Starting point is 00:00:00 Hello Katie. Hi, Alan. Welcome to another episode of Weirwell Famulance with Katie and Alan. Welcome to another episode of Weirrowel Ambulance with Katie and Alan. Welcome to another episode of Wherewulf Ambulance with Katie and Alan. And welcome to me as well. This is Welcome you to another episode of Wherewulf Ambulance of Katie and Allen Allen and I don't know why. This is a movie that a lot of people have suggested. Yes. Yeah, they have wanted us to drag Allen to Hell. And I don't know why. Because I said drag me to hell and you were like drag to the joke, that's the joke. That's the joke. I like that you continue the joke the joke the joke the joke to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to the joke to to to the joke to the joke to the joke to the joke to to to to the joke to the joke to to to drag to that the joke to drag to drag to drag me to drag me to drag me to drag me to drag me to drag me to drag me to drag me that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's tho. that's the joke. the joke. the joke. the joke. the joke. the joke. the joke. that's the joke. that's the joke. the joke. the joke. the joke. the joke. the joke. that's the joke. that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's the joke. That's the joke. I like that you continue the joke not knowing what your own joke was.
Starting point is 00:00:45 Yeah, that makes sense. That checks out. It tracks. It tracks. Is this like our 50th, uh, Just-A-Long movie? He's always a prick, though, isn't he? I don't think he has any other option. Is it just because of his face? Is he a pric in real life? I don't know. I don't know. I know I'm famously smirching people on this show.
Starting point is 00:01:08 I mean, I think like being the Mac in those Mac PC ads just set him up to be like the hipster dickhead for the rest of his life. Hipster dickhead. And in this movie, I think he's meant to have like a character arc where you're like, wow, he's actually not a prick after all. But like, I don't buy it for a second. Because the whole time he's going, Professor Justin Long? Professor Justin Long. He's on the tenure track.
Starting point is 00:01:34 This is harder to, no, it's not harder. Still, scientist Mark Walberg is the most Dr. Marcus Mark. Oh my god. Be scientific, dushbag. Holy shit. I cannot believe we got the happening out of the way so early. We should really revisit that. There's other than Shai Mala movies we could get into. We still have done signs where we can talk to Sheld of Mel Gibson for a long time.
Starting point is 00:01:58 Oh God, that movie is great until you see him. And not him, the aliens. Yeah. Or whatever. I don't remember now. The stupidest alien invaders of all time. Spoiler alert for the, uh, the- Wait, is it that they're afraid of water? No, they're not afraid of it. They're allergic to it, kills them. Imagine floating above earth.
Starting point is 00:02:18 What is that? What Was that milk? Spoilers for signs by the way. Ah, it turns like you don't have to twist everything, my dude. No, I think he's out of that though, right? In the last couple, no? I don't know, you hated that one movie, didn't you? Yeah, split. Yeah. Oh, God. Oh my God. Oh my God. I feel like it was another movie about the Philadelphia Zoo.
Starting point is 00:02:46 You're like, look, we've, okay, anyone who, okay, fine. So we start off in Pasadena, California, 1960 and 9 in a big ass house. Yeah. With some folks bringing their kid there because he's been having issues. They have him wrapped in a blanket as though he were physically ill. He is not. He could walk. He's been hearing voices at nights though and it'd been keeping him up. Yes. Because he stole a necklace from a Romani woman. Right. And it has been cursed. And they didn't give it back. No. Well he tried to give it back. but he was like, uh-uh, you already stole it. If someone tries to steal something, if someone successfully steals something for me, and then tries to give it back, I think I'm gonna take it back.
Starting point is 00:03:31 Yeah, that belongs to me actually. That's actually mine. That's actually mine now. I also feel like this is our chance for redemption. It's a redemption arc. Yeah. And I don't think they ever use the G word in this movie. They, these people do.
Starting point is 00:03:54 Oh, they do. But I think that's because it's the 60s. Right, right. So yeah, he's, so he's got the woman they take him to, it's like a medium or something. Yes, she's a young woman. Yes, who is like, oh man, you've got this monster demon that's gonna come and get you and drag you to hell. Right. And he's seeing like hands on a skylight that nobody else seems to see. Yeah. And the demon is strong AF, as the kids say. Throws him right over the goddamn railing. Yeah. I love that. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. And th. And th. And th. And th. And th. And th. Yeah. And th. And th. Yeah. And th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the th. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. the th. th. th. the the the the the. the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the, as the kids say. Throws him right over the goddamn railing. Yeah. Yeah. And then what happens to him?
Starting point is 00:04:29 And he's okay, except not. He gets drunk to hell. A hand breaks through the floor and grabs him and drags him into the flames, which seems mean. Yeah. Very mean. Why isn't there a good analog to this? In what way? Like, all right, you did some really righteous shit. So for three days, you're going to get hand jobs,
Starting point is 00:04:52 and then on the final day, you're going to get drug to heaven. Well, I think in some religions there are, for sure. You know, 40 virgins and all that. Yeah, but also they're one use one use one use one use one use one use one use one use one use one use one one use one one one one one one one one one one one one one one one one one one one also they're one use only, really, aren't they? They are. Yeah. Because once you get drug to a destination, there's no being drug back, right? You know, like, I got drug to hell and I got drug back to earth. It's true, yeah, you're right. Yeah. Yeah, a bit of a bummer. Are we saying the virgins were single use? Yes, I was saying the viru. I the viru. I the viru. I was saying th. the viru. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. the their. th. thi. Yes. thi. thi. thi. the th. the th. th. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. the. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. the way and I thought, best not correct him.
Starting point is 00:05:25 Best let him think the best of me, you know? No, they're like that pig and Valhalla where you like slice meat off of it and the next day it's a hole again so you can slice meat off of it again. That poor pig. Is it alive? Yeah, yeah, yeah. I hope in my heaven I don't have to slice meat off a living being. I hope that's not part of my paradise. Well let's also hope that you're not there with a bunch of Vikings. It's probably not a good time. No. You don't watch Bullvife coming into the today. My heaven is just watching Acorn in Britbox quietly by myself. Oh man, I had the best old man Gafal the other day while re-watching Endeavor. There was a scene where they were having th out out out out out out out out out out out out out out out out out out out out out out out out out out out out out out out out out the the the th th th th th tho th. th. th. thi th. thi thi, th. thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. thi, thi, thi, thi, thi. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. I, the best old man gafal the other day while re-watching Endeavor. There was a scene where they were having a party and somebody went outside to talk to somebody,
Starting point is 00:06:08 and then his friend comes outside and he's like, hey, get in here, your beer's getting cold. You guys are gross. You're doing it wrong. Drink a cold beer. it's so much better. I was like, man, I love this shit. Oh man, I can't wait for a nice one mate. Oh, I know. This summer's gonna be great. Summer 2024. Nice one mate. Nice one mate. Oh, we're gonna have the best merch. It's gonna be good. Oh yeah, no one's gonna buy it. It's fine. Justin Gray will work for nothing. Um, so he gets drug to hell. And then the lady who they they th they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they th th th th th th the the, the, the, the, the, th. the, thi, thi, th. Starting point is 00:06:49 took the kid to is like I'm gonna meet that demon again demon I'm gonna meet you to be you better watch out demon I'm coming for you. To this I have written gonna show that scene to my kid as a deterrent for taking that which does not belong to her. I think that's a bad idea in retrospect. Then we get the opening credits and then Blamo we're in present day Los Angeles. Yes. Oh yes we open on a very slight, very baby-faced blonde woman doing like a linguistic exercise in her car? Elicution maybe? Okay. It seemed like she was like the rain in Spain falls mainly on the plane. Yeah, I feel like maybe something like that could te to be me to stop that th th that that th that that that th that that that that th. that that that that that th. that that that that that th. that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that. that that that that th. Yeah, I feel like maybe something like that could teach me to stop being so yinzy. But, you gotta steal your charm? You're gonna take away what makes a Katie of Katie?
Starting point is 00:07:35 I guess so. I guess so, yeah. I could be classier. I could still be Katie and not say. say things like eh you know. I don't know if you can. I don't know if you take the eh you know out of Katie you still have a Katie. Oh you know. It's a philosophical question what makes a Katie is it the eh you know? Farts? Embarrassingly drinking too much sometimes and saying eh you know. Phrasing's like I'm a heavy puker. I'm the heavy puker.
Starting point is 00:08:06 The thing I've never heard anyone say before. That's because I made it up. Yeah, I love it. Well, now you've heard another person say it because Lucy has said it to you. I'm a heavy puker. Oh, man. Yeah. So yeah, she's doing herto her job at the bank. Because she's a climber.
Starting point is 00:08:25 She's a climber. Yeah. Can we talk about climbing real quick? Absolutely. Or are climbing specifically? Specifically. She is a, she's trying to climb at her job. She wants to become the assistant manager,
Starting point is 00:08:35 the assistant to the manager. Right. And she lives in a house in Los Angeles, that is set off on its own lot with trees and shit, and there's not a single bar on any of the windows. And what I know about watching a lot of movies set in Los Angeles, she lives in a great neighborhood and is very well compensated for her not yet assistant manager job at the bank. And her house is big, her place is huge. What the hell?
