Starting point is 00:00:00 So, it was brought to my attention that last week's episode I kept referring to this movie as Hell House 2, LLC, not Hellhouse LLC 2, but I have to say, I think it's a better title. Hellhouse 2, LLC. What do you think? Yeah, I mean, um, I think it's a better title. Hellhouse 2, LLC. What do you think? Yeah, I mean, I can see the argument for both sides in this. It's name is Hell Hell LLC to. Hell House 2. Hell House 2.
Starting point is 00:00:39 Hell House 2. I'm not wrong. It makes me think that there was a Hellels, Hells 2 and then they went for the HL2. Yeah, they moved that into a limited liability company. What are we talking about? We're talking about a Hell LLC 2? God, I knew you weren't going to give it to me. This is the sequel to the movie we did two weeks ago, also by Cognetti's. So many Cognetties. I had to go back and make sure it was the same Congetti
Starting point is 00:01:10 that did the first one, that did the second one, because they feel very different for me. In what way? This one is a lot sillier. It's a lot sillier. It still has some of the good aspects of the first movie, tho though, don, don, don, don, don, don, don, don, don, don't, th, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, the the the thi, thi, thi, the the thi, the the the the the the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the th, the thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, the thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi. thi. thi. theean, thi. thi. thean, thi. thi. thean, thi, thi, the movie though, don't you think? It does, but it's, it's stepped down in a couple, a couple categories. It's been taken down a couple of bags. I mean, I guess with all sequels, you expect some level of, I don't know. Of Poulter Guy's Tewing?
Starting point is 00:01:40 Yeah, right, but not to the level of Pulitzer Guy Swing, because that's actually a phthing. Because God, that movie's bad. Some people were saying to us that they think this movie is better than the first one. Wow, interesting. Yeah. And maybe it's because you have fun watching this movie. Because it's inversely.
Starting point is 00:01:59 Should we talk about it? Yeah, let's get into this movie. this movie. this movie. this movie. thia. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. thin, thin, thin, thin, thin, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. thi, thi, thi. thi. thi. toe. toe. toe. toe. toe. toe. toe. toe. to. to. to. to. to, toe. toe. thi. thi. thi. thi. get into this. Okay, this movie opens on a woman who is being interviewed for a documentary, because documentaries. One of the 11 documentaries is going on simultaneously. This is levels of documentaries. I don't know why that has to be such a running theme in these movies, but it is. And I think the third one is also a documentary, or like a reality show maybe? Not to break this down too early. But there were there were there were there were there were the the there were the the the the the the the their th we th we were th we were thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi. thi thi. thi. tho tho tho tho thoes. thoes. thoes. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. the. the. the theeooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooe. the. the. the. the. think the third one is also a documentary, or like a reality show maybe. Not to break this down too early, but there were a couple times that I was like, what is this documentary?
Starting point is 00:02:29 Like, there's a couple things when the woman, which comes up very, very early on in the movie, the woman's like, my son, we have video footage of him going to the house before he was, he is 43 years old, and he sounds like Billy Eichner, Billy on the street, and he's just running around going, what is this? What's going on? Who is over here now? It's so ridiculous, like the movie opens on this woman, tearfully describing her missing son. You expect him to be a teen. He is absolutely not. It's me running around her.
Starting point is 00:03:14 I would argue that woman's the best actor at the movie. Oh, without a doubt. She's really good, yeah, and then we never see her again. I was like, oh, it oh this one's a comedy they're doing a comedy this time. I think so I think some of it for sure. Some of it yeah. Sorry come out of the box yelling on that one but just who is it? What's going on? Jackson? Did you like the footage of Jackson as a small child saying the hotel opens in 2009 tell everybody?
Starting point is 00:03:47 I have the note, this kid is my favorite thing in this movie. Oh yeah. And he's also playing Paul's song on his little Cassio. Dung, dung, dun, dun, dun, du. It's a Paul song. He just turns her and goes, the hotel's gonna open in 2009, tell everybody. And his mom's like, what did you say? And he's like, nothing. I didn't say anything.
Starting point is 00:04:08 But he's smiling the whole time. He said, they were like, Brian, wipe that smirk off your face. And he was like, okay. And they were like, action. He was like, hey. I would have watched Jackson, young Jackson's movie. Actually, I would have watched older Jackson's movie too. That movie would be hilarious. He's much less good than the actor who's playing his mother.
Starting point is 00:04:35 They say it's all in the jeans, but I guess not. No, I guess not. Uh, there's also in his, so there's found footage of him getting attacked by a cultist, because it stands up behind him, which I thought was a little much. And it's like 10 feet tall. Yeah, it's a little dramatic. Yeah. But like where how do they get that footage? That was texted to somebody? So yes, yeah, that his mom kept getting emails she was getting the, you should all come here. We're all here for dinner. They don't have eyes. That's right. That's a weird. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. that. that. that. that. that. that. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. that that that that th. dinner, they're all here for dinner, they don't have eyes. That's right. That's a weird factoid to throw out there, Jackson. No one's going to come.
Starting point is 00:05:10 Not going to bring people in. And she's like, they trace it, the text message came from inside the hotel. And I was like, can you trace where a text me text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text message. I to. to. I to. I to. I to. to. I to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. that. that. that. that. that. that. that. that. that. that. that. that. that. that. that. that. that. that. that. that. that. that. that. Wi-Fi. Yeah, that was like, okay, it's definitely a comedy. This is just silly right here. Like, it's so funny. Yeah. That's where, and then they're, like, that's where? And then they're, like, when Jackson's running around,
Starting point is 00:05:39 I just have the note who is this nerd? Oh, because I was just like, what is going on? Right. Why is he there? And he's never referenced again, except for the little baby jacks. But that's right, the same time period. Right. And then there's like 50 other videos
Starting point is 00:05:53 of kids running around and getting lost in there. Right. And we have all of the guy on the stairs, just like the lower half of someone's body. Oh, and they paranormal activity did it? Yes. I did like that. But I also liked that the person standing on the stairs was clearly wearing a wedding ring and light was glinting off of it and I was like, that cultist is married. That's nice. I hope they're enjoying a satisfying partnership. Was the implication there that the thing that wasn't was was was was was was was was was was was was was was was th. th. th. th. th. th. thi. thi. the thi. thi. the thi. thi. I was they. they. I was, they. they. their. their, I'm, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their. their. their. their. their. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah...................................................................... the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the that the thing that wasn't talking was talking to him? I don't know. When he's like, I'm sorry, I'll leave now. Oh yeah, yeah, yeah, I guess so. But he also says that kid says, Yit, eh?
Starting point is 00:06:33 And I'm meant to ask you what yeat means, do you know? I don't, I don't either. I feel like we should have the sowneakhaphaphaphaphaphaphapha tho, tho, tho, tho, because, becauseto us by now. It should have trickle down, yeah. I assume it's a sex term. I don't know. Do you guys know what eat means? If so, write in. We're not going to Google it. Can you let us know? Thank you. I have a surprising lack of notes for this movie. Oh good. Yeah. Katie, take the reins. All right. So now th. I I I I I I I th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. I the the the the the the the the the the the th. I have th. I Oh good, because I have a billion. Oh, good. Yeah. Katie, take the reins. All right, so now we cut to morning mysteries with Susie McCombs. Everybody's name in this movie sounds like they just went to name generator. they were like, that'll do.
