Werewolf Ambulance: A Horror Movie Comedy Podcast - Episode 202- Halloween: Resurrection (2002)

Episode Date: November 12, 2018

You know what they say about being in a hole? When you find yourself there, keep digging until you find another hole with worse acting and less plausible storylines. And that's what we did. Following ...up on last week's foray into the weird later additions to the "Halloween" franchise, we're talking about the 2002 film "Halloween: Resurrection." Special topics for your consideration include: the academic and romantic careers of a bunko Jon Snow, destroying the world vis a vis Daylight Savings Time, criminally under-using Tyra Banks, whether ad-libbing qualifies as Dangertainment and parsing reality television. We haven't talked about many reality show-based horror movies (sidenote: are there any good reality show-based horror movies? Let us know!) so I guess just listen to some of my favorites: Episode 104- "I Know Who Killed Me," Episode 108- "The Wicker Man" (remake) and just for fun, Episode 6- "Alucarda."   Have you seen this one? Starting point is 00:00:00 Hi, EMTs. How are you? We're okay, I guess. Our recording schedule is such that we often record well in advance, so our episodes aren't always lined up with current events. So our episodes aren't always lined up with current events. Right. And as you all know, because we talk about it constantly, we're from Pittsburgh. And things here are shitty. Yeah. How you feeling, Alan? Not good? No, me either. Yeah. So we just wanted to say that for those of you who are also feeling shitty,
Starting point is 00:00:38 we're here for you. Yeah. And our hearts were broken by what happened at the Tree of Life Synagogue and yeah. This place is bullshit. This world is bullshit. People are bullshit. But then also a lot of people are not bullshit. So. Yeah, you guys aren't bullshit. No, you're not. But we're here. Yeah, I was thinking today that like, with everything that's going on in the world and how crappy stuff is, like, I love that I get to come into the attic and make yuck-yucks with you. Yeah. And then people out there think that it's worth listening to you. Like, that's really heartening. That it's something for people to enjoy, which is nice. On top of all of that, we lost a friend and a friend to a lot of our listeners. Jesse Flattie was a real good dude, and he unfortunately passed. And he was, that it it it it it it it it's, that it's, that it's, that it's, that it's, that it's, that it's, that it's, that it's, that it's, that it's, that's, that's, that's, that's, that's, that's, that's, that's, that's, that's, that's, that's, that's, that's, that's, that's, that's, that's, that's, that's, that's, that's, that's, that's, that's. That's. That's. That's. That's. That's. That's. That's. That's. That's. That's. That's. That's. That's. That's. That's, that's, that's, that's, that's, that's, that's, that's, that's...... That's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's really that's really that's that's that's that's that's that's that's...... That's that Halloween 3 was referenced at his funeral in service. So she should. Good God. So let's talk about something else.
Starting point is 00:01:32 First I have to make a phone call to the police. Oh please. Officer I have to report a crime. Yeah. Halloween resurrection criminally unuses Tyra Banks. So, Alan, did she die in this movie? I didn't see it. I mean, if she died, I missed it. Because at the end I was like, where's Tyra? She was hanging from the ceiling in the garage? I didn't see her.
Starting point is 00:01:57 I missed her. I missed her. Yeah, tie tie. Tie tie baby. Did you ever watch American Next Top Model? Of course I did. Did you? Yeah, yeah. I like that show. It was real fun. It was real catty. The season with Shandy where she's
Starting point is 00:02:14 sheets on her boyfriend. You remember that? No, I don't any boyfriends ever. Yeah, well, not after that. Sorry, Shandy. Oh my God, I love that true. I love all the makeovers they did too because they, nine times out of ten looked worse. Oh, yeah, yeah. And someone realized cry and they'd be like, it's just hair, but she really does look like shit,
Starting point is 00:02:39 so let's be honest. We're gonna give you a flat top. Why, I'm not Grace Jones. What are you doing to me? So this is the eighth installment of the Halloween franchise. It comes on the heels of H2O, oh, oh, last week's episode. Which I owe, oh, oh, an apology after seeing this movie. Strongly disagree. This is a better film. Yes, yes it is. At least something happens in this movie.
Starting point is 00:03:05 What are you talking about? Oh my God. This is a way more enjoyable movie. So my first laugh came reading the Wikipedia page before I even started this movie, where it's like, this movie picks up with the Michael Myers in the last movie that was killed is not Michael Myers but a paramedic. And I'm just like, you got to be fucking kidding me. Apparently, that was the plan all along.
Starting point is 00:03:29 They shot that after, right after the principal photography ended for H2O. Really? So we didn't come out until four years later. That was the plan. That was intentional. And that means, I like it a lot. It's so stupid. It's intentionally, it's intentionally, it's intentionally, it's intentionally, it's intentionally, it's intentionally. toe. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. that's, that's, that's, that's, that's, that's, that's, that's, that's, that's, that's, that's, that's, thi. thi. thi. thi. that's, thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. I. I. I. I's a thi. I's a thi. I's a thi. I's a thi. thi. thi. thi. the thi. thi. theea. that's thea. that's that's that's that's that's thi. that that th like it a lot. It's so stupid. It's intentionally shitty. I mean, let me just start with this movie comes out,
Starting point is 00:03:49 you know, with the opening credits and the names of the actors. Yeah. And I saw the name Buster Rhymes, and I was just overcome with delight. I knew he was in it, but it was like I couldn't stop smiling. I, ask, one of my favorites. He is arguably the greatest leers of the generation. I obviously believe that. I think he's great.
Starting point is 00:04:10 His, when he comes in on the tribe song with leaders of the new school and he says, ra, ra, like a dungeon dragon, he's lose my fucking mind every time. Like, God damn it, he's so great. Acting on the other hand. I'm going to stop you the like the like the the the I the I the I the I the I the I the I thi I to say to say thi I to say to say to say thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi the. I hea. I hea. I hea. I hea. I hea. I hea hea hea th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I thi. I thi. I to say to say to say to say to say to say to say to say to say to to thi thi thi thi thea. I thea. I thea. thea. thea. I thean. thean. thean. I thea. I so great. Acting on the other hand. I'm gonna stop you right there. I'm gonna say, I think he's an okay actor. He's very charismatic. He has great screen presence.
Starting point is 00:04:32 However, letting him ad lib was a mistake. Letting him adlib karate was a mistake. He, he adlibbed every line, didn't he? He had to have. They are bad. At points, he just goes, Mother fucker. Yeah, it's like he didn't know what else to say. Hmm.