Starting point is 00:09:00 And as like a beautiful view of a city skyline. What the fucks th f f f f f f f f f f f f f f f f f f f f f f f f f f f f f f. And th is th is th is th is th is th is th is th is th is th is th is th th thus? And thus? And th. And th. th. th. thi thi? And thi? thi? th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. And th. And th. And, th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. thi. th. th. th. th. th. And, th of a city skyline. What the fuck is your problem? And she's going to marry that genius professor? Ugh. Well, not if his mom has anything to do with it. Mm-hmm. So yes, she's coveting this job of assistant manager. Which she is competing for with this guy Stu. Yeah, I like Stu.
Starting point is 00:09:23 Who, do you? He's a real piece of shit. He is a real piece of shit. He walks up to the boss in sort of like a background scene and he goes, ah, this is the loan we talked about and the boss goes, oh the loan and he goes exactly. I was like, yeah, you're loan officers, like what the fuck else? So good. And her boss is like you the thi the thi thi thi thi th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th tho thus thus in thus thus tho tho tho th. Stoo's been making the tough decisions and he's in the lead right now for the ass man job, as we refer to the assistant manager. Ask man for assistant manager.
Starting point is 00:09:54 There was this fantastic Nairdwell when I lived in Delaware that worked at the gas station that was right around the corner from my house. So, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, and th, th, th, and th, and th, th, th, th. And, th. And, thi, thi, thi, thi, so tho, so thoomorrow, so thi, so thi, so thoomorrow, so tho, so tho, so tho, so tho, so thi, so thi, so thi, so thi, so thi, so thi, so thi, so thi, so thi, so thi, so thi, so thi, so thi, so thi, so thi, so thi, so thi, so thi, so thi, some, some, some, some, some, somea, so thi, thi, thi, thii's thiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii's thi, thi, so the corner from my house, so I'd run there to buy cigarettes. Sure. And he was just like this dude who would sit in the parking lot when he wasn't working, drinking 40s. Yeah, I love that guy. And he was 50 years old. Sure. And he looked like Captain Kangaroo. Okay.
Starting point is 00:10:16 And he had a, he man. Oh, Carl. Bet Carl is an ass man. But Carl's still an ass man. There's no way Carl's still alive. Carl's 100% dead. Carl has shed this mortal. Rip Carl. So she's got a, she's got to like step it up. And her boss is like, hey, can you, why don't you go do that loan business outside of the bank. Yes. And Stu's like, why you the the the the the th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that's that's like, Carl, Carl, Carl, Carl, Carl, Carl, Carl, that's still still still still still still still still still still still still still still still still still still still still still still still still still still still still still still still still still still still still still still still still still still still still still that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that that that that that th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th. th. th. th. th. th. that th. that's th. thi. thi. th. thi. th. thi. the. thi. thi. thi. thi. that's that's that's thi. that's that loan business outside of the bank? And then get me a turkey club.
Starting point is 00:10:45 Yes. And Stu's like, why you're there? I'd love a turkey club. Stu's a bitch. He's a little bitch. So she takes her sweet time with this. She goes to visit Justin Long at college. Where she's brought him a new corner for his coin collection. Yes, a walking liberty, which he's like stoked about.
Starting point is 00:11:06 Which he loves so much that later in the movie, the only thing his father says to him is, how's your coin collection? Like, what's it up to? Like, what's it up to? What's it? How's it? I wonder what the word for coin collector is.
Starting point is 00:11:18 I know, like stamp collector has yeah. I don't remember what it is but coin collector's got to be like a I don't know. If only there was a way for us to find out with these devices we have in our hands. He's really into a coin collecting. Because he sucks and he's boring. And he calls her sexy for unjamming a printer which I think is just weird. He's a man of the mind so when when he sees someone of mechanical means, he gets all horned out. Gets a fucking boner. Yeah. Yeah. He's having a personal conversation at work on speakerphone, even though he's only been there a week, which I think is a very bad look. And luckily though, his partner is there to overhear this conversation with this disrespectful
Starting point is 00:12:05 ass mother. Right, this conversation about her. Yeah. That she's just not good enough. And mom has another lady all lined up for him. that's the other lady to know. Right. She's got certain expectations for her son.
Starting point is 00:12:18 Is this what the rich people are like? All the time. That's why I had to break up to to to break to break to break to break to break to break to break to break to break to break to to break to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to the to the the the the the thoomk, thoomathea. thoomathea. thoom. thoom. thoom. thoom tho o' tho o' tho o' tho o' tho o' tho o' tho o' tho o' tho o' th with is what they're like all the time. That's good to know. Yeah, that's why I had to break up with all my rich friends. I mean, I have certain expectations of you, and that's not having any rich friends. It's true. It's true. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:12:36 Like about the time I was talk who the fuck do you know that's a millionaire? So we go back to work, stew's a dick? He definitely did not say no Mayo, which is the joke here. Not the joke, the the sticking point. But he and the boss look at each other like, women, am I right? And I just thought like, why do you want this job? Why do you want this job? Why do you want this job? Is it just so you can like move up in the world, which is a bit of a bummer? Social climber. Yeah. I mean, she has no other personality. No, she doesn't. Should we see nothing else of her?
Starting point is 00:13:14 Yeah. Yeah. She's not like at home, like collecting coins, their tho tolli. knit a hat. Put a puzzle together. Seriously, watch a British crime drama. Read philosophy books and then annoy your partner with the things that you learn in them. Don't do that actually that's a great way to break up. Oh, whoops. Note to self. See, we're full of good advice on this show. Some for us, some for you. Yeah. See, we're full of good advice on this show.
Starting point is 00:13:45 Some for us, some for you. Yeah. So she sees Stu also greasing the wheels. He's like, hey, I've got these tickets for sports ball game. Would you like to go to a sports ball and sit in the sports boss action? That's why I've been out that says they bring the hot dogs right to you. Because that's what to her because she needs help? Babushka lady with a rough cough. Wait Octavia Spencer was in this? Yeah
Starting point is 00:14:14 she's in the background at one point. What? I never saw her? She's in the bank like when shit goes down to the bank she's in the background like, zibusine. Weird. Yeah yeah she she she she she she she she she she she she she she she she she she she she she she she she she she she she she she she she she she she she she she she she she she she she she she she she she she she she she she she she she she she she she she she she she she she she's she's she's she's she's she's she's she's in she's in she's in she's in she's in she's in she's in th. She's in she's she's she's she's. She's she's she's. She's she's she's she's in she's in she's in she's in she's she's in she's in she's in she's in she's in she's she's in she's she's in she's she's in she's she's she's she's she's she's she's she's she's she's she's she's she's she's she's she's she's she's she's she. She. She she's she's she's she's she's in she's in she's in she's in th. She's in th. She's in th. She's in th. She's in th. She's in th. She's in the the th. She's in th. She's in th. She's in th. She's in th. She's in th. She's inthe bank, she's in the background like, this, zublib-zibble, zippa-zibbib. Weird. Yeah, she's just doing like, cicerous at the background. Ciceroz. Okay, well anyway, this lady's got a rough cough in a weird eye. She does have a rough cough in a weird eye. She appears to be gross. And this was his like after doing the Spider-Man movies. Okay, so he he's a horror guy who how did he end up doing Spider-Man movies? I don't know. I guess they were like, you can do these Spider-Man? Are they good? Do people like them? Yeah, people like
Starting point is 00:14:59 them for sure. They've definitely liked better than like the Andrew Garfields.'s, but not as much of the Tom Holland Spider-Man. Wait, are these the Toby McGuire Spiderman? Yes. Okay, so I did see a Spiderman with Toby McGuire and Kristen Dunst. Yeah, and Kristen Dunst. Uh-huh, uh-huh. Uh-huh. Uh-huh.
Starting point is 00:15:15 I don't know why Ithought I said his name wrong too and that it was a joke of both of them but I didn't. Toby Max and Kiki. Kiki baby. Yeah, and they always have Bruce Campbell in him. He's in every one of the Spider-Man movies. Are they just like BFFs? Yeah. I love that for them. When I went to do my annual tweet about 420. Yeah, yeah. Yeah. W. threat. to to to th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. Yeah. Yeah. th. Yeah. Yeah. th. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah........................................ Yeah.... Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.. Yeah... Yeah. Yeah..... Yeah. Yeah. Yeah...... Yeah. Yeah. Yeah... Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.. Yeah.. Yeah, yeah. Yeah, yeah. Which was a get high and do crimes for Satan, Eleanor Roosevelt, probably. Very good. I saw a tweet from Bruce Campbell that was him smoking a J that said happy 420. Love that guy. So the woman who's not the nun, I'm a fucking moron. It's the nose. I thought the nose. I thought the nose. I thought the nose. I thought th th th th th th tho tho tho tho tho tho tho tho tho tho tho tho tho tho tho tho tho tho tho tho tho tho tho tho tho- I tho- I tho-I tho-I tho-I those I tho-I those I those I those I those I those I those I those I those I those I those I those I those I those I tho tho tho tho tho tho tho tho tho tho tho tho tho tho tho tho tho tho tho tho-I tho-a tho-a tho-a tho-a tho-a thoooo-a thoo-a tooo-a tooo-a tooooooooooooooooooooooooo a very old woman. No, no, no, that's what I thought too. I was like Sam Ramey, it's going to be affected out. I'm a fucking idiot. No, you're not.
Starting point is 00:16:09 You just need a mistake. It's okay. Oh, no, one mistake. What does Nita say? I don't know, probably that you wouldn't make that you wouldn't make a that, that, that, that, that, tha, tha, tha, tha, thu, thu, thu, thu, thu, thin, thin, thin, thin, thin, thin, thin, tho, tho, tho, to make, that, thi, to be, to be, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, to thin, thin, to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to thin, that's true. So, Mrs. Gannouche. That's also what all of my family members say. I don't feel guilty. Go on. That's what's led to us being here today. Why are we funny? Mrs. Gannouche.
