Starting point is 00:00:00 Okay, spoilers. Spoiler, spoiler, spoiler, spoiler. Oh, letting them know. Let them know what? Spoilers. Spoilers. Spoilers. Spoilers. Spoilers. Spoilers. Spoilers. Spoilers. Spoilers. Spoilers. Spoilers. the whole time. It's not good joke. I don't know. I just came up with it right now. I was amazed hair the whole time. It's not good. It's not a good joke. It's not a good joke. I just came over there right now. I was amazed by his hair. It looked nice. When did he go from that to like being enormously buff and shaving his head? Later.
Starting point is 00:00:34 Later. Yeah. Because what year is this? I was ugly in high school. Yeah. I don't believe you, but I'm... No, it just took me a long time to grow into this. Like, this nose is difficult. I went to high school in a time, very straight hair, and I've got this not straight hair. Gotcha.
Starting point is 00:00:57 I just stopped fighting. Whatever. Whatever. I wasn't cute, but it was very funny. which happens when you're not cute a lot of the time. Sure. So, you know, it's fine. My friend started dating a guy on the football team. Oh wow. Yeah. The JV football team, but still. And he had two friends who were on the football team. She had two friends, was myself and, you know, another friend.
Starting point is 00:01:19 This is a story as old as time. Yeah, well, well, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, the th, th, th, th, the th. th. th. th. th. th. th. thi, th. th. th. th. th. th. thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, the, the the the the, the, they. Yeah, they. Yeah, they. Yeah, they. Yeah, they. Yeah, they. Yeah, they. Yeah, they. Yeah, they. Yeah, they. Yeah, they. Yeah, th. Yeah, th. Yeah, th. Yeah, th. Yeah, th. Yeah, th. Yeah, thi. Yeah, thi. Yeah, thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. thi. th. Yeah, th. Yeah, well it isn't because we got together one night to watch the Sixth Sense and I was like I like horror movies like I'm gonna be so cool about this and they're gonna think I'm so cool and but the time the movie was over I hadn't seen it before I had pit stains that looked like fucking Jesus' head I was so sweaty and scared so whenever I see this movie or think about being embarrassed in front of a football team. What could have been if not for Pitt's stands? I know I could have been like I could have gone to Penn State. I could have I could be driving a Jeep right now. You could.
Starting point is 00:01:58 I probably take better care of my interior anyway. Not just throwing milkshakes around Willie Millie. Willie Nilly milkshakes. It's my new band. It's a children's songs band. Willy Nilly milkshakes? That's not bad. That's pretty good.
Starting point is 00:02:14 Copyright. I'm definitely gonna make up a song called Willie Nilly Make, fuck it. It's hard to say. It's a tongue twister. Yeah. So Bruce. I'm Katie. I'm Alan. This is a werewolf ambulance. We're still a little riled up from last week's episode. We're all out of sorts. We also are now wearing crowns.
Starting point is 00:02:35 We're wearing Christmas crowns. We found them in those crackers. It's been a week. Happy New Year, right? Oh yeah, today's New Year's Day. I hope you are hung over and that you got home safely. Yeah, and eat a lot of cheese, it'll make you feel better. Keep every one of your resolutions, every one of them. Don't be a fucking quitter. Don't make resolution, guys, it's just a way to let yourself down later. Honestly, and just take care of your loved ones every day and just like, just like be like so then and be like so at peace of the world.
Starting point is 00:03:05 Fucking Namastay, motherfuckers. Yeah. I'm a Namastay sweaty. You and me both sister. I don't get it. Why do I do? I mean I know why I do. Why? Why? Why? Because I'm a big ape of them. For me it's because I'm Italian. OK. So let's, how do we, how do we get it? OK, so this movie, seriously, if you've never seen this movie or? How could you not know the end? And it's spoiled for, well, I had it spoiled for me before I saw it. Did you?
Starting point is 00:03:35 That's bullshit. Well, I've got my finger in the theater. I saw it when it came out on VHS. Same. Did you watch it with the football team? The JV football team. That would have been a little weird because I would have been in somewhere in my 20s at that point. Yeah, I would have been what, 25? It's a little bit? Yeah, 1999. Yeah. Yeah. That was 15. Yeah. Yeah, I was 15. Yeah, I was 15. Yeah, yeah. Yeah, I was. Yeah, I was. Yeah, I was. Yeah, I was. Yeah, I was. Yeah, I was. Yeah, I was. Yeah, I was. Yeah, I was. Yeah, I was. Yeah, I was. Yeah, I was. Yeah, I was. Yeah, I was. Yeah, I was. Yeah, I was. Yeah, I was. Yeah, I was. Yeah, I was. Yeah, I was. Yeah, I was that. Yeah, that. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah, I was. Yeah, I was. Yeah, I was. Yeah, I was. Yeah, I was. Yeah, I was. Yeah, I was. Yeah, I was. Yeah, I was. Yeah, I was. Yeah, I was. Yeah, I was. Yeah, I was. Yeah, I was. Yeah, I was. Yeah, I was. Yeah, I was. Yeah, I was. Yeah, I was. Yeah, I was. Yeah, I was. Yeah, I was. Yeah, I was. Yeah, I was. Yeah, I was. Yeah, I was. Yeah, I was. Yeah, I was. Yeah, I was. Yeah, that, like, see it, because it's a twist, I'm a channel and we're gonna spoil it, but like, honestly, I don't know how you could never have heard the, like, heard it. Arguably, the best of his twist, because it isn't a twist, it's just a, oh, fuck. The first time I saw, I I remember being fucking Suddened. Yeah. How did I not see it coming? Right, right, right. Because it would now, once, re-watching
Starting point is 00:04:30 it, you know it. Yeah. Yeah. But it's, uh, so stop now, come back after you've seen it. Hang up the phone. Download it again. Um, then download it again. Yeah, I don't know what Lipsen's doing. We gotta get those numbers back up. So this is, this is a ghost story. And it's very Hitchcockian as well, which I think is what M. Night Shymalon was going for. Yeah, yeah, I think, yeah, I think this is also his most successfully done movie. The acting is awesome. Yeah. You know what I didn't realize before watching it this time? The school teacher from Rushmore is Bruce Billis's wife? No, but you're right. She is. You're right. I was going to say how
