Starting point is 00:00:00 Type any, type, type, type, type, type. Oh, hey, Katie, I'm just finishing up this, uh, this personal ad. Oh, yeah? Yeah, I'm looking for a new, uh, roommate. Oh, really? Yeah, uh, so far in my description are, uh, must be six foot to, to, look kind of like a shaved ape with a big white beard. Uh-huh. And that's pretty much all I have so far. Get in contact if you want to live with me.
Starting point is 00:00:33 I can't see anything that could go wrong here. This seems like a perfect setup. My premise is that I don't think I have to worry about this happening to me because I don't look like a lot of other people. It's true. You're a unique looking individual. I'm Alan. I'm Brian from Wings.
Starting point is 00:00:53 This is Brian from Wings. The land's ambulance. Thank God, we're here. Brian from wings. He's here in the movie. He caused me, Brian from Wings. Oh, he Brian from Wings? Oh, Stephen Weber. I barely knew ye. He's alive. Is he? I just saw this movie. Oh, whoa, I see. What movie are we talking about? Single way female? It is, okay, it's a psychological thriller certainly. For sure. It's a horror movie. I'm telling you. I. I. I. I. I. I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to me, to me, to me, to me, to to to to me, to me, to me, to me, th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th. th th. th. th th. th th th th. th. th th th th th th th th th thi. th thi. thi, thi. thin, thin, thin, thin, thin, thrie thrie thin, thrie thin, thrie thin, thrie thrie thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi okay it's a psychological thriller certainly. For sure.
Starting point is 00:01:26 It's a hard movie. I'm telling you, when you brought this up I went, I brought Hot Fos, you got this one. There have been some other questionable movies that we've done also. Hot Fos was far and above the worst. Yes, no, great movie. Great movie. Not a horror movie. This is like probably not a horror movie either, but I, fuck I don't wanted it. This is my show. So Bridget Fonda is like rude as fuck. You think? Well, this woman's like, okay, you're sure you're not going to get back to their fiancé?
Starting point is 00:01:59 Because I really don't want to have to find find another place to live and she's like totally definitely not going to get back with him and then like two weeks later she's back with him and she's like oh sorry you're to find a new place to live like you literally promised her this wouldn't happen like kind of rude you mean you mean as a you know the crappy thing that we will say the heart wants what the heart wants the heart wants to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to the to the the to to the to the the the to to the the the the the the the to the the to to the to to to to the to the heart to to the heart the heart to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to the the the the the the the the the the the the tttto try.a. the the try. try. try. the the try. try. the the try. try. try thoo. to to to wants her kids to look like Brian from Wings, so... Who doesn't? Everybody wants our kids to look like from Brian from Wings. Brian from Wings is very handsome. Okay. Okay. Yeah. He's got a certain thing going on.
Starting point is 00:02:33 He's got a certain thing going on. There's a charisma there. Yeah, real smug. I mean, Stephen Tobelos that's the creepy. That's Ned Ryerson. Ned Ryerson I knew I knew I knew him I didn't know what I knew him from. Oh you might know that first step it's a Daisy. You might know him in this movie as Mitch Meyerson. That's funny. That's very funny. So this movie was 92 and then Groundhogs Day was in 93. Good. Mitch is so gross though I hate him so much. I like Stephen Tobelows. the th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. that's. that's. that's. that's. that's. that's. that's. that's. that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's. that's. that's. that's. that's. that's. that's. that's. that's. that's. that's. that's. that's. that's. that's. that's. that's. that's. that's. that's. that's that's that's that's that's th. th. the the the the th. the the the the the th. the the th. the. the the. that's the. the. that's that's that's th. th. that's though. I hate him so much. How much. I like Stephen Tobolowski. Don't get me wrong. I like the Hector. But wow, Mitch is a real piece of shit. Real piece of shit. It's like hard being a woman in business, you know, especially in the 90s, I guess.
Starting point is 00:03:14 Especially when you invented Photoshop, I guess. And also billing software. It's like quick books meets Photoshop. I have no idea what the fuck Ali Jones software does. Oh. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. Mitch th. Mitch th. Mitch th. Mitch. Mitch. Mitch. Mitch. Mitch. Mitch. Mitch. Mitch. Mitch. Mitch. Mitch. Mitch. Mitch. Mitch. Mitch. Mitch. Mitch. Mitch. Mitch. Mitch. Mitch. Mitch. Mitch. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. Mitch is thi. Mitch is th fuck Ali Jones software does. Oh it's so so specific. Like what is it? Who is it for? Fashion people. Okay. The fashion industry. To make clothes and keep track of billing? Yeah, yeah. It's your one-stop shop for computers.
Starting point is 00:03:39 Okay. Does it work for like toasters too or is it just for clothes? I mean I had all the mannequins in it. I guess it's th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. thi. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. Who is. Who is. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. to. to. th. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. th. th like toasters too or is it just for clothes? I mean, I had all the mannequins in it, I guess it's just for clothing. That's a good point. Software designer. Yeah. I give one of your name to be Amanda Jones so I could sing the Miss Amanda Joe. No, oh, okay. No, what is that? It's a song. It's in the some kind of wonderful soundtrack. Oh boy. I'm a product of the 80s.