Starting point is 00:16:36 Mrs. Gnush. Yes, Mrs. Gnush. Yes, Mrs. Gnush. It's like, hey, I'm going to get kicked out out out th. I th. I'm going th. I'm going that I'm going that I'm going that I'm going that I'm going that I'm going that I'm going that I'm going that I'm going that I'm going that I'm going that I'm going that I'm going, I'm gonna get kicked out of my house if you don't extend my chance to repay this loan. Right. And this terrible, terrible person who works at the bank, who is our main star and the person we're supposed to care about, is immediately like, I can socially climb and job climb
Starting point is 00:16:56 if I just kick this old woman out on the street. Yes, she's had two extensions already. And so she goes, what is, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, tho, thi, thi, thi, tho, tho, tho, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, the, the, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, the, the, the, thea, thea, thea, ta, ta, ta, ta, ta, ta, thauu., thau. says what should we do and he has told her this morning that she needs to make the tough decisions. And then he says if you kick her out she forfeits on her loan and we make a bunch of extra money. Yep and I was like oh that's disgusting. Oh that's banking. This isn't going to get you the ass-man job if you help her. No. So what she do? Well, it's a tough decision and Stu is a dick, so she kicks her out of her house.
Starting point is 00:17:34 Mm-hmm. And I also just don't think she's cut out for the world of banking. No. I think she should try to socially climb in a different, she should should be like, th and, maybe you're kind of acting. Yeah, she's very cute. She's got to look for it. Look for it. Yeah, like, yeah, get into the non-profit world. That's gonna be better for you.
Starting point is 00:17:52 There's a food bank out there that needs like a social coordinator. Yeah, totally. You know where you make the big money. So this woman gets down on her knees and is doing this whole like, I never beg, but I beg you. And then she shames Mrs. Gannouche. By turning away when Mrs. Gannouche grabs her? And calling in the security men. I mean, you really can't just grab people in public though. I feel like she kind of shamed herself.
Starting point is 00:18:23 She did overstep her mouth. Yeah, you cannot just grab people in public though. I feel like she kind of shamed herself. She did overstep her mouth. Yeah, you cannot just grab people. And also murdering her maybe at overstepped as well or attempting to murder her. Yeah, I think that's a big, that's a big, it's a big reaction. No one's the good guy in this movie. No one's a good guy in this movie. No. Not even just along. No, who I think is meant to be and you're just like nah I refuse. Make them a walrus already. Oh God, God Willie, I'll never see that movie again. I mean I think you can have you have the power there, you have the control. Do I? Yes. Um. What would Nietzsche say about having control? I don't read Nietzsche? I was reading this philosopher that I heard about
Starting point is 00:19:09 yesterday when I was reading about the death of another philosopher. Great. And they, he, there was a quote for him that was like, your cell phone is the digital panapticon. And I was like, fuck I need to read this dude because that's an amazing sentence. Yeah, it is pretty good. Yeah, so I started reading him. And then I'm reading. Now you're telling me me me me me me me me me me me me me me me, th, the, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. thi, thi, thi, this, this, thi, thi, this. I, this. I, this. I, this. I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I. I. I, I, I. I, I, I, I, I. I, I, I, this. I, this. I, this. I, this. I, this. I, this. I, this. I, this. I, th. I, th. I, th. I, th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. thi. th. this, this, this, this, this, amazing sentence. Yeah, it is pretty good. Yeah, so I started reading him and then I'm reading. Now you're telling me about the things you read in a philosophy, okay, see this is how we break up. I'm an old man. No, I know. No, I know.
Starting point is 00:19:35 I laughed at myself because I was listening to John Coltrade and reading philosophy. Tell me my old man thoughts. Tell. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. thi. thi. Okay. Okay. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. th. th. Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. th. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. th. Yeah. th. I. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.ell me you're 50. Hmm. Drinking your coffee. I'm thinking your old man thoughts. I think my old man thoughts. Yeah. Uh, dress like a lumberjack. Anyway, um... I did think that when I pulled up this morning and you were wearing a red and black plaid shirt and an orange beanie out front.
Starting point is 00:19:59 I was like, Alan cutting down some fucking trees? What are you doing? You know, gnome Corps. So Mrs. Gannouche gets tossed. She does. And the manager is like, you know what? You're at the top of the list now because you were a shithead. Because you ruined that woman. You've ruined her. And we've seen that Mrs. Gannush is driving like a 1970s giant pimpobile. So when she goes out to the parking garage, which we did not know existed prior to this, and it's dark Because she would love to work at night just carrying home not just the files, but also like her desk drawer organizer with like pens and tape and a stapler because she's got to work overnight stop stop at staples. Stop at Staples. Half these things at home. And it's like 2009. this movie presupposes that it's the. the. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. the th. th. th. th. the the thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th. th th th. thi. She thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. theeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee. thi. thi. thi. thi Yes. Take the laptop home. This movie presupposes that it's the 1980s. The last time San Marami saw the inside of an office. Yeah, there you go. But we see Mrs. Gannouche's car is parked in the parking garage. Yeah, and it's bum-bum-ba. Yeah, you're right, because we saw Mrs.
Starting point is 00:21:02 Ganush's car earlier in the parking lot, right? Out front, the surface lot? There's no reason this tiny ass bank would have a parking garage connected to it in any way, shape, or fore. You're very right. Where's Octavia Spencer going to park, I guess? We see the hanky is now floating in the parking lot, like yeah, yeah. God. These are the movies that we were supposed to aspire to as youths. You're right. That sucks.
Starting point is 00:21:31 I guess I wasn't a youth when that movie came home. Oh, I sure was. I was like 15, yeah. Uh, this is what love looks like. Oh God. What's Thora Birch up to these days? I don't know. Last time I saw her, she was in a lifetime movie about like a pregnancy pact. No.
Starting point is 00:21:56 Where like high school girls all got pregnant together. She took a Christian turn at some point? Probably. Yeah. So the floating hanky lands on the windshield and then Mrs. Gannouche is mysteriously in the backseat of the car. Grabbing her hair and shit. What the fuck Gannouche? Gnush loves to pull out chunks of hair. What is Christine is Allison Lohmann? Yeah. Does not have the thickest hair to begin with? And Mrs. Gannush takes like half of it throughout the the making of this film. She takes like half of it and in a way that there should be blood. Yeah, like in scalping her. She's like ripping
Starting point is 00:22:33 out scalp when she's doing that but that's not happening. No which is weird because Sam Ramey loves gross shit. Yeah including stapling an old woman in her eyes. Yeah, right in the weird eye. Right in the weird eye. And then she like shoves Allison Lohman into the dashboard and is like gumming her, which is very funny and very good. Right, after she crashes the car and sends a lady into the front seat,
Starting point is 00:22:57 and she's like gumming her and there's so much, like, she has her chin in her mouth. Which I do to to to th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th thi, thi, th, th, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, th. th. th. th. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi, thi, thi, thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi as like a she hates it. She hates it so much. But it's so fun to do. And then I was like oh it's actually scary maybe I should stop doing them. Because she has no teeth so she's able to just gum her. And like drool is pouring down Christine's face for the oh it's so green for some reason. Yeah because she's an old lady. She's an old lady. I mean, when you get old, Alan can attest, your drool turns green, right Alan? Uh-huh, fuck you, I'm not that old. I'm not at the green stage.
Starting point is 00:23:34 No, okay, well? The trot. Pretty good. Like down the mouth and yeah, it's pretty gross. And then kicks her out of the car. And screams I beat you, you old bitch. Did you? Maybe get your cell phone out. You know, like maybe call someone. What's a cell phone in 2009? What is that? We had cell phones back then? And then Canoes, she's got a the b-oomp-o to to to to to to. to. to. their. to. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. And then Canoes steals her button. Yeah. And curses the button. And she's got a brick, too, which I was like, where'd you get that brick? Where'd you get the, you're in a parking garage? The parking garage.
Starting point is 00:24:12 All right. All right. Soon it will be you who comes and there's cops and stuff. Right. Did the version of you this did you watch this on Shutter? Yes. Did it keep like going to like commercial blitz? Yes, I was surprised by that because I knew this was a major motion picture release. I don't know what happened there. I don't remember that when I saw in the theater but this is the unrated version. thiated version of the th. I th. I th. I th. I thi. I thi. I thi. I thi. I thi. I thi. I thi. I thi. Did it's theeat. Did it's theate. Did it thi. Did it thate. Didrated version that was like not a single titty. The unrated version of the movie. What's some gnoosh titties?
Starting point is 00:24:49 Hey, yeah. Tiddettie's a titty, you know? And they are all, he has come to pick her up and take her home. Yeah. Justin Long's name is Clay. Yeah. And they are all, he has come to pick her up and take her home. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:25:09 And they stop by to get her fortune read. She wants to go to a fortune teller, and he's like, fuck you. But then they meet Rom Joss. I love him. I wish she would have left Justin Long for him. Yeah. He really cared about her. He's very good looking. Yeah, I was going to say much more handsome. Much more handsome. No disrespect to Mr. Long. No, let's disrespect him. Have you ever had your fortune read or a terro reading read or anything like that? Katie. What do you think the answer is to them? The answer is no? I had a taro reading once at a bachelorette party and everything she said was completely not applicable to me.
