Starting point is 00:00:00 Hey Katie. Hey Alan. I gotta go out of town for the weekend. Oh, where you headed? Out to the country. Okay. Just too polluted in the city. Sure.
Starting point is 00:00:14 Hop on my motorcycle, grab my arts, I go out into the country. to uh, the country. Okay. Just too polluted in the city. Sure. Hop on my motorcycle, grab my arts, head out into the countryside. Yeah, that's the opening to this fucking movie. Well, I have a question. Do you think that we should film it so that there's just literally five minutes of nothing to open this film?
Starting point is 00:00:40 Just five minutes of nothing? Just setting up the city's dirty. And also just a naked woman running across the street? Well in their defense in 1974, streaking was a big deal. Was it? People streaked up. There was that comedy song. That's why they call me the streak. What? Don't worry, I'll plug it in here.
Starting point is 00:00:56 Okay. Okay. Did I like it? Did I like it? Probably, you probably would. Probably, you probably would. Good. Yeah, streaking was a big thing back then. I didn't know that. Yeah. Not just at like sporting events.
Starting point is 00:01:13 No, just like random places people would just get naked and run around. I once ran the length of Margaret Morrison Drive on CMU's Muse campus wearing nothing but Chuck Taylor's in a pirate's cap, screaming pit rules, mother fuckers for $250. So it feels like you probably identify with this movie pretty. I guess so, yeah. This whole film, yeah, me and this movie are just like, what movie are we talking about? I don't remember. You tell me.
Starting point is 00:01:38 Let's sleep in say it in Italian. Nonsense, de'e de profanare the senny of morti, which is, do not profane the sleep of the dead. Which is a nice way of saying, leave me alone, kid, you bothered me. Yeah. It's not Christmas morning yet. Also known as the living dead at the Manchester morgue, which is a mouthful. And don't open the window, which is a terrible name for a movie. Boy, oh boy, this movie.
Starting point is 00:02:10 Oh man. Man. It's an Italian Spanish production. With a lot of English people and an American also, right? Oh God. And American, who is basically doing your impression of Irish people? Yes, I thought he was doing an Irish accent, but I wasn't sure. I was like, are you just being a cop? Like, you know what I mean?
Starting point is 00:02:29 Yeah, O'Malley's coming down here. Right, right. Problem with this movie is that there's nobody to like. Is there a character you like? I really like Guthrie? The zombie? Yeah, really like the zombies real creepy. I think the zombies are great. Yeah, they're terrify. Yeah. Yeah. And that noise that they make? I hate that actually. I know, there's all sound like asthmatic children running up a hill, you know? I could. I was said somewhere in my
Starting point is 00:03:02 notes. This movie should be called Attack of the Asmatics. It's really, I hate the wheezing. Yeah. What sound are you talking about? There's like a heartbeat sound and then the wheezing starts? Okay, I didn't notice that. Yeah, did you watch it on the YouTube's? I did not. I watched it at full speed. Oh, nice. So that I could stop and start that I that I that I that I that I that I that I that I that I that I that I that I that I that I that I that I th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. the. thease. thease. thease thease it thease. thease thease thease thease thease. thease thease. thease thease. thease. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. the. the. the. the. the. the. theeeea. thea. theeeea. theeeeeea. theeeeeeeeeeea. theee. No, no worries. I find this movie to be very, like it's not what one might call a good movie. I would not call it that, no. But I really enjoy the atmosphere of this movie. I feel like they really nailed like the spooky zombie stuff. In the second half, yeah. Sure. The first 45 minutes are just like flush it down the toilet. Don't you think? It's so silly. I mean, I don't care about these two bickering.
Starting point is 00:03:50 I don't care about like why they need to be somewhere for the weekend. I just, it takes 45 minutes to sort that out, you know? Oh sure. Yeah, yeah, yeah. George and Edna. I hate them both. They're both whiners and they're both like kind of asshole. George sucks. George sucks. And am I supposed to like him? I think by the end of the movie, everyone else is so shitty who's still alive, that you're like, I guess he's our winner? I feel like the only person I liked was the receptionist at the hospital, you know? The one who gets to fucking off at work out?
Starting point is 00:04:25 Yeah, it gets her boob ripped off? They show her boob and then it cuts away and then she just has like liver worst on her chest. Yeah, it looks like a lunch meat past its prime. Some pimento loaf. Yeah, and like, our introduction to George is that Edna, who is just extremely stupid, backs into his motorcycle and wrecks it. And she's like, sorry, I must be tired? Like, no, then no. Whatever.
Starting point is 00:04:55 And then he's like, okay, I'm driving your car, and she just lets him. He's a stranger. He's obviously not a woman's liver. He's obviously not anything that is good. And this beard changes lengths dramatically throughout this movie. He's very pro the environment. Is he? Yeah, that's why he hates the machine that's doing, I'm going to finger-quote the fuck out of this.
Starting point is 00:05:20 Yes. Yeah. To get to kill off all the insect, or I'm sorry, it doesn't kill them, it drives them insane so they murder each other. See that's confusing because they're saying that it only works on, like they're like it gets rid of all the parasites but wouldn't it just get rid of everything? Well no, it's very specific. It's very scientific. But also babies, I think that's the scariest part of the movie is the aggressive babies. Oh yeah, yeah, yeah. Because like what are you going to do with a baby that's aggressive? Like an infant, a newborn that's
Starting point is 00:05:51 trying to bite you? What are you going to do with it? I love that. I love that the baby has gouged that nurse's eye out. Oh the baby tha. Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, the the baby, the baby, the baby, the baby, th. Oh, the baby, th. Oh, the baby, the baby, the baby, the baby, the baby, tho, th. Oh, thi, thi, tho, tho, tho, th. Oh, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, the baby, the baby, the baby, the baby, the baby, the baby, the the the the the the the th. Oh, th. Oh, th. Oh, th. Oh, th. Oh, thi, thi, thi, the the thi, the the the the the the the the the that, that, the that, that, that, that, that, thi, the baby, that, that't that coordinated, though. But when you see the baby later, it's got blood all over its fingers. That's why, okay. Well, it also had a little scratch on its cheek, which newborns often get, and I thought, they don't bleed that much. Oh, that baby was very cute. I like that baby a lot. I was like, oh, my baby's like, are you making Katie watch a movie with a murdering baby? And it's like, ah, I just got a toddler now until the Big Dail.
