Starting point is 00:00:01 Caney. Alan. I have a question for you. I hopefully have an answer. Have you ever had an Egyptian feast? I have not. Egyptian feast. Those brows are on fleak dog.
Starting point is 00:00:38 Okay. Why didn't they just get a gray-haired man to play this role? Because for four seconds later in the movie, he needs to be young. You're right. Wouldn't it have been easier to get a gray-haired man and put him? mascara in his eyebrows. Nope. You need Mal Arnold to be all up in that thing playing
Starting point is 00:00:57 Huad Ramseys. Huad Ramsey's. No relation or relation. He's apparently eternal. He's eternal. I hope that if I am eternal, I would not have gray hair. I accept my gray hair as an indication that one day I will die. And then I die it because I don't want that day to come just yet.
Starting point is 00:01:19 It's the gift of a Lovitar that he gave to men but not to elves. Yeah. So I've been so fucking deep in Tolkien lately that I'm annoying myself. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. A gift of what?
Starting point is 00:01:33 The gift of death, the sweet release of death. Oh, yeah. Yeah. Elves got to live forever. Also. That's nice. So fucking nightmare. Yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 00:01:41 But also, why do they get to be like 40 and then stop aging? Yeah. I mean, like, does that mean that live Tyler has not? yet not yet reached 40? I don't know. Or is she like a hundred and billion? Yeah, yeah. And just pouty, pouty, pouty lips.
Starting point is 00:01:56 Oh, beautiful lips. Yeah. Kill a man. For those lips? Oh, yeah. I don't think you need to kill a man. You just need to. Fillers look weird.
Starting point is 00:02:04 Sure. Yeah. Sure. Sure. Ors are just like that. Yeah. That's because Stephen Tyler's your dad. You got no choice.
Starting point is 00:02:11 I know. I know. My father doesn't have cushiony lips. He's a bald with a ponytail. Pillow lips. Pillow lips. Yeah. He's got a drinking problem.
Starting point is 00:02:22 Thanks for that one. He's got a pillowy liver. Yeah, dude. So, Katie. Alan. What are we talking about this week? We're talking about the 1963 landmark gore film Blood Feast.
Starting point is 00:02:38 Blood Feast. I almost watched the 1972 film Blood Feast, which I think might also be Night of A 1000 Cats. Oh, really? I think they might be the same movie. And then I felt like, All of my horror world had come full circle, and I've seen everything that there is to see. Apparently, Stephen King has said this is the worst horror movie he's ever seen, and I'm just like, sir.
Starting point is 00:02:59 Buddy, I saw fucking that one with the trucks. Max and Overdrive. Cocaine, the film. Cocaine and trucks. A boy's dream. Cocaine and trucks and anestimus. And that funny, funny mask. This is by far not the worst horror movie.
Starting point is 00:03:17 Oh my God, no. It's fucking brilliant. I feel like we've seen, I feel like we've seen worse movies in the last month. Sure. Sure. I can't remember what we've done, but I know I hated one of them.
Starting point is 00:03:29 What did I hate? I don't know. For a reason. You hated it too. Oh, um, fuck, it wasn't,
Starting point is 00:03:37 hold on. Hold on. Are we okay? No. I should stop smoking weed, I think. I should start. You could clear my brain. Oh,
Starting point is 00:03:48 uh, was it, No, it's Faces of Death. We fucking hated faces of death. It was like, it was the most recent movie we did. What was that face of death? Fucking garbage. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:03:57 I was worried that by giving it two stinky names that someone was going to give it two points. Yeah, no, no, no, no, no. The worst. This movie opens on a woman preparing to take a bath. She's just going to relax with a book in the bathtub as you like to do. I love to. What book is she reading? What book is she?
Starting point is 00:04:16 Hold on. Before we get to what she's reading, she's reading. here's a radio broadcast about a young girl being found dead, badly mutilated, and that all women are meant to stay in after dark. Uh-huh. Feels like victim-blaming, but okay. Yeah. And if you guys could wear a little bit longer skirts, that would help to.
Starting point is 00:04:35 Yeah. If you guys could not dress like such horrors, oh, God, fucking America. Anyway. Fucking fictitious 1963, Miami. Yeah, well. Yeah, well. Florida man murders a whole bunch of women. Why is this always in Florida?
Starting point is 00:04:51 Faces of Death was in Florida too. There's such a step up from this is this This movie ends with a beach as garbage dump and it's still a better like Representation of Florida. It's a dump but it appears to be a new dump But what is she reading? She is reading. A book called Ancient Weird religious rights.
Starting point is 00:05:13 Why would it be? If it was called ancient religious rights, you'd be like, that's fine. 100% makes sense. Why would it be ancient weird religious rights? It feels like one of those like time life books they would advertise on TV like ancient weird religious rights. But also like. Find out about what that little biscuit at church is really standing for. Jesus is peep as far as I know.
Starting point is 00:05:36 They're just slices of his peep. Right? His pants salami. Yeah, his pants salami. It's vegetarian though. I just, I wonder what got cut. that were ancient religious rights that weren't weird enough to make the cut. Sure.
Starting point is 00:05:53 Yeah. Voodoo. Did that make the cut? Oh, not ancient enough. Not ancient enough. You're right. That's modern. You're right.
Starting point is 00:06:00 Also, why we find out later that possessing this book is the instigating thing that will make him come to your house and kill you. How many young, beautiful, big-titted women have written to him to get a cash-on-delivery copy of ancient weird religious rights? one of them also a playmate model which I felt like brought it full circle with our love of a hard ticket to Hawaii you know what I might watch tonight at Malibu Express I think I might get super super stoned
Starting point is 00:06:31 remember how I said I was gonna stop smoking weed that was a lie that was in the past that's yesterday Katie you you practically tried to rate me that was last night this is today
Starting point is 00:06:43 if you have join the Patreon listen to hard ticket to Hawaii then leave the patron. That's what you need. Yeah, that's fine. Give us your $5 and then get out. Download every episode, actually, that's there.
Starting point is 00:06:55 And then you can get out. Hot tip. Hot tip on a financial savings. That's right. That's my job. She strips down for her bath. And I was like, are we going to see a boob? It's like, it's like teaser titties.
Starting point is 00:07:07 Yeah. Yeah, Titty fake out. But you're like, 1963. Of course, it's a teaser tit. They're not going to give me a full titty. They do give me a full titty. Well, those are sad titties. Sure, post death.
