Werewolf Ambulance: A Horror Movie Comedy Podcast - Episode 352- It Chapter 2 (2019)

Episode Date: October 25, 2021

It's the exciting conclusion of our rock block, EMTs! We're discussing the second installment of the adventures of Pennywise the Dancing Clown in the 2019 film, "It Chapter Two." Special topics for yo...ur consideration include: the potential redemption of James McAvoy (we'll see), CGI bug babies and the feelings they stir up, trying to be friends with Jessica Chastain, a generalized disdain for giant Paul Bunyan, and the return of a classic recurring gag for us.  Last week (Episode 351) we discussed the first half of this unendingly long film series. In Episode 97 we discussed the miniseries. And just for fun, in Episode 126 we discussed "Cabin in the Woods," which I mention only because it's the spookytimes season and it's still one of my (Katie) favorite spookytimes movies of the last decade. Go watch that movie for your own happiness. Starting point is 00:00:00 We have stopped asking each other if we have an intro, don't we? Now we just go right into it and stare at each other. We have stopped asking each other if we have an intro, don't we? Now we just go right into it and stare at each other. Should we tell me what we do on this podcast? Well, what we do is we watch a movie, and then we talk about the movie, and we rate the movie,
Starting point is 00:00:32 we make a lot of jokes on the way. Yeah, that's pretty much it. I'm Alan. I'm Katie. This is a werewarefamulance if you're a first-time listener Yeah, weird. But okay, hi, welcome. My first note for it too says, children singing spookily, which I think was the subtitle. My first note is we start with a homophobic attack. Yeah. I was eating a General Soast tofu and I didn't get to take a lot of notes in the beginning. Where did you get General Soast tofu? From Zen Asian cuisine?
Starting point is 00:01:02 Oh, okay. It's a, it's like that place across from the gas station on like 51st. Yes. Yeah, yeah, yeah. It's fantastic, mediocre Chinese food, which is my favorite kind of Chinese food. Absolutely. Yeah, and they make a great General Sows tofu.
Starting point is 00:01:16 That's a real squeaky on your teeth. I feel about fantastic Sows Tofu. Okay. They have delicious broccoli in every other dish but not in the General Soast Tofu. They're just giving you some old shit broccoli. I don't you the old shit broccoli. Here, give me the old shit broccoli. Yeah, I don't know why. They're they're Chinese. Is that your Chinese person impression? Because it is racist? James Cagney? James Cagney? I. I? I? I? I? I? I? I? I? I? I? I? I? I? I? I? I, I? I? I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, the, the, the the the the, the, the, the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, th. th. th. th. thi, thi, thi. thi. thi. thi. their th. their their their th. their their their their, their, th're Chinese. Is that your Chinese person impression because it is racist? James Cagney. Yes we start off at a carnival. Yeah. Oh we're doing it too second chapter, chapter two. The short one. The problem is that Alan ended the last episode by singing here comes the hot stepper and now it is firmly lodged in my brainstem.
Starting point is 00:02:07 And I just keep saying to myself, Murderer. Kitty, that was a week ago. It was literally four and a half minutes. I like that our downtime between episodes is real quick these days. You're just getting right into it. So much, so much to cover. Definitely the most notes I've ever taken.
Starting point is 00:02:27 Oh wow. Oh my God, the movie never ends. Two hours and 49 minutes is too long. Anyway, go on. Yeah, there should be an it three. And this movie should not be as long as it is. I think there's going to be a thrown. Oh, is it called Shhh. It 3? Why are you doing this? Because someone is shortling right now. It's you. That's the one. I'm the funniest person I know. You
Starting point is 00:02:54 really are the funniest person I know too. Oh so we start off at a fair with some teens being shitty to a gay couple at the fair. Yeah. It's a bummer. It's such a bummer. How do we make it through the 1988-89 movie without a single F-Bomb being dropped? I don't know, but I super appreciate it. I guess because it wasn't made then, it was made now. Right, exactly.
Starting point is 00:03:16 Like, yeah. It's not times. Which is worse to me. Yeah, for sure. I'd be fine if I never heard that word again. Oh for sure. So this couple gets attacked, beaten in the street, and one of them is murdered and thrown into a river by some fucking teens. It's crazy. They're so easily identifiable. They don't hide their faces at all and they leave one. I mean I'm not suggesting if you're going to kill one person you should kill two. All right, calm down Jay-Z. You're going to leave no witnesses. I mean though I'm right. Sure. I mean, Jacey's right. You're right. I know this. thrown. the the the the same. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. they. they. th. th. they. they. their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their. I'm their. I'm their. I'm their. I'm their. I'm their. I's. I's. I's. I's. I's. I's. I's. I's. I's. I's. I's. I's. I's. I's. I's. I's. I's. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. they. the the the the the the the the they. the they. they. they. they. they know this. So easily identifiable. But poor Adrian, I mean really. Yeah. It's brutal. They actually don't murder him. They throw him over the bridge and he lives
Starting point is 00:04:10 into the water. Yes. And then what happens to him? He gets chomped by Pennywise. Guys, Pennywise is back. Imagine thinking you were going to live and then getting chomped by Pennywise. It's how it's how you wanted to go. Is it? Hmm. Question. Yeah. Who's printing those balloons for Pennywise and does he have to go pick them up? I don't know. I don't know, but he's got a lot of them.
Starting point is 00:04:36 He's got a lot and they all say I love dairy on them. That's funny to me. the only thooo', which makes me think of another song that I actually very much hate. I mean, I love balloons. I hate it so much. Something about that baseline stresses me the... Oh my God! Do you see what I'm doing right now? It's so catchy! I hate it so much, it gives me so much anxiety. I don't know why. Does it just make you think of a cold war? I guess so. I guess so. I. I'm. I th, I th, I th, I th, I'm. I th, I th, I th, I th, I th, I th, I th, I th, I th, I th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th that that that that th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th. I hate th. I hate th. I hate th. I hate th. I hate th. I hate th. I hate th. I hate th. I hate. I hate th th th th th th. I hate. I hate th hate that that that that that that that that that thi that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that. Does it just make you think of the Cold War? I guess so. I guess so. Speaking of, I'm so disappointed in all of you, Patrons, who did not vote for Rocky
Starting point is 00:05:12 Four for a reaction movie for this month. Disappointed. Well, we're finally going to get a Wesley Snife's movie, which is very exciting. That's fine, but I really wanted a car, what's his name? Carl Drago? No, Ivan Drago, but what's the actor's name? He was he man? He was in a... Oh, you know, not gonna be able to pull it right now. I know who it is. He was a yes, he was married to Red Sonia. He was married to Red Sonia. Who that probably has a real name too? Melissa, hold on. I have in Drago.
Starting point is 00:05:50 It's definitely not Melissa. I think it's Melissa. Joanne maybe? Joanne! Stop it! I'm not wrong. Dolph Lundgren. I guess they were never married. Hold on. I gotta go through this personal life here on Wikipedia. I know he's an Everton fan. I. I. I. I. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. thi. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. thollion, thollun, thi. thollion, th. tholi. to th. th. M. M. M. M. M. M. M. M. M. M. M. M. M. M. M. M. M. M. M. M. M. M. M. M. M. M. M. M. M. M. M. M. M. M. M. M. M. M. M. M. M. M. M. M. M. M. M. M. M. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I thi. I to. I'm to. I'm to. I'm to. I'm to. I'm to. I don't know who you're thinking of. Are we, are you
Starting point is 00:06:10 thinking of that Stallone was with Brigitte Nielsen? I thought he was with Brigitte Nielsen. No, Brigitte Nielsen is his movie wife. That's what it is. Oh, that's right. He had a relationship with Grace Jones. Yes, Grace Jones. And Paula Barbieri, who then was OJ Simpson's girlfriend at the time that he killed and killed Nicole Brown Simpson. Oh, wow. Yeah. Bet y'all didn't think you were going to get these facts tonight, did you?
