Starting point is 00:00:00 Don Dolar, what have you done? In a movie? He wrote, edited, produced, and directed a movie. He wrote, edited, produced, and directed a movie, which means, nah-dog. You know how much you spent to make this movie? $27.00. $3,500. Wow.
Starting point is 00:00:30 It's all on the screen. It's true. It is all on the screen. You cannot deny that. Mm-hmm. I'm Alan. This is a werewolf ambulance. It is.
Starting point is 00:00:42 Some reason I can't go until I've stated that to you all. No, it's true. We need to make sure we lay our cards on the table. We need to be honest. This is where will the ambulance. And we're doing another listener suggestion. Fan appreciation? Same of Samzies. This one was suggested by Friend of the podcast. Can you suggest it to us on Twitter?
Starting point is 00:01:27 I will. I'll tweet it us when I get out of here. Did you watch the trailer for this movie? Yeah, you showed it to me, remember? It's fucking bonkers. I just watched it and I was like, is this movie? Is it? I still don't know. There's people making out in that car. Okay, so this is a 1978.
Starting point is 00:01:48 Do we say what the name of the movie? It's called The Alien Factor. We must not have, because I would have laughed. Released in 78, originally filmed in 72. Did not know that? Yeah, shelled for a little while. I can't imagine why. It was like a fine wine they were letting it age. It is a movie question mark.
Starting point is 00:02:14 Yeah. Yeah. What did I say? I think I said to a email message that was like this makes without warning look like citizen. It did. It did. It did. It did. Without warning, at least has a McDonald land character. And a real actor. Wasn't David Cassidy in that? It's got a Martin Landau. Yeah. And Jack, uh, Palance, yeah. Isn't David Cassidy in that? Don't think so, but I like to think he might be. We need to get the guy's name. David Cassidy from the Hardy boys? Or is he the Partritch family? C. C. C. C. C. Is th. Is th. Is th. Is the? Is the? Is the? Is the? Is the? Is the? Is the? Is the? Is the? Is the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the th. Is. Is. Is. Is the. Is the. Is the. Is the. Is the. Is the. Is the. Is. Is the. Is. Is. Is. Is. Is. Is. Is. Is. Is. Is. Is. Is. Is. Is. Is. Is. Is. Is. Is. Is. Is. Is. Is. Is. Is. Is. Is. Is. Is. Is. Is. Is. Is. Is. Is. Is. Is. Is. Is. Is. Is. Is. Is. Is. Is. Is. Is. Is. Is. Is. Is. Is. Is. Is the. Is the. Is the. Is the. Is the. Is the. Is the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the. Is. Is. Is. Is. Is the. Is. he might be. Wait, that's not, I need to get the guy's name. David Cassidy from the Hardy Boys?
Starting point is 00:02:46 Or is he the Partridge family? Partridge family. They were the Cassidy brothers. I get Sean and David, I get a mixed up. Hang on. And I'm 107 because I do then. David Caruso. Oh, right. I lowered my sunglasses and that happened. Yes, you did. Also, I just cannot name people's names.
Starting point is 00:03:06 No, no. You got close. You got the David Hood. I got a David C. So this movie starts off with... Wait, I want to, first, like, I just want to know why this movie. I want to know where this guy found it, Dr. Horgik, I'm assuming as a guy, because I feel like a woman would never have been this. She would have included the MD after it. Yeah. No, she would have just been horror geek because women never take their accomplishments and put them out there for anyone to see. Everything sucks. So, yeah, he tweeted
Starting point is 00:03:39 at us about doing a Don Dole movie and this was the one that was available. Oh, okay. There was a few other ones, and like, they just weren't anywhere to be seen. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. She. She. This. This. This. This. This, this. This, th, the the th, the the the th. the th. the their their th. th. their th. She's their their their their their their th th. She's th th th. She was just their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their, their, their, their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their this was the one that was available. There was a few other ones and like they just weren't anywhere to be seen. This was his first movie. Yeah. He made others? Oh yeah. Interesting. So and like when this was tweeted I was like a bunch of people liked the tweet and I was like, all right this is what the kids won. I can understand. I mean it's got like a mystery science the t oh yeah yeah joyfulness to it. This reminds me a lot of a movie that we watched at Ladies Nightmare a year or so ago called Satan's Blade. I like the name. I want to see if it had a subtitle which I think it did hang on one second. Sharper than hell. No it did not have ale, but it did star one of my favorite actors' names. Tom Bonjorno. But it's basically this movie, but just with like a killer, I don't even remember what it was at this point.
Starting point is 00:04:40 It's a Rob Antipasta. I mean, it's bad. It's really, really bad. So this was better than that. No, I'm talking about this. Rob and I were watching this because I thought he loves aliens as you know, and he just loves everything about aliens and it's always fucking up both my YouTube and Hulu cues. Because I'm like, I don't want to watch conspiracies.
Starting point is 00:05:06 Anyway, and I knew he would love this. And he loved every blessed second of the 77 minutes of this film. Mercifully short. And the credits are 90% of it. Fockebo bends. You've 77 minutes, fucking get to it. That was some Charles Band stretching they were doing there. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:05:27 Oh, we were watching this movie, and he said to me, do you think you could act better than these people? And I said, oh yeah, 100%. But then Benjamin Zachary came on screen, and I said, I could not act better than him. Shit. Yeah. So this movie starts off with equations, science, and space. Computers? Question mark?
Starting point is 00:05:48 A shot of Saturn? It's a long shot of Saturn. I was like, that looks so shitty. And Rob was like, I think that's a real photo of Saturn. And I was like, I think that's the screenshot from the beginning of mystery science theater. You're a liar. I still don't know if he's right. I didn't look it up. Why would you check that? He said it's a famous photo.
Starting point is 00:06:09 I did finger quotes. He was really trying to tell me this was a good movie. I don't know. Can you get him on the horn? Let's talk about this? Should I call him? So, this movie starts up with people in a car...? Yeah. Drinking Boots Farm right out of the bottle. I like that a lot. And open mouth, no lip kissing. Open mouth, no lip kissing. Their lips are rolled back onto their teeth and they're just sticking their mouth together.
Starting point is 00:06:38 What would that sound like if you had to guess. Blah-dall. Blah-dall. That's the answer. It would sound like that with like a skeleton clacking the whole time. You have skeletons here. Why are we not clacking them? I can't. It's just so much clack. This foley work? I'll go clack it and post.
