Werewolf Ambulance: A Horror Movie Comedy Podcast - Episode 382- Final Destination 3 (2006)

Episode Date: June 6, 2022

In this week's episode, we couldn't bring ourselves to watch the old "Firestarter" after the new one was so butt, so we decided to watch...well, something else that's a little bit butt. And a little b...it not butt! It's the third entry into the "Final Destination" franchise and if you're wondering if we've covered the second one, the answer is no, of course not. Special topics for your consideration include: the return of elderly teenagers, tanning technology that is absolutely baffling, various facts about various presidents, conspiracy theories, and the fact that death has gotta learn to work smarter, not harder. C'mon fuckin guy. Want more of the "Final Destination" franchise? We covered the original in Episode 99. More Mary Elizabeth Winstead? Catch her in Episode 303- "Deathproof." Also this movie felt very much like it should have starred Seth Green and it decidedly did not, so go revisit his horror oeuvre in Episode 61- "Krampus," Episode 97- "IT" (the miniseries), and Episode 316- "Idle Hands" and then treat yourself to his finest role in Episode 269- "Can't Hardly Wait." Starting point is 00:00:00 Alan, can I please get a breaking news update, but make it exuberant. Yeah. Alan, can I please get a breaking news update, but make it exuberant? Yeah. But did it, da da da, da, da, da, da, da, da, da, da, da, da, da! Oh! One, I fucking loved that. Two, I have the best news ever.
Starting point is 00:00:29 What that? The Bloomfield Pool is filling up as we speak. What the shit? You know what that means? Uh, Savini watch? Uh, Seveen watch? 202 is in full fucking effect? After two years of sitting dormant, empty, and sad and doing this half-apped Savini
Starting point is 00:00:46 watch of like, oh I saw him on his porch, you know, he's hanging up his Christmas light, Louis hasn't shuffled his sidewalk. Until I'm a mature safe, fine ding-toms. He got a package today, which he did, because I saw it when I came here. We're going back for the real thing. Tom Savini's tan thighs. I can't I I I I I I I I I thi. I thi. I thi. I thi. I thi. I can't wait to awkwardly sit on that very slopy hill that sits in the pool. And watch for horror legend, and my neighbor and yours but mostly mine, Tom Savini, roll up, roll up because no one loves the pool as much as he does except maybe me. Yeah, he loves it. Yeah, and you know he's peeing in that pool. I mean it's like really like, you know, sitting mean, it's like really like, you know, sitting in a toilet with all your neighbors, isn't it? A community pool? I won't name them, but we got an Instagram message from a listener that told us sneaky ways that a swim team used to pee in the pool, the filter. What? How? Like they would just sit on the side of the pool and be in the filter. It's into the filter. Yeah. Yeah. That way you're
Starting point is 00:01:49 not really you're not endangering anyone with urine, you get to go on straight into the filter. I mean I maintained the peeing in the pool. I know you do. I agree. No, swim away real fast. I mean it was in a private home pool by myself and was like, no, it happened and finally happened! The red stuff that they've been threatening me with. No, no, you're just old man to take a lot of vitamins. Well I'm glad you're taking your vitamins. I'm trying to stay healthy. As healthy as a kid, right? I mean I don't take vitamins.
Starting point is 00:02:27 It seems like a lot of work to take vitamins. I just take a D and a B12. D helps a ton. I highly recommend especially living in Greg, great, great, great, great Pittsburgh. Having never seen any of this series, I assume that all of them are just the first movie again. You've seen the first one though. Yeah, yeah, I mean other than the first one, I'm sorry, yes, I misspoke. I thought maybe it was so unmemorable it was just gone for you. Can I give a shout out to a Twitterer? Okay. Starting point is 00:03:29 If you took a shot every time the main characters get sprayed with blood of people, killed right in front of them, you'd be dead from alcohol poisoning. That actually sounds like a better way to spend an hour and a half being dead of alcohol poisoning. Oh man. Frankie cheeks, you know what I'm saying? Oh God, Frankie Cheeks is straight out of the 1980s, but it's 2006, which this movie does not look like 2006 at all. I was going to add, like, the fashion seems so antiquated for 2000. It feels like a 90s movie.
Starting point is 00:04:03 It really does, or at least, like the very turn of the century. And it's also another film that is struggling to make people that are much older than high school age look like they're in high school by not struggling at all. By just making it be. Yeah, just put a letterman jacket on and he'll look 15. Fifteen. I have to say these two boys that were introduced to are fucking indistinguishable from each other. I know I say this all the time, but at this time I really mean it, because sometimes I say it and I don't really mean it, they are the same person.
Starting point is 00:04:35 They both have the same kind of haircut, they have the sort of pinchy faces. They have the same coloring hair, eyes. I literally think one of them's wearing a jacket and the other isn't. And one of them is named Kevin and the other isn't. It's like white dudes. J-A-K-A-K-A-Jasin. Yeah. I thought you were spelling something. J-A-A-K-A-A-Ka-Jayson.
Starting point is 00:04:54 Yeah. Jacka-Jeason. Carnival shit, which I like yeah, but then it's not a creepy carnival. It's like just an amusement park There's like tarot cards and weird clowns and sort of like the Freak show vibe. Yeah, it's got like a traveling carnival vibe, but there's no way you could take a 200-foot tall roller coaster the steel coaster now, no no that is staying in Vancouver because everyone in this movie's Canadian. Oh man, Mary Elizabeth Winstead playing Wendy Christensen, her face is 87% her eyeballs. Yeah, this movie is written by the X-Files guys, James Wong and Darren Morgan. Felt very much like that. Directed by James Wong. Uh, it feels like an X-Files, I think I probably said this about the original too. Oh yeah, for sure.
Starting point is 00:05:49 That is like an X-Files episode gone way too long. Yeah, for sure. And the same, the opening credits gone for way too, like when it gets to like a pinball or whatever the fuck was happening, I was like, what is thi??........ th. th. the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, what, what, what, what, what, what, what, what, what, the f.. What, what, what, what, what, what, what, what, what, what, what, what, what, what, what, what, what, what, what, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, They're like, what else is at a carnival? We have so many actors, such as Texas Battle, who is the jock, the token joc guy, the black kid? Yeah, yeah. That's a hell of a name. I thought that can't be his real name. So I looked him up.
Starting point is 00:06:16 Texas Quincy Battle. That sucks. Or Counterpoint. It's kind of amazing. Just name your kid Alamo. You're never gonna forget his name. Not as a parent, I mean you. Look, did I name this one? Texas Battle. Texas Battle.
Starting point is 00:06:35 Hexus battle. Holy Ghost. I mean, there is an Extasia Sanders in this movie as well. Who the fuck is Astasia? That's Amber. Who the fuck is Extasia? That's Amber, the character of Amber. Who the fuck is Amber? If it's not Ashley or Ashley, I don't care. Ashley or Ashlyn?
Starting point is 00:06:52 No, I'm sorry, they're Ashley and Ashley. That's some respect for those women who had to have their boobs on the screen for so long. Just wiggling them. Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle, wiggle, wiggle, wiggle. Oh no, I thought you were going to go into that goddamn infectious TikTok song. I don't know what it is. I hear people say that, but I don't know what it means. You're the better for it. I have, can I tell you some, I haven't thi. I haven't really looked at tick-dock. Oh, I haven't's like, oh, I have a sweater, I have a salad, I have a vegan
Starting point is 00:07:26 baby and it's like, fuck you, you know, I don't. This baby is not made of meat. This movie does have Tony Topp even. Is he just the voice of that devil? He's the voice of the devil from the ride, yeah. And doesthe does he come back later is the voice of the, in the subway? Tony. I like that he got a paycheck. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:07:50 Bought some new hats. This, so this movie opens on four high school seniors. Mm-hmm. Seniors are, at a carnival slash amusement park. Yeah. They're on one of those rides that like shoots you up and then drops you down. I the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the subway. I. I the the the the the the the the the the subway. I the the the the the the the the the their their their they. I got. I got. I got. I got. I got. I got. I got. I got. I got. I got. I got. I got. I got. I got. I got. I got. I got. I got. I got. I got. I got. I I got. I I th. I I I th. I th. I I I the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the th. I'm. I'm. I'm. I'm. I'm. I'm. I'm. I'm. S. S-s. S-s. S. S. S. S. S. S. S. th. S. th. S. th. S. I. slash amusement park. Yeah. They're on one of those rides that like shoots you up and then drops you down. The slingshot is I know it. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:08:13 I don't know if you had a one of those when you were a kid or amusement parks. There might have been one at Kennywood, but it may have been called the slingshot now that I think about it. Yeah. I like like the scene the scene then then like the scene then like then like then like then like like like like like like like like like the scene then like like like like the scene. I like th. th. th. th. th. thi like th. th. th. th. th. th. thi. the scene the. thoom. thoom. I thoom. I thoom. I thoom. I thoom. the s s s s s s s s s s s s s s s s s s s s s s s s s s s s s s s s s s s s s s s s s s s s s s s s s s s s s s s s s s s s s s s s s s s s s s s s s s s a thi. I thi. I thi. I thi. I thi. I thi. I the. I the. I the. I the. I the. I the.a.a.a.a.a.a.a.a.a.a.a.a. I the. I the. I the. I thethat I think about it. Yeah. Yeah. I like the scene a lot because the two guys that are indistinguishable from one another go to fist bump, miss, do it again, miss, and they didn't fucking re-shoot it. They were like close enough. I thought that was a commentary. I don't know what. Yeah. I like that when Wendy takes a picture of the high dive, which I believe the slingshot is known as in this movie. The V is burnout, so it says high die. Oh, Wendy. Wendy?
Starting point is 00:08:53 Wendy? Why is this Wendy's fault? Somehow in this movie everything is Wendy's fault. Which I recall in the first movie, everything was Devanaw was fault too, which none of it was, and none of it was. No, mm-mm. I guess because this movie, like, the series, the antagonist is death. It's not like a person or, there's no one to be, there's no reason for like interpersonal arguing, so you have to blame someone. Oh for sure, and why not blame the person with second sight or whatever the fuck they have. Can we get death on the phone?
