I walked in this movie a little pissed off. Can't tell you why? Because Google told me it was an hour and 20 minutes long. And I thought, oh no. And I thought, oh, we're going to get in and get out? I'm so sorry. No. It's almost two fucking hours. I know. I thought about that when I picked it and I was like, but it's two hours of pure joy. It does truck along at a

pace. There's no downtime in this movie. No, it really isn't. As soon as Daria Nickelode's name appeared in the opening credits I was like, Betcha gets murdered. Oh yeah. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah. Or might be on the front of an ambassador from Switzerland's car.

That's set in Switzerland. It's like those people that have to fly an American Fly because sometimes they forget what country they're in.

Even the knocking is badly done. Dialogue. Mark that on your card. A pair of scissors as a pair of violent weapon. Beautifully shot. Gorgeous moving. Yeah. Another staple of Dario Argento at this point in time. Women's faces going through glass. Oh my god, two-time. Two-time. Two-time award winner.

Michaela Suave is in this movie. Is he? He is Kurt Giger's assistant in the first scene you see with the two cops and Donald Pleasant, McKelliswave is one of them. I missed him totally. Yeah, yeah. God bless. That's a line. So this movie starts off in the most Swiss road that has ever existed. It's in the fucking Alps. It is so Alpine as fuck. Yeah. That's AA. It doesn't matter. A. A. A. A. A. Yeah, we'll get there. So she is, uh, a, uh, Fior Argento is going up to this house that's out in the middle of nowhere and she's like, hello? And like opening doors and just walking into a fucking house. Please, I'm a foreigner and I'm lost. Which is how I enter all houses now. And I am now, yeah. And I am now, yeah. It's what I should have yelled when I came over to your house recently and you guys were like in the kitchen I was like hello I'm a foreigner I'm lost. And we see that there is someone or something

pulling on chains that are like screwed into the wall. And who is it? We never, is it the child? Yeah, it's the child. Okay, he's a very strong. He's very strong. Like in the devil within her? You're the devil inside her, whatever it was called, this very strong baby.

I think about very strong baby almost every day. That movie has imprinted on my soul. Why is he so strong? Just a baby. Well, wasn't it a similar situation? Wasn't she like assaulted by somebody and that's how she got? She was cursed. Yeah, oh that's right she was cursed.

So it wasn't as bad as this movie where the mother of the weird child in this movie was assaulted and that's what made the baby. What made him weird, I guess? Dario. So the person with the chains breaks out of the plaster that the chain is screwed into very easily. You have to be able to anchor chains if you're going to tie someone up. You're a stud finder. You might would just tapapap. And immediately runs out and starts strangling the foreigner who's lost. And then stabs her in the hand with scissors.

Love stabbing people with scissors. Who doesn't? I mean. She takes off running into this weird cave system that gets to a waterfall. I do not think I'd run into the cave system that are being chased, but okay. And she gets stabbed again in the tum-tum and then luckily there's a window. Fortunately for Dario. This is where she gets stabbed and her head goes through her window. Dario's back baby. Hey everybody, Dario's here in the house. And then her head is cut off and thrown into the flowing water. I do like it going over the waterfall.

I think that's a nice touch. And then somebody drags her body away. And my next note just says, and now there's a monkey? Fucking Inga. I love her so much. Is that her name? Yeah, the bugs in this scene are so loud. I could not understand what Donald Pleasance was saying. And I want to be like, it's not because he was like falling down drunk. It's because the bugs are so loud, but I think it's also because he's falling drunk. Yeah, yeah, yeah.

I feel like he wasn't meant to be in a wheelchair and he was like, I'm fucking sitting so. Speaking of gross things all over things, uh, Donald Pleasant just has this gross head under a tarp. Yeah. It's just under a tarp, like, on his desk. But that's how we learn that it's been eight months since Vera was murdered. I would think after eight months something would be skeletonized, but I guess not.

on Jennifer Conley's hand. She's like, oh what's up a bee? Let me pet it. She's a stroking a bee. Tarry and Nickelodeon is just like, ah! Straight up that's how I behave about bees too. And the guy driving the car just starts swerving. He just has to look at the bee. He has to be turned around and look at the bee. And then she comes and takes her Paul Corvino poster away. Yeah, that's right. It's her dad. She has a poster of her dad. Imagine putting a post-y- No! I hate my father! Ha ha ha! I do, you know what's a thing I do love to do is tell people their dads are hot though. Because her roommate is hitting that real hard. She's like, I'd love to get in bed with your father. I'm Sophie the French girl. Do you know, do you know Paul Corvino? Have you gone to bed with him?

He's my father? You didn't answer my question. Yeah. And then we hear the story about her mom such a bitch. I bet you didn't hear this from the news. Oh my god. This movie is so fucking wild. It's just, I feel like Dario Argento's version of writing a movie is just being like, here are my ideas, write them down. And someone writes them down, he's like, that's a movie. That's the dialogue, go.

I guess they're in the mountains, but still. Yeah. I mean, everyone seems miserable whenever they're outdoors. So we see it's real windy and then there's a girl, oh Jennifer Conley goes asleep and then in her dream we see that there's a girl running with Iron Baden playing really loud. Really really loud. Over just like a girl going into a building and like walking around with whinananananan it's just going over to it. It is so misplaced. I love it so much. It's not going quick. It needs to be a car chase for that song. Sure, yeah, or falling down a hill or something where there's a lot of

kinetic energy being spent. Velocity to it. Later on when Donald Pleasants is being taken out of the house on a stretcher and Motorhead is playing at 20, the volume is so loud. It was like blown out in the movie. There's a point where she's chasing a firefly. And when I say chasing, I mean walking calmly with her hands in front of her, and it's just fucking whaling. It's insane. Oh, that's what it's like the weird prog rock, like, I think that's the Bill Wyman from the Rolling Stone song. I thought it was a Claudio C. Manetti, according to my phone. Of the, when I ask Google, what is this song? Of your Goblin fame, yeah, that probably is him. Yeah.
