Werewolf Ambulance: A Horror Movie Comedy Podcast - Episode 165- Puppet Master 2 (1990)

Episode Date: February 26, 2018

In the second episode of our two-parter, we're discussing the 1990 sequel to last week's episode, "Puppet Master 2." Boy, is it a doozy. Special topics for your consideration include: unexpected Dust ...Bowl farmers, yucky intimacy, oily wrestlers, ways in which one could search for a lost relative, gross intimacy and making the same movie twice but making it much worse the second time. We've done a number of sequels on this show, but instead let us point you to a better "Puppet Master"...last week's episode. Have you seen this one? Starting point is 00:00:00 I'm puppet master two, I am. Puppet Master 2, I am, puppet master 2, I am. Second film, same as the first, a little bit worse and a lot a bit worse. Nothing like the first. It's the same movie, are you fucking kidding me? Is it? Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:00:33 I feel like the first was a masterpiece compared to this. Let me, let me, several people who do a thing involving the paranormal are staying in a hotel. Oop puppets turn on the bad guy at the end. Why? I don't know. There's a new puppet master, credits roll. Oh, just did all puppet master too. Can I go home now?
Starting point is 00:00:52 You miss subtle, so many of the subtle nuances of Buffet Master too. Please tell me about them. I watched some of this at work and some of it at home And part of the one that I watched at home I slept through and I know I did and I was like I should rewind and I was like Yeah, Alan I'm Katie. This is where we'll have family movie podcast. Yeah, there are no others. that's that that the today. I'm Katie. This is where? I'm? I'm Katie. This is where? I'm? I'm? I'm? I'm? I'm? I'm? I'm? I'm? I'm? I'm? I'm? I'm? I'm a a where? I'm? I'm? I'm a where? I'm? I'm a where? I'm? I'm? I'm? I'm? I'm? I'm? I'm? I'm? I'm? I'm? I'm? I'm? I'm? I'm? I'm? I'm? I'm. I'm. I'm. I'm. I'm. I'm. I'm. I'm. I'm. I'm. I'm. I'm. I'm. I'm. I was. I was. I was. I was. I was. I was. I was. I was. I'm. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. th. I'm. I'm. I'm. th. I'm. I'm. the. the only horror movie podcast. There are no others. Isn't that sad? We put them all out of business. Shut them down. Shut them down. Shuttered their doors.
Starting point is 00:01:30 Their virtual podcast doors. Which is weird because everyone has a podcast. It's true, they're born that way. Like Lady Gaga. You know what this movie has that Fubbit Master Wan did not have. A guy who looks like Christian Slater if he were a soap opera actor. Are you talking about Corbyn Burnson's brother, Colin Burnson? What? Am I?
Starting point is 00:01:51 Yes. That's why I told you to put Curbin Burton in your mind. I had Curbin Burmerson. This movie has Buck Flour. But those are just words. He's been in other movies that we've done. Like The Fog. And Wait, who was he?
Starting point is 00:02:12 He's the dustball farmer that lives next to the hotel with the wife with the Chalka. The amazing Harbinger lady? Okay. Let's go back to Colin Burnson, orbin Burnson, as we're knowing him from here. Is this really his brother? It's really his brother. And which one is he? He's the, the hunky guy that rides up on the motorcycle. The toothy guy? What I assumed you meant was Christian Slayden. No, I was talking about that bozo with the, is the worst actor I've ever seen in any movie we've done, which really says something. The guy with the shorty shirts and the flannel? Yes, flannel shirt, tank top shorts.
Starting point is 00:02:51 Like hot pants? Yes, he is Christian Slater soap opera. He's so shitty. Except Christian Slater's a good actor. Okay, yeah, that's sure. That's true. A brother's just so smart. Oh my god. So, that's a that's. that's. that's. that's. that's. that's. th. th. th. th. th. th. the the the th. the the the th. the the the th. the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the th. the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. tank. tank. tank. tank. tank. tank. tank. tank. tank. tank. tank. tank. tank. tank. tank. tank. tank. tank. tank. tank, brother's justice. Oh my god, so wait, that toothy guy is Corbyn Burns, his brother, he has so many teeth. Some of them are Corbens. Yeah, so to hold him for him. It's like a kidney transplant. Corbine gave him some teeth. All right, so this movie. All right, let's go where the first one left off. Megan is the new puppet master. Yes. No, no it has fucking nothing to do with that. That's exactly where it picks up. She's dead.
Starting point is 00:03:31 Yeah, remember they pulled her brains out through her nose? That's right. That's right. Off screen? Off screen. In the interim, in the interim, I guess. We start off in the cemetery the cemetery, th. Thea the cemetery, in the cemetery, the cemetery, the cemetery, the cemetery, the cemetery, the cemetery, the cemetery, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, th. th. th. th. thi, thi, th. the, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, th. th. It is is th. It is th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th is is is is th, th is th is th. th is th is th. the, th. th. th. the, the, the the, the thi, thi, the thi, thi, is thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. the. the. th guess. We start off in the cemetery that's right next to the hotel that we didn't see originally when we saw this movie. No, and the psychics had no knowledge that it was there or they would have gone there, so. Puh, luckily that's where Toulon is buried, the Frenchman from the first movie. I like that they just rolled him out the back, you know? Like like like like like like like like like like like like like like like like like like the man. Like like. Like like. Like like. Like the man. the man. the man. the man. the man. the man. the man. the man. the man. the man. the man. the man. the man. the man. the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the th. th. th. the. the. theck. theck. theck. thea. thea. thea. thea. thea. thea. thea. thea., fine. So we see familiar hands digging up the grave.
Starting point is 00:04:07 It's Pinhead, he's back. He's back. Is this your preferred pinhead over Pinhead from the sex demon movie? Are you talking about Hellraising? Oh, 100 no. Take big hands over Pinface anytime? Yeah, you know what? This Pinhead isn't taking himself too seriously.
Starting point is 00:04:25 It's true. He's just, he's just here to hang out and wear a sweater and have a weird 5 o'clock shadow that I'm not sure he had in the verse movie. He looks way more like Popeye in this movie. Yeah, I liked that. I thought it was a nice then all the other puppets are hanging out. And they're like celebrating. They're a little puppet party.
Starting point is 00:04:48 And they dump some magic potion into the grave with him. And it brings him back to life. That's dumb. I didn't like that. Unfortunately, that's the rest of this movie. Yeah. Well, then he realized that it was the magic potion that brought Neil in the last movie back to life. Was there a magic potion? Because that's what he was filled with. Oh, eh. But it didn't seem to be in short supply in the last movie.
Starting point is 00:05:12 And in this one, there's an urgent need for more of it. Yeah, and it's what's keeping the puppets going somehow, I guess. You got to put brain matter into melted mint chocolate chip ice cream. Ooh, that sounds amazing. Minus the brain matter. I was gonna say, that's like some artisanal shit right there. Brain matter. Brain matter. Melted ice cream.
