Starting point is 00:00:00 Oh, these are just sound effects. This is a whole movie. It's just sound effects. Do you like it? Oh, I guess you do? Oh, no, no. Oh, these are just sound effects. Do you like it?
Starting point is 00:00:23 Oh, I guess you too? Oh, I guess you do? Oh, no. Oh, no, God. He's joking. What? Did you hear that? Hear what? Was it this?
Starting point is 00:00:34 It sounds like the beginning of one of your Anna drum songs? It sounds like the beginning of one of your on a drum songs. You know, that one where the drums would kick in like... Yeah, yeah. Yeah. So that's weird. Do you guys like movies about sound effects? Do you guys like fully work?
Starting point is 00:01:00 This is a movie. Oh, hi, this is a movie. Oh, oh, this is where we're fabulous. Hey, we're a podcast. I'm Alan. That part you knew. Yeah, you download it. It'd be weird if you didn't know what happened.
Starting point is 00:01:10 Or if you've got this accidentally, like through a ghost on your phone, I'm sorry. Hi, I'm Katie. Hi, I'm Alan. paranormal activity, which is not the movie I thought it was. When you suggested it, we do it? Yeah. Well, I think I must, I definitely saw this, but I think I must have also seen one of the sequels, because I sort of remember like a little girl in a loft bedroom, and there's like a scene that I remember really liking where a camera is on a swivel, but it's moving like in time, you know what I mean? It's not a motion detector And then it's like things are changing as it goes back and forth. Do you remember that at all?
Starting point is 00:01:48 Hmm I've seen the second and third one and that sounds like it's in one of those. Yeah, and I kept being like where are their children? When are they gonna have that child? You know whatever? As usual. As usual, I've messed it up? I'm? their? their? their? they they they they they they they they their? I was their? their? they their? their? their? their? their? their th. their th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. thi. It's is things is things things things are things are things are things are things are things are things are things are things are things usual, come on. I was going to play it off that I had accidentally watched paranormal wactivity, which is on Netflix. What is that? It's a parody of paranormal activity where people are just trying to fuck, we can cuss again. Fuck, fuck, fuck, fuck, fuck. Fuck. Fuck. That's so good, though. Let's work on a song that uses the...
Starting point is 00:02:29 Fuck, fuck, fuck. We're like adults. We're like adults that do this for fun. Yeah, don't watch paranormal wactivity because it's like, oh, it'll be funny, I'll watch a little bit of it to see what's going on. And it just starts with the dude jerking off. That's funny though, isn't it? I mean, I guess it depends on who you ask. I watched this on 2B TV.
Starting point is 00:02:55 Do you know what that is? Nope. 2BTV is like a Tubi. new app you can download for your Roku or I got mine on the you know the thing with the controller that has all the buttons. Xbox? Playstation. Yeah those. Playstation. Wait it's blue has a blue screen. Oh blue box. Blue Station. Yeah Blue Man Group. Fuck. So there's a shit load. I was almost afraid to say shit load, but now I can say shit load. There's a tiny shit. We're recording us immediately after recording the Coraline episode, so please excuse us if
Starting point is 00:03:32 we're being very tentative about swearing. To B TV TV is like Netflix, movies and stuff. And there's just ads on it, but there's a ton of stuff like all of the Friday the 13th movies around th movie th movie there on th movies. there on th movies. there on th movies. th movies. there on., but there's a ton of stuff like all of the Friday the 13th movies around there. There's like 300 horror movies. Oh wow. Yeah, so it's really cool. But a lot of Toyota commercials and they really broke up the tension in this movie. Oh, so okay, so it's like a crackle or something. Yeah, I don't know a crackle is, but it's probably. It's another one of the candy this. It's a candy thiannynynynynynynynyny. It's a candy. It's a candy. It's a candy. It's a candy. It's a candy. It's a candy. It's a cry. It's a cray. It's a cray. It's a cray. It's a cray. It's a coy. It's a coy. It's a coy coy coy coy coy. It's a coy. It's a coy. It's coy. It's coy. It's coy. It's coy. It's a coy. It's a coy. It's a coy. It's a coy. th. A coy. A coy. A coy. A coy. A coy. A coy. A coy. A coy. A coy. A coy. A coy. A coy. A coy. A coy. A coy. A coy coy coy coy coy coy coy coy. But a coy. But a coytoye. But a coytoytoye. But toye. But toye. But toy. But a coye. But a coye. But a coye. But a coy. But a coy. Buthey Special Dark. So you didn't shell up the cash on Amazon for this?
Starting point is 00:04:05 No, I'd already paid for Coraline. Oh, oh, yeah. Correline was on HBO Go. That's what I have. I don't have an HBO. Or HBO now. What's the difference? Go in now?
Starting point is 00:04:15 I guess. They have two talks about game of throwns and Donald Trump and Dogs. That's pretty much my Facebook feed and babies And that the misfits are having a reunion that I didn't even know. That's all over my my Facebook page. I gotta be honest. I don't really care. I don't really no that. I don't really no. I try to be honest. I don't really none of those. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I the th. I don't really th. I don't really th. I don't really th. I don't really th. I don't really th. I don't th. I don't th. I don't th. I don't th. I don't th. I don't th. I don't really th. I don't really th. I don't really th. I don't really th. I don't really th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. don't care. I mean your dogs are fine. I love the misfits. I don't know if I would need to see the 60 year old misfits. Yeah I've been to enough misfits cover shows that I've seen the misspits. I've played in enough misfits cover. Yeah you smush them all together and you've seen the misfits. Yeah. You know it's a really great song to cover is we are 138 because it's literally two notes. Yeah, it's a goodie.
Starting point is 00:05:08 Yeah. So you watch this with a lot of commercials broke up the tension. It wasn't that bad. Okay. I don't think the tension was building as much as I expected. So this movie is directed by Orantelli, who also wrote co-produced, directed, edited, edited, like he's just the mastermind behind this film. Do you know much this movie was made for? $54.
Starting point is 00:05:35 $15,000. Geez. Do you know what this movie pulled in in the box office? A bazillion? $1,193 million. Is that the best investment of all time? It's got to be up there. It's got to be up there.
Starting point is 00:05:50 That's insane. I mean, it's clearly very low budget. It's just Blair Witch thing of like just, it's sort of cam quarters, I guess. People who are not actors. I'm in the today. Katie Featherstone is in a bunch of other movies. Did she get better or?