Starting point is 00:06:38 I'm talking a lot about murders. So Mike is still in town. Yeah. And he sees all the balloons. Or he sees one balloon. It doesn't matter. And then 99 or one. Come home written in blood on the train trestle. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:06:55 That made me think of my favorite graffiti in Pittsburgh, which is under the 31st Street Bridge, and it's a rainbow flag that says, Make America Gay again. That whole scene really made me thiiiiiiiiiiiii tha thoom tho tho tho th. Bridge and it's a rainbow flag that says make America gay again. That whole scene really made me think of it. It's not in Bloomfield Quatto Lives in front of the Shire Seam. Oh, God, that's gone. That's, yeah, they got rid of that and then the same, the same person has been terrorizing
Starting point is 00:07:15 that corner, which I'm very excited about. But they did the Bill Padoo is a Dicklessless rascal tagle, tagl, tag, tag, tag, tag, tag, tag, t, t, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, thi, to, to, is, is, is, is, is, is to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to live, to live, to, to, to lives, to lives, to lives, to lives, to lives, to lives, to lives, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to to to the the they. they. they. their their their their their their tho. the. thi. thi. too. thi. to to to to too, to live in Pittsburgh and didn't see this, it's amazing. Somebody tagged, Bill Paduto is a Dickless Rascal, Bill Paduido being our mayor. Our soon to be not mayor. I'm soon to be not mayor. And then in a different color, clearly the same hand, wrote next to it, no he's not. And then in the third color, it just said, yes I am. I mean graffiti lives at that corner for ages. That was less than 48 hours. Really?
Starting point is 00:07:49 Yeah. Bill Pidu was a dickless rascal. I like the idea of calling someone a rascal. Yes, I am. You rap scallion. That's the opening of this movie. So Mike has to make a bunch of phone calls and be like, I'm the one guy who stayed in town, everybody come home. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:08:08 And everybody comes home and nothing is wrong. Everyone comes back to town, everything's fine. Uh, well, let's talk about who these people are. Okay. Bill is James McAvoy. Bill, theemn't to get me back on his. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. thi. th. the. tho. tho. thoom. tho. thi. thi. the. tho. tho. tho. tho. tho. tho. tho. tho. tho. thi. thi. thi. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. theeeeea. thea. theeeea. thea. theeeea. thea. He's a good actor. He just happened to be in the worst movie you've ever seen. Well I'll let you know. And his wife? His wife? Is the girl from Teeth? Oh, really? Yeah. All grown up? Oh, that's wild. Yeah. Do you guys see teeth? It's real good. Did we did? Did we did? Did we did? We did? We did. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the the the the the the the the th. th. the th. the the th. the the the the th. th. th. the th. the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. the. the. te. tea. tea. tea. tea. tea. tea. tea. the. the. the. the. did. We did. It is a very fun movie about the vagina, dentata. It's amazing. Which is a very fun thing to say. D'attah. That's what? Josh. It's like Josh Hartnett as well. Josh Hartnett has been.
Starting point is 00:08:54 Wait, what? He doesn't look like? Do you think he looks exactly like Josh Hartnett. I think he looks like a steak that somebody glued a magazine cutout head to. It's because he's so beefy. He is such a bad actor. He's such a good underwear model though. Oh my god, he's studly. But every time he talks, you're like, don't. Shhh. Just be beautiful.
Starting point is 00:09:20 Beautiful people are made to be seen and not heard, honestly. Stop having podcasts, celebrities. We're beautiful people. Dada da da da. You can't even do that anymore, can we? Fuck that guy. God, damn. Garbage dick. It's like one of our favorite jokes too.
Starting point is 00:09:37 Eddie was in Prom Night 2008. This is a real who's who of a we're off ambulance fan. And as I said th th th th th th th th th th th th th th that th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th is th is th is thi thi thi thioom people are thoom people are th. thi thiou, thoom people are to be to be to be to bea. to bea. to bea. to bea. to bea. to bea. to be to be to be beautiful, to be to be to be to be to be to be th. th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th. th. th. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thoooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooambulance fan. And as I said in that, I love that actor. I think he's great and I think he's phenomenal in this movie. He is, at points, he becomes a little much. Yeah, but it's supposed to be a little much. I know, but this movie goes from like fun to, like, frustrating very quickly. Yeah, for sure. Bill Hater is Richie. Yeah. And who's mad at Bill Hater? Nobody. I bet a lot of people actually don't like Bill Hater, yeah. Really? He's a comedian.
Starting point is 00:10:08 He does voices. It's fun. Yeah, do you like voices. Uh, Jessica Chastain. Do we mention that? We did not. She is Beverly. She has that same thing that uh, Sharon Stone has for me. Oh, where I just think that like she would never want to be my friend. And so. And. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. the to. to. to. the the the to. the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the their. Yeah, they. Yeah, they. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. the the the the the the th. I. th. th. t. t t t te. te. te. th. th. th. th. the the th. the th. the the the the th. the th. the that like she would never want to be my friend and so I don't like her as a result. I think I might know of something that can make you come or make you come around on that idea. Tell me. Have you seen the image of her getting bit on the tit by a horse? No hold on. New tab. New tab. Oh no. She was betting a horse that was carrying a carriage like New York City. And she's like petting it and it just went like nudged close to her and just bit around the titty. Of course it did, they're monsters!
Starting point is 00:10:54 Oh my god. So you both have that in common and she said, she's like yelled like, it just bit my tit or something like that when it happened. She looks like she's just smiling though. I would have been, I know I would have been a monster. You would have just fallen back and there would already been a coffin waiting for you. Yeah. Yeah. She makes jokes about it I'd be dead. She's still too, it's just the thing about being very cool, a very cool woman. Yeah, I just assume you don't like me. I think she would love you. Stop that. She has the most phenomenally different facial structure than her younger counterpart. It's a
Starting point is 00:11:30 weird casting I think. Yeah, like red hair, red hair, go. That's fine. Go, go, go, go, go. Yeah, I'm not a big fan of it, but that's okay. I think she's a great actor. Yeah, I think thi's a great actor. Yeah, what is it? Missy, I, I, I, I, I, I th. I th. I th. I th. Miss, I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. th. th. th. th. th. th. thi. I th. th. th. th. th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. thi. thin. theeee. thea. thea. thea. thea. theea. thea. theeeea. theea. theeeea. the. she's in? She's really good at that. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Missy doesn't like it when I make jokes that she's the same actor as Bryce Dallas Howard, because I think they look exactly the same. Oh, yeah. I was gonna suggest that she might have been in the village.
Starting point is 00:11:55 No. No. Poor Stanley. Stanley. Stanley. Does the original miniseries have the like redemption of Stanley that this one has? No. No. Okay, I didn't think so. It's just he just killed himself.
Starting point is 00:12:20 And his head does show up later in a fridge. Yes. It's Richard Mazer. He's like somebody's he's he's he's he's he's he's he's he's he's he's he's he's he's he's he's he's he's he's he's he's he's he's he's the dad's that's that's that's that's that's that's dad's dad's that's that's that's that's that's that's that he's that he's that he's that he's that he's that he's that he's that he's that he's that he's just. He's just. He's just. He's just. He's just. He's just. He just. He just. He just he just he just he just he just he just he just he just he just he just he just just just just just just just just just just just just just just just just just just just just just he's just he's just he's just he's just he's just he's just. He's just he's just he's just he's just. He's just he's just he's just he's just he's just he's just he's just he's just he just he just he just he just he just he just he just he just he just he just he just he just he just he just he just he just he just he in a fridge. Yes. It's Richard Mazor. I love Richard Mazar. He's like somebody's dad in every movie. He's the dad and Enzino man. I find this film of the 90s. The only film of the 90s. Other than Can't Hardly wait. They really bookend the decade for me. We see Beverly, the surprise to no one that she's in an abusive relationship.
Starting point is 00:12:46 Oh God, it sucks. I'm like so sick of this character having to beat the shit out of her abusers. Yeah, just give her a goddamn break. Let her go to the mall once in a while. I guess in this book Stephen King was real hip on the idea that people marry their parents. It does seem that way. Yeah, because Eddie's wife thiiiiiiiii w. the w. the w. the w. the w. thi w. thi w. thi w. thi's thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. the. the. the. th. th. to tho. to to to to to to to to to to to to to tooom. It's too. It's too. It's too. It's th. It's th. It's th. It's to to to to th. It's to to to to to to to th. It's to to toe. It's toe. It's toe. It's toe. It's th. It's thi. It's the. It's the. It's the. It's the. the. the. thea. toooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo. marry their parents. It does seem that way. Because Eddie's wife is a worry wart who is constantly telling him that he's going to die doing whatever he's doing, much like his mother.
Starting point is 00:13:13 And also overweight, which is also a point of jokes. Yeah, yeah, it's funny because she's fat. It's funny to make fun of fat people. Fat people stink. Stephen Kang. Stephen Kang. So, uh, everybody? Yes, we know about the Stephen Kang Sharks of the Corn movie. That's out. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:13:30 Thank you for letting us know. We've gotten about 100 messages about it. You know, I mean, it's just one of those things that makes you angry because you didn't trademark it. We probably said copyright, copyright, copyright. And that counts, right? Because you mailed it to yourself afterwards. Yeah, get a 70-so-to-Mai'or on the phone. Let's see if we can take this to court.