Starting point is 00:05:32 Yeah. It's from the championship of Chopped. Hey, I've made you a brain matter, mint choclip ice cream. You get a bag of Doritos, a whiffle ball bed. 15 minutes in a Ford Taurus. But are they cool ranch or nacho cheese? Yes. Which one you like better? The mystery flavor.
Starting point is 00:05:54 I can't tell you. I'm not even going to wait for your answer. The answer is cool ranching. Of course. It's so cool and ranching. I love it. I'm going to stop at the gas and get some cool ranch on the way home. You're from Picksburg, you have to love ranch.
Starting point is 00:06:10 Oh my god, where was I recently that I got a sandwich that came with chips and they, you know, like housemaid chips? And they were like, you want ranch for those? And I was like, yep. I didn't until you said to say to say to say to say to say to say to say to say to say to say to say to say to say to say to say to say to to to to to to to to to to to to to to th. to to to th. to to they. told? to? to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to their. their. their. the the the the the the their. the the the the the the the the the the the the thr. thr. thr. thr. thi. thi. the the the thi. theaxxx. the theax. thiax. toxx. toxx this before, but moving to Vitzburg and ordering a pizza and coming with a ranch dressing and just being like, why the fuck is their ranch dressing on my pizza? And I was like, all these monsters dip their crust in it. Yeah, monsters eaten ranch on their pizza crust.
Starting point is 00:06:37 It's pretty deaes. Try it. to the same argument for crack though. Try, you probably like it. It's a long, it's a lot slower of a downhill with ranch, in my opinion. You'll keep your teeth way longer. So then we see Buckflower. The, who is that again?
Starting point is 00:06:57 He's from, he was one of the guys on the boat and the fog. He's like a John Carpenter. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. the. the. the. the. the. the. th. th. th. th. th. th. the. It's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's a. It's a. It's a. It's a lot. It's a lot. th. th. th. It's a lot. th. th. th. It's a lot. It's a lot. It's a lot. It's a lot. It's a lot. It's a lot. It's a lot.penter Stable. Yep, yep, yep, yep, I know exactly who you mean. I just get really excited when he shows up in everything, and anything, because I'm like, his name is Buckflower. How can I not get excited about it? That's like a, that's a NASCAR name if I ever heard what. It absolutely is. Lake Speed, Dick Trickle, Buck-Flower. That's your, the top three. He's putting together an electric fence because some critters have been coming in and cannibalizing his animals. Oh, I just realized that's the puppets.
Starting point is 00:07:30 Yeah, it's the puppets. Never before that they need to eat meat. No, never before do they need to pray. They just killed. They didn't like eat or take anything. Whatever it doesn't matter. But him and his wife explain this to Camil, who is looking for to the house, to the house, to the house, their their their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, whatever, it doesn't matter. But him and his wife explain this to Camille, who was looking for the house. I love his wife.
Starting point is 00:07:48 I love that Harpenter lady. I love her just like, yeah, I was still most in the in trials. What? She's fuck you. I have a feeling she did a take, and the director was like, do you think you could just scream all your lines? She was like, I guess, I guess, I guess, yeah, I mean I'm getting like standard right for the, alright, yeah, we'll do it again. She was fantastic. I can't figure out why they look like they were in the dust bowl.
Starting point is 00:08:14 They were just like- Yeah, they were pastimes. Well, this movie has a lot of problem with time. Not just the fact that they say that tolon, Tolon, the the the the tholon, thu thu thu thu thu thu thu thu thu thu thu thu, thu, thu, thu, thu, thu, thu, thu, thu, thu, thu, thu, thu, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, th, th, th, th, th, th. thu, thu, thu, thu, thu, thu, thu, thu, thu, thu, thu, thu, thu, thu, thu, thu, thu, thu, thu, thu, that they say that Toulon, whatever his goddamn name is. Toulon. Toulon? Andre Toulon. Lawn. Hush, hush. Okay. I'm dancing.
Starting point is 00:08:33 You are. You can't say it that he is. That he escaped from Nazis during the war. We saw him die in 1939. Also, this movie... I mean, technically there was a war going on and their war Nazis. Yes, but... He just escaped from them in America. Yes. They just omitted a few facts. It's just a little misleading. The whole fucking, like when he has the flashback to Egypt? Holy shit. I dozed during that, I gotta tell you. It's just a little misleading. the the to describe the war to to to to to to to to to to to to to me me me me. It. It. It. It. It to to to to to to to to to to to to to to the war the war to the war the war the war the war the war the war to me. It to be the war the war the war the war the war the war the war the war the war the war the war the war the war the war the war the war the war the war the war the war the war the war the war the war the war the war the war the war the war to be. It. It. It. It. It. It. he has the flashback to Egypt? Holy shit.
Starting point is 00:09:05 I dozed during that, I gotta tell you. Oh my God. So you have to describe it to me. Because I like kind of woke up and I was like, are they doing a puppet show of Faust? And then I was like, man, I don't care. Yeah. Also this movie presupposes that you do not know the difference between the difference the difference the difference the difference between the difference the difference the difference the difference the difference the difference the difference the difference their thetimes. There is a scene where they've clearly woken up and they're doing something and they're like we'll deal with that in the morning. It is
Starting point is 00:09:33 fucking morning. I can tell. At one point she's like it's two o'clock in the morning I have to go do a thing and looks out the window and it's goddam no'clock in the morning. It's like, it's like they thought we wouldn't notice. At the end, even in the final scenes, it's nighttime in the house and she looks out the window, it's fucking broad daylight and he's standing out by the water. What in the fuck? I don't want to come off as rude. Oh, that's what we've been doing for 170 episodes or whatever we're on. But I'm assuming that
Starting point is 00:10:07 Is this 165? I think this is 165? Jesus. The number of Jesus. I'm pretty sure that they went, they're coming to fucking Buffetmaster too. They don't give a dick shit about day or night. And it's true that they weren't even coming to it because it's direct to video. It's coming to them. Ah, we've talked about how video stores were the best thing ever, right?
Starting point is 00:10:31 Oh, I don't think we have, but I think it's just a thing we know in our DNA. I miss pulling the tags off. I miss pulling the ta tags off tags off. It ta ta ta ta ta ta ta ta ta. It ta. It the. It. It. It. It. It. It. It. the. the. the. thea. to. to to to to to to to to. to. to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to. We. We. We. We. We. We. We. We. We. We. We. We. We. We've the. We've the. We've the. We've the. We've the. We've the. We've the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. We've the. We've toda. We've toda. We've tags off. Oh, did you have the video stores where they would like have tags for the movies and you have the title written on the tag and you take it up front? At my movie store, Movies Plus and Gibsonian, movies plus, you would take the empty case. Okay, yeah. Yeah. Gotcha. Mine had like, take him up front. I like that a lot. Can I as a 10-year-old boy rent motel hell from you now?