Starting point is 00:04:06 I know. I kept wanting her name, first name to be Mr. is like, Mr. Jones and me. You're a product of the 90s. Do you ever Google Image Search, Adam Durrett's backpiece? Can you do it real quick? I can. You know what, I'll do it all you talk. I'll do all you.
Starting point is 00:04:26 No, no, I got this. I want to find this on my own. Find it on your own and then say thank you. Do you want to get us up to like, humid synops? Yeah, can you get us up to at least where she meets J. J. J.L? So? So? So? So? So? the. So? th. So? th. So? th. So? the. th. th. th. to. th. to. the. to. the. to. to. to. to. to. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. to. I. I. I. I. I. I. to. to. to. to. to. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I.......................................................................................... is Ali Jones, a software designer who makes inexplicable software. She lives in New York City and doesn't have apparently any friends except for her upstairs neighbor and Brian from Wings to whom she is engaged. He found it, wow. Yeah, straight-edge. Guys, if you're in front of your computer, your phone right now,
Starting point is 00:04:56 and you're not driving a car, Google Image Search, Adam Durrett's back piece and then write me an email to say thank you. So she's like fucking around with Brian from Wings because they're totally gonna get married or whatever. And her answering, this movie should just be called Answering Machines, Bum, bom, because so much of it takes place on Answering Machines, do you notice that? Voice mail would solve this movie. Yeah, landlines the film. So Brian from Wings's ex-wife calls Alley's apartment.
Starting point is 00:05:26 Yeah. I guess Brian lives there. Brian lives there. Yeah, she says it. Brian's living there, yeah. His name is Sam. I'm going to call him Brian. Is that okay? I would expect nothing less. Okay, I can call him BFW, but Brian is easier. That's Brian from wings.
Starting point is 00:05:38 He has BFW in my notes, by the answering machine, she leaves a message about how he slept with her basically. They're like talking, but the answering machine is picking it up because answering machines. And Ali's like, no, get the fuck out, right? So she kicks him out. And so she places an ad for a roommate, single white female seeks same. And the women that show up are amazing. Did you notice how they were credited? No. Okay, so there's the Manish applicant. Sure.
Starting point is 00:06:10 That must have been the motorcycle lady? Yes. There's the talkative applicant. Okay. An incest survivor. Yes, I'm an incest survivor. I just haven't remembered it yet. I would love to see the movie where she got the apartment. There's the exotic applicant, which was the...
Starting point is 00:06:28 The sexy lady. Yeah, the like person of color who didn't say anything and just crept around the apartment. She moved very smoothly and fluidly, though. And then there was the perfect applicant who would... The blonde lady? Did you like think it was weird that she was taking photos of the prospective renters? Did you you you you you you you you you you you you you you you the the the th you th you th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th thus ters. Did you notice the questions that run the questionnaire? No.
Starting point is 00:06:46 One of them was, what's your favorite movie? Sure. The woman she called back, the perfect applicant, the blonde, blue-eyed. Yes. Her favorite movie? It's a wonderful life. That person's a psycho-killer. That's a different horror movie. Yeah. That person's like, what do people like?
Starting point is 00:07:05 People like, it's a wonderful lie. It's on every year. They're a robot. But what do you pick? What do you pick if someone asks you, your favorite movie? I'm probably going to say the Thinger Monster Squad. Yeah. Yeah. Neither of them are probably going to get me in the apartment. ideal roommate. I'm a shit roommate. I'm picking spinal tap and I'm a shit roommate so I'm a terrible roommate. Definitely gonna use all your soy milk
Starting point is 00:07:28 broth sorry. I'm definitely just gonna get like passive aggressive for no reason. I can't help it. It's who I am. Oh man I feel you. I can't help it. We're not roommate people. No, no I'm lucky to be married. We're barely people. I'm barely have people. No, no. I'm lucky to be married. We're barely people. I'm barely people. Barely people. So she's gone through all these people. She's called the perfect roommate. The perfect roommate, a perfect applicant has not called her back.
Starting point is 00:07:54 Right. In walks the door, a pair of combat boots and dressed like the Amish. Jennifer Jason Lee. Looking dumpy. No, no, no, but, but, but, but, but, but, the the the the the the the the the the the th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. thi. thi. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. I I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. the. the. the. the thea. thea. thea. thea. the. the. the. the. the. th Lee. Looking dumpy. Not a dumpy woman. No, no, no, but like, look at dumpy. Yeah, yeah. I think she was purposefully supposed to look like nondescript. Yeah, she's, she's mousy. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:08:14 She's got that weird blossom head on too, which I like. Yeah. And she's not like wearing makeup and her to. Stacy anymore, you know. Right. Not Stazy? Who's Stacey? From Fast Times, original time? That's what I know her as. Oh, OK. Yeah. Gotcha. I know her as from a Hudsucker Proxy, where she talks like the newsie the whole time. Yeah, see?