Starting point is 00:05:11 good Tony Collette is. Oh she's amazing. She's amazing. I had no idea. Also, Philadelphia! How good Haley Joel Osmett is? He's so good. He's so good. He's incredible. He is adorable. He's so adorable. He's so good. As a child, there's their th. th. th. th. th. th. th. thi th. thi thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. tho to thi. thi. thi. to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to thi. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. thi. thi. thi. thi. the. the. the. the. the. thea. to to to to to to thi. thi. thi. As a child like there's no way I could do what he did. Oh no I mean as an adult. No, no. Also this is kind of a love letter to Philadelphia don't you think? Yeah, it's shot very lovingly of the city and like I have no particular love for Philadelphia because everyone they're so mean. Yeah, it's a weird place like I'm from Pittsburgh which is a city. Yeah, I have th. I th. I th. I have th. I have th. I have th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. the the th. the their their their their their their th. It's no there's no there's no there there's no there's no there's no there's no there there th. It's a weird. That's my old hometown. I know that. It's a weird place like I'm from Pittsburgh, which is a city. But like when I walk down the main street in the business district of my neighborhood, people say hello to me. I say hello to them. I don't know them. We just say hello to one another. You don't do that in Philadelphia. No. Because people will like spit on you. I'd be mean to you. their th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. thi. thi. thi. th. thi. th. I'm th. I'm th. I'm thi. I'm thi. I'm th. I'm th. I'm th. I'm th. I'm th. I'm th. I'm th. I'm th. I'm th. I'm th. I'm th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I'm th. I'm th. I'm th. I'm th. I'm th. I'm from th. I'm from th. I'm from thi. I'm from thi. I'm from thi. I'm from thi. I'm from thi. I'm from thi. I'm from thi. I'm from thi. I'm from thi. I'm from thi. I'm from th. I'm spit on you. I'd be mean to you and punch you and hit you and yell at you and tell you you're a bitch.
Starting point is 00:06:06 I've probably told this before on here, but after living in Pittsburgh for six months, after living in Philadelphia for six years, I was like, what the fuck is wrong with my face? It's because I had stopped scowling everywhere. Because in Philadelphia I just walked around looking mean as shit and no one fucked with me. I never got fucked with, never got nothing. It's because I'm a giant ape man. You're a you're a tall and intimidating person. So but I was like oh wait yeah I'm smiling at people now and like Philly's an angry city for sure like but it's also like it's got a lot of beauty and this movie showcases that. Oh, it's architecturally gorgeous. It just is. Full of dickholes, though.
Starting point is 00:06:50 It's also full of some of the most wonderful people, I know. Hey Jim. Hey Dennis. Hi, Ryan. Justin. Yeah. Oh, Justin. Who else? I mean, I have friends in Philadelphia, too, but I'm just naming yours. Hi, Missy. Missy with an eye, diamond with a y. She owns a business called Shade Sunless Tanning. You want to get spray tanned? You look up Missy Diamond. Oh, Missy Diamond's a good-ass name. I know.
Starting point is 00:07:17 Missy Diamond is eye, Diamond with a Y. That's awesome. Yeah. You won't get any better than that. Now, if you can make your name into a catchphrase, that's dope. I know, I know, I know. Also, Missy Diamond once described to me the plot of I know who killed me before I saw it. Yeah. It was amazing. She must have been so excited. She really was. All right, so how do you want to get into this? Let's talk about how it was the second highest grossing film of 1999, behind Star Wars
Starting point is 00:07:47 episode one, the Phantom Menace. You like that, right? Everybody liked that one? That's a good one? It's a good Star War. It's where it all started. It's where it all started. psychologist and he's the top of his game. He's just got an award with a lot of words on it. Yeah. And his wife is reading it to him even though he's probably
Starting point is 00:08:08 read it. Yeah, but she's hell a supportive. She's hell a supportive but she says one of the things that I most hate that I most hate in when people say, okay? Which is adults. Is it because she's British? thii' the thi. thi. thi. thi's because thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi's thi's thi's thi's thi's thi's thi's thi's thi's thi's thi. thi. thi thi th. th. th. th. th. thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi's thi. And thi. And thi. And thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. the thi. theeeeeeeee. thi. theee. thi. the thee. the thi. the the thi. the thi. th? I think so. Okay, maybe that's why. I also hate when people say, especially. Oh yeah, especially is the worst. It's right up there with expresso. Get the fuck out of here. But also I from time to time will say across. When I'm saying across. I do it. Yeah. It's like a regionalism. Is it? Yeah. So they're like going to get sexy times.
Starting point is 00:08:45 Oh yeah. He's like the best child psychologist and everybody wants to fuck that child psychologist. And handsome is the Dickens. Oh, he looks great. I think he still looks great though. I find Bruce Willis to be like... I'm a fan. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:08:57 For a long time I would just watch whatever Bruce Willis was in. I've seen some bad movies. Really, What's the worst,'s movie? Oh, there was one that where he's the, like, the negotiator or something where he's like, I like that. He's called out to, when like, there's a hostage negotiation, he has to go out and like talk the person down.
Starting point is 00:09:16 I don't remember anything of what happened in the movie. Yeah, but that he's in it in it in in in in in in in in hea hea, they've realized someone has broken into their home, and they hear a noise in their bathroom and they find a man in his underpants. Not just a man. I was fucking stunned, realizing it was Donny Wahlberg. What the fuck? He's a new kid. He's a new kid.
Starting point is 00:09:38 He's a new kid. He's a new kid. Was he an actor at this time? Was he already, was he Donnie Wahlberg other than being a new kid? I think this was when he was getting into acting. Because he's still like a scrawny dude. He looked, I, because I remember in my, remember in my memory of being like a thin, weird man. Yeah. Not fucking Donnie Walbert.
Starting point is 00:09:58 He does a really great job of like fucking his face up and like he's like keeping his face in a really weird scrunched up like miserable face like. If you would ask me who that actor was I would have told you it was a nobody. Yeah. I would have never pegged Donnie. Oh, when he showed up I was like oh, it's that guy and miss who's like yeah Donnie Walburton. No, I'm not who the better actor out of the two. Oh, Donnie is the preferable Walburg.
