Werewolf Ambulance: A Horror Movie Comedy Podcast - Episode 428- Scream VI (2023)

Episode Date: May 15, 2023

It's a landline! It's a knife! It's the newest entry into the "Scream" franchise! This week, we're discussing 2023's "Scream 6" or "SCREAVI" or whatever it is that they're stylizing. Special topics fo...r your consideration include: having very shallow memories when it comes to the last two installments of this series, stanning our short kings and queens...of law enforcement? and also a quick PSA on where it is and is not acceptable to tag "ACAB," Dermot Mulroney!, and our slow descent into madness. We have covered all the "Scream" movies! That's either an accomplishment or a reason to seek therapy. They are: the original in Episode 44, "Scre4m" in Episode 228, "Scr3am" in Episode 278, "Scream 5[?]" in Episode 374, and "Scream 2" in Episode 391. Just looking at the order in which we covered these movies makes me very happy. The regular lineup of links! Starting point is 00:00:00 Welcome to our Screamcast. We've done them all. This is it. We have peaked at Scream. Scream. Screevee. Screevee! Screevee! Screevee! Screevee! Screamvy? Scream 6? Yes. Holy Ghost. The Father, Son, and. Yeah. The Holy Ghost. I realized watching this movie how little I remembered of four and five. Sure. I couldn't remember who was in four. There was a Culkin boy in one of them. Yeah, the lesser Colken. I was just like, hey, that's a Colken on that corkboard up there.
Starting point is 00:00:50 I know memory of him being in the movie. First of all, since it's unparamount, do you remember what commercials you got? Oh, I just wrote regrets, question mark. I got fatal attraction in the TV show. Oh my. In case two hours of misogyny wasn't strong enough where you need to stretch it out over a series. Some people like it all the time. The Marriott Bonvoy. Oh. So tel team. What is a bonvoy? Bonvoy? That sounds like you're saying something wrong. Is it onvoy or is it like Bonvoyage? Yes. Gross. How came up with that? How do I not have a job in marketing? Sorry, go on.
Starting point is 00:01:32 I always think about the the Mitch Hedberg joke of naming things in a marketing campaign just being like refrigerator or like, uh, it keeps things cold, cooler. I'm out! Entresto, which is some sort of drug for you to use, that if you're allergic to in Tresto, don't use in Tresto. Who the fuck needs to be told that if they're allergic to Intristo, they should not take Intersto? I don't know. The same people that need this is not baby formula on soy milk. And yeah. And T-Mobile.
Starting point is 00:02:08 Wow, they hit you hard. I hit me hard. Yeah. I genuinely don't know. All I got is the word regrets and a question mark, which I'm not sure if that's about something I saw in Paramount or my life. The podcast that I do in my spare time. So, yeah. Yeah. The podcast. The podcast that I do in my spare time.
Starting point is 00:02:26 So, yeah. Movie starts off with the phone rigging. Classic Scream. Classic Scream. Classic scream. I do like that they were like, how are we going to get a landline in here? Oh, a restaurant. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:02:39 Although Gail Weathers later has a landline in her like Brazilian dollar Upper West side apartment. Jesus Christ. Why would be all have that? And then book sales are doing good. Yeah. Landline rings because of course it does. Yeah. There's some reggaeton playing in this Latin-flavored restaurant we're in.
Starting point is 00:02:56 And then? Your girl? Our girl. Yeah. I don't know that I'd ever heard her accent before. I was so unnerved by it. Her real voice. Her real voice. She's so cute.
Starting point is 00:03:09 Oh my God, and she's just like, oi. Wait, what she like? Oy, mate. Every one of our Australian listeners just hung up the phone. I was hanging out with a friend from Taiwan who learned English in Australia. Oh and I was like, oh did you? I was like, yeah she's like you didn't know you that. I was like oh you did it! Like can you just say no? So it's Reggie on the phone, her Tinder date. Yeah, but he's not Tinder, he's like a flirter, flurder date is what I think it said. Yeah. Oh and at this point we realize
Starting point is 00:03:48 that long pointy fingernails are back aren't they? Are they? I've been seeing them a lot lately. Like those which points the like super sharp points? Yes. And then I think do you people not wear contact lenses? Sure. Because how? or? Because th. Because, th. Because, th. Because, th. Because, th. Because, the the the the their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their their their their th. th. th. th. th. th. th. thi, thi, thi. thi. thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi. Oh, thi. Oh, thi. Oh, thi. Oh, thi. Oh, thi. Oh, thi. Oh, thi. thi. thi. thi. the. the. the. the. the. thee. thee. theee. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. thto wipe your heine. Oh, your poop. Okay, yeah. She is a film studies professor, we're told. Who specializes in slasher films? She's teaching a class on 20th century slashers. Oh, 20th century ones. Yeah, not the ones from earlier. Not the ones from earlier. Not the ones from no. How is that college credit? Yeah, I mean come on. It's like you know kids taking phys ed in college. Ah, I took a volleyball. Yeah. You get a credit for that? Yeah. Oh yeah. You would have taken a slasher's class if it were available to you. It's true. Yeah. But it's not good for anything. you know. Would it help you you you you you you you you you you th you th you th you th you th you th you th you th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th tho tho tho tho tho tho tho tho-a tho-a tho-a tho-a tho-a tho-a tho-a tho-a tho-a tho-a tho tho tho ccol ccole th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th to you. It's true. Yeah. But it's not good for anything, you know? Would it help you on this podcast? I think I'm doing fucking great, Alan, thank you. I agree, neither of us need a degree to do this podcast. I need to actually forget I have a degree
Starting point is 00:04:55 sometimes to do this podcast. Take that journalism. Yeah, fucking journalism. What a waste of time that was. Yeah, she's on the phone with him. And he says, what's your favorite scary movie? And she says, not that one. Which I liked quite a bit. They're, they have just gone full bore on the Stab franchise being the biggest thing in cinema in this world. I kind of love that as a conceit, that like, stab is so crucial to everybody's fiber of their being th. thiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii th th th that that th thi, that it that it thi, that it thi, thi, thi, and that it that it that it that it that it that it that it's that it's thi, thi, andthat as a conceit that like stab is so crucial to everybody's fiber of their being. Sure. That it drives all of their actions. It's a wild. Yeah. Like I mean we live in a world that people will
Starting point is 00:05:34 definitely call Jason Michael Myers and vice versa and not know who Frey Gruger is but like somehow in this world that scream mask is just everyone knows it is a stab. Ubiquitous. Umbiquitous. She says something about horror films being outside or art, a voice for the voice list. And I was like, all right, movie. Don't commit me with this in the opening scene about how important you are. And so she talks her into going outside to look at the front of the restaurant to see what color is because he's lost. And there's just a scarecrow coming down the street?
Starting point is 00:06:14 We're not told that it was Halloween and there's not a lot of people on the street at this point in costume. There's just a weird scarecrow costume and you're like, thi-a-sah-a'-d later someone's like, hey you're a day early for Halloween I was like what the fuck was happening the other night? What was that scarecrow doing? Just New York? Ah? You're around the Blackmore College campus. Uh, so she tells him yes, it's definitely red. And then he's like, oh, I'm in an alleyway so she goes into an alleyway and then he switches to the ghostface voice. Oh that goddamn voice modulator. Which I love, is someone selling that? Can you just pick up the ghostface voice mostlaver from the stab franchise? Well yeah it's everywhere, it's like your kids lunch box, Stab, Thermus. Who's that Roger L. that's a, thrific? Who's that, who's that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that, is that, is that, is that, is that, is that, is that, is that, is that, is that, is that, is that, is that, is that, is that, is that, is that, is that, is that, is is that, is that, is that, is that, is that, is that, is that, is that, is that, is that, the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the tho-s, their, the tha, the voice of Ghost Face. Good for him. He's had a lot of work, I presume. Yeah, and no one knows who he is. No, that's nice.
Starting point is 00:07:08 She goes into the alley. Yeah. And there he is. Yeah. Do you recognize that kid who stabbed her? He's in that one West Henderson movie, hotel something or other? Mm-hmm. And he's in, Hotel, something or other, Budapest. And he's in the Spider-Man's, the new Spider-Man's movies.
