Starting point is 00:00:01 And three, two, one. Blue Mouse. Blue Mouse. Blue Mouse. You know I always say blue mouse? Blue Mouse. Blue mouse. He got a fucking fingers in every goddamn movie I watch.
Starting point is 00:00:34 Every goddamn movie I watch. Every goddamn movie you watch. Alan just asked me if I'd ever seen, oh, brother, where art thou? And I said, is it a British crime drama or a horror movie? So no. It's fucking fantastic. The soundtrack is amazing. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:00:50 Best Odyssey, you said. Best adaptation of the Odyssey. Yeah. Much like Clueless is the best adaptation of Emma. Is there only, that's the only one there is, as far as I know. Britbox would like have to have a word with you. A whole section of Emma adaptations. They're like, do you want murder mystery or Emma?
Starting point is 00:01:10 Emma? How about Emma? How about not? Not an Austin head? You know, no. Too ostentatious. I might just go home. We're not here to talk about adaptations of period pieces.
Starting point is 00:01:28 No. We're here to talk about something very, very, very, very, very, very different. An adaptation of the most dangerous game. Or surviving the game. The original surviving the game. The original idea. The original idea, surviving the game, which came out last week on our feed. Oh, wow. I didn't even realize, oh, that's interesting. Nice. We did a little rock block on accident.
Starting point is 00:01:52 No, I did that on purpose. Oh, did you? Yes. Okay. Shit. You're smarter than I am. You didn't notice that I put up an episode last week while I was in vacation. No, I didn't but I didn't realize that the reason why we did it was because this movie was also. Surviving the game. Yeah, yeah. This movie's about surviving. The game. And the game is the most dangerous game. Oh, not the game, the rapper. No. You forgot about them, didn't you? No, I didn't because when I searched for surviving. the game because I wanted to make sure that was the title. I just typed in the game and the first thing that came up was a rapper.
Starting point is 00:02:23 Sure. I thought, hey. We're talking about the hunt. The hunt. This is a 2020 film. Mm-hmm. Originally scheduled for 2019, but too hot. Too hot.
Starting point is 00:02:36 Too hot to handle. Yeah. Too hot to handle. Also, out of the gate, people who thought this was too hot to handle are a bunch of fucking titty babies. You think? Yeah. Tell me why you think that?
Starting point is 00:02:47 It's satire. Fucking get made fun of. Who gives a shit? Yeah, it's obviously satire. Did you guys not grow up on Mel Brooks movies? What are we doing here? Have you not seen
Starting point is 00:02:57 Robin Hood men in tights? Like if you're up in arms by the betrayal of liberal elites being shitty people, I don't know what to say to you. Yeah. This feels like someone saw Get Out and was like, but what if it was a comedy?
Starting point is 00:03:15 With less racial undertones and more class undertones. Sure. Yeah. Oyo, yo, yo. So this movie opens with a series of text messages. Mm-hmm. Which is not a plot device, as you know, that I like.
Starting point is 00:03:28 Sure. Because I don't like looking at other people's screens. No, you don't look in Nebby. I don't like watching people type on a computer or type on their phone. I've got typing at home. I don't need to watch it here. Exactly. Exactly.
Starting point is 00:03:40 I don't need to go to McDonald's of typing. They're talking about going to the manor for the hunt. Yeah. And they're excited about it. Yeah. It's a bunch of a liberal elites. Little jokes they're having back for it. Little jokes and japes.
Starting point is 00:03:53 Is it jokes? Sure. Yeah. It turns out it was jokes that started a conspiracy theory because they got leaked. They get leaked. Yeah. Okay. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 00:04:02 So this time that they did this is the only time they've done it. Yeah. They do such a bad job. Yeah, yeah. That's really good. It's really funny. It is really funny. Yeah, I mean, like, not to put too fine a point on it,
Starting point is 00:04:16 But fuck Hillary Clinton for calling half the country deplorable. Can I go on record as calling half the country deplorable? Sure, you're not running for president that I'm aware of. And you're not also the person who called black teens super predators. She got a track record. And we voted for that bitch. Yeah, because the other option was the orange menace. Ruined us.
Starting point is 00:04:39 Ruined us. Jesus, fuck. I am not ready for another election year. Can you believe we have to do this again? Has the last one stopped? I don't think so. I feel like I'm still voting. It's just always in the booth, baby.
Starting point is 00:04:53 You know who plays a good asshole? Who? Glenn Auerton. Oh my God, Dennis. He's such a prick. I love him so much. He can never be in a movie where he's not being a prick because no one will ever believe him. Didn't we where he was like a medical.
Starting point is 00:05:08 Oh yeah, yeah, yeah. He's in like that, um, was it the wrestling movie, the wrestler movie? I feel like maybe. Yeah, where he was just like an orderly. Yeah, but it was like, what do you doing? Why aren't you yelling at everyone? Why aren't you being a cock? God, he's great.
Starting point is 00:05:23 He's on a private flight asking, being offered caviar. Yeah. And saying he's in the mood for something more Mediterranean. Do you have like a grilled vegetable with some figs, maybe small fish? It's funny. And the flight attendant slash, I guess, Hillary Swank's assistant. Yeah. is like, how about I just bring you some champagne?
Starting point is 00:05:49 And I thought, Jesus, I want a snack of champagne. When did champagne become a snack? You got that tax bracket up. Yeah, I guess so. You got some. Baby, I buy $13 bottles of Prosecco here. It's not, I can afford it. But thank you for reminding me because I drank my When It Happens bottle of champagne when
Starting point is 00:06:11 Lindsay Graham died because I felt like I deserved a little treat. Sure, sure. So I need to restock my When It Happens bottle. I've just been sipping from one for Mitch McConnell. He alive, he alive, it's fine, he's alive. He's definitely not taped to a lawn chair. Somebody did a, I'm sure it was an AI thing, but it was him and his wife dressed like Alec Baldwin and Gina Davis from Beatteljuice and he's holding the handbook for the recently
Starting point is 00:06:42 deceased. But he says, she's like, do you want some caviar? We have this blop-bitty-blop-di-cabri-cabia. He's like, I had caviar yesterday. We're also told about this 1907 champagne that came from a shipwreck that Athena has purchased. Yeah, for $250k,000 a bottle. Right. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:07:11 Yeah. Ridiculous. She seems to have a job from which she can be fired, which I'm like, how are you so rich? I don't know. I feel like you, you got to be independently. Well, she had to step down. She couldn't be fired. She had to step down.
Starting point is 00:07:24 Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. She's got a boss, is what I'm saying. Sure. Who with a boss is buying a $250,000 bottle of champagne? This lady? I guess so. I guess so. So while this conversation is happening, a gentleman walks into the area.
Starting point is 00:07:43 where all the rich people are hanging out. And he is dressed as a bumpkin. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Flannel shirt, I know, one of those, like, uh, uh, fuck, the, the jean jackets with like the sheep collar. Yes. Yeah. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 00:07:59 Yeah. Think I can wear a jean jacket with a shirt. The thing is, Alan. Yeah. I, oh, anytime I say, do you think I can wear, you just start nodding this? Yeah, because I think you're a beautiful lady that can pull off anything. No, stop up. No, if you were like.