Starting point is 00:10:28 Although I think he's like married to Jenny McCarthy now and she's just a monster, so. Also, vaccinate your kids. Herd immunity is important, okay? Like, I don't want, you're an anti-faxer, I don't want you listening. They stuck with us through everything else that we've said. It's fine. Daxnate your children.
Starting point is 00:10:52 Donnie Wohlberg showed up in a movie and it was like, I'm a science teacher, I'd go, okay. Yeah. Yeah. When his brother shows up and you, th. You have a third grade education, I know it. Anyway, Donnie, crazy. Vincent Gray, his character is, yeah. He's crazy and he felt that Mark will... No.
Starting point is 00:11:15 Marcus Mark. Donald Don, no, it's not good. He felt that Bruce Willis had let him down. Yeah, so he shoots him and shoots himself. Yeah, shoots Bruce Willis in the gut. Yeah, gut-shotting someone is so terrible. I know. And Bruce falls back on the bed,
Starting point is 00:11:33 or Malcolm Crow as his name. Can we just call him Bruce Willis? And the text, the screen text tel us it's the next fall. We cut to Bruce Willis waiting for The little kid and the text the screen text sells us it's the next fall. Yeah He chases this kid down the street That keeps being chased by a grown ass man. That's horrifying. Who's already got notes on him. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Those notes. I don't know. That's just like one thing that I was eh. How did you get those notes? I like that you asked it really quietly though. How did you get those notes? It's not what ASMR. Horror podcast. A.S. M. Horr. How do you get those notes? That's not what a. This sounds like the worst clip song ever.
Starting point is 00:12:19 Where did they see my notes? So he's referred to Cole because Cole, like, I don't know, was drawing pictures or something? Got problems. Yeah, and he finds him in a church. Right. We're wearing big, fake glasses. Yeah. And I was like, oh man, this movie, that kid doesn't even have lenses in his glasses.
Starting point is 00:12:41 But that's part of the story. Yeah, I know. He's a very cute kid, very precocious. Oh God, he's fucking adorable. His father has left and he's being raised by Tony Colette who's working two jobs and is so Philadelphia, it hurts. Yeah. And she's a, she's Australian, I believe. No shit. Yeah. She's killing it. Because yeah, she's in that movie Muriel's wedding. That's where I first was introduced to her, which I believe is an Australian film, or New Zealand are one of... They're all the same to you, aren't they? I'm missing them off.
Starting point is 00:13:11 Do you know what Cole's last name is? Sear? Yeah. Yeah, that's kind of a bummer. Which I have the note, come on, the the the the note, the the the the th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, tho, th, th, tho, tho, tho, that's, that's, that's, tho, that's, that, that, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, th... And, th. And, th. And, the the the the the, tho, tho, tho., tho... It's, tho. And, they're they're they're they're they're they're they're they're the, the, come on M-Night. Come on M-Night. But I like when Cole asked him, he asked Bruce Willis if he's a good doctor, and Bruce Willis says, I used to be a good doctor. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:13:35 Which is just like, oh you hit it from the jump. Yeah. That everyone's on board except for the audience. Yeah, I love it. So good. I mean, really well done. It really is. It's, it's like subtle even. Yeah, yeah. It's not.
Starting point is 00:13:49 What happened between this movie and the rest of his movies? Did he like a CTE or something? So what I think happened. Hit in the dome? Some dingers? Can't go wrong? Yeah, that's what a CTE is, the concussion. Yeah, yeah, you think he's got that? So, no, I think what happened was that he was like, I'm the twist guy, I gotta do a fucking twist. When this movie isn't a twist, it's just a revelation.
Starting point is 00:14:14 Yeah. And that's, I guess that's what all the twist are in his movies, but it's like, they they they they they they they they they they's like, they's like, they's like, they's like, they's like, they's like, they they they they they they they they they they're like, they started being like, you didn't see this coming, yeah, because there's no fucking like lead up to this. Like, did you ever watch Unbreakable? No. It's Bruce Willis and spoiler alert. It turns out he's a superhero. But like, you, the audience has brought to this realization at the same time as the main character. And it's really well done.
Starting point is 00:14:44 Really like that movie a lot. And Samuel Jackson is in it. And he plays, spoiler, a super villain. And it's really cool to see that dynamic of a comic book but like laid out super seriously. And that's the last good Mnichamelan movie in my opinion. Did you, do you see the village? I didn't see that that that that the the the the the the v the v the v the v the v the v.......... the the the th. th. the th. th. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah........................................................................................................................................................... did. I didn't see that. Yeah, I liked it all the way up until the twist. It became all about the twist rather than about telling the story up to the twist. I saw, I remember seeing his newest movies split, was that his movie?
Starting point is 00:15:15 Yeah. You said you didn't even remember. I hated it. I can't remember what I remember that the person, my friend Colleen, from, what was it, Ritual? The Ritual? Yeah. We saw that movie together. I remember her just like, openly, loudly laughing at the twist? But I can't remember what it is now in the theater.
Starting point is 00:15:33 For some reason I had a logge in my head. He's in the X-Men's. Oh, I don't know about those. He plays a young professor Xavier. I don't know who that is. Anyway, anyway. So basically this movie is Cole having, well, it takes a while before he tells. So I didn't remember this either that you don't see anything from Cole's perspective until like mid movie.. those. those. those. those. those. those.. those. those. those. those. those. those those those those those those those those those those those those those those thoes. thoes. thoomomoy thoomoy thozy thozy thoes. thozy. thozy. He was thozy. He was thozy. He was tho. He was tho. He was tho. He was thoing. He was thoing. He was thoing. He was thoing. He was thoing. He was thoing. He thoing. He thoing. He thoing. He tho tho tho tho tho tho tho tho tho tho tho tho tho tho tho tho tho to to to too tooing. to tooing. toells so I don't didn't remember this either that
Starting point is 00:16:08 You don't see anything from Coles perspective until like mid-movie Yeah in my mind. It was like boom boom boom boom boom Boom scary scary scary because that's the stuff that probably jumped out of you the most Yeah, and I think this movie has a lot of like images that really stick with you because if you and I and I and you and I and I thrown the th the th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th thrube thrown thrown. th. the th. th. the the th. the the the th. th. the the the th. the th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. thi thi th. th. th. th. th. the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. thr. told. to told. to told. to to told. to told. to told. the the the thold. the thole. the thole. th. the the people hanging and you were like, I remember the kid with the back of his head gone. And I was like, I remember Misha Barton barfing all over herself. Like, these are these images that stick with you. But that's like, they don't happen until. No, you're an hour and change. You're an hour and change. And they happen quickly, you see them, you see them, you see that he sees dead people. Yeah, literally halfway through the movie.