Starting point is 00:13:50 That's who I would want, yeah. Let's get her on the line. She's my favorite of the justices. Oh yeah, for sure. Did you find it hard to believe that all these people actually picked up their cell phones when it was a number they didn't recognize? Uh-huh. I was like, Mike would have had to leave so many voicemails. I think it was all just, it's an area code they recognize. I mean, I don't pick up every number from 412.
Starting point is 00:14:14 No, they're all spam calls. That's what I'm saying. spam didn't exist. But yeah, I like the like Ritchie Pukes when he gets the phone call. Yeah. Stan kills himself. Did you get upset about actually singing Puk? Yeah, I hate it. I hate it. I hate it when it happens again later. I like it. You could just imply vomit, vomit. I don't have to see it. I do. And I appreciate when people put vomit in movies. Maybe there could just be a little thing I could look away for a second. Avert your eyes. The the gang all meeting back up in the Chinese restaurant scene. Yeah, very reminiscent of the first. Yeah, because I was also eating Chinese food so I felt like a real gizmit with this movie. Yeah, you were with one with them. Yeah. I liked when everything went bonkers. This is some CGI
Starting point is 00:15:00 that I enjoyed. Oh like thethe little, like the, the bug with the baby. Did you like that bug with a baby? Oh, I did not like that at all. I like the idea of like scary things coming out of fortune cookies. Yeah. I think that's excellent. But that bug baby was just not for me. I just want to like be watching television and it just be sitting on my shoulder and like occasionally chiming in about what I'm like like like like like like like like like like like like like like like like like like like like like like like like. like. like. like. Like. Like. Like. Like. Like. Like. Like. Like. Like. Like. Like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, the the the the the the the the the the the the th. th. the the th. I, like, like, like, like, like, like,y thing, like maybe something from Labyrinth. Yeah, for sure. Yeah, for sure. I also like the fortune cookie. That was just one bat wing to, like, terrifying everybody. The eyeball, I liked the eyeball. The eyeball was cool.
Starting point is 00:15:34 Tentacles? Yeah. And there's also a word in jokes about their friend having a suicide. Well, Pennywise, I don't know if you know this. Yeah. Bit of a dick. Bit of a dick. He likes an off-color joke. And in this scene, it's revealed that all of the adults who left,
Starting point is 00:15:59 everyone but Mike has no memory of what happened really. Right. But they do still, but they don't. I can't tell they just don't have memories of it, or if they don't have memories of the town or of each other? I mean, at one point, Richie says he didn't even remember that he was from this town. Until two hours ago. That seems crazy you'd come back. Sure. But if someone calls you up on to to to a blood oath, you're like well I guess I gotta go back.
Starting point is 00:16:28 I did a blood oath. Not me. No? I'm flaky though. We did this blood oath that we would never stop doing the podcast. We didn't do a blood oath, we did a promise. Oh we did pinky promise. Pinky promise. A kiss of death, pinky promise. And also it's just just. us dies. Until Death to us podcast. Can we do an episode 3,426 and we're still like, dick joke? Just me and an iron lung recording a long? Why? When did you get polio? Polio? An iron lung? I don't, I don't think so. What's the iron lung for? It helps you breathe. No. Why would they call it an iron lung then? It was for polio.
Starting point is 00:17:12 Okay, it's a respirator and it's for polio. Okay. Okay. Look at that double duty iron lung. Yeah. I did not like the black lava blood stuff that was pouring out of the middle the middle the middle the middle the middle the middle the middle the middle the middle the middle the middle the middle the middle the middle the middle the middle the middle the middle the middle the middle the middle the middle the the the the the to to to to to to too. too. too.. too. toolioe. toolioe. too. too. too. too. too. too. toe. toe. I thought it looked bad. Yeah, just like sort of cheap.
Starting point is 00:17:34 It was just like, we actually don't want to clean this restaurant up later, so we're not going to do that one here. I see. Gotcha. And Mike is bashing a table into the table screaming, it's not real, it's not real. And the waitress just comes back and she's like, is everything all right back here? And it's like, no, if a customer's doing that, you fucking call the cops. But Richie gets the good, uh, well, we've like the check please joke off. Richie's jokes are, mooing all. And then he like is so mean to that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that that that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that mean to that child. I thought that was actually a really funny bit. Do you like all that child just gets murdered and there's no fanfare about it?
Starting point is 00:18:13 And poor little Vicky? Yeah, I did. Did you like that? Yeah, fuck that kid. How dare you have shorts? Yeah, but just the idea of Bill Hater yelling, fuck you into a child's face. That is pretty funny, too.
Starting point is 00:18:32 A little kid runs up to Bill Hater, and it's like quotes a line from his act to him that could also be something Pennywise would say. Yeah. And then he yells at the kid and he's like, I'm just a fan, man. It's from your act, calm down. I do like that the kid turns up again later though. Yeah. Just to die, it sucks so bad. Because the next scene is this little girl who has like a, um, a strawberry birthmark on her face. Yeah. Yeah. People make fun. Penny wise, it's like I'm your friend. thr- th. th. th the dark and you're like yeah kid you're gonna get away no he fucking kills her it's so distressing. He has that adorable laugh that everyone wants to hang out with. Strong disagree. Yeah yeah for sure. If you were under the
Starting point is 00:19:13 pleaers and you saw a man. Not even dressed as a clown what do you do? Hiding in the dark. He walked back out from under the bleachers and also ew, why are you under the bleachers? Ooh. Ooh. You could smoke weed wherever now. Get out of here. Yeah, it's anywhere. It's just fine. The other day I was driving home and I couldn't figure out if one house had the stinkiest weed that stuck with me or if every house on my drive home was smoking weed. Yes. I think the windows are open, everyone's just the th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th thu thu thu tho tho tho you you you you you you you you you you you you you you you you you you you you you you you you you you you you you you you you you you you you you you you you you you you you you you you you you you you you you you you you you the the the th. the the th. the the th. the th. to th. to th. to thu. to to to tho to to to to to to to tho to to to to to to to to to thooooo. to to to to thooooooo home was smoking weed? Yes. I think the answer is yes. Yes, yeah. The windows are open. Everyone's just huffing a bone.
Starting point is 00:19:49 You're allowed to. Yeah. It's all legal now. Everything's fine. Now we see the zombie driver. I believe we discussed last week, which is Patrick, yeah, who appears in this movie as well, but only as a zombie. Yeah. Because he comes to pick up Henry Bowers. Yeah, who escapes from jail by killing people.
Starting point is 00:20:07 Yeah. From a psychiatric prison. I also think it's a great casting on old Henry Bowers, because he looks insane. Yeah. And he looks a lot like the kid. He does. Yeah, he also looks like a child star gone wrong. He does. Yeah, he has that sort of like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, thi. that sort sort sort sort sort sort sort sort sort sort sort sort sort sort sort sort sort sort sort sort sort sort sort sort sort sort sort sort sort sort sort sort sort sort sort sort sort sort that sort that sort that sort that sort that sort of like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, that, that, that, that, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, about him which is a mean thing to say but I'm you know yeah but he looks like he could have been I don't know on eight is enough or something and then showed up on this relevant show mention there thanks old man just the ten of us was that one of them?
Starting point is 00:20:39 Family ties again but so yeah Pennywise kills the little girl by saying that he can blow the birthmark off of her face. Ugh, it sucks so bad. And then he eats her face. Yeah. She's just a baby. Yeah. Also, keep an eye on your kids. But you gotta let him go find Woods porn sometime. We don't live somewhere with woods. Sorry, I'm trying. You gotta let them find urban porn. Ew. In the library, there's like a hatchet inside a glass case and Bill's looking at it and you're just like, yeah, I'm sure this won't come back. Just gazing at it.
Starting point is 00:21:21 Oh, the origin story. You said aliens, but did you mean Native Americans? No, there's like a meteor crashes and like... Wait, what? Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Oh, I miss that. Yeah, on the side of the, like, the, the tubs that he got from the, like, indigenous people, the tub to hold the three, the deadlights in, it has a star like crashing down. And that's why when they go to Pennywise's house later on, it's all like exploded out hot and melted rock. Huh. Yeah, it's a meteorite.