Starting point is 00:08:12 You think I can wear a pinafore? Yes. He currently have two braids in your hair. It's because I meant to wear my new street heat hat and I forgot to put it on as I was going out the door. I really needed you to see. You have two street heat hats. I almost got a third. What is street heat other than you?
Starting point is 00:08:31 That is it. So this is a guy named Randy who's obviously drugged. He's obviously like super like. Yeah, he's like lumbering. Yeah. And talking. real slow. Yes, he's asking for help.
Starting point is 00:08:45 Yeah. And so, uh, the doctor's like, the doctor character is like, uh, I'm going to lay you down on these towels. Mm-hmm. And then he borrows a pen from the, uh, from the flight attendant. Mm-hmm. And then stabs ranty in the neck in his fucking carotid artery. Yes.
Starting point is 00:09:02 Yeah. And he starts to bleed out. Right here on the plane. Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm. And everybody's screaming and saying we haven't even gotten there yet. Yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:09:11 But, but, but, before he dies or is taken back or whatever the fuck happens to him, he grabs a champagne bottle and thwax the doctor in the head. Yeah, yeah, like that. And then Athena comes out with a high heel and puts it in his eye and pulls his fucking eyeball out. Single white females that shit. Yeah. Remember Brian from Wings gets stilettoed in the eye? RIP to a real one. And then they drag him back to where all of the rest of the deplorables are being held. The deplorables. Yeah. Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm. So, then we wake up in a field with a woman whose character is named yoga pants because she's
Starting point is 00:09:46 wearing yoga pants. Is this Emma Roberts? This is Emma Roberts. She is like top build in this movie. She's barely in it. It's very funny. That made me fucking laugh that we kept getting introduced to hot people who keep dying. I thought that was really funny.
Starting point is 00:10:01 I did think that was funny. I thought there were just too many characters though. Sure. Because I would have liked to have gotten to know any of them besides Betty Gilpin and you barely get to know Betty Gilpin. I really appreciated that because I feel like this movie was like Nah, nah, nah, nah, nope
Starting point is 00:10:16 It's a whole lot of turn in the key And the engine won't start That's what it sounds like The yoga pants wakes up And she sees Snowball Who is Betty Gilpin Yes And she is taking a pin off of her name tag
Starting point is 00:10:34 And then putting that on a leaf After she rubs it in her hair to magnetize it And then finding... Why does that magnetize it? You know when you rub a balloon and it like does it put static electricity into it? Yeah, but is that magnets? How do they work? That's my question, I think, actually.
Starting point is 00:10:51 Everybody wanted to make fun of the juggalo's, but then you ask a scientist and they go, we don't know. Yeah. I used to wear a compass necklace that when it would get demagnetized, I would just put it next to I had a polar magnet. And it would just remagnetize. How? How? How, Alan? How do they work?
Starting point is 00:11:11 How do they work? How do they work? The bees. What was the question? He kept saying? How to get burned? How to get burned? So she finds my magnetic north.
Starting point is 00:11:27 And I like this because you're immediately like, oh, that woman is a fucking survivalist. She's crazy. She knows her shit. Yes. And it's Betty Gilpin. And they're all wearing these gags. Right. There's like a bar.
Starting point is 00:11:37 And there's like a bar. mouth very upsetting to me. Yeah, like a horse bit. It was really upsetting. Emma Roberts has such a large mouth. She does and she also has one of the top 10 worst wigs I've ever seen on a human being. She looks shit. Yeah. I wrote here Emma Robert's wig looks shit. There's a lot of eyes. It's up there with Putes's a Chelsea cut from a green room. Why do this? Why? Indeed. Speaking of green room, we're going to get a Macon Blair sighting later and I'm very excited. I was so excited. So,
Starting point is 00:12:10 God, we've done a lot of making Blair movies, haven't we? He's fantastic. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Our art party? What's that called? Oh, murder party.
Starting point is 00:12:18 Murder party. Yeah, yeah, yeah. It's like a movie called Art Party. We should do the movie Blue Ruin because the opening shot is dollies on the boardwalk and Roebuth. Oh, no shit. Just came back from Allen's ancestral homeland where I bought the street heat hat. I love the big.
Starting point is 00:12:37 offered that for you. Is there a street heat store? Okay, it's this store that sells like blankets and fancy soaps. Yeah, yeah, yeah. And like candles and chotchkes. And then out front, they have two crates usually of the last couple years that I've seen it of various hats. Some of them say 302, which is the area code. I got hose in different area codes.
Starting point is 00:13:03 but the rest of them are street. There's several street heat designs. The new one I got has an embroidered Jordan on it. It's so good. It's so good. It's so good. It's the lumpiest Jordan that's ever existed. I love it.
Starting point is 00:13:20 I love it's great. It looks great. It has to be like, yeah, that's my nephew, Jimithy. He does street heat. So I let him like sell it out in front of my store. There's this one white lady from Bixie. Bird that buys it on every time. She's here!
Starting point is 00:13:36 You cannot call anyone but that silly raccoon, Jimithy. I'm so sorry. That name has been taken forever. That silly little raccoon. Yeah, short spine syndrome. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Okay. So then yoga pants gets
Starting point is 00:13:54 sees another guy walking, so she follows that guy, which leads to a crate in the middle of a field. Yes, a large crate. Right. That a bunch of people are running up to. And this one guy opens it. And then this vet-looking dude is like, oh my God, it could be booby-trapped. Run away.
Starting point is 00:14:11 Yeah. But it's not. It has a pig. A cute little piggy. Yeah, dressed in clothes. We're in a little outfit. Why, though? Animal farm.
Starting point is 00:14:22 I know, but why? Because these people are pigs. Because they're disgusting. But they love this pig. Yeah. Why wouldn't you? Yeah, that's the point. It's named Orwell.
Starting point is 00:14:32 Pigs are lovely. So, oh, fuck, that reminds me, I finally have found a decent fake salami. I'm very excited. No, shit. Yeah, yeah, I'll catch off a little piece after we're done. You can get a little taste. A little taste of your fake salami. It's got the right mouth feel.
Starting point is 00:14:51 Okay. Which they were often missing. Yeah, a little greasy and thick. Which is how to describe myself. That's what she said. Two Cs. I literally had a conversation with a man in the beer store, a pistoles. as last night about how when someone says
Starting point is 00:15:05 that's what she said, there's just nothing you can say to that. You just doff your cap and walk away. I guess I'm done. But along with the pig is a rack of weapons. Yes, a very large pegboard filled with weapons.
Starting point is 00:15:21 We meet the hot guy Republican. Yeah. To which I wrote L.O. L.O. There are none. And he's just being nice. He's being polite and like courteous to this woman who helps him. Yeah. Yeah. Like all of the deplorables are just being kind.
Starting point is 00:15:35 Yeah, they sure are. Yeah. They hear a rifle shot. And Emma Roberts goes, he'd almost hit me. Then. And then it hits her. Then her head of fucking explodes into that guy's mouth.
Starting point is 00:15:47 I wrote no love interest for you, brough, but it doesn't matter. So then dead sexy runs. She's hiding in the crate. Dead sexy, right. And then she runs and falls into a pit with pungy sticks in it.
