Werewolf Ambulance: A Horror Movie Comedy Podcast - Episode 95- April Fool's Day (1986)

Episode Date: August 15, 2016

In this week's guestisode we're joined by our friend Missy to discuss her pick, the 1986 teen slasher "April Fool's Day." EMTs, we do spoil the end of this movie so if you have any intentions of watch...ing it without spoilers, watch before you listen to this episode. Special topics for your consideration include: the advantages to having a large cast of characters in a slasher, so much sexual innuendo, Biff being Biff forever, not being real sure about how you do sex, whether or not the film "Jaws" was responsible for a medical nightmare and who is Chaz, anyway?? How do you feel about this movie? Do you think it deserves its downright rotten Rotten Tomatoes score? Starting point is 00:01:15 Yeah, thanks for inviting us to your family's in to do this episode. House in, Dead and Breakfast. Nope. April Fool's. So you brought us April Fool's Day. Tell us a why. This was one of my favorite movies as a teen. I used to drag my mom to drive, drag my mom to movies. And this is one of the ones that I made her take me to see.
Starting point is 00:01:46 If you hadn't done Return of the Living Dead, I probably would have requested that because that was like my favorite movie as a as a teen. Yeah, I have fond memories of my mom taking me to see this and then being completely mortified during the one sex scene. Yeah. Is that how you do sex by the way? Well, did you ask your mom? Completely mortified during the one sex scene. Yeah, is that how you do sex by the way? Well, did you ask your mom because I'm not I'm still not real sure I remember sitting there going it's not it doesn't seem like curious dog head tilts and like uh when they first come on the screen I was like I don't know whose bodies one right no, they're just. I don't. Yeah, they're just I don't. I don't. Yeah, the the the the the the the the th. the the the the the th. the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the th. the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the th the th th. the the the th. the the th. the the the th. the the the the the the the the the to. to. the the to. the the the the the the the the the the the the the the movie? She seemed okay by it. Yeah, she was pretty a good-natured about some of the shit I dragged her to like trick-or-treat and return of the living dead and yeah, so.
Starting point is 00:02:40 Nice. Shout up to Pat. Hey Pat, thanks for your loyal listership. This is mom. So this is in 1986 that this came out. So you would have seen this in the theater in 1986. Yes. With your mom. Yes. Very exciting. You didn't have to give your age away. I'm not afraid of that. A gentleman never asked.
Starting point is 00:03:06 I'm not afraid. It's not a secret. Can you do a quick synopsis of this film? No. Okay. I agree. There's no quick synopsis of this movie. Practical jokes, preppies.
Starting point is 00:03:18 People whose ages are impossible to tell. Yeah. They had to be 20. They had tell. Yeah, some of them that looked like they were 30 and they were supposed to be 20. They had to have been 30. Yeah. Well I looked it up and I think one of them, I think Biff from Back to the Future. Yeah, he was like 30 when this was filmed, I believe. And he was an arch I think? They all have very stupid names. Yeah, they all have very stupid names. Yeah, well, they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they th. Yeah, th. Yeah, th. th. th. th. th. Yeah. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. th. th. thi thi. thi thi. thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi. thi. thi. th.'s in college in this movie. How could it be in his 30s? I don't understand. It was just a year later. Was it just a year later? Yeah, 85 was back to the future. Doesn't make any sense.
Starting point is 00:03:51 I also dragged my mom to see back to the future now that I think about it. Do you have to drag someone to see back to the future? It's got Deber Foreman from Waxwork. That's Muffy, right? Yeah, Muffy. Muffy's A John. She was also in Valley Girl. Don't just, well, I'm trying to keep it to what people know from the potting cast. She was like the Marquis de Sade Girl from Waxwork, right? Yeah, cool.
Starting point is 00:04:16 Cool, cool. Cool, cool. Yeah. She's got really good comedic timing. Yeah? She's really good in this movie, I think. Yeah. I would like to put the caveat that I don't think anybody's really good in this movie, but that's okay. It's got the boyfriend from just one of the guys. Who's that? That was Chaz. I have a note in my notes that just says who's Chaz because they just talk about they just keep saying these names I don't know who any of them are. Chas is the guy who's wearing
Starting point is 00:04:53 zoobas and the sweater vest with the t-shirt for most of the movie. Okay he was filming. The filmmaker guy. Yeah. He was a filmmaker. the filmi-a-s. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. the the the film maker. Yeah. Yeah. the film maker. the film maker. I do not know what her name is. That was Nikki. Nicky. Okay. I do have the note that everyone's outfits in these, like in this movie would be unbelievably hip right now. Yeah. They'd be the coolest. Come back around. Yeah. Except Nan. Nan would have been a grandma. Yeah, I feel like there's a sect of people who are into like grandma chic that would be into
Starting point is 00:05:51 Nan. Grandma's? Grandma's and people into grandma chic. So Muffy St. John has invited her friends from Vassar to a party and her which we don't find out until the end. Yeah. We were actually talking about that like because the weather was really, it was April but they're sunbathing and swimming and I was just like, where the hell is this? Upstate New York apparently? Is Poughkeepsie's upstate? Yes. Okay. Why is New York's the only state to have an upstate? Um, no, when they say Vassar at the end. the the end. the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the their is is their is their is their is their is their is their is their is their is their is their is their is their is their is their is their is they're they're they're they're is they're is they're is they're is they're is they're is they're is they're is they're is they're is they're is they're is they're is they're is they're is they're is they're is they're is they're is they're is they're they're they're their. their. their s. their s. their s. th. th. th. thea. thea. theat. theat. th. theat. S. S. S. S. S. S. S. S. S. S. S. S. S. S. S. S. S. S. S. S. Sassar at the end, I was like, I don't know why I found it so funny, but I really did. I really did.
Starting point is 00:06:26 I think we were using Poughkeepsie as a swear word, I think is a thing that we did. We did do the Fahkepsie. So that's a funny joke that we can just let stay dead. So Muffy St. John invites athat be accurate? Yes. Which is huge. It's a Lake Mansion. Yeah. They had to take a ferry over. Yes. We start to see them like I guess playing jokes on each other. Like the your fly is open joke which is a pretty funny joke I guess. Did you say in your Twinkies hanging? We're hostess Twinkie. Because hostess had to get that brand recognition in there.
Starting point is 00:07:06 Make sure you say his dick looks like our Twinkie. That's gross. Twinky Dick. I'm just think that means what it, that, nope. Missy's making a face. Now she's noping. I'll be giving you a play by play of all of Miss of Missy's non-audio-responsive things. So it quickly becomes evident that they're all terrible, would you say?
Starting point is 00:07:33 Sure. Well, anybody who plays practical jokes. I hate practical jokes. I do too. It's like never funny. It's never, it's always a little bit mean, you know? Other than like filling somebody's office with balloons, which is just funny, I think. That's like the only funny office prank I've ever seen. That's a pretty good one, yeah.
Starting point is 00:07:52 Because you're like, oh well, balloons. I don't enjoy practical jokes if they're played on me or around me, but I like seeing them in a movie apparently. Sure. I also like to see people get to see people to see people to see people to see people to see people to see people the the it's funny. Yeah. Welcome to the podcast. Well, when this movie started, I was like, oh, they're sure a lot of people here to die. You know what I mean? Like, there's going to be a good amount of deaths. I was pretty excited about that. There's no joke just like living the slasher dream of the game where you throw a knife and then they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they, they start playing that knife. I could someone explain stretch to me.
Starting point is 00:08:26 Stretch? The game where you throw a knife and then have to touch it from where you're sanding, apparently? Oh yeah, no, I don't know. I don't know anything about it. That's some made up stuff. I didn't know if that was like a thing you guys did in the 80s and I just didn't know the game. I'm sorry. No, I'd never heard of Stretch before. No. But I did like when he threw the knife into the guy's stomach for no apparent research.
