Starting point is 00:00:00 Hey Katie. Hi Alan. How are you? Good. I'm really good. It's Kenny Fisher Day. Yeah. Every so often, one of my cousins and I declared Kenny Fisher Day. Oh, okay. It's a random day. How are you? Good. I'm really good. It's Kenny Fisher Day. It's a random day every year and we just say things that Kenny Fisher says to one another. You don't put on giant pants and goggles. No, I don't don't. But I do say 92%! What's the hose line? I don't see no hose, Kenny. What are we doing this week on wherewulf ambulance ambulance? That guy's his hair keeps blowing up and the hair chair turns on and it's like I know and he's like no, Philadelphia did the Sprint and blah. I literally have no idea what you're saying. Fendul's a betting website. Yeah. Why didn't you just rent it?
Starting point is 00:01:29 Because I was like, ah, I'm just watching through. I'm not spending $2.99 on this podcast that I love. Ethan Embry's taken enough of my money, thank you very much. Has he? I don't know. You could throw Ethan Embry a couple bucks here and there. I do like it. Yeah, me too. I like that he's a, he's like a, a gruff guy now.
Starting point is 00:01:53 Like he's like a dude. Yeah. Because he started balding so he shaved his head. And then he got kind of buff.. And when. And when. And when. And when. to start, to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. Yeah. to. Yeah. to. Yeah. Yeah. to. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. he. th. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah he was. Which I think it's kind of charming actually. Yeah. I really like him in this movie. Although you feel his acting is uh tell me about it. So his style of being earnest is to just put his eyebrows somewhere near his hair line and go. And stare and stare yeah. But he's like so fucking charming. I love Preston Myers. And his character in Empire Records. Emper Records. Mark.
Starting point is 00:02:30 He's so good. But he's so good. Yeah. Oh, no, that's the band. That she makes him the pin that says Mark Sucks. You know way more about that movie than I. I fucking love that movie. Because I am a teenager in the 1990s. Yeah. And I didn't see that movie
Starting point is 00:02:46 until like four years ago. Yeah, it's a little lost on you. No, I liked it. I really, yeah, I really enjoyed. Same reason I like this movie because I feel like it's a really good time capsule. Yeah, it's so isn't, it is absolutely 1998, wrapped up with a little bow on it. Yeah, it's just like oh how many lit songs can we cram into one the the of many Smash Moults is what I have here in the opening credits. Man, that band, huh? That band? I feel like they became just an internet joke, which is kind of nice. Sure. And Guy Fieri's best friend?
Starting point is 00:03:16 Are they best friends with the Guy Fieri? The singer is, like, same dude? You know, I've heard the guy guy guys guys guys guys guys guys guys guys guys guys guys guys guys guys guys guys guys guys guys guys guys like th. th like th like th like th like th like they like they like they like they like th like they like th like th got like th got like th got like th got like th. th. th. th. thi fosts like thi they're like thi, thi. thi. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. I's th. I's th. I's like, th. I's like, th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. that, that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that's that that that that that that that th of twinnies? They're like the same dude. You know, I've heard the guy Fieri is a pretty nice guy. I have no doubt. He like goes to like disaster zones and makes food for people and doesn't like make a big deal of it. Yeah, that's awesome. Yeah, I think you might also be homobey. Yeah, I mean, I'm just like, as a general rule, throwne the the th, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, to. Yeah, to. Yeah, to. Yeah, to. th. to, to, to, to, th. to, th. to, th. to. th. th. the th. the you, probably go avoid you, got to walk the way. Good luck. More than one chain wallet? I'm not going to hang out. So what is this movie? This is a movie that takes place entirely inside a party that is taking place after a graduation,
Starting point is 00:04:00 a high school graduation, everybody's there? And there are like different little storylines that we're following. I think the main storyline is Preston Myers, who wants to declare his love to Amanda Beckett, played by J.Lohue, in very poor fashion. Looking great, hard to listen to. And you know I love Jalo Hugh. Oh, no doubt. Yeah. You go back and listen to the, I know what you did what you th you what you what you th you the th you th you the th you th you th you th you th you th you th you th you th you th you th you th. And you know I love J. LoHugh. Oh no doubt, yeah. You go back and listen to the I Know What You Did Last Summer episode. Which I think I think I finally admitted was not a great movie. See I would say that the I think the overarching story, not overarching, I think the biggest storyline in
Starting point is 00:04:40 this movie is Kenny Fisher and Denise Fleming. Okay. I think they get the most on-screen time. That could be, because they actually are interacting instead of just this build-up to interacting. That haircut is not doing any favors for Lauren Ambrose. I love her, though. She's great. She's great. But Denise is not. Denise is hard to talk to.
Starting point is 00:05:01 But I think she... Now I'm realizing that her character... Did you watch six feet under? I've seen episodes here and there, but not. Her character is kind of if Denise Floming lived in a funeral. Oh God, that sounds bleak. And her boyfriend in that is the guy who throws the pot brownie in her hair. Oh really? Who's been in... Was he in the Paris Hilton, Hiltoniltoniltoniltoniltytytyty hill Hiltytyty hill, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, I I I I I I I, I I I, I I, I I I, I, I I I I, I, I I? I? I? I? I? I? I? I? I? I? I? I? I? I's, I's, I's, I's, I's, I's, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm th. th. th. th. th. tho. to. to. that's th to. that's that's that's th that's th. that's th. th. that's funny. Who's been in... Was he in the Paris Hilton House
Starting point is 00:05:26 of Wax? I have no idea who that guy? I had no... I did not recognize that guy from anything. I only... I know him from Six Feet Under and he's in a bunch of other like TV shows. Yeah. But yeah, there's actually a number of people that were in six feet under that were in this movie. Oh, interesting. Like the one, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I thi, I did, I did, I that, I did, I did, I did, I did, I that, I that, I that, I that, I that, I that, I that, I that, I that, I that, I that, I that, I that, I that, I that, I that, I that, I that, I that, I that, I that, I that, I that, I that, I that, I that, I that, I that, I that, I that, I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I have th. I have th. th. th. th. th. th. I have th. I have that that that that that that that that that, I had that the dude's name. He's part of the, he's part of Peter Fetchinelli's gang. Okay. There's a blonde guy, Hispanic guy, Hispanic guy, and black guy. Hispanic guy, so. Hispanic guy is also in six feet under. They are like a boy band.
Starting point is 00:05:52 They are like, the four of them. Of course, yeah, they all are. their hair guy, the era of boy bands. Sure, you got 98 degrees. You've got... You know them. Don't act like, you don't act like you don't. You've got Backstreet Boys. Yeah. New kids not around anymore? They're gone. They're gone. They're new men now. You've got Marcus Mark. But, I can't remember. Oh yeah, I think she's just like a really good actress. Oh yeah. I just think to, oh yeah, I think she's just like a really good actress. Oh yeah, she was in more stuff.
Starting point is 00:06:26 I just think this role is exceptionally shitty. And I agree that haircut doing no favorites. She's so cute. She has a great face. And they just make her look like a silly, a silly person. Silly Billy. But what was that laugh? Hey! That's the silly belly laugh, hey. I feel like this is in a very 98 fashion, nobody has good hair in this.
Starting point is 00:06:49 Ethan Embrie, no. Not worth it. Jailohue, it is so voluminous. She's getting so much volume from the root. Jamie Presley has those knots tied in her hair. Who's Jamie Presley? Jamie Presley, it was like a 90s, she was a 90s it girl briefly. She is the blonde woman who is one of the friends with the, yeah, with the broad skirt outfit.
Starting point is 00:07:10 Yeah, she, was she on like, my name is Earl or something like that? Yeah, yeah, she was on a lot of stuff around this time. Yeah, she's an it girl. She was an it girl. This movie also has just to thia, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, thus, thus, thus, thus, thus, thus, the the the, the the the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the the, the the the the the the the the the the the the the the th, th, th, th. th. the, the, the. the. thrown, the. the. thee. theeat, the. thee. the. thee. the. the. the of the way, Oh God, what the fuck is her name? The girl who is just stoned, just like looking at stuff throughout the movie, she plays a character called Tara in Buffy the Vampire's Thing. Okay.