Starting point is 00:21:58 They're aliens. I mean, that's the thing in it is like it's an alien life form. It's like a spider. You know, he turns into a crab man later on, but it's like the thing in it is it like it's an alien life form. It's like a spider. You know, he turns into a crab man later on, but it's like a spider thing. Well, they keep saying, the joke of this movie is that the ending sucks. Sure. They keep saying that, which I assume is a reference to it, like, the ending sucked, like, the ending to a book? Yeah, it sucked, it sucked, like, because it was like a spider that fell down from space,
Starting point is 00:22:26 and then there was like, yeah, it's just a bad ending to a book. You might think that Stephen King wouldn't like that kind of poking a fun in himself, but oh no, don't worry, he's in this movie. Of course he is. It's fucking ding dong. So we find out that Mike is a bad friend, and also lives in a library and I was like I'd live in a library if I was a single dude. Totally live in the library. Yeah. Totally don't drug your friend. Don't dose your fucking friends. No one should trip without their permission. No it's not gonna be good. That's awful. It is. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:22:56 So Bill sees everything Mike is telling him about the indigenous people that he did Iowaska with basically. Yeah. And they they, Bill, Bill, Bill, Bill, Bill, Bill, Bill, Bill, Bill, Bill, Bill, Bill, Bill, Bill, Bill, Bill, they, they, they, they, they, they, they, they, they, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to tho, tho, tho, tho, tho, totli thooooooooooooooooooooooooooo, toli toli toli, to to tol people that he met with and that he did Iowaska with basically. And they like, I liked the like mud animation of all that stuff. I thought that was pretty neat looking. Yeah. And we see that it was a meteorite that crashed in the earth. I don't know how I missed that. I love that you did.
Starting point is 00:23:22 I did. And that, like, it turned this area evil and like that's why the indigenous people like moved outside of Dairy. They all moved outside of the limits of the power of the evil. Got it. But they told him that he could trap the three balls of light inside of this bucket that they gave him. But that bucket has many drawings on it. It it. It's like it's like it. It's like it, it, it, it, it, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that's like, th, that's like, th, that's like, that's like, that's like, th, th, th, th, th, thi, the, thi, the, thi, thi thi thi the indigenous the indigenous the indigenous the indigenous, the indigenous, the indigenous, the indigenous, the indigenous, the indigenous, the indigenous, the indigenous, the indigenous, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi thi, thi thi that's that's like thi, that's like that's thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thii thii thii thi thi thi thi thi ththis bucket that they gave them. But that bucket has many drawings on it. It does. It's like a god-dame dry erase board. And one side is all scratched out. Dunn, tun, I didn't notice that until it happened later. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 00:23:56 Deadlights. A great band, but probably a shitty band. Sure. Oh, do you know a local band called the Purple Zombie Lobsters? I do not know that. They got in toucest with us on Instagram to say that they were a local band and just found out about the podcast. Oh, that's awesome. Yeah. Hey, Purple Zombie Lobsters. Thanks for listening.
Starting point is 00:24:19 Yeah. I will make a point to check y'all out. I will too. I'm not going to go to a show or anything, but I'll listen to it. Well, not now. It's not showtimes. I'm not probably not later either. I'm not going anywhere. Let's be real. So Bev is also like clairvoyant.
Starting point is 00:24:34 Yes. Yes. Because she's seen the deadlion. saying things like every night since Dary I've been having these nightmares, but also she doesn't remember anything. And how? Yes. Okay. I don't know. She immediately remembered that she's in love with Bill and wants to have all of his babies.
Starting point is 00:24:52 But then she's talking about the poem to Ben later, she's like, I think Bill? Was it Bill? Was it Bill Bill. Ben's like, hmm, the kiss. It wasn't me. I got all beefy hot. I'm not fat anymore. I did this for you. So they come back, like, after Bill trips and sees all that, they come back to the group, Bill's the trithe ritual that they have to do?
Starting point is 00:25:26 The ritual of Chud? It is. It is that. He keeps pronouncing it chud. We all know it's chud. Yeah. And so they basically have to kill it or it will kill them. Right, right.
Starting point is 00:25:43 Yeah. Kind of like that better. Sure. Yeah, yeah. their. their. their. their. their. their. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. thuuiia. thuia. thooooooooo. thuia. thoooooooom. thoooom. thuuuuuiiuuuuuuuuuuuuuu. the ritual. their their their their their. their. th. th right. Yeah. Kind of like that better. Sure. Yeah, yeah, a little altruism worked out a lot better. Yeah. Because some of them are like, we'll do this so it'll never hurt anyone again. And then Richie's like, yeah, no, fuck that. I'm just thear. Yeah. And maybe I'll not. He threatens to leave through the whole movie and never does. I just like Bev's casual blazer. I don't think wearing a blazer for casual look is a good look. No. No, not for me. That's a casual place. Casual blaze. Well, I love a casual blaze. You have to have weed in your pockets at all times. If you have a casual blaze in which you blaze, I guess that's all right. Yeah, hammy my casual blaze. And then we see a flashback to where Ben has built an underground bunker as a child. Like he built support beams? What?
Starting point is 00:26:36 What? Later I'm going to be a super rich architect. To tell you that I'm going to do that, I don't fuck with Lagos. No, Lincoln Logs, I guess it's the 80s, but still. I build an underground fortress for you. It is reinforced. It's so silly. In this scene, Stan says to them, do any of your parents still hang out with their friends
Starting point is 00:27:02 from middle school? It's a point. Rob was like, I do. Rob, you're the exception that proves the rule. Yeah, yep, yep, yep. Yeah, I don't hang out with any, I don't hang out with any of my friends from high school even. Yeah, I have one she lives in LA. She's nice. No, she's just, this would not be for her. The teens got in touch from last week where I asked him if they were cool and they said, yes. We love you and we love the cure. You guys are cool like the cure.
Starting point is 00:27:37 We are cool like the cure. We are cool like the cure. and a relic of something. And look like someone's aunt with insane lipstick. I love him. My favorite is not to go down the cure again, but there's a brief clip of Robert Smith on some red carpet, and a woman walks up to him and goes, how excited are you to be here?
Starting point is 00:28:00 And he just goes, not as excited as you. Oh, love him. Love him. Just like setting I'm a miserable prick 40 years ago and just hanging on to it. Just hanging on to it. And being like, going to war with Morrissey and coming out the victor is awesome.
Starting point is 00:28:18 Yeah, fuck Morrissey though. So we're told that they each need to find an artifact. Yeah. And they have to split up to do it. Which is soop's vague and I don't think most of them actually do it. And that's the whole movie. This movie is 2 hours and 49 minutes. This is most of it.
Starting point is 00:28:35 You could have lopped an hour out of this movie without even blinking. It's really a lot of their, I think a more interesting story is the dynamics between them. For sure. A less interesting story is them reliving their childhoods individually. And a much less interesting story is Paul Bunyan attacking someone. I mean, that's a lot. That's straight up sucked. That's straight up sucked. Like, I wasn't a big fan of Bev getting to you with the old lady. I like that. That scene really scared me when I saw it in the original miniseries when I was a kid.
Starting point is 00:29:13 And I liked the old woman just like sort of walking by naked. But she like shimmy's by. Yeah, I thought that woman, I thought that older woman, the actress was great. She had such a good facial expression for like, the, the, their, th. thi. thi. thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, the, that, that's, that's, that's, that's, that's, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that's, th. And, th. And, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, that's, that's, that's, that's, that's, that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's, I's that's, I's, I's that's, that's that, I thought that older woman, the actress, was great. She had such a good facial expression for like, there's something creepy happening behind this vacant look. Oh yeah. I thought she was wonderful. She was giving me like, if a roach just just crawled out of her eye, you would not be a surprise and the act was that, the woman has their husband, like, I'll do it. I'll make that lady. Yeah, she was giving me like if a roach just crawled out of her eye you would not be a surprise and the actress probably been like I'll do it. Yeah, I'll make that happen. I thought she was great. That scene where they're
Starting point is 00:29:50 talking and the actress says something and just stops. Yes. To the point of be like, that like, hey? She almost like to like snap in her face, yeah. And I did like that like to like to like to like to like to like to like to like to like to like to like to like to like to like to like to like to like to like to like to like to like to like to like to like to like to like to like to like to like to like to like that like that like that like s like, like, like that like that like that like that like that like that like that like that like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, that, that, that, like, that, that, like, that, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like I did like the like giant tiddy-swinging lady running out of the kitchen I did not like that at all I think I liked it because I thought it was really funny. It's very fun. This movie has such a different tone Yeah, and it waivers between its tones wildly. Oh, this movie feels way more like Goonies in the first one did. Yeah, yeah, for sure It's strange. I'm surprised it was than the first one did. Yeah, yeah. For sure. It's strange. I'm surprised it was directed by the same person.
Starting point is 00:30:29 Does it feel like a different person directed it? For sure. Yeah. I think from what I was reading, the original script was written by different people. And then they just sort of like t think that might be the tonal shift. And also there were a couple years between the movies, hence why all of the kids look super weird when we flash back to them.
