Werewolf Ambulance: A Horror Movie Comedy Podcast - Episode 328- I Still Know What You Did Last Summer (1998)

Episode Date: April 12, 2021

In this week's episode, we're on the front porch on a lovely but windy Pittsburgh evening discussing what is perhaps the worst-named sequel in the history of film franchises- "I Still Know What You Di...d Last Summer." Special topics for your consideration include" potential title re-writes (like perhaps "I Have Not Forgotten What You Did Two Summers Ago At This Point"), a running game of "do you recognize that guy?", the best thing about this movie (Brandy obvs), a twist that NO ONE COULD HAVE SEEN COMING, and some bad advice on what to do if you're being attacked. Seriously, remember that our motto is 'being fun is better than knowing things' and as a result, we'd just recommend self-defense classes.  Did you miss "I Know What You Did Last Summer?" You can be forgiven, it's Episode 8 and god help me I defended it. You can also catch J.Lo.Hew in Episode 269- "Can't Hardly Wait" and you can see Jeffrey Combs in another early episode of ours: Episode 29- "Re-Animator." Also, we love you guys. Starting point is 00:00:00 Katie! HALANNING Day! Happy Rex Manning Day. It's the most wonderful day of the year. Is that today? How do we know it's today? April 8th is Rex Manning Day. Oh, it's...I didn't even know the date was stated in the movie.
Starting point is 00:00:23 Yeah, I believe so, yeah. Happy Rex Manor. Is that? Say no more. Mona! It's to! to! It. It. It's. It's. It's. It's. It's. It's. It's. It's. It's. It's. It's. It's. It's. It's tod- today. today. today. today. today. It's today. It's today. It's today. It I believe so, yeah. Yeah, happy Rex Manning Day. Say no more. God, I love that song. I love that music video. I love that actor. What is happening? They couldn't have a picture. Anyway, we'll have to do that movie at some point so we could talk about, I'm ridiculous. Empire Records? I guess not. No. We've done like everything around it. We're getting there. We'll get to it. I feel like this movie is adjacent.
Starting point is 00:00:52 Tell me more. Because it's got teens in it. All right. I feel like this is adjacent to, um, nothing. No, I can't think... Well, can't hardly wait, of course. What if they existed in the same universe?
Starting point is 00:01:10 It's true. Wow. Why is it? I still know what you did last summer and not, I know what you did two summers ago? It's just like, didn't anyone? I mean... What if there is no movie? No McKay-I M M M M M M M M M M M Mkyeyeyeyeye. no movie, no MacI Pfeiffer. These are all the intros I'd been sort of running through in my head that I was gonna use if you didn't have one. They're all
Starting point is 00:01:28 pretty lacklustmer. I mean I think they make the argument there is no movie. No I mean this movie? No this is not a movie. There is a Mackie Fifer. Who's doing the best he can? Oh I love him. He's great. How cute is Brandy? th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. thii. th. th. thi. thi. th. thi. th. th. th. th. th. thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. the th. the the th. the the the th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. theeeeeeee is thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. the thi. th Oh, I love him. He's great. And how cute is Brandy in this? She's adorable. And she's also a far superior actor to J. Lo Hugh. And singer. We should mention that we're still on the porch because you can hear the wind. It's so windy out today.
Starting point is 00:01:55 It is a windy day here in Pittsburgh. Sorry about you. No, Brandy is a significantly a s a s a s a s, but I think Jalo Hugh would concede that point. Well, she has a song on the soundtrack where Brandy does not. Which is crazy. Crazy. Crazy. Although I guess this was in Brandy's acting not recording artist phase, like when she was Moesha and then she came back with the boys mine.
Starting point is 00:02:18 Which wouldn't have been until like a year or two after this. I really like Brandy. It's good Brandy lore. A little Brandy Norwood for you. Brother, her sister of Ray J. Yeah, who's famous for some things I guess? Sex tape. Oh with Kim Kardashian. Yeah, that's the one. Or Paris Hilton? Kim Kardashian. He brought us the Kardashians. Oh God? What a thing to unleash on the universe. Well I guess the OJ Simpson trile brought us the Kardashians. Kar Kardash Kardash Kardash Kardash Kardash Kardash Kardash tah c card card card card card card card card card card card card card card card card card card card card card card card card card the to the the to th. th O.J. Simpson trial brought us the Kardashians. Well, Robert Kardashian seems like wasn't a terrible guy or anything. It's why he had to die. It's why he had to die. Fuck. A monster.
Starting point is 00:02:52 We're all doing our best. And then also Matthew Settle, whom I've never heard of before and we'll probably never hear of again. How far into the movie did you declare that Will was definitely the villain? Okay, so I've seen this movie upteen times as a teenager. Okay. So as soon as he said his name when he was like, it's me, Will Benson. I was like, oh God, that's right. And then later in the movie, when he goes, Will Benson, Benson, Benson, Will Benson, Benson, I remember being like, I remember like being 14 and thinking, that's not good though. It's not, it's terrible.
Starting point is 00:03:36 But it's his real name Ben Willis, Jr. I don't know. What name did he enroll in this university under? Will Benson. Taking his summer classes, because it's the 4th of July as they celebrate their semester break. I don't. It's just so bad.
Starting point is 00:03:56 It's every conceit in this movie is stupidity. Everything is dumb. Everything relies on you being like, well, that's fine. And all the characters do think, yeah, of course, of course. That is what I would do and that is what any human would do, right? So we start off in a church? Yeah, confession. Where I have the note, you walking sexy for Jesus? Because she is working that in between the Pews Walkway.
Starting point is 00:04:25 She looks phenomenal in this movie. For sure. Yeah. And also her hair looks so much better than it did in the first one who she had those Whispy bangs. But yes, she is sexy strutton up towards the crucifix. It is hot, da da. I feel like the eyes on that Jesus painting are following that ass. Yeah, but it turns out that it's the priest is Ben Willis.
Starting point is 00:04:48 Ben Willis? Who says, I know what you did last summer. And you say, oh, no. Oh, God. Please God. And then she wakes up screaming in a classroom and I was like, I don't know if this is college or high school. I'll be totally honest with you. No, it was our high school graduation was two years ago. She's a sophomore. But they'd let you know that it is college because she walks outside and four people are playing Hackey Sack and I was like, thank you. Yes, otherwise how would we be sure? She's also wearing a sweater. I was 100% sure we were going to see her boobs in this movie. Yeah, I don't know if you ever see Jalo Hughes poops.
Starting point is 00:05:29 I don't think she's a boob. Jalo boob. We got right, we got like, right up against it and then she was like, no. Yeah. Yeah, she's, yeah. I knew Freddy Prince Jr. I like Freddy Prince Jr. Sure.
Starting point is 00:05:45 How can you not? You know what he doesn't say to me? Longshore fisherman? No. I like the other people as particularly his friend who was cast as a longshore fisherman. And it's like, but also Freddie Prince Jr. With his like super clean cut face.
Starting point is 00:05:58 You get rugged-Hawks hacking out with Freddy Prince Jr. Who is John Hawks? He is a character actor that's in a ton of things. He was in Deadwood, which I'm sure you haven't seen. No. Winter's Bone? You know I haven't. What is a... Oh God, it's like this indie movie, it's like you, me and all our friends or something along that that's not something I would have seen. I think I just don't see much. Okay. I did see. I still know what you do that summer. Multiple times. Oh yeah.
Starting point is 00:06:29 Sorry, can't watch Deadwood. Watch and I still know what you did last over again. To be fair, Deadwood did not yet exist. He's great. He's fine. He's fine. He's fine actor. I'm sorry, I was back to Freddie Pins Jr. Because I was thinking about how he said to her that he couldn't stay there and have fun because he had to work. And I was like, but then why should she visit you? Why did you come back to this town
Starting point is 00:06:52 that we can both admit sucks? Right. Where a traumatic event that, get over it happened two summers ago, Or last summer, sorry. Yeah, last summer. To question one. Yeah. Why has Ben Willis not focused on killing Ray? He is just as culpable for this incident. Why? Ray lived through the first one.
Starting point is 00:07:13 Why is he not being stocked by the killer? It's got a, um, uh, yeah. Yeah. Ah. I mean, there's like an incident at the kill with the killer at taker killer. I mean, there's like an incident at the kill with the killer at the beginning, but it seems like it's just to keep him from rescuing J.Loh Hugh. I fucking despise this killer because of the amount of effort that he puts into this shit.