Starting point is 00:07:28 None of these films have I seen. Yeah, yeah. There's probably a baseball game on and I'm very stupid. Not a West Anderson fan? Nah, it's a little twee for me. Okay, I can see that. I like the Royal Ten and Bombs. Great. Great great fantastic film arguably is best yeah that might be it for
Starting point is 00:07:45 me yeah I mean once yeah once goops out you're out right like I mean yeah love my jade eggs gotta put him inside my vagina so the guy takes off the mask immediately and you're like what the killer but also when they did like a reveal on his face I was like was he in one of the other movies there's so many characters? their the the the the the they. the the th. th. th. th. the th. the the the the the the the the the the the they. they. the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the they. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the killer but also when they did like a reveal on his face I was like was he in one of the other movies there's so many characters when we see the board of killers later is like what I've seen all these and I don't know if I've seen these people that's where I saw the Colkin boy and I just wasn't sure this lesser Colkin was in one of these movies yeah I guess he was one of the killers oh sorry if you were ever gonna to to to to to to to the to the the to the to the the the to the the the to the the the the to the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the other.oooooo.o.o.o. the the other.o. the the the the the other.o. the the the the the the the. Yeah, I guess he was one of the killers. Oh, sorry if you were ever gonna watch the others. Anyway, if you see this movie,
Starting point is 00:08:28 you never need to see another Scream movie. They basically do it all. Yeah. Except you get no Sidney. No Sidney. No Sydney. No Sydney. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:08:36 the pay nice over here. And she went home and slept on her bed of money. Yeah. Also, yeah. Also, get what you can out of these people like this. Yeah. So yeah, he stabs her and then says, I see red now. And then I, is this where we hear red right hand? Or does that pop up a little later? Yeah, but this is the first time we get red right hand and then, and then, and then, and then, and then, and then, and then, and then, and then, and then, and again, and again, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, mad? No, because I was corrected that it is in all the movies when I was making fun of it last time. Oh, okay, yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah, it's in
Starting point is 00:09:09 all right. Well, I have to deal with it now. Yes, yes, yes. There's plenty of other Nick Cave songs. But this one's fine. That's fine. It's fine. It's fine. It's fine. It's fine. wen't it's fine. We's fine. We's fine. We's fine. We's fine. We's fine. We we. We we. We the the th. We got the th. We got th. We got the that's the that's fine. We got that's fine. We got that's fine. We got that's fine. We got that's fine. We got that's fine. We got that's fine. We got. We got. We got. We got. Yeah. We got. We got. We got. Yeah. We got. We that's fine. We. We. We that's fine. We. We that's fine. We that's fine. We that's fine. We that's fine. We that's fine. We that's fine. We that's fine. We got. We got. We got. We got. We got. We got. We got. We got. We got. We got. We got the the the the the the the the to to the th. We got to to to party? She's dressed as a cute little pirate. Love Jenna Ortega. She forfeit nothing. I would be so pissed if my sister was that much taller than me. That is bullshit. She's, she is teeny, tiny though. Same thing with her and when we later see, uh,
Starting point is 00:09:41 reveal Kirby showing back up at this. And they're like, I think that she's that she's that she's that she's that she's that she's that she's that she's that she's that she's that she's that she's that she's that she's that she's that she's that she's that she's that she's they. thi thi thi thi thi thi thi, thi, thi, thi, too too too too too too too too too too too too too too too too too too. too. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. too too too too too too tho tho thi, thi. No. No. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. the the the the the the the too too too too too too too too too too too too to And they're like, I think that she's the killer. And I was like, no, she's not, unless she's one stilts. She, yeah, she would be up to that guy's nipples. So no, I don't think she's the killer. You guys are really fucking stupid. Really bad at this. I also felt like she wouldn't pass either an FBI's thaa, I feel like you have to be taller to be an FBI agent in the field.
Starting point is 00:10:07 I feel like they don't let shorties out there. I don't know. If you're a short king FBI or queen FBI agent get in touch. But also I think we've said ACAB enough times that they're not listening to anyb. Also, I thinkthat ACAB, stop painting it all over my neighborhood, like on my neighbor's house, or on the coffee shop at the end of my blog? No, that's fucked. I will say the up, the reverse of that in that I went to go get bagels the other day, and
Starting point is 00:10:39 there's a mural outside of the bagel shop and one of the little animals is wearing an ACAB pin. It was like, I I into a piece of art, totally. But just like don't, first of all, don't tag people's homes. No, that's my neighbor lives there. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah, forget it. We can cut all this.
Starting point is 00:10:55 No, no, no, is old woman yells at cloud. No, I think you're solid. Anyway, cops hate us, that's fine. So, but if you're an FBI agent, maybe you hate cops too, get in touch. And are you short? Are you short? Are you a little tiny-cux? Do they measure you before you got a job? Can you, can you discriminate on someone against the, you know, about their their their, their, the, the, the, the, the, the, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, th. C. C. C. C. C. C. C. C. C. C. C. C. C. C. C. C. C. C. C. C. C. C. C. C. C. C. C. C. C. C. C. C. C. C. C. C. C. C. C. C. C. C. C. C. C. C. C. C. C. C. C. C. C. C. C. C. C. C. C. C. C. C. C. This, th. This, th. I, th. I, th. I's, th. I'm, th. I'm, th. I'm, th. I'm, th. I'm, th. I'm, th. I'm, th. C. Can you discriminate on someone against the, you know, about the basis of their height?
Starting point is 00:11:27 Is height's not a protected class, is it? I mean, I think in the military you can, because they're not able to do certain things. That's what I'm saying. Yeah. That's what I'm saying. You think outside of Quantico, you must be this like swing the pole around and like clears their head. They're like, I'm sorry, you're going to have to go. Point of order.
Starting point is 00:11:48 Jody Foster. How tall is Jody Foster? She's tiny. Is she tiny? Yeah. Do you remember the scene where she's standing in the elevator at the beginning of Sons and the lambs with everybody? Yeah, you're right. And everyone, and everyone, and everyone, and everyone, and everyone, and everyone, and everyone, and everyone, and everyone, and everyone, and th. And, th. And, th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. thi. th. th. th. th. th. th. thi, thi, thi, th. Yeah, th. Yeah, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to their. Yeah, th. Yeah, th. Yeah, th. Yeah, th. Yeah, th. Yeah, th. Yeah, to th. Yeah, to th. to to the. to to th. they. they. the the the tho. the tho. the the. to the to to to to to to. So, cut back to Reggie, which is not his name, but Jason is his name. Jason is his name, but also earlier when Samarrow Weaving was out on the street, a woman said like, hey, Jason, to another person? Oh, really? Like in the background? And I thought, are you just trying to drop in like horror movie character names? Because I think actually yes. Yeah, instead of your slasher movie on Halloween, come on.
Starting point is 00:12:27 Come on. Come on. Come on. I know you're meta-hawr. I know. I know what you're doing here. So we learn that he has a roommate named Greg and that they are basically like obsessive college students regarding horror movies, particularly the all-important stab franchise, right, and that they, he killed his professor for giving him a C minus on his Gialo. Pretty good, his paper about G. Alo. How did he do with the pronunciation? He did well. He got the little D-G sound. Gialo. He was wearing a, for those playing along at home, a four flies on gray velvet in Italian
Starting point is 00:13:12 shirt, which is a Dary Argento movie. We are told later that he's obsessed with Argento. Yeah, you're like, yeah, probably. And I was like, yeah, nice, nice touch. Going with a deep-cut argento on a baseball tea, no less. Yeah, that was Barry T-Public.com backslash, user, back slash, slash, slash, wear off ambulance, if you want some cool baseball teas. Can I be petty?
Starting point is 00:13:34 Of course, that's why we do this. I was very bummed to see two other podcasts on his walls, in poster form. I didn't see them. Last podcast on the tha tha tha tha tha touch touch tha touch touch touch tho-s tod tho-s tho-s tho-s tho-s, tho-a-a-a-s, the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the th. I. I. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. th. th. th. that. that. that. that. that. that. that. th. that. th. th. th.ambula. Oh yeah, for sure. Yeah. Bitter murder bands? They love us. He's on a target demographic. Over 35-year-old bitter murderments. Yeah. So, we did see Samaro, we even get brutally murdered or she didn't even talk about, just stabbed
Starting point is 00:14:19 the jeezezous out of her mouth. Yeah, and her beautiful yellow dress. Yeah. So Jason has done this without Greg. They had planned to do it together, but he said he had blue balls and had to? Is that how that works? Yeah, if you can murder blue balls.
Starting point is 00:14:38 Okay. I don't know. But they are they are there they are to finish to finish to finish to finish to finish to finish to finish to finish they are to finish to finish to finish to finish to finish to finish to finish to finish to finish to finish to finish to finish to finish to finish to finish they are there to finish Richie's film by killing Sam and Tara and I was like okay who's Richie and who are Sam and Tara? That was the last movie. Ritchie is the young quaid boy. That's right he's the quaid, um, not Griffin, who is his mom? Oh, Meg Ryan. Meg Ryan. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:15:08 So then his roommate Greg plays the warmer, colder game with him. I have always heard that called Hot and Cold, not Cold and Warmer as he calls it. It's a real hide-and-clap situation. Yes, it is. Maybe that's a reference, who can say? Hot and cold is a, it's trademarked. They had a camera inside their house, which, ick. Yeah. Why do people do this? It's so gross to me. I don't know. I just watched, as I was telling you earlier, I watched the second paranormal activity movie so I could take a nap.
