Starting point is 00:00:00 Keeh. Alan. We left a cliffhanger from last week's episode of werewolf ambulance. It was that you lied to me about dog soldiers. What did I lie about? You fucking don't think it was a comedy? It is a comedy. It is not a comedy.
Starting point is 00:00:21 It is clearly not a comedy. Oh, I think it's real funny. I think you're a sick person in your head and I think you have mental problems. It's. It. It. It is. It is. It is. It is. It is. It is. It is. It is. It is. It is. It is. It is. It is not a comedy. Oh, I think it's real funny. I think you're a sick person in your head, and I think you have mental problems. What about the spoon joke? I didn't even get it. What is it? It's a Matrix reference.
Starting point is 00:00:34 Oh, I don't, I've never seen the Matrix. Wait, what year was this movie made? Two thousand and two. 2002. I thought it was like 1993. It looks so bad. I rented an SD to be fair, but oh, sure, yeah. The DVD that I own of it is probably worse quality than the SD. I really thought it was like 1993. Oh, 2002. And also Davos looks so young, the guy from Green the Thrones. Oh yeah, yeah, yeah. He looks so young and so made up. Yeah, he looks like an Instagram filter. He looks like he airbrushed himself. I fucking hate those Instagram filters. I'm so creepy.
Starting point is 00:01:09 They're so creepy and it's just like, listen, bitches, we all have wrinkles, okay? Like, get the fuck over yourselves. I just hate this, I hate, there's something that's really weating me out about my peers, taking pictures of them doing all these like aspirational things, and then like photoshopping themselves to look like they're 15, even though you're like 35 and to really be worried about other things, like with all the strife in the world and all the horrors of the world. Oh, forget it, I'm going off from my thing. But what if I have, you know, dough eyes? Doe eyes. Just do eyes. What if you just blow, make your eyebrows? What if you just put on the smoky eye filter and just look so hot?
Starting point is 00:01:47 Just like, oh my god, your brawl game is so strong. Are they still on flea? Is that a thing that we're still doing? No, that's well over. It's well over. I lied about this being a comedy. Yeah. Yeah. It's not. thhehea. th. th. thi. th. th. thi. th. th. thi. th. th. th. thi. th. th. th. thi. thi. th. th. thi. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. thi. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. the. the. the. the. the. the. to to to to to toda. to to toda. toda. the. tho. the. the dog, it opens on the shooting the dog, not fucking comp- I was so mad at you. I was like, I'm gonna watch a British comedy. No, it's not fucking funny. I didn't sell it as big faulty towers.
Starting point is 00:02:12 Well, that's a comedy. It is. I don't know what you think this is. Uh, it does have Tommy from Trainspotting at it. True. Yeah. Uh-huh. I, OK, a few problems I have with this movie. Yeah. I'm not very into military exercises. I didn't think you would be. I'm not very into action movies.
Starting point is 00:02:32 OK. And I couldn't tell any of them apart. Well, once you get away is Sean Pertwey. Okay, I know them. And I know Davos. Yeah. Everybody else is just like a bald-headed white guy, which is interesting because... Yes, and the subtitles were often wrong. My DVD is so booty. It's so like, it might be a blue leg that I have. You stole this movie is what you're saying. Yes, I ran to Scotland and stole it. It doesn't have subtitles.
Starting point is 00:03:12 Oh wow, so you were just guessing. Yeah, but I've seen this movie endrappes. Yeah, but I've seen this movie enough that like, I got the basic gist of what's going on. See, okay, so here so here, so here, so here, so here, so here, so here, so here, so you, so you, so you, so you, so you, so you, so you, so you, so you, so you, so you, so you, so you, so you th, so you th, so you th, so you th, so you're th, so you're th, so you're thi, so you thi, so you're th th th thi, so you're thi, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so it was a comedy. Yeah, I think it's real funny. That's weird. That's weird. So another interesting thing is that a lot of the reviews on like IMDB talk about how this movie goes out of its way to make you care about the characters. And I was like, I do not fucking know the characters.
Starting point is 00:03:36 Hmm. There's like the guy who likes football, but is he spoon? Is he Terry? Is he Bruce? They bring up Bruce like halfway through this movie and I was like, have I met Bruce? Do I know Bruce? Bruce dies very early on. Which is, I don't even talk me, I don't care. I feel like the whole situation with the dog at the beginning is a very emotional situation that like endeers me to, I'm just going to call him Tommy. Sure. Because he doesn't want to to and like it makes him a human fucking being. Absolutely. And it makes you really hate Davos.
Starting point is 00:04:06 Oh yeah. Because he was going to kill that dog. And then he does kill that dog. That and his tiny, tiny eyebrows. His eyebrows are so tiny. I like that though. It looks like a weirdly attractive. So you're into like Vulcans. I don't know. I gotta think about it. Do they like tremors? This movie was suggested by listener Dakota.
Starting point is 00:04:28 I think Dakota probably loves this movie. Yeah. You like this movie. I do. Oh you dummies. You dumbedums, as it were. I'm beginning to get a sense that you don't. Do you know who directed this movie? Neil Marshall. Yeah, of the descent fame. Yeah. I love that movie. I know. He's on a lot of other stuff, right? A few other movies. He did a movie called Doomsday that I really love, that I can understand why someone else would completely hate. Yeah. Yeah. Because it's him doing Escape from New York, Mad Max and a little bit of a Lord of the Rings. Yeah? And he's just got a little the little the little to a little to a little the little the little to a little to the little the little the little the little the little the little the little to the the the the to the the the the the the the the to the the to the the the the the th. He. He's a lot. He's a lot. He's a lot to to to to to to to the the the to to the to the to the to the to the th. He. He. He. He. He. He. He. He. He. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. He. He. He. He. He. He. He's a th. He's a lot. He's a lot. He's a th. He's a lot. He's a lot. He's a th. He's a lot. He's a lot. He's th. He's the th. He's the the th. He's to the to to to to to the to th. He's to th. all of them together? Yeah. I guess that's his thing. He like smooches genres together, or smooches films together to make a new movie. What was this a smooge of? This is like your, well, the DVD that I have has like, is like, it's Jaws meets aliens.
Starting point is 00:05:17 Sirs. I think you could break it down though, because Davos is, have you seen aliens? Uh, no. I think I've seen of it. You know what I mean? You know that it exists? I mean, I've seen all the parts, but maybe not in the right order. So Paul Riser's character?