Starting point is 00:06:28 That's true. Also, one of my favorite horror movies of all time has like a weird baby that occasionally murders people. It's called The Devil Within her with Joan Collins? Have we not done that on this podcast? I can't find it anywhere then it any any then then watched a Ladies Nightmare. It was a wonderful film where she is a stripper who is cursed by a dwarf who curses her unborn child and then the unborn child becomes born and is extremely strong. It's a really good film. It's a really good film.
Starting point is 00:07:01 We'll have to hunt it down and watch it. Yeah I think my friend Tara found it on blue ray but no one else will have seen it so it. It. I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I to it. It. It is like it. It is like it. It, I th. It, I th. It, I th. It, I th. It, I th. It's like th. It's like th. It's like th. It's like th. It's like th. We'll have to hunt it down and watch it. Yeah, I think my friend Tara found it on Blu-ray. But no one else will have seen it, so it's like hard to, I bet it is on YouTube. Maybe we should do that soon. We'll find it. Okay. Yeah, maybe like next week. Wait, what's it called? Um, the devil within her. is like I didn't want to be born or something like that. It's fucking Joan Collins.
Starting point is 00:07:26 Who doesn't love John Collins? If you don't, hang up your phone right now because I don't care for you anymore. Oh, I know that poster. Yeah, right? It's great. Yes, Donald Pleasants is in it. Kiddie, I think we found out which movie we're doing next week. Oh yes, I'm very excited. I'm thi. thi. thi. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi thi thi. thin thin' thin' th. th. th. thi. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. the. the. the. to to theeea. to to to to to to to to to thea. to to thea. thea. thea. thea. the. th movie. It inspired me to buy, well I'll talk about it next week. George goes out to the country, his car gets run over by a fucking Edna.
Starting point is 00:07:50 He says he doesn't like her name at one point. You look like an Edna, which is brutal. She doesn't. I mean, what does an Edna look like in the 1970s? Everyone had old-fashioned names then because it was an older time. Yeah, we were all old-fashioned back then. Yeah. Says Alan. Well, she was an adult in the 70s. Me too. Oh right, you were born in the 50s, I forgot. Just like Sting and the police. So they get, they get lost because Edna, and... Edna just blah. Edna is so fucking useless. Laura Lennie, she is not.
Starting point is 00:08:29 No, God, no, she's not. But who is, besides Laura Dern and Helen Hunt? I was gonna say Paula Poundstone, but that's somebody else. Well-known blonde actress, Fallapown. Yep. Uh-huh. All wearing neckties. That's a joke probably a lot of people who listen to this podcast don't get.
Starting point is 00:08:50 Fans of Wait-Waite don't tell me you're going nuts right now. They stop to get directions. And that's when we find out about the ultrasonic radiation machine that I love is just a tractor with spinning lights on top of it. Yeah, it's a real bungo. George is just a dick to the farmer and the people. There's no one in this movie that George is not a dick to. No. There's kind of... And he's our hero. He's the one we're supposed to root for.
Starting point is 00:09:16 He's our handsome, shaggy-haired guy. I find him um, unattractive in a like, I don't know what it is about him. I think it's just, I don't know. Like it looks like a, like, like the second stringer bass player and the almond brothers? Yes. Yes. Yes. This guy just does the West Coast with us because the other guy doesn't like flying.
Starting point is 00:09:39 It's true. Yeah, she lets him drive her car and then she's like, I'm tired and he's like, well, go to sleep then. Yeah, fucking go to sleep with a stranger driving your car. He steals her cigarette? Yeah. Yeah, oh my god, I hate George. I hate Edna too, because she lets him. But this is when we meet Guthrie, the zombie, the zombie, the zombie, the zombie, the zombie., th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, and th, and th, and th, and th, and thi, and thi, and thi, and thi, and thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, th. Yeah, th. Yeah, th. Yeah, th. Yeah, th. Yeah, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, and ssos, and ssoe, and sson, and sa, thi, thi, thi?a, thin, thin, the thin, thin, the thin, thin, thiauuauaugh, thi, thi, thi? I's, thi, super creepy looking. He's got those weird eyes. I love everybody, the zombie weird eyes, red eyes in this.
Starting point is 00:10:07 Yeah. And he sort of attacks Edna but then disappears. Because all throughout this movies, the zombies are so easily distracted. Is that what happens? He sees something in leaves? I don't know. She like runs off and he's like, well, I guess I'll go back back I'll go back. See guys later I'll be splashing around. Yeah. But I there's a bunch of great panning shots in this movie or tracking shots I guess they are. We're like
Starting point is 00:10:30 we're like focused on the creek and you hear splashing off to the left and then the camera like slowly pans and you see him coming out of the water and just like oh yeah yeah yeah. Yeah it's th. And you th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th the th the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the th th th the the th th th th th the the the there's there's there's there's there's there's there's there's there's there there there there there there there there there there there's there there's there's there's there's there's there's there's the there's there there's there there there there the there's the the the the there's the the the th so gross. In this movie, zombies are fast and also slow. Yeah. Which is weird. But they're also, they work with a lot of intent. They're like very sentient. They like work together, they make, they do teamwork things. Yeah, and they seemingly get angry at stuff.
Starting point is 00:10:56 Yeah, they have like real human emotions. It's weird for me to think that this movie is, what, six years after Night of the Living Dead? Yeah. And it feels like so long after that, I guess because it's just black and white to color or something like that. But they go off, and we were introduced to Martin and Katie. Edna's sister that she was going to visit. Okay, they are so weird. He first saw his Instagram brows, don't you think? Instagram brows.
