Starting point is 00:00:00 Alan, Katie, can I get a breaking news update? Did it, did it, did it, did a breaking news update? Three important things. Thiya! Tom's Avini got a breaking news update? Three important things. Go! Tom Savini got groceries delivered today. The Bloomfield pool is open, and I'm off work tom things. Go. Tom Savinie got groceries delivered today. The Bloomfield pool is open and I'm off work tomorrow.
Starting point is 00:00:29 So I'm betting he's gonna be there. Oh, do you think he got some like fruit roll-ups to go eat by the pool? He, well, he had a bunch of Whole Foods bags on his steps this morning. Oh, so high-end fruit roll ups. So Savini watched 2K24, it's on. It's on like, Dunk. I'm so glad the Bloomfield Pool is open. It wasn't open last year, if I'm correct. No, that lining cracked. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Deep uncracked, something cracked.
Starting point is 00:00:50 My pool had a landslide last year. Yeah. We're doing really well here in Pittsburgh. Poolemageddn' tho'n' tho'n, Hoi Poloy. Yeah, with the regulars? Wait, no, I'm the regulars. Uh, what are we doing this week? We're doing a movie that was our guest's choice? It was? Who's our guest, Katie? We got a real life Australian.
Starting point is 00:01:14 Holy shit. Our friend Pye is here. It's me. Hi, Pye. Thanks for joining us. . .. P.aa.a.a.a.a.a. th................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................ Thanks for having me. Hi, are you here to seek revenge for us making fun of the way that Australians have said the word no for the past 10 years?
Starting point is 00:01:28 No, we. No, yeah, nah. We don't really give a shit about much. Clearly. I was thinking about it while watching this movie, and I realize that Australians are what Americans think they are. It's all true. Y'all are like fresh how to give a fucks and just ready to throw down at a moment's notice.
Starting point is 00:01:49 That's right, 100% time. And we're like, we want an insurrection and tyranny. And Australia's like, fuck you. Yeah, Australia's like, got a ciggy. Don't care. So what are we doing, Pie? What did you choose and why? I chose Wormwood and I chose Wormwood because the only scene I could remember from this movie was a group of Boise's grabbing beers out of a first aid kit.
Starting point is 00:02:17 That was the only thing I could remember and I knew it was an Ozzy movie and I knew it was zombie and don't regret it. Great. I knew it was an Ozzy movie and I knew it was zombie and don't regret it. Great. Yeah. I love that the one character is wearing an Ozzy, Ozzy, Ozzy, Ooy, Ooy, Oshare. Yeah, I feel like it's a very Australian thing to open your movie with someone going, come on your fucking zombies!
Starting point is 00:02:37 Yes, it was so, that's my asterisk. That was terrible. I spent a lot thia thia to you and I'm not getting any better. Okay, repeat after me. Come on, you fucking Aussies! Come on, you fucking Aussies! Come on, you fucking Aussies! There you go. Bob's your uncle. Come on, you fucking Aziz. Come on your fucking Aziz. We are recording in the recording Annex, which is my living room because it's got the best air conditioning. The hotter it gets here, the further Alan moves us
Starting point is 00:03:07 towards the basement. Yeah, I can't worry till we record in the Pittsburgh to toilet. Oh, I'll sit on that toilet but hold up, so I'm gonna shit. So we have a special, special guest of Ruby told. So yes, this movie tha, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, this th, th, th, th, th, thi, thi, this movie, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thus, thus, th, thus, thi, the the thus, thus, the the the fu, the fu, the fu, the fu, the fu, the fu, the fu, the fa, the further, the fa, the fa, the fa, the fa, the fa, the f, the f, the fa, the fa, the fa, the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the thi, thi, to, tooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo-s, to-s, to-s, to-a, t a Ruby fart, it's Ruby. Yeah, if we all go, oh! She's old. So yes, this movie opens on. Come on, you fucking zombies. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:03:31 And it's on. It's on like Donkey Kong from the gate. We see these guys in like metal armor looks, which I liked a lot. Fighting zombies who look fantastic. I was so happy I forgot this movie because the opening scene was like so 100% immediately. I feel like I was like, to the back of my couch.
Starting point is 00:03:53 Like, whoa, okay, we're here. Watching the trailer for this movie, I was like, oh, this is a comedy. Yeah. And then watching the movie, like, this isn't a comedy. No, it's it's billed as a comedy in a few places too. It is not a comedy. It's not. It's not. It's whiplashed a comedy. Yeah. It's very, it feels very like Peter Jackson inspired on some level. Like I know that's New Zealand, not Australia, but like... You should see the pie just like wound up to punch Alan in the face. I. I. I. I. they. they. to. to. to. to. the they. they. they. they. to. the to. the the to. the to. the to to th. to to to th. to to to to be. to be. to be. to bea. to bea. to be like, to be like, to be like, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's. to be. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. It. It. It. It. It. It. It. It. It. It. It. It. It. It. It. It. It. It. It. It. It's. It's. It's. I. It's. I. I. It's. It's. It's. It's. It's, t. I. It's like, t. It's like, t. It's like, t. I. It's like, t. It's like, like, the the t. I. I. It's like, the the the the pie just like wound up to punch Alan in the face. I wish you guys were here to see it for bismarching her nationality. Did you call me a, did you call me a Kiwi? Again, we don't really care about much.
Starting point is 00:04:33 Yeah. It's not even offended. But yeah, it's got a very, like, it's very gory, but like, it's way more serious than I thought I was going to be. Is this really a mashup of two movies we've done recently, which was Madmex Fury Road, and Zombiland. Oh, Zombi land. Oh, zombie. A little less incel than zombie. We are introduced to Benny.
Starting point is 00:04:57 We are introduced to Benny, who is out pig hunting? And I wondered, Pye, have you ever been pig hunting? I have not been pig hunting. I just wondered. Maybe? Have you ever been pig hunting? I feel like that's also a thing I can ask you. Yeah, you totally. Yeah, no. We don't have wild pigs here.
Starting point is 00:05:13 That you know of. ACAB. ACAB. A. A. C.A.Bthe ACAB too far? ACAB once up too far. So yeah, this Benny is out pink hunting with his brothers. And they're having a beautiful evening out in the bush, I assume, when we call this the bush?
Starting point is 00:05:39 Yeah, they come bush. Yeah, they're in bush. In bush, not the bush, just bush. Yeah, bush. They're in Bush. In Bush. Not the Bush. Yeah, Bush. Okay. I feel like we're going to learn so. I think we're going to get some culture. You are our first international guest.
Starting point is 00:05:51 Oh, God. It's true. I can't think of any. I mean, we've had a few folks in New Jersey. Yeah. Hi Eli. Hi. Justin. Jason McKitrick. Jason McKitrick. Wonder how that guy's doing? There are shooting stars everywhere.
Starting point is 00:06:10 Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm. I was so captivated by what he was going to say. I was so captivated by what he was going to say, which then the whole rest of the movie he caught me of God because it was like the whole time like so intrigued by what he was going to say which then the whole rest of the movie caught me of God because it was like the only moment calm in the entire movie yeah yeah it was like maybe the only time I took a breath the entire movie when it's during this dialogue it's beautiful but it's definitely like you could
Starting point is 00:06:39 tell it's building up to sadness. It's not going to be a good story at the end of it. And also I was like, oh, well we've got our movie title there. The shooting star, Wormwood from Revelation. Yeah. So there you go. Spelled in the traditional way. Yeah, yeah. The old school way. When he wakes up, he finds one of his brother. He kills him. Shots his knee-up the the the the the the the tapapapapapapapapapapapapapapapapapapapapap tapapap t. tap t. tap tap t. tap t. tap t. tap tap tap tap tip tip tip tie the the tip. tie the the the the the the tie the tie tie th. Yeah, tie tie tie tie th. th. the th. the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the tie. tie. tie tie tie tie tie tie tie tie tie ti ti. ti. ti. ti. ti. ti. ti. ti. ti. ti. ti. ti. ti. ti. ti. ti is a zombie. So what's he do to his zombie brother?
Starting point is 00:07:07 He kills him. He shoots his kneecap off. He shoots his kneecap, yeah. I don't know why you'd go for the kneecap. Well, my theory is because you don't want to kill your brother outright. Yeah. He just want to mobilize them. Eventually you want to stop them coming at you in the really fast way that they are. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:07:25 They are fast movers. I really liked that mechanic of this movie of, sometimes they rhyme quick, sometimes they're I'm slow. Sometimes they were fast soundies. Yeah, yeah. I loved that. It was very creative. They're fuel levels.
Starting point is 00:07:42 Yeah. I like that would be a good... Petrel. Petrel. Yeah, I like one later in the movie, Frank says, should we make a petrol stop? Meaning to get like another zombie? Petrel.