Starting point is 00:08:38 So this lady comes in and fixes the sink. Right. And then they're like, oh, we have fun. We're best friends. Right, and she's kind to, uh, to Jennifer, or to Bridge of Vana because she's crying. Right, right, right. So then there's the montage scene of their newborn friendship. The, the we have fun montage. Where they like find the lamp in the trash. Yeah, it's like so what girls do But then like they're walking down the street right and
Starting point is 00:09:13 What's her Hedy is done for Jason Lee? She says to Allie like you're such great style. I love your outfits and ally looks her and she goes. I think you look very comfortable, which is like the shittiest thing to say to someone you know is like insecure about, you know what I mean? Like, Ali kind of gets what she has coming? She's kind of a bitch. This is so interesting. We're having very different takes on Ali. What did you think of I was like, Ali is just the put-upon woman in this movie. She's just, she, she, she, she, she, she, she, she, she, she, she, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I was, I, I, I was, I was, I was just, I was just, I was just, I was just, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, is, like, like, like, like, like, like, the the the the the the the the the the the th. th. th. the the th. th. th. the th. the th. the th. the thi. the thi. the thi. thi. this movie. She's just being stepped on by everybody. Yeah, her boy, her fiancé steps on her. I mean, I'm not, men treat her terribly. Yeah, she's treating this other woman terribly. Yeah, that's how I feel. She's taking out all of the like aggression that men are taking out on her on like a lower woman, a woman who is less attractive than she is. Yeah, that's how I feel. When she has the business meeting with Ned Ryerson, she was like, if at any point he just like stood up, his clothes dropped off and he was just a man's head
Starting point is 00:10:10 on a snake's body, I was like, yeah, this makes perfect sense, why wouldn't you do that? Right, everything about him is terrible. Oh, yeah, you have such great fashion sense. Yeah, yeah, you're so good at computers. So good at th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th that th the the that that that that that that that the the that that that that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, th. that, that, th. that, th. th. th. th. that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, the that, the that, that, that. that. that, that When he's like, she's like, okay, well, this is the quote for how much this will all be, and he's like, this is what I'm willing to pay. Yeah. Don't embarrass yourself. Don't embarrass yourself. I'm so glad that I'm a woman who owns a business in 2017 and not 1992. For sure. If anyone ever said that to me, I could just need them in the balls. And it it it it it it it it, it, it, and it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, and it, it, it, it, I th. And it, I thi, I thi, I thi, I thi, I thi, I thi, I'd thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, and thi, and thi, and thi, and th. And, and th. And, th. And, th. And, th. And, th. And, th. And, th. And, th. And, th. And, th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. th. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. th. th. th. them in the balls and it would be fine. Give me a yelp review, I don't know.
Starting point is 00:10:45 You know what I'm saying? How the times have changed? Especially when you compare this to the last week's movie Wolfman. Oh yeah. All that would just be working in her dad's store. Speaking of I'm still eating this candy from last week. Happy still Halloween, not yet.
Starting point is 00:11:08 That was a bad wopper. It's all fucked up. Oh, no. I gave you a bad wopper. Oh, I'm still gonna eat it. And she's also just like going through heady stuff. You can't just do that. You do that with roommates, right? If you're an asshole. And I am, so it's fine, but like, she's not supposed to be an asshole.
Starting point is 00:11:26 So J.J.L. is in the shower, Jennifer Jason Lee. She spent a lot of time in the shower. She does. I think it's just so that she had come in with her rope having, hanging half off her body. A lot of titties from her movie. She comes in fine to Ellie going through her stuff. Really? Yeah, not as... Jennifer Jason Lee definitely has the lion chair of them. She comes in fine to Allie going through her stuff and she's just like, that's cool. No, it's not cool.
Starting point is 00:11:52 And then just disrobes and this is where we find out that Allie's prudish because she's never had, she didn't have any siblings so she just stares at the floor. And this is where J.J.L. drops her twin. Stillborn twin. Yeah. Stillborn twin is a great bad name. And then in like appreciation for Ali going through her shit, she gives her the clip-on earrings that she was admiring. Yeah. Okay.
Starting point is 00:12:21 And then in appreciation, she deletes Sam's phone message. Right. Right. And apparently has like intercepted a letter as well. Yeah. Yeah. And Sam's been calling, trying to get Ali back. Basically by just saying, I'm still your boyfriend.
Starting point is 00:12:38 Yeah. You can't tell me I'm not your boyfriend. Oh, gross, dudes, come on. Yeah. So to help Ally through this, Hedy gets, Hhead, Hhead, Hettettettettettettettettettettettettettettettettettettettettettettettettettettettettettettettettettettett, Hedy, Hedy, Hedy, Hedy, Hedy, Hedy, ha, th. th. thi, thi, and thi, and to help, and thi, and thi, and thi, and thi, and th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. And, and th. And, and th. And, and th. And, and th. And, and th. And, and th. And, and th. And, th. And, th. And, th. And, th. And, th. And, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to thea. to thea. thea. thea. thea, the. Ugh, gross dude, come on! Yeah. Um, so to help Ellie through this, uh, Hedy gets her a dog. Which is like getting someone a perpetual infant. A $379 dog. How much that dog cost?