Starting point is 00:09:26 Because I want to mention to them that they often kill people via cardiac arrest and they don't need to constantly set up Rube Goldberg devices to kill people. This movie is a weird combination of Rube Goldberg devices to kill people and like like red herrings? Like the swords in the weight room that just keep rattling and then fall and to to them them them them them them them them them them them the to the to the to the to their their to their to their theirrings? Like the swords in the weight room that just keep rattling and then eventually fall and nothing happens? Well Katie we'll get to but something does happen from those. Okay. Remember low-rise jeans? I do. Aren't they back? I think so which is a fucking shame because no. They are back because I remember I saw the tops of someone's underwear poking out of their pants? the pants the other day? I was, I, I, aren, aren, aren, aren, aren, aren, aren, aren, aren, aren, aren, aren, aren, aren, aren, aren, aren, aren, aren, aren't, aren't, aren't, aren't? th, aren't, aren't, aren't, aren't, aren't, aren't, aren't, aren't, aren't, aren't, aren't, aren't, aren't, aren't, aren't, aren't, aren't, aren't, aren't, aren't, aren't, are th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, theeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee-thee, the, the, the, th so, which is a fucking shame because no. They are back because I remember I saw the tops of someone's underwear poking out of their pants.
Starting point is 00:10:07 The other day, it was like, ah, that's back. Was it a whale tail? Was it a thong? Or was it just a pair of an antit. Yeah, it was thong? Yeah, whale tale. Yeah, whale tale. butt hat, you know? Sure, sure. That's when you get a tattoo on your lower back. Just letting them know, you know, they might not know what a butt hat is. I always thought those songs would just be uncomfortable. It is uncomfortable. Yeah, never wore my one myself, but...
Starting point is 00:10:41 I can loan you one if you want to try it. Yeah, it's probably too late for you now. Yeah. Also, I don't want to loan it to you because I don't want it back. You don't want it back, no. Yeah, give me that anal floss and I'll give it back to what I'm done. Once it's been on your balls Oh I love a bidet. Me too, but I didn't read the instructions. Yeah. And it's a turn to the right does the back. Turn to the left. Turn to the left does the front. The front on me just meant that I had very
Starting point is 00:11:13 wet balls when I was done. I was like, oh my aunt has a separate bidet which I thu to it. theynton to thi. th. thooooooooooo. My tho. My tho. My tho. My tho. My tho. My tho. My tho. My the tho. My the tho. My the the to to to to to to to to to to to to to to the the to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to turn turn turn to turn the the the the the the the the the the to turn turn turn turn turn turn turn turn turn to to to to to to to to to to to to to too. Yeah, I mean, there's gotta be like, that just, poop ticulate would be an issue at that point. Yeah. I guess they just expect more clean poopers than it that I could offer them. Why, why, why, why, why, why you you you you you you you you you. I. I. I. Why you. Why you. Why you, why you, why you. Why they they they th you. I. I. I thi. I thi. I thi. I thi. I thi. I that, tho, that, I that, I that, I that, I that's, I that's, I that's, I that's. Yeah, I that's. Yeah, I that's. Yeah, I'd. Yeah, I'd. Yeah, I'd. Yeah, I'd. Yeah, I'd. Yeah, I'd. Yeah, I'd. Yeah. Yeah, I'd. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah, I'd. Yeah. Yeah. I, I, I'd th. Yeah. Yeah, I'd the the the th. I'd thi. I'd thi. Yeah, I'd that. I'd that's, I mean, I mean, I mean, I mean, I mean, I mean, I mean, I mean, I mean, I mean, I mean, I mean, I mean, I mean, I mean, I mean, I mean, I mean, I mean, I mean, I mean, exactly. Thank you for this icy light mango. Of course. Thank the listeners. Thanks, guys.
Starting point is 00:11:47 Apparently you bought this for me. Keeping us in icy light mangoes. Donating the food bags and keeping us an icy light mangoes. I mean, all good things. Yeah, yeah. So the carnival is fine, I guess. We have a conversation in which the other girl tells Wendy that she's gonna break up with her boyfriend. Sure. Which comes back because he says he was gonna propose. Yeah, and then nothing ever happens. No one ever says anything to him. Nothing. That feels so hack at this point like the woman who died was gonna break up with you, but you have to let them mourn and like or you tell them and then it's a whole thing and it's just like you just shrew horn that in here
Starting point is 00:12:28 why is that in here? Why bother? Let's just get to Ashley and Ashlyn or Ashlyn and Ashley? We just call them the Ashley's because I'm sure they're both named Ashley. I actually love them I think they're the best characters in this movie. They're the most, the ones I'd most want to hang out with. Oh really? Absolutely. You want to hang out with this morose, motherfucker over here? No, I want to hang out with the Ashleys. I want to go to 7-Eleven and I want to talk shit.
Starting point is 00:12:55 Get big-ass Jamie Kennedy that's in this movie was videotaping the Ashley's. Is that Frankie? Yes, Frankie Cheeks. Cheap-ass Jamie Kennedy is a great descriptor for him, but I called him Young Elon Musk. He's got more hair than a young Elon Musk. Yes. So just current a Elon Musk. I mean, come on, if you're the richest man in the world, like, why wouldn't you just give your, like, buy Fabio's hair and have it implanted in your head? Seriously, why do you have Kim Jong-un's hair? Because you're also a totalitarian. Fair. Oh, this is what I realize that Jason. This is the boyfriend.J.J.J.J.J. J. J. J. J. that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that that that that that that thi, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, th. th. th. th. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. th. th. th. th. th. th. from Tucker and Dale versus evil.
Starting point is 00:13:45 No, I'm sorry, which one is Jason? Jason is the boyfriend who dies. Okay. Yeah. Okay. All right, if you say so, Yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:13:55 He's so fucking generic. Yeah. Yeah. And so is the other guy. Like when she, I don't know if it's meant to be implied that they are like having a thing now after these deaths. Yeah, yeah. But it's like I could see how you would slot one in for the other. Hello, replacement boyfriend. Yes, Jason too.
Starting point is 00:14:12 Well, they look so like nondescript that for a second I was like, are these kids in Twilight? They seem like they could be siblings from Twilight? Absolutely. And her friend? Are they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they are not. Her friend, do you know what the friend's name is? Are we talking about Aaron? No, no. Carrie. Carrie is at this amusement park. Yeah. Dressed like she's going to a pickleball league luncheon at the yacht club. I don't understand of Carrie's vibe at all. What's a pickleball league? You know pickleball? It's like a thing the rich old ladies play. Okay, never heard of it? I believe you. Oh, Katie, you simply must pickleball. You know, I will check out the pickleball. Come to my granddaughter's Catiline and we'll
Starting point is 00:14:54 pickleball. Wendy talks about having deja vu for something that hasn't happened yet, which doesn't make any sense. Yeah, it sounds like something a high, high schooler would say. Exactly. A lot th. A th. A th. A th. A th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. thi. thi. thi. th. th. th. th. K. K. K. K. K. K. K. K. K. K. K. Oh, th. K. Oh, th. Oh, th. K. K. K. K. K. K. K. K. K. K. K. K. K. K. K. K. K. K. K. K. K. K. K. K. K. K. K. K. K. K. K. K. K. K. K. th. K. K. th. th. th. thi. K. K. K. I thi. I thi. I thi. I thi. I t. I tta. I ta. I ta. K. I t. K. K. K like something a high, high schooler would say. Exactly. A lot of the things that she and Jason 2, Kevin, is it okay if I call him Jason 2? Yeah, yeah. Do what you like? She and Jason 2 say to each other. Yeah. So we see a, uh, Texas battle knock the bell off of the strongman thing? it's like oh my god that bell's gonna kill somebody nothing nothing nothing just flies through the air I just want to be real clear that he is the only person of color in this movie well Tony Todd's voice okay he's wearing a football jersey in every scene and he's doing something athletic in almost all of them and during the roller coaster scene he's screaming just win baby new Why? Because you love sports? I
Starting point is 00:15:46 mean I like sports. And you are always telling me to just win. Okay fair. Before we start every podcast Katie makes me Neil. She says prayer about winning this game for our family and country. Right and I put my forehead on Alan's forehead and I grit my tooth and she she says, clear eyes, full hearts, can't lose. Just one baby! Yeah. And then I make him do the break. You know, it's pretty, I think it's good for us. Yeah, and then you whip me with a towel of my naked hyne, I hate it. Stop wearing my thongs and they won't have a naked hiny. I like like to to to th. I like to to to th. I like to th. I like th. I like th. I like th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. Stop th. Stop th. Stop thongs and they won't have a naked hyny. I like when the Ashley's say to Frankie, why are you still here? You graduated like two years ago.
Starting point is 00:16:29 I think they're very funny. Show me those sweet, sweet titties. Oh, cheap Jamie Kennedy, that's not gonna work. He's just like utterly gross. Yeah, like no redeeming characteristics. This movie falls into that thing of like, I don't care if these people die. I don't give a shit how they die.
Starting point is 00:16:50 And they die in fun ways, I'm like, this is great. Right. Like, which character do you want, do you relate to the most? Probably Wendy. You like Wendy? Yeah, I mean I got that second sight, so it's always been a problem for me. Sure, sure. You also have that sister who looks just like you. I do have that sister, and who is in, took me forever to figure out what I knew her from. I don't know her.
Starting point is 00:17:13 She is on Silicon Valley. Who is? Oh, yes, she's the movie, she like kind of changes her hair or something? And I was like, oh! She puts some bangs out of her eyes. Holy shit, you're the pretty lady. Yeah, she's the pretty lady. That's a funny show, but it really stressed me out. Yeah, for sure. And then at some point I just completely lost interest and stopped watching it. Yeah, it's the be like just warm blanket of. Father Brown mysteries. Yeah, yeah,
Starting point is 00:17:47 Father Brown. A Ted Lasso. That's a nice warm blanket of a TV show. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I just want people to be nice to each other. Is that too much to ask? Why do we watch so many crime dramas? I just started a one on Britbox called 15 days have you watched that? Yes. That's like the, is it Welsh? Yes. Yes, yes., yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, I I I I I I I I I I I I I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the, uh. the, uh. the, uh. the, uh. the, uh. the, uh. the, uh. the, uh. the, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, the, the, the, the, the, the the the the the the the the the the, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, th. I, called 15 days if you watch that? Yes, that's like the, is it Welsh? Yes. Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes. I just started it today.