Starting point is 00:16:02 I'm sorry. They're not calling. old Vietnam spikes, are they? It's fine. I know what you were talking about. And then he pulls her out. It has gone through her belly. Like, don't pull her out. Don't pull her out. And then she gets up and just walks away. I don't think you could. He's helping her walk away.
Starting point is 00:16:18 She says, it's my birthday tomorrow. I'm going to eat a whole pie. HBD on three. And then when they're walking away, he steps on a landmine. And just goes, ah, man. to which I was like, they're killing so many hot people. This rips. Yeah, you do love to see the death
Starting point is 00:16:37 of people more attractive than you. Yeah, but also like, oh, they were like, the people that you were like, oh, these are going to be the stars of the movie
Starting point is 00:16:44 because they're hot. And because Emma Roberts is a name and like, I recognize that dude too. Sure. Yeah, he looks like a hundred other famous dudes. He's a white guy,
Starting point is 00:16:54 so that makes sense. He looks like every cast member of the most recent top gun movie. Did you see that, my friend? Oh, how was it? Of course they did. Not as good as the OG. Listen, and the OG is not as good as Days of Thunder, which is the exact same movie.
Starting point is 00:17:08 You know, they're revisiting. Cruise is going back to the well. Days! Yeah, they're going to do it too. Shit. We're going to cover it on this show, right? Remember it was our very first April Fool's episode? Oh, it holds such a special place in my heart.
Starting point is 00:17:22 Was it our very first or was our very first over the top? No, that was number two. Okay. That was number two. Because at some point you just started letting me, I think the April Fool's idea, I was like, can't we please just do days of thunder? Justin even did a special logo for it. I like that I let you.
Starting point is 00:17:39 You let me, yeah. That's the problem is you let me do whatever I want. You can't do that. Why can't I? Because I have bad ideas. Um, top, uh, constantly in the top 35 podcasts for film reviews would say something different. Um, so then we see, uh, Ike Barron Holtz, who was,
Starting point is 00:18:01 love. I think he's very, very funny. I, he just has such a punchable phase. Sure. Yeah. And knows it though. And knows it. Yeah. I guess he's doing it. Yeah, yeah, yeah. He was great in after party. That TV show. Yeah,
Starting point is 00:18:17 you're right. You're right. He was. He's also really good in, I know you haven't watched it yet, but the studio. He's really good in that too. It's on my list of, I have a literal note in my app called Shows Allen wants me to watch. Deadlock the studio and then someone else gave me one that they want me to watch.
Starting point is 00:18:32 So I lumped them in with you. And you did watch Deadlock now. I haven't finished it because I don't want it. I don't want it to end. I don't want those beautiful Australian lesbians to be done. I just need to know. I just, yeah, I'm coming back for it. It's so good.
Starting point is 00:18:44 It's so good. So silly. I was bummed because the like the button they put on the end of the series is like, oh, they're not going to, they're not going to turn anymore. Yeah. I haven't gotten that. Yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:18:56 I don't talk about this anymore. Um, so, uh, like, Barronholds starts going off about something called Manorgate. Manorgate, right. Which is a conspiracy theory made up for this movie. When did Pizza Gate happen? Prior to this. Sure, sure, yeah. No, that was like 2016, 17.
Starting point is 00:19:16 That was like the rise of Trump. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Maybe even like before, but yeah, yeah, yeah. Jeez, fuck, that's 10 years ago. Uh-huh. Uh-huh. Oh, my God, Alan. I feel so tired. For sure. the thing that like conspiracy theories can suck my ass i fucking hate conspiracy theories because they all but Mitch McConnell is dead but they all end with the Jews like every if you follow
Starting point is 00:19:42 any conspiracy theory to the to its like end it's like the Jews what about Mitch McConnell being dead that's not a conspiracy theory that's a fucking fact but like so like this idea that there are a bunch of elites that are like have a a cabal where they're fucking kids yeah It's fucking true. Yeah, exactly. So it was the Jews? Is that what you're saying? No, I'm saying...
Starting point is 00:20:08 Hold up, because I think you just proved your own point. No, I'm saying is that... You're an anti-Semi. What I'm saying is that there's like these like... These conspiracy theories go off on these like fucking bat-shit tangents that end up being anti-Semitic. When like there's actual shitheads that are doing shitty things. to kids. It's like the fucking anti-abortion people that are like, we're here to protect children. Okay, why aren't you about a fucking food bank, have like feed children then?
Starting point is 00:20:37 Yeah. Pieces of shit. No, I know. I hear you. So, like, it's these conspiracy theories are just like whack job of like Ruski's. So yes, so he's brought up Manor Gate, which is this conspiracy theory about rich leftist elites that are murdering the working class or murdering right-wing people. Right. Yeah. We don't know it yet, but it's because those early text messages have been leaked. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:21:00 We see a dude get arrowed a bunch as they're climbing over a fence. Yeah. Yeah. Also, one of the older guys says something about Avatar, like what the avatar fuck is this? And I had no idea what that meant. I don't know. I only saw the first Avatar and I hated it so much. I erased it from my memory.
Starting point is 00:21:19 Are there more than one? Oh, my God. Yeah, there's so many. How many? I think three now. No way. And I think there's going to be like three more. Okay.
Starting point is 00:21:26 Yeah, this is James Cameron's like thing. I despise that movie with the fury of a thousand suns. I'll never see it, but I do wish that you go back to the bottom of the ocean. Just for funsies. Not like a billionaire in a sub kind of way. No, I wanted him to make a movie about that guy getting suffocated. But in like a funny way. You do a like funny little twist on it.
Starting point is 00:21:52 Funny little twist, yeah. So three people have climbed over the fence. It's like, Barron. Holtz. I believe Sturgle Simpson is the guy with the Florida face tattoo. Orlando? Yeah. Storgel Simpson is like a pretty good like country singer.
Starting point is 00:22:13 Oh, okay. See, that's not something I would know. No. And then a lady with a really nice red mullet is with them as well. She's like a real Reba McIntyre knockoff. Yeah. Neba. Neba.
Starting point is 00:22:28 So they run to a country store that they find on the side of a road. Okay. Yes. This is Maun Paus. Yeah. So staffed by one Amy Madigan and another guy. Yeah. Reed Bernie.
Starting point is 00:22:40 Yeah, he's been in a lot of stuff. Okay. A lot of TV acting. Okay. Okay. I think he was in the menu also. Ah. Oh, is he the like senator guy from the menu?
Starting point is 00:22:48 Might have been. That's with, uh, what's her nuts from, uh, who's the boss? What's her nuts from who's the boss? Sir. you're going to have to give me a bit more than that. His wife was played by Samantha from, is it Samantha? I'm looking. Or Samantha Alyssa Milano's character's name.
Starting point is 00:23:09 Judith Light? Judith Light, yeah, yeah, yeah. I don't know. Wait, what's that show called again? Who's the boss? Who's the boss? I never saw who's the boss. You can relax a little bit.
Starting point is 00:23:32 Angela. Angela. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Samantha is Alyssa Milano's character And of course Jonathan And Mona Stop Stop recounting who's the boss to us
Starting point is 00:23:46 Well now I have to do this Who's the boss? Dan's a Tony Nah, a fool Milano pony So now we move on Because I did that Because that's what's in my brain And has to come out
Starting point is 00:23:54 When I say who's the boss It's incredible It's like how I can't say Motel Hotel Hotel Phil. Holiday Ann. Man.