Starting point is 00:07:00 And then there's an excruciatingly long scene of something walking up to the car through the like reeds. Is this the shitty creature from the Black Lagoon costume? Or is this the shitty Sasquatch? This is the trash bag monster. Oh, right, right. It looks like it's made out of trash bags. It's an alien bug. At least it's several trash bags. It's true. And it's th it's th it's th it's th it's th it's th it's th th th the th th th the th the th. thii. thi. the thi. It's thi. It's thi. It's thi. It's thi. It's thi. It's thi. It's thi. It's thi. That's the ladies name. She's screaming, ah!
Starting point is 00:07:31 Ah! That becomes important later. For some reason I really loved everybody's named in this movie. So I've written them down every time they're on screen. Probably because they say it a Brazilian times. Stephen, Ruth, Ruth, Ruth, thejane, Sjahie, the, the, the, the, th, th, th, the, th, the, th, th, the, the, they, th, th, they, they, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and theyjjjjahea, and theyjane, and, and, and theyjjjjjjjahejjjjahahahejjjahahahahejjjane, and they're they're they're they're they're they're, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and the, and th, and theyyyyyyyyyyyjane, and theyjane, and theyrary, and theyraryaryaryaryary-s, and theaaeaeaeaeaeaeaeaeaeaeazys, and theaeaeaeaeaea, and thea, Ruth, Jack, Ruth, Pete, Stephen, Mary Jane, Stephen, Ruth, Jack, Mayor, Ede, Ede, Ede, Ede. You remembered all their names. So Sheriff Sinder takes the body of, was it Rex Walker, was it, Rex Walker? Texas Ranger, takes the body to Stephen Rex Walker was it? Rex Walker. Texas Ranger.
Starting point is 00:08:05 Takes the body to Stephen and Aunt Ruth. What? Okay I have so many questions. She's the corner. Is she Stevens aunt? I miss the. Why is the hospital in her basement? Why is the hospital in her house? Why do they not have municipal vehicles? They're just rolling bodies around in station wagons. The cops driving just a car. A cop shows up in a VW bug with the mayor. Yeah, yeah. And they opened the like the hatchback of a station wagon. They're like, there's the body. There's Rex Walker. There's Rex Walker. Wrecked in a tarp maybe. This is part of the trash bag. This is crazy. And they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they're they're they're like they're like they're like they're like they're like they're like they're like they're like they're like they're like they're like they're like they're like they're like they're liked. they're like, they're like, they're they're they're their their their their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. This is crazy and they're like how's Mary Jane and like well she's pretty bruised up. Why nothing happened to her. She ran away. She's terrible at running.
Starting point is 00:08:50 I mean this was filled in like rural Maryland outside of Baltimore. Sure. And it just it shows in the best best way they have the best Baltimore accent. Come on. It was that delightful thing. It was that delightful thing. It was that appal. I was like, oh is this outside Pittsburgh? It's Baltimore. It's Appalachia, Pittsburgh, Baltimore, West Virginia. Come on! Have you ever seen the movie Flesh Eater? I don't think so. It's the main zombie from, the first zombie you see in Night of Living Dead, the one that like smashes the window with the rock? Oh, he's in it and it's like, but it's filmed in the 80s.. But, but it's filmed in th. But, but it's filmed in th. But it's filmed in th. But it's filmed in th. But it's filmed in the th. It's filmed in th. You got it. You're nailing it. Which is that?
Starting point is 00:09:34 I assume you just said the man's name twice. Say the woman's name? Don. Say the man's name. Don. Fuck off. Fuck wolf wolf wolf! A werewolf amulets classic! You guys like our jokes? You like our jokes?
Starting point is 00:09:51 Oh man. If you like him the first time, you'll love him the 30th. You know what I mean? So, uh, there's Steve. Stephen. He's always Stephen. Vance and Ted show up. Who's Vance? I don't, one of the white guys. Okay.
Starting point is 00:10:05 Oh yeah, okay, those dudes just show up in their bell bottoms looking like a weird band? They did. Oh, but there's an even we're even we're a weirder band later. Atlages, I'm obsessed with them. I can't wait. I can't talk about them later. I can't talk about them later. I can't talk about them them them them them them them them them them their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their. I'll their. I'll their. I'll talk about. I'll talk about. I'll they'll talk about. Let their. I'll talk about. I'll talk. I'll talk. I'll talk. I'll talk. I'll talk. I'll talk. I'll talk. I'll talk about. I'll talk about. Let's th. Let's toke. I'll tell. Let's tell. I'll tell. Let's tell. I'll tell.'re like, they open the trunk and they look at Rex Walker's body and they're like, just leave the body there, we'll get it later. And then literally in the same minute of the movie, they're like, get the body, we're going inside. Like, why did you write that?
Starting point is 00:10:34 It's literally later though. I know none of you are ad. scene of the movie, like you didn't get tired. The deputy and Bert show up, Bert being our mayor. Oh, it goes to talk to the sheriff. And he's like, did she say anything? She's in shock, Bert. She didn't think anything. Oh, right. Is what he says.
Starting point is 00:10:56 Oh, right. Are he just yells, shock, Bert? That's what he does. Oh man, and Pete and Jack show up? Pete is the deputy. He's not old enough to drive. And he spends the whole movie just like, trying really hard not to look at the camera. Did you notice that? He was just like, pulling his face away from it! God damna, Pete, get your eyes off the front eyes. Oh, Pete. So, then we cut to a scene of lights dancing between bejeaned legs for a while.
Starting point is 00:11:29 For a really long time. It's a still shot of those legs too. You know they're not moving. And then we cut to, oh, we see there's a spaceship. It's an RV, right? It's on its side with guns. And then we see see the alien the alien the alien the alien that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's little on his side with guns. And then we see that. Oh shit. The alien that's standing in front of it is wearing jeans and no shirt
Starting point is 00:11:53 and looks like it's made of shit. It does look like it's made of shit. I named a doo-doo boy. Ha ha-ha-ha-ha-doo boy. I wish this movie had been called Doodoo Boy the Alien Quest. I have a note, he's a Dudoo Boy in Jeans. Yeah, he's a Doody boy in jeans. Is that Benjamin Zachary looking back?
Starting point is 00:12:15 I mean, I don't know if it's him. I mean, in the movie. Yes, he's the Dutu Boy in James. And then we cut to Jerry Garcia riding a motorcycle. Oh, I called him Luigi. the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the then we cut to Jerry Garcia riding a motorcycle. Oh, I called him Luigi. It gets flipped off his bike by something. Wait, no, you are just totally bypassing one of the funniest lines in the movie, which is the couple down by the water and he says, why don't you look at me instead of the fish? I'm like, do that written time.