Starting point is 00:30:53 Like Finn Wolfhard has obviously grown. And Georgie too. Georgie is like a lot bigger than he was in the first movie. Yeah. Yeah, like a surprising amount. And apparently they had had thured thured thured thured thured thured their thured their thured their thured thured their thured thured thu thu they were their they were grow a lot when they're like, yeah, like a surprising amount. Yeah. And apparently they like had to like remove all the kids body hair because they'd gone through puberty and stuff or like had started shaving. Yeah. And like like had them all like they had to notch their voices up. Really? Because their voices have gotten too deep. But are they, okay. I need to look up whether or not they're making a th. T third th. the third th. the third th. the third the third th. their th. their th. their. their their. th. their their they're th. their they're their they're their they're they're they're they're they're their they're they're they're they're they're they're they're they're they're they're they're they're they're they're they're they're they're they're they're they're they're they're they're they're they're they're they're they're they're they're they're they're they're they're they're they're they're their. their. their. their. their. their. th. th. th. th. th. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. their. their. their. their. they're they're they're they're they're they're they're they're up whether or not they're making a third one or whether I just invented that. I don't know what the third one would be.
Starting point is 00:31:25 It three. Yeah, there's an official trailer out. What? Weird. I mean, I don't know. This, I don't know. Is it a movie about the IT department? That show the IT department or an actual IT department? Yes. I really, I really, it, I, I, I, I, I, the the the the the the the th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, th. th. th. Yeah, th. Yeah, th, th, th, th, th, th. th. th. th. th. I'm, th. I'm, th. I'm, th. th. th. th. Yeah, thi, thi, thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. Yeah, they. Yeah, the, the, the, the, I don't know. I mean you finished the book, what would you do?
Starting point is 00:31:48 I don't know. This is how the internet confuses me is that the first thing that comes up our videos, it chapter 3 official trailer, and then a news story from Digital Spy, which I think is a real website, saying why chapter 3, probably in parentheses, won't happen. Because the story is, parentheses, done. Yeah, I don't know parentheses. What else you could fucking do with this thing? It's five and a half hours of movie or whatever. So we find out that that Ritchie is queer by the Paul Bunyan attacking him. It's a bit much. Yeah. You've got mail poster behind him in the arcade.
Starting point is 00:32:32 I just want to point out. Oh, was there? And I thought, oh, that's a movie we've done. This is full of things we've done. And then Bev's got the giant titty-swinging lady. Uh, what's... Who says to her, no one who dies here ever really dies? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:32:51 And I thought, well, where are they going? Yeah. She doesn't tell. Because Bev runs away. Yeah. She's more information to get Bev. Yeah. Bill stops in a pawn shop or an antique store.
Starting point is 00:33:06 Who works there? Who's there? Who is it? Who is it? It's our friend. Stephen King. I love him. Oh, he's wearing a Neil Young Harvest t-shirt.
Starting point is 00:33:14 You can't get mad at him. Fucking ding dong. But before we get to that, though, I want to talk about the Paul Bunnion attacking. Yeah, Rich Rich Rich Rich Rich Rich Rich Rich Rich, th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. to th. th. to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to th. Who to that though, I want to talk about the Paul Bunyan attacking. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Uh, Richie. Who also, I thought, I couldn't figure what his artifact was. It might have been that street fighter machine? Or is a token from the street fighter? But Penny Wise says to him, do you want to play street fighter?
Starting point is 00:33:37 Which I thought was just like, yeah. Like, Pennywise is definitely Blanca, which I said to Rob, and Rob was like, he wasn't in that version of Street Fighter, and I was like, seriously, stop facting me. He knows so many facts about Street Fighter and Civil War. He didn't hit two of his wheelhouses. He was pretty excited. Do you want to play Street Fighter? You're like, Ito play Street Fighter? Do you want to play Street Fighter? And you're like, I would play Street Fighter with Bill Scarsgard. Yeah, sure.
Starting point is 00:34:06 Do that I think. Do that I think. Make your mouth drop like a bear or whatever. Tell me about your brothers. Yeah. Tell me about your weird dad. I saw his weener in a movie once. They're really stuck with you. I'll never th th the sight of Selen Scars Guard's Limp Penis.
Starting point is 00:34:27 That's your band name. Oh, that's mean. Anyway, it's a very silly Paul Bunyan statue. Yeah. Why does it attack Ritchie? And why does he believe it to be real? I don't know. And there's like a Biorc musical number happening behind him. It's all very strange. And th. And not. And not thagagagag. It's very strange. And not at all engaging.
Starting point is 00:34:45 I was like, this can be done. This is patting a five hour long movie. There's no scares to be had with that. None. Yeah. None. And I don't think there could. I just, there's nothing there.
Starting point is 00:34:56 Like, this whole finding your token token thing just doesn't work work, just, just, just, just, just, just, just, just, just, just, just, just, just, just, just, just, just, just, just, just, just, just doesn't tho, just doesn't work, just doesn't work, just doesn't tho, just doesn't tho, just doesn't tho, just, just, just, just, just, just, just doesn't, just doesn't tho, just doesn't th. It just doesn't work. Yeah, and then so, you're right, Bill goes to the, um, Stephen King's pawnshop. Stephen King's pawn shop and buys the bike. Silver. Yeah. Silver. And so we get a comedic scene of an old man trying to figure out a bike. When did it, like, at that point I was like, when did this become a comedy with
Starting point is 00:35:17 Stephen King and the tone shifts so wildly. Who's casting James McAvoy for comic release? Bill goes back in the sewer, oh look it's Georgie, it's not fucking Georgie. Yeah. Plus you know Georgie only has one arm. But he does get the boat which becomes his totem. I thought the bike was his totem. No, it's the boat. Well, he's got several. And as far as I can tell, everyone else has maybe one or zero. Like, what was Benz? Yeah, I don't remember what Benz was. That's what I thought. Yeah, Bev's was on we, I think.
Starting point is 00:35:54 Well, she breaks open the floorboard, the woman's house and thinks the poem. Oh, that's right, she finds the the the pa. the pa. the pa. the pa. th. th. thoom. thoom. thin. thin. thin. thin. I's thin. I's thin. I's thin. I's thin. I's thoes. I's thoes. thoes. thinks. I'm thoes. I thoes. I thoes. I thoes. I thoes. I thoes. I thoes. I thoes. I thoes. I's thoen. I is. I is. I is. I is. I is. I. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. th. th. th. th. thee. the. the. the. the. thee. the. the. the. that. B. that's. the. B. the. B. th pen. Leave that fucking lady's house alone. That's rude. Oh, also, when she runs out of the house and you see that it's all boarded up, it looked like shit. I was so bummed. Yeah. And it's one of those things where it's like, it's like when I saw Avatar and I thought it looked bad and I was like, no, you spent $250 million to do a thing. I nearly spend a butt million dollars to do this. It could have looked better.
Starting point is 00:36:30 I agree. If the TV movie looked better, this could have looked better. The TV movie was full of good practical effects. Yeah, yeah, and John Ritter. Oh, God rest his soul. And I'm going to miss everybody. Oh, we haven't done a bonethugs reference in a long time. Yeah, I was like so bummed that it did not look good.
Starting point is 00:36:50 Yeah, it's so easy to make a boarded-up building. This is America, they're everywhere. Also when the naked old lady is running by, she's jingling. We forgot to mention. Yeah, she is, isn't she? Because she's a clown. So there's a there's a lot a lot a lot a lot a little there's she? Because she's a clown. So there's a lot of little kid hands down in the sewer, the grab Bill, and then he hears
Starting point is 00:37:09 a voice from behind him. It's a little boy from the restaurant. Yeah. Who that Richie has yelled at? And now Bill is yelling at. Yes. And he says something about the tub. You know, from the drain. He's like so fucking casual about it. And then like tells this old man
Starting point is 00:37:29 his plans for the night, he's like, well I'm going to the carnival, so I'll be there. This beast, Bill is shaking him. He's like, move out of funny. I also liked the million hands attacking his arm. I thought that was cool. You love a baby hand though. Sure. That's a thing that gets you. They're scary. You had this creepy little baby hand dolls that you used to fuck around with. They're finger puppets. They're not dolls. A puppet is a doll. A puppet is a doll. Don't at me. Eddie goes to the pharmacist. It's the same pharmacist. Apparently the inhaler is really just to keep him from vomiting because he's always gagging and then using it and I didn't think that's what they were for.
Starting point is 00:38:19 No. No. That's I wish I had one of you. I wouldn't throw up all the time. He's going to stay away from those high octane white claws. Oh God, never ever again. But before he goes there, we get Ben's flashback scene where he is in school, and Bev comes and sits down next to him and starts to smoke in a classroom. And it's the your hair is winter fire scene where her hair catches on fire and she's running after him screaming your hair is winter fire. And it's the worst thing I've ever seen in my life.
