point is 00:07:07 Yeah, it's just a movie about just mind your fucking business. Yeah. Except. Well, yeah. And just I guess the bore how boring the suburbs are that you would come up with these elaborate ideas. Or just like how weird your neighbors are when you live in the suburbs? For like what what kind of people are drawn to the suburbs yeah I was I was reading about how Tom Hanks like prepared for this and he was just like putting in all this back story for himself that Joe Dante did not give him that was just like this is why my wife and I are fighting all the time and this is why I'm super bummed and like yeah he's you're like you're like kind the the th. th. the th. the the th. th. th. th. I th. I th. I to. I th. I th. I to. I to. I'm to. I'm to. I'm to. I'm to. I'm to to to to to to to to to to th. I'm to to to to to to to to to. I. I. I'm. I'm. I to. I'm. I'm. I'm. I'm. I'm. I'm. I'm like, t. I'm like, t. I'm like, t. I'm like, t. I'm like, t. I'm like, t. I'm t. I'm t why I'm super bummed and like... Yeah, you're like kind of not sure what to make of him
Starting point is 00:07:45 because he's taking a vacation from what appears to be a stressful job, but he's doing like a staycation, which nowadays we understand because we're all poor and can't afford vacations, right? Thanks Obama. But I feel like a staycation is now a lot more common than it was then. Yeah. And he... I mean, it's got's got a tha tha tha tha tha tha tha tha tha tha tha tha tha tha tha tha tha tha tha tha tha tha tha tha tha tha tho that's tho tho thi that's that, thi tho tho tho tho-a tho-a, to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to th. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. theea. thea thea. thea. thea thea. thea. thea toooooo. It's got a name, a real catchy name to make it sound like something you want to do instead of just like doing your laundry. It's true. So he's doing this vacation, his wife wants to go to the cabin and take a little Dave with him. Dave. What happens to Dave in this movie? He's the today thate. Dave, what happens to Dave in in in in in in the the the th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. tho. tho. thoom's thoom's thoom's thoom. thoom. thoom-a's tho' tho' tho' tho' thoom-a' thoom-a' thoom-a' thoom. thoom. thoom. thoom. thoom. thoom. thoom. thoom. thoom. thoom's th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. It's th. It's thi. It's just just just just just just just just just just just just the. the. the. toe. toe. the. the. thea' thea' thea' thea' the. the. the end of this movie. It's kind of like where is Art's wife been the entire time?
Starting point is 00:08:25 Oh, she's with her mother, or his mother-in-law, but like, there's been no contact between the two of them? Whose child is Corey Feldman? I thought he was arts kid for a while until they called him Mr. Whatever. And I was like, who, who, who are you? He's also kind of typecast as the knower of vampires because he's like, Dave is like, Ricky says they're nocturnal feeders and I was like, oh this is lost boys. I don't know. Oh but in the lost boys verse too, why not? Makes perfect sense. He gets adopted by the frog family and moves out to Santa Clara, Santa
Starting point is 00:09:02 whatever. Yeah, Santa Carla. So Tom Hanks is taking his vacation. Art is the nosy next door neighbor who comes busting in. Oh there's a great opening scene where there's like noise at the Clopex house. Yeah, yeah. And Tom Hanks is like stepping on to their lawn and when he does it gets super windy. Yeah. And then when he steps off it stops. I like that. Why is it why does, why is, why is, why is, why is, why is, why is, why is, why is, why is, why is th. Why, why is th. Why, why is th. Why, why is th. Why, why is th th th th th th. thi, why is th. thi, thi, th. th. thi, the the thi. the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the th. th. thi. thi. thi. to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to tho tho th. th like that. Why does it do that? We're never told. No. The same reason as every time anything happens with the Klopex, there's thunder. Yeah, yeah. Like one of those times being when they like knock on the door and the number spins around so it's 666. I laughed at that. I have here a map of the cul-de-sac that has all the houses listed on it. So so you. So. So. So you. So you. So you. So you. So you. So you. So you. So you. So you. So you. So you. So you. the. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. the th. the th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. the the the th. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. the the th. th. the the th. th. the. th. the. the. the. the. the. the the the on Wikipedia? Yeah. Fucking Wikipedia. But there's 668 is not claimed.
Starting point is 00:09:47 No one lives there, apparently. Huh. Very strange. That is very strange. So there's there's art and, or there's Ray and Carol, who are Tom Hanks and Carrie Fisher. And Dave. And Dave, who looks like he could be the spawn of those two people. Yeah, he's well cast. Yeah. And then there's art who comes over and eats all their food.