Starting point is 00:06:08 I don't know. I found these people way less annoying than the Blair Witch people. No, you're wrong. I mean, that might be your opinion, but it's not their opinion. their theyme. I heard that recording's not Mika. Mecca isn't a name. Sure it is. There's that recording artist. Mecca. Some dude, he was pop-go like five, ten years ago. He's the worst. He's such a bro. I guess they're supposed to be like normal everyday people. Yeah, but I hate them. the art. Not the art. It's such a shitty dude. Yeah, he I hate them. Well the movie starts off with that little like static shot of text.
Starting point is 00:06:46 That's a, oh, the thanking the San Diego Police Department. Paramount would like to thank the families of Mika Sloat, Katie Featherston and the San Diego Police Department. That's very play playwright. Which I really like, I like that like, yeah, maybe you could happen upon this movie somehow. Is this real real, thi thi thi thii thi?? thi. Yeah, thi. Yeah, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi. Yeah, thi. Yeah, thi. Yeah, thi. Yeah, tho. Yeah, thi. Yeah, that, that, that, that, oh, oh, oh,this movie somehow be like what is this is this real yeah found footage man and we we start off on September 18th 2006 a good time two thousand six fine you like that time ten years ago the Steelers won the Super Bowl oh who knows earlier that year they did I hadn't moved to Pittsburgh yet so I was not inundated with dealers information.
Starting point is 00:07:26 What year did you move here? 2007. Oh, we became friends like right away. Oh, that's cool. I thought you'd always been here. I mean, not always, but I didn't realize it was so close to your arrival. I'm like Jack Torrance. You go to visit the Pittsburgh Pittsburgh Pittsburgh Pittsburgh Pittsburgh Pittsburgh Pittsburgh Pittsburgh Pittsburgh Pittsburgh Pittsburgh Pittsburgh Pittsburgh Pittsburgh Pittsburgh Pittsburgh Pittsburgh Pittsburgh Pittsburgh Pittsburgh Pittsburgh Pittsburgh Pittsburgh the pit pit pit pit pit pit pit pit pit pit pit pit pit the the the th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. thi, thi, thiou, thiou, th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. Oh, th. Oh, th. Oh, th. Oh, th. Oh, th. Oh, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi. Oh, thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi.'s a picture of me from 1920. Hang on there. That's a cool party you were at, though, on the incline.
Starting point is 00:07:49 When I was like four, I was on the incline with my mom and this like creepy man leaned over. And he goes, the cables only snap sometimes. I don't know why he said it like Tony. But he didn't say it like that, but he said it that that was like, hmm. I think about it every time I look at the incline which is every day of my life because Pittsburgh. Imagine if you just went around terrifying children? Children hurt with their mothers. My mom was like hmm. She was like they probably do. I don't know. You're gonna die someday and I was like, they probably do, I don't know. You're gonna die someday and I was like, yeah.
Starting point is 00:08:26 And here I am now. Totally alive. Totally, mostly alive. So the first note I have is these people aren't as annoying as Blair Witch, which has already been squashed. Strongly disagree. And the second note is actually something I dealt with in the Coraline episode. I wish the idea of ghost didn't spook me out as much as it does.
Starting point is 00:08:49 That's interesting that it freaks you out when you don't believe in it. Yeah, it's really weird, right? It's just this visceral, like, you know, if the house is dark and I'm walking around it, I'm a little bugged out. It might not be the house the house the house's just like fear of the unknown. And also like with ghosts. It seems like there's really nothing you can do about it. It's not like termites, you know what I mean? And that's hit home really hard in this movie because they they attach whatever this this demon to the girl. Do you wish it had been ghosts instead of a demon? Yeah, but demons were real popular then right? Were they? Were they? Well like like ghost ghost ghost ghost ghost ghost ghost ghost ghost ghost ghost ghost ghost ghost ghost ghost ghost ghost ghost ghost ghost ghost ghost ghost ghost ghost ghost ghost ghost ghost ghost ghost ghost ghost ghost ghost ghost ghost ghost ghost ghost ghost ghost ghost ghost ghost ghost ghost ghost ghost ghost ghost ghost ghost ghost ghost ghost ghost ghost ghost ghost ghost ghost ghost ghost ghost ghost ghost ghost ghost ghost ghost ghost ghost ghost ghost ghost ghost ghost ghost ghost ghost ghost ghost ghost ghost ghost ghost ghost ghost ghost ghost ghost ghost ghost hunters were ghost hunters were ghost ghost hunters were ghost hunters were ghost. the ghost ghost ghost ghost. the ghost ghost ghost ghost ghost ghost. the ghost ghost. the ghost ghost. the ghost. the ghost ghost. the ghost ghost. the ghost ghost ghost ghost ghost ghost ghost ghost ghost ghost ghost ghost ghost ghost ghost ghost ghost ghost ghost ghost ghost ghost ghost ghost ghost ghost ghost ghost ghost ghost ghost ghost ghost ghost ghost ghost ghost ghost ghost ghost ghost ghost ghost ghost ghost ghost ghost ghost ghost ghost ghost ghost ghost ghost ghost ghost ghost ghost ghost ghost ghost ghost ghost ghost ghost. the ghost. the ghost hunters. the ghost hunters. the ghost hunters. the ghost hunters. the ghost hunters were like like like like like like like ghost hunters were. the ghost hunters were like like. the ghost hunters were like like like. the ghost hunters were. the ghost hunters were like like like. the ghost hunters were like. the ghost hunters were like. the ghost hunters were. they were like. the ghost hunters were always like, oh, this isn't a ghost. You got a demon. Oh, shit.
