Starting point is 00:00:21 Yeah, 41 grams of sugar in a can. Oh, God. I felt something happened to me with that sip. What is the flavor though? Citrus. Oh, I see. Or sugar? A blend of orange and tangerine juices from concentrate and other ingredients. What, that's not? You can't say that, can you? That's a rare can, though, tho.

It's really 41 grams of sugar.
Starting point is 00:01:10 It's all, I mean it's coating my teeth strangely. You got sugar sweaters on. I like it. I'm actually had them growing up. When that like off-brand, high-see, it was like high five or something. You know what I mean? Got it at a trader horns? Trader horns? Yeah, did you not have trader horns?
Starting point is 00:01:34 No. It was like just a junko store. You see why I drink the sectal floor? This is Dece. I like how the this print doesn't match up. No, they did not even try. I like how you were trying to start this episode and I'm still talking about extra cooler. Well, it was originally packaged in those paper juice boxes. Like a capri-son or like a square one. Yeah, like a mott apple. Thank you for tuning in to another episode of where will fan. I don't know why you keep to to if you had to tune into this?
Starting point is 00:02:05 It's Monday at 6 a.m. Everybody gather around the stereo. I'm Alan. I'm Katie. Hello. Hey. How are you? How are you? Hi. See? You're going to be so sugar insane in a second. I can't wait. I'm I. I. I. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. It. It's. It's. It's. It's. It's. It's this can. Of course. Katie, what are we here to talk about this week? Ectocoolers. No. Well, I'm doing a poor job then because I've just been talking about ecto coolers. Excuse me. We are talking about the 2016. Yeah. That's this year guys. This vintage film hush. Which is on Netflix, which you know because...
Starting point is 00:02:45 I thought I had to call my name now. I like how the last Hush was just like, huh? That song takes on a different meaning if you thought someone was calling your name and you were like, huh? Now it's starting into that Paul Simon song, song, hmm, you can call me, Al. Yeah, that's the one. I will not surprise you to find that I sing that to Glenn. You can call me Glenn.
Starting point is 00:03:13 Oh, okay. He can be my bodyguard. And Glenn Man, when you call me, you can call me Glenn. Why do I talk about the cat so much? It will not surprise you that being a child named that that that song. I never thought about that. It was weaponized against me. That's terrible. No one should ever use Paul Simon against anyone. When I was a little girl I had a pair of goldfish that I named Simon and Garfunkel. Oh did they not get along? They were constantly fighting and they just neither of them would die. He got to the point where I was the their I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I was the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the th. th. th. th. th. they they they were th. they were they were they were they was they was th. th. th. th. they were they were they were they were they were they were they were they were they were they were they were they were they were they were they were they were they were they were they were they were they were they were they were they were they were they were. they were. they were. they were. they were. they were. they were. they were. th. th. th. th. th. th. to to th. to to to t. t. to. te. te. to. te. te. to. te. te. te. te. te. te. te. te. te. them would die, honestly. It got to the point where I was like, just sick of feeding them. I'd had them for years, they just wouldn't die.
Starting point is 00:03:46 Wait, I thought you were actually commenting on Simon Garfunkel, neither of them will die. I'm not sure. I'm not, I don't want either of them to die, honestly. If I hear the song, I'm not, I'm thr. I'm th. I'm not. I'm not. I'm not. I'm not. I'm not. I'm not. I'm not. I'm not. I'm not. I'm not. I'm not. I'm not. I'm not. I'm not. I'm not. I'm not. I'm not. I'm not. I'm. I'm. I'm. I'm. I'm. I'm not sure. I'm not. I'm not. I'm. I'm. I'm. I'm. I'm. I'm. I'm. I'm. I'm. I'm. I'm. I'm. I'm. I'm not. I'm not. I'm not. I'm not. I'm not. I'm. I'm. I'm not. I'm. I'm. I'm not. I'm not. I'm not. I'm not. I'm not. I'm not. I'm not. I'm not. I'm not. I'm not. I'm not. I'm not. I'm not. I'm not. I'm not. I'm not sure. I'm not sure. I'm not sure. I'm not sure. I'm not sure. I'm not sure. I'm not sure. I'm not sure. I'm not sure. I'm not sure. I'm not sure. I'm not sure. I'm not. I'm not. I'm not, I'm like getting choked up. Oh. It's song, it just makes me so sad. What about me and Julio down at the school yard? That's fine. What about, hello, dark, not my own friend? Doesn't make me a sad as America.
Starting point is 00:04:12 Yeah. They've all come to look for America. You should make my voice pooped I is barely a camera. You know what would be good if you guys were deaf, so you didn't have to hear this? God. That's a segue, right? Yeah, into talking about the film, Hush, from 2016.
Starting point is 00:04:38 I'm glad you guys aren't deaf. This movie tapped into a lot of my fears, Katie. Yeah, I believe it. Home invasion? Yep. Big fear for the Hitchman. The idea of, how has this never, well, wait, has it actually been done before? Like a deaf person? Yeah. Not that I know of.