Starting point is 00:18:10 Yeah. It's interesting. Okay. I'm intrigued. Yeah. It's intriguing. That's a good way to put it, for sure. We see the roller coaster, which is called like the devil's cinerator or something. It's got some ridiculous name.
Starting point is 00:18:30 We see through Wendy's eyes that it starts like falling apart. There's a cut break line. Yes, things are loose, the thing on the thing is loose on the thing. Yeah. Yeah. And I was like, this is a giving a lot of credit to people that they're going to recognize that dripping fluid as brake fluid and think that there's brakes on a roller coaster. And the fact that they show it, I don't know, six to seven times, like in case we forgot that the thing was dripping, like I get it, it's drippy. It's mad drippy, dog.
Starting point is 00:18:54 There's not breaks on a roller coaster? I don't know. I think there have to be. There have to be. I never thou- I th a th a tha tha tha tha. tha. tha. tha. tha. tha. tha. tha. tha. tha. tha. tha. tha. tha. tha. I tha. I tha. I thi. I thi. I thi. I thi. I thi. I thi. thi. I thi. thi. thi. I thi. I me real uncomfortable. Also being 6'2, they don't feel like they fit right. I remember the last one I rode, I would like, the bars hit the top of my legs, not my lap. So I was like, oh, this sucks. Like I'm going to fall out of this thing and it blows. Yeah. So, yeah, it's not for big, not for th for th for th for th for big th for big thuuber thuber thuber thuble for big thuble for big thuice thuice thu. thu. thu. thu thi thi. thi. tho th th th th th th thoes the the thoes thoes thoes thoes thoes thoes the the the the the the the last the last the last the last the last the last the last the last the last the last the last the last the last the last the last the last the last the last the last the last the last the last the last the last the last the thu thu thi thi thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. the thea thea' thea' thea' thea' thea'ea'eateateateateate thoooooooooooooes the, burly men like the self. It's for weak little men like the rest of you. Yeah, then if you just would be like a fucking beta and get on a roller coaster. Cuck. I should mention that I am literally terrified of Heights. So like in this movie when they're like showing them ascending, I was like, uh, uh, it was making me uncomfortable. Yeah, I think this is a actually kind of a good, like, set up of,
Starting point is 00:19:47 it is something that could happen, right? Like, it's a very deep-seated fear that you kind of, you know, although then there's the two like, Goths slash, Punk know-it-all kids who are like, ooh, oh, it's a one of 250 million chance, blah. Blahs blah like stop fucking nebbing get back in line. Yeah Ian and Aaron the names are Ian and Aaron and Aaron something okay Aaron Aaron Aaron Ulmer so we see this whole thing of like the the the roller coaster going off the tracks people being like tossed from the roller coaster the guy sitting next her who's Kevin being sliced in half in a really gruesome gory way, that was really fun. I liked it.
Starting point is 00:20:27 And then she like comes too, and she's like, I can't do this, I can't do the ride. Yes, his hot dogs are all over the outside when it happens, yes. So she starts screaming and crying, get me off this ride, get me off this ride. And the Texas battle. Texas Battle says, man, can you control this bitch? She's just trying to get attention, which immediately you're like, fucking die then, Texas Battle. Exactly. And then the ride operator is screaming,
Starting point is 00:20:52 nobody else gets off this ride. Why? Why? Why? Are you talking about the guy that I only refer to as Dick Buttkiss in my notes? He, like, is he a security guard? He's a manhandling, our poor Wendy. He's a security guard and a JV football coach in his spare time. Nobody else gets off this ride? Seriously? If they want to get off the ride, you let them off the ride, sir.
Starting point is 00:21:18 Well, that's, they don't because Jason's like, that's my girlfriend. I gotta go to my girlfriend. A lot of people's girlfriends are in there, the. That's, tha, th. That's, th. That's, th. That's, th.. A lot of people's girlfriends are in there. That's a Wayne's World 2 reference. I'm letting you know because I know you don't know. I don't know. Is that the one with Alice Cooper? Is that too? No, he's in the first? Okay. Erasmith in the second one? Yeah. Okay. Um, mm-hmm. So yeah. Wendy and Kevin get off. W. the the. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. thi. th. th. thi. th. thi. th. th. thi. thi. I th. I'm th. th. I'm th. I'm th. I'm th. I'm th. I'm th. It's like then sit with her if you're such a nice buddy friend. Why didn't he sit with her? Why don't you just hold her hand then?
Starting point is 00:21:52 Like you don't need to sit in the front. The other girls like I'm going to Berkeley. I'm sitting up front. There are rollercoastersers. Also, then they just send the roller coaster off not loading the rest of the train. I'm like, well, this is it, goodbye. And it does lie off the tracks and a bunch of people die. It does. I think the deaths that we see on the roller coaster in her like imagination of it, I'm so good. Yeah. Like the jock gets thrown into like a steel support beam, and just shatters. Oh, I love it. Yeah. And then at one point it does the thing where it's just hanging upside down and they have
Starting point is 00:22:29 to rock backwards to make it go backwards. I thought that was great. Yeah, that was really good. Also, she's a camera because she's taking pictures as we're told for the yearbook. Which is wild. Why are you taking the pictures? Print on demand. Okay, okay, okay. I suppose that's their little mechanism to let you know some time has best.
Starting point is 00:22:53 Oh, because there's no funerals. There, oh no, the only funeral we see are the Ashley's. Yes, which I loved. I too tot ti-tick-I too. I do too. Dick butt kiss. That is a reference for fucking nobody. Do you remember Dick? I mean Dick butt kisses. I like sports. Sure.
Starting point is 00:23:10 And a man with a name like Dick butt kiss is going to stick with me forever. I cannot forget that man. So yeah, she's alone. Why wouldn't he goes Richard? Why wouldn't you call yourself Rick or Richard? Going by Dick Buttkiss is a, a, it's a bold choice and a brave move. Power move. Yeah, power move. Yeah, sorry.
Starting point is 00:23:28 Go on. She's just alone in the school in the dark getting her books? Huh? Why? She's so fucking sad and gotthe to you in a couple of years to their today. to their lights can't even function when be the one anyway. Just trust me on this, you know? Yeah. He's just a high school boyfriend. They're dead to you in a couple years anyway, so like, yeah. Is that bad? You're going to end up with Michael Sierra in a little bit and just hopefully move on from that as well. And now in real life you're married at you and McGregor. Oh shit. You've you've told me that before. I'm like like. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. to thi. thi. to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the th. the th. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the the. the the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. to've told me that before, I've forgotten it every time. Every time.
Starting point is 00:24:05 It's like Richard Bachman. A hundred years older than she is. She's like my age, I think. How old is that? Yeah. Oh really? I guess this was 2006. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:24:15 And she was probably in her 20s. Yeah. Oh, geez. guys like, I'm here for you, okay? I'm here for you. I'm the guy who looks just like your dead boyfriend. The only one I have about this conversation is, oh wow, her face is like 80% eyes. So he starts telling her about how he read about this high school French class from New York where a kid had a vision just like you did. And that kid was Devonsawa. And then he was Devonsawa. And then he talks about how they all then died.
Starting point is 00:24:48 All the people that got off the plane died in the order they were sitting on the plane, which is like, did you just watch the movie? Yeah. How did you find all this out? I did not remember that that's how they died. I do. I do remember them being like, having like a seating chart of the plane, the plane, the plane, the plane, the plane, the plane, the plane, the the the the the plane, the the the the the their, the their, their, their, their, their, tha, that, thathea, thathea, thathea, their, thathea, that, that, thi, they were, they were, they were, they were, their, their, their, their, their, the order, the order, the order, the order, the order, the order, the order, the order, the order, the order, the order, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, thin, thin, that.e. We were that. Wea, that that that that that that that that that that that that that that, fuck you, Kevin. And I was like, that is the best response to this thing about the survivors dying in order. I like that both of these sisters are willing to tell people
Starting point is 00:25:10 to go fuck themselves with a drop of a hat. Yeah, her sister is a real bitch. Love her. She's probably the one I want to hang out. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. It. It. It. It. It's the the th. It's th. It's th. It's the th. It's th. It's th. She just might be a little bit of a wild card, might be in some trouble. Yeah, she looked real Lindsay Lohan. She had a terrible hat on in that first scene. She did. Like a, sort of like a newsboy, Brittany Spears, pink, cap. Like heading towards Kangle,
Starting point is 00:25:37 but not quite making it. Yeah. There's a lot. Again, given hard 90s vibes. Everybody was dressed like they could have been in me girls. Can't hardly wait. Yeah. Should have been some Seth Green in this movie. I wrote later that I wish the the dark hair, I thin. I wish that that was role as being played by Seth Green. Oh sure, he would have been perfect for that. He would have been 40, but that's okay. So are these people. I could play high school now. Oh my god. We should make a movie where we play high schoolers. That would be fucking, I'm not shaving for it, it would be fucking hilarious. Oh yeah. I'm not shaving for it either. Have they done that yet? Well I guess there's Penn 15? Oh that is so fucking good. Yeah. It's. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. thi. they's. thi. th. they's th. th. I th. I th. I th. I should th. But I like when they make out with people that are supposed to be in seventh grade and then like from behind you could tell the person they're making out with is in their 30s and it's very
Starting point is 00:26:35 funny. It's very funny. Wendy has a very sad scene where she reaches out to her sister and says it's not it's th. It's th. Wendy it's th. Wendy it's th. Wendy it's they they th. Wendy. Wendy. Wendy. Wendy. Wendy. Wendy. Wendy. Wendy. Wendy. Wendy. Wendy. Wendy. Wendy. Wendy. Wendy. Wendy. Wendy. Wendy. Wendy. Wendy. Wendy. Wendy. Wendy. Wendy. Wendy. When, is can talk to mom and dad. And it's like, well, what happened to mom and dad? We're never told. Where are mom and dad? Are they alcoholics? Are they dead? It's a Charlie Brown universe. OK. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:26:53 Yeah, there really are no adults in tho' the today's the the the the the the th same age. From the police station, that's why he doesn't speak, he's just seen in the background. Even the cops don't say anything. I know, in that scene, they like walk out of the police station, they were like, oh, we're in there for 10 hours. Like, I wanted to see that because I want to know what the police think is going on here. You've been in every crime scene. thi thah. thah. thin' thin' thin' thin' thin' thin' thin' thin' the scene. thin' thin' thin' the same. thin' thin' thin' thin' thin' thin' the. the' the. the same, their the' thi' thi' their their tho' their their tho' their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. the, so we're gonna let you go. And she just leaves, she's not released to anyone's custody. Well, she's got a mortgage and stuff, she's in her mid-30s. So we cut to a tanning salon.