Starting point is 00:04:52 But I do like that this opens with like a last time on Halloween, you know? It's like all the highlights from the previous movie, which you don't see that often. To me, that felt like, well, got to get this this this this this this f the f the f the last the last you the last you the last you the last you the last you the last the last the last the last the last To me that felt like well got to get this fucker up to 90 minutes. Yeah they did. Let's you the last half hour of the last movie. Which is crazy because they have a lot of people to kill in this one. It's true. Including fucking Jamie Lee Curtis. I at the end of the movie. Okay let me be honest with you. Two days past the beginning in the end of this movie. I did get that message. I've watched the forced 40 minutes and I shut it off and I don't know if I'm going back. Yeah, I didn't know if I was going back. I did.
Starting point is 00:05:30 I like opened my Amazon Prime account. It was like, you have nine hours to finish this and I was like, f- thun'a in the trailer like the last shot is her like busting out and being like I knew you'd come for me Michael Myers yeah that what she does like in the first 10 minutes of movie she's a cold open basically so I kept waiting for her to bust back in and deliver that line again and not having died but she died she is I couldn't not believe that that that th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. thi. thi. the. thea. thi. the thea' thea' the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the th. th. th. C. C. C. C. C. C. C. C. C. C. C. th. C. C. the. C. the. C. C. C. C. thea' tea' tea' tra' tra' tra' tra' tra' tra' tra' tra' true. the couldn't not believe that they killed her. I wish that Halloween 2018 started with in the last movie Michael Myers killed a paramedic that was wearing a Jamie Lee Curtis mask. That would have been great. I know we're not supposed to
Starting point is 00:06:19 talk about the new Halloween because people haven't seen it but I liked all of the nod to, well add nod to, isn't that, wasn't that his sister sister sister sister sister sister sister sister sister sister sister sister sister sister sister sister sister sister sister sister sister sister sister sister sister that that liked all of the nods to, well, add nod to, isn't that, wasn't that his sister? Like, no, that's something people just made up to make them feel better. Yeah, I loved that. Because it's fucking dumb. Anyway. It was fucking dumb. And also, like, if he came back to kill her son John Tate, who does not exist in this movie in this universe, four years later? Because he was 17, th, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that's, that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's th. that's thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi that's not, that's not something that's not, that's not, that's something, this movie in this universe, four years later, because he was 17, why is he back again now? And where was he during all that time? Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. There's a lot of holes in this movie. A lot of plot issues. It's not even really a plot, I wouldn't say. I have the note if you thought the portrayal of Laurie Strode in the was bad in the last movie
Starting point is 00:07:09 I got a movie for you. Yeah I mean the first one of the first notes I have says these guys are very fine actors very fine indeed top-notch thespians. I don't know who I was talking about but I'm'm not wrong. Well, there's the one other actress that I knew that's in this movie that is my favorite character, my favorite name for a character in this movie. Jennifer Jen Danzig. Jennifer, what? Her name is Jennifer Jen Danzig? Jennifer Jennzig. Jen is her. Oh, I see. I was imagining her last name was Jen Danzig. But I was like, oh God, her name is Jen Danzig. That's kind of awesome.
Starting point is 00:07:49 I love that a lot. Katie Sackoff was that? Who's that? She, I know her from the Battlesar Star Galactica show, what you've never seen? I have. Yeah, she's the blonde woman who does push-up on an incline. Yeah, I saw the the the the the the first episode. Okay. That's Katie Sackoff. I know that, yeah. Yeah. Yeah. She's the one who shows the world her bra, therefore she has to die? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:08:10 And Cass? She shows it to Rookie of the Year. Oh, see, rookie of the year. Hearsie, Rue, he's arm heels more fun. Yes, that is, oh funky butt lovin'-funky butt-lovin' Yes. I think that's Daniel Stern who says that and I fucking love Daniel Stern, so sure. We have to do Chud at some point so we could talk about Daniel Stern. I would love to. Yeah. Put it on the list. Why did Jamie Lee Curtis make this? Why did she do this? I don't know. I like that her hair was long again. Yeah. Yeah. that her, that her, that that that that that that that that that that thapapapapapapapapapap? that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that th. that th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. thi. thi. the. the. thu. thu. thu. thu. thu. thu. thu. thu. thu. thu. thu. that that thu. She didn't have that school marm haircut. But she's also crazy and crazy, she's in an insane asylum, she hasn't spoken in years. She's been shoving her pills in a doll. In a reggony end. And like she has
Starting point is 00:08:55 this really weird fight with Michael Myers where like it just isn't Michael Myers. This actor also, I don't know if it's the same actor. I think he's worse than the last time. You think so. Yeah. He's bad. He doesn't move like Michael Myers. Michael Myers is the shape, right? Yeah, yeah. And in this he's just not.
Starting point is 00:09:12 And the last time he was just not. He's the ape who's wearing the clown mask and just knows everything about serial killers. Yeah, he was cool. He was in like, um, I liked that he was in like a Hannibal Lecter room. Yeah. But for like children. Yeah. I was like, I think I'm, I think he's to hang out with that guy. You know, your friend who knows everything about serial killers.
Starting point is 00:09:40 I think I am that friend. So, um, during her fight with Michael Myers, he like grabs it his mask, like is it indicating that he, it's not him, it's she's afraid, you know, she's afraid she's gonna kill the wrong person again. Yeah. Michael Myers would never fucking do that. He wasn't pulling fake me out. No, he doesn't need to. He's the shape. He just disappears and reappears and we are passing by the arduous, arduous security guard scenes. I don't even remember. They take for fucking ever like when the one security guard's dead and his head isn't a dryer and it takes the other security guard, oh I don't know about 20 minutes to open the dryer
Starting point is 00:10:17 and pull his head out. Oh, those are the guys that I said we're very fine. Oh, those are the guys that I that I that I that I that that that that th. thu guys guys guys guys guys guys guys guys th. thu. thi thi thi thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. ta. ta. ta. ta. ta. thi. thi. thi. thi., I'm remembering this now. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah, you are correct. They are very fine. Thespians. Very fine indeed. Oh, man. And then she kisses him? They kiss?
Starting point is 00:10:34 Why do they kiss? I don't know. Why does he have Sid Vitch's spiky hair? Why did she kiss him? What is it real? Is this a movie? That is a no that I have talked to text. I don't know what I was saying. Did you notice that when he was holding her? So they eventually, Michael is hanging out the side of the building with Jamie Lee Curtis like stabbed in the back and he's holding her. Oh right, she has set up as elaborate like a foot snare, ruse to catch him on the roof. It's dumb. It's ridiculous. It's ridiculous. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. thi. Is, is is thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thulous. Yeah. Um, although her snares taken much better in the most recent movie.