Starting point is 00:07:16 Also, the score at this point, point, okay, the score of this movie is two things. Yeah. Which is either tuning a drum kit or playing the organ at a baseball game. And occasionally, occasionally, both at once. Score of the film done by writer and director, Herschel Gordon Lewis. Uh-huh. Should have probably hired someone.
Starting point is 00:07:38 Why? When you could save money and do it yourself. Just tune that drum kit. You know what? He is famous in the not horror movie world for doing. What? Direct marketing. he's the reason you get...
Starting point is 00:07:50 Oh, he's the junk mail guy. He's the reason the United States Postal Service still exists, because that really supports basically. In the 80s, 70s and 80s, he wrote so many books on doing direct marketing. Good for him. It's like, the real horror is landfills. Yeah, as this movie, yeah. Advow asks, have you seen me?
Starting point is 00:08:10 Remember those? Advo asks, have you seen me? Yeah. So he stabs her in the eye in the top. This fella comes in. this fellow with very realistic gray hair comes in. Oh my God. It's blue.
Starting point is 00:08:21 He looks like Marge Simpson. It's so good. I love that this movie's in color, by the way. Yeah, was it originally not? Was it later colorized? It was always going to be in color because he always wanted to be. The blood. So the reason H.G.L. did this movie is he saw Psycho and was like,
Starting point is 00:08:38 fucking Hitchcock cheaped out by not showing us killing these women. Yeah. Fair. So he was like, it's going to be in color. And I'm going to show you me murdering all of these women. graphic as fuck. Yeah. So,
Starting point is 00:08:49 in 1963, pretty wild. Sure. I mean, what? Night of the Living Dead was, what, 68? Yeah, it was a lot. It was a little bit. And they did that all in black and white
Starting point is 00:08:57 so they could get past sensors. Right. So it's not all bloody. I'm sure there were other financial reasons why they did black and white as well. But he was like determined to have it in like super bright color. I want to tell you that Commonwealth Press is selling playing cards. And one of the face cards are all like famous Pittsburghers. And one of them is George.
Starting point is 00:09:17 Romero. Oh, very sweet. Very sweet. So he comes in with a machete, but does a very accurate eye removal from this woman. It's her eye, her meat. I thought, oh my God, her meat is everywhere, but I think it's just her eye meat. And I didn't think there's that much meat behind your eye. It seems like it's a cavity.
Starting point is 00:09:34 One wouldn't think. When you push on your eyeball, like as hard as you can, it goes back. And then you get all those bright spots. You get to see the pictures. And I like that you did it. Right now. Yeah, I'm a fucking adult. But yeah, we see her sad titties, and then he just like lightly taps on her to dismember her.
Starting point is 00:09:54 We see it from behind. Tons of blood. Tons of blood. And then we cut to a still photo of the sphinx in the Great Pyramid. We get the title sequence, and I love that the blood feast is done in dripping blood. It's cute. It's really cute. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:10:12 Because he's just like, I wanted blood. We need blood. Blood. This is a blood movie. You little blood bitch. We cut to the cops Shit ass cops Seven killings in two weeks
Starting point is 00:10:22 That's a lot Yeah Bring in the FBI They existed in 1963 Uh huh Yeah They should come in and help you with this Florida
Starting point is 00:10:30 Is this where like Psycho killers Getting like somebody who could kill 32 people And no one gives a shit It's unbelievable Unbelievable God that movie was wretched too
Starting point is 00:10:40 Yeah It really was But at least it was silly Yeah Like faces of death Had nothing redeeming about it good for us, no. So,
Starting point is 00:10:49 uh, the cops are shit. They're like Ed Wood level shit cops. They're terrible. One of them says something like, towards the end of the scene. I can't remember what he's talking about, but he goes one of these long,
Starting point is 00:11:01 hard ones. Like, is that a double entendre while we're talking about women being murdered? Is it? He may even be a single entangra. Yeah, maybe. Gross.
Starting point is 00:11:12 Is what I want to say to that. Gross. And he also at one point says, it's just a homicidal maniac. Just. Just. What could be worse? We have to make sure every woman in this town hears these broadcasts. Oh my God.
Starting point is 00:11:28 How do you do that? How do you do that? Cut to Fulad Ramsey's exotic catering. He's a caterer. We've already seen the killer. So when we show up at Fulad Ramsey's exciting exotic catering, he's our killer is working behind the counter. I feel this was a mistake.
Starting point is 00:11:47 I would have liked at least a red herring, you know. I would have liked to have believed for a while that Pete, the older lover cop, could have been the killer. Katie, we got 67 minutes to fucking end this movie. And 30 of it are going to be people walking. Why is it 67 minutes long?
Starting point is 00:12:04 What else are going to do? I mean, plenty of serial killer movies are the fucking Zodiac. Zodiac took all day. I love. Yes. But comparing a David Fincher script to our Herschel Gordon-Lewis. So, like, Fuad Ramsey's is working in what is ostensibly supposed to be like a North African, Middle Eastern, like, store for this catering.
Starting point is 00:12:29 So he's got a bunch of products behind them. Sure. And he's like a salams. Yes. And there's a very... For a different region. Very... You can cut that because it means nothing to anyone but you.
Starting point is 00:12:38 I'm so sorry. It's right. It's... You know, so it's got all these, like, exotic tea boxes and all this stuff. And then right behind him is the most exotic food of all. Just cans of oatmeal. Yeah. Look, every culture likes oatmeal.
Starting point is 00:12:52 It's cheap. It sticks to your bones. Yeah, it helps you get regular. Yeah, it makes you poop. So, this woman comes in, Mrs. Fremont. This bitch. Excuse me. This bitch.
Starting point is 00:13:03 She fucking rules. She sucks. She wants a... She's looking for an unusual, affair for her daughter's. Her daughter, Suzette. Two daughters, Suzette. Susette is the playmate model that was mentioned earlier.
Starting point is 00:13:18 Yes, who is dating the older cop daddy boyfriend. Smush face. Smush face. Ugh. Why is it like that? So Fuad Ramsey says, oh, an unusual affair. Have you ever had an Egyptian feast? Now, this begs the question.
Starting point is 00:13:35 The fuck is an Egyptian feast? No. This begs the question. He's been running this Egyptian. catering business for how long? This is his first opportunity to do an Egyptian feast. Well, no, because Ms. Dupree, who told Ms. Fremont to come down here, has already had this going on for it. Why this time? Did she say no to the Egyptian feast? She's like, no, can we just have hot dogs? Like, what? Why this time? Why this? I have to believe he's catered other events with like
Starting point is 00:14:06 traditional, authentic Egyptian food, not an Egyptian feast. Is it just because Ms. Freeman? Is it just because Miss Fremont's a bitch? Well, I think it's because he's already starting on this, like, murder spree to being Ishtar back. Why now? Yeah, 5,000 years. Yeah. Okay.