Starting point is 00:04:56 You can ask that internet. I've meant to look this up last night. I apologize for doing it now. There is a, I th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. thu. thu. thu. thi, thu. thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, that is a, that, th. th. that, thi, that, that, that, th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. this, this, th. Well, this, this, th. Well, th. Well, th. Well, th. Well, th. Well, th. Well, th. Well, th. Well, th. Well, t. Well, t. Well, t. Well, t. Well, t. Well, tode, toda, toda, today, today, today, today, today, today, today, today, today, today, today, today, that. thi. thi. thi. There is a, I think there's an Audrey Hepburn blind movie where her home gets invaded. That sounds familiar. Oh yeah, there's Wait Until Dark. But is she, yeah, wait until dark is. So it's sort of like that, but the idea of being deaf,
Starting point is 00:05:15 like there's so many scenes in this movie that are just like, so terrifying because of her being deaf. Do we want want want want want want want want want want want want want want want want want want to to to submit to submit to submit to submit then thome thome thome thome thome th. th. thus thus thus. thus. thus. thus. th. thus, th. tho thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, th. th. thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. to to to to to to to to to to to to to toooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo. toe. to the. th we want to submit this film? Sure, I think we can do that real quick. This lady lives in a house in the middle of nowhere. Beautiful house. Beautiful house, beautiful lady. Yeah, beautiful neighbor. Everything's great. Except it isn't because this guy comes to her house to home invade her. Yeah, what you would call it? Yeah. I guess he's home invaded the neighbor first. He just seems to be on a murder spree. Yeah for like no reason I guess. Which is scary because at least have a reason. For sure. So he kills the next-door neighbor, Sarah. And then she runs, I think the scary scene in the
Starting point is 00:06:00 movie is her running down to Maddie, the deaf woman's house and banging on her window. God and she and she and she and she she she she she she she she she she the the the the the the the the the the their th. their th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. the. thease just seems thi. And she just is like cleaning up her kitchen, just can't hear it at all. Which did drive me insane, because does she also not have any peripheral vision whatsoever? Yeah. So her friend comes, Sarah comes and she's banging the window, Maddie doesn't see her, and then she gets murdered. And then the murder turns his sights on Madie. And she. And she. And she. And she. And she. And she. And she. And she, the the the the the the the the the the the the the the th. the th. th. the th. th. th. the th. th. th. th. the th. thi. Oh, the thi. God. God. God. God, th. God. God. God. And, thi. And, thi. And, the. And, thin. And, the. And, thin. And, thean. And, thin. And, thean. And, thean. And, thean. And, thean. And, theananan's is just just just is just is justthen she gets murdered. And the name of it is murdered, yeah? And then the murder turns his sights on Maddie.
Starting point is 00:06:28 Yeah, and that's pretty much the rest of the movie. Yeah. A couple things. Yeah. I mean, I guess we have to have several things if we're going to make this into an episode. Of course. I have some stuff to that Stephen King has some sort of contract where he has to be referenced in every horror movie ever?
Starting point is 00:06:46 Yeah, I don't know. I don't think so? No. I think he's just the king. He's literally the king of horror. Or is he the king in one way or another? Ah! Aah?
Starting point is 00:06:54 Acktookoolour! No, I mean, I just feel like every movie literally references Stephen King in one way or another. He tweeted about this film. Did he like it? He's big on the Twitters. Oh, is he? I don't think I want to follow him. I don't think I want to know.
Starting point is 00:07:12 And he loved this movie. He loved this movie. He put it in the Pantheon alongside Halloween for Slash. Whoa. Which spoiler alert, I also really like those movie. Yeah, me also do you listen to the podcast radio lab With the radio show, it's one of them NPR shows I feel like I should get into NPR shows, but it's too daunting for some reason I don't know where to begin. Oh, I give you 4,000 of them like what do you want from me? You know? I highly recommend radio lab if you can get past all of the like they're very into a thua. thua. the their th. their their their they're their they're their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their to their to to to their to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their to to their th. th. their th. So are we though to be fair. Yeah yeah yeah or is that a cool a shaker? I don't know what a cool a shaker is. It's a good cover. It's a sudden I know what you did
Starting point is 00:07:54 last summer. Is that a band name? Yeah maybe it's cool as Shakur I don't think I don't think it's too poxed Shakur I don't. I don't think I th. I th. I don't know anything. You know what this ectoclor needs is vodka? I feel like it would mix really well with vodka. We have some downstairs. I the next episode might be a little slurry. Well the latest episode of Radio Lab is about a crime that happened in the Adirondacks in upstate New York which is like tapping into most fear. Number two of there were a bunch of kids who were camping in the woods and at nine o'clock in the morning, some guy comes knocking on their tent, unzips it and goes, hey, I need to see you guys out here. Then holds everybody at gunpoint, puts them in different areas,
Starting point is 00:08:35 and murders one of the kids, and then he just walked off into the woods are awful. This is why the woods are awful though. I knew, yeah, I felt like this was going to, but like I would love to live in that house that she lives in. I would love to live in it if it was in a city. Oh no, away from everybody. The city burned her. She had to leave. It was too much. It was too loud. It was a good joke. There's a lot of good joke th joke th joke th joke th joke. th joke. th joke. th joke. th joke. th joke. th joke. th joke. th th th th th th thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi tho thi thi. thi thi thi thooo thoo thoo tho tho tho tho thi thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. to to to to to to thi. thi. to thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. theeaaa. thea. theaa. thea. thiiiiiaa. thia. th a lot of good jokes on her her handicapped. Along with her being a Stephen King reference, there's always a cat. Always a cat. Yeah. It wasn't used for that cat effect. No, I kind of expected it to. I was sort of disappointed that it didn't pop out of a cabinet. Like, why was your cat in that cabinet? I don't know. Do we imagine we're going to do spoilers? We're going to do spoilers. You guys don't know that by now. Hang up.
Starting point is 00:09:25 I would have named that cat Mr. Flufford, Nutter. Wouldn't you? I would have named it Wilford Brimley. Oh, that's cute. It's good. Because he died recently? No, no. I think my third note is, holy shit, this is terrifying. When the guy's just standing outside and she's got her back to the fucking door,
Starting point is 00:09:51 don't ever sit with your back to a door. He's wearing that scary mask, which looked like someone I know, which looked like someone I know, but I can't figure out who it is, which was, I was finding very disconcerting. He did or the masked it. Yeah, it was something something something something something something something somethingthe mouth that look like someone I know and I kept being like, who's that killer? Who, when you see them in person and it clicks. I'm going to kill them with my crossbow.
Starting point is 00:10:12 Because why is it always a crossbow? Silent. Uh, well, are you on her house from the neighbor's house. Crossbow is just like so inconvenient. Yeah. Especially if you don't know how to load it. Which is a great portion of this movie is learning how to load a crossbow. Also a large portion of this movie is an Apple ad. Oh yeah, yeah. It's just like, and I, it's great that she has all this technology that she can use as a deaf person.