Starting point is 00:10:07 And that's Rick Ducaman? Rick Ducaman. And then there's, um, Bruce Dern as Lieutenant Mark Rumsfeld. What do I know him from? Uh, a bunch of different stuff. He's in a bunch of different stuff. He's in, he's in a lot a lot a lot a lot a lot a lot a lot a lot a lot a lot a lot of 70s movies. I'm trying to think of what else he's been in. And then his wife, that I feel like I know from stuff, but when I looked up her IMDB, I didn't know her from things? Nope. She's just like an 80s blonde actress with a hot, hot bod. Yeah, cheesecake, I believe her,
Starting point is 00:10:36 her to her head. Oh, wow. Because I'm th. You're 93 years old and that's just very descriptive and I've never heard that before. And then there's the dude from Dennis the Menace that lives down the street, Walter. Oh yeah. Who was also on the Lucille Ball show and when they go into his house, there's a picture of him with Lucille Ball on the television. I was like, oh, that's really cute. And the clopex, their next next, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, th. And th. And th. And th. And th. And th. And th. And th. And th. And th. And thi, th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. the dude, th. the dude, th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. the th. the the th. th. th. the, the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. thee. the. the. the. the. the the. the the. the. the. utterman from Gremlins. Oh yeah, yeah, yeah. Because Joe Dante did Gremlins, most famously.
Starting point is 00:11:07 I think Dick Miller is in every Joe Dante movie, so he's also in the Howling. I do believe. Joe Dante did the Howling? I'm sure we talked about this in one of these episodes. Interesting. Yeah, so this is piranha at some point. Oh, I'm washing my hair that week.
Starting point is 00:11:30 Did you recognize Hans from the Clofax? No. It's Malachi from Children of the Corn. Oh, what a creep. Yeah. Such a creepy guy. Did he ever do anything other than horror movies? Probably not. That I don't know. I've never seen him like these are the two things that I know him from
Starting point is 00:12:07 And he's dead. He's probably in every other children of the corn movie that I'll have not nor we'll ever see. Nope, just that one. I'm sure someone's gonna be like six. It's sick. It's sick. It's sick. It's sick. It's that. It's sick. It's sick. It's sick. It's sick. It's th. It's th. It's th. It's th. It's the the the the the th. It's sick. It's sick. It's sick. It's sick. It's sick. It's sick. It's sick. It's sick. It's sick. It's sick. It's sick. It's sick. It's sick. It's sick. It's sick. It's sick. It's sick. It's sick. It's sick. It's sick. It's sick. It's sick. It's sick. It's sick. It's sick. It's sick. It's sick. It's sick. It's sick. It's sick. It's sick.'s son, Malachi's. I don't know. I can't even. Question, do people still wear a tupeys? I think so. Interesting. Like that one, though, I think dudes really just embraced being bald at some point. Yeah, because one of the plot points is Walter's toupe. And then I was thinking like, I don't think men wear a tupe anymore. I feel like men of a certain age do.
Starting point is 00:12:26 Maybe you're right. Like a William Shatner. You think that's tupay? Oh hell, yes. You don't think you just got plugs? Or a John Travolta? No. Do you ever like... Do you ever watch grease? I'm sure the answer is no. Of course I have.
Starting point is 00:12:47 But a ton of times when I was a kid. But have you seen it now and you look at him and you're like, what a handsome... Oh yeah. What a stud he was and he just became this like... I mean I know everybody gets old, but he just bloated like a lake or something. Yeah when he inflated like a tire. Some dudes just get thick when they get like these not fat he's just like thick. But I think he's also pumped up. I think he's got a bunch of pumping in his face, you know.