Starting point is 00:05:37 Spoiler Riser's and aliens? I guess I haven't, I fucking love Paul Riser? I read his book Couplehood. There's no way I could have expected to react to Paul Riser. How you feel about Helen Hunt? Cute, she's cute. And then I read his book Babyhood before I had the baby. Okay. Polarizer is very funny and very time. He's good. Wood. His character is trying to bring one of the aliens back to earth. Okay. So that his company that he works for can basically make it a ta ta ta ta ta ta ta ta ta ta ta ta ta ta to the to their to their to their to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to the to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to th. How th. How th. How th. How th. How th. How th. How th. How th. How th. How the. How the. How the. How the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. thea. thea. thea. thea. Howea thea the. How you feel feel feel of the aliens back to earth, bring one of the xenomorphs back to earth. Okay. So that his company that he works for can basically make it a tactical weapon for the military.
Starting point is 00:06:09 Okay. And that's what Davos is doing. It's true. Predator, I think it's pretty obvious. Like you drop a bunch of like Weathers in this movie. No. Just flexing. I can't believe you didn't see his arm get shot off.
Starting point is 00:06:30 Oh yeah, I think I fell asleep. You didn't just didn't rewind the movie. I love you so much. I really do. If I find that's so endearing that you're like, I'm not going back. You can only go forward, you can't look back. That's what I like to tell people. Wait, I have a question. What's Alien 3 about? Because maybe that's the one I've seen of.
Starting point is 00:06:50 Alien 3 is the one on the prison planet. I think I've seen that. It's directed by a French director who's the dog alien that like, and you're doing like dog alien point of view, is it just running up the walls and tunnels and stuff? This sounds familiar. Yeah, yeah. Maybe I need to just watch all of the alien franchise. Ah, I would, that's it would be a good. That's as far as I've gone with the,
Starting point is 00:07:13 oh, no. Oh, I saw the new one in the theater. Covenant? No. The one with Eastbound a down in it? No. Oh Covenant, or you probably saw Prometheus then in the theater. What was before Prometheus? Um, aliens four? No. I'll look it up. Yeah, call Jason McHidrick. He knows all this stuff. No, that wasn't Prometheus I saw in the the theater. Okay. I just got real mad at you about that. Oh yeah, I saw Covenant. Oh, you fucking idiot. I wasn't Prometheus. You dumbed them. I saw Comethea. So I just watched it on the TV. Ah, I'm sorry. I'm sorry for your loss of time. You know what? You know what? It's got people that I love at it. You know my love of Ezer Selba. Oh yeah.
Starting point is 00:08:05 So beautiful. Just like he was dead. He's not dead. No, no, I'm just blowing it into ether and hope that he fell a little kiss on his cheek. Yeah. He's like, oh, he's like, oh. Have you ever watched Luther? Yeah. There's a point where like, suze. I'm Susie and the Banshys and goes, huh, they're actually post-punk? And it makes me so fucking happy. Just because you such a bone dog.
Starting point is 00:08:26 But tell me about Jaws. Hope this is also Jaws. That's the one that, like, there's no mayor saying we got to keep the forest open. There's no like, yeah have the howling on it though? Like it should totally have the howling. This movie should be called the bowling because it is... The bad howling?
Starting point is 00:08:50 The bad howling? I think I just came into it being like, oh, this is a werewolf comedy. It is not... Maybe, I should not have sold the comedy aspects of it so hard. Also I thought hot fuzz was horror movies so what the fuck do I know about anything? It's British people they confuse you. They're all funny. You can't tell if they're being serious or not. This movie also has the scene where they are still, they're in the woods but they're still doing like the tactical the training they had gone they had the they had they had the they had their they had they had their they had they had their they had their they had they had their they had their they had their they had their their their they had their they had their they had their their their they. their they're their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their thea thea. thea. thea. thea. thea. thea. thea. thea. thea. thea. they're they're their their their they're training that they had gone out to do. It's cutting really fast.
Starting point is 00:09:25 I hate that. I have to say I hate that. It makes me feel like, oh my god, I don't want to look at this with my eyes. You know what I mean? You have to look at it with your heart. I don't want to do that either. I thought thatent is. We start off, we have to mention the tent scene with a young couple making out after... His
Starting point is 00:09:51 teeth are so British. They are so British. This couple's making out and earlier the lady had given her partner a silver letter opener for getting a new promotion or new job or something. You mean to tell me those people weren't straight out of 1993? That is shocking. It's not like he was wearing a flattel around his waist t-t- I think she was. But that letter opener will come back later on in the movie. I forgot about it entirely until it did. And then I was like, oh, like oh I love the scene where like he's unzipping her ski pants yeah and like don't don't camp when it's that cold no and if it is don't take him off it's true also just the laying down in ski pants just seems so weird yeah your butt would be it's like a wedgie waiting to happen I feel
Starting point is 00:10:39 but I love the thing of like him unipping her pants and then like it stops because zippers stop. Unless you have one of those all the way around zippers, but she didn't. And then like them both just following the sound of the zipper as someone's unzipping their tent. It's really scary. And I also like that she didn't scream. Oh you like that? When she's like, no, no, no. And then she gets ripped the fucking half. She does. That's when I was like, this isn't Alan. Like, what are you talking about this being a comedy? I should have said it has comedic elements.
Starting point is 00:11:13 That's, yeah, maybe. I sold you a bill of goods. I apologize. I shouldn't have bought it. It was up to me. I like that in the beginning the beginning the beginning the beginning the beginning the beginning the beginning th th th th th th th thing thi thi thi to me. I like that in the beginning, they're very into telling you when things are happening. Oh yeah, but it doesn't matter, does it? I was like, wait, was this before or after that?