Starting point is 00:07:36 And she's great. I really like her. There's a lot of like 90s names in this, like Breck and Meyer and Donald Faeson are in the band, Clea Duval and Selma Blair are both girls at the party. Jerry O'Connell's in there. You got a Jenna Elfman? Yeah. You've got a fucking, uh, Melissa Joan Hart, the original Sabrina of the Teenage Witch. Melissa Joan Hart.
Starting point is 00:07:59 That woman is just unfathomable. Yeah, got a lot of 90s. It, this is a big movie. People love this movie. I love everyone loves this movie. Amber Benson is the woman's name who I couldn't remember. That's Tara. I also like that like, it says, on Wikipedia, it says, uncredited appearances by Jenna Elfman, Jerry O'Connnell, Brecken Meyer and Melissa Joan Hart. They are all certainly in the credits, right? They have those like, when they, when they, when they, when they, when they, when they, when they, when the, when they, when the, when the, when the, when their, their, their, th, th, th, th, th, th, got, got, got, got, got, their, got, got, got, th, got, got, got, their, their, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th. This, th. This, th. This, th. This, th. It, th. It, th. It, th. It, th. It, th. It, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi. It's, this is, this is this is this is this is this is this credits, aren't they? They had those like, when they, when it kicks in with a can't hardly wait at the end of the song, yeah. And then they show all the school pictures, they were definitely in those. They had to be.
Starting point is 00:08:33 Yeah, fuck it. Yeah, Breckenyer. Brecken is a terrible first name, to be fair. He's adorable though. I don't want to put him in my pocket. What else is he? Cluelless. He's Travis Brickenstock.
Starting point is 00:08:57 He was also in another movie we've done, the craft. Oh shit. A thi, th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thin, th. th. thi, thi, thi, th. th. the, the, the, the, the, Brecken is the, Brecken is th. He's, th. He's, th. He's is th. He's, th. He's is th. th. th. He's is is is th. th. th. He's is, th. th. He's. He's. He's. He's. He's. He's. He's. He's, th. He's. He's. He's thi. Br. thre. He's the. Bricken, the. Bricken, the. Bricken, the. Bricken, threa. Brecken is the. Brecken is threa. Bricken is a the. Bricken is 90s people. Yeah, yeah. Yeah. Other party of five people. Yeah So, okay, so, uh, should we go through the different storylines? Sure. I have a feeling you're gonna know them better than I'm gonna know. I've seen this movie. Probably more than most other movies in my in the world. Uh, okay. This is number two for me. So, all right. So you loved it. Loved it. I've the. I've th. I. I. I. I. I. I've th. I've th. I've th. I've th. I've seen. I've seen. I've seen. I've seen. I've seen. I've seen. I've seen. I've seen. I've seen. I've seen. I've seen. I've seen. I've seen. I've seen. I've th. I've seen. I've seen. This is number two for me. Second viewing. So you loved it. Loved it. So Ethan Ambrie wants to tell Jennifer Love Hewitt that he loves her and thinks she's more than just the prom queen because her boyfriend Mike Dexter has broken up with her.
Starting point is 00:09:37 By Peter Fatchnell, who's 25 years old in the filming of this movie, looks 40. Older than the man who was supposed to be in college, Darry O'Connell. Yeah. I remember as a teen thinking that Peter Fatchinelli wasn't that hot, and now as an adult being like, oh, Peter Fatchelie looks great. And it's great. You're gonna watch his movie and think he's hot and not be aggrosso, because he's not bad, I'm fine. I can think dirty things about Peter Fatchinelli if I want to.
Starting point is 00:10:09 Ew, dirty things. Shut up. He's older than me now. A muddy Peter Fatcheli. Okay, stop. Or don't. So, um, yeah, Mike Dexter is broken up with Amanda Beckett. Preston Myers wants to tell her that he loves her, whatever.
Starting point is 00:10:31 He thinks it's fate. The whole thing's about fate, right? They're like soulmates that he saw her. And all right, first problem, he saw her. So basically he called dibs, and then he's mad because somebody else stole her. But she's she's she's she's she's he she's he she's he she's he she's he she's he she's the pop she's the pop she's the pop she's th. th. th. th. th. th. to to to to art to the tune of Smash Mouth for the second time. Hey, no, you're a pop tart. Sorry, come on. So another storyline here is that Mike Dexter is an asshole.
Starting point is 00:10:58 And there's a trio of nerds basically who are going to do a very horrible and homophobic thing to him. Extremely horrible. It's like a lead nerd William Licter and he has two to a toady nerds. One of whom is wearing a trust no one shirt and the other is wearing a truth is out there which I like a lot. In the credit they are known as X-files files 1 and X-files 2 file spelled PHH in a very 1998 I I I I I I I I I I I th. I th. I horrible horrible horrible horrible horrible horrible horrible horrible horrible horrible horrible horrible th. I I I I th. I th. I threme really really really th. I th. It's extremely. It's extremely. It's extremely. It's extremely. It's extremely. It's. It I like a lot. In the credit, they are known as X-Files 1 and X-Files 2, file spelled PHH in a very 1998 way. I love that. That warms me.
Starting point is 00:11:30 I 100% wanted them to make out by the end of this movie. It would have been cute. Yeah. They're like laying on the roof playing with a retainer. They could have totally totototot tot tot tot tot tot tot tot tot tot tot tot tot tot tot tot all totally totally totally totally totally totally totally totally totally totally totally tot. I th. I to tho. I th. I th. I'm they's. I'm they're they're they're they're they're they're they're they're they're they're th. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I th. I. I. I. I. I th. I th. I tot20ing this. Yeah, and I'm looking back 1998 This like oh, so like watching Monster Squad and they're dropping F-bombs. Yeah And you're like, oh it's 86 everybody said that so 98 this was like acceptable cultural to say drop F-bombs and like set up like one of the main storyline thrusts is we're gonna do I guess it kind of backfires but not really? But it doesn't? to? to? to to to to to th, th, th. th, th, the th, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to the to the the to the the the the the up like, one of the main storyline thrust is we're gonna do,
Starting point is 00:12:07 I guess it kind of backfires, but not really. But it doesn't, like Mike loses his job at the car wash because of the photos. Yeah, no, I think it was. I think this was socially, I think, I think, sadly, yeah, I think it was okay to be this homophobic. It wasn't that long ago. Oh yeah for sure, for sure, sure, sure, sure. Sorry, I totally got you off track, but yeah. Well, I was going to tell you about the entire movie. So, just in the beginning, do you think the impetus of this movie is the lyrics to Can't Hardly Wait by the Replacements, which is a fucking perfect song. It's great, I wish we could drop it in, but we can't. But so the opening lyric is I'll write you a letter tomorrow. Yeah. So do you think the person
Starting point is 00:12:52 who wrote this was like, letter can't hardly wait? Got a movie! Yeah, because the song otherwise is very little on the movie. Right, and it's in pure replacement style is unbelievable like the opening stanza is I'll write you a letter tomorrow tonight I can't hold a pen, someone's got a stamp that I can borrow I promise not to blow the address again. I love that. It's so stupid. But it's like oh I mean if you know like I don't know how much you know about their replaquets and alcohol. Yeah so this is this is just like oh I'm so the their their I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I'm the the the th. I'm th. I'm th. I'm th. I'm th. I'm th. I'm th. I'm th. I'm tho. I'm tho. I'm to to thi. I'm to to to to to to to to to to to to to th. I'll th. I'll th. I'll th. I'll th. I'll th. I'll th. I'll th. I'll th. I'll th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I the the th. I'll th. I'll the th. I'll th. I'll th. I'll th. I'll to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to the. I'll th. I th would like ruin their lives with drugs and alcohol. Yeah. So this is just like oh I'm so fucked up that I've fucked your address up. Yeah. Yeah but it's like I'm ready to kill a teen rump. Yeah. Yeah. the thing about that song is that it's poppy as hell too. It's a very weird dichotomy yeah. Well that's one of the beautiful things about the replacements. I loved. their. the replacements. the replacements. I the replacements. I'm their. Oh, for sure.