Starting point is 00:07:34 Just kill them. Just fucking murder them. And how many people he kills that are just totally peripheral to this? Like, what did the friend need? The friend who was was the friend, the friend, he was was was, he was, he was, he was, he was, he th, he th, he th, he th, he was, he was, he was, he was, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, th. th. th. th. th. thi. thi. to. to. to. to. to. to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to the. thethe only cool person in the movie. Oh, wait a minute, you're saying Jack Black with Dreadlocks isn't cool? Actually, yeah, I'll take that back. Jack Black showing up was a real highlight for me, because I really do enjoy Jack Black. Apparently uncredited in this movie.
Starting point is 00:07:58 Really? That's what Wikipedia claims. He's got a lot of lines. Yeah, I think he he talks more than Macaipher in this film. Yeah, I think you might be right. Yeah. A smaller variety of lines, but... Sure. Sure. Most of them are do you want to buy weed for me? Yeah. And I do. I do want to buy weed from Jack Black. I just feel like any time he shows up, you're like, well this will be a little th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi. Yeah thi. Yeah, thi. Yeah, thi. Yeah, thi. Yeah, thi thi thi thi. Yeah, thi. Yeah, thi thi not laughing? Jack Black. Ever put him in a serious role? Uh-uh. So she's freaking out because it's the anniversary of her having murdered someone and then that person not being murdered and coming back and murdering her friends. Right. Do I have that right? She has, yeah, she has a framed photo of her best friend moments before her murder on her nightstand
Starting point is 00:08:47 and I thought maybe this is why you're not like really getting over that and a lack of therapy. Her dramatic mood swings in this are phenomenal. She, I mean she's clearly having a tough time and she clearly needs like therapy, sure. And no one suggests it. Brandy is her friend who, for the first jump scare of the movie, J. Lohue goes to bed Uncle Frank style in a pair of jeans. Yeah. And is woken up by Brandy sneaking into a closet to steal clothes from her because they're roommates.
Starting point is 00:09:29 Borrow. Borrow, sorry. All right. She thought she was out of town. She almost stabbed Brandy. It took so long to get to her closet. She really did. Where was she?
Starting point is 00:09:40 I don't understand any of it. I love to to to listen to listen to listen to listen tha tha tha. tha. tha. tha. tha. tha. tha. tha. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. to to to to to to told thi. thi. too. too. too. too. too. too. too. too. too. too. too. too. too. too. too. too. th. She's, th. She's, th. She's, tho. She. She. She. She. She. She. She. She. She. She. She. She. She. She. She. She. She. She. She. She's, the. She's the. She's the. She's too. She's too. She's too. She's too. She's too. She's too. She's too. She's toooooooooooooooo. She's of it. I'll tell you what, I love Brandy's husky voice. I would listen to her talk all day. And when she says you're doing it to you, you're like, okay, yeah. And then she just says, what did I say? Which is a thing I say to my toddler and it does not work on her. You need to, uh, Jay Love You in your life. I do. I do I need I I need I need I need I need I need I need I need I need I need I need I need I need I need I need I need I need a I need a I need a I need a follower. So then we meet Mackay Fifer at the club. That's right, they go to the club where everyone's grind dancing to orgy. Yes, it's the Blue Monday cover. It's so funny. Like why would Brandy work at this club? She's way too cool for that. When he's fucking grinding against her and she's going, go tie, go tie, go tie.
Starting point is 00:10:28 What the fuck? I'm a tie-fiper. I'm glad that Brandy seemed to know what movie she was in. Yeah, absolutely. I feel like Brandy was being very self-aware. Yeah. So it's the next, so I don't know. Jay Lohue sees the hooded figure in the club. And never does she investigate. She, oh, like, at some point it would stop being scary, right? Yeah, for sure.
Starting point is 00:10:55 It's like owning a snake. I kept thinking, you know, a pair of glasses would probably help the situation. She's just squinting and everything. Is that him? It's hard to tell if she's near-s ssi ssi ssi ssi ssi that that that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's thia. that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's like, that's that's that's that's that's that's that's. that's that's that's that's that's that's she's nearsighted or just thinks that that's how people look at things. God bless her she's a terrible actor. Luckily she's outshone in terrible actorness by a person that we've had in another film that's in this movie. Who's that? That would be one Jennifer Esposito. Yes, Selena from Dracula 2000! I was like, oh, this lady is not good.
Starting point is 00:11:29 And then I was like, I know this not good. Yeah. She's not good. I feel like she was better in this than she was in Dracula 2000. Sure. Yeah. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Because she just had to be a snarky dick. Oh, she absolutely is. I don't. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. tha. tha. tha. tha. tha. tha. tha. tha. tha. thi. thi. thi. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. the. the. the. the. the. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. toea. toea. to. thea. thea. thea. the. the. the. the understand that as the bartender who's working for tips, but okay.
Starting point is 00:11:46 Sure, sure, just being rude from the jump to everyone. I understand it's your last day. Also, if it's the last day of the season, why is there literally no one else there? We can't talk about where they are and how they got there? Sure, sure. They're in the Bahamas because they won't therip there. The radio station called them, hot 97 or something. B94. I'm going to go with B94.
Starting point is 00:12:10 B94 called them and said, you have to answer one trivia question and you win a trip to the Bahamas. What is the capital of Brazil? Mm-hmm. Did you know the answer to this one? I was like, yeah, Sao Paulo. It's not. This scam is so fucking funny to me to get them to the Bahamas. So the answer, J.Lohue grabs a bag of coffee. It's mostly from Columbia, but okay. And on the back reads where the coffee is from, Rio de Janeiro.
Starting point is 00:12:44 Must be the capital. where the coffee is from, Rio de Janeiro. Must be the capital. It's a place in Brazil. And they're like, yes, you have one. Yeah. Screaming commences. Yes, they are so fucking psyched. Just shrieking at each other.
Starting point is 00:12:59 Yeah, well that's girls. I don't know you to shriek. I don't know you to shriek. If I want a trip to the Bahamas, if the raid, if B-94 called me, I said I want a trip to the Bahamas, I might shriek. Okay. But it would be like this, oh, it'd be like a very metal shriek. If DVE calls, it was like, who followed Bonskot is the singer of ACDC. And I was like mmm Neal Diamond. You won that's right. I'm going to the Bahamas. Oh!
Starting point is 00:13:36 Anyway. So they get this drift to the Bahamas and Jennifer Love Hewitt is like, hey, let me call Ray because I should invite him. And he's like, no, I want it. I don't want to go. Why is he being a petulant child? Here's an opportunity to go on a trip with your lady. Either you can make up with her in the Bahamas. You're holding an engagement ring.
Starting point is 00:14:07 Or you're holding an engagement ring on a fishing boat, which is absurd. In your fucking shirt pocket, you dildo. It's a full carrot. That's like worth no less than three grand. And you're gonna drop it in fucking some salmon's mouth. Trying to show it to Dave. Who does make the funny joke, like I'm trying to put the ring on. Yeah. I think Dave is the only cool character in the movie.
Starting point is 00:14:37 For sure. Yeah. Um, but, or you can go there, break up and go fucking the beach. You're in the fucking Bahamas. Just go. Yes, you're going to have to sit next to her on the plane on the way home, but like, it's not that pong. So, as everyone at this point has guessed, this is a fucking setup. Thus, a thuiii.
Starting point is 00:14:58 thu. surprise. No, no. But knowing this going like when they win you're like oh this is a fucking setup because well A it's Brazilia and B. Or Sao Paulo depending on who you ask. I'd even seen the god damn movie and then when the guy was said Brazilia I remembered that and then I thought, you really are stupid. I can't wait to, oh my god. So, but you're like, oh my god, so this is a setup. So he bought four plane tickets, booked them into rooms. Two honeymoon sweets, that cannot be cheap even in the offseason.
Starting point is 00:15:40 And you know his dad hasn't been working, he's been supposed to be dead. What is he, what has he been doing? He's been paying to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to the thoge. Oh thoge. Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh thoomeoliolioliolioliolioliolioli. Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, they. Oh, they. Oh, they. Oh, they. Oh, they. Oh, they. Oh, they. Oh, they. Oh, the they. Oh, the the the the they. Oh, they. Oh, they. Oh, thi. Oh, toe. Oh, toe. Oh, toe. Oh, toe. Oh, too. Oh, toe. Oh, toe. Oh, toe. Oh, toe. Oh, toe. Oh, th he's been supposed to be dead. What does he have, what has he been doing? He's been paying for college courses too. How? Oh, I just realized that I thought that Ben Willis was setting this up, not Will Benson was setting it up. But of course it was Will Benson that was sitting it. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. They were working in Cahoots. So there had to be to be to be to be to be to be to be to be to be to be to be to be the the time the time the time the time their their thi to be a time where father and son got together and father's like, what are we going to do to these kids?