Starting point is 00:25:48 Did it end in like, and here's a picture of a tick, a bad bachelorette party. All the terra cards were actually just like, you know, the Joker or whatever, but he had a just like a giant shlong. It was the poker. Perfect. The hanging dong instead of the hanged man. Very good. Oh my God, I should invent this. Justin Gray, will you do the art? I'll share in the proceeds. Justin Gray, let me dicks you want to troll. I can just use one and then like Photoshop. Yeah, I think he can make it work. This is a probably you and him conversation. Yeah, I'll get with him off line. Copyright, copyright. Copyright. The the co. The the cock. I. I. I. I. I. I. Starting point is 00:26:27 It's gonna be great. That's, by the way, that has to exist. You could buy it at Spencer's gifts. Next to the like penis-shaped pasta. And the underwear for two. What? Do you remember the underwear? No I don't.. That's, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, the the the the the the the the the th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. thi. the the, th. th. the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. Starting point is 00:26:45 That sounds like a nightmare. Yeah. After my bachelorette party, I woke up on my couch very, very hungover and to the sound of something clicking around and it was just Glen knocking a pink plastic penis into the baseboards of the walls, just batting it all over the house. It's like a dystopstop stupid stupid stupid stupid stupid stupid stupid stupid stupid stupid stupid stupid stupid stupid stupid stupid stupid stupid stupid stupid stupid stupid stupid stupid stupid stupid stupid stupid stupid stupid stupid stupid stupid stupid stupid it was it was it was it was it was it was it was it was it was. Starting point is 00:27:10 So in this meeting, Justin Long can't stop talking about Young because he just cannot, he loves his work so much. Talk to your philosophy bullshit. Yep, it's going really well. Then they get a Young versus Freud off? Yes. And then the tarot card reader, what's his name again? Ramjoss. Romjoss looks at her and says, did you play with a weeged board or consort with those who practice the black arts? And Justin Long's like, hey, take it easy man. Like, he called her a name? Or like, was getting aggressive with her?
Starting point is 00:27:46 He was not. My girlfriend's not 15. Why would you do those things? She would never consort with those who practice the dark arts. And then he guesses about the button. The button being missing. He sure does. And Justin Long's like, yeah, you can see it.
Starting point is 00:28:03 It's not there anymore. Right. It's just some magician tricks, huh? And then the wind picks up. And he sees the old woman's face in some fire or something. I don't know. It doesn't matter. And he's like, hmm, you're cursed. Yeah, you cursed. So they go back to her house and we see her little baby kitty. Yeah. Okay, we're meant to believe that she loves this cat very much. That she's a good human being. She does not name the cat. The cat's name is Kitty. Yeah. Come on.
Starting point is 00:28:32 Yeah, fuck you. It's because she has no soul. Yes. She is just an empty vessel. Yeah. Yeah, that sucks. Like, how much character Bruce Campbell is given as Ash and the Evil Dead movie? Totally. Why couldn't you bestow the same upon this woman? And if you want us to like the cat, if you want us to care what happens to the cat, I
Starting point is 00:28:56 feel like it needs a name. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. And also don't put a cat on a table because then cats can think they can be on the table. Well, you can't train cats so they can always go wherever they want. That's not entirely true. That's what I've been telling myself for years. Yeah, well, your cats are ill-mannered. My one cat eats on the kitchen table. So the dogs won't steal their food. We also see that she finds a photo of her th used to be a bit chonky and we're supposed to infer something from that?
Starting point is 00:29:26 I guess that she's shallow now that she's thin or like what is all of that? So she was, she was chunky. Yeah. And she was like, a four-h girl. A four-h girl. Which is why she was doing the elocution, get rid of her accent. In that photo, she's like 29 years old. Was she doing 4-H at age 29? They like grown up to it? She was like 15.
Starting point is 00:29:47 No, she was not. It was a photo of her. She was the pork queen. Yeah. Yeah. But I don't understand what her weight has to do with this, because later in the movie... Oh, fat people are gross. Yeah, that doesn't seem like a Sam Ramey kind of vibe, though.
Starting point is 00:30:06 Yeah, I think. Because he's generally not unkind, I feel. I feel like that, like, this is a movie where he was just getting in like archetypes of people that he does not like. So like people, maybe that's like. Doing his Argento cop thing. Yeah, people who are ashamed of having tha. tha. tha. tha. tha. tha. tha. thi. thi. thi. thin. thin. thin. thin. thin. thin. thin. thin. thi. thin. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. I, thi. I, thi. I, thi. I, thi. I, thi. I, thi. I, thi. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I, thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. theeeeeeeee. theea. theeeee. theee. the. the. the. the in their life, they're not good people. Yeah, I guess. Or something, I don't know, or it was just like easy pickets. Like picking on the fat person, it's always easy.
Starting point is 00:30:29 It doesn't, that's what I'm saying. It doesn't feel like something he would do. Right. Which is, it just, it hit me weird. the only other time is. his daughter or granddaughter or whatever who's like you used to be fat didn't you? She's like, oh! Like what? Yeah and then I made some life changes that I'm happy with. What the fuck? That's not a diss? I don't know if it's meant to just show that she's climbing? Like, yeah. But like, I don't know. It's a weird choice. It's a weird choice. Yeah. Again, I feel like character development was second fiddle to gross out. To gross out, I guess.
Starting point is 00:31:07 Although this movie isn't as gross as you would think it would be for being a gross out movie. Especially an unrated version of a gross out movie. Yeah. I was disappointed at the gross out. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:31:18 I was actually disappointed the whole thing. I know people like this movie. I was like, same girl. Yeah. And not the first time that I've seen this movie, nor the first time that I've been disappointed about this movie. But we'll get to that in the ratings phase. Stick around or don't. You already know what it's going to be. So the Pork Queen's at home.
Starting point is 00:31:35 Yeah, don't call her that. No, that's what her sash. I know. I know. I know. I know. I know. I know. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I that. I that. I that. I that. I that. I that's. I'm. I'm. I'm. I know. I know. I know. I know. I know. I know. I know. I know. I know. I' that. I' that. I' that. I' that. I' that's that. I' that's what. I's what. I's what. I's what. I's what. I's what. I's what. I's what. I's what. I's what. I's what. I's what. I's what. I's what. I's what. I's what. I's what. I's. I's. I s. I's. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I know. I know. I know. I know. I know. I know. I know. I know. I know. I know. I know. I know. I know. I know. I know. I know. I know. I know. I know. I know. I know. I know. I know. I know what. I know says. I'd wear a pork queen t-shirt. Yeah, me too, actually. I love pork products. And I love pigs because they're so cute and friendly and smart and loyal and clean, but I also fucking love salami and a nice pursuit. This is the thing I've been saying for years. Yeah. Uh, vegan food scientists, if you can perfect a salty cured hand. I'm, I'm, this is a thi thi tou, thin, I love the the the the, I the, I for years, uh, vegan food scientists, if you can perfect a salty, cured ham product, like, you will like win the fucking, like, that's the thing that I feel like everybody breaks for is like, oh, I'm gonna get a pepperoni pizza. Because, God bless you, vegetarian pepperoni, you are nowhere in leagues with regular ass pepperoni. No it's like eating shoe leather. Or just something is like mmm-mah-haha. It's in my mouth but is it food? Yeah but pepperoni is like
Starting point is 00:32:34 salty and greasy and like just it's like mmm this little mm-mm it's like it's it's triggering in the best way when you eat it. Yeah, it really is. I know so many people that have broken for pepperoni pizza. Salami for me. Yeah, salami. My cousin Brad and I were like secretly eating salami when we were supposed to be vegetarian. Then we both just gave up. The most fucking Italian thing you've ever done. Yeah. We're a secret salami. So she, I guess she fucks Justin Long after this whole terrible experience.
Starting point is 00:33:10 I think I'd be like, no don't touch me. Yeah, because we have to go through 25 to 30 minutes of creaking. Yeah. There's so much creaking going, like the gate's creaking, the house is creaking, the wind is creaking, my butt's creaking, and the creaking, creaking, and then she calls Justin Long over. Yeah. Yeah. And she's been physically battered this evening.
Starting point is 00:33:32 So yeah, so they're going to get their swerve on. Sure. That's what you do when Justin Long comes over. And then they fall asleep and there's like a goat head shadow, which is not nearly as scary as you'd like it to be. No. And she sleeps in like a collared sweater with buttons. Is that what the Nouveau Rish do? What if a yacht party suddenly breaks out while I'm sleeping? Fock.
Starting point is 00:33:58 So there's a fly. There's a fly. I don't like to think about bugs on my face while I'm sleeping. So there's a fly in the house. I don't like to think about bugs on my face while I'm sleeping. You know it happens. I know it happens, but I hate it because I'm also a mouth breather when I sleep during your lifetime. That's not true.