Starting point is 00:08:49 Yeah, that was great. And I was like, that's why you don't throw knives. But it's a red herring. Yes. He's not. It was like, it looked really real. Yeah. Delightfully scooby-douish who was great. And then he falls in the water with a knife in
Starting point is 00:09:07 his stomach but it turns out to be a prank but the people who are working on the ferry don't know that and they jump in the water and then get smushed behind the fairy and get your eye fucked up. Just his head gets fucked up. Just his head gets fucked up. Right. Oh I just realized the board that they crushed is a new board th. th. th. th. th. the th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. the thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. It's is th. It's is th. It's is th. It's is th. It's is th. It's is th. It's is th. It's is th. It's is th. It's is thi. It's thi. It's thi. It's thi. It's the. It's the. It's t. It's tote. tote. te. te. te. te. te. te. th put on there. It was like new wood that was on the, on the pier that they ran into. Oh, we're gonna spoil this movie and it has like a big twist ending. So if you haven't seen it and you have any intentions of seeing it, do it now. Do it now. Bye-bye. All right, do you guys still here? Did it? Nobody? Oh well, we'll just talk to ourselves then. The guy that plays Skip,
Starting point is 00:09:45 the one that fell that got hit in the stomach, so that's Ryan O'Neill? No, not Ryan O'Neill. That's Griffin O'Neill. Oh. He was actually, I think it was a year later, it was shortly thereafter, he was involved in a boating accident that killed... Francis Ford Coppela's son. Jean Carlo. Yeah, his son was killed in it. Well he was indicted for manslaughter, yeah. Yeah. Apparently they went between two boats that had a toe line between him that he didn't see into the last minute and it took out John Carlo. Yeah, took out Copolis Kid. Whoa.
Starting point is 00:10:26 Yeah, and I remember reading about that. Really? Yeah, I, as I am still today, love celebrity gossip. And so I remember reading in like People Magazine or Us magazine back in the 80s about that. Wow. This would have been about the same time that Vince Neil killed Razzle, too, wouldn't it? Like, they were just all these like- That was a couple years before?
Starting point is 00:10:49 That was a couple years before, I think. Same era, same era of celebrity murder. Yeah, sure, that would have been, I mean, within the two'm pretty sure that was like 84 or 85 and it wasn't that long before. I believe later in life he also had some problems with DUIs too. Yeah he's a he's had issues with addiction and alcohol. Wouldn't you had you murdered some dude while taking a boat ride? That whole family's kind of fucked. Like Coppola is or the O'Neils? Like Griffin'Neils. Like, Griffin O'Neill is an alcoholic and has some addiction issues, and then Tatum O'Neill
Starting point is 00:11:31 also apparently was caught smoking crack at some point in the last 10 years. Oh man. You talking about Channing Tatum O'Neal? No. Is that Chris? Thanks, Katie. No, that's Chris. I'm sorry. Anyway, so the buck, Buck is the first maid of the ferry and he gets his head all smushed up. Because he's like, he's the Gilligan. He won't get out of the water to like throw the rope over the thing, which seems to be his job and he's just throwing it from, like, you fucking dumbed up.
Starting point is 00:12:00 the thu dumbed, get out of the water. It all becomes clear later. Buck and the captain rush off in the sheriff or police officers boat? The constable. He's a constable. Constable Potter. Constable potter. Constable potter. That's a good name. It is. A strong name. And they zip off to the mainland. And then the kids are just kind of like, well, all right. Let's go to our party times, right? Skip seems pretty bummed. That that his that his that his that his that his that his that his that his that his that his that his that his th. And, t. And, t. And, t. And, the the the the the the the the the the party times, right? Skip seems pretty bummed that his prank has caused this man to like lose his eye seemingly. Yeah. Right. The next note I have says that hot dog though, but I don't remember what happened with that hot dog. Oh, the...
Starting point is 00:12:35 Fill me in, missy. They're in the kitchen making dinner, which apparently is hot dogs and beans. Yeah. And so there's a hot the the the the the the the the the the the the thk th. tha tho. tho. tho. tho. tho. tho. tho. tho. tho. tho. tho. tho. tho. tho. tho. to thanks that to to to to to to to to to too. too. too. too. too. too. too. to to to to to to to to to to to to too. to too. too. too. too. to too. too. to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to too. too. th. th. the the to. to. to. the to. to. too. too. too. too. too. too. to to to to to too. the kitchen making dinner, which apparently is hot dogs and beans. Yeah. And so there's a hot dog being pushed out of a pack of hot dogs and into a pan. It was so gross. Yeah, there's a dick joke that goes right in, like there's a dick joke that the punchline is the hot dog being pushed out of the page. Yeah. The next note I have after that says all these white people look the same, which continues to be a problem for me throughout this movie. It's true.
Starting point is 00:13:09 So they're at the dinner table at Muffy's house. Oh, wait, are you skipping the sex quiz? Oh, I guess I am. Go for it. What is it? Nikki, Muffy, and Amy Steele from Friday the 13th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, y, Muffy, and... And Amy Steele from Friday the 13th part too? Kit, yeah, Kit. Nicky is asking them questions from like a Cosmo sex quiz, like, what have you done?
Starting point is 00:13:32 Have you done this yet? Have you done that yet? And one of the things is like a choice of, you know, oral sex, and you know, oral sex, and, you know, oral, their........ thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, k, k, k, k, k, k, k, k. K. K. K. Kit, kit, k, kit. Kit, k. Kit, k. Kit, k. Kit, k. K. K. K. K. K. K. K. K. K. K. K. K. K. K. K. K. K. K. K. K. K. K. K. K. K. K. K. K. K. K. K. K. K. K. K. K. K. K. K. K. K. K. K. K. th. K. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. to, it's not even anal sex, it's just like. Just coming in, just coming in the door. Is that just a thoroughfare there? Okay, anal entry, let's go. Just in one anal out the other, as they say. No comment.
Starting point is 00:13:58 No. So yes, they're at the dinner table. This is where we learned that Dr. Dumbdum isn't isn't isn't isn't isn't isn't isn't isn't isn't isn't isn't isn't isn't isn't isn't isn't isn't isn't isn't isn't isn't isn't isn't isn't isn't isn't isn't isn't isn't isn't isn't isn't at the dinner table. This is where we learn that Dr. Dumb-Dum isn't going to be a doctor because he has an essential lack of seriousness. His grades are good, but he's not serious enough to be, they call that medical schools won't accept him because he's not serious enough. What did he do in that interview? I don't know.
Starting point is 00:14:18 Probably able to squeeze thatinky. He was the most serious of all of them, though. And he's still the stupidest. He's so, everything about him is dumb. Maybe that's because he was in summer school. Maybe. He had a fluffy, fluffy helmet of hair. No, he was in summer, I think. No, he was in Chainsaw? He was the guy that slept the whole summer, I think.
Starting point is 00:14:45 He wasn't Chainsaw or Dave, so I've forgotten him. I'm pretty sure he was. There was Chainsaw and Dave and they were the horror movie fanatics in summer school? Yeah. Yeah, they're basically who I wanted to be when I grew up. Yeah, I'm pretty sure he was the guy that was like working two jobs or something and was sleeping the whole way through summer school. Okay But yeah, he was the most serious one and yet he was the one that was not serious enough for med school You think Vassar would get you ready to be serious enough for med school, but apparently not? Oh, but I did he go to Vassar because there was that conversation on the boat that was about not everybody?
Starting point is 00:15:21 At like a good school or something. Oh, you think he went to state. Who's at SUNY? Yeah. College jokes. Get him here. Yeah, I have no idea. Everything he does is stupid. Like, he's supposed, like, one of the pranks that's played on him is that he and his
Starting point is 00:15:43 girlfriend are going to bed, and when they turn off one light, another one goes on, which I guess is funny.......... th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th th th thu is th thus th thus thu is thus, is thus thus is th who's th who's th who's th who's th who's th who's th who's th who's th who's who's who's who's who's who's who's who's who's who's who's who's who's who's who's who's who's who's who's th. But instead of just unplugging that lamp, he grabs the hot bulb, and then he's like, ow and then he just grabs it again? Like, come on Dr. Dumb-Dum. I do refer to him in my nose only as Dr. Stupids. So when they sit down at the the they sit sit sit sit sit sit sit sit sit sit sit sit sit sit sit sit sit sit sit sit sit sit sit sit sit sit sit sit sit sit sit sit. When the the the the the the thetable, the pranks get up to notch, because Nan, hey Nana, sits down on a whoopi cushion, the funniest of all pranks. It is. Because it's farts. Farts are always funny. And Biff sits down in a chair that cair that claps.