Starting point is 00:16:06 I don't know, dad. I'm just glad you're not dead. I'm not. Also, I murdered some of your peers. Also, here's the problem with this story too, is that we're told that they came from a small town. Will is the same age as her. This guy must have lived in their town or in a nearby town. How did she not know Will? How did Ray not know Will? Do you know what I'm saying? Yeah. Yeah, yeah, yeah. You can't just say that. Look, Jay-laphew had three friends. That's true. That was it. That's it. She never met anybody else. No. It was a sad time in high school for her. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th. Do the the the the to to to to to to to to the to the the the to the the the the the the the the. the. She came from another school where this really annoying kid wrote her this letter telling her how much he loved her. Beautiful. Hugh Romeo and Juliet by Dyer Straits. That's in Empire Records.
Starting point is 00:16:59 I don't see no hose kidding. What are we doing with this podcast? Seriously? It's just talking about Can't Hardly Wait every week after having devoted a full episode to it. The kids love it. The kids do. At least kids my age, who are nearly 40. Should we get Justin to make us a, oh, Worwolf ambulance, can't hardly wait t-shier? I think he would do it too, and that would be really nice. Oh, could it be like a replacements mashup?
Starting point is 00:17:29 Yes. We make a suit for that. Fuck him, who cares? Take that. Paul Westerberg. Anyway. So, so they go to the Bahamas. Ray doesn't go. Will gets invited along though.
Starting point is 00:17:49 Will, even if he were not the bad guy, he would be a fucking creep. Like he's a bad guy even if he's not the bad guy. And your friend forcing you into this gross situation with a dude? And he's like into it. Oh yeah, yeah. Hi, I realize this is gross and weird for you. You want to stay on the honeymoon sweet? Like it's just... He says things like when there's a will, there's a way. Or maybe Brandy says that. Yeah, yeah,
Starting point is 00:18:16 she does. Okay, well that's better. What if that was his tagline? If your name was a will, wouldn't it be yours? Only if I was the guy who's holding wheat. See, that's good. I was thinking that I would get super buff and then move furniture around and be like, when there's a will, there's a will. I'd really love to get high right now. Where there's a will, there's a way. I like it.
Starting point is 00:18:40 We are ill-named. We are ill-named. We forgot to mention John Hawks and Freddie Prince Jr. singing White Snake for no fucking reason. Dude's love to sing in cars together, right? Oh, all the time. Just like, phoo-poo-like, faces and hands and yeah! I mean, that song is a jam, and you're gonna want to sing along too when you hear it. I disagree. What? I do not find th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th tho tho tho tho tho tho tho tho tho tho tho tho- thuuu to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to when you hear it. I disagree. What? I do not find that song to be a banger. It slaps. So they get taken on a boat from the aeroplane. We never see the transition so I assume the boat was just docked where the airplane landed. Oh, I assume that was a boat plane. Is that what are they called? A pontoon boat? pontoon boat? No, they don't fly? A pontoon plane?
Starting point is 00:19:27 Yes. Why don't we know anything? It's being fun's better. You're right? Yeah. I was glasses but did you notice or recognize the gentleman driving the boat? I did not? It's red from roadhouse? That is not a thing I would know. thank. thou? th. tho? tho' thane. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. thane. thane. thane. thane. thane. thane. thane. thane. thane. the thane. the the the the the the ppane plpane plane, the pane plane. I did not. It's red from Roadhouse. That is not a thing I would know. Hold on. Hold on. Hold a phone. You don't recognize the guy who ran the auto parts store that Dalton had a running tab at so he could buy new tires and windshields. The guy is telling him to puke away from the boat? Yes. At first I thought it was the guy who played Bobby on Supernatural. Oh, I do remember that guy too.
Starting point is 00:20:15 Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. But no, it's red from Roadhouse. They all just look the same to you, huh? Yeah, yeah, yeah. All grizzled old white dudes look the same. They actually sort of do, don't they? Sometimes I think I'm Reb from Roadhouse when I look in the mirror. Wow! So yes, they meet the porter Estes. They meet Titus, who is just hanging out, I guess.
Starting point is 00:20:40 Is he a pool employee? Yeah, he's the pool boy. Yeah, yeah. And they meet the like world's worst, not a mater D. What's that person called? Concierge. Yeah, uh, who describes the, describes them as a marginally trained offseason staff of five,
Starting point is 00:20:58 which I thought was really funny. Do you recognize that, gentlemen? This movie is just a game of do you recognize? I don't so and I keep saying no No, no, so tell me. That's Jeffrey Combs of Reanimator fame. Oh, yes, he plays Herbert Weston Reanimator. Yeah. One of Katie's least favorite films that we've done. Really hated that movie. Yeah, yeah, yeah. It's not even good before it gets bad. That's all. We should do the frightners at some point, which he is also in. Is Michael J. Fox on that?
Starting point is 00:21:29 Yeah, I'll see that. Yeah, yeah. So he lets them know that it's storm season. That's gonna start at about five o'clock. Yeah, he's like, clouds roll in a literal clock. There's also like a big scary dog under there, which I don't think ever comes back. No, mm-mm. Why?
Starting point is 00:21:49 Nope, nope, nope, mm-mm. They haven't even should like kill the, if you're gonna have a dog that doesn't matter, you have to kill it, right? And even if you have a dog in a horror movie, it must Yeah. Not just the one time. It never shows up again. Also, why does Jeffrey Gomes and this you would not have noticed? He's wearing false teeth. He's wearing like fake bucked teeth. Really? It's such a weird move. He's also being like weirdly racist towards
Starting point is 00:22:15 MacI Pfeiffer, but not towards Brandy, just towards Mek to me. Yeah, yeah, yeah, it's super weird. But 1998, it's of an era. Oh, sure. It was okay back then, or whatever. Fuck. Just expected. Yeah. So, why do I have... Oh, that's right. Because we saw that John Hawks was murdered by the Hook-hand man.
Starting point is 00:22:41 Yeah, and then the Hookhan man stole the truck was just like my truck now which I really liked. And Fridey Prince Jr. rolls down a hill and ends up at a hospital and it's like when now? Who? And for what injuries? You just you're just children roll down hills. You're a longshore fisherman. Oh man and he runs away from the hospital because of course he does. Yeah they're like, doctor doctor it's flatlining. His bed is empty and he's the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the th the th th is th is th is th is th is th th is th is th th th. And he th. Yeah, they're like, doctor, it's flatlining. His bed is empty and you're like, go fuck yourself. There's got to be a different sound that it makes when you unhook it. Yeah, otherwise people would roll over and it pop off their finger all the time, right? Oh God, they're dead. No, no, they're just sleeping. Just, just nodded off off off off off off off off off off off off off off off off off off off off off off off off off off off off off off off off off off. I off. I that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that's that's that's that's that's that's that's, that's, that's, that's, that's, that's, that's, that's, that's, that's, that, that, that, that, th. that, th. th. th. they. they. they. they. they. they. they. they. they. they. they. they. the they. the the the they. the the the th. the th. th. the thi. they. they. they. they. they. they. th. th. th. thi. th. th. th. th. th no they're just sleeping. Just nodded off. I have a note that says had a hook on his hand and was driving a BMW? Don't know what
Starting point is 00:23:32 that means. Me neither but I like it. Can you refresh my memory why does that man have a hook for a hand? Fishing? Okay, okay. He was a fisherman. Did he have the hook prior to them killing him? No, I think it's his weapon of choice because he was a murdered fisherman. Okay. I think he's just really involved in being a fisherman because he's always wearing that fishing jacket. Fishing jacket? Raincoat?
Starting point is 00:23:57 What would outdoors Katie wear? What would the Gordon's Fisherman of Murder put on? Yeah, totally. He is basically the Gordon's Fisherman of Murder. I wish he killed and then left a fish stick on everybody. I like fish sticks. Who doesn't? Yeah. You don't eat them? Yeah, but there's vegetarian fish sticks now and they're goddam delicious.
Starting point is 00:24:19 It's not the same. It's pretty narly, I feel the same. It has to be gnarly, I feel, to be a fish stick. No, they're gnarly, but they're greasy. Oh, that's good. Are they funky? They smell bad? Not especially, but they're greasy and they've got that weird white fleshy stuff inside of them. Nice. Which is probably just potato. Yeah, presumably. Which is why it doesn't smell funky. And then you can't th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, thus, are thus, are thus, are thus, are thus, are th, are thu, are they're they're they're they're they're they're they're they're they're they're they're they're, are, are, are, are, are, are, are, are, are, are, are, are, are they, are they, are they, are they, are they, are they they they they they they they they they they're they're they're they're they're they're they're they're they're they're they're they're they're thu. Are thu. Are thu. Are thu. Are thu. thu' thu' thu' they're funcuncuncuncuncuncuncuncuncunc. Are they're funky. Manase is so good. Welcome to our mayonnaise guest. I always got to sing the praises of clarified butter. Oh, that's so classy of you and I'm just like fucking give me a toba halbans. I'm sorry. Shit, you dip things in at red lobster does not equal glass. I like red lobster. Who doesn't?