Starting point is 00:12:57 Yeah. How do you know that? Because it was on the receipt that she crumpled up. And then she was like, oh no, they were just giving them away for free. Oh, I didn't catch that. I'm doing the inflation calculator to let you know what that dog would have cost in the all time. Tick, tick, tick, tick, tick, that's the adding machine. You know how much I love the inflation calculator? And I've been using it so much Buddy would cost you in 2017.
Starting point is 00:13:27 What do you think it's going to be? What would you give me a guess? $6.507? You are on the money. So I win the price is right rules. Yeah, I win the washer and trier. Yeah, in a trip to Universal Studios maybe? Oh, Ruba. That's an expensive dog. in a trip to Universal Studios maybe. Oh Ruba. That's an expensive dog. It's true. Especially if you're just gonna throw it on a window. Shit.
Starting point is 00:13:54 Oh, man. Man, that scene of Buddy's broken corpse on the pavement. You're telling me this isn't a horror movie? Over the line, Smokey. Yeah. So Sam basically like convinces Alley to take him back. I don't know why I call him Sam in this line when his name was clearly Brian. Yeah. He convinces Alley to take him back.
Starting point is 00:14:17 And they're like, well, we're back. So we're going to have two apartments because we don't want to kick heady out. We're gonna have two apartments because we don't want to kick heading out. It's like very strange and then they're like by the way you're out What can you explain Something real quick about the the Graham storyline about her washing watching Graham's cat Carmen yeah Graham who I have in my note that Mandy Ptinkin look a motherfucker. I loved him and then I was like wait. no? It's that Tucci. Oh, he's Mandy Tucci. He's man. You're too. too. too. too. the too. the the t. the t. the they. the the the the they. the the the the the the the the the th. the the th. th. th. th. th. th. th. thi. the the th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. the th. the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the th. the th. th. th. th. th. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. th. the thi. th wait, no, it's that Tucci looking mother-fled. Oh, he's just Mandy Tucci. He's Mandy Tucci. You're absolutely right. But like, there's a whole big thing about like,
Starting point is 00:14:49 oh, can you watch my cat for me? Yeah. Going into town? And then nothing comes in that? I think that's above his bed? Did you notice that? Okay, it's all I want to say. And also she is that Mona Lisa cat next to her phone. I was like, that's ahead of its time. It's really good.
Starting point is 00:15:10 She also takes a selfie. Yeah, with the polar right. She's on it. Yeah, she's very fashion forward. For sure. Yeah, so Brian and they and th and th, and th, and th, th, th, th, th, th, and I th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, thi, thi, that's, that's, that's, that's, that's, that's, that's, that's, that's, that's, that's, that's, that's, that's, that's, that's, that's, that's, that's, that's, that's, that's, that's, that's, that's, that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's, that's, that's, that's, that's, that's that's, that's that's that's thi..... that's that's that's that's that's that's thi. that's that's thi. that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's thateddy's on the outs. Right, taking a lot of hot baths. Yeah, sad baths. But she's also like, she's not moving on any time soon. It's like, it doesn't matter, seemingly. Right, until she is.
Starting point is 00:15:34 Until she is. And then, yeah. So she goes and throws the dog out of the window. And then blames it on Brian was supposed to fix the th. th. th. th. th. to fix, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, to to to to to to to to to to th. to to to thi, thi, to be to be to to to to to to to to to to thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. to to to to to to to to to to to to to the thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. the thi. thi. the toooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooom. the, because Brian was supposed to fix the outside guard railing on their little balcony. Brian does not seem like a man who can fix anything. No, well he did a real, I mean he just took like a plumbing like tool to fix a piece of iron work. Like they're not going to do what, the one's not going to do the other. So there's the great sea where like, because he's he's supposed he's supposed he's supposed he's supposed he's supposed he's supposed he's supposed he's he's he's he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he it and then they go out for the night because Allie and Brian from Wings are going out to look for their new place and When they come back the dog's on the ground and
Starting point is 00:16:11 The neighbors are crowded around it and like crying of course you would it was a puppy. Yeah, I'd they run upstairs Which I was like why are you running upstairs? That's puppies downstairs? Tak? Yeah, I'm like? Did they really like? Oh, they're? Oh, the the the the the the the the the the the puppy? the puppy? the puppy? the puppy? the puppy? the puppy? the puppy? the puppy? the puppy? the puppy? the puppy? the puppy? the puppy? the puppy? the puppy? the puppy? the puppy? the puppy? the puppy? the puppy the puppy? the puppy? the puppy? the puppy? the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the dog? the the the dog? the the the the the the the the the th th th th th th th thoooo thooo too to to to to to to to to to to to to to to tho tho tho tho downstairs, take care of this situation. Yeah. Did they really like, well, all right, I guess we'll just run upstairs. Someone else would pick this puppy up, you're on the 14th floor or whatever? Oh God. So they run upstairs and Heddy's got on that great yellow 80s walkman. Yeah. The waterproof one, the sport. It's pretty shock, I didn't, oh no, it's all my fault. And then she's like, actually it's Brian's fault. Because Brian's like, well it's actually my fault.