Starting point is 00:15:39 So I could take a nap so it would lull you it to dream. Sometimes she just put on a th just just just just just just just just th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th thus thus thus thus thus thus thus tho tho thus thus thi thi tho tho tho tho tho tho tho tho tho tho tho tho tho tho tho thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi tho tho tho tho tho th. th. th. tho th. tho tho tho tho tho tho thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi to to to to to to to to to to to to to toooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo. tha. th you could take a nap so it would lull you it to dream. Sometimes just put on a horror movie when you go to sleep. Sure, like you do. Who doesn't love to just slumber with the screams of the innocent in your ears? Listen, you know I'm fucking broken inside, right? Yeah, me too. Sometimes I'll just be like, I'm just gonna put on Slayer and take a nap. So like... Just whatever relaxes you may do. Yeah, exactly. But yeah, they put cameras in every room in their fucking house.
Starting point is 00:16:11 And it's just like, who would do this? I realize it's for the movie. Sure. So we can have a movie. Yeah, there has to be a movie. Yeah, we should do too. It sounds like you slept through it so you can just watch it again. So yes, they play warmer, colder. We eventually get to, Greg is in the fridge.
Starting point is 00:16:31 All cut up. So this is the goryest of these movies, yes? I think so. I don't recall any of the others being this gory. I was shocked by that. I was shocking and not in a bad way. Yeah, yeah, yeah. And I was also like, yo, we know who she is. She would whip that dude's ass. Yeah. Like, she's the babysitter, man. Come on. She's ready or not? She's gonna who who who'll whoop all that ass. I was sad that she had the Dr. Barry Moore, told me. Yeah. Yeah, yeah. I wanted more sommorrow weaving.. Sorry, but who gets a nighttime therapy appointment on Halloween? I guess it's not actually Halloween, they're just scarecrows outside, but. It must be like the Saturday before Halloween. I guess, yeah. Yeah. We meet back up with Sam Carpenter.
Starting point is 00:17:23 Did you remember her? No, not at all. I was like, was she, was she in the last movie? Yes, she was, she killed people in it. Yes. But I did not remember her at all. I was like, oh no, Jenna Ortega did everything the last movie. She was the only cast member, right? Interesting. I like that you have only have eyes for Kirby and Jenna Ortega, whatever her character's name is. Are you a tiny lady in a screen franchise?
Starting point is 00:17:49 I remember you. Yeah, Neff Campbell looking at you. Uh, so at this point my theory that I wrote to myself is everyone's the killer. They're all the fucking killers, including the therapist because I found him very cagey, and also, again, nighttime therapy? Yeah???? th.? th, th, th, th, th, thi? Yeah? Yeah, thi? Are, thi? Are, thi? Are thi? Are thi? Are thi? Are thi? Are thi? Are thi? Are thi. Are thi. Are thi. Are, thi. Are thi. Are, thi. Are, are, are, are, are, are, are, are, are, are thi. Are, are thi. Are, are thi. Are, thi. Are thi. Are, thi. Are, thi. Are, thi. Are, thi. Are, thi. Are, thi. Are, thi? Are, thi? Are, thi? Are, thi? Are, thi. Are, thi. Are thi. Are thi. Are thi. Are you, thi., everyone's the killer. They're all the fucking killers. Including the therapist because I found him very cagey and also again, nighttime therapy appointment? Yeah, that George Lucas beard is just given off, like you could probably murder vibes. Yes.
Starting point is 00:18:13 Oh, speaking of that, they could all be fucking vampires, the, uh, the, Danzig is going to con. So get stoked. So, to the to get st stoked, the the the the the the the the the the to the the the to the the the the the the the thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, the, the, the, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, t, t, t, t, t, t, t. t. t. t. t. t. t. t. t. t. t. t. t. t. t. I need to see dancing in France in a fishnet t-shirt walking down the red carpet. I am stunned. Knock me over with a feather. I can't wait. You guys laughed at the parts that I wouldn't have laughed at. Poor bastard. So sad. No self-awareness. Then again, we're doing this, so. I also totally forgot that Skeet O'Rick was her dad and that he appeared to her in reflections.
Starting point is 00:18:58 At least they didn't try to make him look a whole lot younger this time. You don't think he looked like a baloney mask? Well, I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I th. th. th. You th. You th. I th. You th. You th. You th. You th. You th. He looked like he was wearing a baloney mask? Well, I thought he looked very old, so I thought that was more tasteful. It was old baloney. Yeah. What a weird fucking idea. They don't have to do that. We would be fine if they didn't do it. I would like it better if they didn't. Yeah, don't do that again movies. We know there's gonna be more of the their. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. their. their. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. th. th. the, th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. the. the. the. to. th. the. th. the. th. th. the. th. th. th. th. th of these. We're also told that, you know, there were rumors on the internet that Sam had framed Richie and his teenage bride? Yeah, the other one. Yeah, Richie and the other one for the killings in the last movie. And she's talking to her therapist about it. And he's like, eagerly writing down what she's saying. And she said s said s said s said s said s said s said s said the the the killing, the killing, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, tho, tho, tho, tho, tho, tho, tho, thi, thi, tho, tho, tho, tho, tho, tho, tho, tho, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, tho, tho, th. And, tooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooomomoomoomoomoomorrow, the, the,ly writing down what she's saying. And she said something like, and the killing it just felt right.
Starting point is 00:19:47 He was like, forget it, get out. I'm not equipped to deal with this. And I was like, he's definitely a bad guy, right? Yeah. What theaugh is? What's it? the the therap? And I'm going to do it again, but let's explore why I liked murdering.
Starting point is 00:20:05 They've just going to be soon, they're going, yeah, I'm going to write a book, I'm going to write a book, I'm going to write a book, I'm going to write a book. I'm going to write a book. I'm going to to their theo' the theater is like, hey, do you want to just come back? I don't know, later, not now, maybe when you figure the shit out on your own. Yeah, once you think on it and get back to me. Don't you give yourself 130 bucks a visit and figure out the fuck's going on. Oh my god, we are out of it today. So the shrink threatens to her reporter threatens to report her reporter threaten threaten threatens to report her for saying that she enjoyed murder, I guess. What?
Starting point is 00:20:47 Yeah, that's weird. Why would he threaten her? I don't know. I thought he was just going to be like an internet guy trying to get information on her. Oh yeah, yeah, yeah. Also, how did he not know about this whole murder thing up until now? What have they been talking about? is gone by. Yeah, and she's clearly going there often. Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm. And then she leaves therapy because she's mad at him because he's being a dick and walks by a crime scene and it's like,
Starting point is 00:21:12 oh no, and I was like, oh ma'am, you should not have moved to New York City then. No, probably safer places for you to have gone. I've been to New York City a handful of times and have seen have seen many crimes. Yeah, okay. Cities are dangerous. It's true, and when you go to the biggest one, it's going to be a problem. I was being sarcastic, but okay. I mean, the more people you get to an area, the more problems are going to have, right? Oh, boy. Yeah, I guess so. I mean, that's what's wrong with America! the bear! Yeah! Alan is approaching 50. Just a magahat grows out of my head.
Starting point is 00:21:47 No! What happened? So Sam goes home to feed Tara, I guess. No! What happened? So Sam goes home to feed Tara, I guess. She's gotta put out her bowl. Their apartment is furnished like a fancy middle-aged lady lives there.
Starting point is 00:22:09 I am baffled by this scenario. I was, when Tara goes and laid out her bed later and I was like, who at 20 whatever she's supposed to be had linens that were that nice? No, no, definitely not. You went to Goodwill, you put whatever sheets would fit your bed. I bought the sheets that came with the apartment. Oh, sure. Bought the bed, got a set of sheets too. Yeah. Gross. We then cut to a frat party where Tara is, and Sam is upset that she's there. Yeah. And we see
Starting point is 00:22:45 someone go, who's drinking? Let's party. It's like, yeah, party talk. Good improv guy. Good job. Just say things you would naturally say at a party. Who's drinking? Let's party. Okay, all right. Mmm. Beer. Mmm. beer! And then we cut back to the apartment where we meet Quinn, the roommate who loves fucking. Yeah, that, she's sex positive. And apparently she was in the Haunt movie that we did. The attraction where the people had their faces look like the mask that they were wearing. Hmm, she must have been so-and-so, or what's her name? Yeah, I think she was who's a... Yeah. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Well, she
Starting point is 00:23:28 wasn't the main character, was she? She may have been. And I think she looks very different in this movie from the movie. Okay. But, you know, acting. Great. So it's the Omega Kappa Beta Party. Okay. And then there's some there's the the there's there's there's the the the the the the the the the their their their their their their their their their their their their their th. th. th. thi. th. th. th. thi. thi. thi. thi. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. their their their their their their their their their their their their their th. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I. I. I. Yeah. I's th. I's th. I's th. I's th. I's th. I's th. I's th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. I th. I th. I was. th. th. I was Okay. Mm-hmm. And then there's some guy who's trying to sexually assault a trunk woman. Yay. Frankie is very gross. And then Chad fights him. Chad is the Gooding, the Gooding Junior boy. Yes. Not a junior, but we shall call him that.
Starting point is 00:23:59 Cudding, Cuba, Gooding, Junior, Junior, Junior. Yeah. Can we just call him Junior? Is that okay? Sure, great. Not his name. Not his name. I thought he was gonna kiss that other guy and I was like, well, this is nice.