Starting point is 00:12:44 And then she runs in front of the bike the bike the bike the bike the bike the bike the bike the bike instead of the fish. I'm like, do that written time. And then she runs in front of the bike and he hits her. Oh, that's why. And then he... God, Christ! Christ! But then the boyfriend walks away and she just keeps looking at the fish. She wants to look at the fish. She's going to be an Ick. didn't her stop looking at the fish? Fuck that. So he goes, fine, I'll see you back at the car.
Starting point is 00:13:07 And he leaves her with the fish. She's gonna be an ichthyologist. Let's stare at the fish. So she gets hit by Luigi's bike. And he just gets up and rides away. And she has a massive bruise on her face, not how bruises work. And then, Dud Boy, as I have the the the th, as I have th, as I have th, as I have th, as I have th, th, th, th, to have, to have, to have to have th, to to have to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to the the the to too, too, too, too, too, the the the too, the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th... thi. too, the., too, too, thea., toooooooooooooooooooooooo, the., the... as I have the note, Doodoo Boy comes a call-in. Oh, that's why he heals her, because he's not one of the three.
Starting point is 00:13:27 He's Doodoo Boy, the alien quest. Luigi never shows back up. That's it for Luigi. I'm sorry, Jerry Garcia. I was so excited, because I have the note, Dud Boy heals Blondie. Yeah. And then they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they th. they th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. tho. th. that. tho. tho. that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's th. That's th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. the. the. the. the. thooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo. th. th. th. I have the note, Doodoo Boy Heals Blondie. Yeah. And then they go, how's Debbie? And I was like, her name was Debbie and I called her Blondie.
Starting point is 00:13:48 Oh, perfect. Yeah, I really nailed it. Good. Gmoine. Oh, man. Oh, man. We cut to a scene of the morgue. Steve, Stephen. Working on a body Steve Steven his name is Stephen and I will not stand for you
Starting point is 00:14:06 Sorry, I'm being too familiar Yeah, don't condescend to Stephen, but as a three three thousand five hundred dollar budget. There's no special effects for the bodies now so he's just putting his hands into a bag? Yeah Is that something was there even anything in the bag? I don't know That's what I'm doing it Ruth That's what I'm doing, Aunt Ruth. That's what he says. Help me Jesus.
Starting point is 00:14:30 Jesus, to take the dutu boy. Aunt Ruth says that Mary Jane is doing better. Right. And this is where Ede calls into the movie. Edy who's like, calls in and she's just listening to a loud-ass psych rock. It's Atlantis! I love it. And she calls Stephen, who she calls Stevie, because they're very familiar. Well she can call on that but that doesn't mean you can. And Steve asks Aunt Ruth if she's got any info for Edy who works for the paper and Aunt Ruth's it a little close to the vest. But she isn't, she's like I guess you could say that there's a deadly monster out there. I guess that's a good idea.
Starting point is 00:15:11 Aunt Ruth be fucking professional. God damn damn it, Dr. Aunt Ruth. Honestly. Oh man. Then we are in the diner right with the the shitty band that we saw from the bell bottom that th of th of th of th of th of the them men are, we're in the diner, right? With the shitty band that we saw from the bell bottom guys that we saw in the first week. And the guy says, come on. I'm gonna say it every four minutes or less. And they're going out to be vigilantes.
Starting point is 00:15:40 Right, and they're taking this woman. He's like, I don't think we should. And he's like, no. He's made a decision. Yeah, that's it. Yeah, that's it. I did not understand that scene. No, why would you? Why?
Starting point is 00:15:54 I mean, it's not like it's moving at a good clip. It's not hanging around for too long anywhere. Right, we get the idea. Something has crashed. There's a trash bag monster. And they're killing people. Yeah. Fine.
Starting point is 00:16:13 I'm in. Let's do it. their,. to. the. the........................................................................ to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the.................................................................................................................................................................'d have her name somewhere. The trash bag monster attacks them and everybody with Susan is killed. So I thought that was... She's screaming, see? That's important. Come back to it. And... And then it snows. Yeah, it's like they had to put in that scene later than being like, we're gonna get five inches of snow. But then it doesn't anymore and then it does again. Here's where I have the note. You like looking at a cardinal? Have I got a movie for you? There was literally three minutes of two cardinals eating seeds.
Starting point is 00:16:52 Yeah, definitely not stock footage, right? Shit. And then the light comes and attacks some dude. Who's just hanging out in his yard after the interminable... Oh no, this is... Okay, so it's the Cardinal, and then the light attacks some guy, and then there's 10 minutes of kids playing with a ball on a ridge.
Starting point is 00:17:14 I think those were, what's the director's name? Don Dolar. They were his kids. Dawn Dolar. Don, Don Dolar. Don? Doler I got. Yeah, but it was, they, they, they, they, the they, the the the the the the the th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th. the the th. the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the, the, the, thethe the the the the the the th. Yeah, it th. Yeah, it th. Yeah, it th. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. It? It? It th. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. It th. Yeah. It th. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. It th. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. It th. It th. It th. It th. It's th. It's th. th. th. th. th. th. th. the th. the the the the the the the the the the the Yeah. So then the snow is gone when they find the body. And what did he die of Katie? Progeria. He died of progeria. I feel like that was a gift for us. I caps lock exclamation pointed, progeria.
Starting point is 00:17:58 And she said it right, unlike Susan Serrandon. What was that movie called? The Hunger. Night Times. Was it not called Night Times? The Hunger. Wouldn't Nighttimes have been a better name for it? I think the better name is Bowie's gone halfway through. Yeah. Not even.
Starting point is 00:18:17 He does not make it to the midpoint of that. Oh, spoilers for night times. You're going to fast forward through the sex scene. Oh my god, it's so boring. Like I get it. So this dude's all burn up. I haven't the note he's green like Lady Liberty. Yeah, he is. He's like copper-colored green.
Starting point is 00:18:37 Why? That's not what the jury does to you? And it would she's that, oh my god. Aunt Ruth keeps being like, it's only found in children and it takes a really long time to take effect and we would have known if he had it, but that's what it looks like. And the sheriff's like, but you're saying, that's what it is?
Starting point is 00:18:51 And she's like, no, I'm saying, it's only found in children and it would take thae, interminable scene of them discussing whether or not he has progeria. I wanted her to be like, well, maybe it's adult onset progeria. She will not admit to that because it isn't real. Oh my God. And I kept thinking, this is sort of jazian, you know? And then the- Because you've got the loose cannon mayor. And then he shows up and he starts talking about the amusement complex and I was like,
Starting point is 00:19:28 the beaches must stay open. You know? We're gonna get an amusement complex. You're okay? It was so shoehorned and there was wonderful. Oh, no, it makes perfect. You can't have bad publicity out here in Perry Hill. They're going to get an amusement complex. We find out that Rex was poisoned.