Starting point is 00:38:54 My one note on that? Ben's flashback is silly. It's very silly. Your hair is winter fire! All right. Come on on movie. And they have the Kiss Me Fat Boy line, but it's like so much less of anything when it's delivered by someone who's not Tim Curry.
Starting point is 00:39:11 For sure. For sure. Kiss me, fat boy. It almost should have been left out of the movie. It should have been because no one can do it. It's like the catchphrase from that movie. Oh, Tim Curry, You're the best. So, Eddie goes into the basement, sees his mom in the basement, who he had mentioned died of cancer.
Starting point is 00:39:30 Yes. And she is strafed up and the leper is trying to put its tongue down her throat. I think so? Yeah. He's on a chain. Under a sheet. Yeah, just to be spooky, I guess. Right up leaves his mom to get licked though. He does. He just gives up on her. And gets covered in some kind of goo from a hose.
Starting point is 00:39:50 Well, Angel of the Morning plays. Why? I don't know. Okay. All right. It's funny. It's funny, but I didn't know this was going to be a comedy. Uh-huh. And then we see... But then my favorite, this is my favorite part of the movie, which is actually very funny, when he is barf, has barf all over him and he runs up out of the basement and he goes to go out the door,
Starting point is 00:40:13 he can't get it open, and the bully girl is there as an adult, and she's like, push, don't pool you moron, and he's like, hey, there it is. I laughed at that. It was very funny. I like that the future character got a cameo in this movie. Like just to make her show up. She was also very well cast as the girl from the previous movie. 100% yeah. You're basically the bif to his mfly.
Starting point is 00:40:39 So we see Bill and Bev smooch for some reason. Yeah. I don't know why they have to smooch. I don't know either why. Either why? And then Bill's like, I gotta go save the kid at the carnival, the carnival kid. I gotta save him. And he runs out. No one goes with him.
Starting point is 00:40:55 No. Yeah. Tired of the shit. Let him go on his today. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Because Henry shows up at the hotel or the hotel where they're all staying. Yes, cuts Eddie's face, stabs him in the face. And then Eddie stabs Bower through the shower girton, which I really appreciated. And says you should really cut that fucking mullet. It's been like 30 years, man, which is also very funny.
Starting point is 00:41:18 thu nothing to do as Detective Nash in Prom-Night 2008. Yeah. He's very funny in everything else I've seen him in as well. He's got really good comedic timing. Good. Even though he's in like the wire and Generation Kill, which are not funny things, but he's very funny in them. So yeah, Eddie, so they have to fix Eddie up now because apparently Bev is a surgeon? I don't know. Well she makes clothing so I guess that's kind of the same thing. Sure, sure, clothes surgeon. And Bill goes into the clown like mirror maze following the little kid. I went into a hall of mirrors in Virginia Beach, rural drunk. Oh no, don't do that. Very upsetting very upsetting. First of all, I look like a wild animal.
Starting point is 00:42:05 I remember going into one of those when I was a kid, ended up being like extremely disconcerting. I love the fake me out wheel things that you have to walk through. Have you ever done one of those? What do you mean? Like, when he was walking in, there was like the stripes thing that like is rotating that he's trying to walk on. Oh like the walls are spinning but the street isn't. Yeah there's one of those in Noah's Ark at Kennywood. Oh okay. Yeah. There's one in the House of Frankenstein which I always talk about and like I do love it. And it's a and it's like fantastically disconcerting and I throwing. And it's like and it's like and it's like and it's like and it's like and it's like it's like it's like it's like it's like it's like it's like it's like it's like it's like it's like th. And it's like th. And it's like th. It's like like th. It's like fantastic. It's like fantastic. It's like fantastic. It's like fantastic. It's like fantastic. It's like fantastic. It's like fantastic. It's like fantastic. It's like fantastic. It's like fantastic. It's like fantastic. It's like fantastic. It's like fantastic. It's like fantastic. It's like fantastic. It's like fantastic. It's like fantastic. It's like fantastic. It's like fantastic. It's like fantastic. It's like fantastic. It's like fantastic. It's like fantastic. It's like fantastic. It's like. It's like. It's like. It's like. It's like. It's like. It's like. It's like. It's like. It's like. It's like. It's like. It's like fantastic. It's like. It's like fantastic. It's like. It's like. It's like. It's like. It's like. It's like. It's like. It's like. It's like. It's like in there even though you know you're not moving? Yeah, yeah, it's insane.
Starting point is 00:42:46 It just fucks with your like equilibrium somehow. It's really neat. But yeah, so Bill sees Pennywise eat the kid in front of them. Yeah, well there's this the scene where Bill is on one side of the glass, and Pennywise is on the kid is basically on a different piece of glass. And the child is in the middle. And this poor kid is watching both a crazy clown and a crazy man try to break the glass. Pennywise is just like, to use his face. Bending over like 90 degrees backwards and whipping his face into the glass.
Starting point is 00:43:16 And I thought this was good spookery. Yeah, I liked it. introducing the scene and it's just him dragging his tongue up the glass. Why? And it's like comedically long tongue. It looks like this. Did you forget I had a giant tongue? I have a note here that says Mortal Kombat didn't come out until 1993, so I guess Rob was mad about that being somewhere too. I meant a check but I didn't because I didn't care if the album that the kid was wearing the anthrax t-shirt for in the last movie was already up but I was like who gives a shit it's fine. Yeah it's fine you get
Starting point is 00:43:54 the point. Yeah the gist is there. We're all fine move along yeah who cares about mortal combat. They go back to the Neibold house? Yeah. Because, oh wait, I'm jumping ahead. So, people try to save the kid doesn't... They kill Henry Bowers, right? They kill Bowers, yes. I would have liked a little more Henry Bowers, I got to say. He was cool. Yeah. Yeah. I mean, I know that's his story in this, but I feel like I just could have gotten more. Like I remember, one thing I do remember from the book is like him, there's like protracted scenes of him being institutionalized and like just singing doors to himself. Sounds very on brand for Stephen King. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:44:41 Yeah. Does anyone like the doors? I guess a lot of people do, huh? Probably the doors, yeah. I hate the doors. I don't know why, I just do. I feel like every time I hear that song, this is the end. Yeah. At the beginning, I'm like, oh yeah, it's the doors. Yeah, it's the doors. Yeah. It's a bit like crazy train. No, I get pumped for crazy train. You the train train train thrain. You th thrain. You th th th th th th thin thin. thin. th. thin. th. th. thin. th. th. th. th. th. th. I th. I th. I th. I that that that th. I th. I th. I th. I just th. I just the the the th. I just the the th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I the. I the. I the. I the. I thea. I thea. I thea. I the. I the. I the. I the. I the yeah, the intro and then it kicks in and you're like, fuck off, dude. This is wicked good guitar licks. Yeah, until they aren't. Boom. Boom.
Starting point is 00:45:14 Hi, hi. Hi. Yeah. It's like it makes you want to go play basketball. Um. Yeah. So, uh, and then Richie hits Bowers in the head and kills him. That's how they kill.
Starting point is 00:45:29 And Bill's gonna go fight the house alone now. He's like, no, no. Like, don't be a hero, Bill. And Richie makes the long overdue joke and then vomits, and I was like, oh, I bet Alan's so mad. Yeah, I just didn't need to see it. It was gray. Why was it gray? Yeah, I don't think I've ever barf gray. Yeah, no. What do you drink or eating to make it gray? I don't think anything. Yeah, yeah. Maybe charcoal. Um, so they go to the house. 27 years later, house house still stands. I find this inexplicable. No development has happened in Derry.
Starting point is 00:46:06 I mean, who's moving to Derry? Or slumlord laws, you know? That's a blight. But they all, they arrive at the house and you're like, wait, did they all get their tokens? It's been two hours. Yeah, everybody got the think so at the time, did you? No, I did not, absolutely not. I still don't know what Ben's is. He threw something in there and I have no idea what it is. I'm looking.
Starting point is 00:46:28 Even Wikipedia doesn't know. Ben Stokin, it doesn't matter. Yeah. So they find Stan's head in the fridge. Yeah. It like rolls out of the thing happens when it grows spider legs and Rishi says you gotta be fucking kidding me. I liked it. I was like really all right all right movie. Yeah I like it. You just want to hold spart on that one I like it.
Starting point is 00:46:54 I do like the sort of spider legs with people hands with the heads the spider's body being a head I think this was great just like skittering away down the hallway. You're giving me creepy head or creepy spider the the the head and the the the the the the the the the the the the th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. the. the. th. th. the. the. the. the. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. thi thi thi thi thi thi thi the. thi thi thi thi thi thi thi the. thi thi thi thi thi the., just like skittering away down the hallway. You're giving me creepy head, or creepy spider, decapitated head, and baby hands? I'm on board for all of that. Yeah. And it was like cracking wise with them too and like run around. But that the booby lady just shows up and goes up and goes to time to, you're like, wait. Wait! I love that she's just in his like quiver of fun gimmicks to do. I got this big titty-swigging lady. You're gonna love her.