Starting point is 00:25:02 Give you a cheddar bay biscuit any day in a fucking week. You know how many shrimp I can eat a fucking lot? Yeah, there's no, they're like, it's a healthy fat. I went with my cousin Joe and he ate like 178 shrimp. It was stunning. He was literally tallying them on a little piece of greasy paper. Wait, you yourself ate a hundred and seven? No, Joe did. Okay. I, I, like 50 like a regular person. He's probably still exuding shrimp. They were like vacuuming. He was like endless. Y'all said endless. That's how Joe talks. It's so weird. It's because he had shrimp packed inside of him up to his larynx.
Starting point is 00:25:35 Oh, uh, he just coughed in his hrip. It's a trip. It's he had shrimp packed inside of him up to his larynx. He just coughs in his hand and a shrimp? What's good is it? Joe doesn't listen to this podcast, but a lot of other members of our family do, so they're laughing at him right now, too. Anyway, someone had a hook on their hand and was driving a BMW. I think maybe Jelow Hugh spots this at one point on their hand and was driving a BMW. I think maybe J.Loh Hugh spots this at one point on the island because early on she sees something that scares her. Sure. Because the guys are in the bar
Starting point is 00:26:10 and she's already like scared about something. Right, right. Right. Yeah, well that there's constant and thudding. Yeah, yeah. Everything is thudding and Jlove he was like, a thud. A thud. Yeah, yeah, yeah. A thi. thi. thi. thu, I I I's. thu, I's. thu, I's. thu, I's. thi. thi. thi. thi. Because, I's, I's, thi's, thi's, the the the the the the guys. Because th's thu, the the thu, the the the the th, the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the thu, thu, thu, thu, thu, thu, thu, thi. thu, thu. thu-s. thu-s thuauauauauauauauauauauauauauaua'a'a' ss sa. thua. thu. tha. tha. thud, a thud. Yeah, because she fucking needs therapy. Or just start smoking weed, you gotta do something. I mean, she's been through some shit. Yeah, weed'll fix it, right? There's no- I mean, it's worked for me thus far, but I haven't killed a man and then had him not actually be dead and then had him kill my two friends. That has not happened to diverge again, but what this movie is based on is that we're supposed to feel bad for a person who murdered someone and tried to hide their body.
Starting point is 00:26:48 What this movie presupposes is that what they did make some okay, let alone heroes. We were just sad that we killed somebody. That whole thing, the whole thing is just like such a bad premise. Oh yeah, it's a terrible premise. Like, why, I feel like it'd be a much better premise if they hadn't dumped his body in the water? Like, why is that written into the first movie? You know what I mean? Well, it's based on a book, Katie, so. Oh, that's right. It's Lois Lowery, what's the difference? I don't know? Lois Lois Lowe lowest Duncan, Lois Lowe, Lois, Lois, Lois, I'm I'm I'm I'm I'm I'm I'm th. th. th. th. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. th. tho, th. tho, tho, thi. thoom? tho, tho, thoom? thoom? thoom. thoom. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thoooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo Lowry, what's the difference? I don't know.
Starting point is 00:27:25 Lois Duncan I'm gonna go with. Could be Lowry. Could be Sao Paulo. I tell you what, I love a dark and stormy. Sure, oh yeah, yeah. Try to dark and stormy right now. Delightful. Yeah. I'll make dark and stormy appropriate then. Yeah. That's like our thing though isn't it? Doing things that are appropriate? I know horror movies.
Starting point is 00:27:50 We could do like Empire Records? The Believers? It's a Haitian zombie movie? Oh boy that'll get the downloads. There's too many goddam podcasts. Fuck all of you other podcasts. Just kidding, you guys are great. Some of you. Eh. So, uh, they're at the resort. Mekai Fifer just wants to fuck.
Starting point is 00:28:19 All he came here to do is fuck. Dude, go in the bathroom, rub two out, you're gonna need a second one because you're really wound up. And then be tolerable to be around. Yeah, you are, he is being intolerable. But I guess if Brandy's your girlfriend, you probably just wanna fuck all the time.
Starting point is 00:28:35 Sure, sure, but you could lean and go, hey, I'd really like to fuck not. to to to to to to fuck, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, I, I, I, I'd to, I'd to, I'd to, I'd to, I'd to, I'd to, I'd to, I'd to, I'd to, I'd to, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I'd the, I'd the th. th. th. th. th. th. tho, tho, th. tho. to to tho. to to tho. to to to to tho. to to to, to, to, to, Why can't we just fuck? The dress Jalo he was wearing is terrible. Refresh me? It's like a cornflower blue with white flowers. Yeah, yeah. But cut to the like, to the tits and waist, like, it's the sexiest body con dress you've ever seen, but it's printed like a church lady. This is her first night on the island look. You know church lady. This is her first night on the island look. You know she packed this as her first night on the island look. What's that shit called? Cottage core? Is that what she's doing? Cottage core?
Starting point is 00:29:12 That's like, Laura Ashley core. Everybody knows that one, right to be. Yeah. I assume cottage core is no longer a thing. It has already moved on. Oh yeah, yeah, yeah. Oh, God, that blew right by me. Yeah. I believe it was a Tumblr phenomenon, if I'm not mistaken. Tumblr is well past my time. Sure. Yeah, and it's also well past its own time at this point.
Starting point is 00:29:36 Is it still exist? Yeah, but they were like you can't. Yeah, never went back to live journal. I was going to say I'm going to take down your neighbor's wind chime. That is your fucking wind chime, sir. It was a gift from a friend. Well, we've got to take it down when we record here in the studio. Are you going to take down the squeaky witch? I was actually going to think about asking if I could take down the squea taqa. I to to to th. I to th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi. That's thii thiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii thi thi thi thi thi they're in the bar and you decide to do karaoke. Yeah, yeah, yeah, after they meet Nancy the terrible bartender. Yes, right, Jennifer Esposito. Oh my god. I really do think she was worse in Dracula 2000.
Starting point is 00:30:15 Sure, but she got a second job. Yeah, yeah, I don't think she got a third. I'll guess this would have been before that. Yeah, yeah, yeah, wow. Squeak, squeak. It gives the ambience for the kids. So Brandy queues up, I Will Survive. Sure. The classic breakup song for Jailohue. I didn't think they'd broken up, but I guess they'd broken up. She seems to think so, and Brandy's just like, just fuck this man, fuck him, then
Starting point is 00:30:46 fuck this guy? Which is weird because it seems like she respects Ray. Sure. Yeah, sure. Yeah, yeah, yeah, but fuck this guy. Yeah. Not like fuck that guy, but like fuck this guy. Why don't you come over here and fuck this poor man Scott Speedman, which is already a poor man, Scott Speedman's is already a poor man's something else. I brought you a poor man's got speedman's to fuck. Enjoy. Speedman? Benson? Did you want gum or a poor man's father?
Starting point is 00:31:17 Scott Speedman. Genuine. So she's singing, she's singing, she's singing. Oh yeah, yeah. She's lovely So she's singing. She's singing. Oh yeah, yeah. She's lovely. It's fine. She's a better singer than the most people.
Starting point is 00:31:29 Sure, sure. She had a singing career from what I just learned while I'm researching her waiting for you. I was like, yeah, I was like, yeah. She has a song, told to be a song, Yeah, she was like, oh, she's a song, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, she's, oh, she, she's a th. She's a song, she's a song, she's, she's, she's, she's, she's, she's, she's, she's, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, th. She, th. She, she, she. She, she's, she's, she's a. th. She's a th. She's a th. She's a th. She's a th. She's a th. She's a th. She's. She's. She's a Yeah, no. Non-descript. She has had an album or something called Let's Go Bang. You're cool, Jay Lohue. I want to be friends with her. So on the screen, the karaoke lyric screen, the words pop up, I still know what you did last summer.
Starting point is 00:31:59 Which is akin to Lindsay Lohan, to look. to to to to to to to to the movie the movie to the movie the movie to the movie to look at the camera and saying, I know who killed me. I wanted I wanted more examples of how Will could pull this shit off. Like him to be like, oh I've got an interest in hacking karaoke machines. Yeah, Chris, I had, as soon as I realized at the beginning that he was the killer, I forgot that his dad was actually still alive and helping him. So there was a lot of this movie where I was like, but how did he kill that person? So presumably his dad hacked the karaoke machine while they were while he was distracting Nancy. Yeah. Yeah. What? How? Sorry. How did his dad fly down to the Bahamas with that hook?