Starting point is 00:16:17 That was also very funny. It was good. He does a fucking great pratfall. Yeah, he does a couple times because he keeps keeps sitting in that chair. They're like, oh shit, he could do pratt falls. Let's keep doing this. They just put that chair in his bedroom for some reason. And he was like, all just sit here. Oh, then there's the rosé smelling on everyone, which is like a waste of rosé. It's theve something, but you can call me how.
Starting point is 00:16:45 Yeah. When he gets his glass of rosé, he goes, it smells like a ripple. What does that mean? Ripple's like super tea wine. I think he was not as fancy as he was coming across as yeah. He clearly knew what Ripple smelled like because he then goes on to steal cigars. Oh, that's right. One of which explodes in his face. Yeah, yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Oh, that's right. One of which explodes in his face? Yeah. After he sees that headline on a newspaper that says six die in fog, I wrote that one down. I hate it when people die in fog. Like what? Yeah, in the, I remember in the 70s and 80s, like ripple was a punch. Like, I remember in the times, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, ri bust out the ripple and that was the show I don't even know what
Starting point is 00:17:27 good times is what? What? Sorry? Dino Might? J. C. Chet Walker? Nothing? Okay. It's fine. It's said I was sorry. It was a sitcom in the 70s. I said I was sorry. I'm a goddam baby. If I'm not mistaken it was the first sitcoms. If I'm not. If th. It's. It's. It's. It's. It's. It's. It's. It's. It's. It's. It's. It's. It's. It's. It's. It's. It's. It's. If I'm not mistaken, it was the first sitcom featuring a black family. Oh, okay. Though that may, no, I think it pretty is a Jefferson's. Can you explain to me what it means to have two settings, collar up and collar down? Because she says that about biff and I didn't know why. I thought it was party. Casual and party. Those are great settings to have. What other settings do you need?
Starting point is 00:18:10 Well, color up was like the preppies, right? Preppies popped their polo shirts, though. Nobody was wearing two polo shirts though, because that was a thing. Sure. She wore two polo shirts with, they were contrasting colors. Yeah, that had a brief comeback, but I feel was just too duchy. But yeah, I think that's what it was. It was a party, no party. Okay. I prove of that.
Starting point is 00:18:28 So we see all these pranks that Muffy has set up basically. Like, there's a portrait that the eyes have been cut out, and behind it is one of those clocks with the cat's, there's a baby crying on a baby crying for Nan. Yeah. Which apparently later we find out the Nan had an abortion, which is just like kind of almost like a throwaway line. Like I don't know something about an abortion. And I was like, what? It was supposed to be scandalous in a secret that she had had an abortion, so she was all upset.
Starting point is 00:18:58 How did Muffy find out? But yeah, it didn't, other than than than than than th then, then, then, then, then, then, then, then, then, thin, thi, thi, thi, thi, their, their, their, their, the, the, the, the, thi, they. thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, they. they. they. they. they. th. th. th. thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, throw, throw, throw, thr. theea. tooooooooooooooooooome. the. thea. thea. thea, than her being like really upset the next morning, it's not addressed again, weirdly. And it's also like the Harvey Hal guy was upset about the newspaper clippings because he died in the fog. Right. I don't know, he was like, people die all the time in fog. Like, it seemed personal to him too. I don't know. And there was like, there was heroin in this medicine, medicine, medicine, a medicine, a medicine, a medicine, a medicine, a medicine, a medicine, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, like, the, the, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, thi, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like I don't know. And there was like, there was heroin in Biff's medicine chest. Like, was there? Yeah, yeah, there was like a spoon and gear and stuff.
Starting point is 00:19:30 I think that was supposed to be for Skip because they mentioned that Skip will is, they mentioned a couple times that, oh, Skip's probably on something somewhere. Huh. I thought that was sort of to to to to to to to toonononononononononon. thiiii. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi, like thi, like, like, like, like thi. thi, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, thi. Yeah, thi. Yeah, thi. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah, thi. Yeah. Yeah, thi. Yeah, thi. Yeah, thi. Yeah, thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. Yeah, thi. Yeah, thi. Yeah, thi. Yeah, thi. Yeah, thi. Yeah, thi. Yeah, thi. Yeah, that was sort of pertaining to him not not. Gotcha. And Nikki got bondage, we already mentioned that? Yes. And I have the... Well, and that goes back to the...
Starting point is 00:19:55 The sex quiz, yeah, because not only was it, which haven't you done but want to, it was oral sex, anal entry, uh, S&M, and lesbian sex. So, like, I think, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, th, th, th, because, because, because, because, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, and, and th, th, and, th, th, and, and, th. And, th, and, and, th, th, and, th, th, th, th, and, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th. And, th. And, th. And, th. And, th. And, thi. And, thi. And, thi. And, thi. And, thi. And, that, and, thi. And, and, thi. And, thi. And, thi. And, S&M, and lesbian sex. So like, I think it was all back to that. There was also the question about what was your first time like, and was it a painful, be something? D was, did you have an orgasm? And she said, yes, it was painful and I had an orgasm. Oh, I see. This movie's deeper than I thought. It's a surprisingly smart, dumb movie. It's a surprisingly smart, dumb movie.
Starting point is 00:20:30 Yeah, it really is, actually. My note, weird moaning baby tape, taken out of context is very strange. It is. It is. I hope Google isn't looking at your notes. And their fuck bodies didn't make sense. No, I don't think that's how you do it. So this was Chaz and Nicky. It was a, oh, there was a long debate about who Nicky was gonna bed that night.
Starting point is 00:20:50 Well, yeah, she's like, I get Chas. And I was like, I get chaise. And I was like, the's chavement. Who is cha, the thin. Oh shit, is junior achievement still a thing? So I looked it up, it is still a thing. It is still a thing. Yeah. I was in junior achievement in high school, just saying guys, right? What did you do as a junior achiever? We made and sold clocks made out of a CD's. What? CEDs?
Starting point is 00:21:15 Yeah, compact discs. They were shiny on one side and you put a clock face on it. Yeah. And you've got a clock with little hands. Did it work did function. We didn't sell many of them. By many do you mean one? I don't know. Your parents bought one. I'm sure like everything else I did in high school, I just did it to try and talk
Starting point is 00:21:38 to girls. Did it work? Oh yeah. .. I built this clock. It's a lot of CDs. And then you were like, CDs nuts. Shit. And then I just started pushing. That's a joke I used to tell all the time in college and I so rarely get to say it now. How often do you talk about CDs?
Starting point is 00:21:58 And then I was just butching hot dogs out of packages all over the place. Just through the whole of the CD. It's disgusting. It's disgusting. It's disgusting. It's disgusting. It's disgusting. It's th. It's th. It's th. It's th. It's th. It's th. It's th. It's th. It's just just just just just just just just just just just just just just just just just just just just just just the the the the the the th. th. the thoosk. thoos. thoos. tho. th. the th. the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. Just through the whole of the CD. It's disgusting. Is that a joke you also don't? No. No. No. Okay, so people start to die. Yes. Skip goes first. He's in the, he's in like a shit, a boat house, okay. And they have the great cat scare, which I love a cat scare, yeah. You know, it's always, it's always a cat. Jump scare cat, classic. Classic. I have a question about, um, pertaining to the ending of this movie,
Starting point is 00:22:33 spoiler alert, Skip was in on it the whole time. The whole time? Right. He had to have been on and the camera's following him is he's staggering around drunk? Well why does Constable Potter call from the hospital? He is at the hospital, you're right. Oh shit, this movie that I claimed to be smart a couple minutes ago just started falling in front. Well it is smart because you need to believe that he's not in on the he hijah in the joke as well.