Starting point is 00:09:26 Come at me, demon, bro. Oh, shit. Majencos are on fire right now, because there's a demon. Jingos are pretty sweet though, aren't they? I know, too much fabric. They're so, why would you have more fabric? That's so loud. More fabric for your money? Are they coming back? I wondered if they were going to make it come back. I think they're back. I think literally Jinko's brand is back. I remember this woman that I worked with at
Starting point is 00:09:48 Borders books and music. Not coming back. In 1995, Katie. The year of our lord? Yeah. And no no no many. And she literally had Jinkos that were so big you couldn't see her shoes. I like that that. Do you? It it it. It's. It's. It's. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. their. their. th. their. th. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. th. thi. their. their. I'm. I'm. I'm. I'm. I'm. I'm. I'm. I'm. I'm. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. th. I. I. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. the. I. I'm. I. I. couldn't see your shoes. I like that though. Do you? It's a good look. Skinny jeans are just... I just I'm not... I wear them but they're not great for me. It looks like shoving like a cannel open to a condom, you know what I mean? I do too, but it's not what it looks like. Yeah, yeah. That's not what it looks like. Yeah think I miss a boot cut. I think a boot cut really flatters my shape. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Feggy pants just make me look like a mountain. See, you could really take advantage of that though. Like menace people, get cut in line in the bathroom. I feel like my menaic and days are behind me. I feel like clean shaven now. I'm just like, I'm just like, that's a new and newest development though. Yeah, I don't know. Yeah, it's gonna be back in a week. Yeah, it's just be a dick. Be a dick once you get it back.
Starting point is 00:10:47 So these people live together in a house in California. They never have to go to work seemingly. Well, she's a student. She never goes trader. Yeah. So he's just on his computers. But he's not. He's never on his computers. And also day trading is an extremely stressful job and he doesn't seem particularly stressed
Starting point is 00:11:12 by it. And he never wants to see him make a trade. So one thing that may be really happy about this movie. in their bedroom and being a total gross bought 1000. Why are the dudes so gross about video? What about a video camera? Just like, I'm gonna fuck you. You know? You're not Rage, get over yourselves.
Starting point is 00:11:31 You're asking a person who, the idea of seeing myself at a sex tape is the grossest thing I can imagine. I can't even like, why I just don't understand why anybody would want to make a sex tape. Of themselves. That's like the thing looks like, you know, like honeymoon sweets or whatever, having like mirrors on the ceiling. Like who wants to see your butt? Who wants to see your butt? No one. You know that deaf leopard song where he goes,
Starting point is 00:11:54 when we make love, do you look in the mirror? That's the grossest thing. That's the grossest the grossest the grossest the grossest is the grossest is almost the grossest is almost the grossest is almost the grossest is almost the grossest is almost that's th grossest is that's that's th gross gross gross gross gross gross is that's that's that's that's that's the gross gross gross gross gross gross as grossest. That's the grossest. That's thost gross. That's the gross grossest. That's the gross grossest. the gross gross gross gross gross gross gross gross gross gross gross gross gross gross gross gross gross gross gross gross gross gross gross gross gross gross gross gross gross gross gross gross gross gross gross gross gross gross gross gross gross gross gross gross gross gross gross gross gross gross gross gross gross gross gross gross gross gross gross gross gross gross gross as the pearl is almost as the pearl is the Pearl Dambler increases. Seemed recognize your breath. Ew, ew, ew. That's a person who just ate half a bag of white cheddar popcorn. I find that so gross. It feels like coffee and palatosis. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:12:17 It seemed to recognize your breath. But when we make love, do you look in the mirror? Here's a thing that I like to do, though, with songs where love is a nounnionionionionionionionionionionionion, to to to to to to to tooom., to to to to to to to to to to's a thing that I like to do though with songs, with songs where love is a noun instead of a verb, is change it to lunch. We make lunch. Do you like making lunch. I sing that to my cousin Vicky all the time.
Starting point is 00:12:36 Feel like making lunch. Feel like making lunch. BadOO, bow, boom, bow. Feel like making lunch. Bad company is a bunch of them. I can't get enough of your lunch. This is the way no lunches me. I lunch you, Katie. I lunch you, too. Okay, so these people live in this house.
Starting point is 00:13:03 They don't do shit except film each other. Oh, but I would have mentioned, so he's hooking up the camera. Okay, yeah. And he's like, and I'm just plugging the fire wire here and I'm like, firewire? That doesn't exist anymore. I didn't know what that meant. It was a USB and firewire were like the thiiiii. to thi. thir. th. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. toe. thi. thi. too. too. too. too. to to to to to to to to to to thi. thi. to to to to to to to to to to th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. And, th. And, th. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. the. I. to. I. I. I. the. the. I. the. to. to. the. to. to. the. I. to. to. to. to. to. to. I. the. the. the. the. the. Idefinition DVDs or well I didn't even know that VHS and beta max or whatever and firewire was actually faster than USB but USB one out why I'm better marketing I guess so I don't know but yeah I just thought I think because Apple actually said we're going with USB and it was like well Dunn by our P U to you. Firewire I'm sure I'm incorrect on that. It doesn't thir you're? I the the the th. I th. I'm th. I'm th. I'm th. I'm th. I'm th. I'm th. I'm th. I'm th. I'm th. I'm th. I'm th. I'm th. I'm th. I'm th. I'm th. I'm th. I'm th. I'm th. I'm th. I'm th. I'm th. I'm th. I'm th. I'm th. I'm. I'm. I'm. I'm. I'm th. I'm th. I'm th. I'm th. I'm th. I'm th. I'm the th. I'm the the th. I'm the the the th. I'm the the th. I'm th. I'm th. I'm th. I'm th. I'm th. I'm th. I'm th. I'm th. I'm th. I'm th. I'm th. I'm th. I'm th. I'm th. I'm th. I'm the the th. I'm th. I'm th. I'm the th. I'm th. I'm sure I'm incorrect on that. It doesn't matter. You can correct when you want to. We make shit up constantly. That's what this is. We're just talking. Comedy podcast. Feel like making. Maybe it would be cooler if the demon played bad company, Lex. You know what I mean? So they were setting up this camera.
Starting point is 00:14:00 Alan, when I think about you. Think about you. I think about lunch. I think about lunch. If you could have seen the passion in Katie's face. I had to lean away from the mic because I could see you later editing it and like shaking your head and rickling. I'm just going to turn it up. And add reverbs. If I live without you, I live without lunch.
Starting point is 00:14:27 All right. I swear that's it. So they're setting up this camera because since she was eight years old, Katie. Yeah. Our star Katie. Oh, not me. Nothing cool has ever happened to me. Katie Featherston. She has been haunted throughout her life by these occurrences. And she's, later on we learned that she saw a shadowy man in her bedroom. It would stand at the foot of her bed.