Starting point is 00:32:45 How did his dad get to the island unnoticed? He was a small boat. Do you think he'd just been there for days? And if so, was he living it up? Because the weather seemed nice to that point. Was he tanning? Maybe he had befriended Jeffrey Combs. That's why he was being addicted to them, because he knew they were going to die.
Starting point is 00:33:10 Because Ben had been drinking the whole time, I'm like, I'm going to kill these four teens when they show up. Whatever, I'm going to kill them when they show up. When these teens show up, I'm going to murder all of you and then, is then, is th you, is th you, is then, is then, is thi, is thi, is thi, is thi, is thi, is thi, is thi, is thi, is thi, is thi, is thi, is thi, is thi, is thi, is thi, is thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, because thi, because thi, because thi, because they they they they they they they they they they thi, because thi, because thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. theeeeeeeeean, theeeeean, theean, thi theeeeea. thi thi thi, because the guy was like, I don't fucking care. Please, just end my misery. Just don't take my false teeth. And please, right, I still know it my blood behind me when you do it. And then move me around the island multiple times. And how? The stupid movie. So she goes up to the room. And she's going to be, you know, she's like, takes a shower, which I feel like is the last the last. And the last. And, the last. And, the last. the last. the last. the last. the last. the the they. they. they. they. to be. to be. to be. to be. to be. to be. to be. to be. to be. to be. to be. to be. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. And, to. And, to. And, to. And, to. And, to. And, to. And, to. And, to. And, to be. And, to be. And, to be. And, to be. And, to be. And, to be. And, the. And, the the the the the the the the the the toe. And, the the the toe. the toe. the too. toe. toe. toe. toe. And, to. And, to. And, to. And, to. And, to. And, to. And, the room and she's gonna be, you know, she's like takes a shower, which I feel like is the last thing you do if you're terrified someone's gonna kill you. She's constantly being left alone. She's constantly running away.
Starting point is 00:33:51 Don't be a dip shit. Even if they don't believe you, stick around. Honey, you need to go into this tanning bed that going to leave you in this room by yourself. Such a bad idea. On so many levels. So Will comes in and jumpscares her from behind. Sure. Drops a bottle of champagne and he's like I scared you. I crossed the line and it's like you've been a line crosser since you got here. He snuck in. Well no I guess they were sharing her. I was gonna see he snuck into a room. I left a note that just said, surprise. Yeah, and also, prior to that,
Starting point is 00:34:29 he wasn't he kind of like, oh, I'll sleep on the couch. Like, we're not, this isn't anything romantic. And then he's like, yeah, yeah, yeah, he's a total grosso. Yeah, and he also is a killer. Well, yeah, yeah, but he's also a grosso. He says to her, I really want you, or he says to her, I really like you, I want you to have a nice time, I want you to be happy, and she just looks at him with the most vacant look on her face.
Starting point is 00:34:57 It's stunning. It's the most she could she could's like I don't speak English. Hold on! Wind shimes are for assholes and if you have wind chimes I don't like it. Yeah it's a tuneless xylophone outside the window. Shut up, witch you're getting in trouble. I'm not making fun of it. It's just real squeaky. She's a squeaky witch. We're a recording. We're a professional. She's just filling in until the cicada show up.
Starting point is 00:35:35 That's fair. I mean, I assume once we're both vaccinated, we can move back inside the house. That's fine. April 25th, I'm good. I can't wait. Yeah. So, um. Although I do a lot more farting out here than I do in the attic and it's really nice to be able to do that. Yeah, but you do some farting at the attic. Yeah, I got to keep it warm. You've definitely locked eye contact and farted with you in the room. It happens. It happens to the best of us. No, it's not even that. I refuse to be ashamed of it. Why would you be?
Starting point is 00:36:05 It's perfectly natural. I just, you gotta own it. Yeah. Burr. So yeah, she takes a bath, gets napped by dickhead with a surprise note. I'm surprised his wiener wasn't out of his pants. Like, he would picket the note and unfold it and somehow his wiener would be inside. Surprise! Like it's a pizza box?
Starting point is 00:36:27 Okay, throw a hole. Like a tiny glory hole in a piece of paper. The weenter would be holding a rose. It's very complicated. It's just a damn right into your pee-hole. Well, that's dangerous. Oh, he deserves a dick infection. Everyone in this movie deserves a dick infection except for Brandy.
Starting point is 00:36:48 Speaking of Brandy, she's part of the one of two check off something in this movie. Okay. Earlier in the movie we see that she's drying her sneakers in their dryer at their apartment and she opens the door and the sneakers shootout into her hand. And her response the response the response response response response response response response response response response the response response their response is her response is her response is her response is their response is their response is a the door and the sneakers chewed out into her hand and her response is I love it when that happens. I can only imagine that in actuality there is someone standing behind the dryer who's threw the shoes at her. Poor Brandy. I wonder how many takes a joke for her to snag both of them so smoothly. One. One. One done. She's very athletic. And so, but that dryer smoothly. One. You think so? One. One. One. I'm done. She's very athletic. And so, but that trier thing comes back up. It does. And when they first get to the island,
Starting point is 00:37:31 Jeffrey Combs is like, if she gets real bad, there's a storm solo. We can all, we can all go there, storm shelter. And it's like, oh yeah, that's not going to come up. That's not going to. That's. That's. That's. That's. That's. That's. That's. That's. That's. That's. the the the the their. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. thr. thrue. th. th. th. th. th. that's that's that's that's that's that's that's th. But th. But th. T. T. T. T. T. T. T. T. T. T. T. T. T. T. T. T. T. T. T. T. T. T. T. T. T. T. T. T. T. T. T. T. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. the. thr. thri. thr. thrie. thrue. thrie. thriore. thriore. thriore. thriore. thri. they when? Yeah, because they find all the bodies in there after you move them for the second time. Why, just leave them be! The shock value is gone. Also, I have a question. Were we not led to believe when they arrived at the island that the housekeeping woman was deaf? Just rude, I think was the thing. Okay. All right. This movie hates the the the the the the movie the movie the movie the movie the movie the movie the movie the movie the movie the movie the movie the movie, was the thing. Okay, all right. This movie hates the working class. It sure does. So, she's not, we see her, they're calling out to her, she's not even acknowledging them. But she's like moving kind of slowly,
Starting point is 00:38:17 and the implications is that she's old and I thought hard of hearing. Sure, sure. Perhaps. Yes. And then she's just knocking on doors, the house, tha, tha, tha, tha, tha, tha, tha, tha, tha, tha, tha, tha, tha, tha, tha, tha, tha, thi, tho, thi, tho, tho, tho, thi, thi, thi, tho, tho, tho, tho, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th, th. thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi. thi. thi. thi. thiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii. thi. thi. thi. thi. th perhaps. Perhaps. Yes. And then she's just knocking on doors like housekeeping. Anyone in housekeeping? And it's like, well, you can't hear the mansor because you're deaf, right? I'll assume no one's at anything. Yeah, just kick and open the door. Her housekeeping scene is very confusing to me. Because the scene that precedes it is in broad, is it's at night. Yeah, And then we immediately see her doing the housekeeping scene. I'm like, is this, are you nocturnal housekeeper? Is this something I've never heard of?
Starting point is 00:38:50 Is this a Bahamas thing? Did you, that is not what I thought you were going to say is confusing. Okay. What I thought you were going to say isto open the second door, gets blood on her hands, goes to pull the sheets back out of the laundry bin to wipe her hands covered in blood. You're dripping blood. How, you just, but you just pick them up, but they were.
Starting point is 00:39:15 Also blind? She's, that's not, that's not, that's not, it's, she shouldn't be left to wander, I guess, is what I'm saying. It's, it's, the funny thing is, it's not even the stupidest thing that happens in this movie. Oh no, it's like fly over stupid, it's just in one stupid ear and out the other. The scene where your boys are walking around the resort while the rain is pouring down, and they keep walking on the outside of them. I'm like, what is the the the the they. Why th. Why th. Why th. Why th. Why th. Why th. Why th. Why th. Why th. Why th. Why thi?? thi. thi. thi. thi-why thi-I thi-I's thi-I's thi-n. thi-nigh-nigh. thi-I's thiolk, thiolk, thiolk, thi-n. It's thi-n. It's thi-n. It's not the-s-s-s-s'-s'-s'ea-s'ea-suuu thooooo theanan the outside of awnings rather than underneath of them. I'm like, what is going on right now? Why are you doing this?