Starting point is 00:23:03 So like if you see Constable Potter calling from his living room, his living room, you're gonna know if something's up, so. That is, Constable Potter is such a fucking good name, man. He just wanted to get into his role. He went to the hospital and did it. Skip goes missing. Yeah. And then when Brock Handsome boy, what's his name? Dr. Stupids. Dr. Stupids. Rob is his name, I think.
Starting point is 00:23:28 And Amy Steele of Friday the 13th part two are going. She's a part of the truth. I like she's reciting her resume as her Amy Steele a Friday 13 part to. Kit when they're going to make the beast with two backs in the boathouse. Oh, it's a Shakespearean reference. Come on, I'm very, very educated. Yeah. I saw it. I saw the book ones.
Starting point is 00:23:51 I've seen that. I've seen a tempest. Um, sorry. The beast with two backs. It's so good. Is that really Shakespeare? Oh, I was just joking. I thought we were making a the the the There was an April. It's probably not the tempest. Is getting your horn
Starting point is 00:24:09 scraped also Shakespearean? It might be. I don't think it is. What about a rental entry? What does that fall on the Shakespeare spectrum? I know that junk is his. Oh. I thought that I thu nambarly. I was that. I was that. I was that. I was that. I was that that that that that the h that that that the h that that that that the ha. I was that the ha- I was the ha- I was that their that that their that that that that the ha. Which one of them had the band-aid? So they're going down to hump fully clothed, which I appreciate it. Well, she's drying him with a towel. He's been swimming and she's drawing him the towel. But he walks away from while he's drying her and she's like, so sad. Yeah, but this guy needs help drying himself. It's not a good look for a doctor. He's just a terrible. It's. he. he. he. he. he. he. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. thi. thi. th. th. the th. the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. the. the. the. the. the the the the the the the the the the thu the the the. the. the. So, for a doctor. He's just a terrible, I just, yeah. It was like she had dried him every other time he was wet. Yeah, like it was very familiar. She's like, no, no, no, no drying? Honey, come here. You're still wet. Your velour shirt's gonna stick to your muskles. So when they're humping, she turned to the side and see Skip float underneath the boathouse. Which I liked. I thought that was a very cool like reveal of a body. Yeah, I like that as well. Yeah, the special effects are really good in this movie.
Starting point is 00:25:08 Yeah, a lot of the reviews I read said that the prosthetics look terrible and I was like, were you watching the same movie I was? I loved them. Yeah. Bucked. Yeah, yeah. So yes, the special effects I think are very good and very fun. Yeah. What? You know something to say?
Starting point is 00:25:27 I agree. I especially enjoy at the end where they're, during the reveal, they throw the eye thing. I love cat Rob. And it sticks to his face and he's running around, freaking out. I really like that. It looks like a slice of pizza. Yeah, it really does. And it like makes sort of like a slice of pizza hitting skin sound. So they decided to go
Starting point is 00:25:49 look for Skip, all the dudes. Yes. And one of them's like, you mean split up? And it's like, yeah, of course you're going to split up because it's a slasher movie. Yeah. But then Arch is like, the thi. thi. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. the the the the the the the the the the th. So, th. So, th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. the. thee. theeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeea. thi. thi. thi does that mean? He's been a lot of near-death situations. Has he? I don't think. I mean, well, there's the whole problem with Marnie McFly, like. True. Yeah. Big problems. That poor man's career is ruined by being in those, back to the future movies, I think.
Starting point is 00:26:15 He's the one that had most, the most career. Yeah, it does, but like I think he, like every time he goes outside, people are like, Biff, Biff, Biff, Biff. He's always Biff, no matter what. Yeah. It's a bummer. I mean, I've been calling him Biff the whole episode. It's true. Call him Arch. His name is Arch.
Starting point is 00:26:32 The man's name is A manned. the tombent. He gets caught up in a snare, right? He does. And there's just a snake there indefinitely. The most patient snake? Yeah. Well, and did you notice when the feet kicked the snake aside, it was standing on board? They weren't on, it wasn't the ground? No. Yeah, so like, you see the foot like, sweep aside the snake and, and if you look, it was just old boards that that the person person the person the person the person the person person person the person person person the person person person the person the person the person the person the person the person the person the person the person the person the person the person the the the the the the the th. th. th. the. theateathea. the the the theatheatheat. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. the the the the the the the the the the the the the the theat. theat. theat. theat. theat. theat. theat. theat. theat. the the the the the the most. the most. the most. the the the the the snake and and if you look it was just old boards that
Starting point is 00:27:06 the person was standing on. I assume it was just bad continuity. Oh okay, I thought it had something to do with the end reveal. No, I think it was just crappy continuity. Cool. Yeah, good job guys. I couldn't tell the snake was fake or not. Yeah. Was it fake? No, it looked real, but I couldn't tell either. Because it just, I mean, it had a hell of a good core strength because it held half its body off the ground for like 20 minutes. I don't know about snakes, but I found it frightening. More or less frightening than if it had been a horse.
Starting point is 00:27:38 Trapped in a snare, I think I'd rather have a horse nearby than a snake. Because you might be able to use the horse to get out of the snar. Yeah, the horse might have some utility to me. But could you put your hatred for horses aside to do that? It's not a hatred so much as just a fear and a loathing. Is that okay? No, I get it. They're fine. Yes, soulful, soulful eyes. They're horrifying to me. Sure. I agree with you, but I respect them, yeah. You respect a snake?
Starting point is 00:28:10 Oh yeah, yeah, yeah. You gotta respect the snake. Katie disagrees. I know. Shaking my head now. Katie and eyes views on animals usually differ. Cats is one thing that we really nailed together. I'm all right with the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the together. We really just come together on cats. I'm all right with the dogs. So then he's missing. And so then the water goes off. I don't
Starting point is 00:28:30 remember what happens next. The water goes off? Is this when they go to look? Yeah. The water goes off, but like you see Nan go off. Oh yeah, she runs off. She runs off, but like, she runs off to confront Muffy right oh about the crying baby tape but we never see her again until you're right. But like we don't see her do you into water fun? It's in that Cosmo quiz anal entry water fun so yeah the water they go in to turn off the water muffy's gonna make tea, and brown sludge comes out of. So the expertly dressed Nikki, at this point she's got the half shirt, sweatshirt, she's got the harem paunched pants,
Starting point is 00:29:14 and like maybe like high top, scrotts, haremes. Yeah, maybe like jellies or so. She's got like high. I think she's got like like wrestling shoes on? Because I figure like this is the period of wrestling shoes would have been remnants of Brim. She looks at the well and says something like who dug this well, Pocahontas? Yeah, because the well digger, Pocahontas, as you know she created all of the wells in America. That's her one historical reference. Also the water the water. the water. the water. the water. the water. the water. th. th. th. th. th. th. the water. th. th. th. th. th. the w. th. the w. the w. the w. the w. the w. the well, th. th. the we, th. th. Yeah, it looked like the ring. It was gross. Yeah, it was terrible. But as they get up to the well,
Starting point is 00:29:48 Hal is like putting the Hal moves on Nikki. Something about plowing a field. I want to plow your field. That's what it was. Yeah, which I think is also Shakespeare. I think she's D-I's. I's. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. Oh, that's right. That's the one. I know you get those two, just so confused.
Starting point is 00:30:14 We're out there. How sweet snooky. Um, sorry, I got that out. That's good. I'm glad we could get your snooky reference. We, you guys don't know this, but we edit a snooky reference out of every episode because Alan just cannot leave it alone. And there's a hidden J-well joke in every episode. Yeah, you really search for some of them. Meanwhile, Muffy, when we first meet her is dressed in like a nice 80s dress, and yeah, looks good and she's like got makeup on and she's put together.
Starting point is 00:30:45 But the next day we see her and she's wearing like sort of a frumpy dress with high socks and a big cardigan and her hair's real frizzy and she's like doesn't seem to be wearing makeup she's it looks like a different muffie. Right. Yeah. And everyone just sort of accepts that. Yeah, she's like wearing clawed hoppers. There's like a joke about like who did that like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, like, that, that's, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like about like who did that to her like basically flying she fucked somebody last night and got all toe up looking. Okay. Oh yeah because she runs up so she's like I forgot to get dressed. No which part?