Starting point is 00:11:06 100% you may. They're like, hmm, not porno. Enjoy, little boy. Can I tell you something else I like about the beginning of this movie? And when I say something else, I mean one thing that I like. All the opening scenes are done with screen wipes? Why? They've got the technology. They might as well use it. They do it for like the first four scenes and then they were like, fuck it, too much work. We wasted our wipe budget.
Starting point is 00:11:34 It's inexplicable. I like that like the person that I recognized from the beginning of this movie is so much lower of a star than the person I recognized from the other movie. Yeah. I went from Barbara Crampton to Buckflower. Buckflower. Both of them I love, but not a lot of people have a lot of love for Buckflower. It's true. I would imagine. I follow that Barbara Crampton on Instagram. She is delightful. She's just all open mouth smiling about everything. I'm a big thi that that of it. That's nice. Yeah. I wonder what it's like to like things. I don't know because I just watched Publmaster too. So this movie is about people staying in the Bodega Bay Hotel. We forgot to mention that's Bodega Bay is the name of hotel. I don't, is that a place? No, God no. I mean it sounds offensive. This time they're they they they they they they they're they're they're they're they're they're they're they're they're they're they're they're they're they're not they're not they're not they're not they're not they're not they're not they're not th th th thi thi thi what thi wo thi what thi what thi what th like th like th like th like th like th like th like th like th like th like th like th like th like th like th like th like th. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I're th. I're th. I're th. I're th. I're th. I'm thi. I'm thi. I'm thi. I'm thi. I'm thi. I'm thi. I'm thi. I thi. I thi. I thi. I thi. I thi. I'm th. name of the hotel. I don't, is that a place? No, God no. I mean, it sounds offensive.
Starting point is 00:12:28 This time they're not psychics. Oh no, no, one of them is. They're this time, they're government paranormal researchers. They're doing paranormal research before it was cool. Or before it was lucrative, I guess. Yeah, yeah, yeah, when it was still like independent contractors like the ghostbusters out there doing it. Why is the government doing this?
Starting point is 00:12:50 Because shit's gotten real. And they also talk a lot about the university. I don't know what that means. Yeah. I don't know who that. Yeah, gov, gov. I'm sure that in the two two two two two the the the the the too the government the government the government the government the government the governmenttwo versions of the script that were laying around the people were drawing from, one they were hired by university, one they were government workers. And it doesn't matter, ultimately.
Starting point is 00:13:10 So we've got the inexplicable brother and sister duo. I hate brother and sister relationships and movies. I have to be honest with you. Name a good brother sister in a movie. The legend of Billy Jeanne with Christian Slater and his real life sister, that Slater whose name I can think of. Don't know it. Uh, I don't know it. I don't know. It's never good. No. No. I don't like it. Hey, listeners, tell us about brother and sisters and movies that you enjoy. I was think of the Adams family, Wednesday and Pugsley, they're a good time.
Starting point is 00:13:47 That's true, I'll accept that. But that's a movie about a family too. It's true. So I think that kind of is, it's in the title. But you don't find out that Patrick and Carolyn are brother and sisters until like that's like that, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, like, I, like, like, I, like, like, like, I, I, I, I, I, I, like, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I'll, I'll, I, I'll, I'll, I'll, I'll, I'll, I'll, I'll, I'll, I'll, I'll, I'll, I'll, I'll, I'll, I'll, I'll, I'll, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, th, th, th, th, th. th. th. th. th. th. that, that, that, that's, that's, that's, that's, that's, that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's. Yeah, I bet they were fucking That's a running theme Just like in a prom night. Oh, yeah, see there you go a shitty brother sister duo Ugh, hate it. So yeah, so that's Carolyn and Patrick Patrick and then there's Lance and Wanda, which nobody was even trying on them. I love Wanda so, so, so, so, that's? I love Wanda so much. I? I? that's, that's, that's, that's, that's, that's that's that's that's that's? that's? that's? that's? that's? that's? that's? that's? that's? that's? that's? that's? that's? that's? that's? that's? that's that's that's that's that's? that's? that's that's that's that's the the the the the the the the the the the the that's? that's? that's? that's? that's? that's? that's? that's? that's? that's? that's? that's? that's? that's? that's? the the the the the the the the the the the the the the their their their their their th. th. the theat-I. theat-I. their their their their their their their their their their the? the and Wanda which nobody was even trying on them I love Wanda so much I realize I kind of have Wanda's haircut just a little bit longer It's a good haircut Dece I like it. It's working for me. I liked her like brawlist lifestyle just like everything was slung off her shoulder and she's just like fuck it I'm hunting ghosts. I'm on a job site with Lance.
Starting point is 00:14:47 And her and Lance are just DTF from the jump. Lance's yuck city. She's like, hey, do you want to meet up later? And he's like, I don't know. And then he pulls rubbers out of his pocket. I just called him rubbers. What am I just like, oh, Lance. What the th. I, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, th, th, th, th, th, and I, and I, and I, and I, and I, and I, and I, and I, and I, and I, and I, and I, and I, and I, and I, and I, and I, and th, and th, and th, and th, and th, and th, and th, and th, and th, and th, and I, and I, and I, and I, and I, and I, and th, and th, and th, and th, and th, and th, and th, and th. And, th. And, th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. tha, tha, tha, and than, and than, than, and than, and than, and there. He's got profoes in his pocket. And I was just like, oh, Lance. No, Lance.
Starting point is 00:15:11 And then later when Lance takes his shirt off, he's like not good looking. That's all. He tricked you with the hot pants and flannel come up. He did. He did. And then he takes a shirt off and you're like, what? He definitely had like a like, playgirl calendar feel in that outfit of the hotel. And then it was just disappointing. And then there's Camille, the psychic, who could not into it her way to the hotel. She had to stop and ask at the farm.
Starting point is 00:15:38 She is fucking brilliant. Yeah, I really and like, just that like, she's just like drunk and fuck it the whole time. So, what's Camille's stance? What's she talking about? Holy shit, look at Camille in the 30, or 1956. Oh, Camille? She's a dream boat. Yeah. Not just she wasn't a dream boat in 1990. But she's Camille.
Starting point is 00:16:09 She's in a movie called Amityville, it's about time. No, it's not. That is not a movie. What year is that? 1992 is the last movie she did. Geez, that's her last work. She did. Yeah. Fuck, what a way to go.
Starting point is 00:16:23 Haminivel. It wasn't her last work, she did television after that. Thank God. But Hamityville, it's about time. What? What? Oh no. Oh, she's in Freightmare? Oh, she's in fright mare.