Starting point is 00:16:47 Yeah. And that scene got spoofed a lot, I feel in the, in its contemporary films like, um, scary movie. Yeah. Was it a Lance Brother saying, I see white people? I think it was. I've definitely seen like, I see fat people, I see white people, like all sorts of... We live in a cruel world? I've probably seen like, I see fat people, I see white people, like all sorts of... I see fat people? Oh God.
Starting point is 00:17:05 We live in a cruel world. But yeah, there's been like a thousand spoofs of this. And like, that's the thing, like having not seen it when it came out in the theaters and by the time it came out on was like, I don't know, it's still a powerful movie. Agree. So through the through the movie, Bruce Willis is trying to help Cole as a child psychologist would. And there's these great scenes of like Bruce Willis and Cole's mom sitting in a room together but not talking. And Cole coming in and just addressing his mom. Yeah. And then she leaves and he starts begrudgingly talking to Bruce. to. to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to the the the the the the their their their their their their their thooooom. thoom. thoom. I their their their their their their their. their their. I their their their their their their their their their their. I. I. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their their their their their their thoooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooe. thea. their. their. their. their. addressing his mom. Yeah. And then she leaves and he starts begrudgingly talking to Bruce Willis. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:17:49 And like the whole thing we're like, can we talk now and Cole's just shaking his head no. And it's like, oh he's not talking because he doesn't want his mom to hear him talking to nobody. Right. He doesn't want his momto look at him like a freak. It's so sad. That's like just heartbreaking. Oh, there's definitely a scene in this movie where I bawled like a fucking child. Is it the end in the car? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:18:10 Yeah. With grandma and she said you were an angel? Fucking shit. Brilliant. They're selling it so well. Watching this after watching Ginger Dead Man was like, I couldn't believe how people could act. And then I was like, oh, I guess I can't be an actor after all. You can't, you're just going to pick your shots. I guess.
Starting point is 00:18:31 I don't know my angles. That what you mean? Now that's Instagram. Once we know that Cole sees dead people, sure. In very scary places. I think the people hanging are the first ones. Yeah, because he has that weird interaction with his teacher.
Starting point is 00:18:50 Yeah, stuttering Stanley. I love that. So tens. So who was telling him that? That's a good question. Oh, they're probably the woman who, in the fire. Oh right, yeah. Because someone is telling him that we can't see that Stanley, who is his teacher, was a stutterer in school. And like the kid just, Cole just lays into him over and I was like, this is really uncomfortable. It was super uncomfortable. But before that, we had the scene
Starting point is 00:19:18 that I really like that I felt to be really creepy where his mom steps out of the kitchen and goes into the laundry and the c-c................. the. the. the. the. the. And, the. And, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, they. And, they. And, they. And, they's, they. And, they. And, they.s. And, they.s. And, they. And, they. And, they. And, they. And, they steps out of the kitchen and goes into the laundry and then steps back into the kitchen and all the closets, all the cupboards and drawers were open. That's real creepy. Also, did you think of Rob when you saw that? Because he leaves every fucking thing open? Not living with Rob. I just feel like you saw it firsthand. Oh, that's right. That's right.
Starting point is 00:19:46 I thought that was a little nod to the film Poldergeist. Ah, yeah, yeah. Who are weird shit kind of... Not just my weird life. Yeah. No. Cole's mom is looking at photos of him
Starting point is 00:19:59 and she starts to notice that there's a little orb of light in all of the photos next to him. Who dad??? that? that? that? that? that? that? that there's a little orb of light in all of the photos next to him. Who dat? I guess that's a ghost? Ghostos? He's always looking at it too. Yeah. Yeah, ghost. I'm gonna go with ghostos. But she just like this is the first time that she's noticed it. Yeah, and she doesn't, it doesn't, she's busy. Yeah, she works two jobs. She works two jobs. She got this kid, I'm th. And th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, tho, tho, tho, tho, th tho, tho, th tho, tho, th th tho, tho, tho, tho, tho, tho, tho, tho, th th th th th th th th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, tho, tho, tho, tho, tho's tho's thooooo's thoooooooo' thoooooa. thoooooo's tho's tho's tho's tho. th kid who's just totally stressing her out all the time. Yeah. It felt very babadukish at this point. Like, yeah. Sort of drawing from the same well, I guess, of mama's dress. You know what other scene made me want to cry?
Starting point is 00:20:33 Was the one where they're sitting at the dinner table? And he like, she's accusing really didn't. Oh God. Like he just can't lie to his mother. Yeah, and also like, he really didn't. Yeah. And she's just at the end of her rope and life is so hard. And, uh, Dude, what about the line where Bruce Willis sees the guy who's courting his now widowed
Starting point is 00:21:05 wife that he's not, doesn't realize is widowed yet and says, keep moving, cheese dick. Cheese dick? I have only like six notes on this movie and cheese is one of them. That's gross. Is it a dick made of cheese or is it like, your dick is so gross that has cheese on it. You know what I mean? I don't think you can finish that. Follow that up with, you know what I mean. Are you aware of how I feel about this? Are you following my thoughts? Cheese dick? Oh God. It's just a dick with one of those cheese heads from the Green Bay Packers fans. That's cute. I like that a lot. Also, good sports reference. Oh thanks. Thanks. Cheese heads. Sure. Sure. Sure. Sure. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. Are. Are. Are. Are. Are. Are. Are. Are. Are. Are. Are. Are. Are. Are. Are. Are. Are. Are. Are. Are. th. Are. Are. Are. Are. Are. Are. Are th. Are th. Are th. Are th. Are th. Are th. Are th. Are th. Are. Are. Are. Are. Are. Are. Are. Are. Are. Are. Are. Are. Are. Are. Are. Are. Are. Are. Are. Are. Are. Are. Are. Are. Are. Are. Are. Are. Are. Are. Are. Are. Are. Are. Are. Are. th. th. Are. th. th. Are. Are. th. th. Are. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. the the the the th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. Also, good sports reference.