Starting point is 00:11:09 And while he's holding her, you can see that her wig is just slipping off. And they were like, cut it, that's fine. Print. Oh, yeah. She drops to earth and dies. I guess. And then he gives the knife to the clown guy that knows everything about serial killers. Yeah, that guy gonna kill everybody.
Starting point is 00:11:28 Which is fine. Michael walks like he got a poop. He does. He's not a good walker. He's like walking like pelvis forward, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh. Yeah, he's walking like a pregnant lady. Just like constantly adjusting for gravity. My next note is Haddonfield University? The fuck you've been hiding. Honestly, we would know if there was a college in that goddamn town. We would know by now.
Starting point is 00:11:57 Maybe it came in in the last 20 years? I mean, it is the early 2000s, so anything is possible? Yeah. And that's when this movie becomes an indictment of, I don't know, reality TV, I guess. I guess so. I guess so. the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. thi thi thi thi thi th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the nen. the the the the threat next next next next possible. Yeah. And that's when this movie becomes an indictment of, I don't know, reality TV, I guess. I guess so. Were the plans of black people, perhaps? But not an indictment of fucking catfishing. Because that kid is a teenager and she loves him. I hated that. And that was never addressed. That's totally fine. That bitch is riding a motorized bicycle on a sidewalk.
Starting point is 00:12:25 That is rude as hell. That makes me so mad. You don't do that. I know, I know. I see it all the time. Hadn't killed University, not anywhere. Fucking. I hate that place.
Starting point is 00:12:41 So we meet our three friends, Rudy, Sarah, and dancing. I know Rudy, actually, he's from the film Save the Last Dance. Oh, it's starring him and Julia Stiles. It's about urban dancing. Oh, God. It's pretty good. I think it touches some race issues. Oh, oh, as a movie about Urban Dancing Must. And getting over your mom's death maybe.
Starting point is 00:13:06 It's a ROM. I don't think it's a calm. It's a ROM dance, you know, like center stage. A ROMSOM for Samba? Yeah. Maybe we can do dance movies like center stage in our new plan that we have upcoming, possibly. As long as we can do Step It Up, the Cirsten Dunst one? Bring it on?
Starting point is 00:13:25 Bring it on! Step it up is something. It's one of those. It's one of those urban dance movies, I think. Yeah. I think Step Up is what you're thinking of. I've never seen it, but I think that's what it's called. In this film they say say they say say say say say say say say say say say say say say say say say say say say say say say say say say say say say say say say say say say that that that that that that that that that th say say say say say say say say that that that that that that that that that that that that's say say say say that that's that's that that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that bigger than the Osbournes and I was stunned that I had completely forgotten that that show existed.
Starting point is 00:13:46 Do you remember when that was a thing? Yeah. Yeah, yeah. All right Piazzie. He's still alive. He's still alive. He's still a lot of years on those kids too if I'm being honest. Yeah, I believe so. Sharia's a lot of years on those kids too if I of there. I missed a lot of years on that man. Not a good person. She wasted a lot of years on those kids too, if I'm being honest.
Starting point is 00:14:07 They seem to have come around to being fine. I don't know about them. I don't know. I think the one is just like an adrenaline junkie. Is that the boy? Jack. And the other one is like, she. runway. Okay. I don't know. This is a very fashionable movie we're talking. Well, Tyra Bex is going to inspire that, didn't you? Yes. Uh, so we, we meet Rudy
Starting point is 00:14:31 Sarah and Danzig. They're going to meet up with the people who run danger tainment. I love that. It doesn't even work. No. No, I like it a lot. T' entertainment. And that is something the Buster Rimes did not add lib because they have logos for it. They too. The tea in Tainment is a sword or a knife or something. I think it's a dagger and I like it a lot. Oh man. I'm so good. I was into Gen Danzig's hair.
Starting point is 00:15:02 The like, is it a classic? Yeah, like dark underneath of the flip up in the back. Yeah, it's a classic 2002 look, which is by the way, not a great time. No, for anything. No. It's the tail end of the baggie jeans. Yeah. It's the first time I got arrested,
Starting point is 00:15:18 2002. And the second time. I I I I I I I I I I the the the the the th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. thi. thi. the thi. thi, I thi, I was. thi, thi. thi. thi. thi. thi, thi, thi. thi. tho. tho. tho. tho. thi, thi, thi, thi, tho, th. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah, th. Yeah, th. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah, th. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. th. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. th. Yeah. Yeah. th. Yeah. Yeah. th. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. th. th. th. th. th. thi. thi. thi. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. thi. the. th never broken the seal on that one. Good for Yale. Yeah. Just keep it that way. Yeah. I think the cops look at me. So that would be a sad scene.
Starting point is 00:15:31 I just can't let this happen to this poor man. Ah. So Tyra Banks, this is where we meet Tyra and she's working with Busta. She is dancing in every single shot of this movie, just moving her shoulders, kind of doing the getting jiggy with it with you, put your hands up and go, no, no, no, no, no, no. I love that there was definitely a guy that was like, all right, Bob, you're on Banks But, because there was just a camera following her chushy everywhere. And she's the the the the the they, they, and she's is they, and she's, and she's, and she's, and she's, and she's, and she's, th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. thi. thi, thi, th. th. th. th. thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, kind, kind, kind, kind, kind, kind, kind, kind, kind, kind, kind, kind, kind, kind, kind, kind, kind, kind, kind, kind, is, is, is, is, is, is, is, is, is, is, is, is, is, is, is, is, is, is. th. thi. th. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. tttttogether. together, ttogether, ttogether, ttogether, together, together, ttogether, together.'re like good enough to be on the show. Everybody gets on. Everybody in the room got on the show.
Starting point is 00:16:06 And also I, they each had like a thing, like Rudy thinks that people are become serial killers because of their diet. Yeah. But I don't remember what anybody else was. Like the scene ended and I was like,. So, I guess that's fine. Um... Did you like the guy who was like a Bunko John Snow? Who's the Bunko John? Oh, yeah, he's on, um, I knew that guy too.