Starting point is 00:10:46 But it was just like, hey, Apple can do it for you? Did you feel like that? I did, but I also felt like, yeah, the same thing about like, it's really cool that that that whole world is open to her because ofing must just open up this whole like universe, you know, like... Did Steve Job invent texting? I don't know if Steve Job did it. I like that you drop the S-off his name. What you mean?
Starting point is 00:11:14 Steve Jobs? It's there. Did Teeth Job do that? What a guy. What a turtle? Oh, why? Why? Why? Doesn't matter what Teev Job wears. Where's what he wears? You're friends with Stephen Kang? Probably, honestly.
Starting point is 00:11:30 Probably. This movie made me hopeful for the comeback of bootcut jeans. Because she was wearing bootcut jeans and they look nice and it's a new movie. So I feel like hopefully that's where we're going. Along with this movie being 80% an apple ad, I think it's the other 20% is butts walking. Yeah, a lot of butts walking. A lot of butts walking. That actually comes in useful later in the film. In what way? When she remembers that her friend had her phone in her butt pocket.
Starting point is 00:11:59 She flashes back to her friend's butt pocket. He like gross stab fucks the friend. Did you find that extremely disconcerting? He's just like, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, I was already sad that the friend was dying so, folks. So we're introduced to the friend, Sarah, she comes over to return Maddie's book which she has written. Oh right, Maddie's a writer. And I believe a horror writer as well. Yeah, or mystery, seemingly, yeah.
Starting point is 00:12:26 Sarah is really trying to learn sign language that she can communicate better with her friend. And it was like, oh, you just found a way to make this character immediately endearing. It's the save the cat moment. She doesn't even have to save the cat. She's just like, look at her, she's, look, look, look, look, look, look, look, look, look, look, look, look, look, look, look, look, look, look, look, look, look, look, look, look, look, look, look, look, look, look, look, look, look, look, look, look, look, look, look, look, look, look, look, look, look, look, look, look, look, look, look, look, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, worked out. Yeah, and I think the same thing about having the character Be deaf makes them sort of like They were in a hole that they would have had to climb out of to make her shitty. Yeah, you know what? You know what? You know what? I mean, to automatically have like a sympathy for her. Especially I think because she lost her today
Starting point is 00:12:58 their teenager from meningitis. Right. And she had recently lost her handsome boyfriend, Craig, as well. It seemed like Craig might have wanted to get back together. Yeah. Were you sad that they never wrapped up the Craig storyline? I've wanted Craig to show up? I've wanted Craig to show up. And then I thought Craig was going to save the day. And then I thoo, spoiler, the thin, neither, neither, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, to to to to to to to to to to to to too, to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to thi, the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the, the the. Oh, well I'm glad Craig's alive. Maybe she'll get back together with him now
Starting point is 00:13:25 because she's sad. That's not a good reason to get back. No, no, she doesn't need to. She's a goddamn badass. Yeah. Did you feel like, a quick diversion from talking about the movie? Did you feel like this movie was like, saw your next?
Starting point is 00:13:38 We could take take out a lot of the comedy and increase the fingers being slammed in things. Yeah. And also let's make it so dark. I love that there's no motivation for this. And your next one like the motivations revealed like, oh I guess, okay. Yeah. But like the idea of just the like just the killer. Just that's why that story on Radio Lab like the dude turns out the dude was just insane yeah that's like the strangers too it's a home invasion film where these people just break in and kill you just for the sake of killing you oh really yeah is the strangers like funny games tell me about funny games and tell me about funny games and the the the the. Tell me about funny games and tell me about funny the the the the funny their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their funny their to to to told. told. their funny. their funny. their funny. their funny. their their their their their is their is their is their is their is their is their is their is their is their is their is their is. their is their is their is their is their is their is. their is their is. their is. their. their. tell. tell. tell me. tell me. tell. tell me. tell. tell me. tell. tell me. tell me. tell me. tell me. tell me. tell me. their'll tell you if it's like that. Two kids come over, just murder a family over the course of like a couple days, and they're basically going through a neighborhood and doing this. No, well, it's like isolated.
Starting point is 00:14:31 It's like a commentary on like how isolated the upper class is. Oh, okay. No, this is just like about Liv Tyler and her fiance. Okay. And they are fighting in a house, a vacation home, they're fighting about something, and then these people just come in and kill them. Oh, spoiler alert. I have a friend who recently said something along the lines of a Live Tyler is a sure sign of a bad movie.
Starting point is 00:14:55 Ouch! I'm not seeing it. This friend is a male or female. He's never seen Empire Records. That was my retort. Thank you. That's such a good movie though. Also like, isn't she in the Lord of those rings? Yeah, she is. This is a good movie.
Starting point is 00:15:11 They're movies. She's in all of them, right? At least most of them. Yeah, for sure. It's like four to five of them. At least 30 hours of them. Yeah. But we're not here to talk about Lord of the Rings. We're here to talk about how scared I have about having my home invaded. Seriously, fuck it, I can't stand it.
Starting point is 00:15:28 Here's the thing though, you're fine here. If someone invades your home, you open your window and scream, someone call 911. And there will be like four people on your block calling 9-1-1. No? People don't do that? You know what I mean? Whenever it started getting warm, we had the windows open, one of the first nights, across the ravine from my house, there was just a woman screaming bloody murder. Did you call the police? We were like, what do we? You call the police?
Starting point is 00:15:52 Somewhere, someone's screaming. Yeah, it's in this region. Go there. Because we live across a ravine, and it just like sound just bounces. Yeah. So like when there's gunshots, which there are kind of on the reg, I sometimes I sound like they're outside of my front door. Yeah. So I just like, I'm like, I don't know where to tell them to go. I guess.
Starting point is 00:16:12 And so it was just like this is my nightmare. Yeah. When someone crawls toto my tiny door so I need to... For what? I'm going to go up to the attic get out on the roof and start screaming. That seems like a good plan. Seriously, I think it'll work. Think about the fact that she couldn't scream.