Starting point is 00:13:45 For sure. I think they were laughing. I think they were. I think I'm laughing with them. Yeah. Okay, so then you've also got Kenny Fisher who is just trying to lose his virginity. Can you give me a little bit of your thoughts on the today, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, their, thi, th, th, th, tho, they're, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I I I, I I I I I I I I I I, I I, I I, I I I, I, he's wonderful. He also has two toe days. He does. They are what we would have called at the time, Yo Dogs.
Starting point is 00:14:09 Okay, I'm very glad that that went that way. Yes, there is another word that I will not be saying. But they're just white guys who listen to rap and are wearing very large clothing of the, the appropriate time in hip. Yeah, and the the the the the the the thiiiii thi thi thi thi thi thi their thi th. And driving thi thi thi thi th. thi th. thi th. the thi th. thi thi thi woom woe thi thi thi woom- thi wo- they are they are they are they are they are they are they are they are they are they are they are they are they are they are they are they are they are they are they are they are th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. thi they are thi thi thi thi thi thi thi that-noooooo-nooo-wo-woo-wo-wo-woo-wo-wooo-woo-wooo-wooo-wooggo' th. th. they appropriate to the time in hip-hop yeah and talking in the vernacular yeah and driving like a GMC giant GMC which is actually hilarious because he's so tiny And that had to be on verbas right that it would be funny oh yeah I bet he thought it was funny too because I get that that vibe from Seth Green because it's so great also a cast member in Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Oh cool. Maybe I should watch that show.
Starting point is 00:14:47 Probably. It's got those early 2000 vibes that I think you'll really be feeling. Yeah. I also just like Kenny's whole thing of like, um, just openly admitting he's has no idea what he's doing where he's like, you know, 92% that whole thing, and he's like, you don't know 20 different ways to call me big pop-up because I don't, which I think is very charming. Yeah, yeah, like that whole thing of like, we've talked about it before,
Starting point is 00:15:13 of like, dude's just ripping around with a condom in their wallet. Yeah. Just like, you don't, God, everybody. He's got a backpack full of condoms and a pleasure, thapcented candle. And a pocket comma suture that he's referencing. I like when he tries to figure out if you should put the condom on before or after he, like takes his pants off. Yo, should I put that kind of on? Nah, no, no, that ain't gonna work. But then he has it. He's like, I get it. He's so stupid. He's so stupid. He's so stupid. Yeah. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. he's, hea. hea. hea. hea. hea. hea. hea. hea. he. he. he. he's, he's, he's, he's, he's, he's like, he's like, he's like, he's like, he's like, he's like, he's like, he's like, he's like, he's like, he's like, he's like, he's like, he's like, he's like, he's like, he's like, he's like, he's like, he's Yeah. He's so stupid. Yeah, I love him. And then there's a couple smaller subplots, like, uh,
Starting point is 00:15:49 there's a band that breaks up before they ever play a note. They already have t-shirts. Yeah. And what is the name of that band? Love Burger? Love Burger. That's funny. And they're all like the guitar players the ska guy. Yeah, yeah. The trummer's wearing a sleeveless flannel and a cowboy head.
Starting point is 00:16:08 Someone calls him Hoody. God. The singer is wearing like shitty knockoff prince outfit or Herman in the Hermon's outfit. And the bass player is like a duke. Grunge dude, yeah. But like Breck and Meyer is in the microphone while it turns and saying like this is our first gig don't screw it up and it's just funny I just like it. Then there are like some other recurring characters like the Swedish Exchange
Starting point is 00:16:37 Student and which I think is just misplaced entirely. Although there is the one great payoff line. Yeah I guess that scene is so heartwarming and then it just th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th just th just th Although there is the one great payoff line. Yeah, I guess. That scene is so heartwarming and then it just turns so silly. Is that it pretty much of the storylines? And I guess Mike Dixter's friends are supposed to break up with their girlfriends too so they can have a summer of dudes but they keep putting it off. Did you know people who when they were going to to the college? Did you know people who th. Did th. Did th. Did th. Did th. Did th. Did th. Did th. Did th. Did th. Did th. Did th. Did th. Did th. Did th. Did th. Did th. Did th. Did th. Did th. Did th. Did, did, did, did, did, did, did, the thi. Did, did, did, did, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, they. I, they. I, th. I, th. I, th. I, th. I, th. I, th. I, th. I, th. I, th. I, th. I'm, th. I'm, th. I'm, th. I'm, th. I'm, toge. I'm, th. I'm, th. I'm, the. I'm, the. I'm, to college, broke off, would break up and be like, I'm going to get so much whatever when I get to college? Not really. Oh, I knew a few people that did that tid.
Starting point is 00:17:10 Yeah. I mean on some level it makes sense, like. You're going to separate ways. Yeah. Yeah. But it was just like, to be fair. Okay, granted, never went. Yeah. Didn't go myself. Just hung out in the college down. Probably could have fucked a little more. Yeah, go for the fucking. Stay for the grades.
Starting point is 00:17:37 And, oh, I guess a storyline like, is also Jennifer Love Hewitt discovering that, like, being alone is okay. Yeah, right. And then, and also her cousin trying to make out with her. So which one do you want to, should we just to tackle each of the storylines or how they interweed? Oh God, I don't know because my notes I have a ton of them. Yeah. And they're, it's not gonna, they're gonna be of no help whatsoever. But they did remind to th to the to to th the th th th th th th th th th th th th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. thi thi thi thi. thi. thi. to be to be to be to be thi. thi. to be to be just to be just to be to be to be to be to be to be to be to be to be to be to be to be to be to be to be to be to be to be to be to be to be to be to be th. th. th. th. th. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. th. thi. the. the. the. toe. toea. toea. toea. toea. toe. toe. toe. toe. toe. toe. to. to. to. it's not gonna, they're gonna be of no help whatsoever. But they did remind me that Jason Seagulls on this movie too. Of 90s, that's right. Yeah. Um, it was funny because I never knew about him until, uh, freaks and geeks.
Starting point is 00:18:14 Yeah. So like seeing this, I was like, oh, fuck, he was in shit before freaks and gi. Yeah. I liked the, uh, so, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's, that's, that's, that's, th. That's, th. That's, th. That's, th. That's, th. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah, that's, that's, that's, that's, that's, that's that's that's that's that's that's th. that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's his name? William William is Recounting all the shitty stuff that Mike Daxter has done to him. Yeah, and he just holds up a pair of pants that are covered in brown And he goes who could forget the pudding it's yeah, I know no one else has. He never watched those pants. No, you're dirty boy. Come on watch his pants. But he's so the stunt that he's gonna have is he he forces his to to? He? to watch. to watch. to watch. to to watch. to to to to to to to to to to to the to the to to to the the the to to to the the the their their their their their their their their their the the their the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the they. the they. the they. toe. toe. toe. to. to. t. t. to. tr. tr. tr. tr. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. the the the the the So the stunt that he's going to have is his... he forces his two like toadies to wait on top of a shed without a way of getting down, what they peeing off that shed? I guess. And they agree to do it, because they're buds.
Starting point is 00:19:00 And they're going to jump down and strip two football players completely naked after they chloroform them. The chloroform they mixed in Chem Lab, which is really funny to me. And then take compromise pictures of the two of them together. Yeah. They have a lot of props for this as we see later. There's a lot of props, but also as a nerd in high school, I'm not attacking football players. You would if you had chloroform.
Starting point is 00:19:25 No, I wouldn't. Chloriform is like a sneaking up behind not a jumping on top of situation. I guess. Although it works, they did it. Yeah, it does work. What do I know? I don't see no house, Kenny. So we get to the party. And we get to the party.
Starting point is 00:19:47 This is a really hard movie to talk about it. I didn't really think about it. Is it because you love it too much? Yeah, I love it too much and it's all just a big blur of love to me. And I don't want to waste its flavor. Because I love Kenny Fisher. You just want to quote him. That's, I can do it all, I can do it all night.
Starting point is 00:20:08 Barge it in here like a freaking moose! Which I say, weakly to Rob. He won't leave me alone in the bathroom, God. So Ethan Embry has convinced his best friend Denise to go with him to the party. Right, we learned that he's leaving tomorrow, which is a very high school thing like, leaving tomorrow. It's leaving tomorrow to go to a Kurt Vonnegut workshop. I was like, you can't get any more 1998 than that.