Starting point is 00:14:53 And her house burnt down when she was a kid and all this crazy stuff. And it followed her to other houses. Right, when she was 13, it came back and now it's coming back in her 20s. And her boyfriend's like, wouldn't you tell me about this? Because you're a dick, that's why. So the first night, they set up this camera, and they did like the time lapse thing. And then it stops at 2 o'clock in the morning. And we hear like that home, and then keys hit. the that. their the. thrown. their their their th. th. that. the. that. that. thi. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. theat. theat. th. th. th. thi. thi. thi's. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. their their their their their their th. th. th. th. th. th. thi. th. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. theeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee. theeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee. th. thi. thi. thi. thi. th. got a ghost cat. Literally what I said. That's literally what I said. Like halfway through this movie, I was like, these people should just get cats and they will notice none of this anymore.
Starting point is 00:15:28 Like, oh, your shit got moved. Oh, someone slammed a door in the middle of the night? Like, it's just cats. It's just cats. It's me! It's me! It's Glenn! Hi, I'm Jonesy, and my food bowl's empty. So I'm going to take your keys. The next note is, boyfriend is a typical dude. Just so dudely.
Starting point is 00:15:55 He just wants to fight the ghost. And he gets very like, oh, my girlfriend, my house, it's mine, and I'm afraid it myself. Shut up. This, they have a psychic come in and the psychic's like, I'm gonna connect you with my colleague, the demonologist. And he's like, no demonologist, meh! Whatever.
Starting point is 00:16:16 That's why I feel totally confident in saying that spoiler alert, he gets what he deserves. Oh, spoiler alert. Well, we're gonna spoil it. By the way, we're gonna spoil this. Oh yeah. Then they go through... Just days and days and days. Oh yeah, he also tries to record them having sex with and be like, no, no, it's off.
Starting point is 00:16:35 Come on, buddy! You fucking dick? Also, so much of this movie is just them laying in their bed. Yeah, yeah. Also who sleeps with just a sheet? San Diego hot? Right? I know. I've had air conditioning. I don't know. I sleep with a sheet on sometimes. Yeah, but you not a blanket too? No, no, I'll just do a sheet. Oh, how can you live? I'm like, I'm a furnace when I sleep. Yeah, I just feel like a blanket. A blanket. A blanket. I just feel like, a blanket. A blanket out. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I. I. Yeah. I the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I th. I. I th. I th. I th. I th. I. I. I the. I the. I the. I the. I the. I the. I the. I the. I the. Some lyingness and also an idiot. If I have a blanket on, I still have a leg kicked out so the bad guys are going to get me. Oh, you can keep your leg out.
Starting point is 00:17:09 Oh, no, I got to kick it out. the hallway like they did to Katie. Something has to be out there so that the heat can go off of me. I'm a fucking furnace. under the sheen, which happens later in this movie too. So the second night, there's a creaking door. Yeah. Which is creepy, when you go back and watch the next day, you're like, what the fucking Wagnals is going on here?
Starting point is 00:17:36 And he's just like, oh yeah, we did. How do you not call the weekly world news and be like, dog, let's do this? How do thu not call the weekly world news and be like, dog, dog, let's do this? How do you not call anyone? Anyone? What's that the taps the Atlantic Paranormal Society? Yeah, there's got to be a version of that for like San Diego. Yeah. What were their initials be?
Starting point is 00:17:59 Tips. Tips. The Pacific Paranival Society. Ptips, ptips. This goes on for days. Like, not just days in the movie, but days of your life. This movie's only 86 minutes long, but it just felt like I was just watching this forever. I have to tell you right now, at this point in the movie, I'm in. Oh yeah.
Starting point is 00:18:19 I'm spooked out. I'm like, I'm watching. It's kind of late at night, I'm alone, it's just me and the two dogs farting and sleeping next to me on the couch. I'm like, I'm a little spooked, a little spooked, a little spooked, you got me a little spooked your $15,000 is working right now. Sure. I just feel like they show you a lot of nights of this. Yeah, yeah're watching her sleep? You like that?
Starting point is 00:18:45 He also does things like yelling at the demon while she's sleeping, which I really didn't like. There's like that one scene where he's like, hey, come out. I'll get you. And she's like, to the bedroom door and half of the bedroom door. And he's like, to go back to go back to go back, to go, to go, to go, these many, many nights we're watching them sleep. And then there's the banging sounds next or downstairs while they're awake, which is fucking terrific.
Starting point is 00:19:13 Yeah, that's awful. Because even if it's not a ghost, someone's breaking into your house and they're probably going to kill you. Where's his baseball back? For like, what? For like, like your X station? Your playbox? Your blue man group? You have to stop keeping blue man group in your house. So it's just too valuable. Fuck.
Starting point is 00:19:28 So, but he goes downstairs and I'm like, you don't have a machete, a meat cleaver, a cricket bat, a one of those field hockey stick, that's my jam. A bag, a bag of quarters, you just walk it down there unarmed. With those baggy baggy boxer shorts on, buddy. Come on, he's just gonna pan to and knock you down. Yeah. Yeah. Before boxer briefs took her and rain supreme.
Starting point is 00:19:51 They do now, right? I hope so. I hope so. I hope so, I hope. thii, I just don't know why anyone who wears a boxed. . wearing jinkos and I guess in which case you have his face. They were in a flappy sheet around your waist. And then he keeps talking about getting a wigi board? Which you can buy it like Target. But their widgeboards have one purpose and one purpose only. What? They try and talk to Cliff Burton. Is that what the only thing I've ever done with the Wiji board? Yeah. We got one for the bachelorette party of Tara. Tera. Starting point is 00:20:26 and Amanda from the pit. Yeah. We... It follows the Tara did? No, she did um... You're next. You're next. She did your next. Yeah. Starting point is 00:21:13 When you die, do you get Victorian dresses? Does that happen? It's a good question. Well, I don't think you ever saw anything. But some terrible towels fell off our mantelpiece, which is a very Pittsburgh haunting. The water would turn itself on and off, but I think that might have just been a plumbing problem. Sounds like. And he would sometimes smell, we, I would too, sometimes smell perfume, like women's perfume, but also we had a downstairs neighbor. Yeah. Sometimes I smell toast. Yeah, I'm like to smell toast burning. Yeah. Now what am I going to have for breakfast? I don't know. I don't know.