Starting point is 00:24:10 Yeah, there was, we were watching something last night and somebody said a line that was a Gorilla Biscuits lyric, so I had to finish the Gorilla Biscuits lyric. And I see, like, what did you? Oh, never mind. I know what you said. Because I just mumbled it because, like, no one else needs to know. She just had to get it out of your mouth, though. That has to leave now.
Starting point is 00:24:26 That has to leave. Has to get out of your mouth. So they tell, um, Who is it that comes in there? Like Barronholz and then Orlando and Mollett Lady. Mollett Lady. They tell them that they're in Arkansas. Sure.
Starting point is 00:24:43 Sure. And they say, we're getting goddamn hunted. And she goes, but y'all have guns? And he goes, yeah, to defend ourselves. And then she's like, so aren't the people with guns just expressing their Second Amendment right by shooting out of you? And he's like, fuck. So he calls not. 9-11.
Starting point is 00:25:05 Calls 9-11. Two plane show up. I was thinking another thing and looking at my notes and I was like, oh, yes, 9-11. Calls 9-11. And the guy is like, yeah, yeah, we'll trace you. Just sit tight. Like, doesn't ask these people with the address of their property is. No, fucking like barrenholds.
Starting point is 00:25:25 He's really playing a great dummy. Yeah, yeah, dummy dickhead. Yeah, yeah, which is like also hit, like, much like Glenn Howardton, his wheelhouse. Yes, for sure. And then Niba starts eating those little donuts that Hostess makes. Yeah, little donuts. Donets. Donets.
Starting point is 00:25:42 Donets. What a cute name. It sounds like you should have been a girl group. Yeah. Oh, shit. It has to be like someone in the donuts. Like, I always thought that St. Vincent and the Grenadines would be a great band name. You know, the island chain.
Starting point is 00:25:58 Yeah. So I want something like that. St. Vincent and the donuts. Yeah. So Amy Madigan throws a gas grenade because the lady eating the donut starts choking on it. Yes. Oh, no, Orlando. Oh, no, Orlando.
Starting point is 00:26:16 When they kill Orlando, the guy, whomst you recognized, leans in and says, climate change is real. I'm a godless elite and climate change is real. It's him in the faith. So Ike Barronholz is not yet dead, I don't think. And Ma is dragging him away and notices that he has a wedding ring.
Starting point is 00:26:41 Yeah, and so she's sad. She's sad. And then Paa says he probably uses the N word and not even in private. He probably uses it on Twitter. Was that implying that he thinks it's okay if you use it in private? I think he's implying that it's more.
Starting point is 00:26:58 okay. Yeah. And then they get into an argument because he refers, he says black people and she says African Americans and he says it's okay to say black people because NPR said. And she said, which is made up of whom? White people. And then he goes, we're the fucking worst. I do like the satire of the self-loathing white elite.
Starting point is 00:27:20 Yeah. It's very funny. Ben, he starts drinking a soda and she's like, no, that's poison. It has 43 grams of sugar. That's why I have a note that just says liberal nerds. In walks, Betty Gilpin. Yeah. She's cute as a button and also like hot as hell.
Starting point is 00:27:40 She's both. That's not fair. You don't get both? Some of us don't get either. Hey, some of us got both. Just saying. You're right. It's not fair.
Starting point is 00:27:48 It's not fucking fair. She wants a pack of lights and matches. That's my girl. Mm-hmm. Pools cash out of her boot for her. emergencies. Yeah, because she's fucking prepared. She's prepared. Yeah. Siggis are expensive as a note
Starting point is 00:28:02 that I have written here because she pays with a 20 and gets a 10 and some change. That's if you're lucky. I know. I know. I know. When I was in L.A. I haven't bought a pack of cigarettes in ages. I wouldn't know that. I haven't bought them since they were under $5. Right? When I was in L.A., everything was like
Starting point is 00:28:18 all cigarettes were over $10. Yeah. They are in Pittsburgh too, my day. Really? Yeah. I mean, I don't know. I've heard. So I've heard. My friends have told me. It's not worth it. Just roll your own. Be one of them people. Oh, I can't.
Starting point is 00:28:30 I can't. I'm not. No, I'm done with all of it. Okay, good, good. So, she gives her back a 10 and some coins, and Betty Gilpin attacks her. Immediately just, like,
Starting point is 00:28:44 slamming her head, John Wick style off the counter. Cigarettes in Arkansas only costs six bucks. You fucked up, bitch! Is something Betty Gilpin says. Her use of bitch in this movie is so good. She's doing a southern accent. I don't know if she is from the south. I've only ever seen her. The only other thing I've ever seen her in is glow. Yeah. Where she also has a southern accent.
Starting point is 00:29:06 Yeah. Yeah. She is from New York City. Ah, they called the South and the North. South of the North. She's a Southern Yank. So now she's got a gun. The cigarettes were empty, of course, because they're not going to let you smoke because they're liberal nerds. Right. Empty anyway. She goes outside and finds her. a truck where she pulls the license plate off. Yeah. And finds that there's like a Eastern European looking plate on it. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:29:35 Yeah, yeah. And then realizes that there's a trap. It's booby trapped. It's booty trapped. It's booty trapped. It's booty trapped. And she's very, she's again. And there's like, it's trapped.
Starting point is 00:29:45 It's like this elaborate setup of like C4 with a pencil that when you snap it, it's going to detonate at the gas tank. I love it. I love it. Yeah, it's fun. It's fun. And it's also like, I need to be. better at looking for tripwires. Yeah. Well, who's trying to kill you? Man, if you were as cute as a
Starting point is 00:30:03 button and sexy as hell like I am, people are out for you. I'm actually trying to kill you. My goal is to eliminate people more attractive than me. This is a long con. It's a very long con. Year 14, you're taking me out. So a drone appears out of nowhere. Yeah. And it gets shot down. Yeah, yeah, yeah. by some dude who was The guy from mole rats who can't see the magic eye That's right And he turns, goes, Brenda To a RIP to a real one
Starting point is 00:30:35 What the fuck is her name? Shannon Doherty? She dead! Oh yeah. How's she done? Oh, fuck cancer. Seriously. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:30:45 Schooner is a sailboat. So he shoots the drone down And she says that was a mistake Now they know we're here. Right. And I was like, she's thinking of everything. Yep. So, Gary.
Starting point is 00:30:59 Gary. He says, I'm Gary. And she says, shut the fuck up, Gary. Because she's the best. And she, they, they immediately, she's like, I saw some tracks. And he's like, what kind of tracks? And it's train tracks. Right.
Starting point is 00:31:10 And he, he is also babbling about conspiracies and forwarding things to his friends. Yeah, Mattergate. Shut the fuck up. Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm. So they end up running and getting on a train. Mm-hmm. Okay, this part doesn't make any fucking sense to me.
Starting point is 00:31:23 that the one guy has embedded with a bunch of migrants. And also that they got on that very car. Sure. She was going by at that very time. Where did he start from? He said he's been embedded with him, so he's been there for a minute. What is he doing? I don't know.