Starting point is 00:07:53 Metho, Caro. Petro. Methylated spirits, kero. Oh, not methamphetamine. Not this time. I've been a few Australian so I thought maybe. Every time I hear petrol I think of the story from World War II where Germans were trying to invade an American camp pretending to be Americans and they came in and they were like, hi we're a fellow Americans and we would like to get
Starting point is 00:08:22 some petrol for our Jeep and the Americans were like, sure, hold one one second, let me go get my gun so I can kill you real quick. Sprung, ding dogs. Yeah. Yeah. Because we call it gas because we're idiots. Yeah, well, that's what we are. What is it in, Mad Max Guzzoline? Oh, thi. thah, th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. th. th. th. th. thi. thi. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. So, th. So, th. So, th. So, th. So, th. So, th. So, th. So, th. So, th. So, th. So, th. So, th. So, th. So, thi. So, thi. So, thi. thi. thi. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. t tog. t tog. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. th., don't talk to me about that movie. That's so, so, so, so, so bad. What are you talking about?
Starting point is 00:08:47 It's fucking amazing. Uh, it's so much better in this movie. Uh, thrown. So, yeah, he has to kill his brother. So, who is he recounting the story or whatever and Barry's just like this morning I shot my wife and child with a nail gun I can't think about how to make that into a story. Pretty brutal. Pretty brutal. I was convinced he said I shot my wife and my son. Oh he says child. Okay say child. Say child in Australian? Child. It's a bit like son.
Starting point is 00:09:25 What word do you use for child in Australia? What do you say child in Australian? Tell you what though, Barry's hot, Barry's hot, Barry, Barry, Barry's very hot and the like montage gearing up scene. I'm like, whoa. Wait, we've moved into a whole other movie genre. We've gone goh, we've gone comedy. Now where are we? It's a pretty hot scene. I will. I think Gary's, or Barry's busted teeth definitely help him too, like a little janky jaw. I like that. Doesn't do anybody any harm.
Starting point is 00:09:59 Yeah. Also his sister is very attractive. Yeah. Just a beautiful beautiful jeans and that family. Good for them. Well, good for them. Bully for you, Barry and his sister. He's also my hero in that beginning scene. I'm like watching him be so heroic and like jump over the hood of the car, like so good. love the action sequences and I know me too. I what I don't love? Yeah, what I don't love? Yeah, I don't teller sex not for me. Got to have two shower heads. That's what you've told me in me. It's about the friction I'd say. Yeah, yeah, it's if there's some issues with it. I mean, I understand I understand I understand I understand I understand I understand I understand I understand I understand I understand I understand I understand I understand I understand I, I understand cuddling and all that stuff, but just like every time the shower sex and moving, I was like, come on, just go somewhere else.
Starting point is 00:10:46 Just go about your business. Try off. Just good old, good old, old, good old fudge of dry sex, like everyone should have all the time. Like us Americans. Co-sign Ben Shapiro. We cut to Barry's sister. This is Brooke.
Starting point is 00:11:05 She's having like a Welcome to My World studio scene? I don't know what's happening here. Like where is D. Snyder while all this is going on? There's like a woman in Day of the Dead makeup pretending to be a zombie chained up? I look, I'm looking to you to explain this to us. I actually don't remember the pot you guys are talking about. You know, she has the model that she's like photographing? Oh yeah. She's doing the makeup on him, there's the photographer who's doing the other, yeah, yeah, yeah. Right, right. Yeah. Because I, for the rest of all of her cool moves.
Starting point is 00:11:45 I do love when Barry's daughter is talking on his phone and his wife is like, get off the phone. I don't care if you're talking to Jesus. Yes. I don't care if you're talking to Jesus. I was like, I bet if I was a mom I'd say shit like that. Yeah. Yeah, I know. Feels good. The Barry's daughter felt like a glimpse into my future also. Hopefully until she like just up until she turns but definitely the whole scene with her like on the phone I was like, uh, my life. Every once a while I like to remind Katie that one day Lucy will be 16. No, why?
Starting point is 00:12:26 Why would you do that to my friend? Just don't share those things. Yeah, keep it to yourself. It's not true. No. It's really far off. Really far off. It's not.
Starting point is 00:12:41 Fuck. So the model is like pretending to be a zombie and growling and then she starts legit growling and then she spits blood in the photographer's face. Oh, I remember. Oh yeah, I remember. That's right. She's like chained to the ceiling. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:12:55 Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Sort of working blood on to this other woman who is now a zombie. Yeah. That was weird shit. And then she kills the photographer. And then the photographer becomes a zombie. Yeah, as you do. And the makeup artist, Brooke is also an acrobat.
Starting point is 00:13:13 She's doing some sweet acrobatics. Really cool flip. You just have all these notes. Oh, she's really badass. Yes. It's pretty much all I wrote too. I wrote on my paper. Brooke can flip flip wearing a non-shirt. I know I also did write Brooke seems to be the only woman in the film and she's not wearing a lot. No most of it's her bra on. Yeah I mean what else do you want? She's got the bra on I was just curious you know she's the only one she's not wearing anything. No I don't know why they would to that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's the the the the the the th. th. th. th. the th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. the the the the their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their that's that's that's that's their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their. their their. their. their to to true. true. to to to to to to their their their their b. their their their their their their their their know she's the only one she's not wearing anything I don't know why they would do that in a movie not to diverge
Starting point is 00:13:48 right away but as you know I am a fan of the hot ones show on on the YouTube's yes Heidi Klum was the guest this week I love Heidi Kloon she's great she gets up to a certain point and she's like I'm so hot and just takes herself down to her bra. Yes, she does. And I was like, I said earlier that some lady had the best boobs in the business, I'm wrong. It's Heidi, fucking Clem. Holy shit.
Starting point is 00:14:14 Yeah. Real fit rig, real good rack. Poor kids. Yeah. They just tunne into zombies anyway. I was like, oh, she's a, she's a year older than I am. Oh shit. That's what I get into those things of like, I don't think I'm the same species as some of my fellow human beings. As a German supermodel? Yeah, I look at her like Catherine Zeta Jones, and I was like, we're different.
Starting point is 00:14:41 Yeah, we're different. We're just built different, right? We're not the same. Yeah. So yeah, she's being a badass and she's flipping around and hanging out in the rafters of the shed and being chased by the zombie who was chained up, which I liked a lot because it like, she couldn't get out yet the zombie couldn't get to her, so there was like some tension. She seemingly falls asleep with the zombie squawking from the ceiling, which I think I would have a hard time doing.
Starting point is 00:15:06 You can't just nap anyway. Not one of those for you all? Not one of those for me. Catch some zes in the rafter. Sorry. Well. opens the door and there's more zombies outside. Yeah. Hapes more. And this is being cut in with Barry and his family, where Megan, the daughter comes into the bedroom and says that, daddy, there's someone in the kitchen,
Starting point is 00:15:33 which is very spooky. Probably a thing you never want to hear. Yeah, no, I don't know what I would do. But again, he's immediately the hero. He is. You got to run at whatever it is. I'm a firm believer run at whatever if somebody's just randomly in my kitchen Nah, son. No, I feel like I'm not clever enough to do something quickly. I would just like run at it and then be dumb. Just bounce off of the person. You know, like, well if you were ding dong, you would literally have weapons all over your house. So that no matter what room you're in.
Starting point is 00:16:10 Why am I friends with people who hide weapons in their homes? There's a baseball bat by the front door? There's an axe by the basement door. It's more my child's toys that I'm visualizing as weapons. They're a bunch of jacks people. You know, common toys for kids in 2024. Jacks! Oh, probably loves jacks.
Starting point is 00:16:33 Yeah, she loves jack. I want to throw their hoop and stick at them. Cropaws. Big fan. I did like this zombie in the bath robe, just like eating, buddy. Yeah, it's it's. It's. It's. It's. It's. It's. It's. It's. It's. It's. It's. It's. It's. It's. It's. It's. It's. It's. It's. It's. It's. It's. It's. It's. It's. It's th. It's th. It's th. th. th. th. th. th. th. T, their their their. T. T. T. T. C. C. C. C. C. C. C. C. C. C. C. C. C. C. C. C. C. C. C. C. C. C. C. C. C. C. C. C. C. C. C. C. C. C. C. C. C. C. C. C. C. C. C. C. C. C. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. thea. th. th. the th. the the the thea. the. the. the. the. the in the bathrobe just like eating out of the fridge. What do you eat buddy? Yeah, it's very chill. I feel like that was a nod to like the dawn of the dead Romero zombies who were just like trying to go about their normal lives going on the mall and stuff.
Starting point is 00:16:55 And this is a zombie that's like, I just want to get up in the middle of night. Get the fucking axe. Imagine yelling that one in your house. Get the fucking act. Yeah, get it. So what's up with the smoke that comes out of these zombies? Who'd you like to feel that one? You want me to actually say it now? I'm not spoiling anything?
Starting point is 00:17:21 Yeah, go in. Okay. So, this is one of my favorite most creative parts of the movie because the gas, but as Benny says, oh it's farting from its mouth, is gas. It's like a gas that runs them and so at night they're really fast because they're using the gas themselves and then the daytime they're slow and the gas is coming out of their mouth. Yeah I thought this was a really interesting and neat and like I've never seen that before I know it's very wild. What? Like what? It is very what? But also like what how do they make the gas not work that was in the cars already? That was something to do with never explained? Never explained? that. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I I I I I I I I I I I th. Yeah. I th. I th this. I this. I this. I this. I this. I this. I this this this this this this this is this is this is this is this this this this this this this this this this this this this this this this this this this this this this this this this this this this this this this this this this this this this this this this this this this this. I I I I I I I I I I this. I this. I this. I this is this is this is this is th th th th th th th th. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I th. Yeah. I th. I tho tho tho tho tho tho tho tho tho this is this is this is this is this is the gas not work that was in the cars already? That was something to do with the...