Starting point is 00:13:15 I feel like um, you've seen young Alec Baldwin. Yeah. I mean Deedlejuice Alec baldwin? Sure. Yeah. Even younger than that. I th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. But he just got like, he didn't get fat, he just got thick, just like thickened up. He's still handsome though I feel. Jonged. Junner Boulder, not as much. Right, but I don't think it's like a... It's a Stallone thing too. He was always always always always always always always always always, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you th. He was always th. He was always th. He's just thi. No, Rocky's all natural. He's got hard work and chasing chickens and like like running through the streets of Philadelphia and a pattern that doesn't make any sense. I did watch that Creed movie and cried like a fucking baby. I, it's been in my watch list and I just, I like, I'm, I have too many feelings as it is. Anyway, this movie. The Clopex. The Clopex. They're the new the new the new new new the new new the new. They're the new. They're the new. T the new. T. T. T. the new. the new. the new. It's. It's. It's. It's. It's. It's. It's. It's. It's. It's. It's. It's. It's. It's. It's the th. It's th. It's. It's. It's. It's. It's. It's. It's. It's. It's. It's. It's. It's. It's. It's. It's. It's. It's. It's. It's. It's. It's. It's. It's. It's. It's. It's. It's. It's. It's. It's. It's. It's. It's. It's. the. the. the. Rocky. Rocky. Rocky. It's. It's. Rocky. Rocky. It's. Rocky. It's. Rocky. It's the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the're the new hot topic of the neighborhood, not a store where you can buy Miss Fitts t-shirts. And-
Starting point is 00:14:10 You mean Target? What a target is the new hot topic. But they're the thing that everybody in the neighborhood is talking about. And I just love what no one has jobs. No one has jobs on the street. No, no. It doesn't seem like, I mean, I think the, that Bruce Stern is like a retired army guy. Right. So he doesn't have to have a job, right?
Starting point is 00:14:33 Because we treat her veteran so well. Just stepping in dog shit. So little bode of a commentary. And Tom makes an unemployable. arts unemployable and Corriefeldman's a teenager I guess. Right and Walter is retired. Yeah he's an older gent. And Dr. Klopeck works at the university so he's actually out of the house from time to time. Yeah right. So living in the house is Hans, yeah Rubin his uncle and Dr. Werner Klopek. You got it. He's so German. Why are German's always the bad guys?
Starting point is 00:15:07 Don't answer that. Because America. Yeah, that's a good answer. So basically, they become, they find Walter's dog running around. Queenie. And go to his house, because it's not like Walter to let the dog run around, and he's missing. And they're like signs of a struggle. And so they immediately assume that the Clopax have taken him and murdered him, especially
Starting point is 00:15:29 because Tom Anx has seen them digging in their backyard under cover of darkness. In robes. In robes, in like a storm and a thunderstorm. So they break into Walter's house first, where one of my favorite saaaa, Art's holding the plate of cookies and Cory Films and just like jams open the swinging door and smashes it. And they laughed really hard at that. Like it was not as funny as I made it. I laughed so much during this movie. It's really funny.
Starting point is 00:16:01 Like just, what do they say, L-O-L-L? They do say that. You lull. When I was like by myself watching this laughing out loud of like, yeah, that's what lulling is. Right? And Walter, or Art and Ray have been like daring each other to go up and ring the doorbell and he like, Ray reacts to being called a chicken like Marty McFly. He's like, thi's like, is th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. th. th. th. thi. thi. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. Like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, thi. thi. th. thi. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th.Fly. He's like don't call him a chicken. I'm like is that just an 80s thing? I think so. Okay. Because if you call someone a chicken now I feel like they'd just not react. You know? Yeah we get called so much worse now. Oh my god yeah. So yeah they break into Walters, they break a plate amazingly. They break a plate amazingly. the su cup and takes the window out with like glass cutter. He's got all this like army gear scopes and night vision and stuff.
Starting point is 00:16:50 I was thinking about this so like there was the trope of the kind of crazy Vietnam vet on your block thing. Yeah that hasn't stuck with us there's not like the kind of crazy Afghan war bet or like you know what I mean like that's interesting. I feel like we got thi this like this like this like this like this like this like this like he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he's got like he's got like he's got like he's got like he's got like he's got he he's got like he's got like he's got he he's he he's he he's he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he's got he he's got he's got he's got he he's got he he's got he he's got he he he he he th. He's got like like like like like like like, he's got like like like like like like like, he's got got got got got like like like like like like like like like like like like like like like like like th. He's got got got th like like like th. He's got th. He's not like the kind of crazy Afghan warbed or like, you know what I mean? Yeah, that's interesting. I feel like we got more sensitive to what actually happens in post-traumatic stress disorder. I feel like we acknowledge PTSD and it was like, oh, oh, yeah. Oh, we're, okay. Because there are jokes in this movie. Because there are jokes in this movie, like the the jokes in the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the movie, the movie, the movie, the movie, th, th, th, tho, tho, tho, tho, tho, tho, tho, th, I'm, thi, I, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I th. I feel, I feel, I feel, I feel, I feel, I feel, I feel, I feel break your neck I was in the shit like all that stuff and I like the movie house house in the house house house house a whole thing of like the all the like Vietnam flashbacks that like William cats having in that when Bull from nightcord is like trying to like they're walking through the jungle together and to be to be do that movie no okay I was thinking I tho to the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the movie the movie the the the movie the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the movie the movie the movie to be to to to to to to to to to to to to the movie the movie the movie the movie the movie the movie the movie the movie the movie the movie the movie the movie the movie the movie the movie the movie the movie the movie the movie the movie the movie the movie the movie the movie the movie the movie the movie the movie the movie the movie the movie the movie to be the movie to be to be to be the movie the movie the movie to be the movie the movie to be the to me to to to to the movie I I I to to to to to to to to to to the movie toou, I think. I thought you were a fan of House, though.