Starting point is 00:34:17 Okay. So you're not a vegetarian after all, then. So you're not a vegetarian after all, then. So, Justin Long's like, yeah, let's take a trip together. We're going to take a little vacation. Yeah, they've been together a year and he hasn't taken her to his parents' cabin and Santa Barbara. Or seemingly met his family at all! A year is a long time. A long time. Especially because she's... They've got to be in their 30 30 30 30 30 30 30 30 30 30 30 30 30 30 30 30 30 30 30 30 30 30 30 30 30 30 thirtirtirtirtirtirtirtirtirthirthirthirthirth. to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to, to, to to, to, to to. Ha. Ha. Ha. Ha. Ha. Ha. Ha. Ha, hmm, hmm, hmm, hmm, hmm, hmm, hmm, hmm, hmm, hmm, hmm, hmm, hmm, hmm, hmm, hmm, hmm, hmm, hmm, hmm, hmm, hmm, hmm, hmm, hmm, to, to, to, to, to to to to to to to to to to to to to to th. Ha, thi. Ha, thi. Ha, thi. Hmm, too. Hmm, too, too, to to to to, to, to, to, to, to, to to. Especially because she's, they've got to be in their 30s. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:34:47 Even so, like if I was 20 and my partner did not introduce you to their family. After a year? Especially if they're not ashamed of their family. Sure, sure. Yes. Yes, there don't seem to be extenuating circumstances. No, they're just really rich. Yeah. Yeah. Even more so, get in there so you can get in that will, get that money. Have a baby real quick. Get more money if you have a baby probably. What? So yeah, the fly goes up her nose and then into her mouth. I'm not sure what would
Starting point is 00:35:21 be grosser to wake up to. Up your nose. No, Justin Long or the old lady. Because she like sort of wakes up to an old lady barfing bugs on her face. Yeah. Yeah. Which I remember being much grosser than it is. It's not gross. It's not like, I mean, we're desensitized. Maybe regular people would find it gross. It's not answering the maggot phone. That's it though isn't it? That's the gold standard where a person vomits on camera and wasn't supposed to. Or also in that movie when that one woman vomits up her own intestines. I liked that a lot. So good. So good. Thank you
Starting point is 00:35:56 Volchie. We talk a lot of shit. You've given me so much joy and so much confusion. Sure. Yeah. Yeah. And thank thank. Thank. Thank. Thank. Thank. Thank. Thank. Thank. Thank. Thank. Thank. Thank. Thank. Thank. Thank. Thank. Thank. Thank. Thank. Thank. Thank. Thank. Thank. Thank. Thank. Thank. Thank. Thank. Thank. Thank. Thank. Thank. Thank. Thank. Thank. Thank. Thank. Thank. Thank. Thank. Thank. Thank. Thank. Thank. Thank. Thank. Thank. Thank. Thank. Thank. Thank. Thank th. Thank. Thank. Thank. Thank. Thank. Thank. Thank. Thank. Thank. Thank. Thank. Thank. Thank. Thank. Thank. Thank. Thank. Thank. Thank. Thank. Thank. Thank. Thank. Thank. Thank. Thank. Thank. Thank. Thank. Thank. Thank. Thank. Thank. Thank. Thank. Thank. Thank. Thank. Thank. Thank. Thank. Thank. Thank. Thank. Thank. Thank. Thank. the. Thank. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. Sure, yeah. Yeah. Yeah. And the movie I was talking about during that episode was the New York Ripper, not Manhattan Baby. You can see my confusion. I can. So yeah, Miss Gannush pukes bugs all over, but it was just a dream. And she wakes up and he's like, baby baby baby.
Starting point is 00:36:23 He like, baby baby, I hate that. Yeah, not a baby. She's a grown-ass woman. Grownass woman. She's got her own place. She's got a little fly buzzing in her tummy. She's got her own really nice place. Yes.
Starting point is 00:36:35 She got that pork queen money. Yeah. That's probably sold that pig that pig. that pig. that pig. that pig. that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that's that that's that's that's that's that's that's that's. that's. that's. that's. that's a that's probably. that's a that's that. She's that. She's that. She's a that. She's a that. She's a that. She's a that. She's a that. She's a that. She's a that. She's. She's. She's. She's. She's. She's. She's. She's. She's. She's. She's. She's. She's. She's. She's. She's. She's. She's. She's. She's. She's. She's. She's. She's. She's th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. She's th. She's got th. She's got th. She's got th. She's got th. She's got th. She's th. She's a th. She's probably sold that pig for a lot of money. Some pig! So, uh, Christine is at work the next day and the fly is buzzing around in her tom-tum. Uh-huh. Mm-hmm. I like that. She's talking to Stu and Stu's wrapping his knuckles on the table. I want to see Stu get hit by a car. And she says, get your filthy pig knuck off my head. Right, because as she's watching him tap, it sort of turns into like Mrs. Gannush's yucky fingernails. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:37:09 And then I thought, do they know that she was attacked in the parking garage last night? Because it seems like she should have the day off. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. But she can't have the loans. Right. And then she gets a nosebleed. Yeah, all over everyone. And her boss yells, what is with you? Which reminded me if that scene in Hell House where the dude barfs and the other dude just goes, what is your problem? The worst reaction? What the fuck is wrong with
Starting point is 00:37:38 you to someone having like a physical thing they can't control? So good. I'm in liver failure. You're a loser. Get your shit together? Get your their the the the their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their things. things. things. things. things. things. things. things. things things things things things things things things things. things. theoons. their their their th they can't control. So good. I'm in liver failure. You're a loser. Get your shit together. Why? Oh, pig-nuckle. So while all this is going down, this is the scene where we see Octavia Butler in the background.
Starting point is 00:38:02 I did not see that, but go on. She's just wandering around. That's really, really it. Octavia Spencer, right? Octavia Spencer, sorry, Octavia Butler was an author. Mm-hmm. Kavia Spencer, yes, in the background. Christine leaves and goes to Mrs. Gannush's house, which we were told the bank was taking that day. Uh-huh. They must not have because they're having because they're because they're because they're having because they're having because they're having they're having they're having they're having they're having they're having they're having they're having they're having they're having they're having they're having they're having they're having they're having they're having they're having they're having a they're having they're having they're having a they're having a they're they're they're they're they're they're they're they're they're they're having they're having they're having they're having they're having they're having they're having they're they're they're they're they're they're they're they're they're they're they're they're they're having they're having they're having they're having they're having they're having they're having they're having they're having a thi thi. Because thi. Because to have having a to have having a to have having a to have to have to have to have thii. Because thiiiiiii. Because th dies. Not true, actually. But yes, we meet her daughter, granddaughter, I don't know, who says you used to be a real fat girl, didn't you? I can tell.
Starting point is 00:38:35 And then she says, you are not welcome here. Is that because she used to be fat? Yeah, no fatties? There was no fatty son on the front door. No current or former. But yes, she's suddenly in the middle of a wake. Yeah. And it feels a bit racist. Like there's just a bunch of like Ramani people being Ramani. I don't know. It's the same way I feel about when they show Italian Americans. Just like, it would be like if you went to an Italian wake, and everyone was just eating spaghetti with their bare hands. I don't. It. It. It. It. It. It. th. th. their, it. th. th. their, it. their, it, it, th. their, th. their, their, th. their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, the, their, their, their, their, their, their, their. their. their. It's like they didn't bother to get Stanley Tucci to
Starting point is 00:39:05 come in and verify all this was legit. Have you read his book? No? I hear it's fantastic. Yeah, it's all about food. Sure. Yeah, man loves food. Yeah, highly recommended by my cousin Vicki. Oh, I see. She loves the touch. She loves the touch. She loves to loves to loves to loves to loves to loves to loves to loves to loves to to to to to to to to to to to to toooooochs. She's touch. touch. touch. touch. touch. touch. touch. the touch. thooooch. the thoooch. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. It seems like a sophisticated man as well. I think he's nice. People like him too. I think he's nice. Yeah. Wood. Her suit.
Starting point is 00:39:31 So while she's in the wake for Mrs. Gannouche, because the granddaughter or whatever's like, yeah, come in and see my grandmas. You are not welcome here, you're suddenly inside. What? She sees Mrs. Gannouche, she falls on Mrs. Gannouche, takes Mrs. Gannouche out of her coffin, Mrs. Gannush falls on top of her, more of her green insides go all over this girl's mouth. Well she gums her again, just gumming on that chin. I get it, I get it, though. I love to the tien't th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I thoes th. No that's the end of it that's the end of your life. Thank you so much I had a good run. Yes and thank you good night I don't want the assistant manager job after all. I will be the ass manager of the ocean. Yes. She pulls out more of her hair. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:40:27 And someone says you deserve everything that is coming to you. I think it's the granddaughter. Yeah. I don't know what's coming to her, but she deserves it. And then we learn about the Lamiya. Yes, from the fortune teller. OK. And that the lamea is going to to drag is going to drag to drag to drag is going to drag to drag to drag to drag to drag to drag to drag to drag to drag to drag to drag to drag to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the. the. the the. the the the. the. the. the. the. the. that. that. that. that. that. that. that. I. that. from the fortune teller. Okay. And that the Lemia is going to drag her to hell in like two days. Right.
Starting point is 00:40:47 All she has to do is give away the button though. And I thought, like, give it to someone who sucks, like your boyfriend. Well, first she told she has to do the blood offering. Right. And this is what gets her to go home and kills the cat that she she she she she she she she she she she she she she she she she she she she she she she she she she she she she she she she she she she she she she she she she she she she she she she she she she she she that she that she that she that she that she loves she loves she loves she loves she loves she loves she loves she loves she loves she loves she loves she loves she loves she loves she loves she loves she loves she loves she loves she loves she loves she loves she loves she loves she loves she loves she loves she loves she that she that she that she that she loves. F. F. F. F. F. F. F. F. F. F. F. F. F. F. F. F. F. F. F. F. F. F. F. F. F. F. F. F. F. F. F. F. F. F. F. F. F. F. F. F. F. F. F. F. F. F. to. blood offerings out there, like, I don't know. It doesn't make a lick of sense. Why would you offer, I mean, if you're going to be a shitbird, go find a stray in the street, don't kill the fucking cat that you quote-unquote love? You did not, you never named it. I feel like if you don't name it, that's because you're going to sacrifice it. We keep a cat in the house and we've never named. You've never seen it. Basement cat?