Starting point is 00:24:17 Because they were just like getting in each other's faces and saying cutesy things. When he's like trying to pump Ethan up? Yeah, yeah. I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. C. C. C. C. C. C. C. C. C. C. C. C. C. C. C. C. C. C. C. C. C. C. C. C. Cuba. C. C. C. C. C. C. C. C. C. C. tha. C. Yeah, I guess so. Yeah. I have a question. Yeah. So this movie is extremely referential of other movies specifically in the costume as people are wearing. Definitely. Do you remember that movie that we did with Simba?
Starting point is 00:24:34 Yes. Yes. Do you think that kid Ethan's armor made out of cardboard was mimicking murder party? I bet it was. That is That is a movie that you would reference to be like, I am very good and clever. Yeah, yeah. It's a very funny movie. It's a very good movie. I'm not re-watch that. Yeah, I miss Simba. Yeah, me too. Hi Simba. How are you? You listen to buddy? touch. Maybe. Down thenthen, well we won't give away where he is. Never mind. No. I can't. No. Can't. No. Can't. Docs him. So, yeah. Chad fights the guy. I had forgotten
Starting point is 00:25:11 that he was in the previous movie too. I did not recognize him until I saw Mindy who I remembered. Every time someone came on screen I would go to the wikiped and like, oh yes, the twin. the. thehehehehehehehehehehehehe-a. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. thi. thi. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah......... Yeah............................................................. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. t. t. t. t. t. t. t. t. t. t. t. t. t. t. the twin. The twin, yes, they're Randy's niece and nephew, which it took me halfway through the movie until one of them says, by the way, I am Randy's niece and or nephew. This is how Randy died. Yes, I'll always remember that because I was a teen when that happened. And Sam shows up at the party and says my favorite line in the movie, good. I'm going to teach you you you you you you you you you you you you you you you thage you to to to to to to to to to to to thage you to to to to the ball to to to to to the ball to to the in the balls real quick. I don't think you can do that. I think that's actually a salt. Is it? If someone's trying to drag your sister upstairs, tase them nuts. Tase them nuts!
Starting point is 00:25:52 I guess so. In the last episode we encourage people to stab sexual predators in the crotch. Did we really try to to be really careful with this advice this this this this this this this this the this the the their their their their their their their their their tase them balls! Man, we gotta be really careful with this advice we're giving out. Maybe we need a lawyer. Look forward to her tase them balls t-shirts coming out soon. Look at you, Justin Gray. Tase them balls. So then Sam is assaulted on the street as they're walking away from the party?
Starting point is 00:26:22 Right, a woman thrown her and is like, you murdered them, you know what you did. Psycho girl. She tries to tase her too, which I liked. I'm gonna tase your lady balls. Cuba Gooding Jr. Junier loves Jenna Ortega. Yeah, who doesn't? We're told that Sam has a thing thing thing thing thing across the way that they call cute boy, but he's a goddamn grown-ass man. He's cute enough, I guess, but he's a little old and carrying a six-pack of corsealite bottles, which is not a thing a young man does.
Starting point is 00:26:58 Agree or disagree. Agree, especially not in 2023. No. Oh, man. Yeah, so they they tear it and Cuba into each other. What's the gentleman saying? What is it? Mason? I think. Uh, Mason. Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, Mason. Uh.
Starting point is 00:27:22 So then, what happens after that? Oh, I don't know. It's revealed that Sam and Cute Boy are lovers. Oh yeah, yeah. Yeah. When we see the ghost face murders on the news, now they're all freaking out. Right, and someone is like, maybe it's a coincidence and it's like, scream fucking six, dude, it's never a coincidence.
Starting point is 00:27:43 But this is where we find out that the killer was obsessed with Argento. Right, right, right. And also, like, is it weird that Mindy, after living through the events of the last film is taking a class in 20th century slashers? She just loves horror movies. I guess she loves making us all look a little bit bad? Agree or disagree. Yeah. But she's probably. She's the c-a the c-a the c-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-s the th-s th-s thi-s thi-s thi-s thi-s thi-s thi-s thi-s thi-s thi-s thi-s thi-s thi-s thi-s thi-s thi-s. th-s th-s th-s th-s th-s th-s th-s th-s th-s. th-s th-s. th-s thiii-s. thi-s thi-s thi-s thi-s thi-s thi-s thi-s thi-s thi-s thi-s thi-s thi-s thi-si-siiiiiauiauiauiiiauiauiiiiiiiiiiiiiiauiiiiiiii-s. But she's probably the coolest person in this movie. She's the one I'd most want to hang out with.
Starting point is 00:28:10 Yeah, yeah, yeah. She's wearing her lavender menace t-shirt later on. It's like, yeah, it's pretty cool. It's cool. So the way we find out that Quinn's father is the cop in charge of this investigation. Yes, so she calls her dad and a phone starts ringing in the apartment. I was like, what is Quinn's dad doing here? Exactly! So weirdly, so weirdly shot.
Starting point is 00:28:31 Why did that happen? I think they're just trying to constantly get you guessing as to who the murder is and where they are at all times. Oh my god, because it isn't Quinn's phone ringing. It's Sams. And she's getting a phone call from whom? Richie, who I then remembered was her, I thought, husband, boyfriend. This is when Gail Weathers calls. Oh, okay, okay.
Starting point is 00:28:53 Yeah, yeah, yeah. Why is Gail Wethers calling to just get her take on this? Yes. I gotta say something, though. Yeah. I don't say to say someone's appearance. Her mouth is enormous. Yeah. She looks like killer clowns from outer space and it makes me sad because she's a gorgeous woman. Yeah. And just like, oof. It's got to be somewhat addictive. I'm sure. You know, I can't presume to know, but dude. Yeah. Your mouth is way too big. It felt weird this time. Yeah, I couldn't look at her when she talked. Yeah. Yeah. I. the the the the the the the the the the th. Yeah, I, I, I, I th. Yeah, I th. Yeah, I th. Yeah, I th. Yeah, I th. Yeah, I th. Yeah, I th. Yeah, I the the the the the the the the the their. Yeah, I th. Yeah, th. Yeah, their. Yeah, their. Yeah, their. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah, the the the th. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah, I th. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I th. I th. I the. I the the. I the the the the the the the the the th. I th. I the th. I the th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. Yeah, I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. Yeah, th. Yeah, the th. I mouth is way too big it felt weird this time yeah yeah I couldn't look at her when she talked yeah yeah and then there's like a
Starting point is 00:29:30 picture of a young her that she's looking at one boy and I was like god damn yeah just get old I bet you would have been a lovely looking old sure sure sure although I will say like all the people are like look at Jamie Lee Curtis she just she just got old and I was like, yeah, she's also Jamie Lee Curtis. Yeah, she can do whatever she wants. But also like, she's, she drew well from the gene lottery. Sure, sure. Not all of us age so gracefully. No, that's true.
Starting point is 00:29:58 Not disparaging Jamie the Curtis, but just don't judge other people by how other people look when they're growing older Yeah, but yeah, I agree like I was just like This is hard. This is hard to deal with like they're weird or something. Yeah But do what you want to fucking face who cares? I guess so how did you feel about Dermon Moroni being the dance? Oh my god, oh,ermit Mulroney! Oh my god! What is wrong with me? That's the whole reason we suggested to you. He was in Scream 6. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:30:34 No, yeah, you did tell me that. Well, that was gone from my brain. I'm so sorry. I also didn't recognize it. Did you recognize it the entire film? Look, I don't love Dermet Mulroney the way you love Dermit Mulroney. You do, though. It's part of my character for the show.
Starting point is 00:30:50 It's part of you. It isn't. How many Romcombs have you seen with Dermit Molrony? Of my own volition? A lot. Yeah. Bailey. I love that you didn't recognize him. Dude I have I got to I'm not well. Oh buddy. I'm fine. I'm just I smoke too much weed that's not what it is. So he's at the crime scene and find Sam's ID and he's like I need to talk to you at the station.
Starting point is 00:31:26 Right. So then she gets the call from the dead boyfriend. Right. Which I wrote Robbie, but that's not his name. It's Richie. Yes. And does she pick it up here? Yeah, because it's ghost face calling her.
Starting point is 00:31:42 Not the cool ghost face. No. It's ghost face calling. Okay, right. Yeah. Not the cool ghost face. Not ghostface, Kila. Kila's on the swarm. She's the viral clip of a method man watching the woman do sign language during a Wu-Tang set and getting so excited about it. No, I love that. I will watch it. She does like, they say in like 9mm-millimeter and she does the gun and then puts it back back back backster. Oh wow, did you love that? He was very excited about it.
Starting point is 00:32:06 I love that. They're still good in this world. Thanks Method Man. Thanks, method man. See, it's a ghost face. See, it's a ghost case is going to show the world who she really is. Right. This is just sort of like the danger of internet conspiracy theories. Exactly. The motifs of this film and you're kind of like, okay but do you mean like true crime? Yes.