Starting point is 00:31:40 So they get on a train, they chase down this train, they get on in like an action sequence. Yeah. And there's a refugee family in there speaking Arabic. Right. And she has to pull him on because he doesn't have the strength to pull himself on. Right. But she does because she's buff as fuck. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:31:53 Yeah, yeah. Yeah. God, she's so good in Glow. Glow was such a good show. Yeah. That's why they canceled it. Because women were really doing well. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:32:03 The abortion episode? Holy shit. Oh, so fucking good. Yeah. Also, I made me like Mark Merritt, and that's a hard thing for me to do. It made me really like the lady, the one who goes to get the abortion, um, uh, from community and all that jazz. Allison Brie.
Starting point is 00:32:18 Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah, I'd really watch her do anything. I think she's very funny. Yeah. Yeah. Um, so, yeah.
Starting point is 00:32:23 So, Gary is now going off, but these aren't actual migrants. They're crisis actors, including a crisis baby. Yeah. She goes, they've got a baby. I don't know. And he goes, so, they're a crisis baby. I have a podcast. I've been exposing these people.
Starting point is 00:32:38 And I was like, oh, yes, podcasters are the worst people on the planet. So the army shows up and they start checking the train. Mm-hmm. This army is from where? Croatia. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:32:51 Yeah. So the one guy that's with that has embedded with the immigrants is like, shut the fuck up, Gary. He goes, I don't think they believe you, Gary. Which is a good little twist because I didn't see that coming because it makes no fucking sense. He says, I'll even give you a head start before I come after you. And then the guy falls down and he's got a bunch of grenades in his pocket or in his bag. So Gary puts one down his. pants and blows them up into a state farm ad i watch this on prime i think oh yeah i'm paying for prime
Starting point is 00:33:29 why am i getting a state farm ad when someone gets blown up with a grenade in their pants listen do you know how expensive it is to make your employees piss and bottles and have the three times the national average of injuries to your workers at your warehouse jesus fuck so they're on a cart with these refugees being taken to camp. And they meet the Croatian boss man. So bad. He's doing such a bad job. And she convinced him that she's being hunted.
Starting point is 00:34:06 And he goes, you are being hunted like Don. And then Don comes in. Then Don comes in. We met him earlier. Right. He's the vet who thought the thing was booby-trapped. Right. And Don has theories that he keeps
Starting point is 00:34:19 trying to tell her she does not care about the conspiracy theories. We're going to be on Hannity, you and me, like those two Jew boys that fuck Nixon up. Because they're going to expose Manor Gage. Yes. Yeah. Then he says, you want to share what you're thinking, sweetie? As if a that guy would ever ask a woman what she was thinking. Liberal men don't even ask women what they're thinking because none of you care.
Starting point is 00:34:43 Feeding back into my theory, that women aren't real. this 14 year long con you've been running I would say you're throwing your voice but I interrupt you constantly That's how good I am So who shows up to save them Uncle Sam's nephew Uncle Sam's nephew
Starting point is 00:35:07 Macon Blair What a sweet baby angel making Blair Is he the best If you ever does something bad I'll be so upset Yeah Yeah yeah yeah Don't do anything bad making Blair My hopes for the future
Starting point is 00:35:17 or literally on your shoulder. I need you to be asking women what they're thinking. You probably should. You probably should. So he takes him away in his car. He named one of his children, Buck. Did he? He sure did.
Starting point is 00:35:30 His name is Macon. Yeah. Buck Blair. Buck Blair. That's a good fucking name. Buck Blair is a race car driver. It's true. It's the real name that you find out of a wrestler name like Razorback.
Starting point is 00:35:44 Razorback? I'm so impressed that you pulled that out of nowhere. That was a really good bet. I immediately went to like hogs and... Razorback. That's a sick name. If I ever become a pro wrestler here in my mid-40s? I'm 42.
Starting point is 00:35:59 I'm not mid yet. No, no. Also, my knees just ached for you for the idea of you becoming a wrestler now. No, thank you. But this is, yes, Makin Blair is driving. Yeah. And she gets in the front seat and Don gets in the back. And then she's just slowly adjusting her body.
Starting point is 00:36:17 so that her hips are like square to making Blair while he's driving. Right, because he's, he's given up the game by saying, well, why do you think these people are hunting you? Yeah. Why do you think they're hunting you specifically? Right. He's, he's bad at his job. And she's like, okay, okay.
Starting point is 00:36:34 She turns to be square with him and then grabs the, like, handle the, oh, shit handle. For your mom to grab when you're turning in a car. And. When she's stumping on the floor and pretending there's a break. no break and then like kicks him out while driving the car and then gets in the front seat
Starting point is 00:36:55 and backs over his dome backs over his dome piece she's fucking amazing she's so good I'm assuming this all was not in the script that Betty Gilpin did all this John screams what is wrong with you
Starting point is 00:37:11 you are not right he was going to save us yeah and then they open the trunk and Gary's in there a knife in his head. And then so they do a countdown, and they realize that they're down to two. They started with 12, and they're down to two. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:37:25 And then she tells this absolutely bat shit story about the Jack Rabbit and the Box Turtle, and you think it's just that story of the tortoise and the hair. Uh-huh. Uh-huh. Until... I can't wait for you to tell Lucy to spend the story. The Jack Rabbit snatches up the Box Turtle's wife and kids first so that the box turtle has to watch and then cuts them all into pieces and eats their dinner. eat some for dinner because the jack rabbit always wins every last bite every last bite and then
Starting point is 00:37:55 she kind of takes a deep breath and pulls the knife out of gary's head because she needs a blade yeah who is the rabbit who is the rabbit who do you think fucking snowball smarts let me get the pig again the pig's wearing a cute little shirt mm-hmm he's changed outfits why did they just let the pig wander like this I don't know I don't know I don't I don't know either. I don't know. Yeah. So we get to the elites being like dicks together in this bunker.
Starting point is 00:38:28 Ava DuVernay, just like one of my posts. Are you guys friends? I always met her at the time party. Fuck you. And they have a consultant who's been teaching the military stuff. Right. And Glenn Howerton goes to pee. Yes.
Starting point is 00:38:48 He gets his, she goes, hey, he, he's. He goes, she goes, hey, is this your pig? No, Don does. Right, he's really snuggling that pig. Yeah. And then she cuts his throat from behind. And Don is taken aback by that happening. But is he?
Starting point is 00:39:06 Yeah, I think he's shook by her, like, wanton murder of people. But is Don, Don's in on it? Is he? Is he? Yeah. I wanted you to tell me, actually. I don't know. Okay.
Starting point is 00:39:17 It's left ambiguity. I don't think his picture is. on the wall of their photos. Oh. But it would be really weird if he was in there. Like, that seems too risky to be in that, like, firefight at the beginning. Right.
Starting point is 00:39:31 Although he did run and hide in the woods. Immediately. And, but, like, he has a direct line to Athena, who is the head boss of all of it. Well, that was just an open line that she was talking with them because she kept yelling at them to stop talking so much in the bunker. Because the consultant was also, like, you guys need to stop talking so much.