Starting point is 00:11:30 But it doesn't, none of it matters. I think the only thing that matters is like, after the second scene that we see where there's the shooting of the dog. so that you know it's definitely a full moon again. But like the whole like two hours earlier, like, Wednesday at 115, like that it doesn't matter. And it doesn't do it again after the first five minutes of movie. You're just in that, that universe at that point, your present day, I guess. I wish at some point they would have just been like, five minutes later. Yeah, had this been a comedy, they may have done that. I th, no. No. No. No. So, th, th, th, th. So, th. So, th. So, th. So, th. So, th. that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, th. that, that, that, that, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, yeah. Yeah, yeah. Yeah, yeah. Yeah, yeah. th. that, that's. that's a that's a that's a that's a that's, that's, that's, that's, that's, th. Oh, that's a. th. have done that. I agree. So we, yeah, we're dropped in with this group on a training exercise. I did like that they referenced England v. Germany
Starting point is 00:12:11 in 2002 when England won 5. to the today. England got kicked out of the cup today. I saw that. Yeah, I'm sorry. Go Croatia. Go Croatia. Second smallest country to ever go to the final. Who's number one? Aha! Sports facts! What's the smallest country to ever go to the World Cup final? Uruguay. Also, fuck Luis Suarez. Don't fucking bite people. Oh, that was years ago. He's been doing it for years. He's done it like three times. Yeah. That's hilarious.
Starting point is 00:12:49 Yeah. Yeah. So. Yeah, that is a recurring theme. This match, I guess that's a funny. He keeps saying the things are totally bone also. It's like's thrown later on, she's like, what does bone mean? And he's like, like, bad. Yeah, like from the context clues, a doctor, scientist, Maggie, Maggie?
Starting point is 00:13:10 Megan. That's what I said. Um, I have a note I can't put on subtitles with an exclamation point. I'm just like, well, I'm missing so much of everything, thi thi Help! Help! Sean Pertwee is the son of a Doctor Who. I've never seen a Doctor Who either. I'm missing so much of everything, aren't I? I'm really, I'm actually a legit surprise you've never seen a Doctor. I feel like it's a thing I could get into. Oh yeah, 100%.
Starting point is 00:13:37 It's just, it's one of the, that's one of the things that's overwhelming, like, where do you begin? You can start with the David Tenet run. That'll probably be fine. Okay. And that's a good thing that you can put on and be like, I'm going to think about cucumbers for a while. Oh, really? It's not. Okay. You don't have to play super close attention to it. But here's my question.
Starting point is 00:13:54 Go. What have I been knew then. Living life? No. You've done a lot of stuff that I've never done. Like what? You have a baby. I've never done that. Yeah, I have birthed a child. I was not watching television during that. I was not watching television during that. Could have started Doctor Who then? I could have. I had planned actually to watch the golden girls while I was laboring because I thoub. It was like, I was like, I was like, I was like, I was like, I was like, I was like, I was like, I was like, I was like, I was like, I was like like, I was like, like like like, like, like, like, like, like, like, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to the the the the the th, th, th, th, th, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, the to, the the thi, Probably not. I had planned actually to watch the Golden Girls while I was laboring because I thought it would be like, keep my mind off it. Yeah. It was not possible. Fucking blanche. She would have taken it away for you. I would have just punched them right into the, into the ether.
Starting point is 00:14:35 Clocked them. I love this clockthey're immediately telling spooky stories to each other. Okay, I missed the point of the Sargis story about the tattoo. Oh, that the devil was going to save his skin, and it did, but just where the devil was. Okay. Is that foreshadowing? I don't think so. It's not that good of a story. No, I feel like it ended and I was like, not sure I got the point of that. But I like the next guy's like, all
Starting point is 00:15:10 all right, I got a funny joke. Let me start telling that joke and then a fucking cow flies down in the middle of them. Yeah. I what I say, when it's Miller Time from Big Trouble in Little China. It's my one question I'm going to ask John Carpenter if I ever meet him. Really? What do you think you guys an answer? I hope so? God, I hope so. Are you thinking about what that answer?
Starting point is 00:15:34 Can I have a Miller? Can you just send him an email? I'm Carpenter at Carpenter.com. Carpenter Productions. So many words. So many letters. It's probably dot net, really. Dot Angel Fire. Whenever our Angel Fire is still up. Remember we were sending people to an Angel Fire a couple years ago? I'm gonna look for it.
Starting point is 00:15:55 Last time you went to it, you said, do you think it gave you a virus? Yeah. And spider women. And spider women. I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I that. I that. I that. I that. I that. I that. I that. I that. I that. I that. I that. I that. I that. I that that that that that that that that that that that that n n na. It's. It's that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that na. It's afraid of, he's spiders. And women. Yeah. And spider women. And spider women. I guess that's funny. Oh, it's still there.
Starting point is 00:16:11 It's, I forgot I had this under construction digging guys. And also the Stephen King rules Brian from wings picture. We should really make that into a cusy. Yeah. So yeah, a giant, like really shit-aily constructed cow falls-a, th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th-a, th-a, th-a, th-a, th-a, th-a, th-a, th-a, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, th. It does look like real shit. And the sergeant is like, we've got to figure out what happened. So the next day they go hunting the cow. And they're just like stabbing steaks off the ground, just like cuts of, I understand that it's a cow, but they're just like fulayed cuts of beef. I've been vegetarian for like the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the. the. thea. theathea. theathea. It's the. It's the. It's theatatatres. It's the. It's the. It's the. It's the. It's the. It's the. It's the. It's the. It's th. It's th. It's the. It's the. It's the. I's the. I's the. I's the. I's the. I's the. I's the. I's the. I's the. I's the. I's the. I's the. I's the. I's like, t. I's just just just just like, t. I's like, tea. I's like, tea. I'm just just just like, tea. I'm tea. I'm just just just, I'm t. I'm t. I'm that it's a cow, but they're just like filleted. No, I've been vegetarian for like 20 years.