Starting point is 00:16:34 Oh, she's in fright mare. The British movie, Mike Bohem, episode 10. Weird. Anyhow. Anyhow. What is her deal? Why is she here? Why is she in this movie? Because she's the psychic? The rest of them aren't psychic. Yeah. So they needed a medium psychic lady. Not an extra large psychic lady. Just a nice size eight. What is she doing though? Well she's coming to tell them about Toulon. Okay. Your guess is as good as mine because she will be dead very shortly. She will be dead.
Starting point is 00:17:14 She will be dragged slowly. She will not put up a fight. She will die in a house that is full of cameras and they will not know where she is. Really, Lance? Really? I love this tidbit that they put. Lans has everything set up? Yeah, we have way more cameras than we have monitors, so I'm just going to have them like scroll and rotate through. You're going to miss stuff, Lance. That's the way cameras and monitors work. Also, Lance, did you not notice that when you were loading the van, that there were way more cameras than monitors?
Starting point is 00:17:47 Also, like, if you have camera, were you taping all of this? Go back and look at the camera by Camille's room when she goes missing and see where she is. I got these prophos in my pocket. It's crazy. Everything that happens in this movie is crazy. None of it is what you would really do. This movie gave me some fantastic subtitle comedy. Like dreadful music. Dreadful music. Fantastical swoosh. Ooh, I like that a lot. My favorite Cullio album. Come along for a fantastical swooch.
Starting point is 00:18:25 Swoosh, swoopity swoosh. It's not good at that. Put your booty in the air and poosh, poosh, pooh. Are you farting? I just have notes like Lance and Camille. Nothing else. There's no descriptor around it. Maybe they are Satanists. So we now see Toulon and he's the invisible man. no descriptor around it. Maybe they are Satanists.
Starting point is 00:18:49 So we now see Toulon and he's the invisible man. Wait, no, no, no, no. First Patrick gets killed. Because this happens in the same night that can we, yeah, yeah, yeah. Right? Yeah, the first night they're there. Patrick's drinking wine in bed, which I find to be very yucky for some reason. It's just a way to go Patrick because he just had like a full goblet of wine like laying down like how he's sipping that wine. I feel like that's bad for your teeth. Just gonna crack the glass right on. Yeah. So he gets killed by Digger. Yeah. Old digs. T'nill. T'Dig's. Shit. I forgot to tell you who your featured puppets were in this movie. Oh. the the th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. to to th. to th. to to be to be to be to be to be to be to be to be to be to be to be to be thi. to be to be to be to be to be toe. toe. toe. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. th. th. Yeah. th. t. t. t. t. t. t. t. t. t. t. today. today. t. t. t. t. t. t. today. t. today. today. today. the th. I forgot to tell you who your featured puppets were at this movie.
Starting point is 00:19:27 Oh please. We have Blade. Love Blade. Jester. Jester's okay. Pinnhead. Tunler. Litch Woman.
Starting point is 00:19:35 Yeah. Torch was not in the first one. No, no, no, he's made specifically for this one. Uh-huh. And then in the later flashback we have Mephisto and Jin the Humonculus. You missed Jin the Humonculus. I don't know what that means. Humonculus is really fun to say. Go give it a try. Mungingham. We'll get back to gin the humunculus soon. I'm going. You know what?
Starting point is 00:20:05 B-buh. You know what the problem with the puppets is? They're like, their worst quality is that they can just be thrown. You know what I mean? Like, the puppets' worst quality is that they weigh approximately three and a half pounds. Just kick them. Just kick them. A good-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-bauua-baua-baua-baua-baua-baua-baua-baua-baua-baua-ba-ba-ba-ba-ba-a-ba-a-a-ba-ba-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-sa-sa-sa-sa-sa-sa-sa-sa-sa-sauuuuoooooooooooooo'-sa-sa-sa-sa-sa-sa-sa-a-a-sa-sa The worst quality is that they weigh approximately three and a half pounds. There's a fop out of here. Just kick them. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:20:27 A good old-fashioned meal kick. I'll get rid of that puppet for a while. And it does. So they see on the video, Tunneler goes into Patrick's room, and theyllae, one's the lady's room, and one's the lady's room, and they run up to his his his his his his his his his his his his his his his his his his his his his his his his his his his his his his his his his his his his his his his his his room to his room to his run up to his room, to Patrick's room, and see that he's been drilled in the face for no fucking reason other than what we find out later. That they need brain matter from people. Human spinal fluid. Dr. Lector. Come to Daddy. Can you just get them all real quick? What else? Hi Mike. I'm playing a gypsy.
Starting point is 00:21:06 I can't do, I'm playing a gypsy. I'm playing a gypsy. So they run up there. Lance throws the puppet. Yeah, because you can just throw them. And then, Wanda just stands against the door and goes, oh, can't really falter for that, right? What's Wanda to do? It's not like she's a, oh no, no, she is, she's a paranormal researcher.
Starting point is 00:21:29 And then they immediately are like, well, we gotta figure out what the fuck this thing is. So they scan it with a scanning machine of scanning. Where were the police? person who is there who was momentarily inconsolable. It's like no one in the puppet master of franchise is adequately upset to see their loved ones die. No, not at all. They do call Camille's son because they can't find it. Teeths. Yeah. Curbin Burenson. Collin Burnton. I'm obsessed with this. Yeah, we were watching Missy was like, that guy looks like, Conno's like Cornyn Burton, I was like, he does.
Starting point is 00:22:11 Hold on a second, because his last name is Burnsin. Let me see. It's his brother. Yeah, they don't call like a coroner for Patrick. They just put him in a refrigerator and put a sheet over him with a flower on it. That is absolutely fucked. Because we're told when they get in there that day that they won't have a line out on the phone until the next day. It is the next day. Sure.
Starting point is 00:22:32 She has called Camille's son. Call the fucking cops, you idiot. You also have a van. Get in the fucking van. Get your brother's somewhere. Take everybody everybody the b your the b your the b the b the b the b the b the b, the b, the b, the b, the the the the the the the the th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. thi. the. the. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. thi. thi. thi. thi. the. the. the. thea. thea. thea. toooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooe. th fuck out of there. Everybody get the fuck out of there. And also, like, here's the thing that really bothers me. Yeah. A puppet has killed her brother. We've captured it on camera.
Starting point is 00:22:52 Camille is missing. But before she went missing, she saw walking puppets. I guess she left. What? What? What? What? They thoroughly checked the entire... No, they didn't take the... No, they don't even... Are these things related?
Starting point is 00:23:13 I think I just give myself a hernia. You felt something pop? Oh no. They immediately start like vivisecting the puppet. Yeah. To see what's going on. It's got to be subject to physical laws, says the paranormal researcher. Followed almost immediately by it's got an artificial life force. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:23:33 Oh, they got that from the scanning machine. Yeah, yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.... T. T. T. T. that. T. T. T. T. T. T. T. T. T. T. T. T. T. It looked like Pac-Man. What was 1990, Computer Tech? That's true.