Starting point is 00:20:36 That was perfect. And also how long can this, you know? I was reading so much Kurt Vonnegut at this point. Oh yeah. I was crushing it. It meant to be. Yeah. Fate. So he convinces her to go to this party because he's going to tell Amanda that he loves
Starting point is 00:20:58 her. Yeah. And then promptly abandons Denise. Like, what did he, how did he he, how did, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, thinks, thinks, thinks, thinks, thinks, thinks, thinks, thinks, thinks, thinks, thinks, thinks, thinks, thinks, thinks, thinks, thinks, thinks, thinks, thinks, thinks, thinks, thinks, thinks, thinks, thinks, thinks, thinks, thinks, thinks, thi, thi, of all, what did he, how did he think she think she was going to get home? I don't know. And how did she think she was going to get home? So he thinks he's got this letter that he wrote her years ago that he's been revising and revising and revising. He's a writer. Yeah. You can tell because he's dressed kind of quirky too. And he's going to give her, because, because he, because he's kind of, because he's kind of, he, because he's kind of, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he's he, thi, he, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, he was he was he was he, he, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th is th, th, th is th, th is th is th is th is thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, and thi, thin, thi, thi, and thi. thi. And thi. And thi. And, thin, thi, thi, th's gonna give it, he thinks he's gonna give her the letter and they're just like, well, I guess we're together forever now and I have to leave Denise behind. Like, what was his plan? I don't know. But he does leave Denise behind. He could easily have taken her with him. Because he leaves that party not once, but twice. Oh man. Do you do do do do do do do do you do you do you do do do do do do do do to do to do to do to do to do to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that. He that he that he th. He's thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi that thi that that that that that that that that he could that he that he that he that he that party, not once, but twice. Oh man.
Starting point is 00:21:47 Do you have any like, not so much back, I guess I didn't hang out with people so much back then, but like, people finding me on Facebook or whatever, they're like, hey, do you remember this thing in high school? Like that one dude in the movie who was just like, oh, do you remember in like 7th grade? We did this thing? And those people th people th people th people th people th th th th th th th th th th th are th th th th th th th th th are th th th th th tho people tho people tho people tho, tho, tho, tho, tho, tho. I tho, tho, tho, tho, tho, tho, tho, tho, tho, who just like, oh, do you remember like seventh grade? We did this thing? And those people that are like, hey, do you remember this? I'm like, absolutely not.
Starting point is 00:22:07 What the fuck are you talking? And who are you? And who are you? Yeah. That is just like, Sabrina the teenage witch is just try to get everyone to sign her yearbook. Never in your life. So we don't even have your poetry. My pace. Someone's got it. Delaware High, class of 1992.
Starting point is 00:22:30 Get us that yearbook. My favorite part is I'm not going to correct you about what high school I went to. I have no idea what it's called. I assume it's Delaware. Delaware. It's small state and one high school. The party is slamming. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:22:46 It's off the chain. I would love to go to this party. Today? And at any point in my given life. It's at Molly Stinson's house. Yeah, she's the one with the weird knees. That somebody say that? She's great.
Starting point is 00:23:03 I thought she was, oh God, I'm not gonna be able to pull the actress's name. When I first saw her, oh shit. What was she in? Uh, she's in the latest Halloween movie? Uh, did you see the latest Halloween movie? Judy Greer? Yeah, I thought it was Judy Greer. She does have a Judy Gre flavor. And apparently not a link on Wikipedia, so I guess she hasn't done a ton of stuff. Wow. Do you ever wonder what was in her refrigerator? I will think about it all the time.
Starting point is 00:23:28 I assumed it was shit. Might have been, could have been anything. But the party's off the chain and like, which seems like a very 90s thing to say. And it was dope and fat. I used fat the other day. I was like, fucking can't hardly wait. And yeah, Ethan Embry's going off on his thing and Denise gets left alone and then there's all these great interactions that she has with people. I love when the girl comes and sits next to her and the girl's wearing like a very frumpy dress. And she's like, aren't you in my language class? Yeah, yeah, yeah I am. She's. She's, she's, she's, she's, she's, she's, she's, she's, she's, she's, she's, she's, she's, she's, she's, she's, she's, she's, she's, she's, she's, she's like, she's like, she's like, she's like, she's like, she's like, she's like, she's like, I's like, I's like, I's like, I's like, I's like, I's like, I's like, I's like, I's like, I's like, I's like, I. yeah, I am. She's like, I fucking do it, you want me $5.
Starting point is 00:24:06 It's so mean. It's so mean in high school. But like, why doesn't Denise just leave? Why does she stay at that party? Oh, she could have apparently walked home. She tried to, yeah. Luckily, she didn't have to. because Seth Green Bix are up in his GMC. Oh, he did real quick at the beginning when they're like kind of like going through graduation and someone mentions French class and then they zoom in on two kids French kissing and I was like,
Starting point is 00:24:32 oh, that's cute. You did that. Yeah. I like that. I also like when they do their like little senior yearbook things to introduce each character and it tells me like what activities they're doing in their future plans and their quote. Because the quotes are really funny. The one woman says Jules lyrics. It's, yeah, it's Jennifer Love Uitt, which is like very apropos for that character. I definitely had a book of Jules Poetry in high school. Do you remember those poems? They're so fucking bad. Are they? I feel like they were all about Alaska.
Starting point is 00:25:01 I mean, Joel's lyrics, not that great, but like a bow trees. Who is shave your show? I was so sad when she fixed her snaggle too. Yeah, it was cute. Uh, I find it unreasonable that Mike Dexter would go to Ithaca. I think he's going to Purdue, you know. It doesn't strike me as an upstate New York kind of the ta. No, no. Hard to park on that campus, the the the the the the the the the th. th. th. th. thia thia th. thia thia thia thia thia thia thi. th. Hard to park on that campus. I think of facts. I went to I think over the summer. It was real hard to park there. Yeah. Yeah, there was a beautiful area. It is. Finger lakes and whatnot. I'm such a
Starting point is 00:25:34 fucking nerd. I went there because there was a, like a collection of German witchcraft books that I went to go look at, I can't read German. No, but you saw him. I just went to look at books, that's cool. Go, saw him with my eyes. Yeah, he's going to Ithaca. I mean, do they even have sports scenes? I don't think, I don't think, because they said he loses his football scholarship. And I was like, I'm hard pressed to believe you got a football football football football3 football? That doesn't sound right to me. It's Mike Dexter. He's a role model.
Starting point is 00:26:07 I know, like, half the words you just said it. Yeah, so William downloaded this little baby off the net to tell him how much alcohol he could drink. What is it? I don't know. It's just a card and he looks at it and he's immediately drunk. Gives it away immediately. I do love that scene of him spitting out the beer and being like, nobody drank the beer! The beer has gone bad!
Starting point is 00:26:31 I think it's fine. And then you just start to chucking at it. Sipping it like, mmm. I remember having that feeling about beer. Oh yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah. I feel like I had that more with malt liquor when that was introduced to my life. And I was like, oh, this beer has gone bad. And so did I after I drank it. Oh God, it's never good, is it? No.
Starting point is 00:26:53 Mickeys never makes anyone a better person, you know. Tell that to House of Pain. Um, when Kenny's at the party and I think Mike Dexter, yeah. It was Mike Dexter, yeah. And he, this, this, this, this, this, this, this, this, this, this, this, this, this, this, this, this, this, this, this, this, this, this, this, this, this, this, this, this, this, this, this, this, this. It was Mike Dexter, yeah. And he's like, watch out white boy. And she's like, hmm, Kenny. I know. And then he like sort of fronts at him and then Mike Dexter does it back against Seth.
Starting point is 00:27:16 He's a great physical comedian. Yeah, it's kind of a bummer he doesn't act more these days. Yeah, what's he does does????? the? th. th. th. th. th. th. th. thi. thi. thi. thi? thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. th. th. th. th. th. th. thi. thi. thi. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. Starting point is 00:27:50 Don't, don't do it. That didn't go well last time. You know, I was fine. Look, there are worse things in the song. Just the song. Farther down, I love Matthew Sweet. I do. I do. It's like a feeling for me of a certain time when things really meant a lot to you. Yeah. I only know girlfriend from him. I don't know any other. You know I'm sick of myself? You know that. That's a hot jam. Listen to it. Listen to it. Listen to when I leave. Listen to it. Okay, so, so, so, so, so the William's storyline is basically that he becomes the life of the party and does a singing and dancing version of Paradise City, which is pretty good.