Starting point is 00:16:47 Wow. You just like take the leather off the cow and the meats are right in there, right? That's my understanding. As a person who eats meat, I also butcher animals, so I have a knowledge of this guy? Guy? I don't. I don't know. No, I have no idea. Yeah, the meat chunk was weird. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:17:06 They literally just opened a package of sirloin, like the family size package I bet because it was cheaper, dumped it on the ground and they were like, pick that up. That's cow. Do you think they were like, hey Rick, we're going to like cow guts and he comes back and he's like, this is all I could find the to th.. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. th. th. thi. thi. thi. th. the th. the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the th. th. the th. th. the thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. ti. toge. toge. toge. toge. toge. toge. toge. toge. the. the. the. th fight at the supermarket. Yeah, I went to Kroger and... Because they don't have... I went to Tesco and the guy, yeah. So they see a flare, they go to the campsite of this other squad that's out there. This is the real army, right? Yeah. Okay. This is like special forces. So they're like, this is like, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. the. th. the. th. the. thi. the. the. th. th. I th. I don't know if our boys are, but it seems like they might be real army Because like Sarge definitely is because he was in the shit and Kuwait and stuff right right
Starting point is 00:17:49 And that would that would have been like 10 years prior to this movie okay, so when they get to the cap there's blood dripping on everything. Yeah, everything is covered in gore and there's just shit's all smashed up. Yeah, all smashed up And that's where they find Davos We hate Davos. Yeah, he killed him dog. Yeah, he's real shitty. I love Davos in Game of Thrones He's probably my favorite character. I haven't missed the last couple seasons. Yeah, me too. Yeah, me too. Yeah, me too. So he's real fucked up. He got his testile ripped apart. He doesn't look like he's gonna make. the the the the the the the the the the their their their their. Yeah. their. their. he. he. their. he. he. he. he's he's he's he's he's he's he's he's he's he's he's he. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah, he's he's t. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. He's. Yeah. He's. He's. He's. He's. He's. He's. He's. He's. He's. He's. t. t. He's. t. He's. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. his chest tile ripped apart. He doesn't look like he's going to make it. No. But they drag him along anyway. Which, okay. I guess that's an army thing. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:18:31 And while they're running, they hear growling in the woods? Right. And so the one guy is on like rear point. This is Bruce who the first time we see the werewolf creatures. I was sort of in silhouette. You don't see what their features look like. They're just bipedal wearing gemwigs at this point. Truly outrageous? Yes. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:18:58 This is where I have the note, shit, I'm gonna go get some ice cream. Oh, it's a cherry. It's good. What do you go there? I think Brunton Dairy? That sounds good. Yeah, it was real nice. Nice.
Starting point is 00:19:11 Very hard. You've been to Antneys. I've been hearing a lot of good things about anties. I'm a little, I'm not so into soft serve as opposed to ice. You know my heart lays with the pages stairwell. Yeah. When they were out that camp, they were like tranquilizer darts and nets and shit. And they were confused. Oh yeah. Oh yeah. But Davos won't tell them anything because he's a dildo.
Starting point is 00:19:33 It's been real dildo. I think he just is a dildo. No, he's even being a dildo. Whatever. It's very Buddhist of him. We all are what we are, right? Then they end up at this house. I don't remember how. So they're running down a hillside, being chased by these things, the werewolves. And Megan pulls up and she's like, get in! Oh, right, right. And she's like, my hair is just so perfect. Yeah. It's 1993. It's 2002. She's an opera singer by trade, th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. thii. tha. tha. too'er. tha. th. th. thi. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. they. they. they're they're they're they're th. th. opera singer by trade.
Starting point is 00:20:05 Oh yeah, that's cool. I don't know why I know that. Probably the internet. Probably the internet. I like that when we see the werewolf staring at them, it goes to black and white. Because dogs see and black and white. Is that true? I thought that was Nerman legend. That's what I'd always heard. Yeah. How would the thethat? Because they would have the cones in their eyes.
Starting point is 00:20:26 Ice cream cones? They went to pages. I have the note very exciting at this point. Ooh, very exciting, says the man watching this movie. And there's a glance exchange between Davos and Megan. That you're like, oh, these two know each other. Oh, I miss that. Mm-hmm.
Starting point is 00:20:51 That's interesting. It's because they both bad guys. Yeah. Spoilish for this movie. They go into the house, and as you can expect the house, the fire is still set, the table. The house does she say it is? Just this family that she knows from the valley.
Starting point is 00:21:07 She lives on the other side of the hill she claims. And there's this nice family that lives there. And she's surprised that they just break in and start eating all the food. This movie also uses the cat jumping. It's a dog. It's just, okay. Because dogs, see? Oh, that dog is goddame adorable. What do you, oh Sam, that dog's name is Sam. Yeah. What would you name that dog? I don't know, Skippy.
Starting point is 00:21:31 Skippy scribbles. Skippy scribbles. That's good. That's a real bad job that they did as English Special Forces. You know what I'm saying? That's a real bad job. They're real bad at blowing up every time they blow it up until they're not, until they're real good at it. I don't understand their skill set.
Starting point is 00:21:59 I love that the sergeant gets his guts ripped open. A lot of sausages in this movie. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. thozy. th. thoom. thoom. thoom. thoom. thoom. thoom? That's thoom. thoom. thoomb, thoomb, thoome. That's tho. That's tho. That's tho. That's tho. That's th. That's th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. thi. thi. It's the. It's a toa. It's a toa. toa. toa. toa. toa. toea. toea. toea. thea. thea. thea. Lot of sausages in this movie. Yeah, hot dogs are on the outside. Yeah. And then they just like mush them back in. So I found out a thing about the super glue. Where they're like, super glue was used in Vietnam to seal people's wounds up. It turns out that's like partially true.
Starting point is 00:22:20 Like they tried to market it as that. But while the superglue is forming the bond, it heats up, so it can actually burn your skin. Gross. Yeah, so I don't know if you've ever gotten super glue on your finger and it's gotten like hot and burny, but it can do that. And so it's probably not the best thing to stick in your wounds. There is a medical-grade version of it, I once cut off the tip of my finger and then like a day later asked if I should get stitches,
Starting point is 00:22:45 which at which point it's too late. Yeah. But I remember people saying like, oh, just super glue it and I was like, I just put a bandaid on that. I guess I'm neospor. I have super glued cuts before. Yeah. It's not the best. It's. It's. It's. It's. I. I. I. I. It's. It's. It's. It's. It's. It's. It's. It's. It's. It's. It's. It's. It's. It's. It's. It's. It's. It's. It's. to. to. to. to. th. to. to. It's. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. It. It. It. It. It. It. It. It. It. It. It. It. It. It. It. It. It. It. It. It. It. It. It. It. It. It. It. It. It. It. It. It. It's. It's. It's. It's. It's. It's. It's. It's. It's. It's t t t t t t t t t t t t t t t t t t t t t t t t t t t t t t t t t t th th the. I just put duct tape on that. Sure. And no need to go to the doctor ever.
