Because that bitch is wearing a cape. Looks amazing. Everything about her is amazing in this movie.

Her clothes, the decor, everything. Wearing a cape. I was wearing mesh basketball shorts and a diaper for like a week. Wow. Yeah, it just got real in here. I think you just went hard in the paint with that one. So, the movie opens on Joan Collins giving birth, and they are providing her with the least sympathetic care I have ever seen. It seems like she might be, I don't know, a death row prisoner giving birth and they're

so mad about it. I felt like she was into it when she was giving birth. It was a little orgasmic birth. That is an actual thing. Oh, okay. I was going to ask you about that. Yes, it is. Yeah, Donald Pleasance, I have the note, Donald Pleasant is the most nonchalant. He's just, also like, if you are giving birth and it's going badly, the doctor says, well, this one just doesn't want to be born. Like, that is a really bad bedside manner.

I can't imagine a world where you're handed that line and go, Wurt? All right. They were like, we gotta get the title, one of the titles, and there somewhere. Oh, this just doesn't want to be Sharon's baby. No. Who is Sharon? I'm looking to know. What is the name of Sharon in this movie? We find out... Lucy. We find out that it is a 12-pound baby, which is a ridiculous.

There's no way a 12-pound baby is coming out of your vagina. It's just not. It can't. I don't believe that for a moment. It's very big, very big boy. A big strong boy. He's such a big strong boy. And one point Donald Pleasant says, he's very heavy and very well developed. You're looking at that baby's dick? But you're just talking about his huge guns,

because he's such a big, strong baby. As soon as the baby's born, it's attacked Joan Collins. I love that baby. I love him. First of all, that baby is extremely stinking cute. It's such a cute baby. Those cheeks. And they're like trying to make, they like light him to make him look evil. And he's just like, it's not, they can't make it work.

So what do they do instead? They cut in the dwarf with a wearing a bonnet in a crib! What? Also, can we say dwarf? That's what they call him, but I don't think that's what we're supposed to say. Is it little person? I don't know. Okay, dwarf is considered acceptable. Okay.

And also his sister. Albana, the Italian, played by Eileen Atkins. They're doing such a wildly different accent. She comes in and they're like, ah, spaghetti, spaghetti, spaghetti.

They keep going to have drinks.

They keep going to have drinks every time a new person shows up, they're like, let's have a drink. Her friend, the other stirper comes over and she's like, I don't normally drink before breakfast or something and then they both just start drinking. What? And Joan Collins has like a face full of makeup, her hair is quaffed and she's wearing skintight clothing and I just feel like, come on. Come on. I do. Oh my k. I'm not a strip club guy, never really endeavored. No. Do they have long build-ups before the stripping part happens?

Of like people, like, because in the flashback sequence, there's like a long team duo dance routine between Hercules, who is the Little Person, and Joan Collins, that goes on for five minutes. Yeah, I don't know. I don't know if there are a lot of scenes at strip clubs, but I think no. I don't think so. I don't think so. Because we see it again later when Hercules is dying. They're doing like a chorus line. I just don't know how strip clubs work I guess. Yeah. But then when we see him auditioning strippers, they're just stripping. They're like dancing terribly. I feel like that was a sad moment in this movie was those women trying to

dance. Yeah. But they're just taking their clothes off. Yeah there's no, no sticks. Do you have the note note that that that that that that that that that that th. When Mandy comes over and they're talking and she's like, oh, you got Gino, that's so great. I gotta find me a man before I bump and grind myself to death. What if that's what killed you? She died as she lived, bumping and grinding.

They just find her corpse on a pole. Just bump, still bumping, like lightly bumping, and also a little bit of grinding. What the fuck? To death. To death. Call the corner, we got another one. So while, while Mandy is there, we hear crashing coming from upstairs because the baby has been left alone in his crib again. I'd be so fucking pissed if I were him. in a room. They run upstairs and find that the baby has totally trash the room and then gotten back into bed and covered himself with a blanket. And it's just looking so adorable. So adorable. She's like, oh, we should roll him over. He shouldn't be on his stomach, but he's literally sleeping with a pillow and blanket. Like, it's just... Also he got out to move stuff around.