Starting point is 00:07:17 Oh, I accidentally went to Wutang Name Generator. I'm bastard Harbor. from Bestered Vestard and Harbor Master. I fucked up. Susie is doing a spot about the Abadon Hotel and she has some guests as a panel in her studio. She's got Arnold Tasselman, who I think is there is built as the county controller or something. Yeah, like a comp troller. Yeah, but that's a financial job, so I'm not sure why he's representing the town. We've got Mitchell Kavanaugh. Oh, the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the, oh, the, th. Oh, th. Oh, th. Oh, th. Oh, th. Oh, th. Oh, th. Oh, th. Oh, th. Oh, th. Oh, the, the, the, the, the, the, Yeah, but that's a financial job, so I'm not sure why he's representing the town. We've got Mitchell Kavanaugh of the of the first movie briefly. He is Diane's assistant. He's so upset about Diane's death he does
Starting point is 00:07:55 not care that that other guy died. No one gives a shit about Jonathan or whatever. In his defense I didn't remember that more than two people went in there. Oh really? Yeah. Well, maybe he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th thi the the the the thi thi thi the the the the the the th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th th th th th th thi thi thi thi thi thi thi that's thi that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's theeea theeea thea thi thi thi th more than two people went in there. Oh really? Yeah. Yeah. Well, maybe he forgot to. I thought Jonathan was the cameraman, but it turns out it was Mitchell. I don't know. No, Mitchell was never. Well, so that's what I think happened. I think at the end of the first movie, Diane and Jonathan were call him. I don't the ta. the camera. the camera. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. the. th. th. th. he's he's he's hee. hee. he's he's he's he he he he hee. hee. hee. hee. hee. hee. hee. he. he. he. he. he. he. he. he. he. he. he. he. he. he. he. he. he. he. he. he. he. he. he. he. he. th. th. he. he. he. he. th. he. he. th. th. th. th. th. he. th. th. he's he's he's he he he's he he he he he he he he he he. calls her. He's not there. I don't think he's ever been in the hotel. He's just seen all the tapes. Is that, so him, okay, I thought he had been there because they kept saying you know this hell hotel better than anyone on earth. Right, because he's seen the tapes, but they also keep saying, he also keeps saying, he also keeps saying, I'm thi th saying, th saying, th saying, th saying, th saying, th saying, the thi sa saying, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, the hotel the hotel the hotel the hotel the h the h the h the h the h the h the h the h the h the h the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi. thi. thi. theauoauaua'a'a'a'a'a'a'a'a, thea, thea about this. I've seen every episode of Mash. I don't think I'm an expert on the layout of the match camp. Oh boy. So wait, wait, you're forgetting the third guy. Brock Davies. I love Brock Davies.
Starting point is 00:08:59 He's so extra and so spectacular. One thing I really love about Brock Davies is that he's making this movie and next week movie, Next Week's movie, a Brock Block for us. Why? Because one of the characters in next week's movie, his real name is Brock Simpson. No, that's not a real name. He was also, well, we'll get into that. Okay. But we have a Brock block. Brock is the name you always make up to make fun h h h hunk hunk hunk the the the the th a hunk hunk hunk to to to to the to to to to the to to to to the the to to th. the to the to th. th. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. the the th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. I. I. th. the the th. th. I. th. th. th. th. I. I. t. t. t. too. too. te. too. too. too. te. too. too. te. the the the too. the the the t. that. Okay. But we have a Brock Block that we're going through. Brock is the name you always make up to make fun of hunky men. It's for one kind of dudes.
Starting point is 00:09:29 Fulking Brock. Brook. This is where I have the note, is this an S&L skit? It looks like a such a shitty green screen. They're on a green scheme. The house is floating behind, it's moving the whole time. And then there's a glitch in the film, so it's like moving, moving, dang, and it comes back going, when she's doing the on location filming and she's like, even our cameras picked up something.
Starting point is 00:09:54 And there's a dude standing on the porch. That guy was just out there having a smoke? Like, what was that cult is doing on the front porch. Oh hey it's 1030, it's my break. He like saw the newsman pull up and he was like ah shit and then he was like I'm finishing my smoke. I got yelled at by some 40 year old earlier. What the hell is this? What have it? So the three of these three men are being interviewed by Susie McCombs for for her show about the Abadon Hotel and we it's revealed immediately because Mitchell calls Arnold Tasselman a dick. I've one comment and one question my comment this guy's a tick. I loved that.
Starting point is 00:10:36 Those again it's a comedy right they're just fucking with me. I think so and then Arnold Tasselman starts describing the events of Hellhouse LLC1. T. T, the th, th, the th, the the the th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, thi thi thi thi thi thi, thi, thi thi thi think so. And then Arnold Tasselman starts describing the events of Hell House LLC 1, Hellhouse 1 LLC, where he says something like, Alex hanged himself. Sarah is the smart one, she got out. He was like, Tony probably died in the whatever. And I was like, fucking Tony. He still has a probable death. Like, we still, not even a real the the the, the the, the the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, the, the the, thi, thi, thi, thi, th. th. th. th. th. thi, thi, tho, tho, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, th. I th. th. th. th. I th. th. I th. th. I th. th. I th. th. th. th. th. th. th. Again, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, the, thi. theaa thea. thea. thea. thea. thea, th still not even a real death for Tony have you have you watched the third one yet no have you oh no I have not well so we don't know if Tony comes back in
Starting point is 00:11:14 the third like fucking Taco Bell like oh shit oh man it's been years but where are my friends my friends? So is this one we then cut to the other documentary that's being done by the, like, Vice magazine type? Yeah. Or I guess Vice TV at this point or whatever, but like, they took down a senator. Yeah, several state senators, according to the little words that popped up on the screen. I unfortunately can't remember their names,
Starting point is 00:11:51 but the blonde actress is fine. She's fine. Molly! I mean. So we know that, oh, Mitchell. Mitchel Kavanaugh, is of like Eastern European descent and every once while his accent breaks. I love it when it does. Sometimes Molly's does.
Starting point is 00:12:12 Really? I didn't notice that. She got like, her accent got weird. Where is she from? I don't know. She is very hard to watch, I would say. She's just like, it's like she forgot that she was acting at some point?
Starting point is 00:12:29 And then she's like, oh, wait, I'm gonna go back up. Yeah, like the character is very skittish and frightened, which is fine. That's a character you need in a movie, but she's playing it like, thanically. You know what I mean? Just that initial, like, yeah, I guess, thu, thu, thu, thu, thu, thu, thu, thu, thu, thu, thu, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, that's that's that's that's, that's, that's, that's, that's, th. th. thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, th. thi, th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. It, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, that's, that's, that's, that's like, that's like, like, that's like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, that's like, like, like, that's like, that's like, like, that's like, that's like, that's? Just that initial like... Yeah, I guess they were just like, you have to be scared. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:12:47 And so she just like, out of the gate is like, I don't know. I don't know. They were like, you have to be scared. Okay, action and she just went, Ah! Who is that guy? Who is that guy?
Starting point is 00:13:01 Like, what is cut? I could, I, I, I, I, I, I could not figure her out. No, and the point is, none of it matters. Also, her relationship with her boyfriend, I like, they were fucking insufferable. What was the conversation that they were at the bar, diner, whatever the fuck they were? You mean, hand bones? Did it look like hand bones? I've never been inside of ham bones.
Starting point is 00:13:22 I've only ever petted a goat outside of ham bones.. Great bar. They're like, we cut it in a conversation and she's like, well I just didn't want my parents to know you have tattoos because they would be all upset and you've got to hide you and I just don't want you to be weird. Just don't be weird. He's like talking about how she's from the town like like th th th f th th th th th th th th tho tho tho tho tho tho tho tho tho tho tho tho tho tho tho tho tho tho tho tho tho tho tho tho thi. thi tho- tho- to to to to tho- tho- tho- tho- tho-I tho-I tho-I thi, thi, thi, thi, to to to to to to to to to to to to to to th th to th th thi thi thi thi the the the to the to to the to the to to to the to to toooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo to to to's from the town like that footloose is it. It's just like, they're trying to humanize these characters in the like least plausible ways. It's that scene that you hate of like the chumminess before the horror. So you're supposed to like them. And then they're like slow dancing in the bar. And I just think that's really obnoxious. If there's there's there's not there's not there's not there's not there's not there's not there's not there's not there's not there's not there's not there's not their's not their's not their's not their's not their's not their's not their's not th. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. that's not that's not that's not that's not that's not that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's not that's not that's not that's not that's not that's not that's not that's not th. thi. thi. thi. thi. their's not their's not their's not their's not their's not their's not their's not their's not their their their their their thi. their thi. thi. their gets up from the table, comes around and sits so she's facing Mitchell. Yeah. And you could tell the director was like,
Starting point is 00:14:09 we got to reframe this, gonna reframe it so we got them in the frame and back behind you guy. She's like, this is weird. Why wouldn't you just turn to the guy you're sitting next to him and start dogging together. I figured there was an old smooterino going to happen at some point. I think he was maybe in love with Diane. That's that's my theory. And that's why he doesn't care about Jonathan. That's not a good reason to not care about your colleague's death. If I love one person I have to not care about another person. That's one for one for one that's that's th one th one th one th one th. It th. It th. It's th. It's th. It's th. It's th. It's th. It's th. It's th. It's th. It's th. It's th. It's th. It's th. I th. I the thi. It's their their their their their their their their their their their is. I their is. I their is. I their is. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I thi. I learned that this news magazine or whatever the fuck it is that they're doing also films everything, which is very convenient because it's just like Hill House. We never turn it off, never turn the camera off.