Starting point is 00:47:29 Like Bill Scarsgard hardly appears in this movie. Yeah, for sure. Which I think is a loss. I think it's worse that he's just all all of these like dumb characters. And that whole end battle he's not there. Yeah. It's very bizarre. It's just felt like they kept they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they kept like they kept like they kept like they kept like they kept like they kept like they kept they kept they kept they kept they kept they kept they kept they kept they kept they kept they kept they they kept they kept they kept they kept looking thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi ti ti ti ti ti ti thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi th, he's not there. Yeah. Yeah. It's very bizarre. I just felt like they kept looking at the object too, and having all these hieroglyphics on it. There were just more than could possibly fit on the outside of it. Sure. Like, were they being dry erased and redrawn?
Starting point is 00:47:55 I don't think so. At this point, I paused it to go to the bathroom bathroom bathroom bathroom bathroom bathroom bathroom bathroom bathroom bathroom bathroom bathroom bathroom bathroom bathroom bathroom bathroom bathroom bathroom the bathroom and wrote, why, why is there still 40 minutes? Oh, this is definitely every time you pause that there's an hour left. Yeah, except sometimes it's more. Yeah. I took two breaks, two intermissions. How long were those breaks? Like 10, 15. Okay.
Starting point is 00:48:14 Yeah. Go to the bathroom, get a little snack. Yeah. Take your contacts out. Yeah, I think I took a Klondike break around this point. Ooh. Yeah, if you're listening out there and you eat the dairy to yourself a favor, you're a Klondike bar. They're goddamn delicious. I'm gonna Klondike in forever. Yeah, they're really good.
Starting point is 00:48:33 Not the ones with the nuts, though. No, no, you could get do you like? You look disappointed. They have like, it's like a very weird vanilla ice cream that I really like in them. It's like a only get in that Klondike bar. You can't buy a Klondike everywhere. Really? Yeah, yeah, they're in anywhere that's got like ice creams. All right, I'll stop at the Sunoco on the way home. Eat it in the car before you get home. You think that's a joke? It's not. Sitting alone in my car in the dark eating a Klondike.
Starting point is 00:49:10 Listen to the cure. Actually, this is sounding wonderful. You really kid me, Bobbert? So all the people are chanting, turn light into dark. And I don't know why? Because they're the dead lights and you got to turn them dark. All right. Yeah, the aliens.
Starting point is 00:49:28 That's, that's, okay. It's a giant red balloon. It's also a shitty chant. Because Mike's doing it in like some, in like an indigenous language, but the rest them, then just like turn light into dark, dark, dark, dark, dark, the light, the light, and the light, and the light, and the light, and the light, and the light, and the light, and the light, and the light, and the light, and the light, and the light, and the light, and the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the, the, the the the the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the aliens, the, the, the, the aliens............ Yeah, the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the th, and th, and th, thi, thi, thi, thi a tha' a tha' a tha' a thia' aliens, the the a the aliens, the aliens.a' aliens. thia, the aliens. And, thi of them, they're just like, turn light into dark, turn light into dark, dark, dark, dark, dark. But not nearly as melodic as that, and not in the same key. It's not hard to chant. Crowds do it everywhere. And the guy playing bandage was like, ah!
Starting point is 00:49:58 Oh, right, because he's gotten cut up, right? Yeah, he's gotten, uh, welcome home or something carved into his tum-tum. He just, he's just like screaming like, I'm too ripped! Like, they only did that so they could show his tum-tum. This is getting in the way of me doing squads. He's, hey, you guys are the proportions of an action figure. He doesn't look like a person. For sure. Yeah. So, I like the set that they're in with like the Meteor Strike like splashouts that are everywhere. Did not occur to me that it was a meteor strike, but I liked it anyway. It's just very like... He's smart and cool like that.
Starting point is 00:50:39 It's just a very, I almost said cinematic, but it's just very like... It's provocative. Yeah, and it feels very very like like very like like very like like old provocative yeah and it feels very like old-school Hollywood like adventure definitely like built on a sound stage yeah yeah yeah so when we see the like dead lights coming down as they're chanting from the space vagina that's above them I really had no idea what that was it's's so weird. I really don't know. I genuinely don't know. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:51:08 So they get the balloon... Oh, I'm sorry. Gohan, please. They get the lights into the bucket. The bucket fills up with a giant balloon that becomes an even gianer balloon. Yeah. That explodes. And then they all go off on their own little adventures again?
Starting point is 00:51:25 Well, they didn't, it turns out that they didn't need the tokens after all. The ritual was actually not what they needed to do. Right. It wasn't actually successful. The whole movie is them getting the tokens. So at some point they yelled, you lied to us again? I think they felt like that he they they they they they they they they their they're they're they're their they're their they're they're their they're their. they're they're their. they're their. they're they're they're their. they're they're thi. they're. they're they're they're. they're. they're. they're. they're. they're. they're. they're. they're. they're. they're. they're. they're. they're. they're. they're. they're. they're. they're. they're. they're. they're. they're. they're. they. they. they. they. they. they. they. they're. they. they're they're they're t. t. too. toge. toge. toge. toge. toge. toge. toge. to. to. toe. they they're they're they they're they they felt like that he lied by omission by not telling them that they had fought a clown when they were kids. Oh, I see.
Starting point is 00:51:47 That was the impression I got. Because they all seemed very upset that he had brought them back under like false pretenses. But they really didn't, they didn't remember. It's their own stupid brains. You know you can't say what you said without me getting a mighty Boston. to song song song song song song song song song song song song song song song song song song. that that that's. that's. that's. that's. that's. that's. that's. that's. that's. that's. that's. that's. that's. that's. that's. that's. that's that's that's. that's. that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's. that's. that's. that's. that's. that's. that's. that's. that's. that's. that's. that's. that's. that was. that was. that was. that was. the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the their their the the the the the the the the the impression. the the the the the the impression. th. th. thi. th. thi. th. th impression that I get... Mmm-mm-mm-mm-mm. Uh-huh. Bup-up-bub. So there's a giant spider pennywise that looks like it's wearing a dog diaper with a huge load in it. Yeah. But there's all kinds of things happening. Like, Bill is swimming and he's coming up to the surface and hitting the ceiling, which is a fucking nightmare scenario.
Starting point is 00:52:26 Yeah, for sure. That was so scary. Then they like open a door and find the lower half of poor Betty, a callback to the first movie. And then they opened another door and it's a Pomeranian, which was a joke from earlier. Yeah, that becomes a giant monster. Yeah. T were like, oh my god, that's that's that's. that's. that's. that's. that's. that's. that's. that's. th. th. th. th. th. th. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. th. th. thi. thi. th. th. th. th. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. th. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. th. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. th. Yeah. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th cute. Which was funny, like the two of them worked really well together. It really did. It was really funny. Was this movie a comedy?
Starting point is 00:52:50 I just was not expecting it. But I also like, so there's the reveal at the end that Richie had been in love with Eddie. And the fact that they like, were always like shitting on each other and yelling, fuck you across the tap, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, we're always like, shiting on each other back and forth and yelling, fuck you across the table at each other, like, it was just this like, tension between the two of them. And it was really sweet. And so I like that they, the actors actually had that kind of like camaraderie while they were doing. They were fun to watch together for sure.
Starting point is 00:53:19 Yeah, yeah. I know your moves, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, th. th. th. th. th. the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, their, their, their, th. And, th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. the. toge, toge, te, te, te, te, th. th. th. th. th. was a line from that scene. So then we have to watch a scene of young Bill and dead Georgie again. And I just feel like don't make me watch the scene again. I've been watching this movie for a really long time, you know? No repeats. We don't hit the verse again. This movie really pulls a lot from the previous movie in that sort of Back to the Future too way, since you're talking about Back to the Su. And I really don't like that. I saw that one already. What annoyed me is that I think the mini-series works
Starting point is 00:53:56 and the book works because they flop back and forth through time. So you're constantly getting this like time shift in the story. And this movie does that, but the first one didn't. You're right, there's no, the adults are not in the first movie. At all. It's just the kids. Yeah, that's true. And I'm like, well, why are we, this should just be the adults? I don't need to see the teens again because I've been with them for an entire day. And I saw that movie. Yeah, yeah. Yeah. And it's just like, how many times do I have to watch Bill kill Georgie? Twice, apparently. Yeah, for sure. But Georgie's also screaming in his face.