Starting point is 00:27:35 Oh my god, the Ashley's have, like, hey, you look real sad. We're going to the tanning salon, why don't you come with us so you don't look so bad. Yeah, I like that. And they're like, that was so nice of us to invite her. I love the Ashley's. Immediately congratulating themselves for kindness. For some reason in the tanning salon, there's a Joey Ramon Bobblehead? No, that's in, that's in Wendy's room for some inexplicable reason. Are you sure? Yeah, I remember being like, that's Wendy Wendy Wendy I don't peg Wendy as a Ramones fan, because it had like a little Ramones poster behind the Joey Bumblehead. No. I would like a Joey Ramon Bobblehead though. Sure, yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 00:28:16 Not even a huge Ramones fan, but I would have a Jo Ramon bubblehead. Same and same. Yeah. So, okay, but they are at a tanning salon. They are. At Yuri's tanning salon. Yuri's tanning salon. And we see Yuri using his cell phone outside because... He's yelling at a guy in Russian.
Starting point is 00:28:34 I guess so. Yeah. And there's like, he holds the door open with like a tube of lotion. Yeah, it's like, thii going to work. Prior to that he was holding it open with a bent soda can. I was like, Yuri, get your shit together. Get a key to this place. You work here. So they don't want anyone seeing them naked so they lock the front door. Right. So no one could come in and see them naked. You can't do that in a place of business, but okay. It's just this movie like a this movie. this movie. this movie. this movie. this movie. this movie. this movie. this movie. this movie. this movie. the the movie. the movie. the movie. the movie. the movie. the movie. the movie. to. to be. to be. to to be. to be. to be. to be. to be. to be. to to be to to to be to be to be to be to be to be to be to be to be to to to to to to to be. to to be. to be. to be. toe. toe. toe. toe. toe. toe. toe. to be. to. to. to. to. to. to. the the the to. the the toe. the the the tha. the. te. the. the. the. their. the. the. the. toe. toe. toe. to. to. to. to. to telegraph everything. But like there's a little machine there with a digital number and it says this device should never be set above 250. Then why did you build it that way, Dennis? Why did you build a machine that could go above 250?
Starting point is 00:29:20 Oh boy. Oh boy. Okay, and in the meantime, Wendy is back at her house looking at photos that she took from the yearbook. And she's zooming in, zooming in, zooming in on this picture. What is she looking at? I don't know when he looks photoshopped into it anyway. And when there's like the roller coasters next one and she's like, uh-huh. She's stunned. It was a 200-foot-tall roller coaster. It was a every photograph. There's a lot of scenes where she's showing people photos. She's like, see, see, and they're like, yeah. Yeah. And I'm like, what? See what? See what?
Starting point is 00:29:52 Also, there's a wind coming through the room if she's looking at a little wind. I assume that's death. Oh, that's wiggling. A little wind. I'm a little. that. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. that. that. that. that's. that's. that's. that's. that's. that's. that's. that's. that's. th. that's. that's. that's. that's. that's. that's. that's. that's. th. that's. that's. that's. that's. that's. that's. that's. that's. that's. that's. that's. that's. that's. that's. that's. that's. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. Exactly. And he's dead at this time. Oh, RIP. So it's wiggling his... Do you think death took Joey Ramon to? Well, yeah, death takes us all, right? I guess. Seemingly much more efficiently than death does in these movies. I mean, God help me. It's such a stupid concept. Yeah. But I think I love it for how stupid it is. It's just, it's an X-Files episode, and I love that. It's not seven feature-length films. Or, Counterpoint, it kind of is.
Starting point is 00:30:33 Well, technically, yes, it is. So they get naked. They do, and I was like, well, I did not expect to see boobs in this movie. I wonder what was the biggest fake boobies. Why do you have big fake boops in high school? And like that also made me think this was filmed in the 90s because I feel like by 2006. I know your thoughts. Boops were better. The boobtech had improved by then. Boob tech is so much better than than that it was when she got those boobs because they're not good. In their 70s. They're just like like their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their. There's their. There's their. There's their. their. their. their. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. the. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. th. th. th. th. They're just their gravity defiers. Yeah. You know, it's like there's there's no amount of being like physically fit at 16 that's going to keep your
Starting point is 00:31:11 boobs in that position when you're laying on your back. It's a half a cantaloupe. You can't do that. Her friend says to her why aren't you taking your underwear off and she goes, Steinmetz says he gets off on tam lines. What? Steinmetz? Of all the names to choose, that's a great one. So they don't have any music they put on, they find a CD of the Ohio players and play a roller coaster of love. How can I outwigle to that song? And they did, they were dancing it up. But also, too soon? Why? Because their friend signed on a roller coaster! Also, legendarily, the urban legend about that song, that someone's murdered during the recording of that song? It was not, though. No, it's the male keyboard
Starting point is 00:31:58 player screaming. Yeah, it's really good. A woman was murdered. Nah, just that dude that dude having a good time. I'm just really really fucking, so th. So th. So th. So th. So, so th. So, so th. So, th. So, th. So, th. So, thi. So, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, th. th. th. thi, thi, thi, th. th. th. th. th. thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, th. Because, th. Because, th. th. th. th. Because, thi. Because, thi, that dude having a good time. I'm just really fucking kicking it. And so, okay, so then she's looking at a picture of the two of them, or Wendy's looking in a picture of the two of them holding this like inflatable palm trees they want. And it's like a little, almost like overexposed or something. They're both red. They're both red. She's like, holy she. And she's like, and she's like, th. th. th. She's like, th. She's like, th. She's like, th. She's like, th. She's like, th. She's like, th. She's like, th. She's like, th. th. th. th. th. th. th. thi. She's like, thi. thi. thi. She's th. She's th. She's th. She's th. She's th. She's th. She's th. She's th. She's th. She. She. She's th. She's th. She's th. She's th. She's th. She's th. She's th. She's th. She's th. She's th. She's th. She's th. She's th. She's looking. She's looking. She's looking. She's looking. She's looking. She's looking thi. She's looking thi's looking thi's looking thi's looking thi's looking thi's looking, she's kind of a bad detective. Or she's a great detective because she's inferring all these things that I could not come up with. But when she goes to like, oh we'll get to it, we'll get to it, sorry, I'm jumping ahead again.
Starting point is 00:32:35 So this is just a lot of buildup, a lot of buildup to their deaths. But I enjoyed their death scenes where they just keep keep their their their their their their their their the the the the the is the is just the is just keep keep keep keep keep keep keep keep keep keep keep keep keep keep keep keep keep the the the the the the the at the at the, the, the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the, thi, thi, th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, thean, thean, thean, toean, toean, toean, thean, toean, thean, thean, thean, thean, getting more and more bloody and red? Yeah, so like basically a shelf falls off the wall, slips between both of their tanning beds, locking mechanisms kind of, and locks them both in, and then turns up the 250 that shouldn't be above 250, Dennis. And this is like, this has all been set up because when Ash Lynn and or Ashley was going to get the CD off the shelf, it was too high up, so she broke the shelf so it's now hanging. She put her Sotie on Dennis, so it's going to get too hot. I assume the machine's name is Dennis. I mean, I was assuming that the person who built his name is Dennis, but I will accept that he named the machine after himself. The Dennis. Never put the Dennis of up 250.
Starting point is 00:33:26 Why let it go to 370 then, Dennis? Also, 250 what? I don't know. Just saw my notes, note 50, boobs! Noed 51, this is a fake titties. Yeah. No shame, do whatever you want. No, do whatever you want. Yeah. No shame, do whatever you want to your body. No, do whatever you want. Yeah. So they get burned alive and like I like that as they're being burned alive they're leaving blood all over the inside of the thing before it they both explode in flame. Yeah, it's brutal and it takes a long time. They're writhing the glass inside breaks and is falling all over them. They're getting like contact burns. Yeah, it's bad. It's a lot. It's th. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. It's brutal. Yeah. It's brutal. It's brutal. Yeah. It's brutal. It's brutal. Yeah. It's brutal. It's brutal. It's brutal. It's brutal. It's brutal. It's brutal. It's brutal. It's brutal. It's brutal. It's brutal. It's brutal. It's the the the glass. It's the glass. It's. It's. It's. It's. It's. It's. It's. It's. It's. It's. It's. It's. It's. It's. It's. It's. It's. It's. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. It's. It's. It's. It's. It's. It's. It's. It's. It's. It's. It's. It's. It's. It's. It's. It's. It's. It's. It's. It's. It's. It's. It's. It's. like contact burns. Yeah. It's bad. It's a lot.
Starting point is 00:34:05 Already more exciting than any of the burning to death that happened in Faiastata. Oh, absolutely. Yeah. So we see an overhead shot of their two tanning beds side by side, and Fuego. And then it cuts to their caskets. So good. I was like, Director, go home for the day. You did a great job. Nice work, James Wong. Not it out of the park. So they realize that, oh, they're at the funeral.
