Though I did see that we sold a General's Gospital shirt today. Well I'm gonna need you to pick it up, pick it up, pick it up, pick it up at your mailbox because you can get it at T public.com back slash something

Okay speaking of thankful, boom. Roasted, but also I want to say the people at the work in the post office and my neighborhood are terrible. You would be too if you worked at that post office. It's a nightmare in there. It's just a hellscape. It's a refugee camp. I don't know what's happening. Someone is always screaming. Why? Are you so mad about mail? Do you have bulletproof glass at that one? Oh yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Sometimes they pretend like they can't hear you through it. I can hear you. I love that. The one that I go to some of the bulletproof glasses crack and I was like, what has been
Starting point is 00:01:28 happening? What happened at this post office? I feel like it's to protect them from themselves, truly. Going postal is a real thing. Also, pardon my voice, I've been working too much. It's raspy. I don't want to get any letters. I don't want to hear any letters about this. This is just how I sound now. Yeah, it's a real Lindsay Lohan vibes. Oh, thank you. I don't think it's that sexy. I think it's a little more,
Starting point is 00:02:05 maybe go home and lie down. But speaking of things you're thankful for. Yeah. It's the time of year. It is the season. It's. It's. It's. It's. It's. It's. It's. It's the time of year. It is the season. It's the season. To think of the things for which we are grateful and thankful in this Thanksgiving season. In February. It's February 22nd. I was reminded on our discord that at some point we had done an Eli Roth movie, I think it was the one where, uh, those women fucked Kana Kiannk. What th, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I th, I th, I th, I th, I th, th, th, th, th, it, it, it, it, it, it, it's th, it's th, it's th, it's thi, it's the the the the the thi, it's the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the th, it, it, it, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's th, it's th, it's th. th. thi, it's thi, it's thi. thi-a' theananananananananananannit-s theateateateateat-a. thi-a. thi. thi. think it was the one where those women fucked Keanu Reeves. What was that one? Knock knock, yeah. I always think about putting a dog to bed when I think about that movie because I had no idea you had to put a dog to bed before that. I remember telling you that I put my dogs to bed. Stunned. Anytime anyone anyone says knock knock, knock, I will not think about that weird, the the the the the the thki, thki, like thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, the thi. And, thi. So, thi. So'll think about putting a dog to bed. It's so I every night when I'm like reading my Kindle I close my candle and Apple's like okay hops off the bed and goes and lays down. Were you reading it aloud to her? Is it part of her
Starting point is 00:02:56 bedtime story? She just hears it close. I just love the idea that you read her a bedtime you got a routine you sing a song? Apple, you like a Chinese science fiction? Here we go. Oh no. So here we are in Eli Roth's, this is like our fourth Eli Roth movie. That was going to be the end of my story. I was reminded that when we did that movie, we said we'd never do another for Eli Roth movie. Well honestly, I'm pleased that we did. Because this is my favorite Eli Roth movie we've seen so far. What did you, did you, what do you want to just cut right to the ratings?
Starting point is 00:03:28 No, no. Okay. You like this better than be the doctor being a dog or whatever Dr. Dog was? Is that cabin fever? Yeah. I do. I like things, Eli Roth. I think the filleting is in lieu of plot in a lot of this movie. I agree with that. I also think it's very funny in a lot of places. Sure. And then in the places that it isn't, it becomes funny to me because Eli Roth thought it was funny. Where there's jokes in this movie, I laughed at how dumb and bad and not funny the jokes
Starting point is 00:04:07 were. Some of them I liked. Really? Yeah. Okay. We'll get to that. I made a note of each one. I'm excited.
Starting point is 00:04:15 So we're in, we start off in Plymouth, Massachusetts on Thanksgiving. Dr. Dr. McDreamie, playing a police officer, comes over for dinner. Are you a Graze Anatomy fan? I never seen a second of that show. I just remember that he was called Dr. McDreemie. He's a good-looking man. Oh yeah. Great-looking guy. Gone straight into Silver Fox mode? Because men are allowed to do that, as we've off, off to disgust. Terrible in this, though. Terrible, terrible. He. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. too. too. too. too. too. too. too. too, too, too, too, too, too, too, too, too, too, too, too. too. toa. toa. toa, too, too, too, to, too, too, to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to, to. to, to. to. too, too, to th. th. th. th. th. th. to to th. th. to the. to the. too. too. the. the. toa. the. the. toa. toa. toa. toa. toa. toa. toe. toa. toe. to to to to discuss. Terrible in this though, terrible actor. I don't know, I've never seen him in anything else. He may have always been this bad. I have seen a few episodes of Grey's Anatomy because I was a woman in my 20s in the early 2000s. He wasn't this bad. Okay. No. No. He was giving me poor man's Dylan McDermott vibes. Oh, I think they're both a run for who's the poor man. So he comes over for
Starting point is 00:05:11 an uncomfortable family dinner. But it's not his family, seemingly. It's Gina Gershaw's family. Are you excited to see the Gersh? It was so weird. I love Gina Gershawn. It took me forever to realize who she fucking was. Really? I would expect you to know Gina Gershon at a at a miles piece. Yeah, I would think so. I just I don't think I've seen her in 20 years and anything. Yeah. Other than looking at pictures of her and Jennifer Tilly together from 30 years ago. We did a, was she in face off? I feel like she was in face off. I don't know. I think th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th th th th th th th th th th th th think thi thi. I thi. I took. I took. I took. I took. I took. I took. I took. Yeah. I to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to th. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I te. I te. I tole. I took. I took. I took. I took. I took. I tole. I too. I too. I too. I t like she was in face off. I don't know. I think she was in face off. You think she did the waterfall? Yeah, she's Gershian. So this is like a down home Thanksgiving with more old ladies than make sense for the number of other people there.
Starting point is 00:05:58 It's like every grandmother in the family is still extant. How? And then we, this is juxtaposed with rich people Thanksgiving. Yeah. This guy's teeth are fucking something. Tell me what you think about his teeth. Tell me every thought you had about them. I don't know, are you talking about the gentleman with the mustache, the guy who owns the right mark? Yes, the dad. I just kept thinking that somewhere a pizzeria was missing it standy from out in front
Starting point is 00:06:26 of it. He was giving me strong a pizza pie five. He does have a big pizza pie look about him, yeah. So he is the owner of Rite Mart, which is not at all Walmart. Don't you get that wrong? What is Walmart? And it's the store, instead of opening on Black Friday at midnight, it's just going to be to be to be to be to be to be to be to be to be to be to be to be to be to be to be to be to be to be to be to be the to be the store, instead of opening for Black Friday at midnight, it's just going to be open on Thanksgiving night. Because he's a shitbird. I think that's common now, though.
Starting point is 00:06:52 I think stores... Really? I thought there was like a publicity stunt to move away from that. I don't know. Who the fuck is doing this? Who is going out? I had family members that used to go to that shit at like 4 o'clock in the morning. I was just like... Deals?
Starting point is 00:07:07 I guess. I mean, but it's not that anyway. I hate to shop. Yeah. Oh, online shopping is the greatest thing that like... Yeah. I know that the internet is the down'm, no, I'm going to ride it. And if I could just quickly divert. I was thinking, because I heard the other day that Boston Dynamics is putting chat GPT into their robots?
Starting point is 00:07:34 Oh, of course. Why wouldn't they just be the villains of this whole story? Yeah. So when society collapses and or we go into the simulation so that they can harvest rest for batteries like in the Matrix. Harvest us from batteries? For batteries. That's fine. I'm ready to go.
Starting point is 00:07:50 Yeah. Do you hear how tired I am? There's something I want to bring back when civilization rebuilds or in the simulation. What's that going to be? Pickle barrel at a grocery store. What the fuer-barrel- th-in th-in th-in th-in th-in th-in th-in th-in th-in thi-in thi-s-s-s-s-s-s-s-s. thi-s. thi-s. thi-s. thi-s. thioliolioliolioli-in thi-s. thiolkiolkiolkiolk. thioli-i-i-i-i-i-i-i-i-i. thii. thi. thi. thi-s. thi-s. thi-s. thi-s. th-s. th-s. th-s. th-s. th-s. th-s. th-s. th-s. thi-s. thi-s. thi-i-i-nnnnni-i-i-i-i-i-i-s. thi-i-siaa-sia-sia-sia-sia-sia-sia-ia-ia-s. thia-s. such a weird place and time. I have no idea what you're talking. Just like a beer barrel sized barrel filled with pickles and brine that you just get some tongs, you pop a pickle or a pickle out, pop it in a bag and go pay for it as a res. I love pickles. Yeah. I love pickles. I don't know what you're talking about. Pickle barrel. It's coming back, baby. Get ready. All right. I mean. I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I that. I that. I that. I that. I that. I that. I that. I that. I that. I that. I that. I th. that that that. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. the. the. the. the. the. the the te. the the te. the the the the the the the the the the the the the th about. Pickle barrel. It's coming back baby, get ready.