Starting point is 00:39:48 Why are you doing this? I hate you. Brandy finds the cleaning lady stuck in the dryer. Brandy finds the cleaning lady stuck in the dryer. This is while Jailohue is locked in a tanning bed with zip tie, which is which the the the the the th, the th, the th, th, the the th and the the th and th and the th and th and the th and the th and th and th and thin, thin, thin, thate, ththae, thttaui, thin, thate, thate, thi, thi, thi, why thi, why thi, why th, why th, why th, why th, why th, why th, why th, why th, why th, why, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, the th, the the th, th..... And, the thin, their thin, thin, thin, thin, thin, thin, thin, thin, thin, thin, thin, thin, thin, thin, thin, thin, thin, th tie, which is actually a very, very frightening mechanic. I think it's pretty good. Also, when they were like put her in the tanning bed, you're like, so you're going to burn her with the tannin bed? That's what's going to happen? Okay, okay. Come on, movie. tanning beds. Uh, the ta. Nigh. I was. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. thi. the. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. they were. they they they were. they they they they they were. they they they were. they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they're. they're. they're. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. they're like was terrible. Because they don't get much sun. See? They weren't ready for it. And then I was miserable. Also, question. J. Loh Hugh gets in that tainic bit. She's wearing like a very beautiful bathing suit. Sure. Plastic, maybe, I don't know, whatever that's made of, like rings. Yeah. We had just seen her slip off the clothes that she was running in a th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. the the th. the th. the their. th. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. te. te. te, rings. Yeah. We had just seen her slip off the clothes that she was running in a treadmill on. Was she running in that bathing suit under her clothes?
Starting point is 00:40:50 For sure. It's absolutely nonsense. That is absolutely nonsense. That is absolutely nonsense. When she was taking off her top and the camera, zooming. And I thought it was going to just be like a naked gun situation where they just boop or boob. That's such a good gag. I love that. Just keep zooming into your boop right into her boop.
Starting point is 00:41:11 They were just like, you like these? Check these out. Look at these guys. Tets. But not full tets. Yeah, she's working out in a very elaborate bathing suit. With sweatpants and like a t-shirt over it. It's ridiculous. Do you think when they started working out,
Starting point is 00:41:31 they were like, okay, what do you guys want to do? And Brandy was like, I don't know, pretty good to punch and stuff. Yeah, God, that made me want to get good at kickboxing. She was looking so cool. Her punching face was hilarious. So, yeah, being locked in a tannin bed is a nightmare scenario. For sure. And Brandy is being too... I think I thought Brandy was going to die at this point and felt like there was just going to be too much of the movie without Brandy.
Starting point is 00:41:57 But she lives here. Because McKay Pfeiffer busts out a window to bring her outside. That's right. That's right. Yes, she she she she she she she she she she she she she's th she's th she's th she's th she's th she's th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th the the the tho tho tho tho thi thi tho tho tho tho tho tho tho tho tho tho tho tho tho tho tho tho tho tho th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. the. thi thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thia. thea. thea. theauuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuua. tha. thea. tha. tha. her outside. That's right, that was good. Yes, she's locked in this little gym area. Yeah, he's able to do that but can't figure out that if you just twist a zip tie, they snap. Oh, I didn't know that. No, yeah, yeah, yeah. If you ever get, so if you ever get your hand, like twist tie handcuffs, yeah. Yeah. If someone puts a gun to my to to to to to to to to their their to their their to th. their th. their thin thin thin thin thin tie tie tie tie tie tie their tie tie their their their their tie their their their tie tie tie tie tie their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their tie. tie. tie. tie. tie. tie. tie. tie. tie. tie. tie. tie. tie. tie. tie. tie. tie. tie. tie. tie. tie. tie. tie. tie. tie. tie. tie. tie. tie. tie. tie. the police from my captors. Yes. I'm, trust me, I'll never be captured. If someone puts a gun to my head in a parking lot and is like getting the van, I'm gonna be like, shoot me, fucker. First of all, you probably won't. And second, it's better than getting in that van.
Starting point is 00:42:35 Just shoot me here at the sure save. You know? Never get the van. No, uh, no. Let him shoot you. Shit. We're not making that t-shirt. Justin, please. Shoot me. At least that's my understanding. Don't bother correcting me if I'm wrong about zip ties. Yeah, I don't want to know.
Starting point is 00:43:00 I do get captured because I'm like, I can break the zip ties.ouching me. I'm like son of a bitch he said it was such conviction. So the hotel guys that we see the hotel guys Head with I still know written on it. That's funny though, isn't it? So stupid. I still know is a very like nonsensical phrase. Because once you know something you don't unknow it, you know? I haven't forgotten what you did last time. Yeah. I haven't forgotten. I still know. Sir? I love that he was like workshopping his catchphrase. Yeah. Like what's he gonna do after he's killed all these people? He's not going to be able to go back to regular life. No. He's gonna have to have to have to have to have to have to have to have to have to have to have to have to have to have to have to have to have to have to have to have to have to have to have to have to have to have to have to have to know something something something something something something something something something something something something something something something something to to to to to to to to to to to to to know something something something something something something something something something something something something something something to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to their something something something something something something something something something something something. to to to to to their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their the people? He's not going to be able to go back to regular life. He's going to have to maintain Murder Man.
Starting point is 00:43:49 There is a third sequel. Is there? There's a direct video. What's it called? I really want to know what you did last summer. Thank you. You need not to tell me because I am already. Last summer? I don't know about that. Are you looking it up now? No.
Starting point is 00:44:08 Just got my phone closer to my face. So, yeah, so they're finding everybody's dead body. Like, the only person who's alive at this point is Estes. Uh-huh. Wait, in Jack Black. Oh, right. Jack Black. He's not been murdered as of yet. So, um, she gets sort of gets into a fight with Brandy, uh, because she's like, I killed a man and we covered it up. And then he came back and killed my best friends and and, and, and she sort of gets into a fight because she revealed she's a murderer.
Starting point is 00:44:41 Because she revealed she's a murderer and Brandy's just mad she didn't already know. But the question I didn't understand or have the answer to was, what story did she originally tell them? What part of the story? Who? Who knows? Because if she had just said my friends and I were menisked and two of them were murdered by a man with a hook, you'd be like, yeah, right? Right? Actually the whole thing, you'd be like, shout, right? Because it's really unbelievable. Uh, name of that movie?
Starting point is 00:45:14 Yeah. I'll always know what you did last summer. Yes, yes, yes. And I... The television series I know what you did last summer, television series is TBA. I am going to watch that. Is J. Lohue and the third one? I don't believe so. Let me, let me check. Well, who did the summer thing?
Starting point is 00:45:36 Mm-hmm. No, no, just some, Brooke Nevin? No. Uh, Tori DeVito? No. Ben Easter? No. Disappointing. So we cut to Ray Fredie Prince Jr. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:45:58 On a greyhound. He comes out of the bathroom. I was like, you pooping on a greyhound to Miami. That's nice. So I always assumed they were in like, you're pooping on a greyhound to Miami, that's nice. So I always assumed they were in like Maine or New Hampshire, way up north. I thought they were in like Oregon. Where were they?
Starting point is 00:46:16 I don't know, but he gets a greyhound to Miami in time to make it for the weekend. Carolina's maybe? Are there mountains in Georgia? Yeah, there are. As soon as I said it, I knew the answer. It's where the Appalachians are. Well, they're here too. There are a lot of places, Alan.
Starting point is 00:46:34 The Appalachians touch a number of states. From Maine to Georgia. I genuinely hate myself this evening. I couldn't be more delighted with you. Then he pops a pill and I was like, oh he's probably not pooping if he's on opioids. And he has hawked his, uh, his, his engagement ring to pay for this trip. For $300 gun, it's literally worth at least three grand. And chubby Tom Waits was like, okay that's fine. Yeah,
Starting point is 00:47:05 the fuck is happening. I don't really have a big market for this kind of thing. And give me the bullets. Yeah, whatever, who cares? Yeah. He's like, there's a waiting period and he's like, I'm not having a waiting period and the guy's like, all right. And then I thought, America. That's like, that guy was like, I'm the the th the th. I'm the the the th. And th. And th. And th. And th th. And the the the the the the the the the the th. And th. And th. And th. And th really th really th. And th. And th. And thi. And th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. the th. th. the thi. the th. the the the. the th. of Anacune a few years. Go to your business. It's fine. So back on the island, Julie J. LoHugh has buttoned exactly one button of her shirt. Sure. It was baggy ass linen pants. Which is her night two look.