Starting point is 00:18:06 Sorry. Never explained. Oh, okay. Something to do with the meteorites or the shooting stars. I guess. Got it, got it. Yeah, yeah. But yeah, the berries just mowing them down.
Starting point is 00:18:21 He sure is. As hot dad berries do. Baza. Baza. Baza. I feel like that's just like Australian nickname. Just. Yeah, just throw an up. If you carry, you're gasser. If you're brook, you're like, Chucky. He does call it Chucky. I didn't know what it meant. Yeah, it doesn't have to be shorter or easier to say or make even sense. It just has to be a nickname of some kind. Listen, y'all live in a continent that's trying to kill you at all times. You have spiders the size of dinner plates?
Starting point is 00:18:58 I mean same, dude. Yeah, yeah, but at least we know that it's other people with guns that are trying to kill us here all the time. It's not tiny, cute little jellyfish called Blueys that you're like, oh, I already go see like cute little jellyfish. Oh, wait, now that has more poison that can take out an entire family in one strike. Yeah, we just have a little nickname, is what you're saying? Yeah, you love th just a little little little little little little little little little little little little little little little little little little little little little little little little little little little little little little little little little little little little little little little little little little little little little little, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, little nickname like Bluey for this thing that's going to murder you and then one name a children's cartoon
Starting point is 00:19:26 after it. Yeah, what would you call what would be a nickname for Alan in Australian? As a? There you go. Alan Azza. The Z Z A is easy because you just whack it on the end. Yeah, you just whack it on the end. Yeah, you say Zed for Z. Yeah. I love it. I was thi. The the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the name. I was thinking about like, I've seen so many Australian movies in my life and I just like, I can't think of one that I was ever mad at. Like they're always like, Australian cinema is always so good. Yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 00:19:58 Yeah. I love an Australian accent so much. And I will say this movie is very authentically Australian-I-s they said like it doesn't feel turned up all that much oh really which is very cool yeah if it was turned up too much I wouldn't understand anything they were saying maybe they turned it down for an international audience yeah so we're back with Brooke and there are some guys in her studio yeah giving her an injection in the neck So we're back with Brooke and there are some guys in her studio. Yeah. Giving her an injection in the neck. They take her blood and do like a little lab test right there and it turns bright green right away, which I liked a whole lot.
Starting point is 00:20:35 I liked that pot of a lot. I was like, this is science in Australia. Yeah. I hated that her blood looked like garbage truck water. It was not the right color at all. And I was like, oh, Chucky, what's you been doing, girl? Oh, Chucky. We drink a lot of chocolate milk, Chucky. Yeah, weird.
Starting point is 00:20:54 That part made it feel like a whole another genre again. It's like very early on in the movie, it was like five different movies. Yes, and that just threw the fifth one in and I was like, wait a minute, what is happening now? Yes, it's a very like weird science, crazy doctor, like, Dr. Forrester or something. I wrote his name down as Dr. What the fuck? Yeah, he's doctor what the fuck. Looks like an Australian David Cronin? th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, the th. th. th. Yeah, like, th. Yeah, like, th. Yeah, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, the the the the the the th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. thi. th., Doctor what the fuck is maniacal. Looks like an Australian David Cronenberg.
Starting point is 00:21:27 Sure. Yeah. Yeah. He was also giving me very strong like Peter Jackson's like brain dead vibes. If you remember, Peter Jackson as the, an embalmer from that movie. Yes. It was just like I was like, loves weird stuff and like just, you know, eating sandwich while embalming people and all that stuff.
Starting point is 00:21:47 Yeah, yeah. Yeah, I feel like this is like, this movie is dead smack in the middle of brain dead or bad taste from Peter Jackson and 28 days later. Yeah. And these like, the guys who I just refer to as biohazard boys. I love these biohazard boys. How do you get th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, thi, thi, thi, tha, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, thi, like thi, like thi, like thi, like thi, like thi, like thi, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, thi. Yeah, like, like, thi. like, the guys who I just refer to as biohazard boys. I love his biohazard boys. How do you get a crew like that? I think they're a biohazard boys. Also, what is their job?
Starting point is 00:22:10 What are, I understand like later he's like, oh, it's about saving the species, but like how? I don't think they're just a freak. Yeah I think they're just freaky-deaky dudes. Yeah. Wait, aren't they the military guys? Aren't they working with him? I think they pretend military. Yeah. I thought they were just faking being military and that they were like giving these people to this freak puss out. Oh, I thought he was like a Mengala got my little vibe. I thought they were the real Australian. Then I thought, wait, Australia's got a military, right? I don't know. Yeah, but I just thought it was like some like dark overlord thing
Starting point is 00:22:52 where these people were like pretending to be the military. And they, but they were just giving zombies. I don't know what they were gaining, but that was where my brain went. As an American, I can say no one pretends to be the military. Oh, wait. That's still in battle. You can't do that. Oh, Chucky. Oh, Chucky.
Starting point is 00:23:16 Chucky. That's a good nickname. Chucky? I knew many Chooky. So they're gonna, they're gonna chloroform Brooke, aka Chucky. And she knocks the chloroform down and breaks it. So the guy's just like, well, we'll do it the old-fashioned way and just knocks her the fuck out. Yeah. The fuck out.
Starting point is 00:23:38 Yeah. Cut back to Barry and to. family and now their daughter is a zombie in the backseat of the car. And they're seemingly like, well let's just take her wherever we're going and we'll figure it out there. Yeah, she's buckled so she can't get anywhere. Like she has diarrhea. They just get back in the car. She's just buckled. It's this is fun, everyone's having fun. We're going on a road trip. This is good. It just feels a little. Give her the tablet, it's time for the tablet. Yeah, I've written here, Megan is a zombie, Mom barf's blood, Barry continues to be hot. He really does. Just on and over and over again.
Starting point is 00:24:13 I like how into Barry you guys are. Oh yeah. From the get. My first note was the dad is my hero. Doesn't even have a Wikipedia page. That's what I see one. Neither do we. Yeah, but we weren't in a motion picture.
Starting point is 00:24:30 I beg to differ. We have both been in motion pictures. Just voice actors. Yeah, no one wants this face. I have a face for a voice acting. I have a face for radio. So the wife is like, yeah, you know what? I'm just going to take this respirator off because I can feel this. I'm fucked. Yeah. And he's like, oh, me too. Let's make out because I want to say goodbye to you. Kissing a zombie is such a risky proposition.
Starting point is 00:25:01 It's risky and that's all I could think of. It was like, look, I know you love her, but you don't know anything. No, you don't know how she got that way. It felt reckless, Barry, do you better. Get it to care of, you don't know what's going on here. All right, so hear me out. So the problem way you can nut from here on Elm? Oh, yeah, you don't want that to be your thing. I need to have a misery zombie nut, or I just can't complete anymore.
Starting point is 00:25:33 I also choose this guy's wife. So I just like, yeah, I mean, you know I live in constant fear of figuring out what my thing is? Yeah. I think we figured it out out, though. Wasn't it something very, like, something very non-harmful? I can't remember what it was. Who knows? Who knows? Who is your today? Is it? You're a trad-husband.
Starting point is 00:25:55 You're a tr when you get back. Listen, don't count on me to be your breadwinner. I'm not your trial. Wear a ambulance is not pooling. Thank you, Patrons. I feel like I'm your tread. I'm definitely your trad weird uncle. Yeah. I've got weird uncle vibes, I've got fat guy who can pull off a tank top vibes. Heck yeah, you do.
Starting point is 00:26:25 Those are the two things that I'm going for me. You do wear it the hell out of a tank top. You sure do. Hey, man, I like to be comfortable. Like my shoulders to breathe. Like my shoulders. Breathe and shoulders. So he has to put a with it. I guess that's why he kissed her because he was going to kill himself anyway. Yeah, that's true. Yeah, it clicks.