Starting point is 00:41:27 We're for sacrifices. There's more creaking going on and I have the note this film would be solved with WD40. It sure would. It really would. So she's going home and the Lamya is running like wild all over the house. Yeah, there's like there's like there's like there's like there's like there's like there's like there's like the there's like their their their their their their their the and the Lemaya is running like wild all over the house. Yeah, there's like clove and hooves outside her door. They're stealing her cell phone battery. Oh yeah, yeah, windows are breaking.
Starting point is 00:41:54 She gets thrown around. Yeah. And Justin Lunk comes over while she's burying the fucking cat, which I appreciate it. But we do see the corpse of the cat having dirt thrown on it. Yeah. I'm like, oh, buddy. Get a pigeon. I have no qualms about sacrificing a pigeon. Why? They're kind of pests. They're kind of cool too, though. Yeah, but I'm gonna sacrifice one of them before I'm gonna sacrifice. Sure. Glen. tho. the thi. the th. th. th. th. th. the th. the th. the th. th. the the the th. the the the the th. the the the the the th. the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the tho. th. th. th. the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the th. Glenn, maybe not so much Enzo. Enzo, we named it, but he knows what he is. He knows what he is. He's the sacrificial cat. So he's coming to pick her up for dinner with his parents.
Starting point is 00:42:36 Yeah. And she looks so sexy for his mom and dad, which I felt was a weird choice. Yeah, when you meet someone's parents with the first time, it's not like I hope th th they they th th they th thi thi thi thi to push to push to push to push to push to push to push to push to push to push to pu to to pu. to to to to to to be to be to bea. to bea. to be to be to be to bea. to be to me. to me. to me. to me. to me. to me. to me. to me. to me. to me. to me. to me. to me. to be to me. to be to be. to be. to be. to me. to me. to me. to me. to me. to me. to me. to be. to be. to be. to be. to be. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to to. hope they want to fuck me. Right, you don't just push your tits to your chin. He also calls his dad's sir, which I've always found to be weird. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah, cold relationships with your children is often an odd choice. Yeah, it makes me happy that my kid just like runs over and farts on her dad and runs away, you know? Well, we all do. Oh, well, I mean, I certainly wouldn't have. That's how you get a whoopin'. No, I mean to Rob. Oh, oh my god, yeah, I do that to him for sure. Their cat's name is Heck, you buh. What do you think about that? I think it's dumb. And she brings them those like delicious looking cake and the mom's like, oh, is that a poor?? th th p p p p p p p p p p p p p p p? th. th. th. th. th. th. th that a that a that a that a that a that a that a that a that a that a that a that a that a that a that that that's that's that's that that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's th. That's thi wo that? that that that that that that. I that that. I that that. That's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's. And she brings them those like delicious looking cake and the mom's like,
Starting point is 00:43:25 ooh, is that a poor person's cake? Yeah, she only needs a rich, rich people cake because she's an uppity bitch. They have a servant. Yeah. That's funny. I don't think people do that. You don't think people have people to bring them food? You don't roll in the same circles I do.
Starting point is 00:43:46 You're millionaire circles. Um, like, here's the question for Christine. Yeah. Do you want to spend every holiday with this family? No, you do not. Do you want to like have a child have to grow up with this? No, you do not. And you obviously don't have the mental mental mental to convince Justin long to leave his family.
Starting point is 00:44:06 Or just, yeah, just that it's, yeah, exactly. You don't need their approval or whatever. Yeah. She sucks. Uh, so like, mom's like, uh, mom's like, uh, mom's like, uh, mom's an alcoholic. So like, uh, mom's like, uh, to her mother much. Yeah. And she's like, well, my mom's an alcoholic. And she's like, oh, we do not tolerate alcoholics. What?
Starting point is 00:44:28 I love you now. Yeah, she's winning them over by shitting on her own family of origin. So I guess that works. And then I have a note that says hell yeah. Turkey Hill ice cream in one scene. And then she's eating a the the the the the the thu thu thu thu thu thu thu thu thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi, thi, thi, thi, to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to tolark-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a to toola toola toola toola toola toa toa toa toa toa toa toa toa toa toa toa toa toa toa tola tola tola tola tola tola-s. tola-s. toler-sa-sa-sa-sa-sa-sa-sa-sa-sa-sa-sa-sa-sa-s. tol Because she's eating Turkey Hill ice cream in one scene. And then she's eating a Clark bar in another scene, which is also a Pennsylvania original. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:44:52 Where's Sam Remy from? Not Pennsylvania. I don't think. I wish they were eating peanut cheese. Wow, he's only 64. He looks so much tired than that. Same. Yeah, fair enough. So the cake is served and Christine starts hearing things so the blood offering did not work. Right. And then she sees the old lady's eyeball in her cake.
Starting point is 00:45:17 Mm-hmm. So she stabs her cake with her fork and blood and pus come out of it. Just chill, dude. Excuse yourself to the restroom. And then she chokes and spits out out out out out out out out out out out out out out out out out out out out out out out out out out out out out out out out out out out out out out out out out out out out out out out out out out out out out out out out out out out out out out out out out out out out out out out out out out yourself to the restroom. And then she chokes and spits out a fly. Yeah. She freaks out and goes to see the psychic again and yells, I killed that little kitty! Which is supposed to make us feel something. And he's like, look I know a woman can do it. She's not cheap. You're gonna need 10 grand. 10 grand. By t You're gonna need 10 grand. By tomorrow. And she just packs up her flute into a trunk.
Starting point is 00:45:54 She's gonna go sell all their stuff and she makes $3,800. Right. And I was like, yeah, I feel that. Yeah. For sure, having nothing of value. Yeah. So I have, she pawns her money and then the next zone is Gannouche fists her mouth? Yeah, there's like a jump scare where I think she's in like her garage or something because she has a detached garage at this home. Because she's so poor. And it's full of stuff too that she could potentially sell. Maybe't know maybe we maybe we're just Pittsburghers you know me we just don't
Starting point is 00:46:27 understand what it is and there's like a bad jump scare of Mrs. Gannouche being there with her and then she just puts her whole ass arm into her oh that's right and then she drops the anvil on her head like a bug's bunny cartoon why was there an anvil hanging from a rope in her garage? You don't have one of those? You don't have a ro- I don't have an anvil because I don't do much smithing. Well, you're getting up in here. She might want to pick up a new hobby like smithing. It's true. I mean maybe we sold her short. Maybe she's a blacksmith an envelope up to the ceiling. Who tied the rope? Who did this? Who did this? But yes, she smushes her with an an anvil. Yeah, which is just her eyes pop out all over her face though, which I liked. Yeah, yeah, it's a good time. I mean the effects are great. There's just not enough of them on some level. I actually don't think they're, I mean maybe for 2008, 2009, they're great, but I just didn't really enjoy this, them at all. Okay, okay. I mean there's like
Starting point is 00:47:29 bits where you're like, huh, that's pretty good. Yeah. And that's it, that's as far as I got. So when she finds out she's only eating $800 and she gets the tub of Turkey hill and she said they're they're they're they're they're they're they're they're they're they're eating they're eating they're eating they're eating they're eating they're eating they're eating they're eating they're eating they're eating they're eating they're eating they're eating they're eating they're eating they're eating they're eating they're eating they're eating they're eating they're eating they're eating they're eating they're eating they're eating they're eating they're eating they're eating they're eating they're eating they're eating they're eating they're eating they're eating they're eating they're eating they're eating they're eating they're eating they're eating they're eating they're eating they're eating they're eating they're eating they're eating they're eating they're eating they're eating they're eating they're eating they're eating they're eating that's supposed to be like she's reverting to be a fat girl, right? Yes, because what's his face comes in and says, uh, I thought you were lactose intolerant. Yeah. And she was like, I am, but I'm eating it anyway. Which means she's either gonna poop and fart a whole bunch, or she was lying about being lactose intolerant so she wouldn't have to eat ice cream. Yeah, either of which I don't like. Yeah, but I do like, I'm like, fuck it, I'm gonna shit myself, I'm so sad.
Starting point is 00:48:10 Yeah. And so he reveals that he has paid the $10,000. He has. Why would he suddenly have a character arc? We're in act three, right? I promised myself when I fell in love that I would take care of you. Yes, and she's like, you remember the night you fell in love with me? And he's like, I remember the moment. And then it fades to black.
Starting point is 00:48:35 And I thought, what? Like, it's a TV movie? So she's, he drives her to her own exorcism, or whatever. And she's wearing like a business dress and tietietietietietietietieties ties ties ties ties to toe toe toe toe toe to her to her own exorcism or whatever. Yeah. And she's wearing like a business dress and tights and heels like if I'm going to my own exorcism you better believe I'm wearing like joggers or at the very least leggings. Okay. I want to be comfortable for my exorcism. Well, I mean, she's looking at it as a business transaction. I guess so she did pay a lot of money for it. And. And also he, she, he drops her off in the driveway and then you see him just back out and drive away like where, he's not gonna wait? Like is he just gonna go do some mini-putt or like? Just go park on the street.