I think he's okay. He's fully mobile. Yeah, they, they like want you, the premise of this film is that a newborn has, I don't know, has the ability to do whatever he wants. Well, you won't see that, but we'll tell you about it. The newborn is an old born. An old born, because as we find out, he's been cursed. So in the flashback, Joan, in a terrible voiceover, like the most disinterested voiceover.

This must have been done months after the movie was made. So yeah, I'm dancing with Hercules and I go back and I take all my clothes off and Hercules comes in and he starts groping me and I egged him on. Nope, no you didn't. No you didn't. No. The misogyny in this movie is just a mw-uh. I mean it was the 70s I guess. And the dude that she's having an affair with? Tommy, Tommy.

He's super gross. At one point after they were having so many drinks, I have a note, I'm gonna get a drink. So'm going to get a drink. So I went and got myself a drink. What did you get? Just a little cider. Just have a little cider. And then that led to me possibly making the shittiest note of my notes.

Please. Tobby looks like a horse became a man. He does. He has a very long face. He was also wearing a suit jacket that I found to be very interesting, which is that it was horizontally striped. And I wondered if it was supposed to like broaden him out a little because he looks like he looks like he got caught in elevator doors and just got smushed there. He looks like one of those cartoon characters in a Warner Brothers cartoon that would turn sideways and disappear.

Yes, that is exactly what he looks like. Oh my God. He's so skisie- He He's so bleu. Just disgusting. Oh man. So the baby keeps attacking Joan and like scaring her and she's dropping milk all over the place. Sister Sister. I haven't heard her in my notes only as science nun. Because what science is she doing? Just like rat science. And like why do they have a lab in this convent? What? Of course they do. They do not.

Because Dr. Nunn is on the job. She goes up and blesses the baby and it starts crying? Yeah. I was like, this baby rules. Still the same way about Catholicism. This also happens at the baptism, which the most notable thing there is that one of Jones' friends is just wearing an enormous white fur code to a baptism, which is a very good look. So one interesting thing is I was like, oh, this has given me like omen vibes.

This movie predates the omen. Wow. Wow. I wonder if they like got a hold of the script and were like, we're going to make it first. Maybe, yeah, yeah, yeah. Uh, I have something that, this is like a shitty exorcist. When was, like, the bad seed? I feel like this was really trying to capitalize on like bad children, you know. And it does it so poorly.

But in those movies, it's always like, uh, you could at least get the kid to give you like an err, yeah. Or like, just to be very manipulative or something. And this is just literally a tiny, adorable baby wearing a fuzzy romper. It is so fucking cute. So the bad team was 56. Okay, yeah. So yeah, so it wasn't even like popular at the time. So Donald Pleasance keeps showing back up throughout this movie? What is happening to his face in this movie? His eyes are always open very wide but he's not moving the rest of his face? And he's talking in the worst monotone.

This is on level with his performance in a movie that you enjoy saying the title of. Puma man. Yeah. Yeah. It's just, they keep trying to get him to help them figure out what's wrong with the baby. And he's like, well, we took some tests te te te te te te them figure out what's wrong with the baby and he's like well we took some tests and then 15 minutes later he's like well the tests came back like you have not even left the room. Did your family have a history of epilepsy? No? No we don't. Yeah it couldn't be that anyway. What the fuck kind of doctor are you? Why did you bring it up? Are they chloroforming this baby? What are they doing? This week old baby. It's crazy. And they also have this, like a housekeeper, Mrs. Hyde, who I think you're supposed to relate to on some level, and she hates the baby. But it's like, I feel like even the actor can't look at the baby and be like boy I wish you'd never been born. It's just this cute little stinker. Can we talk about the poster for this movie real quick? Love to. Have you seen this

poster? I have. It is, can I just describe it? It is a black and white Joan Collins face screaming in front of a lightning-struck sky. This is the background. The foreground is a man's forearm and hand holding a pair of scissors, I think, bloody scissors. Yeah, yeah. But the forearm changes into the torso and legs of a tiny, chunky baby. It is exceptional.