Starting point is 00:21:46 But I'm glad to know that there are no ghosts in my current home. No, but if anybody has contacted Cliff Burton, tell him I said hi. Alan from Pittsburgh. Says hello. He might remember me as Alan from Delaware. I tried to get in tou mess that up. No, no, no, no, it's fine. No, was I 12? No, he died when I was a... Let's see.
Starting point is 00:22:06 Did you check your Cliff Burton? I was 12. I was 12. Yeah, yeah. You don't have a Cliff Burton R. Yeah, I toub's tattoo yet. As soon as I said that I was like, they're mean the meanest. It should have been though. It really should have been James. Oh. What? Just because he's drinking himself to death doesn't mean that like.
Starting point is 00:22:26 Not anymore. Now he's fun Jesus. Oh, well, just because he's using himself to death. Listen, we're all on the slow march to death. You know what I mean? We all get on that boat and we just keep going. It's how you get there to. psychic. Who's a very nice gentleman. Best actor in the movie. Yeah, yeah, really? He's like, yeah. He's definitely like upper echelon of community theater. Yeah. He's like, I'm crushing it right now. This is yeah. But he seemed he's really
Starting point is 00:22:52 like earnest and good and doing what he needs to do. And he believes her. He feels something in the house and he feels that something is wrong and that it's not a ghost he tells her it's a demon right yeah I mean what's a demon I guess meka explains it later but I was kind of like we're all I can think it was that one red hot chili pepper song would they say they got a demon in my seaman I can't believe that's a thing that you think about it makes me think of supernatural episodes oh yeah yeah which I also is not a thing that I can't believe I think about th th th th th th th th th th th th I th I th I th I thin th I thin thin thin thin thin thin thin thin thin thin' thin' the the the the the tho thi thi thi the-I the-I tho-I th th th th the-I th the-I the-I the-I the-I thi thi th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th thi th th thin thin thin thin thin thin thin thin thin thin thin thin thin thin the the theeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee thi thi thing that I can't believe I think about. Why it's so good. Salt and burn. You love classic rock.
Starting point is 00:23:31 I do. You love muscle cars. Ah, sure. You love hunky, hunky dudes killing ghosts. I love all of those things, I guess. Big knives. Sure. No, I hate knives. That's not true. You have every time you pull out. I'm like, th. th. th. th. th. the th. th. th. th. the th. th. th. th. the th. th. th. the th. th. th. the the th. thi, the the thi, thi, the the thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, th, th, th, th, th, th, the the th, th, th, th, thi, thi, thi, th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. the thi. thi. the thi. the thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. th. hate knives. That's not true. It's true. You have every time you pull out, I'm like, please don't. So we skip ahead to night 13. Where at 3 a.m. there's some thudding and scraping followed by a shriek and a crash. Oh, right, right, right. Yeah. So it's definitely cats. They definitely just knocked over whatever whatever was on your table because they're dicks. But they go downstairs and the sh sh sh sh sh sh sh sh- their. their. they they're they're their. they're they're their. they're their. they're their. their. they're they're their. their. their. their. they th. they they th. th. th. thi. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. th. th. th. dicks. But they go downstairs and the chandelier is swinging in their living room. That's very creepy and I think a great effect. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:24:08 So, I mean, they really use that like little bungalow house thing that they have to really good effect. Like, it's the set. There's no place else that they go. And they have a fucking swimming pool. They do have a funnillain for th. We can go to the pool and see Tom Savini though, so it's true. It's true. Oh, pool opens in like two weeks from the time this episode comes out. Are you looking at Heather Featherston's career? Katie Featherstin? Heather. I think you're thinking of Heather. Like camp? No, what's the girl from Blair Witch? Oh, that's right. Her name was Heather. Brian from Wings. She's been in some things, but they're mostly paranormal activity movies.
Starting point is 00:24:50 Jeremy. She was in a movie called Psychic's Experiment, so at least she's not getting pigeonholed. God, there are a lot of paranormal activities movies. Yeah. It costs $15,000 and they made $193 million. How would you not just make, like, I would just make 27 of them at once? That's literally a money printing machine, right?
Starting point is 00:25:13 So then we go ahead to night. So then we go ahead to night 15, where Katie gets up, this is the scariest for me. This is the creepiest thing. She gets up in the middle of the night, stands by the bed for two and a half hours. Yeah. See, when you mentioned that, I was picturing the little girl standing next to, which I think happens in a later movie and I was like, did you really recycle that bit? You know, do they really use that twice? It's super creeps. and your partner were just standing there silently staring at you? Yeah. I went through a sleepwalking phase. No.
Starting point is 00:25:47 Actually in the apartment that was supposed to be haunted. You were the synambolist. I did some, some very stupid things. Really? Like I would go into the bathroom and just like mess with stuff. Do gross things. Really weird. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:25:59 It was a period of extreme stress. Yeah. Which was also very bad because our bedroom is at the top of this extremely steep flight of stairs, if you remember that old apartment. Oh yeah, on the south side, yeah, yeah. That I just could have fallen down at any time. But I would like have a vague memory of having been somewhere else in the house and then in the morning I would see like, what was I doing? Oh my gosh. Was I making a sandwich? tha? tha? tha? tha? tha? tha? tha? tha? tha? tha? tha? th. th. th. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. thi. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah... Yeah.......................................... Yeah...... Yeah. Yeah... Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I. Yeah. Yeah. I th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. the the the the the the the the the the the theterrors of mine. Sleepwalking isn't that bad because you're not really conscious of it. Sleep paralysis seems terrible because you know what's going on, you know. Yeah. And she does sleepwalk and goes out and sits in the back of watch. Yeah. They always say like oh don't wake up a person who's sleepwalking. You should absolutely wake them up. Oh really? You should absolutely wake them up. Okay. Because otherwise they's the the the the the the the the their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. th. their. th. th. th. th. th. to to to to to to their s. S. S. Because otherwise they might just walk outside and drive your car away, which I thankfully never did. Wow. Yeah, that's so scary. It was super sucked, yeah. So,
Starting point is 00:26:50 probably the ghosts though. It's probably the ghosts that made me do it. Or the cats. Oh yeah, I didn't have a lot of cats. Because I always have a lot of cats. So I'm fucked. So when he tries to go outside or tries tries tries tries to bring to bring to bring to bring to bring to bring to bring to bring to bring to bring to bring to bring her their their their their their to bring her their their their their their their to bring their their to bring their their to their to bring their to to their the go the go the go the ghost the ghost the ghost the ghost the ghost the ghost the ghost the ghost the g. the ghost the ghost the ghost the ghost the g. the ghost the ghost the ghost the ghost to to to to to to to their their their their their their their their their to their to th th. the the thi to thr- throooos. thea, tooos. to to thooos. to to thea, thea. to thi thi thi thi thi to go outside, or tries to bring her back inside, he goes up to get a blanket in and then hears a loud crashing noise and give, bro runs right at it. Yeah, who does that? Who does that? I guess that's what you say you're going to do is right at it. Okay, fine. Just run right at it. Sure. Jason Borese is running at him. Yeah, I just wanted a hug. I don't know why Chariets of Fire is playing, but I imagine that it is. The most embracing of all songs. Isn't it though? Duh, the TV's on and there's just all this crazy shit going on in the house. And then this kind of just repeats and repeats and repeats forever. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. And the. And the. And the. And the. And the. And the. And the. And the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the house. And then this kind of just repeats and repeats and repeats. Forever. Yeah. Until Katie does the standing thing again.