Starting point is 00:17:45 Am I? It's got Norm from Cheers, his neighbor. Is it funny? Yeah, it is very funny. Yeah, there's a goblin kind of thing in the fountain in the front hallway or something. Yes, I think so. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah, yeah, and he, and he, and he, and he, and he, and he, and he, and he, and he, and he, and he, and he, and he, and he, and he, and he, and he, and he, and he, and he, and he, and he, and he, and he, and he, and he, and he he, and he he, and he th. And he t. And he te. And he te. And he te. And he te. te. te.'s my synopsis. Yeah now I remember. So the Walter is missing they found a tupey in the house which you would never be
Starting point is 00:18:14 seen without. Yeah. And Queenie is on the run running around the neighborhood. Right. Or Ray leaves him a note that says I've got your dog, Ray, which sounds a little threatening. But but if you were not thinking of this in a way you would think it was. the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the th. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I they, they, th. Yeah, they, they, I th. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I they, they, they. I I they. I I they. I I I the way. I I the way. I I I the way. I the way. I the way. I the way. I the the they. I they. I they. I they. I they. I they. I they. I they. I they. I they. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I remember. I remember. I remember. I remember. I remember. I'm they. I the the that says, I've got your dog, Ray, which sounds a little threatening. But if you were not thinking of this in a way, you would think it was innocent, yeah. Because there's the great scene of him like trying to write all the notes and just like, no that's not going to work, I'll just go straight ahead. This will be the most. And so Ray immediately jumps to the clipex, like, the the, and th, and th, th, th, th, the th, their, th, their, th, th, th, their, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, thi, thi, thinks, thi, thi, thinks, thinks, thinks, thinks, thinks, thinks, thinks, thinks, thinks, thinks, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, thi, thi, thi, thi, thinks, thinks, thinks, thinks, thinks, thinks, thinks, thinks, thinks, thinks, thinks, thinks, thinks, thinks, thinks, th and they've killed Walter to sacrifice him to Satan. Yeah. And then Ray starts watching like clips of horror movies on television, one of which is Texas Chainson Massacre 2.
Starting point is 00:18:52 Yeah. Texas Chastonial Massacre 2, the Exorcist. Yeah, yeah. And Ride with the Devil. What is that? It's based on a Dennis Wheatty th, it's th, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi. thi. to to to to to to to to to to to thi.a. thi. thi. th from the 70s. It's just a ridiculous. Nah. It's satanic. No. No.
Starting point is 00:19:07 No. It looks cool. It did look cool. I know which of which you speak. And then this is where the nightmare sequence happens. Oh, the barbecue. I want a barbecue that big. They make the fourth of July so much easier.
Starting point is 00:19:21 Just just just just just just just just just just just just just just. make the 4th of July so much easier. Just put everybody's burgers on it once. Yeah, why does everybody have to wait? So Ray wakes up in his dream and he's calling for Carol, he can't find her, then the house gets chainedsauled, he falls into the basement, which is when you realize that like there is no chainsaw mani-he's lost his mind. And then he gets put on the barbecue, the horned people in robes, and and their their their their their their, and their, and their, and their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, th. th. thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, th. th. th. th. th. th. th. Soa, th. Soa, th. Soa, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, th. Soa, th. So. So. So, th. So, th. So, th. th. So, thi, their, their, thi, their, thi, their, thi. thi. the, thr-s. thr-I. thr-I's thr-I's thr-I's thr-I's thr-I's thr-I's thr-. He's right And then he gets put on the barbecue the horned people in robes and earlier Art has told us the story of the local town murderer skip skip skip I could not they kept their tip? the the theyme the skip later in the movie and I was like which one of them is skip? None of the names are skiped the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the ice cream, or the, what do they call him, soda jerk? The soda jerk, yeah. Who took an ice pick to his family.