Starting point is 00:19:47 Was he? Yeah. Weird, I didn't know that. Oh, maybe I did. No, I didn't. It doesn't matter. It doesn't matter. There's the scene where the mayor and Ruth's in the sheriff's office.
Starting point is 00:19:56 the sheriff's office. the thoves. th is is sheriff never leaves. He does not leave to do any sort of police work. If he leaves, he's gonna must up that perfect hair that he has. We were playing, is that a wig or isn't that a wig? And our conclusion was no, because you could see like scalp. Yeah, and they did not have the budget for a scalp wig. So, but I th th th th th adult onset for Gerria and the sheriff walks in and for I don't know No fucking reason she turns to the mayor or the mayor walks into the sheriff's office and Ruth turns to him and she's just like Ugh and like disgusted I don't know why? Who like who do you think these actors were? Do you think they're like local theater people?
Starting point is 00:20:46 Or do you think they were friends? Theater people and friends probably, yeah. My God. Yeah. My God. Then we go to a bar. Discount liquors. It looks like Lou's little corner bar here in Pittsburgh.
Starting point is 00:20:59 I did. And in there is Atlantis. And this dude, they was just drinking real hard. I, they they were, they were, okay. they were, okay. they were, okay. they were, okay. they were, they were, they were, they were, they were, they were they were they were their they were th. their thi. thi. thi. thi. they were thi. thi. thi. they were they were, they were, they were, they were, they were, they were, they were, they were, they were, they were, they were. they were. they were. they were. they were. they were. they were. they were. they were. they were. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. thi. thi. thi. the. thin. the. theeat theat theat theat theateateateateateateateateateateateateateateateateateateateateateateat. thea. And this dude, he was just drinking real hard. No, I couldn't tell if they were, okay, so they kept cunning to him and then maybe another guy. I couldn't tell if it was two guys or they just kept showing him from different angles. I really could not tell. Do you know? I don't. Okay. I do like that he was drinking like a natty bow out of a tiny glass. Yeah, his hand, it made his hand like massive. Why was he drinking baby beers? Is that a thing from the 70s, baby beers?
Starting point is 00:21:31 Makes you feel like you're drinking more beer. I guess. Why don't you just take shots of beer? For the burps. Do you ever do a power hour? No? Do you ever want to do a power hour? I don't, to to to to to do to do to do th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. tho? thoom. thoom. th. thi? thoom. tho. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. the. the. thea. tooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo? I don't know what that is. Okay, it's really fun. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:21:46 You get a shot glass. You get about seven beers and a stopwatch. Every minute you take a shot of beer. Minute shot a beer. Minute shot a beer. That's 60 ounces of beer. Oh my god. That's I guess five beers.
Starting point is 00:21:59 Yeah. No, because a shot is an ounce and a half. Okay. So it's 90 ounces of beer. Jesus. You want to do that? You will probably throw up. Yeah, I don't want to do that. It's fun to throw up. Maybe in your 20s. No, maybe in your teens.
Starting point is 00:22:14 Or as Atlantis says, maybe someday. So Atlantis plays the first song, and when they stop? Nothing. No reaction from the room whatsoever. I've played that show though, you know what I mean? Oh yeah. Oh, got you. And then? Also I'm obsessed with the bass player in his two short bangs. I love him. I love him. I want him to be my husband. It kind of little like emo filips. Yeah. But in like a gruffer way. Yeah. grizzlier way. And like the other dude was dressed like Herman and the Hermits. He had like a flowy, blousey thing. A ruffled top and maybe a valour jacket?
Starting point is 00:22:51 So that's Lon Talbot, who went on after Atlantis to be in the Lon Talbot band. You made, I want you all to know. I wish you could see this because Alan just made like a the dramatic sweeping of his arm as if I would know what the fuck he was talking about I do not would you know so apparently Atlanta split out a seven inch with maybe someday is the B side I don't remember what the A side too bad because that's on fucking ripped it's a smoker it's good rules it rules so they but they were gonna release the seven inch and then the cover they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they were they were they were they were they were they were they were they were they were they were they were they were they were they were they were the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the th th th th th th th the the the the the thea thea thea thea thea the thea the the the the the the the th but they were gonna release the seven inch and then realize that the cover looked too much like Jaws Like the poster art for Jaws so the seven inch never got released. Why not just redo the art?
Starting point is 00:23:31 Yeah, so it's I don't think Atlantis didn't they didn't have that kind of money You look at it up on Spotify. Yeah, it's not is it? No, maybe someday. Maybe someday would be the first song on there. I mean, yeah, the the the the the the the the the th. Yeah, the the the the the the th. Yeah, the the the the the th. Yeah, their. their. I mean, yeah. I couldn't find, the records like, it goes for like 250 bucks on Discogs. Geez. It's really hard to get. Yeah, but it's the clip from the movie. Yeah, there's a lot of songs called. Yeah, there's a lot of songs. Yeah, the tho song song song song song song song song song song song song song song songs songs songs songs songs songs songs songs songs songs songs songs songs songs songs songs songs songs songs. th so th songs th songs th songs th songs th songs th songs than songs than songs than songs than songs tho tho tho tho tho tho tho tho tho the tho tho th. the th. th. th. th. th. th. th. the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. thi thi. thi. thi the. the the tho the tho to to to to to to to to to to to to today tho tho tho tho th good song. I look forward to making a psych rock mix for your baby at some point when she gets into psych rock.
Starting point is 00:24:07 She really likes the new wave one you made her. Awesome. She really does, genuinely does. When she gets into some weird riffs and songs about aliens, I got her, I got her covered. Yeah, I mean, there's no way she's not going to be into aliens, thinks Rob. So Atlantis? I have the note, dude, I'm feeling Atlantis. I honestly really love it. I mean, it's a highlight of this film. How do you feel about their dancing ladies? The ladies are just standing next to I'm like, they're just sort of boogie in with their butts like moms at a wedding who aren't quite
Starting point is 00:24:36 drunk enough yet. They're like not drunk enough to do the like finger pointing their their their their their their their their their their their their their the air, side to side, hip, hip, side, hip, finger, point. They're not biting their lip or anything, but... Okay, so this guy, I guess it was just one guy at the bar. We see him go, I thought he was in like a CD motel because he has his boots on the bed, and it looks like one. No, it's his home. Where is grand's home? It is a very large house, and I don't, and I and I and I and I and I and I, and I, and I, and I, and I, and I, and I, and I's, and I's, and I's, and I's, and is grandma's home? It is a very large house and I don't believe it belongs to him. No, you don't think Bob Little Glass is going to be out there doing it. No, I do not think Bob Little Glass is out
Starting point is 00:25:11 there doing it. Oh, Atlantis also, they play the entire song. It's like four minutes long. It's like the 77 minutes. Yeah, it's four we're down to 63 at that point. That's like an episode of something. You have all, you know what I mean? It's fine. Also, 20 minutes of this movie, people just walking in the woods to suspenseful music. They run out. For no reason. It's not suspenseful.