Starting point is 00:34:32 And the priest is saying something about equality and death. And Ian McKinley's like, equality in death. Blah, blah, blah, blah blah he's like not anymore Bucco USA number one da da da da da da da da da da da da da da da da da da da da da da da. I don't know why I'm singing the pit fight song maybe we never saw the body. Ah fuck it. No I know I thought the same thing was like who's like, who's got that one. Yep. What if all the people he listed were dead? Because I think he just allude to Dick Cheney and like... Oh, maybe he does. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:35:08 What a time to be alive. So, yeah, she's like watching the funeral from a far. And when Jason 2 is like, what do you do? And she's like, I don't want anyone to be upset with their deaths. so, like, nothe's th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th th thi thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, the, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, to, to, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, they. they. they. Yeah, they. they. thi, they. What, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, to, to, to to to toooooooooooooooooooooo. too. too. too. too. too. too. to, whatthey be? You had nothing to do with their deaths. She hadn't, like no one would think that she did. No, no, but she's just over there cleaning off the construction paper headstone that they made for Jason one. It looks so bad. Oh, poor Jason one. And then she stands up and they're both green screened. And I was like, why are they green screened? And I was like, why are they? Why? Why? Why? Why? Why? Why? Why? Why? Why? Why? Why? Why? Why? Why? Why? Why? Why? Why? Why? Why? Why? Why? Why? Why? Why? Why? Why? Why? Why? Why? Why? Why, why? Why, why? Why are they? Why are they? Why, why are they? Why, why are they? Why? Why are they? Why are they? Why are they? they? they? they? they? they? they? they? they? they? they? they? they? they? they? they? they? they? they? they? they? they? they? they? they? they? they? they? they? they? they? they? they? they? they? they? they? they? they? they? they? they? they? they? they? they? they're the the the the they? they? they? they? they? they? they. they? they? they're they're they? their? that the trees behind them could be pushed by the death wind. I see. And then they stay green screened even when they're not, the trees aren't flopping and I was like, this looks like shit.
Starting point is 00:35:51 Why are we doing this? 2006, what are you doing? And they're just like, she's talking about her psychology of not being able to let's, the the tell you, I'm really not interested in this. If I'm being honest with you. This is one of those things where I was like, does this woman have control issues? Or does she just want to make decisions for herself and no one will let her? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:36:13 Yeah. So it's not, it's actually she just wants to be a full human and no one's letting her do it. everything like she pulls out this photo of Lincoln with the broken camera lens or whatever she said this is the last photo of Lincoln never taken and this is exactly where he got shot no bitch he didn't he got shot behind the left ear and my husband will never let me hear the end of it I was gonna say did Rob explode with no there's no way I could have to do with And then she pulls out a picture of 9-11? Yeah. Which is, what does that have to do with anything? Shadowable plane.
Starting point is 00:36:48 Predicted the plane that was going to crash into 9-11. Into the towers, not into 9-11. I mean, I guess it did crash into that day. The plane did ruin that day. Knock, knock. Who's there? 9-11. 9-11 who?
Starting point is 00:37:06 You said you'd never forget. Manab-bubbah-ba-ba. A joke I used to open Maxipad's, actually. People hated it. I still hate it. Is you 9-11 truther? I don't understand what I'm supposed to take from this. Like, why is it, so there's a shadow of a plane on a very tall building, I would imagine that's not. I mean, how do planes how to shadow? They're between the sun and the building, aren't they? This is why I hate conspiracy theories. Okay. Because it's just like, look, this thing that I'm going to call
Starting point is 00:37:33 evidence is why this thing happened. It's like a fucking truther. Like buildings don't the fucker. that buthult the bu, bu, bu, bu, bu, bu, like, bu, bu, the bu, like, the bu, the bu, the bu, the f, the fu. the fui, the fui, thi, thi, thi, thu- thu- thu- thu- thu- tho, thu-tha-tha-tha-tha-tha-tha, they're they're they're they're they're they're they're they're they're thu-thea, thu-thea, thu, thu, thu. T, thu. T, thu. T, thu. T, thu. T, thu. T, thi, thi, thi, thi-tha. Thea. Thea. Thea. Thea. Thea-thauice. Thea-thauice. Thea-thauice. Thea-thau. Thea-thau. Thea-thau. Thea-thau. Thea-thau. The shut the fuck up. Right. If you're a 9-11 truther, go to therapy. Yeah, can I tell you I dated a 9-11 truther? Yeah. You lived in a basement of Monroeville. Yeah, that makes sense. That checks. Yeah, I think he made a documentary about it. great. I'm a 9-11 truther and that man's name was Rob. Just kidding. It's a tall thing to say. But they're also pulling out the number 180, like the flight
Starting point is 00:38:11 from the Devonsawa movie was Flight 180. And then there's a picture that says next exit 180. And what was that? That was like from the bus that it was going to the airport or something. Okay. It was stupid. But they're they they they they're they're they're they're they're they're they're they're they're they're they're they're they're they're they're they're they're they're they're they're they're they're they're they're the the their their their their that's their their that's that's that's that's that's their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I thi. I thi. I thi. I thi. I today today today today today today today today today today today today. I today today. I today today. like from the bus that it was going to the airport or something. Okay. Yeah, it was stupid. But they're talking about 180 and then they show the picture of the 9-11 plane. I was like, is this numbers? Am I supposed to be adding them? Because if you add 1 and 8-1, and that's only going to be 90. And if I subtract one from nine, I get eight, 81.
Starting point is 00:38:45 Did you ever think, what if a six turned out to be at nine? Why are you nodding at me like that? Think about it, bro. It's equally as dumb as anything that's being said in this movie. I like this conspiracy theory you have that numbers are interchangeable. I think that's a Jimmy Hendrick song. If I'm not mistaken. Very good.
Starting point is 00:39:12 So, I don't know, Frankie dies. Oh, wait, this is the drive-s. Oh, I don't know. This was the best death in the movie. Well, yes. But it's the set, the set, the set, the set, the set, the set, the set, the set, the set, the set, the set, the set, the set, the set, the set, the set, the set, the set, the set, the set, the set, the set, the set, the the th. thi. thi, th. th. th. th. th. th. th. thi, th. that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, thi, thi, thi, thi. thi. thi. thi. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. thi. th. th. th. th. to. to. to. the. the. to. the. th. th. th. th. th. that's. that's. that's. that's. that's., yes, but the setup is so fucking stupid. They go to, I assume, a Tim Hortons to get lunch. He says, when's the last time you ate? And she goes, I don't remember. It's like, I wish I could live in a world
Starting point is 00:39:35 where I didn't remember every meal and think about what the next one was going to be. I so strongly agree.. I' the the last the last the last the last the last the last the last the last. I was the last. I was the last. I was the the the thoomk. I was. I was. I was. I was. I was. I'm. I'm thoomk. thoom. thoom. thoom. thi. thi. thoom, thoom, I thoom, I thoom. thoom. thoom. thoom. thoom. the thoom. thoom. thoom. thoom. thoom. thoom. thoom. thoom. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. th. th. t. t. t. t. t. t. tom. t. tomorrow. tha. tha. tha. tha. tomorrow. tomorrow. tomorrow. tha. tomorrow. tomorrow. tomorrow. tomorrow. thing I ate was? What's that? There's nuts and fruit that I found in the bottom of my bag. Oh, I see. Mine was lemon grass tofu from trams. Oh, fuck yeah. I haven't had trams in ages. Go get trams. It's delicious. Yeah, I gotta get trams.
Starting point is 00:39:53 It's all the time. Okay, good. Yeah. Ever get the poops? No. All the time, but no, not I'm trying specifically. Six with two vegetarian. There you go. They're having this like inane conversation where he says something like SpongeBob lives underwater. And she goes, it's so pathetic that you know that. The fuck doesn't know that. Everyone knows SpongeBob lives underwater, you butthole?
Starting point is 00:40:27 Isn't that the opening to the theme song? Who lives in a pineapple under the sea? Fun, huh, huh? Again, tying it into, uh... No, that was Running Man that had the voice of Squidward in it. Oh, right. And also, I don't know th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th tho's that that thoes thoes, it's tho- it's th, it's th, it's th, it's th, it's th, it's th, it's th, it's th, it's th, it's th, it's th, it's th, it's th, it's th, it's th, it's th th th th th th th th th th th that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that tooooooooo-a-a-a-a' tooooooooo-s toooooooooooooooooooes, th. Oh right. And also, I don't know why this happens in this scene only, but she's looking at the like order board at the drive-thru and the words are like flashing in and out? Yeah, I don't, again, this is my, she's the worst detective in the room because like,
Starting point is 00:40:58 she's then looking at a picture, because they realize that Frankie is the next to die. So she's looking at everything at everything at everything at everything at everything at everything at everything at everything at everything at everything at everything at everything at everything at everything at everything at everything at everything at everything at that's that's that's that's that's that's that's like that's like that Frankie is the next to die. Right. So she's looking at a picture of Frankie. And she's looking at everything that's around him and then it turns out she's looking at the wrong picture of Frankie. There's several pictures of Frankie. Like that's when he, like the Jason 2 is like, I don't want to look at my picture.