Starting point is 00:14:56 Can you turn the camera off? Oh, you got it. He's like, I even take with that thing, but you're gonna turn it off when Mitchell asks you too? I don't believe that. He's definitely a guy who videotapes himself shitting. What do you do with that tape afterwards? Yeah, no. I don't know, but he does it. Do you think he puts it on and watches it while he's shitting? And then it just becomes like a shitting inception. Never mind. And no. And seen. So they're all going to sneak into the house in
Starting point is 00:15:26 documentary number three. Right. They're going to sneak into the back of the back of the hellhouse. Right. Because what is her name? Blonde Lady? Oh, Jessica. Jessica has received an anonymous letter saying that Andrew Tully had left documents in the refrigerator at the hotel. Oh, also in all of the documentary footage that we've seen previously of the Ye to Boys yelling on Facebook. What does it mean? I probably shouldn't use it since I don't know what it means. I know. We could be saying anything right now. Conyanny! Every time they get near the house, the doors open up. Yeah, it's very welcoming the Abadon Hotel.
Starting point is 00:16:07 So then we also, there's also this other cut scene that we see at this point, I think while they're, because the shots of them talking about going to Abadon are also intersplaced with shots with shots of the panel on the morning show. And then those are being spliced with the shots of, I guess this is the fourth documentary, because you've got Susie's show, you've got Jessica's show, you've got the people filming themselves,
Starting point is 00:16:32 and you've got the documentary who are watching. It's a lot of documentaries. So there's this couple who are leaving a fashion show, and they see a hitchhiker on the side of the road and they pick her up because it's cold. Yeah. And they're filming her and they just keep going, like if anybody called me sweetie that much I think I would want their heads too, you know what I mean? I would just fucking roll out of that car like, sweetie, honey, sweetie, sweetie, honey. I feel like the conned yet is a gay person. I feel like the thi s swee sweet sweet sweet sweet sweet sweet sweet sweet sweet sweet sweet sweet the like the like the like the the the they sweet they sweet they sweet they sweet they sweet the they sweet they sweet they. I they. I they. I they sweet th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I thi the thi the the. I the. I the. I thi thi the thi the thi thi thi ettys may not have known a gay person.
Starting point is 00:17:05 We need to know that you're gay, so just keep calling everybody, sweetie. Call everybody, sweetie, have been coming from a fashion show. Mm-mm. A little... Yeah. Anyway, so she, uh, she wants to be dropped off at the Abadon Hotel. They drop her off and she runs inside, and they're like, better go after. Oh, why the fuck would you do that? Well, she, uh, sweetie, that hotel's been closed for years now. I checked in on October 8th.
Starting point is 00:17:30 It's September 30th. That's how they talk. It's really, I'm not doing that to be mean. No, it's like, yeah. And she's like, yeah. And she's like, they're filming her in the backseat, but her face is like completely in shadow. And I wondered why, like, he didn't just move the camera? Anyway. So they follow her into the basement. Yeah. And then she turns around and she goes, eh? And she has big blue eyes. Yeah. And then we see that one of the bodies that was never found was of this teenage girl. And they show like the picture of her like, I I I the the the the the the the the the the th, th, th, th, th, th, th, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, they. And, they. And, they. And, they. And, they. And, they. And, th. And, they. So, they. So, they. So. So. So. And, like, like, like the picture of her like I don't know high school photo next to the still of the demon and it thoughts like a nice shot. Is this the
Starting point is 00:18:09 first time we find out that there were seven bodies that were never found? I think so yeah. Okay. Okay. And then but which is it's fine that's a cool idea whatever. Sure. Then it goes to like a black title screen which says it was It was rumored that she hitchhiked there. And I was like, Cognetti, why you do this? You don't have to do this. If there's a nose, I'm getting on it. Yeah. Oh, hey. I have so many notes that start with ha ha ha.
Starting point is 00:18:34 Ha, ha, I'm so many notes that start with ha ha. Ha, ha, I'm glad you were enjoying yourself. Ha ha ha, morning mystery lady, ha ha, the kid playing piano. Why don't you like the morning mystery lady? Oh, Katie. Tell me, is it because she's a great actress? She's like, what does a local newsperson sound like? Oh, they sound like this at all times. That's not wrong. It's true. It's true.
Starting point is 00:19:01 But it's just like, a fire. A fire in Homewood. Everything was delivered in that way. Like, can I have a cigarette? Like it was just like, it was two other days. I'd like to reshoot those titles coming up at six. We even got something on footage. No, that's a fucking human being.
Starting point is 00:19:24 You didn't get an orb on your film. No. No. Oh, it it it it. Oh, it's, oh, oh, it's, oh, oh, it's, oh, it's, it's, oh, it's, it's, it's. Oh, it's. Oh, it's. Oh, it's. Oh, it's th. Oh, it's thi. Oh, it's thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. Everything was thi. Everything was thi. Everything was thi. Everything was thi. Everything was thi. Everything was thi. Everything was thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. It's thi. It's thi. It's thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. Everything was thi. Everything was thi. Everything was thi. thi. thi. Everything was thi. fucking human being. You didn't get an orb on your film. No, oh, it's so not subtle. I think that's- Ricky, can you come down here? Leave the cloak! It's 80 degrees out here. Oh, you got ketchup on it again, Ricky, Ricky. Ricky loves his dogs.
Starting point is 00:19:42 Sorry, Chicago, I mentioned putting ketchup on a hot dog I know that sends you guys into a tizzy. Ketchup is gross anyway. I'm a fan. I'm a fan. I'm from Pittsburgh I think ketchup is gross. It's practically sacrilege. You know where it's a good on a hot dog? Fucking mustard. I thought you were gonna say ranch dressing. Oh damn! I bet that would be pretty Dece. Help. After we see the woman in the basement that's been gone for seven years, we go back to the second documentary of them going into the house.
Starting point is 00:20:17 Right. Our heroes. And as they're walking up, someone's like, Oh, yeah, Brock's gonna be here, too. Yeah, Brock's coming. What? Do they like not? They had spent a lot of time meticulously planning this.
Starting point is 00:20:30 Because there's scenes of Mitchell being like, if I say we have to go, we have to go right that second, we drop everything in run. And they're like, okay, okay. And in that scene, his his his his his his his his his his his his his his his his his his his his his his his his his his his his his his his his his his his his his his his his his his his his his his his his his his his his his hair, his hair, his, his hair, his hair, his hair, his hair, his hair, his hair, his hair, his hair, his hair, his hair, his hair, his hair, his hair, his hair, his hair, his hair, his hair, his, his, his, his, his, his, his, his, his, his, his, his, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, th. He, th. He, the, the, the, the they didn't even try with that Mitchell It's like they're going out to fucking pizza hut and Brocks just wants to tag along with Yeah, oh yeah, Brok's gonna eat us there. You know Brock loves the hut. Brock loves the hut. You know Brock loves the hut? He brought Malcolm who also love love the hot? Loves the hot? Malcolm has like a rigged camera like it's like it's like harness. like it's like like like like like like like like like like like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like like like like like like like like like like like like like like like like like like like like like like like like like like like like like like like like like like like like like like like like like like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, the, the, the, the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the hot. Loves the hot?