Starting point is 00:28:36 I love how he wins everybody over. Yeah, by just being like a drunk maniac. Yeah. And he has that line about like, I can't feel my legs, I have no legs, which I like a lot. But it's like, I think that diminished what he did because he's like, I can't feel my legs. I have no legs! Yeah, and then he goes in the makeup room with a bunch of girls. It's so awesome. They force it in there. And then other girls are like, did they go in the makeup with William Lictor? I wanted so th th th th th th th th th th th th th th. th. I th. And th. And th. And th. And th. And then other girls are like, did they go in the makeup room with William Lictor? So jealous. Meanwhile, Kenny is trying to mack it to every woman at the party. I like a list of ten.
Starting point is 00:29:14 I like the one that he's like, I forgot her name is, hey, hey, yo, Corinne, baby, what's up? And this woman just walks by really slowly and then he approaches um Kleea Duval and he's like asks her to dance and she's like I'm allergic and he goes allergic to dancing she just goes yeah she's so cool she is so cool much better hair than they had made her have in the faculty oh god that was so bad it was so wet so greasy and then then so blonde. Oh yeah when she turns an arm. So eventually Kenny gets locked in the bathroom with Denise. Right because he goes up there to, because he overhears a woman who's saying my boyfriend
Starting point is 00:29:59 cheated on me, I'm gonna have sex with the next guy that talks to me. And he's like he looks directly into the camera. the camera. the camera. the camera. the camera. the camera. the camera. the camera. the camera. the camera. the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the to. to. the the to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. I. I. I. the. I. I. So. I. I. the. So. I. the. I. So. Yeah. I. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I gonna have sex with the next guy that talks to me. And he's like... He looks directly into the camera, which I like a lot. And then he's like, oh baby, I would never treat you. I see an angel sitting right in front of me. I definitely know every line he has in this movie. It is sick and not cool, just sick. Like an illness. Yeah. Think about how much like I could have read and known instead of just learning Kenny Fisher's lines. Well before he gets locked in the bathroom his friends will go up and they're like oh how's it going with getting the ladies? That's what they say, yep. And he starts talking about all the hoes. Yeah. Trying to knock the boots. And his friend says, I don't see no hoes, Kenny.
Starting point is 00:30:50 Would you have just said in random conversations? Say it all the time. It means everything to me. It's my smurf. So meanwhile, J. LoHue is being, is like having a heart to heart with a guy who is wearing like a super shiny silver buttoned down polyester shirt. Mm-hmm. We are who is introduced to us as Ron, her second cousin.
Starting point is 00:31:14 Her second cousin. Yeah. Yeah. The fact that he's her cousin is such a weird detail. Like, it's just weird. Second cousin. So he like listens to her talk about how she's she's the th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th, the second cousin, through marriage. So he like listens to her, talk about how she's not just the prom queen,
Starting point is 00:31:29 and she's gonna find out who she is, and she doesn't realize, like really know why she was with Mike for so long anyway. And then he grabs her knee and tries to kiss her. He does. And then Preston sees her being kissed by this guy, it's like a comedy of errors kind of and he just gets upset and leaves the party. Throws the letter into the trash can. That's the last we'll ever see of that letter. Right. It's gone forever. Gone forever. Until a woman with like Steve Madden chunky healed sandals comes and steps on it, which are so 1998. I do love the rub goldburgness of that. I do too. Where?
Starting point is 00:32:05 Another Smash Mouse. I'm not joking, it is. Oh, we did have to mention that when bust a move comes on. I'm like, God damn, it's a good jam. This is a great sound track. It opens with Third Eye Blind, graduate. Can I graduate! Can I graduate!
Starting point is 00:32:19 Can I graduate! This is a great soundtrack. Third eye blind. I am correct. Everything I have said is correct. No doubt. No doubt. I still stand the single soundtrack, so. What are you going to do?
Starting point is 00:32:39 But let's do the quick. So someone throws Sabrina the teenage witch's yearbook into the trash because everyone's just throwing it away. She tries to get, because she's apparently a nerd. And so she's throwing the trash. She throws a letter on the ground. Somebody steps in gum, then steps on the letter, takes a letter in the house. Without chunky heeled, Steve Met and Sandals. I'm just saying, I know those shoes. It gets like kicked at somebody as she gets in the door.
Starting point is 00:33:11 It flies around and eventually ends up in like a chip bowl or something? Yeah, right in front of Amanda and it's got her name on it. She picks it up and reads it and she looks around and her acting. She is acting. I mean I feel like she's always acting. It's bad. Do you remember in I know what you did last summer where she's trying to call out the murderer and she's just like spinning around with her arms foot? She's like Neruda running in the street. yelling what are you waiting for? Come at me bro? She's not a great actor I know. Yeah I know. I know. I know. I the I I I I I I the I the I feel. I feel. I feel. I feel. I feel. I feel. I feel. I feel. I feel. I feel. I feel. I feel. I feel. I feel. I feel. I feel. I feel I feel I feel I feel I feel I feel I feel I feel I feel I feel I feel I feel I feel I feel I feel I feel I feel I feel I feel I feel I feel I feel I feel I feel I feel I feel I feel I feel I feel I feel I feel I feel I feel I feel I feel I feel I feel I feel I feel I feel I feel I feel I feel I feel I feel I feel I feel I feel I feel I feel I feel I feel I feel I feel I feel I feel I feel I feel I feel I feel. I feel. I feel. I feel. I feel. I feel I feel. I feel. I feel. I feel I feel. I feel I feel. I feel. I feel I feel I feel I feel I feel I feel I feel. I feel I feel. I feel I feel. I feel I feel. I feel like. the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the th th. I feel yelling, what are you waiting for? Come at me, bro!
Starting point is 00:33:46 She's not a great actor. I know. I know. I don't know why I care for her. That's fine. Probably because of this movie. Yes, there's so much, like having seen this movie, I feel like much like we had talked about,
Starting point is 00:33:59 oh no, that won't have happened yet. We talked to him about like ghost Mr. Chicken and how you like that's. that's. that's. that's. that's. that's. that's. that's. that's. that's. that's. that's. that's. that's. that's. that's like, I like, I like, I like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, th. Yeah, th. th. th. that, th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. to him about like Ghost and Mr. Chicken and how you feel like that's going to unlock a lot of Alan. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I think this movie unlocks a lot of Katie. Yeah, I believe that. I'm like, oh, this is probably why she loved Romeo and Juliet by Dyer's Streets. Oh yeah, that and Empire Records that appears in that movie. Yeah. So Kenny and Denise are locked in the bathroom and we learned that they used to be best friends when they were small, but Kenny had to sit with the trendy kids at the cafeteria. But then I wondered how did Kenny get from the trendy table to this? Because he's clearly like a mocked character. Sure he's a joke. He's not popular, you know.
Starting point is 00:34:39 He really like, down went downhill. Well, I feel like he's like, I knew kids in high school that like tried to glom on to the trendy kids and then would just like get cast off. And I feel like he is one of the cast-offs. Oh, poor Kenny. But also I felt like, I felt for them so much because I went to from kindergarten to 12th grade with the same class. Yeah. And we got like like like like like like like like like like like like like like like like like like like like to like to like to like to like to like to like to like to like to like to like to like to like to like to like to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the try. the the the try. the the try. to to to to to to kindergarten to 12th grade with the same class. Yeah. And we got like bused to the city and we like moved around up. So like but it was basically
Starting point is 00:35:10 the same kids for the most part. So like I had people that I was friends with in great school that I just stopped talking to. Right. And so like you're graduating and there's that whole. I guess I'll never see you again. Yeah. Anyway. So like. the fact. the fact. the fact. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I was like, I was like, I was like, I was like, I was like, I was like, I was like, I was like, I was. th. th. th. I was. I was. I was. I was. I was. I was. I was. I was. I was. I was. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. th. th. th. the. th. th. th. the. th. th. th. the. th. the. the. the. the. I th. I 'll never see you again. Yeah. Anyway. Bye. Yeah. So like the fact, like, I thought that was a really good story dynamic of the two of them like kind of knowing who they are, but still being like so distant at this point. And then they make out and then they fuck. It's super disappointing. I also felt for him on that. Yeah. But then it's like revealed that he wrote Denise Fleming as a tampon on her locker and she told someone that he's a dendrophiliac, which is a person who has sex with trees.