Starting point is 00:14:23 I don't know. Also, why? This is a problem I kept having during this movie, because I was feeling very bad about myself while I was watching this. It's just my new, my new state. My new perpetual state is really hating myself. Which reminds me of the best advice you gave me when we started this podcast, which is when we get bad criticism is that nobody can ever.
Starting point is 00:14:41 hate me as much as I hate myself, and that still warms my cockles to this day. Why can't I be the mother of the veil of darkness? Why do I have to be this? Why do I have to be a middle-aged white lady living in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania? Why can't I be the mother of the veil of darkness? Have you tried? I don't know where to begin. You've got to start a cult.
Starting point is 00:15:00 Okay. I've always felt like I'd be good at that, you know. Yeah, you got to... Because I'm not going to fuck my cult members. It's true. That's when you go downhill is when you start fucking them. Jim Jones could have gone forever if he hadn't started fucking them. True. I can't argue.
Starting point is 00:15:16 I was like, I was trying to think of I had a comeback argument, but I do not. That's when it goes downhill, it's when they start fucking their followers. Yeah, yeah. I got a rose. Someone recently asked me why we haven't gotten a rose sponsorship yet, because I will sing the praises of that baby all day long. Yeah, Rose get in touch. Yeah, Rose. Rosedoy.com. CN or whatever the fucking Chinese website is that sells them.
Starting point is 00:15:40 You could buy them now at CVS. An authentic rose? Yeah. Okay. Yeah. So if you guys are looking for something to rub on your bits. Go check it out. I mean, I might get a backup because the battery, my only complaint about the rose toy is that
Starting point is 00:15:56 the battery is not great. Not just that the life isn't great, but sometimes it just fucking dies. And then you have to get a new one. Oh, wow. I thought you were going to be like, and then your stupid fingers got to get involved. I would know. I'm worthless, Alan. Funny.
Starting point is 00:16:12 Anyway, he's got the shrine. He's got this shrine to Ishtar. But also, this is the only time he does this, but he has the power to hypnotize Ms. Fremont. Right. He hypnotizes her and she's like, yes, an Egyptian feast sounds perfect. But she came into the Egyptian caterer. Why does she need to be hypnotized?
Starting point is 00:16:31 Welcome to the Gap. You want to buy a pair of jeans. Yes, I came here for that for your well-fitting jeans that last forever. Where are you at Gap? Why aren't you sponsoring us? This is the actual feast of an ancient pharaoh that has not been served for 5,000 years. Incredible. Incredible. The Ishtar shine looks like shit.
Starting point is 00:16:54 It's fucking terrible. The Ishtar statue is... It's so duky. It's just a mannequin. It's a gold spray-painted mannequin that somebody, like, painted eyes on but did a real shit job. So, like, one, it's like, she's wonky-eyed. It goes into what looks like a walk-in, freezer, but is his back room of destruction and death and worship.
Starting point is 00:17:15 Sure, where he does his bad stuff. Yeah. He's got the goddess Ishtar. I just keep having notes about our playmate being Connie Mason. We've got a playmate in this movie. I'm very excited. Founded in some woods porn. We cut to Connie Mason and she's out on the street.
Starting point is 00:17:33 I think it's Connie Mason. Somebody's out on the street and sees a newspaper headline. The tiny font across the top says, teenage girl found slaughtered. The huge type says Legs cut off! Do you want to start a band with me called legs cut off? Yes.
Starting point is 00:17:54 Great. Legs cut off. Legs cut off. Legs cut off. We cut to Tony and his girlfriend. Tony sucks. Yeah. Now prove you love me is a thing Tony says while forcing this woman to have
Starting point is 00:18:10 physical contact with him. Don't worry. That won't end well for either of them. He comes out just fine. He gets conked on the head. Tony takes a little... We've all gotten conked on the head, Alan. How many concussions have you had? Too many. Yeah, me too. We didn't even really do sports. I'm pretty sure I gave myself one once by picking up the bass guitar I was playing and hitting myself in the head.
Starting point is 00:18:36 Absolutely. Yeah. I told someone once that I had a bunch of concussions in college and they said, oh, I didn't realize you were an athlete. And I said, I just had a drinking problem and fell down a lot. It's true. All the time. Funny. Can't drop into a bowl on a skateboard. I don't know how to skateboard.
Starting point is 00:18:53 You can drop it. You just can't land it. Oh, I dropped. Stupid Polish hill bowl. So, yes, this is where I have the note that says adult teens necking on the beach. Yeah, adult teens. Tony is 35 if he's a day. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:19:09 So, uh, I also know that says this dud won't let anyone hurt you. Tony sucks. Yeah, he's like, oh, I'll protect you.
Starting point is 00:19:18 Bullshit. Yeah. He's no protection at all. Touch my wiener. So Fouad shows up, waxed Tony on the head, and then, uh,
Starting point is 00:19:27 gets all the giblets out of, uh, this lady. I was very worried that he was going to drop the meat in the sand. You don't want the meat to go in sand. No, because you don't want to serve sandy meat to your guests of the Egyptian feast. Ischard would not approve.
Starting point is 00:19:39 No. We've also seen the cops who have figured out the one clue they have so far is that one of the people murdered was in a book club. Right. And they're like, book club? What the fuck is it a book? Is it a book that you hit people with? What's a book club? Book club.
Starting point is 00:20:00 It's a book club. Then where you say book club, the less it sounds like a thing. It's like Pontypool. Ponti Pool. Yeah. We're just losing word. Book club. Apparently they're making a sequel to Pontypool.
Starting point is 00:20:13 I feel like it did its part. I don't feel like we need another one. You don't remember. I don't think I liked that one very much. No, I don't think you did either. Oh, real quick, we always have Thai West updates about how we're feeling about Thai West. Oh. And I have a new information that may color the way we feel about Thai West.
Starting point is 00:20:32 Is he Zionist? Remember when you accused him of being a Zionist and then I Googled it and he wasn't? Yes. Is he now? No. Okay. He is doing a new Christmas Carol. Oh.
Starting point is 00:20:44 Guess who he casts as Ebenezer Scroo? I can't even. Wilm Defoe. No. Let's just say he may have killed Nama. Johnny Depp. Jonathan Depp. Don't say he may have.