Starting point is 00:27:52 Yeah, and then walks to, well, oh, he does a powder. He puts powder on the floor. Yeah, and he tells her if this doesn't work, she can call the demonologist. And I was like, lady just call the demonologist like you don't need his you have agency permission. Yeah. I don't I don't like him at all. No, he's too controlling He's too controlling and he just It felt like it was a manipulative. Yeah, there's like a money thing going on he's the one making the money while she's in school He's laying down the law. It's been the man of the house real dick. Yeah, and why didn't you tell me about that. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. the th. thi. thi. the thi. thi. the the thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. the the the their their he's hea. hea. hea. hea. hea. he's hea. to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to hea. to hea. he. to he. to he. he. the the the the the the they. they. the they. the they. they. the they. to to to to to to to to to to to to to to toe. to to toe. to toe. to to toe. to to to to to to to to about this? Because you would think I was crazy. Yeah, yeah. Their relationship is deteriorating day by day as this goes on. Which is okay by me because in the opening scenes where it shows them being very intimate,
Starting point is 00:28:35 you know how I feel a lot intimacy. I was wondering if the smoopy stuff is getting to me. The smooth stuff really got to me. But even up until the powder on the floor in the floor on the floor on the floor until the powder on the floor scene, I'm still on board. I'm still in. Because it's like, oh, this is creepy. I don't like loud banging noises.
Starting point is 00:28:50 I don't like things in the middle of the night. But then as soon as they do the powder scene and you see the footprints? You didn't like that? No, and I'm like, it's too, it's too, it's too, it's too, it's too, it across the line it made it made it me whatever it is too concrete and it just like was like I don't care anymore yeah but although they're like she's like it's doing that to show us it can like well that was the whole setup wasn't it yeah but he goes up into the attic and he finds a photograph of Katie right from when she was eight
Starting point is 00:29:23 years old and that was taken from her house that burnt down and the picture is the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th the the the th just just just just just th th just just just th just just th th just just just just just just th th th just just just just just just th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th just just just just just just just just just th th th th th th th th th th th th. th. th. th. th. th. the the to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to ty. too to to too to too to too thi the thi thi eight years old, and that was taken from her house that burnt down. And the picture is scorched maybe? Yeah. Yeah. Why, Katie, though? Oh, wait, they'll say later that is totally random. Right, right, right. Right.
Starting point is 00:29:37 that's just bad luck. Also, the Weegee board internet search and find. For Diane. Diane. Like in the saw episode? I don't know. Oh, do you think Carrie Ellis was somehow involved in all this? He does love to make low budget movies that make a Brazilian dollars. I just, I hope that the actors like got like residuals or something like got some sort of like... Hopefully in the next movies they commanded a higher salary because she's in at least four more. Yeah. Unfortunately I don't think my man is. Oh right because he dies at the end.
Starting point is 00:30:12 Spoilers. And her whereabouts are unknown. I don't remember her being in any of the other movies. I don't know now I don't know which ones I've seen. I just don't know anything anymore. The psychic the psychic the can't get a hold of the demonologist and he's like, oh I can't do nothing for you dog. I gotta bounce. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:30:30 And he bounces. And he bounces. Another night of Kady is standing beside the bed and then she walks downstairs. And there's been other bumps and crashes in the night and all this. Oh sure. So there's a really good scene where she gets drug out of the bed and I don't know how they do it and it's really cool looking. She's like gets drug out of the bed. By her leg and down the hallway, yeah. And a door slams.
Starting point is 00:30:50 An unseen force. I just want you to know that Mika's been in Paranormal Activity 2 and Paranormal Activity, the marked ones. These are all the people that have been marked. It's in the anthology series. Here's Diane. And then, hey. So on this final night, she stands by the bed and then she goes downstairs and then she screams for Mika. And he goes downstairs and he's like, oh God, and he's screaming for Katie. And then he scream screams. Yeah. And then there's a thud. And there's stompy, st stompy st stompy st stompy st stompy st st st st st st stompy st st st st stompy st st st st st stompy st stops. the sti sti sti sti sti sti sti sti. they. they. they. they. they. they. they. they. they. they. they. the the the the the they. they. they. they. they. they. they. they. they. they. they. they. they. they. they. they. they. they. they. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. ti. ti. ti. ti. ti. tiaaa. tia. tia. tia. ty. ty. ty. ty. ty. ty. ty scream screams. Yeah. And then there's a thud and then there's stompy, stompy, stompy back up the steps. Which takes forever. Like
Starting point is 00:31:31 she like walked up and then back down and then back up again. A lot of steps. And you suddenly see Mika's body flying at the camera, knocking the camera down and then Katie comes over and she's covered in blood and she sniffs all around him and then smiles at the camera and makes a demon face yeah and then we cut to the end text which is that he his body was found three days later and her whereabouts are unknown yes apparently there were three different endings to this movie really and I saw one of the other alternate endings the first time I saw this like clue which is literally which is a the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the th. th. thi. It thi. It's is literally is literally thi. It's is literally s. It's is literally s. Oh, really? And I saw one of the other alternate endings the first time I saw this.