Starting point is 00:20:09 And they only, he like put them in the cool basement thinking it would never get hot again? It was like a very confusing story. But did you have like stories like that about like, no murderers in your time? We had like a haunted elementary elementary elementary elementary elementary elementary elementary elementary elementary elementary, the school school school school school? A th. the school? th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. I th. I th. I th. I was like, thi. I was like, th. I was like, th. I was like, th. th. th. I was like, th. I was like, th. I was like, th. I, th. I, th. I, th. I, th. I, th. I, th. I I I, th. I I, th. And I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I was, I was, I was, th. And I was, th. And I was like, th. And I was like, th. And, th. And, like, th. And, th. And, the the thi. And, the thi. And, like, like, like, the th. And, like had like a haunted elementary school. What? Yeah, an abandoned elementary school that was in Deer Lakes Township, which is like way further out in the boonies than where I lived. So like going even further out was like, you know, that's where shit was. Yeah, that's where shit was.
Starting point is 00:20:35 And it was just an elementary school that they no longer used and had been like broken into and spray painted. Yeah, yeah. But people had like arranged things in it that were kind of scary like a child's desk all alone in the middle of a room, you know what I mean? So we would go there and you know, like not use drugs or drink or make out, but just look for ghosts. Okay. So you did tool around in it. Nice. I've always wanted to do one of those like, to break into an old, to, to, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, to, to............................. So, to, to, to, then all the ones that were like near me, people still lived in them.
Starting point is 00:21:06 Yeah. So I was like, I don't want to, that's not what I want to do. Yeah. No, we can see if that's cool still in deer lakes. Go check it out. Oh, cool. Cool. Cool.
Starting point is 00:21:15 Cool. their . monsters that fly. Do you like mosquitoes? No. Bats eat mosquitoes. I can hate them both, you know. One of my favorite parts in this, when Ray and Art are reading the theory and practice of demonology. Oh yeah, yeah, yeah. What does he say? I want to kill everyone, Satan is good, Satan is my pal? And when he's talking about, he's like, you know, they got these demons in here, the incubus and the succubus. Yeah, yeah, yeah, that guy's so good.
Starting point is 00:21:52 He's so fucking funny. RIP, this timing is amazing. Yeah. But yeah, when you, because Ray starts chanting to not hear art because art's talking them, do you want them to kidnup your family, tear their their their their their their their their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, them. Do you, Ray, do you want them to kidnap your family, tear their livers out and make some kind of satanic patay? Satanic patay? How many shitty bands are called satanic patay in America in 1993? I hope a lot. I bet. I hope they had to like go to court or want of them to win the name. Oh yeah, big time. We've got satanic patate versus satanic patee on the tucket.
Starting point is 00:22:25 Would the plaintiffs please step forward? How many misspellings of pate? That's when it gets sad. Oh, so back to the dream real quick, when there, he's on the barbecue and he's seeing everyone, he sees art as skip the soda jerk. And then Walter and Queenie come up to him, and they both have axes in their heads. Like Queenie has a tiny little axe stuck in her head. Oh yeah, I love that. That was so cute.
Starting point is 00:22:49 Puppies with axes in their heads. A little poodle. Little poodle. And this is when he wakes up to Mr. Rogers. Yeah, yeah. And he looks fucked up. No, Tom Hanks because he's like not sleeping right now, like he's so focused on this, like... Is this your favorite Tom Hanks movie? Or do you prefer you've got male? The You've Got Mail, Sleepless in Seattle?
Starting point is 00:23:11 Uh, Joe versus the Volcano's pretty good. Yeah. Um, Bachelor Party, perhaps. Oh, God. I bet that movie, I loved it in the 80s. I bet it would be very problematic at this point in time. Just the idea of having prostitutes at your bachelor party instead of strippers. It's like cool. Just having a woman who does stuff with a donkey at your... Yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:23:34 This is definitely my favorite Tom Aksp. Like, I love it so much. It makes me so happy to like, I mean, it's the perfect storm of Joe Dante and Tom Hanks and Princess Leia. Sure. I love the zoom in and out on their screaming when they read the note. I just love that weird cartoony effect for like no reason. That's the only time they really do it in this movie. I really liked that. And Ray stopped screaming, or Art stopped screaming and Ray's still screaming, and then he
Starting point is 00:24:05 stops and he's like, oh what, huh? Yeah, okay. So basically the clopex are on to them and they go over, the wives make them go over there to talk to them like regular, regular people, in which point they find out that the clopex are leaving for the day to go to the university the university the university the university the university the university to go the the to go to go the the to go the to go the to go the to go to go the to go the to go to go to go to go to go to go. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah, to go. Yeah, to go. Yeah. to go. Yeah, to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to they.... Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the thex. they. theck. theck. theckto the university. Yeah, as a family. As a family and a dog, they take that pony with them. It's like a, what is that a great Dane? That is a great Dane. I don't like that dog. Yeah, it's a j-pony.