Starting point is 00:11:27 And he's also like some kind of sex pervert, I guess. Why do you think that? Because he has those pictures of her naked crouched next to a bathtub cowering? What were those all about? Like, it looked like they were in a teat. It looked like they were in a ta says to him, you're keeping me here like a prisoner and I thought, is she a prisoner? But then it turns out that she was like a junkie and he was trying to help her get clean. But where is she getting
Starting point is 00:11:49 heroin in this like tiny nowhere town? Oh, Southgate is just silly with heroin? Is it? You just go down there. Oh, it's silly with her. Silly. Silly. they're th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. the th. th. the the th the th he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he. And he he. And he he. And he he. And he he. And he he. And he he. And he he. He. He. He he. He's he. He's he. He's he. He's he. th. the. the. thi. thi. thi. the. the. the. he's he's he's he's he's he's he he he he he he he he. kind of a big deal of these photos, but we don't ever find out, she's like, I don't remember those, what are you talking about? I was high on smack. I guess, like, because he seems to be predominantly like a botanical photographer. I just don't understand what's happening in their house.
Starting point is 00:12:15 Also, just that weird English countryside. Yeah, right? Where was this?. It, th. It, the, th. It, the, the, th. It, th. th. th. th. the, th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. the, thi. the. the. th. th. th. th. th. th. the, the, the, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, th. th. th. the. the. the. the. th. th. th. the. th. th. th. th. the. th. the. in Spain. They were filming in Spain. But it's supposed to be the English countries. I understand that. They find like one, I guess, I mean that, when they go to the inn, I feel like that has to actually be an English small town. Yeah, some of it, like the church scene and like the inns are all in England, but like the countryside, the countryside, the countryside, the countryside, the countryside, the countryside, the countryside, the countryside, the countryside, the countryside, the countryside, the countryside, the countryside, the countryside, the countryside, the countryside, the countryside, the countryside, the countryside, the countryside, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, countryside, countryside, countryside, the countryside, the countryside, the countryside, the countryside, the countryside, the countryside, the countryside, the countryside, the countryside, the countryside, the countryside, like, like, the countryside, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like Lovelock, the George, is Italian. But he's also English. It's like his parents are English, but he lived in Italy his whole life, I guess. Because it seems like he's dubbed as well.
Starting point is 00:12:54 Yeah. But he looks like he's saying the right words, unlike most of the police in this film. And also Edna. I love the cops because they're just like the most Spanish or Italian-looking dudes you've ever seen.. But. But, but, but, but, but, but, but the, but the, but the, but the, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their their their their their their th, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi's thi's their their their their their their their their their their thi, thi, thi, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi's thi's thi's thi's thi's thi's thiiiiiiii's thiiii's their their thi's thi's thi's thi's thi. I thna. I love the cops because they're just like the most Spanish or Italian-looking dude you've ever seen. And they're like, your name's Craig. Oh, I fucking love Craig. But they're always just like, I'm a Gora, they'm anandand dude.
Starting point is 00:13:13 She's like, mm-mm-mm. Uh-uh. They also do a lot of shots of Edna talking from like the back of her head. We don't see a lot of Edna's face in terms of her speaking. No. Do you think her sister and her sister's husband got together because they were just like we're pretty weird looking right? They are both super weird looking. She has bug eyes. She does and he's just like he looks like a cartoon come to life. Yeah. Instagram brows. Yeah, they're brutal. I liked the camera going off in the dark when the zombie is chasing, or Guthrie is chasing Katie.
Starting point is 00:13:56 Yeah. Yeah. Did you like their name was Katie? That's your name? Not really because I don't like the way it sounds in a British accent as much as I like the way it sounds in an American accent. I do know it's my name though. It's actually Catherine. My name is Catherine. Do you want me to start calling you Catherine? No, it makes me uncomfortable. That's my nunnna's name. Yeah, I'm doing it after her. Hi, Nuna. Johnny Depp hasn't done anything great for a while so sorry. She's still waiting though you know. If anything is doing shitty thing. I know like can you just give by Nona some nice last years of her life?
Starting point is 00:14:31 Johnny Depp. So Guthrie kills Martin in the flash of the camera. Yeah because he's chasing Katie and then Martin's like hey that's my lady friend. That's a spice suit, my wife. I'm sorry it had to say it. It had to say it. It being me. Also, the weird photos that he's taken over in the bathtub, he's done pencil drawings of those photos that are hung up all over the place too. Yeah, and they're just like hung up in the place too. Yeah, and they're just like hung up in their living room. Yeah, what the fuck is going on in there? You don't have just like tiddy drawings hanging up in your living ground? Not of my own titties. Just Laurelinies titties. Yeah, it's very weird the weird drawing. And then just like botanical like slides. Yeah, whatever. So Martin gets brutally murdered.
Starting point is 00:15:25 They say that his entire torso is crushed, every bone broken. And then they're like, can we get back up out here? And the cops like, oh, sorry, they're too busy to come until the morning. Like, this is a fucking enormous crime. This is the big, this is like the crime of the century in this goddamn me they're out like, what are they doing? They're fighting the heroin trained. I guess. I guess you're right. I don't know. My next note just says, I'm glad things aren't going well for George. Because I'm glad.
Starting point is 00:15:52 Oh, fucking George. Uh, is it? Oh, it's Arthur Kennedy plays the inspector, as he's known in the credits. But they call him the sergeant. When we first meet him, he definitely just has an American accent. Yeah. And then later he's like looking for his lucky charms. Yeah. And then later he's back to just being like a rough and tumble American. I remember one, years ago I watched the director's commentary on this movie.
Starting point is 00:16:20 Okay. Yeah, I over the DVD. And and they were just talking about how that dude was just like a raging alcoholic. Oh, I'm sure. And it was like really hard to get him to set and stuff. Yeah. He's ridiculous. He was terrible, I thought as an actor. And also, in that whole part was terrible. Like, there was nothing, I think, he's supposed, I guess if George is supposed to be our hero, he's kind of our anti-hero. Yeah, he's the villain in this. I thought the zombies were the villain in this. I thought they were the hero. Okay, maybe Guthrie is the only one to root for him.
Starting point is 00:16:59 And that old gam-gam that they they they they they's they's they's they's they's they's they'll they'll they'll they'll they'll they'll they're they're they find down in the... The guy that's got wax plugs in his nose until he doesn't? Yeah, why did he have those that nobody else did? Oh, I don't know. Did you like the mortuary font on the truck? It looks like a shitty metal band phone. Like, I love that a lot. It was the band mortuary's man. Did you like those intense caskets? I didn't pay attention to me about
Starting point is 00:17:26 that. Oh, they were like these metal caskets that could be hermetically sealed. Oh, yes, yes, yes, with a little eye hole cut out or a little like face window, yeah. And that one's... Why, though? Why thou? Why thiii. It just looks so absurd though. And also like the body, as far as they know, isn't going anywhere, you know. Just put it in a bag. Get in my body bag. That sounded like a weird Mike or Mike Myers character. And I was like, is that from Austin Powers? No, it was my, I've never seen Austin Powers? That was my, I've never seen Austin Powers. That was my, um, my De Niro.