Starting point is 00:26:47 Does that mean no more nails? It just means no more nails in the nail gun? Can you get a nail gun? I just thought it was also again Barry's so hot but I just thought it was so hot that he had a nail gun and a tradie? So yeah, is this what a what a what a what a what a what a what a tradey is what a tradey is what a tradey is what a trade? the the the the tradey is what a trade? the the tradey? the their their their is tradey? Is th. th. th. th. that's a that's a that's a that he is that he's a that he's a that he's is is is is? Is that he is? Is that he is? Is that he is? Is that he is? Is? Is? Is that he is that he is that he is? Is? Is? Is? Is? Is? Is that he is that he is that he is th. th. th. Yeah? Is? Is th. Yeah? Is th. Yeah? Is th. Yeah? Is th. Yeah? No? No? No? No? No? No? No? No? No? No? No? No? No? No? No? No? No? No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No, is th. No. Notrade. You know who is like the definition of a tradie is the really hot tradie with the beard, the bold guy who picks him up and saves his life? He's a tradie. That's like sexy tradie. But yeah Barry's a trade. I mean he's a spocky. No, he's a plumber. I think he's a mechanic. A sparkie is an mechanic. A sparkie. A spa. A spa. A spa. A spa. A spa. A spa. A spa. A spa. A spa. A spa. A spa. A spa. A spa. A the the the the the th. A th. A th. A th. A th. A th. A th. A thi is an Sparky's no sparkies an electrician okay Basically a blue-bloop is a glove Yeah a tradie is a contractor a trade like tradey like trade-men like a builder yeah Builder plumber whatever basically a trady is you wear high-vis like top button up yeah you wear like the giblets over your boots you know like the giblets that go over your boots so crum so like so like so like so thaw dust doesn't go into your socks and shit like like like like like the the the the the the the the the the the the to the the the to the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the to to to to to to th. to to to to to to too too to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. tr. tr. tr. tr. tr. tre. tre. tre. tre. tre. tre. tre. tre. tre. tre. tre. tre. tre. tre. tre. tre. tre. tre. tr, like the giblets that go over your boots, so crumps, so like, so like sawdust doesn't go into your socks and shit, like over your boots. In America. And really short, short, yeah, yeah. Very short, navy blue shorts.
Starting point is 00:27:55 Tradie, that's a tradie. We're the belt. Trading. I was going to say giblets in America are things that comes out of a turkey's neck. But you know I figured we could move on from that. All righty. I might have made that name up for them myself as a child and I don't know. It's different from a Wellington, different from like a welly? Yeah, no, we don't have wellies, we have gumboots. Yeah, sure. Sure. I'm from here with the gum boots. thi It's like a little piece of fabric that goes over your boot and over your sock, like a curtain over your boot so that sawdust and debris doesn't go in your boot.
Starting point is 00:28:30 Sure. You know, giblet. Similar to what a cop might wear going into a murder scene so that they're not leaving debris around as they're walking around. Yeah, I guess. Side track. So yeah, he's going to kill himself and then he can't, so then the guy who you refer to as the hot tradie?
Starting point is 00:28:50 Yes, he doesn't have a name in this movie, so I think we can just call him hot trading. He doesn't live long enough to have a name. Oh, I was so sad though. Because he was so hot and I just really liked him. He's got that style that I'm like, can I pull that off? No, I've shaved my head before I can't. Yeah, yeah, I immediately go into Jan 6 mode if I just like shave my head completely. I feel like if he lived in America we would probably think he was a white nationalist,
Starting point is 00:29:14 but since he's Australian you're like, oh, he's a hot trading. Yeah. If he lived in America, I got going on over there? Yeah. Huh? Some Nordic shit? What do you got going on over there too? So yeah, this guy comes and he's like, he's threatening to kill Barry and then Barry's like, yeah, do that. That's what I want to have that, but please do that. Please do it. Well, now that you give that to you because I love edging suicides. I don't know what he's doing. He's a name shining armor, hot trading. I think you're putting a lot of stank on the guy that's not necessarily there.
Starting point is 00:29:53 You're like, mmm, hello. I like he tries to put Barry in like an arm bar, and Barry just bite him. Yeah. Hell yeah, Barry you're so hot. Look, it's just a battle of the hottest here. Is that what MMA is? Just biting? Not that biting, I don't think. Not that's a biting. But the bending, yes, I think the bending.
Starting point is 00:30:13 I also, someone must have headbutted someone else because I wrote, gave him the old Irish kiss. I know you love it when I am rude to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to the the to the the to the to be their their their to the iron. I do like that he head butts him. I think I wrote that's the most Australian way to get out of a fight. It's just head butts and glossing one another. See, I associate that with our guard. We've been glasses in bars, so it's fine now. Really? Oh yeah. Too many people got glassed. Can you imagine doing that to another human being?
Starting point is 00:30:45 No. Can you imagine shooting another human being? Yeah, through those living in glass houses here. Mindless violence. Yeah, I don't own a gun. I own a lot of glasses. Let's go break them out back. What? I don't know.
Starting point is 00:31:05 Did you get into the Metho again? So now they're on this weird buddy movie where they have to go through Australia to get to, they're trying to get to Brooke. So he's getting the hot tradie to take him to Brooke. Who's in? Bula Bula Bula? That's right. Which is like a national park I was looking up? Probably. I mean a lot of Australian places are named with like Aboriginal Australian names. So Bulabula, but I thought, yeah, probably. The only thing I could find was on Mount Bula Bula.
Starting point is 00:31:33 I found the town. There was like 800 people living in it or something. Yeah. That sounds right. Yeah. Have you ever seen the long weekend? No. It's an Australian movie about this couple that's th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. the th. th. they. th. th. they. th. their. th. their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, th. th. their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, th. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah, th. Yeah. Yeah, th. Yeah, th. Yeah, th. Yeah, th. Yeah, th. Yeah, th. Yeah, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their. Yeah, their seen the long weekend? No. It's an Australian movie about this couple that's going through this terrible breakup, so they decided to go camping. What? What? I wouldn't...I don't...I'm a night man. I can't be camping with my spouse when we're getting along at the best of time. Yeah, pass.
Starting point is 00:31:56 And like, I don't know if they know if they know yet they're going to break up. I see. And so they go camping and while they're camping like I don't know what it would be in Australia but a thing that looks like a manatee wash aft up on the beach and they end up killing it and then nature's like nah dog we're gonna take you out and they just keep getting attacked by different animals and it does so that is my idea the tree. Because they they thau thau th. It th is th. It th is th is th. It th is th is th is th. It th is th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the they the the they the the the the the the the the the the the the the an thea thea thea thea the the the the the the the manate? Because the stingray? Because they kill a stingray? It's like, it looked like a sea cow or something. It was like this like kind of, like a seal or something. I don't know what you all have down there. Yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 00:32:34 I don't know what we have down there. That's the other side of the fucking continent. Nope, no. And you probably don't even talk to each other because who knows what's over there? No, nobody goes to Puff. You can't run a phone line across Australia. No, no, we don't know what's going on over there.
Starting point is 00:32:57 I hope they're okay. Go on Google Maps and. It's the literal other end. Where did you come from in Australia? I grew up in up and down the southeast coast but my adult memories are in Brisbane. Okay. Yeah. So yeah, they're going to get Brooke. It's the hot tradie and Barry. Yes. And they come across Benny who we saw at the beginning. Benny the storyteller in the beginning. Right. Yes. They hear gunshots after their tree. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. their th. their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their th. th. the the. their theoer. their their the. their the. the. the. th. th. their th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. their. their. their. their their th. th. their th. th. th. th. th. the. the. the. the. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. the beginning. Benny, the storyteller in the beginning. Right. Because they hear gunshots after their truck breaks down. Right. Stopped running. Mm-hmm.
Starting point is 00:33:31 And then all of a sudden, the hot treaty gets shot in the head. Just shot in the head. It's really sad. I love that he's shot in the head because Barry's just like, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, well, well, well, well, well, well, well, well, well, well, well, well, well, well, well, well, the, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, and then, and then, right, right, right, right, right, right, right, right, right, right, right, right, right, right, right, right, right, right, right, right, right, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, thi, thi, stops, stops, thi, stops, thi, stops, that, stops, stops, thi, stops, stops, stops, thi, stops, stops, stops, stops, stops,'s fucked? Yeah, yeah, he's like, well, is he all right? Nah, he's Ed's fucked. And there he becomes friends with Benny right away. He does not put him through the same trials that he put Hot Trai through. No, he's got a trustworthy face.
Starting point is 00:33:56 Yeah. He feels deeply regretful that hee immediately though you know yeah I'm going to look to see how this man is credited and I hope it says hot tradie what if it does it go and be on your face it doesn't anyway see him and Benny are just like hey we're best buds let's go and walk about for a while yeah yeah we cut back to the hazmat guy who is like playing Casey in the Sunshine Band, like it's your cousin's wedding and dancing and giving people injections and he's got zombies tied up and you're just like, what the fuck is this? And he's giving Brooke an injection of the same stuff he's putting into the other people, but they're turning into zombies.
Starting point is 00:34:48 And he says five more injections, because reasons. Yeah, but she starts seeing the things that zombies see. And why? Queen is zombies. You don't, they don't have to explain themselves to you. No, it's your way, they don't. I'm not to you. No, it's your way, they don't. I'm not. Katie, you're not their mom. I'm not their mom.
Starting point is 00:35:07 Yeah. And if they were talking to Jesus on the phone, I'd still make them hang up. Yeah, OK. Here I wrote, yeah, OK. Just like you do. Yeah, okay. This is when they get to the garage where Frank and his assistant. That's my favorite, oh wait, wait, wait, wait, the garage? Or is it not a garage? I thought they were like mechanics also.