Starting point is 00:31:14 No not tow up? No. Okay I thought then it meant dead. Oh that's belly up. That's belly up. It's same concept. No no tore up as in toe up. You got tore up. Oh. Oh. I I I I I I I I I I th th th th th th th th th to to to to to to to to to to to to to to toe. Oh. Oh. Oh. Oh. Oh. Oh. Oh. Oh. Oh. Oh. Oh. Oh. Oh. Oh. Oh. Oh. You got tore up. Oh, I think you meant toes to the ceiling. Guys, this is just full of sexual innuendos and I think I'm only half getting. I see you now. I understand. Okay.
Starting point is 00:31:39 So she, eventually, Hal is a dumbass and drops the bucket into the well, Nikki goes, or Nikki goes down into the well, and then finds Skip's head, Arch's head, and Nan's body in the well. Yeah, it's great. It's great. They're like just bobbing around in there, which shouldn't really make a lot of sense, because how do they, how are they not buoyed before? Yeah, how did they not see them before they, when they looked in the well? Yeah, that doesn't matter. Um, as we learned earlier, don't start picking this movie apart. It crumbles in your hands. Yeah, well, so it's basically like a 10 little
Starting point is 00:32:16 Indians scenario. Yeah, exactly. There is an Agatha Christie reference. That's right. I thrown. It's a thi. There isn't. There is is is is is is is is is is is. There is. Like Agatha Christie movies in 10 Little Indians, specifically it was like one of my favorite movies, like the old movie. Sure. I love a good mystery. I like that this is kind of a whodunit. And I really was, I was shocked at the reveal. Oh. Because you guys said there's a twist at the end and some people don't like it. Yeah, yeah. And I thought the twist was Buffy. Right. Which I guess is the red herring of the twist.
Starting point is 00:32:52 But it isn't. Bum-Bun. Okay. Okay. So, well, I mean, people just, left and right at this point. Like it's just... Yeah, Nikki and Chaz are having this conversation about looking at the bright side of things. Yeah, just like... Chess doesn't like your Debbie-downer attitude. Once she gets... He wants her to get poked, I just said, wants her to get stoked. He probably also wants her to get poked,
Starting point is 00:33:15 because he's real into fucking. Um, sorry. I feel like that was just streamed. that that th. thi that thi th. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi's like, thi's like, thi. thi's like, thi's like, thi's like, thi's like, thi's like, thi's like, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, Chi. Chess isn't just just doesn't just doesn't like, just doesn't like, just doesn't like, just doesn't like, you just said there. This is weird. Yeah. At this point, they've also gotten in touch with the constable and he's told them that he's going to take a boat over there and send up a flare so they'll know it's him. Right. Yes. Right. Yes. they-
Starting point is 00:33:36 to be, theyn't, this is really a good setup, I really like this. And Kitts found in the basement a picture of two twin kids at the house. And a growth chart, like how tall you are on the wall. For Muffy and Buffy. And Buffy St. John. Then they find a letter in the boat, which was when my suspension of disbelief started to fade a little bit about how Buffy was a, no, it didn't even say, it didn't even have any. Yeah, they didn't say it just, it didn't mention the name specifically. Yeah, that she would escape from an asylum and was dangerous basically.
Starting point is 00:34:19 Yeah, it had some really weird turn of phrase. What was the, oh. Something about a state hospital. This is about the time that I, I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I didn't, I didn't, I didn't, I didn't, I didn't, I didn't, I didn't even, didn't, I didn't, I didn't even th, didn't even th, didn't even the the the the the the the, didn't didn't, didn't, didn't, didn't, didn't, didn't, didn't, didn't, didn't, didn't, didn't, didn't, didn't, didn't, didn't, didn't, didn't, didn't, didn't, didn't, didn't, didn't, I didn't, I didn't, I didn't, I didn't, I didn't, I didn't, I didn't, I didn't, I didn't, I didn't, I didn't the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the th. the the the th. the the the the the the the the the the the the the the turn or phrase. What was the... Oh. Something about a state hospital. This is about the time that I had made dinner earlier in the evening. A delicious tie, cucumber salad that had jalapenos in it. And I had rubbed my eyes with my hands that had jalapenos in their times. to the movie got a little blurry for me at this time. Sure, that thi th. thi th. the movie th. th. th. th. th. th. thii, th. th. th. thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, I thi, thi, thi, thi, I was, I was. th. I was, I was, I was. I had th. I had th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I thi, I was. I was. I was. I was. I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm thin. thi. toda. toda. toda. toda. toda. toda. toda. today, today, today, I had today. today, I had time. Sure, that'll happen. Which is why you rubbed jalapenos in your eyes before we did this episode so you could get back into it. Yeah, yeah, it's the jalapeno vibe. I gotta be there.
Starting point is 00:34:48 Yeah, you're grooving on it. Wait, did they find the letter in the boat? They were in the attic first and they found the dolls that they had had at the dinner dinner dinner dinner dinner dinner dinner dinner dinner dinner dinner dinner dinner dinner dinner dinner dinner dinner dinner dinner dinner that they had had at the dinner party. That's right. That's right. That was so weird. And her Nan. Set up as how they were killed or whatever. Yeah, it decapitated. With Nan and Chattano, or no, Nan and Arches Head and Skips Head in a bowl of water. Yeah. A tas. Chas and Nikki. I couldn't remember Chaz. Chas's name. Chaz and Nikki on a bed full of blood. Yeah. Can we talk about how she finds Chaz after she leaves the room and comes back in? And he's got the FNED mask on and he's, she thinks he's holding his wiener meats.
Starting point is 00:35:34 He has no wiener meats. That's the reveal. Yeah. Someone has taken his wiener meats. Here's where the, this part part part part part part part part this part this part part this part this part part this part part this part this part part this part this part this part this part this part this part this part this part of the this part of the this part of the plot Crumbles for me a little bit too, but we'll come back to that. Okay When we do the reveal at the end of the episode, I guess and how does Nikki get killed? Right, then somebody comes in. Somebody comes in, right, right. The weird thing about this movie is you don't actually see any of the kills. No, they're all happened off screen. No boobs. And no boobs. No boobs. No boobs no boobs. There's a lot of... I didn't even think about that. No, there's no boobs.
Starting point is 00:36:07 There's the scene where Nikki is like opened, blousy shirt leaning out the window and you can't tell the shirt is taped to her booze. Yeah, it doesn't. The ad part moves, but the top part doesn't. . This is your favorite movie, you tell me. It's not my favorite movie. Oh, that's right. The Lake House is your favorite movie. Also, not my favorite movie. It is, right, it are. That was a joke.
Starting point is 00:36:29 I've ever seen that. I don't think I'm gonna. Lakehouse? Yeah. I fucking love Sandra the Rock. Yeah, all right, I'd watch that. She loves Duane the Rock Johnson. Who doesn't? Do you have the Rock Clock?
Starting point is 00:36:52 Do you have the Rock Clock? I do have the Rock Clock. It's pretty sweet. It is really sweet. I love the rock. If the rock had been a horror movie, that's what we would have been talking about. Tooth Fairy doesn't count. I'm just going to make a tooth fairy joke. No. All right, so where are we?
Starting point is 00:37:11 Nicky is dead. Yeah, they're in the attic, which is like, Dr. Stubids. It's like, Dr. Stubids. Dr. Stupids. Tiny windows in the attic. Tiny windows. And also you're just one floor above. Like, you're not getting that much of a better view. Not to mention the living room had those.