Starting point is 00:08:29 All right. I mean, of all the things to bring back from the past, I feel like that is a really in offensive one. Pickle barrel and milk delivery. It's all I want in life. Why would you want to have someone leave milk at your door? That's gross. That's a punishment. Milk is gross. What are you going to do with milk? I use it to bake things? Like what? Serial? Get out of here with that. But yeah, imagine living like this, so desperate to go shopping. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:08:57 I mean, but it happens every year. People are murdered every year on Black Friday. That's why we call Black Friday. Yeah, for their deaths. We have to honor them some way. I'm proud to be in America. So we get the poor family, dad has to go work at the big box store. Right. This is Gina Grishan's husband. Yes. Yeah, Mitch. So he has to leave the family dinner.
Starting point is 00:09:23 And we do get McDremy and Gershon making gugly eyes at each other. And why wouldn't they? They both look great. Yeah. Then we have rich daughter, whose name I don't remember, even though she's the main character. Is that Jess, aka Jessica? Okay, yeah, yeah, yeah. She sucks.
Starting point is 00:09:41 Oh, what? She's, I find, I th her her th her thi I thi I thi, I thi, I thi, I thi, I thi, I thi, I thi, I find, I find, I find, I find, I find her, I find her, I find her, I find her, I thi, I thi, I thi, I thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. her very hard to like. Not even just the character of the actor. There was a lot of acting in this movie that was like challenging me to pay attention to the film. Yeah, it's really a, hey, over here? No, come back. Her boyfriend is a baseball pitcher, the dumbest of baseball players. So- Like as a rule. As a rule. Yeah. Because they're headcases too. Okay.
Starting point is 00:10:07 Yeah. Yeah. But he's a, what is he, Golden Arm? Goldenarm, Dostazio or something. Okay, whatever. He's in college. She's like two years from graduating high school. I don't like that this movie is an indictment of massholes. It is? I also like that no one can hold on to a
Starting point is 00:10:32 Massachusetts accent. No, Eli Roth, Massachusetts Native. Oh is he? Yes, I mean to make a movie like this. To be so mean to the people of that region, you have to be one of them. And I, as a yinsor, I get thi. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. the, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, you have to be one of them. And I, as a yinzer, I get that. Sure. You could not get a single actor from Massachusetts to do any of these parts? Not one. What was Matt Damon doing? What's Ben Affleck doing? What's Marcus Mark Walberg doing? What is his brother Donald Walburg?
Starting point is 00:10:57 Did you know he has a true crime. Do you think it's because he played a cop and saw that he has a true crime? 100% and Spotify was like, you want to listen to this? And I was like, no? Yes. Maybe. Maybe. I might. It's called something like Dry Dry Bones.
Starting point is 00:11:18 It's not that. That's from Nintendo. That just sounds like a Mario Kart World. Yeah, it is. Well, yeah, dry, dry bones are the guys that you can like in Mario, the little skeleton that you break and then they come back to life. I think they might just be Dry Bones. Try Dry Bones.
Starting point is 00:11:36 I think that might be a Mario Kart level. Fascinating information from me here on the show. So the crowd is going ballistic, specifically three people. Yeah, the guy in the blue jacket, the lady and the other lady. Fucking guy playing football I guess for Hanover. Yeah, fuck Hanover. Fuck Hanover. The cheerleader who goes out with the guy from Hanover. And again, fuck Hanover. And then the woman who later we find out is a waitress at the local titer. Yeah, I don't know why we have to be so mean to her, but here we are.
Starting point is 00:12:14 I don't think only because in that opening scene where she's like going ballistic at the right mart, her eyes are just bugging out of her head. I was like, that's why you got that role. That's why you got that role. Yeah, she's pretty good. She might be the best actor in the movie. She might be. Yeah. The teens roll in. Yeah. They park in a handicap spot. We meet Ryan who is 40 if he's a day. And his tiny friend. His tiny friend who never comes back. I was like, I can't wait to hear what like cynical commentary this guy has. Nothing. Never see him again. Why is he there? He's just the Adderall friend.
Starting point is 00:12:56 Yeah, that's right. All for some Adderall is the only other time we see. That's true, yep. So because Jess's dad owns the store, she can go in. And the waitress yells, you let Danny, Donny, Joey, Johnny and Jordan in there, which I liked quite a bit. I like that a lot. They didn't even pick up on that. Yeah. That's very funny.
Starting point is 00:13:17 Well, it's like I hear those names and order and I'm like, yeah. No, is that by height, by age? That's just the order in which which which which which which which which which which which which which which which which which which which the the tho. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. the th. tho. the the the th. the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. thi. thi. tho. to. to. toda. toda. toda. today today today tho. the. the. th. th. th That's just the order in which you say them. Okay. Yeah. Danny, Donnie, Joey, Johnny and Jordan. Or sometimes Johnathan, sometimes who people call him Jonathan. Sure, show a little respect. Show a little respect.
Starting point is 00:13:32 You say Danald, you say Jonathan. Dry, dry bones. I'm looking it up while we talk. So, uh, dad, the poor dad is the, the the the the the the the the, the, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. the, the, the, the, th. th. th. Yeah, th. Yeah, th. Yeah, to, th. Yeah, to, th, th, John, John, John, John, John, John, John, John, John, John, John, John, John, th. Yeah, th. Yeah, th. Yeah, to. Yeah, to. Yeah, to. Yeah, to. Yeah, to. Yeah, to. Yeah, to. Yeah, to. to. Yeah, to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to to to to the. the. the. the. is there to do crowd control as well. He's the manager of the store, I guess, or the greeter or something. Who knows? I'm unclear on his role. And so, uh, Gina Grishan and McDreemie show up to bring him food. I assume they had a quickie in the parking lot before they were, yes.
Starting point is 00:14:02 It's not like you're surprise when it's revealed later yeah they're fucking like obviously they're fucking but McDreemie is like the local sheriff so he's gonna help with the crowd control right he's the local sheriff and also maybe the only cop do we and there's one other one there's a tall guy that's it yeah yeah yeah okay who is set up as a red hering before we even meet him and it's very bizarre. So yeah, yeah, and then like McDremy is yelling into a megaphone that everybody needs to calm down and then somehow the Hanover kid gets the megaphone and yells the store is open. It's just called Bone Chilling Crimes Colin Donnie Wahlberg. Try to trade phones is a better name. I know. Bone chilling crimes colon Donnie
Starting point is 00:14:47 Wahlberg. It's so good. I missed everything you just said because I was looking at that. I'm so sorry. What did they do? Bone chilling crimes in Donnie Walburg's colon. Yeah. So McDremy loses the megaphone to the handover kid who yells the store is open and causes a stampede. Capitalism baby. Capitalism? So there's a security guard who's caught between the people and the door. Yeah. And they have to unlock the door so that he doesn't get smushed. Well the security guard's on the inside he's the one to unlock the door and then get smushed. Is that what happens? Yeah, oh right, because the customers are going to get smushed, right, right, right. They're opening the door, yes because the shoppers are being pressed against the door the door starting
Starting point is 00:15:33 to crack. Right, and he gets murdered murdered by the door and the people stepping. the their the the the the the their the their their their their their their th. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. th. Yeah. th. th. th. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. th. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. their throat slashed. Yeah, we just see a guy in a Bruins jersey bleeding from his neck, but we never see how what happens, which I found to be very strange. Very strange. Yeah. That must have hit the editing floor or something. I mean, yeah, we've had it to this point seen anyone with a weapon. There's no reason he should be bleeding from his neck. And theyne gush. their hair hair to to to to to to to to to to to toe toe toe, toe, toe, toe, toe, toe, their th. the, their, th. their, their, tooom, tooom, tooom, tooom, the, their, to be to be to be to be to be to be to be to be to be to be to be to be to be to be to be to be to be to be to be to be to be to be to be to be to be to be to be to be to be to be to be tooom. th. th. th. th. th. th. the, the, the, the, the, the, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their their thh. Gets her hair caught in the wheel of a shopping guard. And dies.
Starting point is 00:16:06 And it scalps her and she immediately dies. Yeah, just scalping that loop, I feel like I could, I feel like I could part with that amount of scalp and not die. That's all I'm saying. I don't want to try it, but I just feel confident. I think she also gets much for sure, but you know. But it's known that for Gershon, that's basically an off switch. If you take that part of her scalp. That's called a Gershon Heel. Yes.
Starting point is 00:16:28 It's her soft spot. Yeah. So she dies, it's very sad. Hell yeah. We're all very sad. Very, very sad. This character that we don't know at all. No. And they like it's the lady,
Starting point is 00:16:45 maybe it's the lady from the diner that's pushing the cart. I think it might be. Bobby, heart of gold, arm of gold. Arm of gold. Goes to save the security guard who's getting smushed. And someone steps on his arm in such a way that it bends that it bends in the th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that it's that it's that it's that it's the the the the the the the the the the the the the the. the. the. the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the thea. thea. thea thea thea theea thee the the the the the the to which I don't, okay. They should have shown a clown shoe stepping on him. His arm of gold is ruined. It's ruined and he just yells, ah, yeah.
Starting point is 00:17:09 Yeah, yeah. One year later. Well, don't forget, Mr. Remy shoots his gun into the air, and then the one year he's, he's putting a stop to this with a gunshot. Right, right. We see this happening on a YouTube video that just ends with like subscribe and then like rip to all the dead ones or something. Well, I like that because in the YouTube video it had arrows pointing to like this jackass
Starting point is 00:17:34 as someone gets trampled to death. And all this was for free waffle irons. Everybody got a free waffle iron. I'll tell you what, you'll never use it. You know who makes waffles egg? You know who makes waffles? Pancakes. Fuck a waffle. Oh, no, that is the wrong choice. Waffles over pancakes 100%.