Starting point is 00:35:32 Yeah, it's like a pole bar and garage thing. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. That's my favorite scene of the whole entire movie. It's the best. Really? Yeah, yeah. It's my favorite scene. th. the. the the the the the the the th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. Oh, oh, oh, th. Oh, th. Oh, th. Oh, th. Oh, th. Oh, th. Oh, th. Oh, th. Oh, th. Oh, th. Oh, th. Oh, th. Oh, th. Oh, th. Oh, th. Oh, th. Oh, th. Oh, th. Oh, th. Oh, th. Oh, th. Oh, th. Oh, th. Oh, th. Oh, th. Oh, th. Oh, th. Oh, th. Oh, th. Oh, th. Oh, th. Oh, that's, that's, th. th. th. tha. that's, th. th. Oh, tha. Oh, th. Oh, th. Oh, th. Oh, he's like, this fucking zombies are we? Can we come in? And then he's like, all right? He says, yeah, okay. He goes, yeah, okay. And it's just like the most Australian thing ever, like really speaks to we don't care about a lot of things. We're very chill, like, yeah. It's just gold. It just feels like if it was an American movie, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. thi. th. thi. th. thi. Really liked it. It does feel like if it was an American movie, like, no?
Starting point is 00:36:05 Yeah. They can't come in here. They would not wait for questions, yeah. Not at all. Oh, man, we're the worst. So they go through this thing where they explain about the flammable substances no longer being flammable. And one of them goes, I guess I would explain it. I also want to to to to to to to also want to give a shout out to when they let Barry and Benny in, the one guy comes out in Ned Kelly armor, which if you're not familiar with, Ned Kelly, he was an Australian
Starting point is 00:36:34 criminal who, when the cops finally found them, they all put on like armor that they made out of pots and pans and buckets and went outside for a shootout with the cops. Wow. Didn't go well for him. But still, I love that he comes out in this like, bucket armor to face the zombies. I was like, that's a good Ned Kelly shout out. It's very cool. It was very good. Yeah, there was like an, if you know-
Starting point is 00:36:54 it was like an, if you know-too thing that was like an if you know you know thing. Yeah, yeah, definitely. Yeah. These guys have a zombie named Neville in a freezer and they're all just like that's Neville. He's just like their boy. They're like, yeah, we suck him in a freezer. Yeah, we don't want to get rid of them. Yeah, he's Neville. So they realize that the zombie's blood is flammable. And so is nev. their. their. they's. they's. they's. they's. they's. they's. they's. they's. they's. they's. they's. they's. they's. Yeah. Yeah. they's. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah, they's. Yeah, they's. they's they's they they they they they they're they're they're they they're they they're they they're they're they're that the zombie's blood is flammable, and so is Neville's fart breath, so they can use them as fuel. Genius. I've got Barry pumping away on a machine. I was like, Barry pump away. Keep pumping.
Starting point is 00:37:36 Pull Neville. You'll fuck Neville. Furniest podcast ever. Good on you, Neville. Horneest podcast ever? Good on ya Neville. Irreparably horny. They also have a gas-powered harpoon on the top of this truck. Yeah. Fuck me, bullseye. Yeah, it's really... It's just another like creative hodgepodge. Like who the fuck thought of this?
Starting point is 00:38:07 Yeah. It's like Mad Max plus and then some kind of hodgepodge. You're like an ATM or something. Like, it's very silly. And they also have a surplus of BMX armor that they can all put on. Well, maybe they live on properties and everyone has BMX bikes, so they can all put on. So much armor. Well, maybe they live on properties and everyone has BMX bikes, so they probably just, okay, you know.
Starting point is 00:38:30 That doesn't seem out that they live in the bush and they have like motocross, BMX armor. Because what else do you do in the middle? Remember how we talked about this? Nothing in the middle? Yeah, maybe you go motorcycle motorcycle in. But Barry also has a Lord Homunculus mask from that. So he wears as well. Very true. I wish he wouldn't. Can't see his face. Yeah, I know. I need to see them busted up teeth Barry. What are you doing?
Starting point is 00:38:57 I think the mask off. It's the mangled grill you got going on bull. So they're they fueled up with their zombie fuel so now they're gonna go up and take on the world. Oh they still have to get to to brook. I think that's the goal. That's the plan. They just plow through a massive zombies. There's so many scenes of just driving through zombies. Yeah, I like a whole to the zombies. I did really like early on when Barry and the family are driving over zombies and you're not seeing, you're just hearing like the blplunk as they go over the zombie and I was like, oh that's fun and a good way for a low budget movie to handle this situation. It is.
Starting point is 00:39:34 Yes. They are in such a tight shot that you can't tell what they're driving like a Toyota Tercel. A little Ford Festiva or something? Yeah, you would fuck yourself up driving over a zombie in one of those. They got it. Those Australian cars are they're tougher. Well yeah they got to go through the go over all those kangaroos right? Yeah, yeah hit them head on. I mean if you're gonna go up pig hunting. Nobody I'm sure they do. Benny says I do Benny. Benny. We come back to Brooke and she's sadly in a nine-inch nails video all of a sudden. She's like chained up and there's like a strobe light and she's seeing zombie scenes? Yeah, she wants to fuck you like an animal. Yeah, from the inside. Yeah, it's bizarre. She's experiencing a downward spiral. I'm gonna keep going March March of the Pigs, other nine-inch-nail songs.
Starting point is 00:40:26 For all of these scenes with her before she is freed from this truck, which we don't know as a truck yet. Yes. I was like, I have no idea what's meant to be happening here. All the same, all the way up until we know what's happening. I'm just so confused and almost to the point of like I didn't the th th th th th th th th th th tho tho tho tho tho tho tho tho the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the. the the the the the the their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their they. th. th. th. th. th. th. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. thean. tea. tea. tea. tea. tea. thea. thea. thea. theea. the. the just so confused and almost to the point of like I didn't have enough information so every time it went to that scene I was just like I still don't know what's happening I don't know why we're here again what why? Like I just there was no there's just nothing until the end. Yeah Give me back my sweet-sweet Barry. Yeah Barry! I do like that like all of her powers seem to be derived from her being like a surly lady with a smoky eye. Yeah. And half a shirt and half a shirt and baggy pants. So as we've discussed before
Starting point is 00:41:23 I've been searching for, I think that's my thing. I think like that's just my thing. There you go. All right. Are you a certainly lady with a smoky eye? Like pretty into it. I think we all could have told you that that was your thing. Most listeners are nodding along right now. Yes, yes, yes, we know. I do like that there was that what episode where we both both both both both both both both both both both both both both both both both the th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. thi. th. th. th. that that that that that that that. that. that. that. that. that. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. the. the. the. the. th. the th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. that. that. that. that. that. that. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. ththat there was that one episode where we both address being like straight folks up here were like, wait, what? Yeah, people really did not know you were straight. Weird. Weird.
Starting point is 00:41:52 Anyway, I'm always talking about how hot dudes are and you're like, that dude is. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, I mean, I'm straight but like if Tom Hardy was like, yeah, come on, Tom Hardy. What we do doing here? Uh, so she uses her newfound zombie powers to get the zombies to kill low rent, Mangala. Yeah. And then like, to liberate her as well.
Starting point is 00:42:23 Yeah, so one of the zombies has like a scalp a scalpel jammed into its tom tom to yeah yeah yeah yeah I'm just I'm the I missed the I missed the entry yes I only caught the tale in to that. I feel like you thinne to that. I I only caught the tail end of that. I feel like you were really checked out when Brooke was on screen You're like, I guess she bored. I'm like where's your brother Vassar? Listen I didn't come here for barely sure. Yeah. Yeah. I came here for your favorite brother. Did you like that I'm getting to know you very well to this podcast? So while this is happening, Barry is following a truck that is like found them on the road and
Starting point is 00:43:18 the trucks like follow us will take you to safety and or something. Yeah, well this is, this is well later. Oh is it? Okay. Frank has to die first. Benny's, I think he'sto safety and or something. Yeah, well this is well later. Oh is it? Okay. Frank has to die first. Oh, right. Yeah, Frank. Yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:43:31 Yeah. I like that. Yeah. Oh, yeah. I like that a lot. Yeah. That's when they figured out that they slow at night because, no, other way, they're fast at night because they're using their own gas
Starting point is 00:43:47 and then they're slowing the day because they're resting. So these zombies were like resting in the lawn and their car broke stopped, right? Yeah. Right, right, right. And then we also get this story about Frank's baby with brain. I know. And I was like another fucking dead son. a zombie movie. Why are we doing this? What? It didn't need to happen. No.
Starting point is 00:44:08 We did not need Frank's son to be dead of brain cancer. We could just like Frank. Frank's just was my favorite. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. You go. Frank's got the facial hair that I'm like, can I pull that off? No. All right. You need a friend who tells you. You do. You do. I tell you the truth. You have hot treaty facial hair. That's
Starting point is 00:44:30 what I'm saying. Yeah, you've already got, you're off way to hot tradey. You just need giblets. Squirlurl or orange and then you're there. And you're there. I do a traaaa the the the the tra tra tra tra tra tra tre tre tre tre tre tre tre. I'll the t tre. I'll the t true the t true the t the t the t the t the t true true the t the t true. Yeah, rings on their fingers. No. No, you can't wear a ring while you're treating because you'll de-glove yourself in certain situations. Get mud under it. You get sweaty sawdust under it.