Starting point is 00:21:05 Love the hut. Malcolm has like a rigged camera, like it's like harnessed on his chest and his all-inten's looking. Oh, that's a different, that's a fifth documentary because we see him filming too. We get his footage also. Holy ghost. Luckily, they're barely in the movie. I think that's unlucky because I would watch Brock's movie also.
Starting point is 00:21:26 I think he is very funny. I think the actor is playing it perfectly. I do. Don't look at me. And I also thought his relationship with Malcolm was very tender. I'm like, I might be writing them a backstory, but whatever. I like that a friend of the podcast, Tara was like, oh, Brock, like Brock!. I thi?? I thi? I thi? I thi? I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I might, I might, I might, I might, I might, I might, I might, I might, I might, I might, I might, I might thi. I might thi. I might thi. I might thi. I might thi. I might thi. I might thi. I thi. I thi. I thi. I thi, I thi. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I thi. I thi. I thi. I thi. I thi. I thi. I thi. I thi. I thi. I thi. I thi. I thi. I thi. I thi. I thi. I thi. I thi. I like that a friend of the podcast Tara was like, oh, like Brock every day. I love Brock. I just like, really? I might be colored, my opinion might be colored because I watched this movie with Tara and she was like, Brock fucking rules and I was
Starting point is 00:21:54 like, yeah he does. Brock. Brock is pretty great. Brock is pretty great. Brock. What don't you like about Brock? I love Brock. You love Brock. Everybody loves Brock. He's great in that way of someone who's just like, I can do that job, I'm gonna do that job. I'm doing that job. Yeah. Like, I'm a psychic. You've shown us nothing. I'm a psychic. I'm gonna put this planchette down and I'm a psychic. What, wine and and on a table? And then it worked, didn't it, didn't it, didn't it, didn't, didn't, didn't, didn't, didn't, didn't, didn't, didn't, didn't, didn't, didn't, didn't, didn't, didn't, didn't, didn't, didn't, didn't, didn't, didn't it, didn't, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, I, that, I, I, I, I, I, I, I'm that, I'm that, I, I'm that, I, I'm that, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I that, I that, I that, I that, I that, I that, I that, I that, I that, I that, I that, I that, I that, I that, I that, I that, I that, I that, I that, I that, I'm that, I'm that, I'm that, I'm that, that, that, that, th. th. tho. tho. And, that, that, that, that, I'm that, I'm that, I like this scene with Brock and Malcolm, because it's one of the chief you guys are idiot scenes in this movie. They walk into a room, it has a bunch of mannequin still sitting in it. And they walk in the room and they look to their left, and when they look back to their right, there are two nooses hanging from the ceiling
Starting point is 00:22:41 that were not there when they walked in the room. Yeah. Good spookery. Good spookery. That's exactly what the first movie did right and I'm glad to see them carry some of it over. Yeah. They also, they went a little overboard with a guy standing in the doorway in the background that's not there when we scan back. To the border where I was like, I think I saw one but I'm not even even even even even even even even even even even even even even even even even even even even even even even even even even even even even even even going going going going going going going going going going going going to to to to rewind to rewind to to rewind to rewind to to to rewind to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to see to see to see to see to see to see to see to see to see to see to see to see to see to see to see to see to see to see to see to see to see to see to see to see to see to to to to to to to to to the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the to to to to around and he's asking all these questions like are you Andrew Tully? No. Are you a malevin the spirit? No. Yeah. Are you a member of Hellels? No. Is this customer service? No. And then cuts away from them? Oh no. Then we see the main smoogy woman who killed Paul in the last movie. And she like is sitting down. She looks like Linda Blair and the exorcist.
Starting point is 00:23:31 Yeah, when we first see her, she's facing away from them. The next time we see her, she's looking right at them. Which again is a good use of that scare me. And then the next time we see her their she she she she she she she she she she she she she she she she she she she she she the actually liked that. I thought that was nice. Because there were a couple mannequins that looked like they could have been people that would stand up. Yeah, yeah, which was good. Yeah. And then she stands up and then... They cut away. They cut away. Also before we see that scene, there is a title card that says that what the two of them. Yeah, no, yeah, I explained it. And you barely showed it to me.
Starting point is 00:24:08 They could have been standing on chairs. I don't know what just happened. Yeah. Because when we see them hanging, it's the, our second documentary, are already losing their minds. Because they find out they're running around and they run into the dining room and they go, oh is that Brock? Is that Malcolm? Yeah, yeah. Yeah. Yeah. No one runs over to be like, oh can I get them down? No, they're try to unhang these people?
Starting point is 00:24:34 Fuck it. They're hanging. It's too late. But yeah, so we see the second documentary people go down into the basement to look for whatever documents that Jessica believes their their their their their their their they they they they they they they they they they they they're they're they're they're they're they're they're they're they're they're they're they're they're they're they're they're they're to to to to to to they're to to to to to to to to to to to to to be to be to be to be to be to be to be to be to be to be to be to be to be to be to be to be to be to to to to to to to their. their. their. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. they're their their their their their th. Yeah. I their their their their their their their the. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah, they're they're they're they're whatever documents that Jessica believes to be there and they're like all the clowns are still sitting there and I was like look I saw that fucking first documentary I'm not gonna turn my back on one of those clowns you fucking idiots and they're like well just don't look at them. First thing I do I knock all the clowns over yeah take all their heads off yeah I'm dressed them they they'll they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they took took took took took took took took took took took took took took took took they they they they they're they're they're they're they're they're they they they their heads off, undress them, maybe put on the clown clothes myself. They won't fuck with you if they think that you're one of them. That's how you hide from clowns. I spent years planning of going to the gathering of the Juggalows. I know how to do this. You put on your paint.
Starting point is 00:25:16 You put in your horns. You whoop-woop-wop, you're a wooppoo-wop, whooop, woop, wop, wop, you, wop, wop, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, th, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, tho, tho, tho, tho, thoo, thooooo, thoooooooooo, the, thooooooooouggalos were everywhere for a minute? It just... Yeah, I miss them. Come on, Juggler. You were like a kinder, gentler weird time in America. Yeah. Yeah. I know you have some misogynistic ideas, but otherwise I think you're probably pretty harmless. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. There's the should all want them then. I think that's just in-cells now, which is sad, even worse. Yeah, I mean, no, no, no. Yeah. See, they were the weader America that was like a kinder, gentler weird America. Yeah. And Juggles were fucking all the time.
Starting point is 00:25:53 That was like their thing,. What did they yell? Oh I didn't even know they were like, ah! They were like, whoop! I think so. Can I tell you about something funny about juggalows? Yes, please. My cousin-in-law was a juggler when he was young, so he used to have a Halloween party every year and we got the rest of our family it was like in a couple of friends it was I think about ten people all dressed up as juggalows waited till long after the party had started got kind of drunk busted in his back door screaming whoop moot motherfuckers and the look on his face was for one moment so so angry. So angry.
Starting point is 00:26:45 Because if I remember correctly he does not like disavow his time in the family. No, no, he's not in the family anymore. But we also like to tell new people that he has a hatchet man tattoo. Doesn't he? Just let him find it. I don't know, does he? So yeah, the fucking clowns are on the floor still, and the creepy clown, the creepiest of all creepy clowns. The clown that we saw menace the party in the first movie, and Mitchell literally just says,
Starting point is 00:27:09 don't look at them. Why, Mitchell? Don't take your eyes off of them? Controversial? Yeah. Fuck Mitchell. Oh. No.