Starting point is 00:17:59 If I have to make them, it's pancakes all day, every day. Counterpoint. Yeah. pancakes all day, every day. Counterpoint, maple syrup is disgusting and you can put anything on a waffle. Wait, what? Yes. Hold on? Yeah. Don't you want to show a ketchup? Yeah, wow. Supperies. Yeah, they're gross. they're gross. to put anything on pancakes too, like whipped cream and strawberries. Yeah, you could, but who has those? Who has whipped cream around? I do. Okay. I keep heavy cream so I can make whipped cream if I need to. Yeah, but I'm not gonna make whip cream. It's America. Some come from a can. I love making whipped cream. Well, good for you.
Starting point is 00:18:34 Bully for this guy. If you teach a fat man to make with cream, we have diabetes for life. No, we're not doing this. We see a news broadcasting that it's been a year and that they're opening the store again on Thanksgiving and that Bobby has not been heard from since the incident. This is wild because Bobby appears to be enrolled in a college about two towns over and it's modern day. Somebody knows Bobby. Nope. It's just awful wandering with his golden arm. I love this to, like, set up him being the killer, right? Yeah, it's supposed to make him look suspicious.
Starting point is 00:19:13 We should also mention that Bobby is, if he's five foot four, I'll be fucking surprised. Yeah, I have a lot of notes about short pitchers. He's a short king. You don't have a lot of short baseball players anymore, right? They're all like seven feet tall. Exactly, I mean every athlete's seven feet tall. Except for Andre the giant who was ten.
Starting point is 00:19:32 Every time I'm watching the footy and I look at the goalkeepers and I'm like, why are you all 11 feet tall? They all have the weirdest heads because they're 11 feet tall. They all look like, because they are, they all look like giant children. Yeah, because they are giant children. They're just oversized children, yeah. Yeah. So we see that the killer is focused on this incident. He's got a, like corkboards filled with news articles, maybe red string growing between things,
Starting point is 00:20:01 and he's wandering around in all black, like a jumpsuit and a hood in his own house why would you do that and at this point I knew who it was what yeah I'll be honest I didn't know into the reveal were you surprised no but I also didn't know into the reveal two things can be true very good yeah we're back in the diner and they've got this governor, John Carver mask. Yeah. I think the mask is actually quite good. So do I think it's great. Yeah. I like it. Yeah. And John Carver, yes indeed, was a real person. Yeah. I looked him up. First governor of the colony. Of Massachusetts. Yeah. First asshole there ever was. Sorry but it's true. People from Massachusetts. their. th. the. the. the. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. thing thing thing. thing. things. things. things. things. things. things. things. things. th. th. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi, yeah. First asshole there ever was. Sorry but it's true. People from Massachusetts are assholes. You know it too. So we're meeting the new deputy and the woman at the diner is like he came in here yesterday and he wasn't very nice. He wasn't very talking him. I didn't like him. Oh did she say that? Yeah. So we're like, oh why is he the killer? Is he the killer? Is he? Is he the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the. the the. the. the. the. the. the. the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the new. the the new. the new. the new. the new. the new. Is he the killer? That, wait, was the giant copper red herring?
Starting point is 00:21:05 Yeah. I never even considered him. The first thing he does is put on the John Carver mask in the hat and he goes, I like this. Wouldn't you though? Yeah, of course I would, but still. Would you like it? Oh, God.
Starting point is 00:21:17 Oh, God. We've also met Jess's stepmother, Kathleen, who is, I guess, meant to be a gold digger. I think so, yeah. And she's talking about her trick for making stuffing, and the trick is a touch of eggplant. That made me laugh because I felt like that had to be a joke, right? You can't hide eggplant. And how do you get a tou? When you cut it open, like cut out a little cout, to, to, tack, to, tack, to, tuck, tip, t, t, t, t, t, t, t, t, t, t, t, t, t, t, t, to, to, to, tou, tou, togu, the tou, toge, tho, thi, the the their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, t..a, togu, togu.a, togu.a, togu.a, toguii.a, toguiwooo.a, toguiwoo.a, toguiwo.a, toguiw.a, togui. get a tough? Would you cut it open, like cut out a little circle and just, what do you do it? How's it a touch of eggplant?
Starting point is 00:21:50 I just imagine eating like nice, crunchy, delicious stuffing, and then, well, eggplant, a white plant. You don't like egg plant? I do like eggplant, but I don't want those two texturs hanging together together together together together together together together together together together together together together together together toge together together t year and force my family to eat it. You all have to call me Kathleen now. It's close enough, man. We do eat eggplant every year on Thanksgiving because we eat lasagna's. Sure. I love a- Like a cognate.
Starting point is 00:22:15 I just, I ate an eggplant curry the other day. That's great. So, um, and Jess has to go do a commercial shoot for her dad at the John Carver house. Yes, but her stepmother's gonna be in it too, and she's so mad. She's sucks. She wants to be the star of capitalism. She wants dad to love her best. You can't fuck your daughter.
Starting point is 00:22:38 You have to be able to fuck someone. It's not going to be you, Jess. No, I recognize that this is a bad situation. Are you talking to Donald Trump right now? I am unclear. You can't fuck your daughter, sir. Can't fuck your daughter, sir. But also we've, in the diner, we find out that Ryan, who was fawning for Jess early on, has finally gotten her now that Bobby is out of the picture. Right. He's so old. Right? He's the oldest of the teens. Okay, okay. Yeah, for sure. So she goes to the John Carver house to film the commercial
Starting point is 00:23:12 and someone has tagged fight mart on the wall, which I thought was actually pretty clever. And the dad's all mad because his commercial is ruined, but this is a historical landmark guy. What I love is the cops all upset about this. And the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the tee teea. Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. the te. Okay. Okay. te. te. Okay. te. Okay. te. te. te. te. te. te. te. te. te. te. te. te. te. te. te. te. te. te. te. te. te. te. te. te. te. te. te. te. te. te. te. te. te. te. te. te. te. te. te. t is a historical landmark guy. What I love is the cops all upset about this and then when we get the reveal at the end, by the way, the cops the killer, he's the one who did this. He didn't have to do this either, you know? What this movie presupposes is that once you become a killer, you care about nothing, nothing but killing. This feels very late stage scream film for me. Absolutely. And I think it's probably capitalizing on some of that scream revival
Starting point is 00:23:51 as a stupid slasher with a silly mask. Yeah. And a goofy plot of why people have to do a thing. Yes. Yes. Yeah. It was giving me strong scream vibes. Yeah. Also, did you notice when not to go back to the diner again But uh, that Ryan got Pat's Steelers tickets for everybody. That's why I roco Steelers
Starting point is 00:24:14 No idea why you did that? I mean sometimes I just think things. I mean I don't care that much for the Steelers, but, you know Well, that's weird because you have that terrible tai tato. tatoed tatoed tatoed tatoed tha. that that that that that that that that that that that that that the that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that to their that. to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to the the the the the the the the the the their their the. the. the. the the the the. the the the the the the the the. the the the the. the the. the thea. to to rible tail tattoo. Well which one? Which one? Which one? My terrible towel tato? I'm gonna get it praying hands tattoo but with all the Steelers Super Bowl rings on them but they have six rings so this hand's gonna have to have six fingers. Yeah. Yeah and those two praying hands are gonna be holding a ta' towel. Oh Oh a their tha tha tha tha tha to to to be holding a tha tha tha to be holding a tha tha tha tha tha tha tha tha tha tha tha tha tha tha tha tha tou tou tou tou tou tou tou tou tou tou tou tou tou tou tou tou tou tha terrible tha one one one one one one one one one one tha tha tha tha tha tha terrible tha terrible tha terrible tha tou tou tou tou tou tou tou tou tou tou tou tou tou tou tou tou tou. tou. ta. ta. ta. ta. ta. ta. ta. tou. tou. tou tou. tou tou. tou tou tou tou tb. tb. tattoo in the city, I'm sure of it. When they were going for their sixth win, I was trying to get the, this one's for the dick. Oh, after all the ears of one for the thumb, baby. So we're in the diner with Jess and her shitty friends. Yeah. Especially Evan, who is the shittiest of friends. Yeah. And he calls Ryan an NPC.
Starting point is 00:25:05 And I was like, how do you know what an NPC is? Because they play video games. Oh, are they in video games? Oh, that makes sense. Oh, great. If you're in Grand Theft Auto and there's a lot of background characters, a guy's you have to go talk a tavern to get a mission and some rumors. Talking to a bar keep, no. He's never said hail and well met. No, and he should.