Starting point is 00:44:57 It's not. It's a slurry of sawdust. It's a thawdus. It's a slurry. It's a slurry. It's a slur. It's a slur. It's a slur. It's a slur. It's a slur. It's a slurice. Oh yeah, I'm here. See, Dick bite, dead Frank. And then, uh, Dick bite, dead Frank. And then, uh, uh, he's Catholic and he gives us the like etymology of the the wormwood. Yes, yes, yes, yes. You know, this shooting star that was prophesied to fall to earth and be the beginning of the end, final judgment, trial by fire, being tested, all that. Yes, yeah, which they're all like, yeah, right. Like, oh, except, except, except, except, except, except, except, except, except, except, except, except, except, except, except, except, except, except, except, except, except, except, except, except, except, except, except, except, except, except, except, except, except, except, except, except, except, except, except, except, except, except Penny who's like, I don't listen to that shit.
Starting point is 00:45:47 I just love them. I too appreciate Benny for that. Yes. And this is when we get the medical box that has beers. And give me the first aid kit. Oh my God. And then I was like, I'm still holds up, the one scene I remembered. Very good. You want a beer Frank? What do you fucking reckon? Yeah. And then I was like, we need to adopt reckon. Like that is so good. I know, I wish we could but it's really theirs. Sure. Are you just like you and I
Starting point is 00:46:15 you and I? Yeah, yeah. No, everyone should take it. I don't know. I feel like if America takes it from you, then it's meaningless. Again, I just just just the their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. Everyone, their. Everyone, their. Everyone, their. Everyone, th. But if Alan and I take it, then it's just a friendship. It's just, it's like the sound of my people, so I'm fine to hear it from yins too. Do you reckon? Ha ha ha! Got it in there! She's what I be trying to do that? I've been practicing. Do you reckon we should do that? I reckon you should. I reckon used guys should do that. That was good. That was from where Allen's in from too. Oh, use guys? Use guys. Yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 00:46:51 Many, many times in Philly. There's a little melting pot in here now. Three white people. Yeah. Two of us are women, so we're a minority-owned. And one of us is a dog. Thanks. Oh shit, not you, Alan. I'm just a low-down, dirty dog. A egg-sucking dog. God made dirt and dirt bust your ass. Oh my god.
Starting point is 00:47:21 So, yeah, so, uh, excuse me. So Frank, because he's Catholic, can't kill himself, and Barry does it for him, shoots Frank in the head. Yeah. Which also, Barry fucked up. Very fucked up. He was the one who would set the compressor on fire. Yeah. So like, you know. Oh, right, because he wakes up and starts shooting wildly.
Starting point is 00:47:42 He just got angry and, yeah, and then he sets fire to the zombie. Yeah, and then they find out that... Oh, this is when they meet back up with you, the biohazard dudes. Yes, yes, yes. This is where we learn about the A-negative blood type? Is A-negative a-po? Yes, it is. A plus. Yeah. What's yours? A plus? I don't know. I should probably figure out.
Starting point is 00:48:06 Not because my medical team doesn't know. Because I only have so much room up here to store so much information and it's not my blood type. It's true I probably could go to my UPMC and my blood type. It's definitely on record. It's probably nerds at this point, if I'm being honest. Nerd's with Andy or nerds people. Nice.
Starting point is 00:48:29 It's just 20-sided dye and nerds can't. As long as it's not the color of Chukies. Yeah. Then we're good. I feel like Chooky had chocco blood, so it kind of makes sense. Chuky. Chuky chakko. Ohchuky, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh. Oh. Oh. Oh. Oh. Oh. Oh. Oh. Oh. Oh. Oh. Oh. Oh. Oh. Oh. Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, no, no, p poor, no, poor. Yeah, poor, poor. Yeah, poor, poor, poor. Yeah, poor. Oh, poor. Oh, oh, oh, ohthat actually was something? Her blood color? Oh, okay. It's just badly done.
Starting point is 00:48:47 I'm putting red string places where it doesn't belong. This movie had a budget of $160,000. Yeah. American? I don't know, Alan. It made less than that, so. But it's so good. I mean, it made enough to get a sequel.
Starting point is 00:49:02 A multiple, and a show show, and a show, and a show, and a show, and a show, and a show, and a show, and sequel. A multiple? Really? And a show? I think there's a series show? Really? Yeah? I think so. I don't know. I don't know. Is Barry in it? I don't know.
Starting point is 00:49:11 Let's find out. It's called Barry Fox. It's called Barry Foxx. It's called? I mean, not to throw more confusion in, but woodwatch. Yeah. This is where we learn that it's some sort of airborne illness that's causing the zombie infection, which I like a lot. Sure. That it's not, I don't know. But also in a post-COVID world, I'm like, oh, is it?
Starting point is 00:49:41 I literally forgot about COVID. Don't at me. And I'm proud to be here. Yeah, at least I'll never wear a mask again. That's not good. Very bad, not good. Brooke, I'm pretty sure one of them was Brooke. That's what the...
Starting point is 00:50:02 But they do have Brooke, she's in the back of the truck. Yeah, they seem like nice blokes. So we cut back to the inside of the truck which we now realize is the inside of the truck and Brooke has a zombie attacking the hazmat guy. Yeah. How should she do this? How's she doing this? With her brain? Yeah super zombie queen now. And then she starts th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. the thi the, the, thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thoom- thoom- thoom- thi thi tho- tho- tho- tho- tho- tho- tho- tho- tho- tho- thu- thu- thu- thu- th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. the the the the the the. the. the. the. the. the. theeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee then she starts beeping at one point they have like they have alerts around their necks to tell them when they're supposed to get their injections yeah yeah yeah so then low rent Meggola knows when to go in it just adds to the anxiety though that beep that's just constant I'm like still haven't breathed since the story in the beginning. No one once beeps. And the hazmat guy's getting like super close to her face
Starting point is 00:50:49 with his teeth inside the plastic thing, just being like, it's time. It's so creepy. Yeah. And he had those glasses with a lot of lenses on the outside of them. Yeah, for seeing, I thean glasses I think. God, I love you. And them glasses for seeing? I'm looking glasses. So he, once he has been bitten by the zombie, has my guy, he decides to saw himself to death.
Starting point is 00:51:15 Because he's got, well he's going to cut off the place that he thinks is infected. Oh, see, I'm not sure if I would rather just become a zombie. Same. That's the my immediately fall. I was like, oh, no, just keep the hand and be a zombie. Everybody else is. Like, I would take a bullet to the head if I was a zombie. But I'm not going to put a saw on my torso. So like, so, if it's airborne, how come? Then it's airborne, the knows so much. Huppies is not an herbace. No, I don't think herpes is saibonsa.
Starting point is 00:51:45 What? I don't think you guys are medical doctors. I like the idea of you telling Missy you've got herpes from walking around the whole foods. Oh, babe, no, that's airport herpes. Yeah. It's called airpiece It's Airbees! It goes right on your dick, it's so weird. It's when someone, never mind. It's like a zombie bit your dick way you're pissing.
Starting point is 00:52:12 Exactly. When she gets freed, she pulls a tube out of her throat that's at least 9 feet long. It makes me gag. It's very visceral. Yeah, it's really gross. Yeah. She does a lot of good barfing in this movie. She does. And you know I appreciate that. And there's a lot of like again weird colored fluid that comes out when she pulls that tamed out. Yeah. She's just really laughing at the lawn the lawn. Yeah. That's my favorite Australianism. It's a very good. What is laughing at the lawn. Laughing at the lawn, throwing it. Interesting. And also Chuck and a Sikki.
Starting point is 00:52:45 Yeah, Chuck and a Sikki. You gotta check a Sikki. What is Chuck and a Siggi? Not going to work. Sikki, a Sikki. Chak a sickie. All right, all right. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:52:55 So she runs out of the back of the the vehicle that Benny and Barry are driving. She's a badass. She's a badass. A-o- She's on the hood like Tom Hardy in Madmex. Go on. Go on. I like what you're saying. Oh man, should I leave? She'd kid you and I leave? This is out of town, I'll be fine.
Starting point is 00:53:19 Yeah. There's plenty of time for that. They stop the truck and then they meet she meets Benny and her and Benny immediately started having this weird flirtatious relationship that I was like I'm into this for you too. I like I thought it was cute I mean you're better looking than your brother yeah the pole guy I mean it felt like a cute moment you just feel bad for him for the beginning of the movie yeah yeah he's been through a lot throwing th th th th th th th at th at th at th at th at th at th at th at th. th. th. the th. the th. th. the th. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. the the th. the the the the the the thi. I'm the the the the th. I'm th. I'm th. I'm th. I'm th. I'm. I'm. I'm. I'm. I's. I's. I's. I's. I's. I th. I th. I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I th. I I I I I I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I'm. I's. Ithe movie. Yeah. Then he's been through a lot. Throw him a little something. That is what I felt. Oh, jeez. Brooke is asking Barry to shoot her, but he can't do it. But I thought, like, you shot your baby in the face, you know?