Starting point is 00:16:35 I know. I know. I know. I know. Because honestly, all I have to do is get up on the roof and scream, someone called 911, and that old Italian lady across the street is on the horn. The one who's monitoring your parking at all times. Yeah, well she wants to make sure I'm okay as far as how far from the curb I am. Yeah. So, yeah. I still think I might, I should be terrified. That's why my house the house is loaded with weapons. I just just just just just just just just just just just just just just just just just just just just just just just just just just just just just th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th.. Being city full? Being city full. Also, this movie is a damning indictment of people with neck tattoos, don't you think? Especially if they're terrible.
Starting point is 00:17:14 Yeah. Well, yeah. Sorry if you have a neck tattoo. I like it. Do you ever see somebody who is a neck tattoo that says only God can judge me? No, who has that? I feel like I've seen it at Sandcastle. For those of you know from Pittsburgh, Sandcastle is our local water park, which is a great place to go and just like see Pittsburgh in a bathing suit, you know? I've never gone there. Oh you should go. You think I thought it was just for children's. I like it. I have this fear of getting stuck on water slides. Which is weird because that comes up and hush. So it does touch a lot of your fears.
Starting point is 00:17:53 She goes on that water slide and gets totally jammed in there. I don't know. I think one of the scariest scenes in this movie is she writes on the window so that the guy can see it. She writes, um, won't tell, didn't see face, boyfriend coming home, and then he takes off the mask so that she didn't see his face. Oh Christ. Yeah. That's when you see the eyes, the neck tattoo.
Starting point is 00:18:18 What is it? Flowers? I couldn't tell. I couldn't. Yeah, I couldn't. It was like a goat. Yeah. This movie made me realize that there is a brightness setting on my television. Oh. I had to crank way the house. Did you watch it today? Oh, okay, yeah, I watched it in the, I were like 11 o'clock last night. So I was even sleepy which was making me even more terrified. English breakfast, that's got caffeine in it. Yeah, I wanted a little picn up while I was watching the movie because I was a little tired guy. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, I, I, I, I's, I's, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm they, I'm th. Yeah, I'm, I'm th. Yeah, I'm th. Yeah, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I was, I was, I was, I was, I was, I was, I was, I was, I was, I was, I was, I was, I was, I was, I was, I was, I was, I was, I was, I was, I was, I was, I was, I was, I was. Yeah. Yeah, I was. Yeah, I was. Yeah, I was. Yeah, I was. Yeah, I was. Yeah, I'm th. Yeah, I'm th. Yeah, I'm th. Yeah, I'm they. Yeah, I'm th. Yeah, I'm they. Yeah, I'm they. Oh, I'm they. Oh, I'm they. Oh, I was like, I was like, I was like, I was like don't just, oh God, I'm just marbling. How about ectocler? Probably. There are so many choices in this film
Starting point is 00:19:07 that I'm just like, oh that's spot-on. That's so good. It really is. And the way, just the way it's shot is like beautiful. It's just every scene. Starts with that crane shot that just maybe was the point. I think so. Kind of get you off kilter at the beginning. But it also seems like a movie that was made very much on the cheap. Oh, I think it was made for less than $100,000. Which is a damning indictment of House on Hunted Hill. And all that money, and this movie kicked its ass. Do you feel like your inherent fear of the woods was really triggered by this movie?
Starting point is 00:19:47 Yeah, it's just that fear of isolation. Like I will almost never find myself somewhere that isolated. And when I do, like, I do like, um, at the, we occasionally go to the mountain home of Tara from the year next episode, which is very isolated. When I think we discuss that in that episode, I like lose my fucking mind up there. I make like, I the the the the their their their their their their their th. I make, I make, I th. It's th. It's th. It's th. It's th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. thi, it's thi, thea, it's th. th. th. It's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's thi. Yeah, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, their fear. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah, th. Yeah. Yeah, th. Yeah, th. Yeah, th. Yeah, th. Yeah, th. It's, th. It's, thi. It's, thi. thee. thea. thea. thea. thea. Yeah, thea. Yeah, thea. Yeah, thea. Yeah, thea. Yeah in that episode. I like lose my fucking mind up there. I'm like a god damn maniac and it make I make everyone crazy because I'm like closing the blinds and being like what's that and everyone else is just like completely relaxed like you're out in the middle of nowhere and I'm like yeah we're out in the middle of nowhere like it's just I can't
Starting point is 00:20:16 relax without like my neighbor across the street clocking up massive luggies at 8 o'clock in the morning. You know what I mean? Like, you need that, that's that city. I just need to know that, uh, I'm not gonna die. My partner's mom lives out in northern Pennsylvania, out in the middle of nowhere. Not the middle of nowhere, but pretty far out. And there's like bears and coyotes and shit. Nope. And like, you know, the last time we were there, I was walking the dog and I had a flashlight at night and I was just like scanning the tree line and be like, everything's just gonna run out and murder me.
Starting point is 00:20:52 There's an axe killer, there's a bear, there's like a group of coyote. Honestly, I just don't understand how, I guess, I the plural, I don't theoyote. Coyote's Uglies. I just feel like, I just, I understand I guess why people live in isolation, but I just don't think it could ever be for me. It's a pretty balsy move for this guy to assume that a person living by themselves in the middle of nowhere does not have a gun. Because she had a gun, this wrong. No, I like it better.
Starting point is 00:21:25 Steve Jobs. Why should a man be pluraled? Why should he? It's not better than me. She's got a hammer. She is. Yeah, she's really nothing to defend herself with. Yeah, she doesn't have a machete or a meat cleaver. Yeah, there's a machete. That's where the machete is. It's been behind me this whole time.
Starting point is 00:21:47 Where's the hammer? Hammers are in the basement. Meat cleavers on the bottom of the stairs. What's that right there? They're metal crucifixes. I suppose you could stab somebody with those or repel Satan. Or like a Dracula. or a dracula, or a d Dracula, or a dr. And I got pockets filled with knives, so. I just have...