Starting point is 00:18:07 I thought you were making Karate Kid. I was. When I said it, I thought, find the person that you're supposed to be with. Wait, can I say one more thing about the cop? When he's in Katie and Martin's house, he's looking at the pictures of her naked cowering next to a bathtub with a magnifying glass? Sir, you do not need a magnifying glass to see those.
Starting point is 00:18:39 They are just photos. He's just like, damn tittas. It's dumb. It's dumb. It was an interesting choice. I guess. The next interesting choice is they show Katie holding a cup of tea and they just keep showing close-ups of the tea for, I don't know, ten minutes? Tickily, tickily. I get it, like, her hands are shaking.
Starting point is 00:19:02 And then he's like, you have to stay in the hotel for plot reasons. Like, I'm just so dumb. George being weirdly antagonistic to the woman who owns the inn? The, the old owl in. And then there's an actual owl in there, and he's like, hey, who you call it? Ah! And it looks like shit? Yeah, it looks so scruffy. Also, they don't live they they they they they they they they don't they don't they don't they don't they don't they don't they don't they don't they don't they don't they don't they don't they don't they don't they don't they thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. ththing. It looks like it needed to be brushed. It looks so scruffy. Also, they don't live inside. They don't want to.
Starting point is 00:19:31 That's not for them. Don't keep an owl inside. No. Also, he's old. Let them die. Now the new owl in. Yeah. But George is like, we need two rooms though, I suppose one would be cheaper. Like what?
Starting point is 00:19:45 And she's like, yeah, I'd run an inn, not a whorehouse. And he's like, oh, I don't know about that. What are you talking about George? Shut up. His posture sucks also. I like this jaunty cap, though. I did not. I don't like anything about George.
Starting point is 00:20:04 He steals the film film film film film film film film film film film film film film film film film film film film film film film film film about George. He steals the film from the cops. Yeah. That they're gonna just go get developed at like the five in time. This is when we see Craig. She's like, hey Craig, do you have a light? And he's like, actually gave up smoking. I don't have a light, but now I've gained weight. And now I've gained weight.
Starting point is 00:20:19 And I've gained weight. Craig. I have so many notes that just say fucking Greg. Fucking Greg, but really what Craig is saying is, and Mambo, Mambo, Italiano. Do you like when they drive to the hospital and they are the only car in the parking lot? Why would they be the only car in the parking lot? Maybe that's just visitors parking there to see anybody? Do you like how that doctor needed George to help him give a shot to a baby? To a baby.
Starting point is 00:20:50 Hold this baby down. Mm-hmm. Also like, he's telling George all about that. He's Dr. Exposition. Yeah, it's just, just getting out private medical information for the exposition of this film. Oh, there's no HIPAA in England. I guess not. Do you like how fucking claustrophobic that hospital was? It was scary.
Starting point is 00:21:10 Everything is just like a sharp corner and a chain link fence. And I felt like the ceiling was like a foot above their heads. He was really upsetting. I like that George just like, Edna goes to meet with her sister. Why is her sister in the hospital? Because she was having a breakdown. She's coming off the smack. Withdrawing. Yeah, yeah. She doesn't seem that sick though. It's true. I think all their budget went into zombie makeup so they didn't have any for her heroin withdrawal makeup. Fine. But uh, so George just goes off a wandering, ends up in the morgue, just looking at stuff, opening drawers. No one is like, you can't be down here.
Starting point is 00:21:47 They're like, you want to see some shit? Look at this shit. I've got this fucking zombie, it looks like Thomas Middle Ditch wrapped up like a fucking mummy. Like, like a tiny bikini panties. Yeah. The other guy's wearing tiny bikini panties later too, isn't he? Or is that the same guy?
Starting point is 00:22:06 Same guy. He had the weirdest body hair. It was so patchy. It was fake. It looked like moths. It was so gross. There was a wrestler from the 1990s called Giant Gonzalez who had fake fur. I'm going to give you a little snapshot of him.
Starting point is 00:22:21 And that's what that guy made me th me me me me me me me me me me me me me me me me me me me me me me me me me me me me me me me me me me me me me me me me me me me me me me th me th me th me th me that guy made me think of. Everybody just Google image giant Gonzales. Say something. He's wearing a suit that gives him fake muscles. Yeah he's a very buff man. That looks like... It's airbrushed. It's an incomplete, I'm a pony costume. Yeah, there's hair on his forearms, outer thighs, calves, shoulders, and his peeps, his peeps and butt. And that's what that man made me think of. That looks like shit. Yeah, Giant Gonzales is the best. Yeah, he's the best.
Starting point is 00:22:55 Ah, was 7 foot 7. Yeah. I think that's a tough way. He was also a basketball player. Oh. He was also at one point called El Gigante and at another point, El Yeti. I don't know, I'm kind also a 6-2, so. Oh, yeah. Okay. Anyway, Giant Gonzalez was in this movie. So there's the, George sees the homicidal baby that's tried to rip up the
Starting point is 00:23:35 nurse's eye. The doctor's like, hey, help me give this baby a shot. George tries to hold down a baby, which I feel like I would not do. He jumps right in there. Yeah, give me that baby. I hold that baby down. George is like, oh, I bet this baby's going crazy from the ultrasonic radiation. Yeah. And the doctor's like, what are you talking about? It's like, ultrasonic radiation. Doctors are like, can you take me to that? Can we go this baby needs a shot but let's go this one of three
Starting point is 00:24:10 Homicidal babies that I have currently a lot of babies born in that town for it being a small town Three babies in the last like 12 hours. That's a lot of babies. They've all been extremely violent. Yeah Also like it would be so hard to tell if a newborn was violent to him. That's if he was months old old. Yeah, I'm all smoochy faced it. It looks real to the the the the the t. t. t. t. t. t. t. t. t. the the the to the the the the the the the tha tha tha tha tha tha tha tha tha. th tbunne to to to to to to to to to to to be to be to be to be to be to be to be to be to be to be th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th the the the the the the the the the to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to t looked like a very little baby to me. Oh really? Yeah, well, you know, smushy-faced. It looked real uncoordinated. It was just a dumb baby, though, you know? My baby is super smart, so I was like, very violent. She was also really violent.