Starting point is 00:25:38 Nothing happens. It gets so ridiculous later on. What gets so ridiculous later on. So he hears a noise. What? What? Oh, okay. It gets more ridiculous. What? He hears a noise, gets a gun. It goes into the basement.
Starting point is 00:25:53 This is where I have the note. Move over shit man. Move over a trash bag monster. It is. Do we ever find that guy's body? Does he ever turn up? Now this all happens for, like literally the bar, the Atlantis, the him going home, it all happens for nothing. Except it introduced the Harry Choker monster, who cannot, none of them can emote, which I like a lot. When we meet him again later he's like nine feet tall. He's on
Starting point is 00:26:28 stilts it's a man on stilts. He starts off in the basement. Oh my god you're right. So he's crouching while he's murdering Bob Little Glass. Did you guys did you guys watch this movie or are you just listening to this episode? Because if you didn't watch it, like, you probably ought to. Oh, we dropped a lot of acid, right? Oh, yeah. This isn't even a movie that exists. We're making it up as we go. Do-do boy?
Starting point is 00:26:55 Not real. Katie. Yeah, thanks. the town. Benjamin Zachary comes to town. Fuck yeah, he does. He rolls into town with that stash. He's pretty good. Does he act again? I would hope so. Yeah, he's another stuff. This is where I have the note, a scene for every thought, because they could not, it was like he didn't know that you could make a movie
Starting point is 00:27:20 and maybe like reference things that happen off camera. He shows you every blessed thing that happens. Every conversation we're watching the whole thing. You know what I mean? It's a new scene, a new thought. I had a thought, let's see it. So Ben Zachary is from the space observatory. Sure. He's tracking a meteor. That crashed down there, over there a little way, but...
Starting point is 00:27:48 Five miles outside of town. No one else saw it, though, just him. Mayor thinks it's weird, he should have heard about it. He's got his finger on the pulse. Ben Zachary also says, I'm an adventurer. I know. I know. I like that. And he's a believer. Sure. Was Rob stoked on that? Me too. Yes, he was one with Ben Zachary. He just pressed his face into the TV and was like, you are mine and I am yours. It was weird.
Starting point is 00:28:14 I didn't like that part actually. Oh, is that when Ben Zachary turns to the camera and smooches? Yeah, that must have been. What does he do? He goes, blah, blah, blah. That's funny when we do that, right? You guys like that joke 30 times? Why write a new one? We have this one. My write. It's writing in my head. So we go to the, we see a nice covered bridge that's covered in graffiti. It's a covered covered bridge. And this is where I have the note, I thought I'd be loving th. this. this. this. this. th. th. th. the the the the the th. the the the the the th. the th. the the the the th. the the the the th. the the the the th. the th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. th. th. th. th. covered in graffiti. It's a covered-covered bridge. And this is where I have the note, I thought I'd be loving this movie more. Maybe I'm too sleepy. Oh, I wish you'd perk up because it is lovable. And then it's snowy again. That went away for a while. It's okay, yeah. Yeah, I think they that guy's yard, it's snowy at the mayors. It's snowy down by the river. It didn't work, yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:29:05 It's just like you couldn't wait or you, like you couldn't look at the weather forecast. It's winter in Maryland and apparently in like a fairly mountain. I mean like it's probably pretty similar to our climate. Yeah, you gotta look, that's what we got. I don't think that's true. No? You think there was like a, uh, Willard Scott back then? I guess it's not 78, right? It's 71. 72? Yeah, maybe, I don't know.
Starting point is 00:29:30 Tech hadn't dropped yet. They got it by 78. Hurricane Schwartz was all over that shit. Yeah, that's pretty funny. That's a dude from Philly. His name is Clint Hurricane Schwartz. I thought you just fucking made that up, and I was so proud of you. Oh, speaking of, RIP to a local Pittsburgh legend. Oh, I'd heard about this. Joe Denardo. I'm not familiar with him, but.
Starting point is 00:29:57 Joe said it would, that was his catch line. You can understand my confusion. Joe said it would. Is it because I talk super fast and constantly? But it doesn't make like Joe said it would? Rain, snow, be sunny. Oh, okay. Joe said it would. Joe said it would.
Starting point is 00:30:18 RIP Joe Denardo, you were a local great guy. Yeah, people liked you. A lot of, I saw a lot of love on the inner webs to him. I like all anytime anyone dies, we have to like, just get out there in front of it. No, I liked him too. I liked him. No, no, no, I liked to sold stuff. Okay, so they go up, so the Ben Zachary and the mayor, Burturn, the mayor, the mayor, to to go, to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to the to to the to the to to to to to to the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the to, the the to, to, to, to, the the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, to, to, to, to, I.. I. I. I. I. to to to to to to th.. th. th. the, the, the, the, the, the, thi. the. too. too. too. too. too. the too. too. the the too. too. the too. too. to the woods where it totally inappropriately dressed
Starting point is 00:30:46 for a walk in the snow. Everybody is Edey every time she goes outside it's inappropriate. Why are you bare-legged at Ede? It is snowing. This is the longest long shots that are going on. It's just like endless. Bert and Benjamin Zachary walking around the woods, looking off into the fucking middle distance with like tun-doh, tun-dinn-doh, da-dina-da, da, da, da, da, da, da, da, happening the whole time. And the music keeps climaxing? The scene does not.
Starting point is 00:31:10 No. No. Just have the known hiking, exclamation point. they-oak. Hiking! RV? This is the second RV. Yeah. Oh it's different. Yeah, yeah, the other one was a standy-upy one. Whatever. And I don't know if the music's even still going at that point. I don't think that it is when they find it. But I have the note Ben's hoarding for that noise. He is. He's undulating with the noise. Whoa. Whoa. It's gross. Can we do a little scene acting here? Sure.
Starting point is 00:31:45 Hey, Ben, it's me, Don Dola. I'm doing the movie. Uh, so when you're gonna be hearing a noise, you're not gonna really hear it. I don't have the money for the noise out here. What would it sound like? You know, like, oh yeah, baby. You know, no noises? You're like a fucking noises? Okay, I'm just, is it good with my pelvis? Like, if I do this? I mean, are you horny for the noise? I, yeah, slap me.
