I definitely said, let's do this movie, but it's not my fault because I didn't know anything about it. It's a website about horror stuff and it's the director's first full feature-length movie. It has some good things about it.

Oh yeah, there's some legit creepy parts in this movie. Some terrible things about it. Mm-hmm. Let's get into it. Okay. Actually let me start by saying this. And the movie is called Choices. And everybody makes choices in the movie. In this movie. no one makes choices. They make all the wrong choices. It's like shit you would never do. I kept thinking that. It's like the person who wrote this had no insight into being a human being. It was like data wrote this from Star Trek.

It's like, don't do that. No, that thing? Don't do that either. It's frustrating because this is a movie that's clearly made by someone who loves horror. Yeah, I mean, it's a total throwback to the 80s. It is. And there are a lot of things in it that you're like, oh that's okay, that's pretty good. But it's just like you didn't give any thought to putting the characters in a situation and having them react. They're so wooden, I guess. Yeah, I felt very much in that that vein of like, I just need to get these people into a room and kill them. Right. memory of all of them. Well now I feel bad. Because he he totally acknowledged what he was doing. Well, this movie's really mean. We talked about this at Ice Cream Club on Saturday because we have an ice cream club. Antony's, yeah. Antony's is so good, guys, Pittsburgh's. It's delicious. And if you have a phobia of clowns, which I know a few of our listeners do, avoid at all costs. I mean, I think you see that by the cover art, right? The clown? I thought the art of the clown, the design of the clown was great. I thought he looked great. I actually thought he was a good actor. Good mime. But then it gives you the like, what moment at the end of the movie? I didn't think that was a what moment because I realized like after she showed up and was the last, the final girl, that she was the survivor. It got less so as it went on I got more just like sort of Cynthia and it was it wasn't a bad soundtrack but it was Barry Carbony there's a lot of throwback like House of

I feel like there's an extra z in there that I really like. It's two thi's now I've decided. People who make horror movies, you either can focus on the characters or you can focus on the gore. And this was just totally an excuse for gore. And that's okay. That's what they're doing. That's okay.

I will say, it was that. I will say, that's it. I would disagree with that one scene. I don't think that's tortu for will get to that scene. All right, all right. So we have a murderer tool making montage that I really enjoyed. Did you like that? I did. He's just filling a bag with like hack saws, like it all comes back up later. There's like a cat of nine tails that he made himself. Out of like surgical equipment for us?

And keys? Which is like, ouch, but not that oush, you know? But I like that. And then we meet our journalist who's interviewing the lone survivor. Right. Which is apparently, we find out later the day after she gets out of the hospital. Maybe let that bitch go home. Maybe let her take a nap.

Although she's been there for a year. She's been in the hospital for a year. That also doesn't seem necessary. I mean I can't imagine having your face completely reached. But then also I just feel like if they're going to redo the whole thing, I mean they do face transplants now. That's a real thing. Yeah, yeah. You could look better than this. Yeah. If they're in the land of smartphones, they've already started doing face. Exactly. Yeah. So they. It's a shitty location, it really is. So, yes, and then we find out that the journalist is phenomenally rude about everything. Yeah, she's talking to, I guess, her boyfriend on the phone, and she's saying rude things about the woman's face. And then there's rustling in the clothes. Yeah. And then the lone survivor digs the woman's eyes out of her face? I don't know why. Well, that's happened to her.

There's one line that happens in the scene where they're fighting about driving drunk. Yeah. That I really liked and it was like really the only good line in the movie, which is, I'm gonna pot you like a cat to try to get the keys. And I was like, that's funny. And while they're fighting over the car keys, there is a clown down the street with a