Starting point is 00:47:42 Is this where she sees the, like the power goes out but she sees a globe spinning and can't not walk towards it? Yes, why is she silently leaving Brandy? Why? And she walks up to the globe and like stops it and it stops over Africa I believe? And then you hear Estes go, Brazil. Yeah. And I was like, what? Why didn't you stop the glove on Brazil? It would be so much better if you did. It's on there. It's not a far spin, honestly. Just a little jush.
Starting point is 00:48:17 Just a little, little, just right to the right. So fucking stupid. Brasilia. And of course they're like, oh he's a murderer. So fucking stupid. Brazilia. And of course they're like, oh he's the murderer because he's... They're setting up everybody to be the murder and nobody is convincingly doing it, including the murderer. But it's the most ignorant and sensitive reason is he's the murder because he's the murder because he practices a religion they're not familiar with.
Starting point is 00:48:44 Yeah, they get real convinced that he's the murderer for that reason. I was like, oh, this is giving me weird, we can avert Burney's vibes. True. Two, the deuce. Yeah, yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:48:57 So open. Madam, I've never been hunted. No. But I don't think that that's the way to do it. To be prey. What? Why? man. Is Nancy, no, Nancy's still alive. Oh, because they find her in the freezer after they're running around trying to hide and they go into the kitchen and she's hiding in the freezer
Starting point is 00:49:33 and she tries to kill Terrell. Right, right, right, right. And then he gets sucked up into like the, the killer's like hiding in the vent above the stove and comes down and murders him. It's such a risky murder too because he because, because, because, because, because, because, because, because, because, because, because, because, because he, because he, because he, because he, because he the the the the the, because he the, because, because he the, because, because, because, because, because, because, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the the they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they, after they they, after they, after the the the the the the the the the the, after the, after the, after the, the, the, their the, their their, their, their, their, their, they they they they th, the, the, the, the, the, the, they's they they their their their their their, their like hiding in the vent above the stove and comes down and murders him? It's such a risky murder too because he hooks him and pulls him up which is like gonna take a while McIfeifer is not a small man. No no no no and no. And this is just another you this is a man, an old man actually or is this Ben I don't know but regardless you're not bigger than a thi. to thi thin thin thin thin thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi their thi thi thi thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. to to to to to to to to to too. to to to too. to to too. to to to too. to t has run off and he's like, I gotta go see a man about a horse. And they're like, okay, bye.
Starting point is 00:50:07 And also, there's three people in that room. What if one of them just run at you with a knife? Always run at them. Right. If we've taught you anything, don't get in the van, We're, we do not take our own parts. Oh my God. But seriously. They have knives. Aren't they holding knives? Yeah, a ton of them, yeah.
Starting point is 00:50:29 So why did they not just stab him right there? His hands are full. He's holding McKay-Fifer. You can get him right here under the ribs. And it's not like, like bending down out of that hood, which is not, he's not, he's not, he's not, he's not, he's not, he's not, he's not, he's not, he's not, he's not, he's not, he's not, he's not, he's not in a good position. No. His Achilles are open for you to just come up and slice them. Absolutely. There's a lot going on here. They could have stood up.
Starting point is 00:50:49 But no, they just scream. This, what this movie presupposes is that Jennifer Love Hewood will never fight for her life. Because she's like, she starts to get into it towards the end of this movie where she's like, we're going, we're going, we're going, we're going, we're going, we're going, we're going, we're going, we're going, we'retime she sees them, she's like, ah! and runs away. You're not fighting, you're running. I mean, like, obviously I'd be so much tougher. So, Estes takes the surviving members to a cemetery. He's telling this someone's back story. It's Ben Willis, who used to work at the club. Oh. And murdered maybe his family or portions of them them them them them th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th the club and murdered maybe his family or portions of them.
Starting point is 00:51:28 I wrote, this is the third time I've had to watch the scene about this guy's backstory because I was having trouble focusing because I don't even know who we're talking about or why? So wait, Ben Willis killed his own family? He killed his wife, or his wife died somehow and they think he murdered her. Okay and so she's buried there plus two other kids. But not Ben. Right because he's not Will. Right right right no Will. Not Will. Why is he not dead? Because boy child I don't know. You'd have to talk to Ben. Who has a family of four other people and kills three of them.
Starting point is 00:52:01 You kill them all. Maybe Will was cool. Maybe. Maybe. So he, so Will grew up in the Bahamas? Yeah. No one recognized him. He's grew up at this club. Oh my god. And he's using his real name.
Starting point is 00:52:21 No, I guess Will Benson. What am I saying? That's not his real name. What ifthink he... No, I guess Will Benson, what am I saying? That's not his real name. What if it was, though? Ben Willis and Will Benson, I wish I was dead. So he goes off with Estes at this point? Yes, Estes has realized somehow that he's the killer. Maybe Estes did recognize him. Maybe, the fact that he has been able somehow that he's the killer. Maybe Estes did recognize him. Maybe. Because he, the fact that he has been able to suss out that this whole thing is a scam, that they're all going to get murdered, they all need protected except for him. Yeah. Because they all find like one of their objects, a hair, tie, a toothbrush and a gold chain in the, this this esth..., this est., this est. the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, their, the, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, the, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, their, thi, their, thi, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, thr-a. thr-s, thea. thea. thea. thease. thease, the. the. their, their, Estes' living area.
Starting point is 00:53:05 But nothing of Will's is there. So he has sussed out that they're going to get murdered because this is a scam, a radio scam, and this guy is behind it all by Brasilia. You know, I could, I think I figured out how he did it. Okay. He was paying a modicum of attention to what was going on. Which is all anybody would need to do. All it would take.
Starting point is 00:53:27 I was paying a monicum of attention and I'm still like, wait, what? It's because the backstory thing is so fucking shoehorned into this movie. I wonder if they did like a screener of it, or the studio was like, I don't understand why this is happening. Yeah, for sure. Or like, whether like he worked at the motel, or the club, the hotel, and that's why he's got points that they can use to rent the rooms. Frequent visitor points.
Starting point is 00:54:00 Ah, frequent visitor points. We see Freddy Fridst Jr. going up to Red from Roadhouse and being like, I'm gonna take your boat. I'm not looking for a weather report, I'm looking for a boat, which I think is a very funny thing to say, and I'm going to say everywhere I go now, I'll be in like Home Depot, and someone will be like, I'm not looking for a weather report. I'm looking for eight inch, eighth inch washers. Is that a tool? Sure, great. I feel like that's right up there with if you got time to lean, you got time to clean.
Starting point is 00:54:38 For sure. And I came here for results, not excuses. There. Things a coach might say. I like th a th a th. I tha tha tha tha tha tha thoooooooooooooo th. Oh. Oh. Oh. Oh. Or a guy who manages a McDonald's. Oh my god, they're so... Hancy been living in that fridge? How long had she been in there? In that walk-in fridge? Because Mackay Pfeiffer goes in there because he's hungry. Yeah. I get inappropriate to hungry so I get that. He says to Brandy, don't tell me you're not hungry. She doesn't th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I thi thi thi thi thi thi thi. I thi thi thi thi the the thi. I thi. I thi. He knows it too. I love
Starting point is 00:55:09 a snack. Oh here's where I realized it. Hey she was in the Dracula. There's this, the scene of Freddie Prince Jr. taking the boat though and traveling to the island looks so deeply shitty. It looks like that that things thi thi thi thin thin thin thin thin thin thin th. thi thi to to to to to to to thi to to to the to to to be to be to be to be to be to be to be to be to be too. too. too. too. too. too. too. too. too. too. too. too. too. I too. I to. I deeply shitty. It looks like that thing at the science center you can get in where you experience an earthquake but they just put like a beach or like an ocean shower curtain, ocean print shower curtain outside the window and Freddie Prince Jr. is like squinting and looking into the mist and you're just like go fuck yourself. I was so infuriated because he's on like the the CB radio and just keep saying come in come in come in who he never says over you have to say over those the person knows they can talk I didn't know that do
Starting point is 00:55:59 you think there's a ghost card just in there going Jesus Christ I'm fuckingtrying to come in. Oh, I don't know. So Ray eventually shows up, thwarts the murder of J. Lo by Ben Willis. I want to call everybody Ben Wilson now. Wilson? Wilson? Wilson? Wilson? I feel bad for the number of times Brandy has had to get her hair wet in this movie after
Starting point is 00:56:26 specifically saying she didn't want to. What you want to do is put it up in a hair tie. No one will let her do it. No one will let her do it. Because her boyfriend just wants to fuck in a public bowl. She, ugh, fuck. That's disgusting. It's totally disgusting. gets into their... That's a yeast infection right there. For everyone involved. He gets into
Starting point is 00:56:45 the... Will gets into the fuck Jacuzzi with them and I'm like, what are you doing? Yeah. You're such a bad, he's a bad guy in every single sense of the word. He's a bad friend. He's a bad wannabe boyfriend. And he's a bad killer. Hey, I see you guys making sex juice. thin' their tuce, thi, and th. Who puts her head under the water in a Jacuzzi, you fucking disgust, oh? Anyway, Brandy lives on a third time. She falls through like that glass thing where you're like get down and slide. Don't step on it. Have you never seen ice? Brandy walk on the bracers not on the glass. No brandy. Brandy. Brandy. Brandy. Brandy. Brandy. Brandy. Brandy. Brandy. Brandy. Brandy. Brandy. Brandy. Brandy. Brandy. Brandy. Brandy. Brandy. Brandy. Brandy. No, Brandy goes right through it. Yeah, she does. And then Estes shows up, stabbed with like a... Harpoon, maybe?