Starting point is 00:16:47 It didn't fix you. She's like, yeah, you're probably right. And I shouldn't have given you breakfast or whatever. Because she's also like trying to fuck Brian. Seemingly. They're that weird thing where the hand, she's still holding, to still still still still still still still still still still still still still still still still still still still still still still to to to to to to the to to. It's pretty good. But he's also like kind of into it but not like he's just still rebuffing her. I think so yeah. Yeah. But Brian is a man who likes to have his ego stroke. At least. Look it's not Brian's fault what happens to him. There's some things that are his fault.
Starting point is 00:17:18 So she has another meeting with Tobolowski. Is this at this point? Ned Ryerson, where she has like, she's finishing up the job she's doing for him. And she's like not paying or anything, but he's saying he's going to give her contacts within the business. Right. And she's kind of like, fuck you pay me. But she's not too worried about it because we find out that she's done a special thing to the software. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Sure. But it ends up being the two of them alone and he attempts to rape her. Yeah. And she double hand punches him in the balls and I was like, that's my favorite part of this movie. And then runs out, yeah. But he's a, God, he really did a great job of being a total scuzz-buck. Yeah, he's super scuzzy. So Hedy takes Allie to get a haircut, which is like if a friend took me to get a haircut I think I'd be a little insulted. Right.
Starting point is 00:18:10 And this is after she's found that Hedy has like the same clothes that she did, like the same own outfit, but like shirt, jacket and skirt. Right, hanging in her. Haley doesn't get a haircut and sacked. Right. And she doesn't they they they they they they they they they they they they they have they have they have they have they have they have they have they have they have they have they have they have they have th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. thi. thi thi thi. thi. thi. thi. thi to to get to get to get to get to get to get a to get a to get a to get a to get a to get a to get a to get a th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. th. th. th. thi. thi. the. took. took. took. took. took. took. took. took. took. took. took. took. took took took took t't get a haircut today. I couldn't tell what, she's like a flop. She just like a blowout or something. I don't know if they had blowouts then. And then Hedy comes down the steps. With that same fucking haircut, I was like maybe I should get that haircut. Do you think I could do that? It looked like her hair cut from when he was the wolf man.
Starting point is 00:18:43 So th. from when he was the wolf man. So yes, yes, I think you should get. OK. Yeah. Yeah. It's very disturbing. Also, I had, I was friends with these two women right after I graduated from college, one of whom I'm still pretty good friends with. And the other one, we no longer talked to because she totally single white
Starting point is 00:19:02 female, us, and would get the same haircuts and like wear the same clothes and she was very strange and so we stop being friends with her. Now she's just on Instagram like selling Beach Body and taking wild-eyed selfies. And like talking about lunar cycles, I'm not real sure. I don't know what Beach Body is, but I like it. It's like a multi-level marketing scheme of fitness shakes. Oh, okay. Where like for you pay $120 a month,
Starting point is 00:19:28 there's something for protein powder, which is like, why don't you just go to hell? Or did you get to see? Yeah, it's a lot cheaper there. Or Amazon. Mm-hmm. Anyway, we used to say that she's single-wage female enough. I have used that adjective for people as well. Yeah, it's the shitty thing was that she got the same haircut as me,
Starting point is 00:19:49 but I have like kind of wavy hair and she had real thick straight hair and it looks so much better on her and I hated her for it. Everything sucks. The whole I can do that better thing. Yeah. She had a bad breath though. Fucking halitosa sink to my female. Honestly. Allie is understandably bugged out. There's been an attempted rape in her life. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:20:10 Her dog just died. Yeah. Her roommate is a lunatic. Yeah. So she's like, I'm going to do some snoop-loopin. Right. And she finds out some information about Hedy. First she follows her to that Gregorian chant nightclub. Oh, I thought that was after. I think it's before.
Starting point is 00:20:25 OK. It doesn't matter. Does it? You mean when the Enigma song is playing? Yeah. And Hedy is talking to like a bonko Brian from Wings, like a shitty Brian from Wings. We should say that it's a fuck club. We don't see the fucking. It's just happening in like a... It's around the corner.
Starting point is 00:20:45 Around the corner there's like a light effect that happens when people fuck I guess. And like some woman sees Hallie and like beelines for and I was like, do you want to play? Yeah. You're just like, oh, oh, this is literally my social interaction nightmare that's happening right now. Honestly. It's like so 90s and so terrible. And the guy in the cage touches her? Don't touch me cage, what the fuck?
Starting point is 00:21:08 I think if you go in a place like that, you're saying, it's like a shitty haunted house, but like no one's supposed to be allowed to tough. It's t to Hetty. She's, yeah, he says, the bartender says this to Hetty. Yeah, she's been assuming Ali's persona. Yeah, she's wearing like an Alley dress too. And leather gloves?
Starting point is 00:21:34 And then so they go back to the apartment. This is when I think she gets inthrough her stuff again. This happens twice. OK. Yeah. And she finds a shoebox full of newspaper clippings, because always newspaper clippings. Who keeps those? Crazies. I guess so. Oh, we, we, then if we're already here, we've missed one of the most important scenes in this movie. What's that?