Starting point is 00:20:56 He did. My grandmother is dead. She'd be 102 this year. It's probably right that she's dead. He killed my grandma. I know. She raised me. She did such a good job.
Starting point is 00:21:09 She did. You turned out amazing. So, yeah, he's... He's... He's friends with John Depp. So that might color how we feel about Tyler. I wish he'd cast Willem DeFoe. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:21:22 I mean, everyone should just cast Willem DeFoe. He's here for fun. He's having a good time. Every role. Have you seen the trailer for the new werewolf movie? The new Eggers. Wait, tell me about it. It just looks like a miserable Robert...
Starting point is 00:21:36 Or, yeah, Robert Eggers? Robert Eggers movie about a werewolf. I think I haven't. Actually, the young, Depp child is in this one, like she was in Nusferatu. Oh, I liked her in that, actually. She was fine. She seems to be willing to go for it, and I appreciate that. Good for her.
Starting point is 00:21:51 But Willem Defoe is in this, and it looks like he's having another very good time with being a fucking weirdo. I look forward to discussing it with you on this year podcast. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. So, um... So there's some fun gore in this scene where he's taking her giblets. Yeah. But then there's also a big snake? Uh-huh.
Starting point is 00:22:09 Where'd that snake come from? Do you like that someone is dragging that snake off screen? Because as we know, snakes don't back up. I didn't think they could go backwards. And if they could, I'd be much more afraid of them. I love, we've done two movies recently with snakes in them, Hard Ticket to Hawaii and this. And in both of them, they have snakes reversing.
Starting point is 00:22:27 Oh, my God. Thank you for reminding me how much I loved the snake and hard ticket to Hawaii. I think I might do a double feature tonight. Oh, I love that. I might rewatch that along with Malibu Express. I'm going to need a lot of weed. Apparently Malibu Express is. the first movie.
Starting point is 00:22:41 I'll do it correctly. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah, I mean, you want to get the full linear storytelling. Because there's a third one after that. I forget what it's called. Yeah, I don't know. The boobs, broads and bosoms or whatever trilogy. Boats, maybe.
Starting point is 00:22:57 Boats. Boats. Bouts. One of the cops is just jiggling Tony. As Tony says, it's all my fault. He just is jiggling him like you might jiggle a baby to get it to stop crying. Tony, we need you to talk while you're crying. So if you could just go,
Starting point is 00:23:15 I'm having a real hard time with all of this. Cut you back at the police station. Oh, Marcy is the woman who was murdered. Yes. Her dad says that she only went out with Tony. She wasn't a real cat about. She wasn't a real catabout. That's a killer phrase.
Starting point is 00:23:36 Catabout. Catabout. I love it. It's like slut But without slut shaming Yeah It's just implying that your daughter's out of the street going Raw
Starting point is 00:23:48 That bitch is in heat Mrs. Franklin was given the same direction This is the mother of the murder And she's just going I can't believe my daughter's death And then The cop says Mrs. Franklin, what do you know about this crime?
Starting point is 00:24:13 Why would she know anything? Would she know anything? Women have to do everything. Seriously, stop asking us to know and do everything. I'm so tired. Was your daughter a member of any groups? No, she... Well, she was on a book club list.
Starting point is 00:24:33 Yeah. Like a waiting list to get into the book club? Like, like a list? you put me on the list for a show because you're my rock star friend exactly exactly do you put me on that list oh i mean yeah i will as soon as we get the up the capability to do that um i put joe on there too yeah yeah so we cut to fuad cooking and dry ice yes always cooking and dry ice i don't know go on he's just cook it for ishtar cook it for ishtar it's gonna bring ishtar back uh now we get two drunk people making out in a gigantic car
Starting point is 00:25:08 Okay. One of them's wearing a captain's hat, which I feel like if you can pull it off is always a good look. Okay, I think I assumed it was a boat. It parks at a motel. I have written, is this just a drunk lady on a boat? Because fucking cruises, man. Am I wrong? It wasn't a boat.
Starting point is 00:25:26 It was a motel. It was a fucking car. It was a land yacht. Okay. Oh, that's right. They show it like for a really long time driving and then pulling into a parking spot. I remember now. Maybe I thought it was a Marine.
Starting point is 00:25:38 I don't know. He's wearing a captain's hat. I didn't know. He's got to be on a boat. You don't wear that if you're not naval. I went and saw that fucking Odyssey movie and in no point does Odysseus have a captain's hat on, so I don't know if he's on a boat or not. Did you enjoy it?
Starting point is 00:25:54 I'm going to see it next week. Yeah, yeah, I did. Great. Yeah. It's a two booze slushy movie, huh? That long? Two hours and 51 minutes? I'm going to have to bring two slushies.
Starting point is 00:26:04 I definitely had to pee. I just like, I was like, oh, this is going to be a talk. walking scene. Yeah. One pee. There's like an app you can get that tells you when the best time to pee during a movie is. That's like we're the least consequential parts. Okay.
Starting point is 00:26:17 I did feel like there should have been an intermission. Like everybody go pee real quick. Go go. Yeah. Like the two VHS version of the Godfather. Exactly. Yeah. So these two people are drunk and there's cello music being played that I'm pretty sure is doing
Starting point is 00:26:32 like how dry I am, but like the like library music version. they don't have to pay royalties for it. I don't know it. I don't know it. I can't say. You never watched Bugs Bunny cartoons when you were a kid? Of course, but I don't know the names of the songs. How dry I am.
Starting point is 00:26:52 How wet I'll be if I don't find somewhere to be that whole thing. Oh. That better be in the public domain or you just got us sued. I have some note that says this guy has Torgo legs. Yeah. It does have to work. He's walking. He's walking.
Starting point is 00:27:12 I don't watch that too. That's a fucking banger movie too. People say that's the worst movie ever made. They're wrong. It's also a great episode of mystery science theater. Perfect episode of mystery science theater. So yeah, there's like drunken cello being played and then we see Fooah on the move going to this lady. Going for the tongue with two fingers is a look.
Starting point is 00:27:34 She doesn't like bite down or anything. She's just like, yeah, have it. She just goes, ah, ah, and he rips her fucking tongue out of her mouth. Is that how big a motherfucking tongue is? They're pretty big. They're pretty big. I want you to know that at this point in the movie, I tried to see if I could reach how far back my tongue goes. I could not.