Starting point is 00:57:31 A harpoon? Trident? I don't know. And that goes all the way through Nancy. Just like, whatever. Who cares? No one cares at this. And then Jalo Hugh stabs Will, I think.
Starting point is 00:57:45 Yes. Because he's revealed that he's the bad. He's revealed that he's the bad. And he goes, what did you do that for? You're a bitch? Do you think she love you? Do you think she is actually a bitch? And he was like, I've had it.
Starting point is 00:57:57 And the director was like, this is gold. He's the best of thin. He th. He th. He's th. He's th. He's th. He's th. He's th. He's th. He's th. He's th. He's thin. He's thin. He's thin. He's thin. He's just. He's just thin. He's just th the. He's thi. He's thi. He's thi. He's thi. He's thi thi. He's thi thi heed. He's heed. He's heed. He's heed. He's heed. He's heed. He's he he he he he th. He's th. He's th. He's th. He's th. He's th. He's th. He's th. He's thi. He's thi. He's thi. He's thi. He's thi. He's th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th the the the the the the the thi th, I've had it! And the director was like, this is gold. He's the best either of them back. He's just cranking the camera. Roll, roll, roll film. Cinema Verde, finally! Then his dad shows up and he goes, hi dad. He goes up and he goes, hi dad. He can't die, won't die, Jalo, you can't die, won't die. It is just. So Freddy Prince Jr. shows up with a gun on them. Yeah. And Ben Willis says, what are you going to do boy?
Starting point is 00:58:40 Call us names. Like, that man has a gun. Why do you think that's not a gun? There's nothing about that guy that says he's going to be good at saving your life. I mean he did kill a man in semi-cold blood or at least think he did. Oh yeah that's true. Yeah. That was self-preservation though. The gun doesn't fire. Why I don't know. Because it fires again, it fires a moment later. A hundred times later. Yeah. Will Benson attacks Freddy Prince Jr. And they have a long drag out fight
Starting point is 00:59:16 until dad kills Will Benson. Dad kills Will Benson. Ben Willis kills Will Benson because he's trying to stab Freddy Prince Jr. Right. But I have the note, Freddy Prince Jr. is quickly like a bunny. He's so cute too. He's cute as a bunny. Is he still around?
Starting point is 00:59:32 He's still acting? I think he's still around. He's still acting. I think they met on the set of the first movie. Oh, is that so? I believe so, yeah. So they kill Ben and throw him into a pre-dug grave. Yeah, and he starts getting covered with mud.
Starting point is 00:59:57 And you're like, but are they really dead? And then another movie starts playing. Wait, we have to not forget that Brandy's still alive, and that she and J. Lo Hugh have a reunion, and Brandy goes, I made a steel. In that like husky timber of hers? I made a steel. What?
Starting point is 01:00:20 They're both limping towards each other, and I imagine them being like, we should have planned this. Which one of us is limping? We can't both th.. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. And th. And th. And th. And th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th thi's thi's thi's thi's thi's thi's thi's th and th and th and th and th and th and th and th and th and th and th and th and th and th and th and th and th and th and th and th and th and th and th and th and th and th th th th th and th th and th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th the thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thatee and she's that that that thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi and she's thi thi towards each other and I imagine them being like, we should have planned this. Which one of us is limping? We can't both limp. Anyway, tell me about the next movie. Cut to 10 years later, look, what is the timeline here? I don't, I assume one year. What is the house that they're living? So we cut to, Jay Love Hewitt coming home to a house that's got a sold sign in front of it. She's wearing a sleeveless denim vest, which is a look, especially with khakis.
Starting point is 01:00:49 I love how into her fashion you are. Does she, she like, smacks the sold sign? And I'm like, are you excited because you sold the house or bought the house? I think they bought the house. Don't you take the sold sign when when th th th th th th th th th th that that that that that that that that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's th house or bought the house? I think they bought the house. Don't you take the sold sign down when you buy the house? You want everyone to know it's new. Could you leave the tag on? She goes in the house.
Starting point is 01:01:11 Uh, Freddy Prince Jr. is ignoring her or something, and then she finds him, and it's like, oh, scared stuff. Then another, they're wearing matching white the tapapapapapapapapapapapapapaping tanks, taping taping taping tapank tops, I guess. That's life with Ray. You have to wear a matching shirt. She looks at the ring on her finger, because I guess he must have returned the gun and gotten the ring back. I don't know. Chubby Tom Waits was like, yeah, I was just holding. I was just holding.
Starting point is 01:01:34 She's like, we're engaged. Ray's brushing his teeth with a water running, which is fucking infuriating to me. Turn the water off. Don't brush your teeth with the water running. Where electric toothbrush is new in 1998? Were they? Because he's very excited about having an electric tooth brush. So do you have an electric toothbrush? Do you like it? I do.
Starting point is 01:01:55 When you first got it, were you like to the initial like you don't have to brush you could just hold it I don't I can't do it I don't think I like to do the work myself You really just hold it there you don't move a little a little just to make sure you make feel like you're also driving the car So there's muddy boot prints. You're like, yeah, of course. She says like, oh, there's something here and he's like, get over it. There's nothing. You need to stop being so jumpy. And it's like, get fucking therapy. And just maybe, could he be more accepting? They bought a house and got married. Isn't that enough? I guess. And she gets pulled under the bed. That's the end of the movie. Yeah, that's credits are all.
Starting point is 01:02:45 Where I have the note, God what a dumb movie. What did Amazon try to get you to watch next? What was your next up? Oh wait, I was try like exit it out of it immediately. Oh no, I fast forwarded to next? Gettysburg Extended Edition. That's just because they know who's in the room. He wasn't even there. Oh man.
Starting point is 01:03:11 Did a bell go out that was like, Rob? He's just threw open the door and he's like, did someone say Gettysburg? Katie. Alan. Oh wow, we're an hour and five minutes into this. Holy shit! I'm just such a joy talking to you. Let's read this movie. You go first.
Starting point is 01:03:27 Two. Uh-huh. Is it because it's a sequel? I forgot to mention she has her fucking Neruda scream. She's like, come at me, bro with her arms behind her back. Oh, she does. She does it again. Hilted back to the sky. I hate it so much. It's so bad. Too, really, that high.
Starting point is 01:03:46 Yeah, yeah. Yeah, I paid money for it. How about you? Um, I was going to give it a go fuck yourself, but I really do like looking at Freddie Prince Jr., who's like deeply not my type, but I just want to look at his face. Yeah, so to give it a 0.5. Okay. Yeah. Terrible movie. Brandy and J. Lo-Hew are also easy on the eyes. Meek, Kai Fifer as well. Yeah. Beautiful cast really. Jeffrey Combs.
Starting point is 01:04:10 You shouldn't me? With his teeth? Ben Willis, whoever plays him? What? Jack Black in a dreadlock week? We did not set enough time talking about Jack Black, despite being over an hour into this episode. Can I read you a message from a Patron? I would like that very much. My name is Jim and I'm from York PA. Hi Jim from York PA. I love our governor, Tom Wolfe. Is that so?
Starting point is 01:04:36 And Ed Koalcheck from live. Presumably all of live. Fucking live. I love horror movies. 80s movies are my favorite, but I love it all. Aw, I look like you, that's you. It is. The campier the better. I've tried other podcasts, but you guys are hands down the best.

The numbers would disagree with you, but I'm glad that you think that Jim, because I think you are also the best. We don't have, he says, no, do she know it all BS or judginess? We have a t-shirt to the contrary. Just pure fun. I do think Katie, it's time Katie gives her return chance though. No, I agree. Thanks also for being so interactive on social media.