Starting point is 00:22:01 When Ali and Brian from Wings get back together, they they they they're they're they're they're they're they're they're they're they're they're they're they're their. they're they're they're their. they're they're like. they're like. they're like. they're like. they're like. they're like. they're like. they're like. they're like. they're like. they're like. they're like. they're. they're. they're they're they're they're like. they're. they're. they're. they're. they're. they're. they're. they're. they're. they're. Wings get back together, they're having makeup sex. And when, and they're like in post-coital and Ali wakes up because she hears some groaning in the apartment and gets up and walks to Hedy's room who's masturbating. Yeah, I mean, that's okay. She's allowed, right? You know, it's actually, yeah, it's totally natural and you should do it. But the thing that makes it weird is like, Hedy catches her spying on her.
Starting point is 00:22:28 Yeah. Ali runs back, because she's got the dog with her who like makes a noise while she's staring at her roommate masturbate. Yeah, why are you staring at your roommate master's let her masturbate? And she runs back into the bedroom and just lays there like she's asleep. But the equally fucked up part is Hendy just comes from the room and stares at them. Oh, I must have missed that. That is incredibly creepy. She doesn't like say anything.
Starting point is 00:22:52 She doesn't try to wake her up and be like, yo, I know you're watching me jerk it. Why does that anybody just let each other jerk it alone? I don't? Yeah, erotic. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I thi. I thi. I thi. I thi. I thi. I thi. I thi. I thi. I thi, I thi, I thi, I thi, I thi, I th- I th- I th- I th- I must thi, I must th- I must th- I must th- I must th- I must th- I must th- I must th- I must must must th- I must th- I must th- I must th- I must th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th. Oh. Oh. Oh, I must th. I must th. I must th. I must th- I must thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thr--. I must thr- I thi thr- I must thi thee- I must thi the- the- I must thi thi thi's why this is an erotic thriller. Didn't, yeah, erotic? Wikipedia says it too. Okay. Oh no, I could, yeah, I can see that. So around now is when she's hanging out with Graham, and Graham tells her that he can hear her fucking upstairs.
Starting point is 00:23:19 Which she says after she's already told him all the stuff about Hedy. Yeah. Like, why didn't he mention that before she started telling these Hedy Secrets? Which is, the Hedy Secrets are that like her name's Ellen and she had a, her twin sister, and she had a, her twin sister died when she was nine, she drowned or something. And that she had stolen, she found it, and that she And like, the whole time she's telling the Hedy Secrets, Hedy is like all 10 fingers inside of the grate and just like listening and- But why is Graham not telling her about this beforehand? Like, by the way, if she's down there, she can probably hear us. Yeah, it's not the first time they fucked.
Starting point is 00:23:54 No. I love you, Graham, but you're stupid. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. th. th. th. th. to. to. th. to to th. th. th. th. to th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. to th. to th. thi. thi. th. th. th. th. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. G. G. G. th. G. th. G. G. th. th. thi. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. to. to. to. to. to. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. th vent. This is my fuck tape. This will work. This will be fine. I don't need air. When you grammed it on here, me fucking. My noise cancelling, fucktape. So from here, oh, this is then the Brian from Wings, excellent scene. Yeah. Where, so Hedy has this haircut.
Starting point is 00:24:21 She steals this really ugly space that that that that that that tha tha tha she steals this really ugly space coat that Ali's been wearing, and wears it over to Brian from Wings's house with no clothes under it. Yeah, like a flasher. And get into bed with him and give him a beage. Halfway through the blowjob, which is probably the quickest blowjob in human history. He was sleeping, it's not the fault. Halfway through he wakes up and he's like, oh God, you're not Allie. Yeah. I'm gonna let you finish. It's really quick though, like at that point too, she's literally got you by the balls.
Starting point is 00:24:52 What are you supposed to do? You're in a vulnerable situation. I think you freak out a little bit. Do you? He doesn't freak out even when when when when when when when when when when when when when when when when when when when when rolls over and stares into space. Like, it seems like some action is required from you, Brian, from Wings. He was in his refractory period. I guess. We did miss that at this point, Hedy has beaten Graham to death.
Starting point is 00:25:18 So we think. So we think. Because she heard all this shit and she went up and she's unhappy. That's right. So she gets into an argument with Brian from Wings where he's like, Ali can't stand you and she's like, now we're sisters. And then she hits him with a stiletto heel. And she throws one shoe and then stabs him in the fucking eye? Yeah, and he dies. He dies. It's great.
Starting point is 00:25:39 So, OK, the reason I was even thinking about this movie is because Rob's been watching a lot of wings lately again. Jesus Christ. I know. I love it. And there's an episode where Brian, oh, I'm sorry, he gets a bunch of parking tickets and then is like kissing up to this lady cop to get out of the tickets.