Starting point is 00:16:35 He's on the Marvelous Miss, Maisal TV show, that Amazon Prime show. So there's a lot of actors. There's a lot of successful people. Yeah, not a successful movie. Tyra, no. I know that just says, oh God, please start talking really, really fast, bust up, please. This movie's weird too, because he's like giving a speech about what they're going to do and there's like a score score playing over like a song is playing in the background but it's almost louder than his dialogue and I was like not paying attention to what he was saying because I thought this was just gonna be like a cut scene like a scene
Starting point is 00:17:15 like a scene between other it seemed to have some relevance to the movie though yeah I was like oh did he say something I just remember why Sarah got in because she the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the th. th. th. I was like. I'm. I'm. I'm. remember why Sarah got in. Because she gets spooked by something and screams and a glass breaks. Oh yeah, she's Willie from Temple of Doom. And Busta's like, yeah, she's gotta be there. Yeah, that's true. I got a lot of glasses I need to break. I'm just so sick of all of my current glassware.
Starting point is 00:17:43 He said something like, this will be great for the internet audience. And I was like, what? I know. 2002, I don't think I even owned a computer. So Sarah is having the same problem that Jamie Lee did in H2O, where she's getting catfish? She's imagining Michael Myers everywhere. Oh, is she?
Starting point is 00:18:02 She keeps like seeing him in reflections and stuff. I was like, oh, th, oh, oh, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, like, like, like, like, like, like, I'm thi, I's, I's like, I's like, I th. I'm so thi. thi. thi. thooo. tho. tho. tho. tho. thoo. tho. tho. tho. I'm so so I'm She keeps like seeing him in reflections and stuff. I don't remember that. And it was like, oh, is it going to turn out that she's like her daughter now? Yeah, I'm glad that it wasn't a familial relation. You know that had to have been taken out of the script at some point. So there's this cameraman who's setting up cameras in the house and Tyra is telling them what to do. And she turns around to make a hot chocolate with a lot of whipped cream on it that takes like 30 minutes. I think it's like an espresso perhaps or cappuccino?
Starting point is 00:18:30 I think the cappuccino was a thing in 2002. Oh sure, your Starbucks. So I remember going to the beehive and being like, I'm going to get a cappicino, because because because because because because because because because bad. I think I will have a coffee, please. Thank you. Sir, my milkshake went off. Yeah, sir, I think you've done this wrong. Tyra dances the whole fucking time. Do you think she insisted on dancing? Or do you think her body just does that? She was like grinding nothing for a little while and I was pretty into it. Yeah, she was like like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, thi. thi. thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to thi, I, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I thi, I thi, I thi, I thi, I thi, I, I, I, I thi, I, I thi, I th. I thi, I thi, I thi, I thi, I. Yeah. I have a lot of notes that just say Tyra Booty. Yeah, she looks great.
Starting point is 00:19:06 I'm phenomenal. Still does, to the sday. Beautiful woman. Oh yeah, god damn. She should be a model. And she is. So Michael kills the camera guy while Tyra is making a drink. Okay. And we don't see him again into like the last reel of the film. Oh that's who popped up. I forgot about him. I love how you were defending this movie and all of the his- Oh, I'm not defending it. It is terrible. It is better than H2O. OK, OK, we'll figure that out by the end.
Starting point is 00:19:35 H2 was like watching one of those nature documentaries where it's just ants crawling around for a while and you're like, well, well, well, well, well, well, well, well, well, well, well, well, well, well, well, well, well, well, well, well, well, well, well, well, well, well, well, well, w w w, w, w, w, w, w, w, and th, and th, and th, and th, and th, and th, and th th th. I thean, thean, thean, thean, thean, thean, thean, thean, thi. I thi. I th thi, th where's the anteater, you know? Where's David Edinburgh? What's going on? Right. Oh, tripod death. He gets killed with a tripod. I actually like that. I thought that was pretty good. Tripod's that spiky? No, they're not that dangerous. No, I don't think so. So that was Charlie. thii. that was. that's. that's. that's. that's. that's. that's. that was. that's. that's. that's. that's. that's. that's. that's. that's. that's. that's. that's. that. that's. that's. that was. that's. that's. that's. that's. that's. that's. that's. that's. that's. that's. that's. that's. that's. that's. that's. that's. that's. that's. that's. that's. that's. that's. that's. that's. that's. that's. that's. that's. that's. that's. that's. that's. that's. that's. that. that. that. that. that. that. that. the. the. that. that. that. that. that. that. that. that. that. that. that. that. that. that. that's that's tainment begin. Yeah, I like that a lot. No one is allowed to leave the premises.
Starting point is 00:20:09 He says it real fast too and they're all like, okay. And also like it's broad daylight and it seemed like not everyone was there yet. Yeah. And he was like, well, you're locked in. What? Okay. First thing you do when you go into a house? Smell the fennel. Yeah, exactly. You smell the herbs. This is still fresh. How do you know? Oh, Katie.
Starting point is 00:20:29 Yeah. Katie. You gotta get that fennel in your nose. That's all I got. That's all I got. Because he was the food guy. Very strongly. I feel like it would smell years into perpetuity. It's true. Yeah. But to get the fresh, ah, the fresh.
Starting point is 00:20:45 And also like, what is the? Because he was the food guy. That's the only reason. No, no, no, no. Why was the fennel not old? Oh, because everything in the house, as we learned later, has been set up by B all and like yeah you think you'd be like let's stock the spice rack I don't I don't I don't I make a
Starting point is 00:21:08 fennel soup that's delicious. Love you with a whole bulb of fennel yeah a big time good time. My my grandfather made used to make sausage in the basement because Italians yeah and I remember like the whole place just smelling a fennel and death. It's cool, I love sausage. Oh, that's fennel and core. Yeah, yeah. Yeah. The smell of blood, like, never leave your nose, does it? No.
Starting point is 00:21:33 And you know how, like, people say you don't want to see what goes on how the sausage is made? You really don't. It's disgusting. Yeah. My grandfather really like, that old school. Yeah, good guy. Old school bloodhands. I'm talking about him a lot. I'm gonna probably stop talking about my dead grandfather on our horror movie comedy podcast. You guys like those jokes? You guys like those jokes? So Rudy finds the Michael Myers knife in a drawer. How does he know? I don't, never mind. They find a high chair with restraints, setting up that the family was the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the their the the family was torturing Michael. Yeah. Was that, did Rob Zombie pick that up later or something or did I see that in a different dumb horror movie? Oh that reminds me
Starting point is 00:22:14 correction department. Yeah I was wrong there is in Michael M- or in Halloween 4 the little girl dressed like Michael Myers with a knife. You wereally correct. And now I can picture her face. Yeah, yeah. Yeah, it's pretty good. So, I'm going to be leaving the podcast now because I got a harder thing wrong. The internet told me. You have one job. Yeah, the internet told me I had to leave.