Starting point is 00:24:37 I don't know what your dumb baby looked like. Mine was like so smart. So they go out out out out out out out out out out out out out out out out out th and th and th and th and th and th and they th and th and th and th and th and and see the scientists in this field and the one goes and I'm surrounded by radiation like in this super confident voice and I was like oh guy oh I don't know. I'm pretty sure by 1974 that uh yeah we knew the radiation was a bad thing to be surrounded by I thought so I wasn't sure when that was decided, but it seemed like by then. Oh man. So they end up in the cemetery for some reason.
Starting point is 00:25:14 Right. To find Guthrie. No, it's a George being a dick again. I thought they were going to see his body. Yeah, he's like, well fine, let's go look at this fucking body so you'll shut up about him walk around. Yeah. Dumb dingy lady. When they go into that building, was that like a little chapel or... Yeah, that had a room for someone to live in, that was gigantic? Why? There was someone who's just had been eating a salad in there. There was a salad in this building? The guy that we find dead in the basement.
Starting point is 00:25:46 Oh, I didn't know that. Oh, that guy. I didn't know who that was. Okay, fine, I was sorry, I didn't get to finish a salad. Also, that basement, or that chapel, that tiny chapel, yeah, had a basement with a basement with thirteen, ladder was treacherous. When they're walking down the stairs I was like what is this room that you're going into? I don't know. I feel like you wouldn't dig that deep in the cemetery right? I don't know. It seems like cemetery buildings shouldn't have basements but I don't know why I think that.
Starting point is 00:26:16 Shouldn't also have. Don't go down there where they are. It's a poultergase thing. That's their house. Yeah, it's their house. Eat your salad up here. You're a fucking wheel of cheese. Gotta wish I was a wheel of cheese hanging out all the time. I feel like it would go bad pretty quickly. You can't just have a wheel of cheese sitting on your table at all times. Sure. Yeah, that depends on the cheese. Nice hard cheese. It's gonna stinka. And those are cheese facts. Yep. So the cop, Craig shows up. Because, yeah, Sergeant Detective just sends Craig out, like Craig, oh Blagora, go take
Starting point is 00:26:51 care of the situation. And Craig drops his radio. Craig is fucking use. Well, he drops his radio trying to help. Yeah, because they. Who is just screaming, George, Judge, Judge, the whole time, and doing nothing to help herself. And then once she gets out, does nothing to help George. No.
Starting point is 00:27:10 What is their relationship? Although her sister did nothing to help Martin when Guthrie killed him, she stood in the background going, uh, but was she a prisoner in her own home? Was this a release for her? I honestly don't know. I don't know. Yeah. Yeah. I never thought about it from that perspective. If my husband took pictures of me naked cowering next to a bathtub and then drew them and
Starting point is 00:27:30 then hung them up in our living room, I'd probably want to move out too. You know what I mean? And moving out, it means. If it's, you got, you've to go. to go. to go. to go. to go. to go. to go. to go. to go. to go. to go. to go. to go. to go. to go. to go. to go. to go. to go. to go. to go. to go. to. to. to. to go. to. thea. thea. thea. thea. thea. thea. thea. thea. took. took. took. took. took. took. t. t. t. t. t. t. t. t. t. t. t. t. t. took. t. took. took. took. took. took. took. took. to. to. the. the. the. the. the. to. the. to. the. too. to. the. tooooooo. to. they get attacked by the three zombies now. So I love that old lady zombie is what I wanted to say. I'm sorry. Oh yeah, she's great. She's wonderful. Her nails are so gross. Uh, and her like weird bendy fingers. Yeah. So George figured or George can rub somebody else's blood on a zombie's face and it wakes them up. Right. Right. Or Guthrie, Guthrie, Guthrie, yeah. Yeah, why does that wake them up and not the ultrasonic radiation? I don't know. He's like a magician of some sort. I don't know what it is. Okay. So he wakes those two up, they're attacking.
Starting point is 00:28:14 They're great. They just keep pulling George. And he's like, he's not really resisting them, but they can't pull it's very bizarre. But he stabs Guthrie a number of times with like a the pointy end of a sign, like a sign post and it does nothing. Yeah. But he never tries to hit him in the head. He doesn't, but the cop does shoot the zombies in the head and it doesn't stop them. So all that gets him is fire. Yeah. And they're unbelievably flammable. They are, maybe they are they are the the the th. th. th. th. th. they're th. th. th. th. th. they're th. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. they're thi. thi. they're they're they're thi. they're thi. they're they're they're thi. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. It. Yeah. It's they're they're they're th. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah, that's true. They just go, thrown. That's what a fire sounds like. Mm-hmm. So they kill, well, the zombies kill Craig. Well, Craig says to George,
Starting point is 00:28:54 maybe you'll think better of the police if I can pull this off. Because he's going to run out and get gets hit in the head with a giant cross. He does get to his radio and he says, help, there are dead people in the cemetery and they're trying to kill me, which the sergeant doesn't seem to care about. And then we never hear about anything about Craig again. Oh, no, he thinks that George tried to kill him, even though Craig said it was dead, whatever, who cares. Yeah, but there's the great scene where the three zombies dig into Craig's chest. Pulls hot dogs out to the outside? Yeah, and then... Did you like how they were eating them like proper British people would eat like a tea sandwich? I thought that was a really, um, charming. They're very very like how like how like how like tha. thi-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-s. thi-s. th-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-s. tha-s. tha-s. tha-s. tha-s. tha-s. tha-sa-sa-sa-sa-sa-sa-sa-sa-sa-sa-sa-sa-sa-sa-sa-s. tha-s., yeah, I thought that was really charming. Yeah, they're very sophisticated when they're eating those obviously gross, gross things.