Starting point is 00:41:17 And I'm thinking, did you really only take one picture of the fr. I guess you want to document him being a sex best. Yeah. Get that in the yearbook. He is a sex-gots. This guy will be going to jail later. He's he graduated two years ago. So but this is the the Rube Goldberg of this is that they pull into automobile. Yeah, and like a Mazda Miata. A bright yellow with a top down. Yeah, come on. How do they not see Frankie? I don't know. And then Canadian Road Rage pulls in and pins them against Frankie basically, the Tim Hortons. Right. And then a truck backs up, almost hitting them and she's smacking the tailgate, like that's gonna do anything. the the the the the th and th and th and th and the th and th and th and th and th and th and the the th. And the the truck, the truck, the truck, the the truck, thinks, thi, thr- thr- thr-fix, thranny's the their thranny's, th. th. Yeah, th. Yeah, th. Yeah, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, th. Yeah, th. Yeah, th. Yeah, thi. Yeah, thi. Yeah, thi. Yeah, thr-s, thr-s, true. true. true. truck, true, truck, truck, true, t anything and then the truck it just sets to them just stops yeah okay so they're pinned on all four sides yes and then the radio changes yeah which happens a
Starting point is 00:42:16 couple times in the movie that I don't know why just so it can play this BG's cover of oh was it the BGs I't know. I thought that cover was the VGs, but I could be wrong. No, I have no, I had never heard the song before in my life. Really? Yeah, go higher. She did it! Your dogs are scruping. So it's a BG song. I don't I think it's a song that's been played many times by many artists. Got you. I thagagagagagagagagagagagagag. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. th. th. thi. thia. thia. thi. thi. thi. thia thia thia th. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I th. Yeah. I th. Yeah. I th. Yeah. I th. Yeah. I th. Yeah. Yeah. I th. Yeah. I th. Yeah. I th. Yeah. I th. Yeah. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. Yeah. I th. Yeah. Yeah. I th. Yeah. I many artists but I think it's I thought it was the beach I could be totally wrong I don't fucking care actually I don't fucking care Ohio players and Beechies on the same soundtrack makes perfect sense to me yeah 2006 baby so it goes to the song yeah the song is there is someone walking behind you is a song about death I don't know must be I guess it's got to be or a stalk yeah so they she turns around the the the the the the the the there there there there there there there there there there there there there there there there there there there there there there there there there there's there there's there's there's there's there's there's there's there's there's there's there's there's there's th there's th th I th I th I th I th I th I th I there's there's there's there's there's there's there's there's the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the th there's the the the there's the the the the the the the the the the the th I the thus thus thus thus thus thus thus the the the thoooooooooo too too te te te thoooo thoo tho's got to be. Or a stalker. Yeah. So they, she turns around, looks behind her, and there's a runaway truck with a man chasing it with his arms in the air going, oh, which is very fucking funny. Did you see the video recently, the woman who
Starting point is 00:43:19 got out of her car to yell at people in a car, she didn't put it in park and it just goes right in the traffic. Big fan of that. I like that they kind of ran after her to help and then they were like, yeah, she yelled at us. They showed way more concern than they should have. Yeah, I would have just gone inside. She'll be back. So what happens. So what happens. the the the thih ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha. So, th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th thi that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that th. th. th. th. th. th. th. thi. that that that that that that tha. I they tha. I tha. I tha. I tha. I tha. I tha. I that that that that that that that the truck comes down. It smacks into the angry boy, the angry guy behind them, but Kevin has managed to kick the windshield out so they are able to get out of the car? Yes. But when it smacks into the angry guy's pickup truck, it shoves their engine block out of their car into the backseat of Frankie's car and the fan takes the top of his head off. It's really good. It's really good. It's really good because they get out and kind of look at him. Yeah. And then it
Starting point is 00:44:09 like sputters one last time which is a really great and gruesome touch. It like spits his head forward. Yeah. She goes can you feel how vicious it was? No, not really. You have a lawsuit with Chevy or whatever because that engine should have stayed inside that vehicle. There's no reason those bolts should have quit like that. God no, yeah. So Frankie's family are gonna be rich. Yeah. And they're probably better off without him. I mean truly. I mean there's no way he wasn't like taking upskirts of his cousin or something like that guy was just a gross oh it. It wasn't it wasn't it wasn't it wasn't it wasn't it wasn't it wasn't it wasn't it wasn't it wasn't it wasn't it wasn't it wasn't it wasn't it wasn't it wasn't it wasn't it wasn't it wasn't it wasn't it wasn't it wasn't it wasn't it wasn't it wasn't it wasn't it wasn't it wasn't it wasn't it wasn't it wasn't it wasn't it wasn't he. It wasn't th. It wasn't th. It's th. It's th. It's th. It's th. It's th. It's th. It's. It's. It's. It's. It's. It's. It's. It's. It's. It's. It's. It's. It's. It's. It's. It's. It's. It's. It's. It's th. It's th. It's th. It's th. It's th. It's th. It's th. It's th. It's th. It's th. It's th. It's th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th him that took the upskirt though. It was Jason too. Yeah. Our hero. Yeah. Yeah. RIP him. Yeah. Spoiler alert. I mean who cares. So they realize that the next person in on the roller coaster is Lewis, which is Texas Battle. Yes. He's down.
Starting point is 00:45:00 like. Why does this guy know where he is? Yeah, he's like, oh God, he's down at state right now for football training camp. They're called the sultans. And then like, they show a picture of him doing the strongman thing and there's like a sultan in the background. That's also a teddy bear? Is it a teddara bary. But I was like, thian, like, that, that, thu, thu, thu, thu, thu, thu, thu, thu, thu, thu, thu, thu, thu, thu, thu, thu, thu, thu, thu, th-a, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, the, they, they, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, thu, thu, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi. thi. thi. toda, today, today, today, tha. today, tha. today, hmm, salt and tiny bear. Okay, fine. Fuck it.
Starting point is 00:45:27 Let's go. Canada, baby. She goes, it looks like the weight is falling on his head. Okay, all right. All right. Yeah. This is where I started writing notes to you. Would you want to know how you're going to die?
Starting point is 00:45:39 No? I wouldn't. I don't think so. Yeah. It's been a lot of my life worrying about dying. Why? I can't wait for the sweet release of death. When I was a kid I had a real phobia of it. Oh, because this Nostradamus special that I watched was to my Orson Wells. My God. That sounds great. Yeah, in retrospect to it's pretty great. But, uh, I had a real big fear of death. Uh, no, I don't want to you. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to be to be to be to be to be to be to be to be to be to be the to be the the the to be their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their. I their. I their. I their. I their. I their. I their. I their. I their. I their. I their. I their. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I to. I to. I to. I to. I to. I'm to. I to. I'm to. I'm th. I'm th. I'm a th. But, uh, I had a real big fear of death. Uh, no, I don't want to, you, do you want to know how you- Oh, yeah, I'm a planner? Really? Oh, God, yeah. Because I'm always putting shit off.
Starting point is 00:46:10 I want to make sure, you know, you know, I get it ready. What if it's, like, super gruesome? Yeah, yeah. Yeah. But what about after? What do you mean? Have you thought about what happens after you die? Katie. Oh, by the way, I've become an evangelical Christian. Oh, okay. Well, um... Whoops, it does it. Well, here's what happens after I die.
Starting point is 00:46:32 You have promised that you're going to make all my funeral wishes come true. I know. So the lights are going th going going going going to to to to to to we are the champions. And then I want a hot dog cart, like a really good hot dog cart at my funeral. Like that's it. That's what's going to happen after I die is everyone's going to have a nice time. I love in the fiction of your death that I'm here after you. Well that's why I need to know. Because I got to get someone in line to do this if you're not gonna, you know what I mean, I need a successor if you're not going to do it.
Starting point is 00:47:14 So at this point they're like we don't know who was who else was on this, uh, who else is in line next. Right. Wouldn't you remember who got off with you and didn't die? Yes. Yes. Yes, you would. Wouldn't you recognize your sister being two car and two seats in front of you? Wouldn't you remember that? Yeah. Because, like, it would traumatize you. And her sister is not traumatized. No, I love that she's being a sneaky shit about it. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:47:38 Yeah. Oh, man. So, they go down to see Lewis at the training facility. How they get in? I don't know. They're just in the weight room all of a sudden. Where the sultans are punching a bear? Uh-huh. Because they're going to play the Bruins, I guess? Like where on earth did they get that big bear to punch? That's a bear? That's a bear. Because the guy's punching in the bear and it's like teet-or-tottering. Oh, yes. And then the one guy's like doing deadlifts and for some reason it's shaking the wall behind
Starting point is 00:48:14 him to the assailants, that's what they are. The scimitars are gonna fall. Why did you ask if you already knew? Now I look stupid. I didn't know, I had to bring it out, but you giving me the wrong answer so I could be right and mansplained swords to you. Just a- I agreed with you. Now I'm the one who looks stupid. is doing some crazy workouts. He's yelling at them that he doesn't you know he doesn't believe them. Because he's win wins all of his games. Yes she's like he's like what you're doing this on a hunch I'm here because I get good
Starting point is 00:48:52 hunches before every down and I thought fuck yes Lewis. Always be winning. Yes. So he does some like crazy workout machine thing and it's the final thing that like makes the the blades fall which what okay so they fall but they don't kill him also are they sharp because you don't hang sharp things on the wall at a college sirs a little weight room with people are all agro so they fall and they cut the ropes that are holding the tension on the weight machine he's using. They must be incredibly sharp then. Yes, exactly.
Starting point is 00:49:30 They're like steel cables. Those cables are strong enough to pull all of that weight safely. So the next time he goes to do a rep, he just crushes his own head. It's great though. He just gets smashed between the plates. And my next notice, oh, they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they go they go they go they go they go they go they go they go they go they go they go they go they go they go they got they got they got they got they got they got they go they go. they go. they go they they they they they they they their. their. their. their. th. th. th. th. th. th. And my next notice, oh, they got free sweats out of it. Because they get splattered in blood. Yeah. Oh, holy ghost. Take a drink, they got splattered in blood. Yeah. That's so funny. Okay. And then after this scene is where they're like, we don't know who was between Lewis and Aaron and Ian. Right. But it must be someone they're the they must. they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they're they're they're they're they're they're they're they're they're their. I their. I their. I their. I their. I their. I they're they're their. I they're their. I they're they they they they they they they got free. I they got free. I they got free. I they they got free. I they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they're like we don't know who was between Lewis and Aaron and Ian. But it must be someone and they must already be dead so let's move on to Aaron
Starting point is 00:50:10 and you. Why did they even bother with that? We're subjectives in the room. Why? So they have to go to fucking with the I can't remember the name of the like fake Home Depot. Yeah? And they go there and Aaron and Ian are the only people working. Clearly in the dark. And he's like re-stocking shelves with a forklift. Why is this teenager operating a forklift? And she's just putting stuff back that was left at the register. She's just being Abra Levine about it.
Starting point is 00:50:40 And then he's cutting lumber? And I was like, why are you doing this? Is that on the closing list? You do that with the person standing right there. Yeah. Gotta get this lumber cut. You also mentions Osama bin Laden again. And I don't remember what in what context?
Starting point is 00:50:54 And I was like, let it go. He was kind of a big deal in 2006. Sure. And they're just being dicks to them. Right. Ian and Aaron are just like, yeah, whatever, you guys are stupid. So stupid. Meanwhile, death is driving its own fucking forklift behind him. No one notices. When the forklift gets stuck on the antifreeze or whatever the fuck that was, and it takes like 20 minutes for it to plow through that. It's just like, how does no one notice this want want want want want want want want want want want want want want want want want this want thathat a runaway forklift is causing.