Starting point is 00:22:34 Theen. Rob Zombie, yes, in the Halloween movies where Rob Zombie decided that your imagination wasn't good enough, he was going to show you that this kid was tortured by his family. Yeah, so that is where I saw that, okay. And Sherry Moon Zambi screeching at the child and yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Robbo, Zambu. Remember how you then made amends to Rob zombie for House of Thousand Corpses after we watched
Starting point is 00:23:05 whatever came after it and you were like, oh no no this is better? I still contend with me but unless you listen to me shit talking on the podcast. I think I think it's too late now. When are you going to get out of your head and start thinking with your body? Sirs? That is not how brains work. Oh, it's cool. In about 10. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. thi. thi. thi. th. thi. th. th. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. th. th. th. th. I's, th. I's, th. I's, th. In about 10 minutes. Yeah. She's like, fuck you. Give me a kiss. My shirt's off. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:23:30 Tiddy time. Ding. Ding ding. Yeah. She's also like, I'm a critical studies major, which I made serious fun of and then realized it was a real thing. Critical studies sounds like something you'd make up to make fun of college. It does, it does. Yeah, yeah. Yeah. Yeah, she's just, just boobs out, just right away. But before that we see Rookie of the Year get killed. He's also a creep.
Starting point is 00:23:53 All the men in this movie except for the cooking guy are creeps, right? Yes. This is a, I mean, and it's not, it's like, they got in this house and they were like, you wanna fuck? You wanna fuck? Was that like fucking with like the Big Brother thing where like they always hook up in their reality shows? I guess. I guess. With 2002 been like prime reality show time, right? I think that was when everything hit a peak, yeah. When everyone, it was like when MTV became nothing but reality shows. Yeah. Yeah. TV became nothing but reality shows and like, yeah, everyone realized how cheap it was to produce.
Starting point is 00:24:25 Yeah. Yeah. Boy, oh boy. Boy, oh boy. I'm glad we've moved past that. No we haven't. Really? I mean, there's so much better television now.
Starting point is 00:24:36 It's true. It's true. Yeah. I feel like that's just so many op, like all the channels that in my youth or educational television channels, like the Learning Channel and the Discovery Channel. They're just like, do you want to watch like rednecks run trucks into each other? The Learning Channel is no longer their learning. Yeah, and it's just like, have you seen these people with genetic abnormalities, let's take a look and see what their lives are like. And you're like, they had kids.
Starting point is 00:25:05 Wow, who would have thought? Are they raising them? Oh, they are. That's nice, I guess. What? I like where the Discovery Channel described that decided that no one had like working class jobs anymore? So they were just going to put them all on. Oh my God, I forgot, I th th, I th, I th, I th, I th, I th, I th. th. th. tho, I th. thi thi thi, I thi, I thi, I thi, I thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, tho, thi, thi, thi, tho, tho, tho, they're, they're, they're, they're, they're they're they're they're they're they're they're they're they're they're they're they're they're they're they're they're they're th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. thi, thi, thi. thi. thi, thi. thi. thi. that. thean. thean. tog. tog. tho. tho. thean. thean. they they they they they're they're, I forgot about ice road truckers. That can't possibly still be on.
Starting point is 00:25:25 I'm sure it's in season 2000 right now. What did they do? Just drive trucks on ice roads? Yeah, you gotta get that shit up to Anchorage. I mean, I guess it's gotta get there somehow. I don't know if there are so called now. Oh, um, Lord of the Flies. Yeah, I think so. Don't forget that before those two make out, before the lady gets her shirt off, she says, screwing a music major would be town amount to lesbianism. I don't get that. The fuck does that mean. I know I thought about it for a long time. You went to college. Tell me what that means. Um, um, um, um, um, um, um, um, um, um, um, um, th. Um, th. I, th. I, th. th. th. th. th. their, th. their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their. I was an English and arts major.
Starting point is 00:26:07 Uh-huh. Uh-huh. Not critical studies, so I guess I can't think I don't. I don't know. Tant amount to lesbianism. I mean, does it mean that men who are majoring in music are women? It must, right? I don't thi. I that's that's that's that's that's that's. I that's. I that's. I that's. I'm. I'm. I'm. I'm. I'm. I. that's the only... I don't think that's true. Not judging by the gentleman she was speaking with, yeah. Bunko John Snow. Yeah, Punko John Snow. John Snow is kind of a bunco, John Snow. Strongly disagree. Uh, that's where I have the note. This movie is ridiculous.
Starting point is 00:26:35 Can you imagine the insurance on a stunt like thu' what Busta and Tyra must have been paying insurance. It would be insane. Insuring the project of a company called Danger Tainment has got to be an enormous premium. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Um, did you like when Tyra and Busta were celebrating danger tame and getting off the ground and they're drinking wine that had bubbles in it because it was grape juice when they forded it got like foamy at the top and it's like that's not
Starting point is 00:27:08 what wine does. Was it champagne? No no it was it was red wine. Oh no that's hilarious. Do you think they couldn't like Busta? I don't know. Seems like kind of an angry man if you look at his arrest record on Wikipedia. A lot of assaults. Oh Busta. Yeah, but I mean it could be worse. We're looking to you are, Kelly. No we're not. We pretend he doesn't exist. Which sucks because remix to ignition is like the best song ever. Yeah, gotta give it up. Yeah, move on. Move on.org. Um. No, that's change.org. No, that's change. Starting point is 00:27:46 Hey, that reminds me. Thanks for bringing that up. Yeah, you're welcome. I've been thinking about this. And we have the might of many EMTs behind us on the real family. I think we got to fucking get rid of daylight savings time. And if we start a petition on we the people.org if we get a hundred thousand signatures in 30 days the White House has to respond. So like how the fuck we get rid of daylight
Starting point is 00:28:16 savings time because I am fucking over it. Do you like where we are right now? I think we should never change it from where we are right now? I think we should never change it. From where we are right now. Okay. Yes, we are in the- No, I'm changing my mind. We change it one hour ahead every year and we don't change it back until day is night and night is day and all is chaos.