Starting point is 00:29:48 It's really cute. And then not only had he been disemboweled, but when they show him on the ground, his arms are like 10 feet long. Why? It's so funny looking because they've obviously dug the ground up and put his bodythere's the fake body on top of it. The proportion to the fake body are terrible. I mean for his wingspan he would literally be giant Gonzales sized. But his legs are real tiny. Yeah it's just and he was a tall guy it just makes no sense. Oh man, it was so good. So then we get to the hospital I guess. Yeah. Where? Well there's the whole like police get to the hospital, I guess. Yeah. Where...
Starting point is 00:30:25 Well, there's the whole police station scene and then George escapes. Oh, he slaps him. He slaps him. He slaps him. And George's like, I can't believe you did that. Like, you've been a kind of an asshole and someone should have slapped you. Everybody watching this is wanted to slap you,. Edna should hit you by now. Honestly. And then we get to, yeah, George escapes, then we get to the hospital where we see that doctor like doing a terrible job of giving Edna an injection.
Starting point is 00:30:52 I was like, oh, this is why he needs help with the baby, because he just doesn't know how to do this. He's no fucking there's like a coroner talking to the sergeant and the sergeant's like fucking drug crazy maniacs and the coroner's like, you know, have you heard about these Satanists? Yeah, and then suddenly it's a movie about Satanists because George has Satan art or something? Yeah, he had some like a cult art with him. And he says something dub like, well, sorry that Jesus and Mary aren't in fashion right now. Yeah, like, oh my god, guy.
Starting point is 00:31:42 Such a dick. So then we see the hospital reception skater ripped off. And then they cut off the bikini guy's bub. He gets his bub cut off. Yeah. Yeah. There's a lot of boob removals. I love the guy with the terrible chest air and his, the bikini guy if you will, and his autopsy scar down the center of them, which is just ridiculous.
Starting point is 00:32:11 He looked scary. I thought he looked scary and he moved in a scary way that I appreciated. Yeah. And then, like, where they come out of the elevator and they're getting attacked by the zombies? And the zombies are like super nonchalant while they're attacking them. Yeah, they just seemed very casual, but they moved very quickly up onto them. They like, running up next to somebody, like, hey, what's going on? Then we see Edna's sister attack her. Edna's strapped down for reasons I don't quite understand. She doesn't... She's been arrested for the crime of killing Craig.
Starting point is 00:32:47 I see. However, her sister has terrible aim at like stabbing her because she's fucking strapped down and she keeps missing. She keeps missing yet there's blood all over the film. And then she just, and then just, foopulls her hand right out, like, man, nobody is doing their fucking job in this movie. Oh, man. Then they just like try to burn the hospital down even though they're all kinds of unzombified people in it. Sure, all those babies.
Starting point is 00:33:12 All the other, well, they're aggressive. And I love that Martin has showed up at the hospital. Even though he's been run over, like all the shit's adventure. Oh yeah, I forgot he got run over. Because she went back to the house and he attacked her, and then runs over and then he's at the hospital. Is this all in one night? Oh yeah, for sure. Oh, okay. Well, it's too, it's like a two days.
Starting point is 00:33:34 Yeah. I don't know why I thought they got a hotel room. Yeah, so why was Martin still at his house? He's just wandering around. No, but why didn't they take the body to the morgue? Why would he still be at the house the next day? Because she goes back to the house. I don't know. I don't know. Do you think they were just like, well, other cops can't make it? I forget it. We're dealing with another thing, leave that body.
Starting point is 00:34:06 Yeah, right here in the yard, that seems fine. There's no parasites anymore so they can't get to it. Oh, and there's the freak out scene because the George goes to destroy the machine. Yeah. And the guys are like, we've gotten up to five miles now. Yeah. And he's like, no. Meanwhile, the George I know would probably just get in Edna's car and drive away. It's true. Like, why does he even care?
Starting point is 00:34:35 Does he like Edna? Is that what this is about? Yeah, they've become friends. There's a lot of hugging. George! When he goes back to the hospital to save her after she's been attacked by the zombies. And then it gives her a big hug. And then she's a zombie. She'd been stroking his face earlier too and I was like, don't fucking touch his face.
Starting point is 00:34:57 And then she drives away and he screams, Edna! And she can't hear him, but we don't know what he was going to tell her. And he's also standing at another car and he could have just beeped the horn to get her attention. It doesn't matter. Oh, would she drive away and he didn't have the keys to the car because he didn't check to see if the keys were over there? Oh, is that why he was yelling? Oh, that's why? He's why? He was he? He was he? He was he? He was he? He was he? He was he? He was he was he was he was he was he was he was he? He was he was he was he? He was he was he was he was the the the the the the he? Oh? Oh? Oh? He was? Oh? He was yelling? Oh? He was yelling? Yeah? He was yelling? Oh? Oh? He was yelling? He was yelling? He? He was? He was? He was? He was? He was? He was? He was? He was? He? He? He? He? He? He? He? He? He? He? He? He? He? He? He? He? He? He? He? He? He? He? He? He? He? He? He? He? He? He? He? He? He? He? He? He? He? He? He? He? He? He? He? He? He? He? He? the. the. the. the. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. the. the. the. th. the. the. the. the. the., forget it. Because they were up in Dead Craig's body. Okay, never mind. Yeah. What was she gonna do about it? I guess give him a ride. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:35:29 Yeah. Anyway, she's a zombie and he straight shoves her into a burning room and I was like, oh, I didn't see that coming. And then the cop just shoots him, I don't know, eight times? Yeah. Yeah, yeah, because he's a hippie. Yeah, he's got to die. I didn't see that ending coming at all and I was very happy about that because I thought they were just gonna like, have a gross kissing and that would be the end of it and you know I feel about that? What's the sound? What does the sound? What does the sound people make when they kiss? Do we do any? Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, I I the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the sound, I'm the sound, th. Yeah, th. Yeah, th. Yeah, I th. Yeah, th. Yeah, th. Yeah, th. Yeah, th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th, I th, I th, I th, I th, I th, I th, I th, I th, I th, I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. We have a very mature approached romance. I just hate intimacy. So the cops are like, well, we got the guy who did it. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:36:12 And there's all these like press outside. But like, why didn't they wonder why all those dead people were upstairs? Because they got the guy who did it? No. But the crime is solved. No. And the sergeant is like, I got a room at the hotel. Nice of Kinsey to walk him to his door, too. Well, you know. Kinsy, by far, the most Italian looking man in this room.