Starting point is 00:23:46 But that's how you detect an artificial life force. Uh-huh, Pac-Man. Uh-huh. Yeah, if there's a cherry to eat it, and then we're... Bra-mah-mah. And then Eric Chennai shows up. What the fuck? Just like the invisible man if the invisible man was in Phantom of the Paradise. And it had really poor hygiene.
Starting point is 00:24:06 Well, he's got some oozing issues. Yeah, very oozy. But I loved his outfit with like the roughly shoulder pads and like the like the purled gloves, yeah. Like the metal bones on the, he looked really cool. He was very silly. But it was just like... He's enormous. He's hulking. Yeah, I mean, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I the, I the, I the, I th, I th, I th, I th, I the th, th, th, the the the th, the the th. th. the th had th had th, the th, th, th had th had th had th. He looked really cool. He was very silly. But it was just like... He's enormous. He's hulking. Yeah, I mean it's the dead body of William Hickey, aka Uncle Lewis. Who was like, I don't know, 5-2, 5-3. And was definitely French in the first movie.
Starting point is 00:24:34 Uh-huh. Now he's... He's... He's...'m pretty sure of is, we'll do a little roleplay here. Oh, please. I'm a film producer. Okay. What am I? the screenwriter. Okay. Hi, I'm a film producer?
Starting point is 00:24:55 I write script. Okay, great. I need a movie. It's going to be a sequel to this movie called Popuppet Master. I'm not going to watch that. Please don't. In the first movie there was a puppet master, there were some puppets, I'll give you the names of them, it took place in a hotel, there were four people that went in there, they all got murdered, mysterious circumstances, puppets were somewhat involved, maybe eternal life, there were Germans. So could you get to meet this by like, I don't know, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, I th. their their, I their, I their, I their, I their, I'm th. th. th. their, I'm their, I'll their, I'm their, I'm, I'll their, I their, I their, I their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, I their, I their, I their, I their, I their, I their, I their, I their, I their, I their, I their, I'm their, I'll their, their, their, their, their, too. too. took. took. took. took. took. took. took. took. took. their, their, puppets and four people go in and they're murdered under mysterious circumstances and there are Germans. Would you like, that'll do?
Starting point is 00:25:31 Sounds pretty good. Can there be a gross sex? Oh yeah, what's it? Oh yeah. Yeah. Oh, yeah. Let's gross sex the second one. Okay. Great. Great. And maybe if you can have depression era, like dust, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that's, that's, that's, that. that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. that's, that's, tha. tha. that's, tha. that's, tha. tha. tha. tha. tha. tha. tha. dust bowl farmers in there. That's new. That's new.
Starting point is 00:25:46 That's your own personal touch. That's my signature is dust bowl farmers. So then we go into the dust bowl farm homestead. We, I just want to say, okay, so the... Invisible man shows up, and he's like, I'm here, but I got to go to bed. I'll see you in the morning. I own this hotel. I'll let you stay though.
Starting point is 00:26:10 Yeah, and they're like, okay. It is clearly dawn. It is clearly the break. Dawn. It is clearly the equivalent of like showing me like, yo, yo, that bike you're riding? That's my bike. I'm gonna let you keep riding it, but later I'll be coming back for that bike. This hotel that you know I don't own, I own it. Yeah, and I'll be back for it later.
Starting point is 00:26:33 She's like, no. And she's like, fine. He is wrapped completely in Gauss wearing welding goggles. So there there there there there there there there there there there there there there there th th th there there th th th th th th th th th th the th th th th thi thi thi thi thu thu thu thu thoom thi thi thi. thi. tho tho. that that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that. that. that. that. that. that. that. that. that. that. that. that's that's that's that's thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thooooooooooooooooooooooo. that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's there must be something to what he's saying. He must be a legitimate person. So now we go to the homestead, where we figure out that they need brain matter. So they're going to get brain matter. Oh, we figured that out? I don't think so. Try again. Again, my brain's just putting things in the order they should have appeared to me. I think so. So they go over the the the they go over their their their their their their their their their their their their their their th. th. th. th. tho tho tho tho tho tho tho tho tho tho tho thi. thoome. tho. tho. thoomomoom. to go to go tho. thoome. tho. tho. tho. tho. tho. tho. tho. tho. tho. tho. tho. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. the. the. the. the. the. the. toe. toe. toe. toe. toe. So. So. We's. So. toe. So. We's. We's. So. toe. toe. toe. toe. the order they should have appeared to me. I think so. So they go over there, and the puppet master has made a new puppet. Torch, who looks like a little Nazi puppet with bullet teeth. I like just bullet teeth, though.
Starting point is 00:27:13 He was cool looking. He looked great. So cool looking later, that a kid I realized he was Indiana Jones. I wonder if this kid has mental problems. But we didn't get away from child death as we were hoping to. No, it's true. So they go into the house, they get into a fight, they kill Buckflowers right off. And his wife thinks he's jerking off next to her, which was fucking hilarious. Go somewhere else.
Starting point is 00:27:42 I really laughed at that. I. I. I. I. I felt. th. tha. tha. tha. tha. tha. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. tho. tho. tho. thi's thi. thi. thiol-I thiol-I thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. to thi. to to to to to to toed to t toon't theeeeeeaa. thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi. I really laughed at that. I felt like an ass all afterwards. But then she gets into like a knockout drag out with the puppets. With a lady puppet, Leech Woman and Torch. Torch. Torch. I think Blades hanging out too, because I think he cuts her at some point. Yeah. She wins though. At first. She does because she burns Leech Woman and I was like, really? Leech woman's gone already? She hasn't even gotten to do anything gross and sexual with anybody. No, unfortunately. I think she comes back in this series. So she burns her in the like pot-belly stove.
Starting point is 00:28:17 She's got a shotgun that she's shooting at them with, drops the shotgun and rather than picking up the shotgun, she goes for a frying pan. It's a very housewifeian thing to do. That's initially a black iron skillet that becomes some other kind of frying pan like midway through the scene. I was like she's a magician. Maybe she's a psychic. This is where I had the note, holy shit, holy shit. Holy shit. Yeah, it's great too because the flame throw is shitty and you can see gasoline or whatever. It's thi. It's like, thi. It's like, thi, thi, thi, thi, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, like, like, it, thi, thi, like, thi, thi, it's a little, it's a thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, the thi, the the thi, the thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, is a thi, is a thi, is a thi, is a thi, is a thi, is a thi, is a very thi, is a thi, thrower doll. Yeah, yeah. It's great too because the flame thrower is shitty and you can see gasoline or whatever accelerates like a little it like pours out of it and then the flame starts. Yep. They don't, they didn't have, it's fine. It looked, it's fine. It's fine. So they burn her alive and then. Oh I think they made it dozed off for that. Yeah they they totally totly totly totly. T totly. T totally totally totally totally to told. to told. told. told. told. told. told. told. they. they. th. they. their. th. th. their their th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. their their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. they. they. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. th. th. th. the. th. th. the. the. the. the. the. the. the., I think they made it dozed off for that. I don't remember that. They totally cook her and Blade walks up and he goes, he does a little laugh and then sticks his blade into her face to pull her brain matter out.