Starting point is 00:32:06 Like Clue. Which is literally my favorite movie ever made. Have you ever seen Murdered by Death? No. It's a Neil Simon. And it's basically Clue before Clue. And it's got like David Niven and Peter Falk. But not Tim Curry or Michael McKeon. No, but it's, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, thu, thu, thu, thu, thu, thu, the, the, thus, the the the the the the the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, th, th, th. I I I th. I th. I th. thu, thu, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi. the. theat, the thi. thi. the the the the thi. the the thi, which is have Truman Capote and it's fantastic. All right, I'll look into it. Clue tips. If you like clue, you might also like. Alan Flix. Yeah, it's not bad. I bet you're offering
Starting point is 00:32:36 me better than Netflix is lately. It's an algorithm. Everybody gets one. Everybody gets one. I have to look up the other endings real quick. Oh yeah, I'd like to know what they are. So there is the original ending, which is she goes downstairs, there's a scream, and then Katie comes back upstairs and she just rocks. She just sits and rocks and then her friend comes over and she's like, what's going on man? And then the cops go over and like, what's going on, man? She's in a catatonic state and it sounds really convoluted and annoying.
Starting point is 00:33:14 There's like a slamming door like in the cop's face and stuff and. What happens to Mika? He did. Okay, He dies. Does he die in each of the endings? I would really like that. Yeah. Oh good. So the other ending that I saw is the same thing with Mika's body hitting the camera. And she approaches the camera and then slits her own throat to the camera. Whoa. Where did you see that? I don't know the first time I saw this movie that was the ending that I sawed. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. the. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. thi. th. thi. th. th. th. thi. thi. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. the th. th. th. th. th. th. th. the the th. the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the th. the. th. th. th. the. the. the. the. theee. theeeeeeeeeeeeeeee. thee. theee. the. the. the. the. the. the. this movie that was the ending that I saw. But I was like oh that's a really good ending but if you end it that way there goes your franchise. That's true. So I don't know I mean. That's a brutal ending to the movie throwne. I think you're supposed to feel sad about Katie. Because I think you're supposed to feel sorry for her.
Starting point is 00:34:07 Sure. She's put upon. Yeah, for sure. But she's also making bad choices, like letting this guy run her life. You know what I mean? You know what I mean? Like he's telling her the calling atoys, you know what I mean? I guess. So do we want to move on to the rating space? Yeah, that's fine. All right.
Starting point is 00:34:36 You go first? Yeah, I'll go first. I really like the first half of this movie. I get, it's good and spooky. It's got the spook time's going. It just starts to fall apart after a while. It's just gets really samey. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the their. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.'s got the spook times going. It just starts to fall apart after a while. It's just, it's really samey. There is so much of them in bed. Like, it's like we paid for this bed. You're gonna be in it a while. It's a very nice bed. It's huge. It's huge.
Starting point is 00:34:55 It's like a California king. And they are in California and they do appear appear appear appear appear appear appear appear appear appear appear appear appear appear appear appear appear appear appear appear They do appear to be royalty. Yeah. Yeah. Um, I'm going to give this a five. That's fair. I think it's a right in the middle of the road. Like the fact that they made it for 15 grand is I think it's very impressive.
Starting point is 00:35:11 Yeah. And then they made a per-sillion dollars on it. And I don't think that the me, maybe I'm just, you know, I don't know. We don't like people from the 90s. I don't like undercuts. You're more into boxer shorts. Along with Jenko's, the undercut is back in a big way. I mean, we all deserve to suffer. So, but yeah, five.
Starting point is 00:35:39 Yeah, I'm with you. It's an enjoyable premise for sure. And I think it builds tension pretty well. It does get super repetitive. But it is, like I said, only 86 minutes, which I can really get behind. Right, right. It's shorter than episode of Foils War. Which I can really get behind. I can get behind like six of them in a row.
Starting point is 00:35:56 And then I'm like, that was? I won't, thank you. He says I won't thank you. Really? I don't notice that. I won't. Thank you. Do you notice that he does that thing where he's like about to leave the room and then he's like one more thing. Yeah, he columbos. Yeah, it's a very columbo thing to do. And when he's thinking he chews on his lips. Yeah, he has a lot of he's a he's a he's a lot of like like like of like of like of like of like of like of like of like of like of like of like that like that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that's like that's like that's like that's like that's like that's like that's like that's like that's like that's like that's like that's like that's like that's like that's like that's like that's like that's like that's like that's like that's like that's like that's like that's like that's like that's like that's like that's like that's like he's like he's like he's like he's like he's a he's a he's a he's a hea. I hea. He's a hea. He's a he he he he he he he he he that's a he that's a he he he that's a hea. He's a he's a he's a that's a lot of where he's like, hmm? Yeah. Anyway, Foils War. Honeysuckle Weeks. That's Sam? That's her name? Honeycycle weeks. Poor thing.
Starting point is 00:36:32 I am going to give Foils War a 10. Oh, of course. And I'm going to give paranormal activity a six and a half. Oh, wow. I think it's pretty, I mean, this is again on my table of movies what I reach for it. Sure, why not? And I would definitely watch the sequel, because I remember being like legitimately afraid of one of the sequels. The sequels are better than the original. Some of them are.
Starting point is 00:36:52 I've seen like the first two or three sequels, yeah, they're better. I need to figure out which one it was that I house that were sort of open and just being like something is going to happen, something is going to happen. And I normally jump scares I get like kind of pissing about but I remember just being like, yeah, what? You know, yeah. Yeah, six and a half. All that could have been worse.
Starting point is 00:37:24 The movie? All of it. You know, it could only be better, Katie. What? Crypto curiam. Crypto-carium. It's so good. We have something for this one, right?
Starting point is 00:37:38 Yeah. It's a parcel of terror. I don't want to scare you. You just pulled that knife out. You do it so fast. It's like, thanks. Would it be better if I just went. Kind of. He's doing it really slowly. Nope, that's now he's menacing me.
Starting point is 00:37:53 Exactly. I try to get it out and over with it as fast as possible. There's a middle ground. there's a middle ground. Yeah. This is a, this looks like a Mike Bukowski. Yes, created by a cryptoccuria guest artist Mike Bukowski. See more of Mike'sG-S-O-T-H dot blog spot.
Starting point is 00:40:25 Better than I spell it than say it. Are you ready to look at this? Are you ready for a bunch of pig titties? Yeah, because we got pig titties. Mike, you creeper? What are you doing with this stuff? Look at all them pig titties. That's great.