Starting point is 00:21:45 Oh, thanks. Sure. Sure, sure. Because Bruce Willis keeps going back to his house and hanging out in the basement, working on stuff, which was his office formally, I guess. Question, yes. What is that door he keeps trying to open and he can't open it and later there's furniture in front of it? What was that about? It's the basement basement, it's, not see but he gets back into his office?
Starting point is 00:22:07 But we don't see him go in there. Oh, he's walking through the wall. Yeah. I wish I could walk through a wall. Do you? No. Do doors are fine. I mean, technical you are walking through a wall. Yeah, I guess I have. Yeah, I'm doing it from through technology. I like the scene where Bruce Wills is showing the penny to go th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. the th. th. the th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the. the. the. the. the. the. Go the. Go the. Go the. Go the. Go the. Go the. Go the. Go the. Go the. Go the. Go go go go go go go go go go go go go go go go go go go go go go go go go go go go go go go go go go the the th. Go, the th. the th. th. th. th. the. the. to to it from through technology. I like the scene where Bruce Wills is showing the penny trick to Cole and he says, do you like magic? And I just have the note, no one likes magic. And then Cole says, I didn't know you were funny. And I like that because it's just like that biting kid thing. Yeah, it's very good.
Starting point is 00:22:42 And then Cole uses the trick later. And then those kids lock him in a closet, which even if, like, later when his mom finds the scratch marks, even if they hadn't scratched him, locking him in that closet was fucked up enough. Especially when we can hear the voices that hears in the closet. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:23:02 So what's up with wanting to die. Fucking terrifying. Yeah. Ah. So what's up with all the red? Tell me. So apparently there's like this thing that like all the clues that are given away, there's red involved in it. Oh, I didn't know that. Yeah. So like the doork now of the basement door Cole is wearing red very often. Yeah he does wear a lot of red sweaters I did notice that. That is a little dog pajamas though. Which was so cute. His tent is red.
Starting point is 00:23:33 His tent is red. A lot of the ghosts are wearing red. So there was like this like the red is the signifier of like supernatural stuff. The mother is wearing red at that for kids funeral her daughter's kid's funeral and I was like that's inappropriate. Yeah. Yeah. Now that is fucked up. Yeah. But yeah, that was like I guess like a big thing but and then like but like it's not constant. There are a lot of like supernatural things where red is not involved. I guess like they had to be subtle with it because there's like the red balloon that he follows to go up the steps to where......... the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the th. It. It's. It's. th. th. th. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I.. I. I....... I. I... I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. that. that. that. that. that. that. that. that. that. that. that. that. that. that. that. I that he follows to go up the steps to where he's listening at the door. Oh yeah. When the kids shove him into the door. I like that. Yeah. Yeah, that's fine. This movie's like an onion it just keeps revealing more of itself to you. And it's stinky. It's like a cheese dick. And it made me cry like a motherfucker. Yeah same. the onion cheese di-dicks I th. And it. And it th. And it th. And it th. And it's th. And it's th. And it's th. And it's th. And it's th. And it's thi. And it's thi. And it's the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the th. I I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I the is tou. tou. tou. tou. too too tou. too too tou. too tou. too tou. tou. Oh, onion cheese sticks.
Starting point is 00:24:25 I heard those are appetizers, Guy Fieri's new restaurant. Have I ever talked about the comedian who does the bit about Guy Fieri that's like, I don't know why people are mad at Guy Fieri. He just seems to be a dude who's living his dreams. It's true. It really is. That's true. Do you ever see that YouTube video of Guy Fieri eating in reverse? Where it looks like he's pulling all the food out of his mouth? I think it was maybe like Conan O'Brien or something. That sounds terrific.
Starting point is 00:24:57 Can we watch it after this scratched up in the closet. Oh, I was so uncomfortable when she had to make that phone call to the mom to be like, we need to talk about your son and him not touching my child. Like... But she should have said that anyway, even though, even if they didn't scratch him. Yeah. It made me really upset. Don't lock your kid in my closet. Yeah. So there's the great scene where Cole has to pee. Where he's got to run down the hallway. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:25:28 And he sees a woman in a bathrobe from behind. You think it's his mom. It's not his mom. No. It's some crazy battered lady. Yeah, who starts yelling to her husband that he's not going to beat her anymore. And she cuts her wrist.
Starting point is 00:25:44 That's really scary. As that ever happened to you? Not the dead person part, but where you're just like, I need to go to this hallway. Oh God, oh God, oh God. Since I watch this movie, yeah. Yeah, yeah. Because I get up once a night and walk down a hallway in the dark. Oh, and there's like a thor, the door, the door, th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, tho, thi, thi, thi, tho, tho, th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. And, th. And, th. And, th. And, th. And, th. And, th. And, th. And, th. And, th. And, th. And, th. And, th. And, th. And, th. And, tha, the. And, tha, tha, tha. And, tha. And, tha. And, tha. And, tha. And, tha. And, tha. And, tha, has been doing this thing for years where he thinks there's like an old man wearing a suit sitting
Starting point is 00:26:09 in our spare bedroom. I know and I'm like my god that's so fucking stupid and then I'm like p-poo-poo-running past it like half a sleep to get to the baby's room. Didn't he say that he walks by the door with his hand of a blinder? I've seen him do it. That's like the sweetest little baby boy thing to do. Since I watched this movie, I watched it on Sunday, today is Wednesday. Yeah. I've been a little freaked out in my upstairs hallway. In the dark, half asleep. And then I keep worrying, this is the thing that I started worrying about, since Rob talked, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, the, I'm, I'm, the, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, the they, they, they, they, they, they, they, they, they. they, they, they, they, they, they, they, they, they, they, they, they, they. they. they, they. they. they. they. they. they. they. they, they. they. they. the the the the the the the the the the the the th. thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thiiiiii. th th th th th thiiiiaa, th thia, thi. thi, thi, this is a thing that I started worrying about, since Rob talked about the old man, is that I'm gonna go into the baby's room and there's gonna be someone sitting in the rocking chair.