Starting point is 00:32:34 Yeah. Do you, I don't have an iPhone. No. Can you just send a picture to be the phone ringing photograph to someone? Like she had deleted all of hints information. No she said she never deleted his contact yeah. If you call me it's a picture of you on my phone. Did you not save a picture of me in your phone? No I don't know where it comes from. How does it know you? How does my phone know you? Do you know my phone? You have smoked too much weed. I'll never see my own face. I'll tell you what, speaking of faces there. I do really like
Starting point is 00:33:16 the distressed scream ghost face mask. I think that's a nice touch. I think it's like a little bit spookier than you expect because ghost face has become so silly. I think it's like a little bit spookier than you expect because ghost face has become so silly. I think it's like a nice little, a nice little subtlety there. It was also funny because I was thinking right before we see the distressed face in full view that like Michael Myers every movie the prop guy does a new or prop person does a new Michael Myers mask and they're always dukey. They're always duky. And so it's like, oh, the screen one is just like an over-the-counter screen mask, they never change it. And then they were like here, but actually we did. Oh, yeah. But it was fine. Yeah, I think it looked cool and it gave like something to this this movie. I thought it was tase the th. the th. the th. th. the th. It was th. It was th. It was the th. It was th. It was thi. I was thi. I was thi. I was thi. I was like, thi. I was like, the thi. I was like, their. thi. the thi. their. their. their. their. their. their. their, their, their, their, their, their, their, the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the th. Oh, the th. Oh, th. Oh, the th. Oh, th. Oh, th. Oh, th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. the th. the th. the the th. the th. the the the the th. the the the the the the threat. Sure and it like works in the whole when we learn later from Mindy when she lays out that this is no longer a sequel it's a franchise.
Starting point is 00:34:10 Yeah. And therefore all the rules have changed. Okay. So like the fact that they change the mask for this one. Yeah. And there were subtle changes to the other ones once we start seeing them all together like the eye shape is subtly different and stuff. But so, the the the the the the the the th. So th. So th. So th. So th. So th. So th. So, th. So, th. So, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi. thi. thi. I was thi, the eye shape is subtly different and stuff. But so she was like, so the fact that they changed so drastically for this, was like, this is a new era. Did you like when she laid out all those rules or no? I mean, you have to do it, right? They have to do it in every fucking movie. I guess so. You've got to have the phone call at the thi, thi, thi, thin, thin, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, th reveal of the killers at the end. It doesn't make any fucking sense. No.
Starting point is 00:34:45 And it's also kind of who you thought it was the whole time. No, well, I did not. I had no fucking I, like I did, and definitely like, I watched this movie late. I started at like 10.30 last night. Oh, Alan, why do you dothe whole thing and I was like, I'll stop it at like 1130 and I'll watch the other hour. But at 1130 I was like, I gotta fucking know who this killer is. Yeah, and I'll say this movie moves it a good clip.
Starting point is 00:35:11 Like it is well paced and engaging the whole way through. For its two hour time stamp, it definitely like moves. I wasn't mad about it. You know they have that about it. I th about bodega? Yeah! How was that part of the plan? Because you know they have a gun. You're coming in with a knife and there's several of them. Is this the first time that Ghost Face kills with a gun? Dude, I don't know. Yeah, I couldn't remember if he, I thought it was always like knives or improvised weapons previously. Yeah, maybe. The gun seemed to know.
Starting point is 00:35:45 I'm sure someone out there's yelling like, don't you remember Parker Posey shot in the forehead scream? Three minute 78. And I don't, I don't remember. I didn't remember Dermit Mulroney, so pull together. Yeah, just three innocent bystanders are murdered in this. Yeah, and like, it didn't like it because it feels like too in the news right now. When like there's all these news stories about like people getting in between and
Starting point is 00:36:16 assail it and somebody and ended up murdered because of it and it's just, it's not fun. Yeah, it's not fun. Not that any of the murder should be fun, but these especially hurt. I mean, watching people be murdered on a television screen is like essentially our hobby. Sure. So, yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah, yeah. Yeah. We see a crumpled can of coarse edge? I was wondering if that's a thing. I forgot to, here's where I wrote myself the note, look up
Starting point is 00:36:50 Coors Edge. I wanted to be a coarse energy drink. Oh, it's non-alcoholic. Oh, okay. Edge. Like straight edge? Oh, nailed to the mountains. Okay, so it contains no more than 0.5% alcohol, so can you drink it if you're straighted? No. That's too much. Yeah. Okay. You could be like the straight people I knew
Starting point is 00:37:15 who would not use mouthwash? Dude, you're gonna get to injuitis. I mean you can still brush. You don't towash. I like mouthwash, but I don't floss because I think it's a conspiracy. Oh yeah, yeah, I got tight teeth, got a floss. Oh, wow. Flossing is just, that's big floss that's telling you that. Or my dentist. Yeah. In the pocket of a big floss. I totally thought that this attack in the bodega until that first guy gets stabbed. I was like, oh, this is going to be red herring.
Starting point is 00:37:47 Okay. Yeah, I can see that. Because we don't normally get like so many murders so early. We've never really known him to murder someone unrelated to the events either. Sure. Right, right, right. Just random murders. Yeah. And also I thought, well, there's a security camera inside that store, certainly, because it's a bodega in New York City. Now Sam will no longer be a suspect. Sure. But I think she still is. Yeah, 100%. Well, here I wrote, everyone is the killer, including Quinn's dad. They're all the fucking killers. Once guess how many times I wrote that.
Starting point is 00:38:23 I feel like this movie hits that harder than any of these movies ever have. It's just like everyone in every scene is a possible murderer. Yeah. I remember being genuinely surprised when Skied Allrick was the killer, one of the first time I saw a scream. Oh really? But not the other one. Matthew Lillard? I might have been But not the other one. Matthew Lillard?
Starting point is 00:38:45 I might have been surprised by that too. And then I thought, oh my god, are they going to drag him back out for this movie? Because I would fucking love that. They don't. When does he get to come back? Everybody else does? Too busy making those Scooby-dooves. Freddie Fridz Jr. has aged out of being Fred. So we learned that the DNA on the scream mask that they found at the first crime scene has Richie's DNA on it.
Starting point is 00:39:15 Right. The killer from the last movie. Yes. Oh right, because the killer keeps dropping the masks. Yes. So the first murder had the masks. Yes. Okay. So the first murder had the most recent murderers' mask DNA. Right. Yes. And this one has the Colkin boy and Julia Roberts' knees. Yeah, and I was like, is that?
Starting point is 00:39:39 Oh, I guess that was four. Yeah. Yeah. Three, held up two fingers three is Parker Posey oh is the one with Parker Posey in it where they're making the making of stab I think and that's Timothy Oliphant and that's two that's two the guy making the movie was the killer in three oh that's the one that only has one killer there's not two people working on it okay okay I don't even remember who the fuck that was he he's the the the the the the th is th is th is th is the th is th is th is th is the th is th is th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. thi is is th. th. the is is is the is thi is thi is the is the is the. the. the. the is the is the. the is. the. the is. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. thi is thi is thi is thi is thi is the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. thi. the. the. thi is the. the in three? Oh, that's the one that only has one killer. There's not two people working on it Correct. Yeah. Okay. I don't even remember who the fuck that was he is some dark-haired man with an I name that begins with our early's his character does. Okay.
Starting point is 00:40:12 Let me pull him up to quick everyone right now is screaming at me and you as well They don't come here for expertise. No, we come here for friendship and hilarity. Scott Foley. was never going to come up with that. Oh, R. Scott Foley. I'm like, that's Scott Fitzgerald. So this is when Kirby shows up. She's like, I'm the FBI and I claim jurisdiction. FBI office out of Atlanta, I take a special interest in ghost phase attacks. What? How do they let you specialize in that? She's also had some work done.
Starting point is 00:40:48 Oh boy. Has she? Yeah. Like did her face, she's like, I'm gonna remote right now. Pucks me out, man. May just be her acting prowess. Yeah, that could be. You do love her though.
Starting point is 00:41:01 She's great. She was on the show, was it, heroes? And, and, and, and, and, and, and, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, the the the the the the th. th. th. th. thi, thi, th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the the the the th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. to. to. to. to. to. the. th. th. the the the. the. the th. th. th. th. th. th. th. She's great. She was on the show, was it, Heroes? Yeah. And like the first season that was really fun and she was really good in it, she plays a cheerleader who can't die. So she keeps pushing it to see how far she can do things before like chopping off toes that grow back and stuff. So like I enjoyed that because I figured that's what I would do too. Can I get hit by a train? Let's see. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. the. the. the. the. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. I th. I th. She's the. She's the. I was like, the. I was like, theeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee. She was the. She was the.rain? Let's see. Let's find out. So Gail Weathers shows up. Oh right, she's outside the police station. She gets clocked by Jenna or Taka. Yeah. So Sam goes to punch her and Gail Ducks. And she's like, this is on my first rodeo and then Tara punches her, which I laughed at. Yeah, yeah, yeah. But also it's just such a callback, I mean, like, do we have to remember every time Gail
Starting point is 00:41:49 Wethers has been punched in the face? It's one of the things that you have to do in these movies, right? I guess. I guess so. what happened, which has happened multiple times in these movies. Why would anyone ever trust this woman with anything? Gail Withers is a bad person. She's out for herself. She's out for herself.