Starting point is 00:32:07 Oh, it's the 70s, we're method. And see. Okay. That was good. We made a movie. Can we talk about the alien wearing a fucking track suit? The fucking suit. I momentarily forgot about the thing. It's wearing a white, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, the the the white, the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the, the, the, the, the, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the, the. the. theat, theat, the the the theat, the the the the the the the the the thi, the the the the the, the the tea. It's wearing a tracks.
Starting point is 00:32:27 Why? And the white wig. A white, it is straight Halloween store. Frog mask with teeth. Goodwill track suit. Why? Why is it wearing a track suit? I'm asking this genuinely. I don't know. It shoots light in a bent mouth though.
Starting point is 00:32:44 Yeah. Forever, forever that scene goes on forever where he's reading the, it's like basically what's happening is the alien is giving him thoughts. They're going into his head. It's happening in real time. They're having a whole conversation silently and we are not privy to it. We are just watching this happen. And the mayor's like, shrugs? He's incredulous. Benjamin Jacker goes, the ship is gonna explode. Yeah, and they run away. And then there's like an explode.
Starting point is 00:33:15 It, the, Rob, goes, do you think they really shut off for an explosion? And then the screen just turns orange? No, they did not. Oh man. The next scene they're back in the sheriff's office. Why is Stephen there? What is Stephen doing there? He has no reason to be there. I think him an eatier an item. Ew. You can do better. Don't you think? Stephen is a real squirrelly. I assume Stephen was fucking Aunt Ruth. That's his aunt. I'm like I say aunt like you're from a wealthy aristocratic. Oh my aunt. My aunt. Not truth. He was saying Aunt Ruth so I will say Aunt Ruth.
Starting point is 00:34:01 Do you think that the mayor looked like Eric Warheim? Do you know who Eric Warheim is? No. Okay. Do you ever watch Tim and Eric Great Show? Yes. He's Eric. Oh, I guess so, yeah. I thought he had a flavor about him. Ben started spitting some ideas about stopping these aliens? That they're transporting zoological specimen. Why does he, what does non-thinking animal form mean? Because he says they're non-thinking animal forms and I don't think that's a thing you can say. Put your glasses back on, we're doing this movie. What's a thinking animal form? Glenn? Glenn is a thinking animal form, Glenn. Here's my example of thinking, Glenn.
Starting point is 00:34:45 Yeah, Glenn. He's just thinking about rubbing on you. Roll rubbing his race in Alan. Oh, so Ben's got a lot of knowledge about this stuff. Yeah, well, he says the alien told him. He says this, he has this very long monologue about it, and then he goes, and that's it. That's all I know. And th. And th. And th. And th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. thin. thi. thin is, thin is, th. th. th. th. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. then he goes, and that's it. That's all I know. And they're like, how are you gonna do anything about it? Bullets don't affect them. And he's like, I have special equipment.
Starting point is 00:35:11 And they're like, okay. And then he leaves and Edy goes, what's the special equipment? Fuck Eedy. I don't know, maybe be a journalist. I have a note that says. The way he said special equipment to Edie sounds like he was talking about his dick. Oh, that was definitely a dong reference. It was definitely a dong reference. And then when they're having this conversation after he leaves,
Starting point is 00:35:34 they're like, well, maybe he meant fire. And they were like, oh, yeah, I guess that could be. That could be one of the next scene, Edie's walking around the can of gasoline. And Stephen's like, what are you doing? And she's like, well, Pete said this would kill it. How the fuck would Pete know? Pete is a deputy who cannot stop smirking.
Starting point is 00:35:57 All of the actors in this movie are smirking at all times. It's true. Smirking and shrug. They cannot, they can't express anything without a shrug. Whelp! Whiop. I'm shrugging. Okay, I'm sorry, I just went off a little bit. This is my show and I will talk. Don't forget that the sheriff wants to evacuate the town and everyone else is like, why the fuck? Why the fuck wwe'll do that? their fugill-tah-t. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. thi. thi. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. thu. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. He's gonna fucking jeopardize the amusement project. The amusement project. How will they be amused? When we see Edie in the woods with big gasoline,
Starting point is 00:36:34 I thought she had a box of wine for her. I was like, Eedy fucking rolls right now. It was gasoline, it was gasoline. But so they just put the f f f f f f f f f f f f f f f f f f f f f f f f f f. The f. The f. The f. The f. The f. The f. The f. The f. The f. the f. the f. the f. the f. the f. the f. the f. the f. th. th. th. th. the fu. theufeufeufeufeufeufeufus. But it was gasoline, that was letdown. But so they just put the fate of the town in this man's hand. So, like, all right, well, we'll let you try this stranger with having spoken to the alien, do what you like. Wouldn't you though, if Benjamin's angry? I don't know?
Starting point is 00:37:01 He's the most convincing, I guess. Oh, man. My next note says, Stephen is useless. He's scared Edey. He sucks. They find the trash bag alien. Now we get a good look at. Okay, that is the creature from the black lady costume. It's shitty. But shitty.
Starting point is 00:37:19 Shitty. Like it got run over by a car and they found it in the trash and they were like, that'll do. So, Stevens got the can of gasoline and they're like, yeah, we need to dump it on him. What does Stephen do? This is why you have the note he's useless. Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah, I describe it. He throws the can of gasoline still sealed at the monster and runs away. Stevens like so bad. thinks it with a loud tho to to to to to to to to to to thuice the thuice the thuice the thuice the thuice thuice thuice the thu the thu thu the thu thu thu the thu the thu thu thu thu the thu thu the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the th th th thu thu thu thu thu thu thu. thu. thu. thu. thu. thu. thu. thu. thu. thu thu thu tean tean tean tean tean thu thu thu thu thu thu. thu. thu. thu. thu. thu. So eventually Benjamin Zachary shows up and shoots a, oh he shoots the hyperdermic needle into him, and hits it with the loud noises. He's got the speaker set up for the woods. I know the hypodermic needle is at the mayor's house. This is just the loud noises.
Starting point is 00:37:57 This is just loud, just loud. Sorry, you're right. He's got a boom box. Or a little PA, I guess. This is where the note the alien turns into Joe Cocker and then dies? Because he starts doing the Joe Cocker like shimmy dance and then falls to the crowd. Yes, we're our fans who didn't know who Creedence was. Yeah, y'all like Joe Cocker? Watch the Wonder Years, then you'll know.