Starting point is 00:36:36 Yeah, he's like Jean Carlo Kinzee. Yeah, he goes into his room. And he goes into his room. Who's waiting for him in his room? A vengeful zombie. A vengeful George. I like the idea of like a vengeful, not just a mindless zombie, but like one who is out for a particular revenge.
Starting point is 00:36:57 I think that's a very nice little touch. But then my next question was, like, will the cop just then come back and will they just fight each other for all eternity? Is that what don't open the window too is about? Close the window. Keep the goddamn window closed. It's cold out there. Winda.
Starting point is 00:37:19 I have the note, bullets won't stop him now, pig. Oh my god. I got very aggressive. I figured that's what George was thinking. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that that that that that that that that that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's thi. thi. that's what thi. thi. thi. that's what that's what that's what that's what that's what that's what that's what that's that's that's that's that's that's that's now pig. Oh my god. I got very aggressive. I know. I figured that's what George was thinking. Yeah. Yeah. Because the interesting thing about zombies in this movie is they're not just coming after you to feed. They're mad at you. They have grudges. Yeah. But sometimes they're coming after you just to feed, then never mind. It's a little bit of both. It's events on, you know, Guthrie seems seems seems seems seems seems seems seems seems seems seems seems seems seems seems seems seems seems seems seems seems seems seems seems seems seems seems seems seems seems seems seems seems seems seems seems seems seems seems seems seems seems seems seems seems to be to be to be to be to be to be to be to be to be thi. It's a little bit of both. It depends on, you know, Guthrie seems to just be like a real, a real troublemaker. I'm number one.
Starting point is 00:37:50 Why am I here? I guess I'll wipe my blood on people and get them awake. And then we'll have a party. And then we hear the, we see the machine going. Yeah. And then the the end the end the end the end the end the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the machine, the machine, the machine, the machine, the machine, the machine, the machine, the machine, the machine, the machine, the machine, the machine, the machine, the machine, the machine, the machine, the machine, the machine, the machine, the machine, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the't make a lick of sense. No, but what zombie movies should? I mean, they go to a lot of trouble to set up that ultrasonic radiation affects the nervous systems of insects, newborns, and the dead.
Starting point is 00:38:19 Well, newborns do a very elementary nervous system. They have the same nervous system that we do as adults. Yeah, I think they're just not good at using it, you know. Sure, sure, sure. It's not like unformed. If it's unformed, you have a serious problem. They're not Brussels Sprouts and then people. Right, although in Cabbage Patch they are.
Starting point is 00:38:38 Oh, okay. So this movie takes place in the Cabbage Patch Kids universe. Right, where they're growing children. And then they spray them with this ultrasonic radiation. And then there are no pesticides. And then I don't know where I'm going with this. This joke will never end. I realize I should have said it takes place in the cabavers. Cabbage first? Cabbage verse? Patch of Verses. I can't remember the name of the guy who made all the
Starting point is 00:39:05 cabbage patch dolls but it's a good name. Oh it is a weird name right? God damn it. Should we Google it? I'm not just ask Google. Who invented cabbage patch dolls? Cabbage patch kids was invented by Xavier Roberts. Oh Xavier Roberts that's a good-ass name. God they were fucking terrifying. Oh I had a I had one that was like my that was my my that was that was that was that was that was that that that that that was that that was that that that that was that that that was that was that that was that was that was that was that was that was that was that was that was that was that was that was that was that was that was that they. that was that was that was. that was. that was. that was. that was. that was. that was. they. they. they. they. they. they. they. This is very weird.
Starting point is 00:39:33 It must be new cabbage kids. Um, Katie, do you uh, I can't do an Irish, I can't do a fake Irish accent. I'm sorry, I'm looking at pictures of Xavier Roberts. Do you want to see what he looked like? Because he kind of looks like an adult cabbage patch kid. That is, if you would ask me to describe Xavier Roberts? Is this what you would have come up with? No, me either. Garth Brooks is not the answer to that question. He's wearing th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, to th, to th, to to th. to th. to to to th. to to to to to to to th. to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to too, too, too, th, th. th. th. th. th. th. the, tho, the the the the. the. the thea. the thea. thea. the thea. thea. thea. thea. thea. thooo dead? Oh I don't know. I have a lot of questions now about Xavier Roberts. No, he's only 63. I would have pictured him looking more like duck from back
Starting point is 00:40:14 to the future. Yeah, I agree. But like in a like weird 18th century suit. Mm-hmm. I did not expect him to be wearing cowboy hats. I'm just, I'm sorry, I'm just reading his Wikipedia and I, you're gonna have to to to to to to the to the the to to the to to the the to to the to to the to the to to the the to the to the tak tak tak to the the to to the the the the their their the the their th. th. their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their the the the the the the the the the the th. th. th. the the. the. the. the. thea. thea. thea. thea. thea. thea. thea. thea. thea. thea. thea. thea. thea. th be wearing cowboy hats. I'm just, I'm sorry, I'm just reading his Wikipedia and I, you're gonna have to take the rest of the show. Oh my god, Scandal. He met an artist named Martha Nelson Thomas at a craft fair and she was making something called Doll Babies. He began reselling her products and eventually copying her designs of a quilted doll in a process known as soft sculpture. He made Brazilians of dollars and never gave her credit. What?
Starting point is 00:40:54 Is that real or is that just some like, uh, you know. There are no references. Okay. I don't think. I don't see any, uh... So this is a real Margaret Keene, Walter Keene, sort of... I don't know what that means. Those big-eyed paintings.
Starting point is 00:41:15 We're talking about. These... Oh, I don't like that. What is that? They were very popular in the 70s, 60s and 70s, and there was a woman who was painting these paintings, but the husband sold them and took credit for them. Fucking Dicks, man are the worst. Tim Burton movie about him. What's it called? Big Eyes. Okay, Tim. He's like not to be confused with my work, Big Fish.