Starting point is 00:42:11 Yeah. Gail's here for Gail. Yeah. The therapist gets killed by the ghost face so they could steal the records from him. No. Because if they're still trying to frame Sam, we saw her being attacked. I mean, like... She could have set that up though, right? I don't know how these movies work.
Starting point is 00:42:34 I mean, it's just this bit is frustrating. You figure at this wood, I would. I would understand. I also hate that the therapist had mismatched wood floors in that beautiful home. Oh, I didn't notice. I like, did not like that at all. Also, like, that guy wouldn't have a ring doorbell, come on. And he was watching invasion of the body snatchers, the OG. Yes. Yeah. And he gets stabbed through the glass of the door, which I Yeah. Yeah. We hear red right hand. We do, hear it again, second time. We get the franchise rules.
Starting point is 00:43:10 We get everyone as a suspect, trust no one. Quinn says something about having lost her brother. So she's definitely the killer. Sure. Everybody's the fucking killer. Sure. But then she gets killed. Because the cute boy, sees the ghost face in her room.
Starting point is 00:43:26 Right. And we see her get killed, which leads to a reveal later on the movie that I fucking hated when he's like, I was the first cop on the scene so I could switch out the bodies. And I was like, you pulled a body along with you? Yes, how did you do? No, he says like a couple prosthetics and no one could tell the difference. And I thought, no, that's a murder victim. They will swab that person all over for DNA. Up and down. I do not understand that at all. It was a bad part of the reveal. It was a bad part of the reveal. Yeah, that is good that they
Starting point is 00:43:59 do this whole recap on the big board so that you can see who all the killers were. It should just be an option to keep up up up up up up up up up up up up up up up up up up up up up up up up up up th. th. th. th th th th th th th th th th thi thi thi the thi. their thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi, thi, thi. thi. thi, thi, thi, th. th. that that that that that that that that that that that th. that that that that th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. thi, thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. the the. the. the the. the the theeeeeeeeeeeeee. theeeeeeeeeeee. theeeee. the. the. the. ththat you can see who all the killers were. It should just be an option to click on it so you can keep up with what's going on. Yeah, like pop up video but more interactive. Because I mean really these are it's we're what we're we're 12 hours deep into this franchise now. Sure. We're three Lord of the Rings movies deep into this franchise and just like wow yeah there's a lot to remember. There is and this movie what this movie presupposes is that you never want to see the earlier ones because now you know. Yeah or that you were high during the earlier ones and you're going to get reminded about what you saw. Well one and two I remember very well and I wish Timmy O'Liffan could come back. One I remember.
Starting point is 00:44:44 Yeah. So, Cute Boys ironing a t-shirt which I find offensive. No one does that. And so we've got Sam and Tara and Mindy and Chad sitting around a table talking about how they're the core four and it's just the four of them against the world and the four of them for them and then you look in the living room and Anacos just sitting there on the couch I was like she's just being totally excluded from all that table conversation she should go home. She should know that she's going to die because no one cares about her not even her girlfriend no just like to truly thu th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th thus thus thus thus like thus thus thus to to to the to the thus thus the to to to the the the the to the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the th. th th th th th th is th is th is the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the they they they they's the they the to to to to to to to to tooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo to to to totrust you. Yeah. I assume that you could be the killer, so.
Starting point is 00:45:26 Oh yeah, yay. So yes, cute boy sees, does he ever get a real name? I don't know. Cute boy sees ghost face in Quinn's room. And instead of calling Sam on the phone, he just shouts. B. B. B. B. the phone he just shouts. Babe, bub out the window.
Starting point is 00:45:45 And earlier there'd been a joke when Quinn had a lover in her room that said, Babe and they both go, babe? Babe. His name, surprising to me is Danny Brackett. Cute boy. I don't think they ever called him by that name. Yeah. So, Ghost Face comes busting out of Quinn's room, shoving her body at them.
Starting point is 00:46:12 I do love a good shoving of a body. Sure, you gotta toss a body every once in a while. And then they have to climb a ladder to escape their apartment to Q-Boys apartment? Yeah, like not climb a ladder, and so much as cross a gap with their apartment to Q-boys apartment? Yeah, like not climb a ladder and so much as I cross a gap with the ladder stretching the gap, spanning the gap. And Ghost Face grabs the end of it and just shakes Onica off of it.
Starting point is 00:46:33 And it was like a cheap plastic ladder, which made me go, well, I'm dying. There's no way I'm gonna try and clap across that I'm fighting the dude. Yeah, I would just take my chances. Give me part of that ladder to fight the guy with. Yep, and Quinn's dude is dead in the bathtub. Yeah, this new slam piece. So in so full reveal it's Quinn her brother and her father that are doing these murders. Right because Richie was the final member of their family. Yes. Which I guess even though he was super super close to these people Sam never met. No. Or did she just forget them? Like, because this movie, this franchise causes hibnesia. Yes. So who murdered that guy? What guy? The guy in the bathtub? Did Quinn do it or her brother do it? Quinn must have. Who murdered the people in the bodega? Any of the above?
Starting point is 00:47:27 Yeah, what are they doing? I don't know. I don't know. Supposedly this is all for revenge on Sam and Tara. And yet, they're willing to murder anyone who gets in their way. Yeah, it's all for revenge on them but also we wait no he doesn't really believe in the conspiracy theories of it he just wants to well she did kill Ritchie she did kill Ritchie so they want to kill her because she killed rich right got it
Starting point is 00:47:53 yes okay and they know that they can frame her for all the murders because there's the conspiracy theory out there yeah so they're using that to their advantage yeah I like Trump Oh boy Yeah. So they're using that to their advantage. Yeah, I like Trump. Oh boy. Um, did you like when Onaga got shaken off the ladder, how her face hit the dumpster and then it was all jacked up? Oh man, I felt so bad for her. Yeah, she was really a throwaway. All the collateral damage in this is so sad. So sad. Oh, yeah. Now Bailey's talking about his dead son. So like, yes, obviously obviously obviously obviously, that th. that has th. that has that has that has th. th. th. th. that has thi thi that has thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi. thi. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. thi. Yeah. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. theea. to thea. to thea. thea. thiiiiiiii. thi. thi. thi. thiing about his dead son so like yes obviously that has something to do with it. And then Gail Withers shows up with some information about the hideout of the kids who killed Smarrow Weaving. And it's this
Starting point is 00:48:39 movie theater that has this intricate like card access lock thing on it? How? Why? There's a want to play a game graffiti outside? Yeah, and the ghost face group like mural? Ghost face? Yeah. So inside the movie theater is like a shrine to all of the stab incidents. All the murders. Yeah the murder slash the movies I don't because they have the movies posters and the movie theater is like a shrine to all of the stab. Incidents, all the murders. Yeah, the murders slash the movies. I don't, because they have the movies, posters, and the actual murder. Right, yeah.
Starting point is 00:49:12 It's a little confusing. How did they get all of these weapons from the murder scenes? Isn't this evidence? Well, cops like money. Okay. Meanwhile, in the previous scene, Mindy has been slashed deeply across her upper arm. We see it bleeding profusely. And in this scene, she's just holding like a tote bag over it. She's fine. Healing tote. I guess. Yeah, a bag of healing. Yeah. So then, they're looking at all the memorabilia and Sam goes and looks at the one,
Starting point is 00:49:46 but, uh, the scream mask that's in its own case. Billy Lumas. And who shows up to talk to her? Skeet, Skeet. Skeet. Skeet. Skeet. Oreck shows up to talk about how she knows she loves to kill.
Starting point is 00:50:04 Wow. talk about how she knows she loves to kill. You're like, okay. I forgot all about this. Like, I was just. Forgot or erased. Yes. It's bad. It's very bad, very silly. Very silly.
Starting point is 00:50:17 There's a lot more of it in the last movie where he's like talking to her in the rearview mirror of the car and stuff. Yeah, it's very silly. Stim, they just come with this plan to use the sisters as bait in the park to catch the killer. Right. Which happened in like four? Two. That's how Jamie Kennedy gets killed. Oh, okay. I didn't realize he died so early on in the franchise. I know, way too early. Yeah. He had to get to get to that experience that that that that that that experience that experience that experience that experience that experience that experience that experience that experience that experience that experience that experience that experience that. that. that. that. that. that. that. that. the the the the the the their their th. their their their their th. their their their their their their their their their their their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. the their. the the to. the. ttttttte. te. te. te. te. te. te. te. te. te. te. te. te. t on on the franchise. I know, way too early, if you ask me. Yeah. He had to get to that experience. Oh, boy. Guys, I have to leave this movie franchise to go do my prank television show that's going to be on the air, I assume forever.