Starting point is 00:24:33 It's a straight-up horse. It's a straight up horse. It's the basement? It was a horse. Because while the ladies make them go over there, Art is trying to sneak in the back door for some dumb reason? They won't let him come in. Because he's no good. He's no good. But he's like out back with the kids, like with Dave and Ricky. Oh, I love Uncle Rubin's look. You mean his like actual look or the look on his face? Both? Yeah, he's so like surly. he looks. He he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he th. He looks. He looks. He looks th. He looks th. He looks th. He looks th. He looks like, th. He's th. th or the look on his face? Both, yeah. He's so like surly. He looks like a weird little gangster or something. But like as grandma
Starting point is 00:25:12 hair? Yeah. Like really weird because he looks like his hair looks like Joe Pesci and my cousin Vinny. There's one point where he's looking at the window and Tom Hanks is just yelling Mrs. Klopec, Mrs. Klopec at him. And I think that's why he doesn't like him. Because he's calling him Mrs. Glopec? Yeah, I mean, yeah. Later he's just pissed at Tom Hanks. He's just pissed.
Starting point is 00:25:35 Yeah. Also because he thinks Tom Hanks put a note under his door that because art's stupid. Because they think they've killed, they're looking for Walter's body, like at this point. They're looking for any evidence that they've murdered Walter. How about when Bruce Dern is just walking up to the wallpaper in the Clowex house and just starts pulling it off the wall? And then he's like surprised that it came off and he tries to stick it? Meanwhile, Corey Feldman invites all his friends over to watch this. Like, how does he know something's going to happen? He knows. I want a theory to be out there that he's actually not a human being.
Starting point is 00:26:14 He's some sort of angel or something that watches over the neighborhood that just like knows what their neb-augh is going to. I like that. I don't know, maybe. Who who knows who knows who knows who knows who knows who knows who who knows what those those those those those those those those those those those those those those those those those those those those those those those those those those those those those those those those those those those those those those those those those those those those those those those those those those those those those those those those those those those those those those those those their their their thoes thoes their their thoes thoes thoes thoes th. th. thoes th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. their their th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. their their their their their their their their their their their th. their th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. tho. thoooo. th. th. thooooo. th. th. thooo. th. tho. th. th. th of pizza. They could not afford that much pizza. I don't know, maybe. Who knows what those parents left behind? It's true. I did a... Maybe it's payment for painting that porch. In honor of this movie, I did bring snacks. So would you like some pretzels and sardines?
Starting point is 00:26:36 They acted like that's so gross, so much salt in your mouth at one time. I'm a gross Italian though, you know? I love of like a oily, salty fish, like a good anchovy or a sardine. Just stuck on a pretzel, on a thin thin pretzel. I watched it and I was like, settle down, like, I would eat that. That was such a good physical comedy, Tom Hanks think of him, like th and th and th and th and th and th and th. th and th and th and th like th like th like thin thi thi thi thi that that that that that thi that that that that thi that thi that that that that that that that thi thi, I'm thi, I'm thi, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, thi. thi. thi. thi. that's a that, that, that, that, that, like staring at Carrie Fisher the entire time. Looking just horrified. I'm so glad Tom Hanks has never had a scandal. I'm so glad he's like by all accounts a good guy. Yeah I've never heard you supposedly like the nicest dude in show business sort of thing. Yeah I've heard a funny story where Colin Hanks went to Vassar at the same time that my friends Matt-I th and th and th and th and th and th and th and th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. thi thi's thi's thi's thi's thi's thi's thi's thi's thi's thi thi's thi's to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to h. I I I I too. I the. I'm the. I'm the. I'm the the. I'm the the tom tom tom ha. I'm tom tom tom tom tho. I'm thoom to tho. I'm to Vassar at the same time that my friends Matt and Carrie, Carrie's been a guest twice here, were at Vassar and like someone ran into Tom Hanks in a bathroom, and maybe it was Matt, maybe it was one of their friends
Starting point is 00:27:32 I don't remember and the toilet and the toilet had been, they'd clogged the toilet and were like leaving as it was overflowing and Tom Hanks like are you just just just just just just just just just just just just just just just just just just just just just just just just just just just just just just just just just just thian you to to to thian you thian. to thian thian thian thian thian thian thian thian thian thian thian thian thian thian thi thi thi thi. We thi's like thian thian thian thian thi. thi thi thi th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th. th. th. th. th. th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I thi thi thi thi thi to to to to thi to to to to to to the to to to the to to to to the to the the the the the the the thi thi thi the toilet. It was like at graduation or something. So that's pretty nice, yeah. I had to step up Tom Hanks. I know. I wouldn't plunge a toilet and I'm nobody. Literally nobody. So they leave the house after like shit goes south when they're meeting the clopecks. Yeah, it's very tense. They do not like one another. This is when, this is when Carol, Carrie Fisher calls Art Tunnnn- their their to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to their. I to to to into him. This is when this is when Carol, Carrie Fisher, calls Art Tuna Neck for some reason? Yeah, while they're arguing? I don't know what that means. And we find out that Ray has found Walter's tupay in the Clopeck's house. Right, right. Which he's hidden under his scrotum? Yeah he pulls it out from his underbans. Oh yeah. I thought you said something else and I misheard you. No, you actually said scrotum.