Starting point is 00:39:49 Right. The consultant's so stupid. So the pig runs down, they send the pig down into the bunker and somebody shoots the pig And then the one lady's mad that the pig is dead. She also got mad earlier in this scene because someone said like, hey guys. Yeah. And then she's like, hey. And the guy's like, oh, I'm sorry, I gendered it. It's just like, is this how people think we talk?
Starting point is 00:40:11 Yes, 100%. Because they're basically it completely on how the internet reacts with human beings. Yeah. Yeah, fair. Yeah. So the pig comes in, they shoot him up, they kill him, and then Snowball comes in and kills a dude and says, hey bitch. Yeah, hey bitch. Shoots him.
Starting point is 00:40:32 She's good. Stabs the lady with an arrow, gets to the gun before the doctor guy does. She fucking rules. Yeah, wipes them out except the sergeant who then she's beating with a pipe. And like backhanded beating him with a pipe. Not like not even looking where she's hitting him, but hitting him directly in the nuts and stuff. And then the woman says to her, you hick. God damn, hick, maybe. Yeah. Yeah, yeah, yeah. So he, earlier, Don had been angry at her for killing Makin Blair because he thought they could get some
Starting point is 00:41:04 answers out of him. And so she asks him, do you want to ask this lady anything? And he asks, why are you doing this to us? And she's like, because Jesus told me to. Yeah. And then she kills the lady. Do you think you should be afforded mercy just because you're a girl? No. She had to say no, you know? She had to say no. But this is where Don's on the walk. I thought he had a walkie, but I guess it's just an open line.
Starting point is 00:41:28 Yeah. Okay. Yeah. And then Athena starts asking for Don. And Don's like, I don't know who that is. I don't know who that lady is. And he's not very convincing. No, he's not.
Starting point is 00:41:40 No, he's not. So she kills Don. Right. Is this also, so she kills Don and then she has a conversation with the consultant. and he's like, so you were in the military and she goes, Mm-hmm. Afghanistan.
Starting point is 00:41:52 Yeah. She says to Athena over the radio, Don's dead. Cause of me. And then she has this conversation with the consultant. The consultant, which isn't making any sense. She's like, I work at a car rental company
Starting point is 00:42:10 and there's nowhere to put that. So I like, and that's the whole line. Yeah. Is it just not? to show that she's dumb? Like, why are, why are we getting this? I don't, like, I think that nowhere to put that, like, I don't know how to process that.
Starting point is 00:42:29 I guess. Because I did these tours in Afghanistan and it, like, fucked me up. Yeah. Okay. So, like, doing this shit makes sense to me. I know how to murder people. I understand. But I don't know how to, like, process the nightmare that is my non-murder life.
Starting point is 00:42:46 Got it. Is kind of how I took that because she kept, like, she's doing, like, Big eyes and going, mm-hmm. Yeah. And then she asked him if he's served. And he's like, well, National Guard, she goes, yeah, of course. And she goes, thank you for your service. Thank you, sir.
Starting point is 00:43:04 Cut to one year earlier. What happens? Martin's account has gotten hacked. This is the first time we see Athena. It's Hillary Swank. My girl, Hillary. Hillary Swank. She looks so great.
Starting point is 00:43:15 Yeah. The work that she has had done is expert. Oh, is she had work done? She's older than me. You don't think Hillary Swankas had work done? Probably. I'm going to see how old. How old do you think Hillary Swank is?
Starting point is 00:43:30 55. 73. 69. Nice. 1974. She's your age. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:43:41 Dude, I just watched a dark side of the ring that's completely focused on a match between Samoa Joe and Necro Butcher. and was blown away to find out that Necro Butcher's a year older than I am. Really? Yeah, he looks like he's 79 years old. Well, wrestling will do that to you. Sure. Yeah, especially the type of wrestling that Batman does still to this day.
Starting point is 00:44:04 Samoa Joe is like five or so years older than me, I would think. Yeah, we think, yeah. Does not look that rough, though. No. Although he's holding on to that fucking, like, chin beard and just like Samoa Joe. You got to let that go. Come on, buddy. No, you got to let that go.
Starting point is 00:44:19 Anywho. So yes, she's in her office with a guy who looks almost exactly like fucking Ira Glass from this American life. NPR, yep. Yep. And then Nicole is there with him. Paul and Nicole are in her office. And they're basically like, so this guy got hacked.
Starting point is 00:44:40 His text got put out into the world. Right. Because he's going to like a messy divorce or something like that. Right. He did some shit at work or whatever rich people. was, yeah. And people believe that Mannergate, people, this is what creates the Mannergate conspiracy. Exactly.
Starting point is 00:44:56 People believe that. Right. So she gets fired. Mm-hmm. Yeah. Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm. We cut to a scene of them going through all the victims that they are going to
Starting point is 00:45:05 kidnap. Sure. And she's just like lifting weights, pump and iron. Yeah. Because she's been training for eight months. Eight months. Yeah. And one of them is wearing a kimono and someone says, that's appropriation.
Starting point is 00:45:18 Yeah. again the internet I guess she's also lifting in a regular ass bra just put on a sports bra that would be so uncomfortable sure yeah sure yeah
Starting point is 00:45:30 you think Hillary Swank puts on a sports bra yeah I saw a million dollar baby did you? No I saw the trailer though you're the best you know I'm constantly reminded of the thing you told me
Starting point is 00:45:49 when we first started the show which is that no one can ever hate me as much as I hate myself. And this is one of those moments where I particularly feel it. Why would you hate yourself for being the best? Because I'm an idiot. So they're going through, they get to, like, Makin Blair is like listing off the crimes that these people have committed,
Starting point is 00:46:09 like having a podcast where they talk about Mannergate. Right. Posting on forums, things like that. It's all people that have, like, brought up Mannergate. Right. They're like, essentially the QAnon pushers. And then they get to like a black dude. And everyone's like, no.
Starting point is 00:46:20 Oh, no, we can't do that. But then they're like, well, if we don't have one, then it looks like, you know. It is very like, there's like a South Parkiness to this. Absolutely. Of like both sides are bad, right? We can admit that both sides are bad. But did you watch the most recent season of South Park? No.
Starting point is 00:46:41 It's no, you should. It's fucking funny as hell. Really? Pam Bondi the entire time just has literal poop on her nose. And people keeping like, I don't know. it's the spot is getting bigger jd vance is like it's very funny i thought it was very funny also they got paid like a billion dollars to do this so good on yes is there anything else on comedy central at this point i watched it on paramount oh yeah that's where they got or peacock no paramount
Starting point is 00:47:11 whatever one it is they're the same thing to me okay uh mats who paid them like a billion dollars to do it yeah wow wow yeah the guys who wrote basketball. Get a billion dollars. You know what I have seen? BASK ball. Wait, you're telling me the lady who's seen every Polly Shore movie is also some basketball.
Starting point is 00:47:33 I haven't seen a million dollar baby though. I know what happens. So she, yes, if we don't have at least one person of color, it's going to seem like we're excluding them. and then she sees snowball and she's like, that's our snowball. Yeah. Her handle.
Starting point is 00:47:55 Crystal Mae Creasy. Her handle is justice for y'all. Justice for y'all. That's actually quite good. Yeah. Y'all is non-gendered. Wait. So is Yins.