Starting point is 00:37:33 Panorama, yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Stupid, Dr. Stupids. They looked out. They could they could they could they could they could they could they could they could they could they could. They could. They could. They could. They could. They could. They could. They could. They could. They could. They could. They could. They could. They could. They could. They could. They could. They could. They could. They could. They could. They could. They could. They could. They could. They could. They could. They could. They they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they. They they. They they. They they. They they. They they. They they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they the the. They the. They the. They the. They the the the the their. They're just. the the th. th. th. th. the. the. the. the. the the the the the the the the their. their. definitely not on that lake. There's no boats, there's no movement, nothing. No. Well, see he took a sub back, but I don't think he did that. No. All right. The next note I have says, oh, Kit, you're as dumb as the rest, but I don't remember
Starting point is 00:37:54 what that's about. And then the flare goes off. Well, but first they go to find Nikki and Chaz, they find them dead. Yes. Then they find Harve hanging. Oh, that's right. It happens really fast. Yeah, you never see, so him and Nan, you don't see the, like somebody coming upon them. Right.
Starting point is 00:38:18 There's no lead up. Yeah, their bodies are found. And then they run down to the boat house. And he's, Rob, Rob, Rob, Rob, Rob, Rob, Rob, Rob, Rob, Rob, Rob, Rob, Rob, Rob, Rob, Rob, Rob, Rob, Rob, Rob, Rob, Rob, Rob, Rob, Rob, Rob, Rob, Rob, Rob, Rob, Rob, Rob, Rob, Rob, Rob, the, the, the, the, the, they, th, th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. the, th. th. th. the, th. the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, they, they's, they's, they's, they're, they're, they're, the. they's, they're, the. the. they's, they. they. the, they. the, they bodies are found. And then they run down to the boat house. And he's like, Rob's like, maybe we missed him, maybe he went back up to the house. Like you just came down the stairs to the dock, like you would have seen him. You're so stupid. This is why you're not going to be a doctor.
Starting point is 00:38:36 I like hate to keep didn't want to tell him he's an idiot. I'm sorry you're too stupid to be a doctor. Dr. Stupids. So this is where they find the note in the boat that the constable would supposedly bring to them about the hospital and all that. And they run back up to the house, get in the kitchen, get in the kitchen, that is the first action. She says it's under the cushion and I just kept being like under the cushion Dr. Stubids? Well no that was it was under the cushion when Constable Potter took it. Yeah but I guess he never returned it yeah so it was never there to begin with? Well it was there when he took it but did he leave it there when he came back? Duntunt because he brought the boat back. Right, the boat's there, so weird.
Starting point is 00:39:25 And this whole time now, Muffy, who we believe to be Buffy, is chasing them with a knife, right? Yes. Yeah, well, yeah. No, Buffy who we believe to be muffie. Right. But we, at this point, we're to believe. Not yet. Because it isn't when, so they're chasing, they go back to the house, she's chasing them, they go down to the basement then and that's when they see the Muffy and Buffy growth chart. So they had thought it was Muffy. Just offer rocker. I think, apparently my notes are bad. Nah, no, no, no. I don't know that it matters.
Starting point is 00:40:06 Because none of it matters, because none of it's real. Right, so Kit and Rob gets separated. Kit runs into the dining or the living room. And in the living room... No, but beforehand, she runs into the kitchen and Muffy's, like, or Buffy, starts chasing her. Right.
Starting point is 00:40:27 And like, it looks really, no, but like, she doesn't just, it actually, you look like, it looks like you're actually going to see a kill now. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Like, she's coming at her with the knife while Dr. Stupid is locked in the room, the too, they, thi, thi, th......... thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, to. to. to. to. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th really sad. I felt bad for him. I felt bad for him there. Yeah. And then she opens, she turns around and opens the door to the living room. And they're all, everybody who was in the weekend who had been murdered up into this point was having a silent conversation.
Starting point is 00:40:57 I thought that was so disconcerting the fact that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that's so creepy I really really liked that if they were talking yeah just like they were mounding words I'm in conversation and laughing and like read it like they were all looked like they were having a party but it was silent which I thought was so weird it's the illusion that they're like they're ghosts in yeah I didn't their gus bumps about April Fool's Day you guys oh I didn't even notice that part like I they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they were they were they were they were they were they were they were they were they were they were they were they were they were they were they were they were they were they were they were they were they were they were they were they were they were they were they were they were they were they were they were they were they were they were they were they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they were they were they were they were they were they were they were they were they were they're they're they're they're they're they're they're they're they're they're they're even notice that part. Like, I just thought they were sitting there quietly. Yeah, no, they were all like laughing, but silently. It was super weird. Now I'm gonna have to watch it again.
Starting point is 00:41:33 Yeah. Buck attacks Rob in the closet. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. . . of the original red herring, they thought that he had come back and killed Skip because of the prank he had played the fairy man. Or that the fairy man had done it.
Starting point is 00:41:46 Oh right, he's not the fairy man. The fairy man is the older guy. Correct. And when I saw him in that last scene, I was like, who's that old guy? He looked, he looked decidedly less serle and they yell, April fools. And then they started laughing and talking and Larry and Sue's. And they start spraying champagne all over the room, which I really liked. So the whole premise is that we explain this. This is your movie.
Starting point is 00:42:16 You made this movie. I made this happen. So Muffy is going to inherit this house, but she will only inherit it from her father if she can prove that she can basically be responsible and pay for it? The property taxes? Pay for the taxes and stuff. So in order to do that, she decides to open a murder, mystery, bed and breakfast type deal. So that people can come for a weekend, like a whole, mystery, bed, and breakfast type deal.
Starting point is 00:42:46 So that people can come for a weekend, like a whole immersive experience. So she, you know, explains how everybody was in on it, and but this is what's going on. Or how each person became. Right, they were brought into the fold after they were killed. Right. And that's when there's the reveal that Skip is not actually her distant cousin. There there is no buffing. T, like, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, their their their their th, th is thi thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, th th th th th thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi, that's when there's the reveal that Skip is not actually her distant cousin. There is no Buffy. That's right. It's Muffy and Skip. They're the two kids. They're fraternal twins.
Starting point is 00:43:16 This is where it sort of fell apart for me a little bit because like Chaz is only dead in that bedroom for like three minutes before Nikki gets back there to find his body. Like how did she convince him that quickly to play along with this or like get harv strung up and convince him that we need you to hang by your neck for a little while here because of this really funny prank we're playing? I think you're overthinking this movie. I know, I know. The timing just didn't really work for me. No, I, th, th, th, th, th, th. th. th. th. th. th. thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi, thi, thi, thi, thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thii. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. this movie. I know. I know. The timing just didn't really work for me. No, I know it's, yeah.
Starting point is 00:43:48 Also, because she would have had to kill not just, like convince not just Harv, but Nikki, Chaz and Harv, all in that span of Kit and Dr. Stupid being in the attic. And how long were they in there? And also like Nan was pretty upset about that abortion joke, like legitimately. So I can't see her being like, oh sure, I'll go along with this death prank you're playing. Yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 00:44:14 Yeah, no one raged on her for doing an awful, awful, awful thing. They spray champagne and play, um, that song, uh, right. Yeah, what's that's it? Mama told me not to come. Yeah, that's it She does apologize for the snake which was unexpected Yeah, and how some of the like room pranks cut a little too close with kind of gives like a Nah, look to Nan when she says sorry about your own. Also somebody shit themselves. I think it was arch. It was arch. It was arch. It was arch. It was art. Yeah, we all shit. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. that. the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the th. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. th. th. th. th. th. the. the. th. the. th. the the the the the the the the the themselves. I think it was arch. It was arch. We all shit ourselves sometimes, so. Sure. Yeah, some of us more than others.
Starting point is 00:44:51 Yeah. Then there's the final scene. Rush fast. Is that that to me? We all shit ourselves. Every. Um, the final scene. Yeah, Muffy goes back to her room.
Starting point is 00:45:05 Roll drunk, drinking out of a bottle of champagne. She is a great drunk actor. Yeah. And clearly this happened way after the other part of the film was done. Like it clearly was attacked on piece of the movie. It looked like it. It felt completely unnecessary to me, but. on piece of the movie. Like, it looked like it. It felt completely unnecessary to me, but...
Starting point is 00:45:27 Well, from what I... So, go ahead and see, there's a package on her bed. She's drunk, she opens the package, and earlier in the movie we saw her playing with a... How have we not talked about the, um... The flashback? The flashback? What are those things, a jack in the box. Yeah. And there's a, her parents give her a jack in the box. It's got a monster in it.