Starting point is 00:26:48 Nope. I know. No, you have to move. I know, but there's not, it's not, it's not real. Oh, that's right. And I'm gonna hundred percent sure the ghosts are not real and will spook myself out thinking about them all the time. And it's the thing too you're like don't think about it and then you're like,
Starting point is 00:27:17 I'm thinking about it and then you get scared and then you get scared. I'm like thining th th th th thinking th thinking thing thing thing thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi th. I th. I th. I th. I th th. I th th th thi the thi the the the the the the thi thi thi thi thi. And thi. No thi. No thi. No thi. No theeeeea. No theea. No thea. No thea. No theeean. No thi thi thi thi thi thi the bathroom at night too, and then I'm like, don't turn the light on, because then, you know, you're like, it messes up your eyes and you can't go back to sleep, and then I'm like, I'm scared and I turn the light on. That's why we have night lights throughout the house. Do you really, I should put a night light in the stuff is piled up in front of. Yeah. When it gets windy that door will open of its own volition Nope. So that's why there's a bunch of shit piled up in front of it so I don't come up here and that door's open. Oh my god. Is really what's behind it? Storage? Yeah, a little closet, yeah. And then it's got one of those tiny doors. Oh, we've got a tiny door. Yeah, terrifying. Yeah. Terrifying. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. the the the the the the th. the the th. the th. th. th. th. the th. th. the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. thi thi thi to to tooo tooo tooo too too the the thi thi thi thi thi ththey're all, they're wearing us all the time. They don't know they're dead. Oh, God. That should have been a giveaway right there. I mean, there's so many giveaways. When he goes out to meet his wife for dinner. She's wearing a red dress. She's wearing a red dress. And he's like, oh, I thought you meant the other Italian restaurant that I asked to propose to you in as a, the the the to the the the the the to the the the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, tho, the, the, tho, tho, the, tho, and, tho, and I, tho, tho, thi, and, and, and th you meant the other Italian restaurant that I asked to propose to you in as a joke and she doesn't acknowledge him.
Starting point is 00:28:26 And he says he's been having trouble keeping track of time. And it goes in this long story. Yeah, and she ignores him the whole time. And then says, happy anniversary and leaves. Yeah. That poor lady. Yeah. Yeah, then she went and taught at Rushmore, so, you know, a kid was real weird to her. Yeah, super weird. Bill Murray. Um, but there's all these scenes of her like setting out dinner for one. And like, but he, the way it's. Watching the wedding video. What a drug friend. Oh, God. But there's just, it's, it's set up to make you think like, oh, their their their their their their, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, their, their, their, their, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, oh, their marriage is crumbling because he lost this patient and hasn't been able to hold it together since then. Right. It's not the case. That's not the case. So then we meet Misha Barton, who's puking under his bed.
Starting point is 00:29:12 Yeah. I'm feeling much better now. Oh, that stuck with me. You know how I feel about watching someone. Yeah. the tent, yeah, yeah, yeah, oh yeah. But it seemed like the tent was like they couldn't come in there because of their like religious iconogger. But she somehow goes in the tent. So I don't know. He keeps stealing like little Jesuses from churches and stuff and they're just all inside this tent. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:29:35 So this is the one that opened it up? I think so because then it like falls it like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, th... th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. off and she's sitting there and then she throws up. Right? Yeah. So creepy. But this is after Bruce Willis has convinced him that maybe the dead people need his help and he should just listen to them. So he listens to her. And finds out that her mom has like munch house in her soup. Yes. He gives a videotape that she that she that she that she that she that she that she that she that she that she that she that she that she that she that she that she that she that she that she's the that the that that the that th. th. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thus. thus. thi. thi. thi. thus. thus. thus. to to to to to to to to to to th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. th. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. th. th. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. thea. thea. the. he gives a videotape that she gives to him.
Starting point is 00:30:06 Yeah. To the dad and the dad watches it at her funeral. Yeah, maybe no. But we find out that she's been started to poison the younger sister, so it's like time is of the essence, I guess. That's fucking nuts. That's a scene too where you should have realized something's up with Bruceville's because he's just standing in the middle of the room and no one's like looking at him or acknowledging him, yeah. Yeah. That mom was wearing a red dress. That's, you don't wear that to your kid's funeral. You're
Starting point is 00:30:33 right. You're right. And the dad just says to her, you were keeping her sick. And it's so sad. that's so sad. Especially like just because that's just a thing that happens all the time. Is it? Yeah, people get arrested for that shit all the time. Really? Yeah. There was a recent case of it where like some kid had like 13 surgeries and he's perfectly fine. Why are they doing surgeries? Why is a doctor doing them?
Starting point is 00:31:03 I don't know? That's their job. I don't do taxxes tax tax tax tax tax tax tax tax tax tax tax tax tax tax tax th tha tha tha tha tha tha that that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's them? Like, I don't know. That's their job. I don't know. I don't do taxes that people don't need done. You gotta do my kids' taxes. So then Cole is now going to be in a play. He's been asked to be in a play by his teacher. That teacher really comes around on him, which I appreciated, Suttering Stanley. Yeah, I feel like he could have gone one or two ways and he definitely went the good way. Yeah. And Cole has like, earlier in the movie,
Starting point is 00:31:33 there's this really sad scene where Cole's like, mom, how was your day? And she goes, well, I won the lottery and then I quit my job and I went and did all this stuff and then blah blah blah and then how was your day and he's like oh everybody was my friend yeah I got picked first for dodge ball or kickball or whatever and they all carried me around on their shoulders yeah and then I just like lightly ran a razor blade over my wrist because I can't take it anymore can't take the Sads so so he's in this play he's's playing King Arthur, everything goes super duper well, and everybody puts him up on their shoulders and carries him around.