Starting point is 00:29:12 Oh, I don't remember that. And that's when they take the brain matter back and Enrique or whatever is Eric. It's just like, it's cooked. Okay. See, this is where where where where where where where where where where where where where where th. thi th. thi thi thi thi thi. thi. thi. thi. thi, thi, it's thi, it's thi, it's thi, it's th. th. th. th. they's, it's like, it's like, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, he's, he's, he's, he's, he's, he. they, he. they, he. they, he. they, he. they, he. See, this is where I start to get a little foggy, because I like, I know they went to Egypt. Yeah. And I was like, I'm bored. I'm going to close my eyes for a few minutes. So they show his past where him and his wife, oh by the way, his deceased wife, his deceased wife, like Carole. Was the actress Carolyn? Okay, that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's th. That's th. That's th. That's th. That's th. That's th. I like that.
Starting point is 00:29:45 Very, very Bram Stokers Dracula. Remind me about Bram Stokers, Dracula. He was in love with Winona Ryder, because Winona Ryder looked like his dead wife who threw herself off the castle. Right. And Kiana Reeves was there. And Anthony Huffkins was chewing all the scenery. the scenery. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. thi. thi. too. too. th. too. too. too. too. too. too. too. to th. th. th. th. th. to too. too. too. too. too. too. too. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. thi. to thi. toe. toe. toe. too. toe. toe. toe. toe. toea. toea. toea. toea. toea. toea. toea. toea been made. Oh yeah, I gotta watch that again. I hate it at the time. Maybe I'll like it again. I think you will.
Starting point is 00:30:07 I won't. It's a good movie. It's not. Hi, John and Allison. Hey, guys. It's a good episode. It's a good episode. I did. It's a good episode. I have the note they need new brain fluid magic Egyptian shit. No, that's, that's, it makes perfect sense. So that he can make another half century of stringless marionettes.
Starting point is 00:30:30 What? Because the buffets are stringless marionettes. Yeah. What a half century? He needs enough fluid to make a half century because he's been doing this for a half century. Fine. Or he was dead for a half century? Fuck. I don't care. At th. At th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. the th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. the th. th. th. th. th. th. th. the th. th. thathe. th. th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. the. the. the. the. the. the. theea. thea. theea. thea. thea. At this point I have the note, this movie has it all. Yay, a flashback to Egypt no less. So... There's a Faustian puppet show. I remember seeing that. That everyone is bored to tears by. Yeah, because it's Faust.
Starting point is 00:31:00 Everybody in the crowd's like, I don't know what's going on. And I was like, is it because he's because is because he's because he's because he's because he's because he's because he's because he's because he's because he's because he's he's he's because he's he's he's he's he's he's he's he's he's he's he's he's he's he's th th th th thus thus thus thus thus thus thus they's they's they's they's they's they's they's they's they's they's they's they's they's they's they's they's they's they's they's they's they's they's they's they's they's they's they's I was like, is it because he's just doing English to a completely Egyptian audience that's problematic? That seems like a problem. Puppets are not going to translate well without language, I feel. No. And there's... I don't know. Maybe that's their job.
Starting point is 00:31:17 Hmm. Hmm. There's like a wizard guy that's watching them and lights all of his puppets on fire. Whoa, yeah? He's a wizard? It looks like. Cool. And I missed it. And so Toulon and his wife, Carolyn, not Carolyn, go and visit this wizard guy.
Starting point is 00:31:37 And the wizard guy's like, oh, I'm sorry, all of your puppets got burned up in a fire. Perhaps you'd like some of these puppets that are stringless and he's like, oh this is where you got a stringless puppets from. And then he's like, probably maybe you'd like this goblin, humunculus guy and it shows us like goblin goblin, like goblin, like goblin, like gulam, like gimmick, like a gimmick, like a golm or a Frankenstein or something. But they're imbued with like a life to themselves. Yeah, yes, so like a golem. Yes, like a gulam. Yes. Thank you. And then, uh, Kenny has shown up, who is Colin Burnton. His name's? Thinne. That's like this. thi. Oh, thin. Oh, th. And they. they. they. th. th. th. th. S. S. S. S. S. S. S. S. S. S. S. S. S. they. Just like this. Michael Kettie is his name.
Starting point is 00:32:31 She says such an overbite or something. Oh, I have a question. Yes. Are there novelizations of Westerns? Because he says he's a writer he writes of Westerns. Oh sure, like Louis Le Mour and there's, there's tons of westerns? Because he says he's a writer he writes Westerns. Oh sure, like Louis Lamore and there's tons of Western writers for sure. But then he says he doesn't know anything about Westerns. He's never ridden a horse or whatever. I don't even know. Yeah if you go to like half-price books there's just like a equal to the horror like book section. I had no idea. Yeah yeah yeah Yeah you're in red yeah, yeah, I'm rinner, read no like Cormac McCarthy or anything? I don't like the West. Hold on, so there's the ocean, outer space, and now the West. I'm just, no, I'm being facetious. I will go to the ocean, I will go to outer space, but the Old West is just not a thing that
Starting point is 00:33:25 like interests me. Sure. It seems like a terrible time to have been alive. I'd rather like read stuff about the Old West than like say like the Civil War or something like that. I know, we know. We've talked about it. We've talked about.
Starting point is 00:33:37 I don't. But then he's like, I write Westerns and your brother died and you're so sad and my mom's was like, tongue down your throat. I got so mad when they started making out. They make out at the weirdest moments. It's like they say a line and then they kiss but it's not a line that you would kiss afterwards. You know? It's like did you need me to pick up milk? Blah blah. Yeah, right. I was just thinking about the future. Blah da da da da. Is that a cockatiel?
Starting point is 00:34:08 Did you fart? Blahah! No mustard on my hands are. I asked you to do the dishes. Is this what kissing sounds like? Some people if they were going to make a kissing sound might go, but no, no, I'm. I think this might be the one that broke us.
Starting point is 00:34:36 Are we, maybe we shouldn't have done a two-parter. Blah-da-da-da-da-da-da-da. Give my $5. I think it should be noted too that. We're really wildly waving our hands. Give my five dollars. I think it should be noted too that we're really wildly waving our heads while we make that sound. Okay. So then there's like a camper van next to the hotel.