Starting point is 00:54:33 Because we learned in this that Bill wasn't actually that sick. He just didn't feel like playing with Georgie's like, you lied and I died. You lied and I died. And then Georgie just goes, lied and died, lied and died, which I thought was so fucking funny. Unintentionally so, I think. I know you love chanting. I do love chanting, but that little boy just screaming,
Starting point is 00:54:59 lied and died is... It's a bridge too far. That was, it was, it was, it was, it was, it was, it was, it was, it was, it was tha, it was tha, it was too far. It was very silly. Yeah. And then like James McAvoy is like to young Billy is like, you know, it's actually not your fault. Everything's fine. It's okay to let you lied. Yeah, you just didn't want to play with your brother. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:55:15 Yeah. I don't know. Yeah. Oh, God, don't say the poem one more time is the note that I have. They do. They say it one more time and then they say it another time. And then they make, they realize that they have to belittle penny-wise. Wait, hold on. Before they get there, Bev is drowning in like a pool of mud. A mud? A puddle of mud. A puddle of mud. A puddle of mud. Like the jeans. Yeah. Can you name a puddle of mud song? Quick go.
Starting point is 00:55:48 No, mud vein? I don't know. That's not it. She pulls the super buff guy out with one arm because she is also incredibly buff. Yeah. Yeah. Meanwhile they're just saying the poem to each other. Yeah. And I was like don't ever say it again. January embers. Oh, my heart burns there too. Fine, just don't say it again. Like I bet when Stephen King wrote that, he was like, oh, fuck, that's good. Did a victory lap around his desk? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:56:17 But then just, this really drove at home. Yeah. How did you feel when Eddie gets stabbed with the heart and dies? It was his, this is battery acid you slime moment, you know, when he goes up and sort of faces the clown one on one, which is like sort of less meaningful on this one because he's not a meek and timid character, whereas in the first one it was like his big moment, where's this he just kind of does it? In this movie he's just put upon by heavy-set women. Yeah. Well done movie. Yeah. So yeah he dies, that's sad.
Starting point is 00:56:51 Yeah. And then, so they have to belittle pennywives. I missed all of this because I was trying to remember what his detective name was in prom night and I had to go back and look it up. So I missed this and I'm sorry the movie was just too long to rewind. So something about the shape they inhabit or something, I don't know. Yeah, they just, they had to like belittle him and tell him that he wasn't as cool as he thought he was basically. It reminded me of that scene in Ghostbusts too when Sigourney Weaver asks Bill if he the baby the baby th, th and he th and he th and he th and he th and he th they, and he they, and he they, and he was like they, and he was th, and he was to thia to thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, the shape the shape th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, thi. thi. thi. I thi. So, thi. So, thi, thi, thi, thi, that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that the thi thi thi thi to put the baby down and he's like, you're short and you're weird looking. It just like felt like very much like that to me. Like the moral of the stories, we're all insecure and we all have feelings. Yeah, yeah, yeah, and love conquers all. And their big bust against him is you're a clown.
Starting point is 00:57:37 Yeah, you're a clown. He keeps going, I am the eater of worlds. Which must be why I wrote, I am the eater of Mochi, because I was eating mochi. I'm like they were both having ice cream during this movie. Yeah, oh you had ice cream too? Oh yeah, Klondike. Klondike, oh yeah. And then they... You're just chanting, clown, clown, clown.
Starting point is 00:57:56 And he turns into a clown baby first with his little clown baby th cl cl cl rip out. And smush. Rob was so desperate for them to eat it. They mush it. They just mush it. And can I point out something? That's the better ending they came up with. Yeah, it is. It is a better ending than the book. Really? No shit. Okay. And then the house carries itself, turns into the carry house house, it just all crumbles it on itself. Yeah, that's right, that's right, yep.
Starting point is 00:58:31 Better get the dairy zoning board out there because like who owns the house next door? There must not be an HOA in this neighborhood. And then there's a, they go back to the quarry, I don't know why I say query. Quarry. They go swimming, post-murder swimming. And Richie's having a real tough time with Eddie's death. And you're like, earlier in the movie, we've seen Richie as the child carving R plus something into a park bench or something. Into the bridge. Okay.
Starting point is 00:59:00 We don't see what the reveal is. But now you're just like, can we just do this this thistaking forever just do the reveal we know what it is just show it to me yeah yeah and then Bev's like kissing Ben underwater and the dirty dirty water and it's also like I feel like this is not romantic let me go you're drowning me I'm so worn up I'm so worn up I'm holding your face underwater. Sirs? And then their scars are gone. Nothing lasts forever except for this movie. They tell each other that they love each other, which I really appreciate it. And then Missy turns me and goes, oh it's you, you're always telling your friends, you love them. You too. I love me to love me. Oh, I love you too. I want want to my my my my friends my friends my friends my friends my friends my friends my friends my friends my friends my friends. And to. And to find my friends my friends. And the friends. And th th th th th the friends. And th the th th the th th the the the the th their their their their their their their their their their their. And their. And their. And their. And their. And their. And their. And their. And their. And their. And then. And then. And then. And then. And then. And then. And then. And then. And then. And their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their th. And thi. And thi. And then thi. And then thi thi thi their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their them. You do tell me you love me a lot and I really appreciate it. I do I love my friends. I love you. I love you. I want to find friends to know
Starting point is 00:59:47 that I love them. That's so nice. She wasn't busing my chop. She was just. Yeah, she has always busting my chops. I deserve it. I torture her. I torture her. I tortu her. I the adults forget again? I think they forget about again, but in this one, we're told that they have more to remember than to forget, which is very like, oh, Ben's page was the signed yearbook, the yearbook page. That's what it was. You're right. You're right. You're right. to remember theat. And the closing shot of like Bill and Ben and Beverly on a yacht.
Starting point is 01:00:27 A yacht with a German Shepherd? What can you bring a German Shepherd on a yacht? I don't think he would like it. Like this is a be yourself movie because the end of it is just a sort of monologue about like being true to yourself and being who you are and being a loser. And it's just such a strange shift from being a scary movie to a comedy to like a comedy to like to like to like to like to like to like to like to like to like to like to like to like to like to like to like to like to like to like to like a like a like a like a, like a, like a, like a, like a, like a, like a, like a the like a the like a the like a the like a the like a the like a the like a the like a the like a the like a the like a the like a the like a the like a the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the to like a to like to like to like to like a to like a to like a to like a to like a to like a to like a to like a the the the the the the the the the the the the thy the the the the.oooat.oat.a thea theat.y.a thea theat the. thea the the the the and a the the the and a the and being who you are and being a loser and it's just such a strange shift from being a scary movie to a comedy to like a warm-blooded soulful yeah I don't know like be yourself kind of thing Katie I'm exhausted I'm God we're an hour and three minutes into this Jesus Christ let's rate
Starting point is 01:01:04 this thing go I think that if someone could do the world of service and edit these two movies and these two movies and thee to to to to to to to to to to to to the movie th th th th th th th th th th the movie th th th th thee thee the movie the movie thee the movie thee thee to to to the comedy to to to the the comedy the comedy to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to comedy comedy the comedy the comedy the comedy the comedy comedy comedy comedy comedy comedy comedy comedy comedy comedy comedy the comedy the comedy the comedy the comedy the comedy the comedy the movie movie movie movie movie movie movie movie movie movie movie movie movie movie the movie movie the movie the movie the movie th the movie thi thi the movie movie movie the movie the movie thi the movie movie movie movie movie movie movie movie tho the movie movie movie movie movie movie movie movie movie movie tho. I think that if someone could do the world of service and edit these two movies into one movie, that's maybe like three hours long and that's it and you're done. You mean the mini-series? Three hours long and you're out? is the first one. Absolutely. I'm going to give the second one a six. I'm giving it a five, one below again. It's just too much. It's too much movie. Like here's my problem. I have a small child. I put her to bed at eight. I have a full-time job. I have to go to bed by like 11. That's literally every moment from the time I put her down till I have to go to bed. It's my entire my entire my my entire my my entire my my entire my my entire my my entire my my entire my my entire my my my my my my my my my my my my my to my entire to my entire to my entire to my entire to my entire to my entire to my entire to my entire to my entire night. Yeah, you get what, I think there's still enough time for people to vote, well, not by this time, this comes out, never mind. We can just do Rocky 4. Although they do pay money to vote. They do pay money to vote.
Starting point is 01:02:09 Then they can just yell election fraud and everything will go to shit, you know? I know. I know, what's not even athe link tree that'll give you all the links to all of our stuff. There's a good Halloween playlist on there if you want to check out the Halloween playlist that I made.