Starting point is 00:28:36 That's what I want. Guys, I'll write the petition you sign it. And we were like, my god what a monster! Christ Almighty. Oh, now he's a senator. She takes the camera off and want to fuck. I had a lot of use then. I glanced over in an extraordinary amount of views. So, uh, the, the critical studies major and the music major are starting to fuck in the basement,
Starting point is 00:29:25 and then they tap a wall? And all these Skellingtons fall out of the wall on them. It's so well planned. How could they possibly know that that's where those people are going to try to fuck? Tyra is a genius. I assume she's behind that. And this is where we learn that Michael had, Michael, Michael, Michael, Michael, Michael, Michael, thi, thi, thi, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, the, the, thi, they. they. they. they. they, and they. they, and they. they. they. the, and the, and the, and the, and the, and the, and the, and the, and the, and the, and they. they. they. they. they. they. they. they. they. thi. thi. thi, and thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi well they think they're in a pit that he'd been chained up in. What? Really? Yeah, yeah, yeah. And then when the wall caves in, uh, critical studies major goes back and finds like a hidey hole where he's been living in like a sewer
Starting point is 00:29:57 underneath the house. No, that's dumb. Yeah. But it was all made up. Except that it wasn't. Wait, it wasn't? Or was it? That's dumb. Yeah. But it was all made up. Right. It wasn't. Wait, it wasn't? Or was it? Alan. I don't understand reality TV. This is where we had the fun scene where Busta is dressed up like Michael Myers and real Michael
Starting point is 00:30:16 Myers is walking in behind him. I kind of liked that. Me too. It was fun. Because the buster calls him a mothfucker for a long time. Yeah, because he thinks it's Charlie. Charlie. But wouldn't he have been surprised to learn that Charlie also had a Michael Myers costume? I think so.
Starting point is 00:30:35 And if you're scolding an employee, you're probably going to take your Michael Myers mask off to yell up that employee? I think not. I think I'm actually going to get to get to get to get their to get to get to get to get their to get to get to get to get to get their to get to get to get to get their to get to get to get to get their their their their to get to get their their their. their. Starting point is 00:31:12 And then you're going to slam the big metal door that's outside your office and come back to work. It's weird. Clients don't like it, but I think it's cool. Yeah. Yeah. This movie has a thing that you like a lot. Bong reps. I do.
Starting point is 00:31:27 Out of nowhere. Where did she have that bongs? Bongs are so not portable. I did like that Jennifer Jenzig was like walking party animal. Yeah. She's just screaming the whole time. DTP. And then she gets beheaded down the stairs, which I liked a lot. She does. I like a beheading down the stairs.
Starting point is 00:31:49 Yeah. But her friends were like, not as upset as they should be? No, she was kind of screaming all the time. They're like, oh, finally, thank you. Yeah. They like looked at her severed head and they were like, well, well, well, well, well, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, I like, I like, like, like, I like, I like, I like, I like, I like, I like, I like, I like, I like, I like, I like, I like, I like, I like, I like, I like, I like, I like, I like, I like, I. I think I would scream. Um. And then, so, so, so, we haven't really touched on this, but Sarah's being catfished by a teenage boy. Yeah. Who is at a party? A Halloween party?
Starting point is 00:32:18 Yeah. He just found like a place to watch this show on the internet. And all these people have come in to watch it with them. So there's like there's like there's like there's like there's like there's like there's like there's like th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th. thi thi thi. thi. thi. thoes thoes thi. thi. thoes thoomoomoom. thoom. thoom. thoom. thoom. tho. tho. tho. tho. tho. tho. tho. tho. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. thi. thi. thi. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. tho. tho. the. th show on the internet and all these people have come in to watch it with them so there's like this big watching party right? Yeah yeah and Sarah is screaming you know help me help me help me whatever into the camera and one of the girls at the party goes she's really a very talented actress and I was like dude she's not even a talented actress for the movie we're watching did you like that the movie. Did you like that the to the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the th. Did. Did. Did. Did. Did. Did. Did. Did. Did. Did. Blade Runner reference? I do not get that at all. Yeah. Yeah, I was like, oh, that's cute.
Starting point is 00:32:47 Why are we referencing Blade Runner then? I don't know. It doesn't do with anything. The internet. Yeah, all right. All right, fine. I like that. I like that. Except for, like, Rudy got stabbed to the wall in classic Michael Myers fashion.
Starting point is 00:33:05 And he goes and gets another knife to hold Rudy, like, to secure him. He's a heavy man. You're gonna have to get to. One knife isn't gonna hold him. I kept waiting for him to do like the German Shepherdhead for the first movie, where he like, nails that one guy to the door and then just cocks his head that though because he's not a good Michael Myers. No, he's not. And I kept being like, they didn't watch the first movie. They watched like the last movie. They were like, well, we'll just base this on the last movie.
Starting point is 00:33:29 It's fine. Right. Because even when like every time, every time in the first movie, when you see, yeah, and I this to me. Yeah. What are you guys doing? Do you want to see a great example of my Pittsburgh accent in talk to text? I'm just going to.
Starting point is 00:33:52 I like that I could tell when your emails to me are talk to text because there's a space between every line. New paragraph. Look at the first line. line there. Wait, starting with weight? Yeah. Wait, who was that? Who was that? Who was that? Who was it though? I don't know. I never found out. The one scene where the perverty guy is like staring in a mirror. Which perverty guy, Rookie of the Year, Bungo John Snow? I went thing Bunko John Snow. Okay. He's looking in a mirror and Michael's like shoves his head through the mirror on the th th th th the the th who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who who was the the other the the the the the the th th th th th th th th th th th th th th thus who was thus who was th th. He's looking in a mirror and Michael's like shoves his head through the mirror on the other side of the wall to get to him?
Starting point is 00:34:29 Okay. I don't remember. Sorry. I truly did watch it too. Um, so Sarah starts talking to Decker via this like pocket computer. What the fuck is that thing that she pulled out? I mean, text messaging was a thing. Which is huge though. Right, it was huge.
Starting point is 00:34:50 And also you could see him typing individual letters. Like the words was her roll up onto the screen. It was like a speak and spell. Yeah, it was. Is that a tech that I just like, I know. I didn't th. I didn't th. I didn't th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. that. that. that. that. the. that. that. that. that. that. that. that. that. that. that. that. that. that. that. that. that. that. that. that. that. that. that. that. that. th.............................................................................................................................. I mean I had a cell phone until like 2005 so like. Wow, no. I mean I had a cell phone in 2002 that texted but it was just like that big Nokia that had also had snake on it. So I don't think that was. Maybe, I don't know, maybe it was like a T-mobile the police? I'm like when the kid calls the cops and says hello 911.
Starting point is 00:35:28 Yeah, hi, 9-1-1? You're not ordering a pizza? Man. I mean, this is just stupid. Like, why is Michael Myers even doing this? Exactly. I don't care. Because they're like, oh man, this was my house. Yeah, right. Right. Oh, fuck.
Starting point is 00:35:51 Throwing a chainsaw at someone is hilarious though. I think the ring a chainsaw is very funny and I like it a lot. That's when she falls in Tyra Banks's blood. Oh, when she finds the chainsaw after that. Oh. Yeah. RIP Tyra. Because she's filled... Gone too soon. She's still with us. Oh, God, thank God.