Starting point is 00:35:52 Which is just very funny to me. Dendrophilia is great. Yeah. I also thought it was really funny when the band is fighting and they're breaking up and theirckenmeyer throws... He said that with their clenched teeth, like he'd angered you in some way. I thought it was his last name. Breckenmeyer. He's smoking in the house and he throws a cigarette on the floor and lights the drapes on fire. The woman who lives in the house runs over and puts the fire out and is down there and shubs her face. That was good. That was really funny.
Starting point is 00:36:28 And then that's when I think the Paradise City scene happens. Sometime around the, yeah, yeah. That happened for a guy at my high school too, except it was the high school talent show and he did Earth Angel wearing a bunch of eyeliner, and girls like lost their panties at him. He was a nerd and then he was like a sex machine. Whoa, that's like some like Johnny Depp and crybaby shit. I've never seen that. I don't know what that means. It's like a 50s set movie where Johnny Depp is Cry Baby and everybody loves him. Oh okay. Yeah, sorry. It happened for Nate. Congratulations Nate. That's hilarious. High school talent show, Earth Angel. I remember like popular girls. I that that that that that that that that that that that th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th like th. Wow th. Wow th. Wow th. Wow th. Wow th. Wow, wow, wow, wow, wow, wow, wow, wow, wow, wow, wow, that's like, that's like, that's like, that's like, that's like, that's like, that's that's that's that's that's that's th. Wow, wow, wow, wow, th. Wow, th. Wow, th. Wow, th. Wow, th. Wow, th. Wow, thi thi. thi. thi. thi. thiiiii. thiii. Wow, thi. Wow, thi's like, thi's like, thi. Wow, thi. Wow, thi. Wow, talent show, Earth Angel. I remember like popular girls
Starting point is 00:37:07 being like, I want to marry him. The only thing I remember about the high school talent show is my friend's band covering Master of Puppets. That's so timely. And it goes on for like 10 minutes. It's a really long song. It was a three minute just guitar solo. Wow, class of 92. I think it's locked up my memory because they said fuck on stage in the talent show. How much trouble did they get in? A lot of trouble for that. But they were also like the fucking like AP nerd kids. Yeah, how much trouble could you get in? Yeah. Sorry. Sorry. Anyway. So Mike Dexter also gets a the the the the the the th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. the, th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. to, th. to to to to to to the. to to to to to to to to the to to the the the the. the. the. th. th. trouble could you get in? Yeah. Sorry, anyway. So Mike Dexter also gets real drunk and then ends up outside having a conversation with Jerry O'Connell as Tripp MacNeely, which is the best-named character in the movie, who is like a college guy who came back to hang out at a high school party. And he's telling Mike about how he
Starting point is 00:38:03 should stay with Amanda because girls in college only care about ecomological shit. Very funny. They all want to be with older dudes. It was so, it was so perfect. He's like, he's a pre-med, they all are. But that's also funny because it like kind of subverts that like whole thing of like the hunky football player is just going to do great. Right. His last line is about bringing flip-flops to wear in the shower because he has warts all over his feet.
Starting point is 00:38:34 Which is just disgusting. I love the scene where before Ethan Emory, I think it's before he goes to give the letter to Amanda. And he's just like heartfelt-feltly talking to someone. To the... Yeah, yeah, yeah. You don't see who it is? He's giving the speech about how, like, I want her to understand that I think she's more than just the prom queen.
Starting point is 00:38:55 And I think Matthewsweet farther down is playing again hey but it's so good because like they just turned to the foreign exchange student who has learned this phrase earlier in the movie and he just says do you want to touch my penis would you like to touch my penis I am a sex machine it's so fucking funny it's also like come on movie also so someone Blair's in this movie. Yeah, she's Skanky. Jeff Gernerson, you called a Skanky. Like, because of that, you just called her Skanky.
Starting point is 00:39:36 Yeah, well, Call all those that guys I see it, Selma Blair. So, Amanda reads a letter, doesn't know who Preston is. So she goes and talks to this guy who is like the most stereotypical stoner in the world. Oh, that's the guy who is in six feet under. Oh, okay. And Jason Siegel, who's eating a whole watermelon. Never mind, not the same guy, thinking of somebody else.
Starting point is 00:40:01 Okay, the guy, the blonde guy with the big hair, he's talking about how Velma was a hip-hip lady. And they also have that scene where William's talking about the salt on the pretzel and how those stars are just God's waiting to eat us. That was like my aim profile forever. So this movie just permeated every aspect of their life. It's fucked. I realized now I'm a sad sack of a human being. What the fuck are you talking about? So they're describing Preston Myers as has hair and wears t-shirts sometimes. He's just Preston, man. That was very funny too. It's very funny.
Starting point is 00:40:38 So then, Preston, so Mike confronts Amanda and says says you don't want me to take you back and he like tries to embarrass her in front of a crowd of people she ends up embarrassing him somebody in there calls him the F word in a for of its time was probably a very funny scene yeah I think so in retrospect not of so much not of so much I think everyone's probably a little more ashamed of that one now. Yeah. Mm-hmm. But then all these guys come up to Amanda and start being real gross to her. Oh yeah. And then Preston yells, Amanda, I love you.
Starting point is 00:41:12 And then she tries to talk to her and she fucking flips on him. She's understandably fed up at this point. Oh yeah. Yeah. with Preston feeling like he's owed something. Sure. Yeah, yeah, yeah, for sure. But I do like that he lets it go. The next morning when we see him again, he's like, well, it didn't work out and I guess it wasn't meant to be and I'm moving on. Yeah, yeah. So like taking no for an answer I feel is like fairly progressive for 98 in a sad, sad way. For sure. For but also it's kind of left. He is sort of lovable though too. Oh for sure. So you know, yeah, those eyebrows.
Starting point is 00:41:53 Just going up and up and up and up. But like it, but it's also like they don't kiss at the end. They're like, like, they they kiss they kiss they kiss at they kiss at they kiss they kiss. they kiss. they they they they they they they they don't. they don't. they don't. they don't. they don't. they don't. they don't. they don't. they don't. they don't. they don't. they don't. they don't. they don't. they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they're. they're. th. th. to to to try. try. try. try. try. try. try. try. try. try. tell. tell. th. th. th. th. th. th end. Oh, that's right, because he runs up in kisses. Yeah. Of course, they kiss at the end. Oh my God. OK, I was going to say, because it just kind of left. I was like, oh, maybe we'll hang out when you come back. No, she writes them a letter for every day's away. Why I don't know. They have instant messaging. Two years before this, right? 96? I think so. No, it's 98. I'm sorry. It's not a great ongoing joke I'm working with, but you've got mail came out.
Starting point is 00:42:29 I'm just agreeing with you now. Thank you. What is he, New York 1523 or whatever? Something like that. So, oh you're right, it's diner. And he's like turning to use the phone booth to call Barry Manilow because earlier he heard Mandy and that was like his sign that he should talk to Amanda and now Barry Manilow is having a concert in Tokyo so that he can call him at 2 a.m. to talk to him at 2 a to talk to. It's fucking stupid stupid. It's stupid. It's stupid. It's stupid. It's stupid. The man. It's stupid. The man. the man. the man. the man. to. to. to. to. to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to be to be to be to be to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to their. their their their their their their their their their. their their. their. their their. their their. their their their to their. to to to dog? I have no idea either. I feel like I should know. It should. You've based your entire life on this. Stop. Just because I named my daughter Amanda Beckett
Starting point is 00:43:15 my last name. Amanda Breckenmeyer. So he's trying to use the phone booth and an apparition appears. An angel? It's, isn't she Darma from Darmu and Gray? She is. And she is super into Scientology. So she's a bad one, yeah. But there's a lot of people in this movie who turned out to be a not-so great. Oh really?