Starting point is 00:27:18 No. You think he was all along? I think he's just too down with the sickness. I think he is just not, he's not, da da da da da da, da, I'm sorry. No, you're fine, keep going, keep going? I think he is just not, uh, he's not freaked out enough. If he's the guy who's watched all the tapes, yeah. Yeah. You think you're going to go back in there and be calm? to be to be to be th. th. th th th the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the that that tho tho- tho- th tho- that tho-d th da da da da da da da da da da da da da da da da da da da da da da da da da da da da da da da da da da da da da da da da da da da da da da da da da da da da that's not that's not that's not that's not that's not that's not th tha th th th th th th tho tho tho tho tho tho tho that that that that that that tha tha tha tha tha tha tha tha that that that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that tha, tha tha tha tha tha's watched all the tapes, and seen his friends die. Yeah. You think you're going to go back in there and be calm and colled? Yeah, just be cool, calm and collected. There's nothing about Mitchell that says cool, calm and collected.
Starting point is 00:27:53 No, he's a minute ti and said, one comment, one question. First, you're a dick. thi. That is not the action of a cool, calm and collected person. Which, to be honest, we find out he is the ultimate dick. He's the dickiest. Is he? Yeah. Why? Because he's Andrew Tully?
Starting point is 00:28:11 He? Mitchell. Oh, the other guy. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. I was like, damn, you read something in this movie. Right. But to be fair, Andrew Tully wasn't, thu Arnold Tasselman was suing Mitchell. I just realized they have the same initials. I hate it. Can I tell you how much I love the idea that a man who's in league with Satan is just into low-level financial fuckery? I think that is so beautifully satanic in just the most wonderful way.
Starting point is 00:28:45 I really do like that. What did you think of the actor that played Arnold Tesson slash Andrew Tully? He was great until he had to be on. That's what I thought too. Like when he's just being Bunko Ed Beg Tully, it's really uncomfortable. Apparently, from watching the trailer for the third movie, there's a lot more of that Andrew Telly. Oh, good. I'm excited for doing that two weeks from now.
Starting point is 00:29:16 You haven't said no. So, yeah, they're rummaging around in this, this, like, it's not a refrigerator, it's like a deep freezer, a walk-in fridge. Yeah, a walk-in fridge, yeah. And it's like full of menus? Yeah, and just boxes of documents. But we saw the Hell House people go into that fridge, remember? Yeah, they hidden there.
Starting point is 00:29:40 So demons have after that point went in foot storage and... Andrew, Andrew, sorry, Mr. Tully. Yeah, Borsnat from the seven-level hell. What did you want these menus? Where did you want these? Rock Lobster, huh? No nachos? Weird.
Starting point is 00:30:00 Oh my god, I wanted to punch that dude in his fucking face. Oh man, yeah, he did, yeah. I was thinking when I was watching this about this this this this about this about this about this about this about thi thi thi thi thi thi thi that dude in his fucking face. Oh man, yeah, he did, yeah. I was thinking when I was watching this about what you said about people in like mockumentary films like this having to be shitty because then you would believe that they're real people. And it's kind of like, oh, I get it now.
Starting point is 00:30:15 Yeah. And full disclosure, this is the second them are in the walk-in fridge and Molly has stayed out by the car because she's too scared to go in, which is fine. Smart move, Molly. Yeah, all the way. She should have stayed there. And then she comes on the walkie-talkie and says, I'm here, where are you guys? And it tuke, where the hotel. What? What? What? And your boyfriend's immediately mad at her.
Starting point is 00:30:47 They're all mad at her. Why the fuck isn't she outside? Guys, stop. You were all going to go in in the first place, you know? Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. So at this point, you know what I'm hoping for, I'm hoping for grave encounters. I was hoping for the house to just keep growing and they can't. I thought that would be a really cool mechanic for this because
Starting point is 00:31:07 it's already, oh I forgot to mention earlier when I got annoyed. We believe that Tully modeled his home on the H.H. Holmes house in Chicago and it's like, really? We gotta bring Holmes into this? What do you mean he doesn't deserve it No, it's just like, oh yeah, okay fine. It just felt like, it felt hokey to bring that into it. It definitely did. And also like if this guy's like a mastermind, he's like, um, you know, he did it best. Let's just repeat that. Right, right, totally.
Starting point is 00:31:38 So they make a run for the exit that door that they came in, that Mitchell has propped open with a stick. Mitchell, you've seen the movie. You made the movie. Take one of the doors off their hinges, throw it in the street. Right, just leave it there. Blow a hole in the side of the building. What you're doing is propping it open with a stick is a dumb idea. So they get to the hallway that that that that that that that that that that has that has that has that has that has that has that that has that has the that that has the the the that has the that has that has the the that has the that has their that has their that has that has that that their their their that has that that that that that that that that that that that their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their thooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo. that has. that that has that has th. that has that has that has their their that has their the has the door at the end, and the clown is just standing there. Uh-huh. Love that. Real creepy. They, yeah, Mitch.
Starting point is 00:32:07 And he's standing there in that way of like, um, like an animatronic clown would stand with his hands like up at his side. Yes, very stiff and he's looking like 90 degrees from the, from our heroes. Yeah, yeah. So you're like, well, maybe you that, well, well, well, well, well, well, well, well, well, well, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that th that th thi, thi, thi, thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. that that thi. that that that that head whips around. Question, would you tackle that clown to get out of the house? Like just run fucking like full bull? You know, I wouldn't. Tackle him, go out the front door, which also slam shut as soon as he turns his head. Yeah. Which is good, it's, fuck it. He's going outside too.
Starting point is 00:32:45 And if he kills me, he kills me, but like, either way you're gonna die. Yeah, that's the only way I'm getting out of this house. I think the horror movies. Yeah, the, the horror movies. I think that's. Maybe you'll try it. Yeah. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I mean, who's to say it wouldn't work? You get outside with him and he's like, ah!
Starting point is 00:33:09 I'll say, maybe they can't go outside. But then again, Ricky was out there eating a hot dog's something to say. Tully. Tully. No one knew it Arnold Tasselman, comp troller of Abadon, New York looks like? On the website, you can pair a good dress? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:33:32 No, it's not Tasselman, because later, because later, because thau's been stuck on the side of the road. No, no,? Is that Tasselman the person? Did Andrew Tully just inhabit his body and then later was like, this is a good one, I'm taking it home, you know? Because he's still that person at home. He's still vaguely. Yeah, I don't know. I'm just wondering.
Starting point is 00:33:51 I think I'd have to go to the first one and He could have lost weight. They say the camera adds 10 pounds. It's true. So then they find another exit in the, can I ask you a question? Yeah. If you're going to break down a door, how do you try to do it? Shoulder first. Why does everyone try that there's more power in your shoulder than in your in your clothes that door
Starting point is 00:34:25 let's see if we can knock it down. Really? No! I think if you can... Run and drop kick it? I can drop kick it? I'm sure I can. Run an unpractice drop kick. I'm sure I can do it. You just reminded me of my main beef with any like TV show that has a large amount amount th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th of th of tham amount amount amount amount amount amount amount amount amount amount amount amount amount amount amount amount of tho tho tho tho tho tho-a tho-a thi thi their tho- tho- tho- tho- tho- tho- tho- tho- tho- tho- th. th. their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their tho-up. thus. the. the. the. theateateateateateateateateateat-upe. I thooooooooooooooomoom-up. I tho. I the. I do it. You just reminded me of my main beef with any TV show that has a large amount of martial arts fighting, when people are doing those spinning kicks that there's no way you'd have any power behind if you're like spinning around. Yeah, but on that note, I'm seeing myself fly through the air with like one foot out and the other one, you know what?
Starting point is 00:35:00 Like you're a ninja master. Like on a ninja master. Or unlike doing a drop kick like Sean Michael's style. You know what I mean, master drop kicker, Sean Michaels. So the door is triple H and you're Sean Michael. There's no door knob, so I'm going to drop kick it. Is that okay? Yeah, I'm going to go shoulder first, see how that goes. It's going to hurt. Yeah, for sure. So so so so so so so so to to to to to to to th so is sure so is kicking it. Not dude. Have you ever kicked a door open? Have you ever shouldered a door open? No but I have kicked a door. All right points to Alan. It was a rental and I knocked though I had to repair the frame of the door because I had to kick it open because my bathroom door locked.