Starting point is 00:27:55 Did you try to sticking two fingers in your mouth for a long time? Well, no, because that would give me a grip. I wanted to get a sense of the distance. Yeah. Sense of the distance. I couldn't get it. I got to the first knuckle and I was like there was still more tongue. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:28:12 Yeah. How about that? And a gag reflex. So watch yourself. Let me tell you something about me. So it's a sheep's tongue that he pulls out of her mouth. I see. But it's also very funny.
Starting point is 00:28:28 Would that kill you? I feel like it probably wouldn't. Oh, I don't know. I think you'd go. It could. I mean, a blood loss. Instantly? Instantly, she's dead.
Starting point is 00:28:36 Shock? Yeah, maybe shock. Have you ever, like, if you do, if you've cut your tongue, I'm sure, at some point. Yeah, of course. Like, it fucking bleeds. Yeah. So if you pull the whole goddamn thing out.
Starting point is 00:28:46 That's a lot of blood. Yeah, that's a lot of blood. The next thing about this movie that I realized in this scene is that we don't have to learn about characters. Just Suzette, her mom, the murderer, and like a cop or two. Yeah, yeah, yeah. There's no other characters. They introduce them.
Starting point is 00:28:59 They kill them. We care not. You don't even need to know about the characters they introduced to you. No. Like anybody. It's great. Yeah. other than remembering the name Fooad Ramsey's,
Starting point is 00:29:10 and who could ever forget that fucking name? That's in my head for the rest of my life. So I also thought that the mouth blood looked really cool. She did a really good job of not showing that she still had a tongue while pushing blood at her mouth. Yeah, it looked empty. She did great. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 00:29:24 Great mouth actor. They always said that about her. So we're back with a mom and, and Suzette. that butcher, that maniac, that maniac butcher, butchering all those young girls. Yeah. There's a Polish black metal band called Maniac Butcher. Of course there is.
Starting point is 00:29:49 And they have their own record label. And I can only assume the name of their record label is, English is not your first language. Because it's called pussy god records. Pussy god records. I don't hate it. I assume they're saying the gods a pussy. And not that they're saying, I am the pussy god.
Starting point is 00:30:07 Exactly. That's fair. I think you can say I am the pussy god. And this is my record label. We're making records. I'm the pussy god records. Pussy god records. Anyway, that's your little maniac butcher factoid. Peace you're ever on Jeopardy. So tonight, we're going to a weekly lecture on ancient history. I thought Suzette was studying Egyptology in college. She's not. She's not. She's just like hanging out at lecture circuits. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:30:40 Because this felt like some pretty basic shit to learn at college if you were studying Egyptology. Sure. When fucking Kirkland's signature brand Henry Kissinger comes to teach you about Egyptian culture. Yeah. He talks about Ishtar. And Suzette is at this with her man friend. I'm not going to call him her boyfriend because he's a fucking grown-ass man. The age gap between them is upsetting.
Starting point is 00:31:02 It's very absurd. I don't understand why her mom isn't more upset that he's the mom's age. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Well, he's got a good stable job. You know, that's all you want for Suzette. You don't let your daughter date cops.
Starting point is 00:31:14 No daughter of mine. So we get into the sacrificial shit. Yeah. To which this is still, I'm upset about not being the mother of the veil of darkness instead of being a middle-aged white lady because I'm like, I don't get 20 fucking virgins. I get to stand in line at Aldi, you know. I'm calling bullshit on some of these women being virgins. You know, I was thinking about that for Dr. Fuad, not Dr.
Starting point is 00:31:37 I was thinking about that for Fouad Ramsey. Is he assuming these people are a virgin? Yeah, yeah, yeah. Because like, Trudy later, I don't think that. I saw her shaking and shimmy in that pool. She knows what she's doing. Yeah, she knows what she's doing. So while this fucking Kirkland signature brand,
Starting point is 00:31:57 Henry Kissinger is explaining what's going on, what's going on. In front of great hieroglyphics wallpaper. Oh my gosh. So good. And then like, these like, shit-ass, like, house decorations of Egyptian stuff. Yeah, yeah, totally. That are also painted to look like Egyptians were the whitest race of people that ever
Starting point is 00:32:15 exixes on the fucking planet. Just like Jesus, Egyptians are white. Desert, everybody. Desert. So we get a flashback to a white ladies with a 1960s haircut laying on an altar in ancient Egypt. Yeah, why? Being sacrificed to Ishtar by a young Fuad Ramses. Right.
Starting point is 00:32:38 Who's wearing a delightful, chunky, bankle bracelet. Yeah, he looks great. He's really, you know, he's committed to the bit is Ramsey's. His eyebrows are not gray, but they are just like fucking Kim Novak painted onto his face and giant points. You know, on Reddit, you get like recommended subreddits that they think you'll enjoy. One I've been getting recommended for years is Y-Brows. Oh, okay.
Starting point is 00:33:07 W-H-Y brows. Yeah. I feel like he is right at home there. Sure. Yeah, sure. I often get suggested, just fuck my shit up. Yes, I like, just fuck my shit up. So the flashback, we see this lady murdered by Fouad Ramsey, he of the eyebrows.
Starting point is 00:33:24 Right. And then we cut, well, when she's being murdered, there's a, waw. Sad trombone? Yes, who got the sad trombone? So fucking weird. The score is so fucking weird. Just put music on it. Who gives a shit? Music doesn't do anything in movies. So the cop is driving his child bride home. And she, like, this is where I wish there had been a red herring of like him being the killer.
Starting point is 00:33:57 Sure. Because they're so ill-matched. But also, she's been, she stares at him. him the entire time he's driving, which would be so fucking nerve-wracking? Can you imagine if the person in your passenger seat was just turned 90 degrees facing you the entire time you were driving? You've ridden with me before I demand it. I want you to make sure I don't do anything wrong.
Starting point is 00:34:22 She also, to add to her looking like a child, she has swaddled her head because they're in a convertible car so her hair won't blow around. She looks like a teeny tiny baby child. And he's saying something like, oh, I shouldn't have you out with this murderer on the loose. And she's like, I'm not afraid when you're with me. Like, you should be afraid of him. He's a predator. He's grooming you.
Starting point is 00:34:40 He literally said, you should be more afraid of me than you are of the killer. And I was like, this is just, yes, this is him telling you the truth. Yes. Look up the statistics for domestic violence of police officers. Yeah. Yeah. So I'm going to drive you home. And then he takes her to a makeout spot.
Starting point is 00:34:58 And they're like, it's a beautiful night. And I thought, is it night? I really thought it was daytime. Because it was the second before it was daytime and now it's night time. I see. And then he gets a call. Yeah. And he's got to go.