Starting point is 00:25:57 And she becomes sort of like a real clingy, like our weak girlfriend, boyfriend, you know, Brian gets into this relationship he doesn't want to be in. And he comes into the terminal where they were one day. And someone asked him how he's doing, and he's like, I'm great, I don't have a stiletto heel driven through my chest or something like that. And I was like, oh, fuck, that's a single white female reference. But that episode of wings was two years earlier. It it. It it. It was. It was, it. It was, it was, it was, it was, it was, it was, it was, it was, it was, it was like. th. th. th. th. th. thi. thi. thi. And it was like, wow. And it was like, wow, wow, wow, wow, wow, wow, and thi. And, and th. And, and th. And, and someone. And, and someone, and someone. And, and someone. And, and someone. And, and someone. And, and someone. And, and someone. And, and someone. And, and someone. And, and someone. And, and someone. And, and someone. And, and someone. And, and th. And, and th. And, and th. And, and th. And, th. And, th. And, th. And, th. And, th. And, th. And, th. And, th. And, th. And, th. th. th. th. th. the th. the th. the th. the th. the the the the th. And the the the the the th life. So now we have to go through and watch all of wings and figure out what other prophecies have been laid forth. I think a lot.
Starting point is 00:26:31 Brian Hackett. Does he give a prophecy where he says, at least I'm not an energy drink mogul that's turning people in the zombies? Maybe. Oh, he's the bad guy and eye zombie. Yeah. With him. Spoiler alert.
Starting point is 00:26:49 Oh, spoilers for wings, too. I love your family's love of wings. Look, it's not my family. It's Rob. It's also Frazier. It's a problem in this house. It's just like he thinks they're so funny. It's so strange. I know. Sorry, I just could. Look, a lot of people like shitty things. Wings could be worse, you know.
Starting point is 00:27:14 Oh, for sure. For sure. At least he wasn't like, you know, racism. Anyway, so Brian's fucking dead. And Ali's in the news. Can we talk about the most important thing you saw right before he died? Oh yeah. Brian's taint?
Starting point is 00:27:31 You mean where I said to Rob, please rewind it? I missed a Brian's balls. Because he was like, oh, we just saw Brian's balls. And I was like, I missed it, rewind it. Yeah, I just saw Brian's balls. like making a note previously on my phone. Yeah. So we were around it and looked at them again. They're beautifully shot in shadow. Yeah, it's backlit. Brian's balls. You see a little bit of his Wang and then his balls, yeah.
Starting point is 00:27:51 It's fine. Brian's got a nice butt. Everyone in this movie is a really nice butt. There's not a really nice butt. Yeah, for sure. Yeah. Yeah. This is before. T th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th is th. th. th. th is th. th. th. th is th. th. th. th is th is th. th is th is th is the. th. the. th. th. th is is is the. the. the. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. thea. thea. thea. thea. thea. thea. thea. thea. thea. the. the. the. the. I want to see the taint of a dead man. Which is also a good name for a band. Yeah, I agree. So now Heidi goes into full psycho mode. Yeah. She goes and gets a suitcase out of the basement.
Starting point is 00:28:16 She puts herself in it to make sure a person can fit in it, which I thought was good. She pulls out a boot that has a gun inside of it. Yep. This goes, and then this goes on for like 45 minutes, like the final confrontation of her and alley. Exactly, like I was like, I paused it and I was like, holy shit, there's an hour left of this movie. Yeah. So they like are running all over the apartment building, chasing each other with a gun, with a knife. It's like a huge building. They live on like a te. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. the the the the the the the the the their, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, the th. the the th. th. the the the the the the the the the the the the the the they. the their, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, they live on like the 12th floor or something. There's no one else in the building period. How can that be? Yeah, until the like one of the like ending scenes where they need a neighbor to be in the building. Yeah. Or you mean when she's like turned some music up for that?
Starting point is 00:28:57 I was like mad at her. I was like, are you really just going to find something to watch on TV. And also like when she heard them knocking on the door, why didn't she turn it down to make those muffled yellows? Because she had dropped the remote control. Oh I miss that. Yeah. They're in a knockdown drag out. Keep repeatedly tying Allie up in tape. Yeah. Like Mitch comes in and tries to save her. I don't know why he goes to Graham's house. Well, so... It doesn't matter. Don't explain it to me. Doesn't matter? Yeah, sort of. Okay, fine. Because she had, she had put the triggering mechanism in that if he didn't pay her after a certain date and erased all of his files. Yeah, but how does he go to
Starting point is 00:29:35 Graham? Because she had given him Graham's because she was cat sitting. She's like the phone. to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to the number to the the to to the the the to the the the the the the th. th. th. the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the th. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. tr. I. tr. I s. I s. true. true. true. true. true. true. true. true. try. try. try. try me here as well. In a world before, cell phones. I almost said, cell phones. You did actually say cell phones. Sailfones. It's my Delaware exit coming out. So he comes in, and this is another really weird choice by an actor and or human being. Because he comes in and finds Allie on the floor in tape. Yeah. So he sits down and straddles her to take the the the the the the the th. the th. I th. th. I th. th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. So he sits down and straddles her to take the tape off of her. That's Ned Ryerson for you.
Starting point is 00:30:10 Real gross though. Knit the nose, right? Ned the head. Needle nose Ned? I don't remember. I would do that movie in too long since. After I realized it was actually a horror movie. I know. I would do that movie in too long since. After I realized it was actually a horror movie, I can't watch it now.