Starting point is 00:35:41 Oh damn well you were inside it or outside of it. Oh and you were like I got a shit so bad. I have to get back in there somehow and my deadbeat landlord isn't coming over. Oh man, you kicked it open. Yeah, I did. I did and I broke the door frame. Was it super satisfying? It was pretty good. Yeah, back. my couch apart once too. To do that of a master mule kicker. I didn't even ask him to, he just did it.
Starting point is 00:36:05 They weren't moving or anything. So, yeah, the clown shuts the door and they run away. They run in the opposite direction. And that's when they see the dudes hanging in the dining room. There's all sorts of like craziness. To have begun to the point yet where Mitchell says we've the thoom, thoo, tho, tho, tho, tho, th, th, th, th, tho, th, tho, tho, thi, thi, thi, that, that, that, that, tho, tho, tho, that, thi, that, tho, tho, tho, tho, tho, tho, tho, tho, tho, tho, tho, tho, tho, tho, tho, tho, tho, tho, tho, tho, tho, tho, tho, tho, tho, tho, thu, thu, thu, thu, thu, thu, thu, thi, thu, that, to to to to to to to to to to to tooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo, thu, thu, th It's to have begun to the point yet where Mitchell says we've got to go upstairs. This is that point where they start running like kind of running a mucker in the first floor. And this is when random lights are on in the house. Yeah. And what's the guy's name, Dave or Dana or David? Can not handle it. I like that he keeps bringing it up. He's like, why are these fucts on? And the lights. And the lights. the lights. the lights. the lights. the lights. the lights. the lights. the lights. the lights. the lights. the lights. the lights. the lights. the lights. the lights. the lights. the lights. the lights. the lights. the lights. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. And their. And I'm like, why are they on, David? Because we're filming a haunted house. Just turn those fuckers on every once in a while. And this is one thing I like to say, like, all of the demons look like hot in house
Starting point is 00:36:51 people, same thing as the last movie. Oh, we see Diane later on playing the piano. I don't even think that's the same Diane. I not a money bush fan right? No. Okay never mind. Do it anyway somebody probably is. She looks like the eels up inside you character on the money bush. But they like really close up on her for a long time too like they want you to get a good look at Diane. But she's just got like a like one eyes gone yeah the other ones they all of them have these weird like husky blue eyes. Yeah like like like like like like like like like like the like the like th like th like th like th like th like th like th like th like th like th like th like th like th like th like th th th th th th th th th. th. th. th. th. th. th. thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi th. thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi th. th. they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they're they're they're they're they're they're they're thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi one is they all of them have these weird like husky blue eyes. Yeah, like bluish white eyes. Yeah. And her hair is very messed up. It doesn't look nice at all. Which is weird because she had really nice hair in the last movie. Not as nice as Suzy McComb.
Starting point is 00:37:39 But you know, who does? Suzy McComb? I can't let go of that name. This is the eels up inside you guy. Google image search it. It's pretty funny and very accurate. That's Noel Fielding from Great British Pay-Off. Yeah, in Richmond. God, I love the IT crowd. I think you might love the Mighty Bush.
Starting point is 00:38:00 Oh, I'm sure. It's a thing I've meant to watch. Right, I can get down with the wire. Well, I think Mighty Bush is probably a little more attainable for me at this point of my life. It's true. You'd rather laugh. Yeah. Yeah. Oh, God, yeah. So they go upstairs and they're immediately at the door for Room. And everyone's Oh, Mitchell. And then they go down further down. It looks like they went in a Paul's room.
Starting point is 00:38:26 Yeah, I think it was Paul's room. Because Molly is sitting in the exact spot where the demon girl was sitting when we saw her in the previous movie. I don't know why that matters. But the demon girl is chasing them at this point and banging on the door. And Molly Molly the the the the demon the demon the demon the demon the demon the d Molly is the d Molly is the d Molly is the d Molly is the dolly the dolly is the dolly is the dolly is the demon Molly is th. th. th. tholly is thozy. tho. thoomoli's tho. thoomorrow is tho. tho. tho. tho. thoomorrow is tho. tho. tho. tho. tho. tho. tho. tho. tho. tho. tho. tho. tho. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to to. to to. to to. the. the. Molly's talking about how she wants a vacation so she can binge watch so you think you can dance. And I was like, fucking, that's type writing right there. Like, you bang on with Molly.
Starting point is 00:38:52 Is that an improv from Molly or is that in the script? I bet that's in the script. Yeah. Yeah. I also love that they thought, maybe the point where David is looking at some tapes that he found down in the refrigerator. He's watching them on his video camera and we see a business deal between Alex from Hellhouse One LLC. And someone off screen. At this point I should have realized it was Arnold Taslman because his voice is pretty distinctive. Yeah. Wait, was there, did you not realize it was? No. Oh, Oh, wow. Shut your face. I mean, the second time I knew. Because at one point, they like show his hands come out and he's like wearing the like, you know, the business suit and with
Starting point is 00:39:34 like the sleeves and all that stuff. And I was extent of casting for this movie. They're not bringing another guy in this point. That's why I disagree with that is because they brought us so many people in. You know, like what's one more? What is this? Who says hold on to your butts in this movie? I don't know, but somebody does. Because I haven't written down to anyone saying it. Great. Hold on to your butts. So okay so we get this um this little interaction between Alex and
Starting point is 00:40:10 Andrew Tully I guess. We don't know it's Andrew Tully but it's taking place in the Abadon Hotel. But Alex had always said he'd never been there before. And that's like what's bothering them. Also I assumed he was Tasman not Tully at this point because he's he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he- they. they. they. told. told. told. told. told. told. told. told. told. to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to told. So. told. told. told. told. told. told. told. told. told. told. told. told. to to to to to to to to to to to the to the to to to the the to to to the to to to to to to to to to to to to to, not Tully at this point, because he's like talking about like town business and like... Oh, but he can be both? Are they the same person? Because I'm, is he going to a day job? That's bonkers. I want to think that he is, and I want to think that he called in just to fuck with the news people who've been like, we haven't had that pizza in 40 years. It's like, just fucking with them.
Starting point is 00:40:47 Like imagine if you were the type of dude that could just maybe be a ghost and you could trick people in the thinking that maybe you were never there, or someone else is there in your stead or like. But like if you could maybe be a ghost, Are you going to work in 9 to 5? Are you going to deal with city government bureaucracy? Listen, hell doesn't it before a 1K? That's true.
Starting point is 00:41:07 You've got to save for that retirement. Do you think you can retire from being a ghost? And if so, what do you do? I don't know. Yeah, I don't know. Can we talk about? Can we talk about? I just want to get through this. Sorry, the business transaction. This is the pinnacle of Alex's acting ability, by the way. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:41:28 He's full tilt. Yeah. He took some classes between one and two, I think. So this is where we learn about the investment that has gone badly. And Andrew Telley's like, you invested the company's money instead of your own money. And it's like, what if you had invested his own money? Like, what then? Like, you know what I mean? Like, what a weird gamble?
Starting point is 00:41:51 Like, how would you get anybody to Abadon, New York at that point? Is that what he was investing the money in? I think he invested in something that went bad. So the company ran out of money, and then he had this out, which was doing it at the Abadon Hotel for cheap or whatever, cheap or free. But like what if he had just put his own money in and like maybe his dad's money or something and the company was still intact? They never would have gone to this place. And then Andrew Telly would have just like, I guess taken his money, put it into his IRA, I don't know. Paul would still be alive. We would have never lost Paul. God rest his soul.