Starting point is 00:51:26 I do like that Ian and Aaron refer to themselves as zip and pip. That's cute. Yeah, it's cute. It's cute. What's not cute is that there's a bunch of hammers falling on the floor. I feel like that'd be so fucking loud. And also that Ian is a dick because we saw him nail gunning pigeons to death earlier. Yes, he seems to have like modified a nail gun to make it like an actual gun. Oh no, that's what nail guns are. Really? Yeah, you can buy a 22 caliber nail gun.
Starting point is 00:51:51 No shit. Why would you want that? Because you really need to get nails into hard things? Like if you need to put it into concrete? But they'll like they'll come out with enough force to project like that? Wow. You can shoot stuff with a nail gun. I guess I always thought it was like a stable gun. You can shoot staples, it's just not as powerful. Yeah, yeah, yeah, but this has like force behind it. That makes sense. I don't know why I never thought about it. Why would I really? I mean, I don't know if 40 of them would come through your skull, but... Well, yeah, yeah yeah she gets all nail gun to all over her head because the Rube Goldberg device knocks her down right they get covered in plywood I think it was supposed to be Ian's time to die oh right because we're told that someone intervenes they're skipped which I guess happened in the first
Starting point is 00:52:37 movie and I only vaguely remember sure probably in the second we went right to the third movie yeah I don't know what happens in the second at all. Better be some Devonsawa. I think so. Yeah. Yeah. And so Ian doesn't die. Wendy gets nail gun to death. After she had picked up Ian's dead pigeon, Aaron. Aaron, yeah. Aaron had picked up the dead pigeon and gone, ugh.
Starting point is 00:52:55 Don't pick up a dead pigeon. You're still going. You're like, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, to, to, like, like, to, to, like, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to to, to, to, to to to th. to to to, thi. thi. thi. to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thin, thin, the thin, the the the the thean, thean, thean, thiiiiiii. thi your relationship. Oh, I think they, wow. They were siblings? Yeah, I think they were, they would make fun of them both having the last name McKinley. That's right, yeah. Isn't that so pathetic that I have the same last name as the school? I don't know, it's like a president. Yeah, it's fine. It's weird. It's weird. It's weird. It's weird. It's weird. It's weird. It's weird. It's weird. It's weird. It's weird. It's weird. It's weird. It's weird. It's weird. It's weird. It's weird. It's weird. It's weird. It's weird. It's weird. It's weird. It's weird. Like the booth in Oswald at the end? Okay, we'll get that. So yeah, they go to, they get arrested, or they get questioned by the cops for 10 hours, supposedly, and then it's like, okay, well I'm gonna go home. Yeah, you go home why? Is it a volunteer gig? Does he do it on the weekends? Yeah. College credit. He also keeps saying pictures instead of pictures? Yeah. Which I'm like, are you Canadian? Are you from Pittsburgh? Are you Appalachian? Because no one in this god-dam area can say pictures. Pictures? Pictures. Or crown? Crown for crayon? Crayon? Cran. Cran. thrown? Starting point is 00:54:10 letters. Numb, numb, numb. So tasty. If only, yes, if only she had seen this very obvious detail of a gigantic charm bracelet earlier when she was looking for it. That's the charm bracelet that our dead grandmother gave to me in her will. Hey, guess what? Your grandma had shit taste. It's nasty. So she finally looks at his pitcher. Mm-hmm. Which is like him with the flash going off in his face and he looks like he's being blinded by and he goes like, and he looks like a fireworks display and goes like a firework went off in my face? And she goes, goes yeah I'll be right there. I have an idea yeah get away from the fireworks just get like
Starting point is 00:54:49 five miles away is that is good enough as like having intervened if you just turn around and drive five miles. Nope that's not what they do no she has to go there too because she realizes by the by the charm bracelet that Julie her sister from Silicon Valley is going to to be the next to to die to die to die to die to die to die to die to die to die to die to die to to to to to to to to to to to the to the the to the the the to the the the the the to the the the to to the the the the the to the the the the the to the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the to to to to to to to the to the the the the to the the the the thxx. thex. thexxx. to to thexx. to to thex. to the to the the the the the the the the the the there too because she realizes via the charm bracelet that Julie, her sister from Silicon Valley, is going to be the next to die. Right. Oh, in Julie's picture when she's giving her the finger with that terrible hat on, there's a carousel horse behind her. Oh my god. She's going to die by horse.
Starting point is 00:55:22 I mean. I like how much that made you smile. I mean I felt like this was very validating for me this scene. Yeah yeah. Because like yeah yeah. So there's a there's shitty teen boys that are throwing M80s at a horse to scare it. Yeah. Come on shitty teen boys. Don't have horses around fireworks anyway. Or teen boys. Oh yeah. Yeah. There's a horse stampeding through a crowd dragging a spike after it and I wrote, you see? You see? Katie, what's the thing called that you stuff cannonballs down with?
Starting point is 00:56:00 A ramrod? So when the guy who's in reenacting gear puts the ramrod down, he just perfectly 90 degree angles sticks it against a cannon, I was like, there's no way a fucking reenacter would ever do that. And also, like, why is it, why is there gunpowder in it? Hmm? Like, they were really going to shoot a cannonball? Seems dangerous. We're gonna fire to Detroit? Calm down, Canada. So the horse is stampeding around with this long rope and a spike on it. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:56:32 It ensnares a man. Uh, it wraps around Julie's throat and is pulling her around. And like, she survives. Yeah. She's a good son person. She's fine And then it fucking kicks Jason too. Yeah, yeah, he gets mule kicked by a horse
Starting point is 00:56:53 It like through the air. Yeah, is Unphased by it all of his ribs would have been outside of his body. Yeah into like a fi into a live firework I think because he like in the next scene his face is like a little bit burned. Yeah, yeah or he hit a barbecue or something. Yeah. And the horse is like, well I guess that's over, no big deal. Oh, that's what it was. He gets kicked into a gas tank that explodes. Right, right. That would fucking kill you. Yeah. It's a kick didn't the explosion would. He's fine. Don't worry, he's fine. And then Ian is yelling at them about
Starting point is 00:57:27 something. Wait, first. First the horse impales a woman because Wendy is yelling at Julie, you need to tell me who was sitting next to you, they're going to be the next to die. Oh and it was her friend to get some. Her friend is just standing there like, huh? And then the horse like has been staked to the ground with. the ground. tha. the ground. Huh, huh, huh, huh, huh, huh, huh, huh, huh, huh, huh, huh, huh, huh, huh, huh, huh, huh, huh, huh, huh, huh, huh, huh, huh, huh, huh, huh, huh, huh, huh, huh, and the horse, huh, and the horse, and th. And thi, huh, huh, the horse, the horse, the horse, the horse, the horse, the horse, the horse, the horse, the horse, the horse, the horse, the horse, the horse, the horse, the horse, huh, huh, huh, huh, huh, huh, huh, huh, huh, huh, huh, huh, huh, huh, huh, huh, huh, huh, huh, huh, huh, huh, huh, huh, huh, huh, huh, huh, huh, huh, huh, huh, and the horse, and the horse, and then, and then, and th. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. the the the the thi. the ground with, I don't know. There's like a flag that goes through. Yeah. Yes, and the horse freaks out again. Yeah. Pools the flag out of the ground and throws it
Starting point is 00:57:52 and it just impales right through her. And I thought, this is fantastic. I very much, like, all of the deaths up to this point, I'm very much on board with. Definitely. I very much like when Ian, the fireworks go off they're in the back of just the beds of pickup trucks that are not attached to trucks. And one of them earlier we saw that a cannonball fell when the guy knocked the ramrod fell over. I called it the Q-tip for a cannon because I couldn't run where they were called. I thought you were quizzing me. No, no, no, no, I knew that Rob had yelled at you at some point. How, were you outside our window?
Starting point is 00:58:31 No, but I know. And we saw earlier that it knocked over a cannibal, the cannibal rolled, hit the piece of wood that was holding the trailer for the trucking. It flips the man into the pan and the pan, and the pan, and the pan, and the piece of wood that was holding the trailer for the trucking. It flips the man into the pan and the cat and catch the mouse. Fucking hell. And so the truck tilts down fires fireworks into a forklift that calls it to fall over or not for a lift a man lifting thing falls over and crushes Ian. Right okay so because she, Wendy has looked at her picture and it's just her against a dark background she's wearing her McKinley shirt. So she realized, and the whole, like when she realizes it, she's like, McKinley, and it's like that scene in, um, I still know what you did last summer when the guy goes, Brasilia.
Starting point is 00:59:18 I love it when they do that. I love it when they do that. Probably the second time the shoe shut shut shut shut shut shut shut shut shut shut shut shut shut shut shut shut shut shut shut shut shut shut shut shut shut shut shut shut shut shut shut shut shut shut shut they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they time the shoes shot out of the trier into Brandy's hands. I love it when they do that. God, what a great movie. What a weird movie. Brazilia. Why is it? No, we can't re-litigate that movie.
Starting point is 00:59:34 No, please tell me. I want to know why Jeffrey Combs. I just wanted to have a vacation. I forgot it was Jeffrey Holmes. That's funny. Yeah, wearing fake teeth. Yeah. So Ian gets mushed by the McKinley sign. Yeah. Which doesn't make sense, but okay. Because like why does he have to to die? Did he take her death? Was she supposed to get smushed by the McKinley side? But none of it makes sense because of what happens next. Right, cut to five months later she's living, I assume, in Toronto. Ah yes. Somewhere with a robust subway system. Yes, yes, yes, yes.