Starting point is 00:32:09 They're all hugging him. Yeah. And he says to Bruce Willis, I'm not going to see you anymore, am I? I have such issue with this. Like how does Cole, a child who clearly has issues, graduate from therapy in the course of a fall, and I've been in therapy for like nine, god-dame years? You got to get ghost therapist. I guess. I'm going to speak with my doctor about why he is still alive and why I am never
Starting point is 00:32:40 going to graduate. Also, your problems are not I've seen 10 people 10 people. That's true. My parents didn't love me. I'm so shy. Here we have it. I think they did. Cole says the other heartbreaking line of his, before he gets to the final heartbreaker, where he's's just like can we just pretend that we're gonna see each other tomorrow? Yeah. He's like okay Cole I'll see you tomorrow and they smile and that's it. Is it because Cole's not going to see dead people anymore? It's because they've grown to love each other. But I guess he does still see dead people so it doesn't to thu-so so th. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. thi. thi. thi. thi. to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the to the to to to to to to to to to to to to to Yeah. He like, he's like trapped in that forever. Mm-hmm. That sucks, because he sees the woman on the bike.
Starting point is 00:33:29 Right, so they're stuck in, him and his mom are stuck in traffic and Cole just goes, mom, someone died up there. Yeah. She was hit. And I've got goosebumps thumbums right now. And the mom's like, how do you know? Do you have to do? I just showed out on my forearm. All goose bumpy. He says, because she's standing outside your window. And then the fucking ghost walks around the car.
Starting point is 00:33:56 And I was just like, I hate this. I'm so bugged. That everyday, like mundane haunting is just so fucked up. And the fact that they're attracted to him. Yeah. Like they seek him out. Yeah. Oh, there's also an earlier part of the movie where like, the school teacher's talking about like living in Philadelphia and it's being such an old city and like that so many
Starting point is 00:34:21 people have lived here throughout the years. You're just like, you mean so many people have lived here throughout the years, you're just like, you mean so many people have died here. Yeah, so much ghost. And those people hanging are so scary. I don't care what anybody says. They're fucking terrifying. And so he tells his mother that he wasn't the one stealing the bumblebee that he sees dead people because he wants to tell her and he doesn't want her to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to want her to think that he's a freak. And she's like, Cole, I can't take this right now.
Starting point is 00:34:45 And then he tells you the thing about the grandmother. Yeah. And how the grandmother said the thing that she said when the mother went to her grave and talked to her. Every day? Yeah. It's so fucking heartbreaking. want to get me to cry just say, oh yeah, ex-parent told me they were proud of me and I'm just like, well, I'm done.
Starting point is 00:35:07 Yeah. Oh boy. But it's handled so well by both of them. It really, it's a really like genuinely moving scene. Yeah. And she doesn't think he's a freak. No. She loves him and it's beautiful. And then we see Bruce Willis, how does And we... How does he realize he's dead?
Starting point is 00:35:25 So... Oh, by the way, he's dead. I've heard about that. Cole says, I figured out how you can talk to your wife. Wait till she's asleep. Oh, yeah, yeah. So he comes in and his wife's asleep and she's watching the wedding video again.
Starting point is 00:35:36 Yeah. And he's like, honey, honey, honey, you and she says why did you leave and then drop something. Oh it's his wedding ring. Right, the band comes rolling towards him and at first he's like oh shit it's her wedding ring and then he looks at his own hand and he doesn't have a wedding ring. Yeah. And she does have hers on. Oh and then he just sort of does like a weird flashback where he realizes all the things we should have realized all along. Then he just just just just just just just just just just just just just just just just just just just just just just just just just just just just just, he. the things. he, he's, he's, he's, he's, he's, he just, he just, he just, he just, he just, he just, he just, he just, he just, he just, he just, he just, he just, he just, he just, he's, he's just, he's just, he's th. Yeah, he's th. Yeah, he's, he's, he's, he's, he's, he's, he's, he's, he's, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, th. He thought he was there, but he wasn't there. Crazy. Which is so sad. But then it almost like resolves itself where he's like,
Starting point is 00:36:08 you're gonna feel better tomorrow. Tomorrow everything's gonna be different or something like that. Yeah. And I hope she gets with that. Chees dick? Ches dixte. Yeah. He seemed nice. He's an anti-guy tea stick. Also, I just want to say two things. I love that scene where she's selling the couple on the ring. Yeah. I love that. And also I love M-Ni, Sean Alon is the doctor. Nope. Please stop putting yourself in your movies.
Starting point is 00:36:32 M-Ni. He's like, I'm Alfred Hitchk. Do you tok'ks? don't notice them. Yeah. Like, and you're like, oh, shit. Oh, that's him walking the dog or whatever. And Mnights like, on top of the camera. Just like, can you see me? I'm right here. He's doing that thing like, he's crawling up like the guys from the descent. Like, ah. In the, in the, in the, uh, the village. He's the one that reveals the twist. tw. He's the the the the the's the the the the's the the the the the th. He's the th. He's the the the the the the the the the th. He's the the the the the the the th. He's th. th. the the the, th. th. th. th. th. th. the the the the the the the the the the the the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. it. Did I already say that? I don't know what it is. Do you want to tell you what the twist? I'm probably never going to see it. I don't know. All right. Tell me off, off camera. Okay.
Starting point is 00:37:09 Katie. Yeah. Do you want to move on to the reading space? Yeah. You want to go first. I can see why this guy is still getting movies. Because we were like, but you did that. God damn it. You've got it in you. This movie's a fucking 10.
Starting point is 00:37:29 Whoa! Because I knew the twist and I still cried and I was moved and I laughed when Bruce Willis laughed. And it was like, it was a perfect casting. It was just like, it was so good. It was fantastic. I am so happy thi I th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th thi I thi I thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi, I'm thi, I'm th. th. th, I'm th, I'm th, I'm th, I'm just, I'm just, I'm just, I'm just, I th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. thi, I thi, I'm thi, I'm thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii. thiiiii. thii. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. I am so happy right now. Yeah. Yeah. I also think this movie is fantastic. I think that there's imagery in it that does not leave you.