Starting point is 00:23:05 Oh God, why would you? No, I mean ask Jim Henson. Whenever people say they're not going to the doctor, that's what I, I just tell them that Jim Henson would still be with us, probably, maybe. And same with the HP Lutgraf. Yeah, except he'd be be be be be be be like when the when Davos gets puked on his head? Yeah, that's a good barf. That's a real good barf. It's so chunky. Yeah. I like when the dog is tugging at Sarge's bandages. That's dogs are gross. I found that I thought he had his sausages in his mousages in his mouth at first and I was like, oh get those sausages tho sa sausages out out out out out out out out out out out out out out out out out out out out out out out out out thages thus s sausages. I thus s sausages. I thus th get those sausages out of that dog's not that as an infection. That's your inside sausages. Yeah, you've got to keep those on the inside.
Starting point is 00:23:48 But if you're a dog, that's got to be the most exciting thing you can get. Oh my god, free-range sausages? It's like sausages. It's like sausages in their natural habitat. I mean, so there's like a note that I want to see whether or not you'll agree with me and I have a feeling no will be the answer. I really enjoy Neil Marshall's dialogue. I like the way the people interacted in this movie. I thought it was good. Okay. Why do you think I wouldn't?
Starting point is 00:24:16 I don't know. Bollocks. Spongue notes? Oh wait'm sorry, I slipped into Paul Hollywood. Your hair got real, weird, gray and spiky. It's just so sharp. It's just so sharp. And the always turned up cuff, always got to have that cuff, that just one-fold to your cuff on your shirt. Yeah. Should I start doing that?
Starting point is 00:24:41 You know when you're wearing your buttoned-down shirts. I wear flannels. But yeah, like, just like in the dissent, like, I think he writes like dialogue between people who like each other really well. Right, it feels like relationships. Yeah. Just have the note, dirty fucker. There's, I mean, that's a line that was definitely in this movie. I like when they're trying they're they're they're the trying their trying their trying their trying their trying their trying their their try. I their try. I try. I th. I th. I th. I thi. I thi. I thi. I thi. I thi. I thi. I thi. I thi. I thi. I thi. I thi. I thi. I thi. I thi. I thi. I thi. I thi. I thi. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. Just like like like like like like like like like like like like like like like like like thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. I thi. I thi. I thi. I thi. I to seal up his tummy. That's what I want to call it now. And Sarge just starts screaming for him to knock him out. Yeah, and then he does. Just punches him right and just clocks him.
Starting point is 00:25:11 Yeah, and then they're going around looking for weapons and stuff around the house. I feel like that's most of the movie. Just finding weapons. Yeah, and then of this movie. I was like, I've been watching this for days. It's long, too. This movie's long. Yeah, hour and 45 minutes.
Starting point is 00:25:29 It feels long. Yeah. And the plot, there's not much to the plot. No, it's all revealed in the first act and the first act. Yeah, the second, p-pr. But it's sort of a home invasion movie, too? They're like, hold up in a house and the monsters are trying to get in. I guess. It's more of a zombie movie in that sense than a home invasion movie, I would say. Because they're just boarding all the doors and windows.
Starting point is 00:25:54 What did you? What did you? look shitty when they showed them in the light I thought they looked good yeah what about you I love them yeah I would definitely put them like on my were wolf grading I would put them somewhere between ginger snaps and the howling howling being yeah ginger snaps being like the that's the best you could have done in that moment sure and this is better than that like the only thing I'd their heads are gigantic yeah I think their heads are right I their their their their their their their their their their their their their their they's they's they's their they's they's their their they's their their their they's they they they they they they's they're th is they're they's they they they's they's they's they's they's they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their te te te te. theeeeeeeee. theeeeeeeee. they're they're they're their their the, the only thing I would say is like, their heads are gigantic. Yeah. I think their, I think their problems, their heads are right-sized, I think their bodies aren't big enough. Okay. You know what I mean? Yeah. I feel like they'd be a lot of like, whoa, whoa, whoa. Wo, sorry, my head's getting away from their arms to the arms look, because they they they they they they they they they they're, because they're, they're, they're, they're, they're, they're, they're, they're, they're, they're, they're, they're, they're, they're, they're, they're, they're, they're, they're, I they're, I they're, I they're, I they're, I they're, I they're, I they're, I they're, I they're, I they're, I they're, okay, okay, okay, okay, okay, okay, okay, okay, I they're, I I I I I I I I I, I I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I th. th. I, I th. I th. I th. I th. Yeah, I th. Yeah, I th. Yeah, I th. Yeah, I th. Yeah, I th. Yeah, I th. Yeah, I th. I th. Yeah, I th. Yeah, I th. Yeah, I th. Yeah, I th. Yeah, I th. Yeah, And they get punched a lot. Thank you. I love when Spoon like runs out of bullets and he's just like, all right, I'm gonna go to toe with a werewolf and see where this ends up. And he does punch it. Yeah. And then he gets exploded. Yeah, I guess.
Starting point is 00:26:54 I don't know. I don't remember how any of them die. I mean, like there's that. There's that scene where the guy the guy the guy the guy the guy the guy the guy the guy the guy the guy's the guy. I the guy. I's the guy's the guy. I's the guy's the guy. I's the guy. I's the guy's the guy. I's the guy. I's the guy. I the guy. I the guy. I's the guy's the guy. I'm the guy. I'm the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the th. I th. I th. I toooooooooooooooooooo. I toooooo to to. I tooo. I to. I to. I to. I to. I to. I barn to get the Land Rover and he sees like a dead a person getting killed? Yeah. Who is that? That is one of the soldiers. That's Terry. Terry was the guy who was like doing dishes and making tea for everybody. I don't know if that is. He's the guy who puked on Davos' head. I thought that was Spoon. No. They look very similar. They do. I liked that scene a lot where the guy like hot wires a jeep to for them to escape in. Yeah. And there's that like a Halloween moment where he's like in the car and then you see somebody else's breath come over his shoulder. And he's just like you're behind me or yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:27:37 And then it's like when they open the door and just a river of blood falls out of the door. I like that also. But th then then then then then then then then then then then then then then then then then then then then then then then then then then then then then then then then th th th thin like thin like thin like the the the the the the the the the the the the the the they. I they. I like they. I like they. I they. I they. I they. I they. I they. I they. I the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the. I like. I like. I like. I like. I like. I like. I like. I like. I like. I like like. I like. I like like. I like. I like. I like. I like. I like. I like. I like. I like. I like. I of the door. I like that also. But then we're inside and Cooper is like, Tommy, excuse me, is like the expert on all things he could not know. Yeah. Like, oh, she's like, Megan's like, we only need to make it another six hours. And he's like, Sergeant, only live another four. You don't, it's not like the only thing that's holding them back from coming into this house is, they don't know how much ammunition we have.