Starting point is 00:50:56 Forever. So, yeah, they do this whole thing in the park and Kirby is able to triangulate the call in 15 seconds. The call is coming from Gail's apartment. How they know where she lives. How they know? How they know. How they know. I also have this problem that no matter how many times I hear anyone say the phrase Upper West Side. Yeah. All I can hear is Janush from Ghostbusters too, and someone's like, where are you from anyway, Johnny? And he's like, the Upper West Side?
Starting point is 00:51:31 And that's the only way I can hear it. The up a vest side? Anyway, Gail is a fucking landline. And a hot boyfriend. Yes, who gets to say nothing? Nothing? Nothing. He's like, uh, Bob.
Starting point is 00:51:49 He's the suspected murderer for 30, 40 seconds. Easy? Did you ever suspect him? Yeah, because they like, he answers the phone when she gets the phone call, and he says it's for you, but they don't show his face, and then he walks back out of the the you're like he's gonna come back in the scream costume and murder her. I didn't even think that. Yeah. No, which is me, I guess.
Starting point is 00:52:09 No, that's a fair. I think I'd just given up. I think I'd just given up. I assumed everyone was a killer. I just give it up. This is when Scream broke me. in trying to get a gun out of a safe. I don't know what, there's four buttons, Gail. Ghostface kills her boyfriend and throws them through a wall or like a, like a, a free-sending shelf kind of thing. Yeah. Yeah. Um, Gail gets her gun. She shoots a lot.
Starting point is 00:52:37 Um. He ends up getting Gail with a piece of broken glass in the tum. Yeahum. Yeah. And you're like, Gail's probably not going to actually die. No. And she doesn't. No. Despite the fact that no one ever calls 911, 9-1-1. Time was a joke. Flavor Flav taught us then. I guess so.
Starting point is 00:52:53 The last words we hear Gail speak are, tel's bleeding out. Which, I don't know what that means. I can't, she's not coming back to the franchise. She had a pay dispute. Gail's bleeding out, Gail die. She lives! Rip Gale, or not, probably. So Sam decides she's going to sacrifice herself for her friends. They decide to lure him to a secure location, trap him inside and execute him, we're told. Uh-huh. And so they have to take the subway to do this. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:53:27 On Halloween, which is... Where anything can happen. On Halloween? Your sister could turn into a bat. Peeh! Peeh! Uh, something about the bass guitar. Wait.
Starting point is 00:53:43 I don't even know. Why would you rhyme that? I have an answer. It's cocaine. Cocaine. Cocaine. I told you at the time that I walked to do a museum and that was playing on a loop on a television set.
Starting point is 00:53:59 I was so excited. That's wild. Hey, scary. Creepy, crepe, trolley, wah-wah. Whoa, boh, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom. Yeah, I guess that's a hot bass line. Yeah. People who have not seen the film The Worst Witch or YouTube are just like, what are these fucking nutbars talking about?
Starting point is 00:54:26 I mean, if they're this far and they've thought that a few times. Yeah. My friend to me to listen to this, what the fuck are these people talking about? I love it. So Mindy gets left off the train with Ethan. Yeah, the whole time. Yeah. Yeah. When they're on the train car with everyone wearing a distinct Halloween or a distinct horror movie icon, what was your favorite? Um, I'm going to go with, despite it not being my favorite movie,
Starting point is 00:54:56 I'm going with Pinhead. I feel like Pinhead is a real commitment as a Halloween costume. Sure. Yeah. I got very excited that the Baba Duke. I didn't see the Bab't see the Babaduke. I felt like this was very much that scene in Cabot in the Woods where they have the whiteboard with all the different monsters on it. They were like people loved that. Let's do that. You know. It had, I mean, Freddy's, your Jason's, your pinheads, your pinheads, your pinheads. They were like Freddies. Fr Freddy. Fr Freddy. Fr Freddy. Fr Fr Fr Fr Fr Fr Fr Fr-f. Fr-f. It the, Fred, Fred, Fred, Fred, Fred, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, their, their, their, their, their, the, the, their, their, their, their, their, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the scene, I. I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I was, I was, I was, I was, I was, I was, I was, I was, I was, I their, I was, I. I th. I was. I th. I was. I was. I felt, I felt, I was, I was,, Michael Myers is. And I was like, is there somebody dressed like that professional surfer lady from It Follows? Oh yeah. She's in a really good movie called The Watcher, which is really good. Okay, I just saw her in something else. Was it something we did or something I watched on my own? Oh, how about that? I feel like she doesn't do a lot thos, but the thing she does are good. Yeah, like the guest and... Yes.
Starting point is 00:55:49 The one thing I saw that she was in that was very, very bad was where she like gets trapped by an AI kidnapper. Oh no. What? Yeah. That's all. That's all. Are you looking up the movie? I'm trying to see.
Starting point is 00:56:09 She's been in more things than I thought, but I can't figure out. Mica Monroe? Yeah, Micah Minro. I can't figure it out. I saw her in something. Okay. All right. Was it a British crime drama?
Starting point is 00:56:21 Couldn't have been? Was it an Australian crime drama because she's Australian. Could have a Are you a blonde actress? You're probably Australian. Yeah, right. So ghost faces on the train. Surprising to no one, there are multiple ghost faces on the train. Yeah, some are looking at them, some are not. Some are looking at the floor. Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm. And then Mindy gets stabbed. Through a scene. It was like like, the the light. the light. the light. the the the the light. the their their their their their their their, their, th. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. So, thi. So, thi. So, th. So, th. So, th. So, th. So, th. So, th. So, th. So, thi. So, thi. So, thi. So, thi. So, thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thii. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. Through a scene, that was like, would the lights go out for that long on a subway? Yeah, I mean, it's just like, it's a very long scene. So someone has to get stabbed here because one of these has to be the real ghost phase. Otherwise, this scene is just interminable for no reason. Also, when the lights go out for that long and everyone on the train goes, whoa!
Starting point is 00:57:05 I was like, no, that's not the reaction you have. You have the fuck away from me. Hands to yourself. Also, real miss on not having the stranger's masks on the subway. Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah. Yeah. Oh, boy.
Starting point is 00:57:19 they're going to say real miss on not having a stranger masturbating on this way. I mean who among us has not seen someone else's penis on public transit. Oh, ayay, yoy. Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah. Ugh. Anywho. Once a man just got on the 54 with me with no shirt on and sat down next to me, and I was like, you have to, no one's going to do anything about this? Jesus Christ. Yeah, I mean, you have the driver, you have the driver, you have the driver, you have the driver, you have to have to have to have the driver, you have to have to have the driver, to have to have to have the driver, to have to have to have to have to have to have to have to have to have to, to have to to to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to to to to. to. to. to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to. to. to. No, to. No, to. No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, thi. No, the the thi. No, thi. thi. the thi. the th. the th. th. th. th. tooooooooo. too. too. too. to to to to to to to to to to yeah. Sure. You have to, the driver, no, nobody? Okay, just
Starting point is 00:57:50 sit here next to me and sweat on me. Oh God. Anyway, Rip Mindy or probably not. Probably not. No. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Ethan gets her off the train and then some transit people are there to help. Yeah. And she's still talking and then some transit people are there to help. Yeah. And she's still talking and she's like, oh I was wrong again about who the killer is. Because it's not Ethan. Can't be. Couldn't be.
Starting point is 00:58:15 Not like there could ever be two screams. No. Or 12 or however many there are in this fucking movie. Uh, Brazilian. So they go back to the shrine but the hot guy isn't allowed in. You're not Woodsboro. Okay. Kirby's all, we're safe here and I thought, but why? It's a kill cage.
Starting point is 00:58:37 We're going to lock him in here and kill him. And then immediately, wait, we're locked in here and now we're going to get killed. Yeah, Kirby... Obviously that's to point the finger.Ck thiiiiiiiiiiiiiii toe toe toe thoe thoe thoe. thoe. thoom thoom thoom th. killed. Yeah, Kirby... Obviously, that's to point the finger at Kirby. Sure. But also, like, he's a real miss on her part as a law enforcement official. Yeah, well, she's lost her job as we learned. Well, no, she hasn't. He just says that. Right.
Starting point is 00:58:57 Okay. I just want to be sure that you knew that Kirby is gainfully employed. They fired Kirby two months ago for being mentally unstable. Chad and Tara finally kiss. Fear boner, I wrote. That fear boner, I guess. You know how murder is the most erotic that you could be around? Yeah, I mean, nothing is more of an aphrodisiac than being separated from your twin sister, who is most likely dead. And they have a conversation, he's like, I should have done that sooner. You should have done it sooner.
Starting point is 00:59:26 We could have done it a lot more. Ugh, I hate teens being romantic. I did love when they're now being chased by the killer and one of the mannequins gets their heads chopped off and Chad goes, Bannings! Yes, I did think that was very funny. Because during the franchise thing, they were laying out, like, there's gonna be more intense stuff, there's gonna be bannings. Yes. I think he's a very funny actor, actually.