Starting point is 00:35:10 He doesn't get a call. The radio's on and they cut it into the music. You're right. And it's like, the killer has killed again. He's like, oh my God, I have to go. And she's like, oh, Pete, why can't you finger bang me instead of investigating that woman's murder? Everybody wants to get fingered. It's true.
Starting point is 00:35:27 It's true. So they drive off. We're back at the station. and someone says Pronto and I got excited and wrote down Pronto. I feel like people don't say Pronto enough anymore. No, people don't. Do that for me. Pronto.
Starting point is 00:35:37 There's a place in Pittsburgh called Pizza Pronto. There is. It's got my favorite sign on Earth, which is a painting of a bunch of animals working at pizza pronto. And one of them... I don't even know where this is going and I'm already laughing. Well, the sign says, hot treats you need at jackrabbit speed. Oh.
Starting point is 00:36:00 Oh, fuck. And one of the people making the pizza is a shapely bunny rabbit lady wearing like low-rise jeans so that her tail can stick out the top of the low-rise jeans. God. Where is pizza pronto? It's right across the street from the CVS right off of Craig in that little like strip of like shops. Yes. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah, because I used to dry bite every day and see that side.
Starting point is 00:36:28 I'd just be like, can I go in and offer them money for that sign? I will do anything to own this. Treat you need at Jack Rabbit Speed. Jack Rabbit Speed. It's like, oh, the common phrase we all use every day. When I think about Jack Rabbit Speed, I think about being unsatisfied. I think about me fucking at 15. 16, sorry, sorry, 16.
Starting point is 00:36:53 So in case anyone is actually out there documenting what I've said. It was 16. I wasn't 15. Fair enough. So. We codice Janet at the hospital. Yeah. You'd think they would sedate her,
Starting point is 00:37:12 but she's able to talk until her death. I thought she was going to be the tongue lady, because we haven't seen another death since then. No. But I guess he took Janet's face. He took her boogl fat? He took her boogel fat. Oh, like Anya Taylor Joy?
Starting point is 00:37:28 Ladies don't. Keep your fat. As a person who is getting older, I'm happy to have slightly chubby cheeks because it's keeping me looking younger. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I'm fucking tits to toast, bookl fat. I just like to say buckel fat.
Starting point is 00:37:46 Bucle fat. Bucle de Beppo. What's your name? Janet. Janet Blake. They should know that. They shouldn't have to ask her that. shouldn't have any idea.
Starting point is 00:37:59 Couldn't the doctors are faster when they were bandaging her fucking face so poorly that the blood is leaking through it? We were talking to the doctor earlier. You could see that he just got up from a nap because he has like a nest, like a bird's nest in the back of his head. Yeah. He was having a little sleepy time. She says,
Starting point is 00:38:15 E-Tar, E-Tar! And then she faints. No, she doesn't faint. She dies. So this stupid fucking piece of shit cop, Pete, has just been within the last 12 hours. Less than that.
Starting point is 00:38:31 He left that night. Two, he's, when he explains how he put it all together at the end, I wanted to set myself on fire. He has just been at a, a lecture about Ishtar.
Starting point is 00:38:48 And he hears the name, Eitar and goes, what fuck is that? Never, I can't, there's nothing, not ringing a bell. Oh, young women being sacrificed? No. What?
Starting point is 00:38:59 I'm hunting a serial killer of women, young ones? Nothing. Did you not go to detective school? He sucks. Cut to Fulad Ramsey getting another order for ancient weird religious rights. Don't worry, I googled it. It's not a real book. I wish.
Starting point is 00:39:16 You would be sitting on a copy of it right now. I would be, no, because I'd be dead. Why? Maybe like, wow, she's old and not a virgin. Or she fuchs. She fuchs. She got raw. She got a baby.
Starting point is 00:39:29 We have raw dog documentation. Although I've heard like toilet seats. You got to be careful out there. I got raw dogs. And then I got a baby. Humble brag. I was raw dog once nine years ago. Not ten years ago.
Starting point is 00:39:49 Coming up on ten. Ten year anniversary of me getting raw dogged. It's in the diary. I'm just doing the math. She was born on her due date, you know. Just circling her birthday nine months previous. Raw dog. Actually, I think it was on Halloween, which is so unbrand for me.
Starting point is 00:40:16 So he gets the order and he calls Trudy Sanders. And he's like, oh, can I speak to Trudy Sanders? Oh, she's at the Fremont residence? Uh-huh. Uh-huh. She is. She's at the Fremont residence. Talk,
Starting point is 00:40:30 why don't you just go murder all the people these people know? It would just cut out having to order books. You don't have to wait to get your order. We cut to Trudy at the Fremont Residence. Yeah, pool party. Pool party. I understand it's Florida. It's screened in to keep bugs out.
Starting point is 00:40:45 Yeah. But I also just thought like the net was there. I just kept thinking that it was like on a trampoline so they don't fall out because they seemed dumb enough to fall out. Oh, my God. Susette seems like there's, times where someone's like, Suzette, breathe! Oh, sorry, I forgot.
Starting point is 00:41:01 Oh, my God, I was turning blue. She keeps knocking over the sea shells. There's like conch shells next to where she just keeps knocking it over. Trudy's in there, just doing some water wiggling. I would not say that she's swimming. She's wiggling in the water. Just perfect tits on that woman. I'll tell you what.
Starting point is 00:41:20 Also, not that I did a Google on it, but Suzette's not doing so bad for herself. If you look at her playmate photographs. Oh, good for her. I just had this like thing of like, oh, they're in Playboy, cliggity, clackety, clickety, clickety, click on. I know. See, here's the problem with this being Florida.
Starting point is 00:41:35 Yeah. Florida is very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very flat. Mm-hmm. They are in a pool. Mm-hmm. Surrounded by open flat land, which we can see because we are also in the pool. Yeah. Seems like you'd see someone coming at you.
Starting point is 00:41:51 Fouad Ramsey's, as we will learn in just a few minutes after Trudy Sanders gets dressed and goes to go shopping. He can hide while standing directly in front of a tree where you can obviously see him and she cannot. I don't get it. Trudy Sanders says that like, was it, was it the T-Rex that couldn't see you in Jurassic Park unless you moved? Unless you move, yeah.
Starting point is 00:42:09 Yeah, so that's Trudy Sanders. Like, until you move, she cannot see you. Like, yes, if I ever let a man come up on me in the flat, hit me and knock me out, I feel like I had it coming. Katie. You got to have your wits about you. before Trudy Sanders leaves the pool party where she's a wiggling and a jiggling. All they can talk about is this cool party that Susette's mom is going to throw.