Starting point is 00:28:07 Like, you do not know that that's what's stopping them. Like, you have no way of knowing that. Stop saying these things like they're fact. He's got that military bravado. I hate that. feel about when Spoon was hammering the door shut and they stuck their hand, one of the wherewolds sticks their hands through the mail slot and just starts hammering it really fast. I like that. I guess those parts are sort of funny. Yeah. Yeah. I like when he called somebody a piece of piss to hot wire a car.
Starting point is 00:28:45 Right. Oh right, so they even know how to hot wire? It's a piece of piss. I guess so. I guess that's good. Guess that's easy. So the whole time Davos just keeps getting healthier. Right.
Starting point is 00:28:56 And being very, he's acting like a sullen teenager. He's just being like, uh, a cuck. And he has said multiple times there was only supposed to be one. Like when they first find him, he just keeps repeating there was only supposed to be one. Right, right. So is this where he reveals what he's doing there? Yeah, more or less. That he's there trying to get one of the werewolves to bring it back. He had got an intel from like the higher, the government, I guess, that there would be werewolves and he should get one and bring it back dead or alive. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:29:33 Because he's wanted? Dead or alive. Should I go grab that acoustic and just smash it against the wall? Because that's what you're supposed to do with an acoustic guitar. This is an animal house. You kind of live in an animal house though, not a fraternity, it's just a house full of animals. It's not a great joke. So this is when like Ryan, Davos just keeps yammering on about stuff and Megan finally turns goes, Ryan, enough! And Tommy is like finally goes, hey you guys know each other. Yeah, right. He finally figures it out. Right. And she explains that she went out with them as a zoologist. She went out with him
Starting point is 00:30:15 on their last mission here. Ah, okay. He sort of missed that. And also, how did they not know that they were in the house of the warewools? like not to give the, the ending the ending the ending the ending the ending the ending the ending the ending the ending the ending the ending the ending the ending the ending the ending the ending the ending the ending the ending the end the end th. Oh, th. Oh, th. Oh, th. Oh, th. Oh, th. Oh, th. th. Oh, th. Oh, th. Oh, th. Oh, th. Oh, th. Oh, th. Oh, th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. they. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. thi. they. they. th. th. they not know that they were in the house of the werewolves? Like, not to give the ending away right now, but come on. That she was a werewolf? No, they're in the house where their werewolves came from. Like, there's nobody around here. Yeah. Because, yeah, it's sort of dicey. Do they just not believe that it's real or like I don't know I don't know they saw them they know what they are yeah I don't know at some point they accept that they're werewolves yeah right they should just be because he because coop does
Starting point is 00:30:51 so they all do they're all just like a wolf he says that he's got that brown rid you're gonna listen to him yeah and he's got a different accent more Scottishish Scottish. Sounds like, no. You nailed it. No, I didn't. So, tell me how you feel about Megan's reveal that she is indeed a werewolf. I was confused because she has them do this elaborate thing with the Jeep and the flames and light and the cabin or barn or whatever. And then she just goes, I'm sorry. And I was like, why? And I thought they were going to make out, which I didn't like at all.
Starting point is 00:31:26 Oh, because she gets like really close to his mouth. Like she thinks that's where he was going for it. Yeah. I like that. She's like helping them. She's like helping them. She's like, she's's got the right idea here. Yeah, just sit still. Oh, and we've seen that Sean Pertie. Why did she pick that point to turn? Why not just kill them? Or I guess she's trying to get out?
Starting point is 00:31:50 I don't know. I think she had unlocked the back door to let them she says to coop something like, I thought you were going to be my way out. Yeah. But what does that mean? I guess she thought, you can't just be taken away from lichanthropy. There's no geographic distance that can. Lyanthorough is like, uh, it's positioned and won't you drop that in again. I put that.
Starting point is 00:32:25 Can you drop that in again? Welcome to my book collection. This is just part of my book collection. There's all kinds of stuff here. There's the whirrower by Monague Summers. This is great. There's lots of great war-wolf stories in here. We're all documented, all true. And there's one in
Starting point is 00:32:50 particular that's great where they look into this guy who's accused of being a wherwelf and he comes out of this clearing shaking a baby in his mouth. That's pretty cool. We've done a lot of werewolf movies, that's a problem. Jesus. What a goddamn delight that man is, stupid delight. So Sean Pertwey has also gotten better and shows Tommy his wound that's all healed up now. But I like when she like reveals who she is and then like he calls her a bitch or something and she's like, yeah she's like you think are bitches, but I really am or something like that. I was like, really? I'm a real bitch and it's that time of the month.
Starting point is 00:33:31 Yeah. Full moon times. I mean... But I did like that when she says that three were wolves while came behind her. Yeah, that's cool. I like when they were first turning into a w a a a a w a w busted girl. Yeah, yeah. And your eyes looked like an Instagram filter? Oh and she didn't wasn't she the one who shot Ryan when he started changing? Oh who cares? It doesn't matter. Somebody shot him. But they shot him with just like regular bullets, right? Do regular bullets kill them? I guess not when they're full-blown
Starting point is 00:34:03 where wolf. But if you're still people, because she gets shot and seems to just be dead too. Yeah. Okay. Yeah, yeah. Can I tell you something I took a very serious issue with? Please. So Sarge is going to blow the whole damn thing up. He pulls out the gas line and cuts it. a gas stove. It's definitely electric. Yeah. It's definitely electric. There's no way. There's no way there's a gas line running out there. That's all I'm saying. Unless it's
Starting point is 00:34:28 different in the UK, but I doubt it. Yeah. That's all. It just doesn't make any sense. I'm mad about it. I'm mad about it. That's where the movie about where wolves has fallen apart for you? Okay. Okay. Okay. It is sad that he'll never thi. the th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th the the the the the the the the there's there's the the there's there's there's there's there's there's there's there's there's there's there's there's there's there's there's there's there's there's there's there's there's there's there's there's there's there's there's there's there's there's the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the that that that that. that. that that. the the the the tho the that that. that that that that that the that the sad that he'll never see his wife again. Oh yeah, that was very sad. I don't do well with that kind of sad. Do you deal well with miniatures exploding? You know I do? It was so good. It is really good. Because there's a little miniature burnt-up cheap in front of it too. Yeah. When it exploded, Rob had just walked in their room. He's like, I came for the best part of this this this this th th th th th. It th. It th. It the movie. It the movie. It's the th. It's th. It's the th. It's th. It's th. It's th. It's th. It's th. And I was like, you, dummy. I love House. He's just so into blow him up. Oh, yeah. He loves an action movie. And he never gets to watch them while I'm around, because I'm like, now, now. That's not fair, is it? I'm being kind. That's a thing I just realized. th. th. the th. th. th. th. th. th. th. the th. th. th. th. th. the th. th. th. th. th. th. the th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. the the the the the th. th. to. the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the th. That's a thing I just realized. I'm asking if he wants to watch a Terminite.