Starting point is 00:28:29 Because Rumfield is giving him shit. And he's like, I want to take your balls out of your wife's purse, you pussy whipped. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. And so he reaches up his shorts. He's like, I, I. I. th. th. th. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to to. to say, to say, to say, to say, to say, to say, to. to. to. to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. th. You. th. th. th. the. the the the the. the the the the th. th. th. th. th. the th. th. the th. th. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. th. th.pe out. I like that. It's very funny. And this he delivers the line, nobody knocks off an old man in my neighborhood and gets away with it? Sure. So they plan to like break in while there are our way to the university the next day. Right, Carol's taking the kid and all the dogs somewhere for a little while. Well it seems like she's going away for the weekend, but she comes back like 12 hours later with Dave
Starting point is 00:29:07 and then Dave fucking disappears. It's just inexplicable. It's past Dave's bedtime. I guess, just put Dave to bed. He's just a little guy. I guess so. Yeah, there's the great ruse where, I guess they're, Ray told Carol he was going told Carol he was gonna go play golf with Art, so Hart comes over in the full 1920s golfer outfit. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:29:27 I'm so good at golf. This is gonna be great. I'm such a good golfer. I like that a lot. So they break in and it predictably goes south. Right. They bust into like a sewer line or something, or a gas line, a gas line.
Starting point is 00:29:39 Yeah, Art electrocutes himself shutting off the power to the house so they can't set off the alarm. Then they start digging in the backyard, which art is useless at, is laying down in the holes in the backyard, and they started digging in the basement and he hits a gas line. I don't understand how they thought they were going to get away with any of this. Like they must have been so sure they were going to that Walter was down there. So while they're digging in the basement, though, Walter's family brings him back. Yeah, he like is staggering out of a car looking worse for the wear. Very much, though. Apparently he'd like had a heart attack and left his tupae and dog behind. And like fallen over, which is why they were saying to the struggle. Which probably should have been the first thing they jumped to, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, tho, tho, tho, tho, tho, tho, tho, tho, thi, thi, thou, tho, tho, tho, tho, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi. thiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii. thii. thi, thi, thi, thi, they were saying to the struggle. Which probably should have
Starting point is 00:30:25 been the first thing they jumped to. This old man living alone had like a medical problem. Yeah. That none of them were friends with like he was not friendly to anybody in the neighborhood. I guess that's part of the story like the when you you live in the suburbs you get crazy maybe yeah the sort of isolation of it. Yeah so the Klopex are coming home the pizza man's to to to to to to to the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the th. the th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. thi. thi. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. the. the the. the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the thi. the the. the. the. th sort of isolation of it. Yeah. So the Klopex are coming home, the pizza man's coming to Corey Feldman's party, and Ray hits a gas line and blows up the Klopak's house while he's inside of it. Yeah, you think he might be dead. You know he's not. You know he's not. Did you like arts realization that he might be dead and all he kind of does is go, huh? Yeah, well it was head down? Like, well, it was all worth it, I guess. You scream for Ray.
Starting point is 00:31:08 Yeah. Also, the cops are there, it seems like they should step in and help as he's like staggering out of the house on fire and his face is all fucked up. The cops go nowhere near him. They're totally useless and it's fantastic. Except to point out that they're all they're all they're all they're all they're their they're their they're their they're they're their they're their they're their th. th. th. the. the. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. th. thi. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. the. the. the. the. the. the. thean. thean. thean. theean. theean. thean. thean. thean. thea. the. fantastic. Except to point out that they're all dill weeds. Yeah. So, there's a great scene where Ray lays into art for being a dickhead. And he's like, there's nothing going on here.