Starting point is 00:45:46 What? What? What? Do you do that? Oh, I see. Right. It's a terrible thing to do. to do it.
Starting point is 00:45:50 Right. Right. Because, the flash back, the flash, the flash, the flash, the the they the the they the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the th-a-in. th-in. th-in. the the the th-in-in-in-in-in-in-it-it-it-it-it-it-it-it-it-it-it-it. the the the the the the the the the th-a. th-a. th-a. th-in. th-in. th-in. th-in. th-in. th-in. th-in. th-in. th-in. th-in. th-in. th-in. th-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-s-a-a-a-a-s-a-bo-s-bo-bo-s-a-s-a-s-s-s-s-a-s-s-s-s-s-tukk, k-tunk. And then it opens and it's like a creature from the gate that, or the rancor for Richard of the Jedi. Yeah, that like pops out. Sorry, Katie. That's fine. A lot of things I don't understand on this one. And then you never see that again. Yeah. So she's got the jack in the tuck. tuck. tuck. tuck. tuck. tuck. tuck. tuck. tuck. t. t. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. tho. th. th. thi. thi. tho. the the th. the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. And, the the the the the the thethe box and she's tun-kutunkety and then puts it down, doesn't open it.
Starting point is 00:46:26 And then she opens it and someone pops out and slits her throat. Not from the jack in the box but from a room behind her. From behind her. From behind her. Yeah. And it's Nan. But it was a fake fake out. And I was like, who is thiwa' that? It didn't look like, thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. that that that that the the that that that that the that. that that that that their thi. that. the thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. tho-s out out out the the tho the tho-s out tho-s out tho-s out thi. that. Someone thea. thea. Someone thrown. thrown thr she's a cat burglar now. Oh okay. She's like wearing a black turtle knife. Because it was three months later when they filmed this part and her hair grew out and... Yeah. But I there was kind of like a... I thought there was like an intimation that they might be like lovers or something and there was like some, because there was just like... Did you think that missing? Yes, I did. Yeah, it was weird.
Starting point is 00:47:08 It was like a practical joke between two lovers. And I thought that sort of may have called back to the lesbianism question from the Cosmo article. Right. They also do call her Muff Diver at one point, so. Oh, that's true, they do. But although if your name's Muffy, that's what you're. People are going to call you that. Yeah, they're going to call you more Diver. Speaking of 1986, we should get out of the way
Starting point is 00:47:32 that there's quite a bit of homophoby in this movie. Especially in the opening sequences. There's just some shitty homophobic stuff. Men being, being effeminate and it's kind of crappy. I do remember there being a scene where I think Arch and Shaz are like, being jokingly effeminate, I should say. Laying around on each other in a bed and saying, hold me like, hold me like, that one felt like, that one felt like, that one felt like that's just what dudes do? Is that what dudes do? That one, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, I, I, I, I, I, th, th, th, th, th, I, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, I, I, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I there, I there, I there, I do, I do, I do, there, there, there, th. there, there, there, there, there, there, there, I do, I do. is, I do. there, I there, I like, is that what dude's doing? That one, yeah, I didn't find that one to be shitty. No, no, that one wasn't shit. It was the beginning, like, you know. The home video thing in the beginning, right after Vicky,
Starting point is 00:48:09 or Nikki says that she's, um, she's like, thiii, thi. Like, that whole thing. him. Oh, okay. Yeah. Wow. 86. Was it Chaz? Or was it chas or was it biff? It was? No, not, arch, arch, arch, arch, sorry. They're all the same, really? Biff, arch, chas. This is like very auto poetic. So do we want to move on to the, I've got no funny voice for this one rating phase. Sure. Missy. Missy. Eat eight. Missy? Missy. Missy. Eight. Justify it. You tell us why.
Starting point is 00:48:48 I think a lot of it is nostalgia. But I also think it's funny. I mean, I like a slasher. I loved slasher movies as a teen. And I thought it was hilarious. But I think a lot of it is nostalgia from seeing it as a teen and really loving it. Then re-watching it. I've watched it pretty recently, probably about two years ago, but you know watching it now is not as funny and I don't know.
Starting point is 00:49:15 Meaningful. I'm having trouble with words right now. As meaningful as it was then. Not that this was a meaningful movie and it was then. Not that this was a meaningful movie and it's shaped who you are as an adult. It's shaped who I am. I'm a practical joker. Yes, she's quite the consummate practical joker. I like to see people fall. You do remember we were in D.C. that one time in that old lady fell? I had to like turn you away from it. Was she okay? She was. She was. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. th. the. th. th. th. th. th. th. at her and I had to like turn you away from it. She was okay. She was. My first reaction is laugh and then help or laugh and
Starting point is 00:49:50 help at the same time. Sure people love that. Yeah I always feel really terrible because I'm just like oh my god. That was so funny when you are okay? No really I feel terrible for you but I can't stop laughing. Yeah. Eight because laughing. Yeah. Eight, because nostalgia. Katie. I loved this movie. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:50:10 I was, I like, the twist really surprised me. And I know you said a lot of people don't like it. And I can see how people would be like, oh, it's stupid because it didn't really, it was really, it was really funny, I thought. It was like almost self-referential, the way that like scream, like, yeah. genre-referential for sure. Yeah, sure. I think it also, one of the things that I really liked about it,
Starting point is 00:50:32 it was a high school movie or like that kind of movie, but yet a slasher movie. Yeah. Like I, it combined two of the things I loved at that age to form one movie. So. And having people in it from classic high school movies of that period. Valley Girl, just one of the guys, back to the future, like. Right. Right. My only real complaint about it, other than the timing, not working on that sign, whatever, is that you don't see any of the deaths, which I feel like, I guess, I just feel like there had to have been a way to do that, where you would feel like you were seeing the deaths, even though you weren't, but it felt like almost, like they were missing. It felt like watching a movie on cable where parts are
Starting point is 00:51:19 cut, like, violent parts were cut. Well, and I realized that this time re-re watching, re watching, re watching, re watching, re watching, thing, th. that, thi watching, thi, thi, that, thi, that, thi, that, that, that, thi, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, thi, thi, thi, thi, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, is, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thin, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, thi, thi, thi, thi, that. Well, and I realized that this time re-watching it, that like, that that's kind of what it felt like. It felt like parts were just cut out. But I guess it was all part of the bigger plot art. Right. But I'm also gonna give a Nate. I would totally recommend watching this, even though we just spoiled it for you. We to watch it. Yeah, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, that, th. th. th. that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th, th, th. th, th, th, th, th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that, that isn't as good if you know what the ending is. We told you to watch it.
Starting point is 00:51:45 Yeah, like you were warned, so whatever. So who hates it? Why do it? Is it just the twist because it's not? You don't see the kills? It's got a 36% of rotten tomatoes. 33. I was stunned by that. really a lot better than a lot of 80s slashers. I think because it is kind of like.
Starting point is 00:52:05 Too joky, not serious enough? Maybe. Missing that essential seriousness. Too Dr. Stupid. It is too, and it's like, yeah, it's fun. And like the tongue is firmly planted in the cheek through almost the entire movie. But like it doesn't have like, I think Katie's point to it not having those like at the time
Starting point is 00:52:25 Jason Vorhys Michael Myers Freddy Kruger kills of like seeing the evisceration seeing the sleeping bag hitting the tree like all that stuff it's literally the definition of a slasher film right right right there's no slashing so it's also not can't be like some of the other one or not yeah it is more it's more agaitha Christie it's more it's more it's a ca ca. the c. the the the c. the th. that's that's that's th. that's that's th. It's that's that's th. It's that's th. It's that's the th. It's that's that's that's that's that's that's the th. I can't. It's that's that's that's. I that's. It's that's. It's. It's. It's. It's. It's. I can't. I can't. I can't. I can't. I can't can't can't can't can't can't can't can't can't can't can't can't can't can't can't can't can can can can can can can can can't can can can't th. I can's th. I's th. I's th. I's th. I's the the the the the the the the the t. I'm the the t. I'm the the the the t. I'm. I'm. I'm. the the the the the the t. I'm. I'm. I'm. I'm. I'm. I more Agatha Christie. It's more, it's closer to that end of things. It's more suspense. I think that's the complaint. I would totally give it a seven and a half. I'm gonna come in a little lower than you guys,
Starting point is 00:52:51 but I think it's a really fun movie. I just don't know that it's got like, from me, like, it's not something I'd want to go back and re-watch over and over again, but I think it's... It's not the thing. What's this now? What thing? We're not going to watch it every year on July 4th, like Jaws? Like on April 1st? Like we watch Jaws? On July 4th, yeah. Much to your chagrin when you just, I have like this terrible story to go along with Jaws. Please tell me. I had to have a spinal tap after seeing Jaws. Oh my God. Well, not because of.