Starting point is 00:30:25 Groundhog's Day? Yeah. Why is it a horror movie? Because like, I guess I always thought it was only a course of, over the course of like a couple weeks each day that he wakes up as like a day, you know? But really to master all those I've only seen it once in the theater. Really? I've seen it about a billion times. Are you sure? You weren't just living the same day for whatever. I am the weather. So he straddles her and like is, what's
Starting point is 00:31:04 what's going on? I don't understand what's going on now. Yeah, like, why don't you help her before you? Whatever. He gets dead anyway. Yeah, he gets killed by Hedy. Yeah. And then, Hedy's shooting everybody,
Starting point is 00:31:18 shoots Ali. This is after Graham has, we see Graham in the bathtub with his cat curled up on his shoulder. I fucking love Gram and Carmen. I, I th, I th, I th, I th, I th, I th, I th, I th, th, th, th, th, th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th tho, tho, tho, th tho, tho-I tho- tho- like tho- like, why tho- like, why tho- tho- tho- tho, why tho, why tho, why tho, why tho, why tho, tho, tho, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th th. thu? thu? thuuui. thu. tho-s, thooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo-a, th has, we see Graham in the bathtub with his cat curled up on his shoulder. I fucking love Graham and Carmen. I just want to be friends with them. Did you think that Graham would have had the worst neck ache on earth in the position that he'd been in for days? Still comes out and he comes out and tries to help. He does. God bless Graham. Best guy. the g. Graham. the best guy. Oh. the th. and Allie, like, throws Hedy into a window, picks up the broken glass and stabs her with it. And I was like, that's hard. That's badass.
Starting point is 00:31:50 Yeah. See, they've been in this, so they get in this, like, pretty violent fight that goes all over the building, into the basement. There's like, the inc that, that, that, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th.. It's, th. It's, th. It's, thi. It's, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, thi, thi, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, that, that's, that's, that, that's, that, that, that, that, that, that, that's, that's, that's, that's, that's. that's. that's. that's. that's. th. that's been clearly labeled from earlier. I mean it's great. And Alec delivers that great line. She's like, Hedy says something to her about like you're me. Yeah. And she's like, I'm not you anymore. I'm your sister now. What does that even mean? I don't know, but it sounds tough and I like it. Yeah. Yeah. And Hedy is also given her this talk about like how identical twins are never really identical, one is always prettier than the other? What does that mean? It looked identical to me. So Allie ends up stabbing Hedy like several
Starting point is 00:32:32 times which is really violent and really good. Yeah, with Chekhov's elevator's screwdriver. Yeah, sometimes you need a screwdriver to fix this elevator. Yeah, and then like sort of like stays with her while she dies. Yeah. Which I appreciate it. You know I like to make sure that the person's dead if you're killing the bit of harm. She looked kind of like sad though. Yeah. And then our, she's got the voiceover, which I labeled the voiceover bullshit at the end
Starting point is 00:32:58 of this movie. Yeah, what was that about like forgiveness and... Yeah, she's forgiven her for killing... What is she forgiving herself for, for being a terrible roommate? I guess? Not taking better care of buddy. Yeah. And then that is the end of single white female Katie. Alan. You want to do anything else? You want to... You want to... I'm just... Are you single way female in me? Go ahead, I'm sorry. No, no, you go ahead. Do you want to go to the...
Starting point is 00:33:32 We always finish each other's sentences. Yeah, let's rate this bitch. I love this movie. I love it. How many times have you seen this before? A billion. Really? Seven. Seven billion. Yeah. Seven times I'm giving this a seven. I love this movie. It's delightful. It's exciting. It's got Brian from wings. It's got balls. It's got boobs. It's got bubs. I liked some of the direction a lot. I liked that everything, there was a ton of mirrors used in this.
Starting point is 00:35:06 Like they would start a conversation, then you'd realize they're in a mirror and it would move out of it or. That must have meant something, I guess. I think because there's that opening scene where the two twin girls are putting makeup on and at first you think it's just one girl putting makeup onthen you realize she's doing it to her sister. Oh, yeah, yeah. And at the end, there's that like weird picture that's half their faces. Yeah. Yeah. That was my bullshit voiceover.
Starting point is 00:35:29 Yeah, agree. That's why I didn't get any. Let's make this artsy right at the end here. You can't do that. It's too late. But it was fun. It's it's it's a that. It's that. Starting point is 00:35:54 I'm sure it's down at the bottom of Netflix if you just keep scrolling down. When you get to the end of horror and you're like, fuck I've seen it all. It's the last one. You can't just call your movie the Exor-Suh, but you've got to finish it. Come on, what are you doing at the bottom of Netflix? But it's fun, it's fucking ridiculous. It's fucking ridiculous. Yeah, I don't know that it's a horror movie, but hey, come on.

Starting point is 00:38:59 You saying come to die. Sorry? No, I love it. Come to Daddy? Why is he so weird? Why is he fuck with jeans on? Can we do Hellraiser again? I really want to do Hellraiser too at some point, but that's not what we're doing next week. Come to Daddy? We're doing the Vinny Jones, Bradley Cooper, before he became Bradley Cooper. I think Brooke Shields. I, th Yes! In a movie called Midnight Meat Train.