Starting point is 00:34:58 Yeah. What's on it? A little kid gets out of it. Oh yeah. Hey mom, I'm gonna go play in the woods with my Nazi figure. And he's got like a little GI Joeman. That he's like, oh, you're a Nazi, and I'm going to whip you because I'm Indiana Jones. I thought that was really weird until I realized he was in Indiana Jones. Don't let your child play with a whip. That's a really good point. That's like how you develop a serial killer, because you know he's gonna whip a squirrel.
Starting point is 00:35:26 And he's, and he's gonna like it. He's gonna like it, and it's gonna touch something inside him and he's never gonna be the same. It's true, it's true. Yeah. So he's whipping his little GI Joe man. out of the bush. Whips it into a bush. And out of the bush comes the little Nazi torch man. And the kid gets so excited. I mean, wouldn't you? It looks cool and he's almost the same size as the kid. Yeah, he's like two and a half feet doll. So the kid whips the
Starting point is 00:36:02 Nazi doll. Yeah. And then the doll burns the kid. It's pretty fucked. Uh-huh. I don't know. The next note I have is who cares about these nerds lives? I do not like any of the people in this hotel. I don't care. I mean, we see Lance and Wanda get killed right yeah after
Starting point is 00:36:26 they're fucking for a while fine it's fine well there's there's like the gratuitous boob scene where like I mean she just has boobs for no reason like because like Lance is in the shower and she's like oh let me go get up and look at this photograph mobs she turns to the camera just like sands there like she's like a you see these boobs you see these boops. Am I done now? Okay. She, like, is mad at him for taking a shower. No, she's mad at him because he has a picture of his wife and kid on the dresser.
Starting point is 00:36:56 Oh, I thought that was her and her mom. Lans you would have a th this picture of me and my mom. I know it was Lance's room. How was I supposed to know it was Lance's room? I thought she was in her room. I thought you this picture of her mom. I thought her mom was dead. I thought she was sad.
Starting point is 00:37:15 I invented this whole backstory for Wanda. Holy shit that's amazing. So it was like grief that she was upset with. Well, here's what. I thought she was sad and then I thought she was lashing out. Wow, that makes so much more sense. Can I just say that maybe he should have been in the picture too as an adult and that would have made the whole thing a lot clearer? This movie is all about the subtle interactions between human beings.
Starting point is 00:37:45 Hey, and I didn't fucking catch it. That's because it indulged senses to such a point. I thought that was her mom. It literally knocked you out for a few minutes. That's true. I'm very tired. I don't care. Carolyn and Colin Burnts are like, hey, you want to go dance in this room? Yeah. And she's like a hundred percent. Oh la la la la. And then the invisible man walks in and he's like, hey, do you mind if I
Starting point is 00:38:10 take this dance? You don't have to let this guy touch you. Oh, she did. No, she does. And then he's like, do you remember the song? And she's like, of course it's an old standard. No, this woman in her early 30 30 30 30 30 30 30 30 30 30 30 30 30 30 30 30 30 30 30 30 30 30 30 30 30 30. Fucking idiots. Whatever they go, fuck then. That's where I have the note, great, now they're fucking. And it shows his back. He's greased up like a pro wrestler. He looks like Roman reigns.
Starting point is 00:38:41 So it's... I don't know who that is, but I get it. But the hitman hard for us all overheads. Sure, sure, sure. So, he... It shows his back, and whoever greased him, there's like three-quarters of his back is solid oil slick and then the driest back you've ever seen. Yeah, it was very oddly, uh... And, uh, the sexine goes on for so long.
Starting point is 00:39:07 It's gross. I hate it. Yeah. And I want to, for the record, I'm not opposed to a sexy in a movie. These two movies have just had narly gross sex scenes. It's just, there's nothing, no. I mean, I'm, it's a, but, but... Did you feel bad for the sad, Jester, when he was making that sad guy face?
Starting point is 00:39:27 Of course. Of course you did. She just wanted to know. Here's a question about Carolyn. Yeah. Why did she pack a teddy when she was going to paranamble hotel with her brother? Yep. Because they were fucking. I mean Lance was there, so everyone probably assumed they were going to fuck Lance at some point.
Starting point is 00:39:48 So Lance gets chopped up by Blade and then Wanda gets chopped up by Blade. So that's a two-fer for Blade. And he gets some, he gets some of the brain matter that they need. So they start making the mint chocolate chip ice cream and brain matter. Burnson gets hit with the torch from torch, torch, tur-ch, toe, toe, toe, the torch, toe, the torch, th, the torch, the torch, their, their, their, their, their, their, th, their, th, their, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, the, thance, thance, thance, thance, thance, thance, thance, thance, thance, thance, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, the, the, and the, and the, and the, and the, and the, and toe, and toa, and toa, and than, toa, toa, toa, toa, toaaa, toa, than, than, tha, torch from torch, turch, terch, from the torch doll, but he doesn't get burned up because you can't burn a Burnsen that easily. It's literally in his name. I'm flabbergasted. So there's this whole like chase fight scene, which is amazing because come swinging out of the air of a chandelier is pinhead to punch Colin Burnton in the fucking face and I got so stoked.
Starting point is 00:40:30 And then he throws pinhead because everybody's always throwing pinhead. He throws him down all the flights of stairs and it's great. Why don't they just rip their arms and legs off? Who knows? And then flying in on nothing comes blade to attack him just like someone had thrown in they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they were they were they were they were they were they were they were they were they were they were like they were like they were like they were like they were like they were like they were like they were like they were like they were just just just just just they were like they were like they were just just they were just just just just just they were just just just just just just just just just just just just just just just just just just just just just just just just just just just just just just just just just just just just just just just. they were just. they just. they just. they just. they just just. they just just. they were they were they were they were they were comes Blade to attack him, just like someone had thrown your hand. They were like, puppets coming in on one, fooo. He sees that his mother is in the dumbwaiter, and he goes like, oh, mama.
Starting point is 00:40:58 He, mom, deem. Like, why was he, uh, I just, why did they not put it together that she was probes dead? I mean, there weren't really any clues that it could have happened with the murder dolls and her seeing the murder dolls and... And then someone else being murdered by a murder doll on camera? I mean, what are they, scientists? Fine. Oh, yeah, they literally are. Toulon, who is revealed to be Eric Cheney, none of us could have guessed. I. I. I. I they they they they they they they th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. thi? thi. thi. they thi. they thi. they they they thi. they they they they they they they they they thi. they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they're they're they're they're they're they're they're they're they're they, they literally are. Toulon, who is revealed to be Eric Cheney, none of us could have guessed. He has made new bodies for Carolyn, whose body is totally fine, and himself whose body is... Decrepit. Made of mud.