Starting point is 00:38:23 What video? There's a video of John Belushi? Watch the video. Watch the Wonder Years, then you'll know. What video? There's a video of John Belushi. Which one's a dead one? Jim Belushi or John Belushi? John Belushi is a dead one. Jim Belushi is still sitcoming around, I think. John Belushi doing an impression of Joe Cocker singing.
Starting point is 00:38:41 Wow. And they're like trading versus. Wow. I got to watch that. That sounds very very tha tha tha tha tha. Wow, I gotta watch that. That sounds great. And also very out of touch. One? I'm sorry? Today's, today's life. I'm very hip. Sure.
Starting point is 00:38:54 Which Belushi is dead, he asks. I've got to be retro at some point. Ben yells at Stephen Edie. Yada, yada. We find that the screaming, Mary Jane Carter comes back for one scene to tell us, oh no she's back for several scenes, but she pops back in to tell us that the screaming, her screaming, and Susan screaming kept the monsters away from them. I completely missed that.
Starting point is 00:39:21 Did you? Yeah. I got it. I'm now wondering if I dozed. You might have. It's very short though. Oh man. I have one note left and I know there's a lot more moving. My last note says the snow is just mwaw. Chef kisses fingers. It is the icing on the shit of this cake. It's the shit icing on the shit cake. Du-doo boy cake. It's his doo-doo-doo-doo-doo-doo-doo-doo-doo-doo-de-f-f-f-f-f-f-f-f-f-f-f-f-f-f-f-f-s. It's th-s-s-s-s-so-so-so-so-so-so-so-so-so-so-it-it-it-it-it-it-s. It's th. It's tho' tho' tho' tho' tho' tho' tho' tho' tho' tho' tho' tho' tho' th. th. th. th. th. It's th. It's th. It's th. It's th. It's th-s. It's th-s. It's th-s. It's th-s. It's th-s. th-s. th-s. th-s-s. th-s. th-s. the. the. the. the the the tho' tho' tho' tho' tho' tho' tho' tho' thi this shit cake? It's the shit icing on the shit cake. Doodoo boy. Dood boy cake.
Starting point is 00:39:47 It's his doo-doo birthday. Someone in the movie said they'll be glad when it's over, to which I followed that with, you should try watching. Oh my god. Oh, my god. So, that we go to the mayor's the hairy joking monster is just walking around his yard. Stilting around his yard just bum, bob, bob. I loved his feet.
Starting point is 00:40:10 You loved his feet? Yeah, just like four toes that were tous that were touching the ground? Yeah, they were clawy, which in that point it was good that there was snow because it looked cool what they were sinking into the snow. Then they showed his face face the, what are those little monkey dolls called? Monty cheese? Munchie cheese. Yeah. But it got thrown into a pot of boiling water. So soft and cuddly.
Starting point is 00:40:32 Oh. It also looked like a rug came to life. Yeah. It also looked like. the today boy. If you thought Dudu boy boy was doo-doo boy. Oh man, this is the worst, right? This is the worst looking one. Ah, or is do-doo-boy the worst?
Starting point is 00:40:49 Doodoo boy's definitely worst. I have a strange love for the Harry Monster, because I was like, oh, it's like a Sesame Street puppet, man. I'm into this. He's on screen for a really long time. They did not know how bad he looked. And I don't think they ever found out. He fucks the mayor up. Oh yeah. The mayor is like clawed across the face. He just murders the mayor. Did you feel sad? I didn't. No. Peace out, man. You're never going to see that amusement project. Do you think the amusement project got built? I hope so. I hope so. Six flags over Baltimore. Oh Mary Jane finds finds the mayor. the mayor. the mayor. the mayor. the mayor. the mayor. She the mayor. She the mayor. She the mayor. She the mayor. She the mayor. She the mayor. She the mayor. She the mayor. She the mayor. She the mayor. She's the mayor. the mayor. the mayor. the mayor. the mayor. the mayor. the mayor the mayor. the mayor. He's the mayor. He's the mayor. He's the mayor. He's the mayor. He's the mayor the mayor the mayor the mayor the mayor the mayor the mayor the mayor the mayor the mayor. He the mayor. He the mayor. He the mayor. He the mayor. He the mayor. He the mayor. He the mayor. He the amusement project got built? I hope so. I hope so, too. Six flags over in Baltimore. Oh, Mary Jane finds the mayor.
Starting point is 00:41:27 Well, wouldn't she? She comes back. Everyone has to stop by the mayor's house to tell him something. Because phones don't exist, even though the sheriff is always goddam. That's all he does. If he had a secretary, he could th. be outworking. It's fucking Pete's never gave up. I honestly. Uh, the monster. Well, sheriff.
Starting point is 00:41:47 That's Pete. Wow, sheriff! Is that good? It's dangerously close to also your dot-nots. It's pretty good. I don't know what you can. I have the note that the monster's cute. Yeah. Just a twisted munchie-chee. Now I'm going to look at munchie-chee's while we finish this.
Starting point is 00:42:07 Monsters hate horns, impervious to bullets. They showed the chest of the monster, and he's got like 10 abs. Yeah, he had more abs than would ever be anatomically necessary. So this is the hyperdemic gun. Yeah. Zachary shoots him with. With a gun that shoots anything he wants he says and he said for this time he loaded it with a hypodermic needle. Earlier I had Game Boy cartridges in there and last time it was nerds. Just shooting him right into his mouth. I had the note I kind of hate Ben. He's a know-it-all.
Starting point is 00:42:45 Oh, I like him. It's revealed why he's a know-it-all. Sure. So he got the poison out of the one alien to kill another alien. Oh yeah, that was clever. Yeah, Ben knows what he's doing. Yeah. As you all would have guessed by now, the observatory has never heard of Ben Zachary. The sheriff had a hunch. He was right. That's what he was doing on that phone.
Starting point is 00:43:05 So they go back to the woods, they're hunting the final alien. Which one is the final alien? Or is this the creature from the Black Lagoon costume? I don't even remember. Was there a third one? There's definitely a third one. Oh, there's it's the light. Oh, yes. No, no, no. This is the paper. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the the the the the the the. the. the. the the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the final. the final. the final. the final. the final. the final. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the light and oh yes yes no no no this is the the paper mishay see through guy what's the claymation dog I think this is all the budget yeah I mean well it's pretty cool the fight isn't cool but it's the effect of it being on screen is cool it's like a sluggie man yeah green yeah translucent and it's fighting Benjamin Zachary and it's hard to tell itucent, and it's fighting Benjamin Zachary. And it's hard to tell it. Sometimes it looks like it's just rubbing his tumbtum. I mean...