Starting point is 00:37:50 You know, I hadn't seen this movie in 10, 12 years and I remember like very distinctly those like images. Right. Again, the acting is amazing. And you know I haven't chasing that scare dragon. Now I don't want it to calmly thaaaaaaawawa tha tha tha thoan thoom thoom thoom thoom to thoom to to to thoom to thoom to to to thoom thoom thoomoes thoes thoesomea thi thi. thate the the the thate. thate. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. the is the is the is the is the is the is the is the is the is the is the is the is the is ta. ta. ta. I is ta. I is ta. I'ma. I'ma. I'ma. I'ma. It's ta. I'ma. I'm ta. It is ta. it anymore. I just want to calmly walk down the hall and pick up my baby. Instead I'm like, eh, there's dead people here my house was built in the 1800s, like there's definitely deados in there. Yeah. Like the late 1800s is still, definitely dead theos. And they're definitely there. What am I supposed to do? What are they're sitting in her chair? What am I going to do? I should stop just coming over and putting a single red
Starting point is 00:38:26 balloon in your house. Just like pushing the rocking chair from behind it. What if they're sitting in her little tiny rocking chair? Her like baby-sized one? That would be the weird. All crunched up. Give me a number on this guy. I'm gonna give it a nine because I was scared at night and I didn't like it. It got knocked down for being good at what it was doing. Yeah. Because I gotta go back to bed, you know what I mean? I gotta go to work in the morning. It's hard. That's awesome though that it like I'd love that like that movies can still do that. I know. I know what, because now I'm like, don't think about it, and then I'm like, fuck,
Starting point is 00:39:07 thinking about that god-dame movie. That kid being like, come on, I'll show you where my dad's gun is. Ah, ah, ah, ah. They're not real, that was a movie. Yeah, but there's definitely deados in my house. like please stop calling me. Yeah it's I mean think about how many movies though that are like the kind of twist or reveal or whatever they're like you watch them once you're like well I don't never need to see that movie again because I know what that is now sure and the fact that this can hold up to multiple viewings. It really yeah I can't believe that this was an early movie and that he's done so badly that that th th is th is th th is th th th th that th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th that that that the the is the is the is the is the. the is the is the. tho. tho. tho. tho. the. the. the is the is the is the is the is the is the is the is the is th. you see signes? Yes.
Starting point is 00:39:45 That's the one about the aliens? Mel Gibson? Yeah, the aliens that invade Earth? What is the alien's weakness? Water. Yeah, what's the earth mostly made of? Yeah, they should have thought again. They should have.
Starting point is 00:39:55 They should have. They think they would know better. I mean, we are 75% water. Good girl. Yeah. What? Maybe he just needs to take more time. I don't know. Maybe him and Kevin Smith need to get together and they both just need somebody to bounce ideas off of to like own their skills. Maybe just retire and be like we made good movies or at least one each. I often think about that like, bands like we'll put out like you know like their like classic record and you're like all right you're never gonna do that again you should probably
Starting point is 00:40:27 just break up right now. You've got to chase that dragon you know exactly and like who was success dragon who is it for me to say that you might put on another great album right and we keep putting out great episode after great episode well this is an art form yeah this thi to a thrown. You want to go to the mail bag? Yeah. I'm going to read you some iTunes reviews. All right. Or would you like to read them? I'll read them. I've never read them before, so this will be exciting. Rad Horror Podcast.
Starting point is 00:40:51 What? That's us. By Sean Roe'er. Oh, should I's a good name. Build it as a horror comedy podcast. I was a little skeptical going in. Were you, Sean? Understandably. In my experience, non-professional comedy shows are usually the opposite of funny, legit point.
Starting point is 00:41:15 So I was stoked when I found myself laughing along with the hosts. Witty and clever these two have a lot of fun talking horror, definitely subscribing. Thank you, Sean. Hell yeah. Also, I consider myself a professional, but whatever. Definitely one of the best podcasts. Wait, is this another review? Is this another review? Okay. By pickle chips. That's a good ass name. It's a good ass name. Alan and Katie's take on horror movies. Thoen and Katie's take on horror movies. The show feels super genuine. There's not any super deep introspective analysis going on. Just two people bullshitting about bullshity horror movies, which makes her a great podcast. Thank you. That is a hundred percent accurate to what we do.
Starting point is 00:41:49 That is a hundred bullshitting about bullshitting movies. And also please subscribe to my other podcast, ASM horror. If you like bullshit. If you like bullshit, the thrown. ESM horror. Ugh. Ugh. You gave yourself the ass-more? Yeah, I was thinking about, I saw one where a woman was just brushing her hair, and
Starting point is 00:42:10 then I started thinking about it and I was like, ah, ah. This is a world that I just do not know about. It's just for jerking off. I mean, everybody's jerking off to something. They must be because everyone is constantly saying I'm not jerking off to this. Oh yeah if you deny jerking off to it you're definitely jerking off to it. That's a thing that can't hold up. We should do another movie Katie. Should we? Yeah let's do another episode next week we've just got those nice words from people. Yeah let's keep let them happy. Yeah let's let's not like it. Pickle chips down. No pickle chips thin. Starting point is 00:43:10 It's a spooky times movie. Oh boy. There's like a cult and some monsters and stuff. I like cults. A lot of practical effects. I started watching a television program called a cult murders or something like that. And I was like, I gotta quit this. Yeah, because you're going down like the, uh, I'm gonna, I'm just in a rabbit hole of just like, um, my favorite murder. Of just like dark shit. I gotta, it's, I need like, I need to be summer again. I need to watch some baseball. Leave us a review on iTunes. Yeah, maybe we'll read it. Like Pickled Chips and Sean Robair did. I really love pickle chips. Robair.
Starting point is 00:43:46 Get in touc. Get in toubts on Facebook? Instagram. People leaving us messages in all those places. I find them. I get back in touch with you. Allen's doing it. I'm not doing it.
Starting point is 00:43:55 I'm not about it. Yeah, thanks for doing that for those who do. We need like a referral program where like if you tell two friends you get something like a special episode or something. Yeah, well, we were there anymore. There's somewhere up here. Do that stuff. Watch the Void. Come back. Come back next week. And thanks for listening to another episode of World Five Minutes.