Starting point is 00:43:42 Is that how we're going to end the podcast? You're just just just just just just just just just just just just just just just just just just just just just just just just thing. So, no. So, thii. So, thi. So, thi, thi, thi, th. So, th. So, th, th, th, th, thi, th, th, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, to to to thi, to to to to to to thi. thi. thii. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi, that how we're going to end the podcast? You're just going out everybody who's to? Nope. So it's a Jenna Elfman. She rolls up and she's a exotic dancer that is dressed as an angel. She's like a shitty little harp. She's really funny. She has a harp jammed in her purse. She pulls it out when she's looking for her Marlboro lights. Oh my god it's so good. Which I also like because that that that that that that that that that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's what that's what that's what that's what that's what that's what that's that's the that's the the the the the they they the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the their their their their their their their their their their their their their th. th. th. th. I was tho. I was tho. I was thooooooooooooo. I was thoooooooo. I was th. I was th. I was th. I was good. Which I also like, because that's what I was smoking at the time. Or as we called them, slut butts. What? Because they're girl cigarettes? At least that's 1998. 90, 99, 99.
Starting point is 00:44:13 I smoked menthols. I smoked menthols. I smoked menthol they walk away. Oh, you want one of these coals? They'd be like, no. You were so cool though. With a k. So cool. So she hangs up his phone call with Barry Manilow and then gives him some great life advice.
Starting point is 00:44:36 About Scott Bayo. Also a terrible person. they're kind of like yeah he's a shitty dude yeah yeah fuck scop a oh my god just shut your fucking mouth scabio shutting up is both easy and free a friend of ours actually friends of ours Allison and Sarah went to the march the women's march yeah in shirts and say Joanie hates Hatching oh that's awesome I love that yeah so. So fucks up you. Yeah. But I really like that scenes great. Whether she's giving him the advice and they're just talking. And yeah, I really like that scene. It's about how there's such a thing as fate but it can only take you so far. And you got to do it yourself. Yeah. Yeah. It's like the like coming of age moment for him. Yeah. Yeah. It's like coming of age. Yeah. Yeah. It's like. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. It's like. It's like. Yeah. It's like. It's like. It's like. It's like. It's like. It's like. It's like. It's like. It's like. It's like. It's like. It's like. It's like. It's like. It's like. It's like. It's like. Like. Like. Like. Like. Like. Like. It's like. It's like. Like. Like. Like. Like. Like. Like. Like. Like. Like. It's like. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. was really sweet and her hair was insane. It's so 1998. It's like curled and... It's short and curls and just like...
Starting point is 00:45:30 And there's bangs? Yeah, it's very strange. It's very strange. Oh, yeah, we're into this. Well, there's not too much movie left at this minute. So Denise and Kenny have fucked. Yes. So Denise and Kenny have fucked and it's very awkward afterwards, like so tangibly awkward that like those actors are both so good and like you feel terrible in that room.
Starting point is 00:45:54 Yeah. Yeah, and I'm sure. She's like trying to give advice and it's ill-received. Because it's his first time but not hers and she's like, it'll get better. Which is like something that people should probably know the first time, but not hers, and she's like, it'll get better. Which is like, something that people should probably know the first time. Yeah, but you know one wants a critique right after the Dunbonin. Oh, you didn't have the questionnaire that you handed her. And how was my performance? Oh, it was bad. It was bad. It was bad. Soups bad. You can't just lay there. So he then he like flips back into his like yo dog. Yeah. Persona. He has dropped
Starting point is 00:46:32 to that. Yeah. He's like I don't always talk like that. Yeah. And he goes back into it and then she is understandably upset. And then Molly busts in and was like, oh, that's how they get out. Yeah. And she's like covered in something and her hair is all wild. Because the police have come at this point. And there's this great everybody fleeing the police song said to damn it, the Blink-182 song. And I just love, I love it so much. It's so fucking funny. So then she's gonna walk home, Kenny Caesar on the street and was like let me just give you a ride home. Yeah and then he apologizes in a
Starting point is 00:47:17 very sheepish way. Yeah and it's sweet. Yeah and it's sweet. Yeah so the next, oh so so then William has convinced when the cops come, William convinces Mike Dexter who he thinks he's like made up with and become friends. th funny th funny th funny th funny funny funny funny funny funny funny funny funny funny funny funny funny funny funny funny funny funny funny funny funny funny funny funny funny funny funny. Yeah. To run to hide behind the pool house with him. So when they get there, the other two nerds jump off the roof and chloroform William and Mike. And take the compromising photos. And take the compromising photos, which involve like latex gloves, stockings on their heads. I think like a feather duster is somewhere. And like, um, pom pom pombs. Yeah, yeah, pom pomps the snack cakes that are like put on his boobs.
Starting point is 00:47:55 They're their snack cakes? Yeah, I never knew that. Oh, I like that. Oh, I like that. Yeah, okay. All right. But like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, the. the. the the the the the the. the. the. the. the. the, the, the, the, the, the, the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. chunk bit out of it. I didn't even notice that. Oh, I love that Because they've broken the flashlights earlier pretending they were lightsabers So it's dark and they don't know it's William when they find the lights Find the flashlight. Yeah and shine it and realizes William they just run because the cops are coming. Yeah, I love that though. They're just like fuck? Oh, they? I? Yeah, I? Yeah, I? Yeah, I? Yeah, I? I? I? I? I? I? I? I? I? I? I? I? I? I they? I they? I they? I they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they're? I they they they they they're? I? They're just like, fuck it. Also, they didn't have to put those pictures out into the world with their- No, I guess they left them there because they were falling from the camera, because the
Starting point is 00:48:32 cops find the pictures. They're on polarites, that's right. I just see my note that after Kenny and Denise had sex, they were like, like like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, their, their, like, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their from a shower curtain covering them and I wish that it just been Kenny's pants. His pants are enormous. They're comedically big. There was a comp that came out this time around this time I think it was a no idea records out of Florida put out a comp and I think it was just on the record matrix it said giant pants are a waste of precious fabric because everyone's pants were so fucking big. So fucking big. I fit a family of five in there.
Starting point is 00:49:09 And even I like, I didn't wear big pants but I didn't wear big pants but I didn't think. I didn't wear big pants but I didn't think. Your pants being so big at the bottom that they would just like tread under your heels. And they would get torn up and be too too too too too too too too too too too too too to be to be too too to be too too to be too to be too too to be too to be too to be to be to be to be to be to be to be toe toe. tooes. tooing. tooes. to f. to f. to fa. to ff. to ffing. to f. to f. to f. their their their their their their their their to f. to f. to f. to f. to f. to f. to f. to f. to f. to f. to f. to f. to f. to f. to f. too o'a. their too. the. thea. thea. thea. thea. thea. thea. thea. thea. thea. thea. thea. thea. the at the bottom that they would just like tread under your heels and then they would get torn up and be too short in the bag. It's so muddy. And the salt, all the salt, street salt. Anyway, so William wakes up in jail with an raging hangover, which seeing that now as an adult, I'm like, oh, like, I feel like I want to throw up because I know exactly how he feels.
Starting point is 00:49:47 Sure. Though I've never been arrested. Sure. Really? Yeah, man. Me, I don't know how I did it. Me either. I should have been multiple times.
Starting point is 00:50:00 Yeah. I never spent the night in jail. I spent an evening in a police station once. That makes it tell you had a fine meal. Yeah, yeah, it was just, yeah. They let us go eventually. Can we talk about the, when uh, Kenny's Toties dropped the end bomb to the four black man at the the party. I like that though because they are chased and you know, yeah. I like that it's like, no it's not fucking okay. It's not fucking okay for you to say that. But then when they are hiding in bushes and when the, um, the black party goers leave, they're like, oh, but I would not like the, oh, I would, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, the, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, th, th, th, th, th.. th. th. th. the, th. th. the, they, th. they, they, they, they, they, they, they, they, they, they, have. I think that's so stupid. And like perfect for what people would have done.