Starting point is 00:25:32 They also try to like yell down the waitress and she's like no and then she comes back and she's like what? And I liked that for her a lot. Well she says this isn't right, Mart, you have to wait your turn. Yeah, but she was the one the one the one the one th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. thi thi thi thi thi thi thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, this isn't right, Mart, you have to wait your turn. Yeah, but she was there pushing around too. But she was the one who saw them inside and called them Donnie and Bobby and Johnny and she did say that, yeah. What's okay because the governor's after her? What's the governor gonna do? Who knows? He's gonna wet her head in the sink, then stick her to the freezer door. And then, and th, and th, and th, and th, and th, and th, and th, and th, and th, and th, and th, she, she, she's, she's, she's, she's, she's, she's, she's, she's, she's, she's th, she's th, she's th, she's to thi, she's thin, she's th. Oh, she's, she's th, she's th, she's th. Oh, she's th. Oh, she did, she's to say, she's to say, she's to say, she's to say, she's to, she's, she's, she's, she's, she's, she's, she's, she's, she's, she's, she's, she's, she's, she's, she's, she's, she's, she's, she's, she's to to to to to say, she's to say, she's to say, to say, too, too, too, too. thin, too. too, thin, thin, thin, she did. Oh, she's thin, she's thinthen she's going to peel it off because this is Eli Roth's late-phase stage. That was funny. It was funny. Yeah and I thought she was very
Starting point is 00:26:09 funny too. Yeah. Because she runs out to the parking lot to get her car, she doesn't have her car keys. Her car turns on and chases her into a dumpster lid closes? And what does it do Katie? What does the dumpster lid do? It snaps her in half, it snaps her in half and her hot dogs are on the outside. What is she made of? I did, it was it that the car hit the dumpster so hard that it brought the power of the lid down. It doesn't make a lick of sense. Even if they're metal, they? No, they would be plastic. They'd be plastic, yeah. Anyway, whatever, she's dead. She's dead and her lower body is stuck on the star at Ritemart?
Starting point is 00:26:52 I've liked that a lot. I was a little bummed that they stuck it in her Vajjay. I mean, I thought it was just a proper up. Yeah, I don't, yeah. But where's her torso at? Where's her top half? Well, we're going to find out. Yeah, I know. Instagram, as far as I can tell, they're on Instagram. Instagram? Yeah. Yeah. Oh my god. Yeah. So we, the one of, Evan's best friend is named Scuba. Yeah. Why is he named Scuba? I forget. Because his last name is Diving. Wouldn't this nickname be Scuva then?
Starting point is 00:27:29 I would call him Scuva. Why was his name Diving and not Diving? I don't understand. This is one of the jokes that I was like, wait, what? Am I just missing it? Nope. Okay. all right. So yes they oh they get tagged in a photo of this on Instagram from a username John Carver and there's a table with place
Starting point is 00:27:54 settings like a it's a photo of a table like a Thanksgiving table, a festive table, something you might see and say real simple magazine. That's a joke just for me and Alan. And they just keep yelling, John Carver keeps tagging us. John Carver keeps tagging us. You know it's not him, right? It's not the first governor of Massachusetts Colony. Also, Jess is wearing a vest, no shirt,
Starting point is 00:28:23 which is a bold fucking look in the Northeast in November. It's a hard look. What are you doing? You're just jealous. You wish you would thought of it first. The vest, no shirt in November here in the Northeast. It's like, you were in the N.
Starting point is 00:28:35 The dress like you were in limp biscuit in the 90s. We get a second reference to Mark Cuban at this point. And I was like, th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, the th. th. th. th. th. It's, th. It's, th. It's, th. It's, th. It's, th. It, to, to, to, to. It, to. It, to. It, to. It, to. It, to. It, to. It, to. It, th. It, th. It, th. It's, th. It's, th. It's the the the tod did he pay you for this movie Pittsburgh's own Mark Cuban yeah because there's like this guy who should have been the drug dealer but instead he's the alcohol and arms dealer in the town yeah what this is McCarty what is his deal likes heavy metal and likes to deal guns and alcohol to teens. Okay. And like hit on them. Yeah. And some of them are just like living in his house or something?
Starting point is 00:29:13 Sure. Okay. Yeah. Oh yeah. Oh yeah. Oh yeah. And he loves watching Shark Tank, which is why there's constant Mark Cuban reference. I see. Yeah. And he's the the the the the the the the the the th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. thi. thi, thi, thi, th. th. th. th. th. th. thinks. thinks, thinks thinks thinks thinks th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. Like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, thi. Like, thi. Like, thi. Like, thi. Like, thi I see, okay, okay. Yeah, and he's got like a toadie who wears the same cut that he does, which is very funny. The toadie also
Starting point is 00:29:30 just like always looks so pleased with him, which I really like. Yeah. Is the toadie the same kid that's doing, that's writing the paper for Evan? No, I don't think so. No, I don't think so. Because I thought that that that that that that that that that kid that kid that kid that kid that kid that kid that kid that kid that kid that kid that kid that kid that kid that kid that kid that kid th. th. th. thi the the th. the tho. the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the same the same the same the same. the same. the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the th. th. thi. thi. thea. toda. toda. toda.oadoadoadoadoadoadoadoad.oad. toda. toda. toda. toda. that's thought that kid was going to have more relevance to Jacob. Is that what his name was? But he doesn't. He like gets one over on Evan and that's the end of him, right? Yeah. Okay. That was a joke that made me laugh out loud.
Starting point is 00:29:56 And she was like, when I wrote it for my blog, I was like, puh. Because Jacob said, she couldn't have written it better herself. Yeah. So we get teens using phrases that old men have written for them such as slide into the killers DMs and fuck around and find out, which feels very uncomfortable because it's like, you're older than me guys, you know, the people writing this. No one says Riz at any point. I know, and it's just, I bet that's says Riz at any point. I know, and it's just, I bet that's already over though, honestly. I heard, what was it, Timothy Shalameh using Riz, and I was just like, I just still don't understand how you're supposed to use it. Really? Just substitute it for charisma. Yeah, and also think of charisma as a verb. Yeah, so I'm just charismaing the fuck out of this situation right, yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. to to to to th. to th. th. th. th. th. th. thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's, that's, that's, that's that's, that's that's, that's that's that's that's that's that's that's, that's that's that's that's that's that's thi, thi, thi. I thi. I thi. I thi. I thi. I thi. I thi. I's thi. I'm just just just just, the the the the the the thi. I's thi. I's thi. I's thi. I'm just just, that's that's that's thi. I's a verb. So I'm just charismaing the fuck out of this
Starting point is 00:30:46 situation right now. Yeah, yeah. I get Bobby, who's a tow truck driver now. That's right. His uncle's tow truck company. Yeah, and she's just like, I guess I forgive you, it's fine for not speaking to me for a whole year. Yeah. She loves him. And he's talking about how he might get back up to full speed pitching, which I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I th. Yeah, th. Yeah, th. Yeah, th. th. th. Yeah, th. th. Yeah, th. th. th. Yeah, th. th. th. Yeah, th. th. th. th. th. th. th. Yeah, thi. Yeah, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm just, I'm just, I'm just th. Yeah, I'm just get get get get get get get get get get get get get get th. Yeah, I's th. Yeah, I's th. Yeah, I's th. Yeah, I's th. Yeah, I's th. Yeah, I, I, I, I, I, I's th. Yeah, I's th. Yeah, I's th. Yeah, I'll th. Yeah, I'm th. Yeah, I'm th. Yeah, I'm th. Yeah, I'm th. Yeah, I'm just just, I'm th. Yeah, I'm to. Yeah, I'm th. Yeah, I'm th. Yeah, I'm th. Yeah, I'm th. Yeah, I'm th. Yeah, I'm th. Yeah, she loves him and he's talking about how he might get back up to full speed pitching which I just don't think is true Yeah, there's some PT and I was like oh, you're gonna be out of your zone there no one's gonna hire you Yeah, what are you gonna do? We find out at this point that Kathleen has deleted the footage from that night? Yes, like all of a sudden the sheriff is investigating it for some reason it's a year later, and he's like, th. th. th. th as far as we know like no crimes were committed I mean bad things happen but like there's nothing to investigate as far as I can tell so I think his whole thing is he's using her to put together his kill list he wants her to get that information for him
Starting point is 00:31:44 because he can't do his damn son. Right he doesn't recognize any of he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he was he was he was he was he was he was he was he was he was he was he was he was he was he was he was he was he was he was he was he was using he was using he was using he was he was using he was using he was using to to he to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to th. th. th. th. He was th. He was thi thi. thi. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. thi. thi. thi. thi. to wants her to get that information for him because he can't do his damn son. Right, he doesn't recognize any of the use. He was literally talking to that woman at the diner earlier. No idea who she, well that he did, he did murder her. Okay, he did murder her, you're right. But he couldn't pick out the quarterback from Hanover. He was wearing a handover letterman's jacket. He was the cheerleader girlfriend. He was he. He was he. He was th. He was th. He was th. He was th. He was th. He was th. He was th. He was th. He was th. He was th. He was th. He was th. He was th. He was th. He was thi. He was throwing a football. I just like the pretense that he's investigating it now. And everyone's like, mm-hmm, mm-hmm. And I can't tell if this is a meta commentary on slasher films, yeah.