Starting point is 00:42:33 What kind of party is just going to be? She hasn't told me, but I have a suspicion. It's going to be an Egyptian feast. It's common everyday thing that we all know about. This movie passes the Bechdel test right here because these ladies are talking about Egypt and parties. So that's nice. Thank you, Herschel. And Trudy's like, I've got to go shopping.
Starting point is 00:42:52 Is it for the party? Is it just to go get some groceries? I don't know. I don't know. Then Fua just knocks her ass out and carries her away. We cut to Pete, the cop, who's sitting at the desk in the police station. He opens a notebook and just does nothing. Perhaps go out.
Starting point is 00:43:09 Is this when he called Suzette? Yeah, he finds out the Trudy's missing. Yeah. And he's like, oh, that's Suzette's friend. He also does the unfortunate phone acting thing where he doesn't pause long enough to get the information that he's repeating. Yeah. He just keeps talking over her. I like that quite a bit.
Starting point is 00:43:26 Don't worry, Sus, that's still going to have the party, even though her friend got kidnapped. I feel like maybe don't. Like, there's a serial killer on the loose, and Trudy went missing hours ago. Maybe just, like, put a pin in it. You mean that butcher, maniac, maniac butcher that's killing all these women? Pussy God records. Pussy God records. So, cut to the snake and Fuad Ramsey's making food.
Starting point is 00:43:50 Yeah, they're working together. He's got a little hairnet on. Fuhat has it on his hair and his eyebrows. The snake has a tiny one. You don't have hair, buddy. And Fulat, he just wants to fit in. And Fua is saying, like, and now we add the flavors. Which are blood.
Starting point is 00:44:08 Flavors of blood. The flavors of blood. For Ishtar. Where does he go to catch Trudy Sanders' blood? He's hitting her with like an electrical cable or a cat of nine tails or something. Yeah, that's dipped in paint so that it looks like blood's hitting her. back. Unfortunately, it's so long that it tries on her back and you can see it's not actually cutting her.
Starting point is 00:44:26 Yeah. I just feel, yeah, if you want to collect blood, I don't think that's the way to go about it. You just stab them right in the femoral artery and get a bucket. He puts the urn to catch the blood or like Stanley Cup, whatever the fuck it is, between her legs.
Starting point is 00:44:42 If I ever win the Stanley Cup, I will fill it with blood. Is that right? Yeah. I promise you this. If I ever win it. If I ever win. See, he catches her blood. And then, uh, Pete's like, we cut to Pete the fucking cop and he's like, Ah, Ishtar, so weird.
Starting point is 00:45:04 And does not put anything together yet. He's like, Ishtar, Eitar, Eitar, Egypt, feast, missing friend, Ishtar, Eitar, feast, missing friend, serial killer. Well, I guess I'll get a burger. Oh, God, that's going to come back up. So, um, I haven't know. Oh, he's, he's, he's, he's, he's. talking to, he calls up the Kirkland signature, Henry Kissinger, and this guy tells him about Fouad Ramsey's. Right.
Starting point is 00:45:35 He's aware of this man. This is fucking insane. Because Fouad Ramsey's is the guy who wrote that book, Ancient Weird Religious Rights. And he also knew that the party was being catered by Fouad Ransies, didn't he? Yeah. He doesn't, he still doesn't put it together. He's putting the pieces together like a four-piece jigsaw puzzle for, like, fat-fingered baby toddlers. where you're like, it's clearly the sun, just turn it.
Starting point is 00:45:58 Turn it. They're all corner. Fuck. So he sends all cars. Every police car is going to Fuad Ramsey's catering. Yes. Not to the house where he knew Fuad Ramsey's would be putting on a catering event, a house that he has been to because he is fucking the woman who lives there.
Starting point is 00:46:22 They go into Fuad Ramsey's little hidey hole. and they're walking around with flashlights. They don't turn the lights on yet. And he sees a statue and he goes, that's his star, Frank. Frank? Frank, that's his star. How do you know?
Starting point is 00:46:40 How do you know what that's not what? And then they find Trudy. And for some reason, between Trudy's legs is a salad bowl that has salad tongs in it. Sure, you tossing. And then it's cut. covered in blood and there is a yam cut in half stuck in it. Is it a yam?
Starting point is 00:46:59 Okay, I think so too. Okay. All right. All right. A yam, a sweet potato, whatever it might be. Pretty brutal. It's a root vegetable. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:47:07 And why is that salad there? It's part of the blood feast. He's blood for the blood goddess. I mean, I guess if you're taking a Babylonian god and putting them in Egypt, you can take yams from like West Africa and put them in Egypt as well. Yeah. So like you can do whatever you want. Love a yam though.
Starting point is 00:47:24 Oh, yeah. Who doesn't? So good. Fucking delicious. Yeah. And not, they're not just a holiday thing. You can even year round. Have them all the time.
Starting point is 00:47:32 Make a nice curry with them. You fucking joking me? I love a baked sweet potatoes. Just put a little salt on that. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Little butter. Yeah. Go to town.
Starting point is 00:47:40 Yeah. Yum, yum, yum. Cheap yourself. Go to town. Go to town with that sweet potato. Raw dog that sweet potato. There is a bar in my neighborhood called Lot 17 that has sweet potato fries served with like a sweet butter to dip them in. It's incredible.
Starting point is 00:47:53 Wow. Wow. Wow. Wow Yeah So Suddenly Pete has a thought One of the five that he has in the movie
Starting point is 00:48:05 It's like you see a little light bulb fizzle Fouad Ramsey's is at the Fremont party Stupid idiot His name is Fouad Ramsey's How could you not be thinking Fuck Fuck Cut to the party
Starting point is 00:48:19 Fouad is setting up And he's like you know what Suzette if you come into the kitchen with me I need you to bless the meal And she goes okay and then he's like I just need to lay down
Starting point is 00:48:29 to this altar a.k.a. your countertop close your eyes. First of all this party looks like trash I would never want to go to this party. Party smarty wears the keg of icy light you know. It's all these old people just
Starting point is 00:48:40 sitting in there with drinks. And like having to wear gloves in your own home, I'd be furious. I thought she looked wonderful. Yeah, but gloves man. White elbow length gloves. Why did women wear gloves?