Starting point is 00:49:11 Like, what are you doing? But anyway, it's the OG lady. But anyway, it's the OGee lady, who I think it's th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to tho, tho, tho, thoooooooooooooooooooooo, the thoooooooooooooo, too, too, too, too, too, too Yes, with his fantastic mustache. Yeah, yeah. I know you like a mustache. I do like a mustache. I think it's a weird thing that's happening to me in middle age. Lately, I've just been like looking at Rob and putting my hand up to like block the beard, you know? Oh man, he would give real cop vibes. Strong cop vibes. Yeah, I know. Where I just go into like pure Wilfred Brimley mode. You just get strong cop.
Starting point is 00:49:46 Yeah, strong cop vibes. I'm just sliding bowls of oatmeal over to you. Being like you gotta take care of your insides. Yeah, watch out for the diabetes. Yeah. So the lady is going to force the Lamiya into the goat. I was like, ah, the Pope's exorcist, you stole this! Then Milos is going to chop the goat's head off. And then Milos rules. Yeah. Well,
Starting point is 00:50:12 technically, this is a bit like Bible thing with the funny the demons over the pigs and... I know. And we see there's a bunch of spirits in the house who are like, hey, did you come here for me? Were you looking for me? Yes. And Romjus also speaks Spanish so that he can translate, which I was like, he's really the best person in this movie. Where's his movie? Also, like, the goat is being dragged in. He like does not want to be there, but then they just set the the goat up up up up up up up up up up up up up up up up up up the goat the goat the goat the goat to to to to to to be to be to be to be to be to be to be to be to be to be to be to be to be to be to be to be to be to be to be to be to be to be to be to be to be to be to be to be to be to be to be to be to be to be to be to be to to to to to to to be to be to be to be to be to be to be to be to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to tran., tra. tra. tra. tra. tra. tra. to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to's smiling. He like looks happy to be there. I'm just glad to be involved. Yeah, I love goats. They're so cute.
Starting point is 00:50:49 They're weird eyes. They're weird rectangular pupils. Yeah, creeps. So the lady becomes possessed. Oh yeah, and yes, and there's like bad CGI on these ghosts too. Like, there's this black and white lady who comes in. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. that, that, that, that, th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. that, that, that's, that's, that's, tho. that looks. that looks, that's, that's, tho. tho. tho. th. th. tho. Yeah, th. Yeah, th. Yeah, th. Yeah, th. Yeah, th. Yeah, th. Yeah, th. Yeah, th. Yeah, th. Yeah, th. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. tho. th. th. th. th. th. CGI on these ghosts too. Like there's this black and white lady who comes in and you're just like, that looks like trash. I'm sure the makeup for 13th ghosts was still laying around somewhere. Just put some of the guy with the cage in his head and the naked lady.
Starting point is 00:51:16 I loved those. Yeah, I feel like in retrospect I sold that movie short and I should go back and re-watch. Should it it. Should it. Should it. Should it. Should it. Should the return the return the return. Should it. Should it. Should it. And Matthew Lillard. Oh my god, yeah. All right, maybe I'll go back. At some point we're just going to redo our entire catalog. I mean, we're going to have to. Watch out without warning. We're coming for you. I'm not watching that again.
Starting point is 00:51:49 Fucking McDonald land characters throwing alien spaceships around. I can't do it. Why did we do that for the second episode? Yeah, man, I don't know. Weird. So this feels very evil dead when this woman is possessed. Absolutely. She's got cool teeth. Yeah, and there's like chattering and evil dead shit happening. And I even know if this is he's dancing? Who was dancing?
Starting point is 00:52:18 I don't remember who was dancing. Oh, um, Melos, he does like a marionette dance because he gets possessed. Oh, that's right, that's right. Because he misses with the axe when he goes to kill the goat, yeah. Now he's the bad guy. And then he pukes her dead cat. Yes, he does. Which was a bummer.
Starting point is 00:52:36 Yeah. And he says dirty pork queen. It's like everyone in this movie has to barfunf on to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to the to to to to to the to to to to to the to to to the to to the to to to to to to to to to the to the the the the to to to to to to to to to to be to be to be to be to be the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the tho. tho. tho. tooooo. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. too. too. too. the the the the the this movie has to barf on Christine at least once. Yeah. It did her contract. Yeah. I need to be put on. Uh, so Sean Sandina, which is like it's the old lady's name, or the medium's name. If you say. She dies. Yeah, yeah, 10K for that.
Starting point is 00:53:03 She'll like, why don't you even bother making the charge, you know? Do we get a refund? Yeah. And then they close her eyes, which I know you love it when people close the eyes of the dead. Yeah. And so Christine walks out, because she's the dumbest person on the planet. Dubbed a bag of stints. She's like, wow.
Starting point is 00:53:18 She defeated it on the last day day her life. What a coincidence. Like, no, you fucking idiot. It killed her, you fucking moron. Did you really not see the correlation there? Correlation is not causality, can you? No, you're right. And Romdoss is like, nope. He's like, you know what, I'm not into you anymore. I thought this could happen, but uh, you're dumb as a bag of hammers. I gotta go. Just a wet hair.
Starting point is 00:53:49 So she has to, he figures out that she has to gift the button. Why didn't he figure that out from the beginning? I did. And I'm not good at this stuff. And also, like, my dude, don't put your DNA on that envelope. He's all licking it. So she has to give the button to somebody else and it has to be accepted as a gift. Who? Who would you choose if you had to give a gift to someone for them to burn in hell for all eternity? I would hope that I would not try to kick an old woman out of her house just to avoid
Starting point is 00:54:18 having to make this decision. Fair, but let's say you did. Okay. Damning someone's soul to all eternity? Yeah. That's... I pick Wendy Bell. My buddy from when I saw her at Trader Joe's? I would have walked up to her with that goddamn button. Oh, she was at the Trader Joe's.
Starting point is 00:54:40 I feel like she shouldn't be allowed a Trader Joe's. Wendy Bell, for those of you, for those of you who aren't in Pittsburgh which is almost all of you is a former local TV personality who turned out to be like a right-wing nut job. She wants to be a lady Tucker Carlson. Yes so I would and I think I know where she lives so I think would just go over to her house and give it to her. Tucker Carlson. Tucker Carl but you have you have to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to the to the to to the to the to to the to the to to the to to the to to the to to to to tr tr tr tr tr tr tr tr. tr. tr. tr. tr. tre. tre. tre. tre. tre. tre. tre. tre. tre. tre. tre. tre. trade-s. trade-s. trade-s. trade-s. trade-s. trade-s. tre. get an anywhere money to get it. I don't think you're a proud boy. I have to make the most choice sartorial decisions to not look like one of those assholes. It's true. I feel like they've really fucked up big beards for all of us who were into big beards. Because now it's like is he a cool guy or is he a Nazi? Yeah. It does sucks. Yeah. It does sucks. And I'm I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I'm not. I'm not. I'm not. I'm not. I'm not. I'm not. I'm not. I'm not. I'm not. I'm not. I'm not. I'm not. I'm not. I'm not. I'm not. I'm not. I'm. I'm. I'm. I'm. I'm. I'm. I'm. I'm. I'm. I'm. I'm. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I'm not. I'm not. I'm not. I'm not. I'm not. I'm not. I'm not. I'm not. I'm not. I'm not. I'm not. I'm not. I'm not. I'm not. I'm not. I'm th. I'm th. I'm th. I'm th. I'm th. I'm. I'm not. I'm not giving this thing up. I look like shit without it. I mean, I don't think, I know, why should you change your name? He's the one who sucks, a la Michael Bolton.
Starting point is 00:55:48 Yeah, I just referenced office space here on our. Okay. You're a cool dude with a cool tude. So yeah, she's got to give away the button. Yeah. So she called Stu. to give the button the button the button. the button. thu, thu, thu, thu, too, too, too, too, too, too, too, too, too, too, too, too, to too, to to to to to too, too, tho, tho, tho, tho-I tho-I tho-I tho-I tho-I tho-I th. Yeah, th. Yeah, th. Yeah, th. Yeah, th. Yeah, to to to th. Yeah, to to th. Yeah, to th. Yeah, th. Yeah, th. Yeah, th. Yeah, th. Yeah, th. Yeah, th. Yeah, th. Yeah, th. Yeah, th. Yeah, th. Yeah, thi. Yeah, thi. Yeah, tha. Yeah, tha' to to to to tha'a'a'a'a'a'a'a'a'a'a' thi thi thi. thi. to give away the button. Yeah, mm-hmm. So she called stew, her work nemesis. Right. She's going to give the button to stew. Wait, first she and Justin Long are in the car. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:56:11 And he almost hits an old man. Uh-huh. Who starts yelling at him? And they're like, oh my god, say you're going to help. Yes. And these two just have no chemistry. She and Justin Long. No. No. No. It's just two empty cans banging off each other. Yeah. But she drops all of her papers including an envelope. Yeah. And then she finds the envelope. Yeah. Just left her papers all over his car. Okay. So she's going to give the button to stew. Yeah. She calls stew in to the diner. Yeah. And he's like, I'm so sorry though for what I did. I was such a sure. Oh, because he took the McPherson file. Yeah, and took it doesn't make any, it's not a great career move for him either
Starting point is 00:57:08 way. Very stupid. Very stupid. Can't spell stupid without stew. It's true. Yep. So, she can't do it because. She can't do it because he's remorse. Right, she sure does. And we saw what that lady was confident of that. That's gross.
Starting point is 00:57:26 It was gross. And it has her face on it when it's attacking her. And it looks shitty. It just looks shitty. It does. It does. Yeah. So what's her next choice?