Starting point is 00:32:18 Or if I'm giving Eli Roth too much credit. I mean, he is a lover of the genre. Sure. Sure. And I think he is clever. Sure. Yeah. I mean, no, I don't think you can accuse him of being a dumbed. No, I don't think he's stupid. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:32:31 Oh, look, knock, knock, knock. Make me think he is. We get the, there's like a new statue of the governor, which we get a close up on, and I love love love love love love love love love love love the blow mold masks are so good and that's actually so bad. It's so bad. Okay, now yes, we get to the security guard going on the run. Because I wrote that all having a lost passport is the true horror in this world. We see him throw his passport down as he's talking to his cat. But someone's going to come and check on in in in in in in in in in in in his their their throw his passport down as he's talking to his cat that he's gonna leave but someone's gonna come and check on in his cat. Dewey? Was it named Dewey?
Starting point is 00:33:06 If his name was Dewey, which has to be a reference to scream, right? Yeah, yeah. And so he throws his passport down, turns around, and then turns back around and his passport's gone. Yeah. And he's freaking there, there, there, there, there, there, there, th. There, th. There, th. There, th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. thu, thu, thu, thu, thu, tho, tho, tho, tho, thu. thu, tho, tho, tho, tho, tho, tho, tho, thu. thu. tho, tho, tho, tho, to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to thu. thu. thu. thu. thu. thu. thu. thu. thu. thu. thua. thua. thua. thua. thua. thua. tho was like, oh, Alan is so smug about this right now. So stoog him with a baseball bat? It's my dreams come true a little bit. This was one of the lines that actually made me laugh is someone he was like, I'm a security guard, I kill people every fucking day.
Starting point is 00:33:34 See, that got me, that was funny. You gotta talk shit if you've got a baseball bat. I mean you're going at the danger. He's asking the cat for help. Sorry, go ahead. He was giving me the guy from the Burbs who says Satan is her friend. What's that actor's name? He passed away. I can't, he was giving me that guy. Yeah. What is that guy's name? What is that guy's name? I want to say like Dman, but I don't, oh, Rick Dukamon. Oh yeah, you like that guy. Yeah, I think he's very funny. Yeah. And this guy was giving me Rick Ducammon vibes. He's asking the cat for help, because the cat's in the kitchen,
Starting point is 00:34:13 sitting on the counter. Staring at the left and then looks back and he's like oh he's over there. No the cat has no fucking help. Because now this guy is beheaded. Kills him. Kills him. It's really nice. It is really nice and then he comes back and feeds the cat. Yeah. What do you think of that? I loved it? I did too. He pets the cat and feeds it and I'm like, man. Be a nice to an animal. Yeah. And it's, the the the the the the the the the th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. K. K. K. K. K. K. K. K. K. K. K. K. K. K. K. K. K. K. K. K. You could see the thing of dry kit little on the floor. Yeah, yeah. It just gives it a little head scrutches and then leaves the room. Yeah, the cat's purring does not give a shit
Starting point is 00:34:53 that his's life. Yeah. Glenn slid into mine. It's true. Just fucking took over. Slid into your DM. He slid into my front door. So we see his his head on a plate now at the table setting. Yeah, sitting across from the waitress, or at the upper half. To which I wrote social media sucks. It really does. So glad I don't have an Instagram. It seems like so much pressure. Someone's tagging me and I was like, I don't know.
Starting point is 00:35:32 Are they? I don't know. Yeah. My space. It's just another thing I've abandoned though, like so many blogs. Yeah. Or MySpace? MySpace, yeah. I probably have a Zinga out there still. What is that? It was a blogs, like an early blogging platform, yeah.
Starting point is 00:35:52 I believe, my Tumblr is probably still out there. You had a Tumblr. Dork. So there's this big back and forth about the security footage, but I'm not sure what th... th.... th. th. th. th. thi. th. th. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. It's just so Jess can get pictures of everybody was there to give to the cop. But like she sees Ryan talking to the security guard and she's like, oh my god, it's all like he's at fault. He said he didn't know anybody there and there he is hugging the security guard. But like, what are any of these these these these these these these these these these these these these these these these these these these these these these the people? the people? the people? the people? the people? th. th. th. th. th. th. thi is is thi is thi is like, thi is thi is thi. thi. thi. thi. thi is is is is thi is thi is is thi is thi is thi is thi is thi is thi is thi is thi is th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. they is they is they is. they is thi. they is thi. thi. thi. thi. Starting point is 00:36:26 So she has this like heart to heart with her dad. Can we talk about this scene? He's like, boy, I sure am sorry about your stepmom. Nothing's going to change though. And she's like, I love you daddy. And then the scene ends. You're like, is that how families work? Uh-huh. That's it. Nailed it. God, it's so easy.
Starting point is 00:36:47 He's just like, yeah, I was, he basically gave the like, I needed to fuck, I can't fuck you. Got a step, mom. That's what I'm trying to say here, yeah. Yeah. I like that I have a note that just says me laugh. It's when it cuts to him and he goes, that's why I won't be celebrating Thanksgiving this year or any year and throws down his paper. It felt very like Dariah, you know? That really made me laugh. And then he lifts his shirt to wipe the tears away from his eyes. He has these like two like sycophantic girls that are just like yes yeah so funny you got abs for days he has abs for days and he's not going to celebrate Thanksgiving this year
Starting point is 00:37:30 or any year that's funny that's good comedy oh man so this is when Evan the nerd gets Evan with the teacher's blog as his paper and I think that's the last time we ever see him poof poof! Yeah. We get Ryan and Bobby like being dicks to each other in the parking lot over over Jess. They're fighting over this lady in front of her. I guess. Never a good look. Is this when Ryan is dressed as a pilgrim? No that's a little later. Oh god okay. Because he's tried to pick her up to go go go go go go. to go. to go. to go. to go. their the the to th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. Because he's tried to pick her up to go to get dressed up as a pilgrim. Right, right, right, right, right. Right, they're all having a conversation into a mirror, which I thought was weird. Oh, when they're in the beauty, the beautician class? What are they doing in beauty class? I was like, is this a trade school? I don't like, is thii. I'm like, is th a that a that a that a that a that, is that, is that, is that, is that, is that, is that, is that, that, that, that, that, that, right, right, right, right, right, right, right, right, that, right, right, right, right, right, right, right, right, right, right, right, right, right, right, right, right, right, right, right, th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. they, they, they, they, they, they're, they're all, they're all, they're all, they're all, they're all, they're all, they're all, they're all, they're all, they're all, they're all all, they're all all all all all all, they're all all all all, we're told they're in high school, I had no fucking idea.
Starting point is 00:38:27 Could have been, it could have been anywhere, anytime, any place. I think I want to actually pretend they're in trade school. Maybe they're Votec kids. Yeah, maybe they're all DeVry. Yeah. I think thi. Also I would like to make to make to make to make to make to make to make to make to make to make to make to make to make to make to make to make to make to make to make to make to make to make to to to to to to to to to to to to to be a to be a to be a to be.. to be a to be. I. I. I to be. I. I. I. I. I. I to be.. I to.............................................................. a Massachusetts complaint. Oh, absolutely. There's not a single Dunkin' Donuts in this movie, which I don't think. I thought you were contractually obligated. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:38:50 That just confirms that it was indeed filmed in like Toronto. Sure. I think Eli Roth won't even go back to Massachusetts. It's not like Dunkin Donuts won't throw money at anything. Seriously. So then we cut to the Hanover guy being the like gym coach or something? He's the strength and conditioning coach and I have to say they are training. Yeah, they're training hard. Because they're going to beat whoever our team is this year. Oh the the East Plymouth I think they are. Great. I think
Starting point is 00:39:27 that's the switcher that Jess is wearing later on in the movie. Perfect. So the cheerleader comes and takes him out. Yeah. This is so weird. She stands at the window doing the come hitter finger for like 10 minutes. Yeah he's like what? What? What? What? the. they. the. the the the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. that. the. that. that. that. that. that. that. that's. that's. that's. that's. that's. that's. that's. that's. that's. that's. that's. that's. that's. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. the. the. the. the. I. I. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the.? What? What? Babe, I'm training. What? Babe? You know, I can't have sex. I'm training. Babe, babe. You just have to watch. So if they go, she goes to a trampoline. Yeah, the trampiline that's usually set up in the gymnasium. With a spotlight. Where do you get a spotlight The sex trampoline. Get a spotlight And she starts jumping on the trampoline and taking off her underpants. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. And then falls on to many blades?
Starting point is 00:40:13 I can't tell if it's just one that comes up a lot. No, there's definitely points where there's more than one coming up for one time. And kudos to Eli Roth that the blade goes through her the the to to to to to to their their to to to their to their to their thoom. Yeah. Yeah. to to thoom. Yeah. thoom. Yeah. thoom. Yeah. Yeah. thoom. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. thoome. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. th. Yeah. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. the th. the the th. the the the th. the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the blade goes through her foot the first time, because I definitely expected her to do a split on the tramplain and going to her hoo-ha. Yeah. And he, while... It was tasteful. It was elegant. It was artful. It was an elegant balloon. And so, uh, uh, the handover boy is sitting there watching her and while she's like turned around dropping trow in front of him, he gets his neck fully turned around and I was like, come, Mick Dreamy is not that strong. He's got the rage, the crazy rage, right? I mean, you take Gina Gershawn from a man. I'll never recover. Whomst among us could not avenge Gina Grishan's death.