Starting point is 00:59:51 Yeah. I think all of the leads in this are fun to watch. He's great in a movie called Book Smart, which of you haven't seen. Yeah, I've heard that's goodthere are all of a sudden... What? Thank you for being honest. Yeah, I mean... So yeah, so then... He picks up the camera from Gail's cameraman from the first movie, and I thought, how did
Starting point is 01:00:15 you get that? I'm sure the station would have taken it back. But he uses those as a weapon, which was fun. He did. And then all of a sudden there's two ghost phases. And they are both stabbing the ever-loving shit out of Chad. So much stabbings. Rip Chad, right? Of course, right? He's dead forever.
Starting point is 01:00:34 They do the double blood knife wipe? Yeah, which is cute. It's choreographed and Dermon Murroni is standing with twix twix twkicks twk, twk, twk, twk, twk, twk, twk, two, two, two, two, two, two, the two, the two, the two, thia, thia, thia, thage, thagu, thi, thi, thi, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th. th. And, th. And, th. And, th. And, th. And, th. And, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi-a, t thi-a''a'a'a'a'a'a'a'a'a'a'a'a'a'a'a'a'aix the two of them. Yeah. And he shoots Kirby. He sure does. Yeah. Yeah. And then I wrote, A, C, A, B. That includes Kirby.
Starting point is 01:00:54 And. This is where he talks about having switched out his daughter's body with a fake one. It literally, he says prosthetics. This movie, from beginning until 20 seconds before right now, I was on a thrill ride and joining the shit out of myself. Yes, you didn't know where it was going to end, but you were enjoying the journey. I was, or really was. The reveals in these movies are always the most disappointing thing.
Starting point is 01:01:20 Since the first one, the first one was fine. I think they, I think it has something to do with the end, and here, and here, and here, and here, and here, and here, and here, and here, and here, and here, and here, and here, and here, and here, and here, and here, and here, and here, and here, and here, and here, and here, and here, and here, the, the, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, they........................................................................................................................................ The first one was fine. I think they, I think it has something to do with the, and here's how I did it, Scooby-Doo. Sure, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. But this one particularly, and maybe it's because they had to explain what three people were doing the whole time, so the more explaining there was, the longer the sien was, and the longer you had to be longer the sienn't. the s the s the s the s the s the s the s the s the s the s the s the s the s the s the s the s the s the s the longer the longer the longer the longer the longer the longer the longer the longer the longer the longer the longer the longer the longer the longer the longer the longer the longer the longer the longer the longer the longer the longer the longer the longer the longer the longer the longer the longer the longer the longer the longer the longer you the longer you the longer you the longer you the longer you the longer you the longer you the longer you the s the s the s the s the s the s the s the s the s the s the s the s the s the s the sceneeeeean sceneean sc. the sc. thean sc. thean sc. thean sc. thean sc. thean sc. thean sc. thean. the. the. the. the. the sc. th. the all had to have like joke lines, like I got to I got to be a roommate with an alpha who was named Chad. Yeah, I was like that guy's not an alpha. Yeah, he seems sweet. Yeah, he seems fine. He seemed to really love his lesbian sister. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Oh yeah, yeah. And. And then I wrote is scream so about family? Like Fast and the Furious? Which is more Mia Familia. Because there's a lot of family shit in these. Every fucking movie?
Starting point is 01:02:12 Somebody's family members are grieved about something. Like, uh... Oh, fuck, what is her name? Who plays Billy Lumas's mother? Oh yeah, it's the comedian but I can't think of her name. Laurie. No. Fuck. Look it up.
Starting point is 01:02:31 I'm doing it. As soon as I read him to be like, this is why I'm getting Alzheimer's. Lori Metcalf. Lori Metcalf. She was so fantastic. Yeah. Oh, they. I was thinking it was somebody from Saturday Night Live, but no, it was, yeah, yeah, you were thinking of Rosian? Yeah. Great show. Too bad she's a terrible person. Oh, real quick, thank you for the people who let us know that Paul Walker, we should not be
Starting point is 01:02:53 mourning his passing so much. He've groomed young women. No, yeah, of course he did. Like his girlfriend at the time of his passing was like, gross. Gross. he th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi, thi, thi, thi, thi's to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to tho, tho, tho, tho, thi, thi, thi, tho, thi, tho, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi. Yeah, throooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo. Yeah, to to to passing was like I think they started dating when she was like 16. Gross. He wasn't. All right Paul Walker drive off a cliff then. And also Vin Diesel has been real shitted women. Really? Yeah and apparently it's awful to work with. Okay. So just saying. Can we keep like John Sina? As far as I know yeah yeah. I never really heard a bad thing about John Sina except he stepped in something about China in Taiwan and tai. the the the the the the the the the the th. the th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. he. he. he. he. he. he. he. And for that, I kind of feel like, we'll let you learn your lesson on that. But he also like taught himself Cantonese, like, he can speak it fluently. Okay. Yeah, like he's a super smart, interesting dude.
Starting point is 01:03:38 And he's done the most make wish, most of make a wish, a familiar. And he's going bald and trying to hide to hide to hide to hide to hide to hide to hide to hide to hide to hide to hide to hide to hide to hide to hide to hide to hide to hide to hide to hide to hide to hide it to hide it to hide it to hide it to hide it He's on the most amicouish, most amicableia. And he's going bald and trying to hide it real hard. Oh boy. You know what? I feel like a man of his means has a lot of ways to hide it. Sure. So just like, make it work. If Elon Musk can do it. So back to this movie. So, my next note just says, well, this movie really does need to end, though. And you've been going at such a good clip. Yes, and I feel like another thing that the Scream franchise always has to do is the big confrontation at the end with lots of running and being dead and then not being dead and jumping and falling and climbing. And after a while, there's so many characters to deal with in the scene. Yes. That it's the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the th. th. th is is th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. I is so th. I th. I feel. I feel. S. I feel. I'm. I the scene. Yes. That it takes forever. And there's so much like Kirby's dead. She's not dead. Bobbidi's dead and Dibbiddy dead. And
Starting point is 01:04:28 not and like so it just like it's not only the killers that are dead and not dead in this one it's the it's everybody is dead and not dead. This is where I wrote that this should have been called kills Dermit and then. Yes. She's using the voice modulator where did she get it? Yeah you can just buy it on eBay. And Hot Guy returns and he's fine and Chad is alive. Core four fine. Red right hand plays again. Yeah. And then she's got Billy's coat and Billy Lumas's coat and his mask. Yeah. And she throws away the mask and keeps the coat. I don't think that I care about Sam's dark side for Scream 7. No. Do you? Unless like she just goes on like an in cold
Starting point is 01:05:19 blood like murder rampage across the country. Yeah I would watch. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. If I don't have to figure out who the killer is, you know? Sure. Sure. I was kind of hoping with that like reveal of the guy, of the Jason guy at the very beginning, if we're like, okay, we just know who the killer is, let's see what therapist. Did you watch all the way to the end of the credits? What do you think? I did not either. Okay great. I was going to
Starting point is 01:05:49 and then the dog wanted to go outside and I'm like well it's like 1230 I'm going to fucking bed. Yeah that's a lot. People also got to go to bed. Do you know if something something happened? I don't. Well if it they it it it it it it it it it it it it it it it it did it did it did it did it did it did it did it did it did it did it the the the the the they it did it did it did it did it did it did it did it did it did it did it did it did it did it did it did it did it did it did it did it did it did it did it did it did it did. I, like you said, I think the first three quarters of it are great. Not great. Enjoyable. Yeah. If a little too tongue in cheek, which I think we felt has been building over the last several entries into the franchise. Yeah. Um, I didn't love it, but it's certainly better than the other movie we're recording this week. I'm gonna give it a six. I'm going to give it a V.
Starting point is 01:06:29 No. No, V. Pronounced V. There you. What are you? It's interesting because the franchise that started off as a look, like a naval gazing look at Slasher Movies has become naval gazing about its own franchise. Yeah. That it's just an oraborous at this point? Yeah. I really did enjoy, like all the actors are great in this. Definitely captivating
Starting point is 01:06:55 people to watch. I love all like the younger actors in this, I think they're fantastic. I was stoked that Kirby was back because I love the fact that she has like a justice for Kirby thing that happened. th, I th, I th, I th, th, because th, because th, because th, because th, th, like th, like th, like th, like th, like the, like thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the thi thi the thi the thi thi thi the thi, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, their, their, their, their, their, their, thi, thi, thi. And, thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. back because I love the fact that she has like a justice for Kirby thing that happened because they felt like she was robbed in the original movie she was in. Yeah. And then like- That's why they did the requal you see. Which so, but uh, I'm gonna give it a seven. Oh, wow. that much like every one of these fucking movies, the ending is shit. And it's no Timothy O' all thi all thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi, oh, oh, oh, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, th.. I th. th. th. th. that, that, that, that, that, th. I, th. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. like every one of these fucking movies, the ending is shit and it's no Timothy Oliphant going like,