Starting point is 00:35:28 Sure. The other night I went on a tear of watching an Italian shitty horror movies. And Missy was just like, yeah, I'm gonna go upstairs. I was like, that's probably for the best. Yeah. Sometimes you just have to, you know, let your partner alone with their best-done movies. Oh, sure, sure, but when he says, do you want to watch a movie and I say, yeah, and he says, do you want to watch and I say, nope, whatever it is, nope. I do the same thing with romantic comedies. Oh boy, yeah. That's a rough. That's a rough, that's, you guys are both difficult rows to hoe, I feel. You and your Italian horror. Yeah. You can only take so many McKellie Suave movies in a row before you got to walk out of a room. But you love Mark Ruffalo. I do love the Incredible Hulk.
Starting point is 00:36:08 Is that an action movie? The Incredible Hulk? Yeah. Yeah. It's a superhero this movie. No, they're all so dumb. All they make now. Yeah. I like when... So, And Tommy says have you tried licking your balls yet? Yeah. Oh the spoon joke. So spoon gets obliterated by an explosion. Yeah. He's turned into mush. And Tommy says where spoon to serge and search just goes, there is no spoon. And that is a line from the matrix where Keanu Reeves is being taught how to to use to use to use to use to use to use to use to use to use to use to use to use to use to use the the to use the the to use their their their their that is a line from the Matrix where Keanu Reeves is being taught how to use his mind powers. There is no spoon. Why does Kianna Reeves have mind powers? Oh because the internet is in an internet. It's
Starting point is 00:36:58 like he's jacked into the web. Is it like a land thing? Like a land party? They're all drinking Mountain too and playing halo? Is that a land thing? I know she's like a land thing?. It it. It it. It it. It the the th. It is th. It is? It is? th. It's a land party. They're all drinking Mountain to in playing Halo? Is that a land thing? I know, we've left him a Baileywick. They're playing Super Mario Kart. Oh, that I would do on a land. Yeah. I think you just need four controllers. Um, he finds the letter opener. The silver letter opener. Why was it in this house? Because they stole everybody's stuff. At they they they they they they th. the house, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, the the the their, their, their, their, their, their, their, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, their their their their their their their their their their th.. Like, like, th. Like, their their th. their their their their their their th. the silver letter opener. Why was it in this house? Because they stole everybody's stuff. At one point they showed you that they'd like the house was just filled
Starting point is 00:37:28 with shit that they'd stolen some people after they murdered. I think I didn't see a lot of those. I think I didn't see a lot of this movie. you know what I mean? Was it your sleepy time movie? No I watched it over a period of days. Did I I, I, I, I, I, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, oh. Oh. Oh. Oh. Oh. Oh. Oh. Oh. Oh. Oh. Oh. Oh. Oh, oh, oh, oh, the the the the the the they. Oh, I. Oh, the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the bodies hanging from the ceiling? Yes, I did. Okay. And then he kills him with a letter opener, that kind of burns, and then we get credits. And there's like a couple little shots in the credits. That like the camera sound. Kching? Kaching? Well, it's because... .
Starting point is 00:37:56 . Yeah. Pee, the th. I love your Puccino. Is it good? No. No. I love it. The camera thing's funny because they figured out the flash like disorients the werewolves. Yeah. So there's like someone developed all the pictures that they were taking when they were shooting
Starting point is 00:38:17 the flash off at the... Oh, I see. And then there's a newspaper, like a weekly world news that says England, Germany, 5-1 England, and then where wolves ate my platoon is like a little small thing. So he lives, Coop lives, I guess, to tell the tale. Yeah. Yeah. That's nice, I guess. There were just a lot of dog references in here that I was like, I get it. You're being really heavy-handed. Like when she's talking about how a wolf pack works like they're men who all run together and they have each other's backs and they're gonna stay in one place together and I was like oh they're the wolf pack yeah you know what I mean like I fucking get it you're not
Starting point is 00:38:49 being deep Neil I know you didn't write this did he I don't care well I'm gonna reveal something to you that's gonna explain why you didn't like this movie tell me wrote directed and edited, Neil Marshall. Neil. That's not, of movies we've seen where someone has written, directed, and edited, this is one of the better ones. I have the, the sticks are low, the bars low. This is a rare he did it all, but it's good. I-M-H-O. Sounds like we're moving to the...
Starting point is 00:39:23 Barrings. Nope, let me try that again. Please do. There's just no way to do it, is there? Rheing's face. That's the way to do it. That's it. That's it.
Starting point is 00:39:40 You go first. You know, that second act is real sloggy. If you don't like an action movie. And yeah, and I don't. Yeah, I mean, it's not that I don't, there's some that I like. It's just there, on the whole, I'm like, I get it, you've got guns. Like, cool. Bang, ma'a, bang, bang, bang, ma'a, bang. wrestling and you're there all day long. That's a different kind of action. A barely kind of action. I mean I didn't hate this but I certainly didn't love it
Starting point is 00:40:09 either especially with all the good werewolf movies we've done. Yeah. Like an American werewolf in London and the howling and Wolf Man. This just doesn't stand up in my opinion. Okay. I'm gonna give it a six. All right. You? I really love this movie. I really love Neil Marshall movies. And this was the first one that I saw. Oh, okay.