Starting point is 00:41:06 But I did like the thing of her on the trampoline every time she comes down she gets stabbed again. Yes, that was funny. I think this is actually very funny and it's like the perfect amount of gore too. Sure, yeah. Sure, sure. An elegant amount of go. An a tactful amount of go. It's something you might see in Real Simple magazine. Yeah. This week's episode is sponsored by Real Simple Magazine. You guys want emails from them. I'll forward them. So our kids are back together at the school and the cops are there. And they're still in the school, but like nobody else is.
Starting point is 00:41:44 Yeah, and McDreemie'sies like don't go off by yourselves stay in pairs. Yeah stay together and they're like okay so let's split up up. Immediately. And then they meet up again and they're like, okay let's split up again. Gabby the one friend Evans partner. Who is like the top build in this movie because she's like a tick t sensation. Oh is she? I think so, yeah. Okay, that explains things. Does it? Pull the acting level we're getting from Gabby. I think she's a singer. She's like, I'm so scared. And then like, her and Evan walk away and she goes, hey, he's like, what is going on? Yeah. But I have to admit something to you. Yeah. Just a today. to the to'calfe. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. the. the. the. the. tha. tha. tha. tha. tha. to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to the th. to to to to to to to the to the to the to the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. S When they're coming around a corner and having goes, that's weird and then John Carver comes out and grabs him. Yeah. Got me.
Starting point is 00:42:28 Good. Got to a little jump, a little jump, a little jump, a little little jump, a little big teeth. I wrote myself a note there is that I wish it were her dad and he was like secretly really fast and strong. Like they're a little like weird big te his teeth were enormous. I wanted to like draw portraits on them. I wanted to play piano on them. Oh, he moved so many teeth. They call him the piano man. This is, he's... Did we talk about that?
Starting point is 00:42:56 Oh, fair. Okay, great. Good. This is an episode just for you and me. So, they're back in the parking lot now. Right. Well, not Evan and Gabby, they are missing. Of course. And Julia's dad has come to take her to Florida. Yulia. Yulia.
Starting point is 00:43:15 He's Russian. He's funny. Oh, and I guess, I guess Jess has been chased in the school. But like you don't care. No, not at all. She fucking kill Jess. And I feel no, I feel nothing towards her. Like every time one of these teens dies, it's like, okay. How many more can there possibly be?
Starting point is 00:43:32 Can you do another one? Yeah. I got stuff to do. This movie's an hour and 45 minutes long. I did like that when Jess is being chased through the school, she ends up in beautician class. Right. And there is a can of hairspray that's called Jersey Mall hairspray. Oh, I miss that. I love that.
Starting point is 00:43:52 That's pretty good. It was funny. Yeah. There's also that like whole monologue about Dio. Oh yeah, yeah. Oh, are we not there yet? No, because... Oh, God, my notes. Ryan and Bobby have to fight again, then Jess rejects them.
Starting point is 00:44:09 Then they're, Jess and Scuba go to the party to get guns from the guy. Right. And there's young kids that are trying to get into the party, and he tellainthee theio joining Black Sabbath. And then the kid goes, what's Black Sabbath? And he kicks them out of the party. He won't let them come in. That's fine because their children, he's a grown-ass man. Yeah. His house is just full of children. Yeah. Is he a pedophile or just a weird guy?
Starting point is 00:44:37 Did you not have one thooo tho. Did th th th th th th th tho? tho? tho? tho? tho? tho? tho? tho? tho? tho. tho. the. the. the. the. the. the. tho. tho. tho. tho. the. tho. tho. tho. tho. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. the. Yeah. Yeah. We always had like one dude that was like, could do beer runs. Okay. Okay. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. That kind of. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Tthere was a guy I worked with at the pizza shop. Who was that guy? Yeah. And if he could make out with a 16 year old? He was all the happy. Yeah. Yeah. And if he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he th. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. th. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. that. that. that. that. that. that. that. that. th. th. th. th. th. th. t. t. t. t. t. th. t. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. that. that. that. that. that. that. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. t. t remember he got punched in a bar fight and had to have his jaw wired shut for a long time so I don't know I talked to all and like this because I really didn't like oh and then he recorded college dropout and here we are. Here we are. Another little like mass whole thing is that everyone every time they hang up the phone they go, geez! I like that. Oh. So this is being cut with Julia back at her house.
Starting point is 00:45:32 What is the huge poster on Julia's wall? What is it, Alan? It's a picture of Julia. She's cute. Here's the butt. It's an artistic picture of Julia. Yes. Her dad is a Russian stereotype. Yeah. Yeah. Their stairwell is a
Starting point is 00:45:47 tripping hazard from Hill. Why are there no lights in Julia's house? Are they turning them all off before they go to Florida? I guess so. I guess so. Just the idea of having a glass banister. Just the idea of having a glass banister though. It's just like- Why would you? I mean, it reminds me of that British show where the guys. the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the th. th. th. th. th. th. th. Yeah. their their th. th. their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their. their. their. their their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. the the the the the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the guy fell down the stairs and died because he was an architect we didn't want to have a banister. The one with it was Keely Halls was in start? Yeah, oh my gosh we got to talk more about Keely Halls in our lives. So like Julia's calling for her dad and he's not answering so you assume he's dead but then when we see him again he just has big headphones on. Yeah why? And then he's and he actually is dead yeah he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to the their was their their their their their their their th. thi. their their the the the the. the thi. the the thi. thi. the thi. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Why? And then he's dead. And then he actually is dead. Yeah. But how does Julia get killed? Do you remember? Uh, yes, she falls onto a table saw. Or she's thrown onto a table saw? Oh, right. But first, she gets ears of corn and holders into her ears. The corn cob holders? Yeah, I was thinking about those over the summer, I have not seen a set of those in so long.
Starting point is 00:46:46 Yeah, me either. Just use your hands, dip shits. I feel like those are something you would see in like a real simple magazine. I remember as a kid that my mom would always put them out, like, oh, I could not possibly butter my fingers. Like eating corn on the cob, because it's so viscurally disgusting to me to, just, just, just, just, just, just, just, just, just, just, just, just, just, just, just, just, just, just, just, just, just, just, just, just, just, just, just, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, just, just, like, just, just, just, just, just, just, just, just, just, just, like, just, just, just to like, just to like, just to just to just to just, just, just, just, just, just, just, just, just just, just, just, just, just, just, just, just just, just just, just, just, just, just, just, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, to, like, to, to, to, to, like, like, like, like, like, like, I don't like corn on the cob because it's so viscerally disgusting to me to have to like dig my teeth into that. Oh man. So I get it but like if you're gonna dig your teeth into it just hold your goddamn cob, just hold it with your hands. I find it to be one of the most satisfying chewing things ever. Oh, I think my teeth are too close together. I got these picket fences over here.
Starting point is 00:47:27 So, yes, Julia is, John Carver steals her and she has managed to let Scuba know. So Scuba and Jess are on their way over there. Right. And then they find her with John Carver holding a knife to her throat. Right. And then he turns on a table saw. Right. Which has like a foot switch. Which you should have to hold in place.
Starting point is 00:47:51 You should be able to just tap that and it'll go. You can't just leave a table saw running while you go grab something else. Yeah. And throws her on it and she goes, I go, I go, I go, I go, I go, I go, I go, to to to go, to go, to go, to to go, to to to to to to to to to to th, th, to th, th, th, th, th, th, th. th. I th. And, to to to th. And, to to to to to to to to to toooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo. th. th. th. time. I thought it was lovely. Yeah. But we see that Gabby and Evan are alive. Yes. But Julia is not. No. Why does Julia have to die? Yes. So now it's the day of the Thanksgiving parade. And they all of our like remaining protagonists are together and they're coming up with a plot to like lure the killer. I have no fucking idea of what kind of plan they concoct it. It makes no sense. It's basically like we'll all go to the parade and then if he's at the parade, we'll be at the parade, and we'll be at the parade when he's at the parade. And then the parade will be him. It didn't make a lick of sense. No. It couldn't have been any dumber that it was. No. their. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. the th. the th. th. the the the th. the the th. the the the the th. th. the parade. the parade. the parade, the parade, the parade, the parade, the parade, the parade, the parade. the parade. the parade. the parade. the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the th. th. th. th. th. th. There's another
Starting point is 00:48:45 line here that made me laugh because I told you I notated all of them. Yes. Where the guy is in the turkey costume and someone turns and just goes, all right Lionel, turkey time. What's the hat on him? That made me really laugh too. Oh, but poor Linal. he Oh, the parade. Oh, but the the the the th. Oh, th. Oh, th. Oh, th. Oh, th. Oh, th. Oh, th. Oh, th. Oh, th. Oh, th. Oh, th. Oh, th. Oh, th. Oh, th. Oh, th. Oh, th. Oh, th. Oh, th. Oh, th. Oh, th. Oh, th. So, McCarty comes up and gives Jess his dad's ring from Iraq. Uh-huh. And his friend is like, good work. Good work, good work, McCarty. My dad said it brought him good luck. Maybe it'll bring you good luck, too.