Starting point is 00:53:58 I would shoot my brother so much faster than I'd shoot my kid. Yeah. Different relationship. You also would not travel to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to tha tha tha tha thoble thoble thoble thoble thoble thoble thoble my kid. Yeah. Different relationship. You also would not travel to Bul-Bula to get your brother. Only if it was to shoot him in the head, yeah. I did also, yeah, I mean, he had no... And poor Benny has been shot by the military guys. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:54:17 In like the knee or something or the leg, so that he can't move. Yeah. And then he comes up with this plan. Tell me the plan. Where he's going to get bit so that he becomes a zombie. And then Brooke can control him, which I feel like is just another level to their flirtation. Yes. They just control me girl. Yeah. She's, this is, she's a lot.
Starting point is 00:54:40 He think it's like a psychic strap on. Yeah. She's just psychically pegging him. Irreperably, horny. I was irreparably psychically pegged by wearing one. And all I got was a stupid t-shirt. And probably a fine for wearing this t-shirt. Okay, you can take that anywhere.
Starting point is 00:55:00 You're in the airport, people are like, no, don't things't know that guy. Sir you cannot wear that to church. He has come up with this plan to keep Barry from lighting matches and throwing them onto the compressor and just blowing everyone up. Yeah which I think is the best idea. The same I mean we're already here. Yeah. Yeah no I think Barry understands the situation better than everybody else is letting on. Ben he still has hope and Barry's like, yeah. Turns out I put a nail in my child's forehead this morning, so I'm good. I'm probably good. Or yesterday morning, I guess.
Starting point is 00:55:32 He's hot and hopeless. That's how I love them though. Yeah. That's when you get him. That's how you get them. Yikes. Yikes. bad people. Oh man, that's my 20s. When I was hot and hopeless. I wasn't hot, I had a chin beard. No, we can all. You're always a good looking man, Alan. Oh, stop it. So what happens next?
Starting point is 00:55:56 The military guys are going to behead Brooke. Yeah. For reasons? They're mad at her. But she's also like an experiment on right, you know, presumably. Well, unless it's my theory where they're just, he's like, was the overlord guy and there was no military solving the world thing and he was just a freak doing it for his own pleasure. Okay. So he's like a super villain who has his own army of like bioboys. That's I I I I I I I I I I I I I th th th that that that that that that that th. I that th. I th. I th th. I th th th th th th th th thus thus thus thus thus thus thus thus thus thus. thus thus thus thus thus thus thus thus thus thus thus thus. thus. thus. thus. thus. thus. thus. thus. thus. thus. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. thus, thus, thus, the. the. thea thea thea thea thea thea thea thea thea thea thus. thus. Well, thought. Okay, I like that. You're the Australian, you know about the rest of us. I don't know if that qualifies me. I didn't remember half of this movie.
Starting point is 00:56:32 So. No, I feel like this is just a history of Australia that we have heard. Yeah, this is a documentary. Yeah, okay, yeah, she was proven the pudding or they hated her because she killed their overlord. I don't know. And she was God's greatest mistake. That's right. Yep. And now look eggs on their face. She gets shot in the titty. Yeah. She gets shot in the titty. Yeah. She's. She's task. She's. She's. She sure does. She pops it right out of there. Yeah. Yeah. the. And. And. And. And. And. And. And. And. the. the. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. Yeah. Yeah. to. to. to. Yeah. to. to. Yeah. to. to. to. to. to. to. the. the. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Just pops it right out of there. Again, back to Australia where Zina, no Zena was filmed in New Zealand. It's Zenna. I'm just kidding. I can actually pronounce Zed-uh. Zeta, I think.
Starting point is 00:57:19 But she always had her tits-out going into combat, so I figured that this lady also had the thing. Sure, why not? I mean, she's got a non-shirt. I mean, I'm also always tits out going into combat. Your tits out everywhere we go. All the time, everywhere we go, tits out. It's the most comfortable. What am I going to say? When she gets shot in the tiddy, all, all, all, all, all, all, all, all, all, all, all, all, all, all, all, all, all, all, all, all, all, all, all, all, all, all, all, all, all, all, all, all, all, all, all, all, all, all, all, all, all, all, all, all, all, all, all, all, all, to, all, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, ti, ti, ti, ti, t, t, t, t, t, t, t, I, t, I, to, I, to, I, I, to, to, to, ti, ti, ti, ti, ti, ti, ti, ti, ti, ti, ti, ti, ti, ti, ti.s, ti.s, ti.s, ti.s, ti.s, ti.s, tits, tits, tits, tits, tits, t zombies drop too. Yeah, because they're part of her. She's one and they are one and they are bored. She's pegging all of them. Psychically. Mm-hmm. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:57:48 Also, I'd never heard of a seven boomerang before. Were you aware of what a seven boomerang was? I had never heard of a seven boomerang before. Literally a boomerang in my life, how anyone could have ever thrown those as a killing weapon, I have no idea, because it was just like, throwing a boomerang for me, it's just, wee, it goes off in that direction, never comes back. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:58:15 Yeah, you're not going to catch that thing when it comes back to you, right? It's going to come back and you just just just just just just just just just just just just just just just just just just just just just just just just just just just just just just just just just just just just just just just just just just just just just just just just just just just just just just just just just just just just just just just just just just just just just just just just to just to just on the way back. That's a suicide. Yeah. Yeah. I'm too Catholic for that. Like Frank. Like Frank. Pull frown. Oh, Frank. So, uh, yeah, Brooke controls Benny and he shoots all the bio boys. Yeah. And then they kill Benny. He gets shot in the head. Yeah. Oh, rip Benny. R-I-B. You get the best one line as of the whole movie too. It's th. It's. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Rip Benny. I know. R-I-B. You get the best one-liners of the whole movie too. It's true. He's the comic relief so you know he can't go too early but like at some point he's not the hero. Yeah. Yeah. A lot of his comic relief was like felt like felt ill-time to do. We're like Barry's suffering. Yeah, that was the w. the the the the the the the the the the the th. th. th. th. th. th. th. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi's thi's thi's thi's thi. thi's thi's thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. th. th. th. Yeah. th. th. th. th. th. th. the the the the th. the th. th. th. the. the. the. the the. the the the the the. the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the. You're like, look, Barry's suffering. Could you just be sensitive to Barry? Yeah. That was the whiplash I felt where I'll be like grieving for someone and then he would be like, no, he said it's fucked. But I feel like that's very Australian. Very. Just be like in the face of like absolute despair, be like, well, fuck it.
Starting point is 00:59:19 Here we go. Neville's got him in the freezer. This is where the military, there's one military guy left. And Barry uses the boomerang in a very sexy way to take his helmet off, which he, which then infects him. Mm-hmm. The guy says to him, there's more at stake here than you know. So I don't know. Maybe we got to watch the sequel. There's the second. Yeah. There's definitely a second.
Starting point is 00:59:45 Yeah, we're gonna find out. Gotta find out. Wormwooded. Still warm wooden? Worm-me-wood. It's all work. So they decide to have a fist fight. Oh my god.
Starting point is 00:59:57 Yeah, yeah. It's really fun. I love it. Captivated the whole time. Yeah. Just because you all were horny for Barry. Yeah. I was also very high at this point. And super engaged by the edge of couch at this point watching the fight scene. It was very good. Smoking that fight weed. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I don't know. And Barry does, as I would also do in any fight situation, I'm grabbing your fucking dick while we're fighting. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:00:37 I'm going to win. I'm going to grab your dick. Of course. What is this on a shit? Although, the line of like, nobody grabs another man's balls in a fight. Show's low character. And then he shoots him. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:00:50 Yeah. But his face is flammable. So that's nice. Yeah. That part, yeah, really, it's convenient for Barry. It's like a good little boost up there. An entire head firewalk, just his heads on firewalior walk? I don't know if we've had that before either.
Starting point is 01:01:08 I don't think we have and I really enjoyed it. Mm-hmm. But now he's on the ground. Yeah. And Brooke pulls the bullet out of her tiddy and drops it. Yeah, she does. Just drops it. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:01:18 Yeah. it. She's the queen of the zombies now. She's the queen. I hope that in a trial by fire to determine if I'm good or evil I just go full evil like Brooke. Sure. Yeah. I hope I can like I can like I want to be one of the tradies. I want to like armor up and like get full get up and just hit ahead on. We got that from you. Yeah I want to just like go have it. You are a tradeie. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. the the the the the. Yeah. I. Yeah. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I'm. I'm. I'm. I'm. I'm. I. I. I'm. the. I'm. I'm. I. I'm. I'm. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. the. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. Yeah, we got the charity. Yeah, I want to just like go have at it. You are tradey hopeful. Yeah. If there's an apocalypse, I'm probably going to stick with you until I get tired of it and kill myself. All right.
Starting point is 01:01:53 All right. I'm a little absent minded though. That's true. I mean, Apocalypse is the A in ADHD. There's no E for Efficient, so you cover that. I'll cover everything else. Yeah, I'm super efficient. I'll make a spreadsheet real quick. Great. I'll forget where I put it.