What? Yes. It's so good. It's exceptional, just like this film. It definitely looks like someone explained Joan Collins to somebody, but did not give them a photograph. Oh, no, no, yeah, that's not really. Yeah, no. It's like, I wondered if this was like a terravision where give them a photograph. Oh no, no, yeah, that's not really, yeah, no. It's like, I wondered if this was like a tear vision where they had the poster and were like,

I guess we write a script now? I mean, I can't imagine that that was like the idea. Draw me some Jane Collins and a baby fist baby. Baby fist baby with scissors and a man's hand. Oh man. So what we learn in the flashback is that because Joan Collins has spurned the Hercules advances, he curses her and says something like your womb will bear a child as big as I am small, as strong as I am weak or something like that? Because he has fucking powers? Why does he have powers and if he has powers why is he working in his club?

Why? He runs them ladies. I guess loves ladies. He does love ladies. He does love ladies. So the baby is big and strong because of this and it just goes ahead and drowns its nurse, his nurse. That is fucking hilarious because the nurse is like, I was just washing him, and then my head was in the water. I don't know what happened. And it's, no, and she, the Joan Collins is like, well, why were you giving him a bath at this time anyway? And the nurse is like, basically he shudd himself.

Do you think he should himself on purpose? Like for most of this movie, there is no baby and they're just handling like a plank of wood, I think, in place with a baby. It's like a bundle of clothes. It's so bad. When the baby pushes her into the water, and the cops show up because there's the lady with dogs. Oh, right, yeah. The dogs are set up like they're ominous and they're like two golden retrievers. You're like, they're fucking adorable.

Yeah, they're like sniffing out the problem. I wonder if this movie is akin to in Hellraiser where Clive Barker fears all puzzles. This movie fears all cute things. Yeah. A movie in which tiny babies and cute dogs are the bad tha thoes, tho tho tho tho tho tho tho tho tho tho tho thi thi thi thi thi thi thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, tho, tho, tho, thi, the the thi, tho, the tho, the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the th. We are making that movie. And snuggles the bear keeps trying to kill everybody. Call Charles Band and get this fucker made. I bet he would love this if it was set in old California. How are you going to get titties into this? Because everyone thinks titties are great, right? But maybe they can be weaponized in some way. I, I, I, I, a thing I really like in this movie is the baby hands doing things like ominously, like the baby hand comes up out of the pram and like looks like it's pushing

her, it's just a baby's hand. I also love when the baby's hand has to be articulate and do a thing, it's Hercules, it's a thi. And I couldn't tell they were like, oh, you're supposed to realize that it's Hercules, it's inhabiting a baby, or- You are absolutely not supposed to realize that. I think they were like, who here has small hands? You, guy, get in here. I also love a lot of the dialogue in this movie,

like when they're doing genetic testing. It's like, genetic testing, my parents are fine. And I've met yours, they're lovely. Sir? That's all no geneticist is? No, I didn't know, nothing is. He also keeps going, a baby, a baby. This like, thick, shitty Italian accent. A baby, a baby! Oh my god.

It's just, every scene gets weirder and better than the last. How did? So the baby pushes the nanny into the water. Yeah. Lady with the dogs finds the baby. Brings the Monty Python skit police to show up. Yes, the bobbies, if you will. How did they figure out who owned

that baby? I thought about this, and my only thing that I could think of is like maybe the nurse had identification on her and she was from an agency or something. Okay. And so they were, they called the agency and were like, who's fucking baby? Because the next scene is the baby. Yeah, the next scene is the baby. Yeah, the baby. Yeah, the baby. the baby.