Starting point is 00:22:07 You got your cricket bat. No field hockey stick, but close enough. Also like, what am I going to menace somebody with that? Get out of here. Hey, I'm sleeping here. Yeah. You just bang the walls and throw it at them and they don't have, you you don't have any where that's my biggest thing with horror movies when someone's attacking the bad guy they always leave the weapon like in this movie she stabs the bad guy in the leg I think and then just runs away no take the knife with you yeah never stop stabbing stabbing never to stab or you have just run out of stab energy. Your stab energy is gone. Your stabometer is just down at zero. I really want people to see this movie, so I feel like we're not like going scene by scene with it.
Starting point is 00:22:53 Yeah. I don't want to describe to you like and then she does this and then he does that. Yeah, I think you should just see it. I really want to just hype you to how Katie's just chugging ecta cooler. It's amazing. I think it's almost gone hot. Yeah. Um, I was gonna smash this into my skull. And I thought that's a bad idea. I like felt it hit my head and I was like, you're stupid.
Starting point is 00:23:16 Just crush it with my hand. Yeah. 26 minutes. Woo! I want to emphasize like how terrify you have a concept this is like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, the the the the the the the to, the to, to, the thi, the thi, the thi, I to to, I the the the the the the the the the the the the to, I to, I to, I to, I to, I to, I to, I to, I to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, thi, thi, thi, thi.e thi.e thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. to, to, I want to emphasize, like, I just really want to emphasize like how terrifying of a concept this is, like the deaf person being stalked. There's so many scenes where, like, I was like, oh, she has no idea how loud she's being. I was thinking about that. I almost wish that those scenes would have been filmed without sound or presented to us without sound so that we didn't know if she was being loud either. Do you know what I mean? Yeah I read about this movie and originally they were going to present it as a silent film it was
Starting point is 00:23:49 completely from her perspective. Okay. But they figured like the audience would just lose interest. It's a little niche. Yeah. All the sound is ADR. They went back in and like plug in all the sounds there's not much at all. Yeah, very, I think they said the script was like a total of 50 pages because there's so little dialogue in this film. And apparently they also said that they wrote the movie by acting everything out in their home or in one of their homes is written by the star of the movie. She wrote it as well as the director. Her name is Kate Siegel. Yeah, not to be the the the the the the the the the the the the the the their their their their their their their their their is their is their is their is their is so. I the star of the movie. She wrote it as well as the director. Her name is Kate Siegel. Yeah. Not to be confused with Katie Segal. Although imagine Peg Bundy in this movie.
Starting point is 00:24:29 She would fuck shit up. I love Peg Bundy. Should have charged through that window at the tune. Yeah. I'm great. Well smoking. Oh, I smoked. It's so cool. So they basically blocked out the entire movie in their home or in the home they were writing in and then when they went to film it they were like oh we have to rewrite because this house is not the exact same house. Yeah this is a different house yeah but weird they wouldn't the thought of that to each their own. Excellent use of the house too like yeah yeah theyre the the house theymea the the the house the house the house the house the house the house the house the house the house the house the house the house the house the house the house they they. their their their their their their their their their their their their their their the house their their their their their their their their their their their their their their the house the house the house the house the house the house the house the house the house the house the house the house the house the house the house the house they they they they they they they. they. they. they. they. they. they. they. they. they. they. they. they. they. they. they. they. they. they. they. they. they's they's they's they's they is they. the house and you see like, I mean, every room has a window in it and you're like, oh, fuck.
Starting point is 00:25:06 You know, like, where are you going to go? There's that great scene where she's having that internal dialogue. And you're just like, you can't hide in that room, and you can't hide in that room because that room has a window. And you're just going to have to wait title of this movie was too many endings? I kind of thought that. Well, when we get to that first ending, yeah, did it fake you out? I was like, I think I have the note,
Starting point is 00:25:34 this is not how I wanted this to end. Yeah. Because I was just like, oh, there's a fake ending. Sorry, guys. Is this movie just going to be the bleakestest f bleakest Like, yeah. And I was like, when it was happening, I was like, all right, I'll get on board with this. Like I will fully support you. Oh, okay. Yeah. But done really well. Yeah, I believed it and then I was like, uh, let's talk about John for a second. Yeah, let's talk about John for a second. Yeah, he's a dumb. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. thi. th. thi. thi. thi. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. thi. thi. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. the the the the the th. Yeah, the the th. Yeah, the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the th. th. th. I. I. I. th. th. I. th. I th. I th. I th. th. I th. th. th. I th. th. I th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. t. t. too. teeeeeeeea. th. th. th. th. th. I th. I th. I th. I for a second. Yeah. He's a dumb-dum. And also it kind of proves that all you need to do is speak authoritatively to people and they just fall in line.
Starting point is 00:26:09 Oh sure. I never thought of that really before and I'm going to use it in the future. There's a movie that I don't want to watch because I then she's just subjected to all this mental torture by people who are acting as authority figures over her. Why? And they're like a security guard and like a store manager and they're like just like abusing her in some way. And I'm just like, I don't want to watch.
Starting point is 00:26:37 No, that doesn't sound like a way I want to spend my time. Once I got arrested for jumping into to a th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, thi thi thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, their, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, their, their, their, their, their, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi's, thiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii's, thiiii's, it was defiant criminal trespass, with some friends. Defiant. Because that's like what's on my record and it feels bad man. Um, because there were signs posted. That's the defiance comes in. And the cop who arrested us must have just been like super bored that night or something. Because he took us back to the station and he was like, what you did was one step below murder, I can charge you with all these felonies.
Starting point is 00:27:06 Were you eight? I was 18 and I was like, nah, nah. And the cop was like, what do you, what do you think we should do with you? And my friend's today, let them go. He was like, I said, we let tell you. It was very, very, very good, which the cop did not appreciate. And he was also like, my friend's car was parked near the pool. And she was like, well, are you going to take us back to my car? And he's like, forget your car, you'll never see it again. And she was like, what?