Starting point is 01:02:18 And make it up to go along. Oh shit, what was the Bus Tram Boddy's Body's, Your Walking? Spreadsheet with a superiority complex. If you don't think that's on my brain for the last two weeks, dude, that hits you hard. That can be hard.
Starting point is 01:02:33 I am walking spreadsheet with a superiority complex. You're not. I might be. I would never describe you as having a superiority. No, I think you're efficient and you don't have time for inefficiency. I don't have time for inefficiency. I ain't got time to bleed. You know like these two bullshitters over here that forget everything all the time. What? Shall we write this thing? Yes. Katie, do you want to go first? No, I'll probably go first because she brought it here. Okay. Do this by 10 10. the the the the the to to to to to to be to be to be to be to be to be to be the to be the to be the to be the to be to be the to be the the to be to be to be to be to be to be to be to be to be to be to be to be to be to be to be to be to be to be to be to be to be to bleed. I. I. I to bleed. I to bleed. I to bleed. I to bleed. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I'm. I'm. I'm. I'm. I'm. I'm. I'm. I'm. I'm. I'm. I'm. I'm. I'm. I'm. I'm. I'm. I'm. I'm. I'm. I'm. I'm. I'm. I'm. I she brought it here. Okay. Do this by. One of ten. Honestly, the opening scene, I was ready to give it a ten off the bat.
Starting point is 01:03:09 It was everything I needed and wanted. I loved it so much. I loved how brutal it was and how much whiplash I got. I loved how confused I got. I'm giving it a ten. Oh damn. I loved it. And I've th and I've loved it. And I've never been on this podcast before,
Starting point is 01:03:25 so there's nothing to compare that to. 10. Now we have to have it back, we are like, Sound of Music, three. Yes, exactly. I hate that movie. Yeah, I love that movie so much. I love that movie so much.
Starting point is 01:03:41 It's too boring. It's too. They go against the Nazis and win! Yeah, that part's cool, but it's dull to get there. Farewell, ad to Havita's in, good night. Oh man, I love that move. I just made Missy watch it recently. Oh God. Don't you do enough bad things to Missy with making a watch
Starting point is 01:04:01 Did you say word for word in the background too while I was... No? Okay, yeah. Just under your breath. Listen, I am an 85 year old grandmother, all right? So just deal with the dog. I'll allow it. Katie, rating. I loved this. It made me think of you quite a bit. I'm gonna give it a seven. I think it's a bit flawed. Seven is solid. I think the pacing is a little off in it. I th. I th. I the th. I the th. It. It. It. It. It. It's. It's the the the their. It's. It's. It's their. It's their their th. It's their there. It's just just. It's there's th. It's just. It's just just just just. It's just. It's th. It's just. It's just. It's just. It's just just just just. It's the th. It's th. It's the th. It's the th. I th. I the thee. I the. I the the. I the the. Just. I the. Just. the the. Just. I th. Seven, seven is solid. I think the pacing is a little off in it. I think there's some draggy bit. There's a lot, I think with the tradees, it's wall-to-wall action and then you get to the Brooke scenes and you're like, come on, dog. That's totally how I felt. As well as feeling like I still don't know what's going on. I was also bored. Yeah. Wait, I'm going back to, I'm going to nine. Oh shit! Because I was a bit bored with Brooke. I was like scenes, not Brooke herself, just
Starting point is 01:04:50 the scenes were, were before there. Yes, Brooke got like short shrift on this. I agree. I should have gotten like, I would have been totally okay with Brooke being my hero. 100%. Yeah. Barry could have been in the background just Flex it and stuff Barry will never be in the background J. Gallagher the man's name is Jay Gallagher Brooke of little Benny's name is Leon Burchill just by the way because he was brilliant I really really enjoyed him. He was so funny. Well Brooke Bianca Brady heck of a name and her barely shirt would be the be the star of my movie. the the the star of my movie. the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the back's the back's the the back's the back's the back's the back's in the back's the back's the back's the back's the back's the back's the back's the back's the back's the back's the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the Heck of a name. And her barely shirt would be the be the star of my movie. All right, all right. She could push a bullet back out of her titty. Come on. That is pretty cool. I liked the whiplash between like comedy and gory and I run like that whiplash but then I didn't love the whiplash between the really fast scenes to the back of the truck.
Starting point is 01:05:45 Yeah. It was too, that one was too much. Yeah. And it's almost like they wanted to write a TV show but crammed it all into a movie and it like, there was too much going on. Yeah, pretty sure that we got? Yes. I am not going to give this person's name because I don't want to put them into any sort of hippo situation. Okay, well, give them a fake name.
Starting point is 01:06:11 Um, uh, Jane Eyre. Jane Eyre writes. No, what I was expecting you to go with that. I'm an 85-year-old woman. All right, all right, all right. Case in point. Tom Hardy-Fucker 69. 420. Today I had a patient...
Starting point is 01:06:32 You're already giggling. Today I had a patient come to the O.R. with a bowel obstruction. Oh damn. When the bowel obstructs it's like a garden hose getting kinked off. Or maybe more accurately, like one of those really long balloons getting twisted into a balloon poodle by a clown. I love this email so much. The bowel gets really swollen, full of gas and pressurized.
Starting point is 01:06:56 So when we go to make the belly incision, it's kind of like a gag gift, snakes and a can situation. Oh, okay. And because I've been binging a bingeru to a balloon. It's, it this this this this this this this this this this this this. It's, it, it, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's like, it's, it's, it's is is, it's is like, it's is like, it's is like, it's is is like, it's is like, it's is, it's is, it's is, it's is, it's is, it's is, it's is, it's is, it's is, it's is, it's is, it's is, it's is, it's is, it's is, it's is like, it's is like, it's is like, it's like, it's like, it's like, it's like, it's like, it's like, it's like, it's like, it's like, it's like, it's like, it's like, it's like, it's like, it's like, it's like, it's like, it's like, it's like, it's like, it's like, it's like, it's like, it's like, snakes in a can situation. Oh, okay. And because I've been binging wherewelf ambulance, I immediately blurted out. Oh no, his hot dogs fell out. I'm sorry. And now my O.R. crew, or at least as weird as I am, have adopted this terminology. Oh my God. Thank you for bringing this into our lives, and I'm hoping I've converted at least to some
Starting point is 01:07:30 of them into listeners. Have a lovely Juneteenth. Oh my God. Jane Eyre. Dr. to Jane Air. Medicine woman. Thank you so much for writing in and thank you so much for spreading the good word of wearable ambience. This hot dogs fell out.
Starting point is 01:07:46 Oh my God. Every time I've been under for any sort of like operate like a colonosca or whatever, I'm just sure that there's just shenanigans about going on. How else do they get through? Yeah, I mean, what else? Yeah, just make it some... I would be like puppeteering, you know. Putting a little tiny folded newspaper hat on your tip of a penis. Yeah. Why not?
Starting point is 01:08:14 I'm a major general with a look at my little penis general. Why not? Let's hope it's a little less that. I think that's fine. Totally a buff board. Oh, I'm fine. No. Thank you so much Jane Eyre for that. Oh, they brought me so much joy.
Starting point is 01:08:38 Yeah, that's really good. Just the idea of your intestines being like a balloon animal made by a clown. Yeah, it's visceral too. Yeah, that's really descriptive. Yeah. Oh man. Hi, thank you so much for being here. Thanks for having me.
Starting point is 01:08:54 Where if people wanted to follow you and get more of you, where can they find you on the internet? I have an Instagram at P.Loves Plants. It's P.Y.E. It's P.Y. I didn't realize was the actual title of the movie, The First Omen. It's on the blue. What if before the Antichrist, there was an Antichrist with this movie presupposes. But don't burn it now. I will say that that prequel to the orphan movie was so fucking good that I will always now go
Starting point is 01:09:40 watch any of these prequel films in the hopes. Yeah. That, what was that lady's name? Who was an actor in the early 2000s and then came back for that movie? Oh, fuck, the mom in that movie. Julia Stiles. Julia Stiles. Who was in the Omen, right? Yeah.
Starting point is 01:09:56 She was in the Omen remake? Yes. Julia, two degrees of Julia Stiles. She's a hero. She's a hero. Oh, that movie was so good. It was so good. You know what though, I got a lot of heat after that episode because I said something about Juliana Theory being a local band and people were like, I heard of them in Iowa. And it was like, all right, man.
Starting point is 01:10:15 Relax. They're from in Pittsburgh. Yeah. So come back next week for the first Omen. When do you say the first Omen I keep thinking we're doing like the original movie? Yeah, I think it's bad marketing on their part. Not the Richard Donner Omen movie but the most current Omen movie. We did that. He did that already. Did we did that already. Did we did. the the the the the the th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. thi. Oh. Oh. Oh. Oh. Oh. Oh. Oh. Oh. Oh. Oh. Oh. Oh. Oh......................................................... the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. Did we do the Julia Stiles remake? I don't think so. Oh, see, that's where I'm confused. Hey, we did. Who knows? We've done like almost 500. No, we've done 500 of these. We've done.
Starting point is 01:10:50 What are we going to do for a number 500? What are we going to do for 500? I don't know. that for 300. It was very funny. All right, well on that note, Patreon.com.