Starting point is 00:41:34 He's like not to be confused with my work, thi. I did do. That scene where, what's the older actor, Albert Finney? Albert Finney and Jessica, Lang? Lang are in the bathtub fully clothed because he's about to die. I remember crying so hard at that. He would drown himself just a little bit, like hold his breath underwater. Oh my god, that's such a good movie. It's really nice. Yeah. Do you want to rate this movie? Yeah, I have no idea where to begin. I have no idea.
Starting point is 00:42:10 Begin in the beginning and end where it ends? This movie bad as hell. But the second half is pretty enjoyable. But the first half is such a slog. Yeah. You hate every character. There's no one to root for, but it doesn't matter because literally everyone dies. Yeah. Six. Okay. Yeah, it's where we're met. All right. You? I really enjoyed this movie. I got this movie in a boxed set of zombie movies that I bought years ago. Of course I did. Of course I did. Of course you did. And uh, yeah, it's just, I don't know. I love, I love the atmosphere of it and I think the cinematography is really good. I think it looks beautiful.
Starting point is 00:42:49 It is really nicely shot. Um, and it reminds me of all those like, Spanish and Italian horror movies of that time period, like the faulty stuff and the Argento stuff and even like, um, oh, uh, the what are you trying to see? Well, describe it to me and I'll tell you what it is. Tombs of the Blind Dead. That's what I'm doing. I wasn't gonna come up with that. I was gonna say spaghetti western. Also beautiful, spaghetti westerns. I don't really know. I've never seen one. We hate a Western, don't you? Yeah. All right. West is boring. So much sand. Saloon doors. It's so blah. It's so beige. You know? Everyone's so dusty. I honestly think it's the aesthetic of everything being beige that I just don't want to watch it. Is that wrong? I think that might be wrong. No, it's just not your style man. Like people really like Deadwood? Yeah. Prop loves deadwood. And I'm like I can't watch
Starting point is 00:43:51 that. It's just so ugly. I just think about how bad it would smell. Yeah. It's 90 degrees and you're wearing three layers of wool. And Saturdays are bath day. And you haven't fucking stank it stanking the place up. Yeah. Yeah. Stanking it up. I'm gonna give this movie a nine. I really love it. Oh my god.
Starting point is 00:44:13 How dare you give Congo a four and this a nine? Do you not see they are the same film? There is... Confusing plot lines. Confusing plot lines. There's a killer. No likable characters. Just kidding, Laura Lenny rules.
Starting point is 00:44:33 And so does Tim Curry and so does Ernie Hudson. Actually, that's a better movie. Yeah, I just, I chose this movie because I've just been like, I just want to watch an old, dumb, zombie movie. In God, did you succeed? Yeah. Yeah. This is my wheelhouse for zombie movies.
Starting point is 00:44:52 I don't like, I don't like, the wheelhouse for the to'eem thi. What's too serious? Like, like, a walking dead and all that shit like I just want like Is that the end of the walking dead? I mean that's the whole like the zombies like become like secondary to like humans killing each other. Oh really? That sounds like a terrible television program. Yeah, who's watching that? People love watching people murder each other. I mean I do too I guess.
Starting point is 00:45:17 The Ted Bundy tape just came out and everyone's going ballistic. I I I I I I I I I I their their their their thee. I thee. I thee. I thee. I th. I th. I th. I have the. He was so fucking charming and it's just, I can't, I like have such a hard time with him. Not to diverge too far into this, but Zach Ephron is playing him in a movie. Oh really? And people were like up in arms because you're like, you're playing him and you're making him charming, attractive. What? What's something next to me? I can't remember? I the the th. I the th. I th. Read and rule who what is it other what something next next to me I can't remember what the name of that book is but she like worked with him and knew him and knows a ton about crime and never suspected until like the very end. Yeah him he was a handsome charming, likable man.
Starting point is 00:46:03 I'm in Richard Ramirez who was also like... He had that jacked up girl though. Yeah but he was like he was like he was like he was like he was like he was like he was like he was like he was like he was like he was like he was like he was like he was like he was like he was like he was like he was like he was like he was like he was like he was like he was like he was like he was like he was like he was like he was like, he was like, he was like, he was like, he was like, he was like, he was like, he was like, he was like, what, what something, what something, what something, the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the th. Yeah, but he was like, he was like, he had this like magnetism about him. He's kind of, yeah, you know what I love about Richard Ramirez, the end of his story is that he, so basically he was cornered, and he was in a residential neighborhood and some people saw this guy saw him Realized he was the night stalker and sent his sons down the street to chase down Richard Ramirez
Starting point is 00:46:31 They tackle him other neighbors come out of their house. This whole mob of people are just beating the shit out of Richard Ramirez and he later said that like if the police hadn't come they would have beaten me to death Probably like fucking vigilante justice killed 14 people. I love that. I love. It was it it. It was it was it was. It was. It was. It was. It was. It was. It was. It was. It was. It was just. Died up cancer in jail. Yeah. Oh, his teeth though.
Starting point is 00:46:56 Oh, I can't, you were a fucking evil. He's crazy, and he has that like weird like, perm, too. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. But I know some ladies that find him very attractive. I believe that. He's sort of swarthy. Yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:47:15 Yeah, yeah. Uh, the to say. I don't I never got into serial killers they were never my I like a weird true crime like disappearances and like where is Mara Murray who know we'll never know where fucking Mara Murray is it's killing me inside. That's a Scientologist lady. No Mara Murray is a Boston University student who went missing in 2004 in like the hills of this mountain like tiny town. She wrecked her car but all the stuff had happened previously where she had like like th th th like th like th like th th like th th like th th th th like th th th th th th th th th the th th th th the the th th the th the th. like the the the the the the the th. th. the th. tru. true. true. Starting point is 00:47:51 she was driving her dad's car. It's like all this weird stuff, you know? And she has never been seen again. Oh, and there was such a small window of time for her to the to disappear. like like like, like, like, like, like, and the the the the the the, and the to the, and to to to to to to to to to to to her. to her. to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the th thi.. the thi.. the the the th thi. the thr. the thi. the toooo and like literally minutes later she was gone. It seems the child will stop at nothing to exact the dwarf's revenge. 1975, the home decoruette the home the home. The home. The the home. The the home. The the home.