Starting point is 00:31:34 We ruin these people's house because of you. This is your fault. And he throws himself onto a gurney and then lifts it up, throws the gurney into the back of the ambulance and lays on top of it. I like that. And Carrie Fisher goes, I guess I'll find out what your hospital are going to? Yeah, she's so calm. She's so calm. But then, El Twisterino happens. Is it a Twisterino? Do you think it's a Twisterino? I don't know, but I like that we're saying twisterino now. I do too. Dr. Klopik gets into the ambulance with him. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:32:10 Bulls out a syringe and says, you took my bones, now I went your skull. Yeah, yeah. Something to that effect. And Hans starts driving the van away, erra, the ambulance, very erratically, drives it into the pizza truck and then into a tree. A pizza truck? I like the idea of a truc truc, delivering pizzas. Or it's even a full-boned van because it is filled with pizza. Yeah, the pieces go everywhere. There's the great reveal of them getting thrown out of the trunk oven. Yeah. And this is full of bones? It's full of skulls and bones and stuff.
Starting point is 00:32:48 Because they actually were murderers. I guess so. I mean, I know they were murderers, but why were they carrying them around and they're drunk? So that's the today. I think they were, I that they killed the Naps, the family that lived there previously. That's right, that's right, that's right. And Corey Feldman is the one who solves the crime. And then he looks right into the camera, I forget what he says.
Starting point is 00:33:10 Oh, he breaks, he just says, I love this street. Yeah. And then we zoom back into space. Also there's a funny heraldo Rivera opening a thapapapap Oh totally timely and irrelevant to anyone now. I thought it was funny. I remember it. You remember that though. That's why, yeah. But you would have been just a wee little baby. I feel like I've seen it that footage since you know. Yeah. Yeah. It's the the embarrassing thing that we like to bring up about Geraldo Rivera. Farrar. Yeah. the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the th. th. th. th. th. th. that. that. that. that. that. Real shithead. Real shithead. Fun fact, not about Geraldo Rivera. Yeah. The balding cop who's like arresting Tom Hanks. Tom Savini. No.
Starting point is 00:33:53 No. Ron Howard's dad. Weird. Yeah. I love Ron Howard. I wish it was Tom Savini. Last that I was like, Missy, do you know who that's it? That's Clint Howard's dad. She goes, you mean Ron Howard. I was like, yeah, but I love Clint Howard too. Do not know Clint Howard? No. He's a thrown howe? He's a, what, what,
Starting point is 00:34:13 what would I know him? He's in a bunch of horror movies. He's a really weird looking dude. Hold on I'm He's in a really great awful hard movie called Evil Speak, where he is at a military academy and he's being abused by his classmates and then he finds a computer that exposes him to Satanism. Huh, is it a Prundon Fraser movie? No, that's about anti-Semitism. No, that's school ties. Yeah. Never mind. Never mind. I do like the idea that school ties is ended by Brendan Fraser finding Satan and then
Starting point is 00:34:55 wreaking evic on everyone. Probably a better movie. God, he was a monster in that movie too. Like, he's a huge dude. Yeah. And that's like pre-Encinoman. Oh, he's so cute, an, th. And th. And thi. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. Yeah, thi. Yeah, thi. And that's like pre-Encied Man. Oh, he's so cute an Encinoman. He is. He is. He's hunky.
Starting point is 00:35:09 It's a cut. Oh, speaking of. You want to talk about Encinoman? Never seen it. Well, you should really see it. Rick to come in it. He's the knew him from. Do you come in. Oh, that's right. You said that earlier. The friend of Corey Feldman who shows up, who is named Steve Cuntz. No, he isn't.
Starting point is 00:35:30 Yeah. He is Nick Kat from Dazed and Confused. Huh. He's one of the dudes and Dave's and confused. I know you did. That's why I brought it up. Thank you. I'm looking him up. He doesn't even have a picture on Wikipedia. No, he doesn't. Boo. I know Wikipedia. Step your goddamn game up. Honestly. It's on us really. It's our job to update Wikipedia. Starting point is 00:36:05 It's more like an extra long, are you afraid of the dark episode starring Tom Hanks. But it's sure. Super, super enjoyable, nine. Nine. I'm a little bit drunk. Is that Slavic? It's Macho Man Randy Savage. Wreslmania 9! RIP. Yeah, well they're all dead. I think this is a horror comedy that just happens to fall harder on the comedy end. Yeah. This movie's a 10. Whoa, I know you're going to give it a 10.
Starting point is 00:36:41 I can't even like feign the surprise. Whoa! Oh my God, did you do that? I'm stunned. No, it's well-deserving if you're 10. Katie. Yeah. Do you know what else is well-deserving?