Starting point is 00:42:27 His terrible soul. Somebody rest his soul. So let's talk about when they're in the basement and I can't remember if this is on some other documentary or if it's their documentary. At this point it doesn't matter. At one point someone's in the basement and they're like someone's talking about something and all of a sudden the wall opens up and Rogue Dude just keep coming. The void, which I like this is a very sort of Cathulu Adventure kind of thing, like a basement where there's a portal to another dimension. Yeah. But it doesn't look great, does it? It looks like a
Starting point is 00:42:57 real good rock video from the 80s. Yes it does. And like the bass player comes storming out. But it but it's it's it's it's it's it's it's it's it's it's it's it's it's it's it's it's it's it's it's the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the ba. And it's only, the ba. And it's only, the ba. th. It's th. It's th. It's th. It's th. th. th. th. th. the the th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. It's. It's. It's. It's. It's. It's. It's. It's. It's. It's. It's like, the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the th. It's like. It's like. It's like. It's like, to. It's like, to. It's like, the the to. It's like. It's like. It's like, the the the the theing out. But it's only like you're seeing like a quarter of the opening and it's just like this red sort of like intestine wall that's going out. And they pull David into it. David goes into the voice. That's what it is. Steel David. And everyone's like all right. They were so much more upset about the possibility of Molly being hurt than David and I feel like if I had to pick between the two of them to save, picking David. Oh really? Yeah, Molly's terrible.
Starting point is 00:43:28 Okay. She's up and anxious. Okay. Okay. Forget it. Team David. Yeah, I mean, team neither of them. the oh yeah, whatever you gotta do. Yeah, sure, you're gonna die. Even Andrew Tully says it later, he's like, let me take one off
Starting point is 00:43:48 the table right now. Obviously it's Molly. No one cares about Molly. No one was gonna choose Molly. So that again is when you're like thinking that maybe Jessica and Mitchell have like a thing. I think it's a little wink wink, flirt flirt. Yeah. Yeah. that. that. th. th. that th. that that th. that th. that that th. that th. that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that th. th. thi. thi. that th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the they. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.'s a little wink-wink flirt-flurt. Yeah, until it's not. Isn't it? No, he goes over and kills her. I thought he killed himself and she got out. No, she a demon. Yes, that's what he said, one of you can leave. Yeah. Yeah, it was her.
Starting point is 00:44:18 No, I think she didn't let on a day pass just like when I agree. I think he wasn't going to let any of them live Right? He didn't just let Mitchell out. I think Mitchell like killed himself thinking that she would get out and he did let her out as a demon. I'm were you're reading super far into this. No, no, you've seen it twice. You know more than I do. Oh, you know more than I tear. Oh, you. Oh, th. Oh, th. Oh, th. Oh, th. Oh, th. Oh, th. Oh, th. Oh, th. Oh, th. Oh, th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. thi. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. th. th. th. th. I did. I did. And also, um, his first line is basically, I'm Andrew Tully and you're a guest in my hotel, but I'm sure you said in the last episode as like a joke. And when you said it, I was like, oh, I think that's actually a line in the second movie. It is. Had he started reciting the lyrics to cameos where they're in a diner and they pretend that the other people are coming. It's just such a dumb conversation about investments.
Starting point is 00:45:12 Until we see the Alex and the Mac cameos as dead people. Did you like that or no? No. First of all, Diane's playing the piano and given everybody the one stink guy. Yeah, playing Paul song. And the piano and giving everybody the one stink guy. Yeah, playing Paul's song. And then Alex and Mac are at the table dead, but obviously like breathing and staring at each other and we're like... Looking a little bit bored.
Starting point is 00:45:34 Is this done? Are we done now? Are we dead? I do have the line, ha, ha, Diane, the piano man. That song should never be allowed to be played anywhere. Then he turns into Andrew Tully, master of exposition for a little bit. He's like, so good. He's just like explaining.
Starting point is 00:45:57 I don't even really understand what he's explaining. Because I feel like we've pretty much got it at this point, right? I love when the exposition starts, and you haven't gotten the full reveal that Andrew Tully and Tasselman are the same person yet. Right. But yeah. You have, but you haven't. But the way that they're hiding his identity is with the electric candle that's in front
Starting point is 00:46:18 of his hair. And they like sort of pan around it and it's Arnold, elman. When we watched a ladies nightmare, we were like, whoa! I love the idea. Much like in the video episode for this week, the idea that Satanists would use chiller font and comic sands, the fact that the Satanists have obviously battery-powered candles in their dungeon of doom. Look, if they burn this place down, they are fucked, so let's not risk it. It's an old building, no one's checking anything, like. But they are running a smoke machine, so, because Andrew Telly rolls with a fucking smoke machine. When he comes out and starts talking, it just billows out from behind him.
Starting point is 00:47:01 And it made me think like like maybe I should do that. Just have it pull it around behind me like a child's pool toy, you know? You know this conversation, A, yes, B, you know there's conversations with him and B Elzebob or whoever he's hanging out with it. Look, I need a big entrance, I need to go big, I need the flashing lights on, you gotta get the smoke machine. It's a pro wrestling entrance. I need to to get to get to get to get to get to get to get to get to get the the the to get the the the the the to get the the the the the th. their their their their their their their their their their th. I their, you're their their their their their their their their their their, you their, you their, you their, you their, you their, you their, you their, you their, their, you their, you their, you they, you they, you they, you they, you th. I th. I th. You, you th. You, you th. You, you th. You're th. You're the, the, the, theat, theat, theat, theat, theat, theat, they. A. A. A. A. A. A to scare these people. I'm gonna do a shoot video right before we head out. I'm just talking about how much I'm gonna smash them souls. Smash them. Smash them. This scene is not subtle at all.
Starting point is 00:47:34 And I think the first movie really basked in its subtlety in it, in a lot of places. And this one took like the the subtlety, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, the subte, the subtlet, the s a the s a the, the, their, their, their, their, the, the, their, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, I the, I the, I the, I the, the, the, the, the, the, I the, I the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. thi, thi, thi, thi, tho, too, too, too, tooombs. tooombs. tooombs. tooombs. tooombs, sma, smau, smau-s, sma, smau-s, sma, smash, smang it, smash it and bang. This one took like the subtlety of the Sarah scene at the very end of it, where they're like not subtle at all, and we're just like, well, that's where we're starting from. That is zero, and we're just going up from there. Which, oh, wait, there's another element. Which I was hoping for lost time. Yeah. I was hoping for like, oh I thought we had been gone an hour. Yeah. But that's not what happened. The camera, the cop like leaves and when he walks by her the the's the the tall's wipe and they're like a jaws wipe and you're on the beach of jaws it to keep wiping and getting closer. The first wipe, it goes from her being crying to her having computer blacked out eyes and
Starting point is 00:48:30 gnahe. Yeah, she's smirking like baby Jackson at the beginning of the movie. They were like, stop smirking. She was like, okay. And then the cop walks back by and you're seeing his back, so he is facing her at a whole time. Yeah, you see his bum-bum. And she goes back to being sad and blin-oh, no, no. Yeah. Yeah, he ha ha ha.
Starting point is 00:48:52 Oh, Cognetti. It's so good. Oh, and she says to them, I was at the Abidon Hotel. You should go there. Yeah. Oh, we forgot to mention that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that the to to their to their to mention to mention their their to mention their was at the Abadon Hotel. You should go there. Yeah. Oh, we forgot to mention that on the blackboard, all of the names of our four investigators were on as rooms reserved. Yeah, they did a real fast though. I thought it was nice.
Starting point is 00:49:13 They didn't linger on it. It was like a catch it or don't. And all of the exposition the exposition that the exposition, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, all, all, all, all, all, all, all, all, all, all, all, all, all, all, all, all, all, all, all, all, all, all, all, all, all the the names, all, all the names, all the names, all the names, all the names the names of their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their the names, all, all the names, all their their their their their their their their their their their their their thes, all their their their thes, their the the the the the the the thea the names, the thea. the names, all names of their names of their names of the so this is what I need you to do with this business model. I need you to start a business, I need you to start a business, I need you to get people in the lake of fire, we're gonna get people in the lake of fire, we're gonna get people into a lake fire, we're gonna get people into a lake their fire, you're gonna start to start this business, it's gonna fail, because to start, because, because, because, because, because, to, to, to, to, to, their, to, I I I I's, I's, I's, I's, I's, I's, I's, I's, I's, I's, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, get, get, I'm gonna start, we're gonna start, we're gonna start, we're gonna start, we're gonna start, I's, we're, we're, we're, we're, we're, we're, we're, we're, we're, we're, we're, we're, we're gonna come in here, they're gonna die from food poisoning, they're all gonna die, one person's gonna live, they're gonna come back, it's gonna be a theater company, I mean, we're just like, what is going on? It's like either the worst franchises are the worst multi-level marketing
Starting point is 00:49:52 scheme you've ever heard of. Like it's just a week after next? Yeah, I'll do it. How good I know with the joy that you just got from that? Thanks. Oh, man. Thank you. Thank you for doing this for me. I feel like this is a gift you're giving me. And I don't know why.