Starting point is 00:57:35 What's she going to do here? How is she going to do this? What's her move? Sylvia Gannouche. She's gonna dig her up. I do not believe that this woman can dig a grave. No, I don't think I could either. No, no, I put in some pavers last summer and just to dig out the area for those, yeah, my back hurt, my hands hurt. I would give up and just go give it to stew. Go back to him. So she digs up Gannush's grave. Yeah. Opens this cask. It's pouring down rain.
Starting point is 00:58:07 Oh, it's storming. Because it rains a lot in LA, right? Yeah, very stormy area. They flood a lot, don't they? So it's, it's filling up the grave that she's just dug. Yeah. And she grabs Gannush's hand, she's like, I give you this thing. This is a present for you. You old lady, I beat you bitch. Yep. Which she also pulls out more of her hair in the scene. More for fucking hair. Yeah. And the grave marker, the headstone falls onto her and it's her in the head and knocks her out.
Starting point is 00:58:38 Yeah, it's great. And then she gets out and like, when that hole's filling up, I was just like, yeah, just wait. Just wait, yeah, you'll be able to climb out like it's a swimming pool. Dumb, dummy. So she does get out. She emerges from the grave mud water. And the sun's coming up. Yeah. And she's like, yeah. I've won. I've won. I'm going to go home and to the train station where she's meeting Justin Long at 730 in the morning,
Starting point is 00:59:05 which seems very early. And she gets a call that she's got the job. Yes, because Stu confessed to having stolen the McPherson file. After he tried to pin it on her for us. Right. You know what? I love that Stu was still looking out for Stu. God bless me. He says in that conversation. conversation he's like, what if my dad finds out? Like dude you're 40. What?
Starting point is 00:59:26 So this is our protagonist that we are supposed to think is a good person. Yeah. She's in the train station. And there's a woman setting up a display window. Yes, in a clothing store. In the in the trans station. And she's like, hey, I want to buy that coat. And she's like, hey, I want to buy that coat. And that coat. And that coat. And that coat. And that coat, and that, and that, and the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the th. And, and th. And, and th. And, that. And, threat. And, that's, that, that's, that. And, th. And, that. And, that. And, that. And, that. And, that, that. And, th. And, th. And, th. And, th. And, th. And, th. And, th. And, th. And, th. And, th. And, th. And, th. And, th. And, th. And, th. And, th. And th. And th. And, th. And, th. And, that's, that's, that's, th. And, th. And, th. And th. And th. And th. And th. And th. And th. And th. And th. And th. I'm sorry we're not open. She's like, but I really want the coat. I want to buy that coat. Yeah, that's shitty. You're a monster, you're a Karen. That's what being a Karen is. Yes.
Starting point is 00:59:53 So she makes her open she buys the coat. She goes out and meets Justin Long on the new coat. You never stop believing in me, thank you for that. Shut up. He's got a ring for her, he's going to ask her to marry him. He, she tells him that she could have saved Mrs. Gannush's house and chose not to. And he's like, I still love you even though you're an asshole and a monster. I understand social climbing, of course I do. You piece of shit. Yeah. And he's like, hey by the way, I think you might you might you might th you might th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th thi thi thi thi thi thi the the the' the' thi thi. the' the' the tho tho thus. that that that that that that that that that that that that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the. theee. thee, hey, by the way, I think you might have my quarter, because here's your button. Then what happens?
Starting point is 01:00:31 And then she falls on the trade tracks. Yeah. And then a train's coming. Yeah. But she doesn't get hit by the train. No, she doesn't. Because she gets dragged to hell. He sees this, but no one else does. No. And he's he's he's he's he's he's he's s he's he's he's he's he's he's s he's he's he's he's he's he's he's s s s s s s s s s s s s s s s s s' is s' is he's he's he's he's he's he's th. thi. thi. he's he's thi. hea. hea. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. the. to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to theee. the. the. the. the. th't get to her because the train's passing over she's being drug to hell Well, she shouldn't have been such a bitch The moral of this movie don't be such a bitch. Just don't be a piece of shit. Don't be a bit. Is that too much to ask for anybody? And I don't know if he was setting out to make a movie where no one was good It maybe seems that way. Yeah, yeah, yeah, I don't. Yeah, I that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's too too too to to to to to to that that that that that that to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to th? th? th? I mean it's not a good thing that's when you take your kid back and have them give, you know what I mean? I don't know. I don't get the morality of this movie is. It's a little loose-k kiss. It's a movie. It's a movie. It's a movie. It's the movie. It's th, it's th, it's th, it's th, it's th, it's th, I, I, I, I, I, I's, I's, I's, I's, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I's, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm th, I'm t t t t t tote, t totally, t totally, t totally, t t totally, t totally, totally, totally, the, the, the, the, the morality of this movie is. It's a little loose-coose. It's a whole movie to get an old lady's mouth over someone's chin.
Starting point is 01:01:27 Yeah, totally. Katie. Alan. What is your rating of Drag Meita Hill? Drag B to 5. 5. Wow. Yeah, it's real middle of the road for me. Higher than I want to thought. Yeah. I mean, the rating is trash. We all know. I honestly didn't even really think about it. I just said five. Yeah, I'm gonna give it a strong four. Great. Yeah, I thought,
Starting point is 01:01:52 like, I was not impressed with this movie, the first time I saw it, and again, not impressed by it. And people really like it. Like, this movie has, I think, a 92% on hot tomatoes. I just don't see it. I can see being 12 at a sleepover seeing this movie and it would hit just right. Yeah. Because you're not thinking about it. You're not thinking you don't want. You make one little mistake and then everything is, no, you didn't make one little mistake. acted like a dumb bitch. You're a piece of shit. You're acting like a piece of shit. Yeah. Katie. Katie. Wait, Bonnie Arons is in this movie. She's second build. What the hell is going on here? I told you. Yeah. But I couldn't find out what
Starting point is 01:02:30 character. She says, it says, mother at death. Oh, maybe she's at the funeral. Maybe she's one of the Roma. Yeah. Whatever. She's only second build on the Google search. Yeah, yeah, yeah, I didn't mean in the movie. That's why I thought the movie was lying to me. Yeah, it might be. Who can say? Can I read you an email we got? Sure. You guys are so funny.
Starting point is 01:02:54 Oh, thank you all. For talking shit on me undies and then immediately doing an ad for the the the the the the the the the their their their their their their their their. Yeah, we're hypocrites. I was cackling. I forgot we did that. We didn't know we were doing me undies copy because we recorded that the day after we recorded our episode. That was a little awkward, yeah. I can't even think about it, because whatever I say in this episode will immediately be gone from my brain. Oh yeah, when I walk out of this attic, none of this hapah.
Starting point is 01:03:23 We just hanged. Who th. I. I. this happened. We just hung. We just hung. Who's this big sandal looking guy behind me? No, that's not what I mean. They've also been going through some stuff and we helped them by being funny through what they've been going through. Oh, I'm sorry you're going through some stuff and I hope that you're finding a way through it. And they say hope you all are well, Malka. Malka. Malk. Anda! I hope you're okay, I know, Malka. Yeah. Yeah, we had drinks together in Minnesota. You did. And the same age as Malka's mom, by the way.
Starting point is 01:03:53 Oh my god. Yeah. So I'm Malka's grandfather. Right, because you're my dad. I'm my own grandfather. That's right. Malka, we hope that everything is okay. Malka, thinking of you. And we are glad that these two dumb-dums being, fucking making dildo jokes was enough to help in some way.
Starting point is 01:04:16 I mean, we don't, why else would we do this? Right, we're just doing it to help people. I know, this is just really all for, for you. It's not because we love the sound of her own voices. It's 100% because I love the sound of my own voice. I really do. We cannot shut up. No, Malka, you're the best. I hope you're doing well. Yes. And thank you for writing in and Ramic of us or hypocris. See, we're social climbers when it comes to podcasting, though, aren't we? We're like, glomming those coattails. Oh yeah.
Starting point is 01:04:46 Oh yeah, I'll kick it old lady out of her house to get on another game episode. Fantastic. Katie. Alan. the sound of her own voices. Shhh. Should we keep doing this? Should we keep doing this?
Starting point is 01:05:05 We're just talk and talk and talk and talk and talk and talk and talk and talk. No. No. No. Do you remember what movie I suggest we do next week? Oh yes, it's a new movie that everyone's talking about. knew that it had something to do with the devil. Yeah, yeah. And I knew that it also had a lot of words. And it's a fun throwback 70s movie for anyone who watched Carson as a kid. You'll enjoy it. I'm sorry, I fell asleep while you said that. It's a, I think it's going to be a good time. I think it's going to be a good episode for us. Great. There's demonic possessions and all sorts of fun stuff in it. So looking forward to it. Yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:05:48 Okay. And that's on Shutter. Yeah. And I think it's available other places as well. We got to coordinate our watching of it. Yes. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. And. Got to have custody. to have custody nights with a shutter. the t. t. t. t. t. t. t. t. to. to to t. t. to t. to t. to to to t. t. to to the t. the. to to to to to to to to to to be. to to the the to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the tue. the. the. the the. the. the. the the. the. the the the the the the the the the the thea. the to. to. to. to. the shutter. Ah, man, I'm gonna get some shit for this, aren't I? You never get the shit.
Starting point is 01:06:20 It's always me who gets the shit. I said enter the dragon was boring and I didn't get any shit. That's insane. If I had said that, people would be like, this stupid pitch.