Starting point is 00:36:11 She filled in a hole that Michael Myers was going to be coming up through with some boxes and a lawn mower that was leaking gasoline. And then she starts a fire with same-safeet gasoline. Interesting. I don't remember a fire. They like the whole fucking house on fire. Did she? They burn it to the gun over. Oh yeah yeah I sort of remember now. I do kind of remember. Because I remember thinking while you're deductible I hope is low. When she picked up the chainsaw did you make the note in wrong franchise? No I't know, that's true.
Starting point is 00:36:45 I do have the next note that says, oh no, this mixer is on my leg. It probably weighs three to six pounds. Literally, I'm looking at an eight-cham. Is that our mixer? I think it was the same fucking model. Two pounds, maximum? Max. She had that in a, I don't know, 10 pound rack on her leg? Yeah, and she was like, Oh! Oh!
Starting point is 00:37:07 Ah! How about Busta's kickboxing and ha yaze? Trigger-dree, motherfucker. He screams hayas so many times. I like that, though, in a a way because at least someone's having fun. If I'm not having fun at least Busteyes. That seemed like okay Buster in in. Did you call him Buster? Yeah this is the director talking about. Okay Buster. So what we're gonna need you to do here is have some fist cuts. Just go ahead and throw
Starting point is 00:37:39 paws with him. Yeah, and he's, yeah, what if I karate him? You know I'm a black belt. He definitely would claim to be a black belt. Sure. Because he was watching... He's an honorary black belt. It's like a it's like a doctorate. He was watching like Bruce Lee movies earlier, but the closed caption on my TV's kept saying he was watching Chunley movies and I was like, that's a street. That's a strungst. I don't th th th th th th th th th th th th I I I I I I I I th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th like I'm th like I'm th like I'm th like I'm thi, you'm thi, you'm th. You th. You th. You th. You th. You know I'm thi thi thi thi thin, I'm thin, I'm thin, I'm thin, I'm thin, I'm theeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee. You know I'm the. You know I'm saying he was watching Chunley movies and I was like That's a world strongest woman I don't think she made movies except for those couple Um and street fighter the movie yeah, that's the one. Oh yeah, I can't wait to do that movie on this podcast The thing the problem with April fools is that there's only one
Starting point is 00:38:18 It's true. Two movies that I really want to do. It's two movies. movies that I really want to do for April Fools this year. Do we need to run like a second podcast that just saw the April Fool's movies we want to do? It's called Ambulance Whewulf. Yes. So trick-a-tree moth-motho after he hi-yazed him for a long time and then takes a cord, a cable. It was a mic cable. It was a mic cable. Yeah, I do remember that.
Starting point is 00:38:46 Jamms it into Michael Myers' dick. He shoc him in the dick. He shocks him in the dick. And it fully electrocutes the man. I mean, it's weird to think about Michael Myers having a dick, don't you think? It's a little bit like Data's dick in some ways, where you're like, why do you have it? Well, there's a Star Trek connection, the William Shatner Mask. Oh, God, you're right. Yeah. Wow, weird.
Starting point is 00:39:08 Did so, we have to go to horror conventions and find the guy who played Michael Myers and be like, you've got a dick? You have a dick? Excuse me. Do you have a dick? Sorry, you, you didn't fuck Tasha Yard, right? That's not you, right? That was your dick. That was Dada's dick.
Starting point is 00:39:27 Was the other pale guy with the slick back hair? I see. Forgive me, go about your business. I have to leave. I have to find a restroom. My last note just says, is the saddest part of this movie that she's being catfished by a the the the the the the the movie. the movie. the movie. the movie. this movie that she's being catfished by a high school kid. Like, let's put yourself in Sarah's shoes. This terrible thing has just happened to you. Your best friends are dead, and this guy that you've sort of fallen in love with on the internet
Starting point is 00:39:50 has saved you from it. Yeah. He's a fucking high school freshman. Well, he's a freshman. It seemed like she might be early on her college career. like so what 15 and 19? Yeah, that's illegal. Yeah, for a couple years. I don't know about Illinois. I don't know what the rules are in Haddon Field. At the Hadnfield University. Oh my god. Also his hair was unconscionable. Sideburns were but. It was just so distressing and his friend was wearing like little pearl earrings. Did you notice that he had little pearl studs? That kid was the worst actor at the movie. Yeah, he was definitely somebody's son or nephew.
Starting point is 00:40:26 Also, dressed up with Samuel L. Jackson at the party. We didn't even talk about that. At least you didn't do black face. At least. I think it's fine to dress up as Samuel L. Jackson's character if you don't do black face. I think. But I think. But you know, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that th. th. th. th. th. that th. that thr. that that that, that, that, that, that, uster, I have a question. Oh, speaking of, I went and saw the 4K restoration of the fog. Yeah, how was it? Fucking fantastic.
Starting point is 00:40:54 Great. It made that movie's just infinitely more watchable. Because you could see everything, it wasn't like dark and weird. I did notice that almost all of the town is little scale models, which I did not realize watching the DVD and I was like, oh, the fog isn't big, it's little. The fog is just a cigarette smoke. From John Carpenter. So, but before it, Tom Atkins.
Starting point is 00:41:19 You got to see Tom Atkins. I forgot. And he was telling stories, and it was just like stories from his life. So he was like tell- A a the story the story the story the story the story the story the story the story the tel a tellain a tell. tell. A tell. A tell. A tell. today, toes, toes, to to to to toes, to to told, to to to to to to to to to to to to to too too too too too too too too too to to to to to to to to to too. I, too. I, too. I, too. I, too. I, too. I, too. I, too. I, too. I, too. I, too. I, to. I was, to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. today, too. I was, too. I was, to. I was, telling stories. And it was just like stories from his life. So he was like telling a story about like... The Pittsburgh guy that Tom Atkins. He's fantastic. He was telling a story about how early on in his career, like his first acting role was in Blackface. It was in like the early 60s.