Starting point is 00:50:19 Why do I love this? People love this. I am really into it. Katie, take me to that rating space. I love it. It is not nearly as good as the first. It is not the first movie at all. It has almost to its credit. Well, but also like, I feel like, I feel like with sequels, horror sequels in particular, you can kind of jump into them and get the idea of what's going on without having seen the first one. This movie needs you to be super invested in the franchise to have any care about any of this. Do you agree with that? I do agree with it, but I would have to say we got a message from someone and I can't remember where it was that said because this movie was free on shutter before the first one was yeah they saw this first and
Starting point is 00:51:07 had no problem understanding what was going on interesting okay they said it was kind of like a lovecraftian thing of like oh there's evil back there yeah I guess that makes sense yeah I'll take that I'll take that yeah well that bumps up my rating I don't remember what I gave the first one? I'm a. I'm. I'm. I'm. I'm. I'm. I'm. I'm. I'm. I'm. I'm. I'm. I'm. I'm. I'm that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that. Well. Well. Well. All right, well I want to give this one one point less, so a 7.5 or 8, depending. I loved it. I mean, it's stupid and it's not nearly as good, and the characters are also unlikable, and it's documentaries, within documentaries, and I can't explain why, but I really enjoyed it. I'm excited for the next thoom tho tho th. th. th. th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I thi thi. I thi. I thi. I'm thi. I mean, I mean, I mean, I mean, I mean, I mean, I mean, I mean, I mean, I mean, I mean, I mean, I mean, I mean, I mean, I mean, I mean, I mean, I mean, I mean, I mean, I mean, I mean, I mean, I mean, I mean, I mean, I mean, I mean, I mean, I mean, I mean, I mean, I mean, I mean, I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm th. I'm th. I'm th. I'm th. I th. I th. I th th th th th thi. I th th thi. I th th thi. I th thi. I thi. I th the. I the. I'm excited for the next one because it looks like it's a shitty rich dude. Oh yes, okay, so that's being set up in the second movie, so they must have known they were getting in the third because the beginning we're told by the documentary we're watching is being made by Russell Winn, who I think is the guy in the third movie.
Starting point is 00:51:57 Yes. But also like... He's doing his thing insomnia in the house. Okay, okay. Andrew Tully says something like I've been mailing tapes to a rich man and you're like what? Okay but I guess that pays off in the third one. Love it. I'm here for it. I'm here for the Hell House franchise. I do like the and they say that in the trailer that like the third one is the final installment. I like that too. So it's like they're setting they're they're they're setting they're setting they're setting they're setting they're setting they're setting they're setting they're setting they're setting they're setting they're setting they're setting. they're setting. they're setting. they're setting. their. their. their s. their s. their s. their s. their. their s. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. the. th're doing, it's three parts. Yeah. Know when you're done. The first one definitely felt like, well if we can't get funding, it's done. Right, it was a fine standalone. Yeah, yeah. So I also really enjoyed this.
Starting point is 00:52:32 It's terrible. Oh, it's not good. But it is fucking fun. I imagine, like, yeah, yeah. Squealing women! I would, I'm gonna give this a seven. It was like, you can't like, it's, just go in like, be like, oh, I can just turn the fucking gray massive jelly in the middle of my head. Oh, fuck it, who cares?
Starting point is 00:52:59 Just have fun. It's just silly, it's like, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, th. th. th. th. It's just, th. It's, I's, I's just, I's just, I's just, I'm just, I'm just, I'm just, I'm just, I'm just, I'm just, I'm just, I'm just, like, I'm just, I'm just, thi. thi. thi. th. th. th. This does not seem like something we should like. No, not at all. It is so out of it for both of us. Not at all. What is happening? Do you think Cognettys are like poisoning us somehow? Do you think there's like subliminal messaging in there that's like you love this movie? Do youi into my home because I am having a good time. Thank you, Conyettys. And a lot of people are, and I think it's really glad. I'm glad that like there's something that people are just finding a lot of joy in. And I think that's also feeding into it, like, oh, look, that's that's fun. Yeah, that's fun. Yeah, that's fun. I. I. I. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I. Yeah. I. Yeah. I the tho. I th. I tho. I th. I th. I tho. I'm thi. I'm thi. I'm really. I'm thi a book on tape about how trees talk to each other and I was like, oh that's nice man, I like the trees are talking to each other.
Starting point is 00:53:47 That's real cool. Is that the plot of the happening? Sort of. Are you sure it wasn't a movie you saw? Are you sure it wasn't Mark Walberg who told you that? The book did say, but yeah, yeah, yeah, perhaps, perhaps, perhaps, perhaps, perhaps, perhaps, perhaps, perhaps, perhaps, perhaps, perhaps, perhaps, perhaps, perhaps, perhaps, perhaps, perhaps, perhaps, perhaps, perhaps, perhaps, perhaps, perhaps, perhaps, perhaps, perhaps, perhaps, perhaps, perhaps, perhaps, perhaps, perhaps, perhaps, perhaps, perhaps, perhaps, perhaps, perhaps, perhaps, perhaps, perhaps, perhaps, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. the. to. to. the. the. the. the. the. the. the, the, the. through all the shovel on scripts. Starting point is 00:54:15 Everyone's all ago, you're still up, buddy? All right, let's do this. Katie. Alan. Can I take you to a little place that I like to call Mama Malik? I'm here for it, just like I'm here for the Hell House franchise. This is a review that we got on iTunes and possibly a plug for something that was slipped in there and I'm going to read it anyway and see how this goes. Okay. This is from Hamilton 74, 5 stars. Thank you, Hamilton 74. Best podcast. That's absolutely not true but I appreciate the sentiment. Lease number two. Oh yeah. One of my go-to podcast to pass the time at work, the other being marveling at Marvels, Marvels.
Starting point is 00:54:58 Did he really say that? He, she really say that. They did. Yeah. God I'm just so popular. I have so many podcasts. I'm just so cool. Either way Gide. I'm not. I. I. I. I. Either way, Katie, I'm not jealous. You're more than welcome to be on that one. I don't want to be on that one. I'm not going to see a goddamn movie. Either way, Katie and Allen are great hosts. I don't know what the either way is, but I enjoy it. Maybe they think that we would have that disc and that dog it forth. They were like, don't let that deter you. Katie's just jealous. Katie and Allen and her great host, which got me back into watching horror movies. That's awesome. I missed out on and would never have thought to watch. Well besides that piece of trash ginger dead man. Yeah, sorry about that one. We didn't know. That wasn't on us. We didn't th. We didn't th. We didn't. I I I I I I I I I I I I I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. Starting point is 00:55:49 Hey! For a fellow EMTs, I was having trouble finding some of the movies, but found this app called Tobe, this is where I think it turns into a weird advertisement loads of movies you too have reviewed and a huge selection of horror for hopefully future reviews. There's Chromecast support and Xbox app most likely PS4 as well. It is on PS4. I have one and that's where it's on mine too. I'm fine with that plug because if it gets people to be able to see more of these dumb shit movies, you know, I'm happy for them. I highly recommend watching Bud the Chud Chud 2 on Tooby. It's so good. That's an Allen recommendation. I have no endorsement on that. Maybe we'll do that after Hellhouse 3.