Starting point is 00:49:16 Or kept him alive. Yeah. It's got like a little spiky in it. Yeah, because McCarty is in love with her. Yeah, because he's a grosso. Yeah. And she's 24, so it's fine. He's fine. He's in a band called Plymouth Rocks, which I thought was also very funny. Where he just shreds. Yeah, I love it. He's on a cool float. He has a tiny Halloween back patch, which I really liked to. Oh, nice. Oh, man. So Mitch, Mitch, the manager of the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the manager of the store, Gina Grishan's husband, is protesting with like two other people. And you're supposed to think maybe that makes him the killer, but it certainly doesn't. So we've seen the killer, and the killer has an extremely specific body type. Yeah. They're very thin, they are of moderate height, they are not a barrel-chested bear man, which is what dad is. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:50:12 They are not... And he's like five foot too. They're not a short king. No, they're definitely not a short king. Yeah, it's definitely not them. Mitch is a chunkier guy. Yeah, clearly not him. And. The new cop is like seven foot tall. Yeah, clearly not him. Yeah. How many men are left? Just the fucking sheriff. But I did like that when they stop the parade,
Starting point is 00:50:35 the boat that's being towed by the pickup truck that like Jess and her family are on, the prow of it goes through the cab of the pickup truck and just and just and just and just and just....... And just, and just, and just, and just, and just, and just, and just, the th. the th. th. the th. the th. th. the the th. the the th. th. the th. the thi, thi, the, the, the the thi, the th. th. th. the, the, the, the, th. Yeah, th. Yeah, th. Yeah, th. Yeah, th. Yeah, th. Yeah, th. Yeah, th. Yeah, th. Yeah, th. Yeah, th. Yeah, th. Yeah, th. Yeah, th. Yeah, th. Yeah, the, th. the, th. the the th. the the the th. the the the the the the. the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the. the the. the. the. thethrough the cab of the pickup truck and just right out the dude's face? Yes and his little girl these little girls keep saying granddad wake up sucks. I thought was really funny. It's really funny because his nose is just stuck on the prow. It's super bloody impaled yeah so the parade descends into chaos because a killer clown from outer space comes out and takes off Lionel's head. And his throat, he's fucking decapitates the headlino. And he's throwing smoke grenades everywhere. Yeah I like
Starting point is 00:51:16 that. It's very Assassin's Creed. And then the family get into a cop car and the clown throws a flashbang into the car and then drives them away. Shoot them with darts. Shoot them with darts. And drives away. Kathleen wakes up. What's happening to Kathleen? She's being basted. Okay, I'm sorry but brushing a person with olive oil is also very, very funny. Talking parsley, curly parsley between her toes is funny. It's funny. It's like stuck to her forehead at one point. I thought, I just think the idea of brushing olive oil to a person is hilarious. Putting salt into her eyes. Yeah, it's like really big grains of it. I do like that my autocorrect went crazy on this and it says salt and peepee. No. That's not what it was.
Starting point is 00:52:05 Oh, salt and pepper. Yeah, that's like a really weird porn, salt and peevee. Spendorkel is going to show up. So she's going to get shoved into a giant industrial oven. Right. But first she finds the Hanover cheerleader in a refrigerator inside a bag and she's just like, she's still alive? Yeah, how was that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's like that's like. that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's like that's like that's like that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. that's. that's that's that's that's that's like. that's like. that's like that's like th. that's like that's like that's like that's like that's like that's like that's like that's like that's like that's like thi. that's like, yeah. And she's still alive? Yeah, how is she still alive? Kathleen's like, I'm coming back for you. No, leave the fridge door open. Hmm? Because I'll kill you. So, well, the bag on her head. That would do it too, yeah.
Starting point is 00:52:38 Yeah. There is one really nice, creepy shot here. Do you know what I'm talking about where it's like the shot of the doorway where she's on one side frozen and he's like on the other side coming through the door frozen? I thought that was great. Yeah. And then he gets her and puts her in the oven. Yeah. Sticks of meat thermometer in her. And when she melts it pops out that she's done. Which okay you see I'm laughing. He's also burned the the the the the the the the the the the th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. th. Yeah. th. th. Yeah. th. th. thoes. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. thoes. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah........ Yeah.......... Yeah............... Yeah.... Yeah. Yeah.... Yeah. Yeah. Yeah... th. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. th. Yeah. th. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. th. th. th. th okay, see I'm laughing. He's also burned half of the mask on the oven, and it looks cool, and then he takes it off and puts on a clean one. I was like, no, keep the burned one. So weird. So good.
Starting point is 00:53:14 So he starts live streaming this dinner. Yeah. Because he's got everyone off the tech savvy. And he's so tech savvy. He's like, set the cops the cops the cops the cops the cops the cops the cops the cops the cops the cops the cops the cops the cops the cops the cops the cops the cops the cops the cops the cops the cops the cops the cops th. th. th. th. th. th. th. that's that's that's thi that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's so that's so that's so that's so that's so that's so that's so that's so th. th. th. thi. to. the the to. the to. the to. the to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. that's that's that's that's. He's like, set the cops on this wild goose chase to find where he's doing the live stream. They're like, it's coming from the tunnels. It's coming from the tunnels. Isn't this, it doesn't happen in saw or saw two or one of the saws we watch. I'm certain it does. And kind of also in the one Batman movie where they had to go into all all all all all all allthe tunnels and the Batman or the Bain locked them in the tunnels. Oh yeah but I was just like but yes it's very much like the saw the Donnie Walburg saw yeah oh right
Starting point is 00:53:52 yeah don't true bone chilling crimes try try phones with Donnie Walburne Colin Colin Wohlberg and at the dinner he served step mom he does first he puts the dinner he serves stepmom? He does. First he puts the corkscrew into someone's neck. I can't remember who it is. It's a cheerleader. The cheerleader, okay?
Starting point is 00:54:12 And like pulls it and blood starts pouring out of it. And he says, you might want to let that breathe, which I thought was also funny. I'm laughing through all of this. So yes, this is being live streamed and then he takes one of those big meat tenderizing hammers and just smashes Evan's head to bits. Yeah, it just brains the fuck out of them. But when we see it on the screen, on someone's phone screen, there's just like a ton of likes? What does that mean? Like people are just liking it? Yeah, thrown. Yeah, it's a live stream, so people are liking it. They're watching this murder happen.
Starting point is 00:54:46 Okay. Yeah. All right. You know social needs. I'm not real good at them. You're all the better for it. Thank you. So yes, the the rock dad savior ring has a little spike on it that Jess is able to undo the rope that's tying her and then she hands it off to scuba diving and he's able to free himself as well. I feel like McCarty's dad isn't proud of him. That's all. There's also a line in this that John Carver says to the kids like you had to taunt people to show that you're special. It was like they just got, you had to tau people to show that you're special. It was like, they just got into a store that was closed because the one girl's dad owned
Starting point is 00:55:29 it. But then they were like standing at the window and Evan was like making jerk off hands at like people outside and stuff. Yeah, but like that's not that bad. No. That's, I guess. You went into a store your friend's dad owned right before it opened and then made a jerk off jester the people who were waiting for it to open you riled up the crowd and that's how Gina Gershon died they wouldn't have been riled otherwise they were
Starting point is 00:55:50 pretty fucking riled yeah yeah no he's not he's not correct in what he's doing okay okay I mean I didn't think so so so just jube to get away Scuba doesn't quite get away. Oh, he doesn't quite get away. He gets the axe to question, I think. Yeah. And Jess hops over her fence and immediately sprains her ankle. She, her dead mom charm bracelet gets stuck. Oh, that's right.
Starting point is 00:56:17 And he hits her with the, hits the axe into the bracelet, and she falls down and breaks her leg I guess. Something. It doesn't matter because nothing ever comes of it. Because it doesn't slow her down one bit. No. So, and then she finds McDremy? Yeah, she goes back to the police station I think. No, to the, I don't know why she goes to the John Carver house, but that's where he is. Yeah. Yeah, he's like lying on the ground on the ground of his cruiser. And then she sees Bobby take the John Carver mask off.
Starting point is 00:56:51 Wait, why was he pretending to be dead? Oh because Bobby had hit him in the head. Bobby did actually get him in the head. Why didn't Bobby just kill him? I don't know, but then he like knocked Bobby out and put the John Carver thing on Bobby so that when Bobby stands up he's got the John Carver mask on and perfect time for Jess to see it. It's really well timed. And she's like damn it Bobby. And then then they like... He so she takes the gun off McDreamy's belt while he's allegedly unconscious. He comes up behind her and grabs. her and he and he and he and he and he and he and he and he and he and he and he and he and he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he didn't he didn't he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to he he he he he she takes the gun off McDremy's belt while he's allegedly unconscious. He comes up behind her and grabs her and he's like, it's me, give me the gun, she does. And then, I forget how she realizes that it was him. So they're like making a plan to get away. And she's pulling briars off her pants.
Starting point is 00:57:42 And she sees the same briars on McDreamy's shoes. Right, right. And he had said something about the little details that give it all away. Yes. Which you would learn if you listen to true crime podcasts like dry dry bones. Colan. Real simple. Semi colon. America runs on Duncan. Yes. And Ben Affleck. So he's like, he realizes that she knows he did it. So of course he tells her all about it. And we see a picture of like a sonogram?
Starting point is 00:58:15 Because Gina Gershaw was pregnant. She was going to leave Mitch. I just haven't this is so convoluted. This is so convoluted and like, I don't know. But it's no more convoluted. Gina Grishan is 60 years old. So is McDremy probably. Well, it's a lot easier for a 60 year old man to get a woman pregnant than for a 60 year old woman to get pregnant.