Starting point is 00:40:45 That's beautiful. What? I don't know what Jody is though. From Amityville Harrah, she's the little kid's friend that they finally see in the window and it's like a pig with red eyes and it's fucking terrifying. No memory of that. We have one more thing in the bag, Katie. What is it? Oh shit, you can have that because I eat too much candy or too much popcorn and I feel I'm going to throw up. I don't know if I can feel the bag that it's in.
Starting point is 00:41:07 How do you eat that? I don't know. Oh, it's so gross. It's so gross. It's so gross. Thank you so much for it. Yeah, this is amazing stuff. to you.
Starting point is 00:41:28 Start your own cryptozoology collection. Be a weirdo. Yeah, like embrace it. Step your game up. You're not being weird enough. Yeah, you could be we're a little weirder. Yeah, we all. to be a little crazy. Seal?
Starting point is 00:41:45 Yeah, that's the one. All right. All right. So Mike. You like seal? Why is that so funny? You know what's better than chewing your own face off? What? Zenes?
Starting point is 00:41:58 A second sponsor? A second sponsor. It's the aforementioned Mike Bukowski. Oh, I love Mike Bukowski. His small-scale publishing house, Seventh Church Ministries, which basically takes crazy horror literature and brings it into the light. Yeah. They do, he does the illustro obscuring series, which I think is probably their most... That's all the Lovecraft monsters and yeah that stuff's really awesome. Yeah, the stuff that people know them for but he's recently been
Starting point is 00:42:26 expanding to include new artists new material the one you should be ready for is Johanna Ost's zine of various ghost stories which is coming out Friday June 17 at 11 a.m and they sell it fast so if you want it get in there quick yeah what it's called Fantasma Goria. Fantasmagoria. It's all Victorian era, ghost stories. That's the scary era. That's what you're talking about with a ghost who are haunting your home. It's one of my favorite, my favorite ghost stories are from them. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:42:56 You like that Lord Dunsonie. Or Dunceini, if you're a little bit more annoying that I am. It's like the internet but in paper form. It's like what the internet was before we had paper. No, it's like what paper was before we had the internet. Scratch that, reverse it.
Starting point is 00:43:29 But they're always beautiful. I've gotten a bunch of these and they're just, they're gorgeous. So you guys should definitely get involved. How do you buy them? You go to Mike's blog. It is seven church ministries.wrest.com and seventh is spelled out. Spelled out. And church ministries.
Starting point is 00:43:50 And make sure you are there on June 17th at 11 a.m. Eastern standard time. I don't want to hear it Pacific Central. Pacific Central, not a time zone. Mallon left time. I don't want to hear it from you. Yeah, GMT. Get your Greenwich out of my dick. Katie, can we do a movie that I've wanted to do for a while? That's absolutely absurd and it's from 1986.
Starting point is 00:44:16 Um, 1985? Didn't we hear to do that one? A couple times over. This is arguably the most heavy metal horror movie that's ever been made? Tell me about it. It's called demons. Okay. It's by. It's by. It's by. It's by. It's by. It's by the th. It's by the the th. Get th. Get th. Get th. Get th. Get th. Get th. Get th. Get th. Get the th. It's a spicy meat ball. Produced by your beloved Dario Argento. My beloved and yours. It's got an amazing heavy metal soundtrack.
Starting point is 00:44:41 It's got demon. It's got movie punks. Does it have Italians? It's got demons. It's got movie punks. It's got... Does it have Italians? Oh it's got Italians, it's got Germans, it's got whatever you need? It has spoiler alert, a line where a person says, I don't read Latin, oh wait, yes I do. Did they forget or like, how does that work? There's a horror movie within a horror movie that happens in this movie. Oh my god, okay. If you think I can handle it, I don't think you can but I think it's really fun to talk about. Okay, good. So this is gonna be another movie from 1980s.
Starting point is 00:45:14 Fine. The mid-1980s that Alan will love and I'll be like what? I think tune in. You you you you you you you you you you you. tune in. tune. tune. tune. th. thune. thune. thune. thu. thu. thu. thu. thu. thu. thu. tune. tune. tune. tune. tune. tune. tune. tune. tune. tune. tune. tune. tune. tune. tune. tune. tune. tune. There's just a spectrum and I need to be somewhere on it. There's just a spectrum and I need to. I don't know if there's enough street fight. There is a fucking Kittatau wi thi. thiiii. thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, to thi, to to thi, to to to to to to to to to to to to their, their, their, to to to to to to their, their, their their their their their their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, thi, thi, thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thau. thau. thau. thau. thau. thau. thau. thau. thau. thau. thi, thi, thi, thi. thater. We haven't done enough Italian movies, we need to get in there. Yeah, are you sure? For as much as I love them, we have a time though. It's true. So this is another iteration of our recent addition segment. What? Mail bag. You do it so much better than I do. This one comes from our friend Dave 8 cylinder,
Starting point is 00:46:12 whose music has appeared in an episode that I do not remember. It was very early on. Dave's stuff is great though. Dave stuff is great and Dave is great. Dave says, if I'm not mistaken, he wrote this to Alan. Yeah, if I'm not mistaken, you and Katie were conflating to to to do to do to do to do to do to do to do to do it so to do it so th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th th th th the the the the, you th so much so much so much so much th so much th so much thi thi, you th so much th so much so much so much so much so much so much so much so much so much so much so much so much th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. the the the the the the thi. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. theeate. theeeateeeeeeeate. theeeeeeeat the. the. the. the. the. th great. In the original version of Boomastick by Shaggy, he says Mr. Lover Lover Lovah. But it doesn't end with a Shaba. However, Mr. Loverman followed by a response of Shaba. Shaba. He provided us links to the YouTube videos of both, which much appreciated. So brilliant.
Starting point is 00:46:49 Thank you, Dave. He's such a genius. Such a good guy. He's the best. Yeah. So if you want to be featured on a future segment of Mailbag, you can't. You can email us. thooo. or send us a Facebook message or you know whatever. Yeah. You know how to find us. We stop. We stop telling you about it.
Starting point is 00:47:05 We're gonna have a P.O. box soon, too. So you'll be able to send stuff there. Where we made a money? We've got two sponsors now. We're rolling in it. Rolling, rolling, rolling. But you could find all that stuff on the internet. Thanks for listening to another episode of Wherewolf Ambulance. Bye. Bye. you you know, you know, you know,