Starting point is 00:27:34 He thought you were little baby children. Yeah. Who have object permanence problems? Case in his car is just gone forever. Yeah, but yeah. So all you have to to hold a flashlight up and say that you're a cop. People would be like, oh yeah, totally. Yeah, he didn't look like a cop. No, he looked like a bloody man. Yeah, with a neck tattoo.
Starting point is 00:27:55 Yeah, with a neck tattoo. Sorry to harp on the neck tattoo. These days, though, cops probably have a their thue, thue, tho, tho, tho, tho, tho, tho, tho, tho, tho, tho, tho, tho, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, and people tho, and people tho, and people tho, and people tho, and people tho, and people tho, and people tho, and people tho, and people tho. tho, like tho, like tho, like thi, like thi, like thi, like thi, like thi, like thi, like thi, like thi, like thi, like thi, like thi, like thi. thi thi theeea thea thea thea thea thea thea thi thi thi thi thi, like thitattoos. I don't think so. I bet there's a law. They have all them arm tattoos now. Yeah, for sure. Which they weren't a lot to have previously. I bet you can't have a neck tattoo and be a cop. And they're also lowering what it takes to be a cop. And I think in New York City, you got legs? Come on. Come on. But they just recently passed a no tattoo, no visible tattoos thing.
Starting point is 00:28:30 That's very dumb because we need those people. The visible tattooed? We need people, period. But I just think that's got full sleeves and you're like you don't even know what you like all those like a dashboard confessional in a couple years that kids to like dash for you know did kids ever all those kids that are in those like metal core bands and stuff that are like from the neck down and they're 19. Yeah. It's like you're not going to like any of that soon. No. And also like you've just totally blown your load. You know you only get so much skin. It's true. You're not getting any more. I really wanted to get tattooed when I was a kid. Yeah. And I would try. I really want to to to to to get to get to get to get to get to get to get to get to get to get to get to get to get to get to get to get to get to get to get to get to get to get to get to get to get to get to get to get to get to get to get to get to get to get to get to get to get to get to get to get to get to get to get to get to get to get to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the that. the that. the the that the tat. the the tat. the that. that that that that. that that to to to to the to the to some terrible tap. Motley Crew Theater of Pain? Oh yeah, that would be tattooed to be right now.
Starting point is 00:29:25 I don't think it's too late to get that one though. It's kind of ironic. I'd go shout the devil if I was going to be any of the Motley tattoos for us? Have you? Have you seen me? I mean, you haven't gotten one recently. No, I do have a Ghost Puster's tattoo. Yes. Ectocooler. I legally had to buy that when it came out because the tattoo. Oh, yeah. I gotta be honest with you, it's making me a little nauseated.
Starting point is 00:29:53 I'm sure. I think I'm gonna roll my pants down a little bit. You drag it too fast. I gave a 26 minutes. Um. You're outside leggings. You have leggings underneath those? No, no, these are like, these look like paint.
Starting point is 00:30:10 They're jaggings. Oh, jiggings, sure. But they don't have a button. They're just falsies. You're just, the sound new year is me snapping my jiggings. Are we doing this, are we talking, like, I feel like this is this this this is this is this is this is this is this is this is this is this is our this is our this is our this is our this is our this is our this is our this is our this is our this, are we talking, like, I feel like this is our worst episode ever? No, isn't that that Christmas movie that we did? Oh, I thought that one was fine. Was it pun-it-punishment? Was that what I was? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:30:36 Yeah, I just, I mean, I'm fully willing to move on to the ratings phase now because I feel like we could, you know, we're 30 minutes in. Yeah. This is the problem with movies that I don't have a problem with. Yeah, if I have a problem of the movie, I have a lot to say. Yeah, I agree. There's almost nothing about this movie I would change. I don't think there's almost nothing like Conceptually there's almost nothing to this movie except Deaf woman having her home invaded fighting for her life
Starting point is 00:31:07 Which is huge which is like cataclysmic in this character's life But like there's nothing to yeah, she ran to this room and then she ran to that room and like yeah, there's a scene I thought that one there's a scene where they're walking along the edge of the roof and the the their?????? the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the their? There's their their their their their their their their their is their is their their their their their their their their their their their? is is their? their? their? their? their is is is is is is their is is their. is is their? their. is is their? their? their their their their their their their their their their their their their they. they. they. they. their scene. their they. their scene. It's their their scene. It's their their their their their their their. It's is. It's. It's the edge of the roof and they're both like stepping on the gutter and the gutter's like giving the whole time like one one's got to fall yeah nobody falls oh spoiler alright just kidding no I mean it's yeah someone gets shot with a crossbow who's gonna be we'll find out you know cat cat does not save the day but that's okay no but she didn't seem like the kind of person who would name a cat bitch I thou th I thin th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th that that that that that th that th th the the the the the the the the the the the the to to to the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the to the the toy te toy toy toy toy toy toy toy toe toe toe toe toe the toooooooo the the the the the cat bitch. I thought that was a little off for a character. It was all going, I felt like that was the one like long con joke in the movie because she kept referring to the cat as bitch. And then the cat's name is bitch. I guess if you never have to call it, nobody really ever has to know. You know? Alan's doing the sign for a sign for which you will learn if you watch this movie. Sign language is cool. I I I I I I I I I I I I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. I feel like the the the. Sign language is cool I feel like it's a thing more people should know. Yeah just as like a I know like basic Spanish I feel like I know basic sign language. Yeah just like kindness just as like
Starting point is 00:32:17 because lip reading is actually extraordinarily difficult I think this movie makes it seem easier than it is but most deaf people can't really read lips the way that she was reading lips in this movie this like like like like like like like like like like like like like like like like like like like like like like like like like like like like like like like like like like like like like like like like like like like like like like like like like like like like like like like like like like like like like like like like like like like like like like like like like like like like like like like like like like like like like like like. the. the. the the the. I feel like. I feel like. I'm. I'm. I'm. I'm. this movie makes it seem easier than it is, but most deaf people can't really read lips the way that she was reading lips in this morning. Yeah. I wonder if it helps if she didn't go deaf until she was 13. Yeah, she was a good grasp of language, but still like if you, I don't know, reading lips is not just like a thing that deaf people can do. That's like an assumption that people make but because whenever they bring in police to read lips on things or whatever like they're like he's either saying go hang the salami I'm a lasagna hog or like they're just like I think you might be saying olive juice
Starting point is 00:32:53 or I love you I'm not a hundred percent sure what this is we go go go hang the salam am a lasagna isn't that are this forward in the backwards it's a paladrome yeah it's a paladrome th is is is th is th is th is this this this this this this this this this this this this this is this is this is this is this is this is this is this is this is this is this is this is this is this is this is this is this is this is this is this is this is this is this is this is this is this is this is this is this is this is this is this is this is this is this is this is this is this is this is this is this is this is this is this is this is this is this is this is this is this is this is this is this is this is this is this is this is this is this is this is this is this is this is this is this is a the the the the the the the the the the the the the the p al the p al the p al the p al the p ala the the p al the the the the the the the the the is for this is this is ththen backwards? It's a palindrome, yeah. Why? How did you just say that? How did you know that? There's the palindrome that I memorized. What if I just made a canal in Panama? And not and Panama. No, you fucking dumb, dumb.