Starting point is 00:53:36 Not because of the things seem unrelated. I was like six years old and my family used to, we used to just go to the drive-in like they would just put me in PJs and we'd go to the drive-in and I'd watch whatever you know until I fell asleep including Saturday Night Fever don't take good thing you fell asleep during that one oh yeah except I didn't I woke up during the rape scene I was just like what are they doing did you rape up during them? That's a dentist the the the the the the the the drug. the drug. the drug. the drug. the drug. the the th. the th. th. th. Oh th. Oh th. Oh th. Oh th. Oh th. Oh th. Oh th. Oh th. Oh th. Oh, th. I was th. I was th. I was th. I was th. I was th. I was th. I was th. I would th. I would they th. I would th. I would th. I would they would they would they would they would they would they would they would they were they were. they were they were they they were they th. they they they they th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I was just they were they were they are they doing? Did you rape up during them? That's a dentist.
Starting point is 00:54:07 The rape scene or the suicide or the drug use. Yeah, but the movie is not a not a number. Not an uptie. Not a good time. So we went and saw Jaws and I was sick. Like I had like a low fever or whatever and then came back. my the. Like, I the the the the the the the the the the the the the their their their their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. And the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the in the middle of the night with like a fever of 104. Oh Jesus. And was hallucinating, like woke up and got out of bed and was convinced I was walking
Starting point is 00:54:30 on the bottom of the ocean. And there were like fish and you know, jaws and sharks and stuff were up floating above me and jaws was chasing me. Oh my god. So then they had to take me to the hospital hospital the hospital the hospital the hospital the hospital the hospital the hospital, the hospital, the hospital, the hospital, the hospital, the hospital, the hospital, the hospital, the hospital, the hospital, the hospital, the hospital, the hospital, the hospital, the ha, their, to, to, to, to, to, too, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, to, to, and, to, the the the th th th th th th too.a, th tooo.e.a.a. And, too.a. And, too. And, too. And, too. And, too. And, too. And So then they had to take me to the hospital because I had this terribly high fever and they thought I might have meningitis so I had to have a spinal tap. That sounds awful. Yeah. That's awful.
Starting point is 00:54:52 You should watch the last shark instead of jaws on the 4th of July? Is that like the last unicorn? Oh, I wish. Katie. Katie. Yeah. I want to tell you about a thing, Katie. Is it about your Lord and Savior Jesus Christ? Because if so, like, I just feel like we've talked about this. I'm not that interested. Well, I mean, I'm just worried about your immortal. No, I want to talk to you about crypto-I'm the parcel of Terrorer. Way better. I have an exciting announcement. Oh.
Starting point is 00:55:25 So exciting. In the last episode I punched myself in, sounding like a weener talking about it. I don't think you sounded like a weiner. Oh, thanks, buddy. I think you did a better job of selling things than I do, which is I'm just like, ma'am, blah. By a treat box. That's cool as shit. September will be trick
Starting point is 00:55:51 October will be treat. The deadline for ordering the trick box is August 31st. Oh, that's coming up. Yeah, oh my god it's already August. How do you, yeah it's like the middle of fucking August. Where are we in life? I don't know, I'm sweating. How do you order them if you want to order them? Well, you go to Cryptocurium. CRY, P-T-O-U-R-I-U-M dot com. And you subscribe for the parcel of terror. These are regular parcel of ter boxes that are that are that are that are that that are that that that are that that that shit. Not that they're not always full of sweet shit, because they are. But these are like extra sweet shit.
Starting point is 00:56:28 Yeah, I mean, things you can expect in these? Tell me. Special Halloween sculptures. Oh, special Halloween theme sculptures. Ooh. Custom all hollows themed illustrations and stories created specifically for the parcel of terror. Will it th th th th th th th th th th th th th th of terror to ever be Halloween again Yeah, yeah in October. Okay, I was checking Not now where you can go to the store and buy Halloween stuff in August, which bugs me out a little bit
Starting point is 00:56:52 Are you um pro or anti pumpkin beer being available at the same of year? I'm anti. Why? I am? Halloween starts after after school sales are done. Yeah, before that I don't want any Halloween? What if it was just Halloween year around though? Then? I th. I th. I th. I the th. I the th. I the th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I the th. I th. Yeah. Before that, I don't want any Halloween. What if it was just Halloween year round, though? Then Halloween isn't special. Halloween is just regular. Yeah. But it's like, but look around your home. Yeah, but I don't, like, this is just one room. True.
Starting point is 00:57:15 Or I've got all the Halloween stuff in the room. This just happens to be the room. the room get the Cryptocurium, Parcel of Terror. Yes. 35 bucks a month. Do it guys, come on. Get in there. You love Halloween. You know that Jason makes amazing stuff. We've been telling you about this for what?

Congratulations Mike and Michelle and Ellie. Yeah and Dylan and Alan. Yeah, great job everyone. Super proud of all of you. Who are. Is that appropriate? You are the champions. You were the champions.
Starting point is 00:59:10 Bum, bum, bum. And so, Mike wanted to let you guys know that at the end of October, he'll be doing a Clark Ashton Smith-Themed scene, called Beneath a Dim Sun, by Justine Jones prints by Jen Woodle and Alan Brown. Cool. And Clark Huston Smith was like a contemporary of Hb. Lovecraft wrote like fantasy and science fiction and stuff. Cool stuff. I wish the sun would get dimer now. When I originally read this ad copy I thought it said
Starting point is 00:59:40 dim sum and I was like I can get down some dim sum. What exactly is dim sum? You know, it's just like small plates, but for Chinese food, yeah. I want that. Yeah, totally. If you guys want to send us some dim sum. Do not do that. Oh, do not do that. Okay, no food. No food. No food. Well, I do not want your soup dumplings that you're going to send this in the mail.
Starting point is 01:00:05 You know what makes for a great radio? Candy eating. And Mike also wanted me to let you know, or us to let you know about in November he's doing a zine based on William Hope Hodgson called Outer Monstrosities by Nick Gucker. And with a mini illustro obscurum by Mike. That's awesome. Yeah, so it's gonna be full of like Hodgson monsters and stuff so get in them. Yeah, we'll give you more details about that as it gets closer to the date that it's available. Yeah, so thanks Mike. Thanks Jason. Thanks for the candy Jason. Thanks for the candy Jason. Thanks Jason. Thanks for the candy Jason. I'll never stop eating it.
Starting point is 01:00:46 So Katie, what are we doing next week? We're doing your favorite movie, The Thing. Abrel Fools. It's not funny. It's not good. Especially not for what we're about to do. We're doing a movie you suggested that we do. I know. Why? The Conjuring. The Conjuring. James Juan. You brought it up probably every sixth episode. And which I dislike this movie. Terrible. Terrible. What did you say when I said that I was going to watch this and I wanted you to watch me with me? I probably swore a lot. I'm not watching that terrible movie? Fuck no. Fn't no. Missy. Starting point is 01:01:39 My attic's air conditioned, which is weird, but there's no heat. So it's a bit of a toss-up. Yeah. Yeah. All right. Well, thanks for listening to another episode of WhereWoof Ambulance. Bye. Bye. Bye. Bye. Yeah, we're back, everybody.
Starting point is 01:01:54 So we're doing the second half of the episode. No, no, it's over. you