Starting point is 00:58:40 With the science the way it is now. She's 60. And he's her affair partner. I don't think that baby's on purpose. And I don't know if that baby's gonna be okay. Well, definitely not now. No. That's a full-ass baby in the sonogram, though. That's like a, that's a full-ass baby.
Starting point is 00:58:58 That's a big baby. Oh, I forgot my rite j-soak, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th. th. th. th. thi, tho, tho, tho, tho, thi, thi, thi, thi, that's that's that's that's, that's, that's, I's, I's, I's th. And, I's thin. thin. thin, thin, tho-a. that's thi-a. that's that's that's that's that's that's that's thi. thi. thi.table, we've got mom up on the table, and stepmom, and he's carving stepmom, and he says to Pizza Dad, you're, oh man, what does he say? You've always loved your consumers. Yeah. Now eat your step, your wife, or whatever he says to him. When he should have said, you've always loved your consumers, now consume your lover. Oh, that is good.
Starting point is 00:59:30 And I was like, wait, you set it up and you didn't knock it down. No, Eli, take notes, Mr. Roth. We also didn't talk about how the dad pukes with a gag in his mouth, which of course I loved. So gross. Because it like itifurcates the peach. Yeah, I mean it's, and then it's all over his chin, which is really funny. And it's his mustache and his teeth.
Starting point is 00:59:50 His fucking teeth though. They really do carve off a piece of that dark meat. Yeah, it looks overcoached, honestly. It is a very dry looking stymou. She was really thin. She. She. She. She. She. She. She. She. She. She. She. She. She. She was. She was. She was really. She was. She was really th. She was really th. She was really th. She was really th. She was. She was. She was. She was. She was. She was. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. to. to. to. to. It. It. It. It's. It. It. It. It. It. It. It. It. It. It. It. It. It. It. It. It. It. It. It. It. It. It. It. It. It. It. It. It. It was. It was. It was. It was. It was. It was. It was. It was. It was. It was very. It was very. It was very very th. It was very th. It was very very the. It's very very th. It's very very very th. It's very very very very th. It's very very th. It's very very th. It's very th. It's very thin. So social media strikes again. Jess has been filming the whole thing. She's been live streaming. Yeah. And he says at some point, Jess, this year there'll be no leftovers. That's after Bobby throws a baseball through the window. Which if you think I didn't laugh really hard at, you're wrong. That's how Bobby gets in to rescue her. He throws a baseball through the window.
Starting point is 01:00:31 Yeah, gold arm. He's got that golden arm. Da da da da da da da da. Dada. So they're leaving. They're running away in, uh, I think in his uncle's tow truck. How do they get stopped? By Plymuth-B the pl-B. B, B, B, B, B, B, B. B, B. B. B. B. B. B. B. B. B. B. B. B. B. B. B. B. B. B. B. B. B. B. B. B. B. B. B. B. B. B. B. B. B. B. B. B. B. B. B. B. B. B. Bob, Bobby, Bobby, Bobby, Bobby, Bobby, Bob, Bob, Bob, Bob, Bob, Bob, Bob, B, B, Bob, B, B, B. B. B. B. B. B. B. B. B. B. B. B. B. B. B. B. B. B. B. B. B. B. B. B. B. B. B. B. B. B. B. B. B. B. B. B. B. B. B. B. B. B. B. B. B. B. B. B. B. B. B. B. th. thi. B. th. th. B. th. th. th. Bobobobobobobobobob's pick, his uncle's tow truck. How do they get stopped? By Plymouth Rocks. The Plymouth Rocks float! It's so funny, I'm sorry. There's also been this like running gag about her being afraid of muskets because she almost blew herself up with one as a child. And she like loads like a blunderbuss or a musket or something. Where did it come from? It was just on the back of the float truck. Okay. Oh, right, because McCarty had fired it into the air earlier.
Starting point is 01:01:10 Got it. Got it. So being afraid of it, she does know how to load it with gunpowder. Yeah. And then with her mom's bracelet. Right. And then blows up. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. the. the. thi. thi. the. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. the. the. the. the. the. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. to. thi. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. the. the. the. the. the. Quick question. Yeah. What they inflate those turkeys with? Air, I thought. Or gasoline?
Starting point is 01:01:27 Gasoline? I mean, I don't think that parade, when I say floats, I mean big balloons, are flammable? It seems like a real problem. Remember that one year that Charlie Brown went down and he burned all of New York City and they were yelling, oh the humanity. 9-11, that was 9-11, wasn't it? You said you'd never forget. I said I would never forget.
Starting point is 01:01:48 But it blows up the turkey, which shoots the truck out the door. Yeah. It's fine. And then the next scene they're carrying the turkey out like a corpse. Come on, that's funny too. That's funny. That's. That's funny. That's funny. That's. That's. That's funny. That's. That's. That's funny. It got funnier as this movie went on. Yeah. And then they say that the body was not found. They must have been blown to bits. And we see a man wearing like a gas mask and a fireman's costume. I was like, it's the my bloody Valentine ending, which has to be a hat tip to that. The finest slasher ever made. Everybody loves. Yeah. What was that? What was that? Jensenackels? No no. No. No. the the the the the the the the the the the. the. the. the. the. the. th. th. th. thie. the. th. thie. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. thie. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. the body. the body. the body. the body. the body. the body. the body. the body. the body. the body. the th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. th. th. th. th. th. th. th one guy? Starting point is 01:02:29 Yeah. Oh, what was his name? He was so cool. And he had like a really hot girlfriend because he was so funny. Yeah, I liked that for him. Hope for the. There you go. As one, I've grown to love myself. Pro-shonky man. So and it ends with where Eagles stare by the Misfits. Yeah. There you go. Do you like that? I did. I did. I did. I did. I did. I did. I did. Yeah. You never got your omelette of disease tattoo. Did you? I have not? No. I've really slowed down with tattoos as I've become an old man. I'm not. No. I. I. Starting point is 01:03:10 Yeah, maybe for my 50th I'll get a world-fameralist. You won't, though. Get the omelette of disease first, that's funnier. No, where famous is right here. I think I th, I th, I th, I th, I th, I th, I th, I th, I th, I th, I th, I th, I th, I th, I th, I'm thi thi, I'm thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, tho, that, thi, that, thi, tho, tho, tho, tho, tho, tho, tho, tho, tho, tho, tho, tho, tho, tho, tho, tho, tho, tho, tho, tho, tho, tho, tho, tho, is tho, is thoan, is thoan, is tho, is tho, is tho, is a tho, is a that, is a that, is a togeean, is a toge an too. right here. I think we talked about this. I don't think I can be friends with you if you have a podcast logo tattooed on your throat. Well, I think that would end our friendship. Wow. Wow.
Starting point is 01:03:33 I mean, how could I look at you? How could I ever quit this podcast? You would just point at it. Just under my one eye. Teardrop. But it's a werewolf. What if you got the tattoo of the werewolf's face on your face and he was crying? Yeah. And he had an ice cream cone tattooed on his face just like Gucci Maiden. I like that a lot.
Starting point is 01:03:55 Okay, all right. We can stay friends. Katie. Alan. Give me a rating on Thanksgiving. I actually really enjoyed this movie. I. Give me a rating on Thanksgiving. I actually really enjoyed this movie. I thought it was a fun and stupid slasher. I thought that it was funny and the acting is terrible and the plot makes no sense.
Starting point is 01:04:12 But like, it's enjoyable. Yeah, yeah. I'm gonna give it a seven. No, I'm gonna give it a six and a half because it's not a good movie, but I really enjoyed watching it. I think it's six is a solid score for this. Okay. What was that was it? Oh fuck. It was the one we did in the Canadian grocery store? But I think it was just like in the Upper Peninsula it wasn't in Canada.
Starting point is 01:04:32 Yeah. What was that? Yeah. I feel like I wanted my brain is saying blood-sucking freaks but it's obviously not that. No but it like like like like like like like like like like like like. It had something like. It had something like. It had some. It had some. It had some. It had some the the name. It had some. I'm Googling horror horror movie. It wasn't prowler. Grocery store, horror movie grocery store. Intruder. Intruder.
Starting point is 01:04:51 Yeah. You were so much closer with Prowler than I was with blood-sucking freaks. But I feel like this movie like totally fits on that level of horror movie. Yes, it's a modern day intruder. Yeah. Yeah. And I really like that one too. Yeah. Yeah. I think it's like I really liked all the gore in this.
Starting point is 01:05:09 Yeah. Yeah. I think then the first one you get is Gina Gershawn's being scalped. And they, all right. Because we have to remember that this is from not of all time, but some of the most uncomfortable gore of all time, and this is so funny, gore, it's so funny. But it's also the guy who brought you cabin fever, which is also funny. Which I didn't realize was a comedy, the first time I saw it. Sure. Yeah. And then watching it again, I was like, oh wait, I've misread this. So that movie th. So th. So th. So th. So th. So th. So th. So th. So th. Starting point is 01:05:49 Nah. Well Alan, I'm thankful for you. Oh, I'm thankful for you. And I'm thankful that you never get mad that I'm always talking all over you. Why would I get mad about it? I don't know because I can't stop myself.