Starting point is 00:33:16 I know that from a J church song. A man a jay church. A jay church? What's that. They were a punk a punk punk punk punk punk punk punk punk punk punk punk punk punk punk punk punk punk punk punk punk punk punk punk punk punk punk punk punk punk punk punk punk punk punk punk punk punk. They were like a pop-punky kind of band. Cool. Bay area. Which bay? San Francisco?
Starting point is 00:33:34 Chesapeake? You know, Chesapeake Bay pop thu. Oh yeah, I love old bay. That's good that Old Bay. That's good that you do. I feel like Pittsburgh doesn't represent Old Bay enough. No, I think we just are like let Baltimore have that. Let them have that in their crime.
Starting point is 00:33:53 We're fine here. Baltimore, the Pittsburgh of the sea. Is it? I guess kind of. The accents are very similar. Yeah, if you watch the wire, which you have it, yeah. I'm saving it. You would be like, oh, these people have yinzer accents. That's like in the most recent season of American horror story, Kathy Bates is doing like a very, very yinzer accent.
Starting point is 00:34:16 But it turned out she was like from Baltimore. The character was from Baltimore. Yeah, and I was like, oh, that's weird. What if I die having never, like, if I the the tha, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, the the the the, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, the the the, the the, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, the the, the the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the the, the the the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, they.e.a.a. the. the the the the the the the the the the the the the. What if I die having never, like if I get hit by a car tomorrow, this is a lesson to you and don't save things. What if you die never seeing the wire, but you have seen the latest season of American horror story? I wasn't saving that. I was just watching it while I was home sick or something.
Starting point is 00:34:40 Is this like Halloween candy allotment? Like, I'm just going to eat those two JVs now and those Reese's peanut butter cups will eat later. This is the problem I have with everything we're like, especially with like leftovers, like food leftovers, that I'm like, I have to save that for later. And then it goes bad and I never eat it. So that's how I'm gonna die. I feel like lately this podcast has been a lot about my neuroses and I need to stop. All right, well on that note, do you want to move on to the ratings face?
Starting point is 00:35:11 Yeah. Ratings face? Oh, Chickasaw's back. Yeah. I love this movie. I thought this was great. It's also very short, which I'm, there's no... Hour and 20 minutes, man. There's no superfluous scenes to it. There's no scenes where you're like, come on, what is going on here? Yeah. Because a movie like this, where there's like less than 10 minutes of dialogue, probably. Right.
Starting point is 00:35:33 Could really drag, and it doesn't. It keeps you super engaged the whole time. You're right thatthat's never revealed. Spoiler. Spoiler. I loved it, nine and a half. Awesome. Would, and I'm sorry that I said so many things on Netflix pushing it on me and being such a jerk about it. Yeah, it's very, very, very good and you should watch it.
Starting point is 00:35:56 Yeah, I would highly recommend if you watch this as well. too, like I think it, or nine, you get a nine and a half. I did. So I think it's just super solid, it's super smart. Just conceptually, like, it's a really smart take on the slasher genre. Like, yeah. And the fact that I love that he's not quippy, the serial killer, he's just like, matter of fact, you're going to die. Yeah. He's really great in his the the the the the thiiiia the thia. thia. thia. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. that. that. that. that. that. thi. thi. thi. thi. that. thi. ta. ta. ta. ta. ta. ta. ta. tha. tha. tha. tha. tha. tha. tta. tta. t. t. t. t. t. t. t. t. t. t. t. t. t. It's a t. It's a t. It's a t. t. tta. t. t. t. t. t. t. t. t. te. te. t. ta. ta. ta. ta. te. ta. ta. ta. ta. ta. ta. t. John when he's pretending to be the cop. Like, yeah. You're like, oh, you're a total sociopath. You have the charisma of a total sociopath. That's awesome.
Starting point is 00:36:29 Like, they nailed that. Like, John's probably the weakest actor in this film. Yeah. He reminded me of a Jerry O'Conno. That's what I that John would smoke. That's like the only quip that the guy has is he has the cigarettes and he's like, these will kill you over John's dead body, swear Lord. And I was like, first John wouldn't smoke and second, that's a lazy joke. No, that guy's crossfitting all over the water.