Starting point is 00:48:53 I don't know. You can't fucking, it's to keep us from being able to do things. Because you get your sticky little fingers on everything. It's why Republicans want to outlaw abortion to keep us out of the workplace. So that's why we had to wear gloves. So we couldn't do things.
Starting point is 00:49:06 I agree. Anyway. So he tells her there was a party just like this, 5,000 years ago. And then we've got her one friend that was in the pool earlier is trying to make a phone call to somebody. And the way she's trying to make the phone call is just slapping the part of the phone that hangs up and going, hello? Hello?
Starting point is 00:49:25 That is, I recall. those phones. Hello? Not how they work. And I was like, this dumb motherfucker doesn't understand phones. You gotta dial. You gotta stop hitting that button and then you dial. Hello?
Starting point is 00:49:37 Fuad says to Susette, be kind to the whim of an old man. Never be kind to the whim of an old man ever. She's saying that because that's what I say before we start recording every time. Can he be kind to the whim of an old man? Unless it's just your old beloved grandfather who wants to tell you a story before he dies, then you can be kind to the woman of an old man. Otherwise you say no, fuck you. So he makes her lay down on the altar countertop.
Starting point is 00:50:04 He's going to cut her head off, but she keeps going, this is silly. I'm stupid and this is fun. The air in my head keeps making me rise. Yeah, it's like a helium balloon. He has her raise her arms to the sky and say, oh, Ishtar, take me unto yourself. And then I thought, do we think she's a virgin?
Starting point is 00:50:23 I'm sure she's not. Definitely fucking Pete. Pete had to show her that he loved her. Yeah. Proved to me. Proved to me. Prove to me. She says to him, my favorite line in the movie, which I don't think I'll ever forget.
Starting point is 00:50:39 Hey, you wouldn't sacrifice me on this altar, would you? Hell of a fucking line. Cop show up. They chase him out of a mess. He's got a machete in his hands. He just hides it behind his back when he says to her, no. He runs directly out of the house to a dump. Yes, a new dump, though.
Starting point is 00:51:03 A new dump, as previously mentioned. New dump. And then he hops in the back of a trash truck. He does. He does. They somehow don't catch him, even though we have seen him that he's disabled and runs with like a serious lamp. Yeah, they can't catch him.
Starting point is 00:51:23 There's like two cops that are chasing him with 10 feet behind him and they cannot get him. I prayed for you to catch him before it's too late. Maybe you should pray to Ishtar. Maybe Ishtar would have heard your prayers. Also, before Pete goes out, he has to stop and be like, oh, we found Trudy's body. She's dead. Yeah. He's like, now is the time to tell you.
Starting point is 00:51:41 And Suzette is the teethiest crier I've ever seen. She makes the same face crying or smiling. Isn't it funny how crying just looks like. laughter without sound. That's actually the name of the first. I'll give you something to cry about record, right? Yes. So he gets crushed in the back of a garbage truck.
Starting point is 00:52:04 It's very good. It's also like these garbage truck men, the driver and the, you know, the guy who gets out and handles the garbage. Do you notice the cops chasing a man in their rearview mirror? No. Too busy smoking cigars and wearing perfectly clean white undershirts. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:52:21 But he gets mushed by. the trash mushroom. And I like watching the trash musher because I'm basically a child. Yeah. Yeah. So there's blood all over inside the trash musher and a piece of errant
Starting point is 00:52:32 driftwood. Yeah, driftwood and hot dogs on the outside, I think. Yeah, for sure. And then here is where Pete, Frank's like, how on earth did you ever, ever figure this out? And Pete's like, let me tell you about the simplest mystery.
Starting point is 00:52:48 He recounts the entire plot of the film. Because they were like, Listen, we're at 61 minutes right now. Every single one of these scenes we watched happen within the last hour. Cut to the statue of Ishtar crying tears of blood. Wait. First, someone says the phrase lust, murder, food. And I thought about getting that to like hang in my kitchen where, you know,
Starting point is 00:53:15 people have those don't live love, lust murder food. And then he's like, let's go home, Frank. and they both light Frank lights a pipe and he lights a sig. Yeah. And they're just like, let's leave this trash man to deal with this fucking problem. He's like, oh, son of a bitch. Notify headquarters that the killer is no more. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:53:36 It's no more what. No more what. Yes, but then Ishtar is crying blood. And I just wish I was watching Santa Sondray in that moment. When the elephant is just bleeding out of its elephant nose. So fucking good. Holy ghost. Holy ghost.
Starting point is 00:53:54 You ready for ratings phase? Yeah. Would you like to go first? Yeah, it's a fucking 10. This movie is brilliant. Grooms. Gets in, gets out. I don't think it's a 10 for me.
Starting point is 00:54:05 It does have the line, hey, you wouldn't sacrifice me on this altar, would you? It's a nine and a half for me. It's so dumb. I loved it. It's one of the earliest gore films, if not the earliest Gore film. It's basically considered the first splatter film. Yeah. It gave, he took on the, the name the godfather of Gore,
Starting point is 00:54:28 Herschel Gordon Lewis did. You can't have Gordon without gore. It's perfect. Yeah. And he gave us direct mail fucking marketing. And I mean, truly, I need to do something with the line, hey, you wouldn't sacrifice me on this altar, would you? Like, I need to learn how to cross stitch.
Starting point is 00:54:49 I might just for that. I first saw this movie in like the mid-90s. Like something weird put out of a VHS of this or something. And since then, weekly, I have thought about, have you ever had an Egyptian feast? When he said that line, I was like, I know Alan said that to me, no short of a dozen times. Anyway, what a delight. Thank you so much. I'm so glad you enjoyed it.
Starting point is 00:55:16 Would you like to read any messages for anybody from anybody? Yeah, I'm actually going to read a post from our subreddit, which leads into what we're doing next week. Our slash werewolf ambulance? Our slash werewolf ambulance is one of the most happen in places on the internet. It's happening, it's hopping. It's hopping and happening. It's popping off. It's popping off.
Starting point is 00:55:36 That's what I meant to say. If you can go there, you can see pictures of a statue of Don Nons. You can see pictures of Pittsburgh's favorite poetist Rachel Bovier playing a ukulele in front of a board-looking Alapeno Hannah. Which is a parogi. In case you don't already know. It's a parogi. It's fine. So Mrs. Tees Parogi.
Starting point is 00:55:55 Anyway, this is from user. Dookie is a funny word, which I agree. Katie slash Allen. Starting point is 00:59:38 to give a little money that way. And when you put money into your local food bank, you're giving it back directly to your own community, which is a really beautiful thing to do. Help your neighbors.