Starting point is 00:50:46 Yeah. I like the, or I did not like the, when Denise was like, you know you're white, right? To Kenny and it was like, yeah. Yeah. Yeah. But you know, it's 1998 and it's everything's very confusing. So we cut to the next morning. Yeah, Mike wakes up, he up, he gets his parents get him out of jail I guess. Oh right, he says to the cop, like, did you see my parents? Are they mad? And they're like, no they're worried about you because Mike Dexter held you down, forced you to drink alcohol and then whatever. Which is like, so he's like, oh, we're friends now. Yeah, we're pros. Mike did cover for him. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. to. to to to to to to to to to to to to to the to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to the the the the their. their. Do, the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to the to the to the diner where everyone's having breakfast. He's in way too chipper a mood for how fucking hungover he's gotta be. I know you're like 18 but no. I got accidentally hungover a couple weeks ago and like I woke up and I was like, oh this fucking sucks.
Starting point is 00:51:36 Yeah. Just combine to beers that shouldn't have gone together and it just... Can I tell you what's a nightmare? Yeah. thi th of the th. that to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to their their to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to their their their their you you their you you're like, I their you you're like, I their their their their their their their their their their th. Being hung over with a two-year-old? Oh my god. I can't imagine. Making you watch Blippy? You're like, please turn that down. I don't know what Blipy is? That's count yourself the luckier for it. So they goes to the diner and he's like, hey Mike, how's it going? Mike? Mike, how's be playing with your computer? And then he does the like four eyes thing with his hands. Yeah. And then it's like a freeze frame on William leaving the diner and we're told that he's like a tech mogul and dating a billionaire. Yeah. Or dating a supermodel.
Starting point is 00:52:16 He's a billionaire, what too. to him. She might be a billioner. She's independently wealthy also. But Mike lost his scholarship because he drank too much beer. Just silly. And then got fired from the car wash when the incriminating Polaroid surfaced, which is gross. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:52:33 Yeah. Yeah. Ethan Embry has taken off. He says goodbye to Denise in a very sweet way. Denise and can he break up, and then 10 minutes later find a bathroom and get back together. It's clear they have nothing to talk about so I wonder how long this is going to go on, you know. I think they're still together. Oh, I love it.
Starting point is 00:52:49 Oh, Jay-lo Hugh? J lo, tracks down Ethan Eberry's parents? Oh, she finds him in the yearbook because she, Melissa Joan Hart, she's the bestiol and she's th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, they's still still still still still still still still still still still still still still still still still still still still still they're still still still still still still still still still still still still still still still still still still still still still still still still still still still still still still still still still still still still still still still still still still still still still still still still still still still still still still still still th, th, th, th, th, th., th., th. I thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thr, thrown, thrown, thro, together, together, together, together, together, together, and thi. throoooooooooooooo, she's she goes home and throws away all of her pictures of Mike and dead flowers. She has the best side braid. Her hair is so thick. And she goes, as we talked about earlier, goes and meets him at the train station, which is like this crazy Art Deco train station. Yeah, have you ever taken a train anywhere? Yeah, I can take a train somewhere. I've done the Pittsburgh to Philly train. Oh yeah. It's nice, it takes about eight hours. That's longer than the Greyhound.
Starting point is 00:53:33 Yeah, but you can stretch the fuck out and it's dope. Yeah, maybe it's that's't know why I thought that. And then I was like, are you taking a train to Boston? That's gonna take you months to get there. I thought they were somewhere in the Northeast. Oh, did you? I wonder why I thought that? I don't know.
Starting point is 00:53:54 Huntington, maybe? Although, that's a wearing in that last scene. Because her outfit is reprehensible. She's wearing like the worst khakis you've ever seen, which I think I described Meg Ryan as right. Now I have seen worse khakis now that I think about it. 1998 was a terrible year for khakis. And like one of those angel t-t-shirts and a long cardigan. She she she she she she she she she she she just she just she just just she just just just just she just just just just just she just she just just she just she just just she just just she just just just she just just just just she just she just just just just just she just she just just just just just just just just just just just just just igan. She just looks like a bananas person.
Starting point is 00:54:25 But yeah I don't know like what they were like trying to say without outfit. Yeah. But I guess judging by Meg Ryan also wearing almost the exact same outfit it was probably just the look of the time. I guess I wasn't wearing that. You probably had some khakis. I did not own khaki colored large corderoise. Oh yeah. Yeah. Zoop. Zip. Zip. The X-o-I the the the the the the the th. I was the th. I was th. I was th. I was the th. I was the th. I was. I was. I they're. I akis. I owned khaki colored large corduroys. Oh yeah, yeah, yeah. Zoop, zzzzz. The X-Files guys get abducted, though, which was really cute. They're like, nothing exciting ever happens in this town, and then they get abducted. And that's the end of the movie. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:54:55 So that is this movie. It's a 10. We watched it. I don't think, I don't know if Rob had never seen it before or had like only seen it a long time ago. I find that impossible. I know, well it's kind of a like, I'm home alone watching this movie kind of thing. It's not something I share with others. Not like home alone, which he makes it. I love how we love with love, Robbins. He really is.
Starting point is 00:55:26 This is his month and I doubt he listens to any of these episodes. And I hope not this one because I just talked about having dirty thoughts about Peter Fatchinley. Who doesn't? So it's a 10. Yeah, it's a 10. Obviously it's a 10. I understand that there are some problematic things with Preston Myers feeling like he's owed something, but I feel like it's handled in as delicate a way as 1988 was capable of doing it. 1988, teen movie, for sure. And he's just presented as like a good dude, not like a good dude with ulterior motives, but like a genuinely good dude.
Starting point is 00:55:53 Okay. Yeah, I don't know. You tell me. I give this movie a seven? Yeah, yeah, it's totally fine. I think if I was a tha tode tode tode tode tode tode th. th. th. th. th. th. th. thi thi thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. tha. tha. tha. tha. tha. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I do want to do a quick plug for another movie. Did you see Book Smart? No but I've heard it's great. I highly recommend seeing Book Smart. Okay. It's really fun and it's dumb and I love that it's a female-based dumb, fun high school movie. Cool. And it's not like, there's no message, it's just like, fucking kids. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:56:29 And I feel like, like we talked last week about like making a feminist movie, and I feel like that's a really feminist idea of just like, hey, it's just a movie about girls in high school. Cool. Great. Yeah, it's great. It's great. Watched, the t. Dairy girls? I haven't watched Dairy Girls. I fucking love Dairy Girls. I've watched the whole series, like the whole series three times now. Oh, whoa. Because there's only five episodes or six episodes and they're like 20 minutes a pop.
Starting point is 00:56:52 Okay. Anda the tea girls. It is so fucking funny. Real quick, I want to thank listener Andy B., who recently sent us an animated gift of Katie and I in an ambulance with a werewolf on top of it. It's so fucking good. It's so, I just said Katie and email that she said, so cute. So cute. I showed it to Lucy and I said, who is that?
Starting point is 00:57:21 And she said, Mommy and Alan! And it's, I didn't realize it was animated at first and then I saw it was animated, I got giddy. It's so fucking good. Also, thank you for making my boobs look so fantastic. Because they do, did you notice that? They don't look like that in real life. They're great. I was too busy on my, like, looking at my mustache and be like, that's a, thrush. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. th. th. thi. thi. thi. th. It's got a handlebar but it kind of like does it naturally. Yeah. Yeah. It looks cool. Oh thanks. Yeah. But thank you Andy for sending us that and watch the video that's coming out next week. Yeah. It's gonna have that little animated thing in it somewhere. And then after that we'll put it on our Facebook somewhere where I don't put a gift on Instagram? Probably not. I know fucking dicks. Everyone's going, yes, you too, of course you can. Of course you can do that. Why are you such idiots? Because we're old.
Starting point is 00:58:13 So thank you Andy for sending us to that. I'm 11 years older than Peter Fratch and I'm 10 years older than that. Yeah. What are we doing next week, Katie? Next week I will be leaving the month of love and entering the this is the same movie. And I'm 10 years older than that. Yeah. What do we do next week, Katie? Next week, I will be leaving the month of Love and entering the month of Springtime Pastoral Folk. Horror. Horror movies. We're going to do a recent film, midsummer.
Starting point is 00:58:41 Yeah. You've seen it probably. And we'll talk about it next week. Yeah. In the meantime you can go on tea public and buy stuff. You can email us at World Familots at Gmail.com. You can get us on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter. Is there more? Oh, leave us a review. I know. I know. Oh, God. 275 episodes. And...