Starting point is 00:41:35 And he's like, yeah, I was a boxer and I took a punch and found out of the steps and everyone cheered and I loved and I loved and I loved it they they they they they they they they they they loved and I loved and I loved and I loved and I loved it loved it loved and I loved it loved it loved and I loved it loved it loved it loved it loved it loved it loved it loved it loved it loved it loved it and I loved th th th the crowd was like, so black face is in the news right now, what are your opinions? And I was like, are you setting this old fucking man up to fall? Yeah. So he's like, oh, it's really dumb. I don't, and he's like, what's wrong with Megan Kelly? She's out of her mind? What is she thinking? And I was like, thank you, Tom Atkins. And then he tellain, he tell, like, like, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th. th. th. th. th. thi, thi, thi, thi. thi. th th thin, th th th thin, th th thin, th thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. th thi. Tom Atkins. And then he tells a story about how, when he was in a fraternity, his fraternity brother was like, hey, we should go, we should do this like, skit, and we'll all be in Blackface. And he's like, cool, cool, cool, cool. I know a guy at the NWACP. Let's go talk to him and see what he thinks. and this in Blackface, are you okay with that? And the guy stops and goes, fuck no, why would I be all right with that?
Starting point is 00:42:25 And she's like, Tom Atkins, I love you for more right now. Duquesne University grad, I believe. Duquesne University, indeed, yeah. But he was great. And then he left before the movie started. He's like, I've got to drive to Niagara Falls at like 9 o'clock. to nine. . to nine. to nine. to nine. to nine. to 9 o' to 9 o'clock. to 9 o'clock. the night. to 9 o'clock. to 9 o'clock. to 9 o'clock. to 9 o'clock. to 9 o'clock. too'clock. too'n'n'n'n'n'n'n'n' to to to to to too' too' too' took, too' too' tooan an tooan tooan tooan tooan tooan tooan tooan to to tooananananananananananananananananananananananananananan tooan tooanan tooan th. I. I. I. I. I'm. I'm th. I'm too'n'n'n'n'n'n'n'n'n'n'n'n'n'n'n'n'n'n'n'n'n'n'n'n'n'n'n'n'n'n'n'n'n'n'n at night to go to a horror dimension. Geez, he's an old man. Yeah, he's, hope he made it okay. He did. I saw pictures the next day if you were hanging out with him.
Starting point is 00:42:48 I was like, Tom! Well, bless his heart. Yeah. Would you fuck him? I mean, everybody's trying. I did. Everyone. Everybody did. Atkins has a dick. Let me tell you. Just fuck, I'm sorry.
Starting point is 00:43:05 So, we forgot to mention that Michael's body gets taken to the morgue. The corner's like, oh, I don't want Michael Myers here, and then his eyes open and the music starts. And that's the end of the movie. Was it the same mask from H2O? Or was it slightly better? It was slightly better, Ithe hair was way worse. The hair was worse. It just you don't ever want to see his eyes. I hate seeing Michael Myers eyes and I think the new movie got that right. Yeah for sure he's just Black Pitts. Yeah. Brad Pitt is what you're trying to say. It's just Michael Pied Michael. My final note? Please. Dumb. Dumb. Dumb. Oh, so dumb. Katie. Alan. Let's go of that rating. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. that. that. that. that. that. the the that. the the that. the the th. the the the the the th. the the th. th. the the th. the the the the th. the the the the the the the the the new. the new. the new. the new. the new. the new. the new. the new. the new. the new. the new. the new. the new. the new. the new. the new. the new. the new. the new. the new. the new. the new. the new. the new. the new. the new. the new. the new. the new. the new. the new. the new. th. th. th. M. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. the the the the the the the the the the the the the the new movie. the new movie. M. the new. the so dumb. Katie. Alan. Let's go to that rating face.
Starting point is 00:43:47 Okay, are you mad at me for watching this movie? Fuck no. All right, good. Because I got so excited about Buster Rhyme's and tire banks that I think a knave clouded my judgment. But I stand by my sentiment that this is better than H2O. And I'll tell you why. Go. Shit's happening in this movie. People are dying, there's like, people are fucking, people are making jokes, people are falling down.
Starting point is 00:44:11 Yep. People are, you know, texting I guess, or whatever. H2 had literally none of that. And it's just, oh, also did you see that I kept calling Adam Ark and Alan Ark? I didn't know, why didn't you correct me? I don't do cares. I like that the person- That's his son. The person who brought it up was like,
Starting point is 00:44:31 now I want to see a cut of the movie, the Alanarkin? I like that the person also was like, I didn't know that the someone else was like, up until this very moment, I didn't know there was a difference between Adamark and Alan Arkin and Alan Alda. Ooh, I don't think I knew. There was a difference between Alan Ark and an and an Alda. Well, fuck it. Um, this piece...I ain't never seen them all in the room together.
Starting point is 00:44:59 No, they could all be the same. Except one is what the other one's on, thian, thian, thian, thian, thian, thian, thian, thian, thian, thus, thus, thus, thus, thus, th, th, thus, thus, the, the other, the other, the other, the other, the other, thi, like, the, the other, the other, like, like, like, like, like, like, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, I is, I is, I is, I is, I is, I is, I is, I is, I is, I is, I is, I is, I is, I is, I is, I is, I is, I is, I is, I is, I is, I is, I is, I is, I is, I is, I is, I is, I is, I is, the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the other one's son. Apparently. I'm gonna give this, what did I give a show at two and a half, I think? I think I'm gonna give this a three and a half. No, I'm giving this a solid four. It's a four. It's a four for this sheer delight of how hard Buster Rimes is trying. He is. He's giving it his all. He is all. He is Freddy Dangertainment or whatever. And Tyra is dancing and everybody else
Starting point is 00:45:27 is fucking stupid. Her name is Nora Winston. No it's not. No it's not. They really blew their load on Gen Dancing and didn't care after that. Fuck it, just pick something out of the phone book. So the reason I think this isn't as good as H2O for a Halloween movie is this has even less to do with the Halloween franchise than H2O did. Sure it is literally just a gumslasher and not even a good one at that. I'm gonna give this the two and a half that you gave H2O. What did you give H2?
Starting point is 00:45:59 What did you give H2? Well our aggregate ratings still put this one on top, sorry about you. Oh man, and that concludes our Halloween rock block, I think. It's true, but not our reality TV rock block. God, what were we thinking? This one was, yeah, this was my suggestion, but the next one was suggested by Jake Beal of Daniel Tiger Fane. That's the one. Poor guy. Katie. Katie. Katie.

Babies, I didn't see him at the pool all summer. I'm shocked. I was there a lot. I don't think I saw him on all this summer. I mean, he must not have been in town, but his car is always parked there. But I love that people are like, these dudes fucking love this. Fred of the photo. Yeah. Okay, so he knows about us, right?
Starting point is 00:48:29 He does. Yeah. Does he know that I'm his neighbor? I mean, he's today. I mean, he's probably never listened to the show. Oh, I'm sorry, sir. Take a knee. 72 years old.