Starting point is 00:41:36 But is that supposed to look like her? Because that is extremely unflattering. flattering. This is a reference for almost no one. Do you remember the band Living Color? Cult of Personality? Yeah, yeah, okay. Yeah. They had another lesser hit called Glamour Boys. And in the, I think you mean Pajama Boy. They were bananas and pajamas, marching down the stairs, called Glamor Boys. And in the video, they had men that were dressed up like Ken dolls and looked almost exactly like these two mannequin people. Wow, weird. Why are their eyes rubber and bulging out of their faces?
Starting point is 00:42:17 I don't know. I'm doing it. I'm making my eyes balled out. So he has to like, he's got the juice now, and he makes a point to like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, the the, to, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, they... they. they. they. they. they. they. they. th. th. to. to. to. to. t t t together, the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. So he has to like, he's got the juice now, and he makes a point to look at the dolls and go, hey, or sorry, I should have some respect, to look at the puppets and say, oh, this is only enough juice to revitalize these bodies and you guys are going to die. Mo, moah, moah. Who's you guys? The bupits. They're going to run out out out out out out out out out out the their their their their their to run run run run run run run run run run to run to run to run to run to run to run to run to run to run to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to their. to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to. Oh the little puppets, that's why they get mad. Jester is already getting low on juice.
Starting point is 00:42:48 This is stupid. So he has to dump the juice into the new puppet body and then slit his own throat into the puppet body's mouth. Is that what happened? Yeah. It was dark. It was hard to tell. I thought he looked cool when he took the bandages off. Oh, I thought he looked great. Yeah. The puppets and the special effects are really, really fine in this movie. They were totally wasted on this moving. So he slits his throat, bleeds and then the puppet stands up at its mouth and I cackled when that happens. And he's like, all right, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, no, I, I, I, I, no, no, I th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th. th. th. th. th. tot, tot, tot, tot, tot, tot, tot, tot, tot, tot, tot, tot, tot, tot, tot,. Why? And she's like, oh right, Michael! He does not run good. He runs like a damnum.
Starting point is 00:43:31 He's like bouncing off the walls of each side of the hallway. But boom, but boom, why? Just run straight, Michael. He was reliving that aha video. Yeah. Take me. So you get that, but not my living color glamour boys' reference. Everybody knows the aha video.
Starting point is 00:43:48 True, it was groundbreaking. So they don't get to put her essence into there, and Tulane is killed by the puppets who smash his hand, which was totally flexible, and then they smash it and it's made of glass, which I really enjoyed. It was wood. Oh, it was wood. It was wood. It was wood. Because he's a wooden buffet. Look, I know a fact. And this is where I get a little hazy. Oh, here? I've been checked out for the last 10 minutes.
Starting point is 00:44:14 So there's a van driving away at the end. Yeah. That's got the Elsa doll, the Carolyn's new body doll. Yeah. Dressed up like a jester. Yeah. And like when you see the shot of the gesture with the juice next to her doll going, oh! Yeah. Did he put his own essence into that body? No, it's Camille. Yeah because when they're talking to, when Tooth's is talking to, Carolyn later, and they're like, ah, ah, ah, ah, and they're at her grief side, and she's like, he's not there anymore, and he's like, but why was her throat cut later?
Starting point is 00:44:54 Because they were taking her blood or whatever to put her, no, that's it, I'm that's, that's, that's, that's, that's, the, that's, the, the, that's, the, the, the, the, th.. And, that's, the, that's, the, the, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and their, and their, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and... And, and. And, and, and. And, and. And, and. And. And, and. And, and, the. And, the. And, the. And, the. the. the. the. the. they. the. they. they. they. they. they. they're, they. they. they? Because they're gonna go see the mentally troubled tots and teens. But why was the Nazi puppet sitting in the front seat with her, not the jester pup? Oh, that doesn't make any sense. But the, um, the van said like Camille's puppet show. Yeah, it's Camille's essence. But I don't understand. What's what's? What's? What's? What's? What's? What's? What's? What's? What's? What's? What's? What's? What's? What's? What's? What's? I? I? I? I? I? I's? I's? I's? I's? I's? I's? I the? Starting point is 00:45:35 I am even more confused now than when I watch the film. Wait, I just want to point out that this... This movie also ends with a new person becoming like, the one I watched the film. Wait I just want to point out that this movie also ends with a new person becoming like the puppet master which is Camille. Oh sure. But I don't think she's probably at the start of three I bet it's a new story. You're almost curious to watch the rest of these movies. I was going to let the third one just play out. I did not. Later, we're going to do, we're coming back to the puppet first. Yeah, let's just like have this be our white whale is the 12th, it or 13th version of Puppet Master. We'll get to it. We know how I always said we'd end on the thing. We're
Starting point is 00:46:16 actually going to end on the puppet master 13. So I would give this movie a five, much like I gave the last one. You think these movies are par to you. No, fuck that, I'm giving you a three, it's fucking trash. I had a good time because I knew that we were going to have a good time talking about it. But like, that doth not make a good film. Wait. Counterpoint. You love a fire walk. I do, and there were there were there were there were there were there were their their their their their their there were two of them in this. Yeah. That's all. Actually three. Were there three? Well it was a little kid of firewalk? We didn't know. He does off screen luckily. Okay, so never mind. I don't know. I zone down.
Starting point is 00:46:55 I mean, it wasn't, it's nowhere near the worst thing we've done. Oh no. But it's fucking bunghole. Yeah. I mean it is delving in to. It's to. It's to. It's to to to direct to direct to direct to direct to direct to direct to direct to direct to direct to direct to direct to direct to direct to direct to direct to direct to direct to direct to direct to direct to direct to direct to direct to direct to direct to to to to direct thing we've done. Oh no. But it's fucking bonghole. Yeah, I mean it is delving into direct a video in 1990 horror movie. Everything hurts. Oh, it's really bad. Yeah, it's a three. It's a three. It's a three. Okay. It's a three. It's a three. It's so bad. So bad. Yeah, I would totally say if someone said, should I watch Puppet Master 2, I'd be like, oh fuck yeah. You please do, and tell me if you get it. Yeah. What I like is some people that got in tough toub it, theymeast one not so good, but two really, you know, revives it.

Starting point is 00:51:06 Also, you made a mix for my child. It was very sweet. Oh. Just want to tell everybody about it. Eh. Eh. Ehhh. Um, let's do a Canadian entry in the 1997.
Starting point is 00:51:15 toovre. the 90s in Canada? Oh yeah. I guess I did. Made it hit me in heart. Everybody had an undercut. Let's do the cube. I really thought you were about to say the cell and I was going to correct you. No, we already did that. The cube. The cube. The trailer looks fucking ridiculous. I yelled at it. I also said is that Dave Matthews. I don't think it is. Thank you if you were the person who suggested the cube to us. I did not write your name down. Let's wait and see the movie and then decide if we're thankid them. Eh, they're going to give us joy in some way, shape or form.