Starting point is 00:48:08 Yeah. What if we do a Metallica cover country band called Justice for Y'all? Justice for Y'all. What do you think? Think about it. I have thought about trying to learn the banjo. So this would make sense. I'm not to play stand-up bass, aren't I?
Starting point is 00:48:29 100%. But one of those like psychobilly coffin-shaped ones. Oh, yes, of course. I'm also exclusively wearing shirts with flames for some reason. Like Jackson Galaxy. Yes, the cat man. Carried all those cat toys around in a guitar case. What are you doing?
Starting point is 00:48:46 And the douchiest beard that's ever existed. But he loved kitty cats. He had like, if 311 were facial hair, it would be that guy's beard. I remember actually not believing him because he said, um, cats are never spiteful. And I was like, have you not met Enzo, my cat? Rip, God rest his soul. Have you not met a cat that I was having a discussion about how I didn't think it was that cat that was peeing on things? And I turned around and he was pissing in my shoe.
Starting point is 00:49:15 Like, yeah, I'm doing it, dog. He did that. He did that too. you. That's a fuck you in particular, you know? I was all love to turn in my bed that I woke up to on my fucking 50th birthday. Oh, HBD. Enzo, once I went on vacation and when I came back for a week, I was so tired, I was away
Starting point is 00:49:34 for a week when I got home, I was like so tired from driving, I collapsed into my bed and I was like, motherfucker, he'd peed and shit in it. I thought it was going to be the one where Lucy was so happy to be home, ran the house, and fucking fell on her butt. That's right. She slipped in his pee. and landed in it and just started weeping and I could not blame her. I could not blame her.
Starting point is 00:49:54 What the fucking dick, yeah. All right, Peter, oh, I don't miss him in any way. No, no,
Starting point is 00:50:00 no. Well, wait, we're back from vacation, so that means the cat is imminent, right? Cat, Derek is coming. Oh, Derek is good.
Starting point is 00:50:07 She must be. Congratulations, Derek. Oh, yeah, Derek. Derek is coming. Oh, let's get into that later. So, now we're at a manner.
Starting point is 00:50:18 A rural manner. Yeah. And it's just an Airbnb that she had them decorated. Right. In Croatia. Snowball, Betty Gilpin is walking up to the gate and Hillary Swank says to leave the gun in the mailbox. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:50:31 She walks in and sees a weird-looking dog. Yeah. Why that dog's a weird-looking? Oh, because it's a rich person's dog. I guess. If I were rich, I would still get like the muddiest looking little mud I could get. You know why? You're not a ticket.
Starting point is 00:50:47 Nah. well just not about that I want dickhead about other things we all had things that were dickheads about but you were not a blanket statement dickhead thank you so much yeah so yes she goes in
Starting point is 00:51:03 the kitchen is massive yeah yeah yeah and the decorating is like it looks like one of those like we took over your house and decorated it against your will TV shows move that bus it looks like shit And the photos are on the wall.
Starting point is 00:51:19 All the photos of her accomplices are on the wall. Right. Right. And she's talking about slicing tomatoes with a bread knife. And I was like, that's right. It's a serrated knife. It's a pro move. Yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 00:51:31 She's right. And she's also talking about making grilled cheese with gruehier. Like, that's a fucking elitist, like, I don't know, is it? I love that cheese and cannot pronounce it to save my life. Gruyer. Greer. You got it in one. Sorry, cheesemonger.
Starting point is 00:51:52 Can you help me find her? They're like, oh, yes, a grueire. Le grueuier. I make this cheesy pasta dish that has that mozzarella and regatta in it. Very good. Oh, that sounds fantastic. A real blending of the cultures.
Starting point is 00:52:09 Yeah, and it also has a, it's got a pured pumpkin in it as well. It's fucking delicious. Yeah, I'll send it to the recipe. You get some sage on that? Yeah, sage and time. Sage any time? Sage and time? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:52:17 Sage An Time or Sage Anytime? Sage Anytime, which is my stripper name. What's your song? Oh, Dragula. Just be coming out with my non-dumper shaking it to Dracula. So sad you were born without an ass. Assless. Assless.
Starting point is 00:52:42 Not the chaps, the body. At some point I'm just going to have to. except that I'm going to be a belt and suspenders person because nothing is holding these pants up. You just got to do some Brazilian booty lifting. They may have worked on videos. They need a BBL. You should get a BBL. There's no way that one side wouldn't pop.
Starting point is 00:53:04 Like a fucking Nike pump. Jesus Christ. At this point, Hillary Swank is describing Snowball's child to hood to Snowball. Yeah. She's like, you got the wrong Crystal May crazy. S-M-D-H. M-A-E, not M-A-Y.
Starting point is 00:53:23 Right. She's like, my mom's still alive. Let's call her right now. I also like when she says my mom's still alive. There's like a, yeah, she's still alive. Yeah. And then they have a fucking fight, this beautiful choreographed fight. It's beautiful.
Starting point is 00:53:40 Hillary Swank tries to use a flambé torch. There's no distance on that. No, it's very. There's intentionally no distance on that. It's by design. We get Chekhov's champagne. She hits her with a 1907 bottle of champagne. We get her fucking Betty Gilpin like jumps onto like some like decorative ropes and falls to the floor.
Starting point is 00:54:02 Yeah. She falls over the edge, grabs a rope and then still falls. Yeah. At one point they go through a plate glass window and then Betty Gilpin is bringing Hillary Swank back into the house and about to send her face first through her door. And she just goes, no more glass. and opens the door. They start fighting with a food processor blade, which is very, very sharp if you've ever accidentally
Starting point is 00:54:22 reach into the dishwasher and snagged one. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Always watch it by hand, so I don't do that. Oh, don't do that. Yeah, don't wash it by hand. That's a great way to drop it and get cut. Yeah, that's fine. Looks like we're both dummies.
Starting point is 00:54:36 Just different. I also liked when they were, like, and then they paused, and they're like, hold on, I need a minute. And then back at it. Yeah. But then they both get cut on the tummies with the food processor blade. Right, because Betty Gilpin has it in her stomach and then pulls Hillary Swank into her.
Starting point is 00:54:55 Yeah, it's rad. And it sticks into her. So now she's going to die. She's going to die. But first, Betty Gilpin needs to explain what actually happens in Animal Farm because she's like, the pigs, it's smart ones. She's like, you've read Animal Farm? And it's like, come on, buddy. She probably went to high school.
Starting point is 00:55:13 She did not drop out when she was 12. Yeah, 12 year, yes, that's right, 12 year old dropout. Because she had the wrong, Crystal May Creasy. Crystal May Creasy. Crystal May Creasy. Yeah. And then when Hillary Swank's last word is, whoops. And dies.
Starting point is 00:55:33 Yeah. So it looks like Betty Gilpin is also going to die. But then she looks over and she sees a rabbit. Yes. And she's like, huh. Like, oh, I guess I am the rat. Right. Gets up, eats the grilled cheese made with,
Starting point is 00:55:49 well. Grueuill. And, uh, carterizes her fucking wound. That's not going to help the internal bleeding. No. It's still bleeding on the time.