Starting point is 00:40:33 And it's so, I think it's just really silly. Maybe that's why I think of it as a comedy, but I do like action movies and I like a good mash them up movie. And I'm gonna give this movie an 8. All right. Yeah, I'm glad that Dakota, I was thinking about we should do this movie for a while. But now I can blame someone else because you prefer bringing it into your life. Tweeting the finger is always a good move in my opinion.
Starting point is 00:40:58 It's always a good choice to say, uh, not me. Oh, you mean, it wasn't me. Are you shagggying right now? Yeah, I love shaggy. Shaggy. Shaggy! Did you ever see them performing that on Saturday Night Live? No. So I can't remember the guy who does like the singing parts. You mean all the words to the song they're like, they keep crossing the stage, like doing
Starting point is 00:41:25 this like, da da da da da da da da dance and they never stop doing it. They just keep walking back and forth. At least in my memory, that's it. I'm gonna watch it as soon as I get home. It's very funny. That's a great song. Also like how did you forget you gave someone a key? . And how did she believe you when you said it wasn't you? She literally caught you banging on the bathroom floor.
Starting point is 00:41:47 Yeah, and on the counter and on the sofa. She even caught you in the shower. She even got you on camera. She saw the marks on your shoulder. She heard the words that you told her. Why do you know so many lyrics from that song? Because I fucking love Shaggy. Look, you know what we were just talking about all the culture that I have to do?
Starting point is 00:42:09 It's because I was listening to Shaggy. Shaggy and Sean Paul? I don't know anything else about what's going on in the world? No. No. I don't even really know Sean Paul. You know, I know something you do like. Is it mail bag? It is mail bag. It is.
Starting point is 00:42:28 Mailbag. We got a tweet from magical zombie that I think you're going to enjoy. I like the name already. Yeah. I like the, it's like a wizard zombie or like a, yeah, da da da da, tta, a zombie. Isn't that zombie? That zombie. Starting point is 00:42:46 Mind freak. Oh, I'm going to see if I can change my name to Mind Freak zombie. Mind freak. I think. I wasn't like the idea that some zombies are just standard, not magical. Yeah. Real plain zombie. Just binge on the first 100 episodes of World of Ambulance.
Starting point is 00:43:06 Can't wait to catch up soon. Honestly, you guys are the best horror movie podcast ever. That's crazy. That's crazy. D-dah-dah-dah-dun-dun-dud-dah-dah-dah-duh. That's amazing, thank you, magical zombie. And also the good news is I just, I started to sweat when we did that. That. I started to sweat when we did that. It's like my heart's rates going up.
Starting point is 00:43:27 That's amazing, thank you, magical zombie. And also the good news is that you're only like halfway there, and by the time you get through those, it'll probably have done another hundred. And I will say, I think we've gotten funnier. I mean, we have to have. Or at least we've lost our minds more. Oh, that that that that to have. Oh, that's so awesome. I can't imagine listening to 100 episodes of us though. No? No. No. I definitely have. I've listened to every one of our episodes. That's true. You've had

Mealy Monsterland suggested to us on Facebook. Let's unpack that Mealy Monster Land. Is it like a land that's like when you take the skin off a red delicious apple and it's just like, oh come on. Who called this delicious? Yeah, that's gross. Or is it filled with meal worms? Also gross. That would be a monster land. That is. Well, maybe Mealy Monsterland will explain themselves. And they're bizarre capitalization. Just finished listening to Tremor, hilarious.
Starting point is 00:44:36 Oh, thanks. You guys are the best and by far my favorite podcast. Oh, thank you. You're my favorite Mealy Monsterland. You're the one and only in my heart. We're doing it. Oh, you know what, I just realized?
Starting point is 00:44:59 What? This is not Night of the Creeps. Yeah, I'm stolen. This is in my, my, I love this movie because it takes place in a mall. Right. Yeah. I do know, I know I was thinking I'd seen this but I've seen night of the creeps. I've not seen night of the comet. It's a double mall movie. Wow, what a typecast that is. So we're gonna do that next week. Great. It's on Amazon. Thanks, Mealy Monster Land. You're so sweet. You are. You are. If you explain that to us, I'll like it a little better. I just like to know. I like when we make fun of people's names and they reach out, they're like, listen.
Starting point is 00:45:48 I'm actually a doctor. It's actually my grandmother's name. My grandmother was milie monster land and I'm named for her. She's dead, so thanks. She killed Godzilla. Do you think grandma was invited to kill Gatil? Like they brought her in as a consultant? Yes, Gamra brought her over. We are really, we are just off the rails. I do like that when reading that message from Milly Monsterland, I definitely conflated that we were their favorite childhood podcast.
Starting point is 00:46:18 Oh, what if somebody grew up listening to us? We've been doing this for five calendar years. Yeah, there's athere that's been probably listening to us in utero and is now. So come back next week for a- That's why I only played my kid, Nelly in Udero. She was born with a band-aid on her cheek. It's weird. That's the thunk song? That's Sissy. Nelly is, um, it's it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, the, it's, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, th. I, th. I, th. I's, th. Starting point is 00:46:46 So take up all your clothes. And also like, um... Going down, down, baby, your street in a rain driver, sweet sweeper, baby, cock ready to let it go. Shimmy, Shimmy, Cocoa Puff, pass it to me now. I don't think you get mad at me for mixing up Cisco and Nelly, pretty much same artist. Nilly had a lot of hits. Didn't Cisco? He's got that thong song? But didn't you have a silver head? Yes. That's pretty tope. Maybe he thought his hair was an Android. He was ahead of his time. That gray hair really didn't kick in for about 20 years. Cicco Trend Center. We are way off the rails, all right.
Starting point is 00:47:26 Making when your booty go, da, da, that, that's all I remember that song. No, I don't. Woo, that dress so scandalous, you're shaking that thing can't handle this. Leave us all in. Leave us all in. Leave us all in.
Starting point is 00:47:38 Leave every bit of tired. Yeah. Due to some scheduling difficulties, we're doing six episodes in three weeks. So buckle in, because next week is going to be even weirder. Oh man, but then I'm going to be laying in a pool for a week. I don't know why they usually a pool of blood. I really hope not. Don't take buttons. Katie. Alan. Bid these people good night.
Starting point is 00:48:06 Oh, thank you. Good night. Thanks for listening to another episode of Oral Familance. Bye. Bye. the end. to be.