Starting point is 00:43:52 So, I have the notes. Here's my notes. How did he kill it? What just happened? Is Zachary dead? Because there's just like some shit that goes down? They dance. It's like a weird dance sequence a weird dance sequence and then they're both dead seemingly. So then Ede goes a walking and she comes upon do do shit boy. Yeah. Who then explains in Benjamin Zachary's voice that he was Benjamin Zachary the whole time. I like that that alien was like I need a name I need a name Benjamin Zachary's voice. That he was Benjamin Zachary the whole time. I like that that alien was like, I need a name. I need a name.
Starting point is 00:44:26 Benjamin Zachary. He explains that one of the monsters was called a limoid. Only one of them gets a name. The others are non-thinking alien forms. It's true. He, okay. So he was friends with the track suit alien. They're the same aliens.
Starting point is 00:44:48 Right. And even though he wasn't a doo-doo boy. And they were moving the non-thinking animal forms as zoological specimens from one planet to another. No, that's all I had. And then they crashed on Earth. Yeah. Very critters-like. Yeah. And then, uh, he's all I had. And then they crashed on earth. Very critters-like.
Starting point is 00:45:06 Yeah. And then he's a shit boy. Yep. And then the sheriff comes out and finally the sheriff leaves his office. This is the one fucking thing he does, and he does it badly. He kills Benjamin Zuckery. Do you think Benjamin Zachary was bummed that everybody else was impervious to bullets? Yeah, yeah I do.
Starting point is 00:45:29 Edie's like, no it was Benjamin Zachary. He saved me. Oh man. And that's it. The credits fucking roll. Yeah. Yeah. Mm-hmm.
Starting point is 00:45:40 I fast forward to see if there's to be post credits. There's not. Kitty. Yeah. You you you you you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you want, you want, you want, you want, you want, you want, you want, you want, you want, you want to th. th. th. to to to to to to to to to to to to to th. to th. th. to to to th. to th. to th. to th. to th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. there's to be post credits. There's not. There's not. Kitty. Yeah. You, uh, you won't rate this fucker? Well, Sheriff. This movie is so fun. It is so silly. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:45:56 It's fucking terrible. Oh, yeah. But like, man, they thought they were making a good movie. They were trying. They were th, th, th th, th th th th, th th, th, th, th, th, the thoe. tho. tho. tho. tho. tho. tho. tho. tho. the. that was tho, tho, tho, thate. the. tho, tho, tho, tho, tho, tho, tho, thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. the. tho, tho. tho. the. the. the. th. th. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. thea. thea. thea. thea. thea. thea. thea. thea. thea. thea. thea. thea were making a good movie. They were trying. They were putting everything they had into this. All 3,500 bucks. And I know, that was one of those kids playing the balls college fund. You know that, right? Like, that kid did not go to school.
Starting point is 00:46:13 Little Benjamin or Zachary did not go to school. No, nope. No, probably this is hard because it's a... This movie's a goddamn delight. Yeah. It's absolutely delightful. It's God Monsterian. It's wretched. So again, in these situations, I feel like you can't give them... I feel like, much like God Monster? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:46:37 There's no number that does it justice. So my rating for this movie is a sealed can of gasoline being thrown at an alien. That's my rating. It's a pretty good rating. Thank you. I forgot that my last note was Edie yelling about being confused and me saying you're just now confused. Yeah, yeah, Edy. This was a very fun and then very sloggy and then very fun again
Starting point is 00:47:05 This movie gets points for introducing me to Atlantis. Yeah I'm gonna go with your style of and give this Seven do-do boys. Is that good? He's that bad. Nobody knows One of them is wearing jeans. Why is he wearing jeans? Are they space jeans? I mean, the other one's wearing a tracksoo, they must have just been shopping. Before we go pick those aliens up, you want to run down to Kmart and get some clothes. I mean, they're do-do-dicks out in the wind.
Starting point is 00:47:38 Oh, they're special instruments. Oh, my dad. Oh, thi! It was the exorcist episode, FYI. The exorcist episode. I don't even think that one was that funny. I just was good. I didn't think it was the exorcist episode, FYI. It was the one? Starting point is 00:53:00 This is a listener suggestion, yeah. To whom do we owe the pleasure? We're staying with a medical theme. At Dr. H. Bus. Hunter, we've talked about Hunter before. Oh, yeah, we have. They suggested tremors, along with a ton of other movies. Thank you so much for those. So we're doing drummers. We're doing drummers. I fucking hate it. We're gonna get to talk about Kevin Bacon
Starting point is 00:53:29 again. I was not to say Kevin Costner. That was my that was my David Caruso David Cassidy problem. It's definitely not Costner. No. I wonder if you ever did a horror movie. Anyway doubt it. Yeah seems too jovial, jovial. Yeah. Tin cup of blood. Field of nightmares. You didn't go for field of screams. Fuck me. I'm done. I'm out. The jokes have been made. Okay. We're gonna do tremors. Field of screams so good. I hate myself and I love you. I think that is a local, uh, haunted arouse amusement. Yeah. Not going to that. You, you like haunted houses. I'm all right with. I'm. You. You. You. You. You. I. You. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the th. You didn't the the the th. I'm alright with them.
Starting point is 00:54:09 I'm not doing that. Oh, that's too real. I told you about the house of Frankenstein thing that I went to, that I was like, wanted to die and live in. The house, the floor so everybody there's got like flip-flops onto the air hit you on your feet and I was like, I'm ah. Where is this?
Starting point is 00:54:31 Why don't you give this place a plug? It's in Lake George, New York. There's also one in Niagara Falls. There's also one in Niagara Falls, in a wax museum, the, the, th, th, the, th, th, the, th, the, th, th, the, th, the, th, the, tho, the, tho, the, tho, tho, to, and, and, to, and, to, to, and, the, the, to, the, the, the, to, to, the, to, to, to, tooom, tooom, too, to, to, to, to, to, to, flip, to, flip, to, to, flip, to, to, to, to, to, to, the, the, is, is, is, is, is, is, and, is, is, is, and, and, and, the, is, the, and, the, the, the, the, theyoploploploplops, the, the, they.e.e.e.e.e.e. their. their. their, flip, Falls but it was like a wax museum of criminals and they had like the Unabomber and and Domer in a cell together? It might be the same thing. Well I've been there. Because the one on the one in Lake George had like a here's a real hanging, here's an execution here's like it didn't have any I think Jack the Ripper was the only like real murderer but like there's definitely like a Lizzie Borden. Oh yeah that's probably the same same chain. That's funny. But I remember being like why are Dahmer and Unabomber sharing a cell? It's just like you couldn't get another room guys? They're like where we put them? Put them with the Unabomber? Do you think the unibomber is like?