Starting point is 01:00:14 And back-to-back subway stops called Oswald in Booth. Why? You get it? Why are we killing? Why are we talking about dead presidents? I don't th th th tho tho tho th. tho tho tho th. tho th. thi thi tho. tho tho. thi. thi. tho. tho. thu. thi. thi? tho. tho. tho tho thi. thus. tho tho tho tho-s. tho tho tho tho thi. thi. thi. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. thi. thi. thi. to thi. to to too. too. too. too. toooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo like a very ex-files thing to do as well. Just for no fucking reason. Yeah, yeah, yeah. And there's a busker walking around playing the song. There is someone. And like making hard eye contact with her while he's doing it. It also can't be that far from where she lived, because there are ads for all the places that people have died died the train plus an accounting firm with a thing about death and taxes like it's
Starting point is 01:00:49 like Eury's Tanning salon and the Home Depot whatever like what what is what is happening and then she's gonna get off the train but then Julie walks on to the train and was like sorry I'm early I guess I just knew exactly what train you'd begun to meet with the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the th. th. th. the. the. the. I guess I just knew exactly what train you'd be on to meet up with you. The fuck! Julie, go home. I don't know if you've ever been in one of the big cities, like a New York City? This is where my notes start to get real sparse, like a glad little ratty got a snack,
Starting point is 01:01:28 and how is this movie not over? There's, oh, I wish it was pizza rat. There is a little rat that gets, somebody throws away a chocolate bar. Who the fuck throw away a chocolate bar? That's a little the concept that death just can't th th th th someone would throw away a rapper that still has chocolate in it. The concept that death just can't take you out at the moment's notice is not the most ridiculous thing in this movie. No, the death holds a grudge. If you escape death, he will come for you.
Starting point is 01:01:56 But no, it's that like that little ratty ate all that chocolate. I don't know if you if you you if you you you you you if you you you you if you you that you that you that you that you that you that you that you that you that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the th. Because there's exposed wires in the subway. I mean. Kevin's also on the train. I mean. The train goes wild, decouples from the rest of the train. Their car does.
Starting point is 01:02:34 This is where I wrote. Oh, and everyone says light rail is so great. You ever ride the tea here in Pittsburgh? No, I've never.. We're going to do it this summer. She really wants to ride to do it. Nice. With you. I'm taking my five-year-old and my 48-year-year-year-year-year-year-year-year-year-year-year-year-year-year-year-year-year-year-year-year-year-year-year-year-year-year-year-year-year-year-year. to-year-year. So Julie dies, the train, the train, duly gets taken out by a wheel that shoots off the train in the car, which was very good. Yeah. Kevin falls out the window. Kevin, bye. See you later. Also, your haircut still sucks. Wendy's leg is all broken and busted up. She's outside of the train car because it's flipped off the tracks.
Starting point is 01:03:32 She's sitting on other tracks. Yeah, and then there's a train coming. Because reasons. Yeah, but then it turns out it's a premonition and then it starts happening and then the movie ends and then the credits roll Who boy there's a lot there's a lot to take it But my last note is silly but fun. Okay, okay, you want to rate it then? Yeah, let's go the ratings phase You go. This is a solid six of a film really? It's a lot to I feel like it's the similar to you do about 80s and 70s Italian movies, so I've given you a taste for those. Oh boy. I've gotten a taste for like the early 2000's horror movies. Which is great because you also apparently are enjoying icy light mango without me.
Starting point is 01:04:19 You're enjoying it so much that you're drinking it when I'm not here. I had one after I cut my hair and took and took and took and took and took and took and took and took and took and took and the hair not here. After I cut my hair and took a shower today, I was in the shower. So good. Well, I'm glad I can rub off on you in some ways. I'm just giving you things that are terrible and being like, take these, they're all I have. I have brought Argento into your life. We both share terrible. I know it's not terrible. It's fine. Listen to the, listen to the episodes. Do your fucking research. Do your own research and make your own choices. No, don't do that. Listen to your doctors.
Starting point is 01:04:50 What numerical? John do you get this? Oh, five. It's fun. See, yeah. Yeah. I mean, it's not. It's a terribly executed film in a lot of ways in terms of storyline, pacing, character development. Oh yeah, no, but you don't expect that out of this movie. No, I guess not. I will say it probably got bumped up because there's boobs in it. You do love titties. Sure, I also love titties.
Starting point is 01:05:16 Yeah. I think the deaths are just so fun. Yeah. And I do think there's something to the idea of like, they are being killed by these weird, mundane, terrible accidents. Like a subway car wrecking is terrifying. I feel like it would be really fun to write these movies because you get to make up like ridiculous, like Rube Goldberg deaths for everybody. Yes, if I recall correctly, in the first movie, there was someone who like fell in the bathroom and was shaving and like a razor, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, a, a, a, th.... Like, th. Like, th. Like, th. Like, th. Like, like, like, th. Like, like, cut their throat just like this this like bizarre accident scenario. But there's also the one scene where there's just like whipping electrical wires that are
Starting point is 01:05:52 like sentient and moving towards people? True. But there's also that one scene where the woman just steps out into traffic and get smashed by a bus. Oh my god, it's so good. Yeah. So so so th, so th, so th, so th, so th, so this. So th, so th, so th, so th, so th, so th, so th, so th, so th, so th, so th, so th, so th, so th, so th, so th, so th, so th, so thi, so th, so th, th, the the one there's there's there's there's there's there's there's there's there's there's there's there's there's there's there's there's there's there's there's there's there's there's there's there's there's there's there's there's there's there's there's there's there's there's there's there's there's the the the the the the the the the the the one. I feel like you could... Emily is a life. We need to respect that. I feel like you could make these movies in perpetuity as long as you just kept making up dumb deaths for everybody. I think they do. I think they'd have. Yeah. Yeah, good for their their their their their their their their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. th. their. I th. I th. I th. I th. So, uh, the contest was to guess how many times Katie would say Fias Tata? Yeah, the fias tata.
Starting point is 01:06:35 And, uh, the total was six. thi's low. It feels low. I feel like I feel like the the the the the th. I could th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I literally listened to that song on my way here. So, we did have a winner though. Okay. Uh, the winner's name is Derek M. Hi, Derek M. Thank you so much for participating and congratulations on his big win. That's so cool that I'm talking to Derek right now. Are you Derek? And Derek says, let's go with one film
Starting point is 01:07:07 that I fell in love with a few years back. OK. It's a movie you can laugh at or laugh with, so it's right up your alley. Great. Bye-by-man, too, electric buglew. What? When you said bye-by-man too, literally I felt my heart go all the way down. No! My real pick is Hackle Lantern. What? From 1988, Hack O' Lantern.
Starting point is 01:07:34 This sounds okay, all right. It is a Halloween, time-based movie that has a heavy metal band in it. Oh my god. And it's fucking ridiculous. You've seen this. I've seen it many times. Okay, great. I'm very excited. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:07:53 I think from what I remember, it's one of those movies that looks older than when it was released because it took so long to actually complete. And it's available for free on YouTube. Nice. Hope you.'s also on YouTube. Nice. Hope you enjoy it. Thanks again, Derek M. Derek M. Thank you. I'm really excited about this one. Has a lantern. Alan emailed me earlier and said it's a doozy. Yeah, which could have meant anything. And I was like if this person picked martyrs, I'm just going to set myself a flame. So thank th you th you th you th you th you th you th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th. to th. to to to to to to to to to to be to be to be to be to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to be to be to be to be to be to be to be to be to be to be to be to be to be to be to be to be the the the the the the the the the the the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. thea. thea. the. the. the. the. to going to set myself a flame. So thank you for not. Martyrs would have gotten vetoed. Yeah, I guess we should always say that we always have a veto. But I'm very excited for Hackelanton, so it's free on the internet.
Starting point is 01:08:32 It is free on the internet. Perfect. I highly recommend that if you folks have not seen it, watch it. And if you have, watch it again. Metal Band, the 80s. It's really your trifecta things. There's an, it's always sunny in Philadelphia actor that's also in this movie. Tell me, is it Danny Davito? It's not Danny Davito. It's like a small part player. The one guy's dad is in this movie. Huh. I don't know any of their names. Yes. The guy who's in prison? Yes. Yes. Yes. He's the star of this. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. the the the th. th. the th. the the th. the the th. the th. the the the th. the the the th. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi thi thi thi thi thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. th. th. th. th. th. He is the star of this film. Oh, wow, I'm very excited, even more so now. That'll be funny. Okay, good, I'm looking forward to it.
Starting point is 01:09:08 Yeah. All right. Thanks, Derek M. Yeah. Yeah, and thank you all for, everybody. We had a bunch of people who wrote in. high numbers like 24 25. Wow you do think I'm that annoying. It's true I am though. No I am though. No I am. We did get an email and I'll have to read it on a later episode about a person who said that they've recently gotten into the podcast and they've picked up all of my vocal ticks
Starting point is 01:09:39 oh and lost all of their friends because of it. What are your focal ticks though? Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. That's so weird because those are the reasons I'm your friend. And I was like, hey, wait, I still have all my friends. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I'm a very friended guy. You are. So come back for Hackerlantern and find us on the internet. Yeah, Patreon.com Backstosh World Famials. We just did the Running Man episode, which was a very fun time. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 01:10:10 I think I did a lot of good objectifying in that. Or maybe it was in Fire Starter, I don't know. We recorded them on the same day. It was a Running Man, we were both very much objectifying. That's our, I mean, his job is to be objectified, right? I mean, he'd literally put his body out there for everyone to look at. So we just, Mr. Universe. It's the thing. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:10:32 I have to tell you that I did an Allen to my therapist recently, which I don't think I think he appreciated, which he had asked me a question that I just just, tho, tho, tho, thi, that I just, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thin, thin, thin, thin, thin, thin, thin, thin, thin, thin, thin, thin, thi, thin, thin, thin, that, that, that, is, is, is, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, th want to answer. I was like, I'm on, I don't know, I'll feel like discussing this. So he was like, why do you think that is? And I was like, yeah. He was like, no, why do you think that is? And I was like, mm-hmm? And he was like, Katie, it seems like you're avoiding this issue. And that from henceforth is known as doing an hour. Someone asks you a why question, you go, yeah.
Starting point is 01:11:09 Mm-hmm. Or occasionally, mm-hmm. Sure did. All right, well. All right, go to bed, everybody. Bye. Empty. Medi acts in a dead horse, Savin' a dead horse, Savin'a' scee'is at the pool, No way to do in Finland's to fulfill reviews.