Starting point is 00:56:01 It's still bleeding into your hot dogs. Mm-hmm. Into your hot dog cavity. Puts on a stunning dress. God, she's gorgeous. Yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:56:08 Stupid how pretty she is. But she can also do like down in the holler pretty as well. Like you believe her as like the pretty lady from Miss. Mississippi. Yeah. Yeah. But then when she gets dolled up, you're like, holy shit. Mm-hmm.
Starting point is 00:56:20 Yeah. Glam-A-F, as they say. Mm-hmm. Glammoth. She, glam-f. She is walking the silly dog onto the private plane. Yeah, I love that she doesn't leave the dog behind. I love that dog.
Starting point is 00:56:33 No way, dude. It's still a dog. Still a dog. It's still a dog. Still gonna be a good bud. Yeah, all right. That dogs are supposed to be loyal. Switches owners pretty quickly.
Starting point is 00:56:40 Oh, no. They'll do that to you. Yeah. Apple is often eyeing other people up like, should I? Should I just go on this walk? So she takes a gun, the champagne, and the dog. Yep. On to the private jet.
Starting point is 00:56:56 And she's like, hey, they were going to kill me, so I killed all of them and I want to go home. Will you do that? And they're like, uh-huh. We work for you now. And then she eats caviar with the assistant. Yeah, she has the assistant stewardess lady or a flight attendant lady to eat a fucking caviar with her.
Starting point is 00:57:12 And so she starts drinking from the bottle of champagne and the assistant says, how is it? And she goes, it's fucking great. The end. This movie got a lot of hate. You know, I actually didn't love it while watching it, but talking about you, talking about it with you. I really did. So I don't know. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:57:31 I thought it was a fine, like, I understand like there, maybe if you felt slighted by the way that it made fun of liberal elites. That wasn't it. doesn't give that same sting back to the quote unquote deplorables. Yeah. Like they're just presented as human beings. Yeah. Which. That's okay.
Starting point is 00:57:51 They are. Well, just kidding. Just jokes. No, I get it. I get it. I get it. I mean, sure, my daughter has fewer rights than I do now. So maybe I am kind of mad at them.
Starting point is 00:58:01 Sure. 100%. And I get that. I did when I was of reproductive age. Rip. But like, I think it's a fine send-up of fucking elite. liberal people, like, were just disconnected from reality on some level. It is, but you know I love a movie where there's, like, different characters with different
Starting point is 00:58:21 characteristic, like, street fighter or running man. Sure. I just felt like they introduced all of these deplorables. Yeah. And then immediately killed almost all of them. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I would have liked more character building. Obviously, that wasn't the point of the movie, but, like, that's a part I really like about
Starting point is 00:58:38 these movies. For sure. For sure. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. You want all of your different monsters from neon maniacs. I fucking think about that all the time.
Starting point is 00:58:49 They were literally trading cards. It was great. I got a rewatch. Yeah. I'm going to give this a six and a half. What about you? I'm going to give it a solid eight. I had a really good time watching it.
Starting point is 00:59:01 Really? Good for you. I think I'm still mad at liberal elites for thinking that J.D. Vance's dumb book about poor people was reality. Yeah. So like, I was like, yeah, fine. Said that motherfucker on fire. God, he's the least likable person on the planet. Can't wait till he's president.
Starting point is 00:59:17 He won't be because Donald Trump is a terrible human being, but he's got charisma. Oh, yeah, Riz for days. No raise on J.D. Vance. No. He's never going to be president. But he does have the backing of all of the billionaires. It doesn't matter. It doesn't matter.
Starting point is 00:59:30 I have to believe that J.D. Vance will never. I'm not saying that Marco Rubio won't, but it's not going to be J.D. Vance. That guy, nobody can like him. His wife hates him. He hates him. He hates her. I feel like Marco Rubio has object permanence issues. Like as soon as he leaves a room, everyone forgets he exists.
Starting point is 00:59:47 Or that as soon as Donald Trump leaves the room, he forgets that he like once hated him with the fire of a thousand sons. Whatever, dude. So yeah, I enjoyed the hunt. So, uh, yeah, if you're in the mood for rehashing 2020, go back and watch this movie. And who isn't? This is even without the COVID.
Starting point is 01:00:07 Six years ago, 2020 is now. That's banana times. That actually, like, gave me a feeling, you know, like in my, the bowels of my bowels. I was thinking about something the other day and I was like, all right, so that'll be 2030. What the fuck? 2030 is so close. It's so close. We live in future times.
Starting point is 01:00:27 It's bananas. Trying to figure out what year Lucy's going to graduate from school. I can't do the math. She's fourth grade. She's nine now. She's starting fourth grade. so she'll finish fourth grade in 2027
Starting point is 01:00:45 rain 5th 6, 7th, 9th 10, 11th, 12th 8 years Lucille graduate in 2035 Yeah Katie Alan I would like to do this again next week
Starting point is 01:01:00 Should we? I think we should I think the kids are gonna They want it, they want it They want it These kids want it yeah What do you think we should do next week? I think we should do a movie
Starting point is 01:01:10 that honors a fallen hero. Is it Sam Neal? It is Sam Neal. Everyone who worked with him said he was a sweet baby angel. Not a bad word about Sam Neal. Do you ever watch any of those videos where he's hanging out with like sheep and shit on his farm? No. Fucking fantastic.
Starting point is 01:01:24 Oh, God rest his soul. If there's a heaven, Sam Neal's in it. Yeah. Him, June and Johnny Cash, end of list. What about my nun-a? Because Johnny Depp killed her. He did. That's son of a bitch.
Starting point is 01:01:40 Not my Ebenezer Scrooge. No. No. It's George C. Scott. We all know it's George C. Scott. Of course. It's from the past. From the past.
Starting point is 01:01:50 The long flung past. So I'm not talking about fucking John Barrymore. I'm talking about George C. Scott. Alan, when did that movie come out? In the 80s. Yeah. How long ago was that? Ten years ago.
Starting point is 01:02:04 Yesterday. Yesterday. So let's do a Sam Neal movie. A same new movie that is a blind spot for me. Me too. 1981 horror film. Body horror. With a woman who I've had a crush on since I was a child.
Starting point is 01:02:21 What's your name again? Isabel Ajani. Uh-huh. It's called possession. I'm excited. Yeah. Two hours, though. Two hours.
Starting point is 01:02:29 I mean, I did just sit through the fucking Odyssey. I realize I'm going to be singing a dancing song the entire time watching that movie. Tell me. Position. I did get to remember. reference the Verotica screening last night where he said, you guys laughed at things I didn't think were funny. God, I hope he does another movie soon. Please, he's our bread and butter.
Starting point is 01:02:54 It took us so long to be able to watch Death Rider. The thing about this week. Remember I wrote to them asking for a screener and nobody even replied. Who would get back to you from Cleopatra Records DVD sales? Don't have an email address if nobody going to answer it. Oh. Anyway, this was fun. Anyway, this was a hoot.
Starting point is 01:03:15 Let's be nice to each other. Yeah. And ourselves. Yeah. Yeah. It's tough going out there. And not to JD Vance. No.
Starting point is 01:03:23 And Mitch McConnell is definitely dead. Who? Yeah. Turtle, turtle. Turtle. Thanks for listening to another episode of Wearwellf Ambulance. Oh, get us on Patreon. Yeah, Patreon.