Starting point is 00:36:53 Crossfitters do not smoke. Although he would have full good as it was. Like, yeah. I agree with Stephen Kang, like, throw this up in the Pantheon, man. This is, this is good shit. This is, like, I also was thinking about how you were saying you'll never have that experience of being terrified by a movie again. Yeah. And I feel like if you're, you're scared. If you're the scary. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I was. I was. I was th. I was good. th. th. th. th. th. th. this is good. this is good. this is good. this is good. this is good. I was good. I was good. I was good. I was. if you watch this movie, like in a cabin in the woods, you'd be done so. You'd think so? I think I would be fucking, I'd be scared. Like had I not... Why wouldn't be in a cabin in the woods? That's the thing, so it's hard for me to say. Had my partner not been upstairs sleeping? And like I'd known that, I still, I would have been like, thrown thii. thin. that. that. that. that. that. that. that. that. that. that. that. that. that. that. that. that. that. that. that. that. thi. thi. tho. thi. I would be, I would be like, I would be sa. tho. tho. I would be si. I would be si. I would be si. I would be si. I would be scared. I would be si. I would be scared. I would be scared. I'd th. thee. th. the. th th th Yeah, I mean it's really the most terrifying thing that can happen to you.
Starting point is 00:37:46 Because it's real. It's real. It's fucking real. Yeah. Also the writer and director of this movie apparently worked on Oculus, which is another movie we were surprised by how much we enjoyed it. Oh did I do want to mention that there's a scene where the killer is outside, Maddie is inside. And she has been, he crushes her hand. I hate that, you know what I feel about hand stuff. And this is the thing that triggers her into full-blown badass mode, when she's standing at the door and he's saying, I'm coming in now. Yeah. And she writes, do it in her leg blood. Yeah, because she's been shot by a crossbow.
Starting point is 00:38:26 And then he's just standing there and then she dips back into the leg blood hole and comes out and writes coward underneath of it. I was like, that's the most beast fucking mode you could do like. Do you think you would ever go into that mode yourself? I don't think I have it within me. Right after I'm done crying, I can feel like I'd go right into that. You mean like every time you cry? So I used to get into fights a lot when I was a kid. Yeah. And I would cry while I was fighting because I would get like so emotionally jumbled and then I would black out. That's like that scene in a Christmas story where he's just meeting that and crying is that? Actually just imagine that being you. It's similar to to to to to to that that that that one that that one the one that the one that the one the one that that the one the one that that the one. that that th. that that th. that th. that that that that that that that that th. thi. thi. that that that that that that that that that th. It's similar to that, except the one time that I blacked out
Starting point is 00:39:06 and I woke up on top of someone punching them and I was like, I should probably stop doing this. Oh, God. What a lunar trip? Exactly. Yeah, yeah, yeah, so I would go and rage black. Good to know. I don't think I do. I think I've never been confronted, well this is a weird, I've never been confronted by like a real danger. Like a real terrible thing about to happen.
Starting point is 00:39:35 Oh really? That I've never had to like think about it. You know what I mean? Did you get in a fight and stuff when you were a kid? I got this shit kicked out of me a couple times. But I I I I I never I I I never I th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. tho. that that tho. to tho. I tho. I tho. I've th. I got this shit kicked out of me a couple times but I never fought back. I never fought back. Oh really? There was never like a this is a life or death situation. Never I've never been in a situation like that. All right. Like a car to the situation that I've to even react or do anything. Just yeah like I didn't kick open the door and just jump out. the car go off a cliff, you know? No, I've never had a situation where I've had to like
Starting point is 00:40:05 really defend myself. I got into a couple fights in college too, but they were always just like, you know, punching fights. Yeah, windy punches. Yeah, I don't think I ever ever, I mean, I've had like like guns and stuff pulled on me, but nothing like, no. I've never even been mugged. I've never even been mugged. I've never even thi. I th. I've th. I've th. I've th. I've th. I've th. I've th. I've th. I've th. I've th. I've th. Yeah, you, you've been thed, you've been thr-I've been thr-I've been thrown, thrown, I've never, I've never, I've never tried, I've never tried, I've never tried, I've tried, I've tried, I've thr-I've thr shit I've done I've never even been mugged. I haven't either and I would just always assume because I'm a cool the little. Because you're a giant man. I would be a lot easier to mugge than you. Every one of my friends in Philly has a story about being mugged and I'm like, oh weird. No one bugged that yet. My friend Elliott got mugged him and the he was walking home from Sinoco with a couple, I think a box of cereal or something. And these kids mugged him and they were like, give us your wallet and he was like, oh, here. And they were like, give us a cereal too.
Starting point is 00:40:50 And I was like, no, I'm taking my cereal home and I'm eating it. And I thought about that for a long time. And I would just be like, fine, take the ciomtose crunching tak tak tha, tha, tha, tha, tha, tha, tha, tha, tha, tha, tha, tha, tha, tha, tha, t line in the sand. Yeah, I guess so. I'm taking the cinnamon toast crunch and you kids are not getting this. I guess it depends on what cereal? Like if it's crackling oat brand, I'm swinging. Like they're not taking my crackling oat brand away from me. What? You've right just, you just became the Quakerote guy right there. I don't know. You know what else I am Katie? What? A fan of th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. th. th. th. th. th. th. thi. thi. th. th. the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the th. A small artifact discovered among the wreckage of the infamous Roswell incident of 1947.
Starting point is 00:44:12 Due to the sensitive nature of this item, it has been labeled top secret and includes a partially redacted document that details the discovery. Top secret. Top secret. . .. So, the, No, that wasn't very good. Much like the return of the X files. That wasn't very good.
Starting point is 00:44:32 Ouch. You know what? I never even finished it. This does do not open. I shouldn't have opened then. Oh, fuck. Well, I think it's do not open this baggie. I think it's OK to open that baggie. Yeah, it's not open this baggy. Apparently they are doing more X-Files. Oh. I didn't get once the lead singer of Rancid

It's an office memorandum of United States government date June 30th, 1949 and stamp top secret. And let Mike know that you heard about it from us. Yeah. I saw a couple people talking about it online and I was very excited. That's awesome. They were like, oh I'm going to order this because I heard about it on Wherwolf Ambulance.
Starting point is 00:49:51 That's great. Also, these are just things you won't regret. Sometimes you know you regrett purchases, And then when the skip it came, I was like, ah, fuck me. And then I used the skip it while I was drunk, and I really regretted all of those things. You won't regret this. No. Don't get a skip it. The new skippets are garbage.
